McDonald’s Makes the ‘Perfect Match’ With New McNuggets Kit
McDonald's is co-signing a popular trend this Valentine's Day, because even it agrees it's a "perfect match."
The cult-favorite chain announced this morning that it's partnering with Paramount Caviar to offer exclusive McNugget Caviar Kits—yep, an "upscale yet effortless" way to enjoy the latest fast food fad using McDonald's chicken nuggets.
Oh, and the best part about the collab? It's cheaper than anything on McDonald's Value Menu.
McDonald's Partners With Paramount Caviar to Offer Free McNugget Caviar Kits Ahead of Valentine's DayWith just over one week until Valentine's Day (and Galentine's Day), McDonald's revealed it's dropping its first-ever McNugget Caviar Kits featuring premium Baerii Sturgeon caviar from Paramount Caviar, a brand that's been sourcing renowned caviar for Michelin-starred restaurants and luxury hotels since 1991.

The pairing may seem a little out there, especially if you're disconnected from the caviar-obsessed part of the internet that's been developing modern combinations for the savory treat. Social media users swear by topping a Pringle or a potato chip with a little caviar bump, and that same energy has recently been directed at McNuggets to make them more "gourmet."
According to McDonald's, it's because the "crispy, golden goodness of our signature McNuggets" and the "salty, savory, black pearls of Paramount’s Baerii Sturgeon caviar" make for "a true match made in heaven." (We'll let you be the judge).

Each kit comes packed with everything fans need for an "upscale yet effortless celebration," according to an official statement shared with Parade. Included in each McNugget Caviar Kit is a 1-ounce tin of its exclusive "McNugget Caviar," a $25 Arch Card to be used to stock up on Chicken McNuggets, plus some crème fraîche, and to top it all off, a Mother of Pearl caviar spoon (which the kit wouldn't be complete without, let's be real).
McDonald's McNugget Caviar kits are set to drop at 11 a.m. ET on Tuesday, Feb. 10, exclusively via the official sweepstakes website. As for how much it's going to set fans back, be prepared to spend absolutely nothing—McDonald's is giving it away for free! That said, supplies are limited, so the competition will likely be fierce and your best bet is to set a reminder the day of, so you're ready to claim a kit as soon as they drop.

Iconic ‘80s Thrash Metal Band Celebrates Yungblud’s Grammy Win — 'In the Name of Ozzy Osbourne'
Anthrax is celebrating a memorable moment following Yungblud’s win at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards.
The thrash metal band marks the singer, songwriter and musician’s first-ever Grammy win for Best Rock Performance following his powerful live cover of Black Sabbath’s "Changes."
In an Instagram post, Anthrax not only highlighted the monumental moment for Yungblud but also shared their excitement at being part of the tribute.
Calling the “Abyss” singer a “Grammy Winner,” the band congratulated Yungblud, Frank Bello, Nuno Bettencourt, Adam Wakeman and Sleeptoken’s II.
Moreover, they expressed how meaningful it was to be part of the special tribute to the “Godfather of Heavy Metal.”

“MASSIVE congrats to @thefrankbello, @yungblud , @nunobettencourtofficial, and @adamwakeman1 & @ii_sleeptoken on winning a Grammy for Best Rock Performance! An incredible honor to be part of a tribute to the one and only @ozzyosbourne, a true original, a pioneer, and an unmatchable force in rock history. In the name of Black Sabbath // In the name of Ozzy Osbourne,” the caption reads.
The comment section was filled with congratulatory messages not only for the “I Think I'm Okay” hitmaker but also for Bello.
“Congrats @thefrankbello can't wait for new Anthrax songs,” one wrote.
“Go on Frank and the rest of you guys ... Ozzy forever,” a follower added.
“Yes! Congratulations! Well deserved,” another echoed.
View this post on InstagramA fan also recalled the live performance, noting, “I was in the Back To The Beginning show and could see Frank Bello, Nuno Bettencourt, Adam Wakeman and Yungblud play this beautiful song. I love you guys! Anthrax, I will see you again at the Resurrection Fest, Spain 2026.”
The award-winning performance took place during the singer’s emotional tribute set as part of Ozzy Osbourne's final concert, Back To The Beginning, in July.
As mentioned, he delivered his rendition of “Changes” with notable musicians, including Frank Bello, the bassist of Anthrax, guitarist Nuno Bettencourt of Extreme, II from Sleep Token on drums, and Adam Wakeman, longtime keyboardist and rhythm guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne's band.
To accept the recognition, Yungblud was joined by the late music icon’s widow, Sharon Osbourne, and the all-star supergroup who reunited onstage.
During his acceptance speech, the 28-year-old artist admitted he was completely surprised by the win and overwhelmed to be on stage.
Despite this, he expressed his deep gratitude to the supporters and dedicated his first Grammy win to the former Black Sabbath frontman, whom he called his “idol.”
"To grow up loving an idol who helps figure out your identity, not only as a musician but as a man, is something I'm truly grateful for," he added. "But then to form a relationship with them and honor them at their final show…we're finding it so strange to comprehend."

Fans Call Cher an ‘Icon’ After Chaotic Grammys Appearance
Chermade a wild cameo at the 68th annual Grammy Awards, but fans are giving her a free "pass" following a major faux pas.
After an 18-year absence from the prestigious awards ceremony, the music legend, 79, appeared onstage during the 2026 gala to receive a lifetime achievement award— and to present the coveted award for Record of the Year. But the “Believe” singer mistakenly started to walk off stage before completing her Grammy duties.
Host Trevor Noah had to call her back. "Before you go, before you go Cher, before you go, could we get you to announce the nominees? I could do it, but it’s not the same,” Noah called from across the room.
“Welcome back Cher, everybody,” Noah said as the singer turned around and returned to the stage.
“You can see I wanted to get off the stage,” Cher joked, before announcing the outstanding nominees for best record of the year.
MTV’s comment on an Instagram post from the moment read, “FACT: The #GRAMMYs run on @cher’s schedule, not the other way around! ⏰.”
Fans agreed.
“The words 'icon' and 'living legend' come to mind. ❤️❤️👏,” one fan wrote in the comment section.
“After the Grammys robbed her of a proper ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ introduction she gave us this baby 🔥❤️❤️❤️😍 Cher/Icon,” another wrote.
“This was the most ICONIC moment of the Grammys!” a third added.
View this post on InstagramBut Cher wasn’t done. After the nominees were announce onscreen via a prerecorded montage—"DtMF” by Bad Bunny, “Manchild,” Sabrina Carpenter, “Anxiety” by Doechii, “Wildflower” by Billie Eilish, “Abracadabra” by Lady Gaga, “Luther” by Kendrick Lamar with SZA, “The Subway” by Chappell Roan, and “Apt.” by Rosé, Bruno Mars— Cher botched the winning name.
As she opened the envelope and muttered that she was told the name would appear on the teleprompter, Cher announced “Luther Grandoss” as the winner.
Singer Luther Vandross died in 2005. But Cher had meant to say that Kendrick Lamar and SZA were the winners for their song “Luther," which samples a duet by the late musician.
Lamar spoke about Vandross during his acceptance speech. “This is what music is about: Luther Vandross,” he said. “This is special for me. I’ve got to take my time, because he’s one of my favorite artists of all time.”
After the winners accepted the award, with Cher still onstage alongside them, Noah cracked, “I love live television.”
View this post on InstagramFans had Cher’s back for her second faux pas of the night.
“Cher is one of a kind, she definitely gets a pass 😂," one commenter wrote.
“Only Cher could get away with that lol 👑,” another agreed.
“Kendrick was a real one for playing it cool with Cher, plus Luther always deserves a shout-out!” a third fan added.
I’d Been All Over the Caribbean—Then I Found This Island I’d Never Heard Of
January and February are peak “get me out of here” months. The holidays are over, winter fatigue has fully set in, and the urge to reset feels urgent if not slightly desperate. Last year, despite having traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean as a seasoned travel writer with over 15 years of island-hopping experience, I finally found exactly what I was looking for in a place I’d never even heard of. Called South Caicos, it’s a lesser-frequented island of Turks and Caicos, roughly 50 miles southeast of the main island, Providenciales. It's also the place that delivers the fantasy of a far-flung private island without the friction of actually reaching one.
For travelers thinking ahead, there's an added incentive right now: suites and villas at Sailrock South Caicos, where I had an incredible sun-soaked trip, can be booked at up to 40% off for stays extending into early 2027, a rare opportunity to lock in both value and availability for future winter getaways and Spring Break.
Part of the secret appeal of South Caicos for me was truly how effortlessly the trip came together. Flying into Providenciales was easy, with plenty of direct options from the U.S. We arrived earlier in the day and even had time to soak up a few hours on the popular island’s Grace Bay Beach, which remains every bit as stunning as advertised. From there, we headed back to the airport for a quick, 20-minute puddle jumper to South Caicos. Because the island is so small, you breeze in and out of the airport, which instantly sets the tone for a low-stress stay. If you're coming from or have an easy connection in Miami, American Airlines is also running a new set of direct flights into South Caicos which makes things even easier.
Upon arrival at Sailrock South Caicos, I was blown away by how the resort felt like it existed in own quiet universe. The island itself has just two resorts and a small town, all spread out and intentionally disconnected. Expect to see wild donkeys, salt flats, lots of dramatic views and coastline. It feels undiscovered in a way that’s increasingly rare in the Caribbean, especially during the peak winter months.

A Private-ish Island With All the Creature ComfortsSailrock South Caicos sits on an isolated peninsula, surrounded by ocean on nearly every side. The result is a sense of total seclusion that reminded me of being on a private island, paired with sweeping views of sea, sand, sea grape and natural coastal brush-lined beaches from almost every vantage point.

As someone who travels to hotels all the time, one of the things I appreciated most was the wide range of accommodation options at Sailrock South Caicos. The resort offers everything from hotel rooms to intimate villas to expansive multi-bedroom estates that are ideal for multi-family or generational travel.
My husband and I stayed in a two-bedroom villa with a friend, which gave us privacy without ever feeling disconnected from the rest of the property’s offerings, which include restaurants and a beach bar, a gym and spa, amenities like tennis & pickleball courts, snorkeling, on-sand volleyball, paddle boards, kayaks and my personal favorite—a small hobie cat available for sailings.

Relaxed Luxury That Doesn't Try Too HardThe overall vibe at Sailrock South Caicos is luxe but refreshingly unpretentious. Nothing ever felt stiff or overly formal, from our personalized check-in to the golf cart rides we hitched to get around the property.
Sailrock's design leans into the surrounding natural beauty, allowing the setting to take center stage. It’s the kind of place where luxury is felt rather than ostentatiously announced like at competitor resorts in Turks & Caicos, St. Barth and the B.V.I.
One afternoon, we took an ATV tour to the tip of the peninsula, where we launched glass-bottomed kayaks and reached a sandbar that appeared just in time for low tide. We spent hours collecting sand dollars, floating half-submerged in crystal-clear water, and taking photos of a beach that felt completely undiscovered.
On another occasion, the hotel organized for us to explore nearby Long Cay and do a fishing excursion filled with some of the most spectacular water, a layered spectrum of blues and greens.
That was all on top of the afternoons spent at the property's own awe-inspiring beach cove and beach bar, which quickly became a favorite on the property. Lunches there were relaxed, fresh and delicious, with sparkling views of the sea (and lots of sparkling rosé). It's the kind of place where you can order appetizers, wander into the ocean for a swim, and return to the table for your main course without missing a beat or feeling any kind of pressure to hurry along with your meal.
Dining, Wellness and Experiences That Feel PersonalEvenings at Sailrock South Caicos were memorable in their own quiet way. Dinner at Great House Restaurant, the resort’s fine dining venue, felt romantic and refined, with soft music blending into the sound of the ocean breeze. We enjoyed a sunset and bonfire dinner at The Cove, which is also the resort's beach bar. Watching the sky shift colors as dinner unfolded was a special experience, even before our creative, casual fine dining Caribbean dishes arrived with fanfare.
Wellness is woven into the stay rather than positioned as a program. The resort offers group yoga and an ample gym if you want to move, but nothing is forced. The spa, however, was a standout. My husband and I booked a 75-minute couples massage at the Ridgetop Cabana, perched high above the ocean. It was one of the most relaxing massages I’ve ever had, made even more special by the sound of ocean waves crashing in the distance.
A mixology lesson one evening turned into a fun, experiential pre-dinner aperitivo, where I learned how to work with spirits I don’t usually gravitate toward, like white and dark rum, to create cocktails I've since recreated for guests at home. But adding to the exceptional experience was when the chef wrote us the recipe for the delicious salsa they paired with chips for our happy hour, personally delivering the hand-written recipe, which I’ve cherished since (and am happy to share with you if you DM me on Instagram).
The highlight meal of the trip, though, was our in-villa private chef dinner. In my experience these can be hit or miss depending on the chef and quality of a resort's produce, but this one was exceptional. The table was beautifully set, the pacing was perfect, and the food itself was hands down my favorite on the property.
Pro tip: If you book this experience, ask the chef to prepare you mussels and a local conch fish or the fresh catch of the day. South Caicos is considered one of the best spots for fishing in the world, something you witness on just about every delicious plate.

Why Now Is the Time to Go to South CaicosWhat makes South Caicos especially compelling right now, beyond its private island feel, is value. For upcoming stays, Sailrock South Caicos is offering up to 40% off suites and villas, a rarity in the Caribbean during peak winter months. Better yet, it’s suitable for travel now through January 2, 2027, so you have almost a full year to take advantage. Stays booked on their latest promotion also come with meaningful inclusions like spa treatments, water sports activities, and other things to keep you entertained—including the aforementioned cocktail class.
For travelers feeling burnt out but not interested in a rigid wellness retreat, in my opinion, South Caicos offers something superior. It’s easy to reach, blissfully uncrowded and perfectly designed for slowing down without any overplanning. In fact, it's best enjoyed with no planning at all.
Last winter, it gave me precisely the reset I needed, and ever since, it’s felt like a secret just too good to gatekeep.

Country Superstar Was Down to $200 — and Used It to Launch His Stardom
Luke Combs had a dream and he used his last $200 to see it through.
In an interview with Willie Geist, Combs, 35, revealed that he took a major leap of faith when he first moved to Nashville in 2014. In December of that year, Combs said he wrote the song "Hurricane," which would eventually become his first hit.
"I get to Nashville, I record the songs, I sing the track and vocal, sing the vocal, mix it, and then I hit my buddy Scott up who was producing my stuff at the time, and I'm like, 'hey man, let's release these songs,'" Combs told Geist. When Scott told Combs that he needed the "master" all the songs, the country singer had no clue what he was talking about. When he asked Scott how much it would cost, Scott replied "200 bucks a song." This left Combs flabbergasted.

"200 bucks a song? I'm like, 'does it make it spit out a gold bar at the end?'" Combs said. "I had 200 bucks left. I'm like, 'I can do one song.' So I spent 200 bucks, do 'Hurricane,' put it out, sells 10,000 copies the first week. No deal, no manager, no nothing going on."
Combs used the money he got from the one song to master the rest of the songs he'd recorded and put together his first album. He told Geist he used that album to get a record deal and the rest? Well, the rest is history. "Here we are," Combs said.
Now, Combs is a household name with millions of fans around the globe—and plenty of "gold bars" to go around. His new album, The Way I Am will be released on March 20, and he's set to head out on his "My Kinda Saturday Night Tour” beginning in March and running through August 1.

‘Sister Wives’ Star Breaks Silence After Years of Family Tension
Following years of unresolved family issues, a Sister Wives star has opened up about how the Brown family reached its breaking point and the series' future.
Mykelti Brown Padron, the daughter of Christine Brown Woolley and Kody Brown, shared her perspective on years of strain within her family during an interview for the Growing Up in Polygamy YouTube channel. Along with her husband, Tony Padron, the couple opened up about the current state of the clan and the show's future moving forward.
Padron spoke about growing up in the family’s religious group, the Apostolic United Brethren, her experience filming Sister Wives, and the current state of the family's relationships. She also shared insight into what fans can expect now that Season 20 has ended.
The reality star responded to the hosts' viewer-inspired questions, offering insight into her siblings’ relationships with Robyn Brown. Padron has admitted in the past that she and Robyn were once close, but that relationship has faded in recent years.

She revealed, “I would say there’s probably 80-85 percent of my siblings who don’t like Robyn. Of my siblings from the first three wives [Meri Brown, Janelle Brown, and Woolley]. Obviously, I’m pretty sure that her kids like her.”
Padron also addressed the current state of Kody’s relationships with his children. She noted that despite claims he reached out to make amends, some of his kids are not interested in reconciling with their father.
“Several of my siblings have blocked him as well,” she claimed. “I know which ones have, but I’m not going to say it, but I do know that there are several of my siblings who have told him point-blank, ‘Do not ever contact me again.’"
She continued, "So obviously with those, he’s still going to generalize us, and he’s not going to name us by name. But he isn’t actively reaching out [to them] and seeking that relationship."
Padron added of her father’s attempts to reconcile, “I think he could try harder. He’s not trying as hard as he could, and there’s room for improvement.”
As for the show's future, the reality star admitted the family has filmed content for Season 21, but beyond that, she doesn't know if Sister Wives will continue. “I will say that none of the parents have the same filming schedule that they used to have,” she revealed.
“It’s been two weeks of filming, two weeks off,” she said. “But this last six months or so, the filming has been very, very minuscule. It’s sporadic. So, filming has been less.”
She concluded, "I think [the show] is fizzling. Because it’s not Sister Wives anymore. You know, they’re all ex-wives now.”
Sister Wives is currently on hiatus. The final episode of the season's One on One episodes aired February 1, 2026.

These Are the Most Common COVID-19 Symptoms Doctors Are Seeing Right Now
Ripping off the Band-Aid once more, folks: COVID-19 is here to stay, and it's spiking just in time to potentially mess with your Valentine's Day plans.
Though the pandemic days may be behind most healthy people, it's still important to take it seriously to protect the elderly and people with compromised immune systems or pre-existing conditions that can lead to complications from the illness.
The specific coronavirus strains we're seeing right now may sound familiar, according to Dr. Charles C. Bailey, MD, medical director for infection prevention with Providence St. Joseph Hospital and Providence Mission Hospital in Orange County, Calif.
"All current COVID strains are subvariants of the omicron COVID variant, which supplanted earlier variants such as delta in late 2021," Dr. Bailey tells Parade. "The most prominent strains include members of the XFG lineage accounting for 85% or so of current activity nationwide."
The good news about those strains? Doctors say that for most of us, they aren't likely to wreak havoc that's much different from prior variants (though long COVID is still a serious risk with any infection).
"These strains have similar symptoms to other COVID variants and aren't considered more severe or dangerous," says Dr. Robert Biernbaum, DO, chief medical officer at WellNow Urgent Care. "We don’t test for specific strains at the clinical level, but there are typically multiple strains of COVID circulating at any given time with a similar list of associated symptoms."
Good to know! Now, find out the specific most common COVID symptoms in February 2026 that doctors and infectious disease experts are seeing right now—and why you should absolutely get a test if you show any of the signs.
February 2026 looks like it's shaping up to be similar to January 2026 in terms of what COVID-19 symptoms will look like for most people, but there are some pretty interesting patterns appearing.
"Respiratory and full body symptoms remain the most common, with cough, mucus production, sore throat, runny nose and lethargy being the most frequently reported," Dr. Steven Goldberg, MD, MBA, family and urgent care physician and chief medical officer at HealthTrackRx tells Parade. "In recent omicron variant infections, over 98% of symptomatic patients report respiratory symptoms, and over 93% report full-body symptoms."
According to Dr. Goldberg's data, fevers are becoming less common in adults than in children who have COVID-19, with between 82% and 86% of children having high body temperatures and only between 50% to 75% of adults with COVID-19 getting fevers. More adults than children, however, report suffering from headaches.
Both adults and children are increasingly reporting "intense sore throat" with "sharp or stabbing pain" than previously.
Dr. Zachary Hoy, MD, pediatric infectious disease specialist, says that brain fog may also be common, but that it's hard to measure because, well, often if you have brain fog, your brain may be too foggy to realize what it is (especially for kids). There can often be other factors contributing to brain fog as well, including diet, dehydration and not getting enough sleep.
Related: The 6 Most Important Vaccines to Get Right Now If You’re Over 60
A lot of these symptoms overlap with other seasonal illnesses like cold and flu, so if you're experiencing any, you'll want to get tested to be sure you're treating the right illness.
Some good news? Per Dr. Goldberg, only 20% to 26% of recent COVID cases have loss of senses of taste and smell as a symptom, and Dr. Biernbaum notes that nausea and gastrointestinal symptoms are becoming less common, so you'll at least be able to enjoy food again once you feel better.
Related: This Uncomfortable Symptom Is a Lesser-Known Sign of COVID—Here’s Why and What to Do About It
Should You Get the COVID-19 Vaccine or Booster?Yes, please! "The advice for avoiding COVID hasn't changed in quite some time: Most importantly, get vaccinated," infectious disease expert and University of Nevada, Las Vegas associate professor Dr. Brian Labus, Ph.D., MPH, advises.
Related: The Surprising COVID-19 Vaccine Side Effect No One Is Talking About
What’s the Best Way To Protect Against COVID-19 Right Now?Aside from getting your COVID shot annually, what can you do to protect yourself?
"We have to inhale a virus that someone else has exhaled to get sick," Dr. Labus says. "So avoid close contact with others and wearing a mask in crowded situations (no matter how unpopular the idea is) can significantly reduce your exposure."
Dr. Bailey also recommends protecting your overall health in order to best protect yourself from COVID-19, including prioritizing good nutrition, getting enough sleep, abstaining from smoking and reducing stress, while Dr. Hoy adds that regular handwashing and good hygiene practices overall can save you a lot of sore throats, sniffles and coughing overall.
What’s the Quickest Way To Get Rid of COVID Symptoms?Doctors recommend seeing a doctor for antiviral medication if and when you test positive for COVID, since they can shorten the duration of the infection. Outside of that, Dr. Labus says, "You can't treat COVID at home, but you can make yourself feel a little better while your body fights off the virus. Stay hydrated, get plenty of rest, take over-the-counter medications like acetaminophen or ibuprofen to help with fever and pain and take cough medicines or lozenges as needed."
Related: The One Thing Cardiologists Are Begging You to Do This Winter (That Most People Haven't)
How Long Should I Isolate if I Have COVID?Remember when the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended isolating for around two weeks if you tested positive? Well, that's changed. So what do we do?
"Per current updated CDC recommendations, patients with symptomatic COVID should self-isolate until at least 24 hours after their last fever (with no use of fever-suppressing medications) and any symptoms have shown at least some degree of improvement," Dr. Bailey notes, adding, "They should plan to limit contact with others and wear a mask when around others for an additional five days beyond that point."

SourcesCarnival Is Offering a Rare Solar Eclipse Cruise at Sea
Seeing a total solar eclipse in the wild usually takes serious planning—hard-to-get hotel rooms, long travel days and prices that spike the moment dates are announced. That’s why Carnival Cruise Line’s newly announced solar eclipse cruise stands out as a surprisingly accessible way to experience one of nature’s rarest spectacles.
As part of its 2027–2028 sailing season, Carnival Sunshine will offer a special Mediterranean voyage timed for optimal viewing of the August 2, 2027 solar eclipse—with no scrambling for viewing spots required. The ship departs Barcelona on July 25, 2027, and will be positioned directly along the path of maximum visibility when the eclipse peaks at sea.
“We’re excited to bring Carnival Sunshine to an expanded lineup of destinations that offer our guests even more ways to explore Europe and beyond,” saidCarnival Cruise Line President Christine Duffy.

View this post on InstagramFor cruise fans, that’s the real draw. Watching a solar eclipse from the open ocean means unobstructed horizons, plenty of deck space and a shared moment you don’t get standing in a crowded city square. Carnival says the sailing will also feature themed onboard programming and activities centered on the eclipse, turning the event into a full-day experience rather than a quick look at the sky.
The eclipse itself is just one highlight of the itinerary. Along the way, guests will visit ports including Marseille, Genoa, Salerno, Catania, Valletta and La Goulette—blending a bucket-list celestial event with a classic Mediterranean cruise.

What makes this feel especially appealing is how rare cruises like this can be. Eclipse tourism is often associated with niche expedition cruises or ultra-luxury ships with limited space and premium pricing. Carnival’s approach makes the experience a little more accessible—ideal for travelers who want something extraordinary without planning an entire trip around a single moment.
Between sea days, European ports and a once-in-a-generation eclipse viewed from the deck of a ship, this sailing is one of those travel opportunities you don’t see very often. For cruise lovers—and even casual stargazers—it’s a reminder that sometimes the best seat in the house is floating quietly beneath the sky.

75 Funny Groundhog Day Jokes for Kids and Adults
Groundhog Day is the celebration of Punxsutawney Phil, the first groundhog to make a (mostly) successful prediction in 1887 on February 2. Each year, the public watches with anticipation to see if the newly named Punxsutawney Phil will see his shadow or not. If he does see his shadow, then six more weeks of winter are in store. If he does not see his shadow, an early spring is in the forecast! The lore behind this suggests that a sunny day results in a shadow, causing the groundhog to burrow down for warmth, while a cloudy day with no chance of a shadow means that spring's early arrival is just around the corner. It's all a bit silly, which makes this a great time for Groundhog Day jokes, right?
It's obviously clear that the lore isn't rooted in fact or scientific proof. For example, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) states that Punxsutawney's predictions have only been about 30% accurate over the past 10 years. And even though the Stormfax Almanac reported a 39% accuracy rate, that's still pretty low. Nevertheless, it is a whimsical tradition to gather round with like-minded fun seekers in hopes of watching that little groundhog pop up and not see its shadow for the forecast of an early spring. A little hope goes a long way.
So, to stay on theme, why not celebrate all of that silliness with these 75 best Groundhog Day jokes with your friends and loved ones for an even better time? Laughter is the best medicine after all, and the funny quips could help distract you from the freezing winter temps while you await spring!

The World’s Tallest Hotel Has Officially Opened in Dubai
Dubai has never been shy about going big—but this time, it’s officially gone taller than anyone else.
The city’s skyline has a new record-holder with the opening of Ciel Dubai Marina, which has debuted as the world’s tallest hotel, rising 82 floors and 377 meters above the waterfront. Now open as part of Vignette Collection, the property instantly joins the short list of places where the hotel itself is the destination.
Developed by The First Group, Ciel Dubai Marina is designed to feel less like a towering monolith and more like a vertical journey through the city. From the moment guests arrive, the emphasis is on perspective—city meeting sea, scale balanced with intimacy and dramatic architecture paired with calm, natural interiors.

One of the hotel’s most headline-grabbing features is its infinity pool, perched among the highest in the world, offering sweeping views across Dubai Marina and beyond. But the experience doesn’t stop there. Dining alone spans multiple levels, including the Dubai outpost of Tattu, the UK-born Asian restaurant concept, as well as a Mediterranean café, Asian buffet and artisanal bakery. A sky pool with daybeds and DJ-led sunsets and a rooftop lounge delivering 360-degree skyline views come to life across the levels.

Families, business travelers and luxury seekers are all accounted for, with kids’ spaces, executive lounges and seamless access to Dubai Marina, Palm Jumeirah, and nearby landmarks like Ain Dubai.

Brooklinen Just Relaunched Their Beloved Comforters With Upgrades Shoppers Love
Parade aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.
Good sleep starts with your bedding—full stop. You can have the best mattress in the world, but if your sheets are scratchy, your comforter traps heat, or your pillows never feel right, you're not getting the rest you deserve. The way bedding feels against your skin matters more than we give it credit for. Breathable fabrics help you fall asleep faster and well-made pieces stay comfortable night after night instead of flattening after a few washes. When your bed feels good, your body actually wants to stay there and enjoy it.
Some bedding brands have earned their reputations by consistently getting the details right, with fabric quality, durability, comfort and that "ahh" feeling the moment you climb into bed. And when they already have an amazing product but still take the time to make it even better, well then you know they are the real deal.
Brooklinen recently relaunched their down comforters (and the down alternative variety as well) with some upgrades that make these coveted pieces even better than they were before (and if you owned the previous versions, you know they were already amazing).
Down Comforter - All Season Weight and Queen-Size, $399 at BrooklinenBrooklinen
So here's what's the same about Brooklinen's comforters. The down comforters still use Canadian down that offer warmth and loft without it feeling heavy or flat. The outer shell is the same smooth 100% cotton sateen, which feels soft against your skin and doesn't make noise when you move. The baffle-box construction is still there too, which just means the down stays evenly spread instead of shifting into lumps.
Related: Dollar Tree's Sleek $1.25 9-Compartment Organizer Takes Care of Clutter in a Quick Snap
What's different about Brooklinen's comforters is mostly about fit, weight and its ease of use. Now if you're scratching your head about that "ease of use" part, we get it. Seriously, what's difficult about using a comforter? You pull it over your body and hopefully fall asleep, right? Well, not if it's shifting inside a duvet cover like it's trying to escape.
Brooklinen added more duvet loops inside the comforter, along with clear labels for the long and short sides. How many times have you thought you had your comforter positioned the correct way and it was all wrong? These simple labels make lining everything up faster and helps keep the insert from shifting over time.
The Full/Queen and King sizes are now larger, so they actually fill out a duvet cover instead of leaving empty corners or bunching in the middle. The Lightweight version has been adjusted to be noticeably lighter, which makes the difference between Lightweight and All-Season more obvious. The All-Season and Heavyweight options stay the same in terms of warmth and heaviness.
"This is SO incredibly comfortable and warm," says a shopper on Brooklinen's website. "I love how light the duvet is while still giving the feeling of being in a cocoon. It fits perfectly in the duvet covers and the certifications are an added benefit."
So there you have it, all the more reason to swap out your old comforter for something new and improved.

Gift Cards Sold at Costco at Risk After Issuer Declares Sudden Bankruptcy
Shoppers who snagged discounted restaurant gift cards at Costco, listen up. A popular multi-restaurant card program sold through the warehouse retailer is suddenly in limbo, leaving customers unsure whether their remaining balances will still be honored. Social media and online forums are filling up with confusion as people rush to figure out what happens next and whether they need to act fast.
While some customers report successfully using their cards, others say locations stopped honoring them without warning. The situation is evolving quickly, and timing appears to matter.
What Happened to the Gift Card Program Costco store in Troy, Mich.gg5795 / Shutterstock.com
The company behind the affected cards is Synergy World Inc., which operated the Synergy Restaurant Gift Card program. The company announced in January 2026 that it was winding down operations and preparing to file for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Although Synergy initially indicated cards would be accepted through January 31, 2026, a sudden surge in redemptions reportedly forced the program to shut down earlier than planned.
As a result, both physical and digital gift cards tied to the program were abruptly invalidated, leaving many customers with unused balances. The cards were marketed as flexible dining options that could be redeemed at multiple restaurants, particularly in the San Diego area, which made the sudden shutdown especially disruptive for both diners and participating restaurants.
Synergy cited an overwhelming spike in redemption requests following its closure announcement, stating it could no longer sustain the program. The company shared updates through its website and social media channels, confirming that cards would no longer be honored as operations ceased.

What Costco Shoppers Should Do NowFor customers who purchased these gift cards at Costco, there may be some good news. Multiple shoppers report that Costco warehouses are offering refunds for unused balances on the affected cards. However, experiences appear to vary by location. Some customers say their local warehouse processed refunds without issue, while others were told staff were still waiting on official guidance.
If you’re holding one of these gift cards, your best next step is to contact or visit your local Costco as soon as possible to ask about refund options. Bringing your receipt or proof of purchase may help, though some shoppers say Costco was able to assist without it. Because policies may differ by warehouse, calling ahead could save you time.
The takeaway for shoppers is to act quickly and not assume the card will continue to work. While Costco has a strong reputation for standing behind its members, timing and location may influence your outcome. If you’ve been sitting on one of these restaurant gift cards, now is the moment to check your balance and find out your options before it’s too late.

NFL Reacts to Bad Bunny's Grammy Honor Before Super Bowl LX
The NFL made its stance clear with just four words and three clapping emojis. After Bad Bunny’s historic Grammy win, the league jumped into the conversation online, signaling excitement for what comes next: Super Bowl LX.
The moment unfolded on Instagram, where the NFL commented on Apple Music’s congratulatory post to Bad Bunny, writing, “👏👏👏 Next stop Super Bowl!”
Apple Music, the presenting sponsor of the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show, had posted: “Congratulations Bad Bunny, you’ve made history 🏆 See you next week on the big stage for the Super Bowl LX Apple Music Halftime Show.”

The NFL’s response reinforced what fans already knew; Bad Bunny’s Grammy triumph and his upcoming halftime performance are part of the same historic run.
View this post on Instagram Bad Bunny’s Grammy Win Fuels Super Bowl LX BuzzBad Bunny entered the 2026 Grammy Awards as one of the most talked-about artists of the night, and he left with the top prize. He won Album of the Year for Debí Tirar Más Fotos during the Sunday ceremony at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
The category is widely seen as the most important award of the night, and Bad Bunny’s win placed him at the center of global attention just days before Super Bowl LX.
Visibly emotional, the Puerto Rican superstar delivered a heartfelt acceptance speech, speaking mostly in Spanish and directly addressing his home country.
“There is nothing that exists that we can’t accomplish,” he said, thanking the Recording Academy, his team, and his family. He also dedicated the award to people who had to leave their homeland to follow their dreams and to Latinos around the world who paved the way before him.
The win was especially meaningful because Debí Tirar Más Fotos is a Spanish-language album, continuing Bad Bunny’s role in pushing Latin music into the center of mainstream recognition. The album beat out high-profile nominees from Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar, Sabrina Carpenter and Tyler, The Creator, making the victory even more striking.
Bad Bunny is set to perform on Sunday at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. His show will mark the first Super Bowl halftime performance to be almost entirely in Spanish, a milestone that fits the NFL’s broader goal of expanding its global and Latino audience.
Watching the NFL cheer on a Grammy winner doesn’t feel forced; it feels like a league fully aware that sports and music now share the same global spotlight.

The news was shared directly by the band on Instagram, instantly sparking excitement among their fast-growing fanbase.
The 27-date tour begins June 13 in Toronto and wraps up on Aug. 29 in Salt Lake City, following a year already filled with spring U.S. shows and a Europe and U.K. run in May. Adding to the excitement, the band will be joined by special guests on select dates, including moe., The Disco Biscuits, Greensky Bluegrass, Julian Lage and Buffalo Traffic Jam. These rotating support acts reflect Goose’s deep ties to the modern jam scene and give each stop its own flavor.
Goose’s summer 2026 tour continues the momentum built by their two 2025 studio releases, Everything Must Go and Chain Yer Dragon. Released just months apart, the albums marked a creative high point for the band, blending tight songwriting with the improvisational spirit fans expect at their shows.
Frontman Rick Mitarotonda, who handles vocals and guitar, has previously shared that Chain Yer Dragon helped the band finally bring long-evolving material into finished form. That sense of growth has carried into 2026, with the current lineup; Mitarotonda, Peter Anspach (keys, guitar, vocals), Trevor Weekz (bass) and Cotter Ellis (drums), locking in as they headline bigger stages than ever before.
Goose’s rise has been fueled not just by albums but by relentless touring and a strong connection with fans. Their quick-release live recordings on Bandcamp and livestreams via Nugs.net have made it easy for listeners to stay engaged, even when they can’t attend shows in person.
Tickets for the summer 2026 dates are available through the band’s official website, goosetheband.com, with ticketing handled via Seated and major platforms. Livestream options for select shows will again be exclusive to Nugs.net, keeping with Goose’s fan-first approach.

'90s Heavy Rock Icons Announce Fall 2026 Tour Expansion
British gothic metal pioneers Paradise Lost have officially added new dates to their fall 2026 touring schedule.
The Halifax-based band confirmed a run of shows in Australia in October, expanding their current touring plans with three headline shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. Pre-sales begin Wednesday, Feb. 4 and general tickets go on sale on Thursday, Feb. 5.
Paradise Lost is in the midst of the second leg of a European tour for their newest album, Ascension. The band has sold out several shows, including performances in Hamburg, Germany and Zoetermeer, Netherlands.
Formed in 1988, Paradise Lost are widely regarded as one of the foundational groups in doom and gothic metal, genres that were born in the late '80s and early '90s that blend atmospheric melancholy with noticeable heaviness. Their early albums, like Lost Paradise and Gothic, were key in shaping the gothic metal subgenre for countless artists in the years that followed.
View this post on InstagramAcross more than three decades, the band's sound has evolved repeatedly, from grinding death-doom roots to more melodic and textured metal, without losing the dark, immersive qualities that defined them. Their 17th studio album, Ascension, was released in September 2025 through Nuclear Blast Records and marked the band’s first new material in five years.
Vocalist Nick Holmes described the band's latest single, "Salvation" as a reflection of some universal, yet profound emotional themes.
"Salvation embraces the belief in a higher power and seeking forgiveness for a lifetime of transgression, typically prompted by the approach of death or a significant crisis."
As for the upcoming Australian shows, fans have a lot to look forward to. Paradise Lost has earned a reputation for being a captivating live act, and audiences can likely expect deep cuts from Paradise Lost's storied catalogue, offering longtime and new fans alike a broad taste of the band’s evolution.
Here is the complete list of Paradise Lost's October 2026 Australian Tour Dates:
• Sun, Oct. 18 — Brisbane (The Triffid)
• Mon, Oct. 19 — Sydney (The Factory)
• Tue, Oct. 20 — Melbourne (Max Watts)
