"The 3rd Hour of TODAY is headed to Williamsburg, Virginia, to help celebrate America's 250th birthday!" Todayannounced on its official Instagram account, after announcing the news during its broadcast. "Our anchors are looking forward to fifes, drums, and lots of delicious pancakes with special co-host Patton Oswalt đŸ„ž."

"What better place to do it than in the heart of the American Revolution?" Dylan Dreyer said of the U.S. turning 250 years old in 2026.

"Trust us, this is not gonna be your average school field trip," Al Roker added. "We are going to walk the same streets as the founders. We're gonna visit amazing restaurants, local breweries, and, as everybody must do to celebrate the 250th anniversary of our country, eat pancakes."

After pointing out that Williamsburg is the Pancake Capital of the World, Dreyer revealed that the third hour will bring in "some serious star power" with Oswald as a guest co-host.

"Many times mistaken for Craig Melvin," Roker joked of the actor and comedian.

Alexander Dumas’s Didn’t Write His 1846 Masterpiece Alone — And He Went to Court Over It

Wed, 04/15/2026 - 4:23pm

You know of Alexander Dumas’s work. The Three Musketeers and The Man in the Iron Mask are both two that will stand out, and right now, there is a third thanks to a PBS adaptation. The Count of Monte Cristo is considered one of the best revenge stories ever told, and there’s no doubt that the PBS adaptation has brought to life exactly why that is.

Originally a serialized story in the Journal des Débats between 1844 and 1846, The Count of Monte Cristo was published fully as a novel after the last segment in 1846. At the time, only Dumas was credited as the writer, but he had help, and that help would eventually take him to court.

Alexander Dumas Teamed Up with Auguste Maquet on Multiple Stories

The Count of Monte Cristo was just one of the many novels Dumas turned to writer Auguste Maquet to help develop. Maquet would handle the initial plot lines and the in-depth historical research to ensure the best story was told. It was from there that Dumas would develop the characters and dialogue.

Maquet was never credited for any of the work done, even in the original publications of the work. Eventually, he decided it was time to take Dumas to court, and it turned out that 18 novels in total included his involvement, including the popular The Three Musketeers. While Maquet is still not named as an official co-author, he did win royalties and now he is mentioned as a “collaborator.”

The Prison Is Just One True Part of ‘The Count of Monte Cristo’

There are a few elements of The Count of Monte Cristo that needed research, and one of those was the ChĂąteau d'If, which was a real state prison in 1580. It was a prison mostly for high-profile political foes and religious dissidents, so it would make sense that someone like Edmund would end up there.

The part that doesn’t fit history is the escape. There were no recorded escapes. Of course, that doesn’t mean there weren’t escapes. Why would a prison like that want a record of any sort of failure? There weren’t as many checks and balances in the past, but it is just a small sign of the research Maquet did to make Dumas’s novels feel like they could be real.

The Count of Monte Cristo adaptation currently airs on Sundays at 10/9c on PBS and streams on PBS Masterpiece on Prime Video and PBS Passport.

1996 Hit Film Ranked Among ‘Best Movies of All Time’

Wed, 04/15/2026 - 4:18pm

In 1996, a horror film arrived in theaters that would completely change the rules of the genre.

Scream, directed by Wes Craven, has since been ranked among the best movies of all time by Collider, thanks to its innovative storytelling and lasting cultural impact.

Set in the fictional town of Woodsboro, the film follows a group of teenagers targeted by a masked killer known as Ghostface. Blending slasher thrills with self-aware humor, Scream cleverly plays with, and often subverts, the classic tropes of horror films, creating something that felt entirely fresh at the time.

One of the film's most shocking moments comes right at the beginning. Drew Barrymore, who was the biggest star attached to the project at the time, appears prominently in the opening scene. Audiences expected her to be the film's lead, making it all the more surprising when her character is brutally killed just minutes into the movie. The twist, one of Barrymore's own invention, immediately signaled that Scream was willing to break expectations.

"In the horror film genre, my biggest pet peeve was that I always knew the main character was going to be slugging through at the end, but was going to creak by and make it," Barrymore said in a 2020 interview. "What I wanted to do is to take that comfort zone away. I asked if I could be Casey Becker so we would establish this rule does not apply in this film."

The film also features standout performances from Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette, helping to ground the film's mix of suspense and satire.

Scream was both a critical and commercial success, revitalizing the slasher genre at a time when it had begun to fade. Its sharp script, memorable characters and unexpected twists influenced a wave of horror films that followed.

"Scream is a great example of something that is very innovative and has drawn top talent, inspired by great scripts written by Kevin (Williamson)," Craven told Interview Magazine. "It has allowed me to do some of my best work and most popular work. Kevin is a great writer, and I love doing his material. I also like doing films that I write myself."

Nearly 30 years later, the film remains a defining entry in horror history and has led to several sequels, with Scream 7 released earlier this year.

With its inclusion in Collider's ranking, Scream stands as a testament to the power of reinvention and a reminder that sometimes the most iconic moments come when audiences least expect them.

You'd Never Guess This Stylish Costco Desk Has a Unique Space-Saving Feature

Wed, 04/15/2026 - 4:05pm

Having a dedicated office space at home can feel like one of those "in a perfect world" things, like a dedicated playroom would be ideal if you're a parent of small children. In reality, it's usually the first idea to go when you're short on space. You tell yourself the dining table works just fine, or that one armchair has basically become your unofficial office anyway. And sure, it works until it absolutely doesn't. Papers pile up, your laptop never quite has a home, and your relaxing spaces start to feel a little too work-adjacent.

The truth is, even if you're not fully remote, having a designated spot to handle life admin—sorting mail, paying bills, answering emails—makes a big difference. It helps create that mental boundary between downtime and getting things done, which, frankly, is half the battle.

Stakmore Pre-Assembled Wood Folding Desk, $134.99 at Costco

Costco

Well, Costco has the space-saving solution for you. Take a long look at the Stakmore Pre-Assembled Wood Folding Desk, which retails for $134.99 at the warehouse club. It's a simple, solid-wood design, so it's sturdy. But here's where the mind-blowing part comes in—you can fold it up. Yep, it basically folds up almost as compact as an old-school folding tray. So you can easily move it out of sight when not in use, or when you have company over.

The desk itself provides about 20 by 40 inches of usable surface space when unfolded. So it can hold a laptop, some papers and other basic office supplies at once, which is pretty nice for such a compact unit.

Costco shoppers almost unanimously say this is the easiest piece of furniture they've ever put together. (It does come pre-assembled, so you really just have to figure out how to unfold it.)

"Needed a part-time desk that didn't take up a lot of room and could be tucked away when not in use," writes a Costco reviewer. "This fit the bill perfectly. Good size work area, and being able to fold it up to store is perfect. Material and workmanship are very good."

Others say the desk really exceeded their expectations and love that it has a built-in charging station.

"It is solid, small portable desk that can be used in many ways," wrote another customer. "I love that it has plugs and USB ports included on it. It is a great buy and fits my needs perfectly!"

If this sounds like it will fit any of your home office needs, grab it before it sells out again, because this little number goes in and out of stock at Costco due to its popularity.

Who’s Got Beef in ‘Beef’ Season 2? Meet the Star-Studded New Cast

Wed, 04/15/2026 - 4:03pm

Hungry for more Beef? Luckily for fans of the Netflix dark comedy, the Lee Sung Jin-created anthology series will soon welcome a second season with an entirely new plot and a new cast to match.

Premiering all eight 30-minute episodes on Thursday, April 16, Beef season 2 will follow up its Emmy-winning first season by following two very different couples — millennial duo Josh and Lindsay (played by Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan), who run a local country club, and Gen Z pair Austin and Ashley (Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny), two of the club's lower-level staffers — who get unexpectedly entangled in each other's relationships.

“Season 1’s beef is so overt and aggressive. I thought Season 2 should be the inverse: a passive-aggressive beef, which is more true to life, especially in a workplace,” Lee told Netflix Tudum about the characters' conflict, adding: “We thought, ‘What if we actually made them a little bit closer in age and highlight that generational divide?’”

Ahead of the dramedy's premiere, let's take a bite out of the starry cast of Beef season 2.

Oscar Isaac

In Beef season 2, Golden Globe winner Oscar Isaac plays Josh Martín, the general manager of a country club and husband to Carey Mulligan’s character. Much of the new eps center on a colossal fight between the couple, on which the Guatemalan-born star told Deadline he and his scene partner worked heavily to ensure its realistic tension: “We did improvisations, we did rehearsals where we taped out the thing, almost like a theater play.”

Now one of Hollywood’s most versatile leading men, the 47-year-old had his breakthrough as a Bob Dylan-esque beatnik in the 2013 musical drama Inside Llewyn Davis. In the decade-plus since, he’s had memorable roles in films like A Most Violent Year (2014), Ex Machina (2015), X-Men: Apocalypse (2016), Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023) and last year’s Frankenstein on Netflix. Isaac is arguably best-known for his roles in two major sci-fi franchises: as Poe Dameron in the Star Wars sequel trilogy (2015–2019) and as Leto Atreides in Denis Villeneuve’s Dune films.

Three-time Oscar nominee Carey Mulligan stars opposite Oscar Isaac as Lindsay Crane-Martín, whose marital spat serves as the inciting incident of the season. “What was important to us, I think, was that they really do love each other and when they meet, they were as annoying
they really had like that obsessive, sort of, gorgeous, first-flush thing,” Mulligan said of the couple, per Extra. “They had that real romantic history and they’ve been together for a really long time, but I think you’re meeting them at their worst.”

Since her film debut in 2005’s Pride & Prejudice, the 40-year-old Brit has starred in 2009’s An Education(for which she won the BAFTA), 2011’s Drive and Shame, 2013’s The Great Gatsby, 2020's Promising Young Woman, 2023’s Maestro and last year’s The Ballad of Wallis Island.Beef marks an onscreen reunion between Mulligan and her Inside Llewyn Davis costar Oscar Isaac.

Prior to joining Beef, the Alaska-born, Kansas-raised heartthrob saw success as a model before his acting breakout as Reggie Mantle in the CW teen drama Riverdale in 2017. He made his feature film debut two years later leading The Sun Is Also a Star; fellow big-screen credits include the 2025 A24 drama Warfare and upcoming 2026 titles Her Private Hell and Saturn Return.

Who is not returning for Beef season 2?

Because Beef is an anthology series, the storyline and subsequent cast of each installment change up with each season. As mentioned, the second season will see an entirely new plotline and cast, led by Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan.

1982 No. 1 Rock Classic Lost the Oscar for 'Best Original Song' 43 Years Ago

Wed, 04/15/2026 - 3:58pm

After its appearance in the 1982 film Rocky III, "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor has remained one of the most iconic songs in cinematic history.

The rock classic, written for the movie, snagged an Oscar nomination for "Best Original Song" at the 1983 Academy Awards, per The Saturday Evening Post. However, Survivor's hit lost out to "Up Where We Belong” by Joe Cocker and Jennifer Warnes from the movie, An Officer and a Gentleman, as reported by the publication.

While "Eye of the Tiger" lost the big award, the rock song did secure the top spot on Billboard's Hot 100 in July 1982.

Survivor's Jim Peterik Shared Details About Writing the Song for 'Rocky III'

In a 2017 interview for Top 2000 a gogo, Survivor's keyboardist and songwriter, Jim Peterik, shared how the band's 1982 hit song came to be. According to Peterik, Sylvester Stallone, the star and writer of the Rocky franchise, approached the band to write a song to be featured in Rocky III. Stallone explained that he wantedQueen's 1980 song, "Another One Bites the Dust," to be in the film, but the British band refused to give him the publishing rights.

Peterik said he and Survivor’s guitarist Frankie Sullivan watched a Rocky III scene and eventually came up with "Eye of the Tiger." Peterik said that Stallone enjoyed the end product.

"Stallone he calls us, 'You guys really did it. You really did it, man,'" said the musician, now 75.

In addition, Peterik said he appreciates how much the 1982 song still means to fans.

"What amazes me and it's still inspiring people to go beyond what they thought they could do. I talked to cancer patients, it got them through chemo. I talked to company presidents, that got them to the top of the ladder. Sports music, they got the 'Eye of the Tiger' and it's the best reward I could ever get as a songwriter, is hearing those stories from people. I'm just very thrilled," said Peterik in the 2017 interview.

Creating a welcoming outdoor space doesn't have to be expensive or complicated. Whether you have a small balcony, a cozy patio, or a spacious backyard, the right seating can instantly elevate your environment. Outdoor living has become more popular than ever, with homeowners seeking simple ways to extend their indoor comfort into outdoor spaces. From morning coffee to evening gatherings, a well-designed patio setup can transform how you relax and entertain.

When choosing outdoor furniture, durability and versatility are key. Weather conditions like rain, sun exposure, and humidity can quickly wear down low-quality pieces. That's why more people are prioritizing materials that can withstand the elements while still maintaining their appearance over time. Additionally, comfort plays a huge role—supportive seating encourages longer, more enjoyable outdoor moments, whether you're hosting guests or simply unwinding after a long day.

Another growing trend in outdoor decor is minimalism. Clean lines, neutral tones, and functional design make it easier to mix and match pieces without overwhelming your space. This approach allows homeowners to refresh their patio without committing to a complete redesign. Instead, adding a few well-chosen items can create a cohesive, stylish look that feels both modern and inviting.

If there’s one thing as sure as the pull of a black hole, it’s that Christopher Nolanmovies require multiple watches.

From Memento to The Prestige to Inception, the helmer’s resume is full of riddles and mind-benders fans cannot get enough of. But for all the cerebral twists, one film stands apart for something far more human: Interstellar.

Ranked No. 1, the sci-fi epic tops Letterboxd’s “Top 250 Films With the Most Fans,” a ranking that reflects how audiences keep returning to their favorite films long after opening weekend.

What keeps Interstellar at the top isn’t just scale; it’s heart. Nolan’s deepest dive into science on the big screen follows former NASA pilot Coop, played by Matthew McConaughey, on a mission to save humanity from extinction, but at its core is an emotional father-daughter story hinged on paternal guilt.

That emotional core was inentional. Taking inspiration from another sci-fi-with-heart auteur, Nolan injected the film’s screenplay with heartfelt moments using the spirit of Amblin films from the ’70s and ’80s, like Steven Spielberg’s Close Encounters of the Third Kind and Jaws. Fun fact: Spielberg was originally attached to direct Intersteller with a script written by Christopher Nolan’s brother, Jonathan Nolan (Westworld).

“I hired Chris Nolan’s brother to write the first and second draft for me, but it didn’t stick,” Spielberg told Empire, per Entertainment Weekly. Bowing out, he handed the project over to Christopher Nolan, adding, “Interstellar was a much better movie in Chris Nolan’s hands than it would have been in mine.”

“Steven went off to do another film, so it became available," Christopher Nolan explained in a February conversation with TimothĂ©e Chalamet per Variety. “I was excited by it. I was incredibly struck by [Jonathan’s] first act.”

To get the astrophysics, black holes, and time travel accurate, Nolan turned to Kip Thorne and Lynda Obst. But even more than getting Gargantuan and the Tesseract right, Nolan wanted audiences choked up during interactions between Coop and Murph.

For all its cosmic delight, Interstellar endures with fans because of its themes of family and love. The science draws us in, but it’s the feeling that keeps us watching. Again. And again.

It's another day, another slay for ageless supermodel and entrepreneur Christie Brinkley, 72—and last night on the red carpet in New York City, next to her lookalike daughter, model Sailor Brinkley Cook, 27, was no different. The mother-daughter duo were photographed glammed up and gorgeous, attending the gala screening of the documentary Brunello: The Gracious Visionary, which celebrates the vision and life of fashion designer Brunello Cucinelli.

KhloĂ© Kardashian Calls Out Lamar Odom, Says She Regrets Joining His Documentary ‘as a Favor’

Wed, 04/15/2026 - 3:44pm

Khloé Kardashian is slamming her ex-husband Lamar Odom after appearing in his new documentary as a "favor."

Odom's documentary, Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom, premiered on Netflix on Tuesday, March 31, where he reflected on his near fatal overdose in 2015. Kardashian was featured in the documentary to share insight on their marriage during that time, including taking care of Odom after the overdose.

However, Odom has since refuted some of Kardashian's claims made in the documentary, including that Odom's father allegedly did not want him on life support. Odom also attributed his recovery to God rather than Kardashian.

Kardashian spoke about appearing in the documentary in a Wednesday, April 15 episode of her podcast Khloé in Wonderland.

"I think what's pissing me off is, we did this, all good. I was done with this. I'm like, I'm never going to do another Lamar thing again, 'cause I'm all good. But now Lamar is doing press [and saying he's] annoyed with me. Claiming or insinuating that I'm a liar, all these things, discrediting me, saying that I wasn't the one that helped him," she said in reference to comments Odom made on the Today show on April 6.

Kardashian added, "I feel so dumb," and said she's "pissed that I'm even involved."

She revealed on the podcast that she was approached by Odom's team to participate in the documentary where she told them, "I want to make sure this is a positive piece. I don't really want to go down this road if it's negative. He's been through enough."

Kardashian continued, "Everyone was like, 'No, it's amazing. It's going to be really positive. He's the one doing it. He's the one asking.' I willingly do the Netflix thing for Lamar. I'm not getting paid one penny to do this. I have no dog in this fight. It doesn't matter to me if this documentary is made or not made. I don't care. And it's also not something I really want to talk about anymore."

She said that since appearing in the documentary she feels "played."

"All I did was tell the story that I was asked by you to tell, but now to, like, play in my face and now to act like I didn't do any of the things I did and insinuate I'm a liar is crazy," she said. "Do people think I like talking about this all day long? No, it's traumatic. I would never expose someone that was not for me to expose. I kept all of that to myself for 11 years, or whenever that was. I was asked by Lamar to do this documentary. I did it for him."

Kardashian said she believes Odom is refuting her claims since the public reception to the documentary has been polarized.

"For years, he was singing my praises, all this. I don't even need you to sing my praises. But you're not now going to s*** on me or now play in my face because you don't like the reaction and the response from the public," she said.

Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom is now streaming on Netflix.

Among the male players, arguments can be made for Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, and even up-and-comer Carlos Alcaraz. Is Nick Dead on ‘The Young and the Restless’?

Wed, 04/15/2026 - 3:22pm

The Young and the Restless dropped a bomb on fans when Matt (Roger Howarth) told Adam (Mark Grossman) that Nick (Joshua Morrow) was dead.

Matt’s revelation came after Nick and Adam tried to use Riza (Tina Casciani) to get to the best of him. The Newman brothers were in Las Vegas trying to lure Matt out of hiding to keep Noah (Lucas Adams) and Sienna (Tamara Braun) safe by using Adam’s past as Spider as a cover.

🎬SIGN UP for Parade's Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox🎬

It did not work. Instead, Matt saw right through their game and kidnapped Nick. Now he is telling Nick's family that Nick died of a drug overdose.

The timing was interesting as Adam and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), who arrived in Las Vegas out of fear for Adam, just realized Nick has had a drug problem for months. Nick has been hiding his addiction to painkillers after being in the horrible accident with Matt.

Y&R fans last saw Nick when he learned that Matt had kidnapped him and tied him up in a warehouse of sorts.

Matt’s declaration to Chelsea and Adam has raised the question of whether Nick is really dead. Neither Morrow norThe Young and the Restless has commented on whether Morrow is leaving the show.

Related: ‘The Young and the Restless’ Christel Khalil Reveals Gender of Third Child Months After Giving Birth

The good news is that Morrow has been on the hit CBS soap for nearly 32 years and has no plans to leave anytime soon. Morrow just appeared on the Soapy podcast hosted by Days of Our Livesstar Greg Rikaart andThe Bold and the Beautiful star Rebecca Budig, where he admitted he loves his job and hopes to be around for a long time.

It’s unlikely the powers that be would kill Nick off in this manner, either. All signs point to Nick supposedly being dead as part of Matt’s latest reign of terror to make life for the entire Newman family miserable.

Nick Newman is a legacy character connected to one of the core families on the show. Adding to that, Morrow has been in the role for over three decades, so fans can rest assured Nick may be in trouble, but he likely isn’t dead.

The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS.

These earrings bring a playful, romantic twist to a classic silhouette, reimagining the classic huggie-style earring as softly sculpted hearts. Crafted in gold-tone brass, the hoops curve into a fluid, ribbon-like shape that hugs close to the lobe while still making a statement. At the center of each heart, a rectangular cluster of four baguette-cut cubic zirconia adds a flash of light-catching dimension seen from every angle, framed by a delicate halo of smaller stones that give just the right amount of sparkle. The contrast between the smooth, high-shine metal and the crisp geometry of the stones creates a charming and polished balance.

Designed with a secure push-back closure and a comfortably weighted feel, they sit snugly without feeling bulky, making them easy to wear from day to night. Because they sit close to the ear, they really shine when paired with open necklines like V-necks, scoop neck tees, and off-the-shoulder tops, where there’s space for them to stand out instead of getting lost in the look. They naturally frame the face, drawing attention upward in a subtle way.

'Shark Tank's Barbara Corcoran Sparks Buzz With White Swimsuit Photo

Wed, 04/15/2026 - 3:17pm

Shark Tank star and business mogul Barbara Corcoran isn't about to sit back and keep her fingers crossed when she wants something. Ever since Martha Stewart appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit in 2023 at the age of 81, the self-made millionaire has been trying to make her own cover happen and isn't giving up.

On April 15, Corcoran reposted a photo of herself posing in an orange cover-up over a white bathing suit -- the exact same color scheme Stewart wore as the 2023 cover model. The reality star first posted the picture in May 2023, with the words, "I can't cook, but I sure can swim." She reposted it again in April 2024. Judging by her Instagram caption this year, she doesn't seem likely to stop posting it anytime soon.

"It's that time of year again! Manifesting my cover next year," she wrote.

View this post on Instagram

The real estate mogul is all about self-determination. One of Corcoran's favorite stories to tell people is how she built her million-dollar real estate empire from $1,000. She credits her refusal to give up with her ex-boyfriend. After he dumped her for her secretary, he told her that she'd never succeed without him.

"I don't really think in the hindsight, when I think about it, that he meant it, but thank God he said it," she said during an appearance on Mel Robbins' podcast. "Because when he said, 'You'll never succeed without me,' I knew I'd rather die than not succeed."

Just as she was determined to be successful no matter what, she believes strongly that you make the life you want.

"You can create exactly what you want, but I think the key there really is moving on something, anything," she said. "Just get yourself moving, and then the idea becomes itself."

Corcoran is one of the original stars of Shark Tank, which is currently two episodes away from the end of Season 17. On the March 25th episode, fellow OG star Mark Cuban returned to the show after his abrupt exit last year. He joined Lori Greiner, Daymond John, and Kevin O'Leary, while his replacement, Daniel Lubetzky, was absent.

"It felt like losing a big brother," Corcoran told Katie Couric Media about Cuban's decision to leave. "No matter what he says, I don’t want him to go. He’s my favorite guy on set — partially cause he’s the richest, I have to admit — but also because what you see is what you get with Mark."

Disney World Guest, 47, Arrested After Alleged Intense Physical Altercation With Teen Girl

Wed, 04/15/2026 - 3:09pm

A visit to the “Most Magical Place on Earth” took an unsettling turn when a Disney World guest was arrested following an alleged physical confrontation at Magic Kingdom.

The incident occurred on back on February 20 at the popular attraction Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, according to an Orange County Sheriff’s Office arrest affidavit obtained by PEOPLE nearly two months later. Authorities allege that a 47-year-old man from Newcastle, U.K., identified as Keith Richard Newman, pushed an 18-year-old girl during a dispute over line etiquette.

According to the report, the teen told officers she and a friend were attempting to move through the queue to reunite with their group when they encountered Newman. The alleged victim claimed he “pushed her back with both hands,” causing her to fall into her friend and spill her water bottle. The friend told police that Newman declared, “This is a queue” before the alleged battery.

Newman reportedly admitted he extended his hand to stop the teen, stating he told her there was a line. However, he denied pushing her, claiming she walked into him and that he “never touched or pushed” the girl.

Authorities noted the teen showed no visible injuries and declined medical treatment at the scene. But based on witness statements, Newman was arrested and charged with battery. Court records indicate he was released on $1,000 bail three days later on February 23 and entered a written plea of not guilty the following day.

The incident adds to a series of unsettling headlines tied to Walt Disney World. In 2025, multiple deaths were reported across the resort over the span of a month, including incidents at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort, the Contemporary Resort, and Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. While authorities confirmed that some cases involved medical emergencies or suicide and showed no signs of foul play, the reports drew a lot of attention.

In a world ruled by instant gratification, we know you're already itching for all of the details about the next season of HBO Max's hit series The Pitt, from when it's coming back to what will happen across the 12-hour+ shift. While there is still quite some time to go before it's back on our TV screens, here's everything we know so far about the beloved medical drama's next season, which was confirmed before Season 2 even premiered.

Here's what to know about The Pitt Season 3, including cast, plot and possible premiere date.

When will Season 3 of The Pitt take place?

With Season 1 of The Pitt taking place on the day of the fictional PittFest music festival and Season 2 taking place on the 4th of July, it's safe to assume that Season 3 won't take place on any ordinary day. However, the specific day or even the time of year is not yet known.

Is there a trailer for Season 3 of The Pitt?

There isn't a trailer for Season 3 yet, as the show has not even entered production.

When will Season 3 of The Pitt start filming?

Based on Season 2 beginning production in June 2025, we suspect Season 3 will start filming around the same time this summer.

When will Season 3 of The Pitt premiere?

There's no word yet on an official release date for the hit medical procedural's third season, but if it follows the release schedule of its freshman and sophomore seasons, we can expect to see The Pitt return sometime in early January 2027.

What will happen on Season 3 of The Pitt?

If history repeats itself—and so far, it seems poised to—Season 3 of The Pitt will follow the day shifters in the emergency room at Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center throughout what should be a busy but standard 12-hour shift, before an unexpected incident of some sort extends their workday by several hours.

Presumably, Dr. Robby will be back from his motorcycle sabbatical, and perhaps Dr. Javadi will have graduated to intern, like Whitaker did this year.

Who will be on Season 3 of The Pitt?

The only casting news announced so far is that Supriya Ganesh will not be returning as Dr. Samira Mohan next season. No one else is confirmed to be staying or leaving at this time, though we have our suspicions.

11 Books Like 'Margo's Got Money Troubles,' According to Librarians

Wed, 04/15/2026 - 3:03pm

Parade aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.

It's always sad to finish a book you love and know that you have to leave behind the world it created. But the good news is that there are likely similar options you can explore to chase that same feeling. If you loved Rufi Thorpe's 2024 novel Margo's Got Money Troubles, there are similar books that delve into the same themes of trying to make it as a young woman and the chaos that can come with a quirky family.

Recently turned into an Apple TV+ series starring Elle Fanning—who also narrates the audiobook—Margo's Got Money Troubles follows 19-year-old Margo as she drops out of college and tries to pull together a life that can support her new baby. If you loved her story, burned through the first few episodes of the show (new ones air weekly on Wednesdays) and need more, you're covered here. Parade spoke with six librarians to find 11 other books you'll love—whether you found Margo's Got Money Troubles back in 2024 or just read it now to prepare for the TV adaptation.

"For readers who enjoyed Margo’s Got Money Troubles, I'd recommend books capturing the same mix of humor, honesty and the very millennial experience of trying to build a life while the goalposts keep moving and sometimes the rug keeps getting pulled out from under you," says Loanis Menendez-Cuesta, Assistant Library Director at Florida's Delray Beach Public Library.

See her recommendations, along with those of other librarians, for 11 books likeMargo's Got Money Troubles.

11 Books Like 'Margo's Got Money Troubles,' According to Librarians1. 'Where’d You Go, Bernadette' by Maria Semple

Amazon

This book was recommended by two of the librarians Parade spoke with. Menendez-Cuesta says the book "pulled me in with its humor, but what I remember most is Bernadette herself," adding, "After [Bernadette] disappears before a family trip to Antarctica, her daughter Bee tries to piece together where she went and why. As a GenXer, I connected with a woman who is clearly talented and capable, yet still trying to recover parts of herself lost to duty and expectation."

When comparing it to Margo's Got Money Troubles, Shoshana G., a children's librarian in DC, says, "Both have off-kilter female narrators, are imbued with a sense of humor and are literary but not stuffy."

2. 'Factory Girls' by Michelle Gallen

Amazon

Another recommendation provided by Shoshana is this "smart, funny" novel set in the '90s. It follows Maeve Murray as she takes a job in a shirt factory in an attempt to leave behind her small Northern Irish life for the big city of London.

3. 'Writers & Lovers' by Lily King

Amazon

This book tells Casey Peabody's story as she tries to juggle her career dreams and relationship goals while struggling for money.

"It speaks to a generation told to follow their dreams, only to face endless student loans and an insurmountable housing crisis," says Menendez-Cuesta, adding, "It’s for anyone who has ever wondered whether chasing meaning is worth the uncertainty that comes with the chase."

4. 'Just Watch Me' by Lior Torenberg

Amazon

"I'd recommend this to readers especially interested in the online-performance side of Margo’s Got Money Troubles," says Maria Fesz, a librarian at Libby. It's about Dell Danvers, who starts a livestream to raise money to help her comatose sister.

"[It's] good for those who like darkly funny explorations of characters," Fesz adds.

5. 'Last Night in Brooklyn' by Xochitl Gonzalez

Amazon

Releasing on April 21, this novel follows 26-year-old Alicia, who lives at home while she saves up to get married. It takes place on the precipice of the 2008 financial crisis as Alicia begins to explore the possibility that her life doesn't need to follow her original plan.

"Readers who connected with the money stress and ambition in Margo’s Got Money Troubles will likely gravitate toward this one," says Fesz. "It has that same sharp, emotionally complicated feel, with a heroine trying to build a future in a world that keeps making that harder."

6. 'Scavengers' by Kathleen Boland

Amazon

This story follows Bea Macon, who, after getting fired from her job, leaves behind her New York City life to move in with her free-spirited mother in Utah—all while her mother is trying to find $1 million in buried treasure in the desert. Fesz says the novel captures the "same scrappy feeling" as Margo's Got Money Troubles.

7. 'I Could Be Famous: Stories'by Sydney Rende

Amazon

This "dark, comedic short story collection" comes recommended by Kaite Stover, Kansas City Public Library's Director of Readers’ Services. The interconnected stories explore fame and scandal in Hollywood.

8. 'The Road to Tender Hearts' by Annie Hartnett

Amazon

"I think readers especially love the side characters [in Margo's Got Money Troubles] and the father in particular," says Kathleen Reidy, a reference librarian at Winchester Public Library whose debut novel, Engineering a Love Story, is out in October.

If that was you, and you gravitated towards Margo's father, Jinx, Reidy says you'll like The Road to Tender Hearts.

"[It] has a cranky but lovable old-man character, and everyone in the book is trying to sort out some kind of a mess," she says.

9. 'So Far Gone' by Jess Walter

Amazon

Reidy describes this novel as containing "another cranky old guy with a spunky daughter and tough circumstances." So it's perfect for those who enjoyed the father-daughter dynamic in Margo's Got Money Troubles.

10. 'Finlay Donovan Is Killing It' by Elle Cosimano

Amazon

Rosary Van Ingen, Digital Services Librarian at Hoboken Public Library, says this book explores how far someone would go to make ends meet. The story follows Finlay, a struggling novelist and single mom, who accidentally gets hired as a contract killer. Van Ingen calls it "laugh out loud funny."

11. 'All Fours' by Miranda July

Amazon

This book's protagonist spontaneously leaves behind her life (and her husband and child) to explore a new journey for herself.

"Driving away from your life and family isn’t necessarily a bad thing, right?" says Van Ingen, adding that the novel is "funny and poignant" and "hits all the feels."

Why ‘Temptation Island’ Fans Doubt Shyanne and Jackson’s Relationship Timeline

Wed, 04/15/2026 - 3:00pm

Each couple on Temptation Island Season 2 claimed to have a relationship they wanted to improve.  Jackson Mason and Shyanne Blankenship dated the longest, at five years.

However, the high school sweethearts' relationship changed three years in because Jackson cheated. Some fans are now doubting their story as they look deeper into their past.

Spoilers for the final bonfire!

A TikTok from April of last year showed Shyanne, 23, cuddling with Jackson Mahomes. There was another one of her with Patrick Mahomes's brother together in 2024.

Mahomes reposted the video and commented, "Use to love that girl." He also has photos with her on his Instagram in the fall of 2025.

Jackson Mason hooked up with Jesenia Sosa and Carter Erin at the men's villa. Shyanne angrily watched it at a bonfire. She then hooked up with Preston Viltz. Jackson wasn't surprised, and he later claimed Shyanne cheated first. Mark L. Wahlberg noticed that Shyanne repeatedly put Jackson down.

Jackson told her that it was hard not getting a video back from her at the final bonfire. "I know you didn't want to come here," he told her. "I'm sorry I put you through this, but I think we were put here in this position for a reason. Me and you weren't happy. I think we were stuck."

Shyanne told him it took two years for her to move past his infidelity. She claimed that she did want their relationship to work. The entrepreneur also claimed she didn't want to do the Netflix show because it would end badly. The former couple called it quits and left the island single.
