Appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday, Brendan Fraser confirmed that The Mummy 4 is officially happening, and that he's already started preparing the only way that made sense. By riding the Universal Studios attraction built around the original films.

'I heard that to get you in character for the role, Universal took you to your ride,' Fallon said, flashing a photo of Fraser aboard the Revenge of the Mummy coaster, mid-drop, grinning. 'Can you spot me?' Fraser joked. Fallon then added 'I have a ride as well' (referring to his Ride Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon ride at Universal Studios). Sheepishly, Fraser responded 'and I haven't been on it yet.'

The crowd erupted. Fraser, 57, confirmed he plans to fix that soon. 'Count on it' he said, and got back to the Mummy news people wanted to hear.

'We're going to get the band back together,' he said of the fourth Mummy film, slated for release October 15, 2027. 'We're going to give the audience what they have been bothering all of us for for the last 20-whatever years.' He stopped himself before saying too much. 'I should probably stop talking like this before I give anything away. However, I know that — please wish me luck. I'm doing my best to get this 57-year-old gear in shape.'

Rachel Weisz, who played Evelyn O'Connell in the first two films but sat out the 2008 third installment, is confirmed to return alongside Fraser. The film will be directed by Radio Silence duo Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, known for Ready or Notand the recent Screamfilms.

The Mummy news wasn't the only thing Fraser brought to Fallon's couch. He's also set to appear in the WWII drama Pressure, in theaters May 29, playing General Dwight D. Eisenhower in the tense 72 hours before D-Day. Fraser said he knew almost nothing about the history when director Anthony Maras approached him, but what sealed the deal was a side-by-side photo of himself and Eisenhower that Maras sent over.

'I was like, 'Me, really? I don't really look like Ike Eisenhower,' he told Fallon. 'And then he sent me a photo of myself alongside Dwight Eisenhower, and I went, 'Oh, okay.'

Pressure centers on the little-known story of a British meteorologist whose forecast, dismissed by most of the Allied command, persuaded Eisenhower to delay the Normandy invasion by roughly 14 hours, exploiting a narrow break in a storm system. Fraser put the story in its simplest terms. 'Eisenhower said, 'We're going on the advice of this meteorologist.' Years later, when Walter Cronkite asked Eisenhower how he'd pulled it off, Ike's answer was blunt. 'We just had better weathermen than the Germans did.'

Fallon also praised Fraser's Whaleco-star Sadie Sink, who is currently playing Juliet opposite Noah Jupe in a West End production of Romeo and Juliet in London. Fraser didn't hesitate: 'She's playing the part she was born to,' he said. 'It was written by William Shakespeare.'

Now that Julianne's brother, Derek Hough, is a dad to a baby girl, Everley, he's speaking out about how wonderful an aunt his little sister will be.

“I mean, she's gonna be the best aunt in the world. My girl's gonna get spoiled — that's for sure — from Aunt Julianne. That's for sure,” he told PEOPLE just last month, calling dad life "the best."

Hough also noted that becoming a parent has changed his focus quite a bit.

“You know, being in the industry, you wanna do great in your career and be at the top of the game and do this, achieve this,” he said. “But being a dad now — that's the pinnacle. That's the top. Everything else is now just a bonus, you know what I mean? That is the echelon right there.”

Deciding to End Her Acting Hiatus

Back in March, Hough spoke out in an interview with Entertainment Tonight about why she decided to end her acting hiatus with a return to the big screen in The Bride!.

“You know, I get to do the thing that I love which, first and foremost, is dancing. It’s acting, it’s singing,” Hough explained. “This is not a musical but my character specifically is a role that people go…and escape and have that fantasy world of what’s possible.”

Hough went on to say that the film's message really connected with her. While she wasn't attempting to be “political,” she believes it’s a “great idea to right now that we should be rebellious and band together.”

Candace Cameron Bure recently revealed a major family update—she's going to be a grandma.

The Full House alum, who just celebrated her 50th birthday, made the exciting announcement on social media.

The exciting news comes months after Natasha tied the knot with the actor on Sep. 14, 2025, during an intimate garden wedding in Malibu.

At the time, the queen of Christmas took to Instagram to celebrate her 27-year-old daughter's major life milestone, sharing several snapshots from the picturesque ceremony and writing, "We introduce to you Mr. And Mrs. Perry 🥂!! The iconic '70s heavy metal band Iron Maiden is taking a step back into the pop culture spotlight with their debut theatrical release, Iron Maiden: Burning Ambition. The documentary will be available for viewing in select theaters as a limited release.

Universal Pictures Content Group first announced the production of the documentary back in March 2025. The film marks the 50th anniversary of the heavy metal pioneers and will do a deep dive into the band's five-decade-spanning career.

Iron Maiden: Burning Ambition will feature personal interviews from band members Steve Harris, Bruce Dickinson, Dave Murray, Adrian Smith, Nicko McBrain and Janick Gers, marking the first time the band has come together to tell the full story of their rise to global stardom.

Alongside band recounts, a few famous fans were also asked to participate including, actor Javier Bardem, Metallica's Lars Ulrich, Public Enemy's Chuck D and The Cure's Simon Gallup. The confessional segments will explore both the band's firsthand accounts of the most pivotal moments from their respective careers as well as fans' perspective on the group's impact.

Directed by Dominic Freeman, Iron Maiden: Burning Ambition will chronologically cover the span of the group's entire evolution, capturing both triumphant and tumultuous moments. The hour-and-46-minute-long film will share archived footage from the band's early live performances and new animation segments created by Partizan Studio.

The volume for this year's American Music Awards has turned up! Keith Urban and Hootie & The Blowfish are two of the newest musical acts added to the award show's performance lineup.

Hootie & The Blowfish's appearance is especially significant. The group, which made headlines in 1996 after winning the AMA for Pop/Rock New Artist, will return to the AMA stage nearly three decades later. The band is set to perform hits from their debut album, Cracked Rear View, which helped them achieve their first AMA trophy, along with pop culture fame and music industry success. In celebration of the album's 30-year anniversary in 2024, Hootie & The Blowfish reflected on its legacy with Billboard.

"It seems to resonate in people's lives in a very big way," said guitarist Mark Bryan. "Those stories like [it 's] their wedding song or they say, 'It got me through my father's death,' always keep coming back to us, and it never gets old. What a great full-circle way as a songwriter to know that you've connected with people. As a songwriter and musician, you can't ask for more. It's such a dream come true to have made an album that has connected on such a level with people like that."

Urban is scheduled to perform a song from his 13th studio album, Flow State, set for release on June 12. Alongside fellow musicians such as Dolly Parton and Michael McDonald, the country superstar was also inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame in April. Amid his recent career success, the former American Idol judge has made headlines for his 2025 divorce from Nicole Kidman and a rumored rift with his daughters, Faith Margaret and Sunday Rose.

Keith Urban and Hootie & the Blowfish join KATSEYE, Teddy Swims, Riley Green, Maluma, Twenty One Pilots, and sombr, with more performers to be announced. Additionally, actress/rapper Queen Latifah will host the star-studded event.

The 52nd American Music Awards will air live on CBS and stream live on Paramount Plus, May 25.

There’s some good news for fans of Phil Collins.

The former Genesis singer/drummer and platinum-selling solo artist “is doing well thank you after 3 years of physical challenges.”

The news comes courtesy of Mark Goodman, the former MTV VJ and current SiriusXM air personality and podcast host.

Goodman took to Instagram on May 7 to post of photo of himself and Collins. “@rockhall inductee @officialphilcollins is doing well thank you after 3 years of physical challenges. The man comes through it all with the most positive attitude! Great talent and a beautiful human,” reads the caption.

It’s unclear if Goodman got together with Collins for an interview or just a casual visit, but we wouldn’t be surprised if an interview with Collins turns up on Sound Up!, Goodman’s twice-weekly podcast with music journalist/author Alan Light.

Fans were thrilled to see Goodman posed with a healthy-looking Collins.

“Mark this picture makes my day!!! You bring such good news. Thank you for all of your years talking music with so many legends. Phil is the GOAT!” wrote one in the comments on Instagram.

“So thankful he was inducted! I was really cheering for him!” added another.

Collins’ health has been the subject of much speculation ever since the singer-drummer retired from performing in 2016, though he did come out of retirement for the Not Dead Yet solo tour in 2017, and a final tour with Genesis in 2020. For those treks, Collins served only as a singer with his son Nic taking over on drums.

The 75-year-old spoke about the wear and tear drumming has taken on his body over the years in the 2024 documentary Phil Collins: Drummer First.  “The drumming has taken its toll on my hands, legs,” he said in the film. “I just feel like I’ve used up all my air miles.”

In April, Collins was voted for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist after previously entering the Rock Hall with Genesis back in 2010. At this year’s ceremony on Nov. 14, Collins will become only the fourth drummer in history to be inducted twice, along with Matt Cameron of Pearl Jam and Soundgarden fame, Ringo Starr, and Dave Grohl, who’s in the hall as a member of Nirvana and the Foo Fighters.

Some felt that Collins’ failing health made voting for his solo induction a must, with some music industry insiders suggesting that Collins should be inducted into the Rock Hall once again while he’s still around to appreciate it.

The Trouble With Fame

NSYNC was one of the biggest bands of the late 90s and early 00s. Their album No Strings Attached, released in 2000, went 12x platinum and set a record by selling 2.4 million copies in its first week. With all that success, you’d think the members would be set for life. 

But years of being swindled by their management team, headed by Lou Pearlman, and receiving shockingly low checks didn’t leave Fatone, his bandmates, or Pearlman’s other bands like The Backstreet Boys with nearly as much cash as the public thought.

Financial Woes

Still, being part of one of the most successful boy bands of all time enabled Fatone to purchase a $3 million home in Orlando in 2001. After the band stopped making music, the funds dried up quickly, he reveals in the documentary. 

Fatone said that the breaking point for him was having his electricity cut off on Christmas Day. Now a husband and father of two, he consulted a new accountant who told him he had to sell his house. Fatone did just that, moving his family back in with his parents while he figured out his next financial move.

The Road Back

Fatone credits his parents and his upbringing for helping him pull himself out of the brink of bankruptcy. "Thank goodness I was raised the way I was raised," he explained. "You have failed at something — don't dwell and cry on it all day long. Figure out a way to make it work. Figure out a way to get out of this. And that's what I did.”

Reaching out to his friends, he took the first job available to him in Vegas, hosting a Price is Right casino show in Bally’s. He kept working and living within his means, not allowing pride to get in the way, and soon started landing TV and film roles. His most recent work saw him as the star of the hit Broadway show &Juliet.

Fatone’s commitment to pulling himself out of a tough financial situation stems from his work ethic and ability to see past his own hubris. By embracing his failure as an opportunity to learn and grow, he can now kiss his money worries Bye, Bye, Bye.

TripAdvisor’s newly released 2026 Travelers’ Choice Awards: Best of the Best Things to Do named the “Lower Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend Day Tour with Lunch” departing from Las Vegas the No. 1 top experience in the United States —something that has absolutely nothing to do with roulette wheels, celebrity residencies, or the Las Vegas Strip.

Instead, the voter-loved experience takes travelers deep into the dramatic desert landscapes of Arizona, where towering sandstone slot canyons and sweeping views of the Colorado River have become some of the most photographed natural wonders in the Southwest.

According to Tripadvisor, the annual Travelers’ Choice Awards are based on the “quality and quantity” of traveler reviews and ratings collected over 12 months. The company says fewer than 1 percent of its more than 8 million listings earn the “Best of the Best” distinction.

Vegas Travelers Are Looking Beyond the Casinos

The ranking is another sign that travelers visiting Las Vegas are increasingly using the city as a jumping-off point for outdoor adventures and scenic day trips—not just gambling and nightlife.

The top-ranked tour—which boasts an average of 4.9 stars out of over 6,800 reviews— includes stops at both Lower Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend, two of Arizona’s most iconic natural attractions. Lower Antelope Canyon is known for its wave-like sandstone formations and shifting light beams, while Horseshoe Bend offers a dramatic overlook of the Colorado River as it curves around towering red-rock cliffs.

According to Tripadvisor, guests on the tour can expect to “explore the iconic Lower Antelope Canyon, guided by a knowledgeable Navajo guide, who will share insights into the canyon's geology, history, and culture” before heading on to Horseshoe Bend, where they will “stand 1,000 feet above the river and take in breathtaking panoramic views.” The package includes round-trip transportation from many Vegas hotels.

TripAdvisor noted that this year’s top experiences highlight tours that help travelers connect more deeply with culture and natural surroundings.

Las Vegas actually claimed two of the top spots on the list, with another Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam excursion ranking No. 2 in the country.

There was no way that Studiocanal could pass up the chance to secure the rights to The Divorce, with CEO of Studiocancal and Chief Content Officers of Canal+ Group, Anna Marsh sharing that, “From the very first page, it was utterly compelling.”

Marsh went on to share, “The Divorce is ambitious, aspirational, and irresistibly additive storytelling at its best.”

McFadden also shared that she is “delighted to be working with the teams at Studiocanal and Working Title.” She is happy with the “strong vision” that the teams have for The Divorce, and is excited to see how the movie develops.

Apple has announced its decision to settle a class action lawsuit that was brought about over a series of phone enhancements from 2024.

The lawsuit argued that the company claimed new technology was added to iPhones during that time, prompting customers to rush to stores to buy updated versions of the phones. However, when they got them home, shoppers claimed that the devices failed to deliver on what was promised. Apple Reaches Settlement in iPhone 16 Case

USA Today reports that Apple reached a settlement on May 5, when both sides in the case filed paperwork accepting a $250 million settlement. While the company denies any wrongdoing, it has agreed to pay certain customers after a class action lawsuit was filed over claims that Apple misled people over the technology that would be included on its iPhone 16 in 2024.

The class action suit was started by Peter Landsheft, who claimed that the company said the new phone would contain certain AI enhancements, including:

• A collection of AI features known as Apple Intelligence
• A "dramatically enhanced Siri"

However, Landsheft claims his phone was missing those features, prompting him to file a suit in which his lawyers claimed that Apple "deceived millions of consumers into spending hundreds of dollars on a phone they did not need, based on features that do not exist."

How Much is Apple Paying Each Customer

While eligible consumers shouldn't expect a huge payday, those who qualify are likely to receive somewhere between $25 to $95 per device.

However, that doesn't mean you should be lining up to collect your payments quite yet. While both sides have agreed to the settlement and filed their paperwork with the courts, there are still a few more judicial hoops to jump through before payments can start being sent out, including the judge's review and approval.

And while it doesn't look like anyone anticipates any holdups there, there is always a chance that something delays the process, which could postpone the arrival of the checks. That being said, it seems pretty likely that eligible Apple customers will receive some sort of compensation as part of this case, even if they aren't exactly sure when or how much it will ultimately be.

'Mad Max' Director George Miller Shared Why Anya Taylor-Joy Was Cast to Star in 'Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga'

George Miller, the co-creator and director of the Mad Max film franchise, discussed Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga in a 2024 interview on the Happy Sad Confusedpodcast. Miller shared how Taylor-Joy was cast to play Furiosa, who was originally played by Charlize Theron in Mad Max: Fury Road.

He said that Taylor-Joy was recommended to him by director Edgar Wright after she starred in his 2021 film, Last Night in Soho. According to Miller, Wright showed him a cut of Last Night in Soho in 2019, which convinced him to hire Taylor-Joy for Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.

The Body Part We're Not Paying Enough Attention To

Dr. Conley says we're not paying nearly enough attention to our feet. "We don’t treat our feet the way we treat the rest of our bodies. If someone has lower back pain, we'll encourage core strength or glute strength, for example, to help alleviate pain," she explains. "This is not the conversation we have with our feet."

If someone has heel pain, she continues, they're often instructed to get orthotics or a heel cup. "This is treating the symptom, not the root cause—the foot can be strengthened just like everywhere else in our bodies to improve function," Dr. Conley says.

Our feet have evolved to handle multiple times our body weight when walking, and when they're placed in restrictive footwear, or shoes that don’t respect the anatomy of the foot (think narrow toe box and higher heels), their function is compromised and weakness and pain ensue. "We sometimes refer to modern-day footwear as ‘shoe coffins,'" she tells Parade. "If you don’t use the strength and function of your foot, you will lose it." 

Why Our Feet Matter for Longevity

Our feet are responsible for keeping us upright and balanced when we walk, Dr. Conley explains, noting that there are thousands of sensory receptors in our feet constantly gathering inputs to help us move better. "Think of your feet as ‘sensory organs,'" she says. "As we age, we gradually lose the sensitivity to these receptors. It takes more pressure for these same receptors to get stimulated. We lose the ability to ‘feel’ if you will."

We also lose muscle mass as we age, something many of us know—but we don't think about it happening in our feet. "We need strong feet to keep us stable when we walk, to create propulsion when we step forward and to keep us from falling over," Dr. Conley says.

She adds that toe weakness is a factor in increased fall risk as we age, so strengthening your toes—again, something we don't think about much!—is important.

Here's a toe-strengthening exercise Dr. Conley recommends:

• Place a washcloth under the tips of your toes so the muscles are in an elongated position.
• Lean forward and press your toes into the washcloth.
• Hold for 5 seconds, repeat 20 times.

Many falls occur at the initiation of gait, she explains, so working on this forward lean position can be really helpful for building toe strength and preventing fall risk. "There is also research stating that wearing minimal footwear can increase the strength of your feet, but this needs to happen gradually and can be very beneficial," she adds.

What To Do To Start Taking Better Care of Your Feet Right Now

If you're thinking, Oh no! I need to take better care of my feet ASAP! Dr. Conley's first suggestion is to take your shoes off and look at them. 

"Pay attention to what they look like and feel like," she recommends. "Are your toes the widest part of your foot? Do your shoes respect the anatomy of your foot, with the widest part of the shoe being the toe box or is the shoe narrow and pointed?" 

And, she suggests, try walking barefoot for small increments, for five minutes per day.

"Let your foot feel the ground and move as it was intended," she says. "Practice toe dexterity. Try lifting just the big toe and then just the lesser toes. These inputs will begin to improve the awareness and function of your feet."

Shoppers looking for an easy treat to keep in the fridge may want to take a closer look at the label before digging in. A dessert sold at Aldi stores in several states has been pulled from shelves after a safety concern was raised. Federal officials say the issue involves a possible foreign material in the product.

The recall affects over 2,800 cases of the product distributed to stores in seven states earlier this year. Customers who recently bought a chilled dessert in a small glass jar should double-check the details to see if their purchase is included.

What Product Is Affected

Aldi

The recall involves Specially Selected Vanilla Crème Brûlée, a 3.6-ounce dessert sold exclusively at Aldi. The creamy custard comes packaged in a glass jar and includes a separate caramelized sugar topping. According to the official enforcement report, about 2,869 cases are affected.

The product has a "best before" date of May 9, 2026 and was sold in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, New York and Virginia.

Officials say the recall is due to the possibility that the product may contain foreign objects, specifically glass. Because the dessert itself is packaged in glass, there is concern that fragments could have made their way into the food.

The recall has been classified as a Class II recall as of May 7. That means using or consuming the product could cause temporary or medically reversible health problems, though the risk of serious injury is considered low. At this time, there have been no public reports of injuries linked to the issue.

What Shoppers Should Do

If you have the Specially Selected Vanilla Crème Brûlée in your refrigerator, check the date and barcode on the packaging. If it matches the recalled information, do not eat it. Even a small piece of glass could cause injury to the mouth, throat or digestive tract.

Customers are advised to dispose of the product or return it to their local Aldi store for guidance. If you believe you were injured after eating the dessert, contact a healthcare provider right away.

Food recalls like this are issued out of caution to protect shoppers. While the chance of serious harm is considered remote, officials urge customers to take the notice seriously and avoid consuming the affected dessert.

On Thursday, May 7, the TLC star took to Instagram with a candid update for her 2.7 million followers.

"Last post as a Dupree 😲," Dupree, 23, captioned her post, which featured a photo of her rocking a lime green dress with a floral pattern on the bodice, with a white cardigan. As the name might suggest, the first-of-its-kind new product features smoked and cured bacon seasoned generously with Jimmy Dean's signature hot spice blend.

Inspired by the popularity surrounding Jimmy Dean Hot Sausage, packs of the new dish are available at select retailers across the country (although our fingers are certainly crossed they make their way to most major retail suppliers in the coming weeks ahead).

As per The National Provisioner, it seems that Jimmy Dean's Premium Hot Bacon isn't the only spicy food seeing a release from Tyson Foods.

In addition, the outlet reported that Hillshire Farm is set to expand its fan-favorite lineup with three brand-new varieties of smoked sausage. This includes:

• Spicy Italian Rope: a generously sized rope of Spicy Italian sausage, perfect on its own or added to a pasta, soup or skillet recipe.
• Sweet Hickory Links: several links of smoked sausage featuring a distinct Sweet Hickory flavor profile.
• Jalapeno Cheddar Links: several links of smoked sausage that balances smooth and creamy cheddar cheese with fiery jalapeno peppers.

As per the report, Spicy Italian Rope and Sweet Hickory Links are both available at select retailers right now, while Jalapeno Cheddar Links will debut nationwide later in 2026.
