Platform sandals are ready to tackle all your summer outings. They offer the same comfort as sneakers while allowing your feet to breathe, and lengthen your legs like heels would without compromising comfort. If you’re looking for a pair that you can wear to the beach and just as easily run errands in, the Crocs Baya Platform Slide Sandals at Walmart are definitely worth checking out.

There’s no better time than right now to snag these Crocs platform sandals because they’re currently on sale for less than $35! Normally retailing for $45, they’re now marked down to just $30. These sandals are available in six styles, including five solid colors (barely pink, black, chai, hot blush, and white) and one leopard print version. Sizes range from 4 to 12, and shoppers noted they fit true to size.

These sandals are an elevated take on Crocs’ iconic Baya Clogs. They’re entirely made of the same foam that’ll cushion your feet with every step. With a 1.2-inch platform, they offer even more cushioning compared to the average slides. They’ll give you a bit of height without sacrificing stability or comfort. While they have a chunky appearance, the foam is very lightweight. They’re ideal for all-day wear as they won’t weigh you down.

Designed to prevent your feet from fatigue, these sandals will absorb the impact of your steps and take pressure off your joints. The foam is flexible, so it follows the natural movements of your feet. Additionally, several shoppers raved about how they provide great arch support and deliver lasting comfort. One reviewer said these sandals felt “like walking on air,” and a second customer added that the soles were “thick and bouncy.” A third customer called them “the most supportive and comfortable shoes ever.”

Attesting to their comfort, a reviewer mentioned that they were able to easily wear these sandals for five days straight through the Disney parks. Another customer said that they walked 10,000 steps with these sandals and didn’t experience any pain!

The straps double as playful and decorative accents. One strap features a cutout of the Crocs logo while the other is equipped with three holes, where you can insert Jibbitz (charms that are designed to fit in any Crocs shoes). Jibbitz are a great way to show off your personality and add some fun accents to your shoes. If you want to decorate your sandals, you can check out a few options here

‘90s Country Icon Toby Keith Honored With Warm Home State Tribute From Luke Combs Two Years After His Death

Mon, 05/11/2026 - 11:16pm

Luke Combs sure knows his way into the hearts of Okie fans! The country music superstar and two-time Entertainer of the Year winner recently performed in front of a Norman, Okla., crowd, where he entertained folks at Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium on Saturday, May 9.

But what he did before the show brought plenty of smiles as he paid a touching tribute to the late Toby Keith, who was born and raised in the Sooner State. Making a grand entrance before his set, Combs walked out wearing a white ball cap with “Toby” spread across the front. He also made his way onto the stage while backed by a recording of Keith’s beloved country classic "Should've Been a Cowboy.”

Not only that, but Combs wore the hat on his head for the entirety of his concert. Needless to say, the North Carolina native, 36, didn’t disappoint.

View this post on Instagram

Fans, who saw the moment either in concert or online, took to social media to share their appreciation for the thoughtful gesture and salute to the Big Dog Daddy.

“This gave me chills! How cool,” one fan wrote in the comments section of a video shared to Keith’s Instagram page, while another person added, "Honoring Toby Keith is a Rock Star move!!! ❤️.”

A third follower added, “Epic start to the concert.”

This isn’t Combs' first time paying homage to his musical hero. In 2024, the “Ain’t No Love In Oklahoma” hitmaker delivered a memorable take on "Should've Been a Cowboy” in Nashville, Tenn., at the Ryman Auditorium as a tribute to Keith. That moment can be viewed in the YouTube clip below.

Solely written by Keith and released in 1993, "Should've Been a Cowboy” served as the first single from the Country Music Hall of Famer’s debut self-titled album. Widely recognized as his signature song and used as a staple following Oklahoma State University’s sporting events, the tune became a massive hit, reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

Keith passed away on Feb. 5, 2024, following a brave battle with stomach cancer. He was 62.

Combs is currently on his My Kinda Saturday Night tour, which heads to Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisc., with a two-night stint on May 15-16.

Visit Luke Combs’ official website for a complete listing of tour dates.

Carrie Underwood Joins Legendary '80s Band For 'American Idol' Finale and the Internet Has Thoughts

Mon, 05/11/2026 - 11:15pm

Country charm met classic glam metal on the American Idol stage last night, but not everyone watching at home knew what to make of it.

During the three-hour American Idol 2026 finale on Monday, May 11, one of the night’s most talked-about moments came when judge Carrie Underwoodteamed up with legendary rock band Mötley Crüe for a performance of “Home Sweet Home” and “Kickstart My Heart.”

The collaboration marked yet another rock crossover moment for Underwood, who has had performances with Guns N' Roses and Papa Roach. The country star earned a standing ovation inside the studio for this one, though.

The appearance also carried a bit of full-circle history. Back in 2009, Underwood recorded her own version of “Home Sweet Home” as the farewell song for American Idol’s eighth season, making the finale duet feel especially fitting for longtime viewers.

Still, while the in-house audience loved the performance, reactions online were far more divided.

“Carrie Underwood could front Motley Crue and crush it, “ one X user shared, while another agreed, “I wish Carrie Underwood would just become the lead singer of Motley Crue and bench Vince Neil.

A third gushed, “I never thought I'd say this: Carrie Underwood singing with Motley Crue on American Idol is actually pretty good. Home Sweet Home and Kickstart My Heart.“

Others weren't so sure.

“So. Carrie Underwood and Motley Crue. Huh. Not sure i can erase that from my brain,” someone stated.

Another wrote, “Is it just me or does this Motley Crue/Carrie Underwood sound way off?”

The finale itself crowned Hannah Harper as the winner of American Idol 2026, beating out finalists Jordan McCullough and Keyla Richardson after the season-ending night. The Top 3 opened the show with Underwood’s “Champion” before taking on songs connected to mentor Alicia Keys and their hometowns.

Other finale collaborations included appearances from Brad Paisley, Shinedown, Nelly, Tori Kelly, and more.

2000s Rap Icon's Dramatic Physical Transformation Draws Attention

Mon, 05/11/2026 - 11:02pm

DJ Khaled is making headlines for his surprising reveal.

The chart-topping rapper is once again in the spotlight, this time not because of his music but because of his noticeably different look.

The musician’s latest social media post has caught fans by surprise after revealing a dramatic weight loss transformation, quickly sparking widespread attention online.

In a recent TikTok post, the “I'm on One” hitmaker proudly showed off a slimmer physique, a look that is far different from his earlier days in his music career, when he usually dressed in baggy clothes to hide his much fuller build.

DJ Khaled performs at the Concert Series before Game Two of the 2024 Stanley Cup Final between the Edmonton Oilers and the Florida Panthers at Amerant Bank Arena on June 10, 2024 in Sunrise, Florida.

Now, despite rocking a light blue jacket and baggy pants, DJ Khaled’s weight loss is clearly noticeable, with his slimmer frame visibly standing out.

The comment section was filled with positive reactions from fans admiring the musician’s latest change.

“Khaled, you looking healthy and healthy family too. Keep it up,” one wrote.

“Ohhhh nooo dj where did the belly goo,” another playfully asked.

One fan pointed out that he not only lost a lot of weight but looked youthful, noting, “You look great, you've lost a lot of weight, you look much younger.”

TikTok users were also calling him a new nickname.

“Slim Jim is killing it,” a commenter said.

“DJ Slimmmm,” a follower echoed.

The same applied to another who mentioned, “Wow, you look amazing, respectfully, Dj Slim Shady now.”

In 2023, the Grammy-winning rapper started incorporating physical activities into his daily routine and has been playing golf as a hobby, which allowed him to lose 15 lbs.

"Some people go to yoga, some people go to the gym. And I love everybody's choices," he told People. "Because I've been to yoga, I've been to the gym, but I play golf and it's been working for me. I love the game and I love what it's doing for me to move my body. I'm more flexible. That wasn't even me going into golf thinking I'm trying to get rid of weight. It naturally happened."

From golf to more consistent movement, he gradually added walking and jogging three to five miles into his routine, which contributed to his most visible progress.

Earlier this year, he posted a clip joking about the nickname Slim Jim after dropping from a size 3XL to an XL.

Alt-R&B Singer Cast as Jazz Age Icon in Major New Biopic

Mon, 05/11/2026 - 10:46pm

FKA Twigs is set to portray Jazz Age singer Josephine Baker in an upcoming biopic.

The untitled film aims to tell the legacy of the cabaret performer. She was born in 1906 and grew up in St. Louis before running away. She eventually moved to Paris, where she rose to stardom.

Baker is known for her performance at the Folies Bergère music hall, wearing a skirt made of 16 bananas. This show became a major turning point in her career. In 1927, she became the first Black woman to star in a major motion picture. She continued her dancing, acting, and singing career in films such as Zou Zou (1934) and Princesse Tam-Tam (1935)

Her impact grew beyond performances. The singer joined the French Resistance during World War II and became an important voice for the American Civil Rights Movement in the 1950s and 1960s.

Soon, her story will reach the big screen.

According to Variety, Twigs (born Tahliah Debrett Barnett) had been in negotiations to star in Baker’s biopic before officially being cast.

“I am honored to collaborate with the immensely talented Maïmouna Doucouré on this incredible project,” Twigs said in a statement on Monday, May 11. “I cannot wait to embody Josephine Baker bringing her fight, her love, her losses, her talent and her heroism to the big screen.”

The Grammy Award-winning singer had her acting debut with the 2019 film HoneyBoy. Since then, she has appeared in The Crow (2024) and Mother Mary (2026).

Twigs’ first album was released in 2014. She is known for genre-bending with her main styles ranging between alternative R&B and electronic. Her most popular songs include “cellophane,” "Two Weeks," and “oh my love.”

The singer is ready to share Baker’s story.

“Josephine Baker’s extraordinary legacy is such an inspiration to me and to so many people around the world. She lives on in our hearts as a visionary, groundbreaking woman whose story is as powerful as it is relevant today," the actress said.

The film is being developed with the support of Baker’s sons, Jean-Claude Bouillon Baker and Brian Bouillon Baker, along with the Rainbow tribe, which is what she called her 12 adopted children.

Maimouna Doucouré will write, produce, and direct the movie.

“Josephine Baker has lived with me for years. Working on this film, I realize how modern, fearless and complex she was,” Doucouré said. “Beyond the legend, I want to explore her contradictions, her wounds and her immense courage, as well as her relentless fight for dignity.”

The filmmaker added, “With the extraordinary FKA Twigs bringing her rare artistry, intelligence and emotional depth to the role, it is a huge honour to work with Studiocanal to bring Josephine’s story to the screen for a global audience: the story of a woman who never stopped reinventing herself and fighting for justice and equality.”

There is currently no release date for the film.

The holiday marks Savannah’s first Mother’s Day since Nancy’s disappearance on February 1. Nancy was last seen on the evening of January 31 near her home in Tucson, Arizona, prompting an ongoing search effort that Savannah and her family have continued to publicly support in the months since.

After taking time away from Today amid the family crisis, Savannah returned to the morning show in April, where she was visibly emotional over the support she received from viewers and colleagues.

Meghan Markle Shares Adorable New Disney Photos With Prince Harry, Lilibet and Archie

Mon, 05/11/2026 - 10:16pm

Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, shared brand-new family photos at Disney, featuring Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, and their children, Prince Archie of Sussex and Princess Lilibet of Sussex. The photos also include Markle's mother, Doria Ragland.

The carousel of photos, which was shared to Markle's official Instagram account, include shots of the family surrounded by Mickey Mouse balloons, walking through the park with Mickey Mouse hats and meeting various Disney characters, including the princesses Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty.

The carousel hilariously ends with an image of Markle, Prince Harry, Archie and Lilibet standing in front of Darth Vader and a few stormtroopers, and it looks like Lilibet was less than enthusiastic about that development, as she appears to be hiding from the characters behind her dad.

View this post on Instagram

As has been consistently true of Markle's Instagram over the last several months, although she is sharing images of her kids, she only posts photos that do not show their faces, with very little exception. In the Disney photos, all the images posted are either taken from behind the family members or obscure the kids' faces in some other way.

This decision to keep Archie and Lilibet's faces out of the public eye has always been in stark contrast to how the British Royal Family typically operates when it comes to press and media. As Prince Harry has spoken about multiple times, when he was young, it was the expectation that he was going to be photographed—something that he has consistently expressed unhappiness over.

With their move to the United States in 2020, the Sussexes were making it clear that they were going to be breaking with certain royal traditions, and among them has certainly been the notion that their children's images should be shared with the public. Archie and Lilibet are now seven and four years old (almost five, in June), respectively, and neither has been seen by the public very often.

However, as Archie lived much of his first year of life in the United Kingdom, with his parents as working royals, his image was much more public when he was an infant.

But first, the Top 3 had to sing for the final time on the American Idol stage. They opened the show with a performance of “Champion” by Carrie Underwood, and then each performed twice: an Alicia Keys song, who mentored them, and a song that was a tribute to their hometown.

Then there were the hometown visits: Hannah to Willow Springs, MO; Keyla to Pensacola, FL; and Jordan to Murfreesboro and Nashville, TN.

Country Star Cancels Upcoming Shows, Citing Mental Health Struggles, Announces Plans to ‘Rest’ and ‘Seek Support’

Mon, 05/11/2026 - 9:55pm

Being a touring artist is undoubtedly demanding, and after putting his health on the back burner for some time, Tayler Holder is ready to step back and focus on himself.

On Monday, May 11, the rising country star, 28, who first gained fame on TikTok, took to Instagram announcing his decision to cancel his 2026 tour dates.

Addressing his message to his “fans, friends, and everyone who planned to' see him in concert," Holder wrote, “This is one of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make, but I need to cancel my upcoming shows.”

View this post on Instagram

Despite the decision being painful, Holder reasoned that he had been dealing with an ongoing, “constant struggle” with his “mental health.” Those months have caused him to reach his “limit” to the point where he can “no longer” ignore his battle.

“Over the past several months, I’ve been in a constant struggle with my mental health in ways that I can no longer ignore. I’ve tried for a while now to put my head down and just push through this and give everything I have to the music and the people who support me, but truthfully, I’ve reached my limit right now, and I need to take a step back and focus on getting healthy,” he wrote.

He went on to say, “I’m doing everything I’ve ever dreamed of, and I still feel so lonely, still feel so unfulfilled. Performing for you guys is the greatest privilege of my life, and this decision was not made lightly. I know many of you made plans, spent money, and were looking forward to these nights together. And I’m deeply sorry for the disappointment this causes.”

With his time off, Holder shared that he plans to “rest, seek support, and reconnect with myself away from the pressure and pace of touring.”

“My hope is that this break will allow me to return stronger, healthier, and able to give you guys the performances you deserve,” he added. “Thank you for your patience, compassion, and support. It means more than you’ll ever know. Please take care of yourselves and each other. Talk to y’all soon.”

Holder didn’t immediately reveal which dates he would be canceling, as his official website still has shows currently listed. Fans should refer to Holder’s webpage as well as his social media pages for any additional updates.

This lineup reflects FIFA’s goal of blending music, culture, and football into one shared global experience. The ceremony is part of a larger opening series across all three host nations: Mexico, the United States and Canada.

FIFA noted that the ceremonies will “bring together music, culture and football in a way that reflects both the individuality of each nation and the unity that defines this tournament.”

Among the biggest names in the lineup is Maná, the iconic Mexican pop-rock band formed in 1981. Known for their global success and influence in Latin rock, Maná has sold over 45 million records worldwide and is considered one of the most successful Latin American bands of all time.

The group—led by vocalist Fher Olvera, drummer Alex González, bassist Juan Calleros, and guitarist Sergio Vallín, rose to international fame with hits like “Oye Mi Amor,” “Rayando el Sol” and “Vivir Sin Aire.”

Maná’s inclusion in the World Cup ceremony adds a nostalgic ‘90s rock presence to an event otherwise filled with modern global pop and urban music stars.

The Mexico City ceremony will serve as the first of three coordinated celebrations across North America. After Mexico’s kickoff, Toronto and Los Angeles will host their own opening shows in the following days.

Each ceremony will begin 90 minutes before match kickoff and is designed as part of a shared creative theme, while still highlighting each host nation’s identity. In Mexico, the concept will feature traditional cultural elements such as papel picado, a decorative art form representing celebration and heritage.

The tournament itself will be the largest World Cup ever held, featuring 104 matches across 16 host cities in Mexico, the United States and Canada. The final will take place on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New York/New Jersey.

What Were the Challenges on 'Top Chef' Season 23 Episode 10?

The Quickfire Challenge this week was the iconic mise en place race. The first part was a team event (first team to 3 wins would win) where the winning team's members got the chance to cook for the individual win. Laurence, as the winner of last week's elimination challenge, got a fast-pass to the individual portion. The teams were:

Team Blue: Sherry, Jonathan and Anthony
Team Red: Sieger, Duyen and Rhoda

The rounds were:

  1. Seed and peel a pint of Scuppernong grapes (the state fruit of North Carolina. The teams put up Jonathan vs Sieger, with Jonathan winning, though Sieger could've called check and possibly been ruled that he had completed a full pint and he didn't.
  2. Peel and de-vein 12 shrimp. The teams put up Duyen vs Sherry, with Duyen winning, so the teams were tied 1-1.
  3. Crack and pick an ounce of pecans. The teams put up Jonathan vs Sieger again, with Sieger winning, though Jonathan could have called check and wasn't paying attention to the scale.
  4. Shuck and kernel five ears of corn. The teams put up Anthony vs Rhoda, with Rhoda winning, which means the team race is over.

The individual challenge was that they could cook any dish they wanted, but it had to feature the four items they just worked with (grapes, shrimp, pecans and corn) and they only had 20 minutes. The favorite dishes were Duyen's soup and Rhoda's salad, with the winner declared Rhoda for her first Quickfire win and $10,000.

The Elimination Challenge tasked the chefs with having a fishing derby since Green Pond landing is the site of the annual Bassmaster Classic. They got 60 minutes to catch fish, with advantages being awarded for smallest fish, largest fish and total caught. They also were given a few fish from professional anglers so that they would have fish to prepare for the challenge in case they came up completely empty during their fishing derby.

The advantages went to:

  • Smallest fish: Duyen, who earned an extra $5 for shopping
  • Most caught: Duyen, who earned an extra $50 for shopping
  • Largest fish: Jonathan, who earned 30 extra minutes of cook time

The chefs who didn't catch any fish got three spotted bass from their professional anglers. And Duyen had so much extra money that she actually purchased a few ingredients for her competitors with the money she didn't need.

The top dishes went to Rhoda, Anthony, Jonathan and Laurence, with the winning dish going to Laurence (AGAIN) for his Cantonese steamed fish with ginger, scallions, fried leeks, rice and bok choy.

The bottom dishes were from Duyen and Sieger, with Duyen being sent home for her severely undercooked fish. She prepared "Canh Chua," which is a Vietnamese hot and sour soup with fish, pineapple, tomatoes and bok choy.

It's a bit shocking to see her go, she's been such a strong competitor. I'm super bummed that she's out of the competition, I really like Duyen.

Next week: It's Swamp Rabbit Trail time and Sherry and Tom Colicchio might be butting heads.

Top Chef airs Monday nights at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.

1966 Pop Hit That Topped the Charts for Seven Weeks Was First Written With a Country Music Legend in Mind

Mon, 05/11/2026 - 9:26pm

One of the catchiest pop hits of the 1960s wasn't originally meant for the made-for-TV band that turned it into a No. 1 smash. Neil Diamond wrote "I'm a Believer" while working at music publisher Sunbeam Music in 1966 and first envisioned country star Eddy Arnold recording it.

Neil Diamond's Country Vision

In 1966, Diamond was a working New York songwriter on the verge of his own solo breakthrough. His single "Cherry, Cherry" reached the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 in October 1966, introducing him to a wider audience as a performer. Around that time, he wrote "I'm a Believer" with Eddy Arnold, the country crooner behind hits like "Make the World Go Away," in mind.

From Sunbeam Music to The Monkees

Don Kirshner, the music supervisor for the made-for-TV band The Monkees, had a different plan. He brought the song to the group, who recorded it with producer Jeff Barry and Micky Dolenz on lead vocals. The made-for-TV pop band, formed for the NBC sitcom that premiered in September 1966, was already a chart force by the time the single dropped.

A Seven-Week No. 1 Run

Released in November 1966, "I'm a Believer" was certified platinum within two days and racked up more than 1 million advance orders. The single topped the Billboard Hot 100 for the week ending Dec. 31, 1966, and stayed at No. 1 for seven weeks. It went on to become the biggest-selling single of 1967, eventually moving more than 10 million copies worldwide.

Diamond released his own version on his 1967 album Just for You, the same year The Monkees' recording finished its run atop the chart. The song has since been covered by acts across genres and reentered the Top 10 decades later through a famous animated-film cover.

1992 Top-Ranked Video Game's Realistic Graphics Sparked Political Debate

Mon, 05/11/2026 - 9:22pm

Video games these are realistic beyond our wildest dreams — although fans have been saying that about next-gen releases for decades.

Take Mortal Kombat, for example. When the original installment was released in 1992, gamers far and wide praised the fighting game for its incredible realistic depictions of violence and fatalities.

The launch of Mortal Kombat for home consoles by Acclaim Entertainment was one of the largest video-game launches of all time. All four home versions — SNES, Genesis, Game Boy and Game Gear — were released on September 13, 1993, otherwise known as "Mortal Monday."

View this post on Instagram

In fact, the ultimately controversial release ultimately caught the eye of U.S. politicians. According to the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, Senator Joe Lieberman put together a case presented to the media in 1993 arguing that the lack of regulation of the video game industry — particularly how easy it was for children to access violent video games like Mortal Kombat — opened the door for dire consequences in child development.

The result of the new-found media attention surrounding video games was the implementation of the ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) in 1994. As gamers might well known, it was designed to not only rate video games from “Early Childhood” and “Everyone” to “Mature” and “Adults Only 18+," but also provide advertising guidelines for how particular games should be marketed through media channels.

More than 30 years later, the live-action Mortal Kombat film franchise is still going strong, with the sequel currently competing with another follow-up — The Devil Wears Prada 2 — at the box office. While the Meryl Streep starrer still led the charge this past weekend with $43 million, Mortal Kombat II launched impressively with $40 million, Variety reports. The R-rated fighting movie has a 65% average critics' rating on Rotten Tomatoes average and “B” grade on CinemaScore exit polls.

1978 One-Hit Wonder Ranked as Having the 'Best Opening Line in a Song' Was Written in 15 Minutes

Mon, 05/11/2026 - 9:20pm

Years after his death, Warren Zevon was described by Bob Dylan as a "musician's musician" (and a "tortured" one at that). Dylan's admiration for Zevon is so great that he's even covered some of the late Rock and Roll Hall of Famer's songs live, including ”Accidentally Like a Martyr," "Lawyers, Guns and Money" and "Mutineer" — but he apparently never performed his own version of Zevon's biggest hit of all time, "Werewolves of London."

Interestingly enough, Zevon himself was surprised when "Werewolves of London" was a huge success. As George Plasketes wrote in Warren Zevon: Desperado of Los Angeles, the song started out as a joke: After watching the 1935 movie Werewolf of London on late-night TV, Phil Everly suggested Zevon write a song inspired by the film. Zevon took the idea to LeRoy Marinell and Waddy Wachtel, both members of his band, and the trio wrote "Werewolves of London" together in a 15-minute session.

Zevon, who later called the track a "dumb song for smart people," didn't want "Werewolves of London" released as the debut single from his 1978 album, Excitable Boy, but the record label insisted...and the decision paid off.

"Werewolves of London" (which happens to feature Fleetwood Mac's Mick Fleetwood and John McVie on drums and bass, respectively) became Zevon's only top 40 hit, peaking at #21 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2004, BBC Radio 2 listeners ranked the track as having the "best opening song line" of all time:

"I saw werewolf with a Chinese menu in his hand / Walking through the streets of SoHo in the rain / He was looking for the place called Lee Ho Fooks / For to get a big dish of beef chow mein"

Warren Zevon thought of 'Werewolves of London' as a sort of 'novelty' song

Years later, Zevon called "Werewolves of London" a novelty song, but "not a novelty the way, say, Steve Martin's 'King Tut' is a novelty."

He also took issue with the public perception that "Werewolves of London" was massively successful, saying, "I don’t think it was as big a hit as people think it was."

"People remember it from year to year more — it’s been in movies and it gets trotted out regularly — but it’s not as if it sold four million copies, like a Paula Abdul single, you know what I mean?" Zevon quipped.

It might not be "Opposites Attract," but "Werewolves of London" is definitely one of the funniest and most beloved songs in rock history.

Nancy Guthrie Update: Brian Entin Addresses 'Twist' in Case

Mon, 05/11/2026 - 9:17pm

Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie‘s mother, Nancy Guthrie, has been missing for 100 days—and reporter Brian Entin just addressed a "twist" in the investigation.

On Monday, May 11, the NewsNation senior national correspondent shared the latest on Nancy's case on Brian Entin Investigates, in an episode titled, "Another twist in Nancy Guthrie investigation—are they really getting closer? Day 100."

🎬 SIGN UP for Parade’s Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬

Entin referenced a recent video published by Fox News Digital, during which a reporter asked Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos for an update on the 84-year-old's case outside the sheriff's department.

He recounted, "They asked, 'Are you any closer to solving the case?' and it was kind of like an awkward moment, an awkward exchange, but he responded, 'We are.' And then he got into his Corvette, and he drove off."

Entin then revealed, "I thought that was interesting because my sources close to the investigation, sadly, have been telling me that they are not much closer in terms of solving the case."

Additionally, he pointed out, "Now, that doesn't mean they're not doing a ton of work behind the scenes, I mean, just like working all day, every day, tracking down every possible tip. But I don't get the sense that, from my sources, that they're getting much closer."

To conclude his thoughts on the topic, Entin acknowledged, "Again, there are still tips coming in every day. There were thousands and thousands of tips initially, and more tips that come in. And it's not a cold case, but it's just interesting that the sheriff said that they're getting closer. That's not exactly what I'm hearing."

He added, "Hopefully, that changes. I mean, it can literally change in a second. DNA evidence, a hot tip could come in—it could change all of that."

Later in the episode, Entin also addressed the Pima County Supervisors Board's push to remove Nanos from office.

Nancy was last seen at her Catalina Foothills residence on the evening of Jan. 31, with her family reporting her missing on Feb. 1. Since then, the FBI released video and still images of a masked man on Nancy’s front porch, and Savannah offered a $1 million reward. No suspect has been named, as of writing.
