It looks like a dainty teacup on a saucer, with simple white wax and a wick filling the cup. It's a super cute piece for just $8.99 each, and you can easily keep using it as decor long after the candle portion is gone.

MacKenzie-Childs doesn't have a teacup candle like this one, but they do have many Courtly Check candlesticks that resemble it. On average, these retail for $129.95, which is a whole lot more than Aldi's $8.99 option.

Your new Aldi candle may only be $8.99, but if you want to get the most bang for your buck, you still want to take care of it. First, let the candle melt all the way across on that first burn—this prevents tunneling and gives you an even, longer-lasting glow. Trim the wick to about a quarter inch before each use so the flame stays steady (and not smoky). Try burning it for a couple of hours at a time rather than short bursts.

Another major tip to keep in mind? Keep it away from drafts so it doesn't flicker wildly.

Aldi is leaning heavily into springtime right now, with pretty pastel tumblers and floral Dutch ovens. Looking for more utilitarian home finds? There's a 10-piece food storage kit that shoppers are snapping up, as well as an eight-piece set of serving bowls with matching lids.

Fans of Judas Priest are getting a rare and honest update from guitarist Richie Faulkner, who is opening up about the serious health crisis that changed his life and how he continues to push forward.

In a new interview with The Rock 'n' Blues Experience, Faulkner shared how his recovery journey has been shaped not just by surgeries and therapy, but by the support of his family. 

The 46-year-old musician survived a near-fatal aortic aneurysm and complete aortic dissection during a live performance in 2021, followed by a stroke that caused permanent brain damage. Despite these challenges, he continues to perform and record music.

“I think it's incredibly helpful. If your base is secure, you can build on that,” Faulkner said, speaking about the role of family in his recovery. “At the end of the day, that's your base and you can kind of retreat to that and everything's fine.”

The medical emergency happened onstage at the Louder Than Life festival in Kentucky. After the show, Faulkner underwent a 10-hour emergency surgery to replace parts of his aorta and heart valve. The procedure saved his life, but it marked the beginning of a long and difficult recovery.

Months later, he discovered he had suffered a stroke, initially thought to be a less severe condition, that left lasting damage to his brain. This has affected movement on the right side of his body, including his guitar-playing hand.

He admitted that he first noticed something was wrong during everyday tasks. Over time, it became clear the issue was more serious than expected. Still, Faulkner has worked through physical therapy and continues to perform at a high level.

His band, Judas Priest, was forced to postpone tour dates following the incident but later returned to the road. The group, known for decades of heavy metal success, has continued recording new material and planning tours.

Faulkner spoke warmly about his young daughter, Daisy Mae, whom he shares with Mariah Lynch.

“But [my daughter] doesn't know half of what went on [with my health]. We'll tell her one day. She knows surface-level stuff. But she's happy. She's smart, she's learning lots of new things,” he said. “Her life isn't affected by it as much as it could have been. So we are grateful for that.”

He also shared that Daisy is already showing a love for music and performing.

“She's a drummer, she's a singer. She loves it all,” Faulkner said. “She just started doing acting classes, so, yeah, we've got our hands full… coming home to that after a tour is a big relief.”

The guitarist explained that having a stable home life has helped him stay grounded during difficult moments. It has also given him a sense of purpose beyond the stage.

New Music and Moving Forward

Even after facing life-threatening health issues, Faulkner remains active in music. He continues to perform with Judas Priest and is also focused on his side project, Elegant Weapons.

The band is set to release its second album, Evolution, on April 24, 2026. The project features a global lineup of musicians and reflects Faulkner’s commitment to songwriting and collaboration.

Speaking about performing live, Faulkner emphasized its importance: “If you speak to 90, 95% of musicians, they say live is what it’s about… creating that connection with the songs and the people.”

He added that songwriting remains at the heart of his work. “The vocal, the melody and the message behind the song I always try to keep in mind. That’s the priority… not just a guitar solo.”

Despite lingering physical challenges, Faulkner continues to tour, record, and create new music. His determination shows how deeply he values both his craft and his connection with fans.

Tracy Chapman, the singer-songwriter known for her No. 1 self-titled debut album and the iconic hit "Fast Car," turns 63 on March 30.

Chapman was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and began playing guitar and writing songs at an early age, citing the country variety show Hee Haw as an inspiration.

"I started writing songs when I was about eight years old and I just have an idea, whether it's a lyric idea or music and I'm playing the guitar, practicing, and it all just comes together at the same time," Chapman said in an interview with NPR in 2009.

The singer-songwriter attended Tufts University, majoring in anthropology, and signed with Charles Koppelman of SBK Publishing in 1986. After graduation, Koppelman helped Chapman get a contract with Elektra Records, who released her critically-acclaimed debut album Tracy Chapman in 1988.

The record hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart on August 27, 1988, and is best known for its lead single, "Fast Car." The song had a resurgence in 2023 after it was covered by country star Luke Combs.

"Fast Car" began its initial rise on the charts after Chapman performed it at Nelson Mandela's 70th Birthday Tribute in June 1988.

Though Chapman was only scheduled to perform a short set in the afternoon, she ended up singing for a larger audience than initially planned. Stevie Wonder experienced technical difficulties, and Chapman saved the day by performing a second set in his place.

"The fact that I got to play [Mandela's] birthday concert in London as a newcomer was a great stroke of luck," Chapman told German newspaper Spiegel in 2017. "I performed a second time and my songs like 'Talkin’ bout a Revolution' and 'Fast Car' stayed with the fans. It was a great opportunity – and my breakthrough."

Following this appearance, "Fast Car" became a No. 6 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. Rolling Stone also ranked the song at No. 71 on their 2021 list of "The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time."

Tracy Chapman went multi platinum and won three Grammy Awards—including the award for Chapman as Best New Artist.

Her sophomore album, Crossroads (1989), was less commercially successful than her debut, but still achieved platinum status in the U.S. In 1992, she released her third record Matters of the Heart.

Her fourth album, New Beginning (1995), sold over five million copies in the U.S. and included the hit single "Give Me One Reason," which won Best Rock Song at the 1997 Grammy Awards and peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. Her fifth album, Telling Stories, was released in 2000, and Chapman released her sixth album, Let It Rain, in 2002.

Her seventh and eighth studio albums, Where You Live and Our Bright Future, were released in 2005 and 2008, respectively.

When Combs' version of "Fast Car" hit number one on the Country Airplay chart in July 2023, Chapman became the first Black woman to earn a country number one with a solo composition.

At the 57th Annual Country Music Association Awards in November 2023, Chapman became the first Black woman to ever take home a CMA Award when she won Song of the Year. She is also the first Black songwriter to win that award.

During the 66th Grammy Awards in 2024, Chapman joined Combs on stage to perform an emotional duet to "Fast Car." Chapman has rarely performed publicly since releasing her last album in 2009, and the duo received a standing ovation from the audience.

“Tracy Chapman wrote this perfect song that I first heard with my dad, and it has stayed with me since,” Combs told Billboard in 2023, describing Chapman as a “supernatural" songwriter.

“I always thought it was one of the best songs of all time,” the singer added to People, noting, “there’s nothing like Tracy’s version.”

Are you a "can" or "cannot" when it comes to the Rubik's Cube?

There were always certain kids in your class growing up who were able to solve the vintage puzzle toy, but the rest were left pretty clueless when it came to maneuvering the 3D brainteaser. It must be a pretty miraculous feeling to make it so each of the six sides bear a distinct color...

The invention by Hungarian sculptor Erno Rubik dates back to the 1970s, but it was on March 29, 1983 — exactly 43 years ago — when the cube received its official U.S. patent after reportedly debuting at the New York Toy Fair in 1980.

One Rubik’s Cube has more than 43 quintillion possibilities, and millions are sold and solved every year, according to the product's website. In 2017, Rubik’s celebrated a record year with retail sales reaching $250 million. Two years earlier, Justin Bieber famously solved the Rubik’s Cube on The Late Late Show with James Corden. And these days, the famed puzzle toy also happens to be an awesome value, just $13 at Walmart for the classic model that started it all. Plus, among the many cool iterations of the toy is the Magnetic Speed Cube, which is basically a fun upgrade that puts a fresh spin on the original. The Walmart-exclusive $20 two-pack includes a standard 3×3 cube and a smaller 2×2 version, and both are engineered to move more smoothly — so you can potentially solve it even faster!

And lastly, Rubik’s Cube celebrated 50 years since its invention in 2024, which marks an incredibly impressive run for a toy that most of us can remember playing with during our childhoods. To commemorate the occasion, the brand released an anniversary edition honoring the retro design, and it's just $11 at Walmart.

Boysetsfire band issued their official statement mourning the loss of their original drummer, Matt Krupanski, who was also a founding member whose work and dedication helped shape the group’s signature sound.

In a heartfelt message on Instagram, the 2000s post-hardcore band from Delaware shared a deeply personal and emotional tribute to their late drummer as they formally confirmed his passing.

"We hate to write this. Today, the BSF family lost one of our founding members, our drummer Matt Krupanski. Words are failing us. Snapshots of memories skitter through our mind,” the caption reads.

BSF also recalled their earliest memories with Krupanski, highlighting how long they had known him and the journey they’ve shared, which made the loss feel even more heartbreaking.

“Picking him up for our first tour from high school, which his parents had to give permission to leave early. Writing ATE and Rookie in his parents’ basement. Smoking cigars on the beach in North Carolina after playing a very misleading Bed and Breakfast (no bed no breakfast)” as mentioned by the band.

The official statement includes their message to Krupanski’s loved ones, especially his daughter Georgie.

“We are so f—-g sorry George. We are so sorry Carla. We are so sorry Marc and Melissa. And our hearts break for his daughter Georgie. We are so sorry. We are gutted. Our hearts are shredded. We lost a brother today,” the message from the band states.

Lastly, BSF also sought support from fans as they took action to support Krupanski’s daughter and his family financially through fundraising.

“We are planning on a fundraiser for Georgie, maybe for college or whatever the family decides.

Matt, you are missed and we love you. -BSF, as highlighted in the caption.

The comment section was filled with grief and support as fans and fellow musicians paid tribute to the beloved drummer.

“I am so very sorry and absolutely lost for words. This is devastating. All my thoughts are with the whole BSF family crew and Matt‘s family of course… Rest easy Matt!” Ingo Knollmann, the vocalist of the band DONOTS, commented.

Tucker Rule of THURSDAY chimed in, noting, “I’m so sorry, totally heartbroken.”

As for fans, they are expressing their gratitude and admiration, with one saying, “Thank you, guys. BSF was Matt’s heart for so long. Much love.”

The same goes for another who called him an “inspiration,” noting, “So sorry to read this! Matt was a huge inspiration and influence when I started playing drums! RIP.”

Krupanski was part of the original lineup of Boysetsfire in 1994 alongside Nathan Gray on vocals, Josh Latshaw and Chad Istvan on guitar and Darrell Hyde on bass.

Following their initial split in 2007, the band reunited in the early 2010s, where they released studio albums, While a Nation Sleeps… and BoySetsFire.

Authorities in Scottsdale, Arizona, have released an update after finding a woman's body in a canal on March 28. The woman has been identified as Passion Schurz, 28, according to the Scottsdale Police Department.

"The initial identification was made based on specific tattoos, her physical characteristics, and clothing description. Dental records will be used to confirm her identification as soon as possible. Passion’s family has been notified of this tragic outcome, and Scottsdale PD’s crisis counselors helped with the notification and are working to support the family along with Salt River Police Department resources," read a press release.

"We can confirm that there were no injuries related to fractures, stab wounds, or gunshot wounds. The medical examiner is still determining the official cause of death. We’re being told the full report, including toxicology, won’t be ready for several more weeks. The investigation is not complete. Scottsdale detectives are working with Salt River Police investigators and the medical examiner to thoroughly investigate this case and piece together how Passion died and ended up in the canal," the press release continued.

After the Scottsdale Police Department's initial press conference about the body found, many people wondered if this discovery was related to the Nancy Guthrie case. Though a positive I.D. wasn't available early on, authorities were quick to confirm that the case in Scottsdale was unrelated to the Guthrie case in Pima County.

Guthrie, 84, has been missing since Sunday, Feb. 1. At the time of this writing, Guthrie's whereabouts remain unknown and no one has been arrested in connection with her disappearance.

The landscape of Port Charles could have looked very different. Colton Little, known to fans as Andrew Donovan on Days of Our Lives, recently revealed that he came incredibly close to joining the cast of General Hospital as Ross Callum.

Little shared the story during an appearance on soap journalist Michael Fairman’s YouTube channel, where his partner, Adrian Anchondo, was being interviewed about his exit from the ABC soap opera.

During the conversation, Little said he not only auditioned for the role but also tested in front of the producers.

He added that the character was still evolving at the time. “They were trying to figure out Callum,” he said.

Little said he advanced significantly in the casting process before the role ultimately went to Andrew Hawkes. “I got pretty far, and they ended up going in a different direction,” he explained.

According to Little, the creative team was still shaping the role during auditions. “I think they were trying to figure out what to do with that character as far as age, type, and how the storyline was going to go. So, they did sort of a broad casting and then narrowed it down,” he said.

Although he didn’t land the role, Little said he has continued to audition for the show. “I've been in for one other character since on the show,” he shared.

After seeing Anchondo’s experience, Little said he remains eager to join the series. “Getting to know everybody, I'd love to get into that world,” he said.

Despite having appeared on Days of Our Lives recently as Andrew Donovan, the actor revealed that he hasn't filmed for the Peacock series in a while. “I haven't been on Days [of Our Lives] in a while. So, I'm just kind of waiting to hear,” he said.

Little joined the cast of Days of Our Lives in 2022 as the legacy child of supercouple, Shane Donovan and Kimberly Brady, during the spin-off series Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem. Since then he has made appearances on and off on the main series.

Amid making waves as Billy on the hit Hulu series, Paradise, Jon Beavers popped into the Tracker universe to portray James, a father desperate to find his son after his disappearance during a school field trip to the museum.

Beavers’ appearance also serves as a connective thread between Justin Hartley and Sterling K. Brown’s hit shows—and a welcome treat for fans of This Is Us, where the two previously starred as brothers.

If we can't get a cameo from Brown on Tracker, the very least we can do is get an appearance from someone in his orbit who has a huge part in his very successful series.

Beavers portrayed/portrays Special Agent Billy Pace on Paradise. While he still makes appearances in flashback sequences, I also use the past-tense because his character was—spoiler alert—killed off in Paradise Season 1 by his girlfriend, Jane Driscoll, played by Nicole Brydon Bloom, a death and betrayal that caught fans by surprise.

The California-based actor also appears in Kevin Costner's film series, Horizon: An American Saga, as Junior Sykes.

Other TV credits and roles include Animal Kingdom, Bel-Air and The Long Road Home.

Tracker Season 3 Episode 14 Recap

On Tracker Season 3 Episode 14, Beavers starred as a worried dad named James, who went above and beyond to get his son back after he was taken from a school friend trip. James and his wife, Sarah, hired Colter after realizing the police weren't doing enough and not taking the situation seriously enough.

Despite Colter's objections that this isn't how he does things, he allowed James to tag along after evidence pointed to a cleaning lady at the museum, who was going through a rough patch and lost custody of her children, one of whom was the same age as his son, Alex.

James was hot-headed and impulsive, immediately lunging at Sylvia's running partner to get answers as to his son's whereabouts. It was understandable considering time was of the essence, and emotions were running high, but Sylvia wasn't behind Alex's disappearance.

Evidence then pointed to Alex's teacher, Mr. Brooks, though eventually, Colter realized that Brooks wasn't the suspect; he was trying to help Alex, who was actually taken by his neighbor, Noah.

As Randy put it, Noah was "sus" with a "dodgy record" that included loitering around a preschool, confirming that Colter's theory was true and he was the one who jumped at the opportunity to abduct the boy. A sign of struggle at his home hinted at Brooks figuring it out and coming to confront Noah, only to get injured in the process.

While Colter's instincts seem to be correct most of the time, his successful track record of finding missing people would be impossible without Randy. He's the key to everything. They wouldn't even have the location of Noah's cabin without Randy, so he really deserves way more credit than he's given.

Colter's timing was, as always, impeccable, as he got there in time to render aid to Brooks, who was taken down by an axe (but will be just fine!), and locate Alex in the woods before Noah was able to get to him.

James apologized to Colter for letting his temper get in the way and thanked him for finding his son. He also promised to make the most of the second chance he'd be given, taking time off work to teach his boy how to fish. Colter's comment about most dads not being lucky enough to get second chances would've been a great segue to the mystery of his father's death, which has been on the back burner for quite some time, but unfortunately, Tracker didn't tap into it. At least, not yet.

Beavers proved to be an incredible guest star. My only complaint is that he wasn't in the episode more, but this is, after all, the Colter show!

Following his stint on Paradise and guest-starring role on Tracker, he has joined the cast of an NBC drama pilot that will be directed by Jennifer Morrison, who also has a connection to Hartley after sharing the screen with him on both Tracker and This Is Us. What a small world!

Beavers joins the previously announced series lead Emily Deschanel.

The show remains untitled, though the synopsis gives fans some insight into what they may expect: "Professor Georgia Ryan (Deschanel) is a trailblazing psychologist who challenges the field of criminology by shifting the investigative focus to the victim rather than just the perpetrator in order to uncover the crucial clues that more traditional methods leave behind. Alongside her team, this pioneering expert consults with the FBI to solve the most baffling and elusive cases."

Last year, Johnson took to Instagram to share a sweet photo she received from a fan at the Niagara Falls Comic Con earlier that month. The picture showed her and her former Power Rangers co-star, Jason David Frank, who died in November 2022 by suicide at age 49.

The moment wasn't the first time Johnson spoke out to honor Frank's memory. Following his death in 2002, Johnson went on Instagram Live and shared several touching memories of her late friend.

"I just came on here because I was feeling really sad and really it's really hitting home today what had happened and that he's gone," Johnson shared while crying, PEOPLE reported. "I don't know. I just thought of all of you guys because I know how much you all meant to him and how much you guys are probably in the same amount of pain and so sad."

She went on to call Frank "such a force and such a bright, bright, crazy, wild, funny light. I just can't even believe it. My head hurts so bad."

The Jackson 5’s song “ABC” has that infectious groove and vibrant energy that instantly made it a chart-topping success.

Formed in 1964, the iconic vocal group consists of five brothers: Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Michael Jackson, whose original name was The Jackson 5. They would go on to become one of the most influential acts in the music scene, introducing a string of smash hits.

Released in 1970 as part of their second studio album under Motown Records, “ABC” cemented the group’s place in music history, further propelling their popularity and helping define the crossover appeal of soul and pop during that era.

Fifty-six years ago today, The Jackson 5 launched a young group into superstardom after the single reached No. 1 on the R&B chart, a weekly music ranking released by Billboard magazine.

Following this, the five-member band proved unstoppable, topping the Billboard Soul Singles on the week of April 4, 1970, and holding the No. 1 spot for four straight weeks.

On April 25, 1970, “ABC” reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, dethroning “Let It Be” by The Beatles.

With the song’s immense popularity, it not only became their second big hit but the Jackson 5 single also sold 2 million copies in its first week of release in the U.S and over 4 million copies worldwide.

Composed by a team of Motown songwriters and producers, which includes Berry Gordy, Freddie Perren, Alphonzo Mizell and Deke Richards, also known as The Corporation, the single’s catchy lyrics and funky melody instantly stole the hearts of fans, making this an undeniable stepping stone toward Jacksonmania.

Prior to the release, the late Tito Jackson, one of the founding members, told The Guardian how worried he was about “ABC” that it might not achieve the same success that their previous song “I’ll Be There” received.

“‘ABC’ was more nail-biting,” he said, adding, “We’d been told the second hit is harder than the first, so to watch that one go up the charts was even more amazing. Then it happened with ‘The Love You Save,’ too. We didn’t think we’d do it a fourth time with ‘I’ll Be There.’ But it replaced Marvin Gaye’s ‘I Heard It Through The Grapevine’ as Motown’s biggest record, selling seven million.”

As for the King of Pop, who was a preteen at the time, he immediately liked the song more than their previous smash hit.

“I loved ‘ABC’ from the first moment I heard it,’” Michael Jackson said, as cited by Rolling Stone Australia. “I had more enthusiasm for that than I did for ‘I Want You Back.’”

Jimmy Page just gave Led Zeppelin fans something they didn't know they needed.

The legendary guitarist uploaded what he claims is the "original home demo" of "Ten Years Gone" to his official YouTube channel on Sunday, March 29, offering a neat behind-the-scenes look at the early stages of a song that would later appear on Led Zeppelin's iconic 1975 double album, Physical Graffiti. 

The demo was recorded at Page's personal studio at Plumpton Place, and hearing it is about as close as fans will ever get to sitting in the room where it all began.

In a message accompanying the upload, Page explained the origins of the track: “As a footnote to Physical Graffiti, I thought you might like to hear the original home demo, recorded in my studio at Plumpton Place of a piece of music that was going to surface as Ten Years Gone.”

He continued, "I presented this rough mix to the band at Headley Grange in order to do this for real. Robert Plant came up with some lyrics for my music that were extraordinary and then we arrive at the song '10 Years Gone.'"

It's not the first time Page has pulled back the curtain on the Physical Graffiti era. Back in March 2023, he shared "The Seasons," a previously unreleased instrumental arrangement that formed the foundation for "The Rain Song" from the band's 1973 album Houses of the Holy.

The new demo arrives as Physical Graffiti continues to loom large in rock history. Last September, Led Zeppelin marked the album's 50th anniversary with a limited live EP featuring performances of "In My Time of Dying," "Trampled Under Foot," "Sick Again," and "Kashmir"—recordings that had previously only appeared on the 2003 Led Zeppelin DVD, now released on vinyl and digital formats for the first time. The album itself has been certified 17 times platinum in the US.

It's a fitting tribute to a band that, since forming in 1968, has sold more than 300 million albums worldwide, earned a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1995.
