Why You Need to Book Thanksgiving and Christmas Flights This Week, According to the Points Guy (Exclusive)
If your holiday game plan is to wait until mid-October to browse for Thanksgiving and Christmas flights, consider that strategy officially grounded.
Conventional travel wisdom usually tells domestic flyers to hold off until one to two months before takeoff to capture the best flight deals. But this year, the industry’s most trusted flight analysts are throwing out the traditional rulebook entirely.
“Normally at The Points Guy, we tell folks to book domestic trips 1-2 months ahead of time and international trips 3-6 months, but we are throwing out that advice this year and telling people to book holiday flights now,” says Clint Henderson, managing editor at The Points Guy. “Already prices are 9-18% higher year over year for the holidays and we expect prices will go up further from here.”
His urgent takeaway for anyone hoping to make it home for the holidays without emptying their savings account? “Lock in prices now and monitor the flights. If you see the price drop, you can get a trip credit for the price difference (as long as you don’t book basic economy).”
Here’s the three-part playbook to beating the holiday airfare crunch, unlocking sneaky price-drop credits, and protecting your sanity before takeoff.

The One Key Move—Book Main Cabin Now, Claw Back Credits LaterThe biggest mistake travelers make in a high-fare year is holding out hope for a sudden late-autumn fire sale. Instead of gambling on last-minute dips, secure your seat today—just make sure you skip basic economy so you retain complete flexibility. Because major U.S. carriers have eliminated change fees on standard main cabin fares, a future price drop works in your favor rather than locking you in at the higher rate.
You do not even need to spend your weekends refreshing booking engines to catch those savings. Henderson notes that automated monitoring tools can do the heavy lifting in the background. “There are even new tools like Autopilot, Junova or Paiback that will monitor your reservations for you (for a small fee) and get trip credits on your behalf,” Henderson reveals. “I’ve saved almost $1,000 this year this way! That said, if you see a deal now jump on it!”
If cash rates for your route are already giving you sticker shock, Henderson suggests taking advantage of bundled savings or tapping into your loyalty balances. “Vacation packages can save you up to 40% by combining flights and hotels,” he explains, noting that he frequently turns to American Airlines Vacations to capture package savings.
When it comes to redeeming miles, Henderson emphasizes that strategic flexibility makes all the difference. “My best advice for finding award deals holds true no matter what time of year. Add flexibility to the equation. Go where you find the deals whether that’s destination or dates,” he says. “Can you go to a secondary city? Bordeaux instead of Paris? Find the flights first. Use award search tools like Seats.aero to find the cheapest redemptions and follow the deals.”

What to Do If Your Holiday Travel Goes SidewaysSevere winter storms and packed terminals are practically a holiday tradition, and when operations collapse, wandering into a multi-hour customer service queue is the fastest way to get stranded.
“My best advice to avoid headaches, is to have a plan B in mind,” Henderson advises. “If things start to go sideways with your travel or the weather, it’s always good to have researched a backup plan just in case. Know what other airline fly the route you are on. Sometimes, if an airline is having issues, they will put you on a different airline’s flight. They don’t like doing this, but they will sometimes. It’s also why I keep a stash of points and miles so I can potentially book myself if things go really wrong.”
Speed is everything when a flight is scrubbed, which is why Henderson advocates a multi-channel attack. “If your flight gets cancelled, get on the customer service line, ping them on social media and call at the same time,” he stresses. “You want to be the first to get booked on the next available flight. Remember there is a plane full of people competing for limited available seats on alternate flights.”
If domestic phone lines are overwhelmed, Henderson recommends looking up the carrier’s overseas customer service phone numbers to bypass domestic call centers entirely. When delays drag on and rebooking options dwindle, knowing when to call it is just as vital. “If things are really bad, I would cut bait and get on the first flight out the next day,” Henderson says. “If you are having trouble getting ahold of customer service, try the airline’s social media account. I’ve had good luck with the American Airlines team on ‘X,’ for example. I follow the airlines on social media and have the airline app too so you can potentially rebook yourself and watch for additional seats to open up during irregular operations. Keep checking.”

Airport Quirks, Luggage Rules, and Card ProtectionsNavigating packed holiday airports also means understanding the quirks of major hubs and setting realistic expectations around your passenger rights. For high-volume destinations like Seattle and Orlando, travelers can bypass standard terminal logjams by taking advantage of free reservation systems. Orlando International Airport offers family screening lanes and allows passengers to reserve dedicated screening appointments up to seven days ahead, while Seattle-Tacoma International Airport runs a similar complimentary service through its SEA Spot Saver program.
Baggage mishandling is another classic holiday hazard, and Henderson cautions travelers against assuming the airline will hand over an open checkbook. “The airline is required to reimburse you for lost luggage up to $4,700 but that doesn’t mean you will get that much,” Henderson clarifies. “You’ll need to prove the value of items in the luggage. Meantime, airlines will give you a small amount to spend on essentials if your baggage is delayed. Keep all your receipts and don’t try spending a bunch and expect to be reimbursed for more than around $150.”
To protect your wallet against unexpected hotel nights or replacement clothing, pay for your reservation with a credit card that carries robust built-in trip delay, interruption, and cancellation coverage. When adverse weather grounds the fleet, airlines are rarely obligated to fund your overnight stay, making the protections on your premium travel card your most valuable travel companion of the season.
Chris Rock's Bold Plea: Why He Urgently Wants One More ‘Madagascar’ Movie
Chris Rock is ready to bring back one of the most beloved animated films from the 2000s.
The 61-year-old comedian is hoping to return as Marty the Zebra in another Madagascar movie. He spoke about the franchise in a recent interview with Variety
“I played Marty the zebra in Madagascar,” Rock said. “Everybody is really good. It’s probably the biggest movie I’ve ever been in. You know, we did three of them. I pray to God we do one more in a world where they’re rebooting everything.”
The first Madagascar film was released in 2005 by DreamWorks Animation. It was followed by Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa in 2008 and Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted in 2012. The franchise starred Rock, Ben Stiller, David Schwimmer, and Jada Pinkett Smith.
Rock joked that a fourth film would be good for his wallet following his divorce.
“Do you understand I got divorced? I don’t have Madagascar money anymore,” he said. “We only did three. There’s five Ice Ages. Five! Okay? I need another Madagascar. It’s time!”
Rock married Malaak Compton-Rock in 1996. They separated in 2014 with their divorce being finalized in 2016, 20 years after they wed.
The pair met in 1994 after the stand-up comedian crashed the Essence magazine awards. Compton-Rock was working the event as a publicist at the time, per a 1997 Rolling Stone profile. They have two daughters together, Lola and Zahra.
The former couple reunited after Zahra graduated from University of Southern California in May. Rock and his ex-wife posed in photos shared on Instagram after the ceremony.
“Congratulations, Zahra! Your mom and dad, and your entire family, are so proud of your extraordinary academic achievements,” Compton-Rock wrote in the caption. “Your lifelong love of literature led you to pursue an English degree (Narrative Studies) at the University of Southern California, where you graduated with high honors! Celebrating your accomplishments over these last few days is a memory I will cherish forever.”
1997 No.1 Pop Rock Hit, Recorded by 3 Brothers from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Reimagined 30 Years Later
“MMBop” is getting a new life, three decades after it hit airwaves and became one of the defining songs of the ’90s.
Pop rock band Hanson, consisting of three brothers from Tulsa, Oklahoma, just re-recorded the iconic ’90s smash hit, nearly 30 years later.
Taylor Hanson, who was just 12 years old when the song was recorded in 1995, now 43, stepped back into the studio to reimagine the career-defining single for a new brand partnership—officially turning “MMMBop” into “MMMBites.”
According to the press release shared with Parade, “With the original song’s 30th anniversary approaching, Taylor teamed up with King’s Hawaiian for the freshly baked rendition in celebration of the brand’s NEW Soft Swirl Cinnamon Bites – giving the longtime feel-good anthem a playful new life while celebrating a snack designed to make everyday moments a little better.”
As part of the collaboration, Hanson stars in a series of humorous spots (like the one below) showing “how King’s Hawaiian Bites make life’s less-than-perfect moments a little better – from Monday mornings to middle seats – naturally culminating in an “MMMBites” singalong.”
The new Soft Swirl Cinnamon Bites will make their debut starting Sept. 9 at major grocery retailers nationwide and will surely have you saying MMM…bop!
“MMMBop has been stuck in people’s heads as a feel-good bop for decades, and while we’ve had opportunities to reinvent it over the years, none ever felt quite right until now,” Taylor said, via press release. “We thought this was the right opportunity to give it a fresh twist with MMMBites as a fun way to celebrate a snack that’s all about bringing a little more joy to everyday life,” he continued, adding, “Hopefully people will find themselves singing – and snacking – along.”
Meanwhile, the song, the lead single from their debut album Middle of Nowhere, turns 30 on April 15, 2027.
In addition to Taylor, the signature tune included his brothers, Isaac and Zac Hanson, turning them into global pop-rock sensations almost overnight.
The major-label album, which was released a month after the single on May 6, 1997, quickly shot to No. 1 in several countries like the UK, Australia and Germany, though it peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, blocked from reaching the top spot by pop superstars, the Spice Girls.
According to U Discover Music, “MMMBop” sold 1.5 million copies in the US and over 750,000 in the UK. It reached No. 1 on the Billboard charts in 21 days, from its debut at the beginning of May 1997 to its peak position on May 24th.
“MMMBop” was a catchy earworm with an infectious chorus that became one of the defining pop hits of the late 1990s, despite getting rejected by every record company before Mercury turned it into a smash hit..
Issac, now 45, previously told The Guardian that they listened to a lot of rock and roll growing up, along with a “lot of doo-wop,” which influenced the chorus.
“We recorded it in a one-car garage, put it on an independent album and sold several thousand copies at local gigs,” he said.
Now, nearly three decades later, whenever the tune plays anywhere—including a King’s Hawaiian commercial—we can’t help but be forced to sing along.
As for Taylor, 2026 is his year, as the MMMBites release comes on the heels that he’s been cast as a contestant on the upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars. He will join the popular ABC competition show’s 35th season, partnered with professional dancer Britt Stewart.

View this post on Instagram What Have Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon Said About Working With Their Children? While working with family can be a tricky business, Kyra Sedgwick said things went smoothly on the set of Family Movie, in which she stars alongside her husband, daughter Sosie, and son, Travis.
“When you’re dealing with actors, you know, that you’re directing that aren’t your children, you’re not like going, ‘How’s their day? Are they okay?’ or ‘Can I help them with this thing?’ And I think it was really hard to separate that at times,” Kyra told Entertainment Weekly. “But I just kept trying to remind myself … I was just utterly impressed with their ability to have stuff going on in their lives and their ability to just show up on set and, like, that stays at home.”
Bacon echoed his wife, telling the publication there was a lot of “pride” to work with his kids.
“They both have an incredibly strong work ethic, a very strong concern and empathy for people and their jobs, and respect amongst crews,” he said. “So that always just makes you feel good.”

1985 One-Hit Wonder, Known as the 'Ferris Bueller Song,' Turned Into a Multi-Million Dollar Fortune
Some songs are so inextricably linked to certain movies that it’s impossible to think of one without the other coming to mind. A perfect example, of course, would be the 1985 hit “Oh Yeah” by the Swiss duo Yello, featured in the classic box office smash Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
Over 40 years later, the song still serves as pop culture shorthand for the ’80s in general; it’s been included in countless movies, TV shows and commercials over the years. And even if it was Yello’s only big hit, the song managed to make one of the band’s members extremely wealthy in the long run.
As music journalist Jonathan Bernstein wrote in Pretty in Pink: The Golden Age of Teenage Movies, “Oh Yeah” “became synonymous with avarice and lust. Every time a movie, TV show or commercial wants to underline the jaw-dropping impact of a hot babe or sleek auto, that synth-drum starts popping and that deep voice rumbles, ‘Oh yeah…'”
The ubiquitous nature of “Oh Yeah” translated to plenty of royalties for the members of Yello, Dieter Meier and Boris Blank. Meier turned those earnings into a massive investing fortune, according to the Wall Street Journal, valued at approximately $175 million in 2017. Among Meier’s diverse investments are stakes in Swiss railway company Orell Füssli AG, currency and watchmaking companies, a farm and grazing land in Argentina, restaurants and patents.
Not bad for a song that barely has any words. Interestingly enough, it was Blank’s plan to keep the lyrics simple all along.
“First I did the music and then I invited Dieter to sing along, and he came up with some lines which I thought, ‘no Dieter, it’s too complicated, we don’t need that many lyrics,'” Blank explained in the book Yello: Stella: The Story Behind the Album by Jonas Warstad.
“I had the idea of just this guy, a fat little monster sits there very relaxed and says, ‘Oh yeah, oh yeah,'” Blank continued.
CBS Photo Archive / Getty Images
“So I told him, ‘Why don’t you try just to sing on and on oh yeah?…Dieter was very angry when I told him this and he said, ‘Are you crazy, all the time oh yeah? Are you crazy?! I can’t do this, no no, come on, come on.’ And then he said some lyrics, like ‘The moon…beautiful, is this too much?!’ and I said, ‘No, it’s OK,’ and then he did this ‘oh yeah’ and at the end he thought, ‘Yeah it’s nice’, he loved it himself also. And also, I wanted to install lots of human noises, all kind of phonetic rhythms with my mouth; you hear lots of noises in the background which are done with my mouth.”
The unusual, and unusually catchy, song made such an impact that it inspired a documentary. Fittingly titled Oh Yeah!, the film debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2025.
“I am fascinated by the impact and longevity of this special song and what that says about our culture,” said director Nick Canfield, per Deadline. “A specific examination, like one song, can be the best way to reveal something larger about our society. I also found Boris Blank and Dieter Meier of Yello to be a wonderfully interesting and hilarious duo, as well as truly singular artists whose story really needs to be told to a wider audience.”
In the words of Meier and Blank…oh yeah.

2002 Leonardo DiCaprio Movie, With a 96% Rotten Tomatoes Score, Named One of the Best Movies of All Time
There are some movies we enjoy watching over and over again, and Catch Me If You Can is certainly one of them. It’s no wonder it’s ranked as one of the best movies of all time.
Rated 96% on Rotten Tomatoes, it’s not surprising to see the Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks movie sitting on the site’s best movies of all time. It comes in at No. 236, but at least it makes it, which is more than can be said for the 1999 Tom Hanks movie The Green Mile. It makes it higher up on the IMDb best movies list, sitting at No. 173.
The movie itself is based on a true story: the story of Frank Abagnale, played by DiCaprio. As a teenager, Abagnale turned to petty theft and fraud, and that grew considerably over the years, eventually leading to his arrest. The con man shared that the 2002 Steven Spielberg movie was about 80% accurate compared to his autobiography, and there are debates over some of the stories that have been told over the years.
In fact, it was one particular moment from Abagnale’s tale that made Spielberg realize he needed to make the movie. He shared in a 2003 interview that, “Getting out of the Miami International Airport with 120 FBI agents scouring that one venue–that was the straw that broke the camel’s back. And when I read that I said ˜Aw. Man if that’s true, I gotta make this picture.”
The con man does make an appearance in the movie, though. He’s actually the arresting officer in Montrichard, France. It makes sense since the story is about his life — not only how he got away with the fraud for so long, but also how he was eventually caught and would go on to help the FBI catch others.
In the end, Catch Me If You Can, which features Ellen Pompeo before her Grey’s Anatomy debut, did better with critics than with the audience. The audience rating sits at 89%, which is still respectable for a movie that is a lot of fun. It did nearly ruin a career, though, with Amy Adams not landing a role for a year after this 2002 release — much to Spielberg’s surprise. She even nearly quit acting because of it, until she landed Junebug in 2005.
The great news is that you can watch the movie about an FBI agent tirelessly tracking down a young fugitive across the world — and yes, filming involved moving to different locations — for free. Catch Me If You Can is available to stream on Tubi, as well as being available on Paramount+ with a subscription.

1966 Folk Masterpiece, Ranked One of Bob Dylan's Best Songs, Was Reimagined by Carly Simon
An overwhelming number of artists have lent their voices to some of Bob Dylan‘s most beloved songs, and Carly Simon is one of them.
The “You’re So Vain” songstress once recorded her own version of the ’60s folk track, “Just Like a Woman,” which is regarded as one of the most poignant and defining songs of Dylan’s career. It was featured on the folk icon’s legendary Blonde on Blonde album in 1966, and worked its way up to No. 33 on the Billboard Hot 100 by October 1966 of that year.
Simon delivered a stunningly smooth rendition of the Dylan staple in 2012, as part of the charity album Chimes of Freedom: The Songs of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International. The compilation album features 76 covers of Dylan songs from various artists, like Johnny Cash and Miley Cyrus, who recorded their own versions of “One Too Many Mornings” and “You’re Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go,” respectively.

“Just Like a Woman” has long been a source of debate, with some listeners criticizing the song’s lyrics as sexist — but that hasn’t stopped the song from being regarded as some of Dylan’s best work, with Rolling Stone ranking it as the No. 4 greatest song from his entire catalog.
As for Simon’s rendition, she puts her distinctive vocals at the forefront, giving Dylan’s lyrics a more intimate feel — but she is hardly the first artist to put her spin on the song.
“Just Like a Woman,” has been reimagined by other notable artists a number of times, like Jeff Buckley‘s 1993 cover (which was ranked as one of the Greatest Bob Dylan Covers of All Time by Rolling Stone Australia). Other artists with their own famous versions of the Dylan masterpiece include Nina Simone, Richie Havens, Stevie Nicks and Rod Stewart, to name a few.

Aldi’s $15 Rain Jacket Delivers a Sweet Polka-Dot Twist to Gloomy Days
Unless you live in a climate where rain is expected nearly every single day, weather has a way of sneaking up on you. One minute you’re heading out the door under perfectly reasonable skies, and the next you’re scrambling for an umbrella, debating whether that light drizzle is really worth changing your outfit for and wishing you’d remembered where you put that rain jacket. If yours has seen better days—or you somehow made it through the last few rainy seasons without one—now is a pretty good time to fix that. And I say that as someone who recently experienced a few unexpected rainy days in Los Angeles that seemed to come out of nowhere.
Rain gear doesn’t have to be a purely practical purchase. Sure, its primary job is keeping you dry, but that doesn’t mean it needs to be boring. A fun pattern or a little color can make a dreary day feel slightly less dreary, especially when the alternative is throwing on the same shapeless jacket you’ve had since who knows when.

Crane Navy Print Rain Jacket, $14.99 at AldiAldi
The good news? Aldi’s new Crane Rain Jacket in a navy print checks both boxes without asking you to spend a small fortune. It’s cute, functional and, at just $15, the kind of thing that’s easy to toss into your cart now and be very glad you have when the next rainy day rolls around.
This rain jacket comes in multiple colorways at Aldi, but it’s almost impossible not to be partial toward the navy with its light blue polka dots. It has a drawstring hood for those blustery days when you want as much rain coverage as possible, and these styles are designed in sizes that work for both women and men.
By the looks of the Aldi Finds aisle these past couple of weeks, the store is really trying to get us ready for the changing of seasons. Not only is it stocked with rain jackets, but it also has all things fall decor. There are cute ghost candy dishes and the prettiest pumpkin-shaped cake domes that will add an elegant touch to your table. If you’re looking to dress up your floors for the fall season, Aldi is selling a botanical-print runner rug that screams autumn. Basically, the store has you covered from head to toe and floor to ceiling.

Quote of the Day: 73 Years Ago, Psychologist Carl Rogers Came to a ‘Conclusion’ About the ‘Good Life,’ and We Can Still Benefit From His Findings
Many of us go to therapy nowadays, and the concept has become more accepted and less taboo to talk about in recent years. And that’s thanks in large part to person-centered therapy becoming more popularized and influencing today’s counseling; also called client-centered therapy or Rogerian therapy, it was created by psychologist Carl Rogers (1902-1987). And in our quote of the day, we’re focusing on his words about the process of having “the good life.”
Rogers is considered a “pioneering” psychologist and is an influential figure in the development of humanistic psychology, with the American Psychological Association (APA) calling Rogers “one of the founders” of it. This is an approach to psychology that was most popular in the 1940s through the 1970s and is still the basis for a lot of “widely used approaches” to psychotherapy and counseling seen today, per the APA.
Even though he initially planned to be a minister, he was inspired by psychology classes he took and by clinical work with children he did during that time. He went on to receive his PhD from Columbia in 1931, and worked as a therapist at the Rochester Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, which “laid the groundwork for the development of his client-centered approach to therapy,” per the APA.
Again, Rogers created person-centered therapy, and as Lucy Yao and Rian Kabir report in their StatPearls book, this type of psychotherapy is based on the “idea that people are inherently motivated toward” their own personal, positive mental health. In this type of therapy, the patient is considered “the expert in their life” and is the one meant to lead the “direction” of therapy.
After World War II, the need for counseling increased tremendously, as you can imagine. So Rogers and other psychologists at the time reorganized the APA, and he was elected president in 1947. He was also the recipient of the Distinguished Professional Contribution Award from the APA in 1972, for “his commitment to the whole person,” which “guided and challenged the practice of psychology.”
Quote of the Day by Carl RogersCanvaPro/Parade
“The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination.”
This quote originally comes from an essay Rogers wrote in 1953 called “The Good Life and the Fully Functioning Person,” which appears in the 1961 collection of his essays, On Becoming a Person.
Rogers writes that he’s “come to one negative conclusion about the good life,” and that’s that it’s “not any fixed state.” It can’t be equated to “nirvana,” being content, “a state of virtue” or anything of the sort. It’s also not a condition, nor is it “a state of drive-reduction” or even “homeostasis.” This is when we get our quote of the day:
“The good life is a process, not a state of being.
It is a direction not a destination.
The direction which constitutes the good life is that which is selected by the total organism, when there is psychological freedom to move in any direction.
This organismically selected direction seems to have certain discernible qualities which appear to be the same in a wide variety of unique individuals.”
Related: Quote of the Day: Abraham Maslow Had a Powerful Warning About How We Solve Problems
Deeper Meaning of Carl Rogers’s Quote—How To Find the ‘Good Life’Since Rogers was such a proponent of therapy that looked at the whole person, it makes sense that he came to this conclusion. His view is all about the journey of getting somewhere—possibly the “good life,” but really wherever—not the end-point. You can’t just arrive at the “good life,” because it’s not a state of being or a destination, as he writes. It’s all a “process,” which is felt and seen through the day-to-day trials and tribulations we go through and the good memories we make along the way.
In his essay, Rogers goes into what the “characteristics of the process” look like. They include a willingness (and openness) to “experience” things, a willingness to “live fully in each moment” and “an increasing trust in his organism” (basically trusting in your ability to maneuver through situations with common sense while taking care of yourself and making the best informed decisions). This whole concept of living this “good life” and becoming a “fully functional person” has to do with his overall study into self-acceptance and personal growth.
Whatever the “good life” means to you, Rogers is saying that you’re already living it. It’s not something to aspire to, per se, or a goal to achieve one day. It’s how you live your life and all of the experiences you have day in and day out.
And when he writes that it’s a “direction not a destination,” he’s also saying that it’s all about how you go about things, the choices you make and the “direction” of the path you go down. But to achieve this happiness, you don’t have to go to a specific place or go down a specific route to “get” there. It’s all in the journey.

More Quotes from Carl Rogers- “The very essence of the creative is its novelty, and hence we have no standard by which to judge it.”
- “We cannot change, we cannot move away from what we are, until we thoroughly accept what we are. Then change seems to come about almost unnoticed.”
- “Am I living in a way which is deeply satisfying to me, and which truly expresses me?”
- “What I am is good enough, if I could just be it openly.”
- “Life, at its best, is a flowing, changing process in which nothing is fixed.”

Exclusive First Look: Little Tikes Is Putting a Modern Spin on Their Classic Fan-Favorite Toys
Parade aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.
If you’ve ever gone shopping for a toddler’s birthday or Christmas gift, you’ve likely looked at products by Little Tikes. Just reading that name might evoke images of the classic yellow and red “Cozy Coupe” that’s synonymous with the brand. Or maybe you instantly envision the popular basketball hoops or playsets that exist in many playrooms and on countless patios.
Millennial parents, especially, feel nostalgic over these popular toys that we grew up with ourselves. However, as the years have gone by, we’ve grown and changed, and Little Tikes’ new release of indoor/outdoor products are proving that the brand is as well.
This month, Little Tikes is launching an aesthetic line of the toddler toys we know and love, giving a stylish, modern upgrade to everything from the ride-on car and hoop to their play table and wagons—and it’s known as the “Cloud Collection.”
Josh Hackbarth, Chief Marketing Officer, MGA Entertainment (the parent company of Little Tikes), tells Parade that they’re excited about the entire collection, explaining that they’re not “trend-driven toys,” but instead “playtime staples that have been part of childhood for generations.”
“Parents remember playing with them, and grandparents, aunts and uncles continue to gift them because they know they’re built to last and designed to inspire kids to play hard and dream big,” he explains. “Little Tikes has that rare multigenerational connection, and the Cloud Collection builds on it by giving families more ways to bring these beloved classics into their homes.”
He specifically calls out how the new launch has a “combination of nostalgia, lasting play value and modern design,” and with an official release date of September 15, 2026, it’s going to time up perfectly for the holidays. Below, Parade has the exclusive first look at the Cloud Collection from Little Tikes, along with preorder information, prices and more.

Why Little Tikes Is Updating Its Classic Toys for Modern ParentsLittle Tikes has been known for their colorful staple products for decades—so, why the change?
“So many parents grew up with Little Tikes and are now creating those same special playtime memories with their own children,” Hackbarth tells Parade. “At the same time, families are increasingly thoughtful about how children’s products fit within their homes and personal design preferences. We saw an opportunity to bring those two ideas together: the trusted, iconic play experiences parents remember, refreshed in a sophisticated neutral palette that complements a wide range of spaces.”
He adds, “Parents shouldn’t have to choose between toys their children genuinely love and products that feel at home in their environment. The Cloud Collection delivers both.”

A First Look at the New ‘Modern-Retro’ Little Tikes Lineup: The Cloud CollectionAccording to Hackbarth, this collection has been in development for over a year.
“We wanted the update to feel contemporary without losing the familiarity and nostalgia that make these toys so special,” he explains. “Every choice was made to strike that balance and ensure the collection appealed to parents while remaining just as exciting and engaging for children.”
Here’s a sneak peek at the Little Tikes Cloud Collection before it launches exclusively on Amazon on September 15.

Classic vs. Modern: What’s Changed and What’s Stayed the Same?“The Cloud Collection features an entirely new aesthetic,” Hackbarth tells Parade. “We’ve reimagined some of our most iconic products in a soft, neutral palette that feels fresh, elevated and right at home in today’s spaces.”
But that doesn’t mean everything has changed.
“What hasn’t changed is everything that matters most: the durability and quality of our products, all proudly made in the USA, and the active, imaginative play that has been at the heart of Little Tikes for nearly six decades,” he continues. “The Cloud Collection preserves the familiar designs and play patterns generations of families know and love, simply presenting these classics through a more modern lens.”

“Don’t worry, our classic colorways aren’t going away,” Hackbarth continues. “They will remain an important part of Little Tikes. How A.J. Brown’s Massive Contract Skyrocketed His Net Worth (2026) to Impressive Heights
Three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver A.J. Brown has made quite a name for himself in just a few seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, setting records and helping propel the team to new heights. With his franchise walking away from Super Bowl LIX with a massive victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, let’s take a look at A.J. Brown’s net worth in 2026 and how he got to where he is today.
Related: How Much Does Andy Reid Make as the Kansas City Chiefs Head Coach? Find Out His Salary and Net Worth
A.J. Brown had one of the more interesting careers as a college athlete. In 2016, before he had even headed off to college, he was drafted by the MLB’s San Diego Padres as an outfielder—that’s right, this wide receiver was also an accomplished baseball player. While this contract meant he was unable to play college baseball, Brown was still able to play college football.
Brown attended the University of Mississippi, where he played college football for the Ole Miss Rebels until the end of his junior season in 2018, when he announced he would be entering the 2019 NFL draft.
What is A.J. Brown’s net worth in 2026?As of this writing, A.J. Brown’s net worth is estimated to be around $12 million, although some reports put it at closer to double that, which seems more accurate given his recent contract extension with the Eagles (more on that below). At the very least, his star (and net worth) is likely on the rise.

For the 2019 season, A.J. Brown was drafted by the Tennessee Titans as the 51st overall pick in the second round of the NFL draft. He remained on the Titans for the 2020 and 2021 seasons. During the 2022 NFL draft, Brown was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for the 18th overall pick in the draft. Brown was able to show his worth early on, setting the Eagles’ record for most receiving yards in a debut game in a 38-35 win over the Detroit Lions.

When he was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles for the 2022 NFL season, A.J. Brown signed a $100 million contract for a four-year extension. This included $57 million in guaranteed pay. During the 2024 offseason, Brown agreed to a new three-year extension for $96 million, making him the third-highest-paid wide receiver in the NFL. He earns around $32 million each year under this new contract, which is why his net worth is likely higher than reports suggest.
When is A.J. Brown’s contract up?A.J. Brown has signed multiple contract extensions with the Philadelphia Eagles. After his most recent contract extension during the 2024 offseason, Brown is under contract with the franchise until 2029.
Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni has plenty of praise for his starting wide receiver. “[T]he man, A.J. Brown is a great, great, great person. The man A.J. Brown is the best receiver—and I’ll say it without hesitation—the best receiver that this city has ever seen.”

As one of the best wide receivers currently playing in the NFL, A.J. Brown has signed his fair share of endorsements, including with energy drink brand Accelerator Active Energy, Nike and Old Spice.
Is A.J. Brown married?Yes! A.J. Brown is currently married to former college softball player Kelsey Riley. The couple tied the knot in May 2026.
