Iconic '70s Singer, With Classic No. 1 Hit Song, Turns 78
Rock legend Steven Tyler is marking another year in a career packed with unforgettable hits. On Thursday, the rock icon turned 78.
Tyler, the legendary voice behind Aerosmith, rose to fame in the 1970s with a string of hard rock hits that helped define the era. Known for his electrifying stage presence and signature vocals, he quickly became one of the most iconic figures in rock music.
Despite the success, being in a band hasn't always been easy for Tyler. "Yes, I fight with [guitarist] Joe Perry, but when we get together in a room we write songs that have greased generations. 'Walk This Way,' 'Sweet Emotion,' 'Dream On,' 'Jaded'… there’s magic there," he told Louder.
While Aerosmith built its reputation on gritty, guitar-driven tracks, the band reached a new level of mainstream success decades later with "I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing." The power ballad, penned by songwriting legend Diane Warren, became the band's first and only No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, introducing their music to an even wider audience.
Released as part of the soundtrack for the blockbuster film Armageddon, the song showcased a softer, more emotional side of Tyler's voice. Its sweeping melody and heartfelt lyrics helped it become one of the most enduring love songs of the late '90s.
"With that kind of lyric, I mean, for a guy to sing that song — especially a badass like Steven Tyler — it becomes a whole other thing,” Warren told The Ringer. "It just makes it more compelling. That's what women never usually hear their boyfriends or husbands saying, right?"
Despite its release years after the band's early success, the track remains a defining moment in Tyler's career, bridging generations of fans and further solidifying his place in music history.
Beyond his work with Aerosmith, Tyler has also explored solo projects, television appearances, including a stint as a judge on American Idol, and collaborations, further expanding his influence in the entertainment world.
As Steven Tyler celebrates his birthday, his legacy as a '70s rock icon and the voice behind one of the most unforgettable No. 1 hits of all time continues to resonate.

Superman and Spider-Man Just Teamed Up for the First Time in 50 Years
The comic book industry reached a rare milestone on March 25, 2026. DC and Marvel set aside a decades-long rivalry to release Superman/Spider-Man #1, their first major crossover in years.
For many readers, the collaboration recalls an earlier era. Superman and Spider-Man first appeared together in 1976, in an oversized special that became a fixture for a generation of fans. That issue introduced the idea that heroes from separate universes could share a story without losing what made them distinct.
The new release builds on that basic 1976 idea. Written by Mark Waid, the story avoids the familiar 'hero versus hero' setup. Instead, Clark Kent and Peter Parker meet as reporters pursuing the same lead. The approach shifts the focus to character rather than conflict, emphasizing their shared instincts and sense of responsibility.
The book emphasizes optimism, intent on drawing from earlier comic eras without feeling dated. It treats both characters as working professionals first, superheroes second. The result is a story that feels grounded despite its scale.
Related: The New Spider-Man Trailer Just Made History. Here's Everything We Know About Brand New Day
Interest in the release quickly extended beyond comic shops. Readers circulated panels across social platforms, highlighting story points and even giving spoilers.
The collaboration also raises broader questions about the relationship between DC and Marvel. Crossovers between the two publishers have been rare, especially in recent decades as each has built its own film and media franchises. This project suggests at least some willingness to revisit shared storytelling, even if only in print.
For now, the focus remains on the comic itself. The story introduces a larger threat that requires both characters’ strengths, combining Superman’s power with Spider-Man’s technical skill. At the same time, it keeps attention on their everyday roles, which helps ground the narrative for readers who may not follow comics closely.
The release serves as a reminder of how enduring these characters are. They continue to adapt without losing their core appeal. For longtime readers, the crossover revisits a familiar idea. For newer audiences, it offers a straightforward entry point into two of the most recognizable figures in popular culture. (Special request to Marvel and DC: do a supervillain team-up next!)

Cheryl Hines Responds to Chelsea Handler's Claims That She and RFK Jr. Sold Her a 'Toxic' Home
Cheryl Hines is breaking her silence on recent comments made by Chelsea Handleralleging Hines and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. sold her a "toxic" home.
In a March 5 episode of her podcast, Dear Chelsea, Handler told her listeners that she purchased the couple's Los Angeles home in 2021.
“Just some background information: I bought RFK Jr.’s house in Los Angeles five years ago. I did not know I was buying it from him. It was anonymous," she said on her podcast. “I bought his house from him and Cheryl Hines. I still have not lived in this house. That’s how f***ed up this house was."
Handler then recalled what she was told after the property was inspected, "When they opened up the house, they were like, ‘This house is the most toxic environment. You cannot live here for at least two years,'" she said.
RELATED: Chelsea Handler Claims House Bought from RFK Jr. and Cheryl Hines Was a ‘Toxic’ Disaster
Hines shared her side of the story on Tomi Lahren's podcast, Tomi Lahren is Fearless, on Thursday, March 26. The podcast episode will release at 5 p.m. ET and in an exclusive clip released by People, Hines questions the timing of Handler's claims.
"Because she bought this house five years ago and she's just now complaining about it, which is also, I don't know that she's getting a lot of sympathy from people. She's buying a $6 million house," Hines says. "And talking about how she feels duped and that we tried to sell her a house that was, her word, ‘toxic,’ which also doesn't make sense."
Hines also said she thinks Handler's comments don't really "hold water" as she had reached out to Handler personally after the home had been purchased.
“I did write her a personal note when she moved in, just saying how much we love the house. And I hope that she has a beautiful life in this house. And if you need anything, call me. And I left my number,” Hines says. “So I don't know if we were trying to unload a toxic house on her. I wouldn't have left my number.”
Hines said she believes Handler is making these claims because she is "just trying to get attention" and that it's "probably fun for her to make fun of her husband."
“So, what are you going to do? She's trying to get a laugh, I guess, and some likes,” Hines concludes.
Handler had mentioned in an appearance onJimmy KimmelLive! on Wednesday, March 18 that she had only recently been able to move into the home.
“It took me four years to move in. There [were] a lot of problems with the house — I blame him," she said to Kimmel, in reference to RFK Jr. "And that didn’t get caught during inspection. And a lot of drama with the house. But I did just move in for the first time yesterday. So, I’m good."

Lucky Charms and Trix Are Getting a Major Shakeup This Summer With Two New Flavors
Cereal lovers, your summer breakfast lineup just got a serious upgrade.
General Mills is launching two brand-new cereal flavors this summer: Lucky Charms Unicorn Cotton Candy and Tropical Trix featuring Disney's Moana. The company announced the new additions on March 26 as part of its ongoing effort to remove certified colors from its entire U.S. cereal portfolio by summer 2026.
Lucky Charms Unicorn Cotton Candy brings a cotton candy-flavored twist to the classic cereal, complete with three new unicorn-shaped marshmallows. It's gluten-free, made with colors from natural sources and packed with 19 grams of whole grain plus vitamins and minerals. It's the first cotton candy entry in the Lucky Charms lineup, and honestly, it sounds like the kind of cereal you didn't know you needed.
Tropical Trix Is Giving 'Moana' VibesThe second new flavor leans into Disney territory. Tropical Trix featuring Disney's Moana is a fruit-forward cereal with tropical flavors inspired by the beloved franchise. The timing isn't a coincidence, either, with Disney's live-action Moana hitting theaters on July 10. Like its Lucky Charms counterpart, the cereal is made with colors from natural sources and provides vitamins, minerals and calcium.
Megan Brooks, Business Unit Director of Family Favorites Cereals at General Mills, said in a press release, "Whether it's discovering new ways to make the magic of Lucky Charms even more enchanting or bringing on-screen experiences to our cereal bowls, we're always looking for ways to make breakfast-time moments more memorable."
Brooks added that the cereals "showcase the kind of creativity fans love, while also reflecting the progress we're making to remove certified colors from our cereal portfolio."
General Mills' Push to Remove Artificial ColorsThese two launches are part of a bigger move from General Mills. The company has pledged to remove certified colors from its full U.S. retail portfolio by the end of 2027, and its cereal lineup is on track to hit that milestone even sooner, by this summer. It's a shift that parents and health-conscious shoppers have been asking for, and General Mills is clearly listening.
Both Lucky Charms Unicorn Cotton Candy and Tropical Trix will be available nationwide this summer. Keep an eye on your local cereal aisle, because these won't stay on shelves for long.

Olivia Munn’s Toddler Just Learned This Word, and Fans Can’t Stop Laughing
If there’s one word just about every toddler knows, it’s “No.” And now it seems like Olivia Munn’s one-year-old daughter, Mei, has gotten on the “no” bandwagon.
The actress and husband, comedian John Mulaney’s second child (the couple also has a son, Malcolm, who was born in 2021), is clearly in the fiercely independent stage that almost all toddlers go through. While it’s completely normal for a one or two-year-old to assert themselves, the development of autonomy, testing boundaries, and expressing their feelings through the use of new vocab isn’t always easy for parents to handle. So, when your kiddo shouts, “No!” you take a deep breath and realize that this phase may not end any time soon.
Even though Munn is a celeb who has starred in hits like X-Men: Apocalypse and Your Friends & Neighbors, she’s more than just a famous face. Munn is also a mom. That means she’s learning the same lessons that all of us regular, non-celeb mamas have to deal with, too.
View this post on InstagramIn an Instagram post, Munn wrote, “Out of all the books Mei found these.” What books is the mom-of-two referring to? Munn also shares a pic and a video to show fans exactly what is happening with her kiddo right now.
The first of two photos shows the actress holding her one-year-old while reading the children’s book No Is All I Know! by author Chris Grabenstein and illustrator Leo Espinosa. As most parents already know, it's a real page-turner that tots obviously enjoy. In a now-deleted video clip, the little girl hilariously repeats "No" as her mommy reads.
Munn also posts a second pic. This time she's reading the book No More Naps! (but the same author and illustrator). Yes, that’s pretty much every parent’s worst nightmare. The day when your little one finally rebels and says, “No” to that all-important mid-day break.
Fans and friends alike commented on Munn’s hilarious “No” post. One added, "A winning title. Runaway bestseller in toddler book clubs." Then there was this oh-too-real statement, “That 'No More Naps' book is really about how the parents get no more naps! Well worth it, though.” We couldn’t have said it better!
View this post on InstagramNo isn’t the only word Munn’s tot knows. Earlier this month, she posted another adorable video of herself and the 18-month-old, asking Mei, “Can you say, Olivia?” Okay, so that was a no-go—the toddler laughs instead of repeating her mother’s name. But she does get the hang of it, saying Malcolm (her older brother), Mei June, and Mama.
Fans Are Feeling 'Nostalgic' Over Megan Thee Stallion's 'Unhinged' Collab with This Iconic 2000s Group for the Return of Cheetos' Most Requested Flavor
There's nothing better than learning the lore behind our favorite food brands and what eventually brought them to life. Whether it's the narcotic-fueled backstory behind Coca-Cola or the health-obsessed antics of Dr. John Harvey Kellogg that bestowed Corn Flakes on the world, we live for a little behind-the-scenes moment. It's almost always some novel idea that changes the course of history, and you can guarantee that there's bound to be some type of unhinged drama going on, like the feud between Post and Kellogg's that helped create Pop-Tarts.
Think of it like a modern-day epic or a Greek tragedy where we're the spectators. Honestly, you could teach an entire college course on how brands lean on those tropes to market products to the masses, but we'll save that discussion for another day. Either way, we're always down to learn the true stories behind how our favorite snacks come to life, and now we have another historic excerpt to add to the books—save for a few creative liberties, of course.

Finally, we know the truth (truth being used loosely) behind what prompted Cheetos to bring back its Flamin' Hot Dill Pickle for good, and it's a story for the ages. As legend has it, despite dill pickle being the most requested flavor from fans, it took thee hottest hottie in the game, Megan Thee Stallion, teaming up with iconic 2000s rock band Nickelback to entice Cheetos to make the flavor permanent. The archival footage was captured in its entirety and released to the public in a new ad starring the unexpected collaborators performing their song, "Pickle Back," which, coincidentally, sounds like Nickelback's 2001 hit "You Remind Me."
Megan Thee Stallion Teams Up with Nickelback for "Unhinged" Music Video View this post on InstagramAfter realizing that Flamin' Hot Dill Pickle has been discontinued, Megan tasks her assistant with getting her "pickle back," which she seemingly misunderstands as Nickelback, and the rest is history—allegedly. The video then devolves into gloriously unhinged chaos, which sees Megan Thee Stallion and Nickelback breaking into Cheetos headquarters before unleashing a cloud of Cheeto dust onto the world. In true Megan fashion, the Houston hottie can be seen twerking on a surfboard before crashing into the side of a building.
It's over-the-top and larger-than-life in a way that's almost believable. Fans couldn't get enough of the unexpected collab with several saying, "This was so chaotic, I love it 😂." A few others asked the question we were all thinking, "Where was this ad during the Super Bowl!?!?!? 😍" It definitely feels like something that would've fit into the big game, but maybe this is a soft launch for next year? One can only hope.
Cheetos Partners with Goldin to Auction Off Props From the Music VideoCourtesy Cheetos
And as if this bit of revisionist history wasn't enough, later this month, fans will also have the opportunity to bid on one-of-a-kind props from the music video set straight from the Cheetle-prints of Megan Thee Stallion and Nickelback. All proceeds from the auction, in partnership with internationally recognized auction house Goldin, will go to the Pete & Thomas Foundation and All the Right Reasons Foundation. Now that's the kind of history lesson we'll stay awake for.

KFC Officially Brings Back Viral Pickle Mania Menu – But Only For A Limited Time
Anyone familiar with the recent craze surrounding pickle-themed beverages and other fast food items might recall that KFC briefly tested out a limited-time pickle menu late last year.
As more and more people continue to look for sweet, tangy menu items inspired by briny pickles, the iconic fast food chain is officially giving diners what they want with their new Pickle Mania menu.
According to Delish, KFC has formally introduced four new items to their menu, each of which feature the signature taste associated with pickles.
Starting March 23, the restaurant rolled out their new Pickle Mania menu, which allows diners to choose any one of the following items:
- Pickle Burger: A chicken sandwich featuring KFC's Original Recipe Fried Chicken, pickle seasoning, sweet gherkins, pickle ranch and crunchy pickle chips.
- Pickle Loaded Fries: French fries tossed in dill seasoning, pickle chips and a drizzle of pickle ranch sauce.
- Frickles: Deep-fried pickles.
- Pickle Pepsi Max: Pepsi Max served with a side of pickle juice, giving diners the opportunity to pour the juice into their soft drink and ensure the perfect balance between sweet and salty.
An unforgettably bold take on the ongoing pickle craze, KFC's new menu promises to be one of the most divisive among mainstream diners in the United Kingdom. Hearing the news across social media, multiple fans have already expressed their skepticism about the new menu.
"Yeah, I'm not sure about this one," one commenter said on Reddit.
"None of it sounds particularly bad, but the presentation is poor," agreed another user.
While some of these items might catch diners' attention, it's worth noting that, as of this moment, the Pickle Mania menu is limited to KFC locations within the United Kingdom.
However, there's always a possibility that, if the menu performs well overseas, it eventually hops across the pond to the U.S. and other international locations. At least ... we hope that's the case.

Are Vanessa and Logan of Age of Attraction Still Together? Logan Goodrid and Vanessa Drozda on 'Age of Attraction'Vanessa, 49, was upset when Logan asked for her promise ring back in the finale. But Logan made things better by getting down on one knee and proposing. The engaged couple has a 20-year age gap. Vanessa is from Ohio and Logan is from Dallas, TX.
Filming the Netflix show reportedly ended in April. Logan was tagged in a picture back in Dallas in April on Instagram. That was his only post on the platform before promoting the show.
Vanessa celebrated her 50th birthday with a pink-themed party in July, according to Instagram. In August, she was in Dallas, which is a good sign for the couple. She later posted about being in Texas in November.
Update 3/26/2026 5:32: Vanessa confirmed with Entertainment Tonight that she's still in a relationship with Logan and engaged.
The teaser for the reunion also hardly shows Vanessa and Logan talking. "I mean we have gone through a lot of sh-t," Logan told hosts, Nick Viall and Natalie Joy.
Vanessa got emotional. "I'm hoping that people can see this and feel like this is OK," she said with a smile on her face. Leah Woolfolk sat beside her and looked happy for her.
We'll hear more at the reunion, which will be released on The Viall Files podcast on April 1.

Noah Wyle Is Forced To Get Honest When Asked Whether ‘The Pitt’ or ‘ER’ Is a Better TV Show
Noah Wyle rose to fame on ER and is thriving on The Pitt, but the actor was asked to get candid about which beloved TV show is better.
Wyle, 54, who played young Dr. John Carter on ER and currently plays Dr. Michael "Robby" Robinavitch on The Pitt, responded candidly when asked in a revealing new interview with the UK's Times whether The Pitt is as good as ER.
“Getting to The Pitt from a place of experience and wisdom,” he replied, “has made the experience better for me in some ways than ER was, but whether it’s a better show or not, I couldn’t tell you.”
Well, that wasn't quite a definitive answer, but we'll take what we can get!
Wyle Doesn't Think The Pitt Could Have Happened Without COVIDDuring the COVID-19 pandemic, Wyle was working on another TV show he wasn't very passionate about. Almost daily, doctors would reach out to him on social media, asking if Dr. Carter, his beloved ER character, could tell their family's stories.
“It made me call John Wells [an executive producer on ER] and say, ‘Hey, if you ever want to scream a jeremiad from the mountaintop, I volunteer to scream,’” Wyle continued in the Times piece.
The actor said that without the COVID period, The Pitt would never have existed.
“Not a chance,” he said. “It was clear [Covid] was going to mark a huge shift in the way that hospitals were functioning and in the stories we should tell about them.”
Wells, of course, went on to create The Pitt and cast Wyle in the lead role.
Will Noah Wyle's Real-Life Wife Appear on The Pitt?Yes! Earlier this week, TVLine reported that Wyle's real-life wife, Sara Wyle, will guest star in Episode 13 as ER patient Ashley Davis. He'll also reunite with Mary McCormack, 20 years after she played Darfur clinic physician Debbie, on ER. In Episode 13 of The Pitt, she'll play neurosurgeon, Dr. Linda Conley.
Airfare Prices Are About to Skyrocket— These 3 Road Trips Will Have You Seeing Striking Mountains, Blue Waters and National Parks
If you’ve been thinking about booking a flight this summer, you might want to rethink your plans or at least your budget. Airfare prices are expected to surge dramatically in 2026, driven largely by rising jet fuel costs tied to global conflict. In fact, Investopedia reports according to Jefferies analysis, ticket prices could jump 15–20% in the coming months, with some long-haul fares already trending 30% higher than last year.
The reason? A global energy shock. The ongoing conflict involving Iran has disrupted oil supply chains and driven fuel prices up sharply, impacting everything from airlines to road travel.
That said, while gas prices are also rising, road trips are still often far more cost-effective, especially for families. For a group of four, airfare alone can easily exceed $1,200–$2,000 for a domestic trip, while a road trip (even with higher gas prices) often costs a fraction of that when split across travelers.
And beyond the savings, road trips offer something flights can’t: the journey itself.

♬ original sound - secretofmiaandsienna Why Road Trips Still WinEven with fuel prices climbing, road trips remain one of the most flexible and budget-friendly ways to travel. Gas prices in the U.S. have already risen above $4 per gallon in some areas due to the global energy crunch, but the overall cost is still typically lower than flying, especially for groups.
Plus, road trips give you:
- Flexibility to change plans
- No baggage fees or airport delays
- Access to hidden gems you’d never see from a plane
Follow these tips to make the most of your road trip:
- Map your route in advance: Plan the most efficient route to avoid unnecessary miles, backtracking, or traffic-heavy areas that burn extra fuel.
- Use apps to find cheaper gas: Tools like GasBuddy help you locate the lowest gas prices along your route in real time.
- Split costs with your group: Traveling with 3–4 people dramatically reduces per-person costs; gas, tolls, and lodging all become much more affordable.
- Check your car before you go: Proper tire pressure, fresh oil, and a tuned engine can improve gas mileage and prevent costly breakdowns.
- Plan stops strategically: Combine gas, food, and rest stops to avoid frequent detours that waste fuel.
- Book accommodations early: Locking in hotels or rentals ahead of time can help you avoid last-minute price spikes, especially in peak travel season.
- Bring your own food and drinks: Stock up on snacks and meals to cut down on expensive roadside purchases.
Air travel isn’t going away, but it’s becoming more expensive and unpredictable in the short term. With airfare set to climb and demand still strong, travelers are rethinking how they explore. Road trips offer a compelling alternative: lower costs, richer experiences, and the freedom to travel on your own terms.
‘I Tried Green Noise for 14 Nights of Sleep—Here’s What Surprised Me the Most'
I have a type-A personality. If you’re blessed with that very same quality, you know it’s simply who you are—and you wouldn’t have it any other way. But that doesn’t mean you can’t consider a few tweaks to address certain challenges that may come with the territory.
Having type-A tendencies has its benefits. For instance, I love being organized and keeping my house incredibly tidy—especially since my home is also my office. When entertaining, my tables are set to perfection and every detail is planned out well in advance. I’m also always ahead of work deadlines. Although that level of precision wouldn’t work for everyone, it totally works for me in many areas of life. However, where I fall short is when it comes to winding down and getting consistent, restful sleep.
Some nights, it’s difficult to turn my creative thoughts off. My mind is always crafting to-do lists, anticipating projects I’m excited to work on, and brainstorming topics I want to write about. Although it can be productive to get a jumpstart on the next day (or month), solid Z’s are essential for overall wellness. So, I decided to take action and try a two-week test period of green noise to improve my sleep—and I was honestly surprised by the results.
You’ve most likely heard about white noise—especially if you’re a parent. It’s typically used to help babies sleep and can even help individuals with ADHD drown out excess noise. But if you’re a fan of TikTok and the latest sleep trends, you may be aware that green noise is the new “popular kid on the block,” generating millions of views on the platform.
Since green noise is helpful for so many people when it comes to their sleep routine, I decided to give it a try for two weeks straight. Here’s how my experience played out.

What Is Green Noise?Green noise is the sounds of nature, like a soft rainfall or beach sounds. It helps tune out other noises to completely relax you and prepare the body for sleep. Overall, it’s less “harsh” when compared to other sounds like white noise or pink noise. What makes green noise so appealing? It’s incredibly soothing.
“Green noise is mid-range frequencies, often described as similar to steady rainfall or gentle ocean waves,” explains Dr. William Lu, MD, a practicing physician and medical director for digital sleep clinic Dreem Health. “White noise spreads evenly across all audible frequencies and can sound like static. Pink noise reduces higher frequencies and feels softer and deeper. Green noise sits somewhere in the middle, so it feels more natural and less harsh. For some people, that balanced, nature-like quality makes it easier to relax compared to the sharper sound of white noise.”

My Experience Trying Green Noise for 2 WeeksI’m convinced that my type-A personality causes me to be an incredibly light sleeper, which is why I was eager to try green noise to see if it could improve my sleep hygiene. I’ve tried white noise before and can totally relate to Dr. Lu’s “harsh” label—hence, white noise was never a solid choice for me.
I found an eight-hour green noise loop on Spotify and put it on before heading to sleep each night. Even before knowing this sound frequency is nature-like, as a beach lover, I automatically related it to soft waves crashing on the shore. It really helped calm my thoughts and redirect them to total relaxation before shifting into dreamland.
“[When compared to white and pink noise,] green noise narrows the frequency range even further, emphasizing mid-range frequencies (often around 500 Hz), which are commonly found in natural sounds like gentle waterfalls or rustling leaves,” says Dr. Saema Tahir, MD, Sleep Disorder and Pulmonary Disease Specialist, who is quadruple certified and extremely knowledgeable in sleep science. “It’s marketed as more 'soothing' and less harsh than white noise. All three primarily work by masking disruptive sounds, reducing nighttime awakenings.”
During my green noise experiment, I kept my bedtime, wake time and room conditions consistent—heading to bed between 9:30 and 10:00 p.m. and waking up between 7 a.m. and 7:45 a.m. I always sleep in a cool, mostly dark bedroom with comfy bedding.
I didn’t really have an adjustment period—it was all-around an easier process to fall asleep with green noise. I no longer focused on silence or potential noises outside my bedroom. Every evening was relaxing, calming and consistent. In the mornings, I woke up pretty refreshed, with some mornings feeling like I could have stayed in bed for much longer.

What My Fitbit Stats RevealedI was not imagining easier sleep. In fact, I have the stats to back up just how my sleep improved over this two-week timeframe. I recently started wearing a Fitbit Charge 6 to track my sleep, fitness and health. Before adding green noise to my bedtime routine, my sleep scores were mostly “fair.” The weeks I used green noise, however, my sleep scores jumped up to “good” and “excellent.” The “excellent” score signals very restorative, high-quality sleep, while “fair” is moderate sleep with potential interruptions.

Final TakeawaysGreen noise proved to be a surprisingly beneficial addition to my nightly routine—and the stats don’t lie. It’s easy enough to press “play” on the Spotify loop before I head to bed, and if it helps me relax, fall asleep seamlessly and wake up less throughout the night, I am all for it and will keep this as part of my bedtime regimen.

Jiffy's New 'Swicy' Cornbread Mix Is Its First Flavor Debut in Years
For nearly a century, Jiffy has been the quiet hero of weeknight dinners. The small blue box of cornbread baking mix has shown up at chili nights, potlucks and holiday tables without much fanfare. It's inexpensive, reliable and nostalgic in a way few pantry staples can match.
After years without a major flavor launch, the brand is finally shaking up its iconic cornbread lineup with something bolder. And if you've been paying attention to food trends lately, you can probably guess which direction it's heading.
Jiffy Leans Into the 'Swicy' Trend View this post on InstagramThe newest Jiffy baking mix is a Hot Honey Corn Muffin Mix, blending classic golden cornbread flavor with sweet honey and a noticeable kick of heat. In other words, it's fully embracing the sweet-and-spicy, or "swicy," craze that's taken over everything from pizza to fried chicken.
Hot honey has become a grocery aisle superstar over the past few years, and this new cornbread mix taps directly into that momentum. The balance of sugary sweetness and subtle spice adds dimension to the familiar crumb Jiffy fans already love.
Importantly, it's still just as easy to make. Like the original cornbread baking mix that sells millions of boxes each year, you simply add egg and milk. No complicated steps. No extra ingredients required.
Jiffy hasn't rolled out a brand-new flavor in years, making this debut feel like a bigger deal than your average limited edition product drop.

More Than Just a Side DishWhile classic cornbread pairs naturally with barbecue, chili and comfort-food dinners, this sweet-and-spicy version opens the door to more creative uses.
Think cornbread muffins served alongside crispy chicken, crumbled into a breakfast hash, or even transformed into savory-sweet party bites. The added heat gives it versatility that goes beyond the bread basket.
Jiffy's broader lineup already includes everything from blueberry muffin mix to pizza crust and brownie mix, but cornbread remains its crown jewel. It accounts for the vast majority of retail sales and has been a staple since 1930. Updating that signature product is no small move.
The new Hot Honey Corn Muffin Mix is currently available on the Jiffy online store, marking a bold step for a brand that rarely strays from its roots.
For shoppers who love nostalgic comfort but also want something trend-forward, this swicy twist might be the pantry refresh they didn't know they needed.

'Abraham Lincoln' Once Comforted Steven Spielberg While He Sobbed on a Movie Set
Steven Spielberg has directed some of the most emotionally overwhelming scenes in cinema history. It took Daniel Day-Lewis to bring him to tears on his own set.
Speaking at South by Southwest in a conversation with Sean Fennessey ofThe Big Picture podcast, Spielberg described watching Day-Lewis perform a pivotal speech in Lincoln, a four-minute take in which the president implores his cabinet on the urgency of passing the 13th Amendment, and simply losing it.
'I have to this day, talking to you about it, never gotten over that scene, or how he played Lincoln, and how he became Lincoln, for all of us, for all that time,' Spielberg said.
At the end of the first take, he walked off the set entirely. Day-Lewis, still in character, noticed the director was gone and asked where he was. Producer Kristie Macosko Krieger pointed him to the next room, where Spielberg had gone to cry alone. 'Mr. Lincoln walked into the room, saw me, sat down next to me and put his arms around me,' Spielberg said. 'That was a moment I will never forget.'

It was one of several performances Spielberg cited as having humbled him as a director, a list that also includes Anthony Hopkins's summation scene in Amistadand Tom Hanks crying in a crater in Saving Private Ryan.
The SXSW conversation ranged widely, touching on Spielberg's conviction that extraterrestrial life may already be present on Earth. 'I have a very strong suspicion that we are not alone here on Earth right now, maybe even today,' he said, citing the 2017 New York Times report on Navy pilot encounters with unidentified aerial phenomena and a 2023 congressional subcommittee hearing conducted under oath as the events that rekindled his interest in the subject. His new film, Disclosure Day, arrives June 12.
On the subject of social media, Spielberg was characteristically blunt. He put Instagram on his phone for two weeks and deleted it. 'I had missing time as if I had been abducted by aliens,' he said. 'Where did that time go?'
Asked which of his films he considers most overlooked, Spielberg didn't hesitate: Always, his 1989 romantic fantasy with Richard Dreyfuss and Holly Hunter, andAudrey Hepburn's final screen appearance. 'I really do love that movie,' he said. He once used it as a litmus test for the women he dated. 'If they did not cry at the end, I wouldn't go out with them again.'
On his future plans, he was characteristically guarded but offered one tease about a Western project in development: 'It's going to have horses, and there will be guns, but there'll be no tropes.'
He has been making movies for more than five decades and has no intention of stopping. 'I can't envision what it would be like not to do what I do,' he said. 'That would be the worst nightmare of my life.'
Noah Wyle Has One Rule for ‘The Pitt’s Guest Stars — And It Might Surprise You (Exclusive)
Noah Wyle has a message for newcomers before they step into the emergency room at Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center. According to Enuka Okuma, the star of The Pitt welcomes, and warns, guest stars on the medical drama with a note.
Speaking to Parade in an exclusive interview, the Paradise actress revealed, "Right from the audition, there's a note that [Wyle] sends out that is telling anybody who's going to attempt to come into that room, basically leave your ego at the door."
While Okuma clarified that Wyle doesn't say those words exactly, she explained, "He's saying, 'Come in and play, be open, be ready, because we're doing something different here.'"
"It's encouraging everyone to do their best, but also alerting you that this is not going to be your regular experience, and it's not because it's like a symphony the way those actors play off of each other and dance among each other with their lines, with their physicality," Okuma continued. "And a day player coming in or a guest star coming in is not going to be used to that, so it's kind of a warning, but it's also a welcoming, and I felt it when I was there, for sure, and it elevates your game."
Okuma played a surrogate named Natalie Malone who had complications giving birth in the first season of The Pitt. The critically acclaimed Max original was a chance to reunite with Wyle, whom she had previously worked with on the 2019 limited series The Red Line. "Just to get to work with him again was fantastic," Okuma said.
The actress praised Wyle, who portrays Dr. Michael "Robby" Robinavitch on The Pitt, calling the Golden Globe winner a "leader" and a "team player."
Enuka Okuma appeared in an episode of The Pitt in Season 1John Johnson/Max
"It was so cool," Okuma recalled about her experience on The Pitt. "It was the first year, so it hadn't come out yet, and it was just, again, being welcomed into a group like that, because they're all in that room, and it is one room. They're in that room all day long. Every single day for, you know, 12 hours a day."
"It's a lot of intimacy," she added with a laugh. "And they breathe together as an ensemble. They act together as a unit."
By the time she appeared in Episode 11, Okuma pointed out that the cast "had really gelled." "So it was such a treat to just get to be dumped into the middle of that and go with the flow with them," she said. "They were all just so great to work with."
Okuma stars in Hulu's ParadiseJonny Marlow
These days, Okuma is starring opposite Sterling K. Brown in Hulu's hit original series Paradise. The show, created by This Is Us' Dan Fogelman, returned for its second season in February and was renewed for a third season ahead of the Season 2 finale.

"I feel like I'm working with people at the top of their game, and that is such wonderful company to be in. And I'm so grateful that I get to play in this arena with this pool of actors and these writers, again, the whole crew, it's just such a special experience that is like lightning in a bottle and I just want to hold on to it," Okuma said. "The crew has all been together since This Is Us, so they've all [been] working together over 10 years at this point, so they're a tight-knit group and it's a well-run machine, and it's a family. So to be welcomed into that has just truly felt very special."

George Clooney Is Back With a New Drink—but It's Not Tequila
George Clooney is officially back in the beverage game—but this time, it's not tequila. After the massive success of Casamigos, Clooney has once again teamed up with longtime partners Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman for a brand-new venture, which comes as one of the fastest-growing trends right now continues to pick up steam.
Instead of another spirits brand, the trio is launching a nonalcoholic beer called Crazy Mountain. It's meant to give you that same cold-beer experience—just without the alcohol or the rough morning-after hangover. It also taps into the way more people are choosing to drink right now, whether that means cutting back or skipping alcohol altogether.

Clooney's New Drink Isn't Boozy—Here's What You Need to Know View this post on InstagramCrazy Mountain is a nonalcoholic, lager-style beer designed to taste like the real thing. The goal isn't to reinvent beer—it's to keep everything people already like about it, just without the alcohol. Each 12-ounce can has about 65 calories and comes in two varieties: Original and Lime. Both are described as clean and crisp, with a familiar beer flavor that doesn't feel like a compromise.
One thing that sets it apart is how it's made. Instead of brewing a traditional beer and then removing the alcohol later (which can affect taste), the brand uses a process that avoids alcohol from the start. That way, the flavor stays intact from beginning to end. It's a small detail, but one that matters, especially in a category where taste is usually the biggest complaint.

Why Clooney Made the Switch From Tequila to ThisClooney has already proven he knows how to build a drink people actually want to buy. Casamigos wasn't just popular—it became a go-to for many before it was eventually sold for a massive payout.
This time around, the thinking feels a little more everyday. As Clooney put it in a press release, "We love beer, we just don't always want the effects that come with it." That might mean skipping the buzz, avoiding a headache the next day, or just wanting something lighter when you're out with friends.
Gerber echoed that idea, saying it's the kind of drink you can have anywhere, whether you're out on the water, playing a round of golf or just hanging out. It's not meant to replace anything entirely; it's just another option depending on the moment.
Where You'll Probably See It FirstCrazy Mountain is expected to start rolling out in select U.S. markets sometime in 2026. It won't be everywhere right away, but given Clooney's track record, it's likely to expand pretty quickly if people connect with it. For now, it's one to keep an eye out for, especially if you like the idea of having a beer without committing to the full experience that usually comes with it.
