XC Country Brings Home Medals From St. James Invitl.
New Haven’s cross country team hit the Maramec Spring Park trail on Tuesday, Oct. 1. Both varsity and middle school runners brought home medals from the St. James Invitational.
Janelle Cronin ranked the highest for the varsity Shamrocks. She placed seventh and completed the course at 19:38.7.
Payton Hecktor medaled at twelfth with a time of 23:10.4.
Ryan Steinbeck was the top finisher for the varsity boys. He took 13th place and clocked in at 19:38.7.
Easton Bailey crossed the finish line at third for the middle school boys. He posted a time of 11:53.5.
Amelia Heimos earned a medal after placing ninth in the junior high race with a time of 14:49.1.
The varsity girls (103) ranked fourth out of six teams, while the boys (162) finished eighth. The middle school boys took ninth with 205 points.
