Red Hot Chili Peppers' 2000s Hit Returns to Multiple Charts Amid New Documentary
It is widely considered to be one of the band's best songs.
"Can't Stop" by Red Hot Chili Peppers is an ultra-catchy blend of funk rock, alternative, rap rock and perhaps even other genres as it leaped off the Grammy-winning group's 2002 album By the Way as its second single.
More than two decades later, the Chili Peppers have remained busy creating new music and still performing around the world — with "Can't Stop" still a go-to song they play during live sets. Check out the official music video below.
And with an all-new documentary, The Rise of the Red Hot Chili Peppers: Our Brother, Hillel, having just dropped on Netflix about the band's formative years, it's no surprise that certain jams have resurfaced on Billboard's coveted music charts.
The big winner is "Can't Stop," has established new high points on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts, Forbes reports. And while the smash hit doesn't rank as the highest-peaking Chili Peppers single on either of those surveys, it does stand out as the group's longest-charting.
Meanwhile, in terms of Billboard's U.S. charts, Forbes also noted on Saturday, March 21 that the Anthony Kiedis-led outfit's single "Scar Tissue" (1999) has returned to the Alternative Streaming Songs list, surging to No. 24 on the 25-space rundown and celebrating its first month among the top performers.
Interestingly, out of all the catchy tracks from Californication, "Scar Tissue" served as the lead single from that Chili Peppers album, which is still regarded as perhaps the most beloved LP by the band to this day.
Two and half decades later, fans can now check out Netflix's The Rise of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, which features interviews with Kiedis, 63, and famed bassist Flea, 63. The documentary focuses on original bandmate Hillel Slovak, who died in 1988 at the age of 26. People who were close to the original guitarist also make an appearance.
'Tournament of Champions' VII Episode 4 Live Updates: 4th Secret Icon Revealed
The main event of Tournament of Champions VII continues with the final set of eight chefs out of the field of 32 battling it out in four matchups to see who advances to round 2—and who packs their knives and leaves. Plus, the fourth and final "Secret Culinary Icon" will be revealed in the last matchup of the night.
ICYMI, last week we saw Shirley Chung soundly defeat Dale Talde, Bryan Voltaggio take out Carlos Anthony, Dan Jacobs pull the upset over Sara Bradley, and Viet Pham become the second 8-seed to take out a culinary icon when he took down Jonathan Waxman.
Judges this week are Scott Conant, Kenny Oringer and Marcus Samuelsson.
Beware of spoilers ahead: Don't keep reading if you don't want to be spoiled.

Matchup 1: No. 2 Lee Anne Wong vs No. 7 Stephanie IzardRandomizer categories: Venison tenderloin for protein, corn for produce, microwave for equipment, earthy for style and Audience Choice for wildcard. The audience chose to move the microwave (at the urging of the chefs) and they wound up with a French press for equipment. That's a tricky basket even without the microwave.
Dishes: Steph chose to make spice-rubbed venison with fresh corn grits, while Lee Anne went with olive oil-poached venison loin over corn puree with corn mushroom salad.
Winner: By a score of 80 to 77, Stephanie defeated Lee Anne. She won by one point in all three categories.

Matchup 2: No. 3 Marcel Vigneron vs No. 6 David VianaRandomizer categories: Manila clams for protein, butternut squash for produce, microwave for equipment and glazed for style, with the wildcard coming up Move One Down. They chose to move clams to pork blade steak. Microwave is actually very helpful for butternut squash in this instance.
Dishes: David made grilled blade steak with butternut squash glaze, mashed squash and glazed walnuts. Marcel went with soy sauce and honey-glazed pork steak with a butternut squash puree, diced butternut squash and water cress.
Winner: If it wasn't obvious from the judging, Marcel won by a score of 87 to 81. He won by three points on taste, two on use of the Randomizer and one on presentation. Scott Conant got so excited tasting Marcel's dish that he threw his napkin.
Marcel will now face off with Stephanie in the next round.

Matchup 3: No. 4Kaleena Blissvs No. 5 Adam SobelRandomizer categories: Ground lamb for protein, cucumber for produce, food processor for equipment, crispy for style and Move One Up for wildcard. They moved crispy to layered.
Dishes: Kaleena went with layered, crispy rice paper dumplings stuffed with ground lamb with cucumber and apple kimchi salad. Adam made lamb moussaka with grilled eggplant and eggplant tempura.
Winner: By a score of 79 to 77, Kaleena won, which was a little surprising based on the judges' comments. But it makes more sense once the categories were shown—he obviously beat her on use of the Randomizer because of "layered," but she beat him by four points on taste and that was the difference.

Who is the 4th and Final Secret Culinary Icon? The fourth Secret Culinary Icon is MasterChef and Chopped judge Aarón Sánchez. I guessed the first three Icons based on their silhouettes and I was right, but this one eluded me. However, it's a tiny cheat to say that the Icons have never competed on TOC before because Aarón just competed on the TOC: All-Star Christmas special alongside Amanda Freitag, so I was discounting all of those people.
Matchup 4: 4th Secret Culinary Icon vs. No. 8 Kenny GilbertRandomizer categories: Manila clams for protein, breakfast radish for produce, spiralizer for equipment and crispy for style. They got Protein or Produce Re-Spin for wildcard and chose to re-spin protein (which seems smart). They ended up with Manila Clams, haha. This is maybe the hardest Randomizer of season 7 so far.
Dishes: Aarón decided to make steamed Manila clams in a spicy coconut broth with crispy plantain chips. Kenny prepared crispy Thai collard green salad with crispy fried clams and crispy breakfast radishes. That's smart use of the Randomizer. Aarón is not making enough crispy elements.
Winner: By a score of 81 to 76, Kenny is the third 8-seed to upset one of the Secret Icons. Use of the Randomizer was the major difference, Kenny won by four points on that and one on presentation; they tied on taste.
Kenny and Kaleena will face off in round 2 in two weeks.
The Secret Culinary Icon twist was an incredible idea but they got icons who were so far removed from competition cooking that they were not prepared for TOC. Honestly, the Food Network should make Bobby Flay do it next year. It's kind of bonkers (and anti-climatic) that they got these culinary titans to compete and three of them got upset in the first round.

- No. 2 Jet Tila vs No. 6 Claudette Zepeda
- No. 2 Britt Rescigno vs No. 3 Kevin Lee
- No. 1 Lorena Garcia vs No. 5 Joe Sasto

Why Isn’t ‘The Bachelorette’ on Tonight? The Real Reason Taylor Frankie Paul’s Season Was Pulled
If you tuned in Sunday night expecting the premiere of Taylor Frankie Paul’s season of The Bachelorette, you’re not alone.
The show was originally scheduled to debut on Sunday, March 22—but at the last minute, ABC pulled the season from its schedule.
So what happened?
Related: ‘Bachelorette’ May Not Be Dead Yet—Insiders Say Taylor Frankie Paul’s Season Could Still Air
Why Isn’t ‘The Bachelorette’ on Tonight?ABC made the decision to pull season 22 after a 2023 video involving Taylor and her then-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen surfaced publicly on TMZ.
In a statement to Parade, the network said, “In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of The Bachelorette at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family.”
The move came just days before the planned premiere, after ABC had previously indicated earlier in the week that the show was still moving forward.
Related: Why Was Taylor Frankie Paul Arrested? Inside the ‘Bachelorette’ Star’s 2023 Assault Case
What Happened in the Video? The video shows a 2023 altercation between Taylor and Dakota where she is yelling, throwing chairs and trying to kick Dakota. Her daughter Indy is present in the video, starting to cry as the situation escalates. Indy was reportedly struck accidentally during the incident Taylor later plead guilty to aggravated assault.
The resurfacing of that footage prompted ABC’s abrupt decision to pull the season.

Will ‘The Bachelorette’ Still Air?Even though the show has been pulled, it may not be gone for good.
According to Variety, ABC could lose tens of millions of dollars if the season never airs, including licensing fees, marketing costs and lost advertising revenue. There’s also a key complication: ABC doesn’t actually own The Bachelorette.
The series is produced by Warner Bros. Television Group, which distributes it internationally. That means the studio still has a financial incentive to find a way for the season to be released.
Insiders told Variety that Warner Bros. is currently taking a “wait-and-see” approach, staying in contact with ABC as the situation develops.
Possible outcomes include:
- airing the season later in the year
- moving it to a different platform, such as Hulu
- or reworking the release entirely
While ABC has pulled The Bachelorette from its Sunday lineup, the situation is still evolving—and the season could still eventually see the light of day in some form.

'The Voice' Battle Revealing the Song Adam Levine Sang to His Bride at Their Wedding
Monday night was the second and final night of Battles for Season 29 of The Voice: Battle of Champions and coaches Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine and John Legend made the final cuts to their teams after the night’s duets.
One very special duet kicked off the night when Adam assigned Stevie Nicks and Don Henley’s “Leather and Lace to his teammates Drew Russell and Jared Shoemaker, which NBC has released as a sneak peek. And Adam revealed it was a song he had performed at his wedding.
John was the first to critique the twosome.
“Not to be superficial, but you guys would make a hot couple,” he pointed out. “I don’t know what your dating status is.”
Kelly interrupted him to say, “Honestly, after hearing you, I think you should be a duo.”
When Drew revealed she was married, the conversation moved on.
“You could still have a group, though,” John said. “It was beautiful. Your harmonies sounded so great. That was such a great song choice, I thought, for both of you. Drew, I really loved at the top of your range that little shred that was in your voice. It sounded so cool. Jared, I just decided that you're one of my favorite male vocalists this season. I just love the tone of your voice, the rasp in it. You just sound like a star to me. You're like the real deal.”
Then it was Kelly’s turn. She said, “Perfect song, so well done, Adam. It was the perfect song for both of you. John was talking about the little break in your voice, Drew, but also the vibrato, it was perfect. Jared, you opened your mouth and I feel like I'm at your concert. I actually think that both of you complement each other and you actually make each other better. That's why I said the group thing. And it's unexpected, which makes it more exciting as a fan.”
Related:The Voice Season 29: Who Went Home and Who Made It Through the Battles Tonight?
Then Adam talked a little bit about what the song means to him before critiquing his team.
“This song to me is just a heavyweight champion of songs in my life,” he said. “I sang this song with Stevie Nicks to my wife at our wedding. That happened. It really happened. I pinch myself sometimes. So, it made it even harder, I think, for you guys because I was going to go and be uber critical of it. In the rehearsals, to be completely honest, the promise was there and the vibe was there, but it just wasn't where it needed to be yet. I was hoping that it would really come to fruition in time for this thing and it really did. It was so beautiful. Thank you guys for really doing it right.
“Drew, there were moments where it was so Stevie-esque and she is obviously one of the greatest ever to do it, and Jared, Don Henley's a beast. It's really, really rangy for a male vocalist and you crushed it. You guys really stepped up and you're both just incredible. Great job."
But of the two, who does Adam select as the winner to go through to the Knockouts? Tune in on Monday night to find out who the winner of the Battle will be.
The Voice airs Monday nights at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. Streams next day on Peacock.

Hockey Reporter Mom and Her 3 Young Kids Die in Devastating House Fire
It's absolutely heartbreaking news in the hockey and Minnesota community and for countless others. In an unfathomable tragedy, Minnesota Wild and NFL hockey reporter Jessi Pierce, 37, her three young children and dog have reportedly died in a devastating house fire in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. "Jessi Pierce loved hockey with the same intensity she had for her family—and for life in general," says the full-page obituary posted on the NHL site.
The media release from the White Bear Lake Fire Department states that they responded to a call in the early morning hours on Saturday, March 21, 2026, after neighbors called 911 to report flames coming from the roof of a home. The fire department report then goes on to say they found one adult, three children, and a dog, all deceased, inside of the house. Names were not posted in the release.
The fire department's Facebook posting says, "It is a very difficult and sad day for our community."
According to the NHL's lengthy obit for the reporter mom of three, Pierce was:
- A graduate of Iowa State University.
- A Minnesota Wild reporter and contributor to NHL.com for the past 10 seasons.
- A sports reporter whose worked appeared in USA Hockey, the Minnesota Hockey Journal, Massachusetts Hockey, The Athletic, and other publications.
- The cohost for the Bardown Beauties podcast about the Wild.
- And most of all, a loving and proud mama to her three children.
Pierce regularly posted happy selfies, often rinkside at the Grand Casino Arena, as well as pics of her kids on her social media account.
In addition to the obit, the NHL posted a photo of Pierce with their condolences on Instagram: “The entire National Hockey League family sends our prayers and deepest condolences to the Pierce family on the passing of Jessi Pierce and her three young children. Jessi loved our game and was a valued member of the NHL.com team for a decade. We will miss her terribly.”
View this post on InstagramThe Minnesota Wild hockey team followed suit: "We are heartbroken and join the State of Hockey in mourning the tragic loss of Jessi and her children. May they rest in peace 💔."
View this post on InstagramNo further details are yet available on the cause of the fire. The White Bear Lake Fire Department release says, "We will provide updates when it is appropriate. Our main focus at this time is on everyone affected by this tragedy."
The Look Karla Mosley Wanted for 'Beyond the Gates' Dani Dupree—But Producers Said 'No'
Karla Mosley had a very different vision for her Beyond the Gates character Dani Dupree when she was first cast in the role on the CBS soap opera.
In an interview on The Gatekeepers Podcast, a Beyond the Gates fan podcast, Mosley was asked what she knew about Dani prior to the beginning of production.
During the conversation, Mosley revealed she initially pushed for a different look for Dani. “I tried to push for Dani to have micro braids like Lisa Bonet,” she said. “They were like, ‘no’.”
Mosley explained that production had a clearly defined vision for the character. “They were like, she is who she is. She is this very rich ex-model,” she said.
That approach contrasted with Mosley’s real-life style. “I'm super low maintenance, Dani is the opposite,” she explained.
Ultimately, Mosley leaned into the differences. “It's really about embracing it,” she said, noting that the show’s hair, makeup, and wardrobe team helped her better understand Dani’s “grandness.”
Mosley also revealed that one of Dani’s early storylines sparked internal discussion. “Obviously Dani came out of the gate guns blazing, literally, and there was like a little bit of pushback from some execs who questioned ‘Do we need to soften her?’”
However, showrunner Michelle Val Jean supported the character’s original direction. “Michelle was like ‘She will change, she will grow,’” Mosley said.
Now in the show’s second season, Mosley says Dani has evolved. “She's kind of in her comedic soft girl era right now,” she shared.
Still, Mosley emphasized that Dani’s core traits remain intact. “Michelle was like, ‘She will always be fierce. We are not going to soften her.’ and I really love that about her,” she said.
You can listen to the full interview with Mosley, and her co-stars Lauren Buglioli (Vanessa McBride) and Daphnée Duplaix (Nicole Richardson Dupree) on The Gatekeepers Podcast here.

Kathy Hilton Reveals the Unlikely Style Tips She Gives Daughters Paris and Nicky
It's common for parents to pass down any number of things to their children — talents, recipes, jewelry, you name it.
During a recent fragrance event at her Bel Air, California, home, TV personality and businesswoman Kathy Hilton spilled on some surprising yet relatable style and beauty tips she has always stressed to her daughters Paris Hilton and Nicky Hilton.
"A classic rule I’ve told Paris and Nicky is to be comfortable. I'd rather be a little underdressed than overdressed because you can always throw on fun earrings or change your shoes if you're leaving work or getting off a plane," Kathy, 67, told ET in an interview article published Saturday, March 21. "You don't want to come in with the whole kitchen sink and make a fool out of yourself. Dim it down a little bit. Just be fresh, pretty, and confident. That's the best."

"They can't wear my shoes because I have a smaller foot, but they wear my jewelry, my accessories, and my handbags," the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star said. "I recently borrowed a bag that was so cute from Paris. She was calling every day saying, 'I'm going to come by and get my bag.' … She knows her inventory and doesn't forget, but I’m happy that she takes care of her things and that she's appreciative."

A frightening moment unfolded at the 2026 Valspar Championship in Florida when a young girl was struck and briefly pinned underneath a golf cart near the 15th hole.
The incident occurred at the Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club’s Copperhead Course in Palm Harbor during a round of play on Saturday, March 21. According to reports, the cart, used to transport fans around the course, was moving slowly when the accident happened.
On-course reporter Smylie Kaufman described the scene in real time, noting that PGA champ Brooks Koepka quickly stepped in to assist. “Brooks Koepka went underneath the ropes to talk to the girl and comfort her,” Kaufman said per Us Weekly, adding, “Very scary moment… I am sure Brooks Koepka’s heart is still spinning a little bit.”
Tournament medical staff responded immediately and evaluated the child on-site. Thankfully, early assessments indicated she did not suffer any serious injuries.
“She’s OK, thankfully, so that’s all that matters,” Koepka later told reporters, per the outlet. “I know she’s probably a little scared, and I just felt for her at the time.” The golfer also acknowledged the unsettling nature of the incident, saying, “It’s unfortunate, it shouldn’t have happened. But as long as she’s OK—and nothing crazy happened to her—then it will be OK.”
A spokesperson for the Valspar Championship confirmed that the vehicle involved was “slow-moving” and emphasized that the situation, while alarming, did not result in significant harm. After being checked by medical personnel, the girl was able to leave with her family and did not require further treatment.
Play at the hole was briefly paused for about five minutes. Following the incident, Koepka returned to competition, though he recorded a double-bogey on the next hole and trailed leader Sungjae Im by seven shots. When asked if the moment affected his performance, he said simply, “Not golf-wise, no.”
1977 Career-Defining Classic Was a No. 1 Hit 49 Years Ago Today
In 1977, The Manhattan Transfer delivered one of the most memorable tracks of their career, one that would ultimately become known as their signature song.
Their single, "Chanson D'Amour" became an international success, reaching No. 1 on charts in multiple countries, including the UK, and helping cement the group's place in pop and jazz history.
Known for their rich harmonies and genre-blending style, The Manhattan Transfer originally formed in 1969, founded by Tim Hauser. After an early lineup dissolved, Hauser re-formed the group in the early 1970s with Janis Siegel, Alan Paul and Laurel Massé, creating the classic lineup that would bring the group widespread acclaim.
"Chanson D’Amour" showcased the group's ability to reinterpret older material with a fresh, polished sound, blending pop, jazz and vocal harmony into something uniquely their own. The song, written by Wayne Shanklin, was first recorded by Art and Dotty Todd in 1958, and peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard charts. The Manhattan Transfer's version later solidified the song's status as a pop standard.
Over the years, The Manhattan Transfer earned widespread recognition, winning multiple Grammy Awards across different genres, including pop, jazz and R&B— an achievement that highlighted their versatility and vocal precision.
"We all had different influences," Paul said in a 2008 interview. "All of us came from different backgrounds, and we brought to the table a lot of different passions. It was a matter of the quality and the heart put into a particular song. We always had a very wide scope in terms of our palette—in terms of how we wanted to paint. I think we realized that to have longevity we needed to be flexible."
Despite their long career, the group also experienced loss along the way. Founding member Tim Hauser died in 2014 at the age of 72, marking the end of an era for the group. Despite this, the band continued to perform and carry on its legacy until 2023, when they performed their final show at Walt Disney Concert Hall.
"I think we're going out on top. And that's the way I always wanted it. I think we all felt that way," said Paul. "We didn’t want to have it deteriorate. We want to be remembered for our greatness, and we certainly have a wonderful legacy."
More than four decades later, "Chanson D’Amour" remains one of The Manhattan Transfer’s most beloved songs. a career-defining hit that helped introduce their signature sound to audiences around the world.

Hoda Kotb Shares Emotional 3-Word Message as Nancy Guthrie Search Continues
Hoda Kotb is speaking out in support of her longtime friend and former co-anchor Savannah Guthrie—and her message is short, but powerful.
“Bring her home,” Kotb wrote along with a praying hand emoji on her Instagram Story Sunday, March 22, sharing a post from Guthrie’s family as the search for her mother, Nancy Guthrie, continues. Kotb also commented several praying emojis.
It’s been seven weeks since Nancy, 84, was reported missing in Tucson, Arizona, and despite ongoing efforts, there have been no major breakthroughs in the case. Still, her family is holding onto hope and urging the public not to give up.
In a new statement shared via Savannah’s Instagram that same day, the family—signed by Nancy’s children Savannah, Annie, and Camron, along with their spouses—thanked supporters while asking for renewed attention in the search.
View this post on Instagram“We desperately ask this community for renewed attention to our mom’s case – please consult camera footage, journal notes, text messages, observations or conversations that in retrospect may hold significance. No detail is too small. It may be the key,” the statement reads.
They continued, “We miss our mom with every breath and we cannot be in peace until she is home. We cannot grieve; we can only ache and wonder. Our focus is solely on finding her and bringing her home.”

Savannah has understandably stepped away from her role on Today amid the ongoing situation. She and Kotb shared the anchor desk for nearly a decade before Kotb stepped down earlier this year, but their close bond has remained evident.
And Savannah made a brief return to Today earlier this month, marking her first appearance at the studio since her mother was abducted. On March 5, the longtime anchor stopped by Studio 1A in New York City to reconnect with colleagues and express her gratitude for their support.
“Savannah Guthrie stopped by the studio this morning to be with and thank her Today colleagues,” the network said in a statement. “While she plans to return to the show on air, she remains focused right now supporting her family and working to help bring Nancy home.” Video from the visit showed an emotional reunion, with Savannah embracing several of her coworkers.
Chappell Roan Responds to Allegations Concerning Jude Law's Daughter
Chappell Roan, who is currently at the center of viral controversy over celebrity–fan boundaries, has responded to the allegations made against her.
Yesterday, March 21, Brazilian soccer player Jorginho Frello criticized the "Subway" singer in his InstagramStories following an incident involving his young daughter, Ada Law, whose biological father is Jude Law.
What's Going On With Chappell Roan and Jorginho Frello?“I went through a very upsetting situation with my family earlier today,” Frello started his story, which was written in both English and Portuguese. “My wife is in São Paulo for LollapaloozaBrasil. This morning, my daughter woke up incredibly excited. She even made a sign because she was so happy to see an artist she really admires, or used to admire."
He went on to share that Ada spotted Chappell Roan during breakfast at a hotel they were all staying at. Excited, Ada got up to take a closer peek.
“The worst part is [Ada] didn't even approach her,” Frello shared. “She simply walked past the singer's table, looked to confirm it was her, smiled, and went back to sit with her mum. She didn't say anything, didn't ask for anything.”
He then shared that a “large security guard” approached their table and spoke to them in an “aggressive manner” causing 11-year-old Ada to start crying.
After writing about living with exposure and boundaries for famous people, he wrote, “I sincerely hope this serves as a moment of reflection. No one should have to go through this, especially not a child.”
He then tagged Chappell Roan, and concluded, in all caps, “WITHOUT YOUR FANS, YOU WOULD BE NOTHING. AND TO THE FANS, SHE DOES NOT DESERVE YOUR AFFECTION."
Has Chappel Roan Responded to Jorginho Frello Yet?Today, Chappell Roan took to her Instagram Stories to issue an apology and response to the Flamengo soccer star. Bare-faced and lying down in bed, she filmed a video addressing Frello’s allegations head-on.
“I’m just gonna tell my half of the story of what happened today with a mother and child who were involved with a security guard who is not my personal security,” the “Pink Pony Club” artist began her video. “I didn’t even see a woman and a child. Like, I did not. No one came up to me. No one bothered me.”
Chappell Roan responds to Jorginho Frello. She added, “Like, I was just sitting at breakfast in my hotel. I think these people were staying at the hotel as well. So the fact that, like, a security guard who is — I did not ask the security guard to go up and talk to this mother and child. I did not. They did not come up to me. They weren’t doing anything. It’s unfair for security to just assume someone doesn’t have good intentions when they have no reason to believe because there’s no action even taken.”
She concluded the video, “And I do not hate people who are fans of my music. I do not hate children. Like, that is crazy. I’m sorry to the mother and child that someone was assuming something, that you would do something, and if you felt uncomfortable that makes me really sad. You did not deserve that.”
Is Chappell Roan Banned From Todo Mundo No Rio?Chappell Roan was in São Paulo for Lollapalooza Brasil and was in talks to perform at Todo Mundo no Rio, a festival touted as “the world’s largest dance floor.” However, following the incident, Eduardo Cavaliere, the mayor of Rio de Janeiro, has banned her from the event.
— Eduardo Cavaliere (@CavaliereRio) March 21, 2026“I mean that as long as I’m in charge of our city – this young lady will never perform at Todo Mundo no Rio!” he wrote on X yesterday in Portuguese.
So far, Shakira is the only confirmed artist for this year’s event, set to headline at Copacabana on May 2.

Kellie Shanygne Williams, Laura Winslow on ‘Family Matters,’ Turns 50 in a Crop Top and Big Hat
Kellie Shanygne Williams is best known for her role as Laura Winslow on the iconic '90s family sitcomFamily Matters, but she's more stunning than ever at 50.
Williams, who turns 50 on March 22, took on the role of Laura Winslow on the beloved TV series in 1989, when she was just 13 years old. The show, which also starred Reginald VelJohnson, Jo Marie Payton, and Jaleel White, told the story of a Black Chicago family helmed by a loving father, Carl Winslow, a police officer. White, of course, rose to superstardom as the nerdy next-door neighbor Steve Urkel. However, it was always Williams in the role of Laura who played a stabilizing force on the series.
In celebration of her 50th birthday on Sunday, Williams took to Instagram to share a photo of herself looking stunning in a black crop top and oversized hat.
"Feeling so blessed today. Thank you all for the incredible love, messages, and support on my 50th birthday. My heart is truly full. ❤️ I’m grateful for my amazing family and friends who continue to pour into me, lift me up, and walk with me through every season. Your kindness means more than you know. Here’s to growth, joy, gratitude, and the beautiful journey ahead!" she captioned the stunning shot.
View this post on Instagram Is There a Family Matters Podcast?Yes! Williams and her co-star, Telma Hopkins, who played Rachel, the sister of Harriette Winslow and aunt to Laura, recently started a podcast called Welcome to the Family with Telma and Kellie.
In a statement, Williams opened up about why she and Hopkins decided to create a podcast about making the iconic show.
“To this day, ‘Family Matters’ is one of the most-streamed sitcoms, and it is an honor for me to be able to go back in time and remember what it was like as a kid to grow up on the show and go through some of the same things my character, Laura Winslow, did," Williams shared, Variety reported. "Not to mention doing it with my surrogate mom, Telma, who’s become one of my closest friends and is really another member of my family, as well as reconnecting with fans and hearing how the show impacted them. We hope fans enjoy listening to these episodes as much as we have enjoyed making them!”
Here's a quick taste of the podcast:
Will There Be a Family Matters Reboot?Maybe! Bryton James, who played Richie Crawford on the series, told Entertainment Weekly that he's "had an idea to take the show and turn it into an animated series." It would involve "taking the old episodes and modernizing them and kind of starting from scratch for the new generation."
Now a star on Beyond the Gates, James said the fate of the idea is "sitting in Warner Bros.' hands right now… That plan is still kind of floating around out there, and I'm still trying to pursue it."
We'll keep our fingers crossed!

Kyle Richards Reveals Relationship Status Following Separation from Mauricio Umansky
Kyle Richardsis opening up about her dating life since her split from Mauricio Umansky.
Richards spoke exclusively to People at the An Unforgettable Evening charity event on Wednesday, March 11 in Los Angeles.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hillsstar shared that she is currently single and focusing on her career.
"All I do is work," Richards said. "I started my production company, House of 18, and I have four TV shows in development [that I'm] producing. So I'm just really excited about that, and I've been acting."
She continued: "I just did Lincoln Lawyer. I just did another show. So just keeping acting and producing going while I'm doing the Housewives and just wearing a lot of hats, but keeping myself busy."
Richards and Umansky separated in 2023 after 27 years of marriage. The two share three children together: Alexia, 29, Sophia, 26, Portia Umansky, 18, and Richards' daughter from her previous marriage, Farrah Brittany, 37.
In an episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills that aired back in Dec. 2025, Richards revealed that she had been in a relationship with someone she "fell hard for" after her split from Umansky. Richards explained she chose to keep the relationship private out of respect for her former partner.
"When I’m in love with somebody, I want to share that. I’m an open person like that,” she said during the episode. "That doesn’t mean the person I’m with feels the same way. All the speculation and the gossip and the talking is ultimately what ended it. I could’ve weathered the storm, but this is not for everyone."
Umansky had also previously told People that he is currently in an "era of being single."
