This Stevie Nicks & Lindsey Buckingham Song Matches You, Based on Birth Date

Thu, 04/09/2026 - 2:17pm

From Lennon and McCartney to Simon and Garfunkel, rock music fans have had certain powerful pairs to thank for legendary hits that we can’t seem to stop playing time and again. One of the most enduring duos is undoubtedly Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham, high school sweethearts who’d go onto become a rock duo, members of Fleetwood Mac, solo artists, and so much more.

Since their only album together, 1973’s Buckingham Nicks, was remastered and re-released last year, fans of the duo have been itching to see if the former flames might be looking to collaborate again in some way — whether by touring or even releasing new music together. And in a March 27 Instagram reel, Buckingham recently stoked those fires by alluding to some kind of development down the road. Fans have also been taking walks down memory lane by listening to the expansive catalogue that both dynamic songwriters have to offer. (“Silver Springs” on repeat, anyone?)

Read on to find out which Nicks, Buckingham, or Buckingham and Nicks-penned track matches your energy and personality best, based on your birth date.

Which Stevie Nicks & Lindsey Buckingham Song Matches Your Vibe, Based on Your Birth Date

Read on to learn which rock royalty-written song mirrors your personality, based on the date you were born.

Born on the 1st, 10th, 19th, or 28th: “Silver Springs" by Stevie Nicks

You were born on a date associated with the sun, the luminary that gives serious main character energy to anything it touches, because it is, after all, the very epicenter of our solar system. In astrology, the sun oversees self-image, confidence, vitality, drive, purpose, and conviction. Appealing to your romantic side, Stevie Nicks’ “Silver Springs,” originally written for 1977’s Rumours, is idealistic and dreamy. But it also speaks to your self-assuredness with the driving beat and message Nicks delivers in the final moments of the track (“I'll follow you down 'til the sound of my voice will haunt you, give me just a chance/You'll never get away from the sound of the woman that loves you”). The song’s ability to serve as an empowering anthem is a reason fans are still obsessing over it — and Nicks’ 1997 The Dance performance of it — to this day.

FUN: This is Your Perfect Comfort Meal, Based on Birth Month

Born on the 2nd, 11th, 20th, or 29th: “Dreams” by Stevie Nicks

You're someone who came into the world on a day that’s connected to the moon, which oversees how we nurture and want to be nurtured, as well as our intuition and instincts. In turn, your perspective is colored by caregiving feminine energy and emotional intelligence. The iconic classic, “Dreams,” written by Stevie Nicks for Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours in 1977, reflects your romanticism and heartfelt experience in the world and showcases a moon-influence person’s signature sentimentality with the lyrics “Like a heartbeat drives you mad/In the stillness of remembering what you had/And what you lost.”

OTHER: Which Spring Flower Mirrors Your Soul, Based on Birth Month

Born on the 3rd, 12th, 21st, or 30th: “Go Your Own Way” by Lindsey Buckingham

As someone whose birth date reduces down to three, you’re jovial, optimistic, lighthearted, playful, and a fan of spreading your wings, pushing yourself, and going bigger as much as possible, because three is ruled by Jupiter. Considered the “Great Benefic” in astrology, the largest planet in our solar system oversees abundance, fortune, joy, and expansion. That said, you can’t get much bolder or go-big-or-go-home than “Go Your Own Way,” which appeared on 1977’s Rumours and was written as a “stream of consciousness” rooted in Buckingham’s raw emotions. It would go on to become one of Fleetwood Mac’s biggest, most successful hits, landing on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll list.

Born on the 4th, 13th, 22nd, or 31st: “Holiday Road” by Lindsey Buckingham

Your birth date reduces down to four, which is associated with Uranus, the planet of rebellion, revolution, and change. This makes you quirky, innovative, contrarian, inventive, and unique — all characteristics that might also be used to describe Buckingham’s 1983 solo tune that was written for the film National Lampoon's Vacation. To fit the Chevy Chase comedy, Buckingham opted to go with a surprising, humorous bent to the production of the song. It also continues to serve as a wacky, eyebrow-raiser in Buckingham’s catalogue, and that oddball element is something you can undoubtedly appreciate as a Uranian person.

NEXT: The Perfect Retirement for Your Birth Month

Born on the 5th, 14th, or 23rd: “Rhiannon” by Stevie Nicks

If you were born on a day that reduces down to the number five, your numerological planetary ruler is Mercury, which oversees how we gather information, research, think, exchange information, and tell stories. In turn, your anthem is the deeply narratively-driven track “Rhiannon,” written by Nicks, who was born with her sun (and Mercury!) in Mercury-ruled Gemini. The Welsh witch character of Rhiannon is also quite mercurial, as you likely tend to be, in that Nicks describes her as someone who “rules her life like a fine skylark” and is “a woman taken by the wind.”

Born on the 6th, 15th, or 24th: “Frozen Love” by Lindsey Buckingham & Stevie Nicks

If you celebrate your birthday on one of these dates, you’re working with the numerology of the number six, which is aligned with Venus, the planet of beauty, romance, art, music, and peace. Look no further than the only track on Buckingham Nicks to include writing credits for both Lindsey and Stevie, which ends the album and was also one of the songs that caught Mick Fleetwood’s attention. Written about the early days of their romance, Nicks initially wrote it as a poem, worked on the musical accompaniment on an acoustic guitar, and then handed it to Buckingham for revision. In a 2025 interview, Buckingham said of “Frozen Love”: "[Nicks] understood that I was transforming things for her, and I understood that I wouldn't have had anything to transform without the beautiful center that she’d given me." You don’t get much more Venusian — aka partnership-oriented, loving, artistic — than that.

OTHER: Which Baby Animal Mirrors You, Based on Birth Date

Born on the 7th, 16th, or 25th: “Crystal” by Stevie Nicks

You’re someone whose imagination is as much of a resplendent, vivid force to be reckoned with as your spirituality, because your birth date reduces down to seven, a number aligned with Neptune, the planet of dreams, mysticism, and illusion. You’re innately a little bit psychic and even slightly witchy, which fits with the vibe of the Nicks-penned track “Crystal,” which originally appeared on Buckingham Nicks before being included on the Fleetwood Mac album and later, the Practical Magic soundtrack in 1998. The whimsical tune includes a variety of lyrics that evoke images of water (“Through the crystal-like and clear water fountain/Drove me like a magnet/To the sea/To the sea/To the sea, yeah”), which is especially fitting for someone who is influenced by the planet named for the God of the Sea.

Born on the 8th, 17th, or 26th: “Landslide” by Stevie Nicks

Because you were born on a date that reduces down to the number eight, you’re resilient, practical, grounded, devoted to doing hard work, and responsible, because this birth date is associated with taskmaster Saturn. It’s the planet of maturity, wisdom, and putting your nose to the grindstone to achieve. In turn, you’re able to bring that kind of all-knowing, self-reflective perspective to your work — and your life as a whole. And that perspective is also woven throughout Nicks’ track of off 1975’s Fleetwood Mac. Mirroring Saturnian energy, Nicks’ lyrics acknowledge that we’re all “getting older” but that “time makes you bolder.”

MORE: This is Your Lucky Number, Based on Birth Month

Born on the 9th, 18th, or 27th: “Tusk” by Lindsey Buckingham

If your birth date reduces down to nine, you’re driven, energetic, full of courage, and highly passionate, because you were born on a day associated with Mars, the planet of action, energy, sex, and war. In turn, your anthem is Buckingham’s 1979 track that served as the centerpiece of Fleetwood Mac’s Tusk album. The driving beat, hypnotic, march-like tone — which went hand-in-hand with the track being recorded alongside the University of Southern California's (USC) Trojan Marching Band — fits with your Mars influence. Put it on when you need to get fired up to go to bat for something you desire.

This 'Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills' Star Is Literally Wearing Her Own Face For The Reunion

Thu, 04/09/2026 - 2:14pm

While Jennifer Tilly may have had a tame season on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hillsthis year, she's making the reunion all about her.

In photos released by Bravo of the cast's Season 15 reunion looks, Tilly, who is part of the show in a "Friend-Of" capacity, donned a strapless gown that was complete with a huge image of her face on it.

View this post on Instagram

"I'm wearing a beautiful Balmain dress made specifically for me, and it has my face on the front of it in beads—in millions and millions of beads," she told BravoTV.com. "The dress weighs about 30 pounds."

"I can't really sit in it, but it looks good standing up," she added. "The vibe is going to be incredibly uncomfortable!"

She also noted that her makeup artist, Rob Rumsey, made sure her face matched her dress and she completed the look with "a big '70s hairdo."

Her accessories included jewelry by Bulgari and shoes by Giuseppe Zanotti.

While Tilly joined the franchise just last year, her striking ensemble should come as no surprise to fans as she regularly shows off her avant-garde or expensive designer pieces on the show, including Louis Vuitton bags that are upwards of $30,000.

The show's most recent season welcomed newcomer Amanda Frances and fashion icon, who previously appeared on Bravo with her own show, Rachel Zoe.However, a major storyline revolved around the ongoing rift between two staple cast members, Kyle Richardsand Dorit Kemsley, which comes to a head during a group trip to Italy.

Bozoma St. John,Erika Jayne, Sutton Stracke, and Kathy Hilton round out this season's cast.

And while their looks may not have been exactly made for them in the way Tilly's was, they didn't skimp on their outfits either as they all sported designer dresses and shoes like Roberto Cavalli and Christian Louboutin.

The reunion, hosted by Bravo exec Andy Cohen, will air on April 23rd, following the show's season finale next week.

1975 Classic Hit No. 1 51 Years Ago Today—It Was Inspired by a Forbidden Love

Thu, 04/09/2026 - 2:13pm

Released in early 1975, "Always Wanting You" became the 20th No. 1 hit for Merle Haggard, spending two weeks atop the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart and continuing his dominant run during the decade.

But what made the song linger wasn’t just its chart success—it was the deeply personal story behind it.

Related: 45 Years Ago Today, Dolly Parton Scored Her First and Only No. 1 Hit on the Billboard Hot 100

Haggard wrote "Always Wanting You" about Dolly Parton, whom he had fallen for while the two were working together in the mid-1970s. At the time, both were married, and while Haggard made his feelings known, Parton insisted a relationship could never happen.

Related: 1970 Merle Haggard Patriotic Classic Hit No. 1 56 Years Ago Today

While the song never names its inspiration outright, listeners have long connected its aching tone to that real-life situation. The restrained delivery—never over-sung, never overly dramatic—mirrors the reality of a love that couldn’t move forward. It’s that subtlety that helped the track stand out even among Haggard’s many hits during the 1970s, a period when he was consistently topping the charts and shaping the sound of country music. In a catalog full of classics, this one feels especially personal.

According to Haggard in his memoir "Sing Me Back Home," he even sang the song to her over the phone late one night, hoping it might change her mind. It didn’t—but the moment became part of country music lore.

That emotional tension is what gives the song its quiet power. Lines about longing and restraint weren’t just poetic—they reflected a real situation where desire had to remain unfulfilled.

By the time "Always Wanting You" reached No. 1 in April 1975, it marked Haggard’s sixth consecutive chart-topper and further cemented his place as one of country music’s defining voices.

The song also stands as a perfect example of what made Haggard so compelling: his ability to turn personal experience into something universal. Whether he was singing about heartbreak, regret, or the working-class experience, his songs felt lived-in—and listeners could hear it.

More than five decades later, "Always Wanting You" still resonates, not just as a chart-topping hit, but as a snapshot of a moment when real life and music blurred together in the most human way.

Sitting down to a beautifully set table can completely shift your mood before you even take the first bite of whatever meal you're about to eat. That quick weeknight pasta feels like a moment, not just dinner. And while I love a frilly, floral, full-on cottagecore tablescape as much as the next person, there's something so satisfying about a clean, crisp white plate. It lets the food shine and makes everything look a little more polished.

But here's my problem—plain white plates on their own are not exactly giving "I nailed this tablescape" energy. And, I mean, I'm not trying to go full Sandra Lee table themes every night, but a pop of color is always welcome.

So, basically, when I spotted this Member's Mark 12-Piece Stoneware Two-Tone Dinnerware Set at Sam's Club, I knew someone must have had the same dilemma I had when looking for new dishes. The interior of each piece is that plain white canvas, but you have four different colorways to choose from on the exterior. There's teal (shown above), green, blue and almond—all of which are just the loveliest hues. And the fact that the set is made of sturdy stoneware has me truly over the moon.

Within the set you get four dinner plates, four salad plates and four cereal bowls—so a service for four people. Note that if you have your heart set on the teal colorway, you'll have to order it online. Sam's Club doesn't carry that specific colorway in stores, but you can find the green, blue and almond on shelves.

Not only is the set gorgeous, but the price of $28.76 is pretty darn incredible. That breaks down to $7.19 per place setting.

You might think Sam's Club often plays second fiddle to that other warehouse club (hi, Costco), but it has some really great finds. Right now, you can score a space-saving outdoor rocking chair there and a beverage cooler that's meant for backyard parties. And if, after falling in love with your new stoneware two-tone dinnerware set, you decide you want some two-tone glasses, it's selling a set of those, too.

Savannah Louie Opens Up About Binge Eating Struggles After Back-to-Back ‘Survivor’ Seasons

Thu, 04/09/2026 - 2:02pm

Survivor 49 winner Savannah Louie is opening up about her struggles with binge eating following her run on the CBS reality competition series.

During the Wednesday, Apr. 8, episode of Victoria Garrick Browne’s Real Pod podcast, Louie shared that her relationship with food drastically changed after she was voted off Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans on Day 6.

Louie had roughly two weeks to recover from season 49 before filming for season 50 began.

“So, you know, I’ll preface this kind of by explaining, I’ve never had an eating disorder,” Louie said. “I’ve always been an athlete. And, you know, there have been times in my life where I thought, ‘OK, I could lose a few pounds,’ but I’ve always generally appreciated my body and the strength, more importantly, that my body has provided for me.”

The reality star then explained how reward challenges on the show worked, noting it gave castaways a chance to eat meals like steak, tacos, and grilled cheese sandwiches after starving on the island for days and even weeks.

“And you know, as the season goes on, the rewards get progressively bigger and greater and more delicious,” she continued. “And so, when I won some of those rewards, I would go from basically not eating anything to gorging and trying to eat as much as humanly possible.”

Louie added that these meals were often accompanied by strategizing and fun conversations, which “warped” her mindset when it came to eating.

“It’s the craziest thing because for that period of time, I was so used to, whenever I had a big plate of food or any opportunity of food, to just consuming as much as I humanly could,” she said.

Louie then said she developed a “weird, awkward relationship with food” that followed her early exit on Survivor 50.

“And so, it starts off, maybe, ‘OK, I’ll have some cake.’ And instead of having, like, maybe one slice of cake, I’ll have, and I kid you not, five very large slices of cake. And this would be after like a full day of eating,” Louie said. “And when I would eat, I wouldn’t just stop when I was full. I would eat until I was in physical pain. And even when I hit that point to where I felt like I was going to be sick, I would still feel the need to consume.”

Though Louie initially lost 10 pounds during Survivor 49, she then gained 30 pounds within the two months following Survivor 50.

“My body was also so inflamed, it hurt to work out,” she said. “I used to be very into the boot camp classes. I’m like, I cannot do that anymore. But even just the long walks that I would do around my neighborhood, that would actually be painful for my joints at times, just because my inflammation was so bad. I was losing hair, like my body, just like, it was in this state of confusion.”

Louie also recalled having a “full-blown panic attack” in a grocery store because she feared she would go into another binge eating episode.

“As someone who typically loves to have control over every aspect of their lives, I felt like I had zero control over what I was consuming," Louie said. "And it felt like a worst nightmare kind of thing, but it’s really, honestly, the first time I’ve talked publicly about this.”

"It was really hard to go through. My hope in sharing this is that maybe it can help someone," she added.

Louie said CBS connected her with a therapist who specialized in eating disorders which helped stabilize her condition.

If you or someone you know is struggling with an eating disorder, help is available. Contact the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) at 1-800-931-2237 or go to NationalEatingDisorders.org.

Jaden Smith Sends Heartwarming Message to 'Karate Kid' Co-Star Jackie Chan

Thu, 04/09/2026 - 1:51pm

Jaden Smith had the kindest message for Jackie Chan for his birthday.

The two legendary actors starred in the 2010 film The Karate Kid, which followed Dre Parker (Smith), a 12-year-old boy who moves to China because of his mom's job. Though he knows a little karate, his fighting skills are no match for Cheng (Zhenwei Wang), the school bully. Dre finds a friend in Mr. Han (Chan), a maintenance man who is also a martial-arts master. Mr. Han teaches Dre all about kung fu in the hope that Dre will be able to face down Cheng and perhaps win the heart of a pretty classmate named Mei Ying (Wenwen Han). Directed by Harald Zwart and written by Christopher Murphey, it served as the fifth movie in the Karate Kid franchise.

Chan celebrated his 72nd birthday on Tuesday. The action star served as a mentor to Smith, who was just 11 years old, while they were filming and releasing The Karate Kid. Though it's been 16 years since the release of the movie, Smith seems to still admire his co-star from all those years ago. He took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a heartfelt message to Chan, calling him "a legend, an icon and a leader."

"@jackiechan I Love You, You Changed My Life & Taught Me Things I Will Never Forget," Smith wrote as his caption. "I Could Never Be Who I Am Today Without You. You’re A Legend An Icon And A Leader. Happy Birthday See You Soon."

The post received more than two million likes just a day after it was shared. Many of Smith's fans, friends and family commented on the post, marking its cultural significance and their first public reunion in years.

A fan pointed out, "Never thought of seeing them together again 😍."

"Wow my childhood healed seeing this," a pop culture account commented on X.

Photographer and creative director Alan Silfen wrote, "The dynamic duo !!!"

"I remember the days this movie was all I watched 😭😭," a fan commented.

"THE CULTURAL SIGNIFICANCE," Willow Smith, Jaden's younger sister, commented.

"Never say never," many commented, referring to the popular Justin Bieber song that Smith has a cameo on.

Even the official Grammys account joined the conversation, simply commenting, "🙏🏽."

Matthew Macfadyen Shrinks Elizabeth Banks In 'The Miniature Wife': What To Know About The New Peacock Series

Thu, 04/09/2026 - 1:43pm

Elizabeth Banks and Matthew Macfadyen are two actors who, along with being unreasonably lovely, are also ridiculously funny, and both get to put those comedic skills on high display for their newest project, Peacock's The Miniature Wife. Created by Jennifer Ames and Steve Turner, the sci-fi rom-com series centers on a married couple whose relationship gets very complicated when one gets accidentally shrunken down to just six inches tall.

"What interested me about it was just the conversation: What is soft power versus hard power," Banks — who, alongside Macfadyen, is also a producer on the show — told Entertainment Weekly. "Because obviously he's physically huge and could squash [shrunken] me like a bug, but I have a lot of soft power in the relationship and influence over him and know how to use it. I really felt the whole thing was an incredible metaphor for the world we're living in today, and this conversation about power and what it looks like, and the masculine versus feminine of that, and how it's all melding together."

With The Miniature Wife hitting the streaming platform, here's everything to know about the new Peacock title, including release schedule, cast information, "how to watch" instructions and more.

Bath & Body Works Fans Gush Over ‘Unreal’ Limited-Edition Fragrance They’re ‘Obsessed With’

Thu, 04/09/2026 - 1:40pm

Part of the joy of shopping at Bath & Body Works is that the body care and home goods brand is constantly rotating in new products – much like Costco, the thrill of the hunt is as much a part of the experience as actually getting your purchases.

Unfortunately for fans, this means that beloved scents don’t always stick around indefinitely, going back into the vault to make room for new launches. While sometimes they make triumphant returns, like the ecstatic moment last June when Bath & Body Works brought back ten fan-favorite scents, including massive hits like 2011’s Bali Mango and 2007’s Chocolate Amber, once a fragrance disappears from store shelves, customers don’t know when, or if, they’ll ever get it again.

Related: These Bath & Body Works Finds Are Bringing Back ‘90s Kitchen Vibes in the Best Way

That seems to be happening again with a limited-edition scent from Bath & Body Works’ late 2025 collaboration with Milk Bar. The collection boasted five fragrances inspired by seasonal desserts like Raspberry Holiday Pie Bar and Peppermint Bark Truffle, as well Milk Bar classics like Cereal Milk Soft Serve and Milk Bar Birthday Cake. But one is currently top of mind for fans on Reddit, who are mourning that they can longer purchase Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel Cookie.

The gourmand fragrance features notes of toasted pretzel, cinnamon dusting, and sugared vanilla, and Reddit users have taken to the social media site to ask if anyone else is “still obsessed with this one.”

“I took a short break from this because I wore it everyday for months. But I’m wearing it again and it really is someone special. They really nailed the pretzel part,” the original poster wrote, calling it “an absolute masterpiece.” “It’s unreal. I’m still spraying mine every day. I think I’ll take a little break too and see if it gets even better. I love this and the cereal milk soft serve,” replied another.

Though this scent and its Milk Bar counterparts are no longer available at Bath & Body Works, fans say they’ve found a pretty close dupe with a drugstore brand. “In my search for a Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel Cookie replacement, I found Dove’s Sugar Cookie Sprinkle,” said one person on Reddit about the vanilla and cookie-scented product. “It’s enough to trick my brain!” they wrote, noting that it’s not an exact match for the Bath & Body Works scent.

How 'Malcolm in the Middle' Returned After 20 Years, According to Its Creator (Exclusive)

Thu, 04/09/2026 - 1:39pm

On Friday, after 20 years off the air, Malcolm in the Middle returns. The hit FOXsitcom ran for seven seasons in the late 90s and early 2000s, spotlighting the careers of Frankie Muniz, Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek. And, in recent years, both its stars and fans have been openly speculating about what a revival of the show would look like. It's yet another drop in the bucket for our modern-day television landscape, where everything old is new again with the return of hit shows like Scrubs and King of the Hill.

Enter: Malcolm in the Middle: Life's Still Unfair (premiering April 10 on Hulu). So the question is, given how popular a show Malcolm in the Middle is, and how prevalent revivals have been for the past decade, why has it taken so long to return to those familiar family shenanigans? The answer from series creator Linwood Boomer is a simple one.

"I had a good idea," he says. "Which I did not for over a decade."

🎬SIGN UP for Parade's Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬

Indeed, as the showrunner speaks with Parade in an exclusive interview, he admits that Cranston came to him years ago (the iconic actor has openly spoken about his desire to do a revival as far back as 2016). But the 70-year-old had initially refused. While making Malcolm in the Middle, he hit his 40-year anniversary of working in show business. When Season 7 wrapped, he was more than happy to leave it — and the industry — behind, leaving fans to say "life is unfair" at the prospect of seeing more of the family on our screens.

"I had a sort of stupidly self-indulgent amount of reasons not to do it, that needed to be satisfied before I could do it," Boomer admits. "Thankfully, the original one made me a boatload of money. And I got a lot of critical acclaim, so I didn't feel any need to be like, 'I got to keep going with it.' I realized I was kind of a prima donna, very entitled of me, very overprivileged of me to do."

But then his wife, Tracy Katsky Boomer, came to him with an idea. What if Malcolm (Muniz) had a child of his own? What would he look like as a parent? How would that compare and contrast with how he was raised by Hal (Cranston) and Lois (Kaczmarek)? Boomer was suddenly sparked, and from there, a revival was officially within the works.

Related: Bryan Cranston Fought 12 Years for ‘Malcolm in the Middle’ While the Creator Kept Saying No

"The thing about generational trauma that you don't really know until you're a parent, is everyone's doing their best," Tracy says. "Everyone's trying. But that doesn't invalidate anyone's experience. The kid that's like, 'This is traumatic. You're killing me. I'm having a terrible childhood because of your terrible parenting' is totally valid. And then the parents being like, 'I'm just trying to be a good parent and make the world good for you, also totally valid.'

"So I thought it was interesting, the chance for Malcolm, not only to have to deal with that and watch his genetics getting passed on, and to sort of heal himself through having his own kid. But also the stuff that these kids have to deal with now, the stuff that this generation has to deal with now, is so different than the things a teenage boy in 1999 had to deal with. And especially if you add the way that girls interact at a younger age, it is so different than the way the boys interact at a younger age, and then the world just being so different. It felt like there was a lot of room there."

The next step was attempting to get the band back together for one last four-episode gig. Boomer had stayed close with the actors since the series wrapped, so he knew they would all be in. But there were three non-negotiables for him behind the camera: Line producer Jimmy Simmons, director Ken Kwapis, and editor Steve Welsh. And Tracy would be taking on a new role as well. During Malcolm's original run, she was an executive at FOX before eventually moving into showrunning and producing herself. So she was someone who not only knew the series but experienced it from myriad angles.

Related: ‘Malcolm in the Middle’ Revival Trailer Is Here—But One Original Star Won’t Be

Indeed, one of Boomer and Cranston's primary goals with Malcolm in the Middle: Life's Still Unfair was to bring as many people from production back as possible. And that speaks to the intimate, yet comfortable setting they were able to cultivate while filming the first run.

"It was just a nice set," Boomer recalls. "It's really pleasant, and everyone got along. We put a real premium on good behavior from everybody. And I mean, I was by far the least well-behaved person in the entire organization, which made me feel great."

"It was very important to Lindwood during the original series," Tracy adds. "Because he worked on [Little House on the Prairie], a show around kids. So he felt very strongly that there were a lot of rules that you just needed to have on the set. And a lot of that was about the way that people talk to each other, the kinds of language that you use. When the kids weren't there, it was a little bit more flexible. But he had very strict rules. 'These are children, and they are working children, and we need to respect them and take care of them. And we are the adults, and we need to behave like such.'"

Like any good household, rules needed to exist to not only set up structure, but also create an environment of mutual respect, no matter what age or position. It seems like, decades later, it's successfully created an environment both on and off-camera. And now it's time for a family reunion.

Malcolm in the Middle: Life's Still Unfair releases all four episodes on Friday, April 10 on Hulu.

Joey Lawrence Welcomes Fourth Child, and He’s Finally a Boy Dad

Thu, 04/09/2026 - 1:38pm

Whoa! The former Blossom star is finally a boy dad. Actor Joey Lawrence welcomed a new family member over the Easter weekend, and the famous father is over the moon.

How many children does Joey Lawrence have?

Lawrence is now a parent to four children. He shares his first two daughters, Charleston “Charli” Lawrence (age 19) and Liberty “Libby” Grace Lawrence (age 16), with ex-wife Chandie Yawn-Nelson, and his last two kiddos (three-year-old daughter Dylan Rose and newborn son) with current wife Samantha Cope.

While Lawrence and Cope briefly separated after Samantha filed for the divorce, the pair reconciled months later. And with the birth of their second child together, it looks like their romance is definitely back on track.

What is Joey Lawrence’s new baby’s name?

The Melissa & Joey actor revealed his newborn’s name in a recent Instagram post—Ford Jospeph Lawrence. He captioned the carousel, “Our newest member has arrived. What an absolute blessing you are baby boy! It will be an Easter Weekend to remember forever. 4.6.26.”

View this post on Instagram

Along with details on the newborn’s name and his birthdate, Lawrence added sweet snapshots from the little guy’s first few days. The proud boy-dad started the post with a family portrait of himself, Cope, and Ford. He also included a heartfelt black-and-white image of Samantha immediately after giving birth to Ford. And yes, it appears she had a home water birth (based on the image).

Friends and a few notable celeb parents sent the family well-wishes on Instagram. Former Full House star Candace Cameron Burecommented, “Congratulations!” as did WWE’s Brie Garcia. Likewise, fans took to Instagram, sending their congrats to the couple on their kiddo with comments such as, “Congratulations on the birth of your new son, Ford. He’s so adorable. Looks just like Joey…I’m sure all the girls can’t wait to spoil him.” And with three big sisters, this is probably very true.

When did Joey Lawrence announce the pregnancy?

Lawrence first publicly shared the couple’s baby news on the Dancing With the Stars red carpet, pointing at his wife’s belly bump and telling Entertainment Tonight, “This is not planned. The pair later posted precious pics featuring Samantha’s growing belly and daughter Dylan Rose with the caption, “Can’t wait to meet you baby boy.” Of course, some fans had plenty to say about the actor finally having a son, “Can the world handle another Joey Lawrence!!! Guess we’re about to find out!”

This Is Officially the Best Credit Card for Retirees Who Love to Travel

Thu, 04/09/2026 - 1:36pm

If your retirement dreams include hitting the road, boarding a plane, or even sailing off into the sunset, you may be curious about whether a travel credit card is right for you. However, as you already know, a lot of things are different once you retire. So, those travel credit card offers you see all over the place may no longer be as good a fit now that you're entering the next chapter of your life.

Fortunately, a team of financial experts got together, reviewed a bunch of cards for NerdWallet, and compiled a list of the best travel credit cards for seniors. Of course, one cart in particular came out on top, making it the best pick for those who are looking to see the world in their golden years. Here's which one made the cut.

The Capital One Venture Rewards Card is the Best Travel Card for Seniors

The financial gurus at NerdWallet named the Capital One Venture Rewards Cardtheir number one pick for seniors due to how easy it is to use. In fact, the publication says that the simplicity of the card is what makes it such a great pick, not just because you'll have no trouble redeeming all the exciting perks that come along with the card, but also because the points and bonuses are easy to accrue.

Some of those perks include:

  • $250 bonus in your first year
  • 75,000 bonus miles after you spend $4,000 on qualifying purchases in the first three months
  • A low annual fee of $95

Related: Apparently, the Future of Social Security Isn't All Doom and Gloom

According to NerdWallet, you can earn double miles with this card, making it great for travelers on a fixed income looking to save every penny they can. Plus, you don't have to keep track of what you're earning or which categories you're spending in, which makes it easier to take advantage of the offers.

There is a Downside to the Travel Card

While the card may be the best one NerdWallet found for seniors, that doesn't mean there aren't downsides to be aware of. First of all, while the annual fee is low, it's still an added expense you'll have to budget for year after year. For retirees on a fixed income, that could become problematic if you're not anticipating it.

Secondly, the APR is 19.49-28.49 percent. While that's pretty standard for many cards these days, it does mean that you'll be accruing interest on those purchases that you don't pay off right away, which means everything you charge to your travel card will cost you a little bit more than if you had paid in full up front.

That said, all credit cards have pros and cons, and, as far as NerdWallet is concerned, the pros outweigh the cons for this travel credit card for seniors.

Nicole Kidman Is 'Forever Smokin' In Striking Form-fitting Dress At Apple TV Premiere

Thu, 04/09/2026 - 1:31pm

Nicole Kidman continues to stun in her post-divorce era.

The actress, who was in New York on Wednesday at the premiere of the Apple TV series, Margo's Got Money Troubles, took to Instagram showing off her look for the night: a body-hugging Schiaparelli dress with a contrasting black and white color scheme, and scale-like texture.

And fans couldn't get enough.

"Forever smokin'," one wrote.

"Damn @nicolekidman you are melting hearts and screens… you are gorgeous," another said.

"This post-divorce Kidman is soooo good," a third said, referencing her 2025 split from ex-husband Keith Urban. They finalized their divorce in January.

"Every time I see Nicole, I forget where I'm at for a second because I'm distracted by how beautiful she is," gushed another.

Comedian Chelsea Handler also chimed in and cheekily said, "Someone is having a good time."

Margo's Got Money Troubles, which debuts on Apple TV on April 15, also stars Elle Fanningand Michelle Pfieffer.

Following the news of her divorce Kidman has kept busy work numerous projects including TV series Scarpetta which premiered in March on Amazon Prime.

Kidman, who hasn't blatantly spoke about her separation from the country singer during press for both shows, broke her silence in an interview with Variety last month.

“I’m always going to be moving toward what’s good. What I’m grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward,” she said. “That’s that. Everything else I don’t discuss out of respect.”

At the same though, Kidman sparked dating rumors with Scarpetta co-star Simon Baker, who plays her husband in the series. The two have been longtime friends however after the actors were spotted holding hands at a premiere party for the show, it's been speculated that the two are an item.

As for Urban's thoughts on her apparent new fling, a source told Australian site Woman's Day that, "he’s in total shock that she would flaunt a new relationship so soon after their divorce."

These Are the 3 Worst Southern Cities for Retirement

Thu, 04/09/2026 - 1:28pm

You can't really think about relocating for retirement without thinking of the American South. And while Florida has long been a favorite spot for retirees looking to flee the colder weather up north in favor of warmer weather and sunshine, plenty of other states have become hot spots for retirees (I'm looking at you, Arizona).

Now, a new WalletHub report reviewed 182 cities, ranking them on factors like affordability, access to senior-friendly activities, and quality of life. And while it's no shock that Orlando ended up in the top spot, it was surprising to see which three Southern cities ranked the lowest. Here's what the report found.

🎬 SIGN UP for Parade’s Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬

Fort Smith, Arkansas Ranked 165 on the List

Arkansas has a lot going for it when it comes to retirement, including no tax on Social Security earnings. Not only that, but retirees can also deduct some of their other retirement earnings from their income when it comes time to file taxes, making the state a good choice for many.

However, Fort Smith ranked lower on the list of locations, thanks to factors such as access to health care (ranked 175th), access to senior-friendly activities (ranked 155th), and overall quality of life (ranked 149th).

Of course, that's not to say the city is all bad. Remember those tax perks for seniors? It's likely they contributed to the city ranking 49th on the affordability list.

Greensboro, North Carolina Ranked 160th on the List

North Carolina is a great spot for retirees who want the best of both worlds in retirement and would like to experience milder winters without giving up the changing seasons. However, Greensboro didn't rank very high on North Carolina's list of best retirement cities. In fact, it came in near the bottom of the list for overall quality of life, ranking 180th.

Similarly, the city came in at 133rd place for both access to healthcare and senior-friendly activities, which means those who decide to spend their golden years here may need to travel a distance to see their doctor and hang out with their friends. That being said, it may be worth the tradeoff since WalletHub ranked the city 51st when it came to affordability, which means you'll likely be able to splurge a bit on gas to get you out of town when you need to access those things.

Related: The 'Magic Number' For a Comfortable Retirement Just Increased—Are You Even Close?

Baltimore, Maryland Ranked 159th on the List

Those who prioritize filling their free time in retirement would do well in Baltimore, according to this list, which ranked it 57th for access to senior-friendly activities. That's likely because Baltimore is a pretty urban location, which makes it walkable, easy to reach by public transportation, and likely to have more of your fellow retirees to hang out with.

However, that's where the perks seem to end with this spot, since it ranked 134th in affordability, 112th in healthcare, and 176th in overall quality of life.

Of course, it's worth noting that WalletHub's metrics for what makes a good retirement location may not align with your personal preferences. So, it's important to consider exactly what you're looking for in your next hometown before you make a move, so you can ensure you end up somewhere you can easily fall in love with in retirement.

The Strange GLP-1 Side Effect Plaguing Patients Months After Starting

Thu, 04/09/2026 - 1:25pm

Though Ozempic received FDA approval in 2007, awareness and popularity of GLP-1s started surging in 2022. These days, weight loss drugs are more accessible. As more people begin to use them (and experience significant weight loss), the discussion around GLP-1 side effects has also heated up. Amid the chatter, weight loss specialists urge people to get the facts from reputable sources, which, let's be real, usually isn't TikTok.

"Misinformation spreads quickly, especially on social media and commonly causes unnecessary fear," says Dr. Richele Corrado, DO, an internal & obesity medicine physician at Revolution Medicine, Health & Fitness. "All medications have risks and benefits, and it is important to discuss those with a trusted clinician. Inaccurate information can prevent people from getting treatments that may significantly improve their health and quality of life."

Some GLP-1 side effects are well known—namely, gastrointestinal issues.

"While the most common side effects are gastrointestinal—such as nausea, vomiting and diarrhea—serious complications like pancreatitis and vision loss are much less frequent," says Dr. Mir Ali, MD, a bariatric surgeon and medical director of MemorialCare Surgical Weight Loss Center at Orange Coast Medical Center. "To minimize risks, medications are started at a low dose and increased gradually."

Related: Doctors Warn This ‘Cheaper’ Ozempic Alternative May Come With Risks

GLP-1s are considered safe and effective for people who have diabetes or are obese or overweight with another specific condition. Patients can lose an average of 15% of their body weight when taking once-weekly 2.4 mg doses of semaglutide.

"When prescribed and appropriately monitored, GLP-1 receptor agonists are generally considered safe and represent a transformative class of medications for the management of obesity and type 2 diabetes," says Dr. Peter Balazs, MD, FACOG, of Hormone and Weight Loss Doctors of NYC.

Still, understanding potential and less-discussed GLP-1 side effects can help you prepare physically and mentally. So, we asked physicians specializing in weight loss to discuss the strange GLP-1 side effect plaguing people months after starting. It's a hairy situation, but they offered some hopeful tips for managing the side effect if you experience it.

People are reporting hair loss months after starting GLP-1s like Ozempic and Wegovy, and doctors say it's a possible side effect. "Non-scarring hair loss is common with weight loss, whether you’re taking a GLP-1 receptor agonist or another obesity medication," Dr. Corrado explains.

She shares that the most likely explanation for this GLP-1 side effect is telogen effluvium, a condition that occurs when the body perceives rapid weight loss as a form of stress. As a result, the hair enters the telogen (shedding) phase.

"This typically begins about 2 to 4 months after weight loss starts and can lead to noticeable, diffuse shedding," Dr. Corrado reports.

Nutrition can play a critical role in hair loss (or maintenance). "Because these medications reduce appetite, some people may not get enough protein, iron or key vitamins needed for healthy hair growth," she explains.

However, Dr. Corrado points out that the process is temporary (good news!). "Once weight stabilizes and nutrition improves, hair regrowth usually begins, with most people recovering over about 6 to 9 months," she says.

Dr. Balazs notes that hair loss can occur while taking a GLP-1, but it's not inevitable. Some people won't have this side effect. Some research suggests that more rapid weight loss is more likely to trigger telogen effluvium (whether you're on a GLP-1 or not). Working closely with your care team can help you notice whether you're losing weight a bit too quickly.

"If the patient is consistently losing more than 2 pounds per week, I often discuss pausing the next dose escalation or, in some cases, temporarily reducing the dose to allow nutritional repletion to match metabolic demand," he says.

What To Do if You Experience Hair Loss on GLP-1s

Experiencing hair loss at any time, especially while taking a new medication, can feel jarring. But you can take steps to stop the shed.

  • Aim for gradual weight loss. You may go on semaglutide for weight-loss benefits, but slow and steady progress may help ward off shedding. Dr. Corrado generally aims for 0.5 to 1 pound of weight loss weekly to avoid placing additional stress on the body. "When weight loss happens too quickly, I also become concerned that patients may not be eating enough or getting adequate nutrition," she adds.
  • Reassure yourself. Dr. Corrado says this step is important. "This is usually temporary and related to weight loss, not the medication itself," she states. "Stressing more about the hair loss is potentially going to make things worse."
  • Optimize nutrition. Your appetite is reduced, but eating nourishing meals and snacks remains important on GLP-1s. "Make sure you’re getting enough protein and key nutrients like iron, vitamin D, B12 and zinc, since reduced appetite can lead to deficiencies that contribute to hair shedding," Dr. Corrado says.
  • Go easy on your hair. Your hair may need a gentle touch right now. "Gentle hair care and even working with a hairstylist can help manage the appearance of thinning while the hair cycle recovers," she says.
  • Topical intervention: "Patients may use 5% topical minoxidil once daily to accelerate the anagen re-entry phase," Dr. Balazs says.
  • Seek professional help. Dr. Corrado suggests talking to your care team if your hair loss is significant or persistent. Your doctor or dermatologist can check for nutrient deficiencies, thyroid issues or other concerns.

Dr. Balazs says it's possible to stop hair shedding by going off GLP-1. But Dr. Ali says you'll need to consider the risks of weight regain.

"However, GLP-1s will need to be used long-term for most patients, as obesity is a chronic disease and requires long-term treatment," he says.

Major Airline Hit With $255K FAA Penalty After Crew Members Were Allegedly Cleared To Fly—Despite Positive Drug Tests

Thu, 04/09/2026 - 1:24pm

A major U.S. airline is facing scrutiny after federal regulators proposed a hefty fine tied to a serious safety concern: allowing crew members who had tested positive for drugs or alcohol to return to duty without completing required safeguards. The incident has sparked renewed conversation about airline safety protocols and what passengers should know before boarding their next flight.

The Accusation and FAA Penalty

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has proposed a $255,000 civil penalty against American Airlines, alleging violations of strict drug and alcohol testing regulations. According to the agency, between 2019 and 2023, the airline allowed 12 flight attendants who had previously tested positive for substances, including alcohol, cocaine, amphetamines, and marijuana, to return to safety-sensitive duties without completing mandatory follow-up testing.

Under federal rules, airline employees in safety-critical roles, like pilots and flight attendants, must undergo random testing and, if they test positive, complete a structured return-to-duty process. This typically includes evaluation, treatment, and follow-up testing to ensure they are fit to perform their responsibilities safely.

The FAA alleges that these required steps were not fully followed in multiple cases, leading crew members to resume duties before regulators could verify their sobriety. The airline has responded by stating it is reviewing the allegations and emphasizing that safety remains its top priority.

It’s important to note that this is a proposed penalty, not a final ruling. Airlines have the opportunity to respond, contest, or settle such enforcement actions. Still, the situation highlights how seriously regulators treat compliance in an industry where safety margins are non-negotiable.

Why This Matters for Passengers

While incidents like this are rare, they understandably raise concerns. Aviation remains one of the most highly regulated industries in the world, and strict protocols are designed specifically to prevent impaired individuals from performing safety-sensitive tasks.

The FAA requires ongoing random testing of airline staff, and violations can lead to fines, suspensions, or even loss of certification. In most cases, these systems work effectively, catching issues early and ensuring corrective action is taken.

However, when procedures aren’t followed correctly, even administrative lapses can undermine public trust. That’s why enforcement actions like this are made public: they serve as both accountability and deterrence.

What to Do If You Suspect a Crew Member Is Impaired

For travelers, the idea of an impaired flight attendant or crew member can be unsettling, but there are clear steps you can take if something feels off.

  • First, trust your instincts. Signs of impairment might include slurred speech, unsteady movement, confusion, or unusual behavior that seems inconsistent with professional conduct. Keep in mind, though, that fatigue or stress can sometimes mimic these signs, especially during long travel days.
  • If you do have concerns, notify another crew member immediately. Flight attendants are trained to handle safety issues, including reporting concerns about colleagues. You can also discreetly inform the gate agent before boarding or request to speak with a supervisor.
  • Avoid confrontation. It’s not a passenger’s role to directly accuse or challenge a crew member. Raising concerns through proper channels ensures the situation is handled safely and appropriately.
  • In more serious situations, especially if a flight hasn’t yet departed, you can ask to speak with the captain or request to deplane. Airlines take passenger safety reports seriously, and it’s better to raise a concern than stay silent.
The Bigger Picture

This incident involving American Airlines is a reminder that aviation safety depends not just on rules, but on strict adherence to them. While the system is designed with multiple layers of protection, compliance gaps can still occur, and when they do, regulators step in.

At the end of the day, flying remains extraordinarily safe. But stories like this highlight an important truth: maintaining that safety requires constant vigilance, from airlines, regulators, and yes, even passengers.

Rihanna's Adorable 6-Month-Old Daughter Makes a Fashionable First Public Appearance

Thu, 04/09/2026 - 1:23pm

Ever since Rihanna and partner A$AP Rocky touched down in Paris this week, the singer and cosmetics mogul has been seen in some fun and fashionable looks, such as a yellow-and-red "Dior by Bram Stoker" Dracula saddlebag, and a few days later, a Dracula tote bag.

But it was daughter Rocki Irish, born Sept. 13, 2025, who stole the spotlight in her own head-to-toe Dior outfit.

Page Six shared photos of RiRi cradling Rocki, who was calmly nuzzled up against her mom's shoulder, while they were out in Paris.

See the photo here.

The adorable baby was wearing jeans, a grey-and-white pleated dress, and the cutest vintage bonnet ever. The green-and-black knit hat was first created 24 years ago, when John Galliano was the creative director. Along with tassels with pom poms, pom poms lined the top of the hat, creating a mohawk effect.

Clearly, the Fenty Beauty creator and rapper are happily bestowing their kids with their own love of Dior. When Rihanna appeared at the Smurfs red carpet premiere in July 2025, her sons RZA, 2, and Riot, 1, were dressed in custom Dior. Both wore tiny versions of outfits seen at Jonathan Anderson's first Dior menswear show in June 2025. RZA wore a light pink shirt and army green cargo pants, along with a slightly darker pink tie. Riot wore an army green tweed blazer and voluminous white pants.

While Rihanna opted to wear a black satin-and-lace Saint Laurent gown instead of a Dior one, she wore a green bow tied around her waist to match her sons'. She accessorized with a black leather jacket and sunglasses.

Several stars have been seen in Paris this week, including Beyoncé and Jay Z, as well as Pharrell. Beyoncé is co-chair of this year's Met Gala, so it's possible that she's in town to prepare her look. It's unknown why Rihanna, Rocky, and their kids are there, but they've been spotted everywhere except Los Angeles since their home was shot up on March 8. While none of the family was hurt, the police confirmed to the Los Angeles Times that one of the bullets penetrated the walls of the mansion.

'Little House on the Prairie' Star Sends Bold Message About Reboot Series

Thu, 04/09/2026 - 1:22pm

Little House on the Prairie star Linwood Boomer—who played Mary Ingalls' (Melissa Sue Anderson) husband, Adam Kendall—just sent a bold message about the upcoming Netflix reboot series.

During an interview with Collider published on April 6, Boomer, 70, shared his thoughts on the reimagining of the historical drama series that originally aired from 1974 to 1983.

"I'm all for it," he declared. Boomer also pointed out that the reboot will more accurately reflect the tone of the book series written by Laura Ingalls Wilder and edited by her daughter, Rose Wilder.

"I know the world of it is completely different. It's much closer to the books," he explained. "Michael Landon just had that thing of that family and then just ran with it. It was a great thing for what it was, but it wasn't what the books were, which was a little bit grimmer of a life."

Landon wrote, directed, and produced the original Little House on the Prairie in addition to starring as Charles "Pa" Ingalls.

Boomer continued, "To me, I think it's much more appropriate now because I think people understand that vocabulary, that things can sort of be grim and really tough, and you can still have that loving family in that situation, and it still works."

Boomer's thoughts on the Little House on the Prairie reboot series were a bit different from what Michael Landon's son said about it.

“I wouldn’t touch that series myself,” Michael Landon Jr. admitted in July 2025. “Personally, I wish them the best of luck because it’s family entertainment, and it potentially could be great storytelling. But I personally loved what my father did. I know Leslie does too, and, yeah, I wouldn’t touch perfection.”

Michael Sr.'s other son, Christopher Landon, echoed these sentiments.

“I’m not one of those people who is slavishly protective of one version of something. But it’s a high bar,” Christopher told The Minnesota Star Tribune in April 2025. “My dad did it really, really well. These things are lightning in a bottle. It’s hard to recapture, but I’m rooting for them.”

The Little House on the Prairie reboot is set to premiere on Netflix on July 9. It stars Alice Halsey as Laura, Skywalker Hughes as Mary, Luke Bracey as Charles, and Crosby Fitzgerald as Caroline Ingalls, among others. Ahead of the premiere, the reboot was already renewed for Season 2.
