’90s Rocker Announces World Tour 26 Years After Leaving Beloved Rock Band

Mon, 06/22/2026 - 3:07pm

Dr. Chud (the stage name for David Calabrese), formerly of the beloved '90s horror punk band Misfits, has announced a world tour this year with his current band, X-Ward.

The trek, dubbed the Back to the E.R. Tour, will mainly take place throughout South America. The group will launch their nine-city run in San Foca, Italy on August 2 with an appearance at SurFest. The band will close out the tour on August 16 in São Paulo, Brazil.

Dr. Chud rose to fame back in the '90s after joining as the drummer for a reconstructed version of the Misfits. He left the legendary group in 2000 and formed X-Ward in 2003. Since then, the band has only released one full-length studio album, titled Diagnosis for Death, making this new international tour their next big milestone. The Back to the E.R. Tour will feature 90 minutes of live music, pulling from the nostalgia of the Misfits' '90s discography and X-Ward's own 2000s catalog.

'Maternal Instinct' Director Explains Why Taylor Parker Was Not Interviewed For Netflix Documentary

Mon, 06/22/2026 - 3:05pm

Jessica Dimmock, the director behind the Netflix documentary Maternal Instinct, decided not to interview Taylor Parker, and she explained that decision in a recent interview.

The documentary has thrown the case back into the spotlight, revealing the details of Parker, who was convicted in 2022 of cutting the unborn daughter of her Reagan Simmons-Hancock's womb.

“We decided not to interview Taylor,” Dimmock told Oxygen. “Obviously, Reagan and her family are the most severe and the biggest victims in this, but [there are] other people that she deceived, other people that she hurt along the way, coworkers, former friends.”

Instead, the documentary had members of the Hancock family and Parker's ex-boyfriend Wade Griffin interviewed.

“It felt like, you know, I think as a director, ‘What is she going to say?’” Dimmock said. “From everything that I’ve read, from the way that the trial went, I don’t think she’s remorseful. There doesn’t really seem to be evidence that she’s remorseful. If she said she was remorseful, could I even believe her, and does that matter?”

“I just wasn’t sure that there was anything that she could say that would be additive, or that I could believe,” she added. “And it felt disrespectful to those that she hurt the most to include her take.”

Simmons-Hancock and Parker met when she was looking for a photographer for her wedding, and Parker was recommended by a friend. The two became even closer when Simmons-Hancock said she was expecting and Parker admitted she was too, also fooling her boyfriend. However, Parker's pregnancy was a lie as she was unable to have children. During the following months, she wore a silicone baby bump, shared fake ultrasound images, faked medical appointments, and documented her journey on social media. Some began to question her story, but she always doubled down, insisting that she was pregnant.

On the morning of Oct. 9, 2020, Simmons-Hancock was found dead inside her home. Later that day, the police pulled over Parker, who had a newborn in the car, insisting that she had just given birth. The two were transported to the hospital, but the baby was pronounced dead on arrival. Medical staff were quickly able to find that Parker had not given birth, which led to her arrest.

Country Music Legend Barbara Mandrell’s Once-Vacant Fontanel Mansion Is Now Open to the Public

Mon, 06/22/2026 - 2:54pm

Country music legend Barbara Mandrell’s Fontanel Mansion has always been more than just a house. Built in 1988 at the height of her music career, the sprawling log estate north of downtown Nashville, Tennessee, was designed to be as captivating as the country star herself. After years of closures, transitions, and reinvention throughout the 2000s, the property has officially reopened, giving visitors a rare chance to experience one of country music’s most unique estates up close.

A One-of-a-Kind Mansion Built for a Legacy

Mandrell considered Fontanel her family's "soft spot," and named her home after the soft spot on a baby's head. The massive 27,000-square-foot log home, with hand-selected timber from Montana, was even considered the largest log cabin in the United States at the time.

Inside and out, the Fontanel suits the taste of a booming country music star and was meant to entertain on the grandest of scales. With rising wood-beam ceilings, open gathering spaces, multiple kitchens, a pool that doubles as a dance floor beneath a glass atrium, and an indoor shooting range, Mandrell ensured her home was a hostess's haven and unlike any other home in Nashville.

From a Home to a Public Gathering Space

After years of trying to sell the Fontanel property conventionally, Barbara Mandrell put the estate up for auction in 2002. The house cost $6 million to build and was listed at more than $7 million when it went to auction, so “somebody may get a real deal,” Carl Carter, the spokesperson for the auctioneer, J.P. King Auction Co., told The Wall Street Journal. Fontanel moved through several ownership changes and gradually shifted away from its original role as a private residence, eventually opening to the public as a concert venue, tourism destination, and event space for country music fans.

In 2019, the property closed after a Chicago-based investment group acquired it with plans to redevelop the estate into a resort-style retreat for artists and guests. However, those plans never fully materialized, and the property remained largely inactive for several years. After a few years of vacancy and even a few YouTuber channels exploring the property, Fontanel was sold again—reportedly for $6.1 million—to Clinton Holcomb in 2022 and was restored to its original charm. Now reopened, the mansion once again welcomes visitors in a new form as a working event space.

A Nashville Landmark With a Second Life

For fans of Barbara Mandrell, Fotnanel remains a tangible piece of country music history. For brides, it is a stunning place to plan your wedding. For Nashville, it stands as a reminder of how iconic real estate can take on a life far beyond its original walls. What began as a custom-built celebrity home has become an example of the many ways a piece of luxury real estate can continue to evolve over the years.

78-Year-Old Rock Icon Returns to Billboard Charts Over 4 Decades After His Biggest Hits

Mon, 06/22/2026 - 2:54pm

One former Queen rocker is still reigning on the music charts.

More than four decades after Queen's golden era, famed guitarist Brian May has found his way back to the Billboard music charts, this time without the legendary band.

May's new track "Eternia," a collaboration with composer Daniel Pemberton, debuted at No. 3 on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart during the week of June 20. The song also landed at No. 11 on the Rock Digital Song Sales chart.

"Eternia" was released in May as part of the soundtrack for the Masters of the Universe film. It is now May's second song without Queen to hit the Hard Rock Digital Song sales chart, along with his 2018 collaboration with Five Finger Death Punch, "Blue on Black," which spent five weeks at No. 1 on the same chart. (It also spent one week on top of the Rock Digital Song Sales chart.)

May himself celebrated the news via Instagram on Monday, June 22, sharing a news article from Forbes about his latest chart feat.

"Well that was a nice Dad's Day surprise !!" the father of three wrote in his caption, while thanking his fans by adding, "Thanks folks !!! A hit is always a hit !!"

May has three children from his first marriage to Christine Mullen: son James (Jimmy) and daughters LouisaMay and Emily Ruth. He and Mullen were married for more than a decade between 1976 and 1988, and in 2000, he got married to his second wife, British actress Anita Dobson.

For May, appearing on the Billboard charts is nothing new, considering his run of chart-toppers throughout the '70s and '80s as part of Queen. The iconic band had multiple songs on the Hot 100, including No. 1 hits "Another One Bites The Dust" and "Crazy Little Thing Called Love."

1971 Country Hit, Written About a Blind Musician, Became a No. 1 Song

Mon, 06/22/2026 - 2:54pm

In 1971, Merle Haggard scored another chart-topping country hit with a song that told the story of an extraordinary musical family.

"Daddy Frank (The Guitar Man)" became Haggard's 10th No. 1 single on Billboard's Hot Country Singles chart, spending two weeks at the top and 14 weeks on the chart overall. But more than five decades later, the song is remembered as much for its heartfelt story as its commercial success.

The song centers on Daddy Frank, a blind musician who plays guitar and harmonica, and his wife, who lost her hearing after a fever. Along with their daughter and the song's narrator, they travel the country performing music to make a living.

Related: Country Music Legend Getting a Star-Studded Opry Celebration This Summer

In the lyrics, Haggard describes a family that survives on talent, determination and mutual support. Frank's blindness and his wife's deafness are never portrayed as limitations. Instead, the song emphasizes how they rely on one another, with Mama driving the family from town to town and reading lips to help the group perform.

"Frank and Mama counted on each other," Haggard sings. "Their one and only weakness made 'em strong."

The family lives a humble life, sleeping in the bed of a pickup truck and camping alongside the highway while traveling between performances. Yet the narrator remembers a home filled with love, music and resilience.

The song's message has continued to resonate with listeners decades after its release. In a 2025 retrospective, Country Universe praised Haggard for creating characters whose disabilities are not the focus of the story, noting that the song celebrates their strengths rather than defining them by their challenges.

By the time "Daddy Frank (The Guitar Man)" reached No. 1, Haggard was already one of country music's biggest stars. A pioneer of the Bakersfield Sound, he would go on to score 38 No. 1 country hits over a career spanning more than five decades and is widely regarded as one of the most influential artists in country music history.

Born in California in 1937, Haggard overcame a troubled youth that included time in San Quentin Prison before launching a remarkable recording career. His songs often reflected working-class life and earned him a devoted following that lasted until his death in 2016.

More than 50 years after it topped the country charts, "Daddy Frank (The Guitar Man)" remains one of the warmest and most memorable stories in Haggard's catalog, a reminder that some of the strongest people are those who find ways to overcome life's greatest obstacles together.

Why Jodie Sweetin Tried So Hard to Be 'Worse' Than Everyone Else After 'Full House' Ended

Mon, 06/22/2026 - 2:48pm

Following her career as a child star on the family sitcomFull House,Jodie Sweetin has been candid about her personal struggles, specifically addiction, that occurred after the show came to an end in 1995.

Sweetin recently opened up about the years following Full House's cancellation during the June 16 episode of actor Michael Rosenbaum's podcast,Inside of You. Sweetin, who began starring as Stephanie Tanner when she was just five, explained that she didn't want her high school classmates to think she believed she was better than them. The mother of two said that she began to exhibit unsafe behaviors to show that she wasn't conceited or pretentious.

"I had this weird, I'll say, I had this, particularly after the show ended, like, in high school, there was this strange feeling that I had, because everyone assumed I was quote unquote a TV star. So, like, you know, the rumor before you would even start at a school was like, 'Oh she's a stuck up b---h,'" said Sweetin in the podcast interview. "I wanted to prove them wrong. So it was like, in order to make myself palatable and make other people feel like I wasn't trying to be better than them, I would try to be worse than them. So like, 'I don't think I'm better than you. I'll get more f--ked up. I'll do more drugs.'"

The actress, who reprised her role as Stephanie in the 2016 five-season Netflix reboot Fuller House, said she continued to act this way until she was in her "mid-30s." According to Sweetin, she ended up making "a mess of relationships" and got "involved with really severely toxic, scary people."

"You keep going, and then that becomes who you are, you know. I spent most of my life through my, probably, mid-30s being like, 'Do you love me? Do you love me?'" recalled Sweetin while recording the Inside of You episode.

Jodie Sweetin Discussed Her Decision to Be Sober in 2021

Sweetin discussed her decision to get sober in a 2021 episode ofSteve-O's podcast,Steve-O's Wild Ride!. Sweetin, now 44, said that she didn't believe she would have lived to see her 30th birthday.

"The fact that I made it out of the situations that I often put myself in, in one piece, is pretty remarkable. I count my blessings, for sure," said Sweetin.

She also said that she "stopped drinking and using drugs" around 2009, but "had relapsed after [she] got in a car accident," which resulted in a broken arm and an injured neck, in 2011. Sweetin said that she was prescribed the muscle relaxer carisoprodol and began using it "inappropriately." She clarified that her issues with carisoprodol only "lasted a month" before she chose to stay abstinent from drugs and alcohol again.

Golf-Loving Retirees May Want to Consider Settling In this Unexpected State

Mon, 06/22/2026 - 2:41pm

When most people think of golf-heavy retirement destinations, places like Florida or Arizona usually come to mind. But a recent WalletHub analysis of staycation-friendly cities revealed that there's a hidden golf hotspot closer to home for Northeast retirees. In a category dominated by warm-weather hubs, Warwick, Rhode Island, stood out and was ranked among the top U.S. cities for public golf courses per capita.

For retirees who love the game, that kind of ease of access changes everything. Rhode Island offers a vast collection of public and private courses, a golf-friendly climate compared to other Northeast states, and senior-friendly prices that can help lower the cost of playing.

Small State, Big Golfing Culture

With only 1,214 square miles, Rhode Island is home to 63 golf courses, including 37 public, 4 municipal, and 22 private courses. Rhode Island's connection to the game stretches back more than a century. Newport Country Club hosted the first U.S. Open Championship in 1895, cementing the state's place in golf history.

Because Rhode Island is so compact, golfers can easily explore varied courses across the state without a major time commitment. You could tee off at family-owned Fairlawn Golf Course in the morning and find yourself playing at a coastal locale like Winnapaug Golf Course later in the day. For retirees who plan to play several times a week, the number of private and public golf courses offers retirees excellent challenges for gameplay.

A Longer Golf Season Than You Might Expect

While Rhode Island's climate doesn't support year-round golf like popular retirement destinations like Florida or Arizona, the state's location on the Atlantic Ocean and Narragansett Bay means milder conditions than those in inland areas of New England. If you don't want to put your clubs away for half the year, many of Rhode Island's courses are typically open from early spring through late fall, with occasional winter opportunities.

How Rhode Island Helps Seniors Golf for Less

Rhode Island also offers several ways to keep golf affordable. Under Rhode Island General Laws § 32-2-14, eligible residents age 65 and older may qualify for reduced-fee play at state-operated golf courses, providing valuable savings for frequent golfers. And veterans and military families can find additional cost-saving opportunities at courses like Button Hole in Providence. The non-profit golf facility provides free clinics and programming for veterans, active-duty service members and their families.

Beyond official discounts, Rhode Island's golfers have championed accessibility and affordability through public courses. Many point to the 9-hole, state-run facility Goddard Memorial State Golf Course as an example of a quality public course. Depending on the day, fees for seniors range from $10 to $12 and don't require a costly membership to play.

A Hole in One for Retirement

For retirees who want to spend more time on the fairways without overspending, Rhode Island provides numerous courses for any level, a relatively long playing season and senior-friendly benefits. In the Ocean State, where almost every course is just a short drive away, retirement can mean less time in traffic and more time chasing birdies.

‘Below Deck Med’ Fans Take Sides in Nathan Gallagher and Joe Bradley's Explosive Fallout

Mon, 06/22/2026 - 2:38pm

After emotionally opening up last week on Below Deck Mediterranean about his mother’s breast cancer diagnosis, deckhand Joe Bradley seems to have captured more than just the fan vote.

When Joe and bosun Nathan Gallagher returned to Below Deck Med after what ultimately became a contentious previous season, their bromance had fizzled. The former best friends became estranged after Nathan disapproved of the way Joe handled his hookups with Victoria “V” SanJuan — kissing stew Kizzi Kitchener after V left the boat sick.

Now that Nathan and Joe are back and working together, their interactions have gone from chilly to downright contentious. And while Nathan hugged Joe when he opened up about his mother’s health battle, don’t expect the former best friends to become close again anytime soon.

After last week's episode, Below Deck fans seem to be firmly on Joe's side, with many sharing that Nathan should stop trying to intimidate him. "Sorry to hear about your mom. Sending prayers your way. Keep up the great work. Don't let Nathan intimidate you. Hope you both can get to a place of peace and respect," one person wrote on Bravo's Instagram post.

View this post on Instagram

Another person wrote, "Really, such a shame that @nathanjgallagher_ refused to hear you out. He created a story in his head and pissed himself off. I think it’s time he goes home to his family and you step up as bosun!!!"

At the same time, fans remember the chaos Joe caused last season among the crew. "Please make us proud this season man. Behave!!!!! And lighten up on the womanizing," one person wrote, with some people noting that they've seen Joe grow since last season. "Must say Bravo to Joe for his growth and dedication to the job this charter," another commenter wrote.

During last week's episode, Captain Sandy Yawn connected Joe with an oncologist on FaceTime to help him through this tough time, especially while he's away. Joe thanked Captain Sandy on Instagram, writing, "Thank you Captain, I adore you."

He also thanked the fans for their support. "I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who’s watched the episode and taken the time to reach out," he wrote on a Bravo Instagram post. "The amount of support, kind messages, and love shown towards my family has honestly been overwhelming. There have been far too many messages for me to reply to individually, but please know I’ve read them and appreciate every single one. Sharing something so personal wasn’t easy, but seeing the kindness from so many people has meant the world to me and my family."

He concluded: "Thank you all for the support."

Below Deck Mediterranean is on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.

Reba McEntire Celebrates 25 Years Since Final Bow on Broadway With Two Never-Before-Released Songs

Mon, 06/22/2026 - 2:32pm

25 years ago today, country singer/songwriter Reba McEntire took her final bow as Annie Oakley in Annie Get Your Gun on Broadway. Although it was the first and only time she appeared on Broadway, one fan on social media said she was “born for that role.”

Annie Get Your Gun opened at the Marquis Theatre in New York City on March 4, 1999. Taking over for Bernadette Peters, McEntire stepped into the role of Oakley for a limited time beginning on January 26, 2001. Although it’s been 25 years since the curtain closed on her performance, the singer surprised fans with two never-before-released songs today.

“You Can’t Get A Man With A Gun” and “I Got Lost In His Arms” were previously released on a promotional CD, but for the first time, the songs are now available on all streaming platforms.

McEntire posted the announcement on Instagram, and fans quickly took to the comment section to express their excitement for the new songs.

“Yours remains one of the best performances I’ve ever seen on Broadway,” one user commented.

“Saw you in this three times, including the 2 performances on Wednesday March 28, 2001,” one fan recalled. “What a time to be alive and witnessing the most insane Broadway debut to ever hit Broadway. It’s still spoken about decades later.”

Jonathan Tilkin, a social media influencer and singer/songwriter, also commented, saying, “As a theatre kid, THIS is the Reba I knew first🥹 so unbelievably good.”

When McEntire made her debut in the show, Variety noted that her energy and enthusiasm seemed to “shed a new glow on the whole production.”

“The particular qualities of McEntire’s lovely singing bring something fresh and exciting to Irving Berlin’s score,” Variety wrote.

Iconic '70s Rock Band Announces New Dates for 2026 Tour With Special Guests

Mon, 06/22/2026 - 2:31pm

The party isn't over just yet for two of new wave's most beloved bands.

The B-52s and Devo have announced a new round of 2026 dates for their co-headlining Cosmic De-Evolution Tour, with viral mashup artist DJ Cummerbund joining the lineup as the newly announced special guest. Presales begin June 23, while tickets for the new dates go on sale to the general public on June 26.

"It's official!" The B-52s wrote on Instagram. "The party isn't over: The Cosmic De-Evolution Tour with @clubdevo continues, with special guest @djcummerbund."

Eight dates make up this new chapter of the tour, beginning in Tinley Park, Illinois on Sept. 17 and includes stops in Michigan, Seattle and Vancouver before coming to a close on Halloween in Palm Desert, California.

The tour brings together two of the most influential bands to emerge from the late 1970s new wave movement. Although The B-52s and Devo built their careers with distinctly different sounds, both became known for embracing the unconventional, blending quirky visuals, offbeat humor and infectious songs that helped redefine rock music during the MTV era and beyond.

View this post on Instagram

Formed in Athens, Georgia, in 1976, The B-52s introduced audiences to an unmistakable mix of surf rock, dance music and campy pop with classics including "Rock Lobster," "Planet Claire," "Private Idaho," "Roam" and the chart-topping "Love Shack."

"We know who we are," The B-52s frontman, Fred Schneider, told Louder. "And we always struck a chord with all the people who are different – gay people, introverts, outsiders. They've all told us how our music opened up their whole appreciation for music and art and other ways of looking at things."

Meanwhile, Akron, Ohio's Devo built its career around its satirical theory of "de-evolution," earning a devoted following with songs such as "Whip It," "Girl U Want" and "Uncontrollable Urge."

Despite decades of parallel success, the two groups rarely shared the stage before launching the Cosmic De-Evolution Tour. The collaboration grew out of a mutual admiration that stretches back to the early days of new wave, giving fans the opportunity to experience two pioneering bands on the same bill.

The addition of DJ Cummerbund brings another layer of fun to the tour. Known for his inventive mashups that blend artists from wildly different genres and generations, the internet favorite has built a large following by creating unexpected musical combinations that fit naturally alongside the playful spirit both bands have embraced throughout their careers.

Nearly 50 years after they first helped reshape rock music, The B-52s continue to prove that there's still plenty of life left in the party. With Devo, DJ Cummerbund and another slate of dates now on the calendar, the Cosmic De-Evolution Tour is set to keep the celebration going well into 2026.

The retailer recently dropped new $7.99 Madison Home Icon Glasses featuring some of the cutest summer 2026 designs we've seen yet. Think pink bows, blue seashells, hot dogs and more.

User @targettakesmypaycheck shows off the fun new designs:

Each glass holds 16 ounces and features raised 3D details that make the designs pop. The playful embellishments add texture and charm, turning an everyday glass into a conversation piece. Whether you're sipping iced coffee before work or pouring lemonade for friends, these glasses make even the simplest drinks feel special.

Icon glasses exploded in popularity thanks to Anthropologie's viral Icon Juice Glasses, which became social media favorites for their nostalgic designs and hand-crafted look.

Now, retailers like Target are bringing that same cheerful aesthetic to shoppers at a more accessible price point.

Why Shoppers Love Icon Glasses

Part of the appeal is that these glasses feel like affordable little luxuries. They tap into the "dopamine decor" trend, which is all about surrounding yourself with colorful, happy items that spark joy.

In this new Target collection, there's an icon glass for every summer vibe. Use a chili pepper glass for spicy margaritas on taco night. Pour a fruity mocktail into the watermelon design for your next backyard gathering. Or start your morning with iced coffee in the gummy bear or pink bow glass to add a little whimsy to your routine.

With so many adorable motifs to choose from, the hardest part may be deciding which one to bring home first. Thankfully, these are only $7.99 at Target right now, so shoppers can bring home multiple at a reasonable price. I can't wait to add a few of these fun summer icon glasses to my growing collection.

This Family Drama Took 12 Years to Make — And Returns to Theaters 12 Years Later

Mon, 06/22/2026 - 2:21pm

There was some stiff competition at the 2015 Academy Awards, with Boyhood among the hot contenders.

Birdman may have won Best Picture, but the Richard Linklater-directed family drama was also showered in nominations — with co-star Patricia Arquette nabbing a trophy of her own. Plus, Boyhood rightfully cleaned up at the Golden Globes earlier that year.

And now, to match the 12-year span it took to launch the coming-of-age movie — which tracks the protagonist's upbringing while his portrayer (Ellar Coltrane) ages in real life — the 12th anniversary of Boyhood is being honored with a return to cinemas.

But before it hits theaters nationwide, the Austin Film Society will host a one-night-only event that reunites the film's cast and creators will reunite in Austin, Texas, where the film was made. Independent Film Company (IFC) announced the special screening on Monday, June 22.

Following the July 18 event, Boyhood will return to arthouse theaters across the U.S. beginning July 31.

"Boyhood follows 12 years of time going by, and it was an honor to share that journey alongside the dedicated cast and crew," Linklater, 65, said in a statement, per IFC. "24 years after shooting year one, it means a lot to us to be having this reunion in the place it began, ended, and continues. We’re excited that the film will be back in select theaters for people to potentially revisit or see for the first time with an audience."

Released by IFC in 2014, the Ethan Hawke starrer remains the highest-grossing film in the studio’s history, earning more than $25 million at the domestic box office and becoming a breakthrough success for arthouse movie theaters nationwide.

Unlike traditional movies shot over months, Boyhood was filmed from 2002 to 2013. Linklater gathered his cast for a few days each year to capture real aging on screen. The project started without a full script, as the filmmaker only had key plot points and the ending. Each year, he reviewed past footage and wrote new scenes based on how the actors had grown.

'90s Country Icon Announces Limited 5-Night-Only Run of Shows This Fall

Mon, 06/22/2026 - 2:15pm

You can find Tim McGraw back in Vegas at the end of the year for a special five-night-only run of shows.

The country icon will return for a limited residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace this fall.

"Vegas!! We’re coming back to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace this fall on October 23, 24 and November 4, 6, 7!!" the singer wrote on Instagram, also revealing that tickets will go on sale this Friday at 10 AM PT.

The energy in the comments teased what fans can expect from the crowd coming to see the "I Like It, I Love It" singer in Sin City, as the official Vegas account wrote, "Vegas likes it. Vegas loves it. Vegas wants some more of it. 🤠"

"It's been a minute since I have been to a Tim McGraw concert.I'm gonna try and make one of these shows.🔥🙌❤️," one added, as another emphasized, "now I have a reason to go to Vegas."

View this post on Instagram

The news comes on the heels of the three-time Grammy winner's limited Vegas residency just last year. In Dec. 2025, he graced the stage to end the year off on a high note, with four nights of shows spanning December 4 through the 13!

It was during that run of shows that the internet was gifted a handful of viral and memorable moments, including his youngest daughter Audrey McGraw's surprise performance that left fans saying she upstaged her superstar father.

And who can forget McGraw's eyebrow-raising choice of clothing that sent the internet into a frenzy, specifically his pants, which boasted suede material, side fringe and notably snug fit, a departure from his go-to blue jeans.

Many voiced their dislike of the clothing, writing things on social media like, “I can’t unsee this,” and “How can Faith [Hill] let him go out like that?”

McGraw, however, took it all in stride, taking to the stage the following night, boldly stating,  “I have to admit, I got some strange comments on my pants that I wore last Saturday night.”

“So, I decided to just screw it, double down,” McGraw added, standing with a hand on one hip as he posed in another pair of fringed pants. “I’ve been doing this for 35 years, I don’t give a good damn what anybody thinks.”

A return to Vegas is a sweet way to wrap up his booked and busy year, which included an induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame and the major Pawn Shop Guitar Tour, a 33+ date headline tour across stadiums, amphitheaters, and major festivals, running from March through late September.

Spanning the Northeast, Midwest, South and Canada, the tour officially wraps up on Sept. 26, giving him less than a month to rest up before his Vegas finale.

Since his career debut in 1994, McGraw has remained one of the best-selling and most commercially successful forces in country music, with 25 No. 1 hits on the country charts and 10 studio albums reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.

‘Dirty Dancing’ Icon Jennifer Grey, 66, Shares a Hilarious ‘80s Bikini Throwback Photo

Mon, 06/22/2026 - 2:10pm

Beloved actress Jennifer Grey is sharing a hilarious '80s throwback photo alongside Tracy Pollan.

Grey, 66, skyrocketed to superstardom in the role of Frances “Baby” Houseman in 1987’s Dirty Dancing. She got her first big role in 1986’s Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, as the whiny little sister of Matthew Broderick‘s cool older bro, Ferris Bueller. But it was her role as Baby, who heads on vacation in 1963 at a Catskills resort with her Jewish family, only to fall in love with the resort’s dance instructor, Johnny Castle (played by the iconic Patrick Swayze), that solidified her role as a superstar.

In the present day, Grey looks better than ever. But the star just shared a throwback photo of her and Michael J. Fox's wife, Tracy Pollan, as the duo sunbathed topless on a beach back in the day. From their string bikinis to the lack of inhibition about being topless in public, the photo is peak '80s.

"Happy birthday@tracy.pollan♥️ Friendship like this is 🌟“if you fall I will catch you, I’ll be waiting… time after time!” Grey captioned the shot.

Dirty Dancing Still Captivates Fans

Dirty Dancing became a staple for movie fans, and even scored an Academy Award for Best Original Song for its legendary love theme “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life” by Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes. While we don’t want to ruin the ending for anyone who hasn’t seen it, the song plays an important role for Baby and Johnny Castle at the end of the film.

Here's the opening scene if you'd like an intro to Baby and her family:

Rumors of a Dirty Dancing Sequel

While a sequel to Dirty Dancing was announced a handful of years ago, Lionsgate pushed back its theatrical release due to 2023’s Hollywood strikes, Variety reported last year.

When asked, Grey said she didn’t have that much information.

“I can’t tell you much about Dirty Dancing as I’m not going to make promises,” Grey told GamesRadar+ and other reporters at the A Real Pain premiere. “I’m just waiting for them to really nail it down as it has to be right.”

She went on to say that they can “push that aside” until the next time they speak, “when it hopefully it will all be ironed out.”

Is there any shoe that is more classic than the Mary Jane? OK, the loafer, sure, but the Mary Jane just has this nostalgic feel with its timeless silhouette and dainty strap. The style looked just as good on your feet in black patent leather as a little kid as it does in adulthood in a more subdued colorway. Because that's the thing about Mary Janes—they can lean cute and girlish all the way to sophisticated and polished or just contemporary and comfortable.

When you're looking for the latter, no one does Mary Janes quite like Clarks, makers of all things cloud-like and well-cushioned for those who spend a lot of time on their feet.
