Monica Lewinsky, 52, Has a Red Carpet Glow-up After Speaking Candidly About Her Time in the White House

Wed, 04/01/2026 - 9:05am

Monica Lewinsky is experiencing a major glow-up on the red carpet, but she's opening up about her personal life, too.

The former White House intern, 52, who lived through one of the biggest scandals in American history when she became involved with President Bill Clinton, is currently the host of a podcast called Reclaiming with Monica Lewinsky. She's also gone on to become a successful anti-bullying advocate. But you might see the brunette beauty on a red carpet occasionally these days, because she's stepping out with a vengeance. Lewinsky hit the red carpet premiere of Hulu's The Testamentsthis week at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles, California. Dressed in black, the stunner made it clear she's aging like a fine wine.

What Did Lewinsky Say on The Jamie Kern Lima Show?

Earlier this month, Lewinsky sat down for an interview on the popular Jamie Kern Lima Show. During the interview, she spoke candidly about her experience through the Clinton scandal.

“You fell in love with your boss. Yours just happened to be the president of the United States and the most powerful man in the world,” Lima said, with Lewinsky chiming in, adding, “And married. They need to own that.”

Lewinsky compared the situation to the Salem Witch Trials, during which women were burned at the stake.

“You know, the same way that there were women tied to a post and burned at the stake and called a witch,” she said, Fox News noted. “It was not a physical burning, but a public burning, but an emotional burning.”

Why Didn’t Monica Lewinsky Change Her Name?

When asked why she simply didn’t change her name after the biggest period of the scandal blew over, Lewinsky shared that she did seriously think about making the change.

“Yeah. And I… thought about it,” Lewinsky responded. “We discussed it many times in my family. And when I was sitting to write a resume, I thought about it again.”

Ultimately, two things stopped her from making the official change.

“One was more effective life, and the other was something stronger in my soul,” Lewinsky shared, noting that her name was so widely known at that point that she didn’t think it would have made a real difference.

“I don’t know that actually would’ve been able to work,” she said, explaining that by the time the legal paperwork became recognized, “it would’ve been all over the newspapers.”

However, she also didn’t want to make the change.

“I shouldn’t have to change my name,” she said. “I regretted and felt a lot of shame about many choices I’d made in my life… but I wasn’t ashamed of who I was as a person.”

Anna Faris Teases Upcoming 'Scary Movie' Sequel: 'It Is All Nostalgia' (Exclusive)

Wed, 04/01/2026 - 9:00am

Actress and producer Anna Faris has several projects and plans currently in the works, from the upcoming latest installment in the Scary Movie franchise to a very unexpected (and absolutely hilarious) recent appearance at an LA Clippers game.

Although Faris is known for her iconic role as Cindy Campbell in the Scary Movie franchise, which has been going for more than 25 years, the star explained that seeing herself as funny wasn't immediate.

"It is only recently that I've embraced a role of comedy," Faris explained. "I've always approached characters with sincerity, you know? I knew that it was funny if I was really scared in a ridiculous moment."

Faris went on, "They're outlandish, but they're sincere. My characters, they do mean what they say even though it makes no sense and it's ridiculous. There's conviction, and that in and of itself is absurd and delightful to play."

Faris also shared that, while shooting Scary Movie, she asked director Keenen Ivory Wayans about his decision to cast her, and his response, though surprising, underscores what Faris enjoys about roles like Cindy.

"I asked Keenan Ivory Wayans why he cast me, and he said, 'Because you had no idea what you were doing,' and, yeah, it's been a lot to chew on, that phrase, that sentence, but I do really love to subtly challenge an audience," Faris said.

"I think that the landscape has changed, and I love to give a lot of credit to [Bridesmaids] and to us as an audience," Faris added. "I'm really appreciative that I've been able to play the characters that I've been able to play and that people seem to really like them...I just feel very fortunate."

About the upcoming Scary Movie, Scary Movie 6, Faris shared, "For me, it is all nostalgia. I was really close to tears during so much of the filming because it felt so good, and it felt so surreal to be back with the Wayans brothers, this time having a better understanding of who I was in the world. Not a complete understanding but getting there...it's a lifelong journey."

Faris also recently went undercover as the Candy Crush Saga's Bubblegum Troll at an LA Clippers Game, hyping up the crowd as the mascot before unmasking herself mid-court in front of the crowd.

Candy Crush takes over Intuit Dome with Anna Faris during LA clippers game.

The Candy Crush's arena takeover at the Intuit Dome took place on March 31 and featured several Candy Crush Saga character appearances, interactive surprises and fan rewards.

About her surprise appearance during the takeover, Faris said, "When Candy Crush asked me to personify Bubblegum Troll and bring joy and interactive play to the Clippers game, how could I refuse? It's been this incredible time in my life where I've got Scary Movie coming out. This feeling of bringing fun and humor and positivity in this time just feels great for me. I'm feeling so fortunate."

The appearance was also a natural fit because of her genuine interest in the game. Faris explained, "I'm so happy to get to bring so much fun energy to the stadium, the game, and it couldn't be a better fit because I also love playing Candy Crush. I've been a puzzler. I enjoy crossword puzzles. I enjoy any kind of puzzle, game, so when I'm waiting for my kid, I'm always playing Candy Crush. So, to get to actually enter the world of a game that I love; how fun is that?"

"I'm just thrilled," Faris added. "I went from spending my early 20s and some of my 30s feeling like I am not a comedic actress because I had never done comedy before Scary Movie, and the feeling of, like, 'Oh my gosh, I get the honor of bringing people together to laugh' feels so good."

Wed, 04/01/2026 - 9:00am

Nicole Scherzinger’s spotlight continues to shine bright, whether it's a chart-topping hit or now on magazine covers.

The Pussycat Dolls member is the most recent celebrity to grace the cover of Vogue Greece for the April 2026 issue.

In celebration of the magazine's seventh anniversary, the 2000s pop star embodied confidence and empowerment in perfect harmony with its theme of sensuality, “reclaiming life’s greatest pleasures and desires in an age shaped by algorithms.”

To mark the special milestone, Scherzinger shared highlights from her Vogue Greece cover on Instagram along with a heartfelt message that reflected on her journey and the excitement of this moment.

The post featured the “Buttons” hitmaker slaying the shoot while radiating poise, strength, and elegance and showcasing her jaw-dropping physique through graceful movements.

The 47-year-old also reflected on her journey and pride in herself as she called this experience a “dream come true.”

“BRAVE NICOLE: My very first VOGUE COVER, and this is the title!? I am humbled and anyone who knows me knows I don’t pat myself on the back often or ever, but I can finally say I am so proud of little Nicole. There was a time when my friends would Photoshop ‘VOGUE’ onto my pictures just so we could imagine and pretend. But now it is surreal to see this dream fully realized!” the caption reads.

Lastly, she also thanked the amazing and “brilliant” people and the team who made the shoot possible.

“Thank you @michael_philouze for your vision and for bringing all this together. It was a dream come true to work with the brilliant @paolakudacki @mmxxartists... You fed the inner warrior in me. And thank you @cosmopoliti for making me feel truly seen, I am forever grateful for your words,” she added.

The comment section was filled with congratulatory messages from fans and fellow celebrities, all praising her latest achievement and celebrating her long-awaited Vogue milestone.

“Gorgeous!!” TV host and actress Jenny McCarthy said.

“Incredible!! So happy for you,” one wrote.

“Love everything about this,” a follower added.

“The most brave. This is what hard work paid off looks like,” an Instagram user echoed, highlighting the singer-actress’ dedication.

The same goes for another who said: “AHH, LITTLE NICOLE'S DREAMS COME TRUE ONCE AGAIN.”

It can be recalled that Scherzinger had a long-held vision about winning Tony Awards.

In 2025, she earned her first-ever Tony Award after taking home Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical for her portrayal of Norma Desmond in the Broadway revival of Sunset Boulevard.

In addition, her Vogue cover also came after the Pussycat Dolls announced their 2026 reunion tour.

OG members Kimberly Wyatt and Ashley Roberts, alongside Scherzinger, will be embarking on a North American tour starting this June in California and will be visiting major states like Missouri, Arizona, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana and more before wrapping up in Dallas, Texas, on Aug. 1.

The pop girl group and dance ensemble is also set to kick off their European tour in Copenhagen on Sept. 9, continuing with a series of shows in the U.K. starting in Birmingham on Sept. 29 before concluding the run in London on Oct.13.

‘Chicago Med’s Oliver Platt Teases Devastating Dr. Charles Episode: 'The Worst Day of His Life' (Exclusive)

Wed, 04/01/2026 - 9:00am

Life hasn’t been easy for Dr. Daniel Charles (Oliver Platt) ever since Chicago Med got a new showrunner. Allen MacDonald has had the OG character face many struggles in his two years at the helm of the medical drama, including the death of Dr. Charles’ mother, the loss of his psychiatrist, a new younger doctor who is technologically inclined challenging him, and the realization that his daughter Annabelle (Hannah Riley) attempted suicide, so he’s not the father he thought he was.

On tonight’s “The Book of Charles” episode, the look into Dr. Charles delves deeper as the shrink grapples with his own mental health in one of the worst days of his life following a harrowing experience working the suicide prevention line.

“When I got the job a couple of years ago, I watched the entire show, and I was drawn to Dr. Charles,” MacDonald tells Parade of how the episode came to be. “He was so good at his job and so on top of s--t and so intuitive about human nature and being able to read people that I always feel when someone is really exceptionally talented at something, they were pushed to become exceptional by some kind of trauma. I don’t know if that’s always true, but at least dramatically it is.”

With that in mind, MacDonald decided to explore why Dr. Charles is the way that he is. What was the event in his life that propelled him forward. And what he came up with was the suicide death of his father and having to live with a mother who was not always kind. So, MacDonald began laying the groundwork in Season 10, which comes to fruition in tonight’s “The Book of Charles” episode, and continues into next week’s “Altered States.”

“The legacy of suicide was something that we started focusing on a little more last season, culminating in the season finale where Charles’ daughter Anna ran her car into a tree,” MacDonald continues. “She says it was an accident, but Charles has a sense that there’s more to it than that and believes she attempted suicide. He gets her to open up and finally admit it by telling his story of when he found his father dead in a car from exhaust fumes in the garage. That allowed Anna to open up, that allowed for her healing to begin, and to not feel any shame because Charles points out that it’s a family legacy.”

For Platt, who says that his idea of the perfect job in show business is a part that you really like in an ensemble, which Chicago Med normally is, the idea of tackling these two scripts where the focus was his character was a bit daunting.

“Even though I knew this was coming, I read it and said, ‘Oh, my God, look at all of these lines that I have to memorize. I’ve got to be there every day at 5 a.m.? What’s going on here?’” Platt tells Parade. “But really the intensity of this story and it being the worst day of his life that culminated in a really unfortunate event, at first I was like, ‘What the hell have I gotten myself into?’ But basically, I was just so excited and thrilled. It was fun as hell, what can I tell you? I haven’t had to get up every day at 5 a.m. for, what was it? It was like two and a half weeks or something.”

Chicago Med airs Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. Streams next day on Peacock.

'Malcolm in the Middle' Cast Name 'Rollerskates' As Their Favorite Episode in the Series: 'It's Memorable For A Lot of Reasons'

Wed, 04/01/2026 - 8:54am

We're only a few short days away from the return of TV's rowdiest fictional family with Malcolm in the Middle's revival series on Hulu.

As viewers count down the days until the release of Malcolm in the Middle: Life's Still Unfair on the streaming platform this coming April 10, most fans are fondly revisiting episodes of the 2000s-era sitcom series ahead of time.

Interestingly, the show's original cast themselves similarly went back to rewatch certain episodes of Malcolm in the Middle, reflecting on some of their favorite moments from the Emmy-winning TV show.

In a new video shared on YouTube, Frankie Muniz, Jane Kaczmarek, Bryan Cranston, Christopher Masterson, Emy Coligado and Justin Berfield all set down in the living room set of their TV home to enjoy some beloved moments from Malcolm in the Middle's past.

As they discussed some of the show's most famous scenes, the cast went so far as to point to a cherished episode from Malcolm in the Middle's first season as their personal favorite episode in the series.

According to the new video, several of the show's cast listed season 1's "Rollerskates" as their favorite episode in the show.

"I think the 'Rollerskates' episode is actually I would say one of my favorite episodes," Muniz said.

"Is it?" Cranston asked. "Why was that your favorite?"

"Obviously, it was first season...," Muniz began by saying.

"I think it's memorable for a lot of people too because that's one episode that a lot of people say to me that they remember," Berfield chimed in.

"It's the only thing I actually kept from the show, I have the roller skates from the 'Rollerskates' episode," Muniz said.

"I've got mine too," Cranston similarly revealed before joking, "We should pull them out and just skate around."

All four episodes of Malcolm in the Middle: Life's Still Unfair will premiere on April 10.

Rock Legend Teases Major Tour Extension

Wed, 04/01/2026 - 8:28am

Green Day fans may want to start paying attention, because Billie Joe Armstrong just teased a major tour update.

In a recent Instagram Live, frontman Billie Joe Armstrong hinted that the band’s Saviors Tour isn’t over just yet. In fact, he appeared to tease an international extension, shouting, "Germany, we’re coming to burn it down again!"

While the official Green Day website has yet to confirm any additional dates, that hasn’t stopped fans from jumping into speculation mode. If confirmed, the shows would mark the band’s first full run in Germany since the release of their latest album, Saviors, which dropped last year.

The record introduced newer tracks like "The American Dream Is Killing Me," while continuing to showcase the band’s signature mix of punk energy and sharp commentary.

For longtime fans, the potential return is especially meaningful. Green Day’s live shows have long been known for blending nostalgia with high-energy performances, bringing together classic hits that defined a generation alongside newer material.

For now, nothing has been officially announced, but fans are more than ready. And if Armstrong's teaser is any clue, things could get loud very soon.

On This Day in 1963, 'General Hospital' Officially Debuts on ABC

Wed, 04/01/2026 - 8:25am

Every genre of television has a specific program attached to it that most people instantly think of.

Just as viewers tend to quickly remember The Simpsonswhen they hear the words "adult animated TV show" or The Twilight Zone for "sci-fi fantasy horror series," most audience members might instantly think of General Hospital when thinking about the most famous soap operas currently on television.

The longest-running daytime serial program on TV today, General Hospital officially celebrates its historic anniversary this April 1, marking 63 long years of romance, betrayals and other tantalizing secrets inside the fictional community of Port Charles, New York.

In its earliest inception, General Hospital focused on the lives and careers of Port Charles' General Hospital, a bustling medical facility in upstate New York. Over time, the program began to focus more and more on the series' various adjacent properties and businesses, including the first-rate hotel, approachable diner and shady waterfront populated by various criminal figures.

Debuting on ABC back on April 1, 1963, General Hospital was created by husband-and-wife screenwriting duo Frank and Doris Hursley, quickly becoming their most successful TV series together after their earlier work on Have Gun, Will Travel and Search for Tomorrow.

Spanning over 15,000 episodes and dozens of recognizable cast members, including John Stamos, Demi Moore, Eva Longoria, Ricky Martin, Mark Hamill and Elizabeth Taylor, among many others.

Today, General Hospital holds the record for the most Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Drama Series, having won a total of 14 since the series began in the early 1960s.

In addition to being listed as one of Time magazine's "100 Best TV Shows of All-Time," it also remains one of the last mainstream soap operas still in production at ABC, following the cancellation of One Life to Live and All My Children in the early 2010s.

‘Love on the Spectrum’: Who Gets Engaged in Season 4?

Wed, 04/01/2026 - 8:23am

Multiple couples returned for Love on the Spectrum Season 4. Netflix viewers previously watched the cast members date for the first time. Now they're ready for the next steps in their relationship.

The season's trailer showed James Jones holding hands with Shelley Wolfe in front of a chapel. Then there was someone opening a ring box to reveal an engagement ring. But who popped the question?

Spoiler for Love on the Spectrum Season 4 finale!

Are Madison and Tyler of Love on the Spectrum Still Together? Tyler and Madison on 'Love on the Spectrum'

Netflix

James, 36, looked for homes in Boston with Shelley this season. But he didn't propose to her. They weren't the only couple who were ready to move.

Madison Marilla moved from her home to Plant City, FL, to be closer to Tyler White seven months after their relationship started. They enjoyed their first Valentine's Day date this season with a McDonald's dinner, and Tyler serenaded her.

"I wonder if the question's gonna be popped," Madison, 28, said to herself. "The question's gonna be popped." However, Tyler, 28 didn't propose on that date.

They celebrated their anniversary in episode 6 by going to the Sunken Gardens, which was their first date. The couple had a "Christmas in July" set up on the wedding lawn. Tyler wrote her a letter.

"Dearest Madison, I knew in my heart when I met you that I found someone special, unique, and precious," Madison read. "With this being our one-year anniversary, I would like to give you a gift to express to just how much you mean to me. From the moment I met you, I knew I had met my person. And I don't want to wait another moment to let the world know just how I feel. We can call it Christmas in July from now until forever."

Tyler got down on one knee, and she said yes. They both cried with happiness. Season 4 ended with their engagement party, and multiple cast members of Love on the Spectrum attended. Hopefully, we will see their wedding planning and big day next season.

Love on the Spectrum Season 4 is now available on Netflix.

10,000 Pins Later, Taylor Swift Ousts Vanessa Hudgens as the Queen of Coachella

Wed, 04/01/2026 - 8:15am

The Indio dust is swirling. The secret guest rumors about Miss Piggy taking the stage are circulating online. It’s the usual lead up to the iconic festival. But while the headliners fight for the stage, a coup just happened in the search bar.

For over a decade, Vanessa Hudgens held the Coachella Valley in a fringe-covered chokehold. She was the patron saint of the flower crown. The undisputed queen of everything festival chic.

That era is over. There’s a new name at the top of the heap. And she didn't even have to pick up a microphone to get there.

SeatPick just dropped the numbers. Taylor Swift officially evicted the resident landlord. With 10,650 Pinterest pins and boards dedicated to her style, she bypassed the boho veterans. It’s a surprise, as Swift hasn’t played a major festival set since 2019.

The obsession started with a 2024 appearance. She was in the crowd, not on the stage. She wore a black pleated skirt. She had a leather jacket. And she topped it with a grey New Heights cap.

It looked like something Swift pulled out of a dryer after a long flight. It was human. That one backward hat, likely swiped from Travis Kelce’s podcast studio, single-handedly nuked the flower crown.

Then came the late 2025 Showgirl rollout. Suddenly, the mesh-back trucker hat was official canon. Specifically, that bug hat from her merch line. It’s a white staple that signaled the end of her starlet in a beanie phase. She wasn't trying to be anything other than a fan who couldn't be bothered to do her hair in 100-degree heat. That’s why Pinterest went nuclear. It’s replicable.

Hudgens isn’t disappearing, she still pulled over 3,000 saves, but that Queen of Coachella energy moved on. People seem to be bored of the polished aesthetic. And nobody wants to wear a $2,000 beige sweater to a dust bowl. Emma Roberts, the ingenue with the effortless vintage wardrobe,  takes the second spot with 6,403 pins. Sabrina Carpenter, hyper-feminine, glittery antidote to the muddy boots of years past, follows with 3,856 pins.

Fans who thought we were done with the mid-2010 flower crowns are wrong, though. Trend analyst Louisa Rogers says the 2026 mood is a direct descent into the Tumblr archives. "Forget Y2K, this year's festivals are going to be all about the mid-2010s. The girlies will be delving deep into their Tumblr archives and reviving the trends that defined a pivotal moment for a culture on the cusp of social media saturation. The Real Reason Why 'Survivor 50' Is Being Interrupted Tonight

Wed, 04/01/2026 - 8:11am

Survivor fans experienced the ultimate blindside when they found out that Season 50 has already reached the merge. While we have already gone through five episodes of the thirteen-episode season, given the historic size of the cast, there are still 17 all-star players left in the game. But viewers in the Eastern and Central time zones will be experiencing another unprecedented surprise during tonight's airing, as the extra-long episode will take a pause halfway through its two-hour runtime.

The reason why comes not from Fiji, but Washington, D.C. On March 31, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced that President Donald Trump would be doing an "address to the nation" the next evening. The speech is set to run at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT, smack dab in the middle of primetime programming, including Survivor.

"CBS News will air a Special Report for President Donald J Trump's live primetime address to the nation from the White House, Wednesday, April 1, at 9 p.m., ET. CBS News' Tony Dokoupil will anchor the coverage," a statement from the network said.

It continued, "The special two-hour Survivor episode (starting at 8 p.m., ET/PT) will resume where it left off immediately following the president's address for Eastern and Central Time Zone viewers on the CBS Television Network and air in its entirety. Check your local listings for more details."

While incredibly rare to have an episode get pre-empted in the middle of its airing, this is actually a repeat of a relatively recent experience. On Dec. 17, during the three-hour Survivor 49 finale, the show similarly had to pause due to a presidential address. After approximately 20 minutes, the episode picked up where it left off, culminating in the crowning of Savannah Louie as the reigning Sole Survivor.

In the aforementioned statement, CBS outlined the tentative schedule for the evening. Once again, President Trump's speech is scheduled to run approximately 20 minutes. Whenever it concludes, Survivor 50 will resume, and is now set to finish airing an hour later (most likely around 10:20 ET/9:20 CT).

It should be noted that the statement only addresses the Eastern and Central time zones. Those on Pacific time will be able to watch the finale without pause, as Trump's address is happening at 6:00 p.m. PT. As was the case with the Season 49 finale, those who are watching live internationally (such in Canada) will also be pausing down at that time, with the network most likely screening a rerun of an unrelated show.

Through five episodes, Survivor 50 has lauded praise from the fandom. The Feb. 25 premiere became the show's most-watched in four years, with some heralding it as one of the best openers Survivor has ever seen. Most recently, two out of the three tribes were sent off to vote. Angelina Keeley could not survive the loss of her David vs. Goliath bestie, Mike White, sending her out unanimously. And, in a battle of bad blood between Charlie Davis and Rizo Velovic, the "RizGod" reigned supreme, as the Season 46 runner-up was blindsided.

Tonight's extra-large merge isn't coming without its own twists and turns, however. Indeed, Jeff Probst has teased in multiple promos that the players will be facing a game-changing twist loosely referred to as a "blood moon." It's currently unknown what this historic turn entails, though peeking at photos and videos reveals it will involve the players being divided up into three groups once again. And, given the vast amount of castaways left — and the scarcity of episodes — it's assumed we'll once again get multiple people getting their torch snuffed.

Anything that happens beyond that is outside our realm of knowledge. All we know is, Eastern and Central fans will get a brief break from what should be some pulse-pounding merge action. And, hopefully, it's worth pausing for.

Disney's New Class of Legends is a Total Love Letter to Our Favorite Childhood Memories

Wed, 04/01/2026 - 8:10am

If you’ve ever found yourself defending your love of The Princess Diaries as an adult or humming along to "We Don’t Talk About Bruno" for the thousandth time, Disney’s latest announcement is the ultimate nostalgia trip for your heart.

The company just revealed its 2026 Disney Legends class—the highest honor bestowed by the House of Mouse—and it’s a star-studded roster that feels like a family reunion of our favorite eras.

This August at the D23 event in Anaheim, Ryan Seacrest will return to host a ceremony that officially inducts everyone from Anne Hathaway and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson to the Jonas Brothers and Lin-Manuel Miranda into the history books.

View this post on Instagram

What makes this particular class so special for the Parade crowd is the sheer breadth of the "Disney DNA" represented. We aren't just talking about actors; we’re celebrating the visionaries who built the worlds we visit on vacation.

Take Kim Irvine, for example. As a legendary Imagineer, she is effectively the "face" of Madame Leota in the Haunted Mansion (taking over the role from her mother, fellow Legend Leota Toombs). Seeing her honored alongside modern heavyweights like Alan Tudyk—the man who has voiced basically every quirky Disney character for a decade—reminds us that the magic is a cross-generational craft.

The inclusion of Anne Hathaway feels like a particularly poignant full-circle moment for those of us who remember her 2001 debut as the clumsy-but-royal Mia Thermopolis. Her induction alongside The Jonas Brothers (who practically lived on the Disney Channel during the late 2000s) cements 2026 as the year of "Millennial Nostalgia." Of course, it wouldn't be a Disney celebration without a nod to the music that defines the parks, making Lin-Manuel Miranda's induction a total no-brainer after his world-dominating work on Moana and Encanto.

While the ceremony itself takes place at the Honda Center on August 16, you don't actually have to fight the Anaheim crowds to see it. Disney has confirmed the entire event will stream on Disney+, allowing us to watch the tributes from the comfort of our own couches.

Whether you're a lifelong fan of Chris Berman’s iconic ESPN "BOOM!" or you’ve spent your life admiring Eric Goldberg’s legendary animation, this class of Legends is a powerful reminder that Disney’s greatest "attraction" has always been the people behind the curtain.

Cruises are having a major moment in 2026, and Costco Travel is making them even more appealing. One of the top deals right now includes a Disney Cruise Line sailing with a bonus $150 digital Costco Shop Card.

While $150 might not sound huge at first, it’s essentially free money you can use at Costco after your trip. Plus, Disney cruises are known for their all-in-one value, combining accommodations, dining, entertainment, and activities into one package. For families especially, this deal offers both convenience and added savings.

5. St. Lucia Luxury Packages With Added Value

If you’re looking for something truly unforgettable, St. Lucia might be the best deal of all. Costco Travel is currently offering promotional packages at resorts like Anse Chastanet and Jade Mountain, with perks including resort credits, daily meals, and digital shop cards.

These packages lean toward the luxury end of the spectrum, but the included extras, like full meal plans and added credits, help offset the higher price point. St. Lucia’s dramatic landscapes, volcanic beaches, and lush scenery make it one of the most unique destinations in the Caribbean.

Why These Deals Stand Out

What makes Costco Travel different from booking on your own is the added value. Many of these packages include extras that would normally cost hundreds of dollars, like resort credits, breakfasts, and transportation perks.

Another advantage is simplicity. Instead of booking flights, hotels, and activities separately, these bundles streamline the entire process. That’s especially helpful for busy travelers or those planning more complex trips.

Booking April Travel Deals

If you’re thinking about booking one of these deals, timing is everything. Many of these “Hot Buys” come with strict booking deadlines, some ending as early as mid-April.

It’s also worth noting that availability can change quickly, especially for popular destinations like Hawaii and the Caribbean. Booking early gives you the best chance at securing your preferred dates and maximizing value.

If you’ve been waiting for the right time to book your next trip, this might be it.

Carbone Teases an Unexpected Coffee Creamer Collab—But Is It Real?

Wed, 04/01/2026 - 8:02am

Carbone Fine Foods is teaming up with Califia Farms—yes, the cult-favorite creamer brand—for what is undoubtedly a truly unexpected April Fools' Daycollaboration.

Every year, brands attempt to outshine one another in an unofficial competition for the most outrageous April Fools' Day posts. This year, some companies got a head start, teasing head-turning drops like Butterfinger-inspired Top Ramen and Keebler cookies-flavored toothpaste. Although they certainly make for eye-catching headlines, nothing could have prepared us for what Carbone and Califia Farms spent the last however many weeks cooking up.

While some April Fools' Day pranks of the past have actually been made into legitimate products due to fan demand (most recently, the Dr. Pepper Tic Tacs), we're not so sure that Carbone's Spicy Vodka x Califia Farms Almond Milk Creamer will meet the same fate. That said, the collaboration certainly could inspire your future meal plans (just hear us out).

Carbone and Califia Farms Team Up on Spicy Vodka Almond Creamer

On Wednesday, the iconic jarred sauce brand (inspired by the upscale Italian restaurant of the same name) joked that it transformed its cult-favorite Spicy Vodka jarred sauce recipe into a limited-edition creamer that blends Califia’s almond milk with notes of tomato, Calabrian chili, vodka, and sea salt for a "rich, subtly spicy" addition to your coffee or dirty soda.

Related: Califia Farms Adds 2 Smooth New Coffee Creamer Flavors to Its Permanent Lineup

The company further described the launch as a playful nod to "the fact that the original sauce always calls for cream" and also the "growing interest in savory flavor profiles and unexpected twists on everyday staples."

Carbone Fine Foods Teases Spicy Vodka Almond Creamer from Califia Farms. Is the Spicy Vodka Sauce-Flavored Coffee Creamer Real?

According to an official statement shared in an email with Parade, no, the Carbone Spicy Vodka Sauce-inspired coffee creamer flavor is not real and it will not be available for consumers to purchase in stores that carry the everyday or seasonal Califia Farms products.

While we don't ever see a reality where tomato-based coffee creamer becomes the next big thing, we could see this fake product inspire real-deal future drops like dairy-free Carbone-branded Alfredo, Mac & Cheese, or Vodka sauces, should fans make it clear that they'd support the releases.

But what's even more likely is that after reading this, you're probably thinking, "Wow, vodka sauce with a kick sounds so good for dinner tonight," or "This just made me remember I'm out of coffee creamer," and if either of those scenarios applies, you're in luck. Jars of Carbone Spicy Vodka sauce are available at local grocery stores and major retailers, including Walmart and Whole Foods, across the country. Multipacks can also be purchased directly from the Carbone Fine Foods website in varieties of two ($23.99) or four ($39.96). Califia Farms oat and almond-based creamers, along with the brand's plant milks, are also available at grocery stores and most big-name retailers nationwide (prices may vary).

Calling it the "flavor everyone is hooked on," Baskin-Robbins revealed on Wednesday that its viral Dubai Chocolate-inspired menu is making a huge comeback this spring.

Baskin-Robbins Launches Limited-Edition Dubai Chocolate Collection

Baskin-Robbins' Dubai Chocolate ice cream collection first debuted just in time for Thanksgiving 2025, following the debut of its equally popular Pumpkin Spice Cappy. At the time, reviewers called it "beautiful" and said it was so good they didn't want to share it.

This Is Hands-Down the Best Type of Exercise for Healthy Aging, a Cleveland Clinic Doctor Says

Wed, 04/01/2026 - 8:00am

You probably have a vision of how you want to spend your golden years, whether it’s traveling the world or spending as much time as you can with your kids and grandkids. Certainly, no one envisions their future being spent in pain, experiencing cardiovascular problems or losing their memory.

One of the most powerful ways to support your entire body as you get older, including your brain, is through exercise. According to a study published in JAMA Network Open, people who live an active lifestyle have a 29 to 36% lower risk of all-cause mortality than inactive people. Scientific research has repeatedly shown that the more active you are, the healthier you are likely to be in old age.

This includes lowering the risk of dementia. According to a 2021 scientific study published in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, frequent exercise was found to reduce the risk for dementia as quickly as between six and eight weeks. On top of that, researchers found that even light to moderate physical activity helped lower the risk of dementia.

But the question is, what type of exercise is best? While all types of physical activity are beneficial, is there one that has the maximum benefits? We talked to a Cleveland Clinic doctor specializing in physical activity to find out.

The Best Exercise for Healthy Aging, According to a Cleveland Clinic Doctor

Maskot/Getty Images

It bears repeating that all forms of physical activity are beneficial, but when asked what type of exercise was the very best for healthy aging, Dr. Geraldine Dapul, MD, a physiatrist and rehabilitation doctor at Cleveland Clinic, who also works at Cleveland Clinic’s Neurologic Institute, says that the best is a combination of aerobic activity and resistance training.

“The combination of both regular aerobic exercise and resistance training or strength training has been shown in scientific studies to help preserve or improve cognition and cardiovascular health, especially in older adults,” Dr. Dapul tells Parade.

A 2023 scientific study published in Experimental Gerontology backs this up, saying that aerobic exercise is the most well-known and effective intervention to prevent and treat the effects of aging on the cardiovascular system. This is especially noteworthy when you consider that heart disease is the leading cause of death in the U.S.

Related: 'I'm a Longevity Expert—These Are the Vitamins That Actually Work for Healthy Aging (and the Ones I Skip)'

Dr. Dapul says that aerobic exercise also slows how quickly the brain ages. She explains that even if someone already has dementia, regular aerobic exercise can slow how quickly it progresses. Scientific research agrees, showing that 30 minutes of aerobic exercise three times a week contributed to improved cognitive function for people with Alzheimer’s disease. That’s how powerful aerobic exercise can be!

As for resistance training, Dr. Dapul says the benefits extend beyond strengthening muscles and bones, both of which decline with age. She says that resistance training or strength training also gets blood circulating, which benefits both cardiovascular health and brain health.

Scientific research shows that resistance training helps with balance, strength, flexibility and coordination in older adults. If you want to live independently in your old age and also reduce your risk of falling, regular resistance training is scientifically shown to help with both.

How To Be More Active—Including if Joint Pain Is Holding You Back

Science is abundantly clear that regular aerobic exercise and resistance training are crucial for healthy aging. How much do you have to do to benefit? Dr. Dapul says that any amount of movement is beneficial. If you currently don’t do any physical activity, she suggests aiming for 10 minutes of aerobic exercise and resistance training a day and gradually increase it over time, based on your ability.

This can look like going on a neighborhood walk followed by spending 10 minutes doing squats, push-ups, lunges and other bodyweight exercises. Once you’re able, she says the American Heart Association’s guidelines of getting 150 minutes of physical activity a week (about 21 minutes a day) is a good goal to aim for, adding that this can be broken up into small increments throughout the day and doesn’t have to be done all at once.

If joint pain is preventing you from being active, Dr. Dapul first recommends talking with your doctor or a physical therapist about how you can safely exercise without making your pain worse. In general, she says that water aerobics is a great form of exercise for people with joint pain. Additionally, chair exercises are another gentle form of movement to consider.

“If you have pain, remember that you don’t have to do a full 30-minute exercise all at once. You can break it up into five- or 10-minute increments, which is another way to minimize pain,” she says. In fact, Dr. Dapul says that doing no form of exercise often makes joint pain worse. “If you don’t use it, you absolutely will lose it,” she says of joint ability.

You Don't Age Out of Exercise

According to Dr. Dapul, it’s never too late to reap the benefits of regular aerobic exercise and resistance training. “You don’t age out of exercise,” she says. If you currently live an inactive lifestyle, she suggests making exercise a social activity, which is one way of making it more fun as well as holding yourself accountable. This can look like taking a group fitness class or regularly meeting up with a friend for walks.

She also says that it’s important to find a form of exercise you actually like. Don’t force yourself to suffer through a jog on the treadmill if you would rather take a dance class, for example. You’re more likely to stick with a form of exercise long-term if you actually like it.

Remember, the more you move your body, the healthier you’ll be as you age. “Even just dancing around your house to your favorite song is beneficial,” Dr. Dapul says.

Don’t take your ability to move your body for granted. By prioritizing regular exercise today, you’ll be more likely to live out your golden years exactly how you want.

Travelers Are Being Warned That Severe April Weather May Cause Massive Flight Disruptions

Wed, 04/01/2026 - 7:48am

Spring travel always comes with a bit of unpredictability but April 2026 is shaping up to be especially volatile. From severe thunderstorms and tornadoes to late-season snow and flooding, weather patterns across the U.S. could have a major impact on travel plans this month.

A Stormy Start to Spring

April marks the heart of a severe weather season in the United States, and this year is no exception. Meteorologists are warning of multiple rounds of storms sweeping across large portions of the country, particularly from the Plains to the Midwest and into the Northeast.

Forecasts show a multi-day stretch of severe weather impacting regions from the central U.S. all the way to New England, with the greatest risks including tornadoes, damaging winds, large hail, and heavy rainfall.

In Texas and surrounding states, storms could bring intense conditions like large hail, flash flooding, and even tornadoes, some potentially strong. Meanwhile, states farther north, like Michigan, may face a rare mix of severe thunderstorms and lingering winter weather, including freezing rain. Even areas that don’t typically see early-season storms could feel the effects, making April a nationwide concern for travelers.

Why April Weather Is So Unpredictable

The reason behind this surge in severe weather comes down to clashing air masses. Warm, humid air from the Gulf of Mexico is colliding with cooler air moving in from the north and west, creating the perfect conditions for powerful storms.

This setup is especially common in April, which historically sees a sharp increase in tornado activity. In fact, the U.S. can experience hundreds of tornadoes during April and May alone.

On top of that, shifting climate patterns and lingering atmospheric instability from March are helping fuel repeated storm systems. Forecasters say the central U.S., particularly the eastern Plains and Mississippi Valley, will likely see multiple rounds of severe weather rather than isolated events.

In short, this isn’t just a one-off storm, it’s a pattern.

Where Travel Could Be Impacted Most

If you’re traveling in April, certain regions may face more disruptions than others:

  • Central U.S. (Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas): High risk for tornadoes, hail, and severe thunderstorms
  • Midwest (Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan): Storm systems combined with occasional cold snaps or ice
  • Southeast: Heavy rain and potential flooding, especially during stronger systems
  • Northeast and Mid-Atlantic: Storms may weaken but can still bring delays, wind, and rain

Air travel hubs in these regions could experience delays, cancellations, or ground stops due to rapidly changing conditions.

What This Means for Travelers

Severe weather doesn’t just stay local, it has a ripple effect across the entire travel system. A storm in Dallas or Chicago can delay flights nationwide, even if your destination has clear skies.

Airports are particularly vulnerable to thunderstorms, which can halt ground operations, delay departures, and cause missed connections. On the road, heavy rain and flooding can lead to dangerous driving conditions, while strong winds and hail pose additional risks.

And it’s not just storms, April can still bring winter surprises in some areas, especially in the northern U.S., adding another layer of unpredictability.

How to Travel Smart This Month

The good news: you don’t need to cancel your plans, you just need to be prepared.

  • Build in extra time: Arrive at the airport earlier than usual and avoid tight layovers, especially if you’re traveling through major hubs in storm-prone regions.
  • Monitor forecasts closely: Check weather updates daily leading up to your trip. Storm timing can shift quickly, and even a few hours can make a big difference.
  • Book flexible options: Choose flights, hotels, and rental cars with flexible cancellation or change policies whenever possible.
  • Have a backup plan: If you’re planning outdoor activities, especially in the Midwest or South, identify indoor alternatives in case of severe weather.
  • Stay alert during travel: Download airline apps and enable notifications so you’re immediately aware of delays or gate changes.

April is always a transitional weather month but in 2026, that transition is coming with heightened intensity. With repeated storm systems, a growing tornado threat, and the potential for flooding and travel disruptions, staying informed is more important than ever.
