What Travis Kelce's Ex-Girlfriend Kayla Nicole Was Doing While He Married Taylor Swift
Kayla Nicole is busy chasing sunsets.
Amid her ex, Travis Kelce's, star-studded wedding to Taylor Swift over the weekend, the model and podcaster, 34, took to her Instagram Story to share her colorful view from a high-rise building.
In the photo, Kayla, who appeared to be enjoying a night in, showed off a shot of the speckled sky as the sun set on July 3, the same night the NFL star, 36, tied the knot with the "Love Story" singer, also 36, inside New York City's Madison Square Garden.
"Look at her," the Pre-Game With Kayla Nicole podcast host wrote via her Instagram Story.
Kayla and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end dated for five years before going their separate ways in 2022. While she's discussed their breakup over the years, in a recent TikTok Live with Love Island USA alum Ace Greene, she hinted that the reason her last relationship ended "could be compatibility issues."
"It's been a long time," Kayla, who said she's sworn off athletes since her split from Travis, shared. "Right person, wrong time."
Travis, meanwhile, moved on in 2023 after attending one of Taylor's Eras Tour stops in Kansas City. While they didn't meet at the concert, the pair linked up soon after, following a cheeky shoutout from Travis on his and brother Jason Kelce's New Heights podcast.
And the rest is history, with Taylor and Travis going public with their romance in September 2023 when she attended her first Kansas City Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium. The pair went on to get engaged in August 2025, with the proposal taking place in a rose garden at Travis' home in Lee's Summit, Missouri.
"Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨," the couple's joint post announcing the happy news read.
The wedding, which came less than a year after Taylor and Travis' engagement, saw 1,000 guests in attendance, including the couple's close friends and family. Taylor's brother, Austin Swift, served as her man of honor, while Jason stood by Travis' side as his best man.
Portugal Star Cristiano Ronaldo's Last World Cup Ends in Heartbreak as Spain Advances
Cristiano Ronaldo's World Cup dreams have come to a heartbreaking end as Portugal fell to Spain in the Round of 16 on Monday, July 6.
Spain's Mikel Merino netted the game-winning goal in the 97th minute. And with that, Ronaldo had tears in his eyes as he walked over to the Portugal fans in attendance behind the goal.
Thank you for all the memories, Cristiano Ronaldo 🥲 pic.twitter.com/iXRRpy2NQ8
— FOX Sports (@FOXSports) July 6, 2026Before the match, Ronaldo announced that the 2026 FIFA World Cup will be his final one.
"It's about enjoying it as much as possible," Ronaldo told reporters on Sunday, July 5. "This will be my last World Cup, but let's hope tomorrow isn't my last game."
"The day will come [when I retire from international football]. But I'll be honest. Whatever happens tomorrow, Cristiano will leave with a clear conscience, not 100%, but 1000%. Because I've given everything in football. I don't need it, I have a good life, but it's about passion. I play football because I love it... You have to enjoy every day. And I've scored three goals [at this World Cup], I'm not doing too badly, right?"
During his career, Ronaldo played in six of the World Cup tournaments - 2006, 2020, 2014, 2018, 2022, and 2026. And with that, he became the first player to score in six World Cups after his goal against Uzbekistan in the group stage.
"It's been fantastic," he said. "It goes beyond the pitch... This is the World Cup I'll remember the most, because of people's passion. It's even more this time, I don't know why. It's been, emotionally, the best. I've enjoyed it very much."
He has 232 caps for Portugal, having scored 146 international goals.
Fans reacted to Portugal's loss, celebrating Ronaldo's career.
"The goat is who you feel in your heart is, and I feel in my heart Ronaldo is. Unfortunately age can’t be beaten, and that’s the sad truth, the fact that he kept on chasing is what makes me respect him so much. Thank you Cristiano Ronaldo," one person wrote.
"Legends never retire. They live forever through the memories they create. Thank you, Cristiano Ronaldo," another fan expressed.
1984 Ballad Showed the Softer Side of a Rock Icon and Became His First Top 10 Hit
In 1984, Billy Idol was known for bleach-blonde spiky hair, leather, and rebellious rock anthems. Almost no one expected him to release a dreamy, haunting ballad. But the unlikely creative gamble — a song called "Eyes Without a Face" — paid off, becoming Idol's first Top 10 hit and one of his signature songs decades later.
With hits like "Rebel Yell" and "White Wedding," the English rocker cultivated the image of MTV's sneering bad boy. But "Eyes Without a Face" proved he could balance that rebellious edge with surprising vulnerability.
"Eyes Without a Face," written in partnership with guitarist Steve Stevens, had a moody, atmospheric sound, softer vocals, and even the repeated French lyric, "Les yeux sans visage (eyes without a face)." The dreamy synthesizers and prominent bass line gave the song a more ethereal feel than fans were used to hearing from Idol.
He later described the song as an "anti-love song" during "Vevo Footnotes: The Making of ‘Eyes Without A Face’." "I think I was just deliberately trying to write not a love song cuz the '80s was full of love songs, all drippy, soppy love songs. So I thought maybe I'll just write an anti-love song." Then he added, "It's almost a murder song. That's what I was thinking about. Something like a serial killer."
In his memoir, Dancing with Myself (2014), Idol also pondered the emotional backdrop for the song, a time when rock star superstardom made him feel disconnected. "Perhaps I was reflecting on my own touring infidelities. In a way, those [types of relationships] can leave you feeling soulless, especially if you're already in a relationship that you value but are degrading by looking elsewhere for additional sexual kicks."
Idol explained he had always been fascinated with old movies, and drew the song title from the 1960 French film Les Yeux Sans Visage (Eyes Without a Face), directed by Georges Franju.

This creative evolution certainly paid off for Idol. Released in April 1984 as the second single from Rebel Yell, "Eyes Without a Face" climbed to No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 that July, becoming Idol's first Top 10 hit. It remained on the chart for 22 weeks.
The surreal music video for the song, which was in heavy rotation on MTV in the early '80s, further solidified the song's status as a classic of its time. In setting the tone for the music video, Idol again drew on his love of old films and said he garnered influence from movies made 100 years prior. The vision for the video, with its dark, sexy visuals and Idol's iconic rebellious fist pumps, matched the mysterious mood of the song perfectly.
More than 40 years later, Billy Idol's music continues to resonate with fans, and his songs remain a staple on classic rock radio. Today, the song has more than 828 million streams on Spotify alone. Idol and Stevens were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in April 2026, and his music is now reaching a new Gen Z audience.

"Eyes Without a Face" proved Billy Idol was more than a punk rocker with attitude. The haunting ballad paired emotional depth with his iconic snarl and swagger, and fans rewarded him with the biggest hit of his career to that point.

Legendary '80s Guitarist, 60, Suffers Hard Fall At Concert
No matter how much of a professional you are, mishaps are still liable to happen, even when you're one of the best performers out there. At a recent Guns N' Roses concert, legendary guitarist Slash took a pretty hard fall mid-song.
This comes during Guns N' Roses' current summer tour, which sees them headlining stadiums and arenas all over the country. With that comes rehearsals, practices, and tech runs that will do their best to make the show run as smooth as possible. Turns out though, you can't prepare for everything.
Slash fully rolled over on the ground mid-performance, and somehow managed to play it off like nothing happened. The guitar was fine, he was fine, and the song continued on like normal. Impressive stuff.
@snug.n.rosesSlash falls on stage during the last show in Paris. #gunsnroses #slash #duffmckagan #axlrose #gunsnroses🌹🔫
♬ son original - SNUG N’ ROSESLike I said - super hard fall. It's incredibly impressive that at his age he's able to shake it off like that, and turn it into a lighthearted accident instead of something more serious. Bassist Duff McKagan coming to check on Slash after is also a really nice touch.
Fans were blown away by the events of the concert, taking to the comments to show their shock at what they just witnessed.
"At his age, he recovered from that fall magnificently."
"He went from Slash to Splash then back to Slash!"
"Slash is 60...not a bad quick recovery for his age. I'm 53 and would be still laying on the stage."
On a night filled with so much great musicianship and so much talent, the most impressive thing ended up being his ability to shake off a nasty fall and get right back into it. It really showcases how important resilience is to performing night after night for all these years. Thankfully, Slash was okay and he was able to give a great rest of the show.

Published in March of 2025, Sunrise on the Reaping is the second prequel and the fifth installment in the massively successful Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins. The Hunger Games series has become beloved for its deeply applicable social commentary and how it has withstood the test of time for a novel in its years post-publication.
Sunrise on the Reaping sold 1.5 million copies within its first week of publication, making it the biggest release of the Hunger Games franchise. The book went on to be a number one worldwide bestseller, and the second bestselling title of 2025 just behind Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros.
Now over a year later, readers are still devouring Sunrise on the Reaping and it is even ranked among the "Most Read Books of the Year" on Goodreads. Since the beginning of 2026, readers have shelved the novel over 470,000 times.
View this post on InstagramSunrise on the Reapingis set roughly 24 years before the first novel in the series, and follows a then 16-year-old Haymitch Abernathy of District 12 in Panem. On the reaping day for the 50th Annual Games, the Capitol reveals they'll be reaping double the amount of tributes from the respective districts. When another boy runs from the reaping, Haymitch is forced into the games after he protects his girlfriend, Lenore Dove, from the Peacekeepers. While training for the games and within the arena itself, Haymitch fights for not only his survival, but also to not give in to the manipulation done by the hands of the Capitol.
Collins has stated that her inspiration behind the novel was submission, propaganda, and ideas from Scottish philosopher David Hume who said, "the easiness with which the many are governed by the few." She also set out to explore the notions of power within media, and further elaborate on the "real or not real" themes from the first novels.
A film adaptation of Sunrise on the Reaping was announced to be forthcoming from Lionsgate and director Francis Lawrence. Joseph Zada will star as Haymitch Abernathy. Filming took place in the summer of 2025 in Spain and wrapped in Berlin in November of that same year.
Sunrise on the Reaping is available now wherever books are sold. The film version will release on November 20, 2026 in theaters.

Victoria Lee Robinson's Temporary Restraining Order Against Tom Sandoval Denied
Victoria Lee Robinson filed a restraining order against her ex Tom Sandoval, claiming that he had been physically violent with her in the past, TMZ reports.
However, that request has been denied.
The restraining order was filed on Thursday, July 2, with Robinson claiming that Sandoval had been physical with her, including on the date of the June 3 fight at the Hollywood Hills rental home where the couple had been living with Robinson's father. Another incident allegedly occurred on August 30, 2025, when Sandoval "shoved her down hardwood stairs," which caused “visible injuries” to her knees, according to TMZ. She added that he was verbally abusive, calling her "stupid," "dumb," and "a coward."
According to official court documents obtained by Page Six regarding the June 3 incident, Sandoval alleges the fight occurred after a night of drinking, beginning when he got into an altercation with Robinson’s father. He is “claiming her father grabbed him and punched a hole in the spare bedroom where the reality star had barricaded himself.” He then says Robinson went into the room and punched him in the face, injuring his neck and ear.
Sandoval added that the hit from Robinson was so hard, it “caused his vision to blur.”
“I sustained a bruise near my temple and eyebrow ridge and bled from my ear and neck as a result of [Robinson] striking me that night,” he said, per the outlet. “The pain in my mouth persisted for two weeks, which prompted me to visit the ER to be evaluated.”
Robinson was arrested and released on the same day. Sandoval filed a temporary restraining order against Robinson and her father, which was granted. Robinson's father has also filed a restraining order against Sandoval after video footage showed Sandoval shoving Will, which caused him to fall over a lit fire pit.
Delta Plane Hit By Fourth of July Firework Over Chicago Midway
A Delta Air Lines flight was struck by a firework as it landed at Chicago’s Midway Airport on Saturday, after severe weather cancelled many of the Chicagoland area’s Fourth of July festivities.
Flight 1076 landed safely after a mortar exploded beneath the plane as it descended 250 feet over the runway. No emergency measures were required, and the plane was able to taxi to its gate with nearly 60 passengers and crew aboard. The aircraft was inspected, and only minor damage to the paint was found before the Airbus A319 returned to service.
“Tower, we just had a firework hit our plane, Delta 1076, we're continuing," the pilots told air traffic control. "We’re just hoping it was just a mortar that went off underneath, but definitely felt a big bang.”
Midway Airport is surrounded by a “bungalow belt” of residential developments that grew rapidly in the 1920s, around the time former farmland was filling in with factories and industrial parks. Today, the neighborhoods of Archer Heights, Garfield Ridge, West Elsdon and Clearing still hug what was once one of the busiest airports in the country before Chicago O’Hare opened in the 1950s.
Related: Chicago Will Be Harder To Fly Into This Summer
These neighbors were among those lashed with rain on Saturday, with some areas receiving up to two inches. Severe weather impacted Fourth of July festivities throughout Chicagoland, flooding streets, shrouding Navy Pier in fog, and cancelling official fireworks shows in Roselle Huntley, Aurora and other suburbs. Evidently, the illegal fireworks displays that have become a Fourth of July tradition, not only in Chicago but many other metro areas, were not postponed by citizen organizers near Midway.
Severe weather was a theme across much of the United States this Fourth of July weekend. Organizers of the Freedom 250 anniversary in Washington D.C. were forced to postpone multiple events, including President Trump’s official address and the Fourth of July fireworks display, due to severe heat and storms. Attendees were asked to leave the Freedom 250 Fairgrounds for several hours on Friday, and others were evacuated from the National Mall to shelter in surrounding buildings, including the National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC).
The District also cancelled the official Independence Day Parade due to temperatures between 110°F and 115°F. That decision came on the heels of heat-related illnesses and cancellations in cities up and down the East Coast, much of which was under a punishing heat dome last week. Over 100 train enthusiasts who waited hours to see Union Pacific’s famous Big Boy locomotive in Pennsylvania on Friday succumbed to heat-related illnesses.
Related: 10 Years Before Route 66, This Highway Crossed the U.S. and You Can Still Drive It Today
The hotly anticipated Big Boy stop in Philadelphia was cut short this weekend, with the display closed early on Sunday afternoon after officials got nervous about attendees repeating the “mass casualty” event in Reading when bottled water began to run low. The City of Brotherly Love had already cancelled its Independence Parade, All-American Block Party and other major events on July 4, although both participants and observers had traveled from around the country and even internationally to attend.
Meanwhile, hot and dry weather in the Mountain West forced states like Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska and New Mexico to cancel their fireworks due to dangerous drought conditions. Colorado alone cancelled almost 60 official fireworks programs due to ongoing wildfires, including the Snyder Fire near Grand Junction that recently took the lives of three firefighters and injured two more.
Fortunately, the errant firework at Chicago’s Midway did not add to the hundreds of heat-related illnesses and over a dozen deaths attributed to extreme heat and weather nationwide in the lead-up to a sweltering Fourth of July and Semiquincentennial.

The legendary Disney Parks ride has always had an incredibly classy, macabre aesthetic that has become popular during the Halloween season. In particular, the Victorian ghostly gaze motif, ornamented against the deep purple hues based on the work of Haunted Mansion interior designer Tania Norris, is the biggest design highlight of the collection. The Disney Imagineer recalled that its origin came from being unable to find a suitable wallpaper for Walt Disney's original New Orleans mansion-inspired attraction.

"I couldn't find a spooky one," Norris told Disney Parks on Instagram, recalling how her team, which included fellow Haunted Mansion Imagineers Rolly Crump and Claude Coats, worked closely together to bring the haunted ride to life with visually stunning gothic glamour.

View this post on Instagram‘80s Metal Band Pays a Powerful Tribute to the Late ‘Godfather of Heavy Metal’
‘80s metal band Metallica just wrapped up their M72 World Tour on Sunday in London, and in an emotional on-stage moment, bassist Robert Trujillo paid tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne.
One year ago, on July 5, Osbourne performed his final show at Villa Park in Birmingham, England. It wasn’t lost on the band that they were playing in England one year later.
“A year ago today was a very important event,” Trujillo said. “Back to the Beginning, Black Sabbath and so many other people. Someone just gave me this right now, and it's pretty powerful,” Trujillo held up a sign and said, "It says, 'Do It For Ozzy.'"
But Metallica didn’t just honor Osbourne with words. They also wanted to honor his legacy with music.
"So we've got a little bit of a mashup here,” Trujillo said. “Oh yeah. Ozzy, we love you and we miss you brother. So let's do this. Let's figure it out. It's a mashup of our two favorite bands and you're gonna get it in a minute."
The metal band played Black Sabbath’s “Electric Funeral” from their album Paranoid, mashed up with Sex Pistols’ “Holiday in the Sun.”
View this post on InstagramOsbourne died nearly one year ago, on July 22, 2025. In the death certificate obtained by The New York Times, it said that the singer died of “(a) Out of hospital cardiac arrest (b) Acute myocardial infarction (c) Coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease with autonomic dysfunction (Joint Causes).”
“It’s impossible to put into words what Ozzy Osbourne has meant to Metallica,” the band posted in a statement on Instagram after Osbourne’s death. “Hero, icon, pioneer, inspiration, mentor, and, most of all, friend are a few that come to mind. Ozzy and Sharon [Osbourne] believed in us and transformed our lives and careers. He taught us how to play in the big leagues while at the same time being warm, welcoming, engaging, and all around brilliant.”

Frankie Valli's Brother Shares Surprising Take on Clint Eastwood's 'Jersey Boys'
Frankie Valli's brother is getting candid about the 2014 film Jersey Boys.
Now, more than 10 years after the Clint Eastwood-directed film hit theaters, Bobby Valli is sharing his thoughts on the movie, which told the story of The Four Seasons, the musical group his brother rose to fame with.
While the film saw Frankie and original band member, Bob Gaudio, serve as executive producers, Bobby feels it fell short.
"I don't wanna poo-poo anything, because the play did $2 billion," Bobby said during a recent appearance on the Nostalgia Tonight with Joe Sibilia podcast, comparing the success of the film to the Broadway production of the same name. "The movie wasn't a big success. I thought that they didn't portray the story properly in the movie. They made it almost like a musical."
As for what he believes should have been done differently, Bobby said he feels the film should have been grittier and even suggested having someone like "Francis Ford Coppola or one of those kind of producers" in the driver's seat.
"It should have been more like almost a Goodfellas story, with music. Because a lot of the mob people owned all the clubs, and they didn't portray that undercurrent [in the film]," he added. "They made it a little too much like Wonder Bread, I would say. That was the only thing I didn't like about the movie. The whole concept was incredible."
Bobby also shared his thoughts on the musical, which he credits his older brother with helping make happen.
"My brother is the reason why that play happened. He brought that play all around the country, and nobody wanted to do the play," Bobby shared. "The success of the play was absolutely incredible. And it catapulted my brother into a position where he may have never have been."
While The Four Seasons, who first stepped onto the scene in 1960, have been touring for more than four decades, the band is taking a step back. Frankie, now 92, announced last month that he and the band would be canceling the remainder of their 2026 tour.
View this post on InstagramThe "Sherry" singer took to Instagram on May 29 with the announcement, telling his followers that he and the rest of The Four Seasons would not be continuing their The Last Encores farewell tour due to health reasons.
"I'm so sorry to disappoint the folks who have purchased tickets to my shows, but I have decided to take the rest of the year off from touring to focus on my health," Frankie wrote alongside a photo of himself onstage.
"I'm looking forward to getting healthy and seeing you all again soon. Thank you for all your good wishes," he added.
In-N-Out Is Opening 6 New Locations in 5 States—Find Out Where
If you’re a fan of classic hamburgers and cheeseburgers, hand-cut French fries, and milkshakes, In-N-Out might be the fast food chain of your dreams. The small-but-mighty menu at the California-born burger joint doesn’t have rotating innovations like some of its competitors, instead focusing on a small selection of quality ingredients.

And of course, then there’s the not-so-secret secret menu. Though these items aren’t listed on restaurant menus, In-N-Out fans have popularized certain combinations so much that the chain even has a section all about them, from Protein Style, where you get your burger wrapped in lettuce instead of on a bun, to Animal Style, which comes with grilled onions and In-N-Out’s signature spread, on its website.
But In-N-Out’s dedication to freshness also means that if you live too far from one of the chain’s three burger patty-making facilities (two are in California and one is in Texas), you’ll need to travel to try their menu items. “All of our ingredients are delivered fresh to our stores. In fact, we don’t even own a microwave or freezer,” says In-N-Out.

That being said, In-N-Out does have plans to open six new locations in five states, including another Tennessee location. California is getting two restaurants in Commerce and Stockton, while San Tan Valley, Arizona, and St. George, Utah, will soon have new In-N-Out restaurants, as will Madison, Tennessee, and Twin Falls, Idaho.
As evidenced by the urgent pleas on the chain’s social media presence, where seemingly every post has comments from fans begging for a location to open in their city, state, and even country, In-N-Out is in demand. Ask an Alzheimer’s Researcher: What Does the Science Really Say About Slowing Cognitive Decline?
Alzheimer's disease is, unfortunately, incredibly common. The most common cause of dementia, Alzheimer's affects 7.4 million older adults in the United States and approximately one in nine people over age 65.
While the vast majority of Alzheimer's cases have a strong genetic component (studies show genetics are estimated to account for up to 80% of the risk variation), lifestyle factors can play an outsized role in slowing cognitive decline and even preventing Alzheimer's.
When it comes to prioritizing brain health, Dr. Dylan Wint, MD, medical director and neurologist at Cleveland Clinic, says it's never too early and never too late. "The 'ideal' time is really from birth, but you'll get the most 'bang for the buck' in terms of the lifestyle factors between ages 50 and 70," he tells Parade.
That said, you always have some control over your brain health. "You can delay cognitive decline, and you can slow down the rate of cognitive decline if it occurs, by taking action," he says. "There's no easy answer or 'secret' that the medical community is hiding or suppressing, but you may have more control than you think."
Below, Dr. Wint shares his top tips for preventing and slowing cognitive decline, plus what to know about cognitive testing and treatment options.

Research has shown that adopting a healthy lifestyle can slow cognitive decline by up to 60%. But what does a "healthy lifestyle" mean as it relates to brain health? Dr. Wint says that when your goal is to slow the progression of cognitive issues, you should keep four different factors in mind.
"First, aim for regular physical activity, so 150 minutes per week of moderate aerobic exercise," he tells Parade. "Aggressive management or elimination of vascular risk factors—like diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia or smoking—is also key."
And don't forget about sleep. "Ensuring proper time, duration and quality of sleep is crucial," he explains. "And finally, aim for high amounts of cognitive stimulation and cerebral input. This includes correcting any hearing and vision loss."
And in thinking about prevention, Dr. Wint says his top tip is eating a Mediterranean-style diet, which is packed with brain-benefiting omega-3 fatty acids, fiber and antioxidants.

Signs You Should See a Doctor About Your Brain HealthAccording to Dr. Wint, a cognitive screening with a research-backed, validated test is recommended every two years after age 65. But there are also specific signs to watch out for.
"Rapid, complete forgetting (blanks in the memory) is a sign," Dr. Wint says. "Decline in ability to communicate, impaired judgment and reasoning or getting lost going to familiar destinations also mean you should see a doctor."

As Dr. Wint emphasized, there's no big "secret" that the medical community is hiding—but there are more medication options than there used to be. Anti-amyloid antibody treatments, such as donanemab (Kisunla) and lecanemab (Leqembi) are given via intravenous (IV) infusion to clear sticky plaques. In milder cases, this can help slow cognitive decline.
That said, "medication depends on the stage of diagnosis and the specific cause of their cognitive impairment," Dr. Wint says. You can work with your care team to find out if you or a family member is a candidate for either of these medications.
No one wants an Alzheimer's diagnosis, and finding out a loved one is suffering from cognitive decline is often incredibly painful. Having someone to lean on for emotional support is key, whether that's a family member or a mental health professional. But Dr. Wint emphasizes that an early Alzheimer's diagnosis is not the end of the road. "You have some control," he says.

This ‘70s Music Icon Turned Down Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's Wedding Invitation
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce'swedding guest list was packed with A-list names, but one music legend decided to sit this one out.
As fans spent the weekend tracking celebrity arrivals at New York City's Madison Square Garden, the legendary ‘70s singer-songwriter quietly revealed that he had received an invitation but decided not to attend.
During his annual Independence Day weekend concert with his All-Star Band at Tanglewood in Lenox, Massachusetts, James Taylor shared that he and his wife, Kim, had been invited to the couple's July 3 wedding. "You know, Kim and I were invited to a wedding at Madison Square Garden tonight," Taylor, 78, told the audience, according to The Berkshire Eagle.
The performance is an annual occurrence for Taylor and his band, which is seemingly why he turned down Swift’s invite. But he took a moment to wish the newlyweds well, hoping they would enjoy "happiness and smooth sailing."
Taylor wasn't the only notable name absent from the festivities. According to Us Weekly, Blake Lively andRyan Reynoldsreportedly were not invited following Swift and Lively’s rumored falling out. Harry Styles and his fiancée Zoe Kravitz (who is also friends with the Grammy Award-winning singer) were also unable to attend because he was performing at London's Wembley Stadium on his Together, Together tour.
For those inside MSG, the celebration featured no shortage of memorable moments. According to People, guests were treated to surprise performances from Paul McCartney, who performed the Beatles' No. 1 hit "I Want to Hold Your Hand," as well as Stevie Nicks, a longtime friend and mentor to Swift.
Actor Adam Sandlerofficiated the ceremony and later drew praise from Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, who revealed Sandler's simple marriage advice for the couple: "Keep kissing."
The excitement even spilled onto the streets outside Madison Square Garden. Videos circulating online showed Swiftiescrowding around a bakery van they believed had delivered desserts to the reception. Although there's no confirmation the pastries were actually connected to the wedding, one lucky fan walked away with a treat after an officer handed over a box to the crowd from the van.

1970 Folk Rock Hit That Charted No. 1 for Weeks Is Actually Cited as One of the Big Reasons an Iconic Duo Split
When Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel joined melodic forces, folk music was changed forever, and it all started in the fourth grade. Simon first laid eyes on Garfunkel in their Queens, New York, elementary school and, according to Gold Radio, realized it would be the best way to get girls interested. That primitive motivation was all it took to birth one of the greatest American folk duos ever to grace the airwaves.
But despite their delightfully simplistic, somewhat endearing beginning, their end was full of much more bitterness, jealousy, and a hit song no one would ever think could be part of their undoing.
By 1970, "Bridge Over Troubled Water" had debuted after a tumultuous recording session, and it would ultimately be one of the final nails in the coffin of their friendship.
“We were really best friends up until Bridge over Troubled Water,” Simon said in the first episode of the MGM+ documentary series In Restless Dreams: The Music of Paul Simon, according to The Independent. “[Afterward], it didn’t have the harmony of the friendship… that was broken.”

When Problems for Simon and Garfunkel Began EmergingAfter the wild success of their soundtrack for The Graduate, Garfunkel landed a role in the film adaptation of Catch-22, taking it on amid their work on Bridge Over Troubled Water.
“Artie said, ‘Yeah, the way it’s going to be is that I will do movies for six months, then I’ll come back, you’ll have written the songs, and we will do the album,’” Simon elaborated in the documentary. “And I thought, ‘Yeah? Actually, no. That’s not gonna happen. I am not gonna do that.’”
Part of the problem, according to Simon, was that their partnership was heavily "uneven," with him feeling he did most of the heavy lifting as the band's songwriter. It got even more complicated when filming for the movie ran over, and Simon supposedly demanded that pieces of the upcoming album be sent to him, rather than leaving to actively work on it with Garfunkel.

How Bridge Over Troubled Water's Success Meant the Band's DemiseAside from the writing and recording strains, Simon, in general, didn't believe it was a strong song. According to Smooth Radio, the songwriter wrote it quickly and didn't think much of it. However, producer Roy Halee saw its potential and convinced him to write a third verse, turning it into a grand production. Simon thought it was far too grandiose for his "little hymn" and reportedly thought it was "too long, too slow and too orchestral to be a hit single."
The recently deceased Clive Davis, who was at Columbia Records at the time, believed in its mass appeal and made it the single and title track of the album. Much to Simon's shock, it catapulted to the top of the Billboard charts and stayed at No. 1 for weeks.
Simon also admitted to feeling jealous of Garfunkel's vocals on the track. After watching the crowd give Garfunkel a standing ovation after a live performance, he admitted to thinking, "I wrote that song." Simon claimed, according toFox News, "Or maybe it was my perfect Freudian trauma. My mother said to me once, ‘You have a good voice, Paul, but Arthur has a fine voice.’"
Shortly after that, the group disbanded, and the two stopped speaking for decades. Though they had crossed paths, it wasn't until 2024 that the two met for a healing lunch, which brought them back onto speaking terms.
In an interview with The Times, Garfunkel said, “I actually had lunch with Paul a couple of weeks back. First time we’d been together in many years. I looked at Paul and said, ‘What happened? Why haven’t we seen each other?’ Paul mentioned an old interview where I said some stuff. I cried when he told me how much I had hurt him. Looking back, I guess I wanted to shake up the nice guy image of Simon & Garfunkel. Y’know what? I was a fool!
“We’ve made plans to meet again. Will Paul bring his guitar? Who knows. For me, it was about wanting to make amends before it’s too late. It felt like we were back in a wonderful place. As I think about it now, tears are rolling down my cheeks. I can still feel his hug.”
While it's been two years since the two reunited and we've yet to get a reunion song, die-hards are still holding out hope.
Milo Ventimiglia Welcomes Baby No. 2 With Wife Jarah Mariano — See Their Baby's Unique Name
Milo Ventimiglia is now a proud father of two!
The This Is Us alum, 48, and his wife, Jarah Mariano, have welcomed their second child together, a son. The model shared the happy news on Instagram on Monday, July 6.
The post featured a sweet black-and-white photo showing Mariano's hand, Ventimiglia's hand, and their 18-month-old daughter Ke'ala Coral's hand all holding onto the newborn's tiny fingers. A second photo showed the happy family in their backyard, with Mariano, 42, cradling her baby boy while Ventimiglia played with their daughter. The family dog, Duke, was also included in the photos, sitting in front of his favorite humans.
In addition to sharing the adorable photos, Mariano revealed their little one's unique name: Rock-Anthony Makoa Ventimiglia. While she didn't detail the meaning behind the moniker, the mother of two did share some insight into the couple's first moments as a family of five.
"These last couple of weeks have been chaos, but in the best possible way. Welcome back home, Rock-Anthony Makoa Ventimiglia," Mariano captioned her post. "Can't wait for all of the adventures ahead with our family of 5!"
View this post on InstagramRock-Anthony's arrival comes a year and a half after Ventimiglia and Mariano welcomed their daughter in January 2025, not long after the actor and his wife were forced to evacuate their home amid the devastating Los Angeles wildfires.
It was while celebrating Ke'ala's first birthday earlier this year that the couple revealed they were expecting their second child.
And though Mariano didn't directly address her second pregnancy in the post, the photo — which showed her holding her daughter at the beach while showing off her baby bump — served as the couple's official announcement. Calling motherhood the most "unique" love she's ever experienced, the proud mom gushed over her firstborn while sharing her hopes for her daughter's future.
"Happy 1 year, baby girl. When you came into my life I had 2 distinct thoughts, one immediately after the other—I would die for you in a heartbeat, but now I also have to live as long as I possibly can to be around to make sure you're safe," Mariano wrote in the caption.
She continued, "This is the most unique love I've ever experienced, just as unique a soul as you are. In a world with so much fear and hatred, I know that you will bring your radiating light everywhere you go to make it a better and brighter place for those around you. I love you, Ke'ala Coral, forever. x Mama."
View this post on InstagramVentimiglia, meanwhile, spoke to People last month ahead of welcoming the couple's second child and shared his excitement about his growing family, which also includes the pair's "100-pound firstborn," Duke.
"At this point, I'm completely outnumbered in the babies-to-wife-to-husband ratio," Ventimiglia quipped, telling the outlet that the couple were "very happy" to be expecting another baby.
"I'm most excited for my daughter to have a sibling, someone to grow up with," he added.
Pat Sajak’s Retirement Just Took an Unexpected Turn
Pat Sajak may be retired but he's still got jokes.
The former Wheel of Fortune host took to X on Monday, July 6, to share something funny with his followers.
"Now that I’ve been off TV for a while, I thought I could walk anonymously through a mall. It worked at first, but then someone yelled, 'Hey, it’s Pat Sajak!' Then I was surrounded by people. 'How are you?' 'We miss you!' It was a bit of a circus," Sajak wrote before the punchline. "I’m almost sorry I yelled."
X users found the post extremely funny and many
"Pat, you must be a hoot to hang around! I'd roam the mall with you any day my friend! We could hit up the Orange Julius or something," one person replied.
"Are you here all week, Pat?" someone else joked.
"Funny! You are a loved person even if you do have to out yourself," a third comment read.
Sajak's newest post comes a few weeks after he shared a life "update" with fans.
“I know a lot of you have been wondering, asking me how I’m doing, and I’m enjoying life," Sajak said into the camera as we walked near a beach. "I moved here to Montana, and everything’s going just great," he continued—clearly not in Montana. The post quickly went viral and has been watched more than 1.4 million times.
Sajak, who will turn 80 in October, left Wheel of Fortune in 2024.
“Well, the time has come to say goodbye. I have a few thanks and acknowledgements before I go. And I want to start with all of you watching out there,” the longtime host said in a farewell message. “It’s been an incredible privilege to be invited into millions of homes night after night, year after year, decade after decade."
Ryan Seacrest has since taken over the role.
