These days, Hart is prepping for a 30th anniversary reunion for the cast of Sabrina the Teenage Witch, set to happen at the Vic Theatre in Chicago on June 13.
1965 Hit Track Won an Oscar for 'Best Original Song' 61 Years Ago Today
In 1965, the Hollywood power couple,Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, starred in an American drama film that was a box office success. Its main theme song, with music by Johnny Mandel and lyrics by Paul Francis Webster, ended up winning an Oscar and more.
The two actors starred in Vincente Minnelli's The Sandpiper, which dominated the box office, having made over $13 million against its $5 million budget. Taylor played the leading role of artist Laura Reynolds, while Burton played boarding school headmaster Dr. Edward Hewitt. The drama's storyline focused on Laura's son being sent to boarding school instead of reform school to deal with his legal trouble.
While Dr. Hewitt is "happily" married, there's a spark between him and Laura. The Sandpiper explored the relationship between the repressed religious-school headmaster and the free-spirited artist. The film also took on the theme and details of the beatnik and hippie movement of the 60s.

The Sandpiper wasn't a hit among the critics, despite having done well at the box office. Instead, what gained notable acclaim was the movie's theme song, "The Shadow of Your Smile." It was originally introduced in the film as an instrumental version with an uncredited chorus group. Jazz trumpeter Jack Sheldon is also heard on the track with a solo. At the 1965 Academy Awards, the popular track ended up winning for Best Original Song against "The Ballad of Cat Ballou" (Cat Ballou), "I Will Wait for You" (The Umbrellas of Cherbourg), "The Sweetheart Tree" (The Great Race), and "What's New Pussycat?" (What's New Pussycat?).
The track gained more critical acclaim when it was covered by legendary singer Tony Bennettas part of his The Movie Song Album in 1966. It ended up entering the Billboard Hot 100 charts at No. 95 and won a Grammy for Song of the Year. Its popularity led the American Film Institute to tag it as one of the top tracks in American cinema.
Since the 1965 film and 1966 cover, "The Shadow of Your Smile" has been covered by other known artists. Brazilian and American singer Astrud Gilberto covered the track, alongside Wes Montgomery, in 1965. Alongside Bennett, Hampton Hawes, and Oscar Peterson released their versions. Other covers have largely been done by jazz artists like Bill Evans,Benny Carter, and Hank Jones.

She also discussed how Michael Landon was both a respectful and stern boss to the many child actors who filled the set.
“He respected me,” Arngrim wrote. “Respect is something very hard to come by for child actors. They are often treated as dumb animals or props, objects to be moved about in service of the plot or the other actors.”

One of Disney's Biggest Child Stars Turns 80 Today
Hayley Mills is celebrating her birthday on April 18, 2026, and it’s the perfect excuse to revisit the Disney icon’s most memorable roles.
Born on April 18, 1946, in London, England, Hayley Catherine Rose Vivien Mills was practically destined for stardom. The daughter of actor John Mills and writer Mary Hayley Bell, she got an early start—but it was Walt Disney who helped turn her into one of the most beloved child stars of all time.
After Disney discovered her in Tiger Bay, Mills made her American debut in Pollyanna, earning a special Academy Award and launching a golden run with the studio that defined a generation.
From charming comedies to adventurous family films, Mills became a household name in the 1960s—and remained a nostalgic favorite for decades after.
In honor of her birthday, here are some of Hayley Mills’ most unforgettable roles.
- Pollyanna (1960): Mills’ breakout performance as the endlessly optimistic orphan didn’t just win hearts—it earned her a special Academy Award, making her one of the youngest Oscar winners ever.
- The Parent Trap (1961): Perhaps her most iconic role, Mills pulled double duty as twins Sharon and Susan, showcasing her charisma (and impressive acting chops) in a performance that still delights audiences today. She even scored a musical hit with “Let’s Get Together.”
- In Search of the Castaways (1962): Adventure meets Disney magic as Mills joins a globe-trotting quest to find a missing father—cementing her status as the studio’s go-to young star.
- Summer Magic (1963): This musical favorite gave Mills another chance to shine, blending warmth, humor and song in classic Disney fashion.
- The Moon-Spinners (1964): Taking on a slightly more mature role, Mills stepped into mystery and suspense in this fan-favorite Disney thriller set in Greece.
- That Darn Cat! (1965): A quirky comedy that proved Mills could handle anything—from heartfelt roles to lighthearted chaos involving a very mischievous feline.
During her six-year run with Disney, Mills was arguably the most popular child actress in the world—a title that’s hard to dispute given her string of hits.
She later returned to her most famous role, reprising the twins in three TV sequels: The Parent Trap II, Parent Trap III, and Parent Trap: Hawaiian Honeymoon. She also starred in the series Good Morning, Miss Bliss, which would eventually evolve into Saved by the Bell.
In 1998, Mills was named a Disney Legend, honoring her lasting impact on the company and on generations of fans.

The Morning Habit People Over 50 Should Break Immediately, According to Cardiologists
Once you run the corner on 50, taking care of your heart becomes more important. The average age of a first heart attack is around 65 years old for men and 72 years old for women, according to the American Heart Association. However, heart attacks don't happen out of the blue, despite what you might see in the movies. Other cardiovascular conditions, like hypertension and high cholesterol, can develop much sooner and put you at a greater risk for having a heart attack.
Genetics plays a role in heart health, but so do things within our control, including our habits. Cardiologists agree that morning is a unique time for the heart.
"Morning habits matter because your body experiences a natural surge in blood pressure and stress hormones after waking, increasing the risk of cardiovascular events over time," explains Dr. Karishma Patwa, MD, a cardiologist with Manhattan Cardiology in NYC and labfinder.com contributor.
On the flipside, you can build a healthier heart through positive habits.
"A calm, structured start promotes physiologic stability, while a reactive, stress-driven start tends to persist throughout the day," says Dr. Gregory Mishkel, MD, a cardiologist and physician executive of the Endeavor Health Cardiovascular Institute. "It functions much like setting a thermostat—the system tends to maintain the level you establish early."
Unfortunately, cardiologists say one piece of your morning routine isn't doing your heart any favors, especially if you're 50+. Here's the morning habit people over 50 should stop doing immediately.

The Worst Morning Habit for Heart Health Over 50, According to CardiologistsWitthaya Prasongsin/Getty Images
Stop scrolling through social media, the news and, yes, your work email, on your phone immediately after waking up.
"Our body follows natural circadian rhythms that govern our daily cycle," explains Dr. Cheng-Han Chen, MD, a board-certified interventional cardiologist and medical director of the Structural Heart Program at MemorialCare Saddleback Medical Center. "Stressful activities when you first wake up, such as high-stress activities on your phone, can affect these rhythms, and potentially affect your heart health."
Dr. Mishkel agrees and advises against checking high-stress things on your phone, like the news, when you wake up.
"It creates an immediate and unnecessary stress response," he says. "Emails, news and social media often trigger urgency and anxiety, activating both the sympathetic nervous system and the 'hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal' axis. The result is increased heart rate, elevated blood pressure and higher cortisol levels. In effect, you are placing your cardiovascular system into 'fight-or-flight' mode before the day has even begun."
Dr. Mishkel suggests avoiding checking your phone for at least 20 to 30 minutes after waking up to prevent the early surge in cortisol and sympathetic activation.

How Stress Impacts the HeartWe often talk about how diet, exercise and smoking can affect the heart. Stress can get pigeonholed as a "mental health" problem only, but it's more than that.
"Stress, in the short-term, activates your body’s fight or flight response, which causes faster heart rates, high blood pressure and feelings of discomfort," Dr. Patwa says.
She notes that these uncomfortable feelings may include:
- Jitteriness
- Palpitations
- Shortness of breath
- Chest tightness
"In more extreme cases, acute stress can trigger conditions such as Takotsubo cardiomyopathy, a condition known as a 'broken heart,' which mimics symptoms of a heart attack but is purely caused by an acute stress reaction," Dr. Mishkel says. "Over the long term, chronic stress acts as a risk multiplier."
Dr. Mishkel says stress can contribute to:
- Sustained hypertension
- Damage to the linings of blood vessels—known as endothelial dysfunction
- Inflammation
- Accelerated atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries and build-up of plaque).
- Arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation
- Increased heart attack and stroke risk
"Stress does not act in isolation—it amplifies existing cardiovascular risk factors," Dr. Mishkel states.
To be clear, we all experience stress. Waking up to an "oh-crap" moment that you slept through an alarm and are late for work once is unlikely to cause an issue. "Stress is unavoidable—but how we engage with it, especially at the start of the day, is a choice," he shares. "Small changes in morning habits can have a meaningful impact on long-term heart health."
In other words, you don't actually have to check X or TikTok before you get out of bed every single morning (or ever).

A 3-Step Heart-Healthy Morning RoutineMorning routines matter for heart health, so make sure yours is benefiting you. "The first 30–60 minutes of the day influence autonomic balance, blood pressure patterns and stress hormone levels," Dr. Mishkel says.
To build a morning routine that supports your heart, cardiologists suggest:
- Engaging in controlled breathing or quiet time for five minutes. Dr. Mishkel recommends slow breathing, meditation or simply sitting quietly to activate the parasympathetic nervous system and lower heart rate and blood pressure.
- Filling up. Dr. Chen advises that you reach for water first thing, rather than your phone, to lower your risk of starting your day dehydrated. "I also recommend that people eat a well-balanced, heart-healthy breakfast rich in fiber, as this will set the stage for a nutritious day," Dr. Chen says.
- Getting in some light movement or an early morning workout. A short walk, stretching or basic mobility exercises all qualify, Dr. Mishkel says. This habit improves vascular function, regulates blood pressure and reduces stress hormone levels. That said, Dr. Mishkel shares it's important to log daily physical activity—period—regardless of when you do it.

Disney Legend Hayley Mills Is Glowing at 79 as She Recalls Meeting Walt Disney for the First Time
Hayley Mills rose to stardom as a kid in Disney films, and she's opening up about meeting Walt Disney for the first time.
The British beauty, who rose to stardom in classic children’s films like The Parent Trap and Pollyanna, sat down on The Rosebud Podcast with Gyles Brandreth and looked every bit as stunning as she was decades ago. With her classic blonde hair and beautiful smile, there’s no doubt that the English rose was the Disney film icon of the past.
When asked by Brandreth about meeting Disney for the first time, Mills recalled going to meet the legend with her family at The Dorchester and heading up to his suite in dead silence. Mills credits the family's chaotic dog, Suki, as the reason she got the Pollyanna job, because Disney had so much fun sitting on the floor playing with the pup.
Check out the video below of Mills telling the story:
View this post on Instagram Did Hayley Mills Struggle After Being a Teen Disney Star?Tremendously. While things are great for Mills these days, she struggled tremendously in the period that followed her rise to fame as a child actor.
“It did seem to kind of slow my development into being an adult,” she shared in a Los Angeles Times article in 2021. “Actors are so much braver today. You look at Daniel Radcliffe from ‘Harry Potter,’ how brave he’s been with his career. He’s really gone out on a limb, and I admire that so much.”
She developed bulimia and became a people pleaser, desperately trying to satisfy the adults around her. As she got into her twenties, she discovered that much of the money she earned as a child star had disappeared, subjected to a 91% tax rate that was created to bolster England’s finances after the war.
Despite that setback, Mills built her acting resume back up. She starred on stage and in the cult-favorite TV show Good Morning, Miss Bliss, which later becameSaved by the Bell. She also went on to have two sons and is now a grandmother.

Valerie Bertinelli Shares Throwback Photo With Wolfgang Van Halen, Who Looks Just Like His Dad
On April 17, Valerie Bertinelli posted a throwback photo from when she was filming her sitcom, Hot in Cleveland. It showed her standing alongside her real son, Wolfgang Van Halen, and her on-screen son, Joe Jonas.
She captioned the photo, “2010 my son visiting the Hot in Cleveland set when someone else was playing my son. Acting is so weird.”
View this post on InstagramBertinelli married rock musician, Eddie Van Halen, in 1981. Their son, Wolfgang, was born in 1991. However, the pair separated in 2001. In her autobiography, Losing It: And Gaining My Life Back One Pound at a Time, she revealed that the divorce was partially due to his drug addiction and his refusal to quit smoking.
Wolfgang is a musician, singer, and songwriter who performed as the bassist for Van Halen from 2007 to 2020. Since his father’s death in 2020, he has been working on his solo project, Mammoth.

On March 16, when he celebrated his 35thbirthday, Bertinelli posted another photo of him, capturing him playing in the grass as a child. It was captioned, “Our days of [wrestling] in the grass may be over, but looking over these pictures one thing is incredibly clear. Every day of my life has had more joy, more fun, more laughter, more meaning, more clarity, and more love because you came into it. The best day of my life was March 16, 1991 and every day since then has been pure magic. I love you to the moon and back.”
View this post on InstagramOne of the comments underneath the Instagram photo of Wolfgang and Jonas on the Hot in Cleveland set said, "Wolfgang looks so much like Ed here.“ Another raved, "Joe Jonas playing your son on the show was the most iconic thing for me.”
The sitcom, which starred Bertinelli alongside Betty White, Jane Leeves, and Wendie Malick, premiered in 2010. It was TV Land’s highest rated telecast in their 14-year history. The show followed three middle-aged best friends who leased a house with their sassy caretaker, played by White. The show lasted six seasons, ending in 2015.
Jonas appeared on the show when he was 20, playing the son of Bertinelli’s character who was stopping in to say hello on his way to college. At the time, he told TV Guide, “The scenes are really funny. Anyone from any age will get the role and enjoy it."
Hot in Cleveland is currently available to watch for free on Pluto TV.
Will 'RuPaul's Drag Race' Return for Season 19?
For over 15 years, we've watched RuPaul's Drag Race go from a small counter-cultural reality TV show on Logo to a worldwide phenomenon. Thanks to the work of RuPaul and a seemingly endless quantity of talented queens, drag has taken the globe by storm, making Drag Race one of the most popular, successful and life-changing shows on TV today. And it's safe to say it won't be "sashaying away" anytime soon.
Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming Season 19 of RuPaul's Drag Race.
While a formal announcment of Drag Race Season 19 has not been made my MTV, World of Wonder (the production company behind the show, as well as all of its international spinoffs), did officially open casting on October 1, 2025. And, given the monumental success of the show, it would be a shocking elimination from the airing schedule (much like Jane Don't's elimination).
When will RuPaul's Drag Race Season 19 premiere?Drag Race will most likely premiere Season 19 in January 2027. The series has kicked off in the first week of the new year annually since Season 13 in 2021.
How to watch RuPaul's Drag Race Season 19Season 19 of RuPaul's Drag Race will air yet again air on MTV. If you're a cord-cutter, you'll unfortunately have to wait until after the season airs in full for it to drop on Paramount+.
What is the prize on RuPaul's Drag Race Season 19?The winner of Season 17 took home a cash prize of $200,000 sponsored by TodayTix, as well as the title of "America's Next Drag Superstar. The winner of Season 19 will likely earn a similar prize.
Who is in the cast of RuPaul's Drag Race Season 19 in 2027?Check back closer to the premiere of Season 19 of RuPaul's Drag Race to find out which queens will be competing for the crown.
Who are the judges on RuPaul's Drag Race Season 19?It's assumed we'll be seeing some amalgamation of the Season 18 judges for Season 19. That includes:
RuPaulMichelle VisageCarson KressleyRoss MatthewsTs MadisonLaw RoachHow many seasons of RuPaul's Drag Race are there? There are currently 18 seasons of the US version of RuPaul's Drag Race with an 19th on the way. In addition, there have been ten seasons of the US All Stars version, along with numerous international seasons.

Will there be Untucked for Season 19 of RuPaul's Drag Race?Yes! We'll be getting the other half of the story when RuPaul's Drag Race: Untucked airs right after the episodes proper, at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT.
Related: RuPaul's Net Worth Is Definitely a Lot More Than a Cash Prize of $200,000
How long will episodes of RuPaul's Drag Race Season 19 be?Episodes will be 90 minutes long. After the Season 15 debacle where MTV shortened Drag Race episodes down to an hour at the beginning of the season to make room for The Real Friends of WeHo, they course-corrected back to 90-minute episodes later in the season. Now the show is back to the usual 90-minute episode followed by 30 minutes of Untucked format.
Will RuPaul's Drag Race Season 19 air on Paramount+?Not likely. At least not initially. While the All Stars version of the show premieres on Paramount+, the regular franchise airs on MTV and won't arrive on Paramount+ to stream until sometime after the full season has finished airing.
Will RuPaul's Drag Race Season 18 air on Hulu? No. While Drag Race used to have a deal with Hulu, no new seasons of the show have gone onto the streamer in a few years, as they now stream on Paramount+ instead.
Will RuPaul's Drag Race Season 19 air on MTV?Yes! The last few seasons of the franchise have aired on MTV, and that seems like its new permanent home, now that it's moved on from VH1.
Will RuPaul's Drag Race Season 19 air on VH1?No. While seasons of Drag Race previously aired on VH1, they no longer air there and so it would be odd for All Stars to air now.

Holland America Just Solved the Biggest Problem With Solo Cruising
If you've ever tried to book a solo cruise, you know the struggle is real. Between the dreaded "single supplement" fees that basically force you to pay for a ghost roommate and the tiny, windowless interior "studios" most ships offer solo travelers, it hasn't exactly been a red-carpet experience.
But Holland America Line just dropped some news that suggests the industry is finally waking up to the fact that going it alone shouldn't mean staying in a closet.
As part of a massive new fleet-wide project called Holland America Evolution, the line is rolling out a "bow-to-stern" reimagining of six of its most popular ships. While the $500 million investment covers everything from new dining spots to refreshed public spaces, the real headline for solo adventurers is the introduction of Solo Verandah staterooms.
Related: Holland America Line Announces Renovations to One of Its Most Beloved Ships
Starting with the Oosterdam in Fall 2027, the ship is adding 30 purpose-built cabins designed specifically for one person. But here is the kicker—unlike the cramped solo cabins of the past, these are actually spacious at 200 square feet and come with their own private balconies.
It is a massive shift for a ship that currently has zero dedicated solo inventory. It means you can finally have that classic "coffee on the balcony in your robe" moment without having to pay double the price for a room built for two.
"Our guests have been very clear about what they love about our ships and what they want to see more of, and Holland America Evolution is our answer to that,” said Beth Bodensteiner, president, Holland America Line. "This investment allows us to introduce experiences and venues that are new to the fleet, add Pinnacle Class favorites like Grand Dutch Café, and create new stateroom categories designed for the way people travel today, all while preserving the perfectly sized ship experience that defines Holland America.”
The design is clearly leaning into the "work from anywhere" lifestyle, too. Each room features a dedicated workspace and a modern, glass-walled shower, proving that "solo" doesn't have to mean "basic."
Beyond the new staterooms, as mentioned above, the Grand Dutch Café is finally making its debut on the Oosterdam, and if you’re a solo traveler, this is probably where you’ll spend half your trip. Previously a perk reserved only for the newer Pinnacle Class ships, this spot is essentially the social anchor of the vessel.
It’s styled like a classic European street café, making it the ultimate "introvert-friendly" social hub. You can snag a window seat for some prime people-watching, order a Dutch pea soup or a specialty coffee, and feel perfectly comfortable lingering with a book or a laptop. It lacks the formality of the main dining room, offering an easygoing, all-day spot to grab a snack or a local craft beer without the pressure of a timed reservation.
This move is part of a larger trend as Holland America reports a steady climb in single passengers every year. By adding 76 total new staterooms to the Oosterdam alone—including new "Bridgeview" suites—they are betting big on the idea that more choice and more privacy is exactly what modern cruisers are looking for.

Directed by Steven Spielberg, the film follows DiCaprio's character as he plays a con artist who attempts to outsmart FBI agent Carl Hanratty, played by Tom Hanks. Baye played DiCaprio's mother in the film.
To catch a glimpse of Baye as DiCaprio's mother in the film, watch the trailer below:
Baye Was a French Cinema IconWhile American audiences largely knew Baye for her role in the Downton film, she was a staple of French cinema thanks to films like Every Man for Himself, Strange Affair, La Balance, and The Young Lieutenant. She racked up four wins at the Césars, which are largely considered to be France's equivalent of the Oscars.
French President Emmanuel Macron made a statement upon the news of her death. Translated from French, the touching statement honored her legacy in French cinema.
"We loved Nathalie Baye so much. She accompanied, through her voice, her smiles, and her reserve, these last decades of French cinema, from François Truffaut to Tonie Marshall. An actress with whom we loved, dreamed, and grew up. We think of her family and her loved ones," Macron wrote.
— Emmanuel Macron (@EmmanuelMacron) April 18, 20262004 Box Office Flop Ranked ‘Worst Sequel’ of All Time
While some sequels manage to surpass the original and raise the bar, others struggle to live up to expectations and completely miss the mark of what made the first film work, just like SuperBabies: Baby Geniuses 2.
The American family comedy movie, which was first released in 1999, was a major hit, earning a worldwide box office total of $36.5 million, tripling its production budget, as cited by Box Office Mojo.
Being one of the first films to extensively use 2D wrapping technology to make it appear that infants could talk, its groundbreaking visual effects failed to impress critics despite its strong box office performance.

In a list unveiled by Rotten Tomatoes, a well-known review aggregation website for film and television, they released the 56 “worst sequels of all time.”
Taking the top spot, SuperBabies: Baby Geniuses 2 was slammed for its “lack of taste” with critics saying it proves that “bad jokes still aren't funny when coming from the mouths of babes.”
The reaction also noted how the sequel wasted the talent of its stellar cast, particularly Academy Award winning actor Jon Voight, who headlined the movie and played the antagonist.
As a result, critics cited his performance in SuperBabies: Baby Geniuses 2 as a low point in his acting career.
@jhoyagoyaPlot: The film starts with a group of babies in a daycare center. Archie Bobbins, the cousin of Sly and Whit from the first Baby Geniuses, tells his friends, Finkleman, Alex, and Rosita, a story about Kahuna, his distant relative. He says Kahuna is a super baby with super strength and seemingly doesn't age, and he once rescued a group of children from an evil orphanage at the Berlin Wall run by a villainous overseer named Bill Biscane. Back in the present day, Archie's father Stan , Dan's brother, who runs the daycare and a chain just like them, allows his center to be used as a filming location by the now TV mogul Biscane/Kane, who is starting up his own TV channel. Archie and the other babies sneak into Stan's office and decide to research Biscane but are caught. Archie overhears Biscane's helpers talking about their plan, accidentally attracting their attention, but he is rescued by Kahuna. Kylie the babysitter takes them all out to the children's museum, but Biscane's helpers accidentally knock their disc into the stroller. After a pursuit, Kahuna rescues them all; he then takes them all to his base. Kahuna transforms the babies into "superbabies": Archie is Brain Boy, Alex is Bouncing Boy, Rosita is Cupid Girl, and Finkleman is Baby Courageous. Later, Archie eavesdrops on Kylie and Zach, Kahuna's helper; Zack tells her that Kahuna's father was a scientist and developed a formula for a potion. Kahuna enters the lab, and a mysterious person tries to drink the potion but accidentally chucks it when a storm breaks through the window. It lands and Kahuna drinks it, transforming him into a super baby. Kahuna's brother became jealous and annoyed at his brother, whom his friends call a freak. When the father d!ed, Kahuna was put into an orphanage; after escaping, he set out to rescue babies and children everywhere. The next day, Zack and Kylie find the disc that fell in the stroller earlier. The disc contains a clip of the program that is to be aired on Biscane's TV channel, followed by seemingly random code; they realize that Biscane is up to no good. The group spies on Biscane as he prepares to launch his channel, but Kahuna figures out that Biscane plans to take over the world through his TV channel by hypnotizing kids to never go outside, so he att*cks the broadcast satellites, which causes him to disappear. The babies decide to become their super alter egos to save Kahuna. With Stan, Archie's mom Jean, Kylie, and Zack with them, they return to Kahuna's hideout and become Bounce Boy, Cupid Girl, Brain Boy, and Courageous Boy. After having escaped his prison, Kahuna arrives, followed by Biscane and his goons. Biscane manages to get the disc he needs and begins to air the hypnotic clip on TV. Biscane then reveals the truth that he is actually Kahuna's jealous older brother, and is revealed to be the person who tried to drink the potion. The babies then knock Biscane into Kahuna's machine which unlocks a person's true self with the push of a button. However, upon activating it he is surprisingly turned into a baby, to his despair, and argues with his assistant over who gets to change his diapers. Kahuna reverses Biscane's TV clip and all the children decide to run and play outside. Kahuna tells Archie that he must leave and retire and though they'll always be friends. Kahuna leaves in his flying vehicle, waving at him and saying he'll always be a hero. #superbabies #babygeniuses #babygeniuses2 #2004 #america #americanfilm #americanmovie #family #action #Comedy #jonvoight #scottbaio #vanessaangel #peterwingfield #justinchatwin #anastasiatrovato #skylershaye #LeoGerryandMylesFitzgerald #sonypicturesentertainment #filmsuggestions #filmrecommendation #moviesuggestions #movierecommendation #filmclips #movieclip #filmscene #moviescene #filmtrailer #movietrailer #tiktok #tiktokph #tiktokphilippines #foryourpage #foryou #fyppppppppppppppppppppppp #creatorsearchinsight

On the other hand, the family comedy movie also received a green splat rating or was rated Rotten, which means that the majority of professional critics reviewed it negatively.
Helmed by Bob Clark, who also directed the first movie, the storyline focuses on a new group of toddlers attempting to stop a media mogul, Bill Biscane, portrayed by Jon Voight.
Was SuperBabies: Baby Geniuses 2 a Flop?In contrast to the original movie, SuperBabies: Baby Geniuses 2 had a worldwide gross of only $9.4 million with an estimated production budget of around $20 million.
With this, various publications and critics have since labeled the movie as a “massive commercial and critical flop” and it frequently appears on lists of the worst films ever made.

4 Hidden Gem Towns in Florida, Pennsylvania, Nebraska, and More Where Retirees Can Live Comfortably on $2,500 a Month
When people start planning for retirement, one of the first questions they ask themselves is how they'll be able to continue to afford to live once they stop collecting a paycheck from their work. And while many folks spend the years (and sometimes decades) leading up to retirement ensuring that they've saved up enough money to help supplement their Social Security income, there are those who still worry about having enough money to get by.
Fortunately, there are plenty of towns in the U.S. where you can comfortably retire on $2,500 a month, and I've put together a list of some of them so you can get an idea of some more affordable options. Best of all, many of these spots are hidden gems that aren't already super popular retirement spots, which means you may be able to get a good deal on a home if you decide to move.
Lincoln, NebraskaWhile Nebraska may not exactly scream "dreamy retirement destination" to everyone, the state has a lot going for it. In fact, the state's website says that it began phasing out the taxation of Social Security benefits in 2022, allowing you to keep more money in your pocket when you retire.
But those who decide to settle down in Lincoln may be in for a real treat, considering the cost of living here is around 6 percent less than the national average. Not only that, but the Senior Living blog says that around 14 percent of the town's 300,619 population is made up of seniors, so those looking for community will feel right at home. Add into the fact that there is no estate tax and only a 15 percent max inheritance tax (it varies by county), and this city seems like a great place to start your second chapter.
Plus, Payscale says that food won't be too big of an expense, since groceries are around 2 percent below the national average, while housing is a whopping 23 percent lower.
Related: These Are the 3 Worst-Ranked Florida Cities to Retire In
Uniontown, PennsylvaniaLooking for a small-town feel in your retirement? You may want to head to Uniontown, Pennsylvania. The Senior Living blog says that just 9,554 people call this town home, and roughly 21.4 percent of them are seniors.
Located around an hour south of Pittsburgh, this quaint town has a lot of rich history to offer by way of historical monuments. Plus, the overall cost of living here remains low, according to Payscale, which puts it 11 percent below the national average. Groceries and housing also remain lower, at 2 percent and 37 percent below average, respectively.
Freeport, IllinoisIf you don't mind cold winters, Freeport, Illinois, is worth adding to your list. Not only can you call this town home for less than $2,500 a month, but the Senior Living blog says that you can do so with a large chunk of like-minded friends. That's because the town's population of 23,140 is largely made up of retirees, and about 22 percent are ages 65 and up.
According to Best Places, you can get by on around $1,700 a month here if you're living by yourself, which is about 64.3 percent less expensive than the national average. Similarly, housing prices are around $91,900, about 72.8 percent below the national average. If you already have quite a bit of equity built up in your current home, you could conceivably purchase a new house in Freeport and live mortgage-free.

Sebring, FloridaFlorida is often a fan favorite for seniors. The state has great tax breaks for retirees, and you truly just can't beat the weather (when it's not hurricane season, that is). But despite a low cost of living, some popular retirement destinations are too expensive for those living on a fixed income.
Enter, Sebring, Florida. According to Best Places, a single person can live here for just $2,300 a month. That's because the website says this spot is about 51.8 percent less expensive than the national average and 19.5 percent lower than the state's average. That includes everything from food to healthcare, which means you'll be able to live a bit more comfortably when you retire here.
Of course, there are many other costs to consider when moving, including credit card debt, car payments, and lifestyle choices, which can affect how much you need to spend each month to get by. That said, these towns offer a lower overall cost of living, which can help keep your basic costs down in retirement.

Star Trek’s Movie Future Just Got a Surprise Update Amid Franchise TV Shakeups
Star Trek’s big-screen future is moving forward again, even as the franchise’s television lineup continues to shift.
At CinemaCon 2026, Paramount confirmed that a new Star Trek film remains in active development. The update follows years of uncertainty around the franchise’s movie plans, including multiple halted or shelved attempts to continue the Kelvin timeline introduced in 2009.
Those earlier film projects went through extended development cycles that included changes in writers, directors, and studio direction before ultimately being set aside. The current effort marks a reset rather than a continuation of those earlier versions, with Paramount now working on a new take intended to stand apart from previous film storylines.
No casting, release date, or production timeline was announced. The studio’s confirmation was limited to reaffirming that the project is still in development and remains part of its broader theatrical strategy.
The film side of Star Trek has struggled to regain consistent momentum since the last entry in the Kelvin timeline series. Several planned follow-ups were announced over the years but failed to move into production, leading to a long period of speculation about whether the franchise would return to theaters at all. The CinemaCon update signals that the studio has not stepped away from feature films, even if the approach has changed.
On television, Star Trek has also entered a period of transition. Star Trek: Starfleet Academy has been confirmed to end after its second season. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is continuing toward its planned conclusion after its multi-season run. Together, those developments reflect a franchise that is adjusting its streaming-era plans after years of expansion.

While neither series ended abruptly, the combination of planned conclusions and shifting production priorities has contributed to uncertainty about what comes next for Star Trek on television. No major new series has been announced to immediately replace the current slate at similar scale, leaving a gap in the franchise’s streaming presence.
That broader TV restructuring is the backdrop for Paramount’s latest film update. The studio did not address timelines or creative details, but the confirmation that a movie is still in development signals continued investment in Star Trek as a property, at least a theatrical one.
The direction now appears focused on rebuilding the film side independently of past iterations while the television universe remains in limbo.
For now, Star Trek’s next chapter in theaters remains without concrete details. What is clear is that the franchise is still active, even as each side of its TV and film universes move in a different direction.

The ‘Ultimate Romantic Disaster’ Movie Was Released 18 Years Ago Today
Forgetting Sarah Marshall is a hit romantic comedy that was released in 2008. It was an immediate box office success that was written by Jason Segel, who also played the lead in the film. Starring alongside him were Kristen Bell, Mila Kunis, and Russell Brand. The film was produced by Judd Apatow and directed by Nicholas Stoller.
“We’re coming up on 20 years,” Segel recently said in an interview with Vanity Fair. “It feels like a lifetime ago. We were all probably different people.”
The film follows composer Peter Bretter, who is devastated when his girlfriend dumps him. To get over her, he takes a trip to Hawaii—but ends up staying at the same resort as her and her new boyfriend.
As one reviewer on Rotten Tomatoes said, “So easy to relate to, but it's the film's unpredictable nature, great characters, and hilarious script that makes it the comedy of the year.”
Another raved, “Segel is as vulnerable on screen as any actor I can think of in recent memory, and he bookends his character's journey as a writer just perfectly. It's a funny, lovely movie, and I look forward to more from Segel.”

One of the most memorable scenes in the film involves a Dracula puppet rock opera. In real life, Segel is a fan of puppets, co-writing the script for the 2011 The Muppets film, which he also starred in. Although Forgetting Sarah Marshall is 18 years old today, there’s a chance there will be more content for fans in the future about the main character, Peter Bretter, and his puppets.
“I have an idea that I've had for a long time that I just need people to be excited about doing," Segel said in a 2023 interview with GQ. "I would like to do a special of [my Forgetting Sarah Marshall character] Peter Bretter bringing A Taste For Love to Broadway. Almost like what Lin-Manuel Miranda did with Hamilton, that special about the making of. I would love to see that, but for Peter Bretter taking the Dracula puppet musical to Broadway.”
Emily Henry Narrator Has Recorded Over 700 Audiobooks Because Workers Are ‘Notoriously Ill Paid’
Audiobooks have been gaining popularity over the last few decades. If you're a fan of them, then Julia Whelan is probably one of the voices that you've heard before. She is a professional narrator who has worked on novels written by bestselling authors like Gillian Flynn, Emily Henry, Taylor Jenkins Reid, Kristen Hannah, and Freida McFadden.
In an exclusive interview with E! News, Whelan spoke about the process of recording an audiobook, which is much more work than most readers realize. “When I get an offer for an audiobook, I don't have time to read the book ahead of time to make the decision, and the publisher doesn't have time to wait for me, so I have to just kind of go on vibes,” she explained. “Is it an author that I either know or I've always wanted to work for? Does the synopsis sound interesting?”
She went on to say, “My decision-making process really boils down to the fact that I am a book nerd who, if I read a flap, and I would pay $27 for that book, that's enough of an indication for me that I want to do it.”
Related:Best-Selling Author’s Novel Ranked One Of The 'Best Books Involving Forbidden Love'
Even though Whelan has worked on hit books that are beloved by readers, she revealed that the amount of money that narrators typically make isn’t high, especially for the amount of hours they are required to put in. "It's about four hours of work to one finished hour of audio," she explained, but they are paid based on finished runtime.
“Because audio books are notoriously ill paid, I would do 70 books a year to keep my head above water,” she said, confessing that she once recorded a new audiobook every four days or so.
In addition to the many hours it takes to prep and record, the work can also strain your voice. “I ran myself into the ground," she said. "I had a doctor say, ‘If you don't give yourself a 30-day vocal rest, I can't guarantee you're going to get your voice back.' That was the wake-up call that I needed to start prioritizing my vocal health and also mental health. It's not good to be like locked in that booth for eight hours a day—physically, mentally—in the intensity of telling these stories.”
She claims she made a change after working on her debut novel. “I wrote My Oxford Year under those conditions, almost had a breakdown and said I would not write another book until I had changed my work life," she explained. "I slowly started raising my rate and cutting back on the number of books I would do. There are a lot of narrators who have recorded way more books than I do because they're still doing it at that pace.”
Whelan has several books of her own available, including Thank You for Listening, which is a contemporary romance novel about former actress who becomes a successful audiobook narrator.
Universal Orlando Just Dropped a Deal That Makes a Weeklong Summer Vacation Actually Affordable
If you've been holding out for the perfect moment to see what all the buzz is about at the brand-new Epic Universe, your patience is about to pay off in a big way.
Universal Orlando just dropped a "Save More" vacation package that feels less like a standard discount and more like a permission slip to finally take a theme park vacation that actually feels like a vacation. By bundling a stay of five nights or longer with park tickets, you can snag up to $200 in additional bundle savings and—the real star of the show—a $300 hotel dining credit that makes those poolside cocktails and late-night snacks taste even better.

View this post on InstagramThe true magic of this deal is how it solves the classic "Orlando in the summer" struggle by essentially giving you two free days to explore. The package includes a 6-day or 7-day Park-to-Park ticket for the price of a 5-day ticket, which changes the entire math of your trip. Instead of white-knuckling your way through the midday heat because you "only have three days," staying at an on-site spot like the retro-cool Cabana Bay Beach Resort or the sleek Aventura Hotel means you are just minutes away from your home base.
You can hit the parks early to beat the crowds, then retreat to the pool when the sun is at its peak. Since those extra days are already paid for, you don't have to feel guilty about skipping out for a three-hour nap or a long lunch. You can head back to CityWalk or the parks once the sun goes down and the wait times start to dip, giving you a much more relaxed pace.

For those who want to dial up the luxury, using this bundle to stay at one of the premier resorts is a total game-changer because of the built-in perks. When you stay at a place like Portofino Bay or the Hard Rock Hotel, you get Unlimited Express Passes included for free, which essentially lets you skip the regular lines at most of your favorite rides.
Combined with the Early Park Admission that comes with this package—giving you a head start on the crowds at Epic Universe—you are looking at a trip where you spend more time actually riding coasters and less time staring at the back of someone’s shirt in a 90-minute queue.
And then there is that $300 dining credit, which is arguably the most useful part of the whole setup for a long stay. Instead of stressing over the food budget, you can use that credit to explore some of the best-themed dining in Orlando.
You could grab a quick, fresh bite at the Galaxy Bowl inside Cabana Bay or sit down for a more elevated meal at the Bar 17 Bistro on the Aventura rooftop for incredible views of the skyline. It’s the perfect excuse to lean into the "resort" part of the resort experience, whether that means a leisurely breakfast before heading to Volcano Bay or a round of appetizers to share after a long day of exploring new worlds.

Gatorade Is Launching a New Electrolyte Drink—and Its Strongest Formula in 60 Years
Gatorade is preparing to launch an all-new electrolyte beverage, inspired by the PepsiCo brand's six decades of hydration science and featuring more electrolytes than previous formulas.
Earlier this week, the iconic drink label revealed that it has big plans for 2026, some of which it has already begun, such as revamping current Gatorade formulas to use less sugar and no FD&C (artificial) colors. Going forward, the company said its goal is to refresh the way consumers view hydration.
"One of the biggest misconceptions about hydration is that it only matters for elite athletes or extreme situations," Damian Browne, senior vice president of R&D at PepsiCo Beverages U.S., suggested in an April 16 press release. "In reality, mild to moderate dehydration can build gradually across the day for most people, often without realizing it, and thirst is not always a reliable signal."
Doctors have actually begged people to stop waiting until they're thirsty to drink water, because other "weird" symptoms can creep up once dehydration kicks in, and, as Gatorade points out, it can affect everyday life in ways that don't always look like "dehydration."
Most people know that hydration is essential for overall health, with every cell from head to toe relying on it to function. Staying hydrated allows all cells to operate optimally, resulting in benefits such as better digestion, joint health, improved energy levels, and radiant skin. But what some may not realize is that experts suggest electrolyte and sports drinks like Gatorade can actually support hydration better than just plain ol' water in some cases.
Related: Gatorade Brings Back Previously Discontinued Flavor From the ‘80s for a Limited Time
"For 60 years, Gatorade has studied hydration and performance and translated those learnings into products proven to hydrate better than water alone," Mike Del Pozzo, president of PepsiCo Beverages U.S., added. "What that science has shown us is simple: everyone needs hydration, and it isn't one-size-fits-all. We believe we have a responsibility to help people understand their hydration needs, not just on game day, but across everyday wellness and performance moments."
Gatorade to Introduce 'Longer Lasting' Electrolyte Drink in 2026And with that, Gatorade said it plans to introduce the new Gatorlyte Longer Lasting later this year, with more electrolytes and hydration properties than even its Hydration Booster.
According to an official description, Gatorlyte Longer Lasting features a first-to-market proprietary electrolyte blend designed to help the body retain fluids and stay hydrated longer than water. It will be Gatorade's highest electrolyte ready-to-drink offering and was developed for activities where maintaining hydration over extended periods matters (like long travel days, demanding work shifts, or sustained physical activity).
Gatorade announces a transformational new era for its product portfolio, including new innovations and continued steps to remove artificial colors. When and Where Will the New High Electrolyte Beverage Be Available? The PepsiCo brand didn't immediately offer a specific release date, saying only that Gatorlyte Longer Lasting will begin rolling out later this year, with nationwide availability planned for 2027.
Details regarding retailers and pricing are currently unclear, but we presume the new item will be stocked at retailers that carry the original Gatorade line and its newer innovations.
