Joni Mitchell, 82, Stuns in Rare Red Carpet Appearance at 2026 Grammy Awards
Joni Mitchell showed up and showed out at the red carpet for the 68th annual Grammy Awards.
The 82-year-old music legend was shining from head to toe—quite literally—while arriving at the biggest night in music. Mitchell was photographed at the Sunday, February 1, event wearing a gold, silver, and black gradient sequin pantsuit. She accessorized her look with gold rimmed glasses and a matching hat, a black bag, and a black cane adorned with silver accents.
The Canadian-born folk singer was nominated for (and won) the Best Historical Album award at the 2026 Grammy's for her October 2024 release titled Joni Mitchell Archives - Vol. 4: The Asylum Years (1976-1980). Mitchell’s presence at the ceremony comes as a surprise to some fans, as the veteran hasn’t released new work since Shine in 2007.

Mitchell suffered a severe brain aneurysm in 2015 that left her unable to walk, speak, and play guitar, but she has since recovered to a point where she can perform again. The songwriter spoke about her recovery in an interview with The Guardianin 2020.

“I couldn’t walk,” she said before explaining, “I had to learn how again. I couldn’t talk.” She compared her health struggles to her experience with polio at age 9 and admitted, “Polio didn’t grab me like that, but the aneurysm took away a lot more, really. Took away my speech and my ability to walk”. When asked to recap the five years since her aneurysm, Mitchell told the outlet that she has been “just inching my way along. I’m showing slow improvement but moving forward.”
The California singer made a surprise return to the stage with a full-length set at the Newport Folk Festival in 2022. She also made her Grammy performance debut in 2024, at age 80. At that ceremony, Mitchell sang Both Sides Now accompanied by Brandi Carlilewho played the guitar and sang backup vocals.

Indie Rock Band Wins First Grammy 16 Years After Forming
Turnstile just made history.
The American rock band received its very first Grammy Award on Sunday afternoon. The band — which consists of Brendan Yates, Daniel Fang, "Freaky" Franz Lyons, Pat McCrory and Meg Mills — took home the award for Best Rock Album for their 2025 record, NEVER ENOUGH. The project, which was released in June 2025, received a total of five Grammy nods and the group became the first band to be nominated in the rock, alternative and metal categories all in the same year. In addition, the band received a second Grammy when their hit song "BIRDS" also won Best Metal Performance.
Other nominees for the Best Rock Album category at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards included YUNGBLUD's Idols, Private Music by Deftones, I Quit by HAIM and Linkin Park's From Zero.
Turnstile accepts the Best Rock Album award for "NEVER ENOUGH" onstage during the 68th GRAMMY Awards Premiere Ceremony at Peacock Theater on February 01, 2026.Originally a hardcore punk group, Turnstile was formed in 2010 in Baltimore, where they grew from the city's hardcore scene. They released their debut EP, Pressure to Succeed, in 2011, then a second EP, Step 2 Rhythm, two years later. By 2015, Turnstile released their first studio album, Nonstop Feelings, and went on tour afterward across the United States to support the project.
Turnstile didn't receive their national breakthrough, though, until 2021, when they released their third studio album, Glow On, which received positive reviews from critics and fans while earning them three Grammy nominations.

This was Turnstile's first album without founding member Brady Eberat, who left in 2022, and their first to feature guitarist Mills. In addition, the album is accompanied by a movie, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.
"Yeah, it was something I’ve always wanted to do, as far as having a full album film, but it always felt very out of reach," Yates told Rolling Stone last December. "Obviously, it’s an insane thing to do. But when writing the songs, once you start to kind of shape songs, you start to kind of get visuals — you start to feel colors and then, it kind of goes to settings. By the time we finished the album, there was kind of an outline for how a film could bring the songs a new life that goes beyond just the songs themselves."
When the album was released this past summer, NEVER ENOUGH debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200 chart, earning hundreds of thousands of album sales in one week. It also became the band's highest charting album to date in multiple countries around the world.

Hollywood Icon Finally Achieves EGOT Status With Surprise Grammy Win
Steven Spielberg has officially achieved EGOT status.
The beloved and deeply influential filmmaker earned his first Grammy on Sunday during the 68th Annual Grammy Awards. The Emmy, Oscar, and Tony Award-winner can now add a Grammy for Best Music Film to his long list of accolades. Spielberg earned the award for Music by John Williams, the 2024 documentary film about the composer and conductor John Williams, which he produced alongside director Laurent Bouzereau, among others.
The award completed Spielberg's long-anticipated EGOT, the rarest tier of entertainment honors, and places him among a select group of entertainers who have been recognized across all four major American performance awards. Despite a career spanning more than five decades, the Grammy had eluded him until now.
Surprisingly, Spielberg was not in attendance to receive his EGOT status-earning award, which may indicate that the filmmaker was not necessarily expecting to receive it.
However, Spielberg is no stranger to being honored by his peers, and his Grammy Award is simply the latest addition to his decorated career. He's won a total of three Academy Awards, including two for Best Director for his work on Schindler's List and Saving Private Ryan. He's also won several Emmy Awards for a varied array of projects like Band of Brothers, The Pacific,Tiny Toon Adventures and Animaniacs. Then, in 2022, Spielberg won his Tony Award for his role as producer for the Best Musical winner, A Strange Loop.
The Grammy win for Music by John Williams pays tribute to Spielberg's longstanding collaboration with composer John Williams, whose scores have become synonymous with Spielberg's own cinematic milestones like Jaws, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial and Indiana Jones.
Only 21 other people have achieved EGOT status by winning all four awards, including the likes of Elton John, Whoopi Goldberg, Viola Davis and Jennifer Hudson. There are also six people who are considered "non-competitive" EGOT winners, meaning they have received at least one of the four major awards as an honorary accolade, like a lifetime achievement award, as opposed to winning a particular category.
Make That Money, Bunny! All About Bad Bunny’s Net Worth in 2026
This bunny may be bad, yet Bad Bunny's net worth is anything but. After being named one of Time’s Most Influential People in 2020 and being the first non-English language act to become the most streamed artist on Spotify (for two years in a row!), Bad Bunny—real name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio—has the world at his feet.
The Puerto Rican artist has taken the movie world by storm, too. He made his movie debut in 2021’s F9, followed that up with the Brad Pitt action movie Bullet Train. More recently, he was in 2023's Cassandro and 2025's Caught Stealing.
In spring of 2024, he co-chaired the Met Gala along with Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Chris Hemsworth and Vogue's Anna Wintour. And in August 2024, he became the first Latin artist that has more than 15 songs with over a billion streams on Spotify.
As if his career wasn't already skyrocketing, it's now kicking into overdrive with the news that Bad Bunny will be the Super Bowl Halftime Show performer on February 8, 2026 when the game is played in Santa Clara, California. He shared the news in an Instagram post and also said this about this massive opportunity: "What I'm feeling goes beyond myself. It's for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown … this is for my people, my culture, and our history."
You have to wonder, what is Bad Bunny’s financial status with all of this success? Here is everything you could ever wonder about Bad Bunny’s net worth in 2026.

What's Bad Bunny's net worth in 2026?Ah yes, the question of the hour! According to Celebrity Net Worth, Bad Bunny’s net worth in 2026 is $50 million. Considering the fact that he has become one of the most streamed artists in the world—often the most streamed—with his songs totaling 85.5 billion plays and counting, it’s no surprise Bad Bunny is rolling in money. Plus, he now has acting roles and appearances in the WWE to add to his growing fortune.
How much money does Bad Bunny make per concert?Pollstar estimates that Bad Bunny earns as much as $4.1 million for each performance. Keep in mind that all of this money would not go directly to the singer, as there are many people associated with Bad Bunny who earn a percentage of this performance money.

How much does Bad Bunny make on Spotify?Bad Bunny has over 85 billion streams on Spotify, putting him in the top five most-streamed artists of all time in the platform's history. Since Spotify pays artists anywhere from $0.003 to $0.005 per stream, that could equate to between $255 million and $425 million. Keep in mind that this money does not go directly into Bad Bunny’s pocket. He has to pay a percentage to his label, for instance. Even so, because he is often the most streamed artist on the platform, Bad Bunny has been able to earn a pretty penny from Spotify.
How much does Bad Bunny make per year?Because Bad Bunny had a meteoric rise in a relatively short period of time, we cannot know exactly how much the artist makes in a year. This is especially true as the number will be changing frequently as his star power continues to grow. That said, it has been reported that he makes over $4 million annually. Not bad for a year’s work!
How much does Bad Bunny make per album? It is not known exactly how much Bad Bunny makes per album. Because of streaming, artists can earn money on their entire discography each year. However, it has been reported that Bad Bunny has earned over $20 million from his songs and albums. As of May 2024, he has reached 76,120,000 equivalent album sales, with his best-selling album, Un Verano Sin Ti, selling over 16,287,000 copies.
How much did Bad Bunny get paid for WWE?Bad Bunny and the WWE have not publicized how much the artist makes per appearance in the WWE ring. Wrestling experts have estimated that the 31-year-old could be earning upwards of $100,000 per appearance. Remember, he once won the WWE 24/7 Championship, so clearly the partnership is working out!

How much did Bad Bunny get paid for Narcos?Bad Bunny was lucky enough to earn the role of Everardo Arturo "El Kitty" Paez in the third season of Narcos: Mexico. But it has not been revealed how much he was paid for his role. Considering his celebrity and the payment usually received by actors on streaming series, we can imagine his salary was somewhere in the tens of thousands of dollars range.
In Entertainment Weekly, showrunner Carlo Bernard discussed the reggaeton artist’s casting. “Everybody under 30 in the office lost their s**t. I was like, ‘Oh, I should probably pay more attention to this!’ He put himself on tape, and—to no surprise—he’s very watchable, and you’re innately drawn to him.” In fact, Bernard’s one regret about the casting decision was that he felt the young star didn’t have enough to do, adding, “Whatever we gave him, he killed.”
How much does Bad Bunny make on tour?Bad Bunny’s El Último Tour del Mundo in 2022 became the highest-grossing tour ever by a Latinx artist, taking in more than $435 million. However, as with other figures, we must keep in mind that all of that money does not go directly into the artist’s pocket. Even just earning a percentage of that amount means Bad Bunny had a pretty freakin’ great year!
This does not mean Bad Bunny has or will earn this same amount with every tour, as that will depend on each individual tour's success and sales. Many artists report that the majority of the money they earn is from touring, and with numbers like this, that does track!

Dollar Tree's Sleek $1.25 9-Compartment Organizer Takes Care of Clutter in a Quick Snap

If you're organizationally-challenged like me, sometimes the hardest stuff to find a place for is the small stuff. It feels nearly impossible to corral all of those little odds and ends into any sort of cohesive situation. Thankfully, there are a lot of compartmentalized storage solutions out there for the little things, and when you can find them at Dollar Tree, they're super affordable.
So whether you're trying to organize craft supplies, hair accessories, beauty essentials or even snacks, organizers packed with small compartments are where it's at. And Dollar Tree's snappable organizer keeps everything in place. It's almost like a tackle box for all of the items you've always struggled to give a home.
The Jot 9-Compartment Organizer Case is only $1.25 at Dollar Tree and features small compartments of varying sizes and shapes to keep like items together.
Jot 9-Compartment Organizer Case, $1.25 at Dollar TreeDollar Tree
The compartments are fixed in place, so you can't rearrange them, but Dollar Tree customers seem to like that feature because this way different items can't creep under any openings and mix with one another. And despite the rounded corners of the organizers, these stack beautifully if you end up buying a bunch for different needs.

In their review, one Dollar Tree customer calls these "great organizers."
"The shape keeps these organizers in a nice neat stack," they elaborated. "Sturdy plastic and no movable dividers so small items don't migrate to other sections."
Another person wrote about how they found a particularly creative way to use these boxes ... for snacks.
"I purchased this item a few days ago," they wrote. "It went viral on TikTok over 863,000 views. I created a movie snack box and Charcuterie box. All made with the perfection of the Dollar Tree items."
Dollar Tree shoppers do note that these organizers can be really difficult to find in stores, so you may need to order online instead which requires purchasing a case of 24 for $30. This isn't so bad if you actually need 24 organizers, or if you have a friend or two who are willing to split the bill and you can divide up the 24 pieces amongst yourselves. Otherwise, if you're only looking for two or three, you'll really need to scour your local Dollar Trees to buy them individually.

Is Beyoncé at the Grammys Tonight After Dominating the 2025 Awards?
With the 2026 Grammy Awards underway, fans were hopeful that Beyoncé would attend music's biggest night on Sunday, February 1, hosted by Trevor Noah.
Considering Beyoncé, 44, holds the record for the most Grammy Awards of any artist, the “Single Ladies” singer has certainly become a Grammys staple.
Is Beyoncé at the Grammys?Sadly, the Texas native did not attend the Grammy Awards. Despite Bey’s unforgettable 2025 awards show season, she did not release eligible music this time around, which likely explains her absence.
Last year, Beyoncé had a historic night at the 2025 Grammy Awards, winning Album of the Year for Cowboy Carter, marking her first victory in the top category. She also took home Best Country Album for Cowboy Carter, becoming the first Black woman to win in that category, and won Best Country Duo/Group Performance for her collaboration with Miley Cyrus, “II Most Wanted.”
Beyoncé’s other Grammy wins include Song of the Year for “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It),” Best Music Film for Homecoming, Best Urban Contemporary Album for Lemonade, Best R&B Performance for “Black Parade,” and multiple Best Music Video and Best R&B Song awards across her solo career and work with Destiny’s Child.
While accepting AOTY in 2025, Bey gave a heartfelt speech, saying, “For me, the award is the work. All I want to do is keep being able to do this,” she said. “I love it so much. It makes me so happy. It makes me unbelievably blown away that it makes some people happy who voted for this award, too. All I want to do is keep doing this. So thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to do what I love so much.”

She also thanked Linda Martell, a Black country artist referenced on Cowboy Carter.
Beyoncé has been married to rapper Jay-Z since 2008, and the couple shares three children: daughter Blue Ivy and twins Rumi and Sir.

Legendary Metal Band Reaches New High With Final Album
Megadeth is going out with a bang.
The veteran heavy metal band has reached a new chart high with their self-titled final studio album, which has entered The Billboard 200 at No. 1. It’s the band’s 23rd album to hit that chart during Megadeth’s 40-year run. The band’s previous chart high was at No. 2 with Countdown to Extinction in 1992.
“After 40 years of delivering Megadeth music, playing shows around the world, I have nothing but gratitude at this moment. Finding out that our last Megadeth record is also our first #1 only further validates my will to go out on top,” said Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine in a statement. “Thank you to my family, [guitarist] Teemu Mantasaari, [bassist] James LoMenzo, and [drummer] Dirk Verbueren, and [producer] Chris Rakestraw, all our fans for making this possible, without you Megadeth would not be as successful as we are. I’d also like to thank the people behind the scenes, our management, Danny Nozell, Justis Mustaine, and Steve Ross at CTK, and our label BLKIIBLK/Tradecraft.”
“This recording is a labor of love, and I hope you enjoy this as much as we do. See you on tour soon!” Mustaine added.
The band’s new self-title effort tallied 73,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. during the week ending Jan. 29, per Billboard and sales-tracking company Luminate. The bulk of that total with driven by physical and digital copies of the album that totaled 69,000 copies, which is Megadeth’s largest sales week since Risk sold 74,000 copies in 1999.
Aside from the new singles “Puppet Parade,” “Let There Be Shred!,” “I Don’t Care,” and “Tipping Point,” the album includes a special bonus track, a new version of “Ride the Lightning,” which effectively wraps up Mustaine’s recording career. He originally recorded the song he co-wrote with Metallica’s James Hetfield, Cliff Burton and Lars Ulrich when he was a member of that band, and it served as the title track to Metallica’s 1984 album. After Mustaine was ousted from Metallica, he went on to form and find success with his own band, Megadeth.
The band is prepping to kick off their farewell tour of North America in Canada beginning on Feb. 15 in Victoria, B.C. with stops in Calgary, Winnipeg and Ottawa before wrapping up on March 6 in Quebec City. Support acts on the Canadian leg of the tour include fellow veteran metal bands Anthrax and Exodus.

Costco Shoppers Can’t Get Over This New Sofa’s Weirdly Genius Feature
Upgrading a living room usually means choosing between comfort, style or convenience. Rarely do you get all three in one piece, and even more rarely does a sofa spark jokes, disbelief and genuine awe in the comments section. But that’s exactly what’s happening right now as Costco shoppers stumble across a new couch that feels less like furniture and more like something out of a futuristic home theater setup.
People scrolling past videos of it are doing double takes, replaying clips and immediately imagining never standing up again. Some are joking that it eliminates the need for snack breaks entirely. Others say it might permanently change movie nights, sports watching and lazy Sundays on the couch. It’s not every day that a sofa goes viral for a feature no one knew they needed.
A Couch That Does More Than Just Recline View this post on InstagramThe buzz-worthy piece, shown by @costcohotfinds, is the Alton Leather Power Sofa with Cooling Unit, priced at $1,699 in Costco warehouses. At first glance, it looks like a sleek, modern leather setup. But the real shock comes when you realize it has a built-in cooling unit tucked into the center console. While many commenters are calling it a fridge, the label clarifies that it’s technically a cooling unit, not a refrigerator. Still, the idea of chilled drinks within arm’s reach has shoppers completely sold.
Beyond the cooling feature, the sofa includes built-in charging ports so phones and tablets stay powered without hunting for outlets. It also offers power reclining, allowing users to adjust their seat with the push of a button rather than wrestling with a manual lever. Combined with the leather upholstery, it’s designed to feel like premium theater seating without leaving your house.

Why Shoppers Are Losing ItWhat’s really driving the hype is how unnecessary yet irresistible the features feel. Shoppers are joking that they would never get up once they sit down. Others are humorously pushing the concept to extremes, with some comments joking about whether it replaces every reason to leave the couch entirely.
There’s also the value factor. Leather power sofas with tech-forward features often cost far more at traditional furniture stores. Seeing something this loaded land at Costco makes it feel like a surprise deal, even at a higher price point. For movie lovers, sports fans or anyone building a home theater vibe, the combination of comfort, convenience and novelty is hard to ignore.

Jelly Roll and Shaboozey Win First Grammy With Emotional Acceptance Speech
It was a milestone night for both artists as Jelly Rolland Shaboozey won their first Grammy Award on Sunday, February 1.
The pair took home Best Country Duo/Group Performance at the Grammy Awards for their collaboration “Amen,” which was announced during the live-streamed Premiere Ceremony ahead of the main broadcast.
The win marked the first Grammy victory for both Jelly Roll and Shaboozey, capping a category that featured some of country music’s most established names. The nominees included “A Song to Sing” by Miranda Lambert and Chris Stapleton, “Trailblazer” by Reba McEntire, Lambert and Lainey Wilson, “Love Me Like You Used to Do” by Margo Price and Tyler Childers, and “Honky Tonk Hall of Fame” by George Strait and Stapleton.

Shaboozey accepted the award on behalf of the duo. Jelly Roll was not present at the Premiere Ceremony but is expected to be at the TV broadcast ceremony.
“I've never written a speech in my life…Dear God, I just wanna say thank you. Nothing is possible without you," said Shaboozey, adding, "I want to also thank my mother, who as of today has retired from her job of 30 years, working in the medical field as a registered nurse in the psych ward. She worked 3 to 4 jobs just to provide for me and my four siblings, the children of immigrants … I have the greatest team in the world, thank you so much. And the last thing I want to say is immigrants built this country, literally. So this is for them, for all children of immigrants. This is also for those who came to this country for better opportunities ... Thank you for all your stories … you've given America color. Thank you.”
The Grammy win was quickly followed by Jelly Roll's second Grammy, this one for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for “Hard Fought Hallelujah” with Brandon Lake. Jelly Roll has one additional nomination still pending later in the night for Best Contemporary Country Album for Beautifully Broken.
The Grammy wins come after several previous nominations for Jelly Roll in recent years. In 2024, he was nominated for Best New Artist and Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “Save Me” with Lainey Wilson. In 2025, he earned nominations for Best Country Solo Performance for “I Am Not Okay” and Best Country Song but did not take home a trophy.

The win also followed a strong Grammy showing for Shaboozey in recent years. In 2025, he earned multiple nominations across genres, including Best New Artist, Best Melodic Rap Performance for “Spaghettii” with Beyoncé and Linda Martell, Song of the Year for “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” as well as nominations for Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance. On Sunday, he also entered the night with two additional nominations for “Good News.” The song was up for Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song, but it did not win either one.
For Shaboozey, the win represents a defining moment in a career that has increasingly blurred genre lines between country, hip-hop, and Americana. Together, “Amen” helped expand the sound and scope of modern country collaboration—earning its place among this year’s Grammy winners.

Lola Young Shares Health Update Ahead of 2026 Grammy Awards Performance
Lola Young is performing at the 2026 Grammy Awards on Sunday, Feb. 1, just days after her return to the stage following a months-long hiatus.
The "Messy" singer was forced to seek help after collapsing on stage on Sep. 27, 2025, while she was midperformance at the All Things Go Festival in New York City, a moment that quickly went viral.
At the time, the incident was attributed to a combination of exhaustion, dehydration, and ongoing mental health struggles, and forced Young to announce a break from touring just three days later.

Legendary Rock Singer Opens Up About Guitar Solo in Most Famous Song
When it comes to the most influential bands of the '90s, Goo Goo Dolls are often thrust straight to the top of the list largely because of one song that refuses to fade with time. "Iris" has become an era-defining hit, racking up more than 3 billion streams on Spotify and remaining instantly recognizable decades after its release.
Beloved by fans across multiple generations, the track's sweeping emotion and unforgettable sound helped cement the band's legacy. But one detail about "Iris" still surprises some listeners.
While John Rzeznik is known as the band's lead singer and guitarist, and even wrote the iconic song, he isn't the guy who played the slide guitar solo on the recorded version. He also doesn't take on the solo during live performances.
Rzeznik wrote "Iris" for the 1998 film City of Angels starring Nicolas Cage and Meg Ryan. He and his band recorded the soundtrack smash hit, but when it came to that slide guitar solo, it was performed by session musician Tim Pierce.
The reason Rzeznik sat it out? He confessed to Geniusthat his favorite part of "Iris" is that slide guitar solo and that he actually wanted to play it.
"We were lucky enough to work with a guy named Tim Pierce," Rzeznik recalled. "When I did it, it sounded like a bunch of cats fighting and when he did it, it was just this gorgeous, lush thing, you know?"
John Rzeznik Explains 'Iris' Inspiration and Why It ResonatesIn that same interview, Rzeznik went into detail about how he was inspired by the City of Angels storyline to write the song. The film was about an angel (Cage) who fell in love with a human (Ryan) and had to decide if he would give up immortality to be with her.
The song continues to resonate because, at its core, it's not about the supernatural at all. Instead, "Iris" captures the human desire to be fully seen and deeply loved, but that kind of vulnerability is not without risk.
"I think the hook of the song is just easily relatable," Rzeznik explained.
Then he went on to confess, "I mean, you know, I got lucky" regarding the song's ongoing success.
Lucky indeed, as "Iris" was still topping the Billboard charts as recently as 2025 after it went viral on social media platforms, including TikTok and Instagram.
