Ghirardelli Launches a Fruity New Twist on Its Viral Chocolate Sensation
Ghirardelli is doubling down on its viral chocolate sensation, offering a fresh, fruity take that adds a seasonal twist to the cult-favorite flavor combo.
On Wednesday, the 174-year-old chocolate company revealed a new treat in stores for fans of its viral Dubai Style Chocolate sundae, which was first released last year and proved so popular that it earned its own dedicated chocolate line. This time, it's not a truffle collection or a sundae, but something even sweeter—it's Ghirardelli's Dubai Style Chocolate Strawberry Bliss.
"The Dubai Style Chocolate Sundae quickly became a standout for us last year, and the excitement from our guests made it clear that the indulgent sweet, salty & crunchy profile had lasting appeal," Lacey Zane, vice president of restaurant & retail at Ghirardelli Chocolate Company, explained in a statement on Wednesday, adding, "Dubai Style Chocolate Strawberry Bliss adds a fresh contrast that is light and refreshing."
Ghirardelli Debuts New Dubai Style Chocolate Strawberry BlissWhile chocolate and pistachio have taken over feeds everywhere, pairing strawberry with pistachio has also been a longtime favorite across the globe, with recipes for treats and simple snacks like Strawberry Pistachio Shortcake, cakes, salads, tarts, galettes and pistachio-butter stuffed strawberries widely available.

According to the official description in the May 13 press release, Ghirardelli's new Dubai Style Chocolate Strawberry Bliss features fresh-sliced strawberries layered with the chocolatier's handmade hot fudge and its signature pistachio butter, along with kataifi (shredded, noodle-like strands of sweet phyllo dough), white chocolate, and sea salt blend, before it's finished with whipped cream and barista chips—talk about indulgence!
The treat is inspired not only by Ghirardelli's own successful sundae but also by the DIY Dubai Strawberry Cup that went viral last year, and, according to Zane, the fresh strawberries and nutty pistachio butter perfectly complement the richness of the brand's handmade hot fudge. It's a "perfect flavor pairing for the summer season," per the exec.

Harrison Ford, 83, Rocks a Kilt and Some Scotch and Might Just Be the Next Fashion Icon
Harrison Ford is notoriously private, but the legendary actor might have a future as a fashion icon.
The beloved star, 83, who is known for diverse films ranging from the Indiana Jones franchise to roles in Witness and The Fugitive, has tackled television in recent years with his role as Dr. Paul Rhoades in Apple TV+'s hit series Shrinking. But one role Ford isn't exactly known for is that of fashion plate. However, that may change after the acclaimed star wore a kilt alongside star skateboarder Tony Hawk at the Harrison Ford x Glenmorangie launch celebration at the Sunset Tower Hotel on Tuesday in West Hollywood, California. With a tumbler of the single malt Scotch whisky in his hand, Ford showed off his star style. Maybe we could get him on a runway someday soon!

Ford Just Gave a Powerful Commencement Speech at Arizona State UniversityOn Monday evening, Ford shared a powerful speech at an Undergraduate Commencement at Arizona State University, recognizing the school's largest graduating class ever, with more than 14,000 undergraduate students earning more than 15,000 degrees, the school shared.
“Your generation has far more power than you may realize,” Ford told Arizona State University’s Class of 2026 at Mountain America Stadium. “And if you harness that power, if you find your leadership, your issues, your voice, the world will not be able to ignore you."
Ford also shared that when he was a college student, his grades were slipping. Looking for an easy A, he signed up for a drama class. Soon, he discovered he had found his calling.
“My classmates were people I had previously discounted as geeks and misfits. But I soon realized I was a geek and misfit,” he said. “I had found my fit. These were my people.”
He soon moved to California and worked as a carpenter.
“This went on for about 15 years, during which I did a lot of carpentry and only four or five acting jobs, but they were more ambitious, good projects. And then it all added up, and I got ‘Star Wars,’” he said, as the audience screamed in celebration.
The rest is Han Solo history.

Why Theme Park Fans Across the Country Are Rushing to Louisville This May
Louisville is officially the place to be for thrill-seekers this May as a one-of-a-kind flight prepares for takeoff. While Kentucky Kingdom officially kicks off its 2026 season this weekend, the park's most anticipated addition is still undergoing its final preparations. The wait, however, is nearly over: the custom-designed Flying Fox roller coaster is officially scheduled to take flight on Thursday, May 28.
This isn't your standard off-the-shelf model. As a suspended coaster with a completely bespoke 1,380-foot layout, it has been a major point of discussion in enthusiast circles since its announcement. Unlike many family-oriented rides that follow a predictable loop, Flying Fox was designed to mimic the low-altitude maneuvers of a crop-dusting pilot. The experience sends riders soaring 65 feet above the park, reaching speeds of 37 mph and culminating in a signature plunge through a tunnel.

View this post on InstagramWhat has the roller coaster enthusiast community particularly buzzed is the ride’s accessibility paired with its custom engineering. With a height requirement of just 38 inches, it serves as a "gateway" coaster that doesn't compromise on the smooth, modern sensations that high-end manufacturers have mastered in recent years.
On Reddit’s r/rollercoasters, the excitement is palpable; as one fan noted, "Seems to be a custom layout too! 421 meters long (1380 ft) and will complement the park incredibly well! It even has a finale tunnel underneath the midway. What a great addition!" Others have praised the park's decision to invest in a high-quality "new gen" suspended model, with one rider adding, "These family inverts are worth every penny... I can imagine seeing lots more of these pop up."

If you’re planning to catch the coaster’s debut from out of town, the Tempo by Hilton Louisville Downtown NuLu is an ideal home base. Perfectly situated near the heart of the city and just a short drive from the park, it allows you to extend the day's excitement while relaxing with sweeping views of the Louisville skyline at its rooftop restaurant, High Stakes Rooftop.
For those who can't wait until the 28th, the park is hosting a First Riders Auction where fans can bid to be among the first 20 people to officially ride the Fox, with proceeds benefiting the Kentucky 4-H Foundation. Whether you’re a local looking for a new weekend staple or a traveler chasing the latest in custom track design, May 28 is the date to watch.
'Chicago Med' Boss and Star Tease Season 11 Finale Chaos — Including a Hospital Lockdown and Emergency Birth (Exclusive)
When the Season 11 finale of Chicago Medbegins tonight, Hannah (Jessy Schram) faces one of the most challenging deliveries of her career: Her own. She’s going into labor two weeks early, but there’s an even more challenging twist: The hospital is on lockdown.
Gaffney is on lockdown because one of the prisoners who was brought in for medical treatment following a prison riot escaped, so no one is allowed in or out of the hospital, including the obstetrician who is on her way to deliver the baby of a woman already in the labor, so Hannah, despite having her own contractions and her water breaking, has to deliver that baby while hers is on the way.
“Not only is there a life-threatening event that’s happening around her that she needs to make sure that her patients aren’t aware of. To be honest, she needs to be the one that constantly is putting them in a safe space so that this new baby can happen,” Schram tells Parade in this exclusive interview. “She’s concerned, and she’s great at masking it, I would say. She very much lets her adrenaline take over. I think that in surgeries and when she’s doing her job, she is the best she can possibly be.”
But her own contractions are getting painful even as she wants to do her best to help the mother-to-be, so Hannah has to compartmentalize and try not to think about the fact that she’s in active labor.
“Back in the day, Hannah was working when she was actually still on drugs. And she was an active addict, so she’s definitely acted her way through many things,” Schram continues. “But this is one where, physically, it gets to a point where she can’t act through it anymore; it’s taking her out no matter what. So, we’re definitely coming into this finale, not at a crossroads; this is happening, and there is also no way that she can’t be in the scenario that she’s in and help this woman. I will say that the birth is not easy; it does not go as planned. There are issues that happen. So I think the road bumps are stacked very high, there’s a lot of detours along the way.”
As shown in the promo, Hannah winds up in the delivery bed herself, and it is no secret that she’s had issues with Dr. Vera Lovell (Abby Corrigan), who has a completely different approach to patient care than Hannah, but was hired to be her replacement while Hannah’s on maternity leave. It also doesn’t help that Hannah’s own mother died while giving birth to her, so she has that fear as well, which she hasn’t really shared. It’s the old story of doctors make the worst patients.
“[Hannah] is not somebody that easily trusts, and she definitely is not trusting Lovell very easily either,” Schram says. “She very much wants to have a hand in what’s going on. I think that she’s also naturally trying to be in charge, but also putting on a face to make sure that she’s in charge and doing everything she can to keep her fears down. I think she doesn’t want to be vulnerable in this moment because the second that she puts her walls down, anything can happen. She’s on high alert during the whole thing, and she’s not an easy patient at first, by any means.”
Oliver Platt as Dr. Daniel CharlesPhoto by: George Burns Jr/NBC
Also in the Season 11 finale, Dr. Daniel Charles (Oliver Platt) is in jeopardy of losing his job to Dr. Theo Rabari (Manish Dayal), whom he discovered in the penultimate episode has an antisocial personality disorder (sociopathy) diagnosis. Still, board member Miranda (Clare Holman) wants to oust Daniel and install Theo in his position in psychiatry, possibly because Theo’s numbers are better, and Theo is ignoring the fact that Daniel has tried to help his career, and he’s going along with the program.
Related: Chicago Med’s Dr. Charles’s Life Is on the Line When He Undergoes Surgery for a Stroke (Exclusive)
“Because he’s a sociopath, he doesn’t even look at it that way,” showrunner Allen MacDonald tells Parade. “It’s an opportunity, I take it. He doesn’t even experience the complication; the guilt has to be pointed out to him.”
The question is, will Daniel use his knowledge to fight dirty to keep his job? He is extremely ethical, and if he did reveal what he knows about Theo, it would not only be against HIPAA regulations but also his own beliefs. That said, the aftereffects of the stroke he had have let him know he really wants to continue his work at Gaffney.
“I think Charles is conflicted for two reasons,” MacDonald teases. “One, he built this department. He’s not going to sit around and let anybody else ruin his legacy or try to pawn off his legacy as their own, so he’s not going to let that happen, he wants to fight. But how he fights is very complicated for him, because the easiest thing to do is to exploit the sociopathy as a weapon to destroy Dr. Theo Rabari’s career. He feels that would be deeply hypocritical of him when he’s worked so long to destigmatize those kinds of diagnoses as being a negative when they don’t have to be.”
Sarah Ramos as Dr. Caitlin LenoxPhoto by: Lori Allen/NBC
The season finale also follows up on the slip made by Caitlin Lenox (Sarah Ramos) last week when she told Mitch Ripley (Luke Mitchell) in the heat of an argument that she loved him. So, will she now push him away?
“Well, I think that this is the big new level of trust for Lenox, a new level of vulnerability that she’s not used to,” MacDonald says. “This is something she’s always tried to avoid, letting people in, because it got in the way of achieving and succeeding as a doctor. Because she never knew whether or not she had prion, but she knew it was a possibility, and she wanted to make sure that she did as much as she could career-wise with whatever time she had.”
But when her brother was ill, in order to get him to take the prion test to prove to him that he had something to live for, Lenox took the test with him. Her brother tested negative, and she tested positive, but she lied about it. But having the diagnosis confirmed has changed how she lives her life. At least, so far.
“Now she knows that she has prion, and that has changed her attitude towards it, and she’s trying, in her way, to deal with that,” McDonald says.. There’s been a lot of self-destructive behavior this season because of it, and that’s why we thought Ripley would be a good character to match her up with this season, because he was going down a self-destructive path himself last season and had come out of it. And so, I think that them together is very healthy, especially for her. I think that we will continue to see more of them together next season, but I think the prion is always going to be there.”
Chicago Med airs its 11th season finale tonight at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. Streams next day on Peacock.

‘Dynasty’ Legend, 92, Channels Alexis Carrington at Cannes
Joan Collins brought full Alexis Carrington glamour to the 2026 Cannes Film Festival red carpet this week.
The Dynasty legend, who turns 93 on May 23, arrived Tuesday, May 12, for the opening ceremony of the 79th Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France wearing a dramatic white gown with oversized sculptural ruffles, long black gloves and dazzling diamond jewelry.
As photographers crowded the famous Cannes red carpet, Collins posed confidently in the eye-catching look, which instantly reminded many fans of the luxurious style made famous by her iconic Dynasty character Alexis Carrington during the 1980s.

The actress completed the look with sparkling chandelier earrings, a diamond necklace and bold glam makeup, while her signature dark updo added even more old Hollywood drama to the appearance.
Collins attended the opening ceremony and screening of La Vénus Electrique (The Electric Kiss), a French romantic comedy directed by Pierre Salvadori that was chosen to launch this year’s festival. The 79th Cannes Film Festival also welcomed stars including Jane Fonda, Demi Moore, Bella Hadid, Eva Longoria and jury president Park Chan-wook.
The legendary actress has remained a red carpet fixture well into her 90s while continuing to work steadily in film and television. Collins recently appeared in The Gentle Sex and is also attached to the upcoming film My Duchess, in which she portrays Wallis Simpson.
Simpson was the American socialite whose relationship with King Edward VIII triggered one of the biggest royal scandals of the 20th century. Edward ultimately abdicated the British throne in order to marry her in 1937, paving the way for his younger brother, George VI, to become king and eventually for George’s daughter, Queen Elizabeth II, to ascend to the throne.
Ahead of Cannes, Collins also spoke with Deadline about preparing for the festival’s famous red carpet. “I thought I want to just be able to get on the red carpet and not be a lump,” she joked, revealing she had been taking dance lessons before the event. Collins also reflected on her long career, telling the outlet, “I don’t consider myself a film star. I consider myself a working actress.”
Best known worldwide for her role as the ruthless and glamorous Alexis Carrington on Dynasty, Collins became one of television’s defining stars during the show’s peak in the 1980s. Her performance earned her a Golden Globe Award and helped transform Alexis into one of the most recognizable characters in TV history.
Even decades later, Collins still knows exactly how to command a red carpet entrance, especially at an event as famously glamorous as Cannes.

Jewelry has long been tied to moments people want to remember. A bracelet gifted at a bridal shower, a necklace given for a birthday, a pair of earrings to mark a first job or a move to a new city — these pieces carry meaning far beyond their material value. They're small, wearable markers of time, tied to milestones that shape a life. The tradition fits especially well with the upcoming graduation season, when loved ones come together to celebrate years of hard work, change, and growth.
For someone stepping into their next chapter, the U7 Sterling Silver Open Initial Ring at Walmart offers a simple, personal way to mark the occasion. Usually $38, it's now on sale for just $28. The design features a clean, minimal band with a single letter detail. And for just $4 more, you can opt to have it come pre-wrapped in a gift bag.
U7 Sterling Silver Open Initial Ring, From $28 (was $38) at Walmart Shop at WalmartMade from sterling silver, this ring features an open-band silhouette that curves smoothly around the finger and flows directly into an italic-style initial, making the letter itself feel integrated into the structure rather than simply placed on top. The lettering has a fluid, almost handwritten appearance, with curved lines and subtle twists that give each initial an artistic, dimensional look.
Available in every letter from A through Z, the piece can represent anything from your own initials to a partner, child, friend, or meaningful word when stacked together with multiple of the same ring across fingers. Adjustable, open construction allows it to comfortably fit sizes 6 through 12 with slight manual adjustment, which makes it especially helpful for gifting since you don’t have to know an exact ring size or which finger the recipient prefers to wear it on.
Because it’s made from hypoallergenic sterling silver that’s nickel-safe, lead-safe, and cadmium-compliant, it’s especially suited for sensitive skin and daily wear without the worry of discoloration or irritation. The delicate scale of this ring means it looks just as good with casual everyday outfits like denim and knits as it does paired with more formal attire for dinners, celebrations, or special occasions.

1973 Hit Horror Film, Whose Production Nearly Killed a ’70s Icon, Ranked Among Best Movies of All Time
In 1973, the psychological horror-thriller film Don’t Look Now captured viewers’ attention by delivering remarkable cinematography, an impeccable cast ensemble and an unconventional plot.
Despite failing to score a box office hit at the time of its release, the Nicolas Roeg-directed film is now ranked as one of the “best movies of all time.”
In a list shared by Time Out, the publication ranked the top 100 movies that they believe best meet its criteria including the quality of storytelling and screenplay, as well as the timeless impact it continues to hold even years or decades after its release.
Securing the 98th place, Don’t Look Now was selected among cinema’s finest achievements due to the haunting ambiance it created around Daphne du Maurier’s story.
Based on the 1971 short story by the acclaimed author, Roeg's filmmaking techniques made viewers feel an eerie supernatural atmosphere, with Time Out describing it as a “primal cry of grief that shakes you to the core.”
Don’t Look Now follows the story of architectural historian John Baxter, played by Donald Sutherland, whose character experiences strange premonitions.

Along with his wife, Laura Baxter, portrayed by actress Julie Christie, the couple moves to Venice, Italy, after John accepts an architectural commission to restore an old church.
This is also their way of slowly moving forward after the tragic death of their young daughter.
However, in hopes of starting anew and rebuilding their lives, they become entangled with two elderly sisters who claim to be in contact with their deceased child.
As mentioned, the movie didn't achieve major commercial success but earned multiple nominations during the 1974 British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA), which included Best Film, Best Direction for Nicolas Roeg, Best Leading Actor for Donald Sutherland, Best Leading Actress for Julie Christie, Best Film Editing and Best Sound Track and it won Best Cinematography.
Amid the critical acclaim, Don’t Look Now also faced a serious setback when one of its lead stars nearly experienced a fatal accident during filming.
Due to the limited budget, Donald Sutherland reportedly performed his own stunt in a dangerous sequence.
The scene shows his character suspended high above the church floor after the scaffolding collapsed.
Sutherland, who was held aloft by a single thin wire, nearly fell to his death with heavy wooden planks crashing down around him as he hung in midair.
Thankfully, the crew acted fast and was able to lower him to the ground safely just before the wire failed completely.
The director decided to include the take in the final cut after capturing the genuine terror of the lead actor’s reaction, adding immense tension to the scene.

'Bewitched' Star Erin Murphy Says On-Screen Mom 'Wasn't as Soft and Kind' as Her TV Counterpart
Nowadays, Elizabeth Montgomery might be remembered as one of TV's most beloved on-screen moms from her starring role on Bewitched, but former child actress Erin Murphy has recently revealed there was far more to the sitcom icon that met the eye.
In a recent interview with The Magnificent Others podcast, the 61-year-old Murphy shared her personal experiences working with Montgomery, the latter of whom famously starred in ABC's Bewitched from 1964 up to 1972.
"She was nothing like Samantha," Murphy revealed. "Just like in a weird way, Lucille Ball was not I Love Lucy, even though that's who we love and that's what we kind of want them to be. She was a businesswoman. Liz and Lucy were businesswomen actively involved with the production of their show."
Observing Montgomery's active participation on the show, Murphy went on to say she initially perceived the actress as a stay-at-home mom, slowly realizing over time how much work Montgomery put in to the show's success.
"I spent a lot of my life thinking, 'Well, I wanna be a stay-at-home mom because my two biggest role models, my mom and Elizabeth Montgomery, were stay-at-home moms.' It took maybe being a teenager to a young adult to realize Elizabeth Montgomery was the furthest thing from a stay-at-home mom," she said.
As for the particulars surrounding Montgomery's actual personality, Murphy shared that there was much more to the actress than most people might have expected, with Murphy herself still wondering about her former co-star's personal and professional life.
"It's like I saw her as kind of it's like how you see your mom, and they look different at home than maybe when they go out to dinner with somebody," Murphy said. "So I saw her as that. I also saw her side where, she wasn't necessarily as soft and kind as Samantha."
"She was a businesswoman and she was serious and definitely had that side," the actress continued. "She was also, and I've said this, she had a very dirty sense of humor, and so do I. I know I got that from her. She was a guy's girl."

I wanted a true side-by-side comparison, so I tested every bag using the exact same packing list (a.k.a. my travel capsule wardrobe) using the built-in zippered compression cube on one side, 3 pairs of jeans, 3 cashmere sweaters, 1 thin black cardigan, 1 sweater dress, 1 silk dress, 2 skirts, 1 buttondown, rolled, a pair of flat leather loafers, a windbreaker, a captain's blazer, folded, a pair of wedges for nighttime, and in another compression cube, a rugby shirt, a breton shirt, PJs, and assorted four-days worth of tanks, underwear and tights. I typically keep my accessories in my personal item for easy access during security screenings, so that's pretty much all I packed.
I tested them using a variety of modern packing strategies—from the rolling method to high-density compression—to see which shell actually handles the "overpacker" struggle best.
The TLDR Version- Best for the "Style & Safety" Combo:BÉIS The Carry-On Roller (Because it looks expensive on your feed and literally tells you if you’re about to hit that 50lb weight limit.)
- Best for the Quiet Professional:July Carry-On (The wheels are so silent you won’t wake the whole terminal, plus the shell is basically indestructible.)
- Best "Stealth Wealth" Steal:Quince Small Carry-On (It feels and glides like a $400 bag but costs less than a nice dinner out. Also, it somehow fits everything.)
- Best "Buy It Once" Workhorse:Away The Carry-On (The classic for a reason. It’s the reliable best friend that will still be in your closet 10 years from now.)
- Best for the Smooth Operator:Travelpro Platinum EliteCarry-On Spinner (If you’ve ever fought a suitcase on a carpeted airport floor, these magnetic wheels will change your life. It practically drives itself.)

Price: $285; Interior Dimensions: 21" H x 14.5" W x 9.8" D; Capacity: 49 - 61 L; The User Verdict: "This carry-on is without doubt the best one I have owned. The empty weight is great, so adding contents still keeps the weight manageable." -Jane P
Editor's Verdict:
- The Pros: This is the ultimate bag for the "maximalist" traveler. The SKIMS-inspired colorways look incredibly high-end at the gate. The built-in weight indicator is pure genius—a small window by the handle turns red if you’re over 50 lbs, which is a total anxiety-saver. Inside, the compression system is robust, and the mesh pockets are backed by a high-end material that doesn't snag your delicate knits. The cushioned handle was the comfiest of all bags tested.
- The Cons: Because the shell is so sleek and matte, it does tend to show its "travel battle scars" (like scuffs from gate-checking) more than a textured bag. Additionally, the flexible zipper tape—which is great for adding "give" when overpacking—makes it a little unweildy when handling and can require a bit more guidance to pull around the corners if the bag is fully packed.
- Best For: This is for the style-conscious traveler who wants a sturdy bag but needs a little help keeping their packing weight in check. It’s the ultimate choice for longer trips because it adds the most interior volume when expanded, and that built-in weight indicator is a total game-changer for avoiding gate-side anxiety. Plus, the retractable bag strap is a lifesaver for hands-free navigating if you want to look effortless in your airport 'fit photos—or brought home an extra shopping bag or two.

2. July: Carry-OnJuly
View the 2 images of this gallery on the original articleThe Viral Cred: Winner of Men’s Journal 2026 Travel Awards; many accolades on Travel + Leisure and CNN Underscored for its SilentMove wheels.
Price: $325; Interior Dimensions: 20" H x 14.5" W x 8.5" D; Capacity: 42 L; The User Verdict: "So convenient for long haul journeys. Has everything I needed and will be travelling with me everywhere" —Julianna I.
- The Pros: If you hate the "clack-clack" of luggage on airport tile, this is your bag. The SilentMove wheels are arguably the quietest on the market. The shell is reinforced with aerospace-grade German polycarbonate and feels exceptionally sturdy. The internal compression system features a thick, leather-trimmed strap that allows you to really crank down on your clothes. The detachable battery is also a powerhouse for long travel days.
- The Cons: The focus on that indestructible hard shell does eat into the interior depth slightly, so you have to be a bit more strategic with bulky layers like blazers. Also, while the beautiful off-white interior fabric is a style win, it does require a bit more maintenance to stay pristine compared to darker linings.
- Editor’s Verdict: This is the bag you want when you know you have a massive terminal trek ahead of you, from the far ends of the parking lot to a distant gate. Because the shell is so exceptionally sturdy and the top is flat, it acts like a personal ballast, keeping your heavy tote or backpack perfectly secured so you aren't physically hauling all that weight yourself. It’s a total lifesaver during layovers or terminal train transfers, taking the burden off your shoulders and letting the bag do the heavy lifting for you.

3. Quince: Small Carry-OnQuince
View the 2 images of this gallery on the original articleThe Viral Cred: Found to be very similar to Away by sites like Business Insider for offering $400 features (like Hinomoto wheels) for just $140.
Price: $139.90; Dimensions: 20.24” x 13.5" (Expandable); Capacity: ~40 L; The User Verdict: “This is a simple, lightweight little carry-on with a well-designed interior,” writes Quince reviewer Pamela A. “It accommodates a surprising amount of stuff and is so easy to maneuver through an airport (and to swing up into that overhead compartment). Perfect for my travel needs!”
- The Pros: This is my "stealth wealth" pick. It features Hinomoto magnetic wheels that glide so effortlessly they almost feel like they’re hovering. In a shocking twist, this "small" version fit the most out of the group, stashing my blazer and shoes without me even having to sit on the case to close it or use the expanded inches. The forest green matte finish is gorgeous and hides dirt perfectly.
- The Cons: To achieve that incredibly lightweight "glide," the shell is designed to be more flexible than some of its heavier counterparts. While this makes it a dream to lift into overhead bins, it may feel a bit more "bouncy" to travelers used to a rigid, heavy-duty case.
- Editor’s Verdict: The Quince Carry-On Suitcase is the absolute best value on the market for people who want a polished, minimalist look without the premium price tag. It is my personal go-to for seven-day trips or cruises because it fits an incredible amount, yet remains fully checkable and overhead-bin compatible. While other bags are great for weekends, I grab this when I need to stuff in everything—and still have room for souvenirs thanks to the expandable zipper.

Price: $275; Interior Dimensions: D 20.1" x 13.9" x 7.5"; Capacity: 41 L; The User Verdict: "I've been using a semi-broken carry-on for a number of years, so this upgrade was long overdue. I love the smooth wheels, thoughtful interior, and beautiful color." — Alison C.
- The Pros: This is the reliable workhorse. The matte polycarbonate shell is nearly indestructible and does a fantastic job of hiding scratches. The internal organization is the gold standard—the mesh divider is taut and high-quality and helps compress an inordinate amount in such a tight space, and the 5-year warranty gives you incredible peace of mind. It’s a design that has truly stood the test of time. An incredible value—you get the highest quality carry-on at a reasonable price.
- The Cons: Its massive popularity means you’ll definitely want a unique luggage tag to avoid "bag-twins" at the gate. From a performance standpoint, the wheels are solid and reliable, though they don't quite have that same "weightless" feel of magnetic wheels when transitioning from tile to thick carpeting.
- Editor’s Verdict: This is the reliable "forever" bag for the traveler who wants a classic design that simply never fails. It’s my top pick for quick 2-to-3-day city sprints where you need a bag that’s sleek, holds exactly what you need, and can handle urban pavements as easily as airport terminals. It’s a "set it and forget it" investment that looks as good on its 100th trip as it did on its first.

- The Pros: This bag is all about the PrecisionGlide system. It features self-aligning magnetic wheels that ensure the bag always rolls straight—you can literally push it with a pinkie. I also love the "Dark Academia" vibe; the high-density fabric and chrome accents give it a preppy, quiet luxury look that is totally Instagrammable in a more mature way. The top-zip design with mid-way tie-downs is the most flexible when it comes to Jenga-style packing and is a major space-saver in tight hotel rooms. And it comes with its own garment bag—a secret space-saving hack even over compression cubes. And did I mention it has a power bank side pocket? Life saver.
- The Cons: If you are a die-hard devotee of the hard-shell "clamshell/butterfly" style, the soft-sided fabric might feel a bit traditional.
- Editor's Verdict: I can definitely see why this brand is a pilot favorite; the bag takes the physical stress out of a long travel day by gliding perfectly straight with zero resistance—even when you're rushing to a connection. It’s my top recommendation for city-hopping through Europe, where that signature smoothness is a total game-changer on uneven pavement. This is the bag for the traveler who wants a high-end, effortless experience that looks as polished and professional as it performs.

1966 No.1 Rock Classic, Ranked Among ‘Greatest Songs of All Time,’ Released 60 Years Ago Today
One of the Rolling Stones' most iconic tracks was released in the mid-1960s when guitarist Brian Jones grew restless. The legendary rock band would end up releasing an experimental track 60 years ago that would go down as one of the best songs ever created beyond the rock genre.
"Paint It Black" ranked in at No. 213 on Rolling Stone's list of the Greatest Songs of All Time, with its legacy seeped in its use of haunting sounds, unconventional instruments, and having an Indian, Middle Eastern, and Eastern European influence. Many critics called it a deviation from what the rock band was known for, but it topped the Billboard Hot 100 charts at No. 1 for 11 weeks and dominated the charts worldwide. It's even been tagged as a hit that helped shape rock 'n roll.
By the mid-'60s, the Rolling Stones were rising as a rock band rivaling the Beatles with hits like "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" and "Get Off of My Cloud." As Mick Jagger and Keith Richards became more prominent as the band's songwriters, Jones grew bored of trying to develop conventional guitar melodies while working on their Aftermath album.
Richards even recalls Jones having pretty much "given up the guitar by then." During an L.A. session, Jones started plucking a "haunting melody" on a sitar that would be the foundation of "Paint It Black." By 1966, the band had written the lyrics and the chord progression, but their album was delayed due to a media outlet revealing that the band planned to name the album Could You Walk on the Water?
Embroiled in controversy, the album was retitled and gave the band more time to work on the track, including "Paint It Black." Richards told Beat Instrumental magazine in 1966 that, "Our previous sessions have always been rush jobs. This time we were able to relax a little, take our time."
The track was later released as a single on May 13, 1966, to mixed reactions from critics. Some felt the Rolling Stones were trying to copy the Beatles, while others called the track one of the best uses of a sitar on a rock record. UltimateClassicRock called it a "major turning point in artistic evolution" for the band and rock's most "nihilistic" hit to date.
"Paint It Black" has since been covered by multiple artists and has become a rock staple. While appearing in multiple lists of the great songs to ever be released, it was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2018.

69 Years Ago, Elvis Presley Entered His Most Iconic Film Era and Delivered a Career-Defining Movie Moment
Sixty-nine years ago, Elvis Presley stepped into one of his most defining on-screen moments, starring in a film that would cement his status as a Hollywood icon.
Jailhouse Rock was a critical moment in Presley's film career. Principal production began on May 13, 1957, and the first segment filmed was the "Jailhouse Rock" number, as reported by Elvis Australia.
The website reported that before filming began, Presley began work on its soundtrack, heading to the studio on April 30, 1957. Subsequently, he began costume fittings, makeup tests, and dance rehearsals on May 6.
Jailhouse Rock was the entertainer's third film. His first two were Love Me Tender in 1956 and Loving You in 1957.

The film's storyline may have been unrealistic, but Presley's fans didn't care. He played Vince, a construction worker sentenced to jail after accidentally killing a man in a bar fight, becoming a singing sensation after his release.

Jailhouse Rock cemented itself into pop culture history when Vince danced among other prisoners to the film's namesake song. The moment has been called, per the official Graceland website, the first "music video."
The website explains, "Choreographer Alex Romero had originally planned for the scene to be full of smooth, Fred Astaire-type dancing, but of course, Elvis is Elvis, not Fred Astaire. He asked Elvis to perform a few songs as if he were performing on stage at a concert. After watching Elvis’ natural dance moves, he redesigned the entire number."

Presley suffered a serious injury while filming the segment, according to the official Graceland website. He managed to get a tooth cap lodged in his lung.
The entertainer was hospitalized so the issue could be surgically treated. The real-life health scare reportedly influenced the film’s ending, with Presley’s character suffering a throat injury as well.
The film also marked a major moment in Elvis Presley’s personal life, as it was during the production of Jailhouse Rock that his parents, Gladys and Vernon Presley, and grandmotherMinnie Mae Presley, moved into Graceland. The Memphis home would soon become forever linked to the Presley family legacy.
Jailhouse Rock would go on to gross almost $4M in the United States alone.

David Tennant Met His Wife Playing His 'Daughter' on 'Doctor Who' — Inside Their 18-Year Love Story
David Tennant met his wife, Georgia Tennant, on the set of Doctor Who, when he was the titular Tenth Doctor, and she was guest-starring as his genetically engineered daughter. At the time, Tennant was three years into his run on the BBC series and Georgia — whose father, Peter Davison, played the Fifth Doctor — “recognized” the “walls” he’d put up to cope with his sudden fame.
“You struggled with being able to walk into a room and having people know who you are and having a preconceived idea of who you are and sort of feeling like you needed to perform for them,” Georgia recalled during an April 2025 episode of David Tennant Does a Podcast With….
The two became “mates” before starting to date, and kept things “very private” in the early days of their romance. “I go, ‘Oh, I see what this person’s done. They’ve built a wall. I have to get in. But I’m going to have to close up behind me,’” Georgia explained.
These days, Tennant says he’s much more open and trusting than he was when they first met.
“That’s definitely in no small part because we’ve been together for 16 years, and that gives one great comfort and strength,” he said. “You’ve calmed me down, Georgia.”
Keep reading to learn more about David and Georgia Tennant’s relationship.
Who is David Tennant’s wife?Tennant has been married to fellow actor Georgia Tennant (née Moffett) since 2011.
While the Rivals actor notably stays off social media, Georgia is active on Instagram and often shares sweet tributes to her husband. For his birthday this year, she wrote, “55 years the world has been less sh-t because you’re in it (and considering how sh-t it currently is, it doesn’t bear thinking about). Thanks for living this long and making it all quite a bit nicer.”
View this post on Instagram How did David Tennant and his wife, Georgia Tennant, meet? The pair met in 2008, when Georgia guest-starred on Doctor Who as Jenny, the artificially created “daughter” of Tennant’s Tenth Doctor, in the episode “The Doctor’s Daughter.”
“I dine out on the sentence ‘he played my dad’, because it makes him feel old and it makes me feel young,’” Georgia has said.
For his part, Tennant has marveled at the fact that he wound up marrying a woman whose father also starred in Doctor Who.
“It is statistically quite unlikely,” he joked on The Graham Norton Show.

What is the age gap between David Tennant and his wife? The couple has a 13-year age gap. Tennant was born April 18, 1971, while Georgia was born Dec. 25, 1984.
Reflecting on the early days of their relationship, Georgia once joked, “I very much forced it into happening, didn't I?”
To which Tennant replied, “That makes it sound like I was resistant, which was not what happened. I thought we were an unlikely life partnership, I suppose. There is a bit of an age gap.”

What is David Tennant’s wife, Georgia Tennant, famous for?Georgia is an actress and producer whose roots in entertainment run deep: her father is Peter Davison, the fifth Time Lord in Doctor Who, and her mother, Sandra Dickinson, has appeared in shows like The Two Ronnies and Industry.
Georgia began acting as a child and built a steady career in British television with appearances on shows like The Bill, Casualty and Merlin. But her buzziest role came in 2008, when she guest-starred on Doctor Who as Jenny, the genetically engineered “daughter” of Tennant’s Tenth Doctor. The episode, fittingly titled “The Doctor’s Daughter,” is where the future couple first met.
Given her husband’s level of fame, Georgia has joked that she’s often positioned in relation to him, as the "wife of."
"I got introduced recently to somebody, and they said, ‘This is Georgia,’ and they were very lovely about me,” she recalled in an interview. “Then they said, ‘She’s not just David Tennant’s wife.’ It made me laugh so much because that is a lovely thing to say, but the sentence itself is quite loaded.”
Despite her husband's outsize fame, there’s no arguing that she’s a dazzling actress and producer in her own right. She and Tennant co-founded Tennant Productions and collaborated on the pandemic comedy Staged, in which she played a heightened version of herself opposite her husband and Michael Sheen. Around the same time, she also appeared in British comedy The Horne Section TV Show.

Do David Tennant and his wife have kids? They sure do! The couple share five children: Ty, 24, Olive, 15, Wilfred, 13, Doris, 10, and Birdie, 6. Georgia welcomed their eldest son, Ty, from a previous relationship when she was 16, but David adopted him after the couple married in 2011. (Ty has followed in his parents’ footsteps as an actor, appearing in projects including House of the Dragon and Doom Patrol.)
Thinking back on the early days of their relationship, Georgia remembers Ty taking a liking to Tennant almost immediately. “He loves you already because he's watched you on the tele; he’s got your face on his pants,” she said on David Tennant Does a Podcast With…. “So it was an easy sell. ‘Do you want a dad? How about this one?’ ‘Yes, please.’”
Because Georgia had already cared for an infant, Tennant said bringing home their firstborn daughter, Olive, wasn’t as scary as it could’ve been. “I was spared that absolutely terrifying thing of two people who’ve never done it before taking a little bundle home,” he said. “I had the advantage of your experience, I think, which I’ve always very heavily relied on.”
Both parents have been open over the years about the fact that their second born, Wilfred, is nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns.
“I want all my children to grow up in a world where they can be who they are, and evolve from who they are now to who they may end up being, without judgment or fear or attack,” Georgia has said.
She’s also opened up about the fact that her children are neurodiverse. “We've got a lot of neurodiverse kids so a couple of them don't like eating around other people,” she said on Russell Howard's Five Brilliant Things podcast. “They go and eat in separate rooms.”
Have David Tennant and his wife worked together since Doctor Who?Yes, they’ve collaborated a handful of times since then.
Their biggest project together has been Staged, the pandemic-era comedy in which they played exaggerated versions of themselves trying to rehearse a play over Zoom. Georgia not only appeared on the show but also served as an executive producer through the couple’s company, Tennant Productions.
They also worked together on the 2022 film You, Me and Him, which Georgia also produced, and on various Doctor Who-related audio projects.
"It’s not something we’d done a lot of, but then suddenly we’re locked in our house and if you’re going to make a TV show there are only the people next to you who you can make it with,” Tennant said of working together on Staged.
Earlier in their relationship, he added, they might have been reluctant to mix business with pleasure. But not so much these days. “We’ve been together a long time, we’ve got a billion kids. We’re more of a robust structure, so I don’t think we were quite so nervous as we once were."

Kate Middleton Set To Receive Italian Honor in First Overseas Trip Since Cancer Diagnosis
The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, is set to receive the city of Reggio Emilia’s highest honor for her dedicated work in promoting early years development.
The Princess is soon to embark on her first overseas trip since receiving cancer treatment. On this visit, the mother of three will be presented with the Primo Tricolore at the city’s town hall for her work supporting young people. According to The Independent, this trip marks a "really significant moment" following her recovery from cancer.
Kate will visit Reggio Emilia, near Bologna, for two days as part of her "global mission" to champion early childhood initiatives worldwide. She will be accompanied on this trip by Christian Guy, executive director of the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, with the message that early years development is as important a global issue as climate change.
Early years development has been part of the Princess's public work for over a decade, and she recently launched a new resource for professionals working with young children and their families.
During her time in Italy, she is expected to explore the Reggio Emilia Approach, a globally recognised teaching method pioneered in the Italian city. This philosophy emphasises the roles of parents, educators, and the environment in children's development.
The upcoming trip to Italy will act as Kate's first major international engagement since December 2022, when she travelled to Boston with the Prince of Wales for the Earthshot Prize award ceremony. She revealed at the start of last year that she was in remission following chemotherapy for an undisclosed form of cancer.
An aide for the royals highlighted the importance of this trip to The Independent. "Undoubtedly, this is a huge moment for the princess. Although there will be many highlights of 2026, I think this being her first official international visit, post her recovery, I think this is a really significant moment for her."
33 Years Ago Today, an Iconic Soap Opera Aired Its Final Episode After 14 Seasons
Thirty-three years ago today, the iconic primetime soap opera Knots Landing aired its final episode after 14 seasons on CBS.
The series finale, which aired on May 13, 1993, was a two-hour episode titled "Just Like Old Times."
In the finale, the core couples reunited—Karen (Michele Lee) and Mack (Kevin Dobson), and Val (Joan Van Ark) and Gary (Ted Shackelford)—for a barbecue, and Abby (Donna Mills) returned in the final moments. It neatly wrapped up conflicts (including Val coming back from the "dead"), and ended with Abby buying back her house and a newlywed couple moving into the Seaview Circle cul-de-sac.

Knots Landing, which aired from 1979 to 1993, was a spinoff of the soap opera Dallas, which also ran for 14 seasons from 1978 to 1991. Both Gary and Val's characters started on Dallas before moving to California to start over in Knots Landing.
However, the Knots Landing finale wasn't really the end. In 1997, a two-part miniseries called Knots Landing: Back to the Cul-de-Sac aired, followed by a 2005 special titled Knots Landing Reunion: Together Again.
In October 2025, Lee, now 83, appeared on the Still Here Hollywood Podcast, during which she made a confession about the long-running series.
"Knots Landing, the show, became less and less interesting to me," she admitted. "...Time went by, and it became more and more soap opera because they found soap operas were so strong at that time. It was difficult for me, it really was."
Still, Lee also acknowledged that the show gave her "wonderful opportunities."
"I was able to produce and direct some of the things off of Knots Landing. You know, once you're on a show that's successful, they promise you anything And if you ask, sometimes they give it to you."
For those who want to re-live the show, Knots Landing is available to stream for free on Tubi, The Roku Channel, and Plex.

5 Outdoor Furniture Trends That Will Dominate This Summer—and Beyond
Whether you live in a place with year-round warmth or are limited to a few short months, maximizing your time outdoors is key to truly getting the most out of your home. For Northern Virginia–based designer Lauren Wodicka, of LBW Studio, that comes in the form of her spacious, screened-in porch, which has been the family's favorite gathering place for the past 15 years. To create outdoor spaces with longevity, Wodicka prefers a restrained outdoor furniture design that puts the landscape on full display.
Salt Lake City designer Hillary W Taylor, of her eponymous firm, shares that mindset. "I love a pulled-together, classic design that doesn’t compete with the views. That’s really important to consider, along with the seating height and style and, of course, the garden."
Thankfully, this season's leading outdoor furniture "trends" are actually built to stand the test of time, so you can create a magical English garden aesthetic that feels as if it had always been there. We tapped these two leading designers to share their favorite pieces for this season, and many seasons to come.
1. Sectional SeatingAn avid gardener, Taylor loves sectional seating or curved benches that can be fully incorporated into a garden, taking into account the trees or the space under a pergola. She loves how flexibly these pieces fit into your landscape, instead of having to design everything around them. "I like spaces to be used, so if that requires 'rooms' created with pergolas or fire pits, so be it. But the garden should really be lived in," she notes.
"I think a cutting garden can feel like a room, especially when the beds are raised and laid out to really emphasize the beauty found in practicality."
With this in mind, she is also a huge fan of the Bastille side table from McKinnon and Harris—"a perfect drinks piece for anyone and anywhere, designed to pull up to almost anything."
2. Trellis BacksFor a full secret garden escape, Taylor can't get enough of trellis backs—"something that nods toward tuteurs for growing vines and climbing things, especially." For a more subtle take, she is loving the new Abbot dining chairs from McKinnon and Harris. The line features a Greek key back and an alluring Klismos shape. "It’s so chic, but could fit anywhere. It truly could make a dark corner magical," she adds.
3. Wicker FurnitureWhen it comes to outdoor furniture, wicker is never not on-trend. "Over time, the design has changed, but the outdoor wicker furniture has stayed. It’s built to last and stands the test of time," offers Wodicka. "I love mixing something more classic, like wicker furniture, with an unexpected coffee table that feels more modern."
Contemporary brands like Serena & Lily continue to create these timeless pieces, or you can easily reinvent vintage designs. Wodicka recently painted her porch a beautiful shade of green, adding green-and-white striped cushions and painting some of her prized wicker furniture green as well.
4. Unexpected Textile PatternsPerformance fabrics have come a long way in recent years, and Wodicka always brings her outdoor designs to life with vibrant textiles and patterns. This season, she is loving the outdoor fabric collection by Penny Morrison, whose designs borrow inspiration from East African spices and fruits, antique embroidery from the 1700s and folk artistry.
5. Architectural PlantersTo really finish your landscape design, Wodicka loves adding structure through boxwoods, Otto Luyken shrubs and ornamental flowers. Architectural planters can also help to create subtle division for outdoor vignettes that designate spaces to gather, sit down with a book, and relax.
"One brand that I think is crushing it right now that I recently discovered is Eastover Collection," she offers. "I think what they are doing with planters, and the ability to customize the design and color, is absolutely wonderful." The brand's designs exude timeless luxury, for a bespoke look suitable everywhere from a Nantucket seaside home to a Charlotte estate to a traditional English garden.

Disneyland Paris Just Opened Its First-Ever In-Park Lounge—and It’s a Belle Époque Dream
Disneyland Paris has officially entered its main character era. With the inauguration of Disney Adventure World on March 29, the resort effectively doubled its footprint, centering the expansion around a stunning, 118-foot North Mountain. But while the crowds are heading toward the snow and ice of Arendelle, I found myself drawn to the cozier, gold-lit magic of its new Regal View Lounge.
Located in the heart of the expansion, this isn't your typical theme park pit stop. Almost like an "if you know, you know" hideaway, the lounge seems to exist on a different timeline than the hustle outside—a place that reminds you it’s okay to slow down and just be in the story.
Here's why this new café feels like a private social club for royalty, and the refined detail that makes it the resort’s most impressive addition yet.

The Prelude to Adventure Signature cocktails served at The Regal View Lounge at Disney Adventure World, Disneyland Paris, FranceDisney
Stepping inside feels like slipping into turn-of-the-century Paris. The space is calm and quiet—mirroring a high-end Paris café, but with that quintessential "Disney magic" layered over the top.
With its deep, dark wood paneling and ornate gold fixtures, all set against a massive, stained-glass ceiling that filters the light into a warm glow, the design gives the space an immediate sense of history—as if it's been a fixture of Adventure Way for a century rather than just opening its doors. Throughout the space, dark blue velvet barrel chairs and Art Nouveau flourishes add warmth—a place designed for conversation, shared moments and time to slow down.
For those who look closer, the walls themselves are a tribute to the earliest Disney stories. The wallpaper features delicate trees inspired by the original 1959 Sleeping Beauty animation, and a hand-painted mosaic behind the bar serves as a stunning tribute to the iconic castle in the neighboring park. Even the ambience tells a story. The lounge features piano reprises of the Adventure Way theme composed by French composer Philippe Rombi, along with instrumental versions of Colors of the Wind and Once Upon a Dream.
Standing on the balcony as the sun hits Elsa’s Ice Palace, the name makes total sense. You aren’t just looking at a park; you’re experiencing what Michel den Dulk, VP at WDI, calls the "quintessential change" of the entire resort. It’s a shift toward stunning, expansive sightlines of Adventure Bay. "It is grand to see that view towards Frozen... something emotional that you experience while walking through these areas," den Dulk shared during the opening.

Parisian Café Culture, Poured by the GlassDisney
The attention to detail carries over to the menu, which features an exclusive Disneyland Paris Cuvée from the house of Pierre Mignon. This "Disney Champagne" serves as the base for a selection of elevated Kir Royales.
If you’re feeling adventurous, try the Majesté Florale—a mix of Hendrick’s Gin, jasmine and lychee that feels like a garden party in a glass. If you're feeling something stronger, Princely Eden (white rum and kombucha) or the Enchanted Carriage (apple juice, maple, and caramelized almonds) are "winter-chic" and cozy.
A mosaic of tea sandwiches are designed to complement the champagne, featuring smoked salmon on specialized sandwich bread, fish rillettes and cucumber with wasabi cream. Alongside these are caramelized puff pastries—light, buttery bites created specifically to pair with the seasonal Kir variations.
By leaning into these traditional French pairings, the space manages to feel both historic and magical—like a private social club the princesses would have claimed for themselves if they needed a place to talk shop over champagne, tucked away in their adventure gear.
It acts as an initial portal on Adventure Way, pulling you away from the everyday and toward the stories of Arendelle and the fairytales beyond. It’s the exact addition the park needed: a sophisticated storytelling space modeled on Paris’ own café culture.
The Ultimate "Kiss Goodnight"Disney
The real magic happens at nightfall. Dana Harrel, VP of Disney Live Entertainment, noted that the lounge offers the best "hidden" seat in the house for the new spectacular, Disney’s Cascade of Lights, Disney Adventure World's new nightly aquatic show that utilizes a fleet of specialized drones and 18-meter-high fountains to tell a surprisingly empowering story.
It’s designed to shift the focus from the characters on screen to the audience themselves, essentially acting as a visual reminder that you’re the hero of your own story. Compared to the first park’s castle show, the impact is equally emotional, but it feels inspiring rather than nostalgic.
"Let me tell you something: You have never been this close to a nighttime spectacular," Harrel told us. "The proximity is amazing... truly the 'kiss goodnight' that Adventure World deserves." Whether you’re a die-hard fan or a traveler looking for a sophisticated retreat, the Regal View Lounge is proof that the 'Disney difference' is at its best when it feels like a beautiful discovery—the kind of magic that is right there waiting for you, but feels entirely your own.
