Taylor Swift Fans Are Obsessed With Her New Post-Wedding Hair Change
A month has passed since Taylor Swift married Travis Kelce during a private ceremony at Madison Square Garden, and Swifties are just as obsessed as ever with the pop icon.
While Kelce is away at NFL training camp to prepare for football season, Swift was spotted by Entertainment Tonight in London. She was seen leaving Annabel’s, a private members’ club, wearing a mini dress and a sparkly purse. Since ET posted the photos on Instagram, there’s been one detail that fans can’t stop talking about.
Swift debuted a shorter haircut that ET is calling a “post-wedding chop.” Although her signature bangs remain the same, fans are obsessed with her shorter hairdo.
“New hair, new era,” one fan commented on ET’s Instagram post.
“Mother looking amazing as always,” another said.
“She looks GORGEOUS as usual,” one user said.
To pair with her new haircut, Swift wore a mini Isabelle dress by Delphine, retailing for $995. The lilac colored dress features a sculpted sweetheart neckline and a metallic floral finish, “adding glow to every step and main-character status to every photo,” the designer wrote.
Swift’s appearance in London comes only a day after Kelce made his first comments about the Madison Square Garden wedding, saying it was the “best night of [his] life.”
“Wedding was the best night of my life, and I appreciate everybody who came out and celebrated and had fun with us,” Kelce said. “That’s about all I really got from that night. It was a crazy night. It was full of a lot of celebration.”
He continued, saying that the venue was significant to both him and Swift.
“You know, I always told myself I’d go [to MSG] for a playoff game when the Knicks were rocking, and my wife went when I was stuck in training minicamp, so I didn’t get my opportunity to go then,” Kelce said. “So it’s kind of cool to be able to live out my childhood dream of being in that venue — you know, the Mecca of all sports venues. Being able to get married in there, I can’t thank the owners of MSG [enough] for allowing us to get the opportunity to do that, knowing that we wanted a private event and everything.”
Katie Holmes’ New Romance Just Got Instagram Official—and He’s Clearly Smitten With Her
Katie Holmes just went “Instagram Official” with her new boyfriend, artist Jason Bard Yarmosky, and it’s safe to say the artist is so smitten with her.
The beloved actress, 47, rose to stardom as Joey Potter on the WB teen series Dawson’s Creek. She went on to roles in films like Batman Begins and Thank You for Smoking, and became prime paparazzi fodder thanks to her 2006 marriage to Hollywood icon Tom Cruise. While that relationship sold endless tabloids and made Holmes a paparazzi target, even after their 2012 divorce, the devoted mom of Suri has done her best to eschew the prying eyes of the camera.
While Holmes does her best to fly under the radar these days, she’s been stepping out with Yarmosky and looks happier than ever. In a new Instagram Story posted to Yarmosky’s account, Holmes stands in a stable in a cream-colored silk dress and heels. It marks the couple’s first foray into social media together, and Yarmosky seems quite smitten with the star.

What is Katie Holmes Up to These Days?Last summer, Holmes reunited with her Dawson’s Creek costar Joshua Jackson for Happy Hours, which she wrote, starred in, and directed. The dramedy, which is a trilogy, was described to Deadline as a “story about two people (Jackson and Holmes) navigating their relationship within the challenges of careers and family responsibilities and the pursuit of love, despite life’s inevitable obstacles. It’s a character-driven dramedy that explores the emotional journey of young loves who reconnect as adults, with the connective thread of shared joys, loss, and hope.”

Walmart’s ‘Compact’ $15 Rolling Hamper Is a Space-Saving Solution for Tiny Laundry Rooms and Closets
Parade aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.
What do laundry rooms, bathrooms, and closets all have in common? They’re traditionally tight on space. Between the washer and dryer, the vanity, the shelving, or the dresser, there’s rarely extra floor space to spare. And yet, you still need somewhere to put dirty clothes, towels, and linens. But don’t fret — Walmart’s current flash deal on the Bgtrend Tall and Slim Rolling Laundry Hamper With Lid will have you ditching bulky baskets for good.
For a limited time, this wheeled bin is marked down 46%, bringing it from $28 to just $15. The hamper’s compact footprint makes it easier to tuck into underutilized spots around the house, giving you a dedicated place for laundry without taking over the room or becoming an eyesore. It comes in three neutral solid shades plus three color-block options, so you can choose a version that matches your decor.
Bgtrend Tall and Slim Rolling Laundry Hamper With Lid, From $15 (was $28) at Walmart Shop at WalmartThe 16-inch-long by 8.6-inch-wide by 27.6-inch-tall profile is what makes this hamper especially useful in rooms with limited floor space. Its narrow rectangular shape is designed to slide into spots a standard laundry basket can’t, like the gap between a washer and dryer, alongside a small cabinet, or into the corner of a compact closet.
Despite its slim footprint, the upgraded 27.6-inch height gives this bin more capacity than shorter skinny hampers. And it’s not limited to laundry: The lidded basket can also corral toys, blankets, or other household odds and ends in a bedroom, bathroom, living room, or dorm.
Durable Oxford fabric with a waterproof finish helps keep moisture from soaking into the basket when you’re tossing in damp towels or clothes fresh from the bathroom. A soft lid with a hook-and-loop closure secures the top to keep laundry contained and looking tidier, while also helping keep odors from escaping and dust from settling onto the clothes inside. Underneath, a built-in polyethylene plastic (PE) board creates a firm base, while the wireframe and internal iron frame give the otherwise soft-sided basket added structure so it holds its shape instead of collapsing inward.

- Home Logic 2-Bushel Rolling Plastic Laundry Hamper With Pop-up Handle, $16 (was $20) at Walmart
Four flexible wheels make it easy to roll the hamper directly to the washer on laundry day, and one wheel includes a brake to keep it from drifting once you’ve parked it. Two side handles give you another way to move the basket, whether you’re lifting it over a threshold or repositioning it in a tight space. The combination of wheels and handles means you don’t have to drag a full hamper across the floor, while the slim build remains easy to tuck back into its designated spot afterward.
Walmart shoppers praised this “compact,” “sturdy,” and “convenient” hamper, with one calling it the “perfect laundry basket” thanks to its “great size and shape to fit in many locations.” Another reviewer summed up the space-saving design simply: “It’s narrow, yet still holds a lot of clothing.”
The wheels were another standout for shoppers living in “RVs” or “small apartments,” as well as anyone who has to transport laundry to a communal laundry room or laundromat. One reviewer appreciated that the wheels come “already attached” and “roll smoothly” across tile, hardwood, and carpet.

There’s Hopeful News for One of ABC's Best Game Shows
It was disappointing when ABC canceled its Match Game revival before the pandemic, so when it returned in 2025 with Martin Short as the host, there was a lot of chatter and excitement. Then silence!
ABC announced its fall 2026 schedule, and Match Game was nowhere to be found. It led to concerns that one of the best game shows on the network had been canceled, but fear not! Matt Webb Mitvoch got word from the network, and there’s some hopeful news.
‘Match Game’ Just Doesn’t Have a Spot on the Schedule YetA reader of Mitvoch’s Inside Line reached out with concerns that Match Game had been canceled. They noted how charming Short was as a host and hoped that it wasn’t yet another cancellation by the network. While ABC didn’t cancel much from the 2025–2026 schedule, there were always fears that not everything would make it through.
However, Mitvoch shared that while Match Game wasn’t on the fall schedule, it wasn’t all bad news. The alphabet network just didn’t have a space, but there are plans to bring it back in the future. At least, that’s the consensus reading between the lines. If there was bad news to share, Mitvoch would have mentioned it.
He specifically stated: “I am assured that Match Game, which last aired in September, has ‘definitely not’ been cancelled; ABC simply has not been able to get it back on the schedule just yet.”
What Is ‘Match Game’ on ABC?The series is a revival of the 1960s NBC game show. After cancellation on that network, it moved to CBS, where it faced some significant changes in the 1970s, but it didn’t remain there forever. After it was canceled in 1982, it moved back to NBC, and then in 1990 it ran on ABC during the daytime.
It was only in 2016 that it returned to a primetime slot, with Alec Baldwin hosting the show. However, it was canceled in 2019; the networks changed up their programming considerably the following season when the world shut down due to the pandemic, and it led to Match Game being canceled until 2025, when ABC brought it back.
It became part of the summer programming in 2025, running from July to September. While there hasn’t been an official renewal, it is happening. Of course, with Short as the host, filming is dictated by his Only Murders in the Building schedule, which is currently filming Season 6 in London, UK.
Instagram Unveils New Logo—and the Internet Already Has Jokes
Instagram just got its first logo refresh in over a decade — but users are already roasting it online.
On Thursday, Meta unveiled Instagram’s updated wordmark, with Instagram head Adam Mosseri describing the redesign as “cleaner and more modern” while paying tribute to the app’s original branding. The familiar multicolored camera icon isn’t changing, but the lettering at the top of the app has been completely refreshed.
“The wordmark at the top of the app hasn’t changed in 10 years, so it was time for a refresh,” Mosseri wrote while announcing the update on Instagram on Thursday, August 13.
It didn’t take long for users to weigh in.
Many commenters joked that the redesigned lettering is difficult to read, with several saying the new logo looks less like “Instagram” and more like “Instagzam,” “Instagwam” or even “Instaguam.”
One quipped, “Instagwam—how a toddler would pronounce it.” Others questioned whether the redesigned logo was as readable as its predecessor.
“The youth can’t read cursive,” joked one, “so I approve of the sly dig.”
Social media consultant Matt Navarra offered a more positive take, writing on X that while “design peeps are going to have a fun day tearing it apart,” he found the redesign “fresh, modern” and faithful to Instagram’s original identity.
Not all of the criticism focused on the logo itself.
Some users used Mosseri’s announcement to voice frustration over broader issues on the platform, including bots, AI-generated content and concerns over algorithmic changes limiting what followers can see.
Whether the new logo grows on users or not, one thing is already clear: Instagram’s redesign has everyone talking.
Shampooing Often Isn't Enough, According to Trichologists—Here Are the 7 Best Scalp Exfoliators
After being more-or-less ignored for decades, the scalp is finally getting the attention it deserves from the beauty industry. Beauty brands have gotten the memo that a healthy scalp is the base for healthy, beautiful hair, and now there are lots of products to help improve scalp health. But, the scalp is far more complex than most people realize.
It’s made up of five layers of tissue, contains around 100,000 hair follicles and produces sebum through the sebaceous glands in each of those follicles to condition both the hair and the surrounding skin.
A healthy scalp, according to experts, should have no redness, irritation, tenderness, odor or visible buildup. When any of those signs appear, it’s a signal that something is off—and often, the culprit is buildup that regular shampooing doesn’t clear.
That’s where scalp exfoliators come in. “Just like the face, the scalp accumulates dead skin cells, excess oil, sweat, pollution and styling product residue over time,” says Caroline Hall, trichologist and founder of R&R Aesthetics. “Scalp exfoliation helps lift away this build-up, creating a healthier environment for the hair follicles.”
Scalp exfoliators and shampoo are not the same. “Shampoo is designed to cleanse away surface dirt, oil and product residue, whereas a scalp exfoliator is designed to remove the build-up that can cling more stubbornly to the scalp,” Hall tells Parade. “Think of it as the difference between washing your face and occasionally exfoliating it. Both have a role, but they do different jobs.”
To find out which exfoliators are worth trying—and who actually needs them—we asked Hall, trichologist William Gaunitz, founder of Advanced Trichology and Vanessa Ocando, celebrity hairstylist and certified trichologist.

Physical vs. Chemical Scalp Exfoliators: What’s the Difference?Physical exfoliators contain fine particles that manually lift away dead skin and debris. Chemical exfoliators use ingredients like salicylic acid or fruit acids to dissolve excess oil and loosen dead skin cells. All three trichologists prefer chemical exfoliants as the safer, more consistent option.
“I typically prefer chemical exfoliants because they’re more consistent, less likely to create microtrauma and, generally, when used correctly, better tolerated,” Gaunitz says.
“Physical scrubs can still be useful but should always be used gently,” Hall says. Gaunitz warns caution for anyone with an inflamed, sensitive or thinning scalp: “Aggressive scrubbing can actually worsen irritation.”
What Ingredients Should You Look for in a Scalp Exfoliator? All three experts point to the same core ingredients. Salicylic acid is good for oily or flaky scalps “because it’s oil-soluble, it penetrates into the hair follicles where excess sebum accumulates,” Gaunitz explains. For sensitive scalps, Hall recommends polyhydroxy acids (PHAs) or enzyme exfoliants as gentler alternatives.
Ocando likes copper peptides for barrier repair and probiotics for scalp microbiome support.
Other ingredients worth looking for: lactic acid for gentle exfoliation, niacinamide and panthenol to support the scalp barrier, urea to soften thick scaling and allantoin to minimize irritation.
What to avoid: large abrasive scrubbing particles, heavy fragrance or essential oils on a sensitive scalp and harsh alcohols that can increase irritation.
Who Actually Needs To Exfoliate Their Scalp? Both trichologists stress that not everyone needs to do this. “If your scalp is completely healthy, I would say that you never have to exfoliate your scalp,” says Gaunitz.
Hall agrees: “If you have a healthy scalp with no concerns, exfoliation isn’t necessarily an essential step.”
The people who benefit most are those with oily scalps, people who use a lot of hair products like dry shampoo and anyone experiencing flaking, mild scalp congestion or buildup.
“It can also be helpful for those with finer hair, as removing excess build-up can leave the hair looking fresher and with more volume,” Hall adds.
For anyone with eczema, psoriasis or an actively inflamed scalp condition, both experts recommend seeking professional advice before introducing any exfoliating product.

Can scalp exfoliation help with dandruff and itching?Yes—but only when done correctly. “For dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis, scalp exfoliation can help remove excess scale, reduce oil buildup, and improve penetration of medicated shampoos or topical treatments,” Gaunitz says.
He also flags a growing TikTok trend he’s concerned about: “I see reels where people are manually removing scale from seborrheic dermatitis, and that causes bleeding and trauma to the scalp.”
“If the scalp is very inflamed, sore or actively flaring, aggressive exfoliation may make symptoms worse,” Hall warns. “Treating the underlying condition should always come first.”
Related: ‘I Stopped Fighting My Gray Hair—and It Changed How I Feel About Aging’
Does scalp exfoliation help with hair growth?“The evidence suggests that scalp exfoliation doesn’t directly stimulate hair growth in the way treatments such as minoxidil or prescription medications can,” Hall says.
“However, maintaining a healthy scalp environment may support healthier hair over time by reducing inflammation, removing excess build-up and allowing follicles to function optimally. It’s best viewed as a way of improving scalp health rather than as a standalone treatment for hair loss,” she tells Parade.
How To Apply a Scalp Exfoliator Correctly“Always apply the product directly to the scalp rather than the hair lengths, using gentle pressure rather than vigorous scrubbing,” Hall advises. “Allow chemical exfoliants to sit for the recommended time before rinsing thoroughly and following with shampoo if directed. If using a physical scrub, gentle massage is all that’s needed. Scrubbing aggressively won’t improve the results and may simply irritate the skin.”

7 Best Scalp Exfoliators, Tested by TrichologistsHere are the products experts recommend.
1. Best Scalp Exfoliator for Daily Use: BÉSSA Beauty Cooling Scalp Serum, $38Béssa
Shop It at Béssa“For daily exfoliation, I love this water-based scalp serum because it’s effective yet gentle enough for frequent use,” Ocando says. “Saw Palmetto helps lift sebum and flakes, while ginseng and caffeine support micro-circulation. Copper Peptides help repair and protect the scalp barrier, making this a great option for anyone who needs consistent scalp maintenance without over-exfoliating.”
2. Best Chemical Scalp Exfoliator: AllSkin Med Exfoliating Shampoo, $55Allskin Med
Shop It at AllSkin MedHall recommends it for its effective, multi-acid formula. This dermatologist-grade shampoo “combines salicylic and glycolic acids” to gently lift dead skin cells and unclog pores, while also soothing and calming the scalp. Suitable for all hair types including color-treated hair, it’s a solid option for anyone looking for a chemical exfoliant that doubles as a shampoo.
3. Best Physical Scalp Exfoliator:Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub with Sea Salt, $54Amazon
Shop It on AmazonThis award-winning sea salt-based scrub gently exfoliates to remove buildup and calm itchiness while rebalancing oil production. Natural sea salt crystals do the exfoliating work while bisabolol—derived from the Brazilian candeia tree “soothes the scalp,” Hall says.
It works as a shampoo on its own, so no separate cleanse is needed. She recommends it for sensitive or oily scalps needing a weekly reset.
Amazon
Shop It on Amazon“I like this scalp exfoliator because it addresses some key issues,” Gaunitz says. “It adds moisture back to the scalp with hyaluronic acid and supports the scalp microbiome with probiotics. It also uses sugar as the exfoliation method, which can be easily dissolved and leaves minimal scalp disruptions.”
5. Best Scalp Exfoliator for Dandruff or Fungal Buildup: AMOADO Rice Water Scalp Scrub, $10Amazon
Shop It on Amazon“This exfoliator would be more for someone who has buildup on the scalp related to fungus or yeast,” Gaunitz says. “It contains multiple essential oils that I like specifically for yeast and fungus control. Additionally, it also contains rice water, which can support the scalp microbiome.”
6. Best Scalp Exfoliator With Charcoal: Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal Shampoo, $42Amazon
Shop it on AmazonThis charcoal-based formula draws out impurities, excess oil and buildup from the scalp while tea tree and peppermint oils soothe irritation. Hall says it’s great for itchy, flaky or congested scalps that need serious detoxification.
7. Best Scalp Exfoliator for Deep Exfoliation: Act+Acre Salicylic Acid Scalp Exfoliator, $48Amazon
Shop It on Amazon“This is a great option for a deeper exfoliation when the scalp feels congested,” Ocando says. “Salicylic acid helps dissolve excess sebum and can loosen dry flakes, making it ideal for periodic use. Because it’s a true exfoliant, I recommend using it once every three shampoos to avoid disrupting the scalp microbiome.”
How Often Should You Exfoliate Your Scalp? For most people, once every one to two weeks is enough. “Those with very oily scalps may benefit from weekly exfoliation, while people with dry or sensitive scalps may only need it once a month or even less frequently,” Hall says. “More isn’t necessarily better, as over-exfoliating can disrupt the scalp barrier and lead to irritation.”
According to Ocando, it depends on the scrub. “Some are designed for deeper resets when congestion builds up, while others are gentle enough for daily use without disrupting the scalp barrier,” she says.
Gaunitz adds that frequency for those with dandruff or seborrheic dermatitis “depends on symptom severity and should be coordinated with an appropriate treatment plan.”
Can you over-exfoliate your scalp?“The scalp has a protective skin barrier just like the face,” Gaunitz says. “When that barrier is disrupted, people often experience increased redness, burning, stinging and itching, more flaking, increased oil production, sensitivity to shampoos and topicals, a disruption to the scalp microbiome, and in extreme cases, hair loss.”
Because she specializes in long-term scalp health, Ocando looks for formulas that are “effective, thoughtfully designed, and support long-term scalp health” rather than those that deliver a dramatic reset at the cost of the scalp barrier.

'Big Brother 28's Chuk Anyanwu Reveals He Was 'Disgusted' By Lala's Gameplay — And Why He Still Stands By It (Exclusive)
WARNING! The last sentence of this interview contains spoilers for the next Head of Household. Please don’t read to the end if you don’t want to know who the next HoH is.
SPOILER ALERT! This article contains events from the Big Brother 28 live feeds that have yet to be aired on the television episodes. Please don’t read ahead if you prefer not to know competition winners and nominees ahead of time.
Over five weeks, we’ve seen the Big Brother 28 houseguests jump everywhere from the dawn of man to the 70’s to the far-flung future. But no matter what era they resided in, it would always be “Chuk Time.” Chuk Anyanwu immediately won safety for himself on Night 1 and, reminiscent of his favorite player Corey Brooks, chose to take a backseat and be more seen than heard. It helped, of course, that he almost immediately found himself in power. He quickly found common ground with Kamu Kirk and Haley Thogmartin, which branded them the “cool kids” of the house. That trio beget the five-person “Red Corner” alliance, which then beget the eight-person “Toolshed” alliance. And they were ready to clean house.
Chuk once said that Big Brother fans only invest in the first month of the season. And, if that was true, it would be a happy ending for him. Through 30 days, the Toolshed hammered the rest of the house, taking up consecutive reigns in the HoH room. But, while the Red Corner lavished in power, the reality TV “icons” were growing antsy to corner their own allies. Four hours before the eviction, Dee Valladares and Rick Devens launched an all-out scramble, feeling that then-pawn Lyric Medeiros would be more loyal to Chuk, Haley, and Kamu than them. The result: A last-minute vote flip, cutting Lyric’s game off mid-note and shocking the trio in the process. As much as Chuk had believed he had created a finely manicured game to net him $750,000, the stench of betrayal immediately lingered in the air.

The minutes, hours, and days following this vote were outright pandemonium. Those who were left in the dark were desperate to find who had turned on them, to the point where they actually turned on each other out of paranoia and suspicion. When La Trice “Lala” Verrett won HoH, the Toolshed was out of power for the first time all season. And it didn’t take long before Kamu went kamikaze on his close allies, throwing Chuk and Haley under the bus to her. So, one day after being blindsided by his own alliance, he suffered another backstab, as Lala threw up Chuk alongside his best friend. Weeks before, Chuk told his allies in confidence he’d go after Lala, outright saying he didn’t know why she was cast on the show. Now, that very person had taken the shot first, leaving him, in his own words, “buffooned.”
Chuk was simultaneously stunned and incensed by Lala, saying her gameplay “disgusted” him. But things were about to get hairier as the week went along. Kamu chose not to use the Veto, and Chuk failed to make any meaningful pitches (despite Taylor Brown‘s tutoring attempts) to protect him and Haley. It was becoming clear this house wasn’t big enough for both the Nigerian cowboy and his number one. In the end, Chuk was undone by mismanaging his balls. Haley took home a much-needed win in the Block Buster competition, and he, near-unanimously, was given the boot.
Now out of the house, Chuk talks with Parade about his reaction to Kamu throwing him under the bus, why Lala’s gameplay “disgusted” him, and why he ultimately couldn’t take game advice from Taylor.

Let’s start with that ball-busting Block Buster. When Haley hit that last ball, what was your reaction? What did you think your chances were of staying?
So when Haley knocked that final ball off, also someone who’s a former softball player being Haley, I was like, “Yo, I have to sit next to Barrett.” And Barrett is so loved by the house. He’s a man of few words, but him being so loved by the house, I knew I was in trouble. Also, everyone sees him as a floater and not the strongest competitor. And so I knew, “Floater, super loved in the house. Everyone’s gonna use that to get them the farthest, and maybe even have to take him with them the farthest.”
So I knew I was in trouble sitting next to Barrett, but there was a small inkling in my brain where I was like, “You know what? I had an amazing alliance, and if they got together and cascaded and had all those conversations, [I could stay].” Because they were dispersing away from me and Haley all week, right? And we had to trust Kamu that they were all having certain conversations on trying to keep me in the game. But the way people would react when I would walk into certain rooms, I knew, “Okay, I am in trouble and I need to make sure I’m having certain conversations.”
Sitting next to Barrett was something that I did not want to do because I knew that the chances of me going home were high. But also, if I had sat next to Haley, the chances of her going home were high because she had an even rougher week. So it was kind of like you want to sit next to Haley because you potentially could stay in the game, but she’s we were two. We wanted to go all the way. But sitting next to Barrett, I literally was taking a chance that my alliance got together to formulate a way to save me, since we had the numbers. The Red Corner had the numbers! And so to see that downfall from just a week, it sucks, man. It surely did.
Well, let’s get into what had you facing eviction in the first place. You picked Kamu for the Veto, and after he won it, you had hoped that he would have used it on you, considering the alliance you thought you had. What was your reaction when he ultimately didn’t?
Kamu not using the veto when I know he’s a strong player and I know he had this allegiance to just our trio. Me, him, and Haley started the whole dang thing. So him not using it on me, I knew that, “This is very Kamu.” The last two weeks, he’s been very suspicious. He’s been distancing himself from us, but he does that just because he wants to make sure he clears the smoke that people don’t think that we’re working together. I think you guys have seen a few Jason’s fiascos. He would always bring up me, Haley, and Kamu’s name.
Kamu not using it hurt my heart because I’m like, “Dude, what do you mean you’re trying to save other people in our alliance? Two people that you started this game with are on the block, and the fact that you can potentially save one and let the other go into Block Buster, and if that other person doesn’t win the Block Buster, you know we can rally the votes. We have the numbers.” That told me everything about his game, and that told me, “Okay, Kamu is making a line in the sand, and we know what players he’s prioritizing.” And me and Haley already knew. But him not using it specifically on me, who chose him, I had so much doubt. I was like, “You know what, Chuk? You should have chosen Yash!” [Laughs.] If I had chosen Yash, I don’t know if Yash would have won that Veto. But if I had told Yash, I would have known Yash would have put that dang medallion on my neck because that’s crazy.
Well, I’m not sure if you’re aware. But Kamu is actually one of the reasons why you were nominated in the first place. For most of Friday, Lala was going to put up Kamu. But Kamu talked to her and threw you and Haley under the bus, saying you had been saying you would nominate her. And that was a major factor in you getting put on the block. What’s your reaction to that?
That’s news to me, but it’s nothing that surprises me. Me and Haley had our doubts. We kind of looked at all the people who went to Lala last. Lala had her sights set on three people. And it was so baffling to me. Who in the house had that much influence on Lala? Who in the house had that much information on my alliance? And there was only a few people. And Kamu was number one on our list. We also had Angela on our list, and we also had Devens on our list.
And so it was those three people. We kind of monitored who was going in and out of Lala’s room. Kamu went into Lala’s room twice, and he went really last minute too as well. So the fact that she was so dead set on her three nominations, and it was not me; I was not her target. But someone had the sheer amount of influence [to put me up]. And like I just mentioned, Kamu has a ton of influence. It does not surprise me, and it just shows how snakey people could be. Because you can see their eyes when you’re in the house and you know when they’re trying to avoid you and you know when they’re being guilty. But it is absolutely crazy to me knowing that it was Kamu. But it does not surprise me if, you guys are in that house, you can feel when someone is deceiving you! And my spidey senses, as I call them, always went crazy around certain people. And I knew like, “Yeah, this game has completely flipped on me.”
You’ve certainly had some thoughts on Lala during your time in the house. At one point, you said you didn’t know why she was put on the show. Then, after she nominated you, you said in the Diary Room that she was “delusional” and that her gameplay “disgusted” you. What made you feel that way?
If you play the game with Lala and you’ve been there with her and you’ve been there in those moments, you have seen the way she plays the game. And I’m sure everyone has seen our Tea Party, right? And truly, in that Tea Party, all my doubts about Lala came true. I love the lady; she’s phenomenal, right? 58, killing it! It truly is a game, and I had no bad things to say about her.
But in the game, she went into the game not knowing how to play the game, and she wanted us to have a truth circle. She wanted us to have a truth circle with all the houseguests to reveal all the truths. Why would we do that?! Why would we reveal our alliances?! And she asks, “How do I play this game?” And I made this kind of joke with Yash all the time. I’m like, “She almost was crying, saying, ‘How do I play this game?’ I’m like, ‘How are you asking how to play this game this far in?!'” This let me know she was confused the whole time, and I stand by that. Not to confuse it with the real world, but in the game.
And Taylor even confirmed. She was like, “I don’t even think Lala knows what she’s doing.” And when Taylor told me that when I was nominated, I knew I was completely right. Lala just got wind of new information literally minutes before she was getting ready to put people on the block. So I still stand by it. She just did not know how to play the game, and she just wanted to be the mother of the house, which we love. She made amazing dinners! She was the best. She wanted to be the mom of the house, and she always would say, when she was on the block, she was like, “Why would someone want to put me, this old lady, on the block?” This is the game! You can’t just skate by because you’re playing the mom role. So I still stand by that. I was really disgusted by how she was trying to have a truth circle and not knowing how to play this game. It’s like, “Come on, you gotta get your legs going. Let’s go!”
After Kamu doesn’t use the Veto, Taylor gives you some advice on what she believes you need to say to people to stay this week. In your goodbye message, she says, “It seems as if you don’t want to listen to anything anybody says about anything.” What’s your reaction to that?
I love it! I appreciate her giving me advice. That is great. But it was hard for me in a moment to take advice from someone who’s seen the block twice and someone who has came to me asking me what they should do. You have came to me countless times crying, saying I need to go talk to this person for you and I need to go talk to that person for you. So in that moment, taking advice from a player who I, quite frankly, did not feel was a strong competitor, competition-wise in just being able to navigate the game and form certain alliances. She tried to form countless alliances with me. I never wanted anything to be concrete, so I’d kind of just jump around the convo saying, “Yeah, we should do that,” but I never got back to it.
So [from] someone who I didn’t feel was a strong competitor, I really couldn’t take that advice. Was that good advice? Yeah, it was great advice. But when you’re in the moment, when you’re in the game, truly, you guys don’t understand that if there’s someone who’s not a strong competitor and you see they have no alliances trying to give you advice, we would label her as someone in the middle. She was someone who we knew we would have to take out sooner than later. I could not take that advice, and I kind of took her advice with a grain of salt.
To finish, give your rapid-fire thoughts on each of the remaining houseguests. Starting with Angela.
[Pause.] Snake!
Barrett.
Quiet giant.
Dee.
[Pause.] Little possum. Snaky little possum!
Devens.
[Pause.] Too flamboyant.
Drew.
[Laughs.] Lovely! Lovely, annoying.
Haley.
Fiery! She’s so fiery, fiery to a tee. Look at her red hair. I love that girl! Fiery.
Kamu.
I’m gonna call him “judge.” Because he had so much influence on that house. It’s absolutely wild.
La Trice.
Just insane. Insane of a person. I’m mad that she got me out, but insane.
Mallory.
Beast! That girl can kill.
Melody.
Can I say this one? Snake. Unfunny snake. I don’t know how she’s a comedian. Because her jokes were never funny. Unfunny snake. I knew she was gunning for me in the house. That’s why you guys saw us in the Veto going back to back. I had to give the lady a drink, but unfunny snake. I knew she did not like me, and she just could not voice it to me.
Taylor.
Just moody. She wakes up, and you don’t know if she’s going to be hot or cold. And so my word would truly just be “moody” for her. And you’re kind of walking on eggshells around her, like everyone in the house is did, and probably still is.
And finally, Yash.
Crazy! The dude is just crazy in the best way possible. He knows how to truly work a crowd, has influence in the house. I think he just needs to form some concrete alliances because I fear my boy Yash might be next up. They are coming for strong players this season, bro. They are coming for strong players, and Yash is considered a strong player. I need him to form a concrete alliance because I need him to go far. Love the guy, but crazy. Because of this guy’s “would you rather”s. If you’re in the house, you know Yosh is known for “would you rather”s. He’s always throwing the most craziest statements when the house is like dead silent. So one word would be “crazy Yash,” man! [Laughs.]
Well, I have good news for you: Yash is the new HoH!
No way! [Laughs.]

'1,000-lb Sisters' Star Amy Slaton Teases New Country Rap Song
Reality star Amy Slaton is adding singer-songwriter to her resume.

View this post on InstagramThis new song comes just a few months after Slaton married her fiancé Brian Lovvorn in October 2025. Slaton was previously married to Michael Halterman and the couple shares two sons, Gage, born in November 2020, and Glenn, born in July 2022.

As expected, fans of the reality star are excited about this new chapter.
“Love following your family’s journey and seeing how far you’ve all come. Especially inspired by your creativity and how, despite the critics, you keep being you,” one follower commented before another added, “Good for you Amy! Don’t let the haters bring you down.”

The CW Delivers Some Disappointing News for All 'Moonshine' Fans
Back in 2021, The CW brought the first season of Canadian dramedy Moonshine to its airwaves. After that, there was silence.
There have been two more seasons in Canada since then, with the series wrapping up in 2023. However, those two seasons haven’t aired on The CW, and with all the changes, fans have feared the worst. Matt Webb Mitvoch got all the details and shared them via his Inside Line post, and while it is initially bad news, there is some good mixed in.
The CW Won’t Air ‘Moonshine’ On Its NetworkThe first season didn’t perform as well as the network hoped for. In the end, it decided not to air the next two seasons of the Canadian drama.
It is possible to watch Moonshine Season 2 on The CW App. That was where the network decided to run the show, but it didn’t pick up the third and final season. Of course, that means everyone who enjoyed it has been left in limbo. Even Tubi didn’t help with only landing two seasons of the series.
He ended the note with, “The CW has no plans to air Seasons 2 or 3.”
This decision came before the huge overhaul to The CW’s programming, so it has nothing to do with Nexstar. It was simply a series that didn’t resonate with enough people.
All Three Seasons of ‘Moonshine’ Are Streaming in the U.S.While The CW won’t air the three seasons, you can watch them elsewhere. While sharing the bad news about The CW, Mitvoch did share that all three seasons are available on Prime Video. There are 24 episodes in total to binge-watch, making it a fun weekly watch as we close in on the end of the summer.
Moonshine followed a dysfunctional family, where each of the half-siblings attempted to take over the running of the family business. Think of it as a Canadian, comedic version of Succession on HBO.
Unfortunately, this series was cancelled in Canada by the public broadcaster, CBC. It didn’t get a final season order, but fear not! This is not a series that ends with multiple questions and dangling threads. The Nova Scotia-set series had a natural ending, as the Finley-Cullen family figured out how to make their lives work together.

America’s No. 1 Theme Park Just Unveiled a New Record-Breaking Roller Coaster
The longest family coaster in the Midwest is coming to Silver Dollar City in 2027. The beloved theme park, located near Branson, Mo., has revealed plans for Miner’s Mountain Express, a daring family-friendly coaster that will join the park’s line-up of award-winning attractions.
Related: A Record-Breaking Water Roller Coaster is Coming to The Midwest
Miner’s Mountain Express will soar through the sky for more than three minutes and deliver 15 airtime moments, more than any other coaster at Silver Dollar City. Designed with the entire family in mind, the minimum height requirement is just 39 inches. The ride will be located in a brand new section, Daredevil Pass, and connect riders with other must-do attractions, like WildFire, PowderKeg and The American Plunge.
“Miner’s Mountain Express invites guests aboard runaway mine cars racing across Daredevil Pass, dodging boulders, crossing rugged Ozarks terrain and plunging past a flooded mine shaft in search of a lost entrance to Marvel Cave,” Silver Dollar City shared in a press release. The coaster’s storyline is rooted in factual history as it’s inspired by the real Marble Cave Mining Company, which operated on the site in the 1880s before the cave was renamed Marvel Cave after prospectors discovered no marble at all.
“For over 65 years, Silver Dollar City has entertained our guests through fun story-based adventures,” shared Brad Thomas, president of the Silver Dollar City Company, in a press release. “This family coaster has been designed so that multiple generations of families can enjoy the mountain-themed adventure together. Annually, Silver Dollar City welcomes visitors from every state in America. In 2027 and beyond, this family coaster and our all-new resort continue our growth strategy to invite even more guests to discover the Ozarks for their vacations and getaway weekends.”

“Celebrating the grit and determination that built the Ozarks,” its architectural details take cues from the region, including weathered mining structures, rugged rockwork and the use of authentic equipment. “The ride follows the natural contours of the Ozark Mountains above Marvel Cave, a United States Registered Natural Landmark first explored by the Osage centuries ago and the place that inspired the creation of Silver Dollar City.”
“For Miner’s Mountain Express, we asked ourselves how families could step into the park’s own origin story, which literally began with a hole in the ground called Marvel Cave,” shared Erica Rutledge, senior creative director at Herschend Creative Studios. “Every building, every tool and every detail was thoughtfully designed to honor the people who came before us while creating an unforgettable adventure for today’s families.”
And of course, keeping in Silver Dollar City’s traditions, there’s a bit of lore attached to the highly anticipated new ride. It will introduce the original character Jedidiah “Jed” Campbell, a legendary mining foreman.
The new coaster will be custom-designed for Silver Dollar City by MACK Rides, who also manufactured the park’s award-winning roller coaster Time Traveler. Much of the construction and storytelling elements will be helmed by the park’s own team alongside Herschend Creative Studios.
Miner’s Mountain Express is anticipated to open Spring 2027.
For more than six decades, Silver Dollar City has celebrated its Ozarks heritage, offering a unique theme park experience that shares not only the area’s abundant traditions but thrilling attractions. It’s applauded for its standout rides, dining and hospitality, and ultimately was named America’s #1 Theme Park in the USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards.

And it’s an exciting time for the Midwest theme park resort as it’s in the midst of an aggressive expansion. 2027 will not only see the opening of the new coaster but the park’s Silver Dollar City Resort, a 262-room resort that blends the natural beauty of the Ozarks with charm and craftsmanship. The exciting openings are part of a $150 million investment in its next chapter, becoming a multi-day family destination.

60 Years Later, The Beach Boys Share the Untold Story Behind a 'Pet Sounds' Gem
When The Beach Boys gathered in 1966 to shoot promotional footage for Pet Sounds, nobody expected the day to generate one of the most iconic and beloved moments in the band’s history.
What was supposed to be a routine video shoot created a classic, behind-the-scenes gem that fans are still celebrating six decades later. There were no big budgets or detailed scripts involved. Instead, the band relied on loose home-movie camera work to capture a casual, behind-the-scenes look at the group just as Pet Sounds was coming together.
The band’s official Instagram page revisited the classic footage in an August 13, 2026 post. It gave fans a peek into the unlikely story behind the shoot.
The video caption read, “Fun fact. The ‘Sloop John B’ music video was filmed by Dennis [Wilson] at one of the Wilson brothers’ homes.”

In the playful video, the fully clothed group jumped into the pool. Then, they attempt the impossible task of fitting everyone onto one flotation device.
The post’s comments section was filled with fans who remembered just how fun this video was to watch. “Sloop John B” reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 in May of that same year.

“Is that why Dennis didn’t appear in the video?” asked one fan. “At Carl’s home,” deduced a second follower.
A third Instagram user penned, “I miss these guys, thank god the music continues.” A fourth fan concluded, “I knew it!”
One of Pet Sounds‘ most beloved tracks actually has roots back decades before The Beach Boys added their signature harmonies. As the only cover on Pet Sounds, the song originated as a Bahamian folk tune, first brought to a wider audience in author Richard Le Gallienne’s 1917 novel, Pieces of Eight.
RELATED: 1966 Overlooked Beach Boys Hit Now Considered One of the Best Rock Songs of the ’70s
According to American Songwriter, the traditional tune was originally titled “The John B. Sails.” After appearing in Le Gallienne’s novel, the song gained further traction when poet and biographer Carl Sandburg included its lyrics in his landmark 1927 folk compilation, The American Songbag.
Decades before Wilson ever heard the melody, it had already made the rounds. The Kingston Trio brought it to the mainstream in 1958 under the title “(The Wreck of the) John B,” paving the way for early ’60s covers by Lonnie Donegan and Jimmie Rodgers, as well as a 1969 rendition by Johnny Cash. By the time Wilson decided to rework the traditional track for Pet Sounds, it was nearly a half-century old.
Ultimately, the video for “Sloop John B” stands as a rare, candid snapshot of a band on the brink of reshaping music forever. Six decades later, looking back at five guys goofing around in a pool fully clothed is a refreshing reminder that even the most revolutionary album in rock history had its moments of fun.

‘I’m a Cardiologist—This Is the Simple Dinner Swap That Makes a Big Difference in Heart Health'
Everyone, it seems, is trying to get more protein. There are good reasons for that. Protein is important for feeling energized and satiated. It’s important for metabolism support and building muscle. While it is possible to consume too much protein, the amino acid is crucial for maintaining health.
It’s not just the nutrient itself that matters; how you’re getting your protein is important too. Not all sources impact the body the same way. This is especially true when it comes to heart health. This is because foods are made up of more than just one component: Some foods with protein have other nutrients that are scientifically linked to supporting the heart. But the inverse is true too. Some protein sources contain elements that are not-so-great for heart health.
With this in mind, a new scientific review shows how different protein sources impact the heart. Researchers found that making one protein swap in particular was greatly beneficial for heart health. To learn more, Parade talked with the review’s lead author and researcher, as well as a cardiologist.
Related: Looking to Get More Protein In Your Diet? These 10 Foods Pack More Protein Than An Egg
The Dinner Swap That Can Benefit Heart HealthThe scientific review, which came out last month and was published in Academia Nutrition and Dietetics, found that replacing red meat with poultry was linked to a lower risk of several heart and metabolic conditions, especially heart disease.
“This is probably mostly because poultry has less saturated fat and heme iron than red meat. Unprocessed poultry also lacks many of the compounds in processed meats, like nitrates and nitrites, which can harm blood vessels and heart health,” says David Goldman, RD, a registered dietitian and the paper’s lead author.
Related: 25 Foods That Are Good for Your Heart, From Fruits and Veggies to Heart-Healthy Nuts and Seeds
To this point, other scientific studies have shown that the nitrates in red meat can be detrimental to heart health. For example, a 2025 scientific review published in Current Nutrition Reports found that nitrates in red meat are carcinogens and impair both cardiovascular and metabolic function. It’s important to know that this is different from nitrates in plant-based foods, which are linked to lowering inflammation, increasing good bacteria in the gut and supporting heart health.
“This study about poultry replacing red meat seems to corroborate the existing science that eating less red meat, and especially less processed red meat, can decrease your risk of cardiovascular disease, even if you are replacing red meat with poultry,” says Dr. Brandon Rafison, DO, MPH, a preventive cardiologist and the medical director of SimonMed Longevity at SimonMed.

The Protein Swap That’s Even Healthier Than Eating Poultry Instead of Red MeatThough swapping red meat out for poultry may support your heart, that doesn’t mean you should eat chicken for dinner every night. In fact, researchers found an even more beneficial swap than replacing red meat with poultry: replacing red meat with plant-based proteins.
“In general, poultry is better for heart health than red or processed meat, but it’s not as healthy as plant-based foods like nuts, beans or whole grains,” Goldberg says. He emphasizes that beans, lentils, nuts and whole grains had the best results in their analysis. “These foods provide fiber, healthy fats and plant compounds like phytosterols, which aren’t found in meat. Studies show that eating these plant-based foods leads to much lower levels of harmful cholesterol compared to eating red or white meat, which both raise cholesterol to a similar degree.”
Dr. Rafison says that it’s important to know that both authors of the analysis previously consulted for the Soy Nutrition Institute Global, but even with that caveat, he adds that there is a connection between a diet high in plant-based proteins and lower LDL cholesterol, which supports cardiovascular health.
Additionally, plant-based protein sources don’t have the cholesterol that meat has, which is one reason why they’re so good for the heart. Plus, plant-based proteins have lower saturated fat and higher fiber content, which are both beneficial for heart health.
Related: 7 Foods Cardiologists Always Eat for Heart Health
What About Fish?Okay, so replacing red meat with chicken is good for the heart, but replacing it with plant-based proteins is even better. What about fish? “Fish is generally similar to poultry in terms of risk, but the effects depend on the specific health outcome,” Goldberg explains of what the analysis found.
For example, he says that swapping poultry for fatty fish was linked to a lower risk of heart attacks in women. “However, we also found that replacing poultry with fish was linked to a much higher risk of cardioembolic stroke. So, fish and poultry are not always interchangeable when it comes to stroke prevention.”
With all that in mind, Goldberg emphasizes that food choices exist on a spectrum. “Asking, ‘compared to what?’ is usually more helpful than simply calling foods healthy or unhealthy,” he says.
Both experts add that poultry should be seen as a transitional food away from eating red meat as a primary source of protein; not the ultimate destination.
“Poultry is best seen as a step in the right direction when moving away from red meat, not as the final goal. Making small, realistic changes, like switching out some of the red meat we eat to poultry or from a portion of the poultry we eat to plant proteins, can have real benefits for long-term health,” Goldberg says.
There’s nothing wrong with enjoying a steak or burger once in a while. But the science is clear that red meat shouldn’t be your main source of protein night after night. There are so many other delicious—and beneficial—proteins to experiment with.

1976 Classic Rock Song May Have Accidentally Inspired Nirvana's Biggest Hit
When Nirvana burst onto the scene in 1991 with “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” people were utterly blown away. It conveyed a feeling only briefly captured by Alice in Chains just a year earlier with “Man in the Box”—a raw, grungy, angry feel that awakened an entire movement. No one would really ever consider that it could be influenced by Boston‘s 1976 classic rock, almost pop, jam “More Than a Feeling.” But the two are more linked than you may realize.
In the ’90s, Nirvana pioneer Kurt Cobain appeared to reject “the mainstream” as fervently as possible, but made a conscious decision to pop-ify their breakout hit, as reported by Ultimate Classic Rock.
Related: ‘90s Alt-Rock Legend Opens up About His ‘Mysterious’ Purple Hand
How “Smells Like Teen Spirit” Was “Inspired” by Boston’s Biggest Hit“It was such a cliched riff,” Cobain told Rolling Stone in a 1994 interview. “It was so close to a Boston riff or ‘Louie Louie.’ When I came up with the guitar part, Krist Novoselic looked at me and said, ‘That is so ridiculous.’ I made the band play it for an hour and a half.”
He even admitted that when writing the hit, his goal was to write the “ultimate pop song.”
Two years earlier, Cobain really played into the comparison, starting “Smells Like Teen Spirit” with the opening riff from “More Than a Feeling,” a sly smile etched across his face.
As for the composer of “More Than a Feeling,” Boston band member Tom Scholz, he never took offense to it whatsoever. In an interview with MusicRadar, Scholz said that whether the nod was intentional or a direct diss to Boston, he was still rather flattered.
“Regardless, Nirvana was, from what I’ve heard, a great band. I was really impressed by the couple of things I heard. Regardless of what the context was, it’s an honor to be heard in the same airspace as Nirvana.”
Overall, the riff strategy worked; the song has been etched into the minds and hearts of rock music fans ever since, and despite his reputation as a “whiny, sad” rock star, Cobain was extremely thankful for the life it afforded him at the time.
“I still see stuff, descriptions of rock stars in some magazine — ‘Sting, the environmental guy,’ and ‘Kurt Cobain, the whiny, complaining, neurotic, bitchy guy who hates everything, hates rock stardom, hates his life.’ And I’ve never been happier in my life. Especially within the last week, because the shows have been going so well — except for tonight. I’m a much happier guy than a lot of people think I am,” he claimed in the Rolling Stone interview.
He tragically died from a reported suicide just months later.

Camp Rock 3 premiered on Disney Channel and Disney+ this week, 18 years after the original film introduced the world to Mitchie Torres and Shane Gray. Fans have plenty of thoughts on how the threequel holds up, and they’re split right down the middle.
5 Reasons to Skip It
The pacing feels rushed. The most common complaint centers on how much the movie tries to cram in. One fan described it as “very rushed and overall all over the place,” with too many characters and not enough time spent on any of them.
The new songs don’t stick. Several viewers said none of the original tracks felt memorable, with one calling a key number “boring on the chorus.”
The editing is disorienting. Fast cuts and choppy transitions left more than one fan feeling unwell. “I felt like I was watching Cocomelon,” one viewer wrote, while another said the pacing left them “dizzy like I was motion sick.”
The mean-girl trio falls flat. Fans compared them unfavorably to genre classics like Mean Girls‘ Plastics, calling the new group “annoying and uninteresting” and lacking any real charm.
The autotune is heavy-handed. Multiple viewers flagged the vocal processing as a letdown, with one calling it “borderline unbearable” in places.
4 Reasons to Watch It
Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers are back. For longtime fans, seeing the original stars return was the emotional high point of the movie. “I loved seeing Demi Lovato back… and the Jonas Brothers,” one fan wrote.
“One Beat Away” is a genuine standout. Multiple commenters singled out the track as the best original song in the film, with one calling it “by far the best song from this one.”
Liamani Lopez is turning heads. Her performance as Lumi during the Final Jam sequence won over skeptics, and fans are already comparing her to Ariana Grande, saying Disney would be “stupid not to” push her further.
Desi and Sage’s sibling duet delivers. Their onscreen chemistry and shared performance were called out as one of the film’s best moments, with fans saying the pair “carried the whole movie.”
Given the divided reception, Camp Rock 3 looks likely to spark debate for a while yet, especially among the generation that grew up on the original.
NSYNC Member Shares 'Honest Truth' Why The Group Won't Reunite For Tour
Joey Fatone is sharing exactly why he thinks his iconic boy band group, NSYNC, won’t reunite anytime soon.
“All of us have to be on the same page, which we are not, and that’s not a negative thing,” he shared during a recent interview, along with band member Lance Bass on Today on SiriusXM, explaining that they’re all in different stages when it comes to their personal lives.
View this post on Instagram“I have two daughters, 25 and 16. I’m ready to party and have a great time,” he said. “[Bass has] got young kids. Justin [Timberlake]‘s got young kids. Chris [Kirkpatrick] has a young child.”
He then joked that JC Chasez “is the smartest one” because “he has a dog, no kids.”
“But the thing is, is when I was young, when I was 23 years old, touring with NSYNC, I had my child, and it wasn’t easy,” he recalled. “So I can only imagine if the three of them were to go on tour with multiple [kids]…Yes, it would be fun. Yes, it would be great. But then you have your your spouses and your other people saying, ‘You need to come home because I need your a– here, because you need to help me with this, this, this, this, this, this.'”
“It’s very tough,” he added.
The 49-year-old, also shared that by the time he had his second daughter, the band was not together at the time and he “spent a lot more time” with his family. “So I would never take those years away from them,” he said. “And that is the honest truth for me.”
However, Bass chimed in with a possible remedy for bringing the group, and their families, together.
“Or you just do a summer tour and bring them on the road,” he said.
While rumors of a reunion have been floating around for years, and members of the group have come together for appearances, — Fatone and Bass have also taken on projects together, including their upcoming hosting gig of E!’s Cocktail Wars — a reunion tour has never come to fruition.

Following her death, her cousins thanked everyone for their support and shared that the fund raised would be used by her parents to pay for medical expenses. At the time of this publication, more than $50,000 was raised by the campaign.
“We are truly heartbroken by this news. However, we would like to continue to remember Jessica and celebrate her achievements, passion, and dedication to golf,” they wrote. “Her sense of humour, together with her cheerful and vibrant personality, will always be remembered and treasured by our family.”

1965 Hit, Recorded by a 19-Year-Old Future Legend, Began 3-Week Run at No. 1 61 Years Ago Today for Sonny & Cher
In 1965, a 19-year-old singer who had spent her teenage years singing backup for some of the biggest names in pop music stepped into the studio to record a song that would change her life.
That singer was Cher, and the song was “I Got You Babe.”
On Aug. 14, 1965, Sonny & Cher’s signature duet began a three-week run at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. It would become the duo’s only No. 1 hit in the U.S. and help transform two struggling young artists into international stars.

Cher had only turned 19 on May 20. She and future husband Sonny Bono recorded “I Got You Babe” at Gold Star Studios in Hollywood on June 7, just 18 days after her birthday. The three-hour session featured an arrangement by Harold Battiste and members of the famed Wrecking Crew backing band.
The song was written and produced by Bono, who had spent years working with legendary producer Phil Spector. Cher had also sung backup on Spector productions, including the Ronettes’ “Be My Baby” and the Righteous Brothers’ “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin’.”
But the path from Gold Star Studios to No. 1 wasn’t nearly as obvious as the song’s eventual success might suggest.

Sonny Bono Was Sure ‘I Got You Babe’ Was a Smash… Cher Was NotIn “The Billboard Book of Number One Hits,” music historian Fred Bronson recounts that Sonny & Cher had signed with Atco Records after recording together under other names. Their first Atco single was supposed to be “Sing C’est la Vie,” but the label instead released “Just You.”
Then Bono wrote “I Got You Babe” at their Laurel Canyon home. According to Rolling Stone in its readers’ poll of the Greatest Duets of All Time, where “I Got You Babe” is ranked No. 9, Bono wrote it in response to a Bob Dylan hit.

“Less than a year after Bob Dylan released his caustic ‘It Ain’t Me Babe,’ Sonny Bono decided to write what’s essentially a response song. He’d recently fallen madly in love with Cher and Dylan’s words just didn’t speak to him,” wrote Rolling Stone. “The song was an enormous smash, hitting Number One in the summer of 1965. It kicked off a long run of hits that eventually lead to a variety series, though they divorced in 1975.”
But while Bono was convinced from the outset that he had a hit on his hands, Cher wasn’t so sure.
In an interview on The Late Late Show in 2018, Cher recalled how Bono thought he had a hit on his hands, but when he played it for her that night, she thought it was terrible and went back to bed.
“It sounded like not a hit song,” she told host James Corden.
But Bono had other ideas.
According to Bronson, Bono recorded the song quickly and was convinced it was a smash. He sent the recording to Atlantic Records executives Ahmet Ertegun and Jerry Wexler, but Ertegun preferred another song, “It’s Gonna Rain,” and wanted that released instead.
Bono was convinced they were backing the wrong record.
He took “I Got You Babe” directly to Los Angeles radio station KHJ, where program director Ron Jacobs promised to play it once an hour in exchange for an exclusive.
“He did, and it was an immediate smash,” Bronson writes.
Within weeks, there was little doubt about which song was the hit.
“I Got You Babe” first entered the Billboard Hot 100 in July 1965 before reaching No. 1. It also topped the charts in the U.K. and Canada and sold more than 1 million copies in the United States.

‘I Got You Babe’ Changed Sonny & Cher’s LivesBronson sums up the impact of the record succinctly in “The Billboard Book of Number One Hits.”
“‘I Got You Babe’ changed their lives,” he writes. “Two struggling artists became international superstars, their eccentric, hippy style of dress copied everywhere.”
The success wasn’t confined to one single. Sonny & Cher’s debut album Look at Us reached No. 2 on the Billboard album chart, spending eight weeks in that position later in 1965. By September, the album had sold 1 million copies.
More hits followed, including “Baby Don’t Go,” “The Beat Goes On,” “All I Ever Need Is You” and “A Cowboy’s Work Is Never Done.” At one point, Sonny & Cher had five songs simultaneously in the Billboard Top 50, a feat that had only been achieved by The Beatles and Elvis Presley up to that point, according to the New York Times.
But none of those subsequent Sonny & Cher singles matched “I Got You Babe” at the top of the Hot 100. It remained the duo’s sole No. 1.

Why ‘I Got You Babe’ Has LastedDecades after its release, music critic Dave Marsh included “I Got You Babe” at No. 228 in his book “The Heart of Rock & Soul: The 1001 Greatest Singles Ever Made.”
Marsh didn’t pretend the record was sophisticated. In fact, he argued that the youthful simplicity of Sonny and Cher’s performance was part of its appeal. Beneath the young couple’s declarations of devotion, he heard something emblematic of what rock and roll had brought to pop music: “a sense of democracy, fun, and possibility.”
And he distilled the song’s message into one memorable sentence: “Love redeems everything.”

“I Got You Babe” continued finding new lives long after 1965. In 1985, UB40 and Chrissie Hynde released their own version, which reached No. 1 in the U.K. and No. 28 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Cher revisited the song again in 1993, this time with Beavis and Butt-Head, and that same year, the original Sonny & Cher recording became an integral part of Groundhog Day, waking Bill Murray’s Phil Connors every morning as he found himself trapped in the same day over and over again.
Sonny & Cher themselves had one more memorable chapter left with the song. On Nov. 13, 1987, the former couple unexpectedly reunited on Late Night with David Letterman and performed “I Got You Babe” together. It proved to be their final performance as a duo.
More than six decades after a 19-year-old Cher recorded it, “I Got You Babe” remains the song most closely associated with the partnership that made her a star.
