A common misconception is that a dog being surrendered to a shelter always means they weren’t loved. Some people think it says something negative about the people who surrendered them, no matter what, but that’s not always the case. Plenty of shelter dogs come from loving homes.

More than that, they even have people who will love and miss them. Not everybody in the home has a say in the decision, after all, which is why one little kid decided to send a love letter for their dog when he was surrendered. Get some tissues before you watch:

Some surrender notes stay with you. Cotton came to us with a note from a child who loved him deeply. A child who had to say goodbye to their best friend while their family faced something no child should have to carry: a loved one battling cancer. They didn’t stop loving Cotton. There was not a dry eye at the Greenville Humane Society when Cotton came in with that love letter. It’s not addressed to his next home, or even to the shelter: it’s just for him. Whoever adopts him better keep it for life! Some of the things it says are:

• “You will always be my wiggle butt.”
• “No matter how far, I’m always here with you.”
• “You have helped me through so much in life.”

There simply aren’t even words for it. Cotton came from the most loving home, but the adult in the home is battling cancer and they weren’t able to give him everything he needed to truly be happy, so they made the difficult choice to surrender him. They believe he deserves someone who can give him more.

Cotton’s video was posted yesterday, and as of today, he has a lot of interest. They’ll be taking appointments for potential adopters to meet him and then, hopefully, sending him off to a new home! Cotton isn’t the only one who needs a home, though. There’s this sweet boy, who’s been waiting even longer:

This is what shelter stress looks like. 💔 Reggie hasn’t been with us as long as many of our dogs, but he’s struggling, and he’s struggling worse every day. He’s frightened by his kennel and the confinement of shelter life, and we’re seeing the toll it’s taking on him. Our Behavior & Enrichment team is doing everything they can to build trust, create positive associations, and help him feel safe. But for Reggie, those things can only go so far. He needs a home. He needs HIS people. A human to love who doesn’t clock out at the end of the day. He needs a place where he can decompress, feel safe, and finally live the life he was meant to live – not one spent behind kennel walls. This is the hard reality of shelter life. We can keep their kennels clean and comfortable. We can provide enrichment, companionship, and endless love. When Is Surrender the Right Choice?

I used to spend a lot of time in animal shelters, and I have seen some stuff. Having been so up close with so many animals, I can honestly say that sometimes, surrendering a pet is the best thing for them, even if that’s not what the general public wants to hear.

While keeping your pet and shifting to meet their needs is preferable to surrendering them, that’s not always possible. There are some instances where surrendering your dog might be the best choice:

• You’re suffering unexpected long-term health issues and don’t have support to care for them.
• You sought out an active breed and can’t support their active lifestyle.
• You cannot financially support them anymore (there are resources that can help sometimes!).

If your dog is not living their best life and you genuinely believe you can’t handle them anymore, surrendering them to a shelter or a breed-specific rescue is often the best choice. If you can, try re-homing them with someone you know and trust first. Other than that, you can work with the shelter to give your pet the best chance of finding another home fast. Apparently, a love letter works great!

Well, technically it’s a fake turkey, but nobody had explained that to Bella yet.

Mom carries the bird into the room, and her entire body changes the second she spots it. Her feathers shoot up. Her crest is high. Her head is bobbing, and her beak opens about as wide as a Cockatoo beak can possibly open.

This is NOT a subtle review.

Mom, apparently determined to make things worse, starts admiring the newcomer and calling it a pretty bird.

I love how quickly the scene goes from “What is that?” to what feels like “Why are you complimenting it in MY house?”

Then Bella takes the investigation elsewhere.

At one point she’s perched over the Parakeet’s cage with her beak wide open, seemingly delivering an urgent briefing about the enormous imposter in the living room.

One commenter imagines Bella trying to explain the seriousness of the situation to the Parakeet, and that absolutely finished me.

Another viewer simply observed that this girl’s feathers were extremely ruffled.

Zero argument there.

What makes the video so great is how completely Bella commits. The fake turkey doesn’t move. Well, Mom moves it. It doesn’t make a sound. It poses no obvious threat whatsoever.

Bella doesn’t care.

To her, suddenly there’s a suspicious new bird occupying valuable couch territory, Mom is complimenting it, and apparently, nobody else has the appropriate level of concern.

And really, can anyone blame her? From her point of view, a giant unfamiliar bird has appeared indoors without introduction, claimed the couch, and somehow earned praise from Mom. That’s enough drama for one afternoon.

Honestly, I’d watch an entire series of her being introduced to harmless household objects.

But that huge crest and open beak are also a good reminder that Parrots can tell you a lot without saying a word.

What Cockatoo Body Language Really Means

Cockatoos communicate with far more than their voices. LafeberVet explains that an upright crest can signal strong excitement in response to something positive or negative, while an open beak, lunging, and other postures can appear when a Parrot is highly excited or defensive.

If your Cockatoo suddenly goes full Bella:

• Look at the whole bird. A raised crest alone doesn’t tell you everything, so notice the beak, wings, posture, eyes, and what triggered the reaction.
• Give big feelings some space. An overstimulated bird can bite even when the reaction began as excitement rather than aggression.
• Introduce strange things slowly. Don’t taunt the bird. Let your bird observe unfamiliar objects from a comfortable distance instead of forcing an interaction.

She may eventually decide the turkey is harmless.

I would expect an apology.

I have seen plenty of college students play beer pong with absolute confidence and ZERO aim, so watching a Border Collie casually sink a shot feels personal. Possum stands at the end of the set up, tosses the ball directly into a red cup, and makes the entire thing look ridiculously easy.

Of course, this is not some lucky bounce from a dog who happened to find a ball. Possum was trained by his extremely talented dog mom, Haley, and he clearly understands the game. He takes his turn, watches the cup, and lands the shot while the humans probably miss more shots than they make.

The impressive clip was shared by @haleyandthepets, an animal wrangler and trainer from Long Island whose household includes eight dogs, eight ferrets, two bunnies, and three cats. I assume there is never a dull moment — or an unattended snack — in that house.

“This dog needs to be in the next Hangover movie or something like it,” one viewer joked.

“A dog has better aim than me,” another person admitted. Same.

Border Collies are widely known for their intelligence, focus, and ability to learn complicated behaviors. They were developed to work closely with people while herding livestock, which required them to notice subtle cues, make fast decisions, and keep working even when the situation changed.

That clever brain needs something to do. Border Collies often thrive with training sessions, puzzle toys, scent games, dog sports, and jobs that challenge them both mentally and physically. Without enough activity, they may invent their own projects, and those projects may not match the household agenda.

Possum clearly has no shortage of enrichment. He can play beer pong, lives in what sounds like the world’s most whimsical animal house, and has a professional trainer for a mom.

The only question left is whether he is accepting teammates.

I need everyone to stop what they’re doing and look at this kitten’s FACE. I thought I was prepared for a cute kitten video. I was not prepared for a round little baby with a caramel and chocolate swirl down his face, a huge fluffy mane, and cheeks that look like they might be made of marshmallow.

The tiny kitten is held up for the camera, and somehow he looks both like a baby lion and like he’s mildly offended that we’re all staring at him. But what am I supposed to do? His fur sticks out around his head, his eyes are enormous, and his whole little face is so perfectly chubby that I want to scoop him up and cancel everything else I had planned today.

TikTok’s @royalbritishempire shared the clip, and the comments are full of people having the same completely reasonable reaction. “Is it real? OMG, it’s the cutest thing ever,” one person wrote. Another said, “I would never put it down. A little squishy.” EXACTLY. Someone else called him a “little ice cream swirl baby,” which might be the best description of that toffee-colored fur I’ve seen.

Then there’s the person who said he looks like an Ewok. Between the round face and all that fluff, I can see it. He’s a baby lion, an Ewok, and possibly a very fancy scoop of ice cream. My boss Mary and I both want to bring him home, so the comments asking “I want one?” are speaking for us, too. The issue is Mary has a very spoiled Shih-Tzu named Tito and I have my huge Maine Coon named Meatball and neither one of our pets want a new sibling!

That plush, round-cheeked look is part of what makes British cats so hard to resist. People often think of British Shorthairs and their dense, velvety coats, but this kitten’s dramatic mane is much longer. Whatever his exact breed, the little guy has taken the round-face situation to an entirely unreasonable level.

I keep going back to the split of color right down his nose. One side is warm caramel, the other deep brown, and then there’s that little white muzzle peeking out underneath it all. How does one tiny kitten have this much going on? I’m with the commenter who simply said, “I’m so in love.”

Puppies often get nicknamed after food items for some reason. Since pups are so over-the-top adorable, it just seems natural to call them “noodle”, “potato”, “cookie”, or “nugget”. Oddly enough, all of these edible monikers seem to interchangeably fit due to a fluffy fur baby’s irresistible cuteness.

In the TikTok from @biscuitbutterboy, the precious pooch was held up to the camera to show off his extra floofy fur and sweet-as-candy face. Biscuit’s chocolate brown eyes seemed to look into your soul and make you instantly fall head over heels in love with him.

Biscuit almost looked like he was plucked off a toy shelf or made in a stuffed animal factory. His layers of soft, cloud-like fur looked like sheaths of cinnamon marshmallow fluff, just adding to his heartwarming appearance.

What to Expect in Your Golden Retriever Puppy’s First Months

Golden Retriever puppies bring so much joy into families. Over their first few months, they start discovering the world around them with great excitement and curiosity:

• Months 1 and 2: Newborn puppies are totally dependent on their mother at birth and slowly start to learn independence and socialization. At around 6 to 8 weeks, they are ready for adoption.

It’s as if Buster has his own “Postman’s Creed,” but instead of the traditional wording, his motto is “Neither heavy rain nor mother’s pleas would keep this dog from his daily swim.” It can be absolutely pouring, like it is in this video, but no amount of coaxing or chasing can convince Buster to return to the house. His commitment to swimming is exhausting and one of the most extreme examples of a water dog living his truth.

Why Do Labs Love Water So Much?

Because, according to the American Kennel Club, they were designed for it, right down to the tail.

Labrador Retrievers come from Newfoundland — not Labrador, despite the name — where they worked as duck retrievers and fishermen’s mates. Every part of the breed reflects that job: the thick, tapered “otter tail” that acts as a rudder, and the webbed feet that help these dogs move faster in water than most dogs can on land. Labs also boast a double coat that isn’t merely thick; it’s waterproof. A Lab’s coat is built for cold North Atlantic water, so swimming in a backyard pool in the rain is no biggie.

So when a Lab like Buster refuses to get out, he isn’t being difficult (or at least not trying to be). He’s a dog in his happiest place, being asked to abandon the one environment he was specifically engineered for. The rain isn’t a deterrent for Buster or his relatives. If anything, it adds to the pure joy.

The AKC also notes that Labs need serious daily exercise, so swimming is the ideal workout. Entire athletic disciplines have been built around Labs’ affinity for water and their ability to work in the water for hours. For example, dock diving is now a competitive sport, as are waterfowl hunting trials.

While Buster isn’t exactly working, he is doing what he was born to do – and overachieving at it. We hope he never changes.

I have seen cats sneak into a selfie before, but this little girl appears to have decided she needs to pose for it properly. While her mom sits in a chair with her phone, the cat stands beside her on two legs, front paws held up like she’s ready for her close-up.

And she just keeps standing there, front paws raised, wobbling slightly beside her mom as if posing for the selfie is a very serious job. She looks like a tiny meerkat crossed with the world’s cutest robot. I would have taken approximately 400 photos.

The clip comes from TikTok’s @auntjojo11, whose cat has people in the comments trying to describe what they just watched. “Why is yours animatronic?” one person asked. Another offered, “A meerkat inside a body of a mere cat.” Personally, I’m still stuck on the commenter who wrote, “Mother, I must be vertical.”

The jokes are funny, but her cat mom also shared a little more about her. In a reply, she said the cat has had neurological challenges since birth and has been to the vet multiple times. She said the vets aren’t sure exactly why she moves this way. The cat is now five years old, and her mom called her “my whole world.” Okay, now I love them both.

It’s easy to see why the video has people watching again and again. There’s the determined standing pose, the tiny paws in the air, and that wobbly sit beside the person she loves. She doesn’t seem particularly concerned with how a cat is supposed to pose for a selfie. She’s in the picture, and that’s what matters.

One commenter said she looks like she’s being piloted by tiny aliens who don’t know how cats behave. That image is going to live in my head all day, but so is the way her mom talks about her. This little cat has a person who knows her quirks, looks after her, and clearly thinks she’s wonderful. Now excuse me while I watch her sit down one more time.

My dogs are all black and white, but if there’s one coat color I have a soft spot for, it’s brown. I just think brown dogs are the cutest, and when you put them in the sunlight, they look like melted chocolate!

Piper the Pointer stole my heart. I can’t handle puppies! Their little noises are so cute, and especially German Shorthaired Pointer puppies. They have the most adorable polka dots all over their coats. In this video, there’s also a blanket that almost perfectly matches her.

She looks like she just swam through a pool of chocolate syrup! Her adult coat will mostly look exactly like that, too, though some of the dots may get a little bit less blurry. Even her eyes are an adorable chocolate brown color.

How Rare Is a Brown Ragdoll?

Rarer than you’d guess, and in a more interesting way than “unusual color.”

The classic Ragdoll everyone pictures is a pointed cat—pale body, darker face, ears, legs, and tail —and always has blue eyes. The Cat Fanciers’ Association recognizes exactly six point colors: seal, blue, chocolate, lilac, red, and cream. Cinnamon isn’t on that list. Neither is a cat who’s rich brown from nose to tail.

That’s because Bubba is actually a Cherubim.

Cherubims are purebred Ragdolls carrying non-pointed genetics — same origins, same body type, same silky coat, same famously easygoing temperament, but with full-body color instead of points. The name traces back to the 1960s, when one breeder used “Cherubim” for her gentle indoor cats while calling the solids “Miracle Ragdolls.”

Their coloring falls into a few categories. Mink cats carry one colorpoint gene and one full-color gene. Sepias carry two, which produce the deepest and rarest shades of all. Solids have no point restriction, and any of these can come with lynx, bicolor, or tuxedo patterning layered on top. Calling Bubba cinnamon is deliciously accurate, but not technically so.

The honest answer about Bubba is that he isn’t a rare version of a familiar cat. He’s an exquisite member of a lesser-known category of feline – and in a mesmerizing shade that sounds more like a dessert than a color.

I used to spend a lot of time in animal shelters, and though I don’t have time anymore and prefer to mostly just support them with donations, there are some dogs that stick with me even still. If I could give every single shelter dog in the world a hug and a home, I would.

Allie is a 7-month-old German Shepherd available at the Greater Humane Society of Greater Niagara in Ontario, Canada.

According to Behind the Kennels, she’s dog- and kid-friendly, but probably not great for cats. She also still has a lot of growing left to do: just look at those fluffy ears. She’s just a baby! She needs a loving home that will help her grow and learn who she is outside of a shelter!

German Shepherds are one of the most common dog breeds to find in shelters. People tend to get them expecting one thing, only to find out that the dog they’re actually getting is completely different. It’s sad, but it really is the reality for this breed a lot of the time.

There is nothing wrong with adopting a German Shepherd from a shelter as long as you know what you’re really signing up for. In fact, adopting from a shelter will not only help you save a life, but you can often find any age, from puppies to seniors. Before you do, though, you should:

• Read it again, and be honest with yourself about whether you’re a good fit.
• Set up an appointment to meet the dog first.
• Ask the shelter for the best transition method.

Leo was supposed to become a service dog. He learned how to alert his human, but he never finished service dog training. Thankfully, these days, he found a way to use that skill for something far less official and apparently much more rewarding: booping his human on the knees when he wants a treat.

Ellie Copied the Trick, but Oliver Perfected the Model

Ellie has never undergone training to be a service dog, but once she saw Leo’s habit of booping their parent to get a treat, she started doing the same.

The comment section agrees that Ellie gives gentle little nose boops, while Leo’s attempts are more enthusiastic. “Ellie’s nose boops are so gentle and Leo’s are like a jackhammer lol,” one viewer pointed out on Facebook.

Then there is Oliver. He doesn’t boop because he does not need to. He simply stands nearby and waits for the treats to arrive. That made him the star of the video. “Oliver just here to provide the vibes,” wrote one person.” Another joked, “This is Oliver. He’s a freeloader.”

I’d argue that he perfected the approach. Why work when his siblings can create treat opportunities themselves?

What makes the video funny is how it shows dogs learning from each other in a household. Social learning works in both ways.

One commenter shared a great example of this phenomenon: “I fostered a dog that taught my dog if you lay your head in the guest’s lap while they are at the dinner table, you get food. Then fostered another dog that taught him if that doesn’t work, you can just nudge their elbow mid-bite and there’s a chance they will drop their food.”

Dogs see what works and then try to emulate that. Leo figured out that the alert produces treats, and Ellie watched him and proved his strategy. Meanwhile, Oliver discovered that being present is enough.

How to Include Your Dog in Your Wedding

Are you planning a wedding and want your pup to be a part of it? If you didn’t before, you probably do after watching that adorable video. Well, there are many ways you can make sure your dog is a part of your big day, whether that means having them involved in every aspect of the festivities like Swayze or taking a smaller, yet just as meaningful, approach. 

First and foremost, you need to consider your dog’s temperament and personality. Are they comfortable in big crowds and getting a ton of attention or would being at the reception give them anxiety? Swayze clearly loves being the life of the party but not all dogs thrive in those types of situations. 

If your dog is more of the shy type, consider leaving them at home with a pet sitter but having place cards or table number cards with their photo or a sketch of them on it. So even if they aren’t there, you can feel their presence and the guests will know how much they mean to you. They could always be there while you’re getting ready and then skip out on the ceremony, too.   

If your dog loves to be in the mix, they could get dressed up in their own little doggy tux, tutu, or floral collar. Remember not all dogs love to wear clothing, though, so simply decorating their leash could also do the trick. If you want more than just a look, your pup could walk down the aisle with a flower girl or ring bearer (or be the flower girl or ring bearer!) or sit at the altar while you say your “I dos.” They could be included in your photos, incorporated into your first dance, or have their own special bowl and eat dinner next to you. And in 23 states, your dog can even be your wedding witness. 

Also, remember that as the bride or groom, you are going to be doing a million things at your wedding and will not be able to watch over your pup. Be sure to have a dedicated person in charge of your dog—or hire a pet sitter if you don’t have a family member or friend that can do it. 

The most important thing is that you and your dog aren’t stressed on your big day and can fully enjoy all the festivities—just like our favorite canine filmmaker, the Sheepadoodle Swayze.

Your dog’s idea of a great walk probably has very little to do with how many miles you cover. A good sniff, a quiet sidewalk and somewhere interesting to explore can be enough to turn an ordinary walk into the best part of the day.

Now, a new report from Rover and Redfin has put numbers behind what makes a city appealing to dogs and their people.

The companies analyzed 11 Canadian cities using Rover’s dog breed data alongside Redfin’s Walk Scores, a measure of how easy it is to get around on foot. Vancouver earned the top spot, but three of the best five cities are in Ontario.

Vancouver, British Columbia, earned the top spot with a walk score of 79.8, the highest in the country by a wide margin. Montreal, Quebec, came in second at 65.4, followed by Toronto, Hamilton and Mississauga, making Ontario the best province with three of the top five spots. Overall, the province has six of the 11 best cities, including Brampton, Ottawa and Cambridge.

The research by Rover and Redfin also included the most popular breed in the city and trending breeds with year-over-year growth.

Six of the 11 cities listed the golden retriever as the most popular breed. Two others chose Labrador retriever, and one more added goldendoodle.

Here is the fun part. Brittany spaniel is trending in Vancouver, while the mini Australian shepherd is trending in Montreal. The big surprise is the Australian kelpie, with a 908 percent year-over-year growth.

Expert Tips for a Reward-Based Dog Walk

The numbers are fun to compare, but your dog doesn’t care about a city ranking. Certified professional dog trainer Nicole Ellis, who works with Rover, says pet parents should think about what makes a walk rewarding for their pet.

Her first tip for novice dog parents is simple: let your dog sniff. “Walks aren’t just physical exercise,” she tells ParadePets. “Sniffing gives dogs mental enrichment and lets them collect information about their surroundings.”

To begin, practice walking indoors. That way your dog has fewer distractions, and you can build up the basics before you head outside.

Most importantly, she suggests bringing treats, lots of them. Reward behaviors you want. For example, Ellis suggests checking in with you, walking on a loose leash, and calmly passing distractions.

How to Walk a Reactive Dog Safely

Ellie says distance is your best tool if you have a reactive dog. Your dog doesn’t have to walk right past every dog, person, bike or any other potential trigger. She suggests crossing the street, turning around, or creating space before your dog can react to the trigger.

Tips for Walking Senior Dogs

For senior dogs, let them set the pace. Senior walks don’t need to be long; they need to be slower and shorter. Also, make sure to pay attention to surfaces and temperature.

Ellis also suggests having a backup plan, such as a stroller or wagon that allows your older dog to join a longer outing without having to walk the entire way.

Rover’s report also offered some additional interesting insights. It categorized each city into a dog personality archetype based on walk score, trending breeds, and local lifestyle.

For the adventure dog, the report suggests Vancouver and Montreal, cities with mountains, trails, seawalls and four-season outdoor culture.

The apartment dog thrives in Surrey and Brampton, moderate and residential cities where a lower-energy companion will do just fine.

The social dog will love Hamilton, Mississauga and Cambridge. These cities offer tight-knit communities with strong neighborhood cultures.

If you are a busy pet parent, Toronto and Ottawa are your city. These fast-paced cities have plenty of professionals who can handle your dog’s active schedule.

Shelters are extremely overcrowded with abandoned and stray dogs, where many of these canines get overlooked due to sheer numbers. The longer a dog gets passed over, the less chance they have for adoption due to the misconception that there is something wrong with the pooch.

Blackberry the Pit Bull mix lingered in the San Diego Humane Society for over 500 days. When she finally reached the day where she was leaving the shelter for good, the precious pooch couldn’t contain her excitement.

In the TikTok from @sdhumanesociety, Blackberry was clearly bursting with joy about something that was definitely worth celebrating.

“After nearly 500 days in care, we’re excited to announce our beloved Blackberry has been ADOPTED!” the caption shared. “Blackberry joined our care back in April 2025 as a stray. Over the year and a half she was with us, our team got to know this sweet girl pretty well — and it didn’t take long for us to fall in love with her.”

Blackberry literally bolted toward the reception area as the shelter staff member noted the canine cutie “can’t get out of her soon enough”.

As soon as Blackberry saw her new dad, nothing could hold her back. She raced to him as fast as she could and was greeted with a huge smile and lots of affection.

“Is that your person?” the staff member raved. “She said ‘I love this guy!'”

Humane Society Staff Never Gave Up

Blackberry’s zest for life and heart of gold won everyone over at the shelter. The entire staff was determined to find the friendly fur baby a forever family.


“Throughout her time with us, one thing never changed: our commitment to her,” the story continued. “As the weeks turned into months and eventually became 498 days, we were there for her as long as it took to find the right home. And now, that special person has finally found her.”

The team members and volunteers at San Diego’s Humane Society consider this adoption “extra special” and are thrilled that Blackberry has a real home. The precious pooch was smiling as she left in her dad’s car for her official freedom ride.

Steph’s dogs love each other… Probably. This is just what love looks like for dogs sometimes! You can definitely tell that they’re not actually fighting, either. They’re only playing, though dogs have a way of making it seem like they’re really going at it. Then when you interfere, they look at you like you overreacted.

The Golden Retriever’s name is Sadie, and her brother is new to their home: Steph’s mom apparently had a couple of puppies, so obviously, she had to have one. They get along great, though Sadie isn’t sure she can truly keep up with her baby brother yet. He’s crazy!

The Schneagle puppy’s name hasn’t been shared yet, but in just about every video he’s in, he’s trying to fight his sister. She’s a lot bigger than he is, so he’s really lucky she keeps putting up with him! It’s super cute:

Schneagles Are Energetic

Puppies, no matter the breed, tend to be little balls of energy. They’ve never done anything before! Everything is new to them, and they’re growing so rapidly! Even the lazier breeds will be crazy as puppies, but Schneagles take that to another level.

The Schneagle is a Beagle-Schnauzer cross. Both breeds were bred to work, and as such, they like to be active. They may like to sit on the couch and cuddle sometimes, but they also need a lot of training and exercise. Schneagles particularly like:

• Sniffing exercises.
• Running for long distances.
• Fetch.

They love to chase after things, and they adore following a trail. Luckily for this Schneagle puppy, his Golden Retriever sister will support him in doing that and starting a career as a professional wrestler!

Animals have a special way of reminding us to be joyful for no particular reason at all. As a dog mom, it’s one of the things I love most about my four-legged kids. They’re excited just to get up in the morning and take their walk, and they overflow with happiness over car rides and treat breaks.

For two Valais Blacknose sheep with perhaps the cutest names imaginable, Begonia and Petunia, that cheerfulness was on full display as they hopped through their yard. With their fabulous fluffy coats, black-and-cream legs, and practically perfect synchronization, it’s about the happiest hops you’ll ever see.

Begonia and Petunia’s mom joked in the caption that these girls clearly had “somewhere very important to be.” But maybe they’re happiest because they don’t have anywhere in particular to be. At least that’s how I feel when I wake up on a weekend morning.

People couldn’t get enough of these joyful sisters. @Delaney commented, “A new animal to add to the list of animals I will get if I ever become rich.”

Originally from the Valais region of Switzerland, these fluffy sheep are also known for their friendly, docile nature. And judging by the sisters’ joyful dash through the yard, they certainly aren’t shy about showing off their playful side.
