Savannah Guthrie's Mom Nancy Update: FBI Now Investigating Multiple Ransom Notes

Wed, 02/04/2026 - 7:41am

Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie's mom, Nancy Guthrie, remains missing after she was abducted from her Tucson, Arizona, home—and now, the FBI is investigating at least three unsubstantiated ransom notes.

As of Wednesday, Feb. 4, at least three media outlets reported that they received ransom notes this week demanding millions in bitcoin for Nancy's return. They include TMZ as well as CNN Tucson affiliates KGUN and KOLD, CNN reported.

Today also offered the latest updates on the missing case of Nancy, 84. Savannah's mother was last seen on the evening of Jan. 31 and was reported missing by her family on Feb. 1.

Sheinelle Jones filled in once again for Savannah amid her Today absence, and she reported on "two reports of ransom notes sent to news organizations." Jones added, "The Pima County Sheriff's Department (PCSD) says it is aware of those reports. But so far the notes have not been substantiated by any law enforcement agency."

Additionally, the PCSD said in a statement, "We are taking all tips and leads very seriously."

Prima County Sheriff Chris Nanos told NBC correspondent Liz Kreutz, "The leads we've got coming are critical to us. They are valuable. And we're sharing those with the FBI and others."

Nanos added, "We have nothing else to go on but the belief that she is here. She's present. She's alive. And we want to save her."

On Feb. 1, the PCSD launched a search for Nancy, describing her as a “vulnerable adult” who was last seen at her home on the evening of Saturday, Jan. 31. The PCSD declared her Tucson home a crime scene on Feb. 2—revealing later that day that Nancy was “taken” from her residence “against her will,” in the middle of the night.

By Feb. 3, law enforcement sources revealed that blood and signs of forced entry were both discovered at Nancy’s home. DNA testing of evidence from the crime scene, however, could still take several more days.

Nancy remains missing, as of writing.

Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir Talk 'Traitors', the Winter Olympics and Nancy vs. Tonya (Exclusive)

Wed, 02/04/2026 - 7:30am

This must be stressed up front: Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir are passionate about their fashion. Every time they’re on TV—whether it’s the World Figure Skating Championships, the Kentucky Derby or the Summer Olympics closing ceremony—they bring a dazzling visual spectacle to their commentary. Heck, they even initially bonded in the NBC Studios over their matching Celine bags.

But for their exclusive Parade cover story interview, they Zoom in together wearing . . . nondescript black sweaters?!

“We are entertainers at times,” Lipinski says. “But the Johnny I know is—you know—on a bed having room service and he’s in sweats and a baseball cap.” Weir chimes in, “I mean, I’m sitting on a luggage rack right now with a pillow. This is us.”

Indeed, it’s no surprise to see the pair keeping it real and beaming in each other’s presence. Sitting shoulder-to-shoulder in early January in a St. Louis hotel room (where they’re broadcasting the 2026 U.S. Figure Skating Championships), Lipinski and Weir are former star solo skaters who have become an enthusiastic and knowledgeable duo—both onscreen and off.

“From the moment we reconnected, it just felt so easy,” Lipinski says. “It was such a relief that I finally had a teammate and someone I could trust.” Weir agrees. “I never knew I could have a partner that I could live alongside and share all these experiences with," he adds. "It makes it so much more special to look over and know that we’re living out our dreams together.”

The Brutal Reality Behind Olympic Gold Medal with Johnny Weir & Tara Lipinski (4:39)

Lipinski, 43, and Weir, 41, have traded the commentary booth for the castle—appearing not as co-hosts, but as competitors in Season 4 of the Emmy-winning reality series The Traitors (now streaming on Peacock). Playing alongside the likes of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna and former BachelorColton Underwood, the two decided early on to not advertise their closeness. “Alliances in the past have never really lasted a long time,” Lipinski explains.

And starting February 6, the two will once again be commentating on all things figure skating at the Winter Olympics in Italy—airing on NBC and streaming on Peacock. Weir notes that the Americans are bringing in multiple reigning world champions, while Lipinski adds, “It’s going to be really exciting for the viewers.”

Back in the day, they both brought tremendous excitement to the sport’s biggest stage. At just 15 years old, Lipinski shocked the world by winning the gold medal at the 1998 Games, while Weir is a two-time Olympian who delivered dramatic performances at the Games in 2006 (he placed fifth) and 2010 (he placed sixth). Eventually, they traded their skates for headsets and worked as individual commentators before reconnecting at NBC and teaming up for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. “We asked NBC if we could audition together,” says Lipinski. They’ve been attached ever since.

They don’t spend all their time together, of course. In fact, the two live on opposite sides of the country: Lipinski is based in Los Angeles with her husband of eight years, director/producer Todd Kapostasy, and their 2-year-old daughter, Georgie; Weir resides just outside Philadelphia. Still, they’re both Pennsylvania natives, and Weir proudly adds that he and his best friend “love the Eagles!”

Before grabbing the mics, Lipinski and Weir broke the ice with Parade.

NBC Sports

Parade: We’re talking a month before the Games. Have you started planning your wardrobe?

Johnny Weir: Well, we're both such huge fans of fashion, I don't think we ever really stop shopping and looking at things and seeing how they might fit into our future. And for us, the clothes and the hair are just such a fun way of performing. That's what we've grown up doing as athletes, as show people, and the clothes and the hair accentuate the story that we want to tell. And it's the Olympics—we have to dress up.

So the answer is no?

Weir: We constantly think about it. But the funniest thing is, we don't even purposely try to match. We show up with almost everything in our wardrobes, and we throw it together there. It's more fun when it's more spontaneous.

In non-fashion news, can you share which skaters will be must-see?

Tara Lipinski: Multiple gold medals are on the line for the Americans. You have ice dancers Madison Chock and Evan Bates, and they're the favorites. And Ilia Malinin is definitely the favorite for the men’s event. If you're going to tune into one event and one four-minute program, let it be Ilia, just because what he does on the ice is mind-blowing.

Your sport can be infamously cut-throat. How did you establish such a genuine friendship

Weir: Many people will bond over their elementary school or what happened in college. Most skaters don't have those normal touchstones to rely on. We have skating and the good, the bad and the ugly of trying to be the best in such a competitive sport. It’s really hard coming up—especially when we did without social media that gives you easy access. And it's rare to find somebody that you just trust immediately. At this point, we're a decade in, and we've gone through a lot in front of the world. But we’re also there for each other in our private lives and are there for each other constantly.

Lipinski: As cheesy as this sounds, it really feels like our friendship was meant to be.

People may not realize that you two never skated at the same time. Johnny, what do you remember about watching Tara win that gold medal?

Weir: I'd only started skating two years before she won the Olympics, and I remember curling up with my family and just marveling at this 15-year-old woman completely capturing the entire world and bottling all of that into this very singular moment. She inspired millions of people.

Lipinski: It definitely still feels surreal. Sometimes I wake up now, and I'm like, “Wow, that happened.” I started skating when I was three, and I dedicated and sacrificed so much to become an Olympian and win the gold. But my whole life revolved around skating—that’s all there was for me in that moment. I didn't have a lot of other life experience. So there was a bit of that do-or-die mentality of I got to do this. I've got to win. This is my dream.

Where is the gold medal now?

Lipinski: I've never kept it! It’s been at the U.S. Figure Skating Hall of Fame and other events. It’s on its own journey. But every once in a while, I cross paths with it. One of these days, I'll find a proper safe place to display it. The medal is very meaningful, but it's a material thing—whereas the entire moment and memory stays with me.

Do you miss getting on the ice and skating?

Lipinski: It's enough for me to be happy being in the booth. I mean, I loved being on the ice. And there are moments where you want to be back out there and feel the wind in your hair and standing in front of a sold-out crowd ... but not for all that you have to put into it and the nerves and anxiety that go along with it.

Weir: When I met Tara, it was right after my Olympic career ended. I was having a very nice, successful career touring the world and skating to sold-out crowds. I remember her telling me, “When you know it's over, it's over.” And there was one night—I was practicing all by myself at 1 a.m.—and I fell on a very simple move. I was like, “You know what, girl, it's time, time to hang it up.” It's a very difficult sport, and it does favor youth over being a “Skateosaurus.” I chose to leave the sport and performing when it was on my terms. But the memories are enough to sustain me.

But few skaters go on to a successful commentating career. Is the secret key that you have to be a little bitchy and say what everyone on the couch is thinking?

Weir: No, no. We took our sport very seriously as athletes, and we take it very seriously as commentators. We want to help people understand our world and what they're watching, and to hopefully inspire them. We sleep very little because we're up so late studying every single skater. Our voices help people understand who these people are. Definitely being a little bit sassy and being a little bit fun is who we are, and that's part of being a performer. You also have to be prepared.

The pair is pictured at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in South Korea.

Lipinski: We do all the notes, we do all the research. We love live television and the spontaneous moments of not knowing what we're going to say and not knowing how we're going to react. I think that makes us real and authentic.

Weir: We want you to feel like you're sitting on the couch with us because we both grew up pretty humbly, and we both grew up without a normal education, and we always joke we weren't socialized properly. So we don't put on airs. Everything that we've earned in this life, we've earned through hard work and dedication. We don't have to fake it.

You had to fake it a little bit on The Traitors! In retrospect, was it a good strategy to not form an open alliance?

Weir: We can't tell you if it proved to be a good strategy or not! But we were fans of the show, and in watching old seasons, we noticed that one of the things that could have hindered us was a very clear alliance. The other contestants weren’t necessarily in our demographic, so we didn’t know if they knew who we were and how close we were. So we played it cool.

Lipinski: The plan was to keep our friendship on the down-low for as long as possible and hang in it together.

Related: ‘The Traitors’ Faithful Had ‘First Ever Anxiety Attack’ on the Show

Were you secretly scheming off-camera?

Weir: There is very little off-camera. The producers will separate you. Everything you see is when we got together.

Was it a fun experience overall?

Lipinski: It was the coolest thing. I mean, we have PTSD from being in that Scottish castle together! But we went through a unique experience—like everyone else in that castle went there alone, and we got to go there knowing that our best friend was there. I don't think I would have done it without him.

Lipinski and Weir—both pictured in black and white on the bottom step—during Season 4 of The Traitors

Which other contestants really surprised you?

Weir: I never know who anyone is. I don't really follow pop culture celebrity gossip. So when we arrived, I obviously knew Tara and...

Lipinski: I knew Mark Ballas from Dancing with the Stars.

Weir: I knew Lisa Rinna’s face. I didn't know much about her.

Lipinski: I've never seen a Housewives show. So I had no idea about the lore of these women. So when I heard like, “Oh, she would do that,” like, really, I only knew them from the Scottish castle. But they were all so chill and cool.

Related: ‘Traitors’ Fans Think Lisa Rinna’s ‘Murder in Plain Sight’ Will Go Horribly Off Script

You two really don’t text each other about fun TV moments?

Lipinski: We're not big reality TV people, but I watched Dancing with the Stars last season.

Weir: Back in the day, I liked The Simple Life with Paris [Hilton] and Nicole [Richie]. But I'm a big fan of sitting down and watching the things I've already seen before. So I love The Diplomat,Mama's Family and Game of Thrones. I don't need some more drama.

Johnny, did you just say Mama's Family and Game of Thrones in the same sentence?

Weir: Welcome to my world.

Have you watched Heated Rivalry yet?

Lipinski: Not yet. I need to.

Weir: I've heard it's sexy for lots of reasons. We’ll get into it.

Let’s get your quick takes on classic ice-skating movies. Start with Blades of Glory.

Weir: The [producers] called me before that movie and told me they were going to make fun of me. Jon Heder was in a peacock costume because I was a swan in my first Olympics. I was like, “Go for it. Have fun. Make all the fun.” So I'm down. I love Will Ferrell

The Cutting Edge?

Lipinski: A classic.

Weir: Since then, I've always wanted a hockey husband. “Toe pick!”

Ice Castles?

Lipinski: Oh, I love Ice Castles.

Weir: “Lexi, the roses!”

Ice Princess?

Lipinski: That was good. That was cute.

Weir: That may have missed me.

I, Tonya?

Lipinski:Margot Robbie was so good in that. My Olympics were four years after the Tonya [Harding] and Nancy [Kerrigan] thing. So it was interesting to see what happened in this really cinematic way with incredible actors portraying these skaters. I thought it was such a good, good movie.

Weir: I'm friendly with Nancy, so I didn't want to support Tonya, so I didn’t see.

Related: The 13 Most Unforgettable (and Controversial) Figure Skating Moments Ever

You seem to be on the same wavelength a lot.

Lipinski: The friendship just runs deeper than a working relationship. We are soul mates, in a way. I feel like I could go for three weeks and not talk to him, and then pick up the phone and spill out all my secrets.

Weir: She can be like “OK, I gotta go. Georgie is doing something.” And then, like, six days later we pick up our conversation exactly where we left off. We're on the same wavelength constantly.

So tell us something about each other that isn’t common knowledge.

Weir: I don’t think people realize that we are very down-to-earth people because of the way we were raised. Our families sacrificed a lot for us. And sometimes my clothes kind of take on a life of their own, and people don’t see the person inside. And I think Tara is in a similar situation. She is an incredible mother. She worked long and hard to become a mother. Every hardship that we face, we're doing it together.

Lipinski: When he's on TV and he's in his glitter and glam, people don’t realize there's so much more beneath the surface.

Weir: But we both have a touch of OCD. And I do over-collect on niche fragrances.

Wave Season Cruise Deals for Weather That Feels More Like 'Why Do I Live Here?'

Wed, 02/04/2026 - 7:10am

If your February routine currently involves scraping ice off a windshield, refreshing weather apps in disbelief or realizing even Florida is bracing for the cold right now—Wave Season has entered the chat. This is the stretch of winter when cruise lines quietly roll out their best deals of the year, and suddenly a tropical escape doesn’t feel aspirational. It feels…logistically possible.

Wave season is when you'll find lower fares, smaller deposits, onboard credits and perks that make booking now feel like a small act of self-preservation. Here’s how the biggest cruise brands are tempting travelers to swap parkas for pool decks.

Viking Tables ready for outdoor dining on the Aquavit deck of a Viking longship

Viking

Perfect for: People who want winter to end quietly and beautifully

Viking’s February Savings Event runs through February 28 and is one of the cleanest, easiest Wave Season offers out there. River and ocean cruises are discounted up to 35%, expedition cruises up to 20% and many sailings include free international airfare with a $25 deposit—which is almost unheard of for this category.

Sample reality check: a 2026 European river cruise with airfare included and a deposit smaller than dinner out. Cold weather? Irrelevant.

Royal Caribbean Royal Caribbean's Wonder of the Seas

Royal Caribbean

Perfect for: “I just want sun and a drink” energy

Royal Caribbean is fully in its Wave Season era right now, and the prices are doing some convincing. Caribbean and Bahamas sailings are popping up from about $299–$316, with weekend getaways to Perfect Day at CocoCay starting around $340. If you’re thinking bigger, seven-night Caribbean cruises are landing in the $500–$600 range, depending on ship and dates.

On top of those fares, Royal Caribbean is layering in its Wave Season perks: up to $1,000 off cruise fares, 60% off the second guest, and kids sail free on select sailings. There are also extra discounts floating around for residents, military members, seniors and first responders, which can knock the price down even further.

In other words: this is very much the “book now, figure out sunscreen later” part of winter.

Celebrity Cruises

Celebrity Cruises

Perfect for: Wanting warmth and good taste

Celebrity is offering 75% off the second guest plus up to $600 in bonus savings on popular Caribbean itineraries. Seven-night sailings aboard ships like Celebrity Beyond and Celebrity Apex are currently pricing between $735 and $1,049 per person, taxes included, depending on dates.

If your version of “surviving February” involves spa days, good wine and not fighting for a deck chair—this is your lane.

MSC Cruises

MSC Cruises

Perfect for: Families who want to escape winter without escaping their budget

MSC’s Wave Season deals are aggressive—in a good way. Think cruises from $159–$199, kids sail free, and up to $500 in onboard credit on select itineraries. There’s also a limited-time free balcony upgrade window.

Example math: a family of four booking a fall 2026 sailing could save $1,500+, and even more if drinks and Wi-Fi are bundled.

Cunard Queen Mary 2, Cunard

Perfect for: Pretending winter is elegant, actually

Cunard’s “Treat Yourself, On Us” Wave offer runs through February 25 and includes up to $600 in onboard credit per stateroom on select 2026–2027 sailings. This applies across all four Queens, including Queen Mary 2—yes, even transatlantic crossings.

It’s less flip-flops, more champagne—but still a very valid way to wait out winter.

Norwegian Cruise Line Norwegian Aura debuts in 2027

Norwegian Cruise Line

Perfect for: “I want options” travelers (and families trying to stretch a spring break budget)

Norwegian’s current Wave-style offers often revolve around free 3rd and 4th guests on select sailings—one of the most useful perks if you’re squeezing extra people into one stateroom.

Sample Savings:7-night Caribbean cruises out of Miami or Orlando (Port Canaveral) are pricing from about $599–$699 per person for the first two guests, with Guests 3 and 4 priced at $0 (fare-wise). These typically hit places like Cozumel, Costa Maya, Roatán and Harvest Caye.

5- to 6-night Bahamas and Caribbean sailings from Miami or Tampa are showing up from around $449–$549 per person, again with third and fourth guests sailing free, making this one of the easiest ways to turn a couple’s cruise into a group trip without doubling the cost.

Princess Cruises Star Princess Piazza

Princess Cruise Lines

Perfect for: “I want winter gone, but I also want options.”

Princess’ 2026 Wave Season “Come Aboard Sale” is running through February 16, 2026, and it’s one of the more flexible deals out there: up to 40% off cruise fares, up to $500 in instant savings, 50% off deposits and free third and fourth guests on select sailings.

What that looks like in real life right now: A 7-night Caribbean cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Princess Cays, St. Thomas, and St. Maarten is pricing in the $700–$800 per person range, with third and fourth guests sailing free fare-wise. If you’re thinking further ahead, Mediterranean cruises for summer 2026—Italy, Greece and Spain-heavy itineraries—are also included in the sale, which is where that 40% off and reduced deposit really help lock something in early.

It’s a strong pick if you want warmth now or want to grab a Europe trip before prices climb.

Holland America Line Holland America Line's Mediterranean Bookings are up 50% this year

Holland America Line

Perfect for: “I want warm weather and fewer people yelling.”

Holland America’s Wave Season “Start Your Journey” offer is available on select 2026–2027 sailings and includes up to 30% off fares, free balcony upgrades, reduced deposits, onboard credit and free kids’ fares when you book with Have It All.

One standout example: 7-night Caribbean cruises from Fort Lauderdale to Half Moon Cay, Grand Turk and Amber Cove are landing around $750–$850 per person, often with a free balcony upgrade baked in. If you’re not chasing the sun, Alaska 2026 sailings are also part of the deal—worth flagging now, since those prices usually creep up fast once spring hits.

It’s not flashy, but it’s very real value—especially if you care about cabin upgrades and calmer ships.

36 Years Ago, This Country Star Broke a Chart Record With a Song He Almost Didn’t Record

Wed, 02/04/2026 - 7:00am

On February 3, 1990, Clint Black's hit song "Nobody's Home" entered its third week on the Hot Country Songs chart—but it almost wasn't even recorded by the country crooner.

Black broke a charts record with "Nobody's Home," the third single from his 1989 debut album, Killin' Time. It became the first song to spend three weeks at No. 1 since Randy Travis' "Forever and Ever, Amen" in 1987.

But reaching success with "Nobody's Home" was no easy feat. Black began writing in the midst of dealing with a severe case of the flu, telling The Bootin 2019, "I had a real high fever—I was looking at, like, a 103-degree fever, and I was really just sleeping it off."

"I would just get out of bed to get some water or use the bathroom or whatever, and that was about all I could manage. It was really, really bad," he recalled, while noting, "On my way, back and forth to bed, I would stop and write these lines down. When the fever finally broke and I was able to stay out of bed for more than a couple of minutes, I sat down at the desk and looked at what I'd written, and it was really the entire song."

But even after he had the song finished, it still almost didn't make it into the recording studio.

At the time, Black knew a publisher who offered to buy the song for $250, "which was the exact amount of money I needed to keep my car from being repossessed," he said.

"And it was killing me, because I kept feeling like that was a song that could get me into the business, you know?" Black continued, noting that a record promoter he knew from the "rock biz" urged him to "hang on to the song," and loaned him the $250 for his car.

The decision made all the difference for Black and his career, as he stated in the interview, "[Nobody's Home"] is one of the four songs that really got me in the door, and got me my record deal."

Other major hits from Black's first album that helped boost him into fame include "A Better Man," "Walkin' Away" and "Killin' Time."

2000s Music Star Announces East Coast Tour With Special Guest

Wed, 02/04/2026 - 6:56am

Jason Mraz, the singer many fans first fell in love with during the 2000s, has officially announced a new East Coast tour for 2026.

The multi-platinum artist revealed the news on Instagram, sharing that his upcoming run of shows is titled Still Yours and will feature special guest Gregory Page on all dates.

The tour kicks off May 12 in Palm Beach, Florida, and continues through early June, ending with two nights at the Paramount in Brooklyn, New York, on June 9 and 10. Designed as a solo acoustic experience, the tour will showcase Mraz alone on stage with his guitar, revisiting songs from more than 20 years of music.

Tickets for all dates go on sale Feb. 6 at 10 a.m. ET through JasonMraz.com.

In a statement, Mraz shared why this tour feels personal.

“I’m happy to reunite with fans and families for a night of uplifting, healing music rooted in love, gratitude, and humor,” he told Jam Base. “‘Still Yours’ creates a shared, harmonious space through song and musical storytelling. It is my calling!”

View this post on Instagram Jason Mraz's Still Yours Tour Brings Back Acoustic Roots

The Still Yours Tour is modeled after Mraz’s recent sold-out shows in the UK and Europe, where he stripped his performances down to their simplest form. Each night will feature a mix of well-known hits and deeper cuts, told through stories that reflect where the songs came from and how they’ve grown over time.

Fans can expect favorites like “I’m Yours” and “I Won’t Give Up,” alongside lesser-played tracks from across his eight studio albums. The setup mirrors Mraz’s early career days, when he played coffee shops and small venues with just a guitar and a microphone.

The East Coast schedule includes multiple Florida stops before moving through Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Massachusetts. Highlights include a May 27 show at the Hershey Theatre in Pennsylvania and a June 6 performance in Boston, before the tour wraps in Brooklyn.

Gregory Page will join the tour as the supporting act, adding his own warm, folk-leaning sound to the evening while keeping the focus on intimate, storytelling-driven performances.

Mraz will be especially busy in 2026. Before the East Coast run begins, he is scheduled to tour South America and Mexico in March. He has also confirmed plans to release new music later this year, making Still Yours a bridge between his past and what’s next.

While the shows are simple in setup, they carry a strong emotional pull. Mraz’s goal is connection, not spectacle. That approach has long been part of his appeal, especially for fans who followed him from his breakout success in the late 2000s.Now 48, the Virginia-born singer remains best known for his positive lyrics, relaxed acoustic style and genre-blending sound that mixes pop, folk, reggae and jazz. His 2008 album We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things. turned “I’m Yours” into one of the longest-charting songs in Billboard history, and his career since has focused on music that feels personal and uplifting.

Andrew Watt Received Meaningful Gift from Jack Osbourne to Honor Ozzy at Grammys

Wed, 02/04/2026 - 6:48am

Andrew Watt’s tribute to his close friend Ozzy Osbourne at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards included a special moment that was not shown on camera. On Feb. 3, the Grammy-winning record producer and guitarist posted to Instagram, two days after delivering the electrifying tribute to the Black Sabbath frontman, who died on July 22.

In his post, Watt revealed that Osbourne’s son, Jack, gave him something special just before he took the stage.

“There is not a minute of the day you are not with me,” Watt wrote of Osbourne. “We played as loud and hard as we could Sunday night. I know you heard us. @jackosbourne put your favorite ring on my finger right before we went out there and told me to bring you up there with us. I will never ever forget you. I love you so much.”

Watt was one of  Osbourne's closest friends and collaborators, producing his final two albums, Ordinary Man (2020) and Patient Number 9 (2022).

In June, he told Guitar Worldthat he talked to Osbourne “every day.”

“Ozzy and I have a connection that’s unlike anything else I’ve ever experienced,” Watt shared. “We made some music together that we really love, and we’ll continue making music together forever.”

At the 2026 Grammys, Watt honored Osbourne during a powerful In Memoriam segment alongside fellow rockers Post Malone, Slash, Duff McKagan, and Chad Smith. The all-star band performed a roaring rendition of the 1970 Black Sabbath song “War Pigs” as Osbourne’s image hovered above them onscreen. The Osbourne family members were seen getting emotional as they watched the live performance from the audience.

Osbourne’s widow, Sharon, posted to Instagram to thank the band for making “a moment carved into musical history” and to assure them that her late husband’s presence was definitely felt during their performance.

“You are the masters of your craft and complete icons. Truly from the bottom of my heart, thank you ❤️ Ozzy was definitely in the building,” she captioned footage from the tribute.

Jack Osbournealso posted a clip from the performance with the caption, “Zero Notes – PERFECT.”

The Ranger Roll Packing Trick I Wish I’d Known Sooner

Wed, 02/04/2026 - 6:45am

More and more people are traveling with just a carry-on these days, and it’s due to a lot of different reasons. Airlines have been hiking up the prices on checked baggage more and more, making “affordable” flights not so affordable. There has also been an influx in issues of people ending up with missing luggage by the time they’ve reached their final destination. Others simply want to travel in a more minimalist, simple way.

As someone who has literally lived out of a suitcase while traveling the country on a Broadway tour, I am definitely one who enjoys traveling with as little items as possible. Now, whether I’m traveling on a 10-day cruise in the Mediterranean or going on a weekend trip somewhere warm, you’ll only ever see me traveling with a carry-on. For many people, they find this incredibly daunting and difficult. I’m here to say that it simply takes a bit of practice, plus a few techniques to keep up your sleeve. I recently found a technique that is specifically great for shorter trips, and I truly wish that I had known it sooner.

Use The Ranger Roll Method

I stumbled across a great Youtube video created by Project Untethered, a channel lead by a full-time traveler named Mitch. In this video, Mitch covers a lot of carry-on packing hacks that are incredibly useful–however, as a carry-on pro myself, I knew most of these tricks. One that was completely new to me, on the other hand, was the ranger roll method.

The ranger roll method is a specific method of folding your clothing to place in a carry-on. In the video, Mitch uses a t-shirt as an example. What he does is he takes the t-shirt, and he holds the bottom edge of the shirt inside out, along the entire perimeter of the shirt. Then, he folds in the sleeves on both sides. From there, he folds the shirt into thirds longways, which transforms the t-shirt into a rectangle shape. Starting from the top of the shirt, Mitch rolls up the shirt nice and tight, smoothing the material as he goes, creating a “ranger roll.” As the final step, he takes that part of the shirt that he originally folded inside out, and uses it to tuck around the roll itself, creating a little pouch that won’t come undone.

How I Use The Ranger Roll To My Advantage

When I’m trying to fit in a large amount of clothing, say for that 10-day Mediterranean cruise I mentioned above, I generally like to fold my clothes flat into packing cubes. However, for trips where I am packing about a week’s worth of clothing or less, the ranger roll method works perfectly.

First and foremost, I like how this method keeps my clothes in their rolled-up positions perfectly. This is great whether I use packing cubes or not. In the packing cubes, it makes it incredibly simple to arrange each ranger roll into the cube, sort of in a Tetris-like fashion, to make it fit perfectly. As I do so, the clothes stay rolled up and organized, and I don’t have to worry about them coming undone, getting wrinkled, and getting messy. Packing cubes in itself are a great way to stay organized, like using them to keep different categories of clothing together in one spot. The ranger roll method adds on to the greatness of the packing cubes, by also keeping the interior of them impeccably organized as well.

If I’m not using packing cubes, the ranger roll method is still very useful. I’ve used it to stuff ranger rolls randomly around my suitcase: inside of a shoe, in between accessories, on the edges of the suitcase. Because they stay perfectly intact, like a little tootsie roll, it’s easy to place them more haphazardly around your suitcase. No matter what method you choose–packing cubes or not, ranger rolls will add a level of organization to your carry-on that can’t be beat.

4 Core Traits of People Born on the 4th, Per Numerology

Wed, 02/04/2026 - 6:11am

Numerologists say that your birth date speaks volumes to your personality traits, personal challenges, and so much more. Your birth date resonates with specific numerological meanings, so each birth date has distinct spiritual energy and a unique divine purpose. Regardless of the month you’re born in, being born on the 4th implies you’re a hardworking individual with a realistic outlook and intentional attitude because you embody the number four. Read on to discover the numerological significance of 4, challenges to watch for, and four core personality traits that define you.

The Numerological Significance of Number 4

According to numerology, the number 4 is associated with hard work. People who resonate with 4 are typically responsible and disciplined, striving to make meaningful changes in their lives. They’re often patient, since they know it takes time to build an amazing foundation. The number 4 says there will always be rewards to reap through productivity and practicality. Those repping the number 4 typically have wealth and abundance to show for their relentless drive.

Interestingly, 4 seems to have various cosmic associations. Some believe 4 is associated with Uranus, the planet of revolution, individuality, and freedom in Western astrology. Vedic astrology says 4 is aligned with Rahu—a.k.a. the North Node of the Moon—the shadow planet associated with purpose, karmic influences, and materialistic desires. Given these cosmic energies, 4 may feel called to work with Moldavite, an esoteric tektite known to bring on immense change.

Challenges to Watch For

Those born on the 4th are dutiful individuals dedicated to building a solid foundation and mastering their goals. Their work ethic and productivity are commendable, if overly regimented and stilted. People who embrace number 4’s energy should also make an effort to embrace Uranus and Rahu. Both cosmic energies influence 4 to be a bit more disruptive than how 4 typically acts. People born on the 4th can build insurmountable wealth and stability by embracing change, innovation, and spontaneity. They may also see quicker results when they’re honest about what they truly desire. Accepting one’s material concerns and being somewhat flexible can help those born on the 4th create their dream lives.

Core Personality Traits of Those Born on the 4th1. Strong Work Ethic

People who celebrate their birthdays on the 4th are known for being hard workers. Their birth date embodies the number 4, which is known as “the builder” or “the architect.” These individuals tend to be highly motivated; however, they take a slow-and-steady approach to avoid burning out. As a result, they know how to keep their productivity up without feeling overworked or overburdened. It’s no surprise that these individuals often amass immense wealth and success thanks to their endurance.

    2. Realistic, Not Pessimistic

Being born on the 4th suggests having a realistic outlook on life. People with this birth date are often practical and sensible individuals who know that anything is doable if they’re willing to get to work. They have the tenacity, drive, and stamina to accomplish anything, so they’re not easily led astray when there’s delayed gratification. Building a solid foundation and erecting a structure in their lives helps these individuals remain realistic yet optimistic about their goals.

      3. Secretly Innovative

Uranus and Rahu guide those born on the 4th, so they’re often secretly clever individuals. Most people born on the 4th prefer to move slowly and steadily. They may initially want something dependable, but these individuals aren’t always so traditional or conservative in their efforts. They know how to create purposeful change and disruption as needed. Unlike others, these individuals do so in a way that feels natural instead of chaotic. They can remain steady and calm throughout these changes because they know how to remain in control of their destinies.

        4. Loyal & Trustworthy

Most people born on the 4th aren’t going to be crazy whackos with no sense of rhyme or reason. Sure, they may make tweaks here or there to further their progress, but these people are relatively predictable for the most part. They can be counted on to show up for others, to get the job done, and to be true to themselves. People born on the 4th are typically loyal individuals who bring a sense of solidity and stability into other’s lives. You can trust that they’ll never be a wildcard.

Six Flags Just Opened Another World-First Coaster—And It’s Flying Under the Radar

          Wed, 02/04/2026 - 6:10am

When Six Flags Qiddiya City officially opened outside Riyadh at the end of December, most of the attention went straight to Falcon’s Flight—the coaster that now holds the crown as the longest, fastest and tallest in the world. Fair enough. But tucked inside the park’s record-setting lineup is another ride quietly making history of its own, and it’s one that even seasoned coaster fans are still wrapping their heads around.

Meet Spitfire, now officially the world’s tallest inverting roller coaster.

Early POV footage is already circulating online, giving riders-at-home a front-row seat to that 240-foot inverted top hat—equal parts mesmerizing and mildly unhinged, if you dare to watch.

Related: Six Flags to Open New Park With World’s ‘Longest, Tallest, Fastest’ New Coaster

Unlike traditional hypercoasters that rely on sheer height or speed alone, Spitfire’s claim to fame comes from its 240-foot inverted top hat—an element that sends riders up, over and upside down at a scale rarely attempted before.

The coaster uses a triple-launch system to build momentum, accelerating riders forward, backward and forward again before climbing into its headline inversion. If that sounds familiar, the ride system shares DNA with launches like Pantheon at Busch Gardens Williamsburg or Top Thrill 2 at Cedar Point—but the inverted top hat is what pushes this into entirely new territory.

From a distance, Spitfire almost looks unreal. The track rises sharply against the Tuwaiq Mountains, twists overhead, then drops riders back toward the ground in a way that feels more like a stunt than a ride element. POV footage released since the opening makes one thing clear: this is not a blink-and-you-miss-it inversion. It’s long, exposed and designed to let you feel exactly how high you are.

Related: Watch the World's 'Longest, Tallest, Fastest' Coaster Take Its First Official Ride

Early reactions are exactly what you’d expect from a coaster built to break records. Plenty of viewers admitted the POV made their stomach drop, with comments ranging from “I am going to have a heart attack” to variations of nervous laughter and wide-eyed emojis, while others marveled that the park “doesn’t even look real” and feels straight out of a Pixar movie. At the same time, a smaller but louder group wasn’t impressed, calling the ride “meh,” “boring” or arguing it exists purely to claim a world record rather than deliver a longer, more intense experience.

Spitfire is one of three major record breakers at the park, alongside Falcon’s Flight and Iron Rattler, the world’s tallest tilt coaster. Together, they underline what Six Flags Qiddiya City is aiming for with its first park outside North America: not just scale, but spectacle. This isn’t a greatest-hits remix of existing coasters—it’s a collection of rides built specifically to do things that haven’t quite been done before.

Falcon’s Flight may be the headline act, but Spitfire is the ride that sneaks up on you. And for coaster fans chasing records, it’s now a very big reason to look twice at what just opened outside Riyadh.

Last Surviving Monkee Opens Up About the Pain of Losing His Bandmates

          Wed, 02/04/2026 - 5:47am

For Micky Dolenz, being the last surviving member of The Monkees doesn’t mean he’s carrying the legacy alone.

It means, as he put it, his bandmates are still there with him—every single night.

During a TalkShopLive interview on Monday, February 2, Dolenz opened up about performing after the deaths of Davy Jones in 2012, Peter Tork in 2019, and Michael Nesmith in 2021.

RELATED: Micky Dolenz Reflects on the Year the Monkees Outsold the Beatles & Rolling Stones — Combined

“Well, now that it's been quite a while since we lost Davy a number of years,” Dolenz said. “Yeah. And there was that… the stress and, you know, pain of that. And then Peter and then Mike. But by now, you know, in a way… they have never left me because every night they're there.”

Dolenz explained that even though he’s now the only living member of the band, their presence is woven into every performance.

“Every night they're there. In the songs that I sing, because I sing songs that Mike might have done originally or Davy or Peter,” he said. “And I play a lot of video from the show and from, you know, our lives together, behind me all the time.”

RELATED: Two Monkees, One Heavenly Birthday: Last Surviving Monkee Shares Moving Tribute

          That wasn’t always easy.

“If there was a point after Davy passed and after Peter and Mike, that I couldn't turn around and watch some of the footage because I would frankly just choke up,” Dolenz admitted. “But like I say, they've never gone. It's like they're still there every night.”

The Monkees, formed for an NBCsitcom that debuted in 1966, became a cultural phenomenon almost overnight. What began as a television project quickly evolved into a real touring band, with chart-topping singles and albums that dominated the late ’60s.

But for Dolenz, the legacy isn’t about chart statistics or accolades. It’s about the emotional bond that still exists between the music and the people who grew up with it.

“These fans in the audience that are out there, they were listening to these songs at 10, 12, 14 years old,” he said. “Those are your very, very formative years emotionally.”

Dolenz said that over the decades, countless fans have told him how deeply The Monkees’ music affected their lives.

RELATED: Monkees’ Micky Dolenz, 80, Mourns Friends With Poignant Photo — He’s the Only One in the Photo Who’s Still Alive

“I can't tell you the number of people that have come to me that, as children, were watching the show, listening to the music and saying, ‘Oh, you saved my life. I had a lousy childhood. Or you made my life. Or my friends and I would get in the living room and, you know, I'd be you, and somebody would be Davy. And those are very powerful moments in our lives, those years," shared Dolenz.

For Dolenz, that enduring connection is what keeps the band alive, not just in reruns or old records, but in living rooms, concert halls, and memories that continue to resurface decades later.

“The music, of course, is incredibly powerful and always has been, always will be,” he said.

And as long as those songs are still being sung, Dolenz made it clear: the Monkees never really left.

These 11 Habits Will Make People Dislike You Fast, Etiquette Experts Warn

          Wed, 02/04/2026 - 5:40am

No one bats a thousand when it comes to getting others to like them. Sometimes, we just don't click with another person. Maybe they're not very interesting, or we might think they're not interested in us. And it's OK if you stumble over interactions that result in someone not being your biggest fan. Still, etiquette experts say it's important to notice when people consistently and quickly distance themselves from you.

Why? Well, you might have certain habits that make people dislike you quickly, and it's worth reflecting on rather than shrugging off the feedback (even if it's indirect).

"Ignoring rude personal traits by using an 'I am who I am' mentality is one of the single most destructive character traits people are afraid to release," states podcaster Richie Frieman, known as the "Modern Manners Guy."

You might not mean to do this, but if you receive criticism about how you interact with others or some less-than-flattering social habits you might have that make you unlikable, it's worth doing some self-reflection and self-work rather than just continuing with those bad patterns.

Clearly, Frieman isn't holding back, though, and neither are two other etiquette experts Parade spoke to. They share 11 habits that will make people instantly dislike you, plus tips to break these tendencies and grow.

These 11 Habits Will Make People Quickly Dislike You, Etiquette Experts Warn1. Saying, 'I'm just being myself'

It's rarely a good excuse, at least not in others' minds.

"Nothing shows a truer sense of arrogance than someone constantly claiming 'I’m just being myself' to justify their rude behavior," Frieman tells Parade. "It doesn't justify anything; it simply illustrates an inability to accept responsibility."

          2. Being overly political in non-political settings

The PSA we need right now.

"No one has ever thanked an overly political person for shouting their opinions at people who don't enjoy their same views," Frieman states.

There's a time and place for these discussions, but he says pinpointing it requires reading the room.

"Know your audience to save your breath from people you know don’t care," Frieman shares.

This instantly dislikable habit dovetails nicely into another common one in the modern era...

          3. Never admitting you're wrong

Opinions still aren't facts, and no one is perfect, contrary to the "vibes" on social media. Copping this attitude IRL is a major turn-off.

"No one loves being around a person who refuses to face the fact that they are wrong," Frieman says. "Even the most arrogant person can't argue with the statistical fact that no one person is correct 100% of the time."

He isn't wrong there, to be fair.

          4. Constantly checking your phone

Our devices have become our fifth limbs, so even well-mannered types commit this faux pas, which is often called "phubbing."

"For some people, the phone has become the item that brings them comfort, a sense of security," Rosalinda Randall, an etiquette expert, states. "Others feel important by constantly checking their phones. They wouldn’t want to miss out on closing a big deal. It can also be used to avoid or limit conversation."

          5. You tell all

Randall notes that "tell-alls" can struggle with oversharing, such as giving TMI about romantic escapades.

"Some people pride themselves on being 'an open book,' not realizing that not everyone cares for the audio version," she says. "Others like or need attention. They need people to see how spectacular their life is, or they may be longing to establish a relationship."

Related: 9 ‘Old-School’ Habits Boomers Have That Can Make Them Seem Unlikable Today, Etiquette Experts Say

          6. You interrupt

Not letting others have the floor is one way to tank likability fast.

"An interruption now and then throughout a conversation can make it more interesting," Randall shares. "However, when the interruption is constant or irrelevant, it’ll cause tension and shut down the conversation."

          7. You're defensive instead of curious

Constructive criticism can sting, and disagreements can feel awkward. Still, an etiquette pro says it's crucial to open your mind rather than digging in by default.

"Defensiveness shuts down growth and repair," says Genevieve (Jenny) Dreizen, the COO and co-founder of Fresh Starts Registry and a modern-day etiquette and boundaries expert. "Curiosity invites understanding and connection."

          8. You're chronically late without acknowledgment

Things happen, but making a habit of being tardy to the party and acting like it's no big deal can make people dislike you.

"It's not caring of other's time, plans or energy," Dreizen says. "We can't always control being late, but we can control acknowledging it. You don't have to apologize; you just have to recognize."

          9. You center yourself in every conversation

Ironically, this habit is often a bid for likability.

"While this is usually an attempt at connection, it often makes others feel like they are in attendance of the 'You Show,' instead of having a conversation," Dreizen notes.

Related: This Is the #1 Mistake People Make During Small Talk, Jefferson Fisher Warns

          10. Offering unsolicited advice

Though sometimes well-meaning, this habit can land wrong if someone isn't seeking solutions.

"Sometimes sitting with someone else's hard feelings feels like too much, and fixing feels easier than sitting with them in a tough place," Dreizen states. "But without consent, advice often feels patronizing rather than supportive."

          11. Being rude to service workers

          Just don't do it.

"People notice how you treat those who can’t push back," Dreizen warns. "This habit signals entitlement and a lack of empathy."

Related: People Who Struggle With Self-Awareness Often Display These 8 Behaviors, Psychologists Say

How To Fix These Unfavorable Social Habits1. Take a beat

It takes one click to blast your hot take, but it can take you a lifetime to recover from it. Dreizen says your time may be better spent by pausing.

"Most unhelpful habits happen on autopilot," she explains. "Take a pause to ask, 'Do I need to say this?' or 'Is this about me or the moment?” [This] interrupts reflex and creates choice."

          2. Get curious instead of defensive

This one is challenging, especially if you default to defensiveness, but it's necessary.

"When something lands poorly, curiosity keeps you in connection instead of control," Dreizen shares. "Replacing 'That’s not what I meant' with 'How did that come across?” is a habit-breaker and a trust-builder."

          3. Ask, don’t assume

We probably don't need to remind you of what can happen if you assume, but it's still at the heart of many bad social habits.

"Many missteps come from filling in gaps with our own story," Dreizen points out. "Simple questions like 'Do you want advice or support?' or 'Is now a good time?' prevent friction before it starts."

Is ‘Sister Wives’ Ending? Fans React to Season Finale

          Wed, 02/04/2026 - 5:33am

As the stars of Sister Wives reflected on major life changes and unresolved tensions during the finale, fans took to social media to speculate the Season 20 ender felt more like a farewell than a tease for what’s next.

Kody, Meri, Janelle, and Robyn Brown, along with Christine Brown Woolley, reached deep into the past for most of the One on One episodes, discussing older conflicts and family drama. For many viewers, this commentary felt like a way to tie up loose ends before the cast moves on for good.

In a Reddit thread discussing Season 20, fans shared their thoughts on the show's future. Several commenters suggested the episode felt less like a season wrap-up and more like a final goodbye.

One viewer commented, "This was so clear at the end when none of them cared whether they had anything to apologize for." Another penned, "They asked, 'Why are we talking about the past?' Because you are being paid to do so, and there's nothing in the present worth filming."

A third fan declared, "Let’s be honest, it’s officially over," while a fourth claimed, "Everyone is on their own journey. I wish (most of) them good luck."

However, another viewer believes the series isn't officially over because of the hanging threads left over from Season 20. "Next season will most likely be: Aurora Brown engagement talk, Janelle building her house, Meri and Jenn [Sullivan] hosting dating events plus inn remodel, and Christine and David Woolley going on adventures. Throw in quad riding, several dinner conversations, dredging up old events with new perspectives, and replaying old photo montages."

RELATED: ‘Sister Wives’ Star Breaks Silence After Years of Family Tension

While fans believe the show has concluded, Mykelti Brown Padron shared news of filming for Season 21. Padron is Christine and Kody's daughter, married to Tony Padron, and a mother of three children.

During an interview for the Growing Up in Polygamy YouTube channel, Padron revealed that her family has filmed a new season. After that, she feels the series' future remains uncertain.

“I will say that none of the parents have the same filming schedule that they used to have,” Padron revealed.

“It’s been two weeks of filming, two weeks off,” she said. “But this last six months or so, the filming has been very, very minuscule. It’s sporadic. So, filming has been less.”

She concluded, “I think [the show] is fizzling. Because it’s not Sister Wives anymore. You know, they’re all ex-wives now.”

However, Padron acknowledged that for some family members, continuing to film the show remains an important source of income. Separately, Janelle has hinted on Instagram that she may be reconsidering her future with the series.

“I think Janelle, some days she’s like, ‘Yes, let’s do five more seasons!’ And sometimes she’s like, ‘I’m done. I just want to focus on my grandbabies. I want to focus on Taeda Farms. I want to focus on my life in North Carolina. I want to move on.’ So I think she goes back and forth.”

Sister Wives is currently on hiatus. The series airs on TLC.

How to Watch the 2026 Winter Olympics Live—With or Without Cable

          Wed, 02/04/2026 - 5:30am

The wait is finally over! You might think the 2026 Winter Olympics don't start until Friday's Opening Ceremony, but the action actually kicks off today—Feb. 4—with early competitions in curling and ice hockey. And if you’re already stress-planning how to watch it all from home, we don’t blame you—because this year's broadcast schedule feels just as intense as the ice in Milan Cortina! Depending on what day, time and event you want to watch, it could be airing anywhere from network TV (NBC), cable TV (CNBC and USA) or streaming (Peacock).

From an Opening Ceremony headlined by Mariah Carey, to Italian-American national treasure Stanley Tucci joining Snoop Dogg as an NBC Olympics correspondent, we're loving this lineup! But the stakes are higher than ever: We've got snowboarding legend Chloe Kim returning after a scary injury and Lindsey Vonn coming out of retirement and determined to compete despite a torn ACL. Plus, there are some incredible first-time U.S. Olympians to watch, including 17-year-old speedskater Jordan Stolz—a multiple world champion—and 21-year-old figure skater Ilia "Quad God" Malinin—who earned the nickname thanks to his unprecedented quadruple axels.

Olympics coverage will obviously dominate the sports news cycle throughout the games— which run from Feb. 4, 2026 through Feb. 22, 2026—but tuning in may involve some caffeinated beverages and tricky math: Because Milan is six hours ahead of U.S. Eastern Time, many live medal events will likely air while you’re sleeping or working. Plus, with coverage split between NBC, Peacock, USA Network and CNBC, finding your favorite sport can feel like a fever dream.

Thankfully, you don't have to miss a moment! Whether you've got old school cable, or are 100% streaming, here is exactly how to watch and stream the 2026 Winter Olympics—including where to find the complete schedule and how to catch up on every match, mishap and medal ceremony you might have missed.

When are the 2026 Winter Olympics?

The 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympic Games officially kick off with the Opening Ceremony on Friday, Feb. 6, but believe it or not, the action starts today—Feb. 4—with events like curling and ice hockey. The games will then run through Sunday, Feb. 22.

How to Stream the Olympics on Peacock

If you want to watch everything—every sport, every medal ceremony and every minute of action—Peacock is the spot. It's the only place where you can stream 100% of the Milan Cortina Games live, so we highly recommend a monthly subscription, which you can cancel at any time.

          Here are Peacock's current tiers:

          • Peacock Premium ($10.99/month): This is the standard plan. It includes full access to all Olympic coverage, replays and the "Gold Zone" show, but note that it does include ads.
          • Peacock Premium Plus ($16.99/month): This plan is ad-free and also unlocks your local NBC channel live.
          • Do NOT get the "Peacock Select" plan ($7.99/mo): Yes, it's cheaper, but it excludes live sports, so you won't be able to watch the Games!

How to Watch the 2026 Winter Olympics on TV: NBC, USA and CNBC

If you prefer traditional TV, NBCUniversal is spreading coverage across its network and cable channels. Here is how to find what you want:

          • NBC (Network TV): The home of primetime coverage, the Opening and Closing Ceremonies and the Games' biggest events—like figure skating and alpine skiing
Top Tip: You do not need a cable subscription to get NBC—all you need is a digital antenna. If you don't already have one, they can be purchased for both older and smart TV models at very reasonable prices via retailers like Walmart and Amazon.
          • USA Network (Cable): Your go-to channel for around-the-clock coverage of team sports like hockey and curling—plus overflow coverage of skiing and snowboarding
          • CNBC (Cable): The business news channel will focus heavily on curling—including men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles.
          • NBC Sports Network (NBCSN): After being relaunched in late 2025, NBCSN will feature the "Gold Zone" daily whip-around show (hosted by Scott Hanson), giving you a commercial-free look at the best live moments as they happen in real time.

We've gotta give props to NBC. They've launched this comprehensive schedule feature on their official Olympics website, which shows the schedule for each day and lets you track and filter by sport, athlete or event. It also gives the option of selecting whether you're tuning in via TV and streaming—or TV only.

Can I Watch the Olympics for Free?

Yes! If you don't have cable or a digital antenna, you can sign up for a free trial of a live TV streaming service that carries NBC, USA and CNBC.

While Fubo or DirectTV's free trials won't last you through the entire Winter Games run, YouTube TV just dropped a new Olympics promo: First time users can unlock a 21-day free trial!

These clogs start with a premium suede upper with soft textile lining inside to keep you comfy no matter what you’re doing. Cushioning comes from a contoured EVA footbed that supports all-day wear, and the SugarSole midsole/outsole keeps things lightweight and flexible. A hook-and-loop strap adjusts easily, letting you switch between a clog fit or a more relaxed slide depending on how you want to wear them.

A helpful reviewer wrote that “These are probably the most comfortable clogs I’ve ever owned,” because they feel “like walking on clouds.” This same shopper compared these clogs to other silhouettes they own, and felt that the Ugg’s are “more stylish” to wear with wide-leg jeans or modern attire. A second reviewer wrote, “The cushioning is great for all-day wear, and they’re cozy without being too warm.”

The hybrid design offers a ton of versatility: “Perfect for running errands, casual outings, or just everyday wear.” One thing to note is that quite a few shoppers commented that these clogs run about a half size too small, so it’s a good idea to go up a half size (especially if you’re in between sizes). They also offer more support than you’d expect: “I can wear them all day and my feet are really okay.”

What Your Heart Looks Like at 30, 40, 50 and Beyond—and Why Age Alone Doesn’t Tell the Whole Story

          Wed, 02/04/2026 - 5:25am

There are some impacts of aging that we can physically see, like wrinkles and gray hair. These changes aren’t bad—those smile lines in the corners of your eyes are from years of grinning, a blessing! They are just a natural part of the aging process.

There are also natural changes that happen as we age that we can’t see because they’re happening on the inside of the body. The heart is a key example of this. Heart health changes as we age, but these changes aren’t always obvious.

For example, aging is actually a risk factor for heart disease. According to an article published in the Journal of Cardiovascular Aging, 90% of cardiovascular disease cases happen after age 50. Aging is a non-modifiable risk factor (AKA something we can’t change) and is the result of iinflammation slowly developing in the body, the natural stiffness of arteries and the thickening of heart walls—all of which happen slowly over time.

While aging is a risk factor that we can’t change, it’s also true that age alone doesn’t tell the whole story when it comes to heart health. Here, a Cleveland Clinic cardiologist shares how heart health changes, decade by decade, and what you can do to lower your risk of cardiovascular disease as you grow older.

What Heart Health Looks Like as You AgeIn your 30s

Most people don’t think about their heart health much in their 30s, but Dr. Abhayjit Singh, MD, a cardiologist with Cleveland Clinic, says that this decade is an important one in terms of heart health. “Your 30s are when the foundation that you have built really begins to show up in measurable ways—good or bad,” he explains.

He says these are the years when people start being more proactive about their health, including going to the doctor for an annual checkup, which includes a blood pressure and cholesterol check. If you haven’t been prioritizing your health, these tests will reflect that.

Dr. Singh emphasizes that plaque buildup in the arteries is something that happens slowly over time. It can raise blood pressure without you even realizing it until a cardiovascular event (such as a heart attack) occurs. In this way, the habits you have in your 30s can either contribute to plaque buildup or prevent it.

“The lifestyle habits you have in your 30s don’t necessarily affect you in your 30s, but they inform your cardiovascular health in your 50s, 60s and beyond,” Dr. Singh tells Paradei.

Having high blood pressure in your 30s is a major sign to get it under control. Otherwise, it could become life-threatening in the future.

          In your 40s

“Your 40s are when risk really starts accelerating, particularly for men,” Dr. Singh says, explaining that men typically develop cardiovascular disease a decade earlier than women on average.

Often, he says that the 40s are when men and women are diagnosed with high blood pressure or high cholesterol. “Your blood vessels become a little bit less elastic with age, and on top of that, you may have accumulated other stressors like poor sleep, high levels of stress, unhealthy eating and a sedentary lifestyle. These habits catch up with you in your 40s,” he warns.

Dr. Singh adds that the consequences of family history (like high blood pressure or high cholesterol) start to show up.

          In your 50s

The 50s are a big decade for heart health, particularly for women. “Estrogen provides significant cardiovascular protection. It keeps blood vessels more flexible and less rigid,” Dr. Singh says. During menopause, estrogen levels decline. This means women lose the extra protection that estrogen provides. “Menopause doesn’t necessarily cause heart disease, but when you lose that protective effect, it can lead to arterial stiffness and higher cholesterol,” he explains.

For both men and women, weight gain accelerates in the 50s. Weight gain, particularly visceral fat (deep abdominal fat), is a main driver of cardiovascular disease

          In your 60s and beyond

The older you get, the higher your risk of heart disease—even if you’ve had healthy habits in place for decades. Dr. Singh explains that this is because inflammation accumulates slowly over time. As we age, arteries become stiffer and heart walls become thicker.

That said, he emphasizes that it’s never too late to take control of your heart health, whether that’s by changing your diet and lifestyle habits or taking medication to lower your blood pressure or cholesterol, if needed.

Need proof? According to a scientific study published in Nicotine & Tobacco Research, smokers who quit using tobacco in their 60s gained about three years of life expectancy compared to those who continued smoking. This is just one example of how changing your habits—even when you’re 60 or older—can impact health.

Can You Slow How Fast Your Heart Ages?

No one can cheat time. As it was explained earlier, aging is a non-modifiable risk factor for cardiovascular disease; the older you are, the higher your risk. That said, Dr. Singh emphasizes that diet and lifestyle habits impact how quickly cardiovascular signs of aging occur.

He says that many of his patients in their 50s and 60s have a heart that shows few signs of aging, a combination of good genetics and healthy habits. On the other hand, someone in their 40s who smokes, lives a sedentary lifestyle, doesn’t eat nutritionally-rich foods and has a family history of cardiovascular disease can show premature signs of cardiovascular aging.

The takeaway is that diet and lifestyle habits matter. But it’s also still important to be aware of the inevitable changes that do occur with age.

It’s hard to know what kind of shape your heart is in without getting your blood pressure and cholesterol levels checked. If you don’t know your numbers, consider this your sign to get an appointment with your healthcare provider on the books. That way, you and your doctor can assess your heart health and take steps that will keep you healthy now and in the decades to come.

‘80s Rockers to Play Songs for the First Time in 30 Years During 2026 Shows

          Wed, 02/04/2026 - 5:13am

Def Leppard will dig deeply into their song vault for their 2026 Def Leppard: Live at Caesars Palace The Las Vegas Residency shows.

The 12-show run, which goes from Feb 3-28 at the Colosseum, will include songs the band hasn’t played since the 1990s, according to frontman Joe Elliott.

"We've scrapped everything we've ever used over the last five or six tours, which was adapted all the way, but we've just actually got rid of it and came up with a whole new stage show, including setlist," Elliott, 66, told People magazine in a new interview.

“[It’s] pretty spectacular,” the rocker added of the stage production. “[It’s] where we've always wanted to be. It's taken it up many levels, not just one level."

Elliott noted that Def Leppard’s third residency will be “bigger” than anything the band has ever done before.

“The production is massive,” he told ABC Audio. “It’s the best we’ve ever had by a country mile. Visually, it’s insanely different to anything we’ve ever done.”

“We’re pulling out stuff we haven’t played in decades,” he confirmed of the setlist. “Stuff we’ve never played before.”

Elliott added that fans will “be in for a shock” if they’re expecting to hear only radio hits such as “Pour Some Sugar on Me” and others.

Ahead of their first Vegas show for 2026, Def Leppard posted to Instagram to tease, “Ready to rock the Strip! 🤘 And in true Vegas fashion, we've got a few tricks up our sleeves....See you tonight for Round 1!! 👊”

An unconfirmed setlist posted by Setlist.fm listed fan favorites such as “Photograph” and “Bringin’ on the Heartbreak” for the Feb. 3 show, as well as the classic “White Lightning” (listed as the first live performance of the song since 1993). A version of “Hysteria” featuring a vintage bass intro from the 1980s was also teased. The show also reportedly featured the live debut of Def Leppard’s newly released song “Rejoice.”

Def Leppard was formed in England in 1977. The band shot to fame in the 1980s with the albums Pyromania and Hysteria. In addition to Elliott, Def Leppard has included guitarist Phil Collen, bass player Rick Savage, drummer Rick Allen, and guitarist Vivian Campbell since the early 1990s.
