Smash 1968 Jimi Hendrix Hit Was Originally Written and Recorded by an Iconic Folk Artist
In late 1966 throughout 1967, folk icon and legendary sing-songwriter Bob Dylan was recovering from a major motorcycle accident and spent 18 months at home resting and writing. All of the songs for Dylan's eighth studio album, John Wesley Harding, were written during this period. "All Along the Watchtower" was inspired by a thunderstorm with the lyrics featuring a conversation between a joker and a thief in the style of a sonnet.
Dylan recorded two different takes that resulted in the final version for the 1967 album. While the recording of the track was released to mixed reviews, critics did note that the song "brought out Dylan's talent for imagery."

Six months after Dylan's album release, Jimi Hendrix his band, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, began working on a recording of "All Along the Watchtower" in January of 1968. Originally the band was going to record "I Dreamed I Saw St. Augustine" but changed this to "All Along the Watchtower" after listening to reel-to-reel tapes of unreleased recordings by Dylan.
16 different tracks were recorded by The Jimi Hendrix Experience of what would eventually become the final recording. The song was released in September of 1968 as part of the studio album Electric Ladyland and reached number 20 on the Billboard Hot 100. It would become Hendrix's highest ranked single and only Top 40 hit.
Dylan was heavily moved by Hendrix's interpretation of "All Along the Watchtower" saying in 1995, "It overwhelmed me, really. He had such talent, he could find things inside a song and vigorously develop them. He found things that other people wouldn't think of finding in there. He probably improved upon it by the spaces he was using. I took license with the song from his version, actually, and continue to do it to this day."
Dylan has performed the song more like Hendrix's version than to his own original in on tour and in live performances of the song. Dylan has performed "All Along the Watchtower" more than any songs in his catalog, over 2,250 times.
In 2001, the Jimi Hendrix version of the track was given a Grammy Hall of Fame Award. His version was also ranked at number 40 of Rolling Stones' "500 Greatest Songs of All Time."

Woman Boasts About Eating 'Stinky' Chicken on a Plane and the Internet Called Her Out
Most people who fly regularly know it's a major faux pas to bring—and eat—especially smelly food on a plane. But it appears not everyone got the memo. A recent TikTok video from one young woman doing just this has been going viral, and not in a good way.
In the video, the woman films herself in an airplane seat with her tray table down, eating a container full of seasoned chicken thighs. She captioned the video: "Me facing my fears: Eating chicken thighs on the plane and the man eating cheezits in front of me screaming 'IT STINKS' but I finished them in peace bc the way I feel in my body is more important than some random guys uncomfortability with salt, pepper & garlic."
@_laurenlives_enjoy your cheezits tho
♬ suara asli - wonniech - wonniechWhat may have originally been intended as an empowering social media moment instead enraged half the internet. The comment section became a battleground of opinions, with people weighing in on everything from basic plane etiquette to body autonomy.
Related: Woman Drops Message in a Bottle and Sparks an Unexpected Friendship That Goes Viral
The Internet Weighs InThe criticism was swift and blunt. "Yeah no that's just being inconsiderate even if you are looking out for yourself," wrote one commenter. Another went harder: "Girl, garlic and CHICKEN on a plane? The way your body feels about what food you like is not more important than having courtesy towards every other person on that plane. Choose a food that doesn't smell."
Some tried to offer middle ground. "Mind you there are healthy foods with mild scents," reminded another user, suggesting she could have eaten something nutritious without subjecting her fellow passengers to the aroma of seasoned poultry.
But the most relatable take came from someone highlighting the physical reality of being trapped in a pressurized cabin: "[A]s someone with plane anxiety, there is nothing worse than the suffocating stinky food smell when on the plane. [W]e're all stuck with that air just circulating."
Another commenter summed up what many were thinking: "'I stunk up the plane and made it everyone else's problem because [I] couldn't eat this meal literally 10 minutes ago before [I] boarded.'"

The Broader ConversationThe viral video has reignited the age-old debate about plane etiquette versus personal freedom. On one side, there's the argument that self-care matters—if she was hungry and needed to eat, that's her right. On the other side is the reality that planes are shared spaces with recycled air, and when you're sitting elbow-to-elbow with strangers for hours, consideration for others becomes part of the deal.
Most people seem to agree: maybe just wait until you land.

National Park Service Issues Major Warning to All Visitors, No Matter Which Park You're Visiting
Got a national park trip planned for this holiday weekend or summer? Here's what you need to know: the National Park Service wants you to stay "bear aware." Warmer weather sends bears out foraging for food and caring for cubs, which means May through August is prime bear season in parks across the country.
“National parks are wild places, and wildlife safety is visitor safety,” said Jessica Bowron, comptroller for the National Park Service (NPS). “Simple actions, like giving bears space, securing food and knowing what to do before you enter bear country, can protect visitors and bears.”
Related: The National Park You Need to Visit, Based on Your Birth Month
While bear encounters might sound terrifying, the actual numbers are reassuring. According to the NPS, the risk of being attacked by a bear is roughly 1 in 2.1 million. Yellowstone, one of the most visited national parks with between 4 and 5 million visitors annually, averages just five bear encounters per year—and that includes incidents involving food, property damage, injuries, and fatalities combined. To put that in perspective, you're statistically safer in a national park than crossing the street in most cities.
That said, recent incidents underscore why preparation matters. In May 2026, Yellowstone reported its first bear-related injury of the season when two hikers encountered a bear near Old Faithful, and Glacier National Park dealt with a fatal bear attack. These reminders that bears are wild animals should prompt visitors to take precautions seriously.
How to Reduce Your Chances of a Bear EncounterThe NPS has released tips to help campers and hikers minimize their chances of an unwanted bear meet-and-greet: stay alert and vigilant, hike in groups of three or more, make noise in low-visibility areas with blind corners or dense vegetation, store all food and trash in bear-safe containers, check current alerts at your destination, never approach a bear, never run from a bear, and carry bear spray in areas where it's recommended.
What to Do If You Encounter a BearIf you do happen to come across a bear, use a calm, steady voice and avoid sudden movements. Back away slowly instead of running, and be sure to report the encounter to a park staff member immediately.
With millions of people heading to national parks this summer, being prepared and aware is crucial to avoiding conflict with wildlife.
Peter Jackson Finally Takes the Blame for Ryan Gosling's Exit From 'The Lovely Bones'
For nearly two decades, the story seemed simple enough:Ryan Gosling gained 60 pounds for a role, showed up looking nothing like what the director wanted, and got replaced. It was the kind of Hollywood anecdote that gets repeated, a cautionary tale about actors going rogue, delivered with just enough self-deprecating humor from Gosling himself to make it stick.
At the Cannes Film Festival on May 13, Peter Jacksonwas asked to share his version of Gosling's account during a career retrospective conversation with journalist Didier Allouch. What the Lord of the Rings director said changed the entire story.
'Anytime we recast an actor, it's actually our fault because we didn't get the casting right and we cast the wrong person for a role,' Jackson said. 'It's not because they did anything wrong. So, I'm not going to talk about individuals, but you just got to realize that what you were imagining isn't really quite happening, which means that we got it wrong and so we take full responsibility.'
He also described filmmaking as a matter of chemistry between actors, filmmakers, and the story itself. 'Ryan is a fantastic actor, as we know. Films are a chemistry,' he said.
Related: Ryan Gosling Just Revealed the 'Star Wars' Detail That Has Original Trilogy Fans Cheering
Gosling had originally been cast as Jack Salmon, the grieving father at the center of the 2009 film based on Alice Sebold's bestselling novel. Gosling told The Hollywood Reporter in 2010 that he gained 60 pounds for the role, believing the character should look the part of a distressed parent. He arrived on set at 210 pounds and quickly realized he and Jackson had completely different ideas about the character. 'I just showed up on set, and I had gotten it wrong,' Gosling said at the time. 'Then I was fat and unemployed.'
That self-deprecating line became the headline for years. But the fuller picture, as Jackson's partner and collaborator Fran Walsh described it, pointed to a misalignment that predated any weight gain. Walsh said that Gosling had told the movie's producers multiple times during pre-production that he felt he was 'too young' to play the father role. 'It wasn't until we were in pre-production and we had the cast there that it became increasingly clear. He was so uncomfortable moving forward, and we began to feel he was not right,' Walsh said. "It was our blindness, the desire to make it work no matter what.'
Mark Wahlberg ultimately stepped into the role alongside Saoirse Ronan, Rachel Weisz, Susan Sarandon, and Stanley Tucci. Ronan, who has spoken about the casting change over the years, noted that Wahlberg's age made him a more natural fit. He was in his forties at the time, while Gosling was in his twenties.
Jackson attended Cannes this year to receive an honorary Palme d'Or recognizing his contributions to filmmaking. He also confirmed he is developing a new Adventures of Tintin film and helping produce upcoming Lord of the Rings projects.
The story of why an actor left a movie before production really began turns out to be about something more fundamental than diet choices. It was two people working from different mental images of the same role, with no one catching the gap until it was too late. As Jackson put it, 'It's complicated, and usually you try very hard when you're planning the film, casting it, trying to get that gel kind of right, but occasionally we make our own mistakes.'
Hayden Panettiere Reveals She Almost Died During Childbirth
Hayden Panettiere is recalling the devastating story of giving birth to her daughter, Kaya.
The actress, 36, kicked off her acting career as a baby, racking up almost 50 commercials under her belt before she turned five years old. She later rose to superstardom on the hit show Heroes, and continued her reign on the popular series Nashville. Appearances in films like Scream 6 solidified her stardom, but there was tremendous trouble bubbling up behind the scenes. In her new memoir, This Is Me: A Reckoning, Panettiere shares all about the beginning of her stardom and the devastating stories behind her pain, which has led to substance abuse issues and mental health struggles. But in a new appearance on CBS Mornings, Panettiere told Gayle King that while she had a "wonderful pregnancy" that allowed her to "work throughout her whole pregnancy," things took a dangerous turn when it came time to deliver her baby.
"I had a really rough birth to the point where I almost didn't make it through," Panettiere told King during their intimate discussion.

Netflix Quietly Adds Acclaimed Taylor Sheridan Western Series
Award-nominated producer and writer Taylor Sheridan has been behind some of Paramount's biggest TV hits, like the critically acclaimed Yellowstone. Fans will soon get to binge-watch one of Sheridan's hidden gems, coming this June on Netflix.
According to Collider, the streaming platform is ready to add the overlooked Western drama Lawmen: Bass Reeves to its list on June 1. The miniseries was originally released in early November 2023 with an eight-episode run created by Chad Feehan. The character is also based on Sidney Thompson's two books in her Bass Reeves trilogy. Actor David Oyelowowas cast in the leading role alongside Lauren E. Banks, Demi Singleton, and Forrest Goodluck, among a larger cast. Dennis Quaid also appears in the series as a Deputy U.S. Marshal.

Shoppers Sound Off on the Groceries They're Skipping Amid Price Hikes
Between high housing costs, a rising unemployment rate, and general inflation, shoppers were already tightening their budgets, and now the war in Iran and increased cost of gas and oil is making the price of some grocery items skyrocket even further.

On Threads, real shoppers are sounding off on how higher prices are changing their grocery lists, and which items they're no longer buying as they notice costs rising.
Snack FoodsMany users mentioned skipping name-brand snack foods, with one writing, "Doritos. Because what do you mean a bag doubled in price? F--k all the way off," while another added, "10000%. And don’t forget Fritos!!! $7 for 10 chips. MY GOD."
Others simply couldn't justify buying fun "extras" when necessities cost so much. "I came home from the store today and my husband was like 'where are all the snacks?' Sorry baby, had to get gas," shared one shopper.

Prepared Frozen FoodsOthers chose to forgo their most beloved convenience meals after noticing costs had increased. "My favorite frozen pizza has gone up so much in price, it’s literally worth it to just go out to one of my local pizza joints for their Monday night special and freeze some extra square slices that freeze decently," said one shopper.
Another added, "I was at the grocery store today and noticed Hot Pockets now offer a single pocket option for sale. I haven’t bought Hot Pockets in ages but seeing that still feels…bleak." Several complained about the increased price of the Amy's frozen bowls.
BeefWith beef having already increased 17% for 2026 and jumping to 22% amid the war in Iran according to The Washington Post, it's no wonder it was one of the top groceries shoppers are skipping now.
"Used to get a flat of 5 steaks for $25. It’s $45 now on sale. We don’t buy those anymore... Oh and the USED TO? That was SIX MONTHS AGO," said one shopper, with another agreeing, "Every Sunday I’d do a beef roast in the Crock Pot. Last time I went to buy one, it was $30! Now it’s been relegated to a once-every-couple-months treat."
Others discussed how the costs would impact their 4th of July grilling plans, how a 5lb chuck roast is now more than $50 at Costco, and considered opting for a vegetarian diet to save money.
Fresh ProduceProduce is also among the items most affected by inflataion, with most items sitting around 8% increase and some even higher, like tomatoes at a whopping 29%.
"I rarely buy fresh veggies and fruit anymore. Everything goes bad so fast. We buy mostly frozen fruit and vegetables now," said one user, with another adding that "Cherries have always been pricey, but $10/lb is EGREGIOUS," and a third reporting, "I bought two regular tomatoes today… and they rung up at $8.50. TWO TOMATOES."
Now, shoppers are trying to get creative to save money on fruits and veggies. "Blueberries were $6 for half a pint. Planted my own last year so in about 7 years we can have blueberries again," said one shopper with laughing emojis.
Another added, "I rented TWO community garden plots to grow my staple veggies at this point. $50/year, and $0.50/packet of seeds, and I’m going to be okay."
SodasMany noted the price hike in bottled beverages and packs of soft drinks. "Coke is not worth a dollar a can," said one buyer, while another said, "Wasn’t that long ago they were $7.99 for a 12 pack. Now they’re $11.99."
Someone else lamented, "A 12 pack of Dr Peppers are now $10.99 when a year ago I could buy them for $3.33."
CoffeeCoffee is among the most impacted products at the moment, with a 23% increase since January 2025. Shoppers are feeling the effects, and opting to skip it. "The coffee beans we like used to be $13, now it’s $20.48... I’ll do without, said one user.
Other coffee lovers are adjusting their strategy and getting creative, with one writing, "I'm buying green coffee beans in bulk for less than $10 per pound. I roast them in an old popcorn popper."
ChocolateThe price of chocolate is even more volatile than some other items, due to ecological factors like "insufficient rainfall and crop diseases in West Africa, which supplies more than 70% of the world's cocoa," according to PBS. Pair that with the same issues other products are dealing with, and shoppers are seeing a 17% increase in the luxurious sweet treat from last year.
"Chocolate. Sorry, 3x the price 6 years ago? Nope. Give me a tin of cocoa powder and I can make a crap-ton of brownies," said one person. Another baker experienced the same sticker shock, saying, "I wanted to make chocolate chip cookies but when I went to the store, the chocolate chips were almost 10 dollars a bag."
"Chocolate chips," another agreed. "Best value for taste is Trader Joe’s. National brands at $6-9 WTAF."

Legendary voice actor Tom Kane — perhaps best known for voicing Jedi Master Yoda for the Star Warsfranchise — has died at the age of 64.
Kane passed away on Monday, May 18, his rep confirmed to TMZ.
"Though his voice may now be silent, the characters, stories, and love he gave to the world will live on forever," his rep told the outlet.
Kane's cause of death was reportedly complications from a stroke he suffered in 2020.
View this post on Instagram"But beyond the incredible career was an extraordinary man. Tom was a devoted husband and father who, alongside his wife, built a loving family of nine children — three biological and six welcomed through adoption and fostering," his rep added.
In addition to the Star Wars franchise, Kane voiced Professor Utonium in the beloved animated series Powerpuff Girls.
Kane recently reunited with the stars of the series who shared the joyous moment to social media.
"In December 2020, our Powerpuff Girls father, Professor Utonium—Tom Kane—suffered a stroke that left him unable to speak. We’re so grateful to see him again and to witness his recovery. We love you, Tom xx," EG Daily, who voiced Buttercup captioned a clip from their reunion in March.
Tara Strong, the voiced Bubbles, added, "We were SO happy…so emotional to be back with our professor. It’s been way too long beautiful friend 🩷🩵💚🤍 our hearts are filled with joy to be back together with you & to hear your beautiful voice slowly coming back brought tears to our eyes. @tkanevo you are an angel on earth, always have been."
Millennials may also recognize Kane's voice from such animated series as Kim Possible, for which he voiced Lord Monkey Fist, and The Wild Thornberrys as Darwin.
General Hospital Spoilers: Dante Issues a Bold Warning to Lulu as Josslyn Makes a Shocking Discovery
May sweeps are barreling right along, and General Hospitalis pulling out all the stops to keep fans on their toes.
The fallout from Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) learning that Rocco (Finn Carr) shot Cullum (Andrew Hawkes)—and that Lulu (Alexa Havins) had been hiding it from him—continues to heat up. Meanwhile, Cassius (Ryan Paevey) holding Josslyn (Eden McCoy) captive at Wyndemere remains a major focus, especially as she learns more about fake Nathan.
Both of those storylines are front and center this week, May 18-22, 2026. The latest preview video for the hit ABC soap teases major developments for Josslyn and Dante, as well as a new face appearing in Port Charles.
General Hospital Preview Reveals Josslyn and Lulu Work on Escape PlansThe footage kicks off with Lulu telling Dante that she’s getting things together in case she and Rocco have to “go on the run.” Lulu has their bags packed, as well as passports, ready to go if needed. One scene shows Rocco looking at the passport, which is most likely fake, considering Lulu’s plan.
Dante doesn't like the idea of Lulu taking Rocco and making him a fugitive. The police commissioner issues a brutally honest warning to his ex that Rocco will leave Port Charles over his dead body.
Meanwhile, Josslyn vows to find a way out of the room at Wyndmere where she's being held captive by Cassius. The WSB agent knows the room was not created for her and looks for clues in hopes of finding a way out.
What she finds instead is the message Anna (Finola Hughes) left when she was held captive there by Sidwell (Carlo Rotta) and Cullum last fall, before they pushed her into a breakdown. The message reads: “Anna Devane was held captive here. I was taken on 10-31-25.”
At the hospital, Nina (Cynthia Watros) is caught off guard while attempting to drug Jack (Chris McKenna) again, as he grabs her arm. Jack waking up could spell trouble for her. The preview video also teases the arrival ofJonathan Bennett as Detective Joe Fitzpatrick.
View this post on Instagram Other General Hospital Spoilers for May 18-22The video gives a detailed look at what is happening in Port Charles this week, but it doesn’t cover everything.
Friday’s cliffhanger saw Curtis (Donnell Turner) in a heated fight with Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson), sending the latter crashing through a table. The fallout of that will have a ripple effect on many in Port Charles, especially Portia (Brook Kerr) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper).
Several plans are forming this week, including one that has Carly (Laura Wright) clashing with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) gets good news about the next phase of one of her plans, which makes her very happy.
Ethan (Nathan Dean) makes Lulu a promise, while Laura’s (Genie Francis) reaction leaves Lulu stunned. Both likely have to do with Lulu’s plan to get Rocco out of town.
There’s also an update on Anna, but it leaves fans wondering if it's good or bad news. Make sure to tune in to find out!
General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC.

'Death Becomes Her' To End Broadway Run
"Death Becomes Her" will be closing its Broadway doors next month.
Announced Monday, the show, which was inspired by a 1992 cult classic movie starring Meryl Streepand Goldie Hawn, will have its final performance on June 28. The musical, which was nominated for 10 Tony Awards last year, will set out on tour in September, Variety reported.
“Bringing ‘Death Becomes Her’ to Broadway has been an incredible joy, and we are immensely proud of every artist, musician, crew member, and individual who helped make this show what it is,” Universal Theatrical Group’s senior VP of creative and strategy, Lowe Cunningham, said in a statement obtained by the outlet. “Night after night, it has been a thrill to watch audiences come together to laugh, celebrate, and embrace the wildly entertaining spirit of this production. We are deeply proud of what this show has brought into the world, and we are excited for its life to continue as it tours across the U.S. and beyond in the years ahead.”
Per Variety, the closing will come after hundreds of shows were performed at New York's Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. It became known for its wild theatrical effects that came from a $31.5 million investment.
The show starred Megan Hilty, Jennifer Simard, and Destiny's Child member Michelle Williams. Hilty starred in the show until last October and was replaced by Betsy Wolfe. Hilty and Wolfe's character, Madeline Ashton, was friend-turned-rival to Simard's character, Helen Sharp, as the two chased eternal youth.

Lindsay Hubbard Sparks Cringe-Worthy Relationship Interrogation in ‘In the City’ Premiere (Exclusive)
Lindsay Hubbard is already stirring the pot during the premiere episode of In the Citywhen she brings up engagement talk in front of Kenny Martin and his girlfriend — a topic Kenny clearly seems uncomfortable discussing.
In an exclusive clip shared with Parade, Kenny's girlfriend Whitney Fransway reveals she left Los Angeles for New York City to move in with him, whom she’s been dating for about a year. While some of the women see the move as romantic, HubHouse isn’t exactly sold on the idea.
In one group of women, Yvonne Najor calls the move “romantic to move with your boyfriend.” Gavin Moseley, who is hanging out at the bar with Lindsay, Kenny, and Lindsay's friend Ryan, says Whitney is a “doll” and “She brings the best out in him. Like, we've traveled a bunch. They don't fight.”
But Kenny admits they slowed down the relationship, “being a playboy with me,” Gavin shares. However, Kenny emphasizes he wasn't in the best headspace at the time. “My mother was passing. I went through a very challenging time. I maybe wasn't the best version of myself to come out of that,” he says.
Kenny adds, “Honestly, though, we're just kind of like seeing where this goes. Like, we love each other. She's a f—ing doll.” For Lindsay, Kenny's casual approach to the relationship doesn't sit well with her.
“She moved across the country before the ring. I think from a girl's perspective, it is a lot,” Lindsay shares. At this point, Whitney joins the conversation with her boyfriend and friends, which is when Kenny is put in the hot seat.
“Come join us,” Lindsay says, making room for everyone by the bar. “We're just grilling Kenny. Meaning I'm grilling Kenny. I'm saying it's a big commitment to move across the country for a guy.” Gavin jokes that talk of Kenny and Whitney's relationship has become a “panel.”
Kenny tells Whitney, “They're grilling me on you moving and our relationship.” Lindsay jumps in: “I said to Kenny that... In order for you to move across the entire country without a commitment such as a ring, it's a very big deal. You can't f— around with this.”
Cue the crickets because now Whitney may be wondering why she moved across the country without a bigger commitment from Kenny.
Kenny quickly says, “I'm getting I hate men vibes.” To which Lindsay replies, “I'm just allergic to, like, annoying men.”
In the City premieres on Tuesday, May 19 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
’90s Film With Hard Rock Soundtrack Ranked Among Best Classic Rock Movies of All Time
It is rare that a film has as incredible of a hard rock soundtrack as this 1991 biopic masterpiece does.
In January, Collider ranked the top 10 best classic rock movies, compiling a list of the greatest films that incorporate the genre through both soundtrack and plot. Ranked among films such as Baz Luhrmann's 2022 biopic Elvis at No. 6 and Stephen Frears' 2000 film High Fidelity at No. 9, Oliver Stone's 1991 film The Doors secured the No. 8 spot.
Released in the U.S. on March 1, 1991, The Doors experienced modest box office success, grossing $34.5 million against a $32 million budget. Although it built a passionate cult following over time, the film was initially shrouded in polarizing opinions. At the time, critics were skeptical of Stone's direction and Val Kilmer's performance as lead singer Jim Morrison, claiming that the film portrayed the rock icon as a one-dimensional character. Ironically, Kilmer's transformative portrayal is precisely what cemented the film's lasting legacy.
Val Kilmer at the microphone in a scene from the film 'The Doors,' 1991.The Doors is a biographical film that follows the meteoric rise and tragic demise of the iconic '60s rock band. The movie hones in on frontman Morrison's severe substance abuse issues and how they alienated him from his bandmates and partner. Featured throughout the film are countless Doors tracks that amplify the movie's authenticity and capture its somber themes.
The officially released soundtrack features 12 tracks, including six classic rock songs, three spoken-word pieces and one dialogue excerpt, which opens the album. The soundtrack album famously utilized original recordings to honor Morrison, omitting the vocals that Kilmer recorded for the movie itself. The record highlights massive Doors hits like "Light My Fire," "Riders on the Storm," "The End" and "Break on Through (To the Other Side)," showcasing the group's most legendary work.
After 35 years, The Doors continues to solidify its legacy in cinema. On Rotten Tomatoes, the film has earned an audience score of 79%, attesting to the power of its dedicated fanbase. The film's iconic soundtrack and stunning lead performances have made it an undeniably impactful project in the biopic genre.
