‘Sister Wives’ Star Shares Hopeful Message After Devastating Home Accident
A star of TLC's Sister Wives shared a hopeful message after a devastating accident turned their lives upside down weeks after moving into their dream home.
Maddie Brown Brush shared the story of a flood inside the new home she built alongside her husband, Caleb Brush. The incident caused a mess within her kitchen, and the couple scrambled to clean up the unexpected disaster.
After discovering the flood was caused by a faulty dishwasher plumbing line, Brush took to her Instagram story to explain how her family tackled the problem. She also shared how leaning on family helped them stay positive through the messy ordeal.
On March 22, she shared a photo on Instagram that showed her family members gathered on her front porch. Their support was invaluable during this difficult week.

Brush wrote, "This is what I hoped for. This was my lemonade."
View this post on Instagram"After a hellish week of flooding dishwasher and crazy water filters, today was a reminder of what I needed! It was a reminder of what we are hoping to build! Cheers to amazing siblings!"
Brush cited sisters Mykelti Brown Padron, her husband Tony Padron, her sister Savannah Brown, and brother Paedon Brown. She thanked them for helping her "finish out the week with productivity and positivity." Also in the photo was Brush's mother, Janelle Brown.
Fans reacted to Maddie putting a positive spin on a challenging experience. They shared their remarks in the photo's comments.
"What a beautiful pic. Family is where the heart is," shared one follower.
A second wrote, "The end, and a new beginning! Perfect! So happy to see you all together."
However, a third follower found the image ironic. "Well, ain’t this ironic. Robyn, eat your heart out. There’s the big porch with the rockers and the grandbabies. That’s because it’s where the love is."
The fan cited a statement Robyn Brown made on a Sister Wives episode during Season 18. She expressed her wishes for a family compound where she sat on rocking chairs on a porch with her sister wives, as she shared her disappointment over the ending of her plural marriage dream.
Sister Wives is currently on hiatus. The series airs on TLC.
Nancy Guthrie Update: Sheriff Makes Confusing Statement About Suspect's Possible Motive
Nancy Guthrie has been missing for more than 50 days and, while authorities continue working leads in the case, a suspect has yet to be named. As the investigation presses on, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos has become more selective with which media outlets he does interviews with. One thing that hasn't changed, however, is Nanos' confusing statements about the case.
"Sheriff Nanos has said many things during the course of this investigation that are problematic. And this is another one because Sheriff Nanos says, yeah, we know the motive. We know why this happened, but he is not willing to share that with the rest of us," investigative reporter Dave Mack said on the March 21 episode of Nancy Grace's Crime Stories podcast.
"But he adds, this is a targeted event. He also says, well, wait a minute. Kidnappers could still be out there. He's actually saying to watch out for yourself. So in one breath, he says, we know the motive and we know it's a targeted event, but then turning right around to say, nobody's safe. I mean, not something you want to hear from the sheriff of your county," Mack added.
Most recently, Nanos appeared to make contradicting statements about the possible motive in the Guthrie case.
"We believe we know why he did this, and we believe that it was targeted, but we can’t — we’re not 100% sure of that, and so it’d be silly to tell people, 'Yeah, don’t worry about it. You’re not his target.' No, you could be," Nanos told NBC News in mid-March.
Then, in another interview with with Bill Buckmaster and Arizona Daily Star columnist Tim Steller on KVOI AM 1030’s Bill Buckmaster Show, Sheriff Nanos seemed to walk back that statement.
"When I tell you that I believe that this occurred or that occurred, that is my opinion. That's all that is," Nanos said. "The case will get us there. We let the evidence show us the way, and that’s what we base everything on. Right now, everything is speculative. We don’t have anything in front of us that says 'this is who did this, and this is why'."
Nanos said the Guthrie case is "unlike anything" Tucson has seen in years.
"We are working it hard. And we are working it with some really good, quality teams," he said. When asked what his opinion about what happened to Guthrie is, Nanos replied, "I believe that Nancy Guthrie was removed from her home against her will. That is a kidnapping. Beyond that, everything else is just—we'll see."
Guthrie, 84, has been missing since Sunday, Feb. 1. Anyone with information on her whereabouts or who might be behind her disappearance are asked to call the FBI (1-800-CALL-FBI).

1970 No. 1 Hit, Once Named Best Country Song of the Year, Turns 56
It's been exactly 56 years since Conway Twitty released one of his biggest hits.
On March 23, 1970, the iconic country music singer released what would become a career-defining smash hit: his beloved track, "Hello Darlin.'"
"Hello Darlin'" was the lead single off Twitty's 1970 album of the same name, and it would go down in history as one of the most popular songs of his career.
The signature track soared to the top of the music charts shortly after its release, before earning the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart in June 1970. It spent four weeks at the top, and was later crowned the #1 country single of the year, according to Billboard’s 1970 year-end charts (Dec. 26, 1970 issue).
View this post on Instagram"Hello Darlin'" was Twitty's fourth No. 1 song, following "It's Only Make Believe," which topped the Hot 100 chart for 2 weeks in 1958, plus the 1968 country chart topper "Next in Line," and 1969's "To See My Angel Cry" and "I Love You More Today."
Even decades after its initial release, Twitty's "Hello Darlin'" continues to be a fan-favorite country track, and has been included on a number of lists ranking "best country songs of all time."
In 2025, "Hello Darlin'" was ranked #44 on Billboard's list of the 100 Best Country Songs of All Time. It also earned the #18 spot on Taste of Country's Top 100 Country Songs, published in 2012.
Parade has "Hello Darlin' ranked at #76 on the 101 Best Country Songs of All Time list, published in 2026. It also includes Twitty's 1973 hit "You've Never Been This Far Before," ranked at #63.

This ‘Oldie-but-a-Goodie’ Royal Caribbean Ship Just Returned to Galveston with Fresh Upgrades
If you’ve been keeping an eye on the Port of Galveston lately, you might have noticed a very familiar face looking a lot fresher. The Mariner of the Seas has officially returned to its Texas homeport after a 2026 dry dock refresh that proved even a 22-year-old "classic" can learn a few new tricks. While the ship already underwent a massive $120 million "Royal Amplification" back in 2018, this latest touch-up was all about the small, high-impact details that make a vacation feel seamless.
The most visible change for sun-seekers is on the pool deck, where Royal Caribbean has added brand-new, colorful private casitas. If you’ve ever participated in the 7:00 AM "chair hog" dash for a poolside lounger, these are your new best friends. They offer a shaded, reserved home base for your group—though, being "in the know" means knowing they start at about $150 on port days and jump to $400 for sea days.
Beyond the pool, the ship has also leveled up its tech game by finally introducing RFID Wow Bands. This is a huge win for anyone who hates digging for a SeaPass card while carrying a tray of tacos from El Loco Fresh. You can now tap your wrist to open your cabin door or pay for a round of drinks at the Polynesian-themed Bamboo Room. Inside the staterooms, travelers are also noticing "stealth" upgrades like motion-activated closet nightlights and new thermostats that make the older cabins feel a lot more like the newer Icon or Wonder classes.
Related: Royal Caribbean Announces a Fan-Favorite Ship is Heading to Singapore
The ‘Glow-Up’ Strategy: Why Old is the New NewWhile the Mariner’s news is a win for Galveston fans, it’s also part of a much larger trend. In recent years, there's been a massive shift where savvy travelers are intentionally seeking out these "modern classics" over the record-breaking megaships. In fact, four of the eightmost popular ships in the world right now are older, "amplified" vessels that have received these recent glow-ups.
As the experts at Cruise Critic recently noted, these ships are "reaping the benefits of recent refurbishments" because they offer the best of both worlds: the "hits" like the Sky Pad bungee trampoline and Jamie’s Italian, but with a smaller, more intimate feel.
The Mariner will be sailing short 4- and 5-night Western Caribbean itineraries out of Texas through October 2026, making it the perfect, high-value "short getaway" for anyone who wants the "new ship" feel without the new ship price tag.

47 Years Ago, a Gritty Love Song Hit No. 1—And Became an Instant Classic
In 1979, a heartfelt ballad about unwavering devotion struck a chord with listeners, climbing all the way to No. 1 and becoming one of the era’s most unforgettable love songs.
Kenny Rogers was coming off a huge hit with the song "The Gambler" when he released the tender track. The storytelling song became famous for its life lessons of knowing when to play your hand or walk away.
Therefore, to follow that up with a gritty ballad about a struggling songwriter who wrestles with self-doubt seemed like an unlikely choice. However, it's that message of how love can overcome that resonated with Rogers' fans.
"She Believes in Me" became a hit because of the song's quiet message—a man's uncertainty in the face of his love's unwavering faith. Listeners fell in love with Steve Gibb's lyrics, and the song raced up the Billboard Country Chart to No. 1 in June 1979.

The song also reached the top of the Adult Contemporary Chart, peaking in May of that same year. However, it only reached No. 5 on Billboard's Top 100.
In 2012, during a two-night performance as an Artist-in-Residence at Nashville's Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, Rogers declared that "She Believes in Me" was one of his favorite songs he had ever recorded, according to The Boot.
RELATED: 49 Years Ago, a Single-Word Country Hit Broke Hearts and Conquered the Charts
U Discover Music said the song "has the kind of chorus that sticks in your head even if you don’t think you’ve ever heard it before." In 1979, “She Believes in Me” was Rogers’ biggest hit to date.
The song was included on the LP The Gambler. Released in 1978, the album became a major crossover breakthrough, soaring to No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Albums chart and climbing into the Top 15 on the Billboard 200 on the success of its title track, and "She Believes in Me."
RELATED: 1978 Unforgettable Country Warning Song Beat Its Own Songwriter to No. 1
The concept of The Gambler would spawn a series of five television movies over 17 years. Rogers played the lead character of Brady Hawkes in the films The Gambler (1980), The Gambler: The Adventure Continues (1983), The Gambler Part III: The Legend Continues (1987), The Gambler Returns: The Luck Of The Draw (1991), and Gambler V: Playing For Keeps (1997), per the singer’s official website.
Rogers discussed "She Believes in Me" with the Green Bay Press-Gazette. "The ballads I did, you know I came up through jazz, so I had a little more experience in singing those types of songs, which I think really helped me on like ‘Through the Years’ and ‘She Believes in Me’ and ‘You Decorated My Life.’ They were song songs. They weren’t country songs. They were just songs with great messages.”
Kenny Rogers died on March 20, 2020. He was 81.

Quote of the Day: Robert Frost on Resilience and Life Lessons
Robert Frost was an American poet who was born in 1874 and moved to Massachusetts as a boy; New England ended up influencing a lot of his poems, per the Poetry Foundation. He wrote a lot about rural life and complex themes having to do with society and philosophy. Frost was also known for writing about the ordinary and using colloquial language in his poems. He was authentic and spoke about so many life lessons, which makes today’s quote particularly insightful.
Even if you can’t remember the name of Frost’s poems, you have definitely heard of him and most likely studied him in high school English class, since he is regarded as one of the great American poets. He straddled the line between 19th-century poetry and modernism, writing down-to-Earth prose while still using traditional poetry formats, as the Poetry Foundation wrote.
Frost lived to be 88 years old, and even though he’s criticized for focusing on the past a lot, and in melancholic, dark ways at times, it’s undeniable that he had the wisdom that a long life yields. For someone who often contemplated the past, it makes sense that he had something pretty meaningful to say about resilience and the direction life moves: forward.

“In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on.”
Robert Frost reportedly said this quote to journalist and author, Ray Josephs. Despite Frost’s birthday being in March, this was published in September 1954 and touted as part of his 80th birthday celebration. It appeared in the Sunday newspaper supplement “This Week Magazine,” with the title “Robert Frost’s Secret.”
In it, Josephs asked him, “In all your years and all your travels… what do you think is the most important thing you’ve learned about life?”
The full quote that Frost replied with was:
“In three words, I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life. It goes on. In all the confusions of today, with all our troubles… with politicians and people slinging the word fear around, all of us become discouraged… tempted to say this is the end, the finish. But life—it goes on. It always has. It always will. Don’t forget that.”

Deeper Meaning of Robert Frost’s Quote: ResilienceFrost lived to be 88, living several years past when he said these words to Josephs. While being 80 years old doesn’t mean you’re basically at the end of your life, especially nowadays, being that age comes with a lot of life lived and potential wisdom to share. And Frost doesn’t disappoint with this one.
After 80 years on Earth, he says that the most important life lesson that he’s acquired can be summed up simply as, “It goes on.” Life goes on.
And looking at his longer quote, he says that things can get so hectic, and world events or even just everyday life can bring lots of stress and anxiety. In 1954, the United States had just gotten out of the Korean War, but the Cold War was going strong and brought about the Second Red Scare. But even without bringing global conflicts into the mix, the 1950s were a prosperous and fast-moving time. The decade saw a lot more inventions and technology, along with a rise in disposable income for the average American, post-World War II, leading to more things people wanted to buy and just generally more things to worry about. The “simple life” of the early 1900s was long-gone, and the world was lurching toward innovation at breakneck speed.
He goes on to finish his thought, saying that even though politicians and regular people were talking all about their fear that the end of things was near, it isn’t in his eyes. Life goes on, “it always has. It always will. Don’t forget that.”
Even when life seems dire or like the end of the world (or your own personal world), it usually isn’t. Yes, horrible things happen, and sometimes you can’t recover from it, or that event changes your whole life, and not for the better. But life keeps moving forward; it keeps going. And you can choose to be a part of that and move on, too. It all goes on, and if you have the resilience to keep on moving forward, then you might just find something better on the horizon.
More Quotes from Robert Frost- “Most of the change we think we see in life / Is due to truths being in and out of favor.”
- “The greatest thing in family life is to take a hint when a hint is intended—and not to take a hint when a hint isn't intended.”
- “Happiness Makes Up in Height for What It Lacks in Length.”
- “Home is the place where, when you have to go there / They have to take you in.”
- “A jury consists of twelve persons chosen to decide who has the better lawyer.”
- “Some say the world will end in fire, Some say in ice. From what I've tasted of desire / I hold with those who favor fire. But if it had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate / To say that for destruction ice / Is also great / And would suffice.”

Norwegian Cruise Line Just Made a Major Change to Its Loyalty Program
If you're a loyal cruiser with Norwegian Cruise Line, you likely know that one of the biggest perks of the "Latitudes Rewards" program is the ability to carry your hard-earned status over to NCL’s sister brands, Oceania and Regent Seven Seas.
It’s the ultimate "travel hack" for the cruiser who wants to transition from a fun, family-friendly atmosphere to a high-end, ultra-luxury experience without starting back at the bottom of the ladder. However, as of March 16, the rules for that cross-brand "handshake" have officially shifted.
Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings just pulled the curtain back on a significant revamp of its reciprocal loyalty structure, and the biggest impact is being felt by those at the very top.

View this post on InstagramWhile your onboard perks within NCL itself aren’t changing, the way your status translates when you "cross-brand" is being compressed. For those who have reached the prestigious Ambassador tier—the highest level in the Latitudes program—you may find that your "VIP" welcome on a ship like the Oceania Riviera or Regent Seven Seas Explorer looks a little different than it did last year.
Under the new alignment, NCL’s Ambassadors are now being capped at the Diamond tier when sailing with Oceania, rather than the previous "President’s Circle" recognition. Similarly, when stepping onto a Regent Seven Seas vessel, that same Ambassador status now translates to Titanium instead of the "Commodore" level.
Related: Norwegian Cruise Line Is Changing Its Famous ‘Freestyle’ Rules for 2026
The company's framing this as a move to better align the vastly different experiences across its three brands, essentially ensuring that the "top tier" of a luxury line like Regent remains as exclusive as possible.
What does this mean for you? If you’ve been eyeing a "milestone" Mediterranean cruise on Oceania or a bucket-list trip on Regent to celebrate your NCL loyalty, it’s time to log in to your account and see where you land. While the "Ambassador" title still carries immense weight, the narrowing of these upper tiers means you should manage your expectations for those cross-brand perks.
The good news is that the core NCL experience remains untouched—your Bronze-to-Ambassador journey stays exactly as you've built it—but when it comes to jumping between sister lines, the "Gold Standard" just got a little more exclusive.

The List of Best-Dressed Athletes Just Dropped —And Travis Kelce Didn’t Make the Top Spot
Lewis Hamilton has spent the last decade proving that the fastest way to a fashion editor's heart is a perfectly outfitted paddock arrival. While the rest of the sporting world is just catching on to the fashion with a capital ‘F’ pre-game phenomenon, the seven-time F1 champ has turned the pit lane into his personal runway. According to a fresh February 2026 report, Hamilton is officially the most prominent fashion icon in sports, with over 1.01 million fans hunting down his outfit details this year.
The new study, released by Foresight Sports, analyzed the Google search interest of 100 high-profile athletes to see who actually moves the needle in the wardrobe department. The verdict? Even with the global Swiftie spotlight firmly on the NFL, the racing world is still setting the pace. Hamilton’s move to Scuderia Ferrari might be the biggest sporting story of the decade, but his sartorial choices are generating just as much heat as his engine. Between a viral Lululemon collaboration and a silver-glittered F1 helmet currently haunting mood boards on social media, Hamilton has become a style icon. He treats every race arrival with the same precision as a qualifying lap, and the data shows fans are collectively obsessed with the result.
View this post on InstagramWhile Hamilton sits comfortably at the top of the mountain with his million-plus searches, the numbers tell a surprising story about where our attention is shifting. He’s closely trailed by Serena Williams, who remains the queen of the court and the carpet. The tennis legend secured the second-place spot, with over 820,000 people checking out her fashion this year. Williams’ cobalt blue Nike crop jacket and mini tennis skirt from the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show are still pulling massive numbers, proving that even in retirement, she can out-search active superstars.
Travis Kelce, despite being the face of the current NFL tunnel walk revolution, landed in third place with 616,500 yearly searches. It’s a strong showing for the Chiefs' star, but it proves that even a high-profile romance and a Gucci bucket hat can't quite topple the established fashion royalty of F1 and tennis. However, he earns points for authenticity; Kelce is one of the few at the top of the list who reportedly curates his own 70s-inspired vibe without a personal stylist on his payroll. That burnt orange Amiri suit was a personal choice, not a corporate one.
Further down the list, the Style Circuit goes global. Soccer’s Jules Koundé represents the new guard in fourth place with 316,800 searches, followed by Conor McGregor, who holds the fifth spot with 243,900 fans tracking his luxury rotations as he preps for his UFC return.
As a spokesperson from Foresight Sports noted in a statement: “Athletes have become dual-content creators: their athletic performance drives one audience, while their fashion choices engage an entirely different demographic. Serena Williams' and Travis Kelce's popularity in the world of stylists and models shows that sports and fashion content now coexist.”
3 Ways Cruisers Waste Money Without Realizing It
Cruising can be a great way to enjoy a vacation where minimal planning is needed. When you book a cruise, you are able to travel to multiple destinations without lifting a finger, most of the food is paid for, entertainment is abundant each night, and your stateroom gets cleaned once a day. What more could you ask for? However, for a lot of newer cruisers, people tend to make a lot of mistakes that can be easily avoided.
I worked as a performer on cruise ships for over five years–and not just on one cruise line. I’ve seen the ins and outs of Norwegian Cruise Line, Carnival Cruise Line and even the luxury, all-inclusive side of Regent Seven Seas. Through my own trial and error as well as seeing guests make the same mistakes, I’m truly a pro when it comes to getting the most out of your cruise for the least amount of money.
These days, I’m retired from performing on ships, and instead I go on cruises multiple times a year for leisure. A recent Points Guy article came out that explains ways that cruisers waste money, and there are three particular things in this article that I couldn’t agree more with. I’m going to lead you through them, and tell you what to do instead.

Booking Too Many Shore ExcursionsOnce you book your cruise, you’ll then start to look at each day’s port of call. Usually on the cruise line’s app or website, you’ll see all of the options for shore excursions that you can book through your cruise line. Many of these excursions will seem incredibly enticing, and with the ease of booking directly with the cruise line, you’ll most likely feel the urge to book one for every single port of call. I’m here to tell you that for a lot of ports, that truly isn’t necessary.
Take a look at the ports you are visiting. If you are in an extremely walkable port–like Valetta, Malta or Key West, Florida–you can experience much of the port completely on your own. By doing this, you’ll save hundreds of dollars. Many of the shore excursions simply have a guide that brings you around the city, but the downside is that you have to wait for the other guests that also booked the excursion in each location, you can’t really explore at your own leisure, and you’ll be on a strict time schedule.
View this post on InstagramThe ports that I do recommend booking a shore excursion for are ones where the main action is far away from the actual port. Examples of this are ports like Piraeus, Greece (Athens) or Livorno, Italy (Florence). There are usually shore excursions that will bring you into the city center, and that takes the pressure off the guests to figure out how to navigate the port on their own. In that specific instance, I recommend a shore excursion.

Not Keeping Your Phone On Airplane ModeAnother big mistake I see first time cruisers make is not keeping their phone on airplane mode. Especially if your cruise is staying in the United States, many people think it’s totally ok to leave their phone on cellular service as they normally would. I made this mistake myself the very first time I got onboard a cruise ship as a crew member. We were cruising from Long Beach, California to Catalina Island, California. I thought that I was in the clear to keep my phone on, and instead, I ended up getting charged hundreds of dollars for browsing the web on “cellular at sea”.
Don’t make the same mistake I did, and be sure to put your phone on airplane mode. You can purchase WiFi on the ship, but there are also some eSIM options to check out as well.
Now that I cruise as a guest on cruise ships quite often, I’ve found that buying a drink package is almost always worth it. Let’s take Norwegian Cruise Line for example. While the price of the drink package does vary per ship and itinerary, I have personally been able to book cruises with a very affordable drink package. Last year, I went on a 10-day Mediterranean cruise where I received an unlimited open bar for $27 a day. Ultimately, this meant that if I drank more than three alcoholic drinks per day while on the cruise, the drink package would be worth it.
If you end up not getting the drink package, you would pay per drink. On most cruise lines, beers cost between $6 to $10, wine can be between $9 and $15, and most cocktails are $14 or more. Over the course of your cruise, these prices add up. Especially if you consider the fact that you’ll most likely be visiting the dining room each night, and if you’re the type to have multiple drinks with dinner, that can put a dent in your bill. Don’t forget about when you’re laying out by the pool, and a nice cold beer or strawberry daiquiri will be extra appealing. Ultimately, if you enjoy drinking on vacation, the drink package is almost always worth it.

1976 No. 2 Hit Ranked One of the ‘Top Love Songs of All Time’ Was Initially Rejected By Classic Rock Duo
In 1976, England Dan and John Ford Coley had a hit song with “I’d Really Love to See You Tonight.” The soft rock classic, from the duo’s fourth album Nights Are Forever, peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in August 1976 and remained there for two weeks.
In February 2026, Billboard named “I’d Really Love to See You Tonight" one of the top 50 love songs of all time. But amazingly, the musical duo, formed in 1970, originally had no love for the tune.
In an interview with Classic Bands, Coley noted that he and pal “England” Dan Seals usually wrote their own music, but after they were dropped by their record label, producers presented them with the song about a no-strings-attached romance.
“That was a big thing for us, we had always written our own songs,” he shared. “So, when they brought us ‘Really Love To See You Tonight,’ which was written by Parker McGee, we didn't really like that very much.“
The duo didn’t want to record the songIn a separate interview, Coley noted that he and his musical partner pushed back on recording “I’d Really Love to See You Tonight” because they didn’t think it was their style.
“When they brought us 'I'd Really Love to See You Tonight,' we didn’t want to do that song. We only wanted to do the songs that we had written, and that we were close to," Coley admitted to Rock Show Critique in 2018.
"The unfortunate thing is that I think of all the songs that we had written, so far they had generated about $1.90 worth of sales, so when they brought it to us, we thought, 'Man, that's a woman's song. We don't really want to do it that way,'" the singer explained. "They said, 'No, try it. Try it. Just do it, and we can discuss all of that later.' So we did, and son of a gun, it took off the way that it did.”
Coley noted that it was a wakeup call to find that “there were other people that could actually write things that were going to get presented on the radio.”
RELATED: 1976 No. 1 One-Hit Wonder Was Written in Five Minutes
The song took England Dan and John Ford Coley to the next levelIn a 2026 interview with Dakota’s Music World, Coley, now 77, further explained that after recording three albums, he and Seals considered themselves to be “singer-songwriters” and didn’t want to compromise. “When we ended up getting 'I'd really love tosee You Tonight,’ neither one of us wanted to do it. We both said, 'No, that’s kind of a female song. I don't really want to do that.' And so then they talked us into it. So we did it. It takes off. Fires up the charts, and I see the first royalty check. And at that point, I realized just how mercenary I could be.”
"I found myself calling Parker McGee, who wrote the song, and going, ‘Parker. Hey buddy. You know, what else you got?‘” he admitted. “It was just like wait a minute. I want to be a singer-songwriter, that's what I want to be known for. However, there's this thing called rent and groceries, and you know, I want I'd like a car that runs, and you just kind of go, ‘All right, I think there's something else.'"
"There's a lot of great songs and if you pass them up, yeah, okay, your ego, solved,” Coley added. “But that's not a good business decision. … You can play in bars all your whole life if you want to, or you can take the next level up. And we just took the next level up.”
4 Core Traits of People Born on the 26th, Per Numerology
Did you know that your birth date means something? Numerologists agree that all birth dates resonate with the numerological energies of one to three numbers. If you were born on the 26th, then you embody the combined energies of 2, 6, and 8. According to numerology, your birth date makes you a relationship-oriented person who prioritizes community, friendship, and family. You also derive immense fulfillment from pursuing your professional passions. Read on to discover the numerological significance of 26, challenges to watch for, and four core personality traits that define you.
The Numerological Significance of Number 26Determining the numerological significance of 26 is easier than you think. First, break 26 down into two single-digit numbers, 2 and 6, and then add those numbers to get 8. The distinct characteristics of 2, 6, and 8 come together to form 26’s energy.
2 represents emotional balance, mysticism, and the desire for connection. 6 aligns with family values, friendship, and harmony. 8 is a powerful number associated with success, material gains, and reciprocity. As these three numbers come together, they create the loving, nurturing energy associated with 26. People who embody 26’s energy are known for being relationship-oriented. They value community and socializing because their connections enrich their lives. They’re also hardworking, so it’s not unlikely for these individuals to amass wealth and success.
Working with 26’s energy also means working with Saturn, the astrological planet of timing, authority, and karmic lessons. Saturn isn’t an easy planet to work with, but it can be extremely rewarding. Saturn bestows a strong work ethic and steady patience to people who are up for the challenge. A crystal like Hematite is recommended, as it is a grounding stone that enhances mental and emotional clarity.
Challenges to Watch ForThose born on the 26th still face challenges even if they are destined for a life of success and companionship. Their biggest challenge is discerning who to take along for the ride. People with this birth date are relationship-oriented. They know there’s strength in numbers, so finding a like-minded companion or group is ideal. Unfortunately, their biggest challenge is finding the right partner, friend, or colleague. Relationship challenges such as boundaries, expectations, standards, and reciprocity will hit these individuals earlier in life. They may learn a lot about generosity and boundaries after sharing with the wrong friend. There will also be issues concerning sharing success, wealth, and notoriety as they get older. Although there might be betrayal and heartbreak, they will eventually learn to discern who’s worth befriending, loving, or working with, thanks to the challenges they've gone through.
Core Personality Traits of Those Born on the 26th1. Ambitious Yet Empathetic LeadersPeople born on the 26th lead with others in mind. These individuals are incredibly considerate and caring, so they will always act with someone else’s desires and needs in mind. Being this selfless and generous is rare, so never take people with this birth date for granted.
2. Material & Financial SuccessWealth and notoriety will find those born on the 26th. It’s not unusual for these individuals to have more obstacles and hindrances earlier in life. They may have come from a family that struggles or may have experienced more setbacks than their peers. Despite facing more obstacles, they don’t get down on themselves. Roadblocks help these individuals develop a strong work ethic and unbeatable ambition. Overcoming each issue also reinforces their strength and talent. All of this and more help individuals with this birth date reach impressive levels of success while still remaining humble.

Count yourself lucky to be part of their social circle.
4. Generous & ReciprocalIs there anyone more benevolent than someone born on the 26th? Being born on this day means having a charitable spirit. There’s no task or favor they won’t agree to. Real friends and family members know not to take advantage of their kindness. After all, there aren’t many people who will drop everything on a moment’s notice to be there for their loved ones. People with this birth date don’t think twice about helping in any way possible, but they expect the same in return.

This Major U.S. Airline Has the Roomiest Economy Seat—but Not for Long
It’s long been the open secret of the savvy traveler: if you want to fly coach without feeling like a canned sardine, you book JetBlue. For years, the airline has hung its hat on being the "un-airline," offering the kind of legroom that actually allows you to cross your legs without bumping the seat in front of you.
But as we move further into 2026, that famous "Core" experience is undergoing a quiet, somewhat cramped transformation that loyalists are starting to notice.
While JetBlue still holds the title for the roomiest economy seats among major US carriers, the gap is narrowing. Historically, they were the gold standard with a generous 32 to 33 inches of seat pitch on their Airbus fleet. However, as the airline rolls out new expanded premium offerings and reconfigures its cabins to make room for more high-revenue "Even More Space" and Mint options, the standard economy rows are feeling the squeeze.
Related: JetBlue Plans to Launch a ‘More Affordable’ First Class Option for Travelers
View this post on InstagramAs Simple Flyingrecently noted, "JetBlue is going from exceptional to industry standard." This shift means some of their economy configurations are transitioning down to a 30-32 inch pitch, which brings them right back into the pack with everyone else.
This "premium creep" is a double-edged sword for the JetBlue faithful. On one hand, the airline is introducing more upscale choices for those willing to splurge, but that extra luxury has to come from somewhere—and usually, it’s being carved out of the standard coach cabin. For those who happen to find themselves in one of the newer configurations later this year, that "most legroom in coach" claim may start to feel more like a memory.
Related: JetBlue is Adding New Ways to Reach This Caribbean Island Hotspot
For those who can’t imagine losing those precious inches, there are still a few "outlier" alternatives if you’re willing to look beyond the major US legacy brands. Carriers like Japan Airlines and Caribbean Airlines are some of the rare gems still offering up to 34 inches of pitch, though they obviously don't have the domestic reach of our hometown favorite.
The bottom line for 2026? Don’t just assume your favorite seat is still there. As the airline shifts its focus toward big-spending travelers, the "Core" experience is becoming a bit more "squished." It’s a good reminder to always check the seat map before you pull the trigger on that spring getaway, because that legendary JetBlue legroom might just be a "limited edition" feature moving forward.

Beloved Bluegrass Singer and Prolific Songwriter Dies at 64 After Motorcycle Accident
The country music community is heartbroken following the death of beloved singer and musician Ronnie Bowman, who has died at age 64.
According to Taste of Country, Bowman passed away on Sunday, March 22, at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tenn., following a deadly motorcycle accident in Ashland City, which occurred the day prior.
Born in Mount Airy, North Carolina, Bowman grew up singing gospel music and performed in a family band as a child. Years later, he would become a highly respected musician, songwriter, and bluegrass singer, known for his work with the Lonesome River Band, which formed in 1982.
Bowman also released several acclaimed solo albums throughout his career, including 1994’s Cold Virginia Night, which won an IBMA Bluegrass Music Award trophy for Album of the Year in 1995. He also released solo albums, 1998’s The Man I’m Tryin’ To Be, 2002’s Starting Over, 2005’s It’s Gettin’ Better All the Time, and 2019’s self-titled Ronnie Bowman.
In addition to winning an award for his album, Bowman established himself as an influential voice in the bluegrass genre as a three-time IBMA Male Vocalist of the Year, claiming the title in 1995, 1998, and 1999.
Alongside his solo work, musicianship, and bluegrass resume, Bowman has been credited for writing songs for some of country music’s biggest names. As a composer, he co-wrote Lee Ann Womack’s “The Healing Kind,” Kenny Chesney’s “Never Wanted Nothing More,” Jake Owen’s “The Journey of Your Life,” Chris Stapleton’s “Nobody to Blame,” Brooks & Dunn’s “It’s Getting Better all the Time,” and many others.
Although Bowman’s family hasn’t made a public statement, many country music artists took to social media to share their heartbreak in the wake of their beloved friend’s death.
“He was the favorite bluegrass and country singer of everyone I know. And he was everyone’s favorite hang,” Dierks Bentley wrote of Bowman in a post on Instagram. “So many memories come to mind of my earlier days hanging out with him….”
