Disneyland Is Offering a Rare Evening Ticket Deal This Summer

Tue, 06/30/2026 - 2:25pm

Summer is one of the most popular times to visit Disneyland, but it can also be one of the busiest. Between soaring temperatures, packed walkways and long attraction lines, some guests have started looking for ways to enjoy the parks without spending hundreds and committing to a full day.

Now, Disneyland is giving visitors another option. The resort has introduced a limited-time ticket offer that makes it easier to experience the parks after the daytime rush, making it an appealing choice for anyone hoping to soak up the magic during cooler evening hours.

Experience Disneyland After Dark for Less This Summer View this post on Instagram

KTLA reports that the new option, available beginning June 30, costs $59 for ages 3 and up and grants admission to one park for the evening. Tickets are for select nights from July 12 through August 5 and are valid Sundays through Wednesdays.

Guests can choose between Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park, with admission beginning at 7 p.m. for Disneyland Park and 5 p.m. for Disney California Adventure.

The timing also lines up with the ongoing Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration, giving evening ticket holders the chance to experience anniversary entertainment, themed merchandise, limited-time treats and the festive atmosphere that continues throughout the summer.

For many visitors, evening is one of the best times to enjoy Disneyland. Temperatures tend to cool off, the parks take on a completely different look after sunset, and nighttime entertainment helps create an unforgettable atmosphere.

There's Plenty to See Once You're Inside

The evening ticket also arrives at an exciting time for Disneyland fans. The resort recently refreshed its iconic Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, giving returning guests another reason to stop by and experience one of the park's most beloved rides.

Of course, attractions aren't the only draw. Disneyland continues to introduce seasonal snacks and fan-favorite menu items throughout the summer, making it a great opportunity to sample some of the resort's best food while strolling through the parks after dark.

Because the promotion is only available for a limited time and reservation availability is separate from standard park admission, guests planning to take advantage of the offer may want to book sooner rather than later.

Disneyland's new evening ticket is one of the season's best values. Whether you're hoping to catch nighttime entertainment, ride classic attractions or enjoy a summer evening surrounded by Disney magic, this limited-time offer makes it affordable to plan a Disney visit.

This Classic 'Adult Fairytale' With Longest-Ever Cannes Ovation Returns to Theaters

Tue, 06/30/2026 - 2:20pm

Guillermo del Toro's latest masterpiece Frankenstein was showered in Academy Award nominations and even walked away with a few trophies earlier this year.

The renowned filmmaker, 61, also won three Oscars for Pan's Labyrinth, which is now celebrating its 20th anniversary in the most cinematic of ways.

Cineverse is partnering to re-release del Toro's master creation in theaters nationwide on October 9 in 4K and with versions available in both 3D and HDR by Barco — the dedicated HDR viewing solution offering up to 6 times higher peak luminance. Each version for the re-release has been overseen by The Shape of Water director himself.

Check out the all-new trailer for the epic re-release below.

As film buffs might recall, the film's original claim to fame was its Cannes Film Festival premiere, which received a 22-minute standing ovation — the longest in festival history. Twenty years later, after all the other award-winning films del Toro has made since, fans still argue Pan's Labyrinth is his best of all time.

The story takes place in 1944, in the aftermath of the Spanish Civil War. Young Ofelia and her pregnant mother have been brought to live in the countryside, where her brutal stepfather Captain Vidal's job is to wipe out the remaining rebels camped in the local forest. Nearby, in a hidden labyrinth, Ofelia meets an ageless Faun, who tells her that she is really a princess from an enchanted world. He gives her three tasks which she must complete in order to reclaim her rightful place. As her mother's failing health threatens the life of her unborn child, Ofelia undertakes a quest to complete the Faun's tasks.

Tickets for Guillermo del Toro’s Pan Labyrinth 20th Anniversary will be available online on September 9 and at participating theater box offices (theater locations are subject to change). People In These 5 States Are Most Likely to Catch Food Poisoning This Fourth of July Weekend

Tue, 06/30/2026 - 2:09pm

The Fourth of July is expected to be a busy travel weekend this year, despite gas prices. The TSA anticipates over 18 million travelers at U.S. airports, and AAA estimatesover 61 million will road trip to their destinations. The long weekend is often a favorite for getaways, and with the country’s 250th anniversary this year, many will be headed to celebrations in patriotic destinations like Philadelphia or fireworks show favorites like Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Others will be trying to beat the heat with a coolcation or a visit to fan-favorite ice cream parlors.

Wherever your summer vacation is taking you this weekend, it’s that time of year when locals and travelers alike should be most mindful of the risk of foodborne illnesses. While food poisoning can happen any time of year, cases are more prevalent in the summer months when temperatures push food into the danger zone faster, and people are more likely to store and dine on food outdoors at picnics, barbecues, and cookouts.

The Top 5 States for Foodborne Illness

The Global Casino Association™ recently compiled data on the states where you’re most likely to risk a foodborne illness, aggregated from the CDC's National Outbreak Reporting System (NORS), alongside public food safety reports and consumer complaints. They found the top five states for food poisoning are Oregon, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Colorado, and Nevada.

The safest states for foodborne illnesses are Alaska, Indiana, Utah, Missouri, and Ohio. That might feel surprising given how much some of the safest states love a mayonnaise-based salad. But many variables can affect how a state scores on this particular potential nausea index.

Related: Kylie Kelce Finally Has a Solid Reason To Convince Jason They Need a Cat

Why Is Food Poisoning More Common in Some States than Others?

For one, states can vary widely in climate. Places where it’s more comfortable to host outside in the summer heat might see more incidents of, say, macaroni salad going bad after a couple of hours at 70-80 degrees. Cities where your Fourth of July bash is more likely to be held in air-conditioned spaces or with access to coolers and refrigerators might have fewer deviled-egg-related incidents.

For another, we eat very different dishes in different parts of the country. Coastal states like Oregon and Delaware are more likely to have seafood on the menu, like raw oysters and clams, which were just recalled in several states by the FDA for potential norovirus contamination. Some communities, such as the Amish in Pennsylvania, are more likely to drink raw milk and other unpasteurized dairy products, which can harbor harmful bacteria.

On the other hand, different communities report foodborne illness incidents at higher rates or have different state food safety standards, factors that can affect the available data. Groups like the Amish may be less likely to self-report instances of foodborne and other illnesses, for instance. Conversely, the FDA has mutual reliance partnerships and other agreements with state oversight agencies in Alaska, California, Florida, Hawaii, Iowa, Minnesota, New York, Rhode Island, Utah, Virginia, and Wisconsin, which increases the use of laboratory results and standardized reporting.

Also at play is the degree of confidence Americans have in the safety of their food system, which has declined over the last twenty years, as has overall trust in federal institutions related to public health. As the saying goes, however, knowledge is power. Some of the riskiest foods to eat, according to data compiled by Consumer Reports, include deli meat, cucumbers, unpasteurized dairy products, soft cheeses, eggs, onions, leafy greens, organic carrots, organic basil, pre-cooked and prepared meats (particularly poultry), and sprouts.

Essentially, watch the crudités platter, dips, queso fresco, brie, party subs, and fruit plates this summer in addition to the potato salad and ambrosia. Keep chilled foods under 40°F by storing them on ice or in separate coolers from drinks, and keep those coolers shut as much as possible. According to the FDA, food is safest if it sits at room temperature for 2 hours or less when temperatures are below 90°F, or for 1 hour when temperatures are above 90°F.

Be sure to wash produce, heat deli meats if possible, and set up an outdoor hand-wash station for food prep and dining. Thaw and marinate meat in the refrigerator, rather than on the counter, and dispose of any marinades or glazes that have come into contact with raw meat or meat juices. Keep cooked and grilled food above 140°F.

Keep a particular eye on older people over 65, children under 5, pregnant people, and anyone with a weakened immune system. The CDC advises that these groups are more likely to contract a foodborne illness from contaminated ingredients or prepared dishes, or to experience adverse consequences if they are exposed to Listeria, Salmonella, Norovirus, E. coli, Campylobacter, or other pathogens.

Food poisoning is pretty common, with 1 in 6 contracting a foodborne illness every year. That’s about 48 million people annually. That said, don’t let those odds get you down. There are plenty of ways to enjoy summer treats safely, whether you’re grilling in the backyard or traveling to an exciting new destination this Fourth of July weekend.

'Cape Fear': 4 Songs That Inspired Javier Bardem

Tue, 06/30/2026 - 2:06pm

We have a new Max Cady, 35 years after Robert De Niro starred in Cape Fear. The story is being retold through a series, and Javier Bardem is playing the unsettling sociopath.

Music is a good way to get inspired or change the mood. The Cape Fear cast talked about how they used it to play their distressed characters.

Slipknot and Linkin Park Inspired Max Cady in 2026's 'Cape Fear'

The Apple TV series strived to make a new take on adapting The Executioners by John D. MacDonald. Cady gets out of prison after 17 years for a murder he didn't commit. Bardem's Cady has tattoos, scars on his head, and blue eyes. Bardem wore contacts to cover his natural brown eyes.

"He has a very horrible wound in his head, and that should be reflected in some way, somehow — in his eyes, maybe," the actor told Radio Times. "So, yeah, those are the fun elements to play with. It's like a toy that you play with, and then one day it all comes together."

Metal music inspired the look. "I listened to five songs especially," Bardem told Kerrang! "Two from Linkin Park: 'Given Up,' with the great Chester [Bennington], and 'Up From The Bottom' from the last album, From Zero."

The actor praised the band's new lead singer. "I think [Emily Armstrong] is an amazing singer," he continued. "She really brought it back. Those two songs really express frustration and the fight for raising up from [one ’s] own ashes that [resonates] with Max."

The star moved on to the next band that was part of his process. "And songs by Slipknot, 'Falling In Reverse' and 'Bad Omens,'" Bardem said. "I’m so bad with the names of songs, but they were in my head all day long before doing anything and helped put me in the mood."

Amy Adams Sang While Making 'Cape Fear'

Amy Adams plays Anna Bowden, who was Cady's lawyer. He doesn't waste any time to find her. Lily Collias plays her daughter in the series. Collias, 21, had a special request of the 51-year-old Oscar nominee.

"I mean, she really felt like a mother figure throughout the production," she told PEOPLE. "And she was such a powerhouse that led with her heart. And she was just like really magical to be around, always."

Collias wasn't scared to tell the actress that she was a fan of her fairy tale movie. "And I would always be like, ‘Amy, can you sing a little Enchanted song, please?’" she said. Of course, Adams still performed the songs well. "Her voice is perfect, always in the right tone and everything," Collias added.

Juliette Lewis played the young actress's role in the Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg film. Lewis, 53, returned for the Apple TV adaptation as Crystal. Scorsese and Spielberg are also the producers of the series.

Chloë Sevigny Reveals The Funny Reason Her Role In 'Five Star Weekend' Is 'A Gift' To Her Mom

Tue, 06/30/2026 - 1:56pm

Chloë Sevigny's latest project is going to be mom-approved.

Chatting on the Today show on Tuesday, the actress got to talking about why she was initially hesitant to take on her latest role in Peacock's Five Star Weekend, and how her mom influenced her decision to star in the show.

"I was like, 'I don't know if my audience will really like this, if my fans will really get this,'" she said, confirming that she thought the role was a bit too mainstream for her. "But I was like, 'You know what, my mom will finally be able to walk through the grocery store and not have an awkward conversation about something that I'm on. So it was my gift to my mother."

"All of her friends are gonna love it, and everybody in the grocery store is gong to run up like, 'Oh isn't it the best show ever?'" she said.

Five Star Weekend is the TV adaptation of the book by Elin Hilderbrand. The series also starsJennifer Garner, Gemma Chan and Regina Hall.

Premiering on the streaming platform in July, the show follows Garner's character who loses her husband and arranges for friends throughout her life — who haven't met and have their own individual stories — to spend a weekend with her.

A departure from her earlier roles, including her breakout role in Kids in 1995, and her Oscar-nominated performance in Boys Don't Cry in 1999, the tamer tone of Five Star Weekend is most definitely a change for the actress' provocative and independent film roles she's become known for.

Sevigny is also executive producing a documentary on the Grateful Dead, called Summer Tour, also out in July. The self-proclaimed "Dead Head" told Today that "all Dead Heads will love it and fans of music and people that are into alternative cultures [will too]."

Another one of Hildebrand's books, The Perfect Couple, was also adapted to the TV screen in a show starring Nicole Kidman and Liev Schreiber in 2024.

Dodge Public Pool Crowds During the Heat Wave With Walmart's 'Family-Sized' Inflatable Pool, Now 60% Off

Tue, 06/30/2026 - 1:48pm

With temperatures climbing this week and heat waves expected in some parts of the country, finding ways to stay cool is at the top of everyone's list. But if a trip to the public pool sounds more stressful than relaxing, a backyard inflatable pool can be an easy alternative. Luckily, Walmart is offering a flash deal on a family-sized option that's currently 60% off.

The nearly 10-foot Taskbay Oversized Inflatable Swimming Pool is now just $40 (down from $100). Spacious enough for two adults and three children, it’s ideal for everything from weekend play to relaxing in the backyard after a hot afternoon. There’s also a version with a built-in canopy on sale for $57 for added sun protection. Reviewers described it as “durable” and “roomy,” with one shopper adding that it “blows up really quickly for its size.”

At 120 inches long, 68 inches wide and 22 inches, this oversized inflatable pool is roomy enough for the whole family. As one shopper shared, it's "big enough for multiple kids (and even adults) to sit and cool off without feeling cramped." They also noted that it’s great "for hot days or little family hangouts."

Durability is another selling point. The pool is constructed with extra-thick PVC that's twice as thick as standard PVC. That means it can stand up to hours of splashing, pool games, and family fun all summer long. It also features three separate air chambers that help it stay inflated and prevent leaks. "My kids have played hard with this thing and it's holding up great," one reviewer wrote. Plus, it's made from BPA-free materials, making it a family-friendly choice.

The pool inflates in about three to four minutes with an electric pump (sold separately), so it won’t take long for the fun to get started. Once summer is over, it can also double as a ball pit or indoor play space for younger kids, so you get more use out of it year-round.

Parents said it’s an instant hit with kids. “Got this for my small children,” one shopper wrote. “They couldn’t wait for me to finish pumping it up before getting in.” Another reviewer called it “a great value for a family-sized inflatable pool,” while a fellow shopper noted it’s also “perfect for a few adults.”

One of Country Music's Biggest Crossover Hits Is Climbing the Charts Again 46 Years Later

Tue, 06/30/2026 - 1:47pm

More than four decades after it first raced up the charts, Eddie Rabbitt's signature hit "Drivin' My Life Away" is finding new life with music fans.

The 1980 classic made its very first appearance on Billboard's Digital Song Sales chart this week, debuting at No. 23 and introducing one of country music's defining crossover hits to a new generation of listeners. Perhaps the song's surging new success is due to its inclusion in the racing video game NASCAR 25, the soundtrack for which was overseen by drivers Dale Earnhardt Jr., Ryan Blaney and Bubba Wallace.

Released in June 1980 as the lead single from Rabbitt's platinum-selling album Horizon, "Drivin' My Life Away" was inspired by the singer's own experience working as a truck driver before finding success in Nashville. Rabbitt co-wrote the song with Even Stevens and David Malloy, turning the long hours and lonely highways of truckers into one of country music's most infectious singalongs.

Related: Iconic ’70s Country-Rock Band Is Climbing the Charts Again 67 Years After Forming

The song became a breakthrough crossover success. It climbed to No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart while also reaching No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 3 on the Adult Contemporary chart, proving Rabbitt could appeal far beyond traditional country audiences. The crossover success of "Drivin' My Life Away" paved the way for an even bigger smash just months later when "I Love a Rainy Night" topped all three charts, cementing Rabbitt as one of the biggest crossover stars of the era.

Long before launching his recording career, Rabbitt had already made a name for himself as one of Nashville's most respected songwriters. He wrote Elvis Presley's 1970 hit "Kentucky Rain" and Ronnie Milsap's chart-topper "Pure Love" before signing with Elektra Records in 1975 and beginning his own run of hits.

Related: Country Star Breaks 49-Year-Old Billboard Record With No. 1 Hit Song

Music critics often credited Rabbitt with helping shape the polished country-pop sound that dominated the early 1980s. Along with hits including "Every Which Way but Loose," "Suspicions," "Step by Step" and "You and I" with Crystal Gayle, "Drivin' My Life Away" showcased his ability to blend country storytelling with rock and pop influences without losing his Nashville roots.

Rabbitt died in 1998 at age 56, but his music has continued to resonate with audiences. The latest Billboard milestone suggests that "Drivin' My Life Away" is still connecting with listeners, more than 45 years after the road anthem first became one of the defining crossover hits of its time.

LeBron James Leaving Lakers: Fans React, Plus What's Next for Bronny James

Tue, 06/30/2026 - 1:41pm

LeBron James will not return for a ninth season with the Los Angeles Lakers. ESPN first reported the all-time highest-scoring player’s decision on Tuesday, ahead of the NBA’s free agency window.

Who will LeBron play for in the 2026-2027 season?

As of now, there’s no word on who the 41-year-old will play for. With the free agency window opening Tuesday, June 4, at 6 pm, it’s anyone’s guess.

While James has not publicly addressed his decision, fans and insiders alike have thoughts on where the now-former Laker will go.

Some have mused that he could return to Miami or Cleveland, while others note that, with Draymond Green declining his $27.6 million player option, the Warriors could consider signing James.

Klutch Sports CEO Rich Paulrecently told ESPN’s Shams Charania, “LeBron James is one of the greatest athletes in history. We will always be thankful for his eight years with the Lakers, including the title he led us to in 2020 under the toughest imaginable circumstances and the countless records he broke in purple and gold.”

Jeanie Buss, Lakers’ governor, also told ESPN, “We wish him all the best in the future, both on the court and off. He will always be a cherished part of the Lakers family.”

Will Bronny James continue to play for the Lakers?

In 2024, LeBron and Bronny James made history as the first father-son pairing to hit the court together on the same NBA team. So will Bronny stay with the Lakers now that his famous father is leaving? As of now, it looks like he could.

Bronny is entering his third year of a four-year contract with the NBA team. With his 2026-2027 season contract now fully guaranteed, he will likely remain a Laker. That is, unless he is traded (or pushes for a trade).

What do fans think about LeBron leaving the Lakers?

Bronny is actually at the top of the list of fan concerns. At least, on social media. In an NBA subreddit post, one commenter joked, “Who gets custody of Bronny?” while another noted, “And Bronny’s contract just became guaranteed…waited until his son got paid and dipped.”

Other fans gave their opinions on where they think LeBron will go next, with comments including, “I assume it’s gotta be the Warriors. Should be interesting” and, “Welcome to Sacramento, my king.”

And then, as if you didn’t see this coming, the retirement comments poured in. When one fan posted, “LeBron and Curry retirement tour going to be absolutely lit,” others mused, “Maybe they can get the Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney to play the national anthem at every game,” and, “Honestly, both of them deserve a retirement tour. It’ll be crazy if it’s the same season. They ought to take turns, though. Bron then Steph.”

15 1980s Toys That Would Be Considered Way Too Dangerous Today

Tue, 06/30/2026 - 1:37pm

Toys are arguably one of the most important parts of childhood. Think about it: Playing with your favorite ones as a kid teaches you motor and cognitive skills, all while reinforcing social skills when you're playing with friends. As part of our Parade Rewind series, we've been exploring the role toys have played in children's lives throughout the 20th century. Last month, we shared some of the popular 1970s toys that you wouldn't find on store shelves nowadays. This month, we're breaking down the 1980s toys that would be considered way too dangerous today.

It's important to note that no toy company sets out to create a dangerous toy. However, recalls are bound to happen over time, especially if a brand doesn't perform extensive testing before a product is sold in stores. For instance, some manufacturers only start to realize that a toy is unsafe after it's already hit the market.

Many toy recalls are issued out of an abundance of caution and simply require consumers to use their best judgment. But sometimes, playthings are deemed to pose a serious danger after kids properly put them through their paces.

Similar to the 1970s, the 1980s featured several toys that would be questionable by today's standards. Some of them even carried over from the previous decade. Read on to find out if you owned any.

What Toys Were the Most Popular in the 1980s?

Bob Friedland, a toy expert who has experience running public relations for both Toys"R"Us and FAO Schwarz, describes the 1980s as a "fun time for toys."

"The Federal Trade Commission's relaxed rules on toy advertising allowed for the rise of cartoons and comics that were, ostensibly, long-form toy commercials," he tells Parade. "That meant that beyond traditional toys, brands with evolving storylines that engaged kids became a huge part of toy stores."

The boy's action figure aisle, in particular, "saw a shift" in the '80s, he says.

"After the success of Star Wars' 3 3/4-inch scale figures in the late '70s, other toy companies moved to create lines in that scale to capitalize on the play pattern," he states.

Oceanna Colgan, a nostalgia-focused content creator and video producer, says action figures tied to cartoons (He-Man, Transformers, G.I. Joe and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) were huge in the '80s, as were Cabbage Patch Kids, Care Bears and My Little Pony.

"Teddy Ruxpin, the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and Game Boy showed a rise in technology in toys," she adds.

Friedland notes that "classic toys" like Lincoln Logs, Little People and Barbie were also "thriving" in the '80s.

15 1980s Toys That Would Be Considered Way Too Dangerous Today1. Pot Belly stuffed animals

eBay

Kayleigh Davies, an antiques and collectibles specialist at Auctionet, has specialized in toys for 15 years. She says Pot Belly toys looked like "ordinary stuffed animals" but notes that over five million of them were recalled in 1980.

"A large number of the toys were found to have sharp wires inside, and some others contained crushed walnut shells that were a choking hazard," she states.

2. Rocket-firing Boba Fett action figure prototype

Ian Forsyth/Getty Images

"This is a toy that was never actually released, but I meet many people who claim to remember playing with it," Davies shares. "Rocket-firing Boba Fett was advertised heavily on Star Wars toy packaging before his release, but the missiles were a choking hazard and the final version had them fixed in place so they could not be fired. It was disappointing for the children who were eagerly anticipating the figure, but much safer."

A prototype of this Boba Fett action figure recently sold at Goldin Auctions for $1,342,000 and set a record for the highest price ever paid for a toy, action figure and non-prop Star Wars item.

3. Clackers

Keystone/Hulton Archive/Getty Images

Also popular in the 1970s, this toy is best described as "two acrylic balls on a string that could occasionally explode near your face," Colgan shares.

"Clackers, also known as Ka-bangers, were two acrylic balls that were attached by a string with a ring in the middle," Friedland also explains. "There wasn’t really a game involved. You were just supposed to move your hand really fast and get the balls to smack together for as long as possible."

Unfortunately, the balls could shatter and "send shards at kids," or the string could break, "causing a hard plastic ball to fly into someone," he states.

4. Lawn darts (Jarts)

Colgan describes this next toy as being similar to horseshoes, but only if "the horseshoes were giant metal spikes."

"Lawn Darts were giant pointy metal darts that were designed to [be thrown] through the air at a target on the ground. The problem is that it could accidentally impale anything in its path," Friedland explains. "A lot of people played with them and never had an injury, which is why people are still looking for them today. But, after a few deaths, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission permanently banned them in 1988."

5. Soft Shot Star Launcher

Davies describes the Soft Shot Star Launcher as a "budget blow gun toy made of a long plastic tube and a mouthpiece."

"The mouthpiece could become detached, leading it to become lodged in the throat. The manufacturers voluntarily recalled the toys after three children choked on them," she says.

6. Battlestar Galactica Colonial Viper

eBay

Davies says the Battlestar Galactica Colonial Viper helped inspire the updated design of the aforementioned Boba Fett toy.

"Released in 1978, the Battlestar Galactica Colonial Viper featured a missile that was a choking hazard," she says. "The toy was recalled in 1979 after a four-year-old child sadly died."

She shares that a "free Hot Wheels car" was "offered in exchange for the missiles being sent back." But you can imagine that many didn't want to turn these back in.

"People were reluctant to take up the offer, so many of these items remained in toy boxes well into the 1980s and beyond," she states.

7. Voltron Lion die-cast figurines

eBay

If you watched Voltron: Defender of the Universe on TV in the '80s, you likely coveted the mini figurines that were inspired by the show.

"However, some of the toys, like the Deluxe Voltron Lion, were found to have dangerous amounts of lead paint, which meant they were recalled," Davies shares.

8. Creative Playthings Indoor Gym Houses

These toddler playsets date back to the 1960s, per Davies, but were recalled in the 1980s when it became clear that the "design was potentially lethal."

"Sets included a ladder up to a platform, and the gap between the two was the right size for a curious child's head to get stuck between, creating a dangerous strangulation hazard," she says.

9. Sling 'Em-Fling 'Em Wrestling Ring

eBay

This wrestling ring toy was a square ring with four plastic posts at the corners.

"Produced between 1985 and 1989, the Wrestling Rings were eventually recalled in 1991 due to the corner posts impaling some children," Colgan says.

Per Davies, four children fell on the plastic posts and suffered "severe internal injuries."

10. Cap guns

Victor Colin Sumner/Fairfax Media via Getty Images

Friedland says these small metal guns resembled "movie cowboy six shooters or other small firearms."

"They were designed to allow kids to insert a roll of caps, which were rolls that had a small explosive in them," he shares. "When you pulled the trigger, the hammer would hit the cap and make a small explosive sound."

The toy had many issues, including the potential of burning yourself if you "hit the caps with a rock," Friedland explains.

"But the bigger issue was that police could mistake them for actual weapons," he adds.

11. Creepy Crawlers Thingmaker

eBay

Friedland says this toy set allowed children to make "rubber bugs, snakes and other creepy crawlies by pouring a goop into metal molds and cooking them." It's also not the first time it's on one of our "dangerous toys from yesteryear" lists.

"The issue was that the hot plate you cooked the tray on reached 300 degrees, meaning it was easy to get burned by accidentally touching the hot plate or when removing the Creepy Crawlers from the tray. I had one and was lucky that I never got burned," he shares.

12. Little People

RobMattingley/Getty Images

Fisher-Price's Little People toy line gradually rose in popularity after its debut in the 1950s. In 1991, the toy brand redesigned the line because of a dangerous element still around in the 1980s version of the toy, Friedland tells Parade.

"They changed them from plastic cylinders with heads to a more chunky, exaggerated human form that exists now," he explains. "The original design was the size of a child’s throat and was too easy to choke on."

13. Power Wheels

eBay

What kid doesn't love a battery-powered, ride-on vehicle? Colgan says many children owned a Power Wheels car during the decade. The only problem? Many of them were eventually discovered to be dangerous.

"There was a massive recall in the '90s that included models made in the 1980s. The recall addressed electrical components and connectors that could cause fires," she says.

14. Slap bracelet

Yvonne Hemsey/Getty Images

"Slap bracelets were invented in 1983 by a teacher, and they would become the bane of teachers everywhere," Davies says.

At the time, the bracelets were made with "flexible steel ribbons" inside, similar to the ones you find in a measuring tape.

"It could become exposed and present a laceration risk," she explains. "They were also just generally annoying in the classroom."

15. Skip-It

eBay

Davies says this electronic skipping toy got an upgrade in the form of a digital counter in the '80s.

"It added a whole new competitive element to skipping. It was responsible for more than a few bruises, sprains and falls, which meant some parents felt inclined to hide it away," she says.

Chobani’s Fall-Favorite Creamer Is Officially Coming Back—and Soon

Tue, 06/30/2026 - 1:36pm

As Chobani's list of coffee creamer flavors continues to grow, there's one seasonal offer fans enjoy so much that the company has not only brought it back year after year but also appears to have shortened the wait between each return:pumpkin spice.

And this year, it looks to be bringing the beloved fall favorite back earlier than ever before (even if only by a few days).

On Tuesday, a rep for the brand revealed that its pumpkin spice-inspired lineup (including the popular coffee creamer flavor) would return to stores nationwide this July in time for "Summerween."

Chobani's Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer Is Hitting Shelves Very Soon

Chobani's Pumpkin Spice creamer is made with real cream, milk, cane sugar, and natural flavors for what the company describes as a "warm, pumpkin-spiced note."

Last year, fans spotted the limited-edition flavor on shelves after July Fourth and found the timing a little divisive, as we initially reported that social media users didn't know whether to be ecstatic or lament the premature push of next season's exclusives.

While there are no viral fan reactions to its return as of writing, it appears that it may be just as controversial this year. Many Instagram users have debated the timing of the release of similar pumpkin spice-flavored products in the comments on recent posts, and again, there's a huge divide between elation and calls for companies to wait until late summer or early fall.

Chobani Pumpkin Spice creamer returns this July.

That said, there's a simple solution: those who want to wait until it feels more like fall to enjoy its seasonal delights will, and those who don't will have plenty of time to stock up.

Should you fit into the latter group, you'll likely be happy to hear that Chobani's Pumpkin Harvest Crisp will also be on shelves for the season beginning this July. It features oatmeal pastry pieces, creamy frosting chunks, and cinnamon frosted cookies in Chobani Pumpkin Greek Yogurt.

Chobani Flip Pumpkin Harvest Crisp also makes a seasonal comeback for 2026. Where Will the Fall-Exclusive Flavors Be Available?

Chobani's Pumpkin Spice coffee creamer will be available in 24 and larger "value size" 52-ounce cartons at retailers nationwide (prices may vary) that typically stock its permanent lineup of creamers, according to an email shared with Parade.

Its Flip yogurt cups can be purchased individually or in a four-pack at grocery stores and other major retailers nationwide.

2002 Hit Film Was Just Ranked the 'Greatest Medieval Fantasy Movie of the Last 25 Years'

Tue, 06/30/2026 - 1:25pm

Some of the most beloved fantasy films borrow elements of medieval lore. For instance, Collider recently spotlighted a few popular fantasy movies molded from medieval folk tales by releasing a list of "the 10 greatest medieval fantasy movies of the last 25 years."

The ranking included hit fantasy films like A Knight's Tale, released in 2001, The Northman from 2022, and 2021's The Green Knight. The publication put the 2002 film The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, based on J. R. R. Tolkien's 1954 novel The Two Towers, at the top of the list.

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, which is the second film in theLord of the Rings franchise, has a score of 95 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.

Viggo Mortensen Noted That the 'Lord of the Rings' Books Have Aspects of Different Mythologies

In a 2002 interview with Charlie Rose, alongside the film's director, Peter Jackson, and his co-star Elijah Wood,Viggo Mortensen, who played Aragorn in the trilogy, noted that the Lord of the Rings books and films are inspired by different mythologies. He explained that while he hadn't read Tolkien's books before being cast as Aragorn, he already understood aspects of the text.

"It wasn't such a foreign thing to me after all, that a lot of there were elements that were familiar to me. I mean, the sources for Tolkien's writing were not all unfamiliar, you know, a lot of it is based on Nordic mythology, Celtic mythology sagas, fairy tales. I mean, there's such a gold mine of information in there," said the actor, now 67.

He also said that he "could relate" the characters and storylines in Lord of the Rings "to Western movie archetypes," as well as "Samurai movies."

Peter Jackson Explained that 'The Two Towers' Isn't a Traditional Sequel Film

During the 2002 Charlie Rose interview, Jackson explained he didn't consider The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers a sequel film in a traditional sense.

"We're not in a situation where The Fellowship of the Ring came out last year, and it made a lot of money, and everyone said, 'Oh good, let's make a second one of these.' And we kind of figured out what the magic formula was. And we kind of rushed off and made another one," said Jackson during the 2002 interview.

The filmmaker explained that the three films, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, "was shot as a trilogy."

"There was 9 hours of movie, all shot at the same time, basically," continued Jackson.

‘I’m a Cardiologist, and This Is the One Supplement I Actually Take for Heart Health’

Tue, 06/30/2026 - 1:25pm

You may still hear your parents or grandparents in your head telling you to "take your vitamins." It turns out, it was good advice then—and it is now. Vitamins play a vital role in heart health, and you may need to supplement if you don't get enough of something.

"Vitamins can be water-soluble—hydrophilic—and fat-soluble—lipophilic, and they affect several pathways that affect our normal cell function," Dr. Christina S. Reuss, MD, HonorHealth cardiologist and physician director for the HonorHealth Heart Care’s Women’s Heart Health Program, tells Parade. "Importantly, when there is a lack of vitamins, the problems in the cardiovascular system are subtle at first and then become a problem over time."

For instance, lipophilic vitamins (A, D and E) and hydrophilic vitamins (B1, B2, B5, B6, B12 and C) play a role in hardening the arteries (a risk for high cholesterol), blood pressure, heart rhythm and heart strength. When we don't get enough of certain vitamins, we're at risk for high cholesterol, hypertension, irregular heart rhythm and heart failure.

"Additionally, vitamins help control some of the stress that happens on a day-to-day basis caused by aging cells or cell damage from oxidation, a complicated process where inflammation results in free radical formation," Dr. Reuss says.

Doctors often recommend a food-first approach to diet, and Dr. Reuss does, too. But the American diet is also...complicated. She points out that many of us don't get enough fruits and vegetables daily, for instance.

"It should be no surprise that obesity, diabetes and heart disease seem to be unavoidable," she explains. "In fact, most complications and deaths from heart disease and type 2 diabetes can be traced to not taking in enough proper 'micronutrients.'"

Dr. Reuss knows that good nutrition is a building block for heart health, which is why she's revealing the one supplement she takes.

'I'm a Cardiologist, and This Is the One Supplement I Actually Take for Heart Health'

"For heart health, I am a believer in the addition of Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs)," Dr. Reuss says.

She has long been a follower of the Mediterranean diet. This eating pattern prioritizes fruits, vegetables, plant-based and lean protein (like chicken and beans) and healthy fats (like walnuts and salmon). Research consistently shows the Mediterranean diet can lower your risk for heart disease, so it's no wonder Dr. Reuss still follows it. However, she initially ate fish as part of that diet but began eating a more vegetarian diet in 2024.

"Sadly, I found it harder to find sustainably sourced fish that was nutrient-dense and turned to plant sources of protein," she shares. "Omega-3s are still important, and that is why I supplement."

Indeed, people who consumed omega-3 fatty acids were less likely to experience cardiovascular complications (including death) in a 2021 study.

"There are three types of omega-3s: ALA, EPA and DHA—they only differ by the number of carbon atoms," she explains. "These are a key component to a heart-healthy diet."

Fatty fish is a great source of omega-3s, which is why the American Heart Association suggests that most people eat at least two servings of seafood, such as salmon, weekly. If that's not possible, it's reasonable to supplement, Dr. Reuss says. Over-the-counter supplements usually contain all three types of omega-3s in a single pill or gummy. Still, she doesn't turn to supplements ASAP and daily, either.

"Just because we think we need a vitamin or a nutrient doesn’t mean we should necessarily take it," she notes. "However, I use the approach to add a supplement for the food items I did not get enough of in 24 hours. My philosophy has always been to use vegetables, fruits, nuts and legumes, such as beans, lentils and soybeans, to find the most nutrition."

Related: Dietitians Are Begging People to Stop Pairing This Common Supplement With Magnesium

The Importance of a Food-First Approach

A food-first approach is still preferable, Dr. Reuss emphasizes. "Because it is still better to eat Omega-3s in food, the primary food source would be fish," she says.

Salmon has the highest EPA content per serving. Other great sources of omega-3s are:

Some people should avoid omega-3s, such as those with shellfish or iodine allergies. Dr. Reuss says they may benefit from supplements made from algae or vegan Omega-3, but it's best to speak with your doctor first. She adds that people who are pregnant, thinking of getting pregnant or on a blood thinner should also talk to their healthcare team.

A holistic approach to diet is still best for heart health. No single nutrient or supplement will protect you from cardiovascular disease. She says that the largest portion of your plate should consist of vegetables. Then, you'll want to add a healthy protein, such as:

  • Skinless poultry
  • Plant-based protein (like chickpeas)
  • Fish/seafood
  • Low-fat dairy

Dr. Reuss suggests opting for whole-grain carbohydrates and a small portion of fiber-rich fruit, like kiwis or apples.

Lastly, extra virgin olive oil, avocado oil and canola oil should replace butter, palm oil and other high-fat and trans-fat oils, she advises.

How To Choose a Supplement for Heart Health

It's easy to purchase a supplement, but Dr. Reuss says it's important to have a better idea of what you're taking and how to take it. Here's how she shops for supplements.

1. She always looks at third-party testing

Dr. Reuss calls this one a "must" because of the gap in FDA oversight on supplements. "You want to know what you are buying is safe and is what is supposed to be in the bottle," she says. "Manufacturers are not legally required to prove a health claim, but third-party testing organizations test the purity and quality as an independent verification of the safety of nutritional supplements. Look for a product that has been tested and paid for the label."

Common third-party testing programs include:

2. She buys one month at a time

It's natural to want to buy a supplement in bulk to prevent gaps in use. But Dr. Reuss doesn't recommend it.

"You might find there is a side effect, such as loose stools or belching [with] a fishy taste, and you need to change the way you are taking this," she notes. "Maybe you take it with food, early in the day."

3. She looks for a formulation that's sustainable over time

Don't like to swallow large pills?

"Find small ones and take them throughout the day," Dr. Reuss says. "If you prefer chewable gummies, these exist or even emulsions with lemon or orange flavor that make your supplement a joy to take. Either way, this should not be a chore. It is to add something of value to your life."

Uber's New Tokyo Experience Lets You Ride Shotgun in Iconic Japanese Drift Cars

Tue, 06/30/2026 - 1:21pm

Uber is taking ride-sharing in an entirely new direction: sideways.

The company has just launched Uber Drift, a limited-time experience in Tokyo that lets travelers book a professional drifting adventure directly through the Uber app. Instead of requesting a ride across town, guests are picked up in an Uber Black vehicle and taken to a legendary racetrack where professional drivers slide iconic Japanese sports cars through high-speed corners.

It's the latest installment in Uber's "Go Anywhere" series of travel experiences, which has previously included everything from hot-air balloon rides in Turkey to safari adventures in South Africa. Rather than simply getting travelers from Point A to Point B, the company has increasingly rolled out destination-specific experiences designed around local culture. And this may be the company's most adrenaline-fueled offering yet.

"Passport. Packed. Uber Drift!" the company wrote on Instagram, showing a video of the experience. "Get ready for the most adrenaline-fueled day of your life! Introducing Uber Drift, your ultimate Tokyo itinerary upgrade just a tap away. Discover Japan's globally celebrated automotive subculture with a high-speed drift experience on a professional circuit, all in partnership with professional Drift drivers. Time to live the movie!"

View this post on Instagram How much does Uber Drift cost?

Uber Drift costs ¥30,000 (about $200 USD) per booking for groups of one to four people, making it surprisingly affordable if the cost is split among friends. Reservations opened on May 27, while the experience itself runs from June 3 through July 1, 2026. Availability is extremely limited, with just four group bookings offered each day.

The half-day package includes round-trip transportation from your Tokyo hotel in an Uber Black vehicle, approximately 90 minutes at the famous Mobara Twin Circuit in Chiba Prefecture, safety equipment, and the chance to ride shotgun while Formula Drift-licensed professionals perform tandem drifts in legendary Japanese sports cars, including the Nissan Silvia S15 and Nissan 180SX. Drivers can reach speeds of around 100 km/h while demonstrating precision-drifting techniques on the technical circuit.

Why did Uber choose Japan?

Few countries are as synonymous with drifting as Japan. The motorsport traces its roots to Japanese mountain roads and racing circuits before exploding into global popularity through motorsports, video games, and films like The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. Cars such as the Silvia S15 and 180SX have become icons among enthusiasts, making Japan the obvious choice for Uber's drifting experience in the Asia-Pacific region.

For many visitors, experiencing authentic Japanese drift culture has traditionally been difficult. Events are often held outside central Tokyo, and language barriers can make booking challenging. Uber says the goal is to make one of Japan's most famous automotive subcultures more accessible to international travelers through a seamless, app-based booking experience.

Whether you're a lifelong car enthusiast or simply looking for a good story to tell, Uber Drift offers something few tourists ever experience: the chance to sit inches from another speeding drift car while professional drivers execute perfectly synchronized slides on one of Japan's most respected circuits.

Fans Say Logan's Roadhouse's Unexpected New Menu Item 'Low Key Sounds Yum'—and You Won't Believe What It Is

Tue, 06/30/2026 - 1:12pm

Does anybody else feel like restaurants these days are coming out with new menu items made specifically for the LOLz? Not to discredit the massive amount of recipe testing and development that goes into choosing which dishes get the green light to eventually grace customers' tables, but we seem to have taken a very sharp turn somewhere between Dubai Chocolate pancakes and Rocket Pop-flavored baked beans.

To some, this decidedly wacky moment in food can best be described as the "LOLfood" era, where instead of doomscrolling on our phones, we nosh on supremely absurd (and surprisingly delicious) renditions of the classics.

😋😋SIGN UP to get delicious recipes, handy kitchen hacks & more in our daily Pop Kitchen newsletter🍳🍔

The goal seems to be to deliver dishes that don't require much thought and instead hit us with a massive dose of nostalgia, no matter how ridiculous. And if you haven't gotten enough yet, the latest addition to the growing catalog of laugh-out-loud cuisine comes to us in the form of the humble burger done in truly preposterous, over-the-top fashion. Introducing Logan's Roadhouse's new Uncrustables Burger.

No, you're not imagining that string of words—Logan's Roadhouse is actually adding a burger with Uncrustables as the bun to its menu for a limited time. Billed as the burger nobody saw coming, the zany new menu addition features a seven-ounce burger patty, melted cheddar cheese, garlic pickle aioli and two beer-battered, fried grape Uncrustables serving as the buns for just $14.99.

Completely unhinged? Absolutely. Just bizarre enough to be delicious? Definitely.

And although it might seem like a totally random menu addition, when you set it against the backdrop of America's 250th birthday, it actually makes a lot of sense. It's almost one of the most American expressions of a burger we've ever seen. The only thing missing is half a pack of bacon.

Despite how outrageous it sounds, fans seem to actually be into it. "Woah lol low key sounds yum," said one intrigued fan. "Need to try this asap," someone else agreed. It looks like this burger might not be one to laugh about after all.

As if an Uncrustables Burger wasn't kooky enough, the two powerhouse brands also teamed up to create a new Fried Uncrustables Dessert, featuring a beer-battered and fried Uncrustables sandwich with melted marshmallows, vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce and caramel. Now that's a sweet treat we'd be down to sink our teeth into.

Whether you're all in on this nostalgia-inducing mashup or you're just in it for the LOLz, it's worth it to add a stop by Logan's Roadhouse to your summer road trip itinerary. Just make sure you grab a batch of hot-and-ready rolls for the road.

1974 Rock Classic, Famously Resurged 44 Years Later, Became a Breakthrough Radio Anthem

Tue, 06/30/2026 - 12:59pm

Fifty-two years ago, legendary '70s rock band Queen released "Killer Queen"—a breakthrough hit that experienced a massive second wave of popularity following the release of their blockbuster biopic.

Released on October 11, 1974 as the lead single from their third studio album, Sheer Heart Attack, "Killer Queen" became an instant hit. Upon its arrival, radio disc jockeys took a liking to the song and spun it religiously, building a massive listener demand. By November, the track had peaked at No. 2 on the U.K. Singles Chart, and by early 1975, it reached No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking the band's first true international breakthrough.

Not only did "Killer Queen" experience major chart success, but it achieved significant commercial triumph as well. The track has been certified 4x Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for selling over 4 million copies in the U.S. alone. In total, the song is estimated to have sold over 6 million units worldwide.

Written by frontman Freddie Mercury and produced by renowned record producer Roy Thomas Baker, "Killer Queen" was notable for pioneering Queen's signature theatrical sound. The track utilizes layered vocal harmonies, intricate guitar solos and ragtime-style piano to create a unique sonic appeal that made it stand out within the progressive rock genre. Paired with the track's campy lyrical imagery about a high-class call girl, its sound and themes defined the future of Queen's identity.

The 2018 Resurgence

Forty-four years after its initial release, "Killer Queen" experienced a major mainstream resurgence. Following the premiere of Queen's 2018 blockbuster biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody, the band saw a massive uptick in discography sales and streams.

In total, Bohemian Rhapsody grossed $911 million worldwide at the box office, becoming the highest-grossing musical biopic until it was overtaken by the recent Michael Jackson movie, Michael.

Following the film's release, sales of Queen's catalog increased by 483% while streaming numbers spiked by 41%. The worldwide attention the band's story received reignited public fascination with their discography, pushing several major songs back onto the Billboard charts. "Killer Queen," which was featured near the beginning of the film, notably re-entered the Billboard Hot Rock Songs chart, peaking within the top 25.

Today, "Killer Queen" remains a definitive fan favorite among Queen supporters. The track continues to thrive on both rock radio stations and modern streaming platforms, racking up 1.1 billion streams on Spotify alone—attesting to its lasting ability to appeal to wide-ranging audiences.

The White House’s Latest Post Leaves Americans Feeling ‘Embarrassed’: ‘Is This Rage Bait?’

Tue, 06/30/2026 - 12:56pm

The White House appears not to be short of TikTok ideas, with its latest post sparking backlash and comments over what the video deems to be American culture.

The latest TikTok video from the White House comes amid an influx of international tourists visiting the U.S. for the FIFA World Cup. Social media has been flooded with viral clips of visitors trying American cuisine and popular chain stores, while the TikTok video highlights examples of "culture" that many users are disputing.

The video is captioned with "And they say America has no culture," alongside a black-and-white photo of President Donald Trump, before showcasing a series of photos. The carousel of photos includes Buc-ee's, Walmart, Texas Roadhouse, BBQ, NASCAR, pancakes, a comical photo of a large Big Gulp, Bass Pro Shops, national monuments, NYC, and even a photo of air conditioning.

In comments, many have spoken out against the examples being used and call it "embarrassing." One user even commented, "Did y'all deadass put air conditioning," while another added, "Corporations aren’t culture."

The inclusion of the air conditioner might be in relation to the current extreme heat wave taking over parts of Europe, which has led to several deaths in France. It has resulted in an influx of air conditioner sales or the item being fully out of stock, and a majority of Europe's infrastructure is not built for extreme heat.

Another user chimed in, saying that stores like Walmart aren't considered culture, and neither is fast food. The White House's TikTok video has only led to confusion and stunned responses.

"As a european I'm confused, is this video supposed to be serious or is it a joke?" said one user.

Other users added, "I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not," and "This is a joke right?" One user even commented on whether the video is meant as "ragebait."

Users are commenting on the point that American corporations are not the same as a country's culture, with one saying, "Culture and consumerism are two different things." Multiple users even pointed out that the Statue of Liberty on Ellis Island was a gift from the French, and the things depicted in the video are "nothing to be proud of here."

Dean Cain Doubles Down After Fans Roast His Trump State Fair Photo: 'People Decided to Hate'

Dean Cain is defending his controversial post about President Donald Trump’s “Great American State Fair” after the actor faced backlash online over a photo critics claimed showed a lack of crowds.

The former Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman star shared a photo from atop the Ferris wheel overlooking the National Mall, saying it showed the “view” from the event and insisting there were “thousands of people” despite criticism over sparse-looking images from the fair.

The post quickly became a battleground, with social media users mocking Cain’s defense and arguing the image told a different story. Cain pushed back, accusing critics of focusing on negativity rather than the meaning behind the photo.

"I think that making a deal out of it is stupid in its own right," Cain recently told TMZ in a video shared on X. "I mean, it's going to get more and more crowded as time goes on. We're day five now. I took it because it's one of the most incredible photos I've ever seen. A scene of our nation's National Mall, of the Washington Monument, of the Capitol. I think it's just incredible."

He continued, "So I took that picture and said, look at how gorgeous this is and then everyone was like, oh, there's nobody there. There's tons of people around here and it's going to get more and more crowded, but that's divisive. I was trying to be, you know, unifying towards people and look how great this is in our nation's capital. And then people decided to hate."

When asked if people wanted the fair to fail, Cain added, "I think there's a lot of people who do want nobody here so they can own Trump, but I think that's ridiculous. They should be celebrating America and coming together for it."

The actor’s back-and-forth with critics began after former GOP Congressman Adam Daniel Kinzinger commented on Cain’s Ferris wheel photo, writing, "Hahahaha dude this is not the picture to show," adding, "All 6 people."

Cain quickly shot back, "There were thousands of people there and all around DC today, Adam. Why do you wish it was empty? That seems odd..."

When Congresswoman Melanie Stansbury shared an image she said showed an empty section of the event, Cain responded that "it was raining."

Cain said he would miss the fireworks display because he had to leave to film a movie, but added, "I'll be able to watch [fireworks] from my rooftop deck, and looking at it over in Vegas won't be the same, but I'll watch it on TV."
