Sean "Diddy" Combs was involved in a fight at the federal prison where he is serving his 50-month sentence for transporting prostitutes, ABC News reports.

According to the outlet, the other inmate "made a remark to Combs, which instigated the event." As a result, Combs was sent to solitary confinement.

"It is unclear if he will be temporarily in solitary confinement or if it will be long-term," ABC News writes. "A spokesperson for the Federal Bureau of Prisons said the agency does not comment on the 'conditions of confinement, disciplinary matters, or other information regarding individual inmates due to privacy, safety, and security concerns.'

Combs is serving his sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey. He is set to be released in February 2028. While he was convicted of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, he was acquitted on more serious sex trafficking and racketeering charges, which came after a high-profile, eight-week-long federal criminal trial in New York.

Combs has been disciplined before during his time behind bars, with TMZ reporting in November 2025 that he was caught drinking behind bars which led to him getting in trouble. However, his family, which runs his official social media account, shared a statement at the time, denying the allegations.

"The rumors claiming Mr. Combs was caught with alcohol are completely false. His only focus is becoming the best version of himself and returning to his family," they said.

CBS News then reported a few days after the drinking incident that he was disciplined for making an unauthorized phone call, which was a three-person call that violated the prison rules. He said it was a conversation with his legal team.

Over the past two years, we've seen Jerry O'Connell go public with his love of Big Brother. In 2024, he made history, being the first person to ever host the CBS show in lieu of Julie Chen Moonves (who had come down with COVID for that week's eviction episode). Last year saw the debut of Big Brother: Unlocked, a companion series featuring exclusive live feed content, alumni-led segments, and, most pertinently, celebrity guests.

Big Brother 28 started off with a bang, inviting three reality "icons" — Angela Murray, Dee Valladares and Rick Devens — to become a part of the cast. And, outside the house, O'Connell himself would be getting the return invite, becoming a mainstay Unlocked panelist alongside legendary winners Taylor Hale and Derrick Levasseur.

"I was so excited," the actor recalls of getting the news in an exclusive interview with Parade. "Mostly because I get to sit next to Derrick Levasseur and Taylor Hale. They have not only been in that house; they have won in that house. So I really feel like I'm doing a sports show with Tom Brady and Eli Manning, two people who have won the Super Bowl, and I'm just able to ask them questions."

I gotta start with the recent news, Jerry. What was your reaction to Rome's eviction?
Rome going home last night, for those who may not know, he was sort of a leader in the house, and he sort of gathered a few troops. I really believe he was the only one, as of today, that would have put any of the icons up on the block. Because someone now has to gain momentum as opposed to not being intimidated by them whatsoever. I'm actually amazed that the newbie houseguests are not going after the icons more. If I was in that household, and I am a newbie, I would say, "We've got to get these people. We've got to get them out."

To be fair, it doesn't help that Dee and Devens have won HoH so far.
I understand that. But still, I'm amazed that there's more plotting against newbies than there is like, "We got to get these people out of here! They're going to win this thing!"

Well, let's talk about how you wound up woven into this new part of the Big Brother tapestry. You filled in for Julie during an eviction episode two years ago. And last year, you appeared as a guest on the debut season of Unlocked. So what was your reaction when you were asked to be a mainstay this year?
I was so excited. Mostly because I get to sit next to Derrick Levasseur and Taylor Hale. They've been in there. I love all Big Brother content; shout out to all online Big Brother content: You, all the Rob Has a Podcast content. But Derrick and Taylor have not only been in that house; they have won in that house. So I really feel like I'm doing a sports show with Tom Brady and Eli Manning, two people who have won the Super Bowl, and I'm just able to ask them questions.

It is funny too. I was a little nervous because I am what they call in the Big Brother world a "casual" viewer. I do not watch feeds. I don't really wait for the feeds to come on. I have teenage children that I'm trying to get through high school — fingers crossed. I'm married. I can't wake up and start watching feeds. So I prefer Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, seeing a condensed version of what happened the last few days. Derrick and Taylor know everything. Derrick and Taylor know what's happening that's not even on camera. I don't even know how they do it. Taylor's on something called — and you're going to know what this is just because you're an expert — ChatBCC. Now I have to join ChatBCC!

I do want to talk about the feeds. Because when the news was announced that you would be the new Unlocked cohost, you had said on social media that you were going to check out the feeds for the first time. Have you done so this season, and how has that affected the way you view Big Brother?
Wow. I've tried to watch the feeds, guys. It's too much. I don't know how you all do it. I get that it's exciting and you're able to pick up on clues before it's aired. But I'm okay just watching. I'm okay watching the edited-down versions. I'm okay watching a highlight reel. I just can't do it. I do have to say I do check in with Taran [Armstrong] every morning. I do watch usually the first 40 minutes of his show to see if I've missed anything shocking or anything crazy. Or, in the case of Rome and Lyric, them breaking up and then them getting together and then them having a fake breakup.

I got to tell you, when Rome left the house yesterday, it was a pretty romantic gesture. I thought when he exclaimed to the whole house [that] he doesn't care what happens, he's just in love with Lyric, and he doesn't care who knows. Man, that was real. I went to watch the live taping last night to go watch our Queen Julie Chen Moonves do it in the flesh. It really is watching one of the greats. It's just like watching a prima ballerina at the Royal Ballet, just to watch her go from the live house to an eviction to bringing them out.

The production of Big Brother, I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I don't know how Big Brother does not have an Emmy at this point. The amount of balls that they juggle during a live eviction, I don't know of a show that does it better. I don't know of a show that does it better. I'm trying to think of other shows that do it live, with keeping people isolated and bringing them out and having votes and having to deal with those insane shoutouts.

By the way, I know the houseguests can't hear me. They need to calm down with the shoutouts, man. It's just becoming a show of shoutouts. "I want to thank my cousin Pete!" How about Yash yesterday going, "DJ Khaled, we got the best music!" Like, get out of here, Yash! Oh, by the way, I do think that Yash's "skullet" is going to catch on.

[Laughs.] You think everyone's gonna get the "Yash" done?
I have a message to Yash's family. Just patent the "skullet" today. Go call up 1-800-PATENT and patent it in his name today, because someone is taking that skullet for Yash. You know what? Let me say: This is legally binding. I'm saying this now on Parade Magazine. Yash coined "skullet." It is his patent. Yash, play this in a courtroom. It is yours. We all saw it.

[Laughs] We'll get Lyric to represent him!
[Laughs.] Oh, by the way, a couple things on that. I do fear that Lyric is in a lot of trouble now. I just think, once half of your showmance leaves, I think you're just like open season. Oh God, it did annoy me a little bit when I saw Lyric after her "breakup" working out with Chuk and being like, "Oh, Chuk, you're so muscular." That sort of annoyed me a little bit.

To befair, right after that happened, Chuk went to Devens and said he should use the Veto on Lyric. She's getting the job done!
She is. She is persuasive. I'm really rooting for Jason after that Block Buster yesterday. I will give you some insight. I was in the live taping last night, and Julie Chen Moonves, in between commercials, said that she hears that Jason has a very mathematical mind and is very good at puzzles. That guy, the speed to which he solved that blockbuster, Jason could be winning some comps now. And I would like to see that. I would love to see if Jason becomes HoH. And I'm pulling for Jason.

I got to tell you, this is going to upset all yourSurvivorviewers. I think the icons are a little too drunk with power right now. Again, I'm gonna I'm gonna ruffle some feathers here. Every time I see Dee walk into Devens' HoH suite and be like, "Can you believe how stupid they are?!" It annoys me when I see that kind of hubris. I just saw The Odyssey. When you see that kind of hubris on Big Brother, that's when you know you might be flying a little too close to the sun.

Tonight, you have Ross Matthews on Unlocked, who competed on the first season of Celebrity Big Brother. Had you been approached previously about doing the show, considering your fandom?
God, I'll tell you this: Now that I'm on Unlocked and I get insight from Derrick and Taylor and our amazing producers, and I get to watch the amazing Julie Chen Moonves, and I watch them do this amazing should-be-Emmy-nominated television show. It really makes me want to do Celebrity Big Brother. It really makes me want to get in that house. I haven't been asked. I don't think they have done another one since — I call it the Todrick season. I love Todrick, and was pulling for him, and he's a personal friend of mine. So I haven't asked Todrick about it.

I think he'd give you some rather interesting insights.
It's funny, at the risk of getting anyone in trouble, I do Unlocked with two legends. When I say, "Oh, I would love to do Celebrity Big Brother," they sort of like balk a little bit and go, "Well, it's not for the faint of heart." So there's obviously intensity that comes with going in that house. It's not all rainbows and candy. There's obviously something intense. Looking at Ross in tonight's episode of Big Brother: Unlocked, when it's mentioned, he blanches a little bit. So there is something that changes you when you go into that Big Brother house. You are forever changed.

Finally, is there anything you can tease from tonight's episode of Big Brother: Unlocked?
I should tell you we have a lot of exclusive content on Big Brother: Unlocked. We get a lot of insights. I discover some pretty major news on Unlocked tonight that will greatly affect the remainder of the season. And I am brave enough to venture into a mystery place and extract that news. I'm like Odysseus going into a weird island where there are crazy monsters.

More than 55 years after its release, "Proud Mary" remains one of Creedence Clearwater Revival's most iconic songs — and one of its fastest-written. 

John Fogerty penned the 1969 classic, which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, in less than an hour.

The frontman revisited that memory earlier this year during a performance on NPR's Tiny Desk Concert. The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer called it "the first good song I wrote."

“I’d been writing songs since I was about eight years old and in a pretty hap-dash way,” Fogerty explained. “And all those years, [I was] learning and listening to the people that are great, that inspired me.”

By the summer of 1968, Fogerty had already been writing songs for years. It was around then that he received his honorable discharge letter, bringing his three years in the U.S. Army Reserves to an end.

“I opened my discharge [letter] up, and I was really, really, really happy, you know,” he recalled. “And I went right in the house, picked up my Rickenbacker guitar, started strumming, and the very first line that came out of me was ‘Left a good job in the city / Working for the man every night and day.’”

The rest of the song came together quickly. “When I finished the song … I realized I had done something I’d never done before,” he said. “I mean, it really felt different. And I looked at the page that I’d written this on, and I said, ‘John, you’ve written a classic. Wow!’”

Weeks later, he remembered thinking, "Boy, I sure hope I get to do this again."

Creedence Clearwater Revival carried on for a few more years before splitting in 1972. For 15 years, Fogerty refused to perform the band's biggest hits, "Proud Mary" included.

That changed after some encouragement from Bob Dylan. 

Bob Dylan Helped Convince John Fogerty to Perform ‘Proud Mary’ Again 

In 1987, Fogerty was watching acoustic blues legend Taj Mahal perform at the Palomino Club in North Hollywood. Dylan and George Harrison were also in the crowd that night.

Mahal knew who he was performing for, and before long, he called Harrison and Dylan up on stage. Fogerty joined them shortly after.

As the set went on, the crowd started shouting requests for the musicians to play their own material. “And then the crowd starts, ‘John, John! C’mon! Play ‘Proud Mary’!” he recalled to Guitar Player. 

After years of refusing to perform the song, Fogerty admitted he had become "stubborn." He had no intention of backing down until Dylan, who was standing beside him, changed his mind.

“He turns to me and he goes, ‘John, if you don’t play ‘Proud Mary,’ everybody’s gonna think it’s a Tina Turner song.’” He had a point. 

Ike and Tina Turner's 1971 cover had become the song's biggest hit besides the original, reaching No. 4 on the charts.

Fogerty finally gave in. "We're going to do this because Bob Dylan asked me to," he said. "Holy mackerel!" 

That night, Fogerty performed "Proud Mary" for the first time in 15 years. He said the experience was joyful and cathartic, adding that it was a "great time."

Giuliana Rancic and Jerry O’Connell's 2000's relationship is getting the spotlight after the Jerry Maguire actor gave his recollection of their messy breakup, with Rancic giving her two cents on social media.

This week, O'Connell appeared on Kelly Ripa’s Let’s Talk Off Camera and addressed his split from the Entertainment reporter back in 2004. Rancic's 2015 memoir Going Off Script detailed that she had her suspicions of his infidelity, and the relationship ended when he said, "Nope, sorry, homegirl. Things change, but you take care, OK?" over his condo intercom.

Decades later, O'Connell claims that he doesn't recall remembering the breakup happening in that way, but also couldn't “deny that [he] said that" and admitted he wasn't the best boyfriend. The actor went on to reveal that he did have another unnamed woman in his condo when Rancic arrived wanting entry. Rancic was denied entry, with O'Connell stating, "I didn’t want someone coming in because I didn’t want any confrontation.”

O'Connell bringing the story to light on the podcast has led to a series of comments and a response from Rancic. She posted a leisure video on her Instagram while sipping a cocktail on vacation.

“Have you guys heard?” she asked her followers. “Apparently my ex-boyfriend has been talking about our breakup publicly after 22 years. Hmm.”

She added, "And it seems that his memory is a little fuzzy," in relation to the actor's recollection of the intercom breakup. The Fashion Police host has been getting swarms of emails from publications asking for a comment, and says that she “could give two sentences” about the topic and “wish him all the best." Instead, it appears that Rancic would rather give fans a deep dive into what really happened.

"I could just take a deep dive and make it a 40-minute podcast," she revealed. "So tune in next week, Bill and Giuliana: The Podcast."

She concluded the video by saying, "Jerry, you are so invited. We’d love to have you.”

Rancic and her husband, Bill Rancic, launched the podcast in mid-May of 2026, distributed by iHeartPodcasts. Their candid series focuses on unfiltered discussion about life's questions, with what happened between Rancic and O'Connell definitely a topic to explore.

The actor and Rancic began dating in early 2003 after meeting at the W Hotel in San Diego, and were together for roughly a year. She would claim in her memoir that O'Connell admitted to cheating on her with Geri Halliwell, but they reconciled and continued the relationship.

In 2004, they attended the Maxim's Hot 100 Party, where Rancic noticed the actor spending time with recently single Rebecca Romijn, who would later become his wife. Some time later, the intercom breakup occured.

Vice President JD Vance and his wife, Usha Vance, welcomed their newest family member, their fourth child, Alec, on July 19th. While the new parents released a joint social media statement announcing the birth, Donald Trump, in a now-viral moment, shared the first photos of the newborn. 

Now that the Vances have had some time to themselves, the VP and SLOTUS finally revealed their own pics of baby Alec. 

In another joint social media post, Vance and the Second Lady wrote, “Thank you for all the good wishes as we settle into life as a family of six.”

The pair posted three almost-posed pictures, noting in the caption, “Meet Alec—and enjoy these attempts at taking a decent family photo with four kids!” And as any parent knows, that certainly isn’t easy.

Alec joins big brothers nine-year-old Ewan and six-year-old Vivek, along with big sis, four-year-old Mirabel. Of course, all four kiddos (along with dad and a surprisingly well-rested-looking mom) are also featured in the Vances’ new family photos. 

Fans and friends took to Instagram to congratulate the couple on their new addition. The President’s daughter-in-law Bettina Trump was quick to comment, adding a string of blue hearts while others wrote, “So precious! Congratulations!”, “Love these pics! Congratulations! He’s adorable. Beautiful fam,” and, “Aw, haha I love the candid shot! Thank you for being so relatable and not uptight! Usha you are looking good!”

Other commenters also took note of the not-so-perfectly-posed pics that the VP and Second Lady finally shared, writing, “Thank you for posting the real pictures. LOL.” 

Trump Shared the First Photo

Trump managed to beat the Vances to the punch. Earlier this week, the President posted a candid hospital photo of Vance’s two youngest children, Mirabel and Vivek, with baby Alec on Truth Social. Critics jumped on the share, blasting Trump for his parenting faux pas. 

On Reddit, comments ranged from “I don’t like JD Vance. However, it seems to me like the parents should have the right to be posting that photo” to “Couldn’t even let them have that moment without making it about himself.”

Even though Trump gave the public the first glimpse of Alec, JD and Usha’s pics are definitely worth a view. The sweet snapshots offer a closer look at the newborn and the whole Vance brood! As one commenter points out, “Lovely family photos and Usha, you look gorgeous.”

More than 60 years later, the impact of the Beatles is still felt today.

Take their 1965 song “Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)” for example. The song, featured on the band’s chart-topping album Rubber Soul, wasn’t released as a single in America, but hit No. 1 in the U.K. and Australia. It made history as the first Western rock recording to feature a sitar and it’s still making news today.

A new version of the song covered by Gerry Beckley of ‘70s chart-topping band America, featuring Graham Nash, has just been released as a single in advance of Beckley’s new album, Merciful, set for release on Aug. 28.

While Beckley’s version doesn’t include sitar, it does feature another musical twist. The America singer-guitarist recorded the song using the DADGAD tuning invented in the 1960s by British folk guitarist Davey Graham.

"I've always loved the song," says Beckley in a statement. "Playing it in DADGAD gave it a different character, and when I was listening back, it just seemed custom-made for Graham's voice."

Beckley reunited with his long-time friend Nash after catching one of his performances at the Sydney Opera House and Nash offered to provide backing vocals on a future project.

"Graham's one of my true heroes going back to his days with the Hollies," Beckley says. "When this recording came together, I knew he would bring something special to it."

Connections to the Beatles

From 1974-1979, America worked with producer George Martin, best known for his work with the Beatles, including the original version of “Norwegian Wood.” While working with Martin, America scored a No. 1 hit with Beckley’s “Sister Golden Hair,” a song with an opening 12-string guitar riff inspired by George Harrison’s solo hit “My Sweet Lord.”

Nash, meanwhile, was part of the British invasion as a member of the Hollies but crossed paths with the future Beatles as early as 1959 when they were performing in clubs as Johnny and the Moondogs. Years later, he was invited by Paul McCartney to participate in the Beatles’ famed “All You Need Is Love” broadcast and can be scene in footage alongside fellow rock legends Mick Jaggerand Eric Clapton.

George Harrison on ‘Norwegian Wood’

While “Norwegian Wood” is known for its use of sitar, the instrument’s inclusion of the classic song written by John Lennon-Paul McCartney occurred by fluke.

“I’d been listening to the sitar and I was getting interested in it,” Harrison told me in an interview for The Billboard Book of Number One Albums. “One day I went to this little shop in London called India Craft. I was buying some incense and I spotted this sitar in the back of the shop. It was a pretty cheap one, it wasn’t a brilliant one, but I bought it anyway. I brought it to Abbey Road and I tried to play it a little bit, but I didn’t have much of a clue about how to hold it and how to tune it.”

Still, Harrison was confident enough to give the sitar a spin on “Norwegian Wood.” “John played a six-string, I played a 12-string guitar, we laid down the basic track, but it still seemed to need something else,” Harrison told me. “So at that point I picked up the sitar and tried to play that lick. It sounded promising, so I just kind of fig­ured it out. Everyone was real happy, because it gave the edge to that song. It made it a little more unique and gave it a little finishing touch.”

If there's one thing I know for sure, it's that nothing beats Grandma's cooking. It's like they have access to some secret ingredient that we can't seem to replicate no matter how hard we try. Whether it's a generations-old cookie recipe or a Grandma original, they have the magic touch. As proof, I give you Reese Witherspoon'sgrandma, Dorothea's Corn Salad recipe.

This is one of those dishes that you can tell was perfected over time. It's vibrant and full of fresh summer produce, crunchy, a little sweet and tangy, and all around delicious. Not to mention it takes practically no time to make, giving you plenty of extra time to spend sipping iced tea on the front porch with Grandma. Although I'm sure it pales in comparison to Dorothea making it herself, I decided to try my hand at recreating this delicious summer salad, and I'm happy to report it came out even better than I imagined. It's perfect for a potluck or as a cool, refreshing dish on a hot summer day, and it's even better the next day. Sounds like my kind of recipe.

If you're looking to recreate this delicious ode to summer for yourself, all you'll need are a few simple ingredients. According to Reese Witherspoon's grandma, Dorothea's recipe, you need fresh sweet corn (can be frozen or canned), cherry or grape tomatoes, fresh basil, parsley, chives, and green onions. For the dressing, you'll need white wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, lime juice, olive oil, a shallot, and salt and pepper. Just as a note, I ended up using Nanko Roasted Garlic Rice Vinegar, lemon juice, hot honey and dried basil in my version.

Making this perfect summer salad couldn't be any easier, and once you've perfected the technique, you'll never need a recipe again. The first thing you want to do is prep all your veggies and herbs so that tossing it together is a breeze. Dice your shallot, halve your tomatoes, chop your parsley, chives, green onions, and basil, and cut your corn off the cob if you're using fresh. 

Next, you'll make the dressing by adding your diced shallot, vinegar, mustard, honey, lime juice, salt and pepper to a mason jar. Let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes to soften the shallots before drizzling in olive oil, screwing on the lid and then shaking vigorously for about 30 seconds.

From there, grab a serving bowl — like this stunning coastal-inspired option at Target — toss in your tomatoes, corn, green onions, and herbs, and then pour that delectable dressing all over everything. Mix to combine and finish with extra salt and pepper if desired. It couldn't be any easier. And even better than it being the epitome of low effort, it's wildly delicious.

What I Thought of Dorothea's Corn Salad Dorothea's Corn Salad unmixed

This is one of those dishes that makes you feel like you need a catch phrase, because holy cannoli, Batman, it's delicious! It tastes like spending the day on a yacht while the cool ocean air blows across your face. And it's such a simple recipe to throw together, but because it uses mostly fresh ingredients, each one brings something different to the party. 

The sweetness of the corn juxtaposed by the subtle acidity of the tomatoes, paired beautifully with the vegetal herbiness of the Italian flatleaf parsley. Slightly astringent, vibrant green onions and grassy chives added just the right amount of freshness, and that dressing is just the piece de resistance. Can you tell I'm drooling? Honestly, in the words of Guy Fieri, you could put it on a flip-flop, and I'd eat it. 

Beyond just being delicious and virtually foolproof to make, it's also relatively cheap, can feed a crowd, and is endlessly customizable. It's great on its own or layered on top of roasted fish. Spoon it onto a roasted sweet potato or eat it with chips. You could even beef it up with additional veggies, sub in different herbs or add in a few chiles for a gentle touch of heat. There's truly no wrong way to make it. Long story short, I'll definitely be making this dish on repeat this summer.

Even though it's a pretty straightforward recipe, there are a few minor ways to ensure it's truly the best it can be. Here are my tips on how to make Dorothea's Corn Salad even better — if that's even possible.

1. Shop your pantry.

Although you can totally follow the recipe as is, this is a great dish to make when you've got a few lingering odds and ends you need to use up. Have a splash or two left of balsamic vinegar? Drizzle it in! Can't figure out what to do with that last couple of drops of hot honey? You know what to do. Even if you've got a few random veggies and herbs taking up space in your crisper drawer, this is the perfect recipe to use them in. 

2. Fresh is best.

Because the majority of the ingredients in this recipe are eaten uncooked, selecting the freshest ingredients you can find really does make all the difference. Tomatoes at their peak bring so much to the salad, and if you can, fresh corn cut right off the cob will take this dish to the next level. That being said, it's also totally okay to mix things up. I used canned corn because the fresh corn didn't look too great at my grocery store and opted for dried basil for the same reason. As long as you incorporate a few fresh elements, it'll still taste amazing.

3. Practice your knife cuts.

Similar to the note above, because this dish is all about fresh ingredients, how you cut everything up matters. There's nothing worse than getting a giant chunk of onion in one bite and none in the next. Use this as an opportunity to practice your knife skills, making sure everything is cohesive for the best eating experience. Not to mention, it'll make your salad look picture perfect.

4. Let it sit.

This is more of a recommendation and less of a rule, but if you can stand it, I highly recommend letting this salad hang out in the fridge for a few hours. It allows the flavors to really get to know each other and blend into a harmonious bite that you and your guests will be talking about for days on end. Of course, I totally get it if you end up devouring the entire bowl right after you make it.

Electropop icons 3OH!3 is back with a brand new single.

On July 24, the duo released "My Friends," a high-energy, playful track that features a special guest — singer Nathaniel Motte's 3-year-old daughter.

"This song started in the place I’m happiest: in our living room with a guitar and my family," explained Motte. "My daughter Nico and I started singing about her friends being party animals and we were laughing and dancing. It’s hard keeping up with your friends sometimes! Party good, party hard, always party in moderation."

"My Friends" is 3OH!3's first original release since last year, when the duo dropped two independent singles: "Hit Me Harder" on Nov. 7, 2025, and "Slushie" on July 25, 2025. The latest release propels the hitmakers into a new era while still maintaining the signature 3OH!3 sound that longtime fans know and love.

Formed in 2004 by Motte and Sean Foreman, 3OH!3 became international sensations in 2008 with the breakout hit, "Don't Trust Me," from its second studio album, Want. The song peaked at no. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 and is certified 5x Platinum. Over the course of its career, 3OH!3 has gone on to work with some of the biggest names in music. "STARSTRUKK (Feat.Katy Perry)" was released in 2008, while "Good Girls Go Bad (Feat. Leighton Meester) arrived in 2009. Motte and Foreman are also longtime collaborators withKesha, working together on two of the biggest songs of the early 2010s, 3OH!3's "My First Kiss" and Kesha's "Blah Blah Blah".

On July 17, at the end of "DONTTRUSTME," Kesha joined the duo on stage at Churchill Park Music Festival in St. John's, Canada, per Setlist. FM.

"When you find out your friends are playing the same festival so you go say hey," the singer wrote in an Instagram Reel.

Fans were thrilled with Kesha's surprise appearance. "Literally iconic as ever," one person wrote in the comments.

Another said, "Best collab of ALL TIME."

This summer, 3OH!3! is touring across North America with Simple Plan and Bowling For Soup on the Bigger Than You Think! Tour – The Sequel!.

After more than four decades of grinding guitars, mechanical beats and apocalyptic noise, Ministry is calling it quits. The pioneering industrial band has announced that its 17th studio album, Hate To Go (Take Out or Delivery), will be its final release. The album is set to arrive on Oct. 30 via Cleopatra Records and will feature the band’s new single, “Burned Out,” a title that feels like the last sparks from a machine that’s finally run out of steam.

“I’m f***ing done,” frontman Al Jourgensen said in a statement, according to Rolling Stone. “I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished. I’m amazed at the path that it’s taken, from With Sympathy to where we’re at today, and all points in between.” Jourgensen added that after such a long career, he feels at peace with bringing Ministry’s recording journey to an end. “It’s been quite a ride, but I’m completely at peace with the fact that it’s done,” he said. “It’s time to herd goats.”

Hate To Go (Take Out or Delivery) will feature one final collaboration with longtime Ministry member Paul Barker on the closing track, “We’re Still Here.” The album also includes contributions from Jourgensen’s current lineup, including guitarists Monte Pittman and Cesar Soto, bassist Paul D’Amour, sampler and synth player John Bechdel and drummer Pepe Clarke Magaña.

Following the album’s release, Ministry will embark on an international farewell tour in 2027. The Goodbye Europe Tour will kick off April 2, 2027, in Utrecht, Netherlands, with special guests Die Krupps. Additional European dates have been announced, and a U.S. leg is expected to follow.

Founded by Jourgensen in Chicago in 1981, Ministry became one of industrial music’s most influential acts, releasing 17 studio albums along with live records, side projects and documentaries. For fans of the band’s punishing sound, Hate To Go (Take Out or Delivery) marks the end of the line and one last gasp of industrial noise from a group that helped build the genre.

More than 100 kids and their families gathered for Mr. Bubble's "Smash & Splash" Birthday Bash on Thursday, July 23, where celebrity chef and TV personality Duff Goldman unveiled a nearly 2,000-pound birthday cake designed for kids of all ages to quite literally jump into, before cooling off in oversized bubble-filled sprinklers.

“Mr. Bubble has been bringing fun to bath time for generations, so I knew that I wanted to take another classic childhood tradition—the smash cake—and give it the full Mr. Bubble treatment,” Goldman, 51, said in a statement. "And because we’re celebrating Mr. Bubble, the celebration doesn’t stop when the cake is smashed. The bubbles make getting clean even more fun than making the mess."

Across 12 years, the Walking Dead franchise has seen many characters come and go. But chief among them has to be Daryl Dixon. Played by Norman Reedus, the irascible tracker won his way into the hearts of fans as he began to let his guard down in the post-apocalyptic wasteland. The character is so popular, in fact, that when Andrew Lincoln left the series, Reedus got top billing as the main character. So, when the flagship series took its final bow in 2022, AMC quickly decided Daryl needed an encore. The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon takes Daryl across the sea, where he navigates a zombified France in an attempt to find his way back home. Season 3, which initially aired in 2025, just dropped on Netflix, and it's the perfect time to binge before Daryl and Carol (Melissa McBride) return for the fourth and final season in 2027.

Not to burst anyone's bubble, but professional wrestling is staged. However, behind the bone-crushing moves and over-the-top personalities are a group of very real people, unique combinations of athletes and actors who are consistently scrapping to remain in the ring. When it premiered in 2025, WWE Unreal took a rare look behind the scenes of the world's biggest wrestling organization, showcasing the trials and tribulations of both the wrestlers and the people responsible for keeping everything afloat. Season 3, which premiered July 21, spotlights the farewell tour of John Cena, as well as a peek behind the curtain at both this year's Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania. So feel free to tell the wrestling fans in your life, "Llllllllet's get ready to binge!"

Last year, Netflix went out west for its own take on the Yellowstone-esque drama in Ransom Canyon. Starring Josh Duhamel and Minka Kelly, the show based on the novels by Jodi Thomas immediately rounded up loyal fans like cattle. It was only a matter of when, not if, we'd get the chance to head back to the titular town for more love triangles, game-changing twists, and ten-gallon hats. And Season 2 absolutely delivered rounding up a tense, yet heartwarming bunch of episodes like a group of wayward cattle. With how much the finale leaves up in the air, here's hoping we'll be back in the saddle with more Staten and Quinn ASAP!

The inspiration for Poco's 1979 soft rock classic "Heart of the Night" came naturally to lead vocalist Paul Cotton, who penned the song about his love for New Orleans.

By November of 1978, the country-rock band released their eleventh studio album titled Legend, and a few months later, in early 1979, released "Heart of the Night" as a single. The track itself was a commercial success for Poco, landing at No. 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 and ranking higher at No. 5 on the Adult Contemporary chart.

Created by Cotton, the track "kind of wrote itself...in twenty minutes", being "inspired by my love and lust for New Orleans." Although born in Alabama, the singer spent most of his life in Chicago and was "just drawn to the South" after spending 25 cold winters in the Illinois capital. Cotton's love for New Orleans was also the subject of two other tracks, "Down in the Quarter" and "Break of Hearts," a follow-up to the 1979 track.

The album and track marked a major change for Poco as bassist and vocalist Timothy B. Schmit left the band in 1977 to join the Eagles, with drummer George Grantham also leaving shortly after. "Heart of the Night" emerged as a solo effort by Cotton, in what he believed was going to be a part of a Cotton-Young Band project with founding member Rusty Young.

According to reports, the duo had "got a little rehearsal hall, put together a band, and played [several songs including] 'Crazy Love' and 'Heart of the Night'" for ABC Records and got approval to move forward as a duo. By the time the album was completed, the record label decided to issue it as a new Poco release.

Cotton recalls how drummer Steve Chapman listened to a rehearsal of "Heart of the Night" in the studio and said, "Man, that’s going to be a big hit." Chapman and bassist Charlie Harrison would go from one-off session contributors to full-fledged band members.

"Heart of the Night" was a hit that lifted the new band lineup out of the shadow of the Eagles. It became well-known for its alto sax solo by musician Phil Kenzie, who knew the Poco members after they were the opening act for Al Stewart during the 1977 Year of the Cat tour. Kenzie is notably known for having also provided the alto sax for Stewart's hit track.

Critics noted "Heart of the Night" radio appeal and chart status, with one commenting it's "one of the most finely crafted songs in the group's history."

For a certain generation, raising a plastic sword over your head and yelling "I have the power" is peak childhood. Masters of the Universe was built for those people, and in June, most of them stayed home.

The Travis Knight film opened June 5 to a $29.4 million domestic weekend, finished with $64.6 million domestically and $113.3 million worldwide, and carried a reported $170 million production cost. It earned a B CinemaScore and a 67 percent critical score on Rotten Tomatoes, and dropped out of the domestic top five in its third weekend.

Amazon MGM moved it to Prime Video on July 22, 47 days after release. Within a day it was the most-watched movie on the service worldwide.

Screen Rantreported the film trending in 51 countries and holding the No. 1 position in 25 of them, including the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, France, Italy and Spain. Reports differ on the domestic figure, with Screen Rant placing it at No. 2 in the United States and Men's Journal reporting it at No. 1. Either way, it cleared Ryan Gosling's Project Hail Mary, Sydney Sweeney's The Housemaid and Jason Statham's A Working Man on the same chart.

What people are posting about is Jared Leto. Clips of his Skeletor turning up at Prince Adam's human resources job have circulated since Wednesday, which the theatrical campaign largely left out. The marketing sold sword and sorcery. Segments of the movie are closer to a comedy about a fantasy villain loose in an office park.

The other detail resurfacing is the cameo. Knight, who directed Bumblebee, inherited a project that had been in development with Escape Artists for 18 years. Netflixput $30 million into a version of the film before abandoning it in 2023, and Amazon picked up the pieces. Knight grew up on the 1983 cartoon. Galitzine and Camila Mendes, who plays Teela, have both said they came to He-Man mainly through internet memes rather than the original series.

None of that changes the accounting. A film that costs $170 million and returns $113 million loses money, and a strong streaming week does not retroactively fix a theatrical run. What it does suggest is that the audience studios keep chasing with 1980s properties has settled into a different set of habits. The people who owned the toys are in their forties and fifties now, with children, mortgages and a Prime subscription. So apparently they waited for the version that cost nothing extra and could be paused.

Donald Trump may have been the person at the podium, but one man standing behind him quickly became the star of his own rally.

A video of the attendee appearing to mirror Trump's signature gestures, expressions, and mannerisms went viral, with many viewers convinced they were watching an unexpected roast unfold in real time.

During Trump's Wednesday rally in Georgia, the man positioned directly behind the president caught the internet's attention as clips showed him seemingly copying Trump's every move. Social media users praised his perfectly timed reactions, calling him an "absolute legend" and joking that he had stolen the spotlight from Trump himself. Some even began searching for the identity of the mystery attendee, with one person writing, "Have we figured out who the dude mocking him at his own rally on live TV is? Because… I may or may not wanna follow him."

Rylan Ferguson, a 20-year-old sophomore at the University of Alabama, appeared to mimic the president's signature hand gestures and mannerisms, leading many online to believe he was mocking Trump. But Ferguson tells Inside Edition that's not the case. He says he's a Trump supporter and was simply excited to be there, "I was absolutely pumped and amazed to actually sit behind the president."

Others were convinced the moment was intentional, with one person posting, "This lovable and clever troll grabbed a seat behind Trump and spent the entire event mocking him for the camera." Another asked, "Did y'all see that man sit behind Trump and mock him at his speech in Georgia yesterday?"

The man was later identified as Rylan Ferguson, a 20-year-old University of Alabama sophomore, who told Inside Edition that he wasn't mocking Trump at all. Ferguson said he is a Trump supporter who was simply excited to be seated behind the president.

"I was absolutely pumped and amazed to actually sit behind the president," he said. "It was an honor and I would love to meet him someday!"

But Ferguson's explanation sparked another viral moment, as many online users responded with skepticism, jokingly offering a collective "Sure, Jan" and questioning whether the performance was actually intentional. While some claimed to know Ferguson personally, others continued debating whether the clip showed a genuine fan, a subtle parody, or something else entirely.

On this day in 1982, Survivor managed to make history by catapulting its beloved hit song, "Eye of the Tiger," to the number one slot on U.S. music charts.

Starting on July 24, "Eye of the Tiger" managed to settle into a comfortable six-week run at the top of Billboard's pop chart, marking the second time a Rocky theme song entered #1 in U.S. charts after 1977's “Gonna Fly Now (Theme from Rocky)."

Nowadays, "Eye of the Tiger" remains the only hit ever produced by the Chicago-based band Survivor, who famously produced the song for the third entry in the Rocky series, Rocky III.

As viewers might remember, Rocky III sees Sylvester Stallone's unlikely champion boxer defending his title against his most dangerous opponent yet: the hard-hitting trash talker, Clubber Lang (Mr. T).

As he works hard to reclaim his supremacy in the ring, Rocky finds himself being trained by his former rival Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers), putting him back on the path to success.

Released on May 28, 1982, Rocky III received mostly mixed reviews among fans and critics, with many deeming it inferior to its predecessors. However, it won renown for its musical score and boxing sequences, as evidenced by the famous theme song, "Eye of the Tiger."

It also became a massive box office success, becoming the fourth highest-grossing film of the year after E.T., Tootsie and An Officer and a Gentleman.

It was eventually followed by three more sequels, as well as three spinoff movies centered around the son of Apollo Creed, famously played by Michael B. Jordan.

Interestingly, Survivor was personally chosen by Stallone to produce a song for Rocky III based off the success of their 1981 song, “Poor Man’s Son” (via History.com). In terms of its creative direction, Stallone specifically requested that Survivor create “something with a strong beat…that would appeal to the rock crowd.”

Kicking off the North American leg of the tour at Carter-Finley Stadium in Raleigh, North Carolina, the band delivered a marathon performance proving age is just a number. Making the night even more special, the concert fell on guitarist Slash's 61st birthday, with hip-hop legends Public Enemy setting the tone as the opening act.

"Guys I was there, it wasn’t like this bad-he’s actually really good and yes-the tickets are 100% worth it," confirmed one loyal fan.

"The Black Sabbath song they covered was bad ass," added another.

"I had a great time. Set was over 3 hrs long, high energy the whole time. My kid snagged Duff's arm band and a pick! He was pumped," offered another.

"I was at the show and I have to give Axl SO much credit. He sang all of the notes (and hit most of them even if it doesn’t sound like he’s 25 anymore) and performed the hell out of that show. Honestly he still has such an incredible stage performance. Legend," another complimented.

The band is currently touring the U.S. through the middle of September before heading overseas in November with stops in Asia, Europe, and beyond.

In 2025, Rose made headlines during a tour when he appeared to throw his mic and kick a drum stand in frustration. Many assumed it was a personal issue with his drummer, but the band's P.R. team cleared up the drama, according to the New York Post.

“During the opening song at our recent Buenos Aires concert, Axl’s in-ear monitor pack had only the percussion in his ears versus his entire mix,” their statement read via the group’s Instagram Story on Wednesday. “The issue was fixed by our tech team by the third song, and we had a great night.”
