Despite the Drama in Fairmont Crest, These Two Co-Stars Prove Life on Set Is Still a ‘Vibe’
Beyond the Gates star Karla Mosley took to social media to share a behind-the-scenes look at an upcoming moment with co-star Daphnée Duplaix.
Mosley shared a photo of herself and Duplaix on set, smiling and laughing. In the caption, she wrote, “With my sissy @theonlydaphneeduplaix on set it’s always…a VIBE! @beyondthegatescbs@cbstvstudios”
View this post on InstagramOn the soap, Mosley plays Dani Dupree, while Duplaix portrays her sister, Nicole Richardson Dupree. Since the series began, both characters have been at the center of multiple storylines, but their bond remains a constant.
Dani’s storyline began quite literally with a bang, when her ex-husband Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) married his mistress Haley Lawson (Marquita Goings). Since then, Dani has moved forward, beginning a relationship with Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman), which led to a spontaneous Las Vegas elopement. She has since navigated married life while returning to her modeling career.
Meanwhile, Nicole’s life took a dramatic turn when her husband, Martin Richardson (Originally Maurice Johnson, now Keith D. Robinson), was revealed to have had a past affair with Leslie ‘Dana’ Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant). Following the fallout, Nicole has worked to rebuild her life and has recently begun dating again, balancing relationships with Dr. Carlton Fitzgerald (Robert Christopher Riley) and Dr. Kial Rollins (Greg Vaughan).
Both women are also coping with a major family development after their mother was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer. As part of the storyline, both Dani and Nicole underwent testing for BRCA gene mutations associated with increased cancer risk. Nicole received a negative result, while Dani tested positive for a mutation, meaning she will need ongoing monitoring.
Both characters are also navigating life as single parents to adult children, Dani with Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla) and Naomi (Arielle Prepetit), and Nicole with her son Martin (Brandon Claybon) and daughter Kat (Colby Nixon).

1961 One-Hit Wonder Written by a 14-Year-Old Singer Was One of John Lennon's Favorite Love Songs
While countless one-hit wonders have come and gone over the years, some super successful songs manage to carve out a permanent place in pop culture history. In the case of the early '60s classic "Angel Baby," one very famous superfan,John Lennon, made sure the chart-topping tune would never be forgotten.
Rosie Hamlin of Rosie and the Originals was just a 14-year-old aspiring singer performing for tips in a country western band when she wrote "Angel Baby," an ode to teenage romance:
"When you are near me / My heart skips a beat / I can hardly stand on / My own two feet / Because I love you / I love you, I do / Angel baby / My angel baby"
“I wrote a poem about a teenage love entitled ‘Angel Baby,'" Hamlin recalled years later, per Billboard. "We decided to record the song. One hot summer day in 1961 we piled into a car and headed out to San Marcos, CA. In those days San Marcos was out in the middle of nowhere. We finally arrived at this place that looked to us like an old barn. It was actually an old airplane hanger.”
The group recorded over 30 takes on a two-track machine. What happened next reads like something out of a '60s music biopic fantasy: A manager at Kresge’s Department Store in San Diego played the song, which got the attention of a distributor for Highland Records who was shopping that day. Within a few weeks, Hamlin heard DJ Alan Freed playing the song multiple times a day, which led to a record deal (Hamlin's mother had to sign for her because she was too young). Frustratingly, another member of the group, David Ponci, was originally crediting with writing the song, which kept Hamlin from earning royalties until she was able to prove she wrote it.
"Angel Baby" peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the week ending Jan. 29, 1961, edging out Lawrence Welk’s “Calcutta."
Store managers and DJs weren't the only people who fell in love with "Angel Baby." Lennon was one of the song's most famous and passionate fans — he even recorded the song for his Rock N’ Roll album (his version wasn’t released until the posthumous Menlove Ave. compilation album).
“This here is one of my all-time favorite songs," Lennon said during his introduction to the song. "Send my love to Rosie, wherever she may be.”
Unfortunately, as Hamlin revealed in an interview on classicbands.com, she and Lennon never actually met.
“I always wanted to, but never got the chance,” she said.
Hamlin's time in the spotlight might have been brief, but it was meaningful. She was even the first Latina to be honored by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, on their Wall of One-Hit Wonders.
Beloved '60s Musician With #1 Hits Dead at 88
In very sad news for classic rock and country music fans, Wayne Moss, the Nashville-based session musician known for his work with legends such as Bob Dylan, Dolly Parton, Roy Orbison and others, has died. He was 88 years old.
Kyle Young, CEO of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, confirmed Moss' death in a statement on social media this week.
“Wayne Moss was a guitarist of dexterous skill and sophisticated taste," the statement read. "Listen carefully to Bob Dylan’s ‘I Want You’ or Roy Orbison’s ‘Oh, Pretty Woman’ or Waylon Jennings’s ‘Only Daddy That’ll Walk the Line.’ You’ll hear innovative electric lead parts that drew attention to Nashville’s world-class musicianship."
"As a studio owner, his doors were equally wide open to pop, rock, and country music," Young continued. "Wayne was a musical torchbearer and a creative pathfinder who left his own resounding stamp on music history.”
Orbison's son, Roy Orbison Jr., also honored his late father's friend in a social media post, writing, "My dear friend, the great guitarist Wayne Moss, has died. A member of 'Nashville’s A-team' of musicians, Wayne was my dad’s good friend and played on all the Roy Orbison Monument hits."
Indeed, Moss can be heard on "Oh, Pretty Woman," "Cryin'" and "Only the Lonely," in addition to such hits as Parton's "Jolene" and Dylan's Blonde on Blonde album. He worked with Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Charley Pride and Joan Baez, and helped found two bands made up of other Nashville session players, Area Code 615 and Barefoot Jerry.
Wayne Moss founded an independent recording studio in NashvilleMoss even founded the independent recording studio, Cinderella Sound, where artists including the Steve Miller Band, Linda Ronstadt, Grand Funk Railroad and many others have recorded over the years.
As Moss said in an interview with Sound on Soundin 2011, Cinderella Sound gave musicians the privacy they couldn't find at other studios.
"We're not even in the phone book, you know?" he explained. "So unless you know somebody that knows somebody, you can't even get in here. But Steve Miller did and Ronstadt did and Leo Kottke did and a lot of folks. So we've had the business, despite the fact that you can't even find us, you know? You can't Google us or anything else, therefore there's not a Gray Line bus tour coming through here every day saying 'Is that Johnny Cash in here? I wanna get his autograph.' That drives artists crazy."
"And Steve Miller didn't want anybody in the studio that wasn't hired to play on it, and that's what he got. He wanted to engineer his own vocals? Fine, go ahead. You know? So we try to bend in whatever direction the artist wants and we've had a lot of people in here over the years."

1992 Film Called One of the ‘Best of All Time’ Turns Out to Be a Remake
If there’s one thing as sure as death and taxes, it’s that Daniel Day-Lewis does not miss. The Oscar-winning actor has a knack for elevating every project he touches, and that’s exactly what happens in The Last of the Mohicans, Michael Mann’s sweeping remake of the 1936 film of the same name.
Released in September 1992, Mann’s version is unmistakably his own, bearing little resemblance to George B. Seitz’s straightforward Old Hollywood adaptation, or even to the 1826 novel by James Fenimore Cooper, The Last of the Mohicans: A Narrative of 1757, on which both films are based. Of course, they didn’t have the X-factor that is Mr. Day-Lewis.
View this post on InstagramSporting long wavy locks, tanned chamois leather, and moccasins, the British actor stars as Hawkeye and spends the majority of the reel rescuing the woman he loves — Cora, played by Madeleine Stowe — and protecting his people amid the brutalities of the French and Indian War.
A notorious method actor, Day-Lewis was lauded for his intense dedication to the part, which included living off the land and learning to build fires from scratch. In an interview withThe New York Times, the actor’s commitment is explored further: Beyond learning to “track and skin animals, build canoes, fight with tomahawks, and fire and reload a 12-point flintlock on the run,” Day-Lewis would unwind between takes by sitting alone under a tree in the sun.
According to Stowe, the movie “was a difficult film on everyone, especially on Daniel. And he never once — not once — complained.”
What truly sets Mann’s 1992 film apart is its sweeping central romance between Hawkeye and Cora, an element largely absent from both the 1936 version and Cooper’s novel. Their chemistry, paired with the film’s soaring Celtic-tinged score by Randy Edelman and Trevor Jones, helped define the film’s emotional power and lasting appeal.
The result was an awards-season standout: The film won the Academy Award for Best Sound and earned seven BAFTA nominations, taking home two.
Today, the film endures as a cinematic essential, with Collider calling it one of the best war movies of all time more than three decades later.
As spring settles in and the outdoors come back to life, the film’s sweeping landscapes and visceral war storytelling feel newly relevant, hitting a bit differently this time of year but also still serving as a historical drama that refuses to fade.
The Last of the Mohicans is available to rent or buy on Prime Video.

Kraft Just Dropped a New Mac and Cheese Flavor Fans Say Tastes Just Like a Disneyland Favorite
It is not every day a grocery aisle snack starts sounding like something you would line up for at a Disney park. But that is exactly what is happening right now, as a new Kraft Mac and Cheese flavor begins to appear in select stores. Early buzz, surprise reactions and a whole lot of curiosity are turning this new snack into one of the most talked-about grocery finds of the season.
What has fans especially intrigued is how familiar the flavor feels. Some are saying it tastes like something they have had before at a certain theme park, while others are doing double takes at the idea of ramen-inspired mac and cheese hitting mainstream shelves. For Disney fans who love park-exclusive eats, this one might feel a little closer to home than expected.
The New Kraft Mac and Cheese Flavor Has Disney Park Vibes View this post on InstagramFood blogger @snackolator shared that the latest release from Kraft is a limited-edition Chicken Ramen Flavored Mac and Cheese, and it is already making its way into select grocery stores, including Albertsons-owned chains. Instead of the classic cheesy profile, this version leans into a savory, ramen-inspired seasoning meant to mimic the comforting taste of chicken ramen broth layered with creamy pasta.
At Disney California Adventure, ramen-style mac and cheese has already built a following as a viral festival dish, appearing at the Food and Wine Festival in 2026. That is exactly why this new Kraft snack is getting so much attention from Disney fans who recognize the flavor profile right away.
Social reactions so far have been mixed but mostly curious. Some early tasters describe it as surprisingly enjoyable, noting that the creamy texture, paired with savory seasoning, makes it feel comforting and unique. Others say it is more of a novelty experience, something fun to try once rather than a pantry staple. Still, even skeptical reviews tend to agree that it is an interesting twist on a familiar classic.
Why Disney Fans Are Paying Attention to This Grocery Store DropPart of the excitement comes from accessibility. Unlike exclusive park foods that require a trip to Disneyland Resort, this version of ramen-inspired mac and cheese can be found at everyday grocery stores if you get lucky during the rollout.
Disneyland's food festivals have a history of creating viral dishes that spark online demand long after the event ends. When something similar shows up in a boxed, at-home version, it naturally draws comparisons and curiosity from fans who want a taste without the ticket price.
While availability is still rolling out and not every store has it yet, that only adds to the hype. For now, it sits in that sweet spot between novelty and nostalgia, blending the comfort of Kraft Mac and Cheese with a flavor profile that Disney park fans will instantly recognize.

1974 Classic Album Cover of Dolly Parton Reimagined in ‘Icons Only’ Tribute
Megan Moroney is stepping into some big shoes — and big hair — for her latest role. The country music star has turned back time, recreating the iconic look thatDolly Parton had for her Jolene album cover.
The special debut is all part of the Icons Only feature in People Magazine’s 2026 World's Most Beautiful Issue, which dropped on Tuesday, April 21. Adding to the significance, Moroney, 28, is the exact age Parton was when the album came out.
View this post on Instagram“I just love Dolly so much. She’s such a talented songwriter, artist, and philanthropist. She’s everything,” Moroney, a lifelong fan of Parton, gushed over the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, 80, in a video post shared on Instagram. “She’s always been super confident. She knows exactly who she is. She’s kind and gracious, over the top in some ways, but she really embraces it. So that’s always been inspiring to me.”
“She’s exactly who she is. And, she’s iconic,” the Georgia native continued. “I am feeling like I’m about to pour myself a cup of ambition, that’s for sure.”
The TransformationTo bring the vision to life, Moroney worked with top celebrity hairstylist Jessica Miller, who layered two wigs on her head. Makeup artist Jessica Candage brought out Moroney's features using “neutral, peach tones.”
As for the apparel, Moroney, who is most-nominated at the upcoming ACM Awards, didn’t wear the exact striped jumpsuit with white balloon sleeves that Parton donned for the cover. However, with the help of stylist Lindsey Dupuis Bledsoe and fashion designer Mariana Romanova, she was able to match the look of the original outfit.
“It took about a day and a half,” Dupuis revealed of piecing together the outfit. “We researched because there's not a lot of pictures of Dolly standing in it; she's seated the whole time. But I have [Parton’s] book, Behind the Seams, and it has a full-length picture of her, so that's how we figured out what was happening.”
“I think Dolly has inspired my style because she’s always thought more is more, and I’m right there with you, girl,” Moroney, whose personal style tends to reflect Parton’s, shared.
The AlbumReleased on Feb. 4, 1974, Jolene served as the thirteenth studio album from Parton. The collection included her beloved farewell ballad to Porter Wagoner, “I Will Always Love You,” and the title track, both of which topped the country charts.
“I must have learned the songs in the womb,” Moroney told People of the songs. “I don't remember an age where I learned these songs; I feel like I was born and I knew them. So I blame my mom for playing a lot of Dolly Parton in the car. I grew up in a household where it was like, ‘In this house, we respect Dolly Parton.’”
So what would her reaction be if she met Parton in person today?
Moroney says, “I haven’t met Dolly yet, but I’d probably scream….I just need to meet her. I’d probably hug her, I’d ask her to sing. I’d ask her how she gets so much volume in her hair and makeup tips.”

1971 Classic Named No. 1 Hit Song Became an Anthem of Unconditional Love
Sometimes, the simplest love songs are the ones that last the longest and have the most impact.
When country singer Freddie Hart put out "Easy Loving," it didn't rely on huge gestures or super over-the-top lyrics to make its mark. Instead, the song's gentle message about unconditional love carried it all the way to No. 1. Years later, it still resonates, reminding us that the most meaningful kind of love is often the simplest.
Released in the summer of 1971, "Easy Loving" became Hart's breakthrough song and country music standard. Before the release of the single, the country singer had many minor hits for various labels. His previous song, "California Grapevine," was stuck at No. 68 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles Chart, which caused Capitol Records to drop his contract.
In Atlanta, "Easy Loving" played at a local radio station, then quickly caught on nationwide. A month after its release, the track became a Top 10 country song and was eventually crowned the No. 1 hit in September, staying there for three weeks.
Thanks to its success, it won Hart numerous awards. For instance, he was named the Top Male Vocalist and Entertainer of the Year by the Academy of Country Music in 1972, nominated for two Grammy Awards and honored with Song of the Year by the Country Music Association both in 1971 and 1972. Capitol Records immediately re-signed Hart, and he went on to release five more singles that were also No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart.

Hart was born and raised in Alabama and learned how to play guitar at five years old. After serving in the military, he moved to California to pursue a music career. During the early 1950s, the "My Hang Up is You" singer joined Lefty Frizzell's band for a year before signing with Capitol Records. He recorded a string of singles, but none of them were successful until "Easy Loving" was put out in 1971.
Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, Hart continued to release major songs, hitting a total of 29 studio albums before his death. In the 2000s, Hart made the shift to songwriting, specifically in the gospel genre. He continued writing and recoding into his later years, before passing away due to pneumonia in October 2018. He was 91 years old.
A significant portion of Hart's discography is available on major streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music.

1983 No. 1 Hit Dance Track Won an Oscar for 'Best Original Song' 42 Years Ago
Jennifer Beals starred in a 1983 romantic drama dance film that would become a big-screen cult classic. Flashdance was not only a box office success and pop culture craze with a sequencing style that inspired other films, but it also had a hit track that won an Oscar, composed by Giorgio Moroder andIrene Cara.
By the '80s, Moroder was already a household name record producer who was tasked with developing tracks for the film Flashdance. Directed by Adrian Lyne, Beals starred as a passionate young dancer named Alex Owens who works as a welder by day and an exotic dancer by night. She dreams of becoming a professional ballerina, and alongside her boyfriend, she strives to prove her worth to an elite dance academy.
Flashdance was without a doubt a box office success, having made $201 million at the box office, compared to its low $7 million budget. The film became iconic thanks to its dance numbers, Beals in the leading role, its iconic scenes of water being poured over Beals during a pivotal scene, and its soundtrack.
Moroder was approached by Flashdance producer Jerry Bruckheimer after having worked together on American Gigolo. He developed a rough demo of ideas and asked drummer Keith Forsey to help develop the track. Forsey would then seek the help of Fame actor and singer Irene Cara, and together they developed the hit track "Flashdance... What a Feeling."
Related: 1987 No. 1 Hit Won an Oscar for ‘Best Original Song’ 38 Years Ago
Cara and Forsey watched the final climactic dance scene of the film and soon developed its lyrics. The singer felt the song needed to convey "a metaphor about a dancer, how she's in control of her body when she dances and how she can be in control of her life." Moroder was ultimately on board, with Cara making clear she would be the one to sing the song. "What a Feeling" was the right title for the song, with "Flashdance" being added after its completion at the request of Moroder to get more promotion.
"Flashdance... What a Feeling" was praised by critics as one of the best showcases of Cara's vocal talents. It landed on the Billboard Hot 100 charts at No. 1 and on the Dance Club Songs charts. The track won both an Oscar and a Grammy for Best Original Song in 1984, with Cara earning a Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Performance, Female for the single. She was listed as one of the top Best Song performances when she sang the track at the Oscars.
The hit track came with its dark moments, when Cara filed a lawsuit against her record label for unpaid royalties. She had realized she wasn't getting paid despite the song's immense popularity. After many years, Cara was only awarded over a million, but had faced immense career damage as a result.

2019 Hit Film Was Just Ranked the 'Most Perfect Thriller' of the Last 20 Years
Over the last two decades, movie-goers have been treated to a fair share of incredible thrillers. Collider recently shared a list of the top 10 "most perfect thrillers" released after 2006. According to the publication, some of the most nail-biting films since 2006 include 2010's Shutter Island, The Dark Knight from 2008, 2014's Gone Girl, and Parasite from 2019.
2019's Uncut Gems, starring Adam Sandler as Howard Ratner, took home the list's top spot. Collider noted that the film, directed by brothers Josh Safdie and Benny Safdie, is almost unpleasant because of how stressful it is to watch Howard make all the wrong decisions during its 135-minute runtime.
Uncut Gems has a rating of 91 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.
Adam Sandler Shared How He Joined the Cast of 'Uncut Gems'In a 2019 interview with MTV, alongside Sandler, the Safdie brothers revealed they had approached the actor to star in Uncut Gems in 2012.
"In 2012, we sent the script over to him and then eventually he saw Good Time and immediately reached out to us, which was surreal," said Josh during the interview.
Sandler also said he was interested in playing Howard once he saw the Safdies' films. In addition, Sandler said he and his wife, Jackie Sandler, were immediately blown away when they read the script for Uncut Gems.
"I was like, 'Man, this is just something I have to do.' My wife read it too and she was like, 'My God, these guys are incredible. You've got to be a part of this.' So you know, she helped me get more courage to jump into this character," said the formerSaturday Night Live star.
Sandler clarified that he was not afraid to take on the role of the jeweler. Rather, he wasn't used to starring in films that aren't light-hearted comedies.
"It's not a light, fun comedy that I love doing. My intentions on my movies are to have a good time, make sure everyone's laughing, walking out of the theater happy. When I was doing this movie, I was just having to concentrate on a whole other part of my head," said Sandler during the MTV interview.
1955 Comedy Ranked No. 1 for Most Iconic Movie Dress
A beautiful dress in a film can be a feast for the eyes. An iconic dress helps tell the story of the character's journey. Or it's used in an unexpected way that stays in our culture's memory for years to come. There is one movie dress that was crowned the most iconic for a very good reason.
Marilyn Monroe’s Dress in 'The Seven Year Itch'People who have never seen Gentlemen Prefer Blondes know this iconic scene.Marilyn Monroe plays gold-digging showgirl Lorelei Lee beside Jane Russell as Dorothy Shaw.

Monroe's pink dress for "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend" has been referenced throughout the years. But it's the ivory flowy dress that Monroe wears over a subway grate in The Seven Year Itch that made film history and was ranked number one by Ms Mojo.
William Travilla was the costume designer of the Billy Wilder movie. The white dress has a cinched waist, a pleated skirt, and a halter top.
Photographer Sam Shaw came up with the idea after he already shot a sailor and a girl playing in a Coney Island wind tunnel in 1940, according to Biography. The photographer's granddaughter, Melissa Stevens revealed how the scene was captured.
"Most people also don't know there were two separate shoots," she said. "One was a publicity event in New York where a large crowd of bystanders and the press were invited to create hype." This probably helped promote the movie, but wasn't usable.
"The noise of the crowd rendered the film footage unusable and Billy Wilder reshot the scene on a closed soundstage in Los Angeles," Stevens continued. "Only my grandfather, the set photographer, was allowed into the studio."
Debbie Reynolds bought the dress in hopes of opening a museum. It was later sold to a private collector.

Before He Was a Prestige TV Star, This Emmy Winner Was Developing a ‘Crazy Muscle’ on One of Daytime’s Most Iconic Sets
Daytime Emmy winner Tom Pelphrey, is currently starring in Task, now the actor is reflecting on his early daytime roots, including his breakout role on Guiding Light.
Pelphrey recently sat down with Dax Shepard on the Armchair Expert podcast, where the two discussed his career and journey in acting.
During the conversation, Pelphrey reflected on his early acting experience playing Jonathan Randall, the son of Reva Shayne (Kim Zimmer), on the CBS soap. He emphasized how different the filming pace was compared to other projects, explaining, “The soap itself is filming 50 to 60 pages a day.”
He noted that the show produced an hour of television each day, a pace far faster than most productions, where filming just a few pages can be considered a productive day.
To keep up with the pace, most scenes were filmed in a single take. “Unless the light fell on your head, you're getting one take,” he explained.
Pelphrey also described the production style, noting, “At least back then they had a proscenium style, 3 cameras, and they're live editing in the booth.” He added that actors could see the red camera light out of the corner of their eyes, signaling when they were the focus of the scene.
Pelphrey described the experience as an invaluable training ground, adding, “I'd never been in front of a camera before.”
Discussing the workload, he said, “You're doing 20 pages a day,” describing memorization as a “total muscle” he had to develop. “When I first got there, it took me 2 weeks to learn 10 pages,” he added.
Pelphrey also recalled Guiding Light’s special ‘In the Light’ episodes, which focused on a single character and storyline. “We would do these character episodes where our character would be in the entire episode,” he said.
When it came time for his episode, he said production asked if he wanted to film it in a single day. “I said, ‘yes,’ and I did it,” he recalled, adding that memorization is “a crazy muscle, but you can, you can exercise it.”
For his work on Guiding Light, Pelphrey earned two Daytime Emmy awards for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series, first in 2006 then again in 2008.
Season 1 of Task is currently streaming, with a second season reportedly in preproduction.
Target Shoppers Love These Pretty Pink $5 Glass Tumblers So Much, They're Clearing the Shelves

I've somehow convinced myself that there is no such thing as "too many tumblers," and at this point, I'm not interested in being told otherwise. It probably started with Stanley 1913's Quencher line, when an oversized cup wasn't just practical to keep you hydrated, but became a full-on pop culture moment. And now? Now I apparently need options.
That's right, I said options. A sleek, neutral tumbler for my morning iced coffee, something bright and cheerful for my afternoon water (hydration, but make it fun), and maybe a slightly more aesthetic situation for an evening iced matcha moment. It isn't so much about excess and more about matching the vibe. At least that's what I tell myself. Because seriously, the vessel matters, and I'm OK with that sounding silly to a lot of people (at least some understand me).

Bullseye's Playground Large Glass Tumbler Pink, $5 at TargetTarget
Shop It!What might be the wildest aspect of the giant cup craze is how pricy this drinkware can be, so when you find a cute one for just $5? It's like winning the gosh darn lottery. And that's exactly what we have here with Target's Large Glass Pink Tumbler, available in the Bullseye's Playground section of the store.
It's a 40-ounce glass tumbler in the prettiest translucent pink that somehow feels both fun and a little bit elevated. The glass has a nice, sturdy weight, so it doesn't feel flimsy, and it comes with a lid, which is a must for any good tumbler. It's also generously sized (about 10 inches tall and just under four inches wide), so it's perfect for keeping you hydrated without constant refills, all while looking really cute sitting on your desk or patio table.

Perhaps the only off-putting thing about Target's pink glass tumbler is that it's so in demand it's hard to find. And the retailer doesn't offer shipping on Bullseye's Playground items. So basically, you have to check all the stores around you to see if they have inventory, then run to the one that does before it sells out.
Other Target shoppers agree with me on that suggestion.
"These are high quality and very pretty," wrote one person in their online review. "I recommend you grab them while they are available."
Again, run, don't walk, and may the odds be ever in your favor.

Dr. Scholl’s ‘Cushiony’ Slide Sandals Are Just $40 at Nordstrom Rack in 10 Summer-Ready Colors
Parade aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.
A pair of slide sandals can easily become your most worn shoes during the summer. They’re quick to slip on, comfortable, and ideal for busy days when you are constantly on the move. That said, many of the most comfortable styles can lean too casual, which makes them harder to wear outside of very relaxed settings.
If you’re looking for a pair that balances comfort with a more polished look, the Dr. Scholl’s Original Slide Sandals are worth considering. Right now, they’re on sale for up to 50% off at Nordstrom Rack, bringing the price down from $80 to as low as $40. It is a solid deal for a pair you can wear daily.
Dr. Scholl’s Original Slide Sandals, From $40 (was $80) at Nordstrom Rack Shop at Nordstrom RackThe design blends casual ease with subtle style details. Glossy hardware adds a slightly elevated touch, while the overall silhouette remains simple and wearable. The materials include a synthetic upper, lining, and sole, making them lightweight and easy to maintain.
One standout feature is the signature buckle. It has a chunky, metallic-inspired look that gives the sandals a bit of edge while still being functional. You can adjust the strap width slightly, which helps create a more customized fit.
Comfort is where these sandals really shine. They are designed with a contoured footbed that supports your arch and keeps you comfortable for long periods of time.
One shopper said the pair is going to be their “go-to slip-on all summer,” adding, “They’re lightweight, easy, and comfortable — the footbed is cushiony and flexible. The straps make it easily adjustable for wide feet, and the footbed also accommodates some width as well.”
Another shared, “I have bunions so the comfort of all my shoes is of the utmost importance and these really take the cake in terms of support. They’re very flexible and have held up well after many long days of wear around the gym after my workouts.”
In addition to comfort, there are plenty of style options to choose from. The sandals come in 10 colors, with some versions featuring glossy jelly straps and others offering faux leather with stud details. This range makes it easy to find a pair that fits your personal style.
They are also incredibly versatile when it comes to where you can wear them. You can slip them on for brunch, errands, travel days, or even casual office settings. They offer the comfort of a slide with a slightly more refined appearance.
Styling them is simple, too. Pair them with linen pants and an oversized button-down for an effortless summer outfit, or wear them with leggings and a tank for an athleisure look. They also work well with maxi skirts, overalls, or beachwear for vacation.

Will Mark Ballas Return to 'Chicago'? Star Speaks Out After Illness Forces Exit
Mark Ballas shared a heartfelt apology to fans after being forced to leave the Monday, April 20, performance of Chicago on Broadway during the first act.
"Thank you all for being so patient with me, no one is more disappointed than I am," the Dancing With the Stars pro shared via his Instagram Story on Tuesday, April 21. "I truly appreciate everyone who has reached out and shown support, it means more than you know."
Ballas, who is suffering from an undisclosed illness, revealed that he will not be able to return for the Tuesday, April 21, performance.
"I came back a bit prematurely, and after listening to my doctors, it's clear I need to take a little more time to recover properly," he continued. "Huge shoutout to [James T. Lane] for stepping in and holding it down."
The illness also forced Ballas to sit out during his scheduled performances over the weekend, later sharing his disappointment.
"This illness has hit me and my whole household very hard. I have been doing everything I can to get back," he announced on Sunday. "This is a massive disappointment for me & again I can’t apologize enough. Thank you for understanding."
Ballas reunited with his season 34 partner, Whitney Leavitt, as they both landed roles in the iconic musical.
"After spending the last few months in the world of The Traitors, where everything is about lies, murder, and deception, stepping into Chicago feels like a pretty natural next move," Ballas told People in February. "I’m so excited to be returning to Broadway, this time as Billy Flynn, and even more excited that I get to share the stage with Whitney, who’s already killing it as Roxie Hart. I’m excited to get this partnership back together and make DWTS history."
With his limited engagement scheduled to conclude on May 3, Ballas is anxious to get back on stage.
"I can't wait to be back with you all very soon," he concluded his Tuesday apology.
2003 Animated Film Ranks No. 3 Among the Greatest Movies of the Century
There’s nothing fishy about this: Pixar’s Finding Nemo outranks nearly every modern blockbuster on Rotten Tomatoes’ “100 Greatest Movies of the 21st Century” list.
The ranking of the critically acclaimed film cements it firmly in elite company among 21st-century cinema. Coming in at No. 3, the instant classic has only Parasite andTop Gun: Maverick bobbing above it (in that order). And, honestly, it’s pretty easy to see why.
View this post on InstagramBoasting a 99% from critics and 86% from audiences, the film is a definitive crowd-pleaser. Part of what keeps Finding Nemo so highly regarded is its emotional storytelling and visual innovation. A lovable fantasy, the animated gem takes audiences under the sea and across the entire spectrum of emotion.
According to Mental Floss, the story was inspired by the director’s overprotective nature. “Finding Nemo co-writer/director Andrew Stanton’s story came from a very personal place,” the outlet shares. “As a relatively new father during the film’s development, Stanton found himself at odds with his proclivity to veer into overprotective territory, much in the way viewers see Marlin combating his neuroses in raising his son Nemo.”
Pixar’s animated film centers on Marlin (voiced by Albert Brooks), a clownfish who teams up with a forgetful regal blue tang fish named Dory (voiced by Ellen DeGeneres) to find his missing eponymous son, the film meanders through the currents of the South Pacific, encountering every sea creature and coral reef hidden in the depths of the Great Barrier Reef along the way. More than two decades later, the film’s reputation has only grown.
Released in 2003 and co-directed by Lee Unkrich, the animated gem is one of the studio’s earlier projects. As its slate of films tend to do, Finding Nemo appeals to audiences of all ages. On its surface, the animated classic is a colorful story about a fish, but beneath, it’s a deeply phylosophical and thoughtful film everyone can connect with.
Finding Nemo’s cultural impact extends far beyond the original story. Riding its wave of popularity, Finding Dory hatched in 2016. The animated sequel is not represented on the same Rotten Tomatoes list, however several other Pixar productions are — and surprisingly, near the top. Toy Story 3and 4, Up, Inside Out, and Coco are all ranked in the top 20 greatest films of the century.
Finding Nemo is streaming on Disney+.
