With summer right around the corner, it's time to curate a playlist perfect for sunny days. Fortunately for rock enthusiasts, Ultimate Classic Rock came up with a list of the 40 best summer songs of that genre. Ultimate Classic Rock named Don Henley's 1984 hit "The Boys of Summer" as rock's best summer song. According to the publication, Henley's beloved song secured the number one spot because the narrator poignantly grapples with getting older.

Henley, a former member of The Eagles, discussed "The Boys of Summer" in a 2015 interview on The Howard Stern Show, hosted by comedian Howard Stern. Henley told Stern that he still thinks highly of the hit, which is off his album Building The Perfect Beast.

Henley also shared that Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers' guitarist Mike Campbell co-wrote the song.

"It was a track, just a track, that [Campbell] had recorded in his home studio. This was one [Tom Petty] had rejected," said Henley, now 78.

Henley said that Campbell approached him with the track, and he began penning the song's almost painfully nostalgic lyrics.

"It's about looking back. I have a thing about looking back," explained Henley during the 2015 interview.

Henley also said that the title of the track was in homage to his appreciation of baseball.

Catherine Bach is a TV legend thanks to her role as Daisy Duke on The Dukes of Hazzard, but she looks even better in 2026 than she did back in the '70s and '80s.

Bach, 72, rose to stardom on the program, which had her character hanging with cousins Bo and Luke (played by Tom Wopat and John Schneider) on a Georgia farm. The show ran from 1979 to 1985 on CBS, and went down in history as a fan favorite. But as Bach has navigated dramatic health issues in recent years, it's great to see the brunette beauty looking better than ever in a new selfie. With the same luscious locks and bright smile, Bach smiled for the camera and made it clear she's back and better than ever.

Bach's Co-Stars Rallied Around Her During Her Health Issues

Last year, Bach was hospitalized due to an embolism that developed after surgery, Parade reported. Wopat, who played Luke Duke, shared a sweet throwback photo of the duo and expressed his love for his former co-star.

"Tom and the Wopat Webcrew are sending our heartfelt thoughts and prayers to Catherine Bach, who was recently hospitalized. Wishing her comfort and a full, speedy recovery. ❤️," Wopat captioned the photo.

Schneider, who played Bo Duke, took to Facebook to express similar sentiments.

“Attention, Dukes of Hazzard family! I just texted Catherine, and thankfully, she responded right away,” Schneider wrote. “Yes, she is in the hospital, but she assures me that she is going to be fine. She appreciates all our prayers and support and is truly disappointed not to be traveling this weekend. We love you, Catherine!”

While the stars of Dukes met decades ago on the fan favorite show, they’ve managed to stay close throughout the years, maintaining a strong bond that’s navigated many ups and downs.

 “It never occurred to us that we weren’t going to be friends for life,” Schneider told Fox News in April. “I’ve met other people from other shows, and particularly other bands… there’s a lot of bands that can’t stand one another. I couldn’t imagine a life without Tom Wopat being one of my best friends, without Catherine Bach being one of my best friends. It couldn’t possibly exist.”

Malcolm in the Middle: Life's Still Unfair wound up being a hybrid of not only a revival, but a reunion. Twenty years after the iconic sitcom took its bow at FOX, the show returned for a four-episode stint on Hulu, bringing back Frankie Muniz, Bryan Cranston, Jane Kaczmarek and the whole family.

Fans were even treated to myriad surprise guest appearances from notable characters from the show. Not only is Abe (Gary Anthony Williams) still supporting Hal, but so are all the poker buddies/amateur singing group. Francis (Christopher Masterson) is surprised by his old military school pals, who are still up to their own form of high crimes and misdemeanors. We even got a special cameo from three of the "Krelboynes," Malcolm's similarly gifted friends, who have somehow become even stranger over the past 20 years.

And, when speaking to Malcolm in the Middle creator Linwood Boomer, as well as his wife and executive producer Tracy Katsky Boomer, they reveal the chief person to get everyone on board was, fittingly, the head of the proverbial household.

"Bryan Cranston really was the one," Tracy tells Parade in an exclusive interview. "He kept going out and talking to everybody and coming back. It was part of his big pitch to Linwood. 'I talked to everybody. Everybody would love to do it.'"

That said, Linwood does say there wasn't neessarily an open invitation to everyone who's stepped foot on set from 1999 to 2006.

"I was thinking about the people I wanted to see back and the actors I really loved," he recalls. "And there were some of them we couldn't do. We just sort of ran out of paid space and time. You can't do six hour-long episodes. But I'd written it, and then checked their interest. And a couple of them couldn't do it, and so we had to change. But we got as many back as we could."

Despite all of the familiar, there was one very notable face on Life's Still Unfair who looked a little...different. Of course, one of the biggest news items going into the revival was that Erik Per Sullivan would not be returning to his role as Dewey. The former child actor left the industry years ago, and despite being offered what Kaczmarek called "buckets of money," he declined the opportunity. And so a casting call was put out, and a new Dewey was found: Caleb Ellsworth-Clark.

"A lot of people said, 'If you hadn't told me it was a different actor, I would have just assumed it was Erik,'" Linwood says. "He's not only got that same sort of face and look. He's just got the same sort of wispy, ethereal manner to him. I mean, when he talks, he's got the same sort of Dewey speech patterns. It was very easy casting."

That said, even if they had a dead ringer for Dewey, it doesn't mean they weren't holding out hope that Per Sullivan would change his mind at the last second. And Tracy reveals that the aspiration actually influenced the role Dewey played in the revival.

"One of the reasons he's on the laptop so much is because we were hopeful right up until the last minute that Eric would change his mind," she says.

Indeed, Dewey's part in these four episodes is pretty much virtual-only. In the years since the original run, he's finally been acknowledged for his genius musical talents. And they've led him to Europe, where he consistently FaceTimes the family from whatever hotel room he's in — and the woman he's with — that week. And Linwood says that, after conceptualizing that, he actually went back to Per Sullivan for one final pitch.

"I said, 'Look, I've written it so that you can do it in half a day. We can set up a room at your house, shoot for half a day and you're done. That'll do it.' And he was like, 'No. Just please recast it.'"

Given the celebrational aspect of Life's Still Unfair, it is tragic not to have Per Sullivan back to join his onscreen family. But with the blessing he gave for his replacement, and the superb skills Ellsworth-Clark had personifying the fan-favorite character, it's safe to say things were in good hands.

Hollywood icon Barbara Bain was spotted on a rare outing in Beverly Hills on Thursday, April 9. According to photos published by the Daily Mail, the actress, best know for her role as Cinnamon Carter Crawford in the television series Mission: Impossible, looked lovely as she pushed her shopping cart in the parking lot.

Bain, 94, wore a pair of black-and-white polka dot slacks, a dark-colored blouse, a white blazer, and a pair of white flat dress shoes. She had her white hair held back in a black clip and wore a pair of dangling earrings that provided a small pop of color.

Bain hasn't done much in the entertainment world over the past several years. According to IMDb, she had a handful of roles from 2018 through present day, including an appearance in the television show Before, that was released in 2024. She is set to be a part of the upcoming film When the Voiceless Roar, co-starring Don Baldaramos, Aaron Gaffey, and Eileen Grubba.

Back in 2020, Bain discussed her long, successful career with Film Talk.

"I’m still working, and I still love it, just like I did when I first embraced it," the told the outlet. "The whole thing is amazing to me, everything about my life is amazing to me, and I certainly cherish it. I have no complaints whatsoever. Up until COVID-19, I was doing dance classes three times a week. I would suggest to anybody at any time in their life to just keep moving because I think that makes a big difference," she added.

Thirty-seven years ago today, New Kids On The Block were still relatively new on the music scene and were about to change pop music in a major way.

Following the release of their second album, Hangin' Tough, the group that helped launch the modern boy band era released their first No. 1 hit and plenty of slow dance memories on Apr. 10, 1989.

"I'll Be Loving You (Forever)" was NKOTB's third release from Hangin' Tough, with "Please Don't Go Girl" coming out first in April 1988 and becoming the group's first top 10 song on the Billboard Hot 100. They followed with "You Got It (The Right Stuff)" in October 1988, and that banger made it all the way up to No. 3 on that same chart.

By April 1989, the group, comprised of brothers Jonathan and Jordan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, and Danny Wood, was starting to heat up. So when they released "I'll Be Loving You (Forever)", fans were ready. On June 17, 1989, the song hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and stayed on the Top 40 for 14 weeks.

The song didn't win any major awards, but it did help push NKOTB's win for Favorite Pop/Rock Band in 1990 at the American Music Awards in 1990. "I'll Be Loving You (Forever)" also became the boy band's signature slow song and a staple at school dances of the early '90s.

While it doesn't get as much modern airplay as other hits like "Step By Step" or "You Got It (The Right Stuff)," NKOTB's first No. 1 is still in the rotation on '80s and throwback radio stations. Travelers are sounding off after American Airlines quietly rolled out new baggage fees and tighter restrictions—changes many say they didn’t see coming.

Across social media, frustrated flyers are calling the updates “ridiculous” and “just another way to charge more,” with some even reconsidering future trips. The biggest issue? What used to be a simple part of flying is suddenly more complicated—and potentially more expensive—leaving passengers scrambling to figure out what’s changed before their next flight.

The updated policy affects everything from how much you’ll pay to check a bag to stricter enforcement around carry-on sizing, catching even the most frequent of flyers totally off guard. While airlines have been steadily increasing fees in recent years (something many people mentioned seemed like a bandwagon effect), many travelers say this latest move by American Airlines feels like a tipping point—especially as travel demand heads into peak season for spring and summer vacations.

In addition to baggage, the updates affect Basic Economy fare now being differentiated from the standard Main Cabin offering. "These changes are the result of the airline’s continuing evaluation of pricing and in light of the current operating environment," the airline announced in a statement on Thursday, April 9.

For tickets booked on or after the date of the communication, the new bag fee for domestic flights—including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands—Canada, and short-haul international flights is as follows: $50 for the first checked bag, $60 for the second checked bag and $200 for the third checked bag when purchased at the airport.

Further, booking the cheapest flights will cost you in other areas, as there is another upcharge for bags for those seats: You'll pay $5 extra per bag when choosing a domestic Basic Economy ticket.

While prepaying online or via the AA app can save you a few dollars—a $5 discount on the first and second bags, to be exact—the price hike is something travelers are airing grievances over, reporting strong dissatisfaction over the constantly changing inconveniences associated with travel services.

"For Basic Economy tickets purchased May 18 and beyond, all customers, including those with status, will be able to select a seat for a fee and will not be eligible for complimentary and systemwide upgrades," the notice continued to share.

In the comments section of an Instagram post shared by The Points Guy, people dropped their unfiltered thoughts on the matter.

"Remember when airlines competed by making their services BETTER?" one disgruntled customer recalled, while another surmised, "I am starting to feel as though the airlines do not want people to fly anymore."

"It’s funny how there is no competition between airlines. One raises prices and the rest follow. Not one dares to fight for new customers by LOWERING PRICES and COSTS," a third agreed, in part.

"Do the airlines even want any customers anymore? This is just ridiculous," someone else lamented.

Despite the surge in prices and updates to seating policies, the brand's VIPs will hold on to some benefits, the airline's statement clarified. "All AAdvantage status members will continue to receive complimentary bags on American Airlines flights. In addition, most AAdvantage credit cardmembers also get their first eligible checked bag free on domestic American Airlines itineraries."

Premium seat holders on domestic and international flights will also continue to receive complimentary bags, as well as active-duty U.S. military personnel on all American flights.

Pamela Anderson is a pop culture icon with a long list of accomplishments. Since her start in 1989, she has made headlines as an actress, model, and cookbook author. Now, she is releasing her first home décor collection, which she calls "playful and nostalgic."

Anderson partnered with Olive Ateliers, an LA-based lifestyle brand, to create The Sentimentalist line, which includes 40 pieces of indoor and outdoor furniture. She revealed the pieces were inspired by her upbringing in Vancouver Island, Canada. They reflect her love of all things outdoors.

“I walk every morning, in rain, snow, sleet, hail," she told Architectural Digest. "I’m walking at the first light. I’m in New York, I’m in Central Park. If I’m in LA, I’m walking Pepperdine up in Malibu or on the beach. It’s really important for me to be outside."

Anderson explained that each piece fits into her “very analog way of life.” The collection includes teak tables, accent pillows, lamps, baskets, and rattan furniture. The official site states, "Born from memories of her grandmother’s farm along the Salish Sea, the collection embraces the sunroom lounge chair long reserved for reading, worn into familiarity through years of holding, waiting, and remembering her."

Anderson also spoke about her grandmother. “We started the collaboration by really looking at my home and looking at all these incredible wicker pieces that I've kept and carried around with me or things that my grandmother left behind," she said. "I just have such a soft spot [for these things]—and so many memories.”

What Has Phil Collins Said About Parenting?

With five children, Collins is proud of each one for the way they're navigating life. He told British presenter Zoe Ball for the BBC podcast series “Eras” that they all have their heads on straight.

“My kids are amazingly well-adjusted considering some of the things that they’ve been through. I’m very, very proud of all of them. They’ve all stood on their own and done what they believe in," said Collins.

Phil Collins Has Navigated Health Troubles

Collins has been candid about his health struggles, telling the BBC earlier this year that “everything that could go wrong with me, did go wrong with me” in recent years.

“I can walk, albeit with assistance,” he said. “I have a 24-hour, live-in nurse to make sure I take my medication as I should do."

He noted that he's had a handful of surgeries on his knees. "

I’ve had challenges with my knee, I had everything that could go wrong with me, did go wrong with me. I got Covid in hospital, my kidneys started to back up,” the music man shared. “I’d probably been drinking too much, and so my kidneys were messed up. I wasn’t one of those guys that sort of stayed up all night drinking. I’d drink during the day, but I guess I had too much of it.”

Like its polar opposite in horror, comedy remains quite possibly the most difficult genre to explore in the larger realm of cinema. After all, what one viewer finds funny, another might find painfully bland, gross or in flat-out bad taste.

Even when you consider how subjective comedy itself remains, most viewers continue to single out certain past movies that have delighted audiences across generations. Such is the case with 1974's irreverent Western spoof, Blazing Saddles, which Rolling Stone's readers voted the "Funniest Movie of All Time" in an official magazine poll.

Often cited as director Mel Brooks' best and funniest film, Blazing Saddles acts as a satirical take on the traditional Western genre, featuring racy humor that explored some of the genre's most problematic elements, including casual racism, sexism, antisemitism and more.

Despite its less-than-PC characteristics by today's standards, the film remains a classic in American comedy, leading to its favorable reputation among modern viewers.

"The Hollywood Western as on its last legs in 1974 when Mel Brooks decided to create this spoof, which took all the cliches from the genre and totally subverted them," Rolling Stone said of the movie. "Cleavon Little plays a Black sheriff in an all-white town that's being pushed away to make room for a new line of train tracks. No attempt whatsoever is made to be historical, and it even feature a cameo by Count Basie playing himself and a gag about Adolf Hitler. More importantly, it's relentlessly silly."

Along with Brooks' 1974 spoof, the list features some additional works from the accomplished comedic director, including Young Frankenstein (number five on the list).

Rounding the remaining top four spots were Airplane!, Monty Python and the Holy Grail and Animal House, along with several other cult classics like Caddyshack and This Is Spinal Tap further down the list.

The punk duo Lambrini Girls have dropped out of Coachella and postponed their upcoming tour after one of their members suffered an acute brain injury and neck fracture.

The duo comprised of Phoebe Lunny and Selin Macieira-Boşgelmez announced on Wednesday, April 8 that they would not be performing at the music festival.

"A lot of you asking about why we are not on the @coachella lineup anymore," they began on Instagram. "We have to pull out of Coachella and reschedule our whole American headline tour. Long story short: I fractured my neck and have an acute brain injury."

Lunny sustained the injury in Australia and she was "misdiagnosed, late treatment, doctors orders are I can't fly or perform for 6 weeks."

Lunny added: "Seeing people of all ages, genders and backgrounds come together to mosh, lift each other up, chant, cry, scream in both parts joyful and angry, is my greatest joy.”

The duo expressed that they were "gutted" that they will be unable to perform at Coachella.

"We wanted to be there so badly. If it was a broken leg, I would do a Dave Grohl and play it," referring to the Foo Fighters frontman breaking his leg after falling off the stage at a 2015 show in Sweden. Grohl then performed from a custom throne three months later.

Lunny concluded with, "We hope and pray there's some universe we get to play next year instead," she wrote. "Because it is my neck and brain, our hands are tied for now, but I'm lucky and expect a speedy recovery thank f*** lol."

Texas Roadhouse’s famous Honey Cinnamon Buttery Spread is getting a closer look after a viral video questioned what’s actually in it. For fans who swear by those dreamy, warm rolls and whipped topping, the ingredient breakdown caught plenty of people off guard.

In a viral video posted April 7, physician Paul Saladino, MD, zoomed in on the popular table staple. He pointed out that it isn’t just butter.

So is he right? According to the chain’s Nutritionix allergen guide, the spread is listed as a butter blend that includes artificial butter flavor, butter, buttermilk, soybean oil, and palm oil, along with honey and cinnamon.

The revelation quickly made the rounds on social media. A longtime Texas Roadhouse employee jumped in on TikTok to add context, saying, “I’ve worked seven years at Texas Roadhouse in many different positions. We don’t use butter, we use margarine, but margarine with real honey and real cinnamon.”

The news struck a nerve with some fans who assumed they were getting traditional dairy butter on those freshly baked rolls. On X, user @TheIllix wrote, “Dang! I never knew! The restaurants should have to disclose stuff like this!” And on Instagram, @bracilanewellness reacted with a simple, “Noooo, I didn’t need to know this.”

Others, however, weren’t fazed. On TikTok, @ThatGuy summed up the mood for plenty of fans: “Texas Roadhouse is too good for me to care. If I have to die eating delicious food, so be it!”

And the version sold in stores? It is labeled as dairy-free. Retailers like Walmart sell a Texas Roadhouse Honey Cinnamon Whipped Buttery Spread (7.35-ounce tub). The label notes it is inspired by the “famous honey cinnamon butter” served in restaurants, not the exact same product. Its ingredient list includes soybean oil, water, honey, palm oils, cinnamon, and additional stabilizers and preservatives.

Texas Roadhouse Steaks Also Come Under Scrutiny

Saladino didn’t stop at the butter. In the same video, he also said Texas Roadhouse cooks and seasons its steaks with seed oils and MSG unless guests request otherwise. The chain’s Nutritionix allergen guide lists soy across its steak items, though it does not specify the exact source or cooking method. While full ingredient details aren’t provided beyond the cut of steak, the guide does note that the prime rib au jus contains monosodium glutamate.

Whether you’re team “I didn’t need to know this” or team “pass the rolls anyway,” one thing is clear: those warm, honey-cinnamon-slathered rolls still have a loyal following. And as Saladino himself noted, it’s not necessarily about avoiding places like this altogether, “the key here is just knowing that at places like this, you can ask for better ingredients.”

Texas Roadhouse has long emphasized its scratch kitchen approach, and in his case, he said the restaurant prepared his meal exactly as requested.

Sevendust just announced some exciting news.

The metal rock group, which consists of Vinnie Hornsby, Morgan Rose, John Connolly, Lajon Witherspoon and Clint Lowery, revealed on Friday morning that they will be embarking on a UK and European tour this November and December. The upcoming fall shows will kick off on November 25th in Hamburg, Germany, and run through December 15 in London. Presale and VIP packages are now available, while general sale will start on Monday.

The news comes less than a week before Sevendust goes on their headlining tour across North America.

"We told yall we would be back! Pre-Sale for Tickets and VIP are open now, public on sale is Monday at 12pm at Sevendust.com," they wrote as their caption on Instagram, along with a photo of the tour poster.

The group's 15th studio album, One, will be out on May 1 via Napalm Records. Sevendust is also set on embarking on a tour around North America this spring, starting next Thursday at Carterville, Illinois, with special guests Fire from the Gods and American Adrenalin.

Formed in Atlanta in 1994, Sevendust went under various names before establishing their group and releasing a self-titled debut album three years later. Since then, they have achieved significant success with three consecutive RIAA gold-certified albums, a Grammy nomination and have sold millions of records worldwide.

Before the release of One and after the announcements of their North American tour, Rose revealed in an interview with Stan Bicknell that this upcoming album was going to be their last, and they all had plans to retire.

"A year and a half ago, this was gonna be our last record," the 57-year-old drummer said in late March. "We had a blueprint for it and everything. We actually had like a whole layout."

Rose mentioned that there was a point where Sevendust wasn't touring or creating new music (their last album, Truth Killer, was released in 2023), but after many discussions, they decided to "tour harder than [they] ever toured." The metal group went on their Southside Double-Wide: Acoustic Live Tour around the United States last fall, and opened for Creed and Alter Bridge during their What Lies Within Tour right after.

"It was a decision that went from 'We're gonna retire,' to 'No, no, no. We're gonna actually put the afterburner on now instead," Rose concluded.

Sevendust's newest album, One, will be out on streaming platforms on May 1. Fans can purchase tickets to their upcoming North America and Europe shows on their official website.

A recent TikTok posted by @bequietlybrave shows a man asking children behind him to stop kicking his seat during a flight. What happened next? According to the video, the parents didn’t apologize, and instead, they got offended.

The clip quickly gained traction, tapping into a shared frustration many frequent flyers know all too well: being stuck in a cramped seat while someone behind you turns your chair into a footrest. But beyond the annoyance, the video sparked a broader conversation about etiquette, parenting, and how to handle uncomfortable situations in the air.

What Happened in the Video

On TikTok, we see two screaming kids sitting next to each other who appear to be their parents. We hear the audio of what appears to be the person recording the video asking the kids to quiet down. Who appears to the mom says, “Are you telling them to be quiet?” and elsewhere we hear someone say, “We are on a public flight, bro.”

The video continues with the person recording imitating the kids' yelling, as the children seem to go silent.

While the exact tone and context are always debated in viral moments like this, the situation itself is incredibly relatable. Stories of disruptive kids on flights aren’t new, and in fact, similar incidents have gone viral before, often dividing viewers on who’s really at fault.

As expected, TikTok users had a lot to say, and opinions were split.

Many commenters sided with the passenger, arguing that basic courtesy should apply regardless of age. Some pointed out that while kids will be kids, it’s ultimately the parents’ responsibility to manage disruptive behavior in shared spaces.

Another comment added, “great learning experience for the kids btw.”

Others, however, defended the parents, noting that flying with children is stressful and unpredictable. A few users suggested the man could have approached the situation with more patience or empathy, especially if the child was very young.

One commenter who was on the parents' side said, “Fair to be annoyed, but yelling at the kids was a bit much.”

• Use distractions: Headphones, music, or even a neck pillow can help minimize the impact of minor disruptions.
• Get help if needed: If the situation doesn’t improve, flight attendants are there to help. They can step in without making things awkward.
• Choose your battles: Sometimes, it’s about deciding what’s worth addressing. If it’s occasional kicking versus constant disruption, your response might differ.

The viral TikTok highlights a common travel dilemma with no easy answer. Passengers deserve a comfortable flight but parents are also navigating the challenges of traveling with kids in a high-pressure environment.

The real takeaway? A little mutual respect goes a long way. Whether you’re the one getting your seat kicked or the one trying to keep a child entertained at 30,000 feet, how you respond can make or break the entire flight experience.

Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie‘s mom, Nancy Guthrie, is still missing more than two months after she was abducted from her Tucson, Ariz., home—and a DNA expert recently explained how new technology could help finally solve the case.

As Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos shared in February—not long after Nancy, 84, went missing—DNA samples taken from her home are mixed. This means they contain genetic material from more than one person, making it difficult to run through national databases.

"Our lab tells us that there are challenges with it," Nanos said of the Florida lab processing the DNA, per Fox News. "The technology is moving so fast and in such a frenzy that they think some of this stuff will resolve itself just in a matter of weeks, months, or maybe a year."

During the April 9 episode of Brian Entin Investigates, the NewsNation senior national correspondent spoke with CeCe Moore, a genetic genealogist who also stars in the ABC documentary series The Genetic Detective.

“I think there are a lot of efforts to be able to improve our ability," Moore told Brian Entin, of de-convoluting mixed DNA samples. "Because we run into that so often with sexual assaults, or as the technology becomes more sensitive with transfer DNA, the ability to detect the tiniest amount of DNA that someone leaves behind really increases the likelihood you’re going to get a mixture, right? Like on a doorknob, for instance."

Moore explained that companies working with law enforcement use whole genome sequencing. However, at this point, "there’s really no good techniques to de-convolute on those.” The genetic genealogist said she hopes that investigators will have another chance of collecting a "good source of DNA" in Nancy's case.

Additionally, Moore speculated that a company "planning to release a new mixture deconvolution software has probably rushed that."

"I suspect that that has been moved up to right now," she told Entin. "...So I suspect there are a number of people that are working as fast as they can, trying to figure out a way to work with these more complex mixtures. Nancy’s case is certainly the one that is making this a top priority. But it’s something we really need in the field anyway.”

In the meantime, something else Moore said could lead to a break in Nancy's case is a second crime scene—whether that's a car, or another place where she was held—because it could yield a better DNA sample. “The really sad part is if they find her body, if she’s deceased, that gives them another opportunity,” she added. “And so, I don’t think it’s the end.”

Moore continued, "If a second crime scene isn’t found soon or Nancy isn’t found soon, then the next best thing would be to return to that known crime scene to see if they can find DNA. Because if he was there for 40 minutes or 42 minutes, which I’ve heard is a theory, then it’s almost impossible not to leave your DNA behind.”

Nancy was last seen at her Tucson home on the evening of Jan. 31. As of writing, no suspect has been named, despite Savannah offering a $1 million reward for information leading to her recovery.
