New Flight Route Makes Visiting This Popular Asian City Easier Than Ever
Long-haul travel to Asia has slowly been shedding its friction, but one major U.S. metro area still lacks a key nonstop connection. For years, travelers heading across the Pacific from the East Coast have had to factor in layovers, tight connections or awkward routes that added hours to an already lengthy journey. That's finally starting to change, and it could reshape how Americans think about visiting one of Asia's most dynamic capitals.
Later this year, a new nonstop route will link the Washington, D.C., area directly to Taipei, making the trip significantly more straightforward for both leisure and business travelers. The service will operate four times per week between Dulles International Airport and Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, marking the first time a single flight connects the two capitals. The route launches in July aboard a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, offering a mix of business class, premium economy and economy seating designed for long-haul comfort.
Why This Route Is a Big Deal for TravelersThe Global Guy / Shutterstock.com
This new service arrives at a moment when interest in Asian travel is surging again. Taipei, in particular, has been trending as travelers look beyond the usual gateway cities and seek destinations that feel vibrant, approachable and rewarding without being overwhelming. The addition of a nonstop flight removes a major barrier, cutting travel time and eliminating the need for connections through West Coast hubs or other Asian cities.
The airline operating the route, EVA Air, is widely regarded as one of the world's top carriers, consistently earning five-star ratings for service, cleanliness and onboard experience. It's also known for its premium economy cabin, which offers more legroom and comfort than many of its competitors, and for thoughtful touches like elevated meal service even in economy. For East Coast travelers, that reputation matters on a flight that clocks in at well over 14 hours.
Beyond convenience, the route signals growing confidence in demand from the U.S. market. Dulles becomes the airline's eighth U.S. destination, joining major hubs like New York, Chicago, Seattle and Los Angeles.

What Makes Taipei Worth the TripTaipei has quietly built a reputation as one of Asia's most well-rounded cities. It's exceptionally safe, easy to navigate and refreshingly affordable compared to other major capitals. The city's night markets are legendary, serving everything from bubble tea to pepper buns and oyster omelets, while its restaurant scene spans humble street stalls to Michelin-starred dining.
What truly sets Taipei apart is how seamlessly urban life blends with nature. Hikes like Elephant Mountain are minutes from downtown and offer sweeping skyline views, while Yangmingshan National Park provides lush trails and hot springs just outside the city. Cultural landmarks like Longshan Temple, historic Di Hua Street and the National Palace Museum add depth to any itinerary, and popular day trips to Jiufen or Yehliu Geopark are easy to plan.
With a new nonstop flight in place, visiting Taipei is no longer a logistical challengeāit's an open invitation.

Aldi's Pretty Pink 3-Tiered Storage Boxes Will Hide Clutter in the Most Clever Way
To know me is to know my passion for all things pink. I don't care what the Plastics say in Mean Girls, we don't just wear pink on Wednesdays, we wear it every day. And Valentine's Day? Well, that's just putting the color on blast and celebrating it the way it should be honored 365 days a year. So when Aldi pulls in pink household items for the Aldi Finds aisle, I feel seen.
And, yes, Aldi actually embraces the color pink a lot. Last summer, they were selling pink and purple trash cans that actually made my heart flutter (which admittedly is kinda weird because it was a trash can). This week, the grocery chain is delivering pink energy in the form of tiered storage bins.
Aldi's Kirkton House 3-Pack of Woven Storage Boxes comes in either rose or baby blue and features a lovely basket-weave textureāalmost a cottagecore feel, if you will. Each box is lidded, so they're perfect for stacking to create a vertical storage moment that doesn't take up too much surface area.
Kirkton House 3-Pack of Woven Storage Boxes, $14.99 at AldiAldi
The medium- and large-sized baskets have handle cutouts on each side, but the small basket has a single handle cutout on the top of its lid.

Realistically, the smallest basket is ideal for corralling smaller odds and ends. Think TV remotes, chargers and cords, keys and sunglassesāthat sort of thing. In a bathroom, it works well for skincare backups, makeup or travel-size toiletries.
Now the medium-sized bin obviously gives you a few more options. It can handle rolled hand towels, hair tools or cleaning supplies.
As for the large bin, it can tackle bigger clutter that you'd still like to keep accessible, like magazines, paperwork, craft supplies, kids' toys or pantry items like snacks and tea boxes.
Aldi has been absolutely killing it lately with its lineup of organizers and storage options. There's a rolling cart that can help keep your DIY or office supplies sorted. And a stylish collapsible bin that you can tuck away when not in use. Plus, Aldi's bamboo ladder is another great vertical storage option for giving throw blankets and other linens a tidy home.

Why This New āStar Trekā Star Avoided Watching the Franchise
Star Trek: Starfleet Academy star Kerrice Brooks wasn't all that interested in the Star Trek franchise while growing up.
During a February 2026 interview onThe Kelly Clarkson Show, alongside fellow Star Trek: Starfleet Academy stars Holly Hunter, George Hawkins, and Sandro Rosta, Brooks said that she "tried not to" watch Star Trek. The Prom star explained that she "was trying to be like one of those punk rock kids."
"If my family liked it, then I wasn't gonna like it. So it took me a long time to watch [Star Trek]. Like, genuinely, it took me a long time to watch that," said Brooks during the interview.
In addition, Brooks, who plays a hologram SAM (Series Acclimation Mil), said she initially wasn't sure if she'd "see [herself] represented on the screen" when watching a Star Trek show or film.
"And then when I saw Sonequa [Martin-Green]in the Toni Braxton wig," continued Brooks, seemingly referencing her appreciation for Martin-Green's character, Michael Burnham, in Star Trek: Discovery.
Kerrice Brooks Shared Which Past 'Star Trek' Characters Inspired SAMDuring the Kelly Clarkson Show interview, Brooks shared some information about her character on Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, which premiered in January 2026.
"She is a hologram, she's the first of her kind. She's at this school. She's essentially created to kind of like be a spy for our home world, to let them know if it's safe or not, and then report back to my people and say, 'Stay away from him. He has allergies,'" quipped Brooks during the interview.
While speaking to Comic Book Resources in January 2026, Brooks shared which past Star Trek characters inspired her portrayal of SAM. Brooks said that the Emergency Medical Hologram, known as The Doctor, played by Robert Picardo, in Star Trek: VoyagerĀ and Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, was a source of inspiration. In addition, Brooks "drew from" the characters Seven of Nine, played byJeri Ryan, the younger version of Jake Sisko, played by Cirroc LoftonĀ in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and the famed Vulcan, Surak.
A Beloved Super Couple Teases a Return to Salem on 'Days of Our Lives'
A beloved super couple appears poised to return to Salem next week on Days of Our Lives.
The official Days of Our Lives YouTube channel a new weekly promo teasing whatās ahead on the Peacock soap for the week of January 9 ā 13 2026.
At the Horton House Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) delivers surprising news to his grandmother Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), revealing that he, his wife Lani (Sal Stowers), and their twins are preparing to move back to Salem.
Fans have long speculated about what might bring Eli and Lani back to Salem. As Parade previously reported, Stowers and Archey were spotted on set in recent months, and their participation in behind-the-scenes content on the official Days of Our Lives social media has since fueled expectations that a return was only a matter of time.
The new promo now confirms that the fan-favorite couple is indeed heading back to Salem, though questions remain about how long their stay will last.
Eli and Lani were last seen together during the holiday season when they returned for the showās 60th anniversary celebration. During The Dr. Tom Horton Free Clinic Gala, the couples revealed plans to expand their family before later reuniting with loved ones at Christmas.
Stowers first joined Days of Our Lives in 2015 as Lani Price. Initially believed to be the daughter of veteran character Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Tamara Price (Marilyn McCoo), Lani later learned that her biological parents were actually Tamaraās sister Paulina Price (JackĆ©e Harry) and T.R. Coates (William Christian).
Archey joined the series in 2017 as Eli Grant, the grandson of Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes). Over time, Eli and Lani emerged as one of the showās most popular couples, and ultimately became the first black couple to have an on-screen wedding on Days of Our Lives, in 2020.

Olympics 2026: Officials Address Claims Ski Jumpers Are Injecting Acid Into Their Ahem Areas
The Olympics are a breeding ground for scandal. Whatever miniscule advantage an athlete can get over their competitors, theyāll take -- sometimes even if itās illegal. The Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 are no different.Ā
Theyāre calling it Penisgate, and itās by far the very last controversy we ever thought would dominate headlines. But here we are.Ā
Apparently, Bild, a German tabloid, claimed back in January that some male ski jumpers might be injecting hyaluronic acid into their genital areas to fly further at the Olympics, because in this instance, yes, size actually does matter.Ā
According to NBC 4 Los Angeles, increased bulk results in a bigger ski suit, which then affects the aerodynamics and a ski jumperās glide time in the air. āA larger suit means extra fabric to catch air like a sail and prolong a ski jumperās flight,ā the outlet explained.Ā
But donāt take only their word for it. There have been studies done on this stuff. In one such paper, done by the scientific journal Frontiers, researchers found that 2 centimeters of added ābulkā could add up to 6 meters to the length of a jump. That could mean the difference between silver and gold.
Due to the speculation, officials have been forced to respond.
āThis wild rumor started off a few weeks ago from pure hearsay,ā FIS spokesman Bruno Sassi told The Associated Press, per ESPN. āThere has never been any indication, let alone evidence, that any competitor has ever made use of a hyaluronic acid injection to attempt to gain a competitive advantage.ā
The news comes as ski jumping is working through another cheating scandal. Last year, Norwegian team leaders were caught on camera manipulating ski suits at the World Championship in Trondheim, Norway. The coaches were banned from the sport for 18 months, while their ski jumpers accepted three-month suspensions. Both jumpers are competing this year in the Winter Games.
In the wake of that scandal, ski jumpers are now required to be measured via 3D body scanners while wearing āelastic, body-tight underwear.ā According to ESPN, there are also microchips in their suits designed to prevent any inch gaining.
Hyaluronic acid, a legal substance commonly used in cosmetic and medical treatments, is not banned by anti-doping rules and is said to increase, or plump, the circumference of the genitals when injected.Ā
Asked about the Bild claims in at a press conference at the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics, WADA director general Olivier Niggli said, āI am not aware of the details of ski jumping, and how that could improve performance.ā He said this while holding back some chuckles.
View this post on InstagramThe men's ski jumping competition begins Monday. We'll be watching very closely.
How Many Super Bowls Has Patrick Mahomes Won?
Writers forĀ Friday Night LightsĀ weren't wrong: America loves a good QB1 story. Unlike other positions on the field, like running backs and wide receivers, the role of quarterback can be played by only one person at a time, allowing that player's star power to rise (see Bart Starr, Joe Montana andĀ Tom Brady).
Even before Brady retired (again) in 2023, Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs was emerging as the NFL's "next big QB1." In 2020, the former first-round draft pick out of Texas Tech made history when he became the youngest Black quarterback to win Super Bowl MVP after the Chiefs downed the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LIV.
With the Chiefs losing against the Philadelphia Eagles in last year's Super Bowl, now is a good time for a refresher on Mahomes' track record.Ā How many Super Bowls has he played in? How many Super Bowls has he won?We didn't punt on any of the questions. Here's everything you need to know.
Related: Kansas City Chiefs Quarterback Patrick Mahomes Has a Super Net Worth in 2026
Patrick Mahomes has played in five Super Bowls, his most recent being Super Bowl LIX in February 2025. Each of Mahomes' Super Bowl appearances has been with the Kansas City Chiefs, who drafted him out of Texas Tech with the 10th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.Ā
Mahomes has led the Chiefs to three Super Bowl titles (Super Bowl LIV in 2020 vs. the San Francisco 49ers, Super Bowl LVII in 2023 vs. the Philadelphia Eagles andĀ Super Bowl LVIII in 2024 again vs. the 49ers), winning Super Bowl MVP all three times. Mahomes was also named the 2022 NFL MVP, making him the first NFL quarterback to take home NFL and Super Bowl MVP Awards in the same season since 2000, whenĀ Kurt WarnerĀ achieved the same feat.Ā
And how's this for rarified air? Mahomes also earned the NFL MVP Award during the 2018 season. Only two other quarterbacks have won more than one Super Bowl and NFL MVP Award during their careers: Tom Brady and Joe Montana.
Mahomes and Brady squared off once in the Big Game when Mahomes led the Chiefs to their second-straight appearance in 2020 (Super Bowl LV). Brady, then a QB for the Tampa Bay Bucs, got the better of Mahomes. The Bucs won 31-9.

Mahomes has won three Super Bowl championships.
In 2020, Mahomes led the Kansas City Chiefs to their first Super Bowl win since 1969 when he threw for 286 yards and ran the ball in for a touchdown in a 31-20 win over the San Francisco 49ers. Subsequently, Mahomes collected the Super Bowl MVP. At 24 years and 138 days, he was the youngest Black quarterback to earn the honor and third overall, joining Russell Wilson (Seattle, Super Bowl XLVIII) and Doug Williams (Washington, Super Bowl XXII).
Mahomes and the Chiefs had the chance to defend their title in 2021, the Super Bowl for the pandemic-effected 2020 season, in which Mahomes won NFL MVP. Mahomes finished with 270 passing yards and threw two picks as Brady and the Tampa Bay Bucs routed the Chiefs 31-9. It marked the seventh and final Super Bowl win for Brady.
In 2023, Mahomes led the Chiefs to their third Super Bowl appearance in four years and reclaimed the coveted Lombardi Trophy in a 38-35 win. It wasn't easy. The Chiefs found themselves down 24-14 to the Eagles. Mahomes threw three touchdowns, hitting Jalen Hurtseach time. He and Hurts also connected for a two-point conversion, and Harrison Butker kicked the game-winning field goal. Mahomes collected his second Super Bowl MVP.
In 2024, Mahomes and the Chiefs won their third Super Bowl, beating the San Francisco 49ers again in a 25-22 OT win. Mahomes threw for 333 yards while going for 34-of-46 passing, with two touchdown passes and an interception. He earned his third Super Bowl MVP. Butker's crucial 57-yard field goal in the third quarter marked the longest FG in Super Bowl history (previously set just one quarter earlier by 49ers kicker Jake MoodyĀ at 55 yards).
Mahomes and the Chiefs returned to the Super Bowl in 2025 with a chance to make NFL history by winning three consecutive titles. But the Eagles got revenge on the Chiefs in a dominating win. The final 40-22 score is deceivingāPhilly led 34-0 during the third quarter, and Kansas City scored two touchdowns in garbage time, which prevented the loss from being a top-10 blowout in Super Bowl history. In the first half, Mahomes went 6-of-14 for 33 yards (a first-half career low) with two interceptions. He finished the game 21-of-32 for 257 yards, throwing 3 touchdowns.

Kay Adams Tells Martha Stewart She's 'Whatever' About Getting Married
Fan-favorite sports commentator Kay Adams is taking Super Bowl LX week by storm with her NFL coverage on her Up & Adams Show before the big game. Though her biggest focus is on sports and the players, things turned personal during a Feb. 6 interview with Martha Stewart, who gave her some surprising relationship advice.
"I heard you say you don't you don't need a man," Adams said during the chat, after the 84-year-old said she's enamored with actor Tom Hardy. "I don't I don't actually need a man," Stewart insisted. "But but men are nice."

That's when Stewart turned her attention to Adam's much-talked-about love life. "Are you married?" she asked the beautiful 39-year-old. "No," Adams responded curtly. When asked why not, she elaborated, "I'm kind of like you, [Martha]. Like, oh, whatever."
While Stewart never remarried after her 1987 separation and subsequent divorce from her husband Andrew Stewart, she insisted Adams needs to find a life partner. "You're too young not to want to be married," she said. "You better get married."
https://www.youtube.com/live/ZqacmRZc6nA?si=nzYMNsp7i5iSVD4n&t=793
When a surprised Adams asked why, Stewart answered, "I just think every woman should experience marriage and you should experience having a child. You have to have a child."
"I have to?" asked Adams before requesting Stewart's advice for finding Mr. Right. "You're you're surrounded. Look at this place, like 99% men," said the cookbook author. "There's somebody out there for you!"
Does Kay Adams Have a Boyfriend?Though Adams teased that "Nobody really gets [her] attention," she has opened up recently about being ready to settle down. While many fans have speculated about whether or not she has a boyfriend and who it might be, it sounds like she really hasn't had time for dating at all. In November 2025, she opened up about her changing attitude toward relationships on the Bussinā With The Boys podcast.

But now, she's "very happy with where" she is in life. "Iām settled, Iām a little more calm, like I feel a little more able to be there for someone else," she said.
So, what is she looking for in a future husband? "Thereās nothing better than banter, and I have that with so few people," she said. "I would say the loyalty. I need to feel secure. I need somebody who makes me feel secure. So loyalty is more important than anything. And Iām a very loyal person."
Adams has kept mum on past romances, but in 2024, she clapped back at speculation she was dating Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones after jokingly calling him her "boyfriend" to New York Giants offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor on Up & Adams.
āIām not dating Daniel Jones ā breaking, breaking news ā Iāve met him all of two times, wish him the best, Iām pretty sure he has a girlfriend,ā she said on the 25/10 Show.

My Chef-Husband Cracked the Code to the Best-Ever Buffalo Chicken Quesadillas
I dare anyone to challenge me on the greatest Super Bowl snack of all time: buffalo chicken dip. It's creamy, it's chunky, it's slightly spicyāor atomic, depending on how hot you like your buffalo sauceāand impossible to stop eating. Served with your dipper of choice (tortilla scoops for me, thanks), it's a warm, cozy dip that's always the star of the game-day buffet spread.
My chef-husband, Luke, knows I'm buffalo chicken obsessed. Buff chix tendies are my love language, but I will take my saucy poultry favorite any way I can get it: in a wrap, on a salad, on a flatbread... the list goes on and on. So when he asked what variation of buffalo chicken we should make for the Super Bowl this year, my heart skipped a beat when he said, "What about buffalo quesadillas?" YES! I screamed, already in love with the idea.
Quesadillas have become our go-to solution for leftovers lately. If you have cheese and tortillas on hand, you can literally fill them with any other meat and veggies, fold 'em up and dig in.
Were buffalo chicken dip quesadillas the Super Bowl touchdown Iād been missing my entire life? I was 1,000% convinced before Luke even got to work on them, but here's his start-to-finish process that takes all of 20 minutes, so you won't miss a second of the big game.

He might be a chef, but when Luke is short on time and stressed about being stuck in the kitchen once the game starts, he does what any home cook would do and leans into shortcuts. Time savers that don't skimp on flavor are key to planning a delicious, doable Super Bowl menu.
Rather than make his own buffalo chicken strips (battering, frying, saucing, etc.), he opted for Wegmans Buffalo-Style Smoked Chicken Thighs. They're boneless, which made shredding a cinch, and they're smoked over hickory wood for a fire-kissed vibe and flavor.
After the chicken, he also grabbed a wedge of nice blue cheese (Point Reyes ftw!), a pack of extra-large burrito tortillas, a bottle of buffalo sauce, sour cream, a few celery stalks, scallions and a bunch of fresh cilantro. Easy-peasy. Oh, and avocado oil spray, for getting that golden brown quesadilla sear just right.

How to Make Buffalo Chicken QuesadillasNow comes the fun part: Making the dip. Reaching for the largest bowl we have, Luke gets to work shredding the buffalo chicken. Because it was just the two of us, he used about half of the one-pound package, but if you're making this for a crowd, use the whole thing.
Once the shredded chicken was set, he crumbled in about 1/2 cup of blue cheese. Now, a note from Luke on blue cheese. Although you can save even more time buying blue cheese crumbles, he would never. "Pre-crumbled cheese usually has additives in it to preserve the shelf life. And why bother when crumbling your own takes all of two seconds?" he tells me. Buying a wedge of blue cheese means you can get the good stuff and that the texture will be better, too.
After the cheese, it's time for sour cream and ranch. About 1 cup and a 1/4 cup for those, respectively, but really, you can eyeball it.

View the 3 images of this gallery on the original articleAfter that, it's time for the star of the show: the buffalo sauce. Luke pours in a few hefty glugs, then gives everything a good stir with a spatula, making sure everything is evenly mixed.

Now it's time to assemble. Luke takes a tortilla and spreads a thick layer on one half of the tortilla, being careful to avoid going too close to the edges. You want the quesadillas to be fully stuffed, but you don't want the filling to squeeze out of the sides.
Next, he folds the other half of the tortilla on top of the chicken mixture and presses down so everything is nice and compact. He repeats that with two more tortillas while he heats up a skillet over medium-high.

Giving the hot pan an ample spray of avocado oil, he places two crescent moons inside for about 2-3 minutes until they're golden brown on one side, then he flips each to crisp up on the other side.

Once the quesadillas are golden brown on the outside and warm and melty inside, he transfers them to a cutting board and slices them into neat triangles. He arranges them in an artful pile on a platter and roughly tears the celery leaves off the top of the stalks to use as garnish.
"Chef-husband secret move," he winks, sprinkling sliced scallions and cilantro leaves across the celery. "Garnish salad for the quesadillas."
And with that final step, they were ready.

My Honest Thoughts About My Chef-Husband's Buffalo Chicken QuesadillasBest snack ever? I think I devoured two wedges in seconds and went back for a third a minute later. Not only is buffalo chicken dip the greatest mashup for quesadillas, but you donāt even have to bother reaching for a chip or a hunk of bread to scoop up the cheesy chickenābecause all the work is done for you in these easy-to-hold, toasty triangles.
Buffalo sauce and blue cheese are the ultimate pairing to meāand I love extra blue cheese on the side. So the only part of this recipe I questioned was the ranch. You could easily swap that for blue cheese if itās more your jam (like mine). And serve extra on the side.
Appalled, Luke looked at me in shock when I went to pour a little sidecar of ranch.
āThe sauce is already baked in,ā he lamented. āYou donāt need that.ā
āWhat about a little herby green goddess for good measure?ā I persisted.
āNo. Perfect as is.ā
And after a few more bitesābeing extra careful to load each one with the celery leafāscallion garnish he had generously sprinkled over the platterāI had to agree.
Super Bowl or regular Tuesday, sports or not, these ādillas are going into regular rotation from now on.

4 Chef-Husband Tips for Making Buffalo Chicken Quesadillas1. Say no to cold sour creamTaking the sour cream out of the fridge and letting it sit on the counter for a few minutes helps it soften a bit, which will make it much easier to mix into the dip. If there's any liquid in the container when you open it, just stir it in so the sour cream is smooth.
2. Buy a bold buffalo sauceThe sauce is a key ingredient here, so be sure to pick up one you love. One of Luke's personal favorites is Jake's Grillin' Buffalo Wing Sauce, which you can find on Amazon (or you might be able to pick up a bottle at Wegmans, as we did). Crafted from cayenne pepper, freshly ground coffee beans, a splash of honey, garlic, onion and spices, it's hot sauce leveled all the way upābut it's not so insanely spicy that your mouth will be on fire.
3. Get fresh with the garnishQuesadillas are often served with a creamy dipping sauce, but because that's baked into the recipe here, a little freshness is in order. Celery leaves (from the celery stalks you might have in the house already for your Super Bowl snacking) make a tasty, pretty and delicious garnish. Luke adds in fresh cilantro leaves and some sliced green onions for a mini salad topper. It adds a bright flavor to the dish and is an easy way to dress up this simple snack. You've gotta love an easy chef-husband upgrade!
4. Keep the avocado oil spray closeYouāre going to need to add a bit of high-heat oil (Luke likes avocado oil) every time you flip, so make sure it's close by when you start cooking. A spray version makes things even easierāLuke's go-to is La Tourangelle.

Meet Celimar Rivera Cosme: The Puerto Rican Sign Language Performer Joining Bad Bunny at the Super Bowl
Meet Celimar Rivera Cosme, the Puerto Rican sign language performer making history alongside Bad Bunnyat the Super Bowl LX halftime show.
Rivera Cosme is a Puerto Rican Deaf performer and sign language interpreter who will bring a groundbreaking element of accessibility and cultural representation to the Bad Bunny Super Bowl halftime performance. In a first for the event, the halftime show will feature a multilingual signing program that includes Puerto Rican Sign Language (LSPR)ādistinct from American Sign Language in grammar, rhythm, and cultural nuanceāand Rivera Cosme is leading it.
"In a historic first, the signed rendition of the Apple Music Halftime Show will feature a multilingual signing program incorporating Puerto Rican Sign Language, led by Deaf Puerto Rican performerĀ CelimarĀ RiveraĀ Cosme," an NFL release confirmed.
Rivera Cosme isn't just interpreting the lyrics, however; she's performing them. She has described her approach as more than literal translation.
"Interpretation is one thing, but I'm not going there to interpret; I'm going to perform," she told ABC News. "In Puerto Rico, we're very used to seeing interpreters everywhere. But theĀ Super BowlĀ is different. You have to add your flow, your vibe, your style, and your attitude, and bring all of that together with the interpretation. The body's movement is different."Ā
Rivera Cosme incorporates storytelling, rhythm, and expressive movement to reflect the music's energy and emotional depth, blending interpretation with performative artistry. Her overall style mirrors the intensity of Bad Bunny's reggaeton and Latin music, making the signing itself part of the artistic experience.
View this post on InstagramHer journey with Bad Bunny began years ago, when she interpreted for him on major tours like his 2022 World's Hottest Tour and his El Choli residency in Puerto Rico. It was there that her work gained wide recognition among Deaf and hearing audiences alike.
Rivera Cosme has spoken openly about the pride and responsibility she feels representing the Puerto Rican Deaf community on one of the world's biggest entertainment stages. She hopes her presence not only makes the performance accessible to Deaf fans but also brings broader visibility to LSPR culture.
"I feel incredibly proud because everything that Bad Bunny is doing is making history," Rivera Cosme told ABC News. "And it means that sign language is also going to make history there. The most important thing is to emphasize that we have our own language, our own identity, and our own culture."
She added that she not only wants to make history with this performance herself, but that she wants to lift her community up alongside her.
"I will be doing the performance, but what I'm truly bringing with me is the Deaf community of Puerto Rico and our language, LSPR," she wrote in an Instagram post, kissing the Puerto Rican flag. "All of us will shine."

Iām a GastroenterologistāThis Is the Worst Way To āFixā Bloating
Bloating is more than just an uncomfortable feeling; it can be truly disruptive to oneās daily life, even leading to skipping out on activities you love. (Ever try doing yoga when it feels like you have a balloon in your belly? Not fun.)
āBloating is that tight, āpuffy,ā gassy feeling in the belly. For some people, it comes and goes. For others, it happens most days,ā saysDr. Jason Korenblit, MD, a gastroenterologist with JustAnswer. While bloating can be extremely uncomfortable, Dr. Korenblit notes that the good news is that, except for very rare occasions, itās not dangerous.
There are many possible causes for bloating. Dr. Korenblit says that swallowing air (which can happen if youāre talking fast, chewing gum, drinking a carbonated drink or drinking through a straw), constipation, food intolerance (such as lactose intolerance), hormonal changes (he notes that many women feel bloated before or during their period), food fermentation (which can occur after eating foods that are hard to digest) and stress can all cause bloating.
If bloating is something youāre experiencing on a regular basis, itās a good idea to see a gastroenterologist so you can work together to pinpoint the root causes. If you are trying to treat your bloating on your own, thereās one popular fix that gastroenterologists warn against. Keep reading to find out what it is and to see what you should do instead.

If youāre dealing with bloating regularly, you may think the best way to get to the bottom of it is to cut out a food group that you suspect is the cause. āA lot of people try cutting out whole food groups one at a time to ātestā whatās causing their bloating,ā Dr. Korenblit tells Parade. But itās best to avoid doing this if you arenāt receiving guidance from a healthcare professional.
āI always counsel my patients not to cut out major food categories without speaking with a registered dietitian,ā says Dr. Trisha Pasricha, MD, MPH, a gastroenterologist, assistant professor of medicineāÆat Harvard Medical School and author of Youāve Been Pooping All Wrong. Without guidance, Dr. Pasricha adds that it can be difficult to get all the nutrients the body needs when an entire food group has been cut out.Ā
Dr. Pasricha explains that while, sometimes, a gastroenterologist may recommend a more limited diet as a way to pinpoint whatās causing bloating, itās not meant to be a long-term solution.
That said, there are times when cutting out certain specific types of ingredients may be helpful. Dr. Paul Feuerstadt, MD, FACG, AGAF, a gastroenterologist, member of the board of directors at the Peggy Lillis Foundation and an associate clinical professor at Yale School of Medicine, says that removing artificial sweeteners or high-fructose content from oneās diet is a great starting point for treating mild bloating.Ā
Related: This Is the Worst Type of Meat for Gut Health, According to Gastroenterologists
According to Dr. Feuerstadt, it can also be helpful to remove one food (or ingredient) at a time, but warns against removing more than one at a time. āIf you remove multiple things at once, then you canāt pinpoint what did or did not help."
The takeaway here is that while removing one specific ingredient or food at a time may be helpful, itās important to avoid cutting entire food categories without the guidance of a doctor or dietitian.
Related: The Game-Changing Gut Health Tip We Wish We'd Known About Sooner
What To Do InsteadIf the bloating youāre experiencing is a one-off and not something that happens regularly, Dr. Feuerstadt recommends taking an over-the-counter medication, such as GAS-X or Beano. āThese [medications] can break up a gas bubble into smaller bubbles that are easier for your system to absorb. This also makes you more comfortable since the gas is not in one segment of your bowel and stretching it, causing discomfort,ā he says, adding that this is a short-term solution.
Some other in-the-moment bloating solutions that can help, according to Dr. Korenblit, include going for a short walk, drinking ginger tea and avoiding carbonated beverages.
If you are experiencing bloating regularly, schedule an appointment with a gastroenterologist. Prior to your appointment, Dr. Korenblit recommends keeping a food diary. āTrack when bloating happens, what you ate, your bowel habits, sleep and stress levels,ā he says. This can be a helpful tool to share with your gastroenterologist during your appointment.Ā
Dr. Pasricha emphasizes that you shouldnāt feel self-conscious or embarrassed about talking about bloating with your doctor. āPeople brush it off as ājust bloating,ā but it can genuinely affect your quality of lifeāyour clothing choices, your body image, your willingness to go out and enjoy meals with the people you love. You deserve to get help,ā she says.Ā
With some guidance from a trained doctor, youāll be so glad you did.

Lindt Truffle Flavor Fans Praise as a āMustā Earns Wider Release
Lindt is bringing back a beloved seasonal Lindor Truffle flavor and this year, it'll be even easier to find.
While some fans wait patiently for the brand's gold-foil-wrapped bunnies to begin lining store shelves and signaling the close arrival of spring, others are banking on the return of a once extremely limited truffle flavor. If you guessed Blood Orange, you'd be wrong (thankfully, that flavor isn't seasonal; it's still incredibly hard to come by, but so worth the search, if you ask us).
The Easter-exclusive product in question is Lindt Lindor Carrot Cake Truffles, which may sound like an unusual flavor, but last year it had fans squealing, "take my money."
Lindt Lindor Easter Carrot Cake Truffles Land at Even More Retailers This YearThe confection, clearly inspired by the star of the season, was previously exclusive to Target storesānot this year, though.

According to an official statement shared with Parade on Thursday, Feb. 5, the Lindor Carrot Cake Truffles will be available at most major retailers nationwide soon. Some fans have already spotted them in stores, and they couldn't be more excited (despite the fact that we haven't even made it through Valentine's Day yet).

"LIMITED EDITION Lindor CARROT CAKE! š„š°š," one eagle-eyed fan wrote alongside an image they took of the returning favorite on shelves at a Walmart store in Canada. "The Easter Bunny is coming!"
"WHERE DO WE FIND THESE?" a second exclaimed before a third chimed in, saying they "need this right now."
"My fav cake," someone else shared.
"If you see these you must get them," a fourth said, tagging a friend.
One more begged the release to go overseas, gushing that they "neeeed this in the uk!!"
For those who may be new to the flavor, the beloved seasonal variety features Lindt's "irresistibly smooth" signature white chocolate truffle shell that's been stuffed with a spice-filled chocolate carrot cake creme.Ā
From what Parade understands, the carrot-cake-flavored chocolate truffles will be available across the U.S. and, apparently, in Canada, wherever other Lindt favorites are sold (CVS, Target, Walgreens, Walmart, and more) for a limited time this season (prices vary).
Other seasonal offers shoppers will find on shelves this spring include Lindt's original gold foil wrapped chocolate bunnies and two fun new twists on the classic (bite-sized versions filled with either a creamy milk chocolate or "a luxurious hazelnut and crisp filling"). The brand is also launching an all-new Dubai Style Chocolate Egg, which fans expect to be nothing short of "amazing."

Savannah Guthrieās Mom's Case Enters Critical Phase and Retired NYPD Sergeant Talks Troubling Red Flags (Exclusive)
The search for Nancy Guthrie is on day seven and her whereabouts are still unknown.
On Saturday, Feb. 7, Parade spoke to retired NYPD sergeant Joe Giacalone who worked for the department for more than 20 years. With reports that the FBI is now taking the lead in the case, Giacalone helped break down some of the most asked questions we've been seeing on social media.
For starters, Parade asked Giacalone about the aforementioned shift in the investigation. He explained that if the FBI has in fact taken over the case, it could mean one of two things. It could mean that there is evidence that whoever has Nancy "has crossed state lines," or it could mean that there's evidence that Nancy is "no longer with us"āor both.
Authorities believe that Guthrie may have been abducted from her home in Arizona in the middle of the night on Sunday, Feb. 1. Within a couple of days, an unverified ransom note was sent to a variety of media outlets, including TMZ.
Giacalone says that this set off "red flags from the beginning." He explained that there's obviously only one person in the Guthrie family that could pay millions of dollars (in bitcoin or otherwise) and that's Nancy's daughter, Today anchor Savannah Guthrie. So, Parade asked Giacalone why someone would go to the media with a ransom request and not directly to the family.
"By not going directly to her and directly to the family is is odd in so many ways. You know, choosing TMZ, they knew exactly what they were going to do with it, right? They knew it was going to get plastered everywhere. So, you know, if somebody who is aware of the power of social media and what TMZ does...," Giacalone says.
As for whether or not these ransom notes could be a red herring, Giacalone acknowledges that anything is possible at this point in time.
"Investigators are going to take these serious no matter what. And they have the capability of being able to investigate this as a potential, viable situation, or they can also rule it out as a potential hoax. We've already got one person found out and arrested," Giacalone says, referencing the arrest of Derrick Callella, who admitted to sending a phony ransom request to the Guthrie family, unrelated to the note sent to media stations.
Related: Savannah Guthrieās Momās House Sees FBI Activity Minutes After New Message News Breaks
Parade also spoke with Giacalone about the current timeline and just how crucial things get as we head into one week without any proof that Nancy is alive.
"It's really the first hour, we refer to it as the golden hour," Giacalone says. "That's the most important thing that first hour [when someone is reported missing]."
In today's world, Giacalone points out, many cases are solved by help of "video surveillance, cell phone records, and internet records." Giacalone believes that's where the focus is nowāseeing what evidence comes by way of cameras in the neighborhood or even at nearby businesses.
Based on what's transpired over the past 24 hours, Giacalone believes that the case will be solved "in the next 24 to 48 hours" if he had to guess.
When asked if Giacalone thinks Nancy will be found, he was confident in his reply. "They will find her," he says.
For more updates from Giacalone, you can follow him on X. You can also tune in to his podcast, True Crime With the Sarge.
