These Bath & Body Works Finds Are Bringing Back ‘90s Kitchen Vibes in the Best Way
Imagine it: a Shania Twain song is playing in the background, you open a cabinet to grab some McCormick spices, and as you look around at your kitchen decorated with lemon accessories, you think to yourself, “I love living in the ‘90s.”
Maybe the scenario above is a little kitschy (or inaccurate, as your kitchen was all about apples, plaid roosters, or geese in blue bows instead), but the 1990s are having a moment right now. Amid the nostalgic wave, there is a concentrated push for the return of the country aesthetic that took over home decor 30 years ago, and Bath & Body Works is delivering on that in a way that fans say is “so cute.”
While social media buzz when it comes to Bath & Body Works typically focuses on the brand’s body care and home fragrance, a new line of candle holders has caught the eye of fans, with two in particular turning heads.

There’s a round, white pedestal shaped like a vase with juicy red tomatoes on the vine all around it, topped with a burnt orange gingham pattern around the top edge that fans say they need to get. “Ah, I see the 90s kitchen vibe is back,” said one Reddit user as another agreed, writing, “Yes! This is very 90s lol. Looks like something my Mom would have had in the kitchen at the time. I love it.” “This is 90’s mom kitchen chic,” said a third.
More agreed, with some saying that instead of using it for candles, they could see themselves using it for culinary purposes. “I adore it, but it would end up holding a jar of pasta sauce or salsa in my kitchen,” said one, prompting another Redditor to reply, “Waittt that’s such a cute idea to use it for that! Now I want it even more.”

View this post on InstagramAnother Bath & Body Works accessory that’s getting attention leans further into the ‘90s chicken kitchen look, with a literal bird candle holder. The white ceramic rooster has dark yellow flowers all around its base, with Redditors suggesting it if “cozy whimsical kitchen is your thing.” “So cute for a kitchen and it’s not cheap plastic,” said another Reddit user, while over on the official Bath & Body Works Instagram account, commenters couldn’t get enough of the “so cute” design.
“I need this,” said one commenter as another enthusiastically declared, “I got mine and I LOVEEE it!” Other sentiments included commenters that wrote, “I love roosters this is so cute,” and teased, “I’m never going to save money. Now you know I need this.”

Fan-Favorite Author Colleen Hoover Issues 'Incredibly Sad' PSA: 'People Suck'
New York Times Bestselling author Colleen Hoover is issuing an "incredibly sad" PSA after realizing one of her readers fell for a major scam using her name.
The fan-favorite romance author took to social media earlier this week with a lengthy warning to her followers, revealing that a con artist had impersonated her online and tricked an aspiring author into handing over their own manuscript—presumably to profit off of.
In an email thread with the It Ends With Us author's actual address and "a slightly different version" of that contact information, the budding writer "attached their entire book that they spent a year writing," because they had believed they were speaking with Hoover for the last several months and that she had requested to review it.
"But any minute now, that manuscript is probably going to be uploaded under a fake name and put out into the world for sale," she lamented. "This author spent a year writing this book and now they've shared it with a scammer and there's nothing I can do for them. There's nothing they can do to prevent it."
The Author Warned Fans to Scrutinize All Correspondence With a Keen EyeHoover went on to beg her followers to "be very suspicious," assuring them that she'll never "randomly email people [she doesn't] know."
She continued, "This type of scam is incredibly sad because you think you're communicating with someone who wants to read your work, but instead you're handing over your entire manuscript for someone else to steal and publish and do what they want with...Be suspicious. People suck."
It's unfortunately far from the first time fans have been swindled by faux celebrities. Kate Beckinsale was also forced to speak out after a catfish tricked one of her fans into thinking they were dating, while General Hospital star Steve Burton's likeness was used in a series of convincing AI videos that tricked one fan into forking over more than $80,000. And, of course, brands have deepfaked celebrity endorsements, too, like a clip of Al Rokerpromoting a supplement for hypertension and one of Tom Hankspushing "some dental plan" that he actually had nothing to do with.
Her Followers Were Grateful for the 'Great Reminder'Unfortunately, scammers and con artists are ruthless, and don't care who gets hurt in the process of them raking in a bit of "easy" cash. It was a "heartbreaking" reality check for the author's followers, who called the incident an "absolute nightmare."
"Oh this makes me so mad for them," one vented. "Currently working on my first and this is scary 😱."
"As someone working on their first novel, THANK YOU for sharing this!" another praised. "I’d like to hope this would never happen to me, but honestly you really can never be too careful about who you trust and this is a great reminder of that."

Lancôme Scrapped Influencers for Cardiac Surgeons: The End of the Aesthetic Era
The days of buying a product because an influencer looked radiant in a TikTok ad are over: Lancôme just killed them. The brand recently dropped Absolue Longevity MD, and it aims to bring the science lab to your skincare routine.
Skincare has grown past anti-aging. That’s a term for people who still use landlines. The new science is focused on biological age. Lancôme new product starts with a machine called Cell BioPrint, developed with a tech firm in Korea. The machine doesn't care about the year on your driver’s license. It’s looking for the receipts, the five specific markers that prove exactly how much sleep you’ve skipped and how many hours you’ve spent in the sun. A digital check up that turns your face into a data set.
Once the computer stops judging your late nights and sun damage, it provides out what the brand calls a personalized longevity protocol. It’s data-heavy. It’s clinical. But mostly, it’s a way to stop spending money on products that don't actually do anything for your specific cell health.
For this rollout, Lancôme didn’t ask for a dermatologist's approval. They recruited a cardiac surgeon and an anesthesiologist. Real Housewives of Dallas star Dr. Tiffany Moon was recruited because she knows what a body looks like when it's under local anesthesia and high stress. "With this collaboration, I look forward to sharing my belief that our skin, our human body’s largest visible organ, is a living mirror for our inner health and relationship with ourselves,” Moon said in a statement.
Moon is joined by Dr. David Luu, a cardiac surgeon who looks at skin through the lens of a Longevity Architect and Dr. Gabrielle Lyon, a physician who treats muscle as the foundation of health.
The new system is constructed around Mitopure. If you’re a longevity nerd, you’ve heard of it. It’s a version of Urolithin-A, a molecule that helps your mitochondria, otherwise known as the engines in your cells, stay efficient. Think of your mitochondria as the battery life on an old iPhone. After a while, the cells don't hold a charge like they used to. Mitopure aims to be the high-speed charging cable for your cells, trying to keep the power from dipping into the red. Normally taken in pill form. Lancôme partnered with Swiss biotech firm Timeline to put it in a topical cream.
Vania Lacascade, Lancôme’s Global Brand President, is calling this a bridge between the lab and your life. In plain English? They’re betting that in 2026, consumers are done with mystery ingredients. They want the clinical data and science that backs up the claims.
A New Non-Stop Train Directly to Miami's Cruise Port Could Be in the Works
If you’ve ever found yourself white-knuckling a steering wheel while trying to cross the bridge into PortMiami on a busy Saturday, you know that the "Cruise Capital of the World" has a major congestion problem.
With a record-breaking 8.5 million passengers moving through the port in 2025—and that number expected to nearly triple by 2050—Miami-Dade officials are finally looking at a smart investment for the city's infrastructure: a direct, non-stop train link between Miami International Airport (MIA) and the cruise terminals, according to Cruise Critic.
According to a recent feasibility study from the Miami-Dade Transportation Planning Organization, the county is weighing two main options to bridge the gap.
Related: 6 Biggest Cruise Trends Travelers Are Following in 2026
View this post on InstagramThe first is a nine-mile extension of the existing Metromover system. While this is the "easier" fix because it could potentially use existing bridge infrastructure, the cars are relatively small, holding only about 50 people at a time.
The more robust second option is a 10-mile expansion of the Metrorail, which would require a brand-new bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway but would offer the high-capacity, "one-seat ride" that travelers actually want.
The math on why this matters for your wallet is simple. Right now, getting from the airport to your ship usually means a $30 to $50 rideshare bill, and that’s before surge pricing kicks in on a heavy embarkation day.
A direct train would likely cost just a few dollars, mirroring the current $2.25 Metrorail fare. More importantly, it removes the "traffic variable" entirely. We’ve all seen those stressed-out travelers ditching their Ubers and walking across the Port Boulevard bridge with their luggage just to avoid missing their boarding window; a dedicated rail line would make that a thing of the past.
Related: Seasoned Cruisers Are Issuing a ‘Final Warning’ to Same-Day Flyers
While it's never advisable to fly in the day of a cruise—this new train could make it a little easier to not miss one in case you do.
Of course, this is a massive undertaking with a price tag estimated between $600 million and $800 million. While the 2050 Long Range Transportation Plan is the current guiding document, the sheer volume of passengers—hitting a single-day record of over 75,000 recently—is pushing officials to look for solutions sooner rather than later.
For those of us who head to Florida every few months for a "quickie" weekend cruise, a non-stop connection would turn a stressful transfer into a seamless part of the vacation experience.
The 4-Ingredient Trick To Make Canned Crescent Rolls 10x Better
Homemade pretzels sound great in theory, but in reality, they can feel like a big project. Between yeast, rising time and shaping dough, it’s not exactly something most people decide to make on a whim. I live in "pretzel country," and we can get them on just about every corner and in every variety, so making them at home isn't really something I have given much thought to, but I recently saw a shortcut version on social media, shared by content creator @alfskitchen, and it was so simple, I knew I had to give it a try.
The best part is that this pretzel-making hack uses ingredients I always have on hand (hello, canned crescent rolls!), and I could make them in less than 30 minutes, which is faster than leaving the house to buy some. Plus, it cost about $4 for eight pretzels, which is a lot cheaper than buying them.
The process couldn’t have been simpler, and both the prep and cleanup were super easy. This is the kind of snack that works for just about anything—game day, after-school snacks or a last-minute appetizer when you want something warm and salty without much effort, and (spoiler alert) my kids loved them! That alone makes them worth making again.

Ingredients Needed for Crescent Roll Pretzel BitesYou’ll need refrigerated crescent roll dough, baking soda, water and salt. That’s the base.
From there, you can keep it simple or dress them up with butter, garlic, cinnamon sugar or dipping sauces like mustard or cheese.

Why Crescent Roll Dough Works for Pretzel BitesCrescent roll dough is already enriched and soft, which makes it easy to shape and bake quickly. While it doesn’t have the chew of traditional pretzel dough on its own, the baking soda bath changes that.
@alfskitchenDid you know you could do this?! It’s a simple food hack using canned croissants and they taste amazing! Flavor of a pretzel with the flaky texture of a croissant! These were great, and next I’m trying it with homemade croissants! Ingredients: • 1 can of larger @Pillsbury crescent rolls • 6 cups of water • 4 tsp baking soda • Flaky salt Instructions: 1. Unwrap and roll up your crescent rolls just like you would if you bake them normally. I set them aside for proof a bit, but that’s optional! 2. Bring 6 cups of water to a boil, and then toss is 4 tsp of baking soda and mix. Cut off the heat and grab the rolls. 3. Carefully place each roll in for about 60 seconds, removing with a slotted spoon and transferring to a parchment paper lined baking sheet. I also recommend lightly dusting it with flour! Keep in mind the rolls will be very soft at this point! 4. Bake in a preheated 400°F oven for 20-22 minutes, or until browned. Try this out! :) #foodhack #recipehack #recipe #pretzelrolls #pretzels #croissant #crescentrolls #pretzelcroissant #food #foodie #foryou #fyp

How To Make Pretzel Bites With Crescent RollsSeparate the crescent roll dough and roll it like normal. Bring a pot of water to a boil and add baking soda. Carefully drop the dough pieces into the water and boil briefly.
Courtesy Angel Albring
Then, remove them and place on a baking sheet. You can do one at a time or all together, as long as you move quickly. Keep in mind that the dough may seem a little slimy when you remove it from the water, and that's totally normal. It will still bake as expected.
Sprinkle with salt (as much or as little as you like) and bake until golden brown (about 20 minutes at 400°) and that's it!

The baking soda bath raises the dough’s pH level, which encourages browning and creates a chewier crust. This is the same principle used in classic soft pretzels, just simplified.

My Honest ThoughtsThese were very good for how easy they are. The texture was closer to a soft pretzel than I expected, and they disappeared fast. This is one of those recipes that feels almost too simple, but it delivers exactly what it promises.
If you want pretzel bites without committing to a full baking project, this is absolutely worth making. It won't replace my weekly pretzel stops, but it will be a regular appetizer or snack in my house.

Final TakeawaysDon’t overboil the dough or it will fall apart. Just a quick dip is enough.
For a sweet version, leave off the salt and toss the baked bites in melted butter and cinnamon sugar.
This is a great base recipe, and once you try it, you’ll probably start finding excuses to make it again. I want to cut them into smaller pieces and dip them in a cream cheese dip.

Nathan Fillion Reunites With 'Castle' Costar Molly C. Quinn in Sweet Birthday Photo: 'It's Been Forever'
Nathan Fillion recently rang in 55 with a sweet reunion with one of his beloved Castle co-stars, leaving fans of the long-running procedural feeling awfully nostalgic.
The Firefly alum took to social media earlier this week to mark the special occasion, sharing a sweet snapshot with Molly C. Quinn, who played Alexis Castle on the long-running ABC series.
The actor rocked a thick mustache—which has him looking a little less like himself and a lot more like Tom Selleck these days—and a pair of black, wire-framed glasses as he leaned down to rest his cheek against the younger actress' forehead, while she smiled giddily at the camera.
In the caption, Fillion mused on spending his birthday surrounded by "an outpouring of love and kindness," sharing how "easy" it's become for him to reflect on his life. "Honestly, I’ve never been happier," he gushed. "Thank you, to everyone who has played a part in my journey. Thank you for the lessons I’ve gleaned, for the support I’ve enjoyed, and for letting me be a part of your journey, in turn. Thank you to all of you out there, for you all play a role in this life. And I’m thrilled to say, this life is shiny."
View this post on InstagramHis former on-screen daughter shared the love in the comments, spamming him with a series of emojis: "❤️🎂❤️🎂❤️🎂❤️🎂❤️🎂❤️."
Current and former collaborators also gushed over the actor on his big day, with The Rookie colleaguesJenna Dewan writing, "Happy birthday…!! You are so loved!" and Flula replying with a German birthday greeting: "Alles Gute Nathan!"
Felicia Day sent warm wishes, too, writing, "Happy birthday🎁🎊🥳❤️❤️❤️."
Fans also relished in the mini reunion, manifesting one with the whole cast in the future.
"A castle reunion would go craaaazy😂😂," one wrote, though they realized you "can’t do it all."
"It's been forever since I've seen Alexis with Richard Castle!!!" another reminisced. "I miss that show so much."
"Happy birthday, Nathan! You two had such amazing father/daughter chemistry," someone else wrote, while another agreed that they were the "Coolest dad/daughter duo around!"
Quinn appeared in two prior seasons of The Rookie as Oscar's daughter Ashley, while his former NYPD detective friends Jon Huertas and Seamus Dever have also each appeared in an episode of his latest hit series.

Why Red Bull Fans Are Furious This Cult-Favorite Flavor Is Back
Red Bull fans are vocal about the energy drink, regularly taking to social media to share what they like and don’t like about the brand’s rotating selection of flavors.
When the Winter 2025 flavor launched, fans were ecstatic over the news, celebrating the taste of Fuji Apple & Ginger, and begging the brand to make it permanent. Some even went so far as to go on Reddit to write that they “need them in my life as long as possible,” calling it the “best ever” and revealing that they were going to be “so sad” once the limited-edition release was placed back in the vault.
Though some speculated that the flavor could return as the “sunset edition,” a nod to the red-and-yellow ombre artwork on the can, unfortunately for fans in the United States, that hasn’t happened yet. And perhaps that’s why they are so angry after finding out that some international customers will be able to get it permanently.

Though reactions from UK users were mixed, with many asking for the blueberry flavor instead, American fans were quick to decry the launch, writing, “Come back to America,” “Just got pumped fake bc I thought this was USA,” and “this flavor is my favorite, the US misses it already!”
Others used the comments section as a suggestion box, writing, “make it permanent in the us PLEASE,” and “Bring this back to USA please.” One commenter asked, “What about USA,” while another went the all caps route and posted, “CAN WE HAVE THIS IN THE US PLEASEEEEEEEEEE.”

The new Cherry Sakura Spring Edition features flavor notes of cherry, cherry blossom, and almond, and is available now in both regular and sugar-free versions.

1976 Live Performance Ranked Among the ‘Top Classic Rock Songs’ of all Time Remains a Timeless Anthem 50 Years Later
In 1976, Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band released a live version of the 1973 song “Turn the Page.” The single, from the album Live Bullet, featured a haunting saxophone intro and a raw vocal performance, and it helped solidify the legendary rocker status on mainstream classic rock radio. "Turn the Page" stood the test of time and remains one of Seger’s most popular songs 50 years later.
In 2025, Ultimate Classic Rock ranked “Turn the Page” at No. 22 on its list of the Top 100 Classic Rock Songs of all time. The outlet noted that the powerful track, recorded at Detroit’s Cobo Hall, does “a remarkable job summing up the grueling and lonely realities of the day-to-day life of a musician on the road in the early '70s.”
Bob Seger wrote ‘Turn the Page’ on the road“Turn the page” is a timeless road trip anthem, so it’s fitting that it was started on the road.
In a 1994 interview with Music Connection, Seger noted that he rarely wrote songs while on tour. “I hardly ever wrote on the road,” he shared. “I was more of a field general, and there wasn't a whole lot of time for writing on the road back then. The only two songs that I can think of that I wrote on the road are ‘Turn The Page’ and ‘Night Moves,’ but those were basically cases of getting an outline of verses over three-hour periods. The songs weren't totally finished until I had a week or two off the road to really knuckle down on them.”
RELATED: 1978’s Biggest No. 1 Hit Song Was Written in Ten Minutes
Seger didn’t want to make a live albumSeger’s live ode to the road was recorded at a time when he didn’t even want to record a live album. But on the heels of his successful Beautiful Loser album, the singer knew he had to release something in a timely manner.
“I was really opposed to a live album, but frankly, I just couldn't finish the new record,” he told Rolling Stone in a 1976 interview, per UCR. "We just couldn't wait any longer or we'd lose all of the momentum from 'Beautiful Loser.' We weren't even getting gigs 'cause we were so cold.”
The live version of “Turn the Page” became a standout on the album and a concert mainstay.
Seger loved a hard rock cover version of ‘Turn the Page’More than 20 years after Seger’s classic was recorded, Metallica recorded a hard-rocking version of “Turn the Page.” The 1998 recording was the first single from the band’s album Garage Inc.
During a 2023 appearance on The Howard Stern Show, drummer Lars Ulrich said he knew Seger’s song would be a good fit for Metallica singer James Hetfield.
“I was driving across the Golden Gate Bridge up in San Francisco and I heard the live version of 'Turn the Page,' and I could just hear James singing that,” Ulrich recalled. “The first thing that popped out was just James would f---ing nail this vocally and just the lyric element, I think it felt like it would speak on his behalf and to the situation that we were in and there was just something about the vocals.”
Seger approved Metallica’s rendition of his song. In an interview posted by Artisan News Service, the rock legend said, "I loved it. They told me they were gonna do it, and I loved it. I really like the drums, especially because our drums are really simple and (they did) a cool take on it.”

Apple Turns 50 Today: The $1,300 Garage Bet That Became a $3 Trillion Empire
Fifty years ago today, two guys named Steve signed a piece of paper and changed everything.
On April 1, 1976, Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and a lesser-known third partner named Ronald Wayne founded Apple Computer Company as a partnership. The date, April Fools' Day, was either cosmic irony or perfect strategy, depending on how you look at it. Nobody in the world would have bet serious money on what came next.
Wozniak was a 26-year-old engineering intern at Hewlett-Packard when he presented his computer design to his employer. The company expressed no interest. So he turned to a former high school classmate instead. Jobs was 21 years old. Their initial idea was simply to assemble computers for their friends. They had no real sense they were about to upend an entire industry.
To finance the venture, Jobs sold his Volkswagen Bus and Wozniak sold his HP-65 calculator, together earning roughly $1,300. Operations started in Jobs's bedroom and later moved to the garage. Wayne, who held a 10% stake, cashed out less than two weeks after the company's founding for just $800. It remains one of the most expensive decisions in Silicon Valley history.
The Apple I, designed entirely by Wozniak, was not the sleek, sealed device we associate with Apple today. It was sold without a monitor, keyboard, or casing. It was priced at $666.66. Wozniak later said he was unaware of any sinister connotation in the number, he simply liked repeating digits. About 200 units sold. It was a start.

The real turning point came in 1977 with the Apple II. It revolutionized the computer industry with the introduction of the first-ever color graphics, and sales jumped from $7.8 million in 1978 to $117 million in 1980, the year Apple went public. The IPO minted a generation of millionaires overnight and put the company on the map permanently.
What followed is a story most Americans know by heart. The Macintosh, Jobs's ouster, his return, the iMac, the iPod, the iPhone. Each product reset expectations for what a consumer device could be. The iPhone, introduced in 2007, became one of the world's most successful products. Jobs died in 2011, but the company he co-founded in a Los Altos garage kept going.
Today, the numbers are almost hard to process. Apple now has 2.5 billion active devices worldwide, iPhones, iPads, Macs, Watches, and more. Its market cap currently sits around $3.77 trillion, making it one of the two most valuable companies on the planet.
Not bad for a company that started with $1,300 and a spare bedroom.

This spring and summer, accessories are all about self-expression. Trends are leaning toward bold, unique pieces that feel personal and a little unexpected. Instead of blending in, it’s about choosing items that tell a story and spark conversation.
If you’re looking to add a few curated, maximalist pieces to your collection, the I.N.C. Color Crystal and Imitation Pearl Heart Drop Earrings are a stylish choice. Right now, they’re on sale for 70% off at Macy’s, bringing the price down from $40 to just $12.
I.N.C. Color Crystal and Imitation Pearl Heart Drop Earrings, $12 (was $40) at Macy’s Shop at Macy'sThese earrings feature a mix of glass crystals and imitation pearls, creating a layered, textured look. They have an approximate 1-inch drop and are set in gold-tone mixed metal. The post-back closure keeps them secure while still being easy to wear.
They strike a balance between bold and feminine. The mix of textures adds visual interest, while the heart shape keeps things soft and whimsical. Overall, they’re a true statement piece that can instantly elevate your look.
When it comes to styling, it’s best to let the earrings take center stage. Skip a necklace and keep the focus near your face so the look doesn’t feel overdone. There’s also a matching pin if you want to lean further into the theme.
Because they have so much personality, you can either lean into the whimsy or use them to elevate basics. They pair well with jeans and a button-down, but also look great with a puff-sleeve midi dress or a soft floral print. You can even wear them with a blazer and trousers for work, or style them with a linen dress or crochet set on vacation.
Shoppers praised this style, and it currently has a perfect rating. One reviewer called them “beautifully done,” adding, “They’re even more precious in person.” Another shared, “They are so cute and I love the heart shape!”

While the silhouette is the same, the silver and clear-crystal combination gives the earrings a more modern, slightly edgy feel.
The silver version works especially well with more laid-back and minimalist outfits. Think a black leather jacket over a simple T-shirt, a sleek slip dress, or even a sequined top for a night out. One shopper said they “brighten up any day,” adding, “These fun earrings are just right to make your outfit shine. I wore them all day for work and did just fine — they are very lightweight.”

This Cult-Favorite Airline is Finally Launching Europe Business Class Service—With Lie-Flat Beds
For the loyalty-obsessed traveler, Alaska Airlines has long been a smart buy for its high-value points and friendly West Coast vibe, but it’s always had one major limitation: you couldn't actually fly the airline across the ocean.
That changes this spring. Marking its five-year anniversary in the oneworld alliance, Alaska just unveiled its first-ever International Business Class, and it’s a total departure from the domestic first-class seats we’re used to.
Launching on brand-new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, the experience is centered around private, lie-flat suites. We aren't just talking about a deep recline; these are true flat beds with privacy doors and direct aisle access, placing Alaska in direct competition with the heavy hitters on the long-haul stage.

View this post on InstagramUnited Airlines is currently rolling out its "United Elevated" interior, featuring the new Polaris Studio suites—which are 25% larger than their standard pods—while JetBlue just announced a massive pivot of its own. Known for its cult-favorite Mint suites, JetBlue is now launching a dedicated domestic first-class product (often called "Junior Mint") across its entire fleet to bridge the gap for travelers who want a premium experience without the full transcontinental price tag.
By jumping into the long-haul market with a lie-flat product that mirrors these top-tier suites, Alaska is signaling that it’s no longer just a "West Coast alternative" but a legitimate global player.

The cabin is decked out with 18-inch HD screens, noise-reducing headsets and—perhaps most importantly for the modern traveler—wireless charging and Starlink Wi-Fi, which is scheduled to be free for T-Mobile customers and Atmos Rewards members starting this fall.
The culinary side of the flight feels like a love letter to the Pacific Northwest. The service kicks off with a elevated version of Alaska’s iconic fruit and cheese platter—now featuring a charcuterie board and Roederer Champagne—followed by a multi-course meal with up to six entrée choices.
Seattle’s own Chef Brady Ishiwata Williams has even designed a signature short rib dish for the menu. To top it off, there is a customizable Salt & Straw sundae cart, which might be the most "Alaska" way possible to cross the Atlantic.
This new level of luxury is timed with the airline's massive international expansion. Nonstop service from Seattle to Rome kicks off April 28, followed by London in May and Seoul and Tokyo later this year.
For those of us who have been hoarding Alaska miles for years, the ability to finally redeem them for a true lie-flat experience on Alaska’s own metal—complete with Filson bedding and Salt & Stone amenity kits—is the ultimate points-favorite upgrade. It’s a clear signal that the airline is ready to move beyond the West Coast and take its signature care to the global stage.

Dunkin’ Is Giving Away Free Coffee Today—Here’s How to Get It
Dunkin' is giving away free coffee today, and even though it's April Fools' Day, this isn't a joke.
The international coffee giant made a similar offer in 2025, announcing it was giving away one million free coffees on April 1, and, given what the holiday traditionally entails, some fans were convinced it was a prank. To their delight, it wasn't.
Dunkin' says it's going "even bolder" this year, giving away even more coffee than it did in past offers—but only while supplies last.
Dunkin' Is Giving Away Over 1 Million Free Coffees Today—And No, This Isn't a JokeOn Wednesday, April 1—a mere two weeks after Dunkin' unveiled a special ring box giveaway and Vera Wang collab—the company officially announced it would give away 1,000,001 free Hot or Iced Coffees of any size, excluding extra-large.

The big reveal, although meant to be a surprise, was accidentally leaked in the days leading up to today's announcement, and fans seemed to be just as excited about it this year (though some apparently remain unconvinced it's not a prank).
"Nice!" one Instagram user cheered in response to the leak.
"I’ll need a reminder on April 1st😂😂," another joked (consider this it).
Countless others jumped to try to use the code already, arguing that it had already "expired," clearly glossing over the part where the posts mentioned the code would only be available on April 1—jokes on them, we guess.
"Don’t be playing with my heart," someone else teased. "That code better work on April 1st 😂."
"Thats going to be gone in the first five seconds considering how many pages have posted it already," one more lamented.
But as the old saying goes, "the early bird gets the worm," and in this case, the prize is a free Dunkin' coffee.
How to Get Free Dunkin' Coffee for April Fools' DayFans interested in scoring a free cup of Joe from Dunkin' today must do more than just show up at the store. In fact, this offer is only valid for orders placed in the Dunkin' app, so you shouldn't even bother asking for it at the counter.

Customers also must be a Dunkin' Rewards member and use promo code STILLNOTAJOKE to redeem their free hot or iced coffee (not Cold Brew, Latte, Refresher, or tea) in any size (excluding Dunkin's XL). That said, once the coupon is redeemed in the app, it doesn't have to be used immediately. Rewards members have seven days to use it or lose it.

Quote of the Day: Psychologist Carl Jung on Self-Awareness and Understanding Others
Even if you’re not into psychology or the history of the scientific study, you’ve most likely heard of Carl Jung (or sometimes known by his full name, Carl Gustav Jung). He was a Swiss psychologist, psychiatrist and psychotherapist born in 1875 and died in 1961. Jung had an expansive career where he came up with psychological concepts and terms, and whose findings are still used in psychology today. So it’s no surprise that his words are Parade's quote of the day.
He notably founded the concept of analytical psychology, which deviated from his longtime collaborator Sigmund Freud’s psychoanalytic theory and placed greater emphasis on immediate conflicts rather than childhood traumas or issues, per Britannica. He developed concepts like extraverted vs. introverted personalities, archetypes, the collective unconscious and much more.
The famous psychologist looked at the different ways humans interacted with each other, how they interacted with their own environment and how dreams and the unconscious impacted people. In fact, he really let himself explore his dreams and where they might have come from, which helped him develop the theory of the collective unconscious, which was the part of the mind that held the ideas and aspects that led to strange or interesting dreams. This led to Jung looking at how the Christian religion impacted the consciousness and how the Hermetic tradition was important to fill in the gaps that Christianity couldn’t.
With that said, Jung’s quote of the day has to do with unconscious bias and projection onto others and understanding what that means about ourselves.

Quote of the Day by Carl JungCanvaPro/Parade
“Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves.”
This quote comes from Carl Jung’s semi-autobiographical book, Memories, Dreams, Reflections, which was first published posthumously in 1962 in German and then in English in 1963. Recorded and edited by Aniela Jaffé, an associate of his, the contents of this book include a combination of Jung’s lectures, conversations and writings. It tells his life story while also giving his psychological opinions and thoughts on many important topics.
The section where this quote can be found is in the 9th chapter, called “Travels,” where he has five parts about different places in the world: "North America," "America: The Pueblo Indian," "Kenya and Uganda," "India" and "Ravenna and Rome." This quote is in Part II, “AMERICA: THE PUEBLO INDIANS,” which comes from an unpublished manuscript, the book says.

Deeper Meaning of Carl Jung’s Quote: Biases, Self-Awareness and UnderstandingConsidering a lot of his most popular concepts have to do with the unconscious mind, it’s not a shock that this quote dives into biases, projecting our own experiences and feelings onto others and finding a better way to understand them.
Right before this sentence, Jung writes, “We always require an outside point to stand on, in order to apply the lever of criticism. This is especially so in psychology, where by the nature of the material we are much more subjectively involved than in any other science.”
We always have to have a starting point in terms of where our own opinions come from. Our morals, preconceived notions and knee-jerk reactions all come from what we’ve experienced before in our lives. Our biases—unconscious and otherwise—play such a major role in how we take in the world and other people.
Related: Psychologists Say High-Level Thinkers Avoid These 14 Common ‘Mental Mistakes’
He goes on to say that to understand how other nations see our own, we have to kind of put ourselves in their shoes. “... We must acquire sufficient knowledge of the foreign collective psyche, and in the course of this process of assimilation we encounter all those incompatibilities which constitute the national bias and the national peculiarity,” he writes.
Then comes the quote: “Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves.”
Jung then says that he understands England when he sees where he, a Swiss, doesn’t fit in, giving more examples as well. He writes that “there can be nothing more useful for a European than some time or another to look out at Europe from the top of a skyscraper.” You really can't get the full picture without taking a step back and looking at it from that distance, he's saying.
With all of that, Jung is saying that if at first someone annoys you, you probably are seeing them from only your perspective. And maybe this means you're projecting your own issues onto them, or you just aren't looking at why you're irritated from a bigger picture lens. Sure, someone could say something rude and absolutely mean it that way. But maybe that's not their intention, and they come from a place where those words aren’t rude or are common. Or maybe they’re doing something that bugs you, like how they blow their nose or eat their lunch. But just because it’s different than what you’re used to and what you know as “polite” or “normal,” may not be how it is for them.
If we get irritated with someone, it could be because of what we acknowledge as acceptable, with no leeway for difference. But for Jung to say that “everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves,” he means that it can show us what our limits are in accepting others and where our gaps in knowledge are. It might also teach us that we’re not super patient or lack other virtues that we can work on as well.
As the Society of Analytical Psychology (SAP) reported, Jung recognized four different functions—thinking, feeling, sensation and intuition—that people interact with when engaging with the world. Everyone’s primary function is different, and a lot of conflicts and misunderstandings come from differing functions butting heads. They see the world in different ways because of their primary function, and therefore project their inferior functions onto others, who might thrive with that function instead. They give an example of an intellectual looking down on a “sensual, sports-loving, sensation type.”
So, ultimately, we accept what we are comfortable with and don’t like that with which we're not as accustomed, potentially because we unconsciously see it as inferior. Not only can that teach us where our weaknesses are, but it can help us understand others who are different from us, and work on not projecting negative feelings onto them because of said dissimilarities.

Everything to Know About King Charles' US Visit: Itinerary, Prince Harry and More
Buckingham Palace announced King Charles and Queen Camilla will make a high-profile visit to the United States. This will be the first state visit by a British monarch since Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip in 2007.
“On advice of His Majesty’s Government, and at the invitation of the President of the United States, The King and Queen will undertake a State Visit to the United States of America,” the palace announced via Instagram on March 31. “Their Majesties’ programme will celebrate the historic connections and the modern bilateral relationship between the UK and the US, marking the 250th anniversary of American Independence.”

See all the details and what’s planned for the historic trip below.
When Is King Charles' US State Visit?President Donald Trump, who is known to be fond of the royal family, confirmed Charles and Camilla’s visit will take place from April 27 to 30, 2026.
"I look forward to spending time with the King, whom I greatly respect," Trump wrote on Truth Social after the palace’s announcement, PBS reported. "It will be TERRIFIC!"
Charles and Camilla’s trip follows Trump's second state visit to the U.K. in September 2025.

What Is the Purpose of Charles’ State Visit?Charles and Camilla are visiting to honor and commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
The monarch’s visit also comes amid growing tensions between the US and Great Britain. Trump has publicly butted heads with Prime Minister Keir Starmer over the country’s reluctance to get involved in the Iran war and its refusal to let the US use U.K. bases to launch initial attacks, per Reuters. Starmer, a former human rights attorney, has been outwardly critical of Trump’s attacks in the Middle East and pointed to climbing energy prices due to Iran’s closing of oil tanker traffic through the Strait of Hormuz.
Even as Charles and Camilla’s state visit was being announced, Trump singled out the U.K. on social media.
"All of those countries that can’t get jet fuel because of the Strait of Hormuz, like the United Kingdom, which refused to get involved in the decapitation of Iran, I have a suggestion for you: Number 1, buy from the U.S., we have plenty, and Number 2, build up some delayed courage, go to the Strait, and just TAKE IT," Trump wrote in a Truth Social post on March 31.
Starmer hopes Charles’ visit can help ease tensions. Prince William is also expected to visit the U.S. in the summer during the soccer World Cup.
Why Are There Calls to Cancel the Visit? In March, a growing number of U.K. lawmakers began questioning whether Charles should visit the US after Trump began insulting Britain, saying Starmer is “not Winston Churchill” and the country was no longer “the Rolls-Royce of allies.”
Labour member of parliament Emily Thornberry suggested on March 17 that the trip be delayed, saying, per CNN, “The last thing that we want to do is have His Majesty … embarrassed.”
Ed Davey, leader of the opposition Liberal Democrats, said on March 31 that Starmer had shown “a staggering lack of backbone” by allowing the state visit to go ahead, and it was a “sign of a government too weak to stand up to bullies.”
English journalist David Dimbleby called the visit “an acute embarrassment,” per The Guardian, and several online petitions have popped up urging the cancellation of the trip.
What Is on King Charles’ Itinerary?Charles’ full itinerary has not yet been shared, but Trump confirmed there would be a state banquet dinner at the White House on April 28.
Charles has visited the United States a total of 19 times, but this will be his first state visit to the country since becoming the reigning monarch. His mother, Queen Elizabeth II, made four state visits to the US during her 70-year reign.

After his and Camilla’s time in Washington, D.C., they will continue to Bermuda for Charles’ first Royal Visit as Monarch to a British Overseas Territory.
Will King Charles See Prince Harry?Charles and his youngest son, Prince Harry, are not expected to reunite during the monarch’s trip stateside, a source told People.

"When you’re talking about a state visit, every minute is accounted for — especially when it’s the King traveling as the invited guest of a head of state," the source said in an article published on March 31. "Harry knows how things are and wouldn’t ask for that either under these circumstances."
45 Years Ago, This 1980 Comedy Won Two Awards for Cinematic Failure
In 1981, a flashy disco musical became famous, but not for the reasons its creators hoped. The film Can't Stop the Music took home two of the very first Golden Raspberry Awards, winning Worst Picture and Worst Screenplay.
Today, 45 years later, it remains one of Hollywood’s most talked-about flops and a surprising cult favorite.
Released in June 1980, the movie tried to capture the magic of the disco era. Instead, it arrived just as disco music was fading fast. Critics were harsh, audiences stayed away, and the film quickly became a box office failure. But its legacy didn’t end there, it helped inspire the creation of the Razzies, an award show that still “honors” the worst films every year.
Directed by Nancy Walker, the film told a fictional story about how the disco group Village People came together. It starred Steve Guttenberg and Valerie Perrine and marked the film debut of Caitlyn Jenner.
The story follows a young songwriter trying to make it big in New York, with help from friends who form a singing group. Packed with musical numbers like “Y.M.C.A.” and “Milkshake,” the film aimed to be a fun, feel-good spectacle.
Producer Allan Carr had high hopes. He even described it as “Singing in the Rain for the disco crowd.” But by the time the movie hit theaters, disco was no longer popular. What was meant to feel fresh instead felt outdated.
Critics didn’t hold back. According to The New York Times, one review described the film as “thoroughly homogenized,” while others said the story lacked focus and energy. Even famous reviewers Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert named it among the worst films of the year.
Despite its big budget, estimated at around $20 million, the film earned only a fraction of that back. It became one of the most notable flops of its time and even contributed to the decline of its distributor.
But its failure had an unexpected impact. After watching the film alongside another poorly received musical, a viewer named John Wilson created a parody award show to call out bad movies, per Remind Magazine. That idea became the Golden Raspberry Awards.
At the very first ceremony in 1981, Can’t Stop the Music won two major titles, making history as one of the original Razzie winners.
Still, not everything about the film was a failure. Its soundtrack performed better than the movie itself, reaching the Top 10 in several countries and even hitting No. 1 in Australia. Over time, the film gained a new life as a “campy” favorite, something people enjoy for its over-the-top style and fun energy.
Today, the film is remembered as both a cautionary tale and a time capsule of the disco era. In Australia, it has even become a quirky New Year’s Eve tradition, showing just how far its reputation has come.
