'America’s Next Top Model' Alums Rally Lawmakers for Reality TV Reform: 'We Aren’t Stopping'
Netflix'sReality Check docuseries into the controversies that took place during America's Next Top Modelhas further opened the floodgates. ANTM Cycle 24 finalist Jeana Turner provided an update on social media on her and former alums having united to lobby the government for a reality TV protection reform.
The reform was started years ago by former contestants, including Turner, Cycle 8's Brittany Hatch, Sarah VonderHaar, Cycle 1's Giselle Samson, and Cycle 9's Sarah Hartshorne. Tuner shared an update on her social media about the reform following the intense spotlight on Tyra Banks and the Netflix docuseries.
"Turning our stories into action. Today, we met with the California Legislative Board to push for stronger protections and real accountability for reality TV contestants. We are stronger in numbers, and we aren’t stopping until we see real change," she said in her caption while also tagging the other former contestants.
Turner explained in the video that they all met with the legislative board to begin conversations on changing legislation and "amending current laws to bring stronger protections to reality TV contestants, specifically after our experiences with ANTM."

The alum adds that the reform isn't based solely on one individual but multiple women "speaking out" and wanting "real change" for the next generation of women. In 2023, VonderHaar and Hatch spoke with Entertainment Weekly after they filed separate wage claims against Banks and producers Ken Mok and Anthony Dominici.
They claimed that production was in charge of their filming hours, with the contracts stating they had to be available 24/7 without pay. It was also reported that they were only given $40 a day for food and necessities and weren't allowed to know of any location they were sent to. The two alums also claim sleep deprivation during a go-see in Australia is what led to a volatile and intense moment that was captured on camera.
Turner also claimed in the Vice TV series, Dark Side of Reality TV, that production had manipulated her interview after being stuck in a room for seven hours, being asked questions. They had used a portion of her words as a response to her losing Cycle 24, which was "not at all what happened."
Netflix's Reality Check dove deep into the series's controversies, like Banks' response to Shandi Sullivan's alleged sexual assault caught on camera. The rifts between Banks and the series judges, and the controversial photoshoots.
HGTV Star Shares Filming Update and Emotional Tribute to Late Mother
HGTV personality Page Turner revealed why starring on Love It or List It holds such significance.
TV Insider reported that Turner let HGTV fans know she was spending time in Toronto, Canada, because the production of Love It or List It Season 21 has begun, in a February 17 Instagram upload.
In the caption of the post, she shared that her late mother, Patricia Ann Helen Turner, used to reside in Toronto. Patricia died at the age of 84 in 2025.
"Flying from home in LA, back to my other home in Toronto to get back to work & wearing my Mama's scarf is (now) always such an emotional sitch .... I used to be so thrilled landing in Toronto and being so grateful God included my Mom in my full circle journey -- Let me explain," stated Turner in the caption.
She stated that the first series she filmed for HGTV, Flip or Flop Nashville, which had a two-season run until 2019, "was filmed in Nashville," her father's hometown.
"Then I moved back home to LA, where I was born & raised, and co-created & EP'd #FixMyFlip .... I always felt like, sorry Ma, you're in my heart because I had one show where my Dad is from & another where I'm from, but not where she's from- Toronto. But honestly, how could it be, seeing that she's from a whole other country and I'm filming American shows...???" wrote the HGTV star.
She then noted that she joined Love It or List It during its 20th season, which premiered in 2025. Turner referenced that the filming location of the renovation series is Toronto.
"Because BOOM, here comes the promotion & elevation straight from the seeds of prayers planted in heaven that I didn't even directly pray for (ok that was dramatic, but so true!) - that God would NEVER EVER leave MY Mama out of this equation!!" wrote Turner. "So now, I'm brought FULL CIRCLE as your new, amazinggggg & brilliant Co-host on #LoveItoListIt@hgtv where??? ... in TORONTO!! ---> Not only where my Mom is from, but also where my beloved parents met I'm so ridiculously honored & grateful to be here & working in my dream, my mind is blown every day!"
She went on to say that "full circle moments are emotionally no joke."
"And now that my sweet Mama has left me in this realm, there are different feelings of such absence landing here, but at the same time, soooo such immense gratefulness that God Himself ordered my steps, promotion & elevation to complete such a full circle journey. I'm so blessed she got to see it happen," stated the house-flipping expert.
She ended her caption by encouraging her fans to believe in themselves and work for their dreams.
Several Fans Shared That They Appreciated Page Turner's MessageSeveral social media users flocked to the post's comments section to share that they appreciated Turner's message and filming update.
"I love this SO much sister. Such a beautiful full circle moment. You wrote the vision. Did the work. Followed God's leading. You are such an inspiration," wrote a commenter.
"This is such a special story - your momma is definitely so proud of you Your energy is infectious through the TV and even more so in person!" added another.
"Beautiful tribute!!! Inspired and wonderfully said! Under the hairdryer tearing up!" shared a third person.
"Beautiful inside and out! Thanks for sharing," stated a fan.
Page Turner Shared Her Thoughts About Filming 'Love It or List It'After Hilary Farrstepped away from Love It or List It following season 19, Turner joined the show as David Visentin‘s castmate. In a joint May 2025 interview with Collider, Turner and Visentin shared their thoughts about working with each other on the series. Turner said she appreciated her co-host's big heart and humor. In addition, Visentin complimented Turner's warm energy. According to Visentin, Turner "lightened up the whole set."

Sir David Attenborough's 100th Birthday: How Britain's Celebrating Its Most Famous Voice
Britain's beloved broadcaster, biologist, natural historian, and writer Sir David Attenborough will turn 100 years old on May 8, 2026, and the BBC has big plans for celebrating the 99-year-old documentary legend's "extraordinary milestone" birthday.
The festivities will include three new programs and a week of revisiting Attenborough's most famous series (like Planet Earth, One Planet, Blue Planet, Frozen Planet, Planet Earth, and Wild London), culminating in a massive life event honoring the TV icon, who is known for his soothing voice.
"It's impossible to overstate what Sir David Attenborough has given us," said BBC exec Jack Bootle. "His programmes have not only defined science and natural history broadcasting, but they have also changed how we see our planet and our place within it."

Aldi's Elegant $10 Cut-Glass Candle Holder Is Twinning With an Anthropologie Style More Than 3x the Price
Parade aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.
You can love Aldi for any number of reasons—from its super convenient weeknight meal shortcuts to its shockingly affordable charcuterie board fixings (because a cheese plate should not cost $100). But where the grocer really comes through is when you have Anthropologie tastes on a, well, Aldi budget.
The Aldi Finds aisle can be a cornucopia of Anthropologie dupes at times, and I know I personally love it for that. Because sometimes when you want to be bougie on a budget, strategic shopping is necessary. For instance, if you've been eyeing Anthro's cut-glass candle holders for a while but can't justify the price tag, you need to check out Aldi's latest offering.
Kirkton House Cut Glass Candle Holder, Pink/Blue/Iridescent, $9.99 at AldiAldi
This isn't the first time Aldi has offered these multifaceted Kirkton House Cut Glass Candle Holders, shown above in the pretty pink, blue and iridescent style and colorway. It had these in the Finds aisle right around this time last year, and shoppers cleared the shelves quickly of every option. (There are three different styles, including green/clear/blue and yellow/green/pink, all of which are $9.99 each.)
Related: Marshalls Is Selling a Chic Weekender Bag by a Beloved Designer for an Unbeatable Price
These look an awful lot like Anthropologie's Cut Glass Candle Holders, which range in price from $28 to $44, depending on the size and shape.
When you're deciding between the "real thing" and a more affordable dupe, it really comes down to what you're buying and why. If it's a mattress? Splurge. If it's something you'll use every single day for years? Maybe worth the higher price tag.
But a gorgeous cut-glass candle holder that looks almost identical to the one at Anthropologie but costs a third as much at Aldi is a different story.
When it's a little luxury, not a necessity, the dupe just makes sense. You still get the sparkle and elevated style moment. And, seriously, your taper candles don't know the difference.
Right now, the Aldi Finds aisle is a total mix of little luxe goodies like these candle holders and super practical items that will make your life a little easier, like an over-the-faucet sink caddy. Because that's the real beauty of this fun little section. There are the nice-to-haves and the "how did I ever live without this?" products all co-existing happily side-by-side, just waiting for you to bring them home.

Andrew Marc Water Resistant Hooded Jacket, $110 (was $275) at Nordstrom RackWhat makes the "stylish" coat are the contrasting colors and textures. Billy Bob Thornton Reveals Director Billy Wilder Told Him He Was 'Too Ugly to Be a Leading Man'
If anyone has mastered the art of playing memorably eccentric characters, it's Billy Bob Thornton.
Though initially a struggling character actor upon his entry in the film industry, Thornton has long since become one of the most talented dramatic performers of his generations.
Disappearing into such roles as a sociopathic hitman in Fargo to a tough-talking oil baron in Paramount+'s Landman, the 70-year-old actor has experienced an accolade-filled career the likes of which few actors are able to enjoy.
Yet in an interesting turn of events, a chance encounter between Thornton and a Golden Age Hollywood legend wound up changing the course of Thornton's career for the better, putting him down the path of career prominence we associate with the actor today.
During an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbertin 2024, the Sling Blade star reminisced about his days as a struggling actor. As he fought to break into the film industry, Thornton wound up volunteering to work as a waiter at a party frequented by several prominent guests from Hollywood's past.
"This guy I knew knew that I was starving and he worked for a catering company," Thornton recalled. "He said, 'Listen, I'm doing a Christmas Eve party in 'rich town,' and since it's Christmas Eve, normally [the pay] is $150, but tonight it's $300."
Quickly accepting the offer, Thornton wound up coming face to face with several recognizable filmmakers and actors, including director Stanley Donen, Debbie Reynolds, Dudley Moore and several others.
As he circled around serving the guests, Thornton said he struck up a conversation with director Billy Wilder, the accomplished filmmaker behind such hits as Double Indemnity, Sunset Boulevard, The Apartment andSome Like It Hot.
"He said, 'So, you want to be an actor?'" Thornton remembered Wilder saying. "I said, 'Yeah, how'd you know that?' He goes, 'Eh, you all want to be actors.' He goes, 'Forget about it.' I said, 'Why?' And he said, 'You're too ugly to be a leading man and you're too pretty to be a character actor.'"
Rather than growing offended, Thornton said he and Wilder instead talked about alternative ways Thornton could break into the film industry, such as writing and starring in his own scripts.
"He said, 'Can you write at all?'" Thornton continued. "I said, 'Actually, I have been writing, and I used to write short stories and stuff like that.' He said, 'That's what you do. You write your own stories, create your own characters, make your own way. Otherwise you're standing on the sidewalk with everyone else. That's how you get noticed.'"
Taking Wilder's advice, Thornton ended up penning the script to his breakthrough film Sling Blade, propelling him to the forefront of the film industry by the mid 1990s.
We Asked 3 Chefs Which Store-Bought Dumplings They Actually Buy
Parade aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.
Store-bought dumplings are one of the rare grocery staples that feel both effortless and deeply nourishing, something you can turn into a full meal, a quick side dish or pop into a cozy soup for a meal in minutes. They're satisfying, flavorful and endlessly versatile, whether you’re crisping them up for a weeknight dinner or steaming them for a simple lunch at home.
They’re also especially timely right now, because dumplings hold a meaningful place in Lunar New Year celebrations. Traditionally, dumplings symbolize wealth and good fortune, and they’re often shared with family as a way to welcome abundance in the year ahead. But making dumplings from scratch is a labor of love and not always realistic in the middle of a busy season.
This is a moment where store-bought dumplings shine: they offer an easy way to celebrate without the fuss, while still tapping into the comfort and tradition that make these tasty little parcels so special.
The world of dumplings is wide, vast and varied, but we were curious to know what brands chefs reach for. To find out, we asked three Asian-American chefs for their go-to brands: Natasha Pickowicz, a James Beard Award–nominated chef and best-selling author of More Than Cake and the newly released Everyone Hot Pot; Candice Kumai, a French-trained chef and wellness pioneer; and Steve Chu, the fan-favorite chef behind Baltimore’s beloved Ekiben restaurants.
Their picks, plus their shopping and cooking tips, prove that store-bought dumplings can be chef-approved, convenient and super delicious.

Before we get into the top picks, let's take a moment to talk shopping. Buying dumplings can feel overwhelming—there are many styles, types and fillings, but our experts say the label gives you more clues than you might think.
“Look for more specific language beyond just ‘dumpling,’” says Pickowicz. “If it says ‘gyoza,’ the wrappers will be thinner and more delicate, and better for pan-frying. If it says ‘dim sum,’ it should probably be steamed. The language on the label will give you many hints as to how to best prepare it.”
Pickowicz also recommends shopping at specialty markets when possible. “I love big chain supermarkets, like Mitsuwa for Japanese brands, H Mart for Korean brands, Ranch 99 for Chinese brands—it’s fun to try many different kinds to see what you like!”
Kumai emphasizes ingredient quality above all. “As someone who grew up Japanese and Polish, dumplings are deeply personal to me—from gyoza to pierogi,” she tells Parade. “When shopping, I look for a short, recognizable ingredient list. Minimally processed is key.”
Chu adds that personal history is also part of the equation. “Brand loyalty is huge with dumplings. A lot of us grew up eating the same brands, so nostalgia plays a big role for me,” he says. His top advice? Start with a trusted Asian grocer, as “their freezer sections are usually really well curated, and you’re more likely to find brands that have been around forever for a reason.”

The 3 Best Store-Bought Dumplings, According to ChefsWhen it comes to the best store-bought dumplings to keep stocked, our experts recommend a mix of widely available staples and newer, buzzier brands.
1. MìLà dumplingsMila
Pickowicz loves this more recent entry to the freezer aisle. “I’m a big fan of a newer brand called MìLà,” she says. “They have lots of variety…and delicious, balanced fillings.”
Founded by husband-and-wife Jen and Caleb Liao, MìLà’s lineup includes fan-favorite soup dumplings, juicy potstickers and noodle kits in a variety of flavors, including brasied beef, caramelized scallion and spicy dan dan.
You can order the dumplings online or pick them up at Target, Whole Foods, Sam's Club and at grocery stores like Kroger and Sprouts.
Nasoya
Kumai notes that homemade will always be ideal, but some store-bought options truly deliver. “When you're in a time crunch, these brands work well,” she says. Her top pick? Nasoya, which she says is "widely available…convenient, flavorful and easy to prepare at home.”
Nasoya, which is sold in the refrigerated section, offers three plant-based dumpling options: Tofu Vegetable, Thai Basil and Korean BBQ. The dumplings are made with organic tofu and veggies and all three include a dipping sauce. For a tender dumpling with a crispy bottom, coat them lightly with cooking spray and stick them in the air fryer. They're also a great addition to soup.
Wei-Chuan
For Chu, it comes back to childhood comfort. “I love Wei-Chuan. I grew up with it, and they have so many different flavors,” he says. “Finding your favorite is kind of like finding your favorite wine. You just have to eat a lot of them until something clicks.”
Wei-Chuan is one of those classic brands that many Asian American families have stocked in their freezers for decades, offering an impressive range of dumpling styles and fillings. If you look at their website, you'll see nearly 40 dumpling options, including Shan Dong Pork, Corn and Cabbage, Beijing Szechwan Style Spicy Pork, Mei Jia Jen Wei Chinese Spinach, Pork & Shrimp and more.

4 Chef Tips for Cooking DumplingsNow that you've got your dumplings, it's time to cook them. And the cooking method certainly matters, because not every dumpling is the same. Here are some tips and advice from our experts.
1. Do some reading firstThe cooking method depends on the type of dumpling and there will always be some advice on the bag. “Always check the package first,” says Pickowicz. “Thicker wrappers… can handle being boiled. Thinner wrappers are more delicate and should be steamed or pan-fried.”
2. Keep it easyChu is a boiled dumpling fan. “My favorite way to cook dumplings is honestly the simplest way—just boil them,” he says. “Cook them until they float and the wrappers still have a little bite. Italians call it al dente; Taiwanese call it QQ, or bouncy.”
3. Crisp it upPickowicz and Kumai have a similar go-to crispy-bottom method. They both swear by the classic pan-fry-and-steam technique: “Once the bottoms are deeply browned, I add a few tablespoons of water, cover the pan… and steam until the water has evaporated. Delicious every time!", Pickowicz says.
"This (method) really gives you that perfect crispy bottom with a tender top," agrees Kumai.
And don’t skip the sauce: Chu loves a quick mix of garlic, chili, soy sauce, scallions and vinegar, while Pickowicz keeps it simple with “two parts black vinegar to one part soy sauce—and a big spoonful of chili crisp.”

Aldi's Sleek Multipurpose Kitchen Find Makes Cutting Through Tough Tasks a Breeze
I might be slightly biased as someone who genuinely could spend hours in the kitchen, but there are some kitchen gadgets that you really can't live without. Beyond utensils and mixing bowls, some items truly elevate your cooking experience, making it easier and slightly less chaotic to get dinner on the table. Does that mean you absolutely have to have a stand mixer or a dedicated pasta roller? Not necessarily, but we wouldn't complain about it either.
What it really boils down to (pun intended) is what kind of cook you are and which tasks you'd like to streamline. If you always make Sundaygravy and end up with a mountain of extra dishes, it might be worth investing in an immersion blender so you can achieve the perfect consistency all in one pot. Find yourself constantly running out of parchment paper or aluminum foil? You can't go wrong with an oven-safe silicone mat.

There are some things in the kitchen that just make sense, and although it might seem unnecessary to spend money on a pizza stone or a burger press, you might not regret it in the long run. More than any of those items, though, the one thing no kitchen is complete without is, hands down, a really good set of kitchen shears. And Aldi just dropped a pair that'll make cutting through tough kitchen tasks easier than ever. The sleek Crofton Magnetic Kitchen Shears are just the multipurpose culinary tool you've been missing, and they do so much more than just slice through tough food.
Crofton Magnetic Kitchen Shears, $4.99 at AldiAldi
Not only can they make spatchcocking a chicken or snipping herbs a breeze, but you can also use this all-in-one essential to open bottles, scale fish, crack through shells, or as a flathead screwdriver. The shears are available in blue, gray and green colorways and also twist apart for easy and effortless cleaning. Once you're finished with them and have washed them by hand, simply slip the shears back into the included magnetic sheath that makes storage almost too convenient. As if that wasn't enough, you can grab this culinary game-changer for no more than just $4.99.
Even for the most novice cook, it's hard to find a reason not to grab these. They're decidedly safer than a knife and make light work of most of the tasks you'll use them for in the kitchen—the added savings are just a bonus. So, whether you're a classically trained chef who's worked at every station in the kitchen brigade or you're a beginner just starting out, you can't go wrong with these shears from Aldi. And while you're there, make sure to keep an eye out for the tasty Specially Selected Shrimp and Crab Ravioli or the Texas Tamale Company Gourmet Pork Tamales that the internet can't stop raving about.

Timothée Chalamet Reflects on Kylie Jenner’s Heartfelt 30th Birthday Surprise
To be loved is to be seen, and that’s something Kylie Jenner takes quite literally when it comes to her boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet.
In conversation with Matthew McConaughey at a CNN & Variety Town Hall event, which airs on Saturday, February 21, Chalamet, 30, recalled the very special birthday party Jenner, 28, threw for him in December of last year.
The Oscar nominee, who turned 30 years old December 27, is a tremendous fan of the movie Interstellar, which he just so happens to star in alongside McConaughey.
"I have legitimately maybe seen it 22 times or something. I saw it 12 times in theaters when it came out," Chalamet admitted to his former co-star, 56. Interstellar, directed by Christoper Nolan, came out in 2014.
Chalamet’s most recent viewing of the film was at his surprise 30th birthday party orchestrated by Jenner — though the event got off to a somewhat rough start.
"I was grumpy on the way there, because I didn't know where she was taking me at. It's my birthday. Why are we driving 30 minutes outside L.A.? I got to the theater [and] it was Interstellar on IMAX. I said, 'Oh, I'm sorry. I'm sorry I was so grumpy on the drive,'" Chalamet recounted.
Jenner, who shares children Stormi and Aire with ex-boyfriend Travis Scott, and Chalamet have been together for three years. Initially, the actor and the cosmetics mogul kept their relationship fairly private.
However, in recent years, the A-list lovebirds have attended events and awards shows together, including the Academy Awards, Critics’ Choice Awards, Venice Film Festival, and even some New York Knicks games, often packing on the PDA on the red carpet and courtside.

It's perfect for tossing with a fresh garden salad, but it doesn't stop there. You can use it as a marinade for chicken, shrimp or even roasted vegetables. Since it's free from soybean oil, canola oil and artificial ingredients, it's a simple swap if you're trying to clean up your pantry without giving up flavor.
It's also certified Non-GMO, gluten-free and glyphosate-residue-free, making it an easy pick for families looking for better-for-you options.
A Steakhouse Caesar That Does It AllCostco locations in Texas and Los Angeles stocked Chosen Foods' new Steakhouse Caesar Dressing & Marinade, which is also priced at $13.92 for a two-pack.
This one brings classic steakhouse vibes straight to your kitchen. It's creamy and bold, with savory garlic, parmesan and a hint of anchovy for that signature Caesar taste. Like the Italian version, it's made with 100 percent pure avocado oil and skips soy, canola and artificial additives.
Drizzle it over romaine for a quick Caesar salad or use it as a rich marinade for grilled chicken or steak. It even works as a dip for veggies if you want something a little more filling than ranch.
Both dressings are designed to be versatile, so fewer bottles crowd your fridge door. If you love steakhouse flavors but want cleaner ingredients, these new Costco finds might be worth adding to your cart on your next run.

LeAnn Rimes and '9-1-1: Nashville' Cast Dance at Coyote Ugly Bar: 'Your Girls Had a Little Fun'
LeAnne Rimes let her hair down with her 9-1-1: Nashville co-stars the best way she knows how—and in the perfect place.
In a video shared to Instagram this week the country music star along with Juani Feliz, Kimberly Williams-Paisley,Jessica Capshaw, Mackenzie Porter, and Hailey Kilgore channeled their inner "Coyote Ugly" bartenders, and danced on top of the Nashville location of the film's namesake bar.
With Rimes' song, "Can't Fight the Moonlight," in the background, which became synonymous with the 2000 film, the 43-year-old also referenced the cult-classic movie's famed line in the post's caption.
View this post on Instagram"Nashville, do we serve water in this bar…" she wrote, as a nod to the bar's owner Lil (played by Maria Bello) in the film, as each actress strutted their stuff in the video.
"Somebody call the 113 as your girls had a little fun of their own in between filming," she added. "Big thank you@coyoteuglysaloonnash for having us and to the badass ladies for teaching us some moves!"
Of course, Feliz, Williams-Paisley, and Capsaw couldn't help but comment on the fun they had.
"And the next day…after recovering from the hangover…I thought this was a dream," Feliz wrote. "I love ya’ll."
"More pleasssssse," added Williams-Paisley. "This was fun."
"This is what I was waiting for," Capshaw wrote of the video.
And fans, both of the movie and Rimes, were loving it.
"This is my absolute favorite part of the movie you being in it," one wrote, referencing the end of the film. "You are absolutely beautiful and gorgeous! I absolutely love you so much LeAnn!"
"Okay.....this is amazing. I LOVE THIS," another wrote. "And also......when did you all actually have time to do this"
"I’m obsessed," added a third.
Along with Bello, "Coyote Ugly" starred Piper Perabo, Adam Garcia, John Goodman, and Tyra Banks. The film follows Perabo's character, Violet, as she pursues a music career but finds herself working at the risqué bar.
9-1-1: Nashville airs on ABC on Thursdays and streams on Hulu. The next episode of the show will air on Feb. 26.

Kelly Clarkson Reveals What 'Sucked' About Ending 'The Kelly Clarkson Show'
The Kelly Clarkson Show became a hit after premiering seven years ago. The first American Idol winner's down-to-earth personality was perfect for celebrity interviews, and her music fans watched her sing karaoke of new hits.
Sadly, Kelly Clarkson announced the NBC show was ending earlier this month. Clarkson, 43, explained in a new interview what "sucked" about the decision as she returns for another season of The Voice.
Kelly Clarkson Says the Talk Show's Success Makes Ending It HardClarkson andJohn Legend appeared on Today on February 20 to promote season 29 of The Voice. "Well, I think everybody probably gets the timing," she told Carson Daly. "Our family life, the dynamic changed a bit and it has changed for a minute now." The mother of two said she's seeing life as "precious" and she was already busy with her other jobs. "There's just too much on the plate," she said.
Daly, 52, said the talk show had a great run. "That's what was really hard," Clarkson said. "Honestly, you know, I work with a lot of people here, too. The crew's been incredible. That's what kind of sucked, everything was going well. That's what's really hard." She acknowledged those jobs ending because of the decision, but it was easy to make as a "Mama."
Clarkson's ex-husband and father of her children, Brandon Blackstock, died in August of 2025 after battling cancer. The talk show was scheduled to return in the fall. Her announcement said this wasn't "goodbye" since she'll perform, make music, and appear on The Voice. That was the last post on the talk show's Instagram account.
The Grammy winner is returning to coach a team on The Voice with Legend, and Adam Levine. The season is themed Battle of the Champions because the coaches are previous winners.
Tune in on Monday night at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC to find out. Streams next day on Peacock.
Hilary Duff Dissects Her 'Challenging' Relationship With Her Dad Amid New Album
Hilary Duffhas kept mostly mum about her strained relationship with her father, Robert "Bob" Duff, in recent years, but the 38-year-old is now opening up about their "challenging" dynamic amid the release of her new album, luck… or something, including her song "The Optimist," which is a nod to their family drama.
"I think it's really challenging for one person to have major success in a family," she said in a Feb. 20 interview with CBS News while discussing the song, which includes lyrics like "I wish I could sleep on planes/And that my father would really love me," and "He'd show up on my wedding day/He'd tell me how he wish he'd stayed/And that he never meant to disappoint me."
Related: Tyra Banks Still Refuses to Talk About the End of Her Friendship With ‘Bestie’ Jay Manuel
"In 'The Optimist,' that's what it feels like for me," she continued. "And I'm sure it has to feel like that for him. Although I'm the kid. And it's been hard to get back to a place of health."
One day earlier, she revealed to Rolling Stone that there have been ups and downs in the relationship, including "times where I talk to my dad and times where I don't talk to my dad."
"A lot of s--- has gone down, and that’s life," she added.
Hilary Duff with Her Parents, Dad Robert Duff and Mom Susan DuffGetty
Bob himself has confirmed that Hilary's fame put a lot of strain on not just his relationship with the girls, but his relationship with his wife, Hilary and sister Haylie Duff's mom, Susan Duff, whom he divorced in 2008 following an extramarital affair he admitted to in an interview with Inside Edition.
"Susan was very consumed with the girls' careers… We simply grew apart," he told the outlet at the time. "I was unfaithful to our marriage. I feel very badly about that and the effect that it had on the girls."
Duff sang about the betrayal in several songs off her 2007 album, Dignity, and it seems the father-daughter duo still struggles to reconcile fully to this day.
"Just because you’re born into a family doesn’t mean that it always stays together. You can only control your side and your street," she told Glamour recently. “I’ve had a very complicated life, and my parents had a very complicated thing."
Who Is Hilary Duff's Father, Bob Duff?Though he mostly stays out of the spotlight, Duff's father, Bob, is a success in his own right. Long before Duff rose to fame as the star of Lizzie McGuire or a pop princess, Bob was already a millionaire as the owner of a chain of successful convenience stores.
However, he got himself into hot water in 2008, even spending a night in jail, after getting arrested for violating an injunction against selling assets without court approval. "I have never been handcuffed before," he told Inside Edition at the time.
Duff's new album luck... or something was released on Friday, Feb. 20, followed by her Lucky Me Tour later in 2026.
Robert Duvall Once Shared the Hilarious Story About Turning Down 'Godfather' Sequel
As with any prominent actor in the film industry, Robert Duvall might have a handful of regrets about missed parts and other lost roles. But one project he certainly did not regret working on was the less-than-well-received sequel, The Godfather Part III.
Appearing on a 1998 episode of Late Night with Conan O'Brien, the late actor opened up about his decision to avoid returning for the highly anticipated sequel to The Godfather and The Godfather Part II.
When asked what led to him turning down the chance to return to the film, Duvall said with a laugh, "The per diem wasn't right. The per diem wasn't high enough."
"Everybody was doing it for money," the Apocalypse Now actor continued. "Everybody was doing it for money. So, you know, pay. If they're not going to pay, I'm not going to do it. Because everybody's doing it for that. Why kid yourself?"
As to the manner in which Duvall turned down the part, the actor went on to detail the humorous response from director Francis Ford Coppola, who seemed hardly bothered by Duvall's decision.
"He drove to my farm in Virginia. I was there alone that day," Duvall said. "He parked his limo, the guy waited, he came in and I said, 'Before [we start talking about The Godfather Part III], pull up a chair, I'm cooking. I'm going to cook my mother's Maryland crab cake recipe, which is still the best I've ever had.' And he'd been waiting for years to get it."
"So I cooked it for him, and he just went crazy for it. So I wrote it down for him and everything. And when he left, we talked about the film and I said I didn't know if I'd do it. And he forgot the recipe," Duvall continued. "He called twice. He was more concerned about the recipe than whether I'd do The Godfather 3."
'The View': Savannah Chrisley Makes Blunt Confession About Guest Hosting
Chrisley Knows Best star Savannah Chrisley made a blunt confession on her last day of guest-hosting on The View.
On Friday, Feb. 20, Joy Behar, 83, pointed out that it was Savannah's last say as a co-host on the ABC talk show. She joined the panel for a four-day stint starting on Tuesday, Feb. 16.
"I just want to thank you all for giving me a voice and allowing me to sit at the table," the 28-year-old daughter of Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley said. "And believe totally differently, but have conversations that are hard and respectful. And it's the moments off-camera that people don't get to see to where we really do have more in common than we are different."
To that, Behar asked, "And haven't we been fun?"
"You have been so fun," Savannah confirmed before quipping, "And you haven't gotten fired from this job."
Co-host Sunny Hostin, 57, added, "We have a lot in common, and we didn't know that."
View this post on InstagramMeanwhile, Sara Haines, 48, shared, "Joy gives the best material off-camera because it's not appropriate for television."
That's when Savannah admitted, "I told my father, I was like, 'Joy is my favorite.' And he was, like, dying laughing. He's like, 'That's unexpected. I love it.'"
To that, Ana Navarro, 54, joked, "Well, I'm glad we've got through a week, and nobody needs electroshock therapy."
Behar then told Savannah, "No, you were very good and very sweet. We all like you very much. We're happy to have had you here."

Someone else shared, "Best wishes to you Savannah I’m not a fan of your views but I respect your right to be able to have your option as I do."
A different Instagram user wrote, "Thank God it's Friday. Get this woman outta here."

Where Are the 'America’s Next Top Model' Winners & Runner-Ups Today?

Trader Joe's Shoppers Are Rushing to Stores for This Just-Returned 'Favorite' Bakery Item
Mornings just got a whole lot sweeter thanks to Trader Joe’s. Savvy shoppers noticed the grocery store chain brought back one of their “favorite” bakery items, and people are flocking to their nearest store to stock up.
Instagram user @traderjoesobsessed shared pictures of the delicious treat: Glazed Sour Cream Donuts. These old-fashioned cake donuts are drenched in a sweet glaze and taste heavenly when dipped inside coffee.
“Welcome back, glazed sour cream donuts!” the image from the account, run by Shannon Fong, was captioned. Fong also shared her favorite way to eat these, which is surprisingly not in the morning. “They are so good in the air fryer for two minutes at 325° and nice afternoon treat with coffee!” she wrote. Because donuts this good don’t have to be reserved for breakfast!
In the pictures, the donuts look thick and filling with plenty of the glaze on top. We can practically taste it through our screens! And based on the responses this post got, we know we won’t be the only ones rushing to buy these.
View this post on Instagram“Wow😍😍😍😍” one person commented. Someone else wrote, “Now I want donuts 😍.”
“These are our favorite donuts ❤️,” another wrote. Someone else summed up how we are all feeling: “Finally.”
According to Trader Joe’s official description, the Glazed Sour Cream Donuts “are made for us by a family-owned, New England bakery and are the donuts of our dreams.” They describe them as “dense, cakey, moist, and extra fluffy (thanks to the inclusion of sour cream in their batter).” The glaze is vanilla-flavored, adding an even bigger touch of sweetness to these donuts.
A half-dozen donuts are only $4.99, which is comparable to your local donut shop. So, what are you waiting for? You know these won’t stay in stock long, so consider this your excuse to go on another Trader Joe’s run ASAP.
