Aldi's Foldable Work Table Is the Space-Saving Find of Every DIYer's Dreams

Mon, 03/23/2026 - 4:05pm

If you're even a little bit crafty and living in a small space, you already know the struggle: where exactly are you supposed to do your projects? The kitchen table sometimes works until it's time to eat. The coffee table? Not ideal. And while, yes, you could absolutely build your own work surface (because you are that handy), it still needs to check a few key boxes—like not taking over your entire living space.

That's the real challenge. It isn't just about having a spot to sand, paint, assemble or glue things together; it's about having one that disappears when you're done. Because as much as we love a good weekend project, we also like having a place to sit that isn't covered in sawdust.

Workzone Foldable Worktable, $24.99 at Aldi

Aldi

All of this leads up to why foldable options are kind of a game-changer for DIYers and weekend warriors, like Aldi's Workzone Foldable Worktable. You get a solid, reliable surface when you need it, and then—poof—it tucks away like it was never there. It's practical, space-saving and ready to roll whenever inspiration (or a random Saturday project) strikes.

Aldi has sold this worktable in the past, and while it's $24.99 at full price, last year a shopper scored it on clearance for $1.99. Yes, that's in U.S. dollars. Just keep in mind that it may never hit that super low price at your Aldi, and once these worktables are gone for the season, they're gone. So you may not want to hedge your bets on it getting to a lower price.

"That's an incredible steal," said an Aldi shopper in a Reddit thread about the worktable. "I paid full price for mine and love it. I'm not doing heavy duty construction with it, but it's a great level surface at a good height for me."

The Aldi Finds aisle is stocked with goodies right now, including pretty spring tableware and a sturdy potting bench. Beyond that, there are some really cute clothes, like a shirtdress that could totally pass for Anthropologie. But if it's your Easter table you're looking to dress, Aldi's cottagecore tablecloths will add tons of charm to your holiday setup, and at a really phenomenal price.

‘Star Trek: Starfleet Academy’ Canceled After 2 Seasons Following Fan Backlash — But There’s a Catch

Mon, 03/23/2026 - 4:01pm

Star Trek: Starfleet Academy has officially been canceled following a negative reception from fans of the beloved franchise. However, the show still has one more season on the horizon.

Paramount+ confirmed on Monday, March 23, that Star Trek: Starfleet Academy will end after season 2, which has yet to be released. The news comes after the season 1 finale dropped on the streaming platform earlier this month.

“We’re incredibly proud of the ambition, passion and creativity that went into bringing Star Trek: Starfleet Academy to life,” CBS Studios and Paramount+ said in a statement on Monday. “The series introduced audiences to a bold new group of characters, welcomed familiar faces and expanded the Star Trek universe in exciting new ways. We’re grateful to [executive producers] Alex Kurtzman, Noga Landau, Gaia Violo and the entire cast and crew who pushed storytelling boundaries in the spirit of [Star Trek creator] Gene Roddenberry’s vision.”

The statement emphasized that season 2 will still be released despite the show’s cancellation. The series was renewed for a second season prior to season 1’s debut in January, and production on the next installment of episodes has already wrapped.

“We look forward to sharing the upcoming second and final season with everyone and continuing to celebrate the cast, crew and all that was accomplished with this series,” the statement concluded.

While critics applaudedStar Trek: Starfleet Academy, some fans panned the series, claiming its storylines were too “woke” and it did not live up to the franchise’s standards.

“As a fan of Star Trek for the last 36 years of my life, I appreciate it always pushing the boundaries on modern-day problems,” one person wrote in a March Rotten Tomatoes review. “But this show has taken things way too far, uprooting its legacy of Star Trek.”

Despite the backlash among some fans, other viewers defended Star Trek: Starfleet Academy.

“This show clearly has a young target audience and what’s wrong with that?” another person asked in a March review. “The premise of the show is the rebuilding of Starfleet Academy from scratch and they’ve decided to dive into the emotional struggles of young characters.”

After the cancellation news became public, the show’s executive producers addressed the controversy in an open letter. Kurtzman, Landau and Violo wrote that the joy of Star Trek “comes from adventuring across boundaries of time, space and the humanly possible in service of Roddenberry’s transformative vision of the future.”

Star Trek places its bet on the best in human nature,” they continued. “It dares to imagine a society of ‘infinite diversity in infinite combinations,’ free of war, hate, poverty, disease and repression and dedicated to the spirit of scientific inquiry and respect for all life, whether carbon or silicon-based, green-skinned or blue.”

Kurtzman, Landau and Violo’s letter went on to quote the late Roddenberry, who once said: “Star Trek was an attempt to say that humanity will reach maturity and wisdom on the day that it begins not just to tolerate but take a special delight in differences in ideas and differences in life forms. … If we cannot learn to actually enjoy those small differences, to take a positive delight in those small differences between our own kind, here on this planet, then we do not deserve to go out into space and meet the diversity that is almost certainly out there.”

Star Trek: Starfleet Academy stars Holly Hunter (Nahla Ake), Sandro Rosta (Caleb Mir), Karim Diané (Jay-Den Kraag), Kerrice Brooks (Sam), George Hawkins (Darem Reymi), Bella Shepard (Genesis Lythe), Oded Fehr (Charles Vance), Gina Yashere (Lura Thok), Robert Picardo (the Doctor), Tig Notaro (Jett Reno) and Zoë Steiner (Tarima Sadal).

Season 1 included 10 episodes, which dropped on Paramount+ from January 15 to March 12. A release date for season 2 of the streaming series has yet to be announced.

Hudsonville Dips Into Nostalgia With New Dessert-Inspired Ice Cream Flavor

Mon, 03/23/2026 - 3:56pm

Hudsonville is giving a childhood classic dessert an ice cream "remix," and we can only imagine that this flavor is going to be flying off shelves this summer.

The cult-favorite family-owned and operated creamery has been churning out all sorts of frozen delicacies for a century, but this year is looking like its hottest season yet. Back in January, Parade reported on its extended collaboration with Little Debbie that resulted in new Cosmic Brownie and Oatmeal Creme Pies Ice Cream Sandwiches. Then we learned that partnership would be going one step further, with the debut of Oatmeal Creme Pies Ice Cream Bars. Now, we hear the company is working with another cultural icon: Albanese, the makers of the "World's Best Gummi Worms."

"Part of making great ice cream is experimenting with flavors and mix-ins that surprise people in the best way," Joel Ancrile, brand lead for Hudsonville Ice Cream, shared in a statement. "We've been perfecting our recipes for 100 years, and this collaboration with Albanese gives us the chance to recreate a dessert people already love in a way that's never been done before, with chewy gummi worms swirled right into the ice cream."

Heading to the freezer section now is Hudsonville's all-new Dirt Cake Ice Cream, which is packed with Albanese World's Best Gummi Chiller Worms.

Hudsonville Debuts New Dirt Cake Ice Cream Flavor With Albanese Gummies That "Actually Stay Chewy"

According to a recent press release, the addition combines creamy and delicious real, premium ice cream with gummi candies that actually stay chewy.

Hudsonville's new flavor features all the flavors of the original Dirt Cake recipe that inspired it. It starts with a base of vanilla and chocolate pudding-flavored ice cream with cream-filled chocolate cookies and Albanese World's Best Gummi Chiller Worms, which are specially made to stay chewy while frozen.

"We pioneered our chiller technology back in 2010 to create a gummi that holds its flavor and texture in ice cream, setting the stage for experiences like this," Bethany Albanese, co-president of Albanese Confectionery, explained. "Partnering with another family-owned company that shares our passion for quality and creativity allows us to bring that innovation to life."

"We are always focused on making the best food for people to enjoy and that starts with anticipating what consumers will want long before they ask for it," Albanese added.

The new flavor follows the viral release of the Trolli gummi-inspired popsicle in 2024 and a '90s-inpired Baskin-Robbins treat the chain launched last year, both of which were a hit with fans. Hudsonville's innovative incorporation of the trendy treat is already catching eyes, as fans say it's "good stuff."

"WHAAAAAT I love worms in dirt and Hudsonville makes my fave ice creams… I need to find it," another added.

"I NEEEEEEEED THIS!!!" a third cheered.

Hudsonville's Dirt Cake ice cream joins several other recently released dessert-inspired flavors like its Brownie Sundae, which sees rich vanilla ice cream outfitted with chocolate brownie chunks, rainbow sprinkles and a delicious fudge swirl, and the brand's new Fruit Smoothie Bars, which it said was inspired by a former summer-exclusive flavor (Tropical Twist) and features a "refreshing blend" of strawberry, orange and mango fruit sherbets.

Where Will Hudsonville's New Dirt Cake Ice Cream Be Available?

Hudsonville's Dirt Cake ice cream will be available at Walmart, Kroger, Meijer, Hy-Vee, Hannaford, Family Fare, D&W, Food City, Schnucks, Lowe's Foods and other independent grocers just in time for the warmer weather season, according to the release. Find it wherever other fan-favorite Hudsonville products are sold (prices may vary).

To shop the brand at a store near you, try Hudsonville's online "scoop finder."

New First-of-Its-Kind Cereal Takes Boy Kibble Literally and People Have Thoughts

Mon, 03/23/2026 - 3:45pm

Someone's got to say it: We've officially maxxed out on added protein. What started as a trendy dietary fad has since spilled over into what feels like a dystopian franken-experiment to see how many things we can pump up with an extra 20 grams of protein. It's almost like we're being soft-launched into a reality where actual protein becomes too expensive for the average everyday consumer to purchase, leaving us with no other option but to get our daily recommended intake from a protein bagel topped with protein cream cheese. And to wash it all down? A bottle of protein-enhanced water.

It's honestly gotten a little out of control. But just when you thought you'd seen it all, something else even more outrageous enters the chat. While most of the protein buzz has surrounded products getting an additional boost from powders and isolates, some are opting to use actual meat to beef up the protein content—and we're not talking about jerky

No, my dear protein-weary comrades, instead of meat sticks or protein bars made with beef tallow, a new first-of-its-kind cereal has hit the market, and it lists real ground beef as its number one ingredient. I give you Meaties. Not to be confused with Wheaties, this never-before-seen breakfast cereal delivers a hefty 20 grams of protein that comes from 100 percent American beef, according to the brand's website. The cereal comes in chocolate-peanut butter and maple cinnamon flavors, and, like regular cereal, it's meant to be eaten with milk.

Meaties Launches World's First Cereal Made With Real Ground Beef

We know this sounds like an early April Fools' joke, but we can assure you it is, in fact, an actual, serious product. Like regular cereal, Meaties claims you can store it in the pantry as you normally would, and, in response to a comment on its Instagram, the brand assured that it is good for up to one year. It also says that, despite being made with beef, the cereal has a sweeter, more satisfying flavor profile than a steakier one.

What Is Boy Kibble? @justanotherfitchick

Lean ground beef is gonna bankrupt me I think #boykibble #beef #dinner

♬ Covet - Basement

It almost seems like the cereal was inspired by the growing "boy kibble" trend, which is essentially just making a rice bowl topped with a substantial amount of ground beef. Needless to say, news of the world's first meat-based cereal is generating quite the buzz on social media. Several people have likened the product to fictional ones from TV shows, such as Meatloaf Crunch from The Amanda Show and Bachelor Chow from Futurama. "It's just cold Taco Bell meat?" inquired one person. "I almost threw up," commented someone else.

Social Media Reacts to Meaties Cereal @hydroxide

Meat cereal ….for the lovers of jerky flavored milk and dog kibble #foodscience #foodscientist #meat #beef #cereal #product #cpg

A few people also questioned whether this would be a product that needs to be inspected by the USDA and, if so, noted that it doesn't appear to have the required stamp. Surprisingly, despite the confusion, a few people seem intrigued by the new product. There are even videos on the brand's social accounts showing people trying the cereal and genuinely liking it. Is it enough to make yours truly shell out $14 for a box? Probably not, but you do you bestie.

Either way, this proves that we've only scratched the surface of the whole proteinification-of-everything movement. Who knows what we'll get next? What do you think? Is Meaties a try or deny?

Fan-Favorite 'Star Wars' Actor John Boyega Teases Franchise Return 4 Years After Slamming Sequel Trilogy

Mon, 03/23/2026 - 3:44pm

Seven years after his last appearance on-screen in Disney's Star WarsSequel Trilogy, actor John Boyega is shedding new light surrounding his potential return to the series.

During a recent appearance at Megacon Orlando, the 34-year-old actor confirmed that he's been in touch with Lucasfilm's new boss, Dave Filoni, who officially took over the company from exiting president Kathleen Kennedy (via ScreenRant).

While there's no concrete word on what exactly Boyega's return to the Star Wars universe might look like, the actor passingly told a fan who told him to speak with Filoni, “I actually have [spoken with him], actually.”

One of the principal actors to debut in Disney's Star Wars Sequel Trilogy, Boyega first appeared in the franchise with 2015's Star Wars: The Force Awakens. In the context of the films, Boyega played former First Order stormtrooper Finn, who defected from the fascist regime to join the freedom-fighting Resistance.

While Boyega has won positive acclaim for his overarching roles in all three movies within the trilogy, he hasn't shied away from voicing his frustration at Disney's poor attempts at including POCs within the franchise.

In 2020, the actor made headlines for calling the company out for its lack of diversity within the films, as well as for the diminished he and other non-white actors played in the central narrative of the trilogy.

“What I would say to Disney is do not bring out a Black character, market them to be much more important in the franchise than they are and then have them pushed to the side," Boyega told GQ magazine. "It’s not good. I’ll say it straight up.”

“You guys knew what to do with Daisy Ridley, you knew what to do with Adam Driver,” the 34-year-old went on to say. “But when it came to Kelly Marie Tran, when it came to John Boyega, you know f**k all. So what do you want me to say? What they want you to say is, ‘I enjoyed being a part of it. It was a great experience…’ Nah, nah, nah. I’ll take that deal when it’s a great experience. They gave all the nuance to Adam Driver, all the nuance to Daisy Ridley. Let’s be honest. Daisy knows this. Adam knows this. Everybody knows. I’m not exposing anything.”

'Mike & Molly' Star Who Lost 173 Pounds Reveals the Mindset Trick That Helps

Mon, 03/23/2026 - 3:43pm

Mike & Molly star Billy Gardell, 56, is opening up about how he lost 173 pounds, what inspired him to decide to lose weight, and one particular shift in his mindset that has helped along the way.

In a recent interview with ExtraTV, Gardell shares a combination of issues that were interfering with feeling good. It wasn't simply being overweight, the actor and comedian says. He was also a smoker with sleep apnea and asthma. "I had everything on my bingo card except over 65 and that’s what I’m trying to get to," he shares about his ultimate decision to get bariatric surgery.

Specific health issues weren't the only reason behind Gardell's decision to change things up. His wife Patty Gardell and their son William "Will" Gardell III, 22, were also critical factors. "I want to be here as long as I can for my kid, and I want to annoy my wife for another 20 years."

Related: 'Melrose Place' Star Has a Message About Hollywood's Dangerous Ultra-Skinny Trend

So what's the key mindset "trick" for which Gardell attributes his ongoing changes? He says, "Nobody’s gonna have perfect days all the time, but be consistent. Be more consistent than you aren't."

When asked about Mike & Molly reboot, Gardell says he's open to it. The popular CBS television sitcom, which ended in 2016, follows Mike Biggs (Gardell) and Molly Flynn (Melissa McCarthy), a couple who meets in an Overeaters Anonymous group and ultimately marry and together navigate attempts to lead healthier lives.

If they do a reboot, Gardell calls out the need for a significant rewrite, however, as life has changed for both him and his former costar Melissa McCarthy. "Both Melissa and I have gotten really healthy over the last few years. So maybe Mike and Molly were on a weight loss program or something."

Gardell is currently headlining a standup tour titled The Less Is More Tour. You can find tickets and information on his website: billygardell.com.

And of course, he's telling jokes about the realities of weight loss on his tour, too. Here's a sneak peek:

Perez Hilton Shares Why 'Stupidity' Landed Him in the Hospital for 21 Days

Mon, 03/23/2026 - 3:41pm

In what celebrity influencer Perez Hilton called the “most important video he’s ever shared,” he revealed how his own “stupidity” led to a 21-day hospital stay—an experience he now describes as both the worst and the best thing that’s ever happened to him.

Only days ago, the 48-year-old posted shocking images and video of himself in a hospital bed, connected to a myriad of monitors and receiving oxygen. One image shows several bandaged small cuts on Hilton's stomach, along with the caption, "March madness indeed! Have I got a story to tell!" A video followed with Hilton providing the voiceover: "Before I tell you all this saga that I went through soon, in full detail, I wanted to share something very important. When I moved to Las Vegas three years ago, I heard horror stories about the healthcare here, but I need to let everybody know that I went to Southern Hills Hospital and I received the best care there."

Hilton now shares that he had the flu and was taking medication for the illness on an empty stomach—a move that left him hospitalized. “Before I was hospitalized, I had the flu. I had the flu for about a week," he said in a YouTube video. “I took the medication for the flu for a week. However...a big but, I didn’t take any of my medication with food. I never have, and you’re supposed to take all of this medication with food.”

As a result, Hilton “developed an ulcer and then a perforation and then sepsis.” He added through tears, “People die of sepsis. The day before I was hospitalized, I was in so much stomach pain. I was like ‘This is weird, but it’ll go away.'”

Unfortunately, Hilton's pain didn't subside, and he couldn't walk the next morning. He was immediately hospitalized. “I ended up being there for 21 days. I felt like I knew everybody by the time I left,” he shared. “The first few days were a lot of pain and constant tests, X-rays, CT scans, ultrasounds, because they couldn’t find where the perforation was. So that was scary.”

He ultimately had to have laparoscopic surgery to identify the perforation, plus another operation to address the infection in other organs. “They inserted I don’t know what inside of me and drained a ton more infection out of me, and then the sepsis just kept working, and my body kept falling apart. My heart got out of control. They had to put me on heart medications. And then, I developed another infection in the hospital.”

The two weeks that followed, Hilton was fed via feeding tube and began the slow, and what he described as a "humiliating," process of eating solid foods and healing. Despite being home, he said, "I am not 100 percent. It’s like a scary IV with two lines, and one goes to my heart.”

He added, “I’m going to have dinner with my kids and my mom every night from now on."

Does Marco Die on ‘General Hospital’?

Mon, 03/23/2026 - 3:39pm

Marco's (Adrian Anchondo) life hangs in the balance on General Hospital after he tried to do the right thing for the sake of his relationship with his boyfriend, Lucas (Van Hansis).

After Lucas learned that Marco’s father, Sidwell (Carlo Rotta), and WSB agent Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) were using Britt’s (Kelly Thiebaud) Huntington’s Disease to force her to do their dangerous, dirty work, he was ready to walk away from Marco.

🎬SIGN UP for Parade's Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox🎬

However, Marco agreed to help Lucas obtain a vial of the medication Cullum had been giving Britt to keep her illness at bay so it could be replicated. Once recreated, Britt would have her own supply and no longer rely on Cullum or Sidwell.

In true soap fashion, Marco finally secured two vials of the drug after being caught by Cullum once. When Cullum noticed that two vials were missing, he immediately knew Marco had stolen them, before cornering him and stabbing him with a knife.

Marco’s life hanging in the balance has now brought to the surface the question of whether the actor is leaving the ABC soap.

Neither General Hospital nor Anchondo has spoken out on whether the actor and character are leaving the show.

However, there’s some good news indicating that Marco won’t die. Anchondo posted a photo of himself working at General Hospitalto his Instagram Stories the other day, which one fan captured and reshared on X.

I refuse to believe Marco is a goner, he’s too handsome and poor Sidwell and I love him and Lucas too much and the show can’t do this to me!!!! Also Adrian posted this today so 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤡🤡🤡 #GH pic.twitter.com/1s7h4lLdrZ

— SunshinePeach (@SunshinePeach9) March 21, 2026

Considering General Hospital films four to six weeks in advance of when episodes air, Anchondo being at the studio bodes well for Marco surviving the knife attack.

As for what happens next, the latest preview video for the ABC reveals that Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) walks into her office and exclaims, "Oh my god."

Considering Cullum stabbed Marco in Alexis' office, all signs point to her finding Marco, and it happens soon, which is another sign Marco will likely survive.

Then again, anything is possible in the soap world!

Travis Kelce Finally Makes Big Announcement About Chiefs Future—and Fans Are Saying the Same Thing About Taylor Swift

Mon, 03/23/2026 - 3:36pm

Travis Kelce is officially not going anywhere—at least for now.

After weeks of speculation about whether the Kansas City Chiefs star would return for another season, the future Hall of Famer has made it official. According to the Chief’s X account, Kelce signed a new contract on Monday, March 23, locking in what’s technically a three-year deal, though it’s widely believed he could opt to play just one more season.

"Officially official ✍️ @tkelce is back for his 14th year!” the post read, along with a photo of Kelce smiling while seemingly signing a contract.

According to reports and per TMZ, the 36-year-old tight end will earn $12 million in 2026, with the potential to bring in several million more through incentives.

Kelce didn’t waste any time celebrating the news, sharing his excitement with fans also on Instagram. “Chiefs' kingdom! Let's go, baby! It's official,” he said in a video. He added, “Let's get Arrowhead rocking, baby. We'll see you guys in a few months!”

While his return had been rumored for weeks, the official signing puts any lingering retirement talk to rest; for now, anyway. The uncertainty came after a disappointing season for the Chiefs, who finished 6-11 and missed the playoffs for the first time in over a decade, raising questions about whether Kelce might walk away from the game.

View this post on Instagram

Instead, he’s gearing up for another run—and fans are already looking ahead to what that means off the field, too.

With Kelce engaged to Taylor Swift since August 2025, his return all but guarantees that Swift will be back in the stands at Arrowhead Stadium this season. And if fan reactions are any indication, that might be just as headline-worthy as his contract news. The two are also rumored to be getting married this summer, so a busy year is ahead for the celebrity couple, that’s for sure.

I try to purchase clothing made of natural fibers when possible, and I've personally experienced how much some 100% cotton fabric can shrink when dried in the dryer. Due to the nature of the fabric, it is recommended to hang or lay this shirt flat to dry. Reviewers who have followed the care instructions noted that "the fabric is comfortable and softens up after washing," keeping its loose shape without shrinking.

'Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' Cast Responds to Accusations They Leaked Taylor Frankie Paul Attack Video

Mon, 03/23/2026 - 3:27pm

There is a lot of speculation happening after the 2023 video of Taylor Frankie Paul attacking Dakota Mortensen was revealed. Paul's arrest after the incident was shown on Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, but this is the first time the incident was shown.

The cast reacts to people wondering if anyone in the Hulu cast was behind the video given to TMZ. Layla Taylor addressed a fan who directly accused her.

Dana Bowling posted an Instagram video on March 22. She said she first suspected Mortensen, 33 shared the video. She believed one of Paul's costars shared the video since videos were allegedly mentioned in the cast's call with the network about their fears of filming with Paul.

Secret Lives of Mormon Wives paused filming after a new incident involving Paul, 31. The content creator believed it was Miranda McWhorter.

"Haha. The first time I saw that video was the same day you all did," McWhorter, 27 commented. "None of us girls have ever been in possession of it or any other evidence. My intent with my statement was not to shade Taylor, but to simply address that I do not support nor condone that behavior from either party."

"Taylor and I have been in a good place and she has apologized for both the Shinia and Chase stuff!" she continued. "I have my theories on who leaked the video, but I can promise you it wasn't any of the women."

Another commenter said she thought Layla Taylor, 25, was behind it. "I saw the video when TIMZ posted it," Taylor wrote. "I don't know how I would have even gotten that. Same with Miranda my intentions with my statement was to share how the situation on both sides is something I don't condone."

Paul's season of The Bachelorette was canceled. She also temporarily lost custody of her son with Mortensen while there is an ongoing domestic violence investigation. Mortensen has a temporary protective order against Paul.

Neil Patrick Harris and Josh Radnor Reveal On-Set Friction While Filming 'How I Met Your Mother'

Mon, 03/23/2026 - 3:26pm

Neil Patrick Harris and Josh Radnor are reflecting on past challenges on the How I Met Your Motherset.

Harris appeared as a guest on the podcast How We Made Your Mother hosted by Radnor and How I Met Your Mother co-creator Craig Thomas. In the Monday, March 23 episode, Harris revealed to Radnor, "I always kind of felt that that my performance annoyed you, Josh."

Radnor, surprised by Harris' revelation, said, "Tell me more. Tell me more."

Harris explained that he was "laser focused" on delivering a comedic performance and said, "I was very indifferent to the heart and the pathos of it because I wasn't written that way. And I know that was your job, right?"

He continued, "I remember often when we were filming, and I sensed frustration from you because you wanted the scene to be like a good scene and I was looking at you like, ‘Motherf***er, I'm doing spit takes.'"

Thomas chimed in saying that he feels Harris and Radnor's differing approaches was a part of what made the show successful. Harris responded with, "I'm not like airing dirty laundry or anything. I'm just saying I think it required like multiple perspectives of all of us to create it. But as it was happening, I was sort of like, 'I think that Josh is just kind of annoyed by the gnat flying around all the time just doing bits.'"

Radnor then offered his own perspective on the times when things got a little tense while filming.

"I think it might have been a little bit of confusion between actor and character. Like Barney was often incredibly almost dismissive of Ted, and you were so good at playing that. I think sometimes I felt dismissed by Neil, but I was being dismissed by Barney," Radnor said.

Reflecting on his time filming with Harris, Radnor said he was "delighted by our weird chemistry," and Harris said that it's nice to "have these conversations now" because at the time it felt like a “disconnect."

Thomas added that Harris and Radnor has "different assignments" and "very, very different roles," but that their "specific combination as a duo was fantastic."

Starbucks Just Dropped a 'Hannah Montana'-Inspired Drink—and Fans Are Roasting It

Mon, 03/23/2026 - 3:25pm

Just when you thought your coffee run couldn't get any more nostalgic, Starbucks decided to tap into full-on Disney Channel energy. With the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special hitting Disney+ and Hulu on March 24, fans are already deep in their throwback era—and now there's a drink to match. But instead of a standing ovation, this one is getting side-eyes and laughs from fans.

The new menu moment is being called "Hannah's Secret Popstar Refresher," and it's essentially a customized take on the Strawberry Açaí Refresher. The drink skips the usual strawberry inclusions and adds raspberry syrup plus a layer of raspberry cold foam on top. It's bright, sweet and very on-theme for a pop star moment—at least at first glance.

Fans Say Starbucks Missed a Major Detail View this post on Instagram

Starbucks shared the news with followers. Here's where things get funny. Longtime Hannah Montana fans were quick to point out one very important detail: Hannah Montana absolutely hates raspberries.

Yes, really. In the season one episode "Smells Like Teen Sellout," Miley Stewart (Hannah) gets sick after a raspberry pie eating contest and develops a lifelong aversion to the fruit. She even turns down a major perfume deal because it's raspberry-scented. It's one of those oddly specific character traits that fans never forgot.

Social media reactions are already rolling in, with fans joking that Hannah herself would never order this drink. Some are calling it ironic, others hilarious, and a few are lovingly roasting Starbucks for missing such a key piece of lore.

Related: Starbucks Is Rolling Out 2 Big Changes to Its Coffeehouses

Still Worth a Sip?

Despite the backlash, the drink itself actually sounds pretty good—especially if you're a fan of fruity, refreshing beverages. The fruity raspberry flavors give it a sweet-tart vibe, while the cold foam adds a creamy finish that feels a little more indulgent than your average refresher.

And let's be honest, part of the fun here is the conversation. Between the upcoming anniversary special and the wave of nostalgia it's bringing, this drink feels like a playful nod to a show that defined a generation. Even if it's not 100 percent accurate, it's still getting people talking—and heading to Starbucks to try it for themselves.

If you want to order it, you can find it in the Starbucks app or ask a barista to customize it. Just maybe don't mention raspberries around Hannah.

Source Close to Duggar Family Shares Alleged Reason Kendra Duggar Was Arrested

Mon, 03/23/2026 - 3:23pm

More details have emerged on the alleged reason for Kendra Duggar's arrest.

On Friday, Mar. 20, police in Tontitown, Arkansas confirmed via a press release that they’ve filed charges against Kendra, 27, and her husband Joseph Duggar, 31.

The couple are each facing four counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a minor, as well as four counts of second-degree false imprisonment.

The charges potentially carry an eight-year prison sentence.

On Monday, Mar. 23, a source close to the Duggar family revealed the alleged reason why Kendra is being charged to People.

"I can tell you the arrest was a result of a home inspection, and the door locks being on the exterior of the doors," the source said.

A source close to the investigation also told the publication that locks were specifically found on the "doors of rooms where the children would be."

A spokesperson for the family declined to comment on the reason for Kendra's arrest, however, they did tell the outlet that the charges against her are "totally unrelated" to the child molestation charges her husband is facing in Florida.

"She’s not suspected or accused of participating in his alleged crime," the spokesperson said to People.

Authorities arrived at the Duggar family compound around 1 p.m. on Mar. 20 to serve an arrest warrant for Kendra, however, she was not at home at the time, per local outlet KNWA/FOX24.

According to the sheriff’s office, Kendra later was arrested and booked into the Washington County Detention Center in Fayetteville, Ark., at 4:56 p.m. local time. She was released after paying her bond, which was set at $1,470, and spent less than two hours in jail.

Kendra’s booking shows she has a court date related to the charges on April 29. Joseph is scheduled to appear in court on that date as well.

Joseph was previously arrested and charged for Lewd and Lascivious Behavior, involving unlawful sexual activity with a minor on Wednesday, Mar. 18.

The new child endangerment charges in Arkansas are unrelated to the previous charges, which were filed in Florida.

Joseph and Kendra have yet to comment publicly on any of the allegations.

No further information regarding the couple’s alleged crimes has been provided as minor victims are involved, according to police.

Joseph and Kendra have been married since 2017 and share four young children.

12 Famous TV Reboots That Were Quietly Killed Before Hitting Screens

Mon, 03/23/2026 - 3:22pm

From Scrubs to Malcolm in the Middle to Baywatch, television is experiencing a surge of nostalgic reboots as of late. And while TV fans are no doubt excited to reconnect with some of their favorite fictional characters via these revivals and remakes, not every reboot is made equally. Despite the best intentions—and publicized pick-ups—some don't get off the ground at all. (As for TV shows that should never have been rebooted in the first place, that's a different story!)

Here are a dozen planned TV reboots that—even with star power and audience anticipation behind them—never managed to make it to the small screen, from Buffy the Vampire Slayerto Dawson's Creek and everything in between.

12 Famous TV Reboots That Never Happened — And Why Sarah Michelle Gellar (center) was set to reprise her role as Buffy Summers in the now-cancelled Buffy the Vampire Slayer reboot.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer

The most recent reboot disappointment comes courtesy of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which was set for a revival series over on Hulu. Reportedly entitled New Sunnydale, it would see iconic star Sarah Michelle Gellarreprise her role as Buffy Summers. Actress Ryan Kiera Armstrong (Star Wars: Skeleton CrewFirestarter) would star opposite SMG as the show's new slayer, while Oscar-winning filmmaker Chloé Zhao (Hamnet, Nomadland) was attached to direct the pilot. Exciting stuff, no?

Sadly, although the pilot had already been filmed, the streamer has put a stake through those plans, as Gellar herself confirmed this week. “Hulu had decided not to move forward with the Buffy revival. Let me tell you, nobody saw this coming,” Gellar told PEOPLE. She continued: “We had an executive on our show who was not only not a fan of the original, but was proud to constantly remind us that he had never seen the entirety of the series and how it wasn’t for him.”

Zhao has hinted at hope for the reboot's future, though, telling Variety: "Things happen for a reason, and we keep our hearts open and we welcome the mystery. And what this might lead us to.”

Hilary Duff and Adam Lamberg were to reunite as Lizzie and Gordo in Disney+'s Lizzie McGuire revival. Lizzie McGuire

Another iconic TV blonde, Hilary Duff's Lizzie McGuire was also set to be the subject of a streaming reboot back in 2020, with Disney+ reviving the beloved Disney Channel sitcom. Lizzie McGuire ran from 2001 to 2004 and kickstarted Duff's decades-spanning career as an actress and pop star. The reboot would follow grown-up versions of the show's O.G. characters in the present day.

However, the reboot was officially canceled in December 2020 due to creative differences: Disney reportedly wanted a family-friendly revival, while the show's creative team—led by Duff and series creator Terri Minsky—wanted a more "adult" focus, centered on McGuire as a 30-year-old millennial living in New York City.

"I want any reboot of Lizzie to be honest and authentic to who Lizzie would be today. It's what the character deserves," Duff posted about the cancellation news to her Instagram. "We can all take a moment to mourn the amazing woman she would have been and the adventures we would have taken with her. I'm very sad, but I promise everyone tried their best and the stars just didn't align. Hey now, this is what 2020s made of."

Series star James Van Der Beek (second from left) reportedly had a script in mind for a Dawson's Creek reboot before his death in February.

Dawson's Creek

Back in 1998, TV fans fell in love with a quartet of precocious Capeside teens via Dawson's Creek, the seminal teen soap that defined a generation and made stars out of Katie Holmes, Joshua Jackson, Michelle Williamsand the late James Van Der Beek, who died at age 48 on February 11 following a battle with stage 3 colorectal cancer.

In the wake of Van Der Beek's death, Dawson’s Creek creator Kevin Williamson revealed that the actor once had plans to write a reboot of the beloved ’90s series. "He wanted to do it. And, in fact, there was a moment where he was going to write it—and he had a really great idea for it. He had a beautiful plan," Williamson told Esquireearlier this month. "Then I think he got on a show and everybody got busy. It never happened. But there was a lot of talk about it.”

Original Murder, She Wrote star Angela Lansbury—who died in 2022 at 96—felt a series reboot would be too much to live up to.

Murder, She Wrote

One of the most influential dramas of the 1980s, theAngela Lansbury-led mystery series Murder, She Wrote ran for a whopping 12 seasons on CBS from September 1984 through May 1996 and earned its legendary star four Golden Globes and 12 consecutive Emmy nominations for her iconic performance. So any remake would have quite a lot to live up to, as NBC harshly found out when it tried to reboot the classic procedural in 2013, after Oscar winner Octavia Spencer signed on to play a hospital administrator-slash-amateur sleuth.

Though a pilot was filmed, the network ended up killing the reboot in January 2014, much to the relief of the original show's star. "I knew it was a terrible mistake. I didn't want to sully the memory," Dame Angela told BBC News, adding: "Octavia Spencer is a superb actress. She had no business being put into a situation that she couldn't win."

Though the NBC series never materialized, there is a Murder, She Wrote reboot movie reportedly in the works, withJamie Lee Curtis set to star as writer and amateur detective Jessica Fletcher.

Richard Ayoade—seen here with Chris O'Dowd—reprised his role as Moss in a failed U.S. reboot of the British sitcom The IT Crowd.

Channel 4

The IT Crowd

The IT Crowd was a hit sitcom for Channel 4 across the pond, so it seemed only natural for the Yanks to try to replicate that success with a stateside reboot. NBC attempted just that with an American adaptation of the workplace comedy in 2007, bringing over original star Richard Ayoade as Moss and adding Joel McHale as Roy, Jessica St. Clair as Jen and Rocky Carroll as Denholm to the mix.

A U.S. pilot was ordered and advertised by NBC, to be aired during the 2007-2008 season, but the sitcom never reached production. According to The Hollywood Reporter, NBC executives Ben Silverman and Teri Weinberg—who previously had success with American remakes of successful British comedies, including the Emmy-winning The Office—"didn't quite spark" to the script.

Superhero cartoon The Powerpuff Girls almost got a live-action reboot on The CW in 2020.

Cartoon Network

The Powerpuff Girls

Beloved animated series The Powerpuff Girls centers on the sweet and super-powered sister trio Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup who are regularly called upon to fight the bad guys of Townsville, USA. The show was supposed to get the live-action treatment with a reboot series on The CW back in 2020. Even the ladies were cast—with Chloe Bennet, Dove Cameron and Yana Perrault ready to play Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup, respectively. Scrubs star Donald Faison was also cast to portray Professor Utonium.

However, the pilot was ultimately benched by The CW, with network CEO Mark Pedowitz giving insight into the decision to The Hollywood Reporter. “The reason we do pilots is, sometimes things miss,” Pedowitz said. “We believe in the cast and in [writers Diablo Cody and Heather Regnier] and [executive producer Greg Berlanti] and studio Warner Bros. In this case, the pilot didn’t work...It may have felt a little too campy and not rooted in reality.

Fans finally understood exactly what Pedowitz meant when footage from the canceled pilot mysteriously leaked in March 2025. Confirmed as real by The CW, the leaked clips revealed a shockingly dark reimagining where the adult heroes resent their lost childhoods, introducing viewers to a disillusioned Blossom, a binge-drinking Bubbles and a rebellious Buttercup. After seeing the footage, fans and critics alike largely agreed that leaving this reboot in the vault was probably the right call.

"You learn things when you test things out," Pedowitz added. "We felt, ‘Let’s take a step back and go back to the drawing board.’ This is a powerful property, it engaged a lot of interest, and we want to get it right.”

Back in 2015, Craig T. Nelson (left) was prepared to reprise his role as football coach Hayden Fox in a sequel series of Coach.

ABC

Coach

For nine seasons and 200 episodes, Craig T. Nelson led ABC's popular sports sitcom Coach as Coach Hayden Fox from February 1989 to May 1997, a role he was all set to bring out of retirement in a planned NBC revival series back in 2015. The 13-episode sequel series was meant to pick up two decades after the original, with Nelson's character acting as assistant coach for his grown son—played by Andrew Ridings—who was launching a football program at the fictional Ivy League school Penn Institute.

The pilot apparently wasn't a touchdown for network executives. “We did have some creative differences, that is true,” series creator Barry Kemp told TV Insider about NBC's decision not to move forward with the reboot. “But by the same token, they also admitted that we delivered exactly what we said we would deliver. I think there were comments about it skewing older, although they knew it would. It wasn’t casting. Some millennials said it felt a little dated. It doesn’t have the rhythm of shows on now, but it wasn’t designed that way. It was designed to be a continuation of a show that was on earlier.”

Bryan Fuller tried to reboot The Munsters (starring Fred Gwynne and Yvonne De Carlo, pictured here) as a moody, modern-day series in 2012.

IMAGO / United Archives

The Munsters

There have been numerous attempts to revive The Munsters — the throwback sitcom about a family of friendly monsters, led by Frankenstein-esque dad Herman (Fred Gwynne) and vampy mom Lily (Yvonne De Carlo), that aired on CBS from 1964 to 1966—and on both the big and small screen over the years.

But one of the most notable planned reboots was 2012's Mockingbird Lane, a darker reimagining of the sweet series developed for NBC by Bryan Fuller. With a cast that included Jerry O'Connell, Portia de Rossiand Eddie Izzard, the Mockingbird pilot aired on NBC on October 26, 2012 as a Halloween special, but ended up not getting a series order by the network.

Another attempted The Munsters reboot is reportedly in the works, entitled 1313. It will be more horror-focused than its comedic predecessor, with James Wan's Atomic Monster and Lindsey Anderson Beer developing the title for Universal.

Lynda Carter (above) played the original Wonder Woman on TV; a failed NBC reboot saw actress Adrianne Palicki take on the title role.

Wonder Woman

Years before now-superstar Pedro Pascalappeared in the 2020 film Wonder Woman 1984, he was attached to another Diana Prince-related property: NBC's unaired Wonder Woman series, a 2011 reimagining of the Lynda Carter-led original series from the 1970s. With Pascal cast as Ed Indelicato, the superhero drama was also supposed to feature Adrianne Palicki in the title role, Elizabeth Hurley as the villainous Veronica Cale, Cary Elwes as Themyscira Industries CEO Henry Detmer and Tracie Thoms as Diana's personal assistant Etta Candy.

Alas, NBC chose not to golden-lasso the pilot onto its series roster, especially after early images of the superhero prompted fan backlash. "We made mistakes with [our version]," David E. Kelley, who wrote the reboot's pilot, told The Hollywood Reporter in 2013. "My only regret is that we were never given a chance to correct them. We had a lot that was right about it and a great cast. In time, we could have fixed what we had done wrong, but we just didn't get that chance."

An NYPD Blue revival would have focused on the grown son of Andy Sipowicz, played by Dennis Franz (right). NYPD Blue

In 2019, ABC was set to buff up the badges of NYPD Blue, the Manhattan-set police procedural that aired on the alphabet network from September 1993 to March 2005, making it one of the channel's longest-running and most successful series. The planned reboot was developed as a sequel pilot focusing on Theo Sipowicz (Fabien Frankel), the grown son of O.G. lead Andy Sipowicz (Dennis Franz), but was scrapped by ABC a year later.

"The main problem was that the bar was so high," ABC's entertainment president, Karey Burke told TVLine of the "heartbreaking" decision to pass on the pilot. "It was a very good pilot. On any other network, in any other circumstance, that show [likely] gets on the air. For us, we kept the bar really high. We all felt like unless we can really advance the ball from the original let's let the original rest. They did as good a job as one can do with something that is that revered."

The Alicia Silverstone-led '90s flick Clueless nearly saw a Peacock mystery reboot focused on Cher's BFF Dionne.

Clueless

In April 2025, it was announced that Alicia Silverstonewould be donning that iconic yellow plaid set once again as Cher Horowitz in a Clueless reboot series for Peacock. The sequel series will catch up with a grown-up Cher navigating life in the 2020s and it boasts some serious teen drama pedigree behind the scenes. Gossip Girl creators Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage are penning the project alongside Dollface creator Jordan Weiss, with original Clueless writer-director Amy Heckerling returning to executive produce.

As of her recent press tours, Silverstone—who will also serve as an executive producer—has confirmed the reboot is still in its "baby stages" as the creative team takes their time figuring out exactly how Cher has evolved over the decades. The star has stressed that her ultimate goal is to honor the beloved original and "not mess it up" for fans. (As for whether Paul Ruddwill return as Josh, the actor mentioned late last year that he finds the reboot "exciting" and is "curious" about it, though he's not currently attached).

Related: Here’s What Paul Rudd Thinks About the New ‘Clueless’ Sequel Show

However, it's not the first time that the beloved '90s flick has been revived for TV. Back in 2019, there was an entirely different Peacock reboot planned. Penned by Will & Grace scribes Jordan Reddout and Gus Hickey, it would have been a mystery series centered on Cher's best friend Dionne (played by Stacey Dash in the original film). When Cher goes missing, Dionne becomes the most popular girl in school and is desperate to unravel her BFF's disappearance.

Per Variety, this scrapped 2019 reboot was described as a "baby pink and bisexual blue-tinted, tiny sunglasses wearing, oat milk latte and Adderall-fueled look" into what happens when Cher goes missing. However, after reviewing the scripts, Peacock execs said, "As if!" to the reboot, as reported by Entertainment Weekly.

Both Seth MacFarlane and Elizabeth Banks have separately tried to develop adult-focused reboots of the classic cartoon The Flintstones.

The Flintstones

There have been multiple failed attempts to reboot The Flintstones over the years—including a high-profile 2011 revival by Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane—who wanted to makeover the iconic 1960s Hanna-Barbera cartoon for an adult audience over at Fox. However, a combination of middling scripts and MacFarlane's own overcrowded work schedule (Family Guy, American Dad, Ted and the like) meant that the project was put on indefinite hold in April 2012.

Another notable Hollywood star, actress-director Elizabeth Banks, also tried to reboot The Flintstones as an adult animated series Bedrock for FOX, which would have caught up with the titular Stone Age family twenty years later, as a twenty-something Pebbles (voiced by Banks) kicks off her career. However, after several years stuck in development limbo, the cartoon comedy was officially axed by FOX in 2024, as reported by TVLine.

Rare vintage photographs of Sophia Loren highlight the actress in all the charm, beauty, and confidence that made her a star.

Posted today by @historyphotographed, the nine-image carousel shows the Two Women star posing in what looks to be a garden, while wearing an ivory-toned peasant dress. Her rich auburn hair is pulled back loosely and her gaze shifts over the first three images.

The fourth image is a still from Loren’s 1963 film Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow. It shows the icon wearing black lingerie with her left hair down, one stocking pulled off and in her hand, and eyes set on whomever might be waiting for her.

Sophia Loren, the Natural Beauty

The next image reveals the actress in an even more relaxed state. Lying back with her arms up and eyes squarely on the camera, she's wearing a sweetheart-cut floral bustier and allowing her underarm hair to breathe freely.

The actress, particularly during the 1950s and 1960s, was no stranger to showing off her armpit hair, paving the way for future celebrities like Grace Jones, Madonna, Julia Roberts, and more to flaunt unshaven underarms as the ultimate confidence flex.

In Europe, grown-out underarm fluff was considered sign of natural beauty and a direct contrast to the beauty standards of the U.S.

The rest of the photos in the carousel capture Loren laughing, posing in formalwear, and perched on the seaside.

“These rare vintage photos showcase Sophia Loren in all her timeless elegance and charm, capturing the poise, beauty, and magnetism that made her a global film icon," the caption of the Instagram post reads. "Each image reveals her journey from post-war Italy to international stardom, highlighting the glamour, confidence, and presence that made her one of cinema’s most unforgettable figures.”

Sophia Loren's Secret to Staying Young

In 2020, the Golden Age actress let Haute Living San Francisco in on her secret to staying young and health.

"I have always been a person who prioritized exercise and a disciplined lifestyle in terms of physical and mental activity," she said. "To this day, I still wake up at 6 a.m. every day and go through a 45-minute calisthenics routine to start the day on the right foot and with a good frame of mind."

Where Sophia Loren Is Now

Today, Loren keeps a low profile.

One of the last times she was spotted out and about was in 2023. Following a nasty fall at her Swiss home that left her hospitalized with multiple fractures, the actress had a meal with friends in West Hollywood, People reported.

Residing in Geneva, the cinema legend celebrated her 91st birthday with her family and friends last year.
