The varsity baseball team started off the week strong with a win over Calvary Lutheran of 11-4. Owen Borcherding had a Home Run and 3 hits and scored 2 runs, Jake Engelbrecht scored 1 hit and 1 run, William Hellmann scored 1 run, Mitchell Meyer scored 2 hits and 3 runs, Matthew Otten scored 2 hits and 1 run, August Panhorst scored 1 hit and 1 run, Emmett Panhorst scored 1 hit and 1 run, and Charlie Roth scored 1 hit and 1 run.
Hermann proved to be a formidable opponent shutting out the Shamrocks 10-0 later in the week. Matthew Otten managed two hits off of Hermann’s two pitchers.
