If your backyard feels like a sun-baked afterthought most summers, you're not imagining it. Patios, decks, and lawns often go underused simply because there's no comfortable place to sit without squinting or sweating. The answer isn't another umbrella or a pop-up tent that flaps in the wind—it's a real structure that turns your outdoor space into a true extension of your home.
A well-built gazebo gives you instant definition, shade, and a reason to actually use your yard. It's the difference between we have a backyard and we have an outdoor living room. And when that structure combines natural wood with a durable steel roof, you get something that looks elevated but can handle real weather without turning into a seasonal hassle.
Sunjoy 13 x 15 ft. Cedar Framed Gazebo with Steel 2-Tier Hip Roof Hard Top, $928.99 at Tractor Supply Shop It!Tractor Supply's Sunjoy Cedar Framed Gazebo with Steel Hardtop Roof delivers exactly that. Measuring roughly 13 by 15 feet, this hardtop gazebo creates about 140 square feet of covered space—enough for a full dining set, a lounge area, or even a shaded grilling station. The frame is crafted from premium gray-stained cedar, giving it a warm, natural look that blends with wood decks, stone patios, or grassy lawns. The roof is a powder-coated, double-tier steel design that sheds rain, blocks UV rays, and allows airflow to reduce wind lift.

Built-in features make it easy to customize for comfort and privacy. A dual rail system lets you add mosquito netting or curtains sold separately, while a ceiling hook provides a ready spot for hanging lights or a small chandelier. The two-tier roof also improves ventilation, so hot air doesn't get trapped overhead. At over 400 pounds, the structure is substantial and stable, though additional anchoring is recommended in high wind areas.
It's a premium-feeling upgrade at a mid-range price point, especially when on sale, making it a compelling pick for homeowners ready to invest in their outdoor space. If you've been waiting for a reason to finally use your yard, this is it.
‘Love Is Blind’ Couple Welcomes 2nd Baby and Shares His Meaningful Name
Reality TV stars Bliss Poureetezadi-Goytowksi and Zack Goytowksi just welcomed their second child. The Love Is Blindceleb parents shared the news of their son’s birth and revealed the little guy’s meaningful name.
The fan-favorite couple met on Season 4 of the Netflix show. But things didn’t start well for these would-be lovebirds. After meeting in the pods, Zack quickly became Bliss’s number one. But her future husband was torn and eventually chose Irina Solomonova. During the couple’s Mexican vaycay, things went downhill quickly, and the engagement came to an abrupt end. While fans were stunned at Zack’s initial decision, they were not shocked by this turn of events.
Zack returned to Seattle solo and eventually apologized to Bliss. Fortunately for him, she forgave his serious missteps and the pair wed in 2022.
The now-happy couple welcomed their first child, daughter Galileo Terri Rayne Goytowski, in April of 2024.
On Valentine’s Day (2026), the Goytowskis shared news that their family was growing, posting a series of sweet family snapshots on Instagram with the caption, “Our hearts are overflowing because this time we know the joy and awe of parenthood. The out of this world, all-consuming love that’s coming. We are so excited to meet you, our precious, heavenly blessing!”
The Love Is Blind duo doesn't have to wait any longer. Baby number two just made his grand debut, and the couple recently told PEOPLE, “We are overjoyed to share that our sweet baby boy has arrived.” They continued, “Our world has yet again, shifted, changed, expanded and become even more magical. Our hearts have doubled in size.”
View this post on Instagram What did Zack and Bliss name their baby?Bliss and Zack seem to have an affinity for interesting baby names. Their daughter Galileo was named after the iconic astronomer. Her middle names are in memory of Zack's mother (Terri) and Rayne (meaning blessings or queen).
Like his big sis, the pair’s new addition also has a somewhat different moniker…Polaris J ³ ohn Pax. And no, that tiny little three is not a mistake. That is exactly the way Bliss and Zack want it.
Polaris refers to the North Star, which seems about right, following Galileo’s celestial name. And what about J ³ ohn (J-cubed-ohn)? As the new parents explain, “His middle name is a three-dimensional name represented in two-dimensional space in honor of Zack's Grandpa, John Bliss’s twin brother and Zack’s Grandma Jean.”
Bliss gushed over her new baby boy on Instagram, posting, “Polaris! My little North Star! My baby son! My Polar Bear, my little Lars man. I love you so much and can’t wait to make a mam’s boy out of you!”
Fellow Love Is Blind castmates and contestants from other seasons flocked to the post to congratulate the couple. Chelsea Griffin commented, “Congratulations dear friends! Welcome Polaris. Auntie loves you!”, Taylor Hastings wrote, “So happy for you and your growing family”, newly-married Giannina Gibelli said, “Congratulations he’s here!”, and Amy Cortes-McIntyre added, “Congratulations you guys!”
Walmart’s Trendy New Beaded Bag Looks So Similar to Anthropologie’s Viral Purses That Are 3X the Price
Parade aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.
We’ll never be the ones to tell you not to splurge on something you really love, but there’s a special satisfaction that comes with finding the look for less. Whether it’s a pair of fine jewelry-inspired earrings that appear just as luxe, a home decor find that could pass for something from a high-end boutique, or a designer shoe for a fraction of the price, a good look-alike is hard to beat.
That’s what makes the newly-released $30 Free Assembly Beaded Flap Shoulder Bag at Walmart such a fabulous find. It has the same statement-making, handcrafted feel as the viral beaded bags that have been popping up at Anthropologie for around $98, but for less than one-third of the price. If you’ve been eyeing that particular look but couldn’t quite justify spending nearly $100 on a handbag, this is an affordable alternative that makes the trend a whole lot easier to try.
Free Assembly Beaded Flap Shoulder Bag, $30 at Walmart Shop at WalmartThis beaded shoulder bag gives classic prep a fresh, fashion-forward spin. Its structured rectangular silhouette is covered in intricate beadwork that recreates a traditional argyle pattern in deep navy, burgundy, and powder blue, while tiny white daisy-like flowers are scattered throughout for an unexpected, whimsical touch. A softly curved flap creates a clean finish, and the coordinating beaded shoulder strap makes the entire bag feel thoughtfully designed from every angle. The dimensional texture catches the light beautifully, giving the pattern even more depth and movement.
While the navy argyle is an easy match for denim, crisp button-downs, and chunky knits, the additional prints available offer something for every wardrobe. A tonal pink stripe version delivers a softer, feminine look, while a blue, pink, beige, and yellow plaid option is bright and collegiate. The standout, though, is the purple striped version featuring a charming dachshund wearing a navy striped scarf — a playful conversation starter that’s perfect for animal lovers or doxie parents. Altogether, the collection bridges the gap between seasons perfectly, pairing just as easily with linen dresses and ballet flats in late summer as it does with jeans, loafers, and lightweight jackets come fall.
Measuring approximately 9 inches wide, 7.9 inches high, and 3.2 inches deep, the bag is sized to fit everyday essentials like your phone, keys, wallet, sunglasses, lip balm, and hand sanitizer. The flap secures with hidden magnetic snaps for easy access, while the fully lined interior includes a slip pocket to keep smaller items organized. A 9.8-inch shoulder strap sits comfortably under the arm for day-to-night wear, and the durable synthetic construction can be spot cleaned as needed.
A $98-looking bag for $30? That’s the kind of math we like. Grab the Free Assembly Beaded Flap Shoulder Bag at Walmart while it's still an under-the-radar find!

Francis Ford Coppola Reflects on His Often Criticized 'Imaginative' Drama on Its 30th Anniversary
Jack might not be Francis Ford Coppola's best-loved film, but the director is paying it some love on its 30th anniversary.
The Godfatherdirector marked the anniversary on Instagram in a post with production company American Zoetrope, looking back at the movie's premiere at a charity benefit. The social media clip shows the film's star, Robin Williams, acting out a scene with his young co-star, Adam Zolotin.
"I loved making Jack and thought it was imaginative and unusual, despite the fact that the theme had been dealt with perfectly in Big by Penny Marshall. And the ending of Jack is very touching," the social media post read.
The caption concludes: “Robin Williams plays Jack, a 10-year-old boy in a 40-year-old’s body. In this rehearsal clip with Adam Zolotin, the two adlib their way playfully through song, with the young Louis coercing his nervous friend to pretend to be the principal so that he won’t get in trouble with his mother.”
View this post on InstagramJack follows the titular boy who ages four times quicker than normal due to a unique medical condition. By the time he is 10-years-old, he looks 40 and is played by the late, great Robin Williams. The movie heartfelly depicts his loneliness and struggles as an outsider with a fictional illess. Diane Lane and Brian Kerwin play Jack's protective parents while Jennifer Lopez appears as his teacher, whom he forms a crush on.
Jack is one of Coppola's poorly received films and has generally been forgotten by the general public. “Jack doesn’t want to be a great movie. It only wants to pluck the usual heartstrings and provide the anticipated payoff," Roger Ebert wrote at the time.
In a 2009 interview with Esquire, Coppola responded to this criticism, “People feelthe worst film I made was Jack. But to this day, when I get checks from old movies I’ve made, Jack is one of the biggest ones. No one knows that.”
“If people hate the movie, they hate the movie,” he admitted, per Far Out Magazine “I just wanted to work with Robin Williams.” The late actor is often cited as highlight of this film, will only has a 17% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Last week would have marked William's 75th bithday.
"The movie manages to transcend the material -- mostly because of Williams and his perpetually Morkian innocence -- and become a satisfying, occasionally maudlin tale of belonging, understanding the passage of time and living for the moment," Ted Anthony wrote for Associated Press in 2018.
While critcs may not love Jack, Challengers director Luca Guadagnino told the British Film Institute in 2024 that he thinks the film is one of Coppola's best. “In Jack, you feel the way in which he’s taking this kind of conventional story but bringing humanity, and the way in which the world is created. It’s so beautiful,” the Italian director explained.
1993 Alt-Rock Breakup Hit Became One of the Band’s Most Recognizable Songs
Written by lead singer Dolores O'Riordan after her first serious kiss, "Linger" by Irish band The Cranberriestells the story of what happened after. O'Riordan conceptualized the lyrics when she was going through her first big breakup, and the lyrics were written while she was in the process of auditioning for the band.
An early version of the song landed on a 1990 demo for the band, but it was when they started working with producer Stephen Street that it really began to take shape. The revised recording ended up as a track on their debut album, Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We?
"Linger" was the second single released from the album behind "Dreams," but would end up being the biggest hit for the band from that first record. The song peaked at number three in their home country of Ireland, number eight in the United States, and number 14 in the United Kingdom.
Music critics praised "Linger" for its emotional range and its musicality. Selectwrote that "'Linger' has a lovely orchestra busying itself in the far distance and keeping the tune at arm's length, while Dolores gets powerfully lovelorn. Could do with more pedal steel, though." Additionally, All Music wrote, "While this isn't lyrically novel, the full-on emotionality of lead singer Dolores O'Riordan makes this stand out. Singing in a strong Irish brogue, she comes off both needy and detached here. It's that emotion that powers this track."
The Cranberries have become synonymous with alt-rock in the '90s. For "Linger" specifically, VH1 listed it among the "100 Best Songs of the '90s."
In 2017, a more stripped-down, acoustic version of "Linger" was released as the lead single from The Cranberries' seventh studio album, Something Else.
Over the years, "Linger" has proven that its message and sound are relatable and universal enough that it will continue to linger in our heads, ears, and hearts.

1970 Rock Classic Reimagined 56 Years Later
British rock band Trapeze’s self-titled 1970 debut album is returning to vinyl for the first time since its original pressing, with Deko Entertainment set to release a newly remastered edition in October 2026.
The album will be pressed on 180-gram blue vinyl and limited to only 500 copies worldwide. The release gives fans a chance to revisit the early sound of a band whose members would later become important names in rock music.
Originally released in May 1970, Trapeze was produced by John Lodge, bassist of The Moody Blues. The album captured the band’s early psychedelic and progressive rock style before Trapeze moved toward the heavier sound that would define its later work.

According to Blabbermouth, the new edition will also include a redesigned inner sleeve. Because the album has not been available on vinyl since its original 1970 pressing, the limited release is expected to appeal strongly to collectors and longtime fans of classic British rock.
Pre-orders are available ahead of the October 2026 release.
Trapeze was formed in Cannock, England, in 1969. Its original lineup brought together musicians from two established local groups.
John Jones and Terry Rowley came from The Montanas, while Glenn Hughes, Mel Galley and Dave Holland had been members of Finders Keepers.
The five musicians created a lineup that combined trumpet, keyboards, guitar, bass, vocals and drums. Hughes handled bass, vocals and piano, Galley played guitar and provided vocals, Holland played drums, Rowley played keyboards, and Jones played trumpet and shared vocals.
Although Jones was the group’s official lead singer at the time, Hughes performed all the vocals on the debut album after the band’s management decided he was the stronger choice for the record.
One of the songs that helped introduce the group was “Send Me No More Letters,” written by Rowley. The song was also performed during one of Trapeze’s early appearances on BBC2’s Colour Me Pop.
The band initially had a connection with The Beatles’ Apple Corps, but ultimately signed with Threshold Records, the label founded by The Moody Blues.
Lodge then produced the group’s first two albums, including the self-titled debut.
The 12-track album includes “It’s Only A Dream,” “The Giant’s Dead Hoorah!,” “Over,” “Nancy Gray,” “Fairytale / Verily Verily / Fairytale,” “It’s My Life,” “Am I,” “Suicide,” “Wings,” “Another Day,” “Send Me No More Letters” and “It’s Only A Dream (Reprise).”
The original five-piece lineup did not last long. After the release of Trapeze, Jones and Rowley left the group and returned to The Montanas. Hughes, Galley and Holland then continued as a trio.
That change became an important turning point for Trapeze. The three musicians developed a heavier sound that drew more heavily from hard rock, blues and funk.
Their next album, Medusa, arrived in November 1970, only months after the debut. It was followed by You Are the Music... We're Just the Band in 1972.
The trio also built a strong following in the United States through extensive touring. Their growing profile eventually attracted the attention of Deep Purple.
In 1973, Hughes left Trapeze to join Deep Purple, per That Epic Alper. He became the band’s bassist and second vocalist and later became a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame through his work with the group.
Galley went on to join Whitesnake, while Holland later achieved international success as a member of Judas Priest.
The careers that followed helped expand the legacy of Trapeze beyond its original recordings.
Galley died in 2008 at age 60 after battling cancer. Holland died in January 2018. Hughes is now the sole surviving member of the classic Trapeze lineup.
The band’s history also includes several lineup changes, later albums and reunion performances. Hughes, Galley and Holland reunited for tours in the 1990s, but Trapeze ultimately remained inactive after the final reunion period.
The 2026 vinyl release brings the story back to where it began: the original five-member lineup and the album that introduced Trapeze to rock audiences.

1980 Smash Hit Power Ballad, Inspired by a Messy Relationship, Almost Wasn't Released as a Single
When Gary Richrath and Kevin Cronin were writing the music for REO Speedwagon's massively successful 1980 album Hi Fidelity, both of the musicians were dealing with heartbreak. As a result, Cronin wrote "Keep on Loving You," about choosing to stay with a cheating partner...but Richrath took a different approach with "Take It on the Run."
While the narrator of "Keep on Loving You" is determined to stick with his unfaithful partner even though he knows "about all those men," "Take It on the Run" is sung from the perspective of someone who doesn't want to believe the rumors about his relationship...but he's not planning to stick around if they're true:
You're thinking up your white lies
You're putting on your bedroom eyes
You say you're coming home but you won't say when
But I can feel it coming
If you leave tonight keep running
And you need never look back again
"When I wrote that, I woke up one night, half asleep, and sat down in front of the TV," Richrath recalled later, per the Tampa Bay Times. "There was a soap opera on it. I was just sitting there, strumming a guitar, thinking, 'God, these guys' relationships are worse than mine.' I just sat there and sang vocals about the effects of gossip and relationships breaking up, which was what was on the tube and all that was similar to what was going on in my life."
In a 2016 interview with Songwriter Universe, Cronin praised Richrath's songwriting skills, comparing "Take It on the Run" to one of his favorite Beatles' songs.
"I used to listen to the Beatles’ Rubber Soul album — I know that album inside and out," Cronin explained. "It just so happens that the album came out when I was in junior high school. I’d just started to write a couple little silly songs. I was talking to someone today about how the opening line of a song is so important to me. The opening line may be even more important than the title. When you talk about [the line] 'I once had a girl, or should I say, she once had me,' the opening line from 'Norwegian Wood,' which is arguably the greatest opening line in the history of songwriting."
"Even our song 'Take It on the Run' which Gary Richrath wrote, 'Heard it from a friend, who heard it from a friend, who heard it from another you’ve been messin’ around' — when I heard that line that Gary wrote, I said 'this song is amazing.' I was determined to do everything I could possibly do to get that song finished and help Gary in any way, so we could record that song, because that opening line just killed me. As my father always used to say, you only get one chance to make a first impression, and in songwriting that’s it…your opening line."

As Cronin told Classic Rock, while the song was originally titled "Don't Let Me Down," he convinced Richrath to change the name to "Take It on the Run." He also persuaded REO Speedwagon's record label to release the song as a single.
"As with 'Keep On Loving You,' Epic didn’t want to release this as a single. They were gonna go for 'In Your Letter' instead. But I put my foot down, and we all demanded they went for 'Take It on the Run.' Again, we were right, it was Top Five in the States!”
Indeed, "Take It on the Run" peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1981, and spent a whopping 20 weeks on the chart overall.

1979 Rock Song, Never a No. 1 Hit, Ranked Among Greatest ‘Classic Rock Songs' of All Time
More than four decades after its debut, The Clash’s iconic 1979 song “London Calling” has earned another major feat, further cementing its status as one of classic rock’s most celebrated anthems.
Often referred to as "The Only Band That Matters," the quartet consisting of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Joe Strummer, Mick Jones on lead guitar and vocals, Paul Simonon on bass guitar and Nicky "Topper" Headon on drums delivered high-energy music blending punk rock and reggae while also using their songs to address social activism and protest.
Among the band’s most enduring classics is “London Calling,” the title track from its third studio album.
Collider listed the top 25 greatest classic rock songs, spanning soft rock, hard rock, psychedelic rock, progressive rock and other subgenres, released between the 1960s and 1980s.
The Clash members Joe Strummer, Paul Simonon, Mick Jones, Nicky 'Topper' Headon in New York, in 1978.With David Bowie’s 1977 track "Heroes" topping the rankings, The Clash’s “London Calling” secured the No. 11 spot.
Described as an outstanding example of punk rock, the publication emphasized the band’s ability to incorporate influences from other musical styles into the song.
Written by Strummer and Jones, the song focuses on the socioeconomic problems and environmental fears that plagued Britain during the late 1970s.
“We felt that we were struggling about to slip down a slope or something, grasping with our fingernails. And there was no one there to help us,” Strummer told Uncut magazine as cited by Far Out Magazine.
View this post on InstagramWith lyrics painting an apocalyptic image of the capital and discussing worries about nuclear disaster and the socioeconomic problems faced by thousands of people in the city, the song retains The Clash’s classic style of questioning authority.
Despite “London Calling” being regarded as one of The Clash’s masterpieces, the track had a slow-burn breakthrough.
Although the 1979 rock song surprisingly failed to enter the US Billboard Hot 100, it secured a spot on the UK Singles Chart at No. 11, making it the band’s highest-charting British single upon its release.
Best-Selling Author’s 2004 Novel Ranked Among Best Books of All Time
More than two decades after its publication, Alan Hollinghurst's The Line of Beauty continues to rank among the most celebrated novels of the 21st century.
The bestselling 2004 book has been included on Pan Macmillan's list of the 50 best books of all time, placing it alongside literary classics by authors including Cormac McCarthy, George Eliot, Toni Morrison, and Don Delillo. The recognition further cements the novel's reputation as one of the most influential works of modern British literature.
Published in 2004, The Line of Beauty is set in 1980s Britain during the years of Margaret Thatcher's government.
The novel follows Nick Guest, a young gay man who moves into the affluent London home of a Conservative Member of Parliament. As Nick becomes immersed in a world of privilege, politics, art, and desire, Hollinghurst explores themes of class, sexuality, power, and identity against the backdrop of a rapidly changing society in the 1980s.
"I had lived through that period and had pretty vivid memories of its political and social convulsions, and of the devastations of AIDS," Hollinghurst said in a 2024 interview. "I moved to London in 1981 and lived for the first two years in Notting Hill, so I had a clear sense of the geographical terrain of the novel. I’ve always been wary of research – beyond the basic need to get things right – and I treasure small details that trigger the imagination, which is really what counts when writing any kind of novel."
View this post on InstagramThe book earned widespread critical acclaim upon release.
Reviewers praised Hollinghurst's elegant prose, richly developed characters, and nuanced examination of British life during the Thatcher era. The novel's blend of social commentary and intimate storytelling resonated with readers, helping establish it as one of the year's most talked-about literary releases.
Its success culminated in one of literature's highest honors.
In 2004, The Line of Beauty won the Booker Prize, making Hollinghurst the first openly gay writer to receive the prestigious award. The victory significantly expanded the novel's international readership and cemented his place among Britain's leading contemporary novelists.
The novel's influence has only grown in the years since.
Frequently taught in university literature courses and praised for its exploration of politics, sexuality, and social ambition, The Line of Beauty remains a touchstone of contemporary fiction. In 2006, it also inspired a BBC television adaptation, introducing Hollinghurst's story to an even wider audience.
"I've always thought that I write rather peculiar fragments of the bigger picture and often that the protagonists are rather strange people," Hollinghurst told Another Mag. “You know, they’re not archetypal people, particularly, and they're not idealized people. They're people with their own flaws and problems."
Now, more than 20 years after its debut, The Line of Beauty has received another significant honor with its inclusion on Pan Macmillan's list of the greatest books of all time. For Alan Hollinghurst, the novel remains a defining achievement, one whose elegant storytelling and timeless themes continue to resonate with readers around the world.

Gene Kelly’s Only Onscreen Dance With His Brother Created Rare Hollywood Magic
Deep in My Heart, released in 1954, brought together some of Hollywood’s biggest musical talents for a biopic celebrating the life and work of composer Sigmund Romberg. The star-studded cast featured an impressive lineup of performers, including Gene Kelly, Ann Miller, Gigi Perreau, Vic Damone, and José Ferrer as Romberg. The film is remembered for its elaborate musical numbers and ambitious showcase of MGM’s golden age of musicals, but one sequence stands out above the rest: the only onscreen moment shared by Gene Kelly and his older brother, Fred Kelly.

♬ Singing In The Rain - Gene KellyOne of the most memorable scenes in the film is the musical number “I Love to Go Swimmin’ With Wimmen.” In the scene, Gene Kelly is paired with one of his most important dance partners — his brother Fred Kelly. Having performed together as youngsters with their siblings in a dance act called The Five Dancing Kellys, dance had always been at the center of the brothers’ lives.
Both brothers went on to have successful but separate careers. Gene Kelly became a Hollywood icon through films like Singin’ in the Rain, On the Town, and An American in Paris. Fred Kelly enjoyed a prolific career as a Broadway performer, choreographer, and director. Though the brothers danced together in their youth, they never appeared together on film until Deep in My Heart.
The Kelly brothers’ appearance together in Deep in My Heart gave audiences a rare glimpse of their shared roots and their undeniable chemistry built from a lifetime of dancing together. Their ability to synchronize their movements, as if one was the mirror of the other, represented years of shared connection through dance.

♬ original sound - popsingsThough Gene Kelly and Fred Kelly remained close throughout their lives, they rarely performed together professionally. Part of the reason was that their careers moved in different directions. Gene became the movie star whose innovative choreography and genre-defining athleticism transformed the Hollywood musical.
Fred Kelly focused much of his talent behind the scenes, dedicating his career to choreography and teaching more than performing.
At the height of his fame, Gene Kelly had developed a unique screen persona built around storytelling, athleticism, and solo performances. His most famous routines were often designed specifically to showcase his own style and abilities. Fred Kelly wasn’t simply trying to keep up with his younger brother — the pair’s talents were equally matched, shaped by years of shared history and experience.
A Rare Family Moment in Hollywood HistoryThe only onscreen performance featuring Gene Kelly and Fred Kelly makes Deep in My Heart even more special. This wasn’t just another musical number — it was a rare family reunion capturing two brothers who shared the same childhood passion but followed different paths as adults.
More than 70 years later, Deep in My Heart may not be Gene Kelly’s most famous film, but its rare Gene and Fred Kelly dance number remains one of the most personal and unforgettable moments captured during Hollywood’s golden age of musicals.

Instead of rifling through a chaotic stack, you reach for pieces that are all the right size, all the right weight, and all in a style that actually looks like you chose it on purpose. It turns a mindless grab-and-go moment into a small ritual that feels a little bit luxurious, even when you're half awake.

Whether you're hosting brunch, working from home, or just trying to make your 6 a.m. coffee feel a little less basic, the right mugs can elevate the whole experience without breaking the bank. A simple ceramic upgrade can make supermarket beans taste better, make your kitchen look more pulled together, and make every refill feel like an intentional pause instead of a frantic top-off. When your mugs finally match the mood you want for your mornings, the entire ritual feels calmer, more thoughtful, and a lot more like something you look forward to instead of just powering through.

Who Went Home on Big Brother Tonight? Week 3 Live Eviction Results (Spoilers)
Jason De Puy became the third person evicted from Big Brother 28. The RuPaul's Drag Race alum was backdoored by HoH Kamu Kirk after a dramatic three weeks in the house, which included him being involved in multiple confrontations. When he lost a must-win BB Block Buster to Mallory Aurichio, his fate was set.
Check out our spoiler-filled recap of tonight's episode below and find out who was evicted from Big Brother 28.
Who was eliminated on Big Brother 28 tonight?Jason De Puy Jason De Puy on 'Big Brother 28'Evan Mulling/CBS
Despite not entering with the reality "icons" on premiere night, Jason had a significant resume coming into the Big Brother house, considering his two seasons on RuPaul's Drag Race. But it soon became clear, while loose lips make for great shady confessionals, they also sink ships. Jason began scheming against his fellow unscripted alums from the jump, trying to gather the numbers against Rick Devens and even fake crying to Angela Murray that she would be his mom in the house.
Unfortunately, it wasn't long before Jason's actions got back to the icons, who were eager to blow up his spot ASAP. And they did just that, as Devens not only threw him up on the block, but he and Angela proceeded to call him out. Jason's game was cracked like a precarious eggshell, though he was able to survive thanks to a clutch Block Buster win. This past week, Kamu told Jason he was safe, though the drag queen imagined something else was afoot. Indeed, the MMA fighter was planning a TKO, not only backdooring him, but attempting to air out his game during a house tea party. And Jason was more than happy to get loud right back, spending his final days in the house with kettle and spoon in hand. Unfortunately, though, his fate was too well-steeped. After losing the Block Buster, Jason had run out of runway, told by the house to "sashay away."
Evan Mulling/CBS
It was a back-and-forth battle between Mallory and Jason. But the rocket scientist was able to eke out another victory, saving herself from eviction.

Unpublished Novel Pulled After $2.4M Deal Due to AI Authorship Concerns
A warning for all writers who are thinking about using AI.
Deadline reports that the unpublished debut novel Call Me, I’ll Hide the Body by an unnamed author has been pulled due to concerns about AI.
The novel was sold to Minotaur/Macmillan Publishers for what sources believe was a $2.4 million deal, which included rights to the follow-up.
Questions were later raised about the author's use of AI, which has led to the book being pulled. While there were initial checks on the manuscript, concerns were raised again when they went to sell the movie/TV rights.
Deadline reports that Sandy Hodgman, an independent from Hodgman Literary who sells foreign rights for Europa Content, pulled back its submission of the novel to international publishers.
In an email obtained by the outlet, Hodgman said that the "incredible" manuscript "dazzled" publishers around the world, but they failed to authenticate the evolution of the writing. The email adds that while they vetted the submission and were reassured that AI tools weren't used, they could no longer substantiate any claims.
"This raises so many questions about authorship and what AI means for this industry, but those are questions for another day. We regret that our enthusiasm led to this outcome and we apologize to our publishing partners," Hodgman adds.
The novel reportedly follows a "cleaner" from Nigeria who moves to Houston to pursue a chemistry PHD. His ability to "clean" up bodies leads to him becoming involved in a dangerous cartel operation.
AI usage in publishing has become a hot topic with a few high-profile works pulled because of it. The release of Shy Girl by Mia Ballard was canceled in the US and discontinued in the UK after readers pointed out it featured numerous tell-tale signs of AI. Ballard continues to say she hired a freelance editor who may have used a LLM.
The New York Times, which first reported the story, claimed it "appears to be the first commercial novel from a major publishing house to be pulled over evidence of AI use".
Deidre Hall Looks Back on the Marlena Possession Storyline Fans Never Forgot, ‘It Was Pretty Thrilling’
It was one of, if not the, most iconic plots in daytime soap opera history. The Marlena-possessed-by-the-devil Days of Our Lives storyline took the fantastical nature of soaps to a whole new level. And now actress Deidre Hall is giving her take on the supernatural narrative.
Hall celebrated her 50th anniversary on Days of Our Lives in June. In a lookback on her career with the NBC soap, the acclaimed actress opened up and talked candidly to PEOPLE about her experiences on the show and giving some background tidbits on that famous possession plot: “We had been shooting shows where strange things were happening—Christmas trees catching fire, blah, blah, blah, you know the story—and I got called upstairs before Christmas break, and I thought, ‘This is not a godd thing.’”
“I ended up in a conversation with Tom Langan, who was our EP at that point, and Jim Riley, our head writer. This is a tough room.”

(Photo by: Gary Null/NBCU Photo Bank/NBCUniversal via Getty Images via Getty Images)She continued, “They said, ‘We just wanted to talk to you before we break to let you know that you’re the one who’s causing all the chaos.’ Okay, why is that? And he said, ‘Because you’re possessed by the devil.’ As one is.”
Like just about everyone else, Hall wasn’t exactly sold on the script at first. “It’s so ridiculous, she said. “It was a lot.”
But Hall didn’t downplay the story as silly. The actress explained, “All I said at that time was, just because it’s such an odd thing to do, let’s really commit to it and do it right so it’s a story we can be proud of.”

(Photo by: Gary Null/NBCU Photo Bank/NBCUniversal via Getty Images via Getty Images)Between the glowing eyes, demonic voice, and levitation, the Days’ devil possession plot was, as Hall says, “shocking to people when it happened.” She went on to reveal how Marlena was able to “float” over the bed: “I actually did levitate. I hesitate to call it a stunt, but they’d cleared the studio and they’d turn off all the monitors to the entire building, including the dressing rooms and makeup room. Nobody was seeing it on camera. And we had the man there that had created the device that made it happen and we just shot it—one, maybe two takes.”
“It was a little scary because I actually do lift out of the bed. And then you saw it on TV, and with all the lighting and the music…Yeah, it was pretty thrilling.”
What do fans think of the Marlena devil possession story arc?The devil possession plot was an unforgettable moment in daytime soap history that fans still talk about on social media. As one Redditor pointed out, “Whether people liked it or not, it’s the reason Days was pushed into the mainstream consciousness and cemented its place in pop culture.” Others added, “It's what got me into the show,” and “Best. Well acted. Well plotted, Satisfying conclusion. They don’t make em like that any more.”
But fans are divided over the merit of this possession. Internet critics said it was the “Worst” and wrote, “I quit watching Days for a while around that time, I thought it was so ridiculous. But soap writing became progressively worse over the years and it was harder to find anything good, so I came back and learned to roll with it.”
Nancy Guthrie Update: Man Detained During Investigation Seeks Staggering Amount
A months-long investigation into Nancy Guthrie's disappearance has taken another turn—this time in the form of a multimillion-dollar legal claim.
Carlos Palazuelos, who was detained and later released during the investigation earlier this year, has filed a notice of claim against the Pima County Sheriff's Department, Sheriff Chris Nanos and Detective Earl Gieron. Two others—Daniel and Josefina Maddoz—are also included in the filing, with the three collectively seeking $3.25 million.
According to the notice of claim, per ABC15 on Thursday, July 30, the family alleges investigators publicly connected Palazuelos to the high-profile case despite never charging him with a crime. The filing also argues authorities lacked probable cause to detain him and are seeking compensation for what they describe as lasting reputational and emotional harm.
Palazuelos' attorney has also called on the sheriff's office to publicly clear his client's name, arguing that the family continues to live with the fallout from the investigation months later.
The legal filing marks the latest development in the search for Guthrie, who disappeared from her Tucson, Arizona, home on January 31. Despite months of searching, the 84-year-old has not been found, and the investigation remains ongoing.
Earlier this week, Nancy's daughter, Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie, shared another emotional video on Instagram pleading with anyone who knows what happened to come forward. "It has been months since our mom was taken from us," Savannah said. "Our family is in agony. We are in a nightmare that will not end."
She also addressed the person she believes knows where her mother is, saying, "So I'm asking you, begging you to do the right thing now. Make the right choice. Help us find her. Tell us where to look for her."
Savannah ended her message with one final appeal: "I truly believe it is never too late to do the right thing…Please make the right choice."
Under Arizona law, the county has 60 days to respond to the notice of claim before it can be considered rejected.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Pima County Sheriff’s Department at 520-351-4900 or the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI.
Nancy Guthrie Twist: Hair Sample DNA Results Deal Major Blow to Investigation
In a major Nancy Guthrie update, DNA results from a hair sample were revealed six months after Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie's mother, 84, was abducted in Tucson, Ariz.
On Thursday, July 30, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos revealed that a hair sample from Nancy's home that underwent forensic testing came back inconclusive and pointed to no suspect.
"It came back with no results," he told CBS News, noting that the results were verified in early June.
However, Nanos also said that other DNA found at the scene is still being analyzed. "I know that there was blood at the scene, and so that was also part of the processing of the scene," he shared.
Nanos added, "We have a lot of DNA that is being looked at by credible scientists around the country who know and understand what they have in front of them, and they understand the rules that they have to play by."
View this post on InstagramThe hair sample news came on the same day that the Pima County Sheriff's Department (PCSD) released a new statementvia X.
In its post, the department shared, "The Guthrie investigation remains active and ongoing. A task force of investigators from the Pima County Sheriff’s Department and the FBI remains committed to finding Nancy and providing answers to her family.”
It continued, “The analysis of DNA and digital evidence has been underway for the past six months. This work is complex and time-intensive, but the investigation continues to pursue every credible lead.”
Additionally, the PCSD urged "anyone with information" to "come forward and help bring this case to a resolution" by calling 1-800-CALL-FBI or 88-CRIME. Those calling 88-CRIME can remain anonymous.
Nancy was last seen at her Tucson home on the evening of January 31. Despite Savannah offering a $1 million reward, no suspect has been named.

Aldi Is Selling the Daintiest Cottage-Inspired Comforter for a Pretty Bedroom Refresh
Not every bed needs a bold floral print, dramatic stripes or a busy pattern to make a style impact. Sometimes, a few small details are all it takes to make simple bedding feel a little more special. A soft ruffle around the edges can add texture and movement, while a subtle pop of color can keep an otherwise neutral comforter from looking flat or forgettable. These details bring in personality without taking over the entire room, which is especially nice if you prefer a calm, uncluttered bedroom. And, honestly, who doesn't want tranquility in their bedroom?
Think of it as the bedding equivalent of adding a pretty trim to a classic outfit. The overall look is still simple and easy to live with, but the extra touch gives it a little more charm. That balance is what makes understated bedding so versatile: It can work with colorful throw pillows and patterned sheets, or hold its own in a more minimalist space.
Kirkton House Pink Ruffle Reversible Comforter, $19.99 at AldiAldi
Aldi's Kirkton House Pink Ruffle Reversible Comforter offers that just-right amount of visual interest, proving you don't need a busy pattern to make a bed look pretty. It comes in white with a romantic ruffle trim. Then, there's an inner border made of pink rickrack, that sort of squiggly fabric trim that makes anything look more dainty. It's available in either a full or twin size; each costs $19.99.

What I love about this comforter is that you can pair it with a solid sheet set (white or a pale pink would look so great), or go with a pattern that incorporates pink and white—maybe a floral or bow motif.
When it comes to bedding, Aldi almost always has a plush-looking comforter in stock. Depending on the season, it could be something sweet and ruffly like the piece shown above, or incorporate a delicate floral pattern. Of course, once we hit the cooler months, expect the retailer to ramp up its selection of bedding that boasts fall colors or even Halloween prints. The one thing that's always the same is that the bedding is cozy and budget-friendly, which is great for anyone who likes to swap out their comforter or duvet cover on a regular basis.
Arnold Schwarzenegger Celebrates His 79th Birthday by Pumping Iron Outdoors: ‘I Don’t Want Any Gifts'
Arnold Schwarzeneggerkicked off his 79th birthday by pumping some iron.
The legendary actor, businessman, and former Governor of California took to Instagram and made it clear that he's not looking for any big gifts for his 79th birthday. Instead, the star asked followers to download his fitness app. Sporting a pair of sunglasses, Schwarzenegger showed off his bulging biceps as he lifted weights outdoors.
"I turn 79 today. I don’t want any gifts. Instead, my team and I are turning the fitness industry upside down," Schwarzenegger wrote.
View this post on Instagram Schwarzenegger Made a Rare Appearance With His Girlfriend, Heather MilliganLast month, Schwarzenegger made a rare public appearance alongside his stunning girlfriend, Heather Milligan. He stepped out with Milligan, 51, and former US Vice President Kamala Harris at the Austrian World Summit of the Schwarzenegger Climate Initiative in Vienna, Austria. With a smile on his face, Schwarzenegger stood next to the blonde beauty, who looked chic in a yellow-green jacket.
How Did Schwarzenegger and Heather Milligan Meet?Schwarzenegger, who was previously married to Maria Shriver, met Milligan back in 2012 after he underwent shoulder surgery while preparing to film Escape Plan with Sylvester Stallone, PEOPLE shared. Milligan, a physical therapist, was recommended by Stallone to aid with his recovery. After the movie was done, Schwarzenegger reached out.
“I went to her, and then after my therapy was finished, after I was finished with the movie, I called her back and took her out for lunch to say thank you,” Schwarzenegger said. “And then one thing led to the next.”
Schwarzenegger has nothing but love for his girlfriend, who rarely makes public appearances alongside him. That’s likely due to her busy schedule running Elite OrthoSport, one of the largest physical therapy clinics on the West Side of Los Angeles.
“We have so many things in common,” he said in 2023. “I think the world of her. I love that she’s into working. She’s clearly independent. She just is driven as hell.”
What’s Next for Arnold Schwarzenegger? The Austrian icon has an exciting new project coming up alongside Geena Davis. Deadline just reported that Schwarzenegger is set to join The Kellys, a new action film from Amazon MGM. He’ll star alongside Davis, Liam Hemsworth, Kelsey Asbille, and Abby Elliott. According to the provided synopsis, The Kellys follows Jack Kelly, a disgraced NYC cop whose wife, Molly, is taken hostage by terrorists inside an old armory building. “He’ll have to join forces with the people he fears most to save her: His family,” the synopsis reads.
