The official start of the NFL season is just around the corner, but football fanatics know that the preseason has already begun. Kicking off Little Caesars’ “Officially Delicious” promotions is the Pizza!Pizza! deal, which offers guests two large 1-topping pizzas for $4.99 each with the offer code PIZZAPIZZA. The deal is available for online orders from Aug. 17 to Sept. 13.

The Pizza!Pizza! deal will also be the first of Little Caesars’ star-studded ad spots this season, with Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson (or Dr. J. Jefferson, according to the spot) appearing in a brand-new commercial celebrating the return of this deal.

Jefferson’s commercial will be followed by ad spots from Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff and San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle later in the season. Little Caesars’ Pizza!Pizza! Pregame, which offers guests the opportunity to earn rewards by ordering Little Caesars, is also coming back. Starting on Sept. 9, guests can complete Pizza!Pizza! Pregame challenges on the app on NFL game days for the chance to earn Little Caesars rewards.

In addition to these NFL star appearances, Little Caesars’ events and promotions for the 2026 NFL season will include specialized in-game activations, digital promotions and other content with 12 new teams, including the New York Giants, Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay Packers and more, thereby doubling its local team partnerships to 21 teams nationwide. Returning team partners include the Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles, Tennessee Titans and more.

Additionally, new Little Caesars concessions will be coming to the Baltimore Ravens, Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars home stadiums.

The Little Caesars Love Kitchen® will also open on Sept. 8 in Seattle, offering hot pizza to those in need.

Hayden Panettiere’s autopsy results have revealed new details about the actress’s death at age 36.

Panettiere’s autopsy found no signs of trauma that contributed to her death, according to the Greenville County Coroner’s Office. The coroner’s office also said Panettiere was found unresponsive and in cardiac arrest when first responders arrived at the South Carolina residence on Sunday, Aug. 16.

Emergency personnel initiated advanced cardiac life support measures, but resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful, and she was pronounced dead at 2:32 p.m. Her official cause and manner of death remain pending as officials conduct additional studies and toxicology testing.

Earlier reports of a possible overdose came from the 911 call and have not been confirmed as her cause of death. Police have also said there were no signs of foul play or suspicious circumstances.

The Heroes and Nashville star was found unresponsive at a home in Greenville, South Carolina, on Sunday, Aug. 16. Her death was confirmed by her representative on behalf of her father, Skip Panettiere.

The autopsy is expected to clarify Panettiere’s medical cause of death, while the coroner’s determination of the manner of death will indicate whether the death was classified as natural, accidental, suicide, homicide or undetermined.

Earlier reports referenced a possible overdose in connection with the 911 call made after Panettiere was found unresponsive. However, those initial reports did not establish an official cause of death. The autopsy and toxicology findings are the information that can determine whether drugs or other substances contributed to her death.

Police said officers responded at approximately 1:50 p.m. Sunday to a report of an unresponsive woman. An acquaintance of Panettiere’s made the 911 call, and emergency medical personnel attempted lifesaving measures. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Greenville Police Department previously said its preliminary investigation found no signs of foul play or suspicious circumstances. The case was being investigated with the Greenville County Coroner’s Office.

Panettiere became a household name as Claire Bennet on Heroes before starring as country singer Juliette Barnes on Nashville. She also appeared in the Scream franchise, including Scream VI in 2023.

She was candid about her struggles with addiction and postpartum depression in her 2026 memoir, This Is Me: A Reckoning. Those experiences should not be assumed to have contributed to her death unless confirmed by the coroner.

Her final movie, Sleepwalker, was released in January 2026. Panettiere played Sarah Pangborn and also served as an executive producer on the psychological thriller.

Panettiere died just days before her 37th birthday on Aug. 21.

Hayden Panettiere has died and we’re learning new details about her final days.

According to TMZ, the Heroes actress flew to “the south” with Brian Hickerson, whom she has dated on-and-off since 2018, on Saturday, Aug. 15. The next day, she was found unresponsive inside an apartment and a friend called 911. Despite life-saving efforts, Panettiere was pronounced dead at the scene.

“The preliminary investigation has not indicated any signs of foul play or suspicious circumstances. An acquaintance of Ms. Panettiere placed the 911 call,” the Greenville Police Department said in a statement to People magazine.

Hickerson may have been one of the last people to spend time with Panettiere before she died. Here’s what you need to know about him.

Hickerson grew up in South Carolina but moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in real estate development and in acting, according to Page Six. It seems as though he only has one credit to his name, however, a small role in the 2017 thriller, M.F.A., which stared Francesca Eastwood.

He graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in business, management, marketing, and related support services.

A LinkedIn profile that appears to belong to Hickerson lists his current job as an executive assistant for a “high profile confidential client”—a role he’s had since 2018.

“Manage entire residence overseeing and coordinating with household staff and vendors. Provide 24/7 on call support. Provide IT security as well as physical security during travel and public appearances. Maintenance for all indoor and outdoor security equipment and technology. Coordinate all travel plans including hotels, flights domestic and international, car service, helicopter shuttle, dining and any other requested accommodations,” the job description reads, in part.

“Manage daily schedule and social media profile for celebrity with over 1 million followers on Instagram and 800K+ followers on Twitter. Travel with client domestically and internationally,” it concludes.

His previous employers are listed as the Adams & Martin Group and Realty Mogul.

The LinkedIn profile indicates that Hickerson is currently “open to work.”

According to Newsweek, Hickerson’s name appears alongside Panettiere’s on her LexisNexis records, suggesting the two were roommates at her West Hollywood apartment, located on Hancock Ave.

Hickerson and Panettiere met in 2018 following her split from Wladimir Klitschko, with whom she shares daughter, Kaya.

The actress’ romance with Hickerson can only be described as turbulent. The relationship was marked by domestic violence allegations that landed Hickerson in jail more than once. He was arrested in 2019, 2020, and in 2021.

“I am coming forward with the truth about what happened to me with the hope that my story will empower others in abusive relationships to get the help they need and deserve,” she said following one of Hickerson’s arrests in 2020, according to People. “I am prepared to do my part to make sure this man never hurts anyone again. I’m grateful for my support system, which helped me find the courage to regain my voice and my life.”

She and Hickerson broke up, officially, in 2022, but have remained friends.

A few months before she died, Panettiere released her first memoir, This Is Me: A Reckoning. On the inside pages, the Nashville star opened up about her career, her battles with postpartum depression and addiction, and her relationship with Hickerson. She wrote about the physical and emotional abuse that she experienced throughout their relationship.

In an interview with TMZ earlier this year, Hickerson admitted abusing Panettiere and supported the release of her book, saying, “I think it’s great. I think everyone should read it. I mean, the domestic violence stuff my chapter, everybody should read it.”

On a May 2026 episode of Jay Shetty’s On Purpose podcast, Panettiere opened up about her past relationship.

She described the abuse as a cycle that was difficult to escape. She said the physical abuse could seemingly happen without warning, particularly when her partner was drinking, and compared his sudden changes in behavior to a “Dr. Jekyll Mr. Hyde situation.”

“We could be dancing and joking, and then a switch would flip and suddenly it was on,” she said. “Something would snap and it was like watching a predator suddenly smell blood.”

As dozens of tributes continue pouring in for Hayden Panettiere following the actress’s shocking death at just 36-years-old, CBS Mornings’ Gayle King is sharing her own emotional memories of the late Heroes actress.

Opening this morning’s show with the news of Panettiere’s passing, King reflected on her final interview with the Bring It On star, referring to Panettiere’s appearance back in May to promote her memoir, This Is Me: A Reckoning.

“It was hard when she was here that day,” King said of the interview, specifically emphasizing the difficult talking points Panettiere brought up in her book, including lengthy battles with alcoholism, addiction and ailing mental health.

“When she was here in the studio that day, and I was talking to her off-camera, she was saying she felt that she was in a good place,” King continued.

“But she was still, clearly still struggling. To wake up to hear this news was really tough,” the anchor went on to say. “She was so good. She would’ve turned 37 on Friday.”

According to People magazine, Panettiere’s cause of death has yet to be confirmed. As per the outlet, officials with the Greenville Police Department said in a statement that police and EMS staff responded to an emergency 911 call at around 1:50 p.m. EST this past Sunday.

“Upon arrival, medical assistance was administered; however, the individual, later identified as Hayden Panettiere, was pronounced deceased at the scene,” the spokesperson for the department said.

“The case is under investigation by the Greenville Police Department in conjunction with the Greenville County Coroner’s Office,” the spokesperson added. “The preliminary investigation has not indicated any signs of foul play or suspicious circumstances. An acquaintance of Ms. Panettiere placed the 911 call.”

During her discussion with King, Panettiere discussed a variety of extremely personal topics, and that “still working on myself all the time… I’m better, healthier than I’ve been in a long time.”

During a May interview on Today With Jenna & Sheinelle, Berry reflected on the milestone birthday and how she felt about it.

“Great, because, you know, the opposite would be tragic if I weren’t here,” she explained.

However, Berry also admitted, “I feel different than I thought I would feel at 60. What is 60? What is age anymore? It’s a feeling.”

The Hollywood icon later added, “I’m still alive in it. I haven’t gone off into the sunset. I haven’t fallen off. I’m still here doing it on my own terms.”

When Whitney Houston was recording one of her now-beloved songs, little did she know it would be extra special thanks to the surprise inclusion of her daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown‘s vocals.

“I had her do that outside. Her mom ain’t even know she did that,” producer Wyclef Jean said of Brown’s voice featured in Houston’s “My Love Is Your Love” during an interview on a recent podcast episode of One54.

The famed producer went on to explain that while Houston was singing the song in the recording booth, her daughter, unprompted, said “Sing mommy!” and Jean decided to capture the moment.

“I looked at my engineer, and I was like, “Get the mic,'” he recalled. “And I said, ‘What did you just say, girl?’ She was like, ‘Sing, mommy,’ and then I had it recorded, and I saved it.”

Jean explained that he kept the moment a surprise and didn’t show Houston the final product, with her young daughter on it, until the song was finished.

“[She] was just cheek to cheek, you know?” he said of Houston’s reaction. “Because her whole existence is for her daughter. Her whole existence, her whole living … And then she hears her daughter on a record saying, ‘Sing, mommy.’ That’s all she lives for.”

The song, which was the title track for Houston’s fourth album, released in 1998, went on to peak at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 list in 2000, according to Billboard. The record, also included “It’s Not Right but It’s Okay,” which earned her a Grammy for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance.

Other tracks on the album were “Heartbreak Hotel” and “When You Believe.”

At the time of recording the album, Brown was around 4 or 5 years old, having been born in 1993.

Following Houston’s death in 2012 at age 48, Brown died in 2015 at the age of 22 due to lobar pneumonia. Similar to her mother, she was found immersed in a bathtub with drugs in her system, according to ABC News.

Houston shared her daughter with ex-husband, singer Bobby Brown, 57.

Hayden Panettiere was found dead inside a luxury apartment complex in Greenville, South Carolina—and one of her neighbors was “shocked” to hear the news.

“I don’t know that she was there long, and I’m not sure she even ever left the apartment,” a tenant at Judson Mill Lofts told Page Six on Monday, Aug. 17. “I can only speak for myself, but you know, I never saw her [and] I haven’t spoken to anyone else that said they have,” the neighbor continued, adding that she believed the apartment was an Airbnb rental.

“The apartment complex has sent out a couple messages saying it wasn’t anything criminal and that there’s no reason for anyone to be scared or anything like that,” the unnamed source continued.

“It’s still kind of jarring to hear that someone of her stature was here and then that tragically happened to her,” the neighbor added. “The coroner vehicle showed up and of course, I knew then that there was a death. Then woke up this morning to hear that it was Hayden, which is just still shocking.”

The neighbor also noted that there were two men who were sitting outside of the apartment with police, noting that they looked like they were in shock.

Panettiere was found dead on Sunday, Aug. 16. According to TMZ, she had flown from Los Angeles “to the south” with her ex, Brian Hickerson. She was reportedly found dead inside the apartment by a “friend” who called 911 claiming that someone had gone into “cardiac arrest” and was “unresponsive.”

An investigation into Panettiere’s cause of death is underway.

With summertime comes a whole lot of nuptials. If you attended any good ones, you may have caught yourself saying, “Best wedding ever.”

Meanwhile, we’ve all heard the staggering numbers when it comes to divorce rates — but sometimes it’s for the best, as they say. In fact, there’s a new movie coming out called Best Divorce Ever.

And none other than Amy Schumer is the star and producer of the new break-up comedy from writer-director Sean Mullin (Bob Trevino Likes It, Amira & Sam), Variety reports.

“Divorce has a branding problem,” said Mullin, 51, whose script was inspired by his owned amicable divorce, per Variety on Monday, August 15. “I think we need to change the narrative that the only successful way to end a marriage is for one person to die.”

Here’s the film’s synopsis, according to Variety. “Best Divorce Ever follows Clarissa (Schumer) and Franklin, who after 20 years together decide they’re done with marriage – but not with each other. Determined to pull off the world’s most amicable divorce, they throw an ‘Untying the Knot’ party and eagerly embrace their newly single lives.”

The synopsis continues, “But when disastrous dates, suspicious children and spectacularly misguided attempts at ‘conscious uncoupling’ throw their perfect plan into chaos, Clarissa and Franklin discover that getting divorced is the easy part. Figuring out how to stay a happy family is where things get complicated.”

Earlier this summer, Schumer made headlines when she highlighted her 50-pound weight loss in new vacation photos. “I never knew there would be days like this. No filter as per ushe,” Schumer captioned her photo set on Instagram, which includes shots that showed the blonde beauty sporting a mismatched bikini and robe standing on a boat.

She also wore a scuba suit as she headed to the depths of the ocean to check out the scene down there.

Mac Rebennack, aka Dr. John, was well known among music circles for years before he cut what almost became a novelty song, “Right Place, Wrong Time,” that landed him on the charts.

As a singer, songwriter, and pianist, Dr. John was an active session musician before he gained a following after releasing his album Gris-Gris in 1968. A few years later, he released his sixth studio album titled In the Right Place, with “Right Place, Wrong Time” serving as its first single in 1973. The track would end up putting Dr. John on the map.

The combination of New Orleans rhythm-and-blues and bold funk helped the song reach No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Its success also led to its being ranked the 24th-biggest hit of that year and turned Dr. John from a “musician’s musician” into a standout solo artist.

When it came to developing the album, he told Rolling Stone in 1973, “Originally, I felt to go commercial would prostitute myself and bastardize the music. On reflecting, I thought that if without messin’ up the music and keeping the roots and elements of what I want to do musically, I could still make a commercial record I would not feel ashamed from, I’m proud of, and still have a feel for – then it’s not a bad thing but it even serve a good purpose.”

He told SongFacts that the concept of “Right Place, Wrong Time” has been his “life for a long time.” The idea of being in the wrong place at the right time or the right place at the wrong time was a “problem,” as “we’re always shifting gear.”

The backstory behind the creation of the track’s lyrics was long reported not to have been created entirely by Dr. John. Having worked with multiple hit musicians over the years, Dr. John had a list of chart-topping friends in the industry. He used varied source material, with lyrics having been penned by Bob Dylan and even Bette Midler.

“Bob Dylan started it off by laying a line on me: ‘I’m on the right trip, but I’m in the wrong car,'” Dr. John wrote in Under a Hoodoo Moon. “Then Bette Midler gave me one: ‘My head’s in a bad place; I don’t know what it’s there for.’ Doug Sahm also pitched in: ‘I was in the right set, but it must have been the wrong sign.'”

The song peaked on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 33 weeks after its release, but would end up having a much longer legacy in pop culture. In 2000, it was used for the comedy film Lucky Numbers with John Travolta and Lisa Kudrow.

Years later, it was used in the hit FX series American Horror Story: Coven, and even in That 70’s Show. “Right Place, Wrong Time” would even make its way to other popular films like Dazed and Confused and Fun with Dick and Jane. Popular TV series like How I Met Your Mother used the Dr. John track for its episode of the same name, and in Fargo. Horror fans may even recognize a cover of the track in Scream 2.

Late singer and actress Hayden Panettiere once took on a Patsy Cline country classic, with a little help from another music icon.

In the wake of Panettiere’s unexpected death on Sunday, Aug. 16, we’re looking back at one of her legendary performances on the ABC series Nashville. The late star, who played country-pop star Juliette Barnes for the show’s entire six-season run, once got to sing on stage alongside Aerosmith rocker Steven Tyler while performing a rendition of Cline’s biggest hit, “Crazy.”

Panettiere and Tyler took the stage together during the first episode of Nashville‘s fourth season. In a clip from the episode, Panettiere performs as Barnes in front of a giant crowd, before a roar of applause erupts while Tyler enters the stage.

“”Hayden is a peach,” Tyler told Entertainment Weekly ahead of the episode’s premiere in September 2015. “She’s a seasoned pro, from her success on NBC’s ‘Heroes,’ she’s a true professional both while filming, recording and off set as well.”

He also confirmed at the time that they did not lip sync during their performance, and were actually singing together.

“Yes — she is that good!” he said of Panettiere. “We had to give the audience a performance. My favorite thing about filming is that I can yell, ‘CUT!’ and have a do-over if I want. There are no cuts in rock n’ roll.”

Panettiere died on Sunday, Aug. 16 at the age of 36. Her father, Skip Panettiere, confirmed the tragic news with a statement made to ABC News.

“It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden. It had been a long time since Bob Dylan had found himself as the avatar of protest music by the time 1975 rolled around. Much of the rage directed at his pivot into rock music included a feeling that a generation of young people were losing their popular political voice, as Dylan was probably the biggest factor contributing to the protest oriented folk music of the early-sixties. As it turns out it this side of Dylan was merely taking a hiatus, as his protest roots would come out dressed in their full powers for one of Dylan’s most enraged songs, “Hurricane.”

“Hurricane” details the wrongful conviction and imprisonment of boxer Rubin “Hurricane” Carter, who was found guilty of a triple homicide in an improper trial that became a massive scandal of the era. The incident in question involved a shooting that occurred in a Paterson, New Jersey bar that left three people dead. There was a general disdain for Carter, who lived in the area, and much of his conviction was upheld by the testimonies of two men who were committing a robbery nearby. Despite no forensic evidence linking Carter to the murder, he was found guilty in a heavily-biased trial.

This narrative is detailed throughout the eight minute classic Dylan would go on to write, which became one of his most revered songs, even being ranked 39th on Rolling Stone’s “100 Greatest Bob Dylan Songs” list.

Dylan would go on to tour the song at multiple benefit concerts to try and raise money for a re-trial of Carter. The public outrage generated in large part from the song’s success spawned a long road of retrials that eventually lead to Carter being released in 1985.

The story really highlights the powers music can have when wielded for good. It’s also a really great Dylan song, featuring some really great instrumentation, and a look into what Dylan’s lyrics can look like at their most straightforward and literal. It’s an important chapter in one of the greatest careers in music history.

Some songs don’t need a No. 1 ranking to earn a permanent place in rock history.

That’s certainly true of The Rolling Stones’ “Wild Horses.” Released in 1971, the haunting ballad fell short of the top of the Billboard Hot 100, yet it has become one of the band’s most enduring recordings and remains a cornerstone of classic rock more than five decades later.

The song grew out of a deeply personal moment.

Keith Richards began writing “Wild Horses” while preparing to leave home for tour shortly after the birth of his son, Marlon.

“It was one of those magical moments when things come together,” Richards wrote in his 2010 autobiography Life about the song’s genesis. “It’s like ‘Satisfaction.’ You just dream it, and suddenly it’s all in your hands. Once you’ve got the vision in your mind of wild horses, I mean, what’s the next phrase you’re going to use? It’s got to be couldn’t drag me away.”

Mick Jagger later expanded the lyrics, transforming the song into a broader meditation on love, longing, and emotional resilience.

“It’s one of Keith’s things to go in and record while you’re in the middle of a tour and your playing is in good shape,” drummer Charlie Watts said in an interview. “The Muscle Shoals Studio [where ‘Wild Horses’ was recorded] was very special, though – a great studio to work in, a very hip studio, where the drums were on a riser high up in the air, plus you wanted to be there because of all the guys who had worked in the same studio.”

Its release came with an unusual twist.

Although the Rolling Stones recorded “Wild Horses” first for their landmark album Sticky Fingers, contractual obligations meant that the Flying Burrito Brothers released the first recorded version in 1970. When the Stones’ own rendition arrived in 1971, listeners immediately embraced its country-rock influences, gentle acoustic arrangement, and one of Jagger’s most heartfelt vocal performances.

While the song peaked at No. 28 on the Billboard Hot 100, its influence far outlasted its chart run.

“Wild Horses” has become one of the Rolling Stones’ signature ballads and a staple of the band’s live performances. Over the years, it has also been interpreted by a wide range of artists spanning rock, country, folk, and Americana, underscoring the song’s remarkable versatility and emotional resonance.

Its reputation has continued to grow with time.

Frequently included on lists of the greatest Rolling Stones songs, “Wild Horses” is celebrated for revealing a softer, more introspective side of a band better known for swaggering rock anthems. Its timeless lyrics and unforgettable melody have helped introduce the song to successive generations of listeners.

“I like the song,” Jagger told Rolling Stone. “It’s an example of a pop song taking this cliché ‘wild horses,’ which is awful, really, but making it work without sounding like a cliché when you’re doing it.”

Fifty-five years after its release, “Wild Horses” remains one of the Rolling Stones’ defining achievements. Although it never climbed to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, the 1971 classic has long since earned a legacy that extends far beyond its original chart position.

Princess Eugenie has named her third baby, whom she welcomed earlier this month, partly after her late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth.

In her latest Instagram post, the first cousin to Prince William and Prince Harry announced that her daughter’s name is Adelaide Elizabeth Annina Brooksbank.

“Named after three people we love and admire past and present, including her Great-Grandmother who we hold close in our hearts,” Eugenie shared of the late queen, who died in 2022 at age 96. “Her name is part of English and Portuguese history, two places we love and call home.”

The royal, and daughter of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor (formerly Prince Andrew) and Sarah Ferguson, did not disclose the family’s connection to the names Adelaide and Annina.

She also shared that since her daughter’s birth, the family has “had the most special, ‘cosy’ and love-filled time” and that her two older sons Augie and Ernie “are already the best big brothers.”

Eugenie shares the brood of three with husband Jack Brooksbank, whom she married in 2018.

Eugenie, 36, who is 12th in line to the throne, has been able to live a much more private life than her cousins and shares her life on Instagram. She shared the news of the baby’s birth, along with a sweet hospital photo, on August 2, 2026.

The tribute signifies the relationship that Eugenie shared with her grandmother. Upon the news of the queen’s death, she posted a heartfelt tribute to the late monarch, whom she referred to as “Grannie,” showing just how close the two were.

“For now dear Grannie, all we want to say is thank you,” she wrote, in part. “Thank you for making us laugh, for including us, for picking heather and raspberries, for marching soldiers, for our teas, for comfort, for joy. You, being you, will never know the impact you have had on our family and so many people around the world.”

This isn’t the first time Queen Elizabeth has been paid tribute to in name as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s daughter, Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, was also named after the late monarch with her childhood nickname in 2021.

Lainey Wilson brought her Bell Bottom Country sound to the Iowa State Fair with a performance that’s going down in the history books.

The country darling took the stage on Sunday night, Aug. 16, packing the Grandstand with such a massive audience that it set a new attendance record.

The turnout was so large, drawing 17,360 fans to see her show, according to KCCI Des Moines, that it edged out the previous record held by another country icon—Chris Stapleton.

The outlet reports that she surpassed Stapleton’s feat achieved in 2021 by 40 fans.

Another impressive record? “This marks the largest single grandstand show since the venue was renovated in 2018,” the news outlet noted.

The performance was further proof as to why she’s one of the biggest stars in country music right now, taking home both Country Music Awards for “Entertainer of the Year” and “Female Artist of the Year” in 2025 and 2026, respectively.

Wilson swiftly built one of the most dominant careers in modern country music, bursting onto the scene in 2021 and not slowing down. 

She’s earned a total of five No. 1 hits on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart. Her chart-topping streak includes breakout solo successes like “Things a Man Oughta Know” and “Watermelon Moonshine,” along with high-profile collaborations such as “Never Say Never” with Cole Swindell and “Save Me” with Jelly Roll.

Fans were thoroughly impressed with Wilson’s achievement, taking to the comments to applaud her.

“What a true talent.👏👏👏👏👏” one wrote, as another added, “That’s my girl!! As she should!! 💖.”

Others who were in attendance called it a “great show.”

The Grammy-winner and Grand Ole Opry member played many of her hit singles at the show, opening with “Can’t Sit Still” and ending on a high note with “Heart Like a Truck,” per Setlist. FM.

She’s had a busy year, previously performing at Chicago’s Windy City Smokeout, with upcoming shows at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas on Sept. 19 and the Country Calling Festival in Ocean City, MD on Oct. 2. 

On February 19, 1980, AC/DC singer Bon Scott was found dead after reportedly choking on his own vomit, according to Ultimate Classic Rock. The singer was just 33 years old at the time of his passing, but had already left a giant mark on the rock music industry. In fact, AC/DC was really just getting started. Their sixth studio album (and global breakthrough) in 1979, Highway to Hell, officially put them on the map in the U.S., and the band had no intention of slowing down. But when they lost Scott, everything changed.

“For us, it was like losing a member of your family,” guitarist Angus Young said in an interview. “It’s very, very difficult to go through something like that. Not only is it your friend, it’s also somebody you’ve been working with all that time.”

The band was in fact already working on new material, but Scott had never made it to the studio to record it. The group ended up hiring Brian Johnson, and on July 25, 1980, Back in Black was born. The band referred to the album as a tribute to Scott, even noting little details like the tolling bells in “Hells Bells” were a nod to the former singer.

Despite the song having origins in the shadow of the former frontman, the track and album defined a new era for the band. In 2023, Guitar World ranked “Back in Black” as having one of the best guitar riffs ever, coming third out of fifty, just behind Ozzy Osbourne‘s “Crazy Train” and Led Zeppelin‘s “Whole Lotta Love.” Angus Young and Malcolm Young‘s individual influences can be heard on the now-beloved single, and it has been hailed as one of the ultimate rock songs in music history overall.

Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen said of the riff, “It has that sexy groove that hardly any rock band could get close to, amazingly restrained, confident guitars that are pure rock, outrageous drums, and a vocal meter that is almost a rap but very rock ’n’ roll. And considering the song is based on a blues format, it’s extremely original.”

“Back in Black” peaked at the No. 37 position on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, which is 10 spots higher than 1979’s “Highway to Hell” single.
