The New Haven American Legion started its season with two games against Rhineland. Rhineland won the first game 5-0 and New Haven won the second game 7-2.
The girls kicked off the summer sessions of sports camp with basketball being served up first.
New Haven sent a contingent to this year’s state track meet. Logan Williams went for the 400m run and John Liggett for High Jump to represent the boys.
District Third-seed Principia pushed past second-seed New Haven in the District playoff. The Shamrocks were defeated 6-4. New Haven finished its season with a 6-11 record.
Gracie Steele, Emma McIntyre, Hannah Rethemeyer, and Madison Langenberg - the relay team - will be going to the state meet.
