There's one shoe trend that we're so happy has come back into the picture, and that's Mary Janes— we love flats, pumps, and everything in between. The style is undeniably classic, making it a timeless wardrobe piece that will last you years, and a worthy investment. Luckily, you won't have to invest too much dough, because Amazon is selling the LifeStride True Mary Jane Pumps for up to 40% off at a 90-day low price.

The shoes initially cost customers $80, but have been reduced to as low as $48 in the black, navy, and black patent colorway. You can shop the footwear in 10 total hues, ranging from cream to dark cherry. The sizes are between 5 and 12, including half and wide sizes. Several customers went up half a size but others said that the shoes are true to size, so make sure to consult the available size chart in the product description before buying.

3, 2, 1, Blast Off! How Long Does It Actually Take To Get to the Moon?

Wed, 04/01/2026 - 6:11pm

It's hard to believe that the last manned Moon landing was way back in 1972. However, new interest in Moon travel is on the rise due to NASA's Artemis 2 mission, which is set for Apr. 1, 2026. But how long does it take to get to the Moon, exactly? We'll answer all of your questions here!

Although the astronauts will not be landing on the surface in 2026, their ten-day journey is paving the way for a future landing with Artemis 3. One of the reasons it is taking so long to have another Moon landing is the cost. (Don't worry, we'll cover how much it costs to go to the Moon as well.)

There are a lot of interesting facts on the subject, and we're taking an in-depth look at some of the most common questions about Moon travel (plus, the excitement around the two upcoming Artemis missions!).

How Long Does It Take To Get to the Moon?

On average, it takes approximately three days to get to the Moon. The shortest amount of time taken (on a manned spacecraft) was with the Apollo 8 mission, which took 69 hours and 8 minutes.

Of course, it also depends on the spacecraft used to get to the Moon. The fastest unmanned spacecraft was New Horizons, which took only 8 hours and 35 minutes.

Most recently, on November 16, 2022, Artemis 1 was launched using the Orion spacecraft. It took a total of 5 days, one hour and 10 minutes to travel to the Moon's orbit. This was just over 121 hours. Although this was slower than earlier missions, the goal wasn't speed. The mission was to test the flight systems and new technology to prepare for a manned mission in 2026.

How Long Did It Take To Go to the Moon in 1969?

The very first Moon landing happened in 1969 with the Apollo 11 mission. This was a great moment in history when astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin took those first steps on the Moon (the third astronaut on this mission, Michael Collins, remained in lunar orbit). They launched from the Kennedy Space Center on July 16, 1969, and arrived on the Moon on July 20, 1969.

The total time taken for that first journey was 75 hours and 49 minutes—just a little over three days.

How Far Away Is the Moon?

Science Photo Library/Canva

According to NASA, the distance from Earth to the Moon is about 238,855 miles. This distance changes a little with the Earth's orbit. The closest distance is 221,500 miles, and the furthest distance is 252,700 miles. The Moon is also getting about an inch further away each year. However, that's not a lot of movement when you consider that there are 63,360 inches in one mile.

How Much Does It Cost To Go to the Moon?

A trip to the Moon is not a cheap excursion. According to CBS, the Artemis program is estimated to cost nearly $93 billion by the end of 2025. Each of the first four flights will cost $4.1 billion. On top of the flight costs are the SLS rocket development program, as well as the cost of the Orion spacecraft.

Is the American Flag Still on the Moon?

Believe it or not, even though no man has walked on the Moon in over half a century, some of the planted flags are likely still there. Photos taken by the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter in 2012 confirmed that the American flags were still on the Moon at that time. There were a total of six flags put there during the Apollo missions, and the only one not there is the original flag.

Buzz Aldrin saw the flag get knocked down as they were heading back to Earth after the last mission. The spacecraft's exhaust blew it over during liftoff. Even though five of the flags could be still standing, it's believed they are extremely faded.

How Many Times Have Humans Been to the Moon?

So far, there have been six missions to the Moon. During those Apollo missions, 24 astronauts visited the Moon, and 12 of them walked on its surface.

Who Was the First Person To Walk on the Moon?

Neil Armstrong was the first person to walk on the Moon. He took those first steps in 1969.

Who Are the Astronauts Going Around the Moon in 2026?

NASA announced in early April 2023 the names of the four astronauts who will be traveling around the Moon on Artemis 2. Three of them are NASA astronauts and include Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover and Christina Hammock Koch. The other is a CSA astronaut named Jeremy Hansen.

Why Was Artemis 2 Delayed?

Although the original mission was scheduled for November 2024, unexpected erosion of the Orion's heat shield prompted NASA to delay Artemis 2. Other issues, including a problem with the rocket itself, prompted further delays. As a result, Artemis 3 has also been delayed and is now scheduled for mid-2027.

Legendary '70s Rocker Announces More Tour Dates With Stacked Lineup This Summer

Wed, 04/01/2026 - 5:58pm

Gene Simmons fans are getting a bit more of the iconic ‘70s rocker this summer.

The KISS frontman has added three dates to his solo tour this summer: July 17 in Fresno, California, July 18 in Murphys, California, and July 19 in Stateline, Nevada.

And he’s not going at it alone—Lita Ford, Sebastian Bach, and Quiet Riotwill be joining the 76-year-old on stage. All three will support Simmons for the first two dates, with just Ford and Bach joining for the Nevada show.

The added dates will accompany Simmons’ band’s already busy summer. A month before the July gigs, he’s set to perform two other shows in California at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Fresno and the Alamo Country Fair in Pleasanton. For fans who want a getaway to some warmer weather, he also has an exciting residency in Cancun this October at The Sands. Fans can get their hands on tickets now.

The added dates come off the heels of some controversial comments made by Simmons in early March. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer sparked a heated debate among fans, calling out celebrities who are open about their political preferences and comments. According to Simmons, he thinks celebrities should “shut their pie holes” when it comes to any political commentary.

The footage shows Simmons' blunt reaction to TMZ reporters' questions regardingBen Stiller’s criticism of Donald Trump, in which the actor called on the White House to remove a clip of one of his films promoting military presence in Iran on their social media.

Gene Simmons says celebrities like Ben Stiller should “shut the f**k up” about politics.

“Basically shut the f**k up. Do your art and shut up! Nobody’s interested in your opinions….who the f**k do you think you are?”

— Oli London (@OliLondonTV) March 10, 2026

“Yeah, because everyone in the world should listen to what actors and comedians say because they’re so qualified,” Simmons quipped. “Basically, shut the f**k up,” he followed up, encouraging other celebrities to “Do [their] art and shut up. Nobody’s interested in your opinions...who the f*ck do you think you are?”

Simmons remained self-aware too, in the process: “That includes me, who I vote for, who I like. People in America work hard for their living and they don’t wanna be lectured to by people who live in mansions and drive Rolls Royces.”

Randy Jackson’s Dramatic Weight Loss Over the Years—What He’s Said About His Health

Wed, 04/01/2026 - 5:47pm

Randy Jackson has undergone one of the most dramatic health transformations in television history—and it’s something fans continue to notice every time he appears on screen.

The former American Idol judge, who became a household name during the show’s early years, has been open about his weight loss journey and the lifestyle changes that helped him maintain it for nearly two decades.

So what has Jackson said about his weight loss and health over the years?

Randy Jackson’s Weight Loss Journey

Jackson first made headlines in the early 2000s after undergoing gastric bypass surgery following a diagnosis of type 2 diabetes.

At the time, he revealed the decision was driven by serious health concerns rather than appearance.

“I was having serious issues with becoming a diabetic,” he said in a 2004 interview on CBS News' The Early Show. “I really need to do something to nip this in the bud right now.”

The procedure helped him lose more than 100 pounds, dropping from over 300 pounds to the low 200s and dramatically changing his appearance during his run on American Idol.

Why He Says It Was a 'Life Choice'

Jackson has consistently emphasized that the surgery wasn’t a quick fix—but the beginning of a complete lifestyle overhaul.

“It’s a life choice because you change and alter your complete life when you do this,” he said.

He has also cautioned others about the risks involved, noting that the procedure is serious and not something he broadly recommends without careful consideration.

How He Maintained the Weight Loss

In the years since his surgery, Jackson has focused on maintaining his weight loss through long-term habits rather than short-term dieting.

“I hate the word diet,” he said in a 2022 interview with People. “I don’t use that anymore.”

Instead, he has emphasized balance, portion control and consistency—often eating smaller meals throughout the day and prioritizing overall health.

He’s also spoken about the importance of addressing the mental side of eating, calling it “behavioral psychology” that helped him avoid regaining the weight.

Because Jackson’s transformation has been so significant—and has continued to evolve over time—fans often comment on how different he looks compared to his early American Idol days. Over the years, he has appeared noticeably slimmer on such things as the new Name That Tune game show on FOX, sparking ongoing curiosity about his health and how he’s maintained his weight loss long-term.

Despite the attention, Jackson has remained focused on feeling better physically and mentally rather than chasing a specific number on the scale.

“I’m proud to know that we did something that helps me… and takes the guesswork out of it,” he said.

Yahoo Unveiled a Doom Scroll Cure-All for April Fool's — But Can You Actually Buy It?

Wed, 04/01/2026 - 5:29pm

Happy April Fool's Day to all who celebrate. Have you considered buying yourself a silly gift to make the occasion?

Yahoo continued its trend of unveiling an absurd new product on the holiday for the second year in a row, after releasing the ridiculous — and ultimately sold out — "Touch Grass" Keyboard in 2025.

This year, the longtime web company dropped a glamorous little gadget that would certainly come in hand for all the doom-scrollers out there. We all know the feeling — you pick up your phone for a "quick check," and somehow, 45 minutes have vanished into the void.

"We present to you, The Scrōll Stoppr," reads the caption of Yahoo's Instagram post on Wednesday, April 1. "Available now in the TikTok Shop."

The campaign video (see below), created in partnership with Conscious Minds, shows in up-close detail just how the nifty contraption works.

View this post on Instagram

Fans seem eager to get their hands on at least one to help cut down on time wasted scrolling through our phones' countless, addicting mobile apps. "NEED THIS," one Instagram user commented on Yahoo's clever post, while another person wrote, "I need one for all fingers rn."

In basic terms, the delightfully absurd finger accessory physically blocks your thumb from touching your phone screen, stopping the scroll before it even starts.

“From Mail to Finance to Sports and more, our products are built to help you accomplish your goals, not go down rabbit holes,” said Kemma Kefalas, head of Creative Lab at Yahoo, in a statement. “The Scrōll Stoppr is a delightfully absurd reminder that sometimes the best way to take back your time is to quite literally stop the scroll!”

The rumors are true, by the way: The Scrōll Stoppr is available for purchase while supplies last on Yahoo TikTok Shop for $4.99, delivered in a box that plays the nostalgic Yahoo signature yodel. And yes, it really works — at least when it comes to stopping scrolling!

Costco Shoppers Over 40 Say This New Fitness Find Transforms Their Daily Walks

There's a new Costco find getting a lot of attention in the fitness aisle, and it's not a treadmill or a protein powder. Shoppers say it's simple, affordable and surprisingly powerful. Some even claim it has completely changed their daily walks.

If you're someone who walks the dog every morning or likes to squeeze in steps after dinner, this might be worth a closer look.

User @costconewdeals shared that Costco is now carrying a 12-pound weighted vest from Nautilus for just $27.99, and shoppers over 40 are especially excited about it. The vest is designed to add resistance to everyday movement, whether you're walking, running or doing bodyweight workouts at home.

As we get older, it's normal to lose some muscle mass and bone density. This process can start as early as your thirties and tends to speed up over time. That's one reason many people are looking for easy ways to support their health without adding intense workouts to their schedule.

A weighted vest adds extra load to movements you're already doing. When you wear it while walking, your body has to work a little harder. Shoppers say that small change makes a big difference.

People report feeling stronger in their legs and core after adding a weighted vest to their routine. Others say it helps them stay more aware of their posture because the extra weight encourages better alignment. Some also like that it can increase calorie burn during a regular walk without requiring more time at the gym.

What to Know Before Adding It to Your Routine

The Nautilus weighted vest at Costco is 12 pounds, which may be a good starting point for many adults. If you have concerns about your knee, shoulder or back, it's smart to check with a medical professional before trying one.

Shoppers say they love using the vest for neighborhood walks, treadmill sessions and quick at-home workouts. Some even pair it with other popular Costco finds like the vibration board for a full routine focused on strength and health.

At under $30, this Costco find feels like a low-risk way to level up your daily steps. If you've been looking for a simple upgrade to your walking routine, this weighted vest might be the fitness boost you didn't know you needed.

‘Love on the Spectrum’ Season 4: Where Is Tanner Now?

Wed, 04/01/2026 - 5:23pm

Tanner Smith was first introduced on Love on the Spectrum in season 2. He lived with a roommate in Clemson, South Carolina. Tanner, now 27, went on his first date and continued dating the next season.

He wasn't a main character in season 4, which might disappoint fans. Here is what he did while away from the Netflix series.

Who Is Tanner Smith of Love on the Spectrum Dating? Tanner on 'Love on the Spectrum'

Netflix

The social butterfly is the brand ambassador for an app called Wable. It's an app for neurodivergent people to meet, make friends, or date. Tanner and his sister, Madelyn (Midge) Smith appeared at Wable's speed dating events together.

Tanner continued posting on his YouTube account after last season. He has a series called "Tanner Tries" and he recently tried nursing, pilates, TikTok recipes, and more. The YouTuber also reads books with his series "Tanner's Tales."

He's close to Connor Tomlinson from the show. They had a vlog of them riding around Atlanta last July. This is because Connor, 26, records car rides on his own YouTube channel, Car Rides With Connor.

Love on the Spectrum fans last saw Tanner on a date with Callie last season. They laughed at jokes, and Tanner called her hot. He didn't go on dates in season 4. But he appeared in the finale.

Tanner revealed to other cast members that he's single and just friends with Callie. However, viewers got to see Tanner happy to be with Tyler White and called him his best friend.

"I'm too busy to think about getting married," he told Tyler. He also isn't dating. Perhaps Tanner will return when he has time again to date.

Love on the Spectrum Season 4 is available now on Netflix.

'The Valley' Cast Teases 'Messy' Season 3 as New Tensions Emerge Within the Group (Exclusive)

Wed, 04/01/2026 - 5:21pm

There’s no shortage of drama on The Valley—even without Jax Taylor at the center of it.

Ahead of Season 3, the cast spoke exclusively with Parade about what fans can expect following Jax's exit in July 2025, when he stepped away to focus on his sobriety and mental health. “There’s petty drama, not dark drama,” Jesse Lally said, hinting at a return to the show’s original vibe, even as tensions from last season continue to carry over.

Jesse’s ex-wife, Michelle Saniei, agreed things feel different this time around, but not necessarily easier as they continue to navigate their coparenting dynamic. "I was going through the beginning, middle of our divorce and some other challenges,” she said of last year. “But [this season is] definitely lighter overall.”

Though, Jesse’s girlfriend, Lacey Nicole, officially joins the show this season after initially opting not to film so early on in their relationship. She and Michelle didn't have the best relationship last time we saw them interact on screen. 'I’m only telling half of my story if she doesn’t join,” Jesse explained. Lacey said she ultimately decided to participate for her own reasons. “Selfishly, my ego—I want to defend myself,” she told Parade.

Surprisingly, most of the cast had nothing but great things to say about Jesse's new love, and welcomed her into the group. Lacey said Jasmine Goode, Kristen Doute and Zack Wickham, in particular, were all “immediately super kind” to her. Michelle maintains that her conversations with Lacey have been inconsistent. “I’ve just had different type of interactions with her, so it’s kind of hard to grasp and understand,” she said.

Meanwhile, Janet Caperna admitted there were “definitely some awkward moments” going into filming following the fallout from her allegations against Danny Booko. Still, she said her goal was simply to coexist. “My goal was… let’s be able to at least be in the same room, have fun together,” she said.

But that may be easier said than done. "It’s not fun to go film with people who you’re not getting along with,” her husband, Jason Caperna, said, adding that everyone is trying to “chip away” at lingering issues over time.

And while the drama may be more “petty” this season, that doesn’t mean it’s low stakes. In fact, some cast members say things escalate to dangerous proportions. Janet even described parts of the season as feeling like “a medical drama,” with “ambulances” and “emergency rooms” involved, while Jason revealed he suffers a “pretty serious injury” at one point.

At the same time, Taylor’s absence has shifted the focus away from one central figure and onto the group as a whole. “I think it was refreshing to not have him in the picture,” Michelle said of the Vanderpump Rules alum. “We could talk about other things and learn even more about each couple and each person.”

Fellow VPR stars Tom Schwartz and Lala Kent also join the show this season, bringing new energy to the group. “I feel like I’ve really come into my own… it feels like a rebirth,” Schwartz told Parade.

The Valley premieres on Bravo tonight, April 1 at 8/7c.

9 Traits of Parents Whose Adult Kids Call Them ‘Just Because,’ Psychologists Reveal

Wed, 04/01/2026 - 5:21pm

Michael B. Jordan, Ryan Gosling, Leonardo DiCaprio. All these Hollywood men are famous for two things: their acting abilities and bringing their moms as dates to award shows. Now, we can't all be so lucky as to have kids nominated for Oscars, but I know some parents who would give up a golden statue if it meant getting a call from their adult child “just because.” (Though, I'm guessing those actors also call their parents from time to time.)

When an adult child reaches out “just because,” they do so without an agenda—no major news to deliver or favors to ask; the kind of call you might receive from a longtime friend or neighbor. It might sound simple, but an unprompted call is a sign that your child wants to nurture your connection. But adult children don't just get up one day with a burning desire to call their parents—that kind of behavior is entirely dependent on the relationship you've built over their entire lives.

So, what are some traits of parents whose adult kids call them “just because,” and how can you adapt them into your own parenting style? Parade spoke to experts Dr. Meera Khan, PhD, PsyD, a psychologist at LifeStance Health, and Dr. Kathryn Smerling, a family psychologist, to find out.

Related: Psychologist Says These Are the 7 Habits To Avoid With Your Adult Child—and Why They Can Damage Your Relationship

Why Do Some Grown-up Children Call Their Parents Without Needing Anything, While Others Don’t?

There are a few factors that contribute to why some adult kids call their parents without needing anything, while others don't. For one thing, it depends on your communication style. Just because an adult kid doesn't call to talk on the phone doesn't mean they don't want to communicate.

“There are some people that just don't like to talk on the phone,” Dr. Smerling tells Parade, adding that they might instead prefer to text or even send a little emoji, something she calls “a little connection without being intrusive.”

Communication preferences aside, Dr. Kahn says that having an adult child who calls “just because” is all about the “individual dynamics between kids and their parents.” In other words, it's about the bond parents built with their children from birth. Dr. Smerling agrees.

“It's all about the relationship,” she states. “If you have a relationship in which you share things with your parents and you get comfort from speaking to your parents, then you call. If your parents have been an obstacle to you growing up or finding yourself, you stay away.”

9 Traits of Parents With Adult Children Who Call Them ‘Just Because,' According to Psychologists

LightFieldStudios/Getty Images

1. They're curious

An adult kid will only call “just because” if they think their parent is actually interested in them, so curiosity in a child's life is something parents should consider showing early and often.

“You have to see what your children's interests are,” Dr. Smerling says, adding that parents also have to respond positively to what their children are interested in. “Let's say your child is not particularly athletic, and you keep pushing that child to be athletic. There's certainly going to be a resentment that will happen later in life.”

“Show an interest in their lives,” Dr. Khan agrees. “This is a sign the parents have fostered a culture of openness and nonjudgmentalness with their kids, which is less likely to result in conflict.”

2. They practice non-intrusive parenting

It's hard to keep your opinions to yourself in any situation, but in this case, it's actually good to sometimes hold your tongue and practice some non-intrusive parenting.

According to Dr. Smerling, a lot of parents with adult children “feel as though they have ultimate control over their kids,” which can lead to crossing boundaries that make their adult children uncomfortable. Instead, she suggests practicing non-intrusive parenting, which she describes as “active listening without offering your opinions.”

3. They don't judge

“Why would you want to call someone if you know they're going to judge you? You don't. You wouldn't,” Dr. Smerling notes, adding that adult kids need to feel secure and accepted before they decide to call just because.

Being non-judgmental helps foster a feeling of safety, which she says is key to making an adult child feel secure and accepted.

“You have to give your child enough of a birth so that they can express themselves freely without feeling as though they're being judged,” she shares.

4. They're respectful

This might feel a bit redundant, but it's worth repeating that parents whose adult kids call them “just because” aren't just tolerant of their kids; they respect them.

“Mutually respectful dynamics allow for trust building and sharing,“ Dr. Khan says.

Related: Psychologist Says if You Have These 8 Habits, You Are Highly Emotionally Mature

5. They don't project themselves onto their children

Judgment can happen when parents don't see their kids for who they are, but who they want them to be. But both Dr. Khan and Dr. Smerling agree that projection isn't exactly conducive to a healthy relationship with an adult child.

“Good parenting comes from moving with your kids developmentally and giving them room to individuate,” says Dr. Khan.

“Your child is not yourself,” Dr. Smerling shares. “You birthed the child, or you adopted the child, or you're stepparent to the child, but you are not the child. You are not that person. You have to be able to separate and individuate.”

6. They encourage independence with parallel play

“I always feel as though parallel play is a very useful thing," advises Dr. Smerling. “That's when two people are playing in the same sandbox, if you will, but you're doing your own thing.”

Parallel play can help your kids feel like equals in this parent-child relationship, which significantly ups the chances of calling just because.

7. They foster a secure attachment style

Dr. Smerling notes that fostering a secure attachment style can help an adult child be independent while still feeling close to their parents.

"It's being attached and knowing that your parents are there for you no matter what,” she explains. “But it's also having enough independence to be able to let your child go.”

This might sound like the opposite of what you want, but the key is making sure that you remain a safe space for your child even as they grow into adulthood. Ideally, a secure attachment style will make adult children want to seek comfort in their parents.

8. They let go of traditional expectations and prioritize reciprocal relationships

Some parents feel strongly that their children should always be the ones to call; now might be a good idea to start setting that expectation aside.

“That's a very traditional notion of how things should be, that when you're out of the house, you're the one that has to reach out,” Dr. Smerling says, adding that what she thinks is really valuable is creating a “reciprocal relationship,” another factor in whether or not kids call just because. "Letting go of goals and making your own version of what an adult, or two adult-adult, is like," she notes.

Reciprocal relationships make a child feel more independent and free from judgment, which therefore makes them more likely to give you a ring as adults.

“You have to give your child options, but you don't have to give your child weighted options or say, ‘This is what has to happen,’” she expands.

9. They call *their* parents just because

No two parent-child relationships are the same, but if you want your kid to know that it's possible for an adult child to call their parent out of the blue for no particular reason, you might want to consider modeling the behavior yourself. Granted, this depends on your own relationship with your parents, but if you are willing and able, calling your parents "just because" can have a huge influence on your child.

“It affects the child deeply,” Dr. Smerling shares when asked how important modeling this behavior can be. “If they see a strong attachment to your own parents, they will have that strong attachment to you as well, very often.”

How To Strengthen Your Relationship With Your Adult Kids

Both psychologists agree that strengthening your relationship with your adult kids is dependent on how you show up for them.

“Show an interest in their lives,” says Dr. Khan. “Allow them to be their full selves, even if that looks different than what you might do or would want them to do. Show up for them fully despite those differences.”

Dr. Smerling adds that a great way to strengthen your relationship with adult children is to include them in planning a get-together.

“It's ‘Would you like to go to the theater? What are some of the things that you like to do? I'd like to do something that you enjoy doing,’” she suggests. “Instead of just superimposing what you want to do on your kids, you ask them and include them in the decision-making, because very often, when people have skin in the game, they're going to have a better time.”

If you can't do activities in person, you can still create that sense of active participation in the relationship with an occasional text message.

“You are making sure that even though the person is not with you physically, that emotionally you're thinking of them and you want them to be okay and to be with people they're happy with,” Dr. Smerling says.

Wed, 04/01/2026 - 5:07pm

Tim McGraw’s 2004 Grammy-winning tearjerker, “Live Like You Were Dying,” is his biggest hit to date. It’s also ranked the best Tim McGraw song of all time by Taste of Country.

Recorded at Allaire Studios and released as the lead single from McGraw’s eighth studio album, the track, written by Tim Nichols and Craig Wiseman, encourages living life to the fullest. But its origin hits even deeper.

In a conversation with Matthew McConaughey on McGraw’s Apple Music Country show, Beyond the Influence Radio, McGraw shared that the song made its way to him during a traumatic time involving his father, baseball great Tug McGraw, who was battling glioblastoma brain cancer. The country star co-produced the track while he and his family were processing their grief

“About three in the morning, I said, ‘It’s time to do this song,’” McGraw recalls. “We spent three hours recording, and my Uncle Hank collapsed crying on the couch every take.”

Released in June 2004 and dedicated to his father, the song’s lyrics — “And I loved deeper and I spoke sweeter / And I gave forgiveness I'd been denyin’” — resonate all the more.

Winner of Grammy, CMA, and ACM Awards, “Live Like You Were Dying” spent seven nonconsecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, remains McGraw’s longest-leading hit, and sits atop Taste of Country’s “Top 50 Tim McGraw Songs” list, surpassing classics like "Please Remember Me" and "I Like It, I Love It."

Which National Park Matches Your Soul, Based on Birth Month

Wed, 04/01/2026 - 5:02pm

When it comes to planning a getaway that’s equal parts stimulating and thrilling, there’s no better destination than a national park. Stunning, preserved land speckled all across the country has something to offer just about every traveler.  Whether you’re a fan of serene, super-quiet locations that fuel self-reflection or eye-catching landscapes that blow your mind and inspire you to dive into an artistic outlet, there’s a national park that suits your perspective and personality. And for a sense of your M.O., look no further than your birth month, which speaks to how you see yourself, your identity, and your sense of purpose.

The Great Smoky Mountains is one of the most popular national parks in America.

Which National Park Is a Must-Visit, Based on Your Birth MonthJanuary: Glacier National Park

If you were born during January, the sun was moving through down-to-earth, hardworking Capricorn or eccentric, community-minded Aquarius. Both signs are ruled by Saturn, the planet of commitment, and have an innate appreciation for not only nature but wildlife sights of the rugged variety, and this northern Montana-located national park, nicknamed the “Crown of the Continent,” has plenty of that to offer. Take your pick of glaciers, valleys, granite peaks, and a stunning array of mountain scenery. You can also spot grizzly and black bears — a rarity that might appeal to your Aquarian desire to see and do something out of the ordinary.

February: Isle Royale National Park

If you were born when the sun was spending time in either contrarian, rebellious Aquarius or artistic, unique Pisces, you’re unique, a dreamer, and sometimes, an escapist. That echoes the vibe of a trip to this remote archipelago on Lake Superior in Michigan, which is thought to provide a truly rugged experience. Made up of almost 450 islands, it’s a perfect destination for someone who loves hiking, wildlife, and stargazing — all activities that appeal to those born in February's poetic spirit.

RELATE?: Your Soul Travel Destination, Based on Birth Month

March: Grand Teton National Park

If you were born in March, the sun was either in dreamy water sign Pisces or go-getter, fiery Aries, so you’ll do best to steer toward a park that offers plenty of adventurous and water-related excursions. For the Mars-ruled Aries adventurer, Grand Teton allows you to escape modern times via Old West-style preserved homesteads. You might also enjoy Jackson Hole Wildlife Safaris. And imaginative Piscean people will appreciate the many opportunities to go fly fishing, rafting, or even nurture mind, body, and spirit at a luxury resort called Amangani, where there’s a notable spa and wellness program and farm-to-table restaurant.

April: Acadia National Park

If you were born when the sun was moving through either action-oriented Aries or down-to-earth, sensual Taurus, you appreciate making the most of the moment and taking in stunning, awe-inspiring sights, and this national park in coastal Maine has plenty of that to offer. Whether you’re tapping into an Aries sense of adventure or a Taurean love of beauty and serenity, you’ll fall head over heels for Acadia’s forested mountains, granite beaches, peaceful ponds, and lakes. People born in April will also have their pick of hiking trails or carriage trails where they can bike, walk, or connect with their inner equestrian.

May: Yosemite National Park

If you were born in May, the sun was moving through either slow, steady Taurus or buzzy, social Gemini, so you’re someone who has very diverse interests and would ideally love to visit a national park alongside family or a group of friends. Look no further than Yosemite, which covers nearly 3,500 square miles — mainly in Wyoming as well as parts of Idaho and Montana. Yosemite Valley, which spans eight miles from east to west and has granite walls that are double the height of the Empire State Building, is one of the world’s natural wonders. Perhaps the most iconic national park for a reason, it has something for every visitor. You can hike the Mist Trail, visit Tunnel View, raft the Merced River, or view  interactive exhibits at the Yosemite Exploration Center & Theater.

June: Joshua Tree National Park

You were born with your sun in curious Gemini or caregiving Cancer, you’re a fun-loving,  lifelong learner who is always on a mission to find creative inspiration. California’s national park, which boasts sunny skies almost year round, offers wide open vistas and the opportunity to soak up nature’s beauty in a way that can’t help but nurture your spirit and artistic impulses. People born in June also tend to be quite family-oriented, so you’ll appreciate that the park has easy, kid- and/or senior-friendly hiking trails and an engaging educational program.

July: Zion National Park

Your sun is in either family-oriented, heartfelt Cancer or dynamic, spotlight-loving Leo, making you someone who radiates sunshine and craves warmth, adventure, and intimacy. The approximately 150,000-acre park in southwestern Utah might appeal to your love of the dramatic and desire for artistic inspiration, as you’ll be able to take in heartstopping colors in the cliffs of Zion. Its canyon is also awe-inspiring and gasp-worthy, and you won’t regret experiencing sunrise or sunset from Bryce Canyon. People born in July might enjoy the glamour of premiere cabins and farm-to-table dining at the only lodging spot within the confines of the park: Zion Mountain Ranch.

FUN!: Your European Soul City, Based on Birth Date

August: Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park

Whether you were born when the sun was in leadership-oriented, warm fire sign Leo or hardworking, intuitive earth sign Virgo, you take a lot of pride in planning vacations that will go down in history as truly memorable, enriching, even personal growth-spurring. A spot that fits the bill: Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park, located on the Big Island, which serves up some of the best volcano-viewing on the planet. You can take in two volcanoes — Mauna Loa and Kīlauea — as well as the Pacific Ocean coastline, alpine terrain, rainforests, and cultural activities like astronomy talks and local artists’ presentations. Any of these options appeals to those born in August, who love stepping outside of the mundane and learning something extraordinary and new.

September: Olympic National Park

Born under either service-oriented, nature goddess-esque earth sign Virgo or beauty-and balance-adoring Libra, you’re quite sensitive to your surroundings and therefore know just how much value there is in being in a spot rich in tranquil beauty. Enter Olympic National Park in Washington state, which is home to a wildly serenity-inducing, lush, green Hoh Rainforest, alpine highlands, gorgeous lakeshores, waterfalls, and 73 miles of pristine Pacific coastline. As someone who pours their heart into connecting with someone special, people born in September find there are just about a bazillion ways to do that in this practically otherworldly, romantic destination.

October: Crater Lake National Park

During your birth month, the sun moves through partnership-oriented, balance-seeking Libra and emotionally astute, powerful Scorpio, making you someone who craves and finds it easy to connect with others one-on-one. You’d enjoy bringing your significant other or someone special along with you to this romantic, Oregon-based national park, which centers on a stunning body of water that’s the deepest lake in the U.S. (quite therapeutic for Scorpionic folks) and is a great spot for fishing, swimming, hiking, dining at Crater Lake Lodge, or stargazing. People born in October will feel at home here.

FURTHER: Your Soul City, Based on Birth Month

November: Rocky Mountain National Park

Whether you were born under fearless, spooky season-loving Scorpio or adventurous, bold Sagittarius, you believe in going all out if you’re going to visit a national park, so what better destination than one that’s considered a must-visit? November-borns enjoy documenting their travels, you’ll have your pick of a wide variety of wildlife to observe and photograph — from black bears to moose, marmots, beavers, and elk. And if you want to tap into your innate love of eeriness, you can visit the Stanley, a hotel built in 1909 that inspired The Shining and even offers a night spirit tour.

December: Grand Canyon National Park

Born with your sun in either wanderlust-fueled Sagittarius or rock steady, ambitious Capricorn, you believe in going big or going home, which is why this massive Arizona park is right up your alley. The canyon measures 277 miles from east to west and is one mile deep from the rim to the Colorado River. It also boasts 1.8 billion years of geology, and its mind-blowing colors, forests, vistas, hiking trails, historic hotels, and a variety of other experiences that offer something for just about anyone. Those born in December will feel immense gratitude for this glorious natural treasure.

Is ‘The Masked Singer’ Renewed for Season 15? What We Know So Far

Wed, 04/01/2026 - 4:58pm

As The Masked Singer wraps up its season 14 finale, many viewers are already wondering what’s next for the hit FOX competition.

Here’s what we know so far.

Is ‘The Masked Singer’ Renewed for Season 15?

As of now, FOX has not officially announced whether The Masked Singer has been renewed for season 15. The network has also not publicly confirmed whether the show will return later in 2026 or follow a different schedule moving forward.

Why the Schedule Changed

For its entire run up, The Masked Singer aired two seasons per calendar year—one in the spring and one in the fall. That pattern ran from 2019 through 2024.

However, in 2025, FOX shifted its strategy and aired only one season, which ran from February to May. The show then took a break and did not return until season 14 premiered in early 2026.

Related: Meet the Cast Competing on ‘The Masked Singer’ Season 14

At the time, FOX executives said the decision was intentional.

“A lot of people forget that Masked Singer was actually the first show back during Covid,” FOX Entertainment CEO Rob Wade told reporters in May 2025 (via Deadline).

“My point is it was incredibly taxing on that crew and that cast and they’ve done a phenomenal job… It just felt like the right time to give the show and the very, very hardworking people involved in it a little bit of breathing space just to regroup creatively.”

Wade added that the network has not ruled out returning to two seasons per year in the future.

“But it’s not intended at the moment just to become a one season a year. But we’ll make a decision on that as it comes up," said the executive.

Could There Be Another 'Masked Singer' Season in 2026?

Because FOX has not confirmed a renewal yet, it’s unclear whether The Masked Singer will return for another cycle later in 2026. In the past, renewal announcements have sometimes come before the finale airs or shortly after the season ends

That means a season 15 announcement could still happen soon, even if it hasn’t been confirmed yet.

While FOX has not made an official announcement, The Masked Singer remains one of the network’s most consistent unscripted performers.

The show has been a staple of FOX’s lineup since its debut in 2019 and continues to draw a dedicated audience. Although the first few seasons averaged between 6 and 8 million viewers, all seasons since season 7 have averaged under 4 million viewers per episode, which is obviously a large fall-off but the show has stayed relatively consistent over those seven seasons, so there's no reason to think the show won't be renewed by FOX.

That track record suggests the series is still a strong candidate for renewal, even as the network adjusts its scheduling strategy.

‘Bob’s Burgers’ Star Dragged From Fiery Crash — Video Shows Blaze

Wed, 04/01/2026 - 4:54pm

Eugene Mirman, the voice of Gene Belcher on the award-winning animated series Bob’s Burgers, has been hospitalized after being dragged from a fiery car crash.

TMZ, who was first to report the news, has shared that Mirman was in Bedford, New Hampshire, yesterday morning, March 31, when his 2026 Lucid Gravity struck the Everett Turnpike’s Bedford Toll Plaza then exploded into flames.

Images and video footage published by WMUR local news show Mirman’s electric car totaled and on fire with pitch-black smoke filling the sky.

According to a press release from police, the voice actor was stuck inside the car in the driver’s seat before several witnesses including a veteran State Trooper assigned to Gov. Kelly Ayotte’s security detail pulled Mirman through the car window to safety.

Mirman, 51, of Massachusetts, was then transported to Elliot Hospital in the area with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. His condition today is not yet clear.

"Certainly, their actions were heroic in what they did,” Col. Mark Hall said in a statement. “Without hesitation, they put themselves in danger to render aid to someone who was in need of it.”

Mirman, a comedian and actor, has lent his voice the stout character of Gene, the Belchers' son, on the animated series since its debut in 2011. He has also appeared in series like Last Week Tonight With John Oliver and Teenage Euthanasia, as well as in films including Confess, Fletch and The Bob's Burgers Movie.

This story is unfolding.

Tiger Woods Gets Approval From Judge To Leave the Country for Treatment Due to ‘Privacy’ Concerns

Wed, 04/01/2026 - 4:47pm

Tiger Woods has the permission of a Florida judge to leave the United States to seek treatment following his car accident and arrest for DUI.

The legendary golfer, 50, was granted permission to leave Florida, according to court documents obtained and reviewed by PEOPLE. According to the documents, the athlete's physician made the recommendation that he leave the country "based upon the Defendant's complex clinical presentation, the urgent need for a level of care that cannot safely or effectively be done within the United States."

The recommendation that Woods seek treatment out of the U.S. was also based on the idea that his "privacy has been repeatedly compromised."

"Ongoing medical scrutiny and public exposure create significant barriers to his care and would result in setbacks and an inability to fully engage in treatment," Woods' lawyer, Douglas Duncan, argued in the filing, the piece continued.

"Based upon Defendant's treating physician's opinions, inpatient treatment at the out-of-country treatment facility is medically necessary due to the Defendant's complexity, and need for an intensive, highly individualized and medically integrated program," the documents continued.

The documents went on to say that Woods will have no restrictions on travel as he faces the DUI charge and a charge for refusal to submit to a urine test, both of which he pleaded not guilty to on March 31, according to the documents.

The treatment facility, which will be located outside of the country, will "provide continuous monitoring and the ability to rapidly adjust treatment interventions in a highly controlled environment," Duncan continued.

When Was Tiger Woods in a Car Accident?

On March 27, Woods was involved in a rollover car crash when his Land Rover rolled over after he "overtook" a pressure-cleaning truck that was pulling a small trailer, Sheriff John M. Budensiek said in a press conference on Friday, PEOPLE noted.

Police administered a breathalyzer test on the scene, and Woods "blew triple zeros." However, he refused to take a urinalysis exam at the jail. According to the police affidavit obtained by PEOPLE, Martin County Sheriff's Office deputies allegedly found two hydrocodone pills in his left pants pocket.

What Did Tiger Woods Say After the Accident?

Woods finally broke his silence on March 31 in a statement posted to his Twitter/X page.

"I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today," Woods said in a post. "I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health. This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery," Woods continued. "I'm committed to taking the time needed to return in a healthier, stronger, and more focused place, both personally and professionally. I appreciate your understanding and support, and ask for privacy for my family, loved ones, and myself at this time."

These Sweet and Tangy Costco Gems Have Shoppers Hooked

Wed, 04/01/2026 - 4:16pm

If you love kiwis but hate peeling them before you eat them, Costco has a solution for you!

And yes, I know the skin is healthy and filled with vitamins, but I just personally can't get over the texture.

Honestly, even if you do eat regular kiwis, skin and all, the latest Costco gem is still something worth exploring, considering how many are raving about the taste and convenience.

Costco shoppers are buzzing about the tiny fruit taking grocery aisles by storm, and it might just become your new favorite snack this spring.

We're talking about Costco's fresh produce find that's sweet, tangy, bite-sized and ready-to-eat, leaving shoppers officially hooked—Kiwiberries!

A closer look reveals the superfruit is produced by Munch'n from New Zealand, with the return only lasting a short while before they're out of season (much like the beloved Sumo citrus).

The fruit delivers on the big flavor of kiwis, but is small enough to just pop in your mouth, according to influencer Costco Guide, making them the perfect healthy snack when you're on the go.

Admittedly, they are a bit on the pricier side, as a 1-lb box retails for about $13.99, it's jam-packed with enough to feed the family or to be added to any Easter fruit and cheese platters. These could be your special occasion, once-in-a-while treat!

View this post on Instagram

The taste is right in the middle of sweet and sour, as one user likened them to if a "kiwi and a grape had a baby."

Are KiwiBerries Healthy?

Not only are they super tasty, but there are plenty of nutritional benefits. The National Library of Medicine called them a superfood, as the fruit contains essential minerals like potassium, calcium and zinc, and is high in antioxidants like vitamin C and phenolics.

How to Eat KiwiBerries?

Just pop 'em in your motuh!

"Pro tip: if you buy them and they’re hard, set them out on the kitchen for a few days until they get soft. When they’re hard, they’re sour and acidic but when they get soft, they become super sweet," one advised on Reddit.

They are not GMO. Despite their mini appearance, which makes many believe that they are, they are a naturally occurring variety of kiwi.

How Long Does the KiwiBerries Season Last?

The season for kiwiberries is a lot shorter than it is for kiwis, so they are often a limited find.

Many are imported around March and April, though they may have higher price points. While they may be available year-round, their peak is in the late summer, as Berries ripen in late July, with the harvest sometimes extending into late October.

However, if you're one of the lucky ones who stumble upon them right now at your local Costco, grab a pack for yourself and discover why these bite-sized fruits are winning over snack lovers everywhere!

Nancy Guthrie Update: Investigation Hits 2 Months & Former FBI Agent Weighs in on What Happens Next (Exclusive)

Wed, 04/01/2026 - 3:44pm

Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie‘s mom, Nancy Guthrie, is still missing two months after she was abducted from her Tucson, Ariz., home—and a former FBI agent just weighed in on what happens next.

On the two-month mark since Nancy, 84, went missing, retired FBI special agent Jason Pack spoke with Parade about the case.

🎬 SIGN UP for Parade’s Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬

Pack, who is not involved in the investigation, pointed out, "The absence of a named suspect does not mean the absence of progress."

"The most consequential investigative work almost never happens in front of a camera," he explained. "Right now, investigators are sitting on months of subpoena returns, lab results, financial records and digital forensics.'

Additionally, the retired FBI agent noted that Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos confirmed that investigators believe they know why Nancy was targeted. "That is not a throwaway statement," he said. "They have a direction."

"The DNA recovered from the property that does not match Nancy or anyone in her circle is still one of the biggest threads left to pull," Pack continued. "When CODIS does not return a hit, investigators turn to genetic genealogy. That science broke the Golden State Killer case. It has cracked cases far colder than this one."

Nancy was last seen at her Catalina Foothills residence on the evening of Jan. 31, with the Pima County Sheriff's Department (with the FBI joining) embarking on its search on Feb. 1. As of writing, the 84-year-old remains missing, and no suspect has been named—despite Savannah offering a $1 million reward for information that leads to finding Nancy.

In late March, Savannah gave her first interview since the disappearance of her mother. She also announced that she would return to Today on April 6.

“When times are hard, you want to be with your family. And I want to be with my family," the NBC morning show co-host said of her colleagues. "And so I don’t know if I can do it. I don’t know if I’ll belong anymore, but I would like to try. I would like to try.”

Savannah concluded, “I’m not going to be the same. But maybe it’s like that old poem: ‘More beautiful in the broken places.’”

Godiva is giving fans of a viral flavor combination two new limited-edition chocolate bars, and if past releases tell us anything, this drop is going to go fast.

Last summer, at the height of the Dubai Chocolate trend, the cult-favorite chocolatier debuted its own version of the beloved treat in several overseas markets to great applause. While Tesco shoppers in the United Kingdom, along with fans in Australia and Malaysia bit into the Belgian company's take on the viral dessert, the treat wasn't made so widely available in the United States—until now.

As the popularity of the treat continues to surger—with Baskin-Robbins and Cold Stone Creamery also launching versions of the sweet this week—Godiva revealed on Wednesday that it would be launching not one but two new chocolate bars inspired by the "global sensation" at major retailers nationwide for a limited time.

Godiva Unveils New Dubai Chocolate-Inspired Bars

Despite the announcement coming on April 1, it's by not means an April Fools' Day joke. A spokesperson for the brand promises Godiva's new Dark Chocolate Pistachio & Kadayif and Milk Chocolate Pistachio & Kunafah bars are real and both feature its signature chocolate with crunchy pistachios and crispy kadayif pieces for an "irresistible, deeply satisfying bite."

The new Dark Chocolate Pistachio & Kadayif bar was inspired by the "rich and vibrant" flavors of the Middle East, according to an official description, which suggests it brings together rich and bold dark chocolate with the indulgent taste of pistachio and the delicate crunch of crispy, golden kadayif.

Godvia's new Milk Chocolate Pistachio & Kunafah Bar is said to be "decadent, distinctive, and delicious." It combines smooth, velvety milk chocolate with the indulgent taste of pistachio and crunchy, crispy, golden kadayif.

Each bar measures 4.3 ounces and they are both made in Turkey. Should Godiva be using the same recipe as when it launched its Dubai Chocolate internationally, fans are in luck—reviewers have said it's "pretty good."

Godiva said both of its Dubai Chocolate-inspired bars will be available to purchase in stores nationwide as well as and online. Those who prefer to pick up a sweet treat in person can find the new premium offerings at major retailers like CVS and Kohl's (prices may vary). Both varieities can also be purchased and will be online via the official Godiva website ($12.99 each) or Amazon (also $12.99 per bar).
