Classic Rock Legend Makes Surprise Appearance at ‘Best Brunchtime Show in History’
Only days after he released his scathing anti-ICE protest song “Streets of Minneapolis,” Bruce Springsteen made a surprise appearance at a Minneapolis concert to benefit the families of ICE shooting victims Renée Good and Alex Pretti.
The daytime show, headlined by Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello, was billed as “A Concert of Solidarity & Resistance to Defend Minnesota!” and promised that “100% of the proceeds [will] go to the families of ICE victims Renee Good and Alex Pretti.”
Also on the bill were Rise Against, Al DiMeola & Ike Reilly and a “very special guest,” who true to rumors, turned out to be Springsteen. The show was held at the fabled Minneapolis nightspot First Avenue, featured in Prince’s movie Purple Rain and home to legendary performances by such hometown alternative rock heroes as the Replacements, Hüsker Dü and Sou Asylum.
Springsteen opened his set with the live debut of “Streets of Minneapolis,” performed solo acoustic. “This is for the people of Minneapolis, the people of Minnesota,” he told the audience of 1,500 fans, per The Minnesota Star Tribune.
He was later joined by Morello’s band to perform his 1995 song “The Ghost of Tom Joad,” a song that he’s played with Morello and the E Street Band in the past and that has been covered by Rage Against the Machine. He also took part in an all-star version of John Lennon’s “Power to the People” with several other performers on the bill, according to setlist.fm. Morello called the concert "the best brunchtime show in the history" of First Avenue, per The Minnesota Star Tribune.

— C. Riemenschneider (@ChrisRstrib) January 30, 2026During part of his performance, Springsteen played a guitar with the words “Arrest the President” plastered on it, according to The New York Times, but photos revealed it was actually on the back of Morello's guitar, which he displayed while performing with Springsteen.
Morello announced the concert with a post on his official Instagram account on Jan 28 with a poster for the gig along with a lengthy caption.
“See you THIS FRIDAY JAN 30 for a concert of solidarity & resistance to DEFEND MINNESOTA! Tickets are $25 each and are on sale now at the link in bio. EARLY SHOW! DOORS 10:30 AM!” he wrote.
“If it looks like fascism, sounds like fascism, acts like fascism, dresses like fascism, talks like fascism, kills like fascism and lies like fascism, boys & girls it’s f*cking fascism. It’s here, it’s now, it’s in my city, it’s in your city and it must be resisted, protested, defended against, stood up to, exposed, ousted, overthrown and driven out. By you and by me. We are coming to Minneapolis where the people have heroically stood up against ICE, stood up against Trump, stood up against this terrible rising tide of state terror. Where the people have stood up for their neighbors and themselves, for democracy and justice. Ain’t nobody coming to save us except us and it’s now or never,” he added.
The benefit raised more than $35,000, according to The Minnesota Star Tribune.

Frankie Muniz Beams With '90s Nostalgia to Boost Candy Crush Launch — See the Cute Ad
Being an adult is "the worst," according to Frankie Muniz. Just check out an advertisement featuring the former child star for proof.
The concept is match made in heaven for the Malcolm in the Middle actor, 40, and a recently unveiled commercial that bursts with 1990s-era charm. It's all to promote a new offering for Yahoo Games that hails from the iconic Candy Crush franchise.
Who hasn't spent/wasted at least a small chunk of their lives swiping and tapping away at the O.G. mobile game, whose creators now have a daily game for fans. It's called Crushable.
This week, Yahoo debuted the “Crush Your Day” ad campaign starring Muniz. The spot begins with the Agent Cody Banks actor at the breakfast table, lamenting grownup life. Then, poof! A box of Crushable cereal magically appears, and the whole scene explodes into color with over-the-top nostalgia and energy of classic '90s cereal commercials. Check it out below.
View this post on InstagramFans took to the comments section of the joint Instagram post to voice their support for the new collab. "Serotonin boost omg FRANKIE MUNIZ!!" wrote one user, while another person commented, "It’s giving Malcolm in the Middle vibes❤️."

“I’ve spent a lot of time playing characters who hang out at the breakfast table, but what people may not know is that I’m also a big morning person in real life,” Muniz said in a statement, per Yahoo. “I grew up watching the fun cereal commercials of the 90s, and I had just as much fun playing an over the top character and singing the jingle as I did playing [Crushable].”
Meanwhile, fans of his throwback sitcom cannot wait until the reboot Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair premieres on Hulu April 10. Emmy-winner Bryan Cranston is among the original stars also returning. Watch the trailer below.
Patrick Dempsey Explains How His Olympic Dreams Almost Led To Joining the Circus
Before Patrick Dempsey made it big, he almost ran away and joined the circus—all thanks to his unique unicycling and juggling talents.
The longtime actor, 60, opened up about the experience during an appearance on The Tonight Show on Thursday (Jan. 29) and explained that it actually all began with a dream of going to the Olympics.
While unicycling is not yet an Olympic sport, he said that as a kid, he was a big fan of Swedish alpine ski racer Ingemar Stenmark and really wanted to become a slalom skier. While watching an interview with Stenmark, he learned that the skier trained by riding a unicycle during the offseason.
"So I was like, 'Ah! This is how I'm going to make it to the Olympics,'" Dempsey explained. "I didn't have a lot of money, so I had to sell seeds door-to-door in a little town in Maine. And I made enough money…I ordered it through a Sears and Roebuck catalog."
As he progressed with his unicycle skills, he ended up learning how to juggle from his shop teacher at school. Pretty soon, he was showcasing both talents at the same time and was brought in by other performers in the area.
"For whatever reason, the New Vaudevillian Movement was starting in Maine...and all these guys brought me in and I started performing with them," Dempsey said.
Dempsey went on to share that those performances ended up leading to the beginning of his acting career.
"That's how I ended up in New York. I was like, 'Oh, I got the bug,'" he added. "I actually applied for Ringling Bros. and tried to get in."
While Dempsey did make it through the interview process, he ended up being "too young" to join the circus. Instead, he decided to pursue acting—leading to the career he has today.
You can hear all that Patrick Dempsey had to say below.
This Viral No-Bake Cookie Butter Cheesecake Is Rich, Creamy and Super Easy
Cookie butter has a way of winning people over. Whether it’s spread on waffles or pancakes, swirled into brownies or spooned straight from the jar, that sweet, spiced flavor is hard to resist. And when it shows up in cheesecake form, especially a no-bake one, it’s even more appealing.
I’ve never been someone who rushes toward cheesecake on a dessert table, but no-bake cookie butter cheesecake immediately caught my attention. It combines everything I love about no-bake desserts (ease, creaminess and zero oven time) with delicious, crowd-pleasing, cookie flavor. Once I started looking into it, I found no shortage of inspiration for the perfect cookie butter cheesecake. Social media is packed with recipes for this delicious dessert, each with its own take on the crust, the filling and topping.
Despite the endless variations, most rely on the same two building blocks: the crust and the cheesecake filling. So rather than following a single recipe, I decided to pull techniques from two different creators whose methods stood out for being super simple and easily adaptable.
I used a crust approach from Dustin Hadley (@that40yearguy) and paired it with a smooth, indulgent filling technique from Connie Homayed Kazan (@conniesweets). I ended up with a cookie butter cheesecake that feels luxurious without being fussy and is customizable depending on your tastes and dietary needs. While I made my version gluten-free, the same methods work just as well with standard speculoos or Biscoff cookies.
If you love cookie butter, appreciate an easy no-bake dessert and want a cheesecake that doesn’t require hours in the kitchen, this one checks all the boxes. Here's how to make it at your house.

A Biscoff cookie butter cheesecake is a layered dessert that combines cookie butter (most people use Biscoff cookie butter and Biscoff cookies) with classic cheesecake ingredients, like cream cheese or even store-bought cheesecake filling. Dustin's version leans fully into that no-bake style.
What makes cookie butter cheesecake different from classic cheesecake is the way it’s built from different techniques rather than strict instructions, giving you a dessert that's rich and indulgent without being heavy, and one that conveniently doesn't require any baking.

What Are Biscoff Cookies?Biscoff cookies are thin, crisp, rectangular cookies made by Lotus Bakeries. They're a specific brand of speculoos cookie, which is the broader name for a type of spiced cookie that hails from Belgium. Biscoff is also known for the smooth, creamy (or crunchy) cookie butter spread made from crushed cookies, oil and other ingredients. (You might also recognize Biscoff cookies as a common snack option on airplanes.)

For my version of this recipe, I used the crust Dustin made in his video, which calls for crushed cookies and melted butter. To make my version gluten-free, I used GF cinnamon cookies I found online. I've bought gluten-free speculoos cookies online before, but they weren't available when I was shopping for this recipe, so I bought a brand of cinnamon-flavored cookies instead. The flavor is very similar, and once crushed and combined with butter, the difference was negligible.
The cookies I went with have a different shape than the Biscoff cookies, but because the cookies are ground up to make the crust anyway, the shape didn't matter. If you don't eat gluten-free, Biscoff is the way to go and is easy to find in stores.
I also used gluten-free cookie butter in the recipe, which was made with a speculoos-type cookie, so that helped add more of the classic spiced cookie flavor to this dessert. Again, if you don't need your cookie butter cheesecake to be gluten-free, then you could use Biscoff (or pretty much any brand) cookie butter.
In his recipe, Dustin used Philadelphia Cheesecake Filling, a type of creamy, ready-to-eat filling found near the cream cheese in many grocery stores. I couldn't find that in my local store, so I decided to make my own filling, referencing a TikTok recipe from @conniesweets. For that, I needed softened cream cheese, heavy whipping cream, cookie butter, powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
For the topping, Dustin used Cool Whip, so I went ahead and used that as well. Connie also added cookies to the tops of her cheesecake, so I took that tip, too, because I liked how the finished cake looked. (I didn't eat the cookies that I put on top because they're not gluten-free, but my kids sure did enjoy them.)

@conniesweetsBiscoff No-Bake Cake Ingredients • 2 packs Biscoff cookies • 2 (8 oz) packs Biscoff cookie butter • 1 (8 oz) cream cheese, softened • ½ cup powdered sugar • 2 ½ cups heavy cream • ½ cup Biscoff cookie butter (for the whipped mixture) • 1–2 tsp vanilla (optional) ⸻ Instructions 1. Make the Biscoff Cream Layer • In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream, ½ cup Biscoff cookie butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until it begins to thicken. • Add the softened cream cheese and whip again until smooth with no lumps. 2. Assemble the Cake • In a 9×13 deep dish, lay one even layer of Biscoff cookies. • Warm some Biscoff cookie butter slightly (so it spreads easier) and spread a thin layer over the cookies. • Add half of the whipped Biscoff cream mixture and spread evenly. • Add another layer of Biscoff cookies on top. • Spread another layer of warmed Biscoff cookie butter. • Add the remaining Biscoff cream mixture and spread smoothly. • Finish with a final layer of Biscoff cookie butter on top. 3. Optional Topping • Crush a few Biscoff cookies and sprinkle over the top for decoration. 4. Chill • Refrigerate for 4–6 hours, or preferably overnight for the best texture. #fyp #fypシ #recipe #cajerecipert
♬ original sound - Connie Homayed Kazan How To Make Biscoff Cookie Butter CheesecakeTo make this cheesecake, start with the crust. Crush the cookies and combine them with melted butter until the mixture resembles damp sand. I took it a step further and blended the cookies with the butter for a finer, more cohesive texture. Then, press the crust mixture firmly into the bottom of a baking dish, forming an even layer.
Courtesy Angel Albring
Next, place the softened cream cheese in a stand mixer and beat until smooth. Add the heavy whipping cream, cookie butter, powdered sugar and vanilla and mix until fully incorporated and creamy. Spread the filling evenly over the crust, smoothing the top to ensure a clean layer. My filling was a little lumpy because there were cookie pieces in my cookie butter, but that didn't change the overall texture of this cheesecake once it was finished.
Courtesy Angel Albring
Melt the remaining cookie butter and pour it over the filling, creating a thin, glossy layer. Because mine had chunks of cookies in it, it didn't spread easily, but it still tasted great and you couldn't see this layer once the topping was added, anyway.
Courtesy Angel Albring
To finish, spread Cool Whip across the top and refrigerate for several hours (Connie's recipe calls for four to six hours of refrigeration, or overnight), which allows the layers to set before slicing and serving. Just before serving, add whole or crushed cookies (or a combination of both) to the top of the cheesecake, if you want that little extra flair.

My Thoughts About This Cookie Butter CheesecakeCourtesy Angel Albring
This cheesecake was far easier to make than I initially thought it would be. The mixing and assembling are quick, though you do have to plan ahead to make sure you have time for the dessert to chill.
The texture was the biggest win for me. The crust held together without being hard, the filling was rich and creamy and the cookie butter layer added richness without overwhelming the dessert. The cheesecake was sweet, spiced and indulgent, but not heavy, as regular baked cheesecake can sometimes be.
The only real challenge was getting the cookie crumbs fine enough at first, which the blender quickly solved. I was also pleasantly surprised by how well the gluten-free cookies mimicked classic Biscoff cookies.
I would absolutely make this no-bake cheesecake again, especially for gatherings where I want a dessert that feels impressive but doesn’t require a whole lot of effort.

Tips for Making Cookie Butter CheesecakeOne important thing I learned while making this cheesecake is that letting the cream cheese fully soften before mixing prevents lumps in the filling. I had to mash mine with a spoon a bit because there were some lumps as I was blending. Allowing the Cool Whip to soften a bit also helps.
You can microwave the cookie butter to melt it, but keep an eye on it and go in short bursts so it doesn't burn.
The cheesecake should be stored covered in the refrigerator, where it will keep well for several days. Just note that you might want to pull any cookies that you put on top off before storing the cheesecake, otherwise they will soften quite a bit.

Country Music Legend, 92, Releases 'Beautiful' New Song That Leaves Fans in 'Tears'
At 92 years old, many would expect Willie Nelson to be slowing down...but not only is the country music legend still way busier than most people, he's also putting out music that's still just as meaningful and impactful as ever.
Last year, Nelson toured with Bob Dylan on the “Outlaw Music Festival," released a duet with Steve Perry, and debuted a new THC drink, Willie's Remedy (to name just a few of his 2025 accomplishments). Now, he's kicking off 2026 with a new single, "Heart of America," on the soundtrack of the upcoming Amazon series The Gray House.
Directed by Roland Joffé, the cast of the Civil War era drama includes Mary-Louise Parker, Ben Vereen, and Keith David, and is produced by Kevin Costner and Morgan Freeman, according to Stereogum. The Gray House is scheduled to premiere next month...but fans are already falling in love with Nelson's song.
Commenters on YouTube were quick to gush over "Heart of America."
"A beautiful American Song by a beautiful American legend. We love you willie! God bless America," wrote one person, with a second adding, "Such a good song! Leave it to Willie!! Love you Willie! Thank you for sharing your talents n heart with us!!"
"The true heartfelt inner meaning of this beautiful song Willie crafted lies in the words unspoken that lie between the lines. This song brought tears to my eyes," admitted a third fan.
Willie Nelson opened up about the power of positive thinking last yearIt's no surprise to hear Nelson take an optimistic view on the future. As he told Forbes in 2025, "Thinking positive is the best thing you can do. Imagine what you want and then get out of the way."
"I think it’s time we try to make people happy and talk about the good things and be positive," he continued.
As for what "good things" make him happy personally, music is (of course) at the top of Nelson's list.
"I enjoy playing music, I enjoy seeing people get together and forget about everything except music," he said. "I think there’s a great positive exchange that takes place. We don't care what political affiliation you're with, what color you are, it doesn’t matter if you like music, come on."

Legendary Country Band Announces Final Show After 60 Years
After nearly six decades of shaping American roots music, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band has officially confirmed when they’ll take their final bow.
The longtime group has announced the last leg of its ALL THE GOOD TIMES: The Farewell Tour, revealing that their final show will take place June 18, 2026, at Denver’s Mission Ballroom. The newly added run of dates marks the concluding chapter of a touring career that began in 1966 and helped bridge folk, country, bluegrass, rock, and Americana for generations of fans.
The final stretch, dubbed “60 Years of Dirt,” follows an already packed spring schedule and brings the band through the Plains and into the American West before ending in Colorado. Tickets for all announced dates are on sale now.

The farewell update arrives alongside the release of the band’s new music video for “Nashville Skyline,” which premiered as part of a recent Los Angeles Times feature exploring why the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band’s intergenerational musical impact still resonates today. The song highlights a family-centered writing collaboration between founding member Jeff Hanna, his son and bandmate Jaime Hanna, and acclaimed songwriter Matraca Berg.
Despite the weight of a farewell tour, Hanna has emphasized that the band’s motivation has always been rooted in joy rather than obligation.
“We’ve never stopped making music…sometimes we were the Toot Uncommons with Steve Martin, or playing as Linda Ronstadt’s back-up band for a minute, but it was always great music,” Hanna told the Los Angeles Times.

He also acknowledged the complicated optics of farewell tours in the modern era. “The amount of eye rolls you get from saying ‘Farewell Tour,’ because it’s so abused,” Hanna joked. “But the rigors of touring, especially with travel the way it is…”
Even as the band winds down life on the road, the creative spark remains intact. Reflecting on the recording of their recent Night After Night EP, Hanna added, “We had the same kind of fun we did when we started. Sixty years in, what more is there?”
One of the most meaningful stops on the tour comes on May 13 in Nashville, when the band performs at the Grand Ole Opry House on the exact 60th anniversary of its formation. That milestone show serves as both a celebration of the band’s longevity and a bridge to the final leg that follows.

Originally formed as a jug band in Long Beach, California, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band went on to become one of the most influential forces in American roots music. Their groundbreaking Will the Circle Be Unbroken albums brought traditional country and bluegrass artists to new audiences, while hits like “Mr. Bojangles,” “Fishin’ in the Dark,” “An American Dream,” and “Long Hard Road (The Sharecropper’s Dream)” cemented their place in music history.
With the final dates now set, the farewell tour is no longer open-ended—giving fans one last chance to see the band live before the road comes to an end.

Catherine O’Hara Said She Was ‘Lucky’ to Be Alive Less Than 2 Years Before Her Death
Catherine O’Hara did not take anything for granted prior to her unexpected death at age 71.
In a resurfaced Elle Canada interview, the actress reflected on her exciting career opportunities in the later years of her life.
“I’m lucky [I get] to keep doing things like this at my age—I can’t believe it,” she told the outlet in August 2024 while promoting her film Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. “Over the past few years, when I’ve gotten scared or nervous or if I start grousing about something, I’ve tried to really practice turning it around and being grateful. Like, ‘How lucky are you right now to be alive? And then to have this opportunity right here in this moment?’”
After turning 70 earlier that year, O’Hara opened up about aging in Hollywood.
“I do think of age, but otherwise, I rarely look in the mirror,” she explained. “I feel that now, stories about people my age usually have to do with death and divorce and disease. So I’m really fortunate [to] have people around me who respect aging people and who give me new experiences. I’d like to think that the kind of roles I’m getting to play now are roles that people are getting to play in life.”
O’Hara pointed to her work on the Apple TV series The Studio as an example of her recent opportunities as an actress in her 70s.
“I’m playing a studio head who becomes an independent producer—how beautiful is it that someone my age is doing this?” she noted. “It’s the way it should be.”
At the time, O’Hara spoke about leaning into her thriving career rather than easing toward retirement.
“When [you turn] 70—this is advice [I read] for anybody turning any older age—imagine that you’re going to live a minimum of another 20 years,” she said. “What are you going to do with those years? If you look at it that way, you look at it as a challenge. Like, instead of, ‘Oh, no, I’m going to downsize,’ or ‘I’m going to slow down,’ imagine that you are going to live to 90. What are you going to do? You look forward.”
O’Hara’s agency, Creative Artists Agency, confirmed that the Schitt’s Creek alum died at her Los Angeles home on Friday, January 30, “following a brief illness.”
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, O’Hara was transported to a hospital in “serious condition” after paramedics were called to her home at 4:48 a.m. for medical aid.
O’Hara was known for her roles on SCTV Network 90, Beetlejuice and Home Alone before experiencing a career resurgence during her run on Schitt’s Creek from 2015 to 2020. At the time of her death, she was starring on The Studio alongside Seth Rogen.
O’Hara is survived by her husband, Bo Welch—whom she married in April 1992—and their two sons, Matthew and Luke, whom the couple welcomed in 1994 and 1997, respectively.

Ben Affleck Reveals the One Person To Make Him Truly Starstruck: 'Why Did You Say That?'
Ben Affleck may be one of the most notable actors in Hollywood but even with all his fame, he admits he still gets starstruck.
The longtime actor, 53, opened up about the moment he was truly in awe of meeting another celebrity, admitting that it had to be when he met Michael Jordan for the first time while working on his 2023 film Air.
"That was definitely a big starstruck moment, Michael Jordan," Affleck told BFF Matt Damon as part of a GQ "Friendship Quiz" video shared on Thursday (Jan. 29).
Affleck noted that just like anyone else meeting a celebrity, he looked back on the experience feeling as if he'd completely messed up the moment.
"Later on, I'm like, 'So stupid, why did you say that?'" Affleck admitted. "But hopefully I've gotten to a place where I can not prevail on someone's time too much or be inappropriate and just be respectful."
He continued, "I was really thrilled and honored and definitely very starstruck that he took the time to sit down with me and talk about the story and the movie and really grateful...It's an interesting thing when you meet a person that's so impressive to watch who is so heroic and great. It does cause a certain feeling."
Damon noted that because of the meeting, they were able to make changes to the script of Air based on Jordan's suggestions.
"We just took what he gave me and implemented into the script," Affleck explained.
Air was based on the true story of how Nike created the Air Jordan. It followed Sonny Vaccaro, the brand's basketball talent scout, as he sought out a new spokesperson for the company and became convinced that Jordan needed to sign with Nike.

Iconic '80s Rocker Announces Two Special Shows With Former Band
Fans of the iconic rock band Foreigner received some exciting news this past week.
In an Instagram post shared by Lou Gramm on Wednesday, he revealed that he is honoring his former band, Foreigner, for two special orchestral shows at the Venetian Theatre in Las Vegas on March 6 and 7.
The orchestra concerts will be conducted by Juilliard cello virtuoso Dave Eggar, who has performed, recorded and arranged for Coldplay, Paul Simon, Amy Winehouse, Beyonce and more, with his arranging partner, Chuck Palmer. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for fans allows them to experience Foreigner's popular hits being played by a 20-piece orchestra. Songs that they are expected to be played include "Hot Blooded," "Feels Like the First Time," "Waiting for a Girl Like You," "Cold as Ice" and many more.
"🎶 LAS VEGAS — WE’RE GOING BIG! 🎶," Gramm wrote in his caption. "This orchestral version of Foreigner four and all of your classic hits is sure to be a night to remember."
View this post on InstagramIn addition, Gramm revealed that there are limited VIP Meet & Greet passes for fans, which will take place before the show starts on both nights. Packages include meeting the singer in person, as well as a photo with him and a signed copy of his book Juke Box Hero. VIP access is available through Eventbrite and is sold separately from general concert tickets.
Foreigner performs at The Deluxe Tour With Lou Gramm at The Capital Theatre on December 03, 2025, in Port Chester, New York.Formed in 1976 in New York City by Gramm, Mick Jones, Ed Gagliardi, Dennis Elliott, Al Greenwood and Ian McDonald, Foreigner has become one of the best-selling rock bands. They released their self-titled debut album a year after their formation, which produced the songs "Feels Like the First Time" and "Cold Ice." The group's second album, Double Vision, was also successful and included their hits "Hot Blooded" and the title track.
Since their formation, the group has released nine studio albums, with their most recent being Can't Slow Down in 2009. Foreigner has also experienced many lineup changes over the past five decades, which included Gramm, who left in 2003.
"[Jones is] the founder of the band, he's the leader of the band, but he wasn't necessarily doing the job the way he used to do it, and he was suppressing a lot of my creativity,” Gramm admitted on SiriusXM's Classic Rewind back in November 2024. "After contributing to just about every hit song that the band had released in 20-some years, to be reduced to just a non-creative part, just the singer, didn't sit well with me."
Foreigner's current lineup includes Jones, Jeff Pilson, Michael Bluestein, Bruce Watson, Chris Frazier, Luis Maldonado and John Roth.

Despite leaving the group 23 years ago, the 75-year-old singer has joined the band on select shows over the past year. Gramm revealed last fall that he has plans to retire this year, but will be putting out his first solo album in 17 years, titled Released, which includes songs he wrote back in the 1980s. The lead single, "Young Love," is out now.
General tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at any box office at The Venetian Resort or by calling 702.414.9000 or 866.641.7469. VIP Meet & Greet packages are on Eventbrite and are being sold for $335.

Miley Cyrus Reaches a New Chart Milestone Years Into Her Career
Miley Cyrus just reached a new milestone on a Billboard country chart, years into a career that has already included major pop peaks and reinventions.
This week, “Light Of A Clear Blue Morning,” credited to Dolly Parton featuring Lainey Wilson, Miley Cyrus, Queen Latifah, and Reba McEntire, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Digital Song Sales chart.
The No. 1 debut gives Cyrus her first leader on that specific country chart.
A No. 1 That Comes Through a CollaborationThis is not a solo country single from Cyrus. It is a featured spot on Parton’s newly released version of “Light Of A Clear Blue Morning,” rolled out during Parton’s 80th birthday celebration.
Billboard’s Country Digital Song Sales chart tracks paid digital downloads, which is a different lane than radio-driven country charts or streaming-weighted lists.
That nuance matters because it explains how a star-studded, purpose-driven release can surge quickly, especially when fans are motivated to buy.

The Cause Behind the ReleaseParton’s team has framed the release as a philanthropic one, with net proceeds benefiting pediatric cancer research at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville.
Parton has also shared social posts promoting the project and reiterating the fundraising goal.
View this post on InstagramThat “buy-to-support” dynamic helps explain the immediate chart impact, and why the track is drawing attention beyond the usual chart-watch crowd.
Why This Fits Miley Cyrus’ Long GameCyrus has spent years stepping across genre lines, from her Disney-era roots on Hannah Montana to arena-scale popsuccess and rock-forward eras. The country connection has always been part of the public story, but this specific Billboard country No. 1 milestone had not happened until now.
It is also a reminder of how country-chart moments can arrive in unexpected ways in 2026, through collaborations, charity releases, and fan-driven purchase behavior, rather than traditional format campaigns alone.

Bob Iger To Step Down as Disney CEO Before End of Year
Bob Iger is reportedly planning to step down as Disney CEO before the end of his contract.
According to a report published by The Wall Street Journal, on Friday, Jan. 30, Iger has been in conversation with his associates about stepping down as CEO. Anonymous sources told The Wall Street Journal that Iger plans to "pull back from daily management" before his contract expires on Dec. 31, 2026.
Sources also claim that Iger, "told people close to him that he is ready to move on from the grind of being CEO," and that he was "frustrated" by the conflict at ABC regarding Jimmy Kimmel's temporary on-air suspension back in September 2025.
The report stated that Iger apparently told several of his associates that he, "would like to spend more of his time and energy on other things, such as sailing his new and larger super yacht, the Aquarius."
Furthermore, sources claim that Iger would like to spend more time working with his wife, Willow Bay, who is the current dean of the University of Southern California's Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism.
The WSJ also reported that the Disney board of directors will be meeting next week and are "expected to vote on who should take the top job."
According to a proxy statement filed last week by Disney chairman, James Gorman, "The appointment of the next CEO will be determined by the full Board, and we currently expect to announce the appointment of the Company’s next CEO in early 2026."
The proxy statement added, "Each internal candidate is going through a rigorous preparation process, including mentorship from Mr. Iger, external coaching and engagement with all Directors."
Iger will be up for reelection to Disney's board at the 2026 shareholders meeting that will be taking place on March 18.
