Costco is making room in its freezers for a frozen treat that combines two dessert favorites in one bite.

Doughlicious, the London-based brand known for blending cookie dough and gelato into one indulgent bite, is officially making its way onto Costco shelves. While the brand has already built a following at Target and Whole Foods Market nationwide, this marks its first Costco launch, currently rolling out to select warehouses in California, Colorado, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico and Hawaii.

What sets Doughlicious apart isn’t just the format, it’s the philosophy behind it. Founded in 2017 by American entrepreneur Kathryn Bricken, the brand was built around the idea that indulgence and quality ingredients don’t have to be mutually exclusive. Each bite pairs what the company calls “award-winning” cookie dough with creamy gelato, all finished with a dusting of cookie crumbs and designed to be eaten straight from the freezer without any prep required.

The Costco debut centers on a 25-count pouch of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough & Gelato Bites, available at participating warehouse locations and through Instacart while supplies last. For a brand that’s built its identity around treating dessert as something worth doing well, landing a spot at Costco marks a major milestone.

“Bringing Doughlicious to Costco is a huge moment for us,” Bricken said. “Now we get to share that with a whole lot more people and for a genuine bargain.”

For now, availability remains limited to those six states, leaving shoppers elsewhere to find Doughlicious at retailers including Target and Whole Foods Market. Good snacking for everyone.

Millions upon millions of viewers’ dreams are coming true, because Manifest—once saved from the chopping block by a massive fan campaign after it was canceled by NBC—is officially getting a spinoff on Netflix.

The exciting news dropped at the perfect time earlier today, Aug. 28: 8:28 a.m.—which also happens to be five years down to the minute since the streamer announced it would house the final season. It’s not yet clear how, if at all, Montego Air Flight 828 may play into the new series, but it was the most heartfelt Easter Egg for the original fandom, all the same.

Coming soon to a television screen near you is Arrivals, described as “a new Manifest mystery.” It was created by the same team that conceptualized the original series, Jeff Rake, Laura Putney, and Margaret Easley, all three of whom wrote the pilot script together.

“HERE WE GO! Thank you for keeping the faith. #ArrivalsNetflix,” Rake, Putney, and Easley added in a collaborative Instagram post around the same time, sharing a photo of the physical script against a black, wood-grain surface.

According to Deadline, it’s set to feature a brand new line of characters and storylines, but series stars Josh Dallas, Melissa Roxburgh, J.R. Ramirez, Matt Long and Garrett Wareing, have all commented their excitement and support so far, suggesting that cameos are not out of the question.

“…we’ve set out to create something bold, surprising, deeply human, and full of the kind of big ideas that spark conversations long after the credits roll,” Rake told the publication. “We can’t wait for a whole new audience – and longtime Manifest fans – to discover Arrivals.”

Major details about the show’s plot and cast are still under wraps, but we know it takes place in the same universe as Manifest, and features a mysterious plane crash-landing in Denver, with not a single person on board having any idea who they are or where they were heading from or to. As you might expect, their appearance is found to be connected to a potentially world-ending catastrophe, but it sure wouldn’t be a Manifest mystery without one!

Wile E. Coyote is finally getting his long-awaited revenge.

Coyote vs. Acme is hitting the big screen on August 28, after three years in the vault.

The film follows Wile E. Coyote after he decides to sue Acme for all the defective products he received in his many attempts to catch Road Runner. The story behind the film is almost as thrilling as the plot.

In 2023, Warner Bros. decided not to release the movie and to use it as a $30 million tax write-off. The filmmakers were incredibly disappointed.

The movie’s director, Dave Green, recently spoke to Collider about Coyote vs. Acme getting a second chance.

“It has been a wild journey, I gotta say,” he said. “It’s happening right now, and I still don’t believe it. It’s incredible. It honestly just speaks to the resilience and the passion of the fan base, and the fact that people really spoke out on our behalf and stood up for the movie and stood up for these legacy characters that have existed for 80 years. It is incredibly moving on a personal level. It overwhelms and blows me away.”

Coyote vs. Acme wasn’t the first project to be scrapped as a tax write-off. Warner Bros. decided to cancel Batgirl after poor test screenings. However, according to Slate, the Looney Tunes reimagining did very well with early audiences.

The film had no plans to return until Ketchup Entertainment purchased the rights in 2025 for a reported $50 million.

“It is a true underdog story. It’s about this character who wakes up every single day expecting to eat Roadrunner stew,” Green said. “That is his dream, and that is his passion, and yet at the same time, every single day, this gigantic corporation is working hard to squash his dreams. So, it’s really about the fight and the plight of the underdog, and this story is about how an underdog really never does lose his passion.”

Coyote vs. Acme stars Will Forte, John Cena, Lana Condor, and Luis Guzmán. It is now in theaters.

Kate Middleton and Prince William stepped away from their private summer holiday just long enough to address a tragedy unfolding thousands of miles from home.

The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 44, issued a statement on social media addressing the devastating Aug. 26 flash flood along the Nepal-China border, which has left more than 300 dead and roughly 1,000 still missing. “The scale of the devastation along the Nepal-China border is shocking. We are thinking of everyone caught up in this terrible disaster,” the couple wrote, adding their gratitude for rescue workers “working in such dangerous conditions.”

Their message followed a similar statement from King Charles, who called the disaster heartbreaking and noted the deep personal ties many in the U.K. share with the region. “We send our most profound sympathy to all those who have so tragically lost their loved ones,” Charles wrote, also thanking police and Armed Forces personnel involved in rescue efforts.

One of Robert Patrick‘s infamous movie roles was as the T-100 in Terminator 2: Judgment Day, but the actor reveals he wasn’t the front-runner for the role and it was offered to rock icon Billy Idol.

When it comes to movie villains, the T-100 cemented itself in pop culture as an almost indestructible counter to Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s Terminator. In an interview with People, Patrick reveals the role was originally meant for the “Rebel Yell” singer.

“It was just a thrill of a lifetime,” Patrick said. “I couldn’t believe it. I still can’t believe it, to be honest with you, even though I did it. I don’t know how everything lined up.” 

What happened? Idol’s infamous headline about getting into a motorcycle accident is what led the rocker to back out of the sci-fi movie. The accident was a major turning point in his life and career that occurred in February 1990. Idol was riding his Harley-Davidson on his way home from working on his album Charmed Life. Police reported that Idol ran a stop sign and collided with an oncoming car.

Idol landed on the pavement and remembered seeing a bone protruding from his leg. He underwent seven hours of surgery immediately after the crash to fix the major fracture. A few months later, doctors operated again to insert a steel rod and were unsure the leg could be saved. In the end, it was, and it not only changed his tour schedule but loosing the Terminator 2 role.

“Once the Billy Idol thing wasn’t gonna work out, [Cameron] decided to look for an unknown,” Patrick explains. “And that would benefit the role and the actor playing the role, because no one had a preconceived notion of this unknown actor, so they would accept me as the T-1000.”

Patrick recalls knowing the project was “something spectacular” when receiving the audition, but was unsure what they were looking for. He followed his instincts and ad-libbed the process, and “I was in sync with what they were looking for. I don’t know how I found it during the auditions, but I went with it.”

After days of auditioning, Patrick was finally able to read Cameron’s script and was blown away that it was the Terminator sequel. The actor is still in awe of how everything had lined up at the time with the audtion and Idol’s upsetting accident.

“So all those things were working in my favor. You know, God just took care of the rest, man. He provided me the opportunity and gave me the confidence during the audition process to win the role,” Patrick said. “And, you know, here we are 35 years later, and I’m still… how did I do that, you know? How did that happen?”

Terminator 2 became a commercial success, grossing $519–$520.9 million at the box office to become the highest-grossing film of 1991. Its cult classic status even led it to be preserved by the Library of Congress.

A nonprofit worker’s Costco catering order is going viral for proving just how far a deli tray can stretch.

The shopper, who posted the breakdown on Reddit, needed to feed 50 people at a work training event and turned to Costco’s deli section instead of a traditional caterer. The order included one deli meat and cheese platter, one chicken salad croissant tray, two deli sandwich platters split between turkey and beef, a 60-count box of cookies, chips, water bottles, and sparkling water. The total came out to $275.

Before placing the order, the shopper had asked ChatGPT to estimate a reasonable catering budget for the group and was told to expect somewhere between $750 and $1,250. The Costco order came in at a fraction of that, and commenters were quick to point out that the AI estimate was wildly off base for anyone shopping at a warehouse store instead of a traditional caterer.

The chicken salad croissants were the standout of the order. “They were stuffed with meat! Way bigger than the stock photo,” the shopper wrote, adding that the sandwiches were cut in half and still disappeared quickly. Other commenters chimed in with their own praise for Costco’s catering options, with several calling it a smart, reliable choice for group events on a budget.

According to shoppers in the comments, most Costco delis offer four standing platter options: an artisan bread sandwich platter, chicken salad croissants, a fruit, meat and cheese platter, and a shrimp platter. Online orders typically require 48 hours notice and can’t be changed once placed, while in-person orders need just 24 hours and allow for some flexibility depending on the location.

The post has racked up thousands of upvotes, with many commenters sharing their own experiences using Costco’s deli trays for everything from office meetings to funeral receptions and baby showers, reinforcing just how far the warehouse chain’s catering options can stretch a budget.

Van Halen’s 1978 rock classic “Runnin’ With the Devil” has earned another major place in classic rock history after landing on the list of the 100 Greatest Classic Rock Songs.

The song was one of the standout tracks from Van Halen’s self-titled debut album and helped introduce the band’s sound to a much wider audience. Released in 1978, “Runnin’ With the Devil” became the group’s first original single and remains one of the best-known songs in the Van Halen catalog.

Amazon Music placed the song at No. 24 on its list, putting the track among a collection of some of the biggest and most lasting songs in classic rock.

The ranking adds to the long history of recognition for “Runnin’ With the Devil.” In March 2023, Rolling Stone also ranked the track at No. 68 on its list of the “100 Greatest Heavy Metal Songs of All Time.”

“Runnin’ With the Devil” came from Van Halen’s first album, which introduced listeners to the lineup of David Lee Roth, Eddie Van Halen, Michael Anthony and Alex Van Halen. It reached No. 84 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States.

Its international chart run was stronger in some places. The song reached No. 11 in Belgium, No. 2 on the Dutch Mega Charts and No. 8 on the Dutch Top 40. It later reached No. 14 on Billboard’s Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart in 2020.

Still, the song’s importance was never limited to chart numbers.

“Runnin’ With the Devil” showed that Van Halen’s own material could stand alongside the better-known rock acts of the time. The band had already built a strong name for itself in the Los Angeles music scene before recording its first album in the summer of 1977.

Engineer Donn Landee recalled how little studio experience the group had when the sessions began.

“They’d barely had any studio experience,” Landee confirmed in 2013. “It was obvious that in time that they would become proficient at making records but at that point, we really wanted to get them before they really knew what they were doing – just have them come in and play and then get them out.”

That direct approach helped capture the energy Van Halen had developed through years of live performances.

“We treated the entire first album almost like it was a demo,” Landee added. “They cut 28 songs in about two hours. That’s when we knew we had a band that could play.”

One of the most recognizable parts of “Runnin’ With the Devil” comes before the band even starts playing.

The song opens with the sound of car horns. According to Ultimate Classic Rock, Van Halen used horns taken from the band members’ own cars. The horns were mounted together, powered by car batteries and operated with a foot switch. Producer Ted Templeman then slowed the sound down before adding it to the finished recording.

The idea had already been used during the band’s club performances and also appeared on earlier recordings connected to the group.

Meanwhile, Gene Simmons had suggested the car horn idea during an earlier demo session. Van Halen had worked with Simmons on a demo before securing its record deal, giving the young band more recording experience.

The lyrics of “Runnin’ With the Devil” were inspired by the Ohio Players’ 1974 song “Runnin’ from the Devil.” Over the years, the meaning of the Van Halen song has been interpreted in different ways.

Some listeners misunderstood the lyrics as being satanic, but the band members never revealed the song’s full meaning. It has also been viewed as a song about freedom, life on the road and living without the usual social ties.

The finished track featured many of the elements that became closely linked with Van Halen: David Lee Roth’s lead vocals, Eddie Van Halen’s guitar work, Michael Anthony’s backing vocals and Alex Van Halen’s drumming.

The song also continues to find new life decades after its original release. Recently, Michael Anthony joined Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening to perform “Runnin’ With the Devil” at the Pacific Amphitheater in Costa Mesa, California.

The appearance marked a rare exception for the Led Zeppelin-focused group, with Jason Bonham telling the audience, per Rolling Stone, “We have never done anything like this in the 16 years of doing this show.”

Anthony took part in the performance by singing the song’s famous hook, just as he did on the original recording and during many later Van Halen shows.

Ringo Starr quit on Aug. 22, mid-session, during rehearsals for “Back in the U.S.S.R.” He went to find John Lennon and told him he was leaving because he was not playing well and felt “unloved and out of it.” Lennon’s answer, as Starr remembered it: he thought it was the other three.

Starr knocked on Paul McCartney’s door next and got the same response. He skipped George Harrison, took his kids and flew to Sardinia. None of it reached the press. Everyone who knew was told to keep quiet.

The basic track for “Dear Prudence” is McCartney on drums, Lennon on fingerpicked guitar and Harrison on lead. Over three days McCartney also handled bass, piano, flugelhorn and handclaps.

Trident had eight-track recording. The band’s usual room at EMI did not. The session log lists exactly one take, which sounds heroic and is really bookkeeping. They stacked it up one instrument at a time, wiping whatever they did not want. Gentler than the 42 hours the same album burned on “Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da.”

Lennon wrote it in India, at the meditation retreat in Rishikesh, about Prudence Farrow, Mia Farrow’s younger sister. She would not come out of her room, so Lennon and Harrison were sent in to coax her out. She trusted them.

Farrow told Parade in 2019 she stayed in there five days straight without eating or sleeping. “I was pretty extreme,” she said. She did not hear the song until the album came out.

Starr rejoined on Sept. 3. A telegram did it, calling him the best rock and roll drummer in the world and asking him home. He walked in to find someone had buried his kit in flowers.

He is 85, and he was onstage with his All Starr Band this summer.

In the days since Dolly Parton’s unexpected death at age 80, countless celebrities have shared how much the entertainment icon inspired them, from country stars like Lainey Wilson to acting legends including Sally Field.

On Friday, August 28, longtime Hallmark Channel star Nikki DeLoach added her voice to the chorus of tributes, revealing Parton’s impact on her life and the inspiring way she’s handling the grief of losing her.

In a powerful Instagram post featuring quotes from and about Parton, Georgia-born DeLoach wrote, “As a little girl growing up in the South, with big dreams and even bigger opinions, she was a North Star. A woman who knew exactly who she was and lived it out loud, without apology, compromise or without ever dimming her light.”

Calling Parton “a living embodiment of the divine,” DeLoach celebrated Parton’s generosity and compassion, pointing out how she “spoke up against hatred, bigotry, oppression and cruelty … not with rage but with love so fierce it left no room for anything else.”

Following in Parton’s footsteps, the “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” alum is known among Hallmark fans for her extensive philanthropy work, from co-hosting the annual Dance Party to End ALZ with her friend and colleague Ashley Williams to spearheading huge fundraising efforts for Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.

Whenever she’s feeling stuck or upset, DeLoach shared in her Instagram post about Parton, she leans on a mantra that reconnects her to Parton’s giving, trusting spirit. She explained, “For as long as I can remember I have asked myself: What Would Dolly Do? WWDD. It has been a mantra. A compass. A standard I have tried (and often failed) to live up to. But tried nonetheless.”

DeLoach then encouraged her followers to do the same in honor of Parton’s legacy, writing, “For all of us who are devastated over her loss, maybe a way to keep her alive inside of us is to do this. In the moments when we don’t know what to do, when the world feels hard and unkind and the path forward isn’t clear, we just continue asking what Dolly would do.”

Shania Twain has been called the “Queen of Country Pop,” but one former BBC producer who worked with some of the biggest names in music has another description for the superstar.

Former Top of the Pops producer and stage manager Gareth Davies called Twain “one of the biggest divas” he encountered during his television career, recalling an unusual backstage routine he claims unfolded when the singer appeared on the long-running BBC music show.

“With Shania Twain, as soon as she was asked to come on stage at Top of the Pops, there was this very long line of entourage running one after the other, almost like a conga,” Davies told Page Six in an interview published Aug. 28.

The reason for the rush, he claimed, was simple: “She doesn’t open doors.”

According to Davies, members of Twain’s team would race ahead of the country superstar through the BBC corridors, making sure they reached each door before she did.

“They were basically all running to the next door, the next door, the next door through the BBC corridors to make sure that when Shania started walking, she didn’t have to slow down at any point,” he recalled.

Davies described the routine as “quite fascinating to see,” claiming it appeared so carefully coordinated that a member of the entourage might have been in trouble if they failed to reach a door before Twain.

“It was sort of like this regimented, rehearsed line,” he said, ultimately describing the spectacle as “a little bit overkill.”

Twain’s representative had no comment when contacted by Page Six, but she wasn’t the only superstar Davies remembered having unusual backstage arrangements.

He dubbed Jennifer Lopez the “sassiest” celebrity he’d encountered, recalling that the singer allegedly had her Top of the Pops dressing rooms covered in white and requested a white microphone for her performance.

Madonna, meanwhile, reportedly arrived with the biggest entourage Davies could remember. But even a massive team couldn’t prevent one memorable mishap: He recalled the singer’s stylist once leaving all of Madonna’s outfits back at her hotel.

“She kind of had that one job just to bring the outfits, but didn’t bring them, which I thought was very funny,” Davies said.

Not every superstar lived up to the diva stereotype, however. Davies recalled waiting for Janet Jackson to arrive for a performance, only to discover that she had quietly been sitting on the studio floor waiting for everyone else.

He also singled out Britney Spears, the Spice Girls and Kylie Minogue as stars he found surprisingly down-to-earth, saying many of his celebrity encounters involved famous people being “really normal, nice and sweet.”

But it was Twain’s alleged procession through the BBC corridors that earned her Davies’ “biggest divas” distinction.

Seven years after the final episode of the beloved CBS sitcom, The Big Bang Theory, aired, actress Mayim Bialik is reminiscing about her character, Dr. Amy Farrah Fowler.

During an August 2026 episode of The Official Big Bang Theory Podcast, Bialik was asked what she believes Amy and her husband, Dr. Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons), would be up to if the sitcom was still on air. Bialik, who began appearing as Amy during its third season, initially said she believed the question was “better suited for [the] writers” of The Big Bang Theory. She also noted that fans got a glimpse of Amy and Sheldon’s life as an established married couple during the 2024 finale of the Big Bang Theory prequel, Young Sheldon, wherein it was revealed they have two children, one who plays hockey and the other who is interested in acting, thanks to Penny’s (Kaley Cuoco) influence.

Bialik also said she believed Amy and Sheldon, who wed during the 11th season of The Big Bang Theory, are “a forever couple.”

“I think there’s a lot of interest to like what if they got divorced, but I think they’re a forever couple, you know. And I think they probably have, you know, appropriately nerdy, meticulous, fastidious children. I also think as, you know, these characters age, they’re going to become quirkier. So, I picture that, too,” said the actress during the podcast interview.

Parsons, who was a producer and provided the narration of Young Sheldon, discussed filming the show’s finale alongside Bialik during an April 2024 episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. He referenced that Parsons and Bialik returned to play their respective Big Bang Theory characters in a scene wherein Amy is reading some of Sheldon’s memoir about his childhood in Texas, which depicts the events shown throughout the seven-season run of Young Sheldon.

Parsons said filming the scene “was very sweet” and unexpectedly “emotional.” He also shared that revisiting Sheldon, whom he played throughout The Big Bang Theory‘s 12 seasons, wasn’t initially easy.

“It was really sweet to get to revisit those characters in a situation that was sort of similar, but very different. And the only thing that was weird was the first time, [Bialik] and I got on set, we did our first rehearsal and I was like, ‘Huh.’ And we were walking back to the dressing room and she goes, ‘I really thought I’d feel more confident.’ That nails it. I don’t know what it is. It wasn’t like riding a bike,” said Parsons in the 2024 interview.

The actor clarified he was eventually able to get back into his iconic character.

Knots Landing was one of primetime TV’s popular soap operas of the 1980s into the 90s, and decades after its finale, three original stars got together for dinner.

Donna Mills, Michele Lee, and Lynne Moody starred in the soap opera as the beloved characters Abby Fairgate, Karen Fairgate, and Patricia Williams. Moody’s daughter and blogger Lisa Naomi posted a photo of the cast reunion on Instagram as the group dined at a local restaurant.

“Alright y’all who’s ready for a lil Knots Landing reunion!?! What a great time hanging out with Abby, Karen and Patricia. Or @thedonnamills #michellelee and my mommy #lynnemoody. Maybe they’ll let me crash!” said Lisa Naomi.

Knots Landing was a spinoff of the popular soap opera Dallas that aired in 1978 and ran until 1991. It focused on a group of four married couples living in a coastal town in Los Angeles and followed their lives living in a cul-de-sac called Seaview Circle. The soap opera ran for 14 seasons and a total of 344 episodes. Due to budget cuts in its final seasons, main characters were killed off or appeared less on screen, which led series creator David Jacobs to agree to its cancellation.

Fans raved in the comments about the reunion between the Knots Landing stars. Many commented on how good the stars looked after 33 years.

It started as an audio podcast before airing filmed episodes in 2025.

Deborah Foreman‘s career had two defining turning points, decades apart, and she’s opening up about both in a new interview.

The first came just weeks before her big break. In 1983, Foreman landed a guest spot on “Family Ties,” playing a quiz show contestant opposite Michael J. Fox, three weeks before her starring role in “Valley Girl” hit theaters. Unlike her modeling and theater work, the “Family Ties” episode was filmed in front of a live studio audience, an experience she wasn’t prepared for. “I wasn’t that comfortable with that, because I’m just used to being on a set,” she told PEOPLE, calling the whole thing “daunting” despite ultimately enjoying it. Weeks later, “Valley Girl,” co-starring Nicolas Cage, made her one of the breakout faces of the decade.

The second turning point came nearly a decade later, and it was far less celebratory. By 1991, Foreman had decided to walk away from acting entirely. She described feeling boxed in creatively, telling PEOPLE she was “feeling that glass ceiling” and no longer happy with the kinds of roles being offered to her. Rather than keep pushing against an industry that no longer felt right, she told her own agency she was done and stepped away for good.

That decision led her somewhere unexpected. Foreman completed yoga teacher training through Yoga Works, then went on to train under instructor John Gary to become a certified Pilates instructor, a discipline she taught for five years afterward.

Looking back on both chapters, Foreman said she holds no regrets, even though others have pointed out she left acting right as her career could have taken off even further. For her, both the nerve-wracking early TV appearance and the eventual exit from Hollywood came down to the same instinct: following whatever felt like a clear yes, or a clear no, at the time.
