7th/8th Grade Volleyball Wrap Up Their Seasons

The Lady Shamrocks middle school squads capped off their seasons this past week. The 7th graders finished with a 3-7 record, and the 8th graders went 1-12-1.

On Monday, Mar. 18, the 7th graders fell 25-17 in their first set against Bland, rebounded with a 25-19 victory in their second, but lost 25-22 in their final one. In both contests, the 8th graders fell 25-9 and 25-14 to the Bears.

The following day, the 7th and 8th graders rebounded with two-set victories against Chamois. Scores were not available at press time.

New Haven played their season finale in a rivalry clash with Hermann at home on Thursday, Mar. 21. The 7th graders lost both contests: 25-19 and 25-22. For the 8th graders, they fell 25-17 in their first set, edged out a 25-21 win in the second, and were defeated 25-7 in the final.
