Jerry O’Connell Addresses Brutal Breakup with Giuliana Rancic and Infidelity Claims
Celebrity relationships can often go down in flames, with actor Jerry O’Connell coming clean about his brutal breakup with Giuliana Rancic, and the supposed story she told in her memoir.
In a new episode of Kelly Ripa's Let’s Talk Off Camera, the TV host didn't hold back in getting the truth out of the Jerry Maguire star. The two began dating after meeting in a hotel in San Diego in 2003, and dated for roughly a year before calling it quits.
According to Rancic's 2015 memoir Going Off Script, their relationship turned sour when she believed the actor was cheating on her. She believed O'Connell was having an affair with Spice Girls singer Geri Halliwell, with the actor having reportedly admitted to it and was later forgiven. Despite reconciling, the relationship would come to an end once again when Rancic learned he was spending time with Rebecca Romijn.
The entertainment reporter detailed in her memoir that O'Connell broke off the relationship over his building intercom and said, "Nope, sorry, homegirl. Things change, but you take care, OK?"
Decades later, O'Connell admits that he doesn't “recall [his] exact wording” he used during the 2004 split.
“I can’t deny that I said that,” the 52-year-old star said. “It doesn’t sound like something I would say, but again, if I was writing a memoir, it made for a good quote.”
O'Connell also applauded Rancic for hacing use "colorful dialogue" in her book to create a more worthwhile read for fans. Despite not remembering how he broke up with Rancic, he does admit he was a "terrible" boyfriend to her during their relationship, and gave insight into what happened that day.
“[Another woman] was inside my condominium. … Giuliana Rancic wanted entry into my condominium. Thank goodness, buzzer, gate, security. I paid a pretty hefty homeowners’ fee for these things. Cameras and everything," he said, while adding that their relationship was already rocky.
“I said, ‘I did not know you were coming. You can’t come here unannounced.' Notice no one had a key, so the relationship was not like that. There was no warning, and I didn’t want someone coming in because I didn’t want any confrontation.”
Whether the woman in his condo was Halliwell or his now-wife, Romijn, he doesn't reveal any details. He did, in another part of the interview, praise Rancic for the "great" way she described the infidelity.
Following the breakup, O'Connell began dating Romijn in June 2004, after having met her at a Maxim Hot 100 pool party. Romijn was already separated from her then-husband, John Stamos, and in the process for divorce when she met O'Connell. The two later married in 2007 and welcomed twin daughters in 2008.
Iconic Novel, Published in 1959, Was Just Named the Most 'Perfectly Written' Horror Book
Horror fans can attest that not every book that evokes terror in its readers has well-written prose. However, Collider recently proved that there are beautifully crafted novels within the spooky genre by releasing a list of "10 horror books that are perfectly written."
The list, published on July 20, includes Our Share of Night by Mariana Enriquez, published in 2019, 2004's Let the Right One In by John Ajvide Lindqvist, 1987's Beloved by Toni Morrison, Stephen King's The Shining, published in 1977, and 1971's The Exorcist by William Peter Blatty. According to the publication, the horror book without any writing flaws is Shirley Jackson's acclaimed 1959 novel The Haunting of Hill House, which is about a mansion that's possibly affected by the supernatural.
The Haunting of Hill House holds a rating of 3.81 out of 5 from 416,080 readers on Goodreads.
Horror Director Mike Flanagan Discussed Adapting Shirley Jackson's 1959 Book in a 2018 InterviewJackson's 1959 book has had several film and TV adaptations, including Mike Flanagan's Netflix miniseries, The Haunting of Hill House, which is pretty lax in using the original text as inspiration. In a 2018 interview with SciFiNow, Flanagan explained why he chose to move away from the novel's original plot and have his mini-series be about siblings navigating grief after living in a haunted house.
He explained that while he was thrilled when he was approached to make a television adaptation, he didn't think he could improve on Robert Wise's take on Jackson's book, the 1963 film The Haunting.
"It’s such a landmark and had already been adapted so beautifully by Robert Wise that the pressure was definitely there from the get-go. The one thing I really didn’t want to do was to approach the material and even try to out-do what Robert Wise had accomplished with it," said Flanagan. "It had already been done so well that our only options were to try and do it again, which would inevitably draw less than fair levels of comparison, or to try and take some of the ideas and the characters and the style of Shirley and the way she tells a story and try to recontextualise it so we could still touch on some of the elements of the novel that I love so much and I think her fans love so much, but to approach it through a different prism."
Flanagan also told SciFiNow that he was nervous about turning the book into a miniseries.
"I view Shirley Jackson’s novel as essentially the quintessential haunted house novel. I think it’s the most iconic haunted house in literature and it’s influenced so many other things," said the director in the 2018 interview.

And since each table has two open tiers, you get extra storage wherever you need it without adding bulky furniture.
One shopper, who uses the pair as nightstands in a small bedroom, said they “look great.” They also said that assembly was “super easy,” taking only about 15 minutes, and the finished pieces felt “surprisingly sturdy and well made.” They went on to add, “These tables exceeded my expectations. The 11 Best French Groceries To Buy at Costco (and 3 To Skip)
Half the fun of a Costco run is wandering down the giant grocery aisles to see what kind of unexpected foods you can find tucked away. While most people pack their carts with cases of soda or bulk snacks, the real insiders know that Costco is actually a goldmine for incredible French food.
The warehouse is constantly stocking everything from authentic imported cheeses to traditional pantry biscuits and fresh bakery staples, frequently under its own high-quality Kirkland Signature label, and at prices that make hosting a weekend dinner party a breeze.
😋😋SIGN UP to get delicious recipes, handy kitchen hacks & more in our daily Pop Kitchen newsletter🍳🍔
But with so many giant boxes filling the warehouse, it can be tough to know what to add to your cart and what to pass on. While a lot of Costco's offerings taste amazing and are a steal for your next charcuterie board, there are always a few items that look great on the shelf but don't quite deliver when you get them home.
To help you build the perfect European-inspired shopping list, we dug into the inventory and looked at what shoppers are saying online. Here are the 11 best French groceries to load up on right now, and the three you're better off leaving behind on the shelf.
What French Products Do They Sell at Costco? You won’t find all the French items clustered together in a single international aisle at Costco. Instead, they're spread across the warehouse, making them a fun treasure hunt. In the refrigerated deli cases, you can reliably find imported soft cheeses, gourmet spreadable wedges and traditional European-style butter.
The dry grocery aisles are usually stocked with imported sweet biscuits, classic fruit preserves and packaged snacks. Meanwhile, the fresh bakery tables feature daily-baked pastries and rustic artisan breads.
Finally, if your warehouse has a liquor section, you'll frequently spot premium French-made spirits and highly rated regional wines too.

11 Best French Groceries at CostcoFrom crowd-pleasing party appetizers to authentic European pantry imports, these are the top French foods you should always add to your cart at Costco.
1. Kirkland Signature Imported French BrieThis massive 1.32-pound wheel of Brie is a staple if you're putting together a charcuterie board. Costco sources this Brie directly from the legendary Isigny Sainte-Mère cooperative in Normandy, France, so you're getting a genuine, high-quality import.
It has an incredibly rich, super-creamy texture and a mild, earthy flavor that gets perfectly gooey if you let it sit out at room temperature for a bit before serving.
Best of all, it's priced significantly lower than the tiny, basic wheels you find at grocery store cheese counters, making it a great option for entertaining.
2. Kirkland Signature Brut ChampagneIf you want authentic Champagne without spending a fortune, this bottle is an essential addition to your cart. Unlike cheap sparkling wines, this is a true Champagne produced entirely within France’s strict, legally designated Champagne region.
Wine enthusiasts online frequently point out that it easily competes with famous labels that cost considerably more. It features a bright and crisp acidity, fine bubbles, and a subtle hint of toasted brioche flavor. It's a crowd-pleaser for weekend brunch mimosas, holiday toasts or just a casual Friday night dinner.
3. St Michel La Grande Galette French Butter CookiesThese authentic cookies are a customer favorite, and it's easy to see why shoppers hoard them by the box. Made in France using a traditional 1905 recipe, these thick, golden cookies are crafted with non-GMO ingredients and real Guérande sea salt.
They have an incredible, satisfying crunch that melts away into a rich, sweet and subtly salty finish. They're perfect on their own with a morning coffee, but a popular trick is to crush them up to use as a gourmet base crust for pies and holiday cheesecakes.
4. Bonne Maman Fruit PreservesYou have probably seen these gingham-lidded jars at your local grocery stores, but the Costco multi-packs are the only way you should be buying them.
Made in France using a traditional recipe that prioritizes high fruit content and simple cane sugar over high-fructose corn syrup, these preserves taste like real, crushed fruit rather than sugary jelly.
They're incredibly versatile—obviously great on toast, but some shoppers also swirl them into yogurt or warm them up to glaze fruit tarts. Plus, the warehouse price per jar is often nearly half of what you would pay at a standard supermarket.
5. Kirkland Signature Bordeaux SuperieurThis bottle is a dream come true for anyone who loves an easy-drinking, classic red blend but hates spending a fortune on European wines.
Sourced directly from France, it features a smooth mix of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. It's medium-bodied with delicious notes of ripe dark berries, a little bit of plum and a nice, subtle touch of spice at the end.
Wine lovers online frequently rave about how well-balanced it is for the price, making it the perfect, low-stress bottle to crack open for a casual weeknight dinner or your next weekend pizza night.
6. Le Chic Patissier Macarons, 21-CountFound in the refrigerated or frozen section, this box is a lifesaver if you want a beautiful, colorful dessert without spending hours baking. It features an upscale, exclusive flavor collection with unique picks like Marie Antoinette black tea, raspberry lime mint and chocolate passion fruit.
They're gluten-free and have a fantastic, delicate meringue shell that gives way to a soft, flavorful ganache center. Pro tip: Let them sit out on the counter before serving so the filling can soften up to that perfect, chewy texture.
7. St. Môret French Style Crème CheeseThis recent arrival is a massive deal because it's officially France’s No. 1 spreadable cheese, and it just launched in the United States as a limited-time Costco exclusive. Sold in a convenient three-pack, it's a huge upgrade from regular brick cream cheese.
It's made with just four simple ingredients and zero preservatives, giving it an incredibly clean, fresh and slightly tangy flavor. Because it doesn't use heavy stabilizers, it's significantly smoother and easier to spread straight out of the fridge.
Shoppers are already obsessing over it as the best shortcut for elevating morning bagels, summer sandwiches or tomato crostini.
8. Kirkland Signature Butter CroissantsYou might be tempted to pass by these because they're baked locally rather than shipped over from France, but they're made using strict, traditional methods.
Costco actually overhauled its bakery recipe a few years back, switching from oil blends to 100 percent pure butter and a traditional laminated dough process. The result is an incredibly flaky, golden pastry with beautiful, airy layers that taste far better than other supermarket options.
At about $6 for a massive 12-pack, they're easily one of the greatest values in the entire store. Pro tip: Pop them in an air fryer or oven for just a couple of minutes to bring back that perfect, shattering bakery crust.
9. Boursin Gournay Cheese, Variety PackBoursin is an easy addition to any party spread, but buying those little wheels individually at a regular supermarket adds up fast. Costco solves that problem by offering a convenient, budget-friendly variety three-pack that includes the iconic Garlic & Fine Herbs flavor alongside a rotating seasonal choice.
Created in Normandy, France, this creamy cow's milk cheese has a distinctively crumbly yet spreadable texture that practically melts in your mouth. It's great on crackers, but it can also melt into hot pastas or be stirred into mashed potatoes for an instant gourmet upgrade.
10. Kirkland Signature BaguettesFound right on the bakery tables, this twin-pack of long, rustic loaves is easily one of the best bread deals in the store. Costco bakes these daily using an authentic natural starter and a traditional recipe that features a touch of buckwheat flour.
They have a wonderfully dense, chewy interior with plenty of classic air pockets, surrounded by a thick, extra-firm outer crust. While they can feel a bit hard right out of the sleeve, they're designed to be finished at home.
If the bread is starting to feel a little stale, splash a little water on the crust and toss the loaf into a 400°F oven for a few minutes to get that perfect, crackly French bakery texture.
11. Senoble French Crème BrûléeIf you want a truly elegant dessert without having to break out a kitchen torch, this imported glass-jar multi-pack is an incredible find. Imported from France, this traditional dessert features a remarkably rich, smooth vanilla bean custard base.
The pack comes with separate packets of brown sugar crystals, so you can handle the finishing touch yourself. Simply sprinkle the sugar over the top and pop the glass jars under your oven's broiler for a quick minute. You get that iconic, brittle caramelized sugar lid that cracks perfectly under a spoon, offering an effortless restaurant-quality dessert right at home.
3 French Groceries to SkipWhile these items are incredibly popular and convenient, they often fall a bit short when it comes to wholesale value or authentic texture.
1. Kirkland Signature French Roast K-CupsWhile French roast is a famous coffee style, these convenient single-serve pods don't actually come from France, and they're a frequent disappointment for coffee lovers.
Because a French roast requires an incredibly intense, prolonged dark roasting process, the delicate and unique flavors of the actual coffee beans get completely roasted out.
Some negative reviews on the Costco website frequently mention that the final cup ends up tasting heavily burnt and unpleasantly bitter. If you want a smooth morning brew that doesn't taste like charcoal, you're much better off grabbing one of Costco’s medium or light roast options instead.
2. Le Boulangère French Crêpes, Hazelnut ChocolateWhile these individually wrapped, rolled crêpes are a highly convenient addition to a school lunchbox or a quick on-the-go snack, they tend to disappoint anyone looking for an authentic Parisian pastry experience.
Because they're processed and packaged to remain completely shelf-stable for weeks at a time, the dough completely loses that light, airy and delicate texture you expect from a fresh crêpe.
Instead, eating them straight out of the wrapper can feel a bit dense, rubbery or unpleasantly dry. If you do happen to have a box in your pantry, you can greatly improve the texture by popping them into an air fryer or microwave for a few seconds to melt the chocolate filling and soften up the dough.
3. Grey Goose VodkaWhile this famously smooth vodka is a proud product of France, buying it at Costco is actually a massive missed opportunity for your wallet.
It's a perfectly fine spirit, but a huge chunk of that premium price tag is simply paying for luxury brand marketing. The better buy is sitting right next to it: the Kirkland Signature French Vodka.
Distilled five times in the exact same Cognac region of France and using identical regional water sources, Costco's store brand consistently ties or beats Grey Goose in blind taste tests, and it costs less than half the price for a massive 1.75-liter bottle.
Final TakeawaysPutting together a great French-inspired spread at Costco just comes down to choosing the right sections of the store. You can easily host a fantastic wine and cheese night or a weekend brunch on a budget with these French picks.
Look through the refrigerated cheese cases, the fresh bakery tables and the Kirkland Signature imports on your next Costco run. Grabbing staples like the imported Brie, fresh croissants and real fruit preserves ensures you get amazing flavor and a great deal every single time.

I Tried All of the Spindrift Sparkling Water Flavors and Ranked Them To Find the Best
If flavored sparkling water had a fan club, I'd happily volunteer as president. I've loved seltzer for as long as I can remember, and over the years it's gone from an occasional treat to a full-blown personality trait. Open my refrigerator on any given day and you'll probably find at least three different flavors all waiting to be cracked open for an afternoon pick me up.
Being Parade's resident sparkling water taste tester is a title I wear with an unreasonable amount of pride, and if there's a new seltzer on the market, chances are I've already tracked it down. But no brand has earned a more permanent spot in my refrigerator than Spindrift.
I first discovered its classic Lemon flavor years ago at Trader Joe's, and I've been hooked ever since. What immediately set it apart was how bright and natural it tasted. Unlike many sparkling waters that rely on natural or artificial flavorings alone, Spindrift uses real squeezed fruit juice to create each flavor. That simple difference gives every sip a freshness that's hard to find anywhere else.
It's also become one of those drinks I always notice at parties. There's something refreshing about reaching into a cooler and finding a Spindrift when you want something cold, crisp and flavorful without committing to a sugary soda or cocktail.
Lately, I've been amazed by how much the Spindrift lineup has grown. What started with a handful of classic citrus flavors now includes everything from nostalgic lemonades to fruit combinations and even cocktail-inspired creations. I couldn't resist putting all 20 flavors head to head to see which ones deserved a permanent spot in my fridge…and which ones fell flat.

What Makes Spindrift Different From Other Sparkling Waters?Walk down any sparkling water aisle and you'll see dozens of brands promising bold fruit flavor, but Spindrift stands out for one simple reason: it uses real squeezed fruit juice instead of relying only on natural flavors.
That means every can contains actual fruit juice, which gives the drinks a brighter, fresher flavor that's noticeably different from many competitors. Rather than tasting like fruit-flavored sparkling water, Spindrift tastes like sparkling water with real fruit added.
Because it's made with real juice, most flavors also contain a small amount of naturally occurring sugar and a few calories. While that's different from many zero-calorie sparkling waters, it's also what gives Spindrift its signature flavor and why so many fans are willing to trade a few calories for a much more authentic fruit taste.
Over the years, the lineup has expanded well beyond classic flavors to include lemonades, tropical blends and even cocktail-inspired varieties like Nojito and Cosno-politan, making Spindrift just as enjoyable on its own as it is mixed into cocktails and mocktails.

My Ranking Methodology (How I Tested Them)As Parade's resident sparkling waterenthusiast, I take these rankings pretty seriously.
To keep things as fair as possible, I tasted all 20 flavors over the course of a few hours to avoid getting sparkling water fatigue. Every can was served ice cold and judged using the same criteria: overall flavor, balance, how closely it tasted to the flavor listed on the can, refreshment factor and, most importantly, whether I'd actually buy it again.
Courtesy Jeanette Donnarumma
Some flavors earned an immediate spot on my grocery list. Others were fun to try once but probably won't be making a return appearance in my refrigerator. While taste is always subjective, I also considered which flavors would appeal to the widest audience and which ones best delivered on Spindrift's promise of sparkling water made with real fruit.

20 Spindrift Sparkling Water Flavors, Ranked From Worst to BestHere's which cans had fizz factor and which fell flat.
20. Pink LemonadeCourtesy Jeanette Donnarumma
I wanted to love this one because hearing 'pink lemonade' is immediately nostalgic, but it simply didn't deliver. The ingredients lead with cherry and lime juice before lemon, so instead of tasting like pink lemonade, it comes across as a muddled fruit blend. There was a lot of potential here, but it was my biggest disappointment of the bunch.
19. CosnopolitanCourtesy Jeanette Donnarumma
As someone who's enjoyed plenty of Cosmopolitans over the years, this one just missed the mark. Cranberry should be the star, but the flavor is surprisingly faint, leaving behind an earthy drink with just a hint of lime. Love the name, dislike the sip.
18. Blueberry LemonadeCourtesy Jeanette Donnarumma
The blueberry in this can ends up muddying the lemon instead of complementing it. I wanted a bright, tart lemonade with a pop of blueberry, but it tasted more like watered-down berry juice than lemonade. Not terrible, but definitely forgettable.
17. CherryCourtesy Jeanette Donnarumma
Cherry is one of my all-time favorite flavors, so I had high hopes for this one. It does taste like real cherry, not cough syrup, but it's so light that I kept wishing for more intensity and tartness. Beautiful color, but not enough flavor to earn a repeat purchase.
16. Tropical LemonadeCourtesy Jeanette Donnarumma
This is refreshing, but it never quite decides what it wants to be. It leans more toward watered-down tropical punch than lemonade, and with so many fruit flavors competing for attention, none of them really shine. At this point of the taste test, I'm realizing the big combo flavors don't shine as much as the singular.
15. Berry Belli-noCourtesy Jeanette Donnarumma
My husband took a sip of this one and said "the vibe is in the name...no-no". I love the idea of this mocktail, it should feel like a little celebration in a can. While the berry flavor is enjoyable, it's not really giving the complexity of the cocktail.
14. Island PunchCourtesy Jeanette Donnarumma
This one is definitely guava-forward, and I actually enjoyed it much more than Tropical Lemonade. It's bright, refreshing and tastes like a tropical vacation, but it didn't crack the top 10.
Related: How To Make Homemade Lemonade Taste 10x Better
13. Blood Orange TangerineCourtesy Jeanette Donnarumma
The flavor is fresh, citrusy and incredibly refreshing, but I couldn't get past the name. I expected a deeper blood orange flavor, and even richer color, but it mostly tastes like a really good orange sparkling water. Delicious? Absolutely. Just not quite giving 'blood' orange.
12. LimeCourtesy Jeanette Donnarumma
Lime is one of those classic sparkling water flavors that's always welcome in the cooler at a backyard barbecue. While I still prefer Spindrift's Lemon over Lime, this one is crisp, refreshing and would be fantastic with a splash of tequila for an easy sparkling margarita-inspired drink.
11. Ginger Lime MuleCourtesy Jeanette Donnarumma
This is easily the boldest flavor in the lineup. The ginger is front and center, giving it a tart, almost ginger beer-like profile that's definitely more grown-up than kid-friendly. I wouldn't reach for it every day, but I appreciate having something this unique in the lineup.
10. Strawberry LemonadeCourtesy Jeanette Donnarumma
This can is everything I wanted Pink Lemonade to be. The strawberries add just enough natural sweetness and pretty pink color, while the lemon keeps everything tart and refreshing. It's balanced, easy to drink and one I'd happily stock in my refrigerator.
9. NojitoCourtesy Jeanette Donnarumma
This sparkling can is the most refreshing can of the entire bunch. The mint really stands out without overpowering the citrus, creating something that genuinely tastes like a mojito, minus the rum. This daytime appropriate sip was satisfying, aka, I didn't miss the alcohol at all, although I certainly wouldn't complain about adding a splash at happy hour.
8. Mango OrangeCourtesy Jeanette Donnarumma
This blend works because it knows exactly what it wants to be. It's definitely mango-forward, with the orange adding brightness instead of competing for attention. The result is tropical, juicy and incredibly refreshing.
7. Fuji AppleCourtesy Jeanette Donnarumma
This one completely surprised me. It tastes distinctly like biting into a crisp Fuji apple, and the golden color even reminds me of a glass of Champagne. It's sweet without tasting sugary and is the grown-up version of an apple juice box.
6. GrapeadeCourtesy Jeanette Donnarumma
Grape can be a risky flavor because it often veers into children's cough syrup territory, but Spindrift absolutely nailed it. It tastes more like a crisp grape soda made with real fruit than artificial grape candy, making it one of the biggest surprises of the taste test.
5. Lemon LimeadeCourtesy Jeanette Donnarumma
I had never tried this one before, and now I'm wondering where it's been all my life. You get both the lemon and lime in equal measure, creating a bright, citrusy drink that's refreshing from the very first sip. This is one I'll absolutely be buying again.
4. PineappleCourtesy Jeanette Donnarumma
As a self-proclaimed pineapple girlie, I was excited to crack this one open, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The sweet tropical aroma hits you immediately, and the flavor is bright, juicy and genuinely tastes like fresh pineapple. Add a little paper umbrella, and you've got the perfect poolside bev.
3. GrapefruitCourtesy Jeanette Donnarumma
If I had to choose one classic sparkling water flavor, grapefruit would probably be it. This tastes like someone squeezed a fresh grapefruit straight into sparkling water, and the citrus flavor never feels shy. It's crisp, refreshing and exactly what I reach for on a hot summer day.
2. Yuzu MandarinCourtesy Jeanette Donnarumma
I'd heard so many people rave about this flavor before trying it, and now I completely understand why. The floral brightness of yuzu paired with sweet mandarin creates one of the most unique sparkling waters I've ever had. It's refreshing, sophisticated and practically begging to be served alongside sushi in the summertime.

The #1 Best Spindrift Flavor Overall: LemonCourtesy Jeanette Donnarumma
This is the flavor that made me fall in love with Spindrift in the first place, and after tasting all 20 cans, it still earns the top spot. The balance is what makes it so special: bright, tart lemon that tastes freshly squeezed, lively bubbles that never overpower the fruit and just enough natural sweetness to keep it from feeling too sharp.
It's incredibly refreshing on its own, but it's also the can I'd reach for to pair with dinner, pack in a cooler or even use as the base for a simple cocktail. Sometimes the simplest flavor is the hardest to get right, and Spindrift absolutely nailed it. Ten out of ten...no notes.

The Best Spindrift Flavors for Cocktails and MocktailsOne thing that became clear while I tasted my way through every Spindrift flavor is just how well many of them work as cocktail and mocktail mixers. Because they're made with real fruit juice instead of artificial flavorings, they add bright, natural fruit flavor without tasting overly sweet or syrupy.
Several flavors like grapefruit, pineapple and strawberry lemonade would be fantastic with vodka, tequila, gin or rum, while others like lime and cherry make a refreshing base for a mocktail with nothing more than maybe some fresh herbs and citrus.
Whether you're looking to lighten up a classic cocktail or simply elevate your sparkling water game, there's a Spindrift flavor for every occasion.

Final TakeawaysAfter tasting the 20 Spindrift flavors, one thing became obvious: this brand has earned its loyal following for a reason. Using real fruit juice instead of relying solely on flavorings creates a noticeably fresher, brighter sparkling water that stands out in an increasingly crowded category. While not every flavor was a winner for me, the best ones were some of the most refreshing sparkling waters I've had.
Whether you're looking for an everyday sparkling water, a healthy soda alternative or the perfect mixer for your next cocktail or mocktail, there's a good chance Spindrift has a flavor you'll love. And if you're anything like me, don't be surprised if your refrigerator suddenly starts looking a lot more colorful.

Who Won 'Jeopardy' Today? (July 20, 2026) Plus, the Final Jeopardy Answer
There are three things guaranteed in the world today: Death, taxes, and Jeopardy! being on. Believe it or not, the iconic game show has been on the air for over 60 years (though the modern incarnation we know and love technically debuted in 1984). Under the watchful eye of Ken Jennings (who himself was a record-breaking champion), Jeopardy! puts three people's trivia skills and reflexes to the ultimate test. It was a lock game for the new champ, who, even with a wrong answer in FJ, took the win, dropping down his $1,000 wager for a daily total of $23,000.
Groen knew it, too, turning over the reins and using his FJ answer to write a message to the victor: “What is... congrats Sam!! HBD!” After a 12-day run, Groen took home second place with $8,400.
Meanwhile, Chichilla, who ended DJ with $6,900, ended in third place with $0 after an incorrect FJ answer.

1970 Pop-Rock Hit, Born From Banging on a Piano Bench at a Party, Became a Billboard Smash
Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel's collaboration brought us some of the most introspective, heartbreaking, and thought-provoking music of our time. And still, the pair was able to whip up tunes with upbeat tempos that live rent-free in our heads. That is exactly what they did when they penned the 1970 pop-rock hit simply titled "Cecilia."
What caught listeners off guard most was the uncommon percussion it began with, which sounded like a rhythmic collection of slaps and claps. As it turns out, that is basically what it was, but how it ended up becoming the intro for a No. 4 Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper is far more interesting.
According to Far Out Magazine, the catchy intro began at a party attended by the prolific songwriters. A group of them created a rhythm by pounding a piano bench and a guitar body. Simon captured the musical banter on a recorder and found himself repeatedly returning to it.
“We were recording it on a portable recording device, […] and I listened to it back and I notice that something with the Nagra is causing the thing to have a slap back," Simon once said on The Howard Stern Show. "So if you go bop, it goes bop bop. Then I said, there’s about a minute and 15 seconds in there that’s really good. So we say to Roy Halee, who was our engineer, let’s take this minute and 15 seconds and make a loop of it.”
He later wrote lyrics around it, marking one of the first times Simon had written the music before the lyrics.
The Story Behind the Song "Cecilia"Whenever we hear a catchy tune, we obviously want to know the story behind it. Simon and Garfunkel's "Cecilia" is no different. The truth is, there is a bit of mystery shrouded around it. There are no exacting, clear definitions for who or what the song is about, but following it along lyrically, it seems to tell the story of a scorned lover who reunites with their partner.
Other interpretations, according to American Songwriter, say Simon's "Cecilia" reference is actually an homage to the Catholic St. Cecilia, who is the patron saint of musicians. In that light, it appears to represent his tumultuous relationship with songwriting itself.
On The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the host asked Simon rapid-fire questions about some of his more "confusing lyrics" and directly asked him about the part where he describes getting up to wash his face in "Cecilia."
“Well, it’s the ’60s, so I can’t remember,” joked the singer.
Country-Pop Sleeper Hit Is Closing In on Ella Langley on Billboard's Biggest Charts
Ella Langley has become country music's biggest breakout star of 2026, dominating Billboard with three songs in the top five of the Hot Country Songs chart while her crossover smash "Choosin' Texas" continues its remarkable run atop the Hot 100. But another rising singer is quietly putting together one of the summer's fastest-climbing chart runs.
Stella Lefty's breakout hit "Boston" has surged to a new peak of No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100, continuing a steady rise that began when it debuted at No. 95 in April. In just 14 weeks on the chart, the "country-pop sleeper," as NPR has named it, has transformed from a promising debut into one of the genre's biggest crossover success stories.
Related: Ella Langley Breaks a 49-Year-Old Billboard Record With No. 1 Hit Song
Its momentum extends well beyond the Hot 100. "Boston" currently sits at No. 5 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart, trailing only Langley's "Choosin' Texas" at No. 1, Taylor Swift's "I Knew It, I Knew You" at No. 2, Langley's "Be Her" at No. 3 and her Morgan Wallen duet "I Can't Love You Anymore" at No. 4.
Lefty's breakout is showing up across multiple Billboard rankings. Her EP Is This Heaven? is currently No. 30 on the Billboard 200, while she ranks No. 28 on the Billboard Artist 100. "Boston" has also climbed to No. 12 on Country Airplay and is beginning to find a wider audience after being promoted to contemporary hit radio, signaling that its crossover appeal continues to grow.
The song's radio momentum is growing as well. According to MusicRow's weekly radio newsletter, "Boston" posted the third-largest spin increase at country radio, adding 197 spins during the latest tracking week. Only Langley's "Loving Life Again" and Jelly Roll's "Hands Up" saw larger gains.
Related: Ella Langley’s New Hit Was Just Named One of the Best Songs of 2026—And It's Not "Choosin' Texas"
Released in February, "Boston" is an upbeat country-pop love song about unexpectedly letting down emotional walls. Anchored by its repeated refrain, "I like it when you're nice to me," the song follows a narrator who expected to run from a budding relationship before realizing she's ready to embrace it. The track also interpolates Noah Kahan's hit "Stick Season," earning Kahan a songwriting credit.
Earlier this month, NPR highlighted "Boston" as one of the songs most likely to continue climbing the Hot 100, calling it a "country-pop sleeper" and pointing to the staying power of recent word-of-mouth country hits. The outlet suggested the song has the ingredients to eventually crack the Billboard Top 10, which it almost has.
Billboard has been documenting Lefty's rise for months. When Is This Heaven? debuted at No. 9 on the Top Country Albums chart in May, Lefty became the first woman to earn an initial Top 10 on the chart in 2026. Billboard also noted that "Boston" reached the Hot Country Songs top four within seven weeks of Lefty's first chart appearance, placing her in rare company among recent female country artists.
Related: One of Country Music’s Most Emotional Voices Turns 67
Despite her growing success, Lefty says she's still looking up to one of the genre's biggest stars.
"I'm super inspired by Ella Langley, and the women in country right now are amazing, like Lainey Wilson, Megan Moroney," Lefty told Billboard. "They're all crushing, so it's crazy to even be anywhere near them."
As "Boston" continued climbing, she admitted seeing her name next to Langley's on the charts still feels surreal.

"It's an indescribable feeling to see my song on the chart, and what an honor to be next to names like the incomparable Ella Langley," Lefty told Billboard. "I really just make music that I want to listen to, and to see it resonate with so many other people is wild."
With "Boston" continuing to gain momentum on streaming, country radio and the Hot 100, the next Billboard chart update could determine whether Lefty's breakthrough hit becomes one of 2026's biggest crossover successes. Whether or not it reaches the Top 10, the song has already established Stella Lefty as one of country-pop's fastest-rising new artists.

She continued, playfully, “I could be a new one. Who knows? Like an animation. I would love to get into something animated.”

1977 Rock Classic, Once Spent 32 Weeks Charting, Became a Breakup Anthem
Forty-nine years ago, legendary '70s rock band Player released "Baby Come Back"—a generational hit that dominated the Billboard Hot 100 chart and became a breakup staple.
Released on October 13, 1977 as the lead single from their debut self-titled album, "Baby Come Back" was an instant success. Upon its arrival, the track climbed up the Hot 100, peaking at No. 1 on January 14, 1978 and holding the top position for three consecutive weeks. The song didn't stop its reign there, as it would remain on the chart for a staggering 32 weeks in total, becoming one of the longest-charting singles of the '70s.
Along with its unparalleled chart dominance, it also had major commercial triumph. By March 1978, the song had been certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for selling over 500,000 units in the U.S. alone. Since then, it has moved over an estimated 2 million copies worldwide—an incredible feat for a debut project.

Produced by Dennis Lambert and Brian Potter through RSO Records, "Baby Come Back" is an infectious yacht rock anthem. The song utilizes a breezy melody, slick electric guitar instrumentation and smooth vocal harmonies to create an earworm soft-rock sound that has been beloved for decades. Its upbeat, groovy sonic arrangement juxtaposed the song's yearning lyrics, making for an interesting and emotionally complex listening experience.
Written by band founders Peter Beckett and J.C. Crowley, the single was inspired by their own personal romantic breakups. In an interview with Gary James, Beckett reflected on the writing process of the track, noting how both artists collaborated equally to produce the beloved hit.
"I was married when I came out to America," Beckett said. "She couldn't take the L.A. thing and we got divorced during that period that led up to 'Baby Come Back'. Initially it started off being about that and Crowley had his own problems. He came up with the verse chord. I came up with the riff. We wrote the verses together. It was over a period of, I'll say days not weeks. It was definitely a 50/50 effort."
The song's lyrics touched on deeply relatable themes like regret and the desire to reconcile after a failed partnership. The heartbreaking words resonated with wide-ranging audiences, cementing it as a generational breakup classic.
Nearly five decades after its initial release, "Baby Come Back" remains a timeless rock staple. It has proven its unique ability to bridge the gaps between older and modern demographics through streaming platforms, with its Spotify stream count totaling over 395 million.

‘Friends’ Star Lauren Tom Reveals Her Daughter Is Facing a Devastating Cancer Battle
Lauren Tom, who played Julie on Friends, has announced that her daughter is fighting cancer.
Tom, 64, rose to notoriety in 1993's hit film The Joy Luck Club, based on the Amy Tan novel of the same name. But it was her role as Julie, the girlfriend of David Schwimmer's character Ross Geller on the beloved NBC series Friends, that catapulted her into comedy stardom. While Tom still acts onscreen frequently and has a major voice-over career, her message this week wasn't a joyful one.
In a new Instagram post, Tom shared that her daughter, Ellie, 25, has bone cancer.
"I wanted to share some tough news today…This is my beautiful daughter, Ellie. She is currently battling osteosarcoma (bone cancer) and my family and I are doing everything we can to aid in her healing. Tom went on to thank her friends and family, as well as their medical team at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, "for their ongoing boundless support, love, and care.
It is truly humbling to see how willing people are to reach out and help."
Along with a carousel of photos of her daughter, Tom called Ellie "an amazing, deep, sensitive, wise, strong, brave, intelligent, and funny soul. Beautiful inside and out. We have a long journey ahead of us.. would you be so kind to keep Ellie in your prayers for a complete recovery, and perhaps leave a comment for her here, or on her account? @eliatom_ Thank you so much for reading and for your support."

1978 Timeless Classic, Written by a 16-Year-Old, Became a Soft Rock Anthem
When Kate Bush released The Kick Inside in 1978, one of its most captivating songs had actually been written years earlier.
"The Saxophone Song" was penned when Bush was just 16 years old, making it one of the earliest compositions from the remarkable body of work that introduced her to the world. More than 45 years later, the dreamy ballad remains a favorite among longtime fans and a shining example of the songwriting maturity that made Bush one of music's most celebrated artists.
Bush wrote "The Saxophone Song" during a prolific creative period as a teenager, alongside several other songs that would eventually appear on The Kick Inside. Even before she had a recording contract, she was crafting sophisticated compositions that blended poetic imagery with melodies unlike anything else in popular music at the time.
"The Saxophone Song" showcases those qualities in abundance.
Built around gentle piano, lush instrumentation and Bush's unmistakable voice, the song paints an atmospheric portrait of longing and romantic idealism. Its flowing melody and emotional warmth helped it stand out on an album filled with future classics, revealing a songwriter whose artistic vision was already remarkably fully formed.
"I love saxophones so I wanted to write a song about them," Bush said in a 1980 interview with Sounds. "I think of a beautiful sax like a human being, a sensuous shining man being taken over by the instrument. The perfect setting was this smoky bar in Berlin with nobody listening except me in the corner."
Although it was never released as a single, the ballad has earned lasting appreciation over the decades.
Fans have long praised its rich arrangements and evocative lyrics, while critics have pointed to it as evidence of Bush's extraordinary talent at such a young age.
"I'd get up in the morning, practice scales at my piano, go off dancing, and then in the evening I'd come back and play the piano all night," Bush told VH1 of the hot summer of 1976. "I had all the windows open and I used to write until four in the morning. I got a letter of complaint from a neighbor who was basically saying, 'Shut up!' They got up at five to do shift work and my voice carried the length of the street."
The song also demonstrated the softer, more introspective side of her songwriting, balancing the theatrical energy of hits like "Wuthering Heights" with a more understated emotional depth.
The Kick Inside proved to be a landmark debut.
The album launched Bush to international fame, topped the U.K. charts, and established her as one of the most original voices of her generation. Its success paved the way for a career defined by fearless creativity and timeless songwriting, with Bush going on to influence countless artists across rock, pop, alternative and art music.
More than four decades after its release, "The Saxophone Song" continues to resonate with listeners through its graceful melody and heartfelt emotion. What began as the work of a gifted 16 year-old ultimately became a timeless soft rock favorite, offering an early glimpse of the extraordinary songwriter Kate Bush would soon become.

In the trailer, Amy and Tammy ring in the New Year with family and tackle New Year's resolutions. Amy and their brother, Chris Combs, hit the gym. Meanwhile, Amy announced, "I've started writing AI music."

Elsewhere in the trailer, Tammy went horseback riding with her then-girlfriend, Andrea Dalton, calling the experience a "dream come true."

Beloved TV Icon Reveals the Painful Words He Heard as a Child
Henry Winkler is known around the world as the beloved actor who brought Arthur "The Fonz" Fonzarelli to life on Happy Days.
But before he became a household name, he spent years struggling with something he didn't understand and feeling like he wasn't living up to his family's expectations.
During a conversation with Hoda Kotb on Joy 101 with Hoda Kotb, Winkler, 80, opened up about his childhood, his parents' experiences as immigrants from Nazi Germany, and the lasting impact of growing up with undiagnosed dyslexia.
Winkler explained that his parents left everything behind when they fled Nazi Germany and worked to build a new life for their family in the United States.
"My parents came from Nazi Germany. They left everything behind. They started a new life," Winkler shared. "A new language, a job. They gave us, my sister and I, a life."
But he said the trauma his parents carried with them affected the way they viewed his struggles as a child.
"Somewhere in that journey, their psyche was beaten to a pulp," Winkler said, describing the emotional damage they experienced after surviving such a difficult time.
The actor recalled feeling like he was constantly disappointing them, especially because he struggled in school. At the time, he did not know that dyslexia was the reason learning came so differently for him.
"They had no child vision. I was supposed to be. I was bred to be. I didn't. I was an embarrassment. I didn't do well in school," he said.
Winkler also shared one of the most painful memories from his childhood: a nickname his father used when frustrated with his academic struggles.
His father, who spoke 11 languages, did not understand that dyslexia could be hereditary or that his son's challenges were not a reflection of intelligence.
Winkler said his father told him he was a "dummer hund," a German phrase that translates to "dumb dog."
For years, Winkler believed those struggles meant something was wrong with him. Without a diagnosis, he said he developed a damaged sense of self.
"I had no sense of self," Winkler has previously shared about growing up with undiagnosed dyslexia.
As an adult, Winkler learned that his difficulties in school were connected to dyslexia, a diagnosis that helped him understand himself in a new way. He has since become a passionate advocate for children with learning differences, often speaking about the importance of recognizing when a child is struggling.
During his conversation, Winkler acknowledged the sacrifices his parents made and the challenges they endured, while also reflecting on what he wishes had been different.
"I take all of the total of the achievement and the courage and the pain of my parents," he said. "What I cannot abide is what I just said."
He explained that when a child is struggling, adults should look beyond the behavior and recognize that something deeper may be happening.
"You see the child in front of you," Winkler said. "You might not be able to define the problem, you might not be able to fix the problem, but you know there's a problem, and then you act accordingly."
Today, Winkler's story is a reminder of how much can change when children receive understanding instead of judgment. The actor who once felt like he wasn't enough went on to become one of Hollywood's most enduring and admired figures while using his own experience to help others feel seen.

Jason Bateman Was Once Arrested in Foreign Country Donning 'Little Leopard Outfit'
When your life is front and center on the world stage, it’s hard to keep secrets.
Actor Jason Bateman has never been one to shy away from the spotlight, starring in hits like Ozark and Arrested Development.
He recently pulled back the curtain on his own life on the SmartLess podcast, sharing a bizarre story that largely escaped U.S. headlines because it happened in a tiny country in the Mediterranean.

Before Ozark practically broke the internet, one of Bateman's biggest hits was TV series Arrested Development, though it turns out he had real-life experience 'in the clink', as Michael Scott would say.
Monaco is a map-dot country bordering the French Riviera known to draw many of the world's one-percenters who don't bat an eye at exorbitant prices — and it sounds like the Emmy-winning actor had a little too much fun abroad.
Per TMZ, he was cuffed for 'being drunk and disorderly'. The most surprising aspect however is what he was wearing, seeming to take a page out of The Hangover's playbook.
He didn't wake up with a new face tattoo, but he was decked out in a "nice little leopard outfit".
With Monaco being known for its flashy casinos and opulent splurges, the next tidbit he revealed wasn't all that surprising. He told SmartLess co-hosts Sean Hayes and Will Arnett that he was caught "all banged up" after downing Champagne, with his pockets stuffed full of casino chips.
No word on how much he was banking, but the bonkers story is worth every penny.
It's reported Bateman's next project is Clue, a film adaptation of the popular Hasbro board game co-starring Ryan Reynolds.
1974 Hit, Inspired by a Real-Life Breakup, Became a Timeless Soft Rock Classic
Given that '70s soft rock bands tended to produce breezy tunes, arguably best listened to on sunny days, it's understandable that this type of music is often synonymous with the summer. For instance, the publication American Songwriter recently released a list of "3 soft rock songs that defined summer for millions of Americans in 1974."
The list, published on July 18, featured the 1974 soft rock songs Chicago's "Call Me," America's "Tin Man," and “Another Park, Another Sunday”off the Doobie Brothers' fourth album, What Were Once Vices Are Now Habits.
While "Another Park, Another Sunday" is a quintessential easy-listening song, it does depict heartbreak following the end of a romance. In an interview with Songfacts, the band's singer, Tom Johnston, was asked, "Is 'Another Park, Another Sunday' based on events that happened to [him]?" Johnston confirmed that "Yeah, that was."
"That was based on breaking up with a girlfriend. And that's basically what that was all about. Including the park and all the rest of it," continued Johnston.
In addition, Johnston said that he thinks radio stations didn't play the song, which secured the number 32 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 the year it was released, because of some of its lyrics.
"You know, that was a single, and actually got put out, and was doing real well, and then it got yanked off the radio for the line, 'And the radio just seems to bring me down,' because the song being played reminded me of the girl. But radio took it as, 'Oh, yeah? The radio brings you down, huh? Well, guess what?' – yank," said Johnston, now 77, while speaking to Songfacts.
During the interview, Johnston shared that "Another Park, Another Sunday" was among several Doobie Brothers songs that didn't take him too much effort to write. According to Johnston, "Listen To The Music" (1972), "Greenwood Creek" (1971), "Growing A Little Each Day" (1971), and "Dark Eyed Cajun Woman" (1973) also "seemed to just come naturally."
"I always feel like I'm a conduit when things like that are going on. I'm just the one putting it down on paper and playing the chords. But wherever it's coming from was out of the ethersphere somewhere," explained the musician.
