Shark Tank star and business mogul Barbara Corcoran isn't about to sit back and keep her fingers crossed when she wants something. Ever since Martha Stewart appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit in 2023 at the age of 81, the self-made millionaire has been trying to make her own cover happen and isn't giving up.

On April 15, Corcoran reposted a photo of herself posing in an orange cover-up over a white bathing suit -- the exact same color scheme Stewart wore as the 2023 cover model. The reality star first posted the picture in May 2023, with the words, "I can't cook, but I sure can swim." She reposted it again in April 2024. Judging by her Instagram caption this year, she doesn't seem likely to stop posting it anytime soon.

"It's that time of year again! Manifesting my cover next year," she wrote.

The real estate mogul is all about self-determination. One of Corcoran's favorite stories to tell people is how she built her million-dollar real estate empire from $1,000. She credits her refusal to give up with her ex-boyfriend. After he dumped her for her secretary, he told her that she'd never succeed without him.

"I don't really think in the hindsight, when I think about it, that he meant it, but thank God he said it," she said during an appearance on Mel Robbins' podcast. "Because when he said, 'You'll never succeed without me,' I knew I'd rather die than not succeed."

Just as she was determined to be successful no matter what, she believes strongly that you make the life you want.

"You can create exactly what you want, but I think the key there really is moving on something, anything," she said. "Just get yourself moving, and then the idea becomes itself."

Corcoran is one of the original stars of Shark Tank, which is currently two episodes away from the end of Season 17. On the March 25th episode, fellow OG star Mark Cuban returned to the show after his abrupt exit last year. He joined Lori Greiner, Daymond John, and Kevin O'Leary, while his replacement, Daniel Lubetzky, was absent.

"It felt like losing a big brother," Corcoran told Katie Couric Media about Cuban's decision to leave. "No matter what he says, I don’t want him to go. He’s my favorite guy on set — partially cause he’s the richest, I have to admit — but also because what you see is what you get with Mark."

A visit to the “Most Magical Place on Earth” took an unsettling turn when a Disney World guest was arrested following an alleged physical confrontation at Magic Kingdom.

The incident occurred on back on February 20 at the popular attraction Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, according to an Orange County Sheriff’s Office arrest affidavit obtained by PEOPLE nearly two months later. Authorities allege that a 47-year-old man from Newcastle, U.K., identified as Keith Richard Newman, pushed an 18-year-old girl during a dispute over line etiquette.

According to the report, the teen told officers she and a friend were attempting to move through the queue to reunite with their group when they encountered Newman. The alleged victim claimed he “pushed her back with both hands,” causing her to fall into her friend and spill her water bottle. The friend told police that Newman declared, “This is a queue” before the alleged battery.

Newman reportedly admitted he extended his hand to stop the teen, stating he told her there was a line. However, he denied pushing her, claiming she walked into him and that he “never touched or pushed” the girl.

Authorities noted the teen showed no visible injuries and declined medical treatment at the scene. But based on witness statements, Newman was arrested and charged with battery. Court records indicate he was released on $1,000 bail three days later on February 23 and entered a written plea of not guilty the following day.

The incident adds to a series of unsettling headlines tied to Walt Disney World. In 2025, multiple deaths were reported across the resort over the span of a month, including incidents at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort, the Contemporary Resort, and Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. While authorities confirmed that some cases involved medical emergencies or suicide and showed no signs of foul play, the reports drew a lot of attention.

With Season 1 of The Pitt taking place on the day of the fictional PittFest music festival and Season 2 taking place on the 4th of July, it's safe to assume that Season 3 won't take place on any ordinary day. However, the specific day or even the time of year is not yet known.

Is there a trailer for Season 3 of The Pitt?

There isn't a trailer for Season 3 yet, as the show has not even entered production.

If history repeats itself—and so far, it seems poised to—Season 3 of The Pitt will follow the day shifters in the emergency room at Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center throughout what should be a busy but standard 12-hour shift, before an unexpected incident of some sort extends their workday by several hours.

Presumably, Dr. Robby will be back from his motorcycle sabbatical, and perhaps Dr. Javadi will have graduated to intern, like Whitaker did this year.

Who will be on Season 3 of The Pitt?

The only casting news announced so far is that Supriya Ganesh will not be returning as Dr. Samira Mohan next season. No one else is confirmed to be staying or leaving at this time, though we have our suspicions.

As a GenXer, I connected with a woman who is clearly talented and capable, yet still trying to recover parts of herself lost to duty and expectation."

When comparing it to Margo's Got Money Troubles, Shoshana G., a children's librarian in DC, says, "Both have off-kilter female narrators, are imbued with a sense of humor and are literary but not stuffy."

"I'd recommend this to readers especially interested in the online-performance side of Margo’s Got Money Troubles," says Maria Fesz, a librarian at Libby. It's about Dell Danvers, who starts a livestream to raise money to help her comatose sister.

"[It's] good for those who like darkly funny explorations of characters," Fesz adds.

5. 'Last Night in Brooklyn' by Xochitl Gonzalez

Releasing on April 21, this novel follows 26-year-old Alicia, who lives at home while she saves up to get married. It takes place on the precipice of the 2008 financial crisis as Alicia begins to explore the possibility that her life doesn't need to follow her original plan.

"Readers who connected with the money stress and ambition in Margo’s Got Money Troubles will likely gravitate toward this one," says Fesz. "It has that same sharp, emotionally complicated feel, with a heroine trying to build a future in a world that keeps making that harder."

If that was you, and you gravitated towards Margo's father, Jinx, Reidy says you'll like The Road to Tender Hearts.

"[It] has a cranky but lovable old-man character, and everyone in the book is trying to sort out some kind of a mess," she says.

Each couple on Temptation Island Season 2 claimed to have a relationship they wanted to improve.  Jackson Mason and Shyanne Blankenship dated the longest, at five years.

A TikTok from April of last year showed Shyanne, 23, cuddling with Jackson Mahomes. There was another one of her with Patrick Mahomes's brother together in 2024.

Mahomes reposted the video and commented, "Use to love that girl." He also has photos with her on his Instagram in the fall of 2025.

Jackson Mason hooked up with Jesenia Sosa and Carter Erin at the men's villa. Shyanne angrily watched it at a bonfire. She then hooked up with Preston Viltz. Jackson wasn't surprised, and he later claimed Shyanne cheated first. Mark L. Wahlberg noticed that Shyanne repeatedly put Jackson down.

Jackson told her that it was hard not getting a video back from her at the final bonfire. "I know you didn't want to come here," he told her. "I'm sorry I put you through this, but I think we were put here in this position for a reason. Me and you weren't happy. I think we were stuck."

Shyanne told him it took two years for her to move past his infidelity. She claimed that she did want their relationship to work. The entrepreneur also claimed she didn't want to do the Netflix show because it would end badly. The former couple called it quits and left the island single.

Joy Harmon — best known for her role in the 1967 film Cool Hand Luke — died at the age of 87.

Harmon died at her home in Los Angeles on Tuesday, April 15, according to TMZ. The beloved actress was "surrounded by family, after getting sick with pneumonia several weeks earlier," the outlet reported.

After a successful career in Hollywood, Harmon opened a bakery in Burbank called Aunt Joy's Cakes, where she worked until her death.

"Aunt Joy’s Cakes started in the kitchen of her home in California. The name originated when Joy Harmon began supplying cakes to her niece’s coffee shop. Whenever she made a delivery her niece would cheer, 'Aunt Joy’s cakes are here!'" the company website explains. "Then Joy Harmon started supplying her desserts to Disney Studios, where her son worked and spread the word about his mom’s mouthwatering cakes and cookies. Her homemade desserts were becoming very popular, and Joy Harmon started supplying her baked goods to many more studios in the Los Angeles area."

According to a family member who spoke with TMZ, Harmon "spent 1 to 2 weeks in the hospital, followed by a several-week stint at a rehabilitation center, and then returned home to spend her final days on hospice care and with her loved ones."

In addition to her role in Cool Hand Luke, alongside Paul Newman and George Kennedy, Harmon starred with Groucho Marx on the television shows You Bet Your Life and Tell It to Groucho. She also had roles in films such as Village of the Giants and "Angel in my Pocket,"

Marking 24 consecutive wins, the bureaucrat and law student from Lawrenceville, New Jersey, claimed sole possession of the fifth-place on the Jeopardy! Leaderboard of Legends in consecutive game wins, surpassing 23-game champion Mattea Roach's 2022 record. Next on the list is Amy Schneider at 40 wins, so he still has a bit to go.

Missing a few Daily Doubles proved not to be an issue for Ding yet again, as he secured another promising runway at $22,400 and cruised to victory. All three contestants answered Final Jeopardy correctly, as Ding wagered $600, finishing with $23,000. The battle for second place was extremely close, as Page edged Elliott by just $2. Page wagered $2,601 for an end total of $9,201, while Elliott wagered nearly everything with $4,599, ending at $9,1999.

Ding returns tomorrow to aim for number 25.

"Wanna know what you're playing for?" Jeff Probst asked the castaways of Survivor 50 on Day 9. It's safe to say that even the biggest superfan of the iconic CBS reality series could not anticipate what was waiting around that corner.

Striding in with a black t-shirt, brown cap, and a smile a mile wide was none other than Zac Brown. The chart-topping country singer had left "Colder Weather" to travel out to Fiji, dropping in for a one day visit on the set. And, considering Survivor 50 is themed "In the Hands of the Fans," it's only appropriate that the reward be in the hands of one particular fan, as the winning tribe of that day's challenge would be treated to a fish feast courtesy of Zac's spear, as well as their own personal concert.

It's a Survivor first in multiple ways. And, as the "Chicken Fried" singer tells Parade in an exclusive interview, it all started with a happenstance conversation between Brown and Probst on Dave Grohl's couch.

"I had just gotten back from my first spearfishing trip in Fiji," he recounts. "I started telling him how much I love the show, and I started showing him some pictures from my trip. And he was just like, 'This is incredible.' And I was like, 'Man, if I could ever show up and maybe teach some of the people that don't know how to spearfish on an episode. If I can participate in any way for an episode or something, I would absolutely love to be part of the show.'"

Months later, Brown was once again next to Probst, this time the cush interior of Grohl's house replaced with the lush greenery of the Fijian jungle. In a matter of hours, a select group would be treated to the best reward of Season 50, an opportunity to take their minds out of this incredibly stressful fight for a million dollars, the pressurized settings of the game giving way to a makeshift concert venue.

Consider it a warm-up for Brown, as he hopes to bring those magical musical moments across the country on the "Love & Fear Tour" this summer. Running July 17 to November 21, the Zac Brown Band will spend the latter half of the year traveling and performing alongside a variety of notable names, including Grace Potter, Brothers Osbourne, and Old Crow Medicine Show.

"Our band is one of those that you have to come see our show to understand," the 47-year-old says about what to expect from the follow-up to the band's residency at the Sphere earlier this year. "Bruce Springsteen was like that for me. You can listen to Bruce's songs and love them that are on the radio. But until you go see him sweating and giving everything he has to the audience and doing really what he does, you don't get him. And our band is very much like that. I encourage people, if you want to have incredible memories and see some incredible musicianship and great songs and connection, that's what we do at our show. My goal is to help everybody have the best time."

Below, Zac Brown talks more about his Survivor fandom, how he planned out his entire spearfishing afternoon, and his response to accusations that the reward was staged.

Let me start by getting your Survivor resumé. How long have you been watching the show?
Probably around Season 10 is when I first saw Survivor. But I've been since binge watched all of them all the way back over the years. And then when they would come out, especially when my kids were little, they'd all climb up into bed, and we'd watch Survivor together at night before they go to bed. I've always wanted to go on the show, but I couldn't be away from my kids for 30, 40 days, you know? And I think about that when I'm watching people play. I'm like, "How do they make it away from their families that long?"

I love the unpredictability of the show. I love when you meet the characters all in the first couple of episodes, and you can never predict who's going to make it to the end. It's always somebody that you never think would make it. And I love all the obstacles.

Being able to be there on the site where they make everything is impressive. I mean, there's 600, 700 people there that work full-time on these different islands to make this happen. And just the vibe of everybody that works there, it's really led by Jeff. Jeff has incredible energy. He's always thinking about the game. From the first time I ever met him, he's like, "What do you think about this? What do you think if we did this?" I mean, it lives in his brain. It's his passion, and it comes through, man. It's incredible to have 50 seasons of a TV show and still have people that are still at it.

I want to stay on the topic of Jeff. He's mentioned how the two of you met before Season 50, and you had told him that if you ever got the opportunity to go out there for a weekend, to let you know. Talk to me about meeting Jeff, and did you ever expect that opportunity to arise?
So I have a little coffee farm on the Big Island in Hawaii, and Jeff has a place there as well. And so I was in town one week. I was actually there spearfishing and hanging out on my farm. And I went down the hill and went to Dave Grohl's house. And so Dave was having a gathering in his house. And then out walks Jeff. He and Dave got to be really close during the pandemic, because what Jeff was pulling off during the pandemic was pretty incredible

So the first time that I met Jeff was at Dave's house. And we sat down, and I had just gotten back from my first spearfishing trip in Fiji. I started telling him how much I love the show, and I started showing him some pictures from my trip. The holy grail for spear fishermen is a dogtooth tuna, and I just shot a lifetime dogtooth tuna. And I was just telling him about my trip, and he was just like, "This is incredible." And I was like, "Man, if I could ever show up and maybe teach some of the people that don't know how to spearfish on an episode. If I can participate in any way for an episode or something, I would absolutely love to be part of the show."

And he was like, "Well, I'm doing something special for 50, and we're talking about doing some different things. Let me think about it, and call me back. Call me in a couple of months." He was in the middle of doing some stuff or whatever. So I hit him up a few months later [though] text, and he told me about "In the Hands of the Fans." So he's like, "The fans are deciding everything that's happening on Survivor. So if you could think of a reward that you would want to give to the contestants, let me know. What do you think that would look like?"

And I said, "Well, I fish in Fiji. You can film me, and I'll shoot some really nice fish. I'll maybe bring the fish in, break them down, filet the fish right there on site, and cook for everybody, and then play some music and hang out with them." And he was like, "Dude, this is insane." So that's how it started. And then as we got closer, I was talking to some of my buddies that were helping to line up the boats and things that we needed to have to get where we needed to go in Fiji that was close enough to where he was. So that's kind of how it all started, just dreaming it up, sitting on Dave Grohl's couch.

So it's clear you conceptualized this reward. But what was it like planning the actual logistics of it, considering, as you mentioned, the teeming crew that was also filming at the same time?
So he sent the dates over on when they could do it. And I just happened to have a hole in my schedule. Between my kids and everything with the career, it's all about lining something up. And it just happened to fit. I got on the phone with Cameron Kirkconnell, who's one of my really good buddies, and a spearfishing guide that I use when I want to go for monster fish. And I told him what the plan was, and he's connected all over the world. He's got people wherever. If I give him a time window, he's like, "Okay, we're going to go here on the Indian Ocean for May 5 or whatever. This is the species we're hunting. This is your target. This is the world record."

So I hit up Cameron, and he helped me get dialed in with the people who had a boat at the place that we need to spearfish in Fiji. And that week that I was there to get the Survivor content, the three days in the water that I had were some of the prettiest days I've ever seen in the ocean.

The fish that I fed everybody was a dogtooth tuna. On day one, when we got in the water, I was able to find a dog. He was about 50 feet down, and I was able to get him, and that's what I ended up feeding everybody. And so it got a little bit of time on the ice, which makes the meat better to eat. So it ended up being a perfect trip. I shot some big Spanish mackerel on that trip as well.

So the edit made it seem like you had caught the fish that afternoon. That wasn't the case? I know some people online speculated that the scenes we saw were staged, saying a fish was tied to a rope at the bottom of the ocean for you to shoot.
I was in the water earlier the day of the show, but we were just kind of getting the hero shots and things like that, and behind the scenes. But no, I spent three days spearfishing. You don't tie fish to the bottom and all that. I was working 10 hours a day to shoot some really amazing fish, and the things that I saw were absolutely beautiful. But there's no faking.
It shows my shots. It shows me shooting a fish, swimming free. So people are always
going to hate on whatever it is that you're doing.

But I had such an incredible experience getting to be there and be part of the show. And every single person who works on that set were just awesome people. And that kind of culture, you can't buy that. You have to lead that. And Jeff's been leading it for 25 years.

You spoke on the show about what spearfishing means to you. But talk to me a bit more about what that spiritual connection entails.
Spearfishing is a spiritual thing for me, because it makes you feel so small in the best way. And every time that I've ever gone, I always see something that I've never seen before. I see some kind of animal, some kind of fish, something under there. In every different location, it looks completely different under the water, all the different seas and oceans and everything. So one of my goals is to spearfish in every ocean and sea in the world and to try to check that list off. Because it's like Avatar under the water. It's like being in an absolute other world.

And I love the challenge of it. You're challenging your breath, you're challenging the ocean, you're challenging the fish and the terrain and the camouflage. It's just such a pure sport. In the Bahamas, you can't use a spear gun. You use a pole spear. That's just a giant pole with a rubber band on the back of it. That's what they use on Survivor; you have a really small pole spear there. And I heard third-party that some of the people are going, "Oh, my God, that gun you use is so big, blah, blah, blah." Well, if you're hunting a 150-pound dogtooth tuna, you have to have enough inertia to get through the fish.

Anybody that's curious about spearfishing, if there's a possibility that you're going to shoot a really big fish, a big monster, you have to use a big spear gun. I try not to get on the internet, because I feel so happy and good about it. And then you get on, and then it seems like the internet is just a collection of people hating on everything else that everyone else is doing. So I read about three comments, and then I stopped. And they were like, "Oh my God, that gun's ridiculous. You should never use something like that." It's still just as hard. I recommend those people going and trying and taking that and swimming 70 feet down and shooting a big fish.

Well, let's talk about the school of Survivor players that you got to hang around with that day! Who were you most excited to meet out there among the cast of Survivor 50?
Well, Ozzy's one of them, but he didn't make it to the reward. And as I've been watching 50 and seeing how it went, I'm watching the episode by episode the same as everybody else. But I was locking eyes with Ozzy, and I was saying, "I love spearfishing" or whatever. And he was like, "Let's go!" I could see it.

But there's a lot of people. I mean, Colby, who I got to talk with a lot as well. He's
a Texas guy. I'm in Austin a lot now because of my lady. Genevieve. I don't know. There's too many to name. Jonathan, I know he loves to spearfish. There's enough of their personality exposed from enough time spent watching them that you feel like you kind of understand them a little bit. Which is weird, because they're strangers. You've never met them!

Is there anyone who's become less of a stranger to you after your time in Fiji? Any contestant you still talk to after your time together?
Joe's my man! I watched Joe on Season 48. If that guy lived close to me, we would be friends. And so he was in the tribe that won the reward that I was in, so I got to sit and hang with him. And we text all the time. We've gotten to be friends. I love that dude. That dude's got such a great heart, such a good dude.

The other part of the reward, of course, was you treating the tribe to a bit of a private concert. Were you surprised that a couple of them were as emotional as they were listening to your music?
Well, music is such good medicine, and I think it ties you to home. I've seen it playing for the USO. I've seen it playing overseas, where people are away from their families for 18 months. It's like you can see a light come on that transports them back home. So it wasn't as surprising to me that they were becoming emotional, because I've seen that before. I've seen where music can take you right back to the place that you love, to the memories that you have.

And really, that's what I love about concerts, the memories that you make and that people come out to see a show. Those things stick with you. Those are the things that you save for a rainy day. You listen to music, it takes you back to those good memories and times that you had. So that's one of the things that I love about music, that it's just medicine for the soul. And it's so cool to get to do that for a living. I get to make people feel good and have a good time for my job.

Did you get to make it up to Dee at all after the season, considering how much your music meant to her, and how upset she was to miss out on the reward?
I couldn't meet anyone except the ones that won the reward at the time. But I did get in touch with Dee, and I invited her to come out to see us at the sphere. So December and January, we did our residency at the Sphere in Vegas. And Dee came, and I brought her backstage and got a picture with her and talked with her. She knew the name of my song when I first met the tribes that were competing. So I was like, "I gotta figure out how to get in touch with Dee." So we did. We brought her backstage, got to hang out with her for 30 minutes. So she got some love in a little different way.

I know you're going out on tour this summer. Do you have any planned Survivor cameos from the Season 50 cast?
I would absolutely love that. I would love to have them up and give them some love and a shout-out. And anybody that wants to be a background dancer, replace a percussion or whatever, I welcome that too.

You know Coach will absolutely take that open invite. [Laughs.]
[Laughs.] He could write me a speech! It's awesome, man. Coach was a character that I was excited to meet as well. Super nice guy, super super gracious guy, too.

Has anybody told you that they found your music after seeing you appear on Survivor?
A lot of people have told me that they saw me on Survivor. They didn't talk as much about the music connection after that, from what I've heard so far. But, you know, the internet will paint a picture of people, and if you don't have a first-hand experience with them or know them at all, it doesn't really matter if what people say is true or not. It's just the first thing that they hear. So there are a lot of people who don't get to know me and know my heart and know what I stand for and who I am.

So I love that I got to show some of who I am on Survivor and really just be a servant to the people. That's really where it's at. And I spent a lot of my life in service to other people. And I think that's where real happiness and real joy come from. So I love the exposure that it got. I love that I got to give some of my heart and go and spend the time spearfishing, and then cooking for everybody, and then playing some tunes. Those things made me feel great.

What have your thoughts been on Survivor 50 so far? Who do you think is set up to take home the win?
I've seen every season, and I know enough to know that I don't have any idea who's going to make it to the end. Coach is definitely going to get sniped in these next few rounds, it seems like. But, man, you never know. That's what I love about it, the social part of the game and the psychology behind it all. And then people that push too hard, if they're too good at anything, they're going to end up going home.

I mean, Ozzy has really been laying low. If he's going to be able to win a bunch of individual immunities, how cool would it be if he could actually make it to the end? But I gotta root for my boy, Joe. And some of the ladies are really smart. Cirie you can never count out, because she's always kind of everybody's mom. She's just chilling; she understands it really, really well. So I don't know. These are all gangster players. And it's exciting. I mean, I decided this week to get to watch a new episode. Yeah, well, are you

I want to finish our chat by going back to one of the first things you mentioned: The crew. Obviously, you are someone who operates with quite a large team, and knows the value of individual input into one final product. So talk to me more about getting to experience Survivor behind the scenes.
Survivor was such a great expander for me, because I got to meet so many great people. Some of the photographers and the videographers and stuff that were there, they came out to the Sphere, I stay connected with them. Jeff has amassed so many like-minded people that are so talented, that are so dedicated to what they do. The amount of work and care and like intention that goes into doing it there, it's inspiring.

And I do the same with my band. There's 115 of us traveling. There are usually 11 or 12 buses, 15 trucks. All of this sets up and breaks down every day and moves down the road to another city, so I can relate to it. And my culture with my people is incredible. All of my people that work for me, I love. I'm not any more important than them. Everyone is equal. We high-five. We treat everybody like gold. We leave the place with people saying, "Those are the nicest group of people."

And I felt that same thing with all the crew and survivors like those. People are in harmony. They work hard. They're ninjas. They do their job, and you get an awesome result. Jeff's just done an incredible job. I mean, Jeff and the people that he brings in, because he couldn't do it without his team, obviously. But it's so fun. I can't think of anything more fun than I could go do for five, six days.

My steak is too juicy, my lobster is too buttery, and the bakery items at Costco are enormous! If you’re of the mind that there’s no such thing as too many carbs, then you’ll be thrilled that Costco has brought back a fan-favorite bakery item.

The warehouse giant delighted fans last April when it rolled out a tray of pillowy soft dinner rolls covered in garlic parmesan butter that shoppers could take home to reheat. The dinner rolls came in a foil pan that could go right into the oven, and were ready to eat in half an hour. But, like many Costco finds, the item was seasonal, and fans were disappointed after no longer being able to find it – until now.

An eagle-eyed Costco shopper spotted them at a store recently, taking to Instagram to share a video of the all-butter dinner rolls, revealing that a tray of them currently sells for $7.99. The camera panned down from the store sign to the rolls in question as audio of Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner said, “Isn’t it great? I know, it’s my dream!” The video then showed the rolls fresh out of the oven, the butter and parmesan now fully melted onto the bread.

Commenters were so excited, writing, “Ok that looks delicious,” and tagging their friends to say, “we need to go to Costco this weekend.” When the rolls were first discovered by fans last year, they quickly went viral, and even as of a few weeks ago, fans were still commenting on videos to ask for their return. “I hope these come back again this year. So incredible,” said one as another wrote, “Does anyone know if they will ever bring these back? I missed out.” 

“Looks very good I can eat it all! I would pair it with spaghetti and Caesar salad,” said a commenter, while another pointed out that while they sound delicious, they would have been more timely in the fall. “Why was Costco Bakery asleep at the wheel at Thanksgiving. I need this in November not May,” they said.

Everything is being injected with protein, raw milk has suddenly become some magical cure-all, and there is an active community of people who actually believe that vegetables are bad for you. That sound you just heard was my eyes rolling.

As if things couldn't get any worse, Costco fans are sounding the alarm about another eyebrow-raising anomaly, and we couldn't have guessed the headline in our wildest dreams. Simulated blueberry bagels. No, that isn't some quirky name for a pop-synth garage band; according to dietitian and nutritionist Nazima Qureshi, it's an actual product on Costco shelves. In a video posted on Instagram, Nazima explained that on a recent trip to the larger-than-life warehouse, she decided to treat her kiddos to blueberry bagels before reading the "shocking" ingredients list, only to find that the blueberry bagels in question were missing an essential ingredient—actual blueberries.

Instead, "simulated blueberries" were listed as an ingredient, followed by a salad of additives to make them, including sugar, corn syrup, artificial flavor and blue and red dyes. Yikes. Not only that, but the label actually referred to the product itself as Simulated Blueberry Bagels, indicating that they were indeed made without any traces of the real fruit. The comment section was immediately flooded with angry fans who felt betrayed at the news. "It's so crazy how these things are allowed to exist!" said one person. "It's as if AI is now making our food for us," deduced someone else. "This is actually insane," chimed in a third user.

It's truly a wild read, but before you grab your pitchfork, let's take a look at the facts. Based on the image in the video, the bagels in question were purchased at a Costco in Canada, which has different labeling regulations. Our neighbors to the North require artificial blueberry bits, like you would find in Martha White Muffin Mix, to be labeled as "simulated blueberries," rather than "artificial" or "imitation." Another point is that a quick Google search turned up an alternative ingredient list on Spoonful that mentions "blueberry flavored cranberries" as the acting berry in the bagel, along with actual blueberries. Still slightly misleading, but I guess it's better than nothing. 

So does that mean we need to cancel our Costco membership en masse and start grinding our own wheat to make bagels from scratch? Probably not. While it can be a bit unnerving to think we have no clue what's actually in our food, the best thing to do is read the label before you buy. That way, at least if you do decide to toss simulated bagels into your cart, you're at least aware of what you're eating and entirely in control.

On the bright side, things can't get any weirder than simulated blueberries. At least we hope not.

Live Nation Entertainment and its subsidiary Ticketmaster received a guilty verdict on April 15 regarding the antitrust trial alleging that the company was monopolizing the ticketing market. This jury deliberation came five weeks into the trial.

Per NBC News, Live Nation, which has received significant backlash from the public in recent years for its pricing practices, was found to have "illegally maintained monopoly power in the ticketing market." Initially, these allegations had come from the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) and more than 30 states across political divides.

The allegations centered on the argument that LiveNation had engaged in "anticompetitive conduct," which would be a direct violation of anti-monopoly laws. These practices, the DOJ and nearly 40 states had alleged, led to the increased fees the public had been voicing frustrations with, along with this conduct allegedly limiting artists' choices and pressuring venues to utilize Ticketmaster.

This update comes on the heels of a deal between LiveNation and the federal government, along with some of the plaintiff states, last month, which saw Live Nation agree to cap service fees for ticket purchases at its amphiteaters at 15% of the ticket's price.

The same settlement also meant that Ticketmaster had to open its platform to its competitors, such as StubHub and SeatGeek. Separately, Live Nation had agreed to a $280 million settlement and eight years of oversight from the DOJ.

Previously, this antitrust trial also included allegations that Live Nation had "unlawful exclusive dealing with venues," although those charges were ultimately dropped, with the focus instead shifting to the broader monopolization allegations, as they seemed more likely to succeed with a jury.

Evidently, that has proven true. Per The Hollywood Reporter, responses to this news have included Rob Bonta, Attorney General of California (one of the states involved in the trial), saying that this is "a historic and resounding victory for artists, fans, and the venues that support them."

A book series may be almost 100 years old, but that doesn’t mean that it’s bad or out of date. In fact, some of the best books of all time are among the oldest, and that’s certainly the case when it comes to epic fantasy. It turns out that according to Goodreads users, one particular book series, where one of the books will turn 76 in 2026, is ranked among the favorites for epic fantasy.

It’s all about The Chronicles of Narnia, which turns 70 as a complete collection in 2026. The first novel, The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis, will turn 76 this year, and it remains the most popular of the seven-book series.

The First Book in ‘The Chronicles of Narnia’ Was Almost the Last Written

While The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe is often mentioned as the first book in the entire series, it’s actually the second one. It was the first one written, though, and it did form the basis that would create the entire collection of stories.

The first novel in the collection’s order is actually The Magician’s Nephew, which was the second to last published book. It was published in 1955, while The Last Battle, the confirmed last story, was published a year later in 1956.

The Magician’s Nephew actually helped to build the world of Narnia considerably more than other stories, as it brought things all the way back to the beginning. If you ever wondered about the lamp post, the need for human kings and queens, and the way the White Witch became part of the story.

While Narnia itself was already this epic fantasy land with creatures and characters of its own, The Magician’s Nephew built on that. Sure, it didn’t go into more details and there was never a continuation, but there was that promise of the universes within the wardrobes and other portals being available.

A New ‘Chronicles of Narnia’ Adaptation Coming to Netflix

2026 is an incredible year. Not only will it be the year the full chronicles turn 50, but it’s also the year that another adaptation is coming. Netflix’s Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew will be released, starring Emma Mackey and Daniel Craig.

The adaptation promises to bring all seven books in the tale to life one by one. Greta Gerwig will direct the first movie, and there is a lot of hope that she will stick around for more as long as they are positively viewed. After all, we know what Netflix is life, but this is an epic fantasy book series that deserves a full adaptation with today’s technology and abilities.

What Is the ETA?

The Electronic Travel Authorization is a digital travel permit required for visitors who previously didn’t need a visa. This includes travelers from the United States, Canada, Australia, and most of Europe.

It’s important to understand:

• It’s not a visa, but a pre-travel authorization
• It allows visits of up to six months at a time
• It costs about £16 (around $20)
• It’s valid for multiple trips over two years

Why This Change Matters

Look, no one wants to think about this, but perhaps the most surprising perk of all is that Costco sells caskets, starting at around $1,300 with shipping included. The OP notes that funeral homes are legally required by the FTC to accept caskets purchased elsewhere, making it an unexpected but practical option.

“I bought a casket at Costco. The funeral home was about $5k +, and from. Costco, it was $2k, including delivery to the funeral home. Very seamless transaction, highly recommend, if you were to ever need one,” one user shared of her experience.

A second added, “My late husband was buried in a Costco coffin. I’m completely serious. The funeral home prices are absolutely madness, and he was a frugal man. He’d be pleased that I didn’t get ripped off. And they are quite nice coffins too.”

You were a three-chair turn, so you could have had any of the coaches. Yes, your son said he was a Maroon 5 fan but was there more to your decision to go with Adam?
I love the fact that he said, “Let's do something different.” I have always listened to all genres of music. I think that's what makes my sound and I feel like Adam is like that in similar ways, and so when he said let's do something different, it set off a lightbulb in my head, and I was like, “Yeah, you know what? Let's do something different.”

This season was filmed last summer. How hard has it been to keep the secret? And now that it's revealed, what's the plan?
It was really, really hard for me and my mom to hold that secret because she is a proud mom and she wanted to scream it to the world, but she couldn't. I had to fuss at her numerous times, but she did a good job, and I'm proud of her.

I just want to keep singing and keep getting on these stages, keep doing them. I just put a new single out called “Rent Free” last night after the show, and so we're just going to keep kicking out music and keep singing.

Tell me a little bit about this single. Why did you choose that as your first song? Does it have special meaning to you?
I think what it was for me, I felt like everybody, anybody could relate to that song because everybody's been in a situation where they were really down bad, and the people that they thought loved them were not around at that time, and when they got to a good space, that's when everybody came around. So, I feel like anybody can relate to that. That's why I chose “Rent Free.”

The voting process was different this season. America didn't get to vote. What was it like knowing that you were going to be voted on by your peers, people who have been on the show previously?
It was a lot of pressure, but I did enjoy the fact that the superfans and the alumni were able to vote because being in the room is so different from watching it on TV. You can feel it more when you're in the room, and so I was excited that they were able to vote.

You selected songs for your performances from really powerful women like Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Patty LaBelle and Adele. That takes hutzpah. Were you feeling confident tackling these monster songs?
No, I was nervous. I don't even want to lie to you. I was, “Oh, my God.” It was so nerve-wracking, but because I’ve loved these people since I was a little girl, I was happy that I was able to get up there and sing the songs. I've been singing these songs since I was a kid, and to be able to get on a big stage and do it was amazing.

When they announced the prize last night, they talked about giving you a home studio. What are you looking forward to about having that as your prize?
I'm so excited about it. That means I get to sit in that room and I get to record all day long.

Will you be looking for a record deal, or do you want to stay independent?
I haven't really made that choice yet. I am just waiting and seeing what comes on the table and we'll go from there.

We have an idea of who your favorite artists are. But what kind of music do you want to release?
R&B. I love pop music. I wouldn't even mind featuring on a country song. I'm from Alabama, so real country over here. I love all music. Right now, I'm doing RB and soul. I hope you guys love and feel everything that I put into my music.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are promoting their philanthropic efforts during their Australian tour, but they’re also taking some opportunities to make money of their own. 

The Duchess of Sussex, 44, surprised contestants as a guest judge on MasterChef Australia during filming in Melbourne on April 15, Australia's 10 News reported. Meghan has been tapping into food and lifestyle content with her brand As Ever and her Netflix show With Love, Meghan.

A preview of the royal’s appearance was shared via Instagram by 10 News, which called her a “passionate foodie.” The clip showed judge Poh Ling Yeow announcing Meghan’s arrival before the royal stepped out in a stylish monochromatic black blouse and skirt.

"We've had MasterChef royalty in the kitchen before, but nothing like this," Ling Yeow said with a big smile on her face. "All the way from sunny California, please welcome to MasterChef Australia, the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle!"

While Meghan loves food and has proven her cooking skills, her fun appearance on MasterChef Australia came with a nice payday. MasterChef Australia judges are among the highest-paid television personalities in the country, and many high-profile celebrities, including Gordon Ramsay, Katy Perry, and Jamie Oliver, have made guest cameos on the series. 

Perry, 41, reportedly got paid $100,000 for her season 12 appearance in 2020, which was filmed while she was in Australia for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup. Although Meghan’s appearance fee for MasterChef Australia has not been revealed, it’s reasonable that it would follow suit as another major celebrity appearance. 

MasterChef Australia is not the only money-making venture Meghan and husband Prince Harry, 41, will be doing during their four-day trip down under. The former Suits actress is slated to be a keynote speaker during the “Her Best Life” women’s wellness retreat in Sydney on April 17. Event co-host Gemma O’Neill divulged that Meghan is planning on being very candid during her on-stage chat.

“I’ve literally just got off a Zoom with Meghan. It couldn’t have been any more kind of real. I just immediately loved chatting to her,” O’Neill said via Instagram on April 10 after a planning call with the former senior royal.

O’Neill teased that Meghan was “really looking forward” to joining event goers, who paid between $2,699 and $3,199 for tickets, during the retreat. O’Neill added, “She was like, ‘Let’s just have a real chat, woman to woman, let’s just go for it.’”

Meghan isn’t the only one working during their trip; Harry is expected to be the keynote speaker at the InterEdge Summit on April 16, discussing workplace mental health and leadership.

The Sussexes visited Australia in 2018 while they were newlyweds and senior working royals. The couple stepped back from their duties with the royal family in 2020 and relocated to California. Since their last visit, they've also become parents to their son, Prince Archie, and their daughter, Princess Lilibet.

Who won MasterChef Season 15?

Married couple Jessica Bosworth and Jesse Rosenwald took home the $250,000 grand prize on the FOX cooking show.

The long-term couple created a menu that was in homage to their New England home, starting with pan-seared scallops and pork belly with corn purée, pickled jalapeno, apple gastrique and crispy Brussels sprouts for the appetizer; braised short ribs with cacio e pepe gnocchi, baby carrots & fennel, mushrooms, parmesan frico and veal demi-glace for the entrée; and dark chocolate ganache tart with marshmallow meringue, raspberry coulis, maple pecan brittle and crème fraiche ice cream for desert.

“We looked at this menu as we’re going to take as many risks as possible, because the reward was worth it,” Jesse tells Parade in an exclusive interview. “Unfortunately, Tiffany’s short rib did not come out as tender as it should have been or could have been. But we were confident in the rest of the dish. I know Joe’s and Gordon’s came out right. We knew going into it, it was a risk, but we knew that if it came out correctly, it was going to be well worth it.”

Can the cooks on MasterChef use recipes?

Unveiled on Tuesday at CinemaCon, Cruise, who is known for groundbreaking films ranging from Top Gun and Jerry Maguire to Magnolia and Mission: Impossible, presented the first look at his character, Digger Rockwell. The Hollywood Reporter describes the unusual character as "the billionaire executive of a major company causing an environmental disaster via a methane leak that is threatening to displace millions of people." In the footage unveiled, Cruise's character lurks around his mansion as he nurses his sick cat.

John Goodman also stars in the film as the President of the United States, while Sandra Huller, Jesse Plemons, Riz Ahmed, Michael Stuhlbarg, Sophie Wilde, and Emma D’Arcy also appear in the comedy.

Alejandro G. Iñárritu Couldn't Believe Cruise's Transformation

Iñárritu, who previously directed acclaimed films like Birdman and The Revenant, was shocked by Cruise's transformation into the title character.

“Watching Tom Cruise becoming Digger Rockwell, I was not prepared for that,” he told the audience, noting that he was well aware that Cruise was "fearless" from his stunt work, but was blown away by his “embodying this character, this is another kind of fearless… this role could be his most challenging, high-wire act.”

A die-hard advocate for movie theaters and keeping them alive, Cruise proudly addresses the CinemaCon audience, which is largely made up of cinema owners and Hollywood studios.

“I want to thank you all for everything you do,” he shared, adding, “we’re up 23 percent so far” at the box office in 2026, THR continued. “My film family, you know I’m here for you, and I love you,” Cruise said.

The screen icon also took to Twitter/X to express his gratitude and excitement for the upcoming project, which is scheduled for release in October.

"We cannot wait to share this film with the world in October and to be part of what is going to be such a special year at the movies!" Cruise said.

There are some excellent science fiction books out there. While some of them add a fantastical element to them, Project Hail Mary author Andy Weir opts for more science than fiction. He’s not afraid to get technical, and it’s not surprising, then, that one of his books has landed on the list of “Best Science Fiction of the 21st Century” on Goodreads.

Ready Player One by Ernest Cline has taken the top spot on the list, and it’s great for those who love more of the fiction side of where tech could grow. If you want more of the science, then you want to turn to the novel that sits in second place, The Martian.

‘The Martian’ Has Been Turned Into a Movie

It won’t be surprising to hear that The Martian by Weir has already been turned into a movie, just in case you missed it. While the novel was released in 2011, it took just four years for it to be adapted into a movie, and it gained excellent reviews.

Matt Damon starred as a man who was trapped on Mars. No, not by some alien invasion, but because he was left behind. Everyone believed that he would die, but he ended up surviving thanks to his knowledge and willingness to work with the environment around him. In the end, he made it clear that maybe — just maybe — humans can thrive on Mars.

It’s not all too surprising that The Martianranks as the No. 2 pick for best science fiction of the 21st century. It holds a 4.42-star rating, with 57% of those reviews being five stars.

Not only is it a thrilling story, but it’s one that is filled with real science. Weir doesn’t want to dumb the story down for the masses, but he does it in a fun and light way. The main drama is within figuring out how to survive, and it’s not always easy to keep us hooked when it’s just one individual telling the story.

After The Martian came Project Hail Mary and Artemis. Weir currently has another novel in the works, and there are some mumblings of a Project Hail Mary sequel, but there’s nothing concrete just yet.
