Robert Irwin Is 'Back at It Again' With a Shocking Music Festival Cameo That Leaves Fans 'Screaming'
Robert Irwin's latest "side quest" is taking the internet by storm.
The only son of the late Crocodile Hunter has found himself involved in a variety of interesting projects in recent months, from competing on reality television to hosting it. Now, he's added cameoing on stage during a major music festival to his growing resume.
Irwin Commanded the Stage Like He Owned ItIrwin "put on his uniform and clocked into his shift" as the Sally of the evening during Role Model’sset at Perth’s Laneway Festival this weekend. The performer always brings a guest onstage to play his Sally during the viral hit “Sally, When the Wine Runs Out,“ and while he occasionally plucks a fan out of the crowd, it's often a celebrity guest star. For example, during another Australian performance, fans were gobsmacked when the Wiggles danced out onto the stage.
"Where's my Sally tonight?!" Role Model shouted into his mic, just before Irwin, dressed in his traditional Australia Zoo khakis, rushed the stage. He burst through the fog effects all full of energy, jumping up and down and pointing out into the grounds as he pumped up the crowd. He showed off several dance moves, working on some fancy footwork before eventually dropping to his stomach and doing the worm.
He went on to engage with the band members as they played, swinging his arms up and down before the singer entered the frame and wrapped his arms over Irwin's shoulder, with the two men singing out the final few words of the song side by side.
View this post on InstagramOne TikToker shared clips of "Australias Sweetheart back at it again" on the social media platform, leaving fans "screaming crying and throwing up" from their bedrooms.
Several boldly declared the conservationist to be "Easily the best Sally ever 🙌🏻," and one person dramatically called it the "worst day of my life" for missing the cameo in person.
"NOBODY KNOWS HOW MUCH THIS MEAN [sic] TO ME," one emphatic fan expressed, while another lamented that they "didn’t even know this was an option."
The 'Dancing With the Stars' Winner Clearly Takes His New Title SeriouslyAs if everyone had forgotten that just months ago the 22-year-old took home the Dancing With the Stars Mirrorball, they praised his groove, with one commenting, "crikey he has moves🕺🏻💃🏻."
In fact, they noted the "camera man struggling to keep up 😩😩" as he rocketed around the stage.
His latest viral moment comes right on the heels of his Super Bowl halftime show dance, with his enjoyment of Bad Bunny's "Monaco" also spreading across the internet like wildfire.
Fans applauded his public support of the Puerto Rican artist after the amount of division that has been sewn around the performance, with one praising, "We need people like you to support diversity these days ❤️❤️.”
1999 Best-Selling Single Was a No. 1 Hit on Valentine’s Day 27 Years Ago
Twenty-seven years ago, on Feb. 14, 1999, Lenny Kravitz achieved a career milestone: his electrifying single “Fly Away” hit number one on the UK Singles Chart.
The riff-driven rock anthem, released in May 1998 as part of his fifth studio album 5, captivated listeners with its carefree energy and soaring vocals.
“Fly Away” wasn’t just another single; it became a defining track of Kravitz’s late ’90s rock era. Selling over 123,000 copies in its first week in the UK, the song cemented his status as a global rock icon. According to Fandom, it also topped charts in Iceland and broke into the top ten in countries including Australia, Canada, Ireland and New Zealand.

In the U.S., it dominated both the Mainstream Rock and Modern Rock/Alternative charts.
The track’s success was boosted by a popular Peugeot 206 TV advertisement in the UK, giving it crossover appeal beyond traditional rock audiences.
View this post on Instagram“Fly Away” also marked Kravitz’s first of four consecutive Grammy Awards for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance from 1999 to 2002. In winning the award, Kravitz solidified his reputation not only as a talented singer but as a gifted multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer.
Reflecting on his ongoing passion for music, Kravitz said in a recent interview about his role in the NBA on NBC:
“I have been a fan of basketball and the NBA since I was a kid. I celebrate their support of sports, music, and culture. I am looking forward to this special moment.”
Lenny Kravitz in 2026: Still Rocking HardAt 61, Kravitz continues to dominate the stage. His 2026 world tour, following his Blue Electric Light era, has taken him across Mexico, Europe and the U.S., blending festival shows and headline arena performances. Setlists frequently feature hits like “Are You Gonna Go My Way,” “American Woman,” and of course, “Fly Away.”
While no official 2026 album has been confirmed, Kravitz has teased new material during live shows and social media updates, hinting that he remains creatively unstoppable.
Even beyond music, Kravitz continues to shine in fashion and film. He is a style icon, a former actor in The Hunger Games as Cinna, and an enduring figure in entertainment culture.
More than two decades after its release, “Fly Away” exemplifies Kravitz’s unique blend of authentic rock energy, soulful vocals and memorable guitar work. Its 27th anniversary on Valentine’s Day reminds fans why the song remains a favorite and a radio classic.

2010s Metalcore Band Releases New Single Ahead of North America Tour
Malevolence dropped an exciting surprise for fans as the Sheffield, U.K. based metallers unveiled a brand-new single.
The quartet has shown no signs of slowing down despite gearing up for the highly anticipated North America Tour.
Just in time for Valentine's Day, the band announced the release of the single "Silhouette."
In a post on Instagram, they shared a glimpse of the music video directed by Richard Oakes, who was the man behind some of the music videos for bands TesseracT and Sleep Token.
The video pairs the ballad-like melody of the song with a mysterious cinematic feel, showcasing the band’s dramatic movements in striking silhouettes.
View this post on InstagramIn a separate Instagram post, the band opened up about what inspired them to create different music from their usual style and step out of their comfort zone.
“This song was put together during the WOTTIS writing period several years back, sparking much internal debate whether the ballad quota on the album had already been met, along with concerns that the vibe was nearly a lil bit too wet for a Malev,” the band explained.
After some reflection, they agreed the track was too much of a banger to waste and released it on Valentine’s Day.
“We revisited the song post record release and it was agreed unanimously between us that it was far too much of a banger to rot away gathering dust on our hard drive. We shot a simple video last week and had it turned around rapid for a timely launch on Valentine's weekend,” the caption reads.
Alex Taylor of Malevolence performs during Slam Dunk Festival North 2021 at Temple Newsam Park on September 4, 2021 in Leeds, England.Adding to the band’s achievement, the newly released single is their first song released independently under their own MLVLTD MUSIC imprint.
On the other hand, Malevolence’s new song sets the stage for a co-headline tour across North America with hardcore metal band Guilt Trip.
The one-month run will kick off on March 31 in Detroit and conclude in Milwaukee on April 23.

'Southern Charm' Alum Reveals Why She Canceled Wedding
Former Southern Charm star Olivia Flowers is getting candid about her and her partner, Alex Williams's choice to not go forward with their wedding, which was set for November 2025.
In a February 2026 interview on Page Six's Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, Flowers said she and Williams, who proposed in 2024, made a mutual decision to not walk down the aisle. She explained that they were both "feeling stressed and nervous about things" regarding their "post-wedding" life. In addition, she said her parents noticed that she and Williams seemed not in alignment while they were planning for their wedding.
Flowers also explained that following their engagement, Williams had to be "in another city" for his job. In addition, Flowers realized that she "want[ed] to be spending time more in New York."
She clarified that she and Williams are "still together." In addition, she showed that she's been wearing her engagement ring, even though she and Williams do not currently have any plans to wed.
"We don't have another date. We're not making plans right now. We're just like staying present with our moment. But yeah, I mean this rings on," said Flowers.
The former Bravo personality also said that she and Williams are now "stronger" than ever after they "weathered the storm" of cancelling their wedding.
"It's definitely like a level up in the relationship. Like there's like a whole new space of authenticity and just like talking to each other," said Flowers in the February 2026 interview. "That is how we reached the decision. Is finally being like something's off here [and] acknowledging the disconnect that we were having."
Olivia Flowers Made an Announcement About Her Wedding in an October 2025 Instagram PostBravoTV.com reported that Flowers let fans know that she and Williams weren't going forward with their wedding in an October 2025 Instagram upload. In the post, the couple's decision was described as "one grounded in deep mutual respect and love for one another."
"While this isn't the path they originally envisioned, they are profoundly grateful for the love and support of their friends and family. Alex and Olivia remain committed to each other with a renewed sense of clarity, strength and appreciation for honoring one's heart," read a portion of the post.
The publication also reported that Flowers shared some details about what would have been her November 2025 nuptials in an April 2025 interview with Virtual Reali-Tea. She said she and Williams weren't sure where exactly they were planning to get married.
"So, we're deciding between two venues. I'm pretty, pretty sure which one I'm leaning towards. It's in West Lake, where I used to live in Texas. So there's sentimental value there... So I'm excited," said Flowers in the April 2025 interview.

Barack Obama Sets the Record Straight on Aliens After Viral Comments
Former President Barack Obama is clarifying his stance on aliens.
On Friday, February 13, Obama appeared to confirm the existence of aliens during a podcast conversation with Brian Tyler Cohen.
“They’re real, but I haven’t seen them,” Obama said. “They’re not being kept at Area 51. There’s no underground facility — unless there’s this enormous conspiracy and they hid it from the President of the United States.”
Obama, who was in office from 2009 to 2017, noted that the “first question he wanted answered” when he became president was: “Where are the aliens?”
RELATED: Michelle Obama Reveals She and Barack Had Plans With Rob and Michele Reiner the Day They Died
After the former president's comments went viral online, he took to Instagram on Sunday, Feb. 15 to set the record straight.
"I was trying to stick with the spirit of the speed round, but since it’s gotten attention let me clarify," Obama captioned his post, which featured a video of the viral remarks. "Statistically, the universe is so vast that the odds are good there’s life out there. But the distances between solar systems are so great that the chances we’ve been visited by aliens is low, and I saw no evidence during my presidency that extraterrestrials have made contact with us. Really!"
This isn't the first time Obama has said he believes aliens may exist, either. During a 2021 appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden, he made similar comments about wanting to know about the truth about aliens when he first assumed the presidency.
“The truth is, that when I came into office, I asked, ‘Is there a lab somewhere where we’re keeping the alien specimens and spaceship?’” he said at the time.

If You Commonly Use These 7 Phrases, You're More Emotionally Intelligent Than You Might Realize, According to a Psychologist
We often think about intelligence in terms of IQ tests or how we scored on high school biology quizzes. You may think you need a Ph.D. (or three) to earn "intelligent" status. While straight A's and degrees are certainly impressive, you don't need them to be considered "emotionally intelligent." The term has made its rounds on social media, as well as in podcasts and media outlets that have eagle eyes on the pop-psychology zeitgeist.
Still, it's understandable if you're not entirely familiar with (yet another) buzzy term.
"Emotional intelligence is a comfort with and mastery of emotions that enables self-awareness and self-regulation, healthy interpersonal relationships and effective and empathic communication," says Dr. Deborah Vinall, Psy.D., LMFT, the chief psychological officer with Recovered.org.
Honestly? We'd take all of the above in ourselves and others over yellowing report cards showcasing 4.0 GPAs—especially right now.
It's also unnecessary to take a test to determine your emotional intelligence. Instead, she shares that we can pay attention to what we say. The thing about individuals with a high EQ (emotional quotient) is that certain phrases roll right off the tongue. To help you get a gauge on your "EI," she tells Parade seven phrases used by people who are more emotionally intelligent than they might think. If none of them sound familiar, know that—like science—emotional intelligence can be learned, and Dr. Vinall shows us how.

1."Tell me more."This one is golden whether you're dealing with a preschooler, a teen or a colleague (so basically, anyone!).
"Emotionally intelligent people listen deeply rather than planning their response or rebuttal while the other talks," Dr. Vinall states. "This simple phrase demonstrates the capacity to hold others' narratives without rushing to defensiveness or a need to correct or re-center oneself."

This emotionally intelligent phrase is so validating for a struggling person on the other end.
"Emotionally intelligent people are able to empathize with others with different lived experiences," Dr. Vinall explains. "They express compassion without needing to 'fix,' emotionally bypass, or compare their own experiences."
Sometimes, a person in a work rut or facing challenges at home can feel isolated. This phrase reminds them they aren't alone.
"This phrase demonstrates a collaborative spirit, a thoughtful approach to problem-solving and a calm demeanor," Dr. Vinall reports.
These three words don't just help someone else feel heard. They also signal, "I see you."
"The ability to reflect attuned listening without argument or defensiveness is a core sign of emotional intelligence," Dr. Vinall says.

People can become dysregulated when they are overwhelmed. When an emotionally intelligent person says this simple phrase, they're offering to lighten the person's load.
"This question demonstrates compassion, a collaborative and allied mindset, gentle directness, and refrains from over-promising or rescuing," Dr. Vinall says.
Bosses: If you hear this one from an employee, trust that you have an emotionally intelligent employee worth keeping.
"Flexibility, humility and openness are emotionally intelligent qualities demonstrated in this confident yet curious expression," Dr. Vinall says.
Honestly? This sentence is difficult to say if you don't agree with a person's choice. But emotionally intelligent people can do (and say) hard things.
"Emotionally intelligent people manage their own internal reactions, remaining calm and respectful even when others' decisions go against their own preferences," Dr. Vinall states. "They communicate this respect directly and do not use manipulative tactics to undermine or try to get what they want."

Dr. Vinall explains that self-understanding and self-compassion are foundational pieces to emotional intelligence.
"When you learn to recognize your emotions, you become empowered to choose how to move through them rather than living reactively," she explains.
The world we live in values speed, but Dr. Vinall says emotionally intelligent people push back. Slowing down opens the door for listening and learning.
"The other side of emotional intelligence is social awareness and interaction," she shares. "With humility, consider the different lived experiences of others. Seek to understand as thoroughly as possible before responding. Be willing to change your mind."
Emotional intelligence isn't an individualistic pursuit.
"Sometimes childhood trauma arrests emotional development at a younger stage, or may cause you to become reactive in similar situations," Dr. Vinall states. "Such triggers can take you from the grounded potential of emotional intelligence to a defensive or reactive part of your personality. When such underlying issues are resolved, emotional intelligence can emerge naturally."

2010s Heavy Metal Band Suddenly Ends Concert After ‘Scary’ Emergency on Stage
The popular Swedish heavy metal band Avatar was performing a show in London, England, at the Exhibition White City venue on Feb. 14, when a passionate performance turned into a dangerous situation.
After about an hour of the band's set, a situation on stage led Avatar to abruptly stop the concert and cancel the rest of the show, due to fear for the safety of everyone in the venue.
Avatar's frontman, Johannes Eckerström, recounted what happened in a direct message for fans after the show, saying, "As you heard, we didn't make it quite to the finish line."
He went on, describing how "The whole stage became electrified. It burnt up some of our equipment, and it also shocked—severely shocked—two guys in our crew. We have deemed this venue not safe to perform in any longer."
"We could get hurt. We were simply lucky. The crew guys are fine now, so also lucky," Eckerström said, before asking fans if they can finish the concert in London on another night, as he continued, "This is not a safe place to be for you or for us, so, how about a rain check?"
He explained how the band will try to come back to London as soon as possible to make up for the concert cut short on Saturday, adding, "I think both you and us deserve that very much."
"You are amazing, we were pretty amazing too. Let's find an amazing place to finish this. Thank you," Eckerström concluded the earnest message shared to the band's Instagram.

"What we got was absolutely incredible and mindblowing. Cant wait to see you again," said one such fan, while similar comments read, "It was brief but oh so sweet," and "The hour we had was absolutely fantastic, we are buzzing."
Others shared notes of support, writing, "I’m glad you’re all okay, that’s scary!" and "Glad to hear that everyone is safe, that’s the most important thing and should be prioritized over the show."
As of writing, the band has not announced a new London concert date. Avatar performed their next show as scheduled in Manchester, England, on Feb. 15.

"I wanted to come on. It’s been two weeks since our mom was taken, and I just wanted to come on and say that we still have hope. We still believe, and I wanted to say to whoever has her, or knows where she is, that it’s never too late and you’re not lost or alone," Savannah said. Earlier on Feb. 15, the FBI confirmed that a glove found two miles from Nancy's Tucson-area home “matches” ones seen in a doorbell camera video of a potential suspect. However, the DNA results are pending.
“The FBI received preliminary results yesterday on 2/14 and are awaiting quality control and official confirmation today before putting unknown male profile into CoDIS, the national database unique to the bureau," a statement read. "This process typically takes 24 hours from when the bureau receives DNA."
The FBI urges anyone with tips or leads to call 1-800-CALL-FBI in addition to the Pima County Sheriff’s Office number, 520-351-4900. An $100,000 reward is currently being offered to anyone with information leading to Nancy or the arrest of her kidnapper.
1971 Rock Classic Ranked 'Weirdest Song' of All Time
Dutch rock bandFocus debuted their unusual and beloved song, "Hocus Pocus" in 1971. The song, which showcases singer and keyboardist Thijs van Leer's serious yodeling and flutist skills, was ranked as the number one "weirdest song of all time" by American Songwriter in 2024.
Other tunes that made the list include “Bike” by Pink Floyd, released in 1967, Napoleon XIV's 1966 song, “They’re Coming To Take Me Away, Ha-Haaa!," and “Muffin Man” by Frank Zappa, off the 1975 album, Bongo Fury.
In a 2021 interview withVRP Rocks, Van Leer, now 71, opened up about the creation of "Hocus Pocus." He recalled that one day the band's guitarist Jan Akkerman began playing what ended up being the song's opening notes, which Van Leer described as "one of the greatest licks in guitar history." According to Van Leer, their drummer, Pierre van der Linden, then joined in with a drum solo. The musician said that he eventually began yodeling.
"I started yodeling behind my organ. For the first time in my life. And that was it. That was the song. And we recorded it for the studio. And it became a big hit," said Van Leer in the 2021 interview.
He said that while he had never yodeled before that, he managed to be "kind of in tune."
"I think it was sounding immediately adequate," said Van Leer.
He also said he hasn't been able to sing the high notes in the song, which is off Focus's second album, Moving Waves, for quite some time.
"The high notes, I can not make anymore. Since my 50s. The yodeling I can do, but the go up, it doesn't happen, anymore. The guitarist is helping me and the public [at concerts]," said Van Leer during the interview with VRP Rocks.
Van Leer also noted that the 1971 song got them attention from audiences in the United States. He recalled enjoying being invited on American talk shows to perform "Hocus Pocus" in the early '70s.
"That was kind of nice. Because we had such a small audience," said Van Leer.
10 '80s Food Commercials That Lived Rent-Free in Our Heads
Growing up, many of us couldn’t wait for our favorite commercials to come on during TV breaks. We stayed glued to the screen, eager to see what would be advertised next. From beloved snacks making a comeback to brand-new products designed to make us beg our parents at the grocery store, those ads had us hooked.
Nothing excited kids—and even adults—more than a catchy commercial that lived rent-free in our minds. You know—the kind you’d randomly blurt out without even realizing it. And if you grew up in the '80s (or the '90s), then you know how impactful '80s food commercials have been on the culture.
Some of these commercials were so unforgettable that we still quote them today with friends and family. And we're willing to bet there are a few you’ve completely forgotten—until you see them again. The moment they pop up on your TV or social feed, that wave of nostalgia hits and suddenly, you’re sharing it on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok. And rightfully so.
So, if you're a lover of nostalgia, but don't feel like scrolling through social to get that hit, don’t worry—we’ve done the work. Here are 10 iconic ’80s food commercials guaranteed to take you back to a time when things felt fresh, authentic and unforgettable.
10 '80s Food Commercials You Need to See1. "This Is Your Brain On Drugs Commercial"—Partnership for a Drug Free America (1987)The “This Is Your Brain…This Is Your Brain On Drugs” PSA is one of the most iconic spots from the 1980s—a simple setup using an egg in a frying pan to show what drugs can do to your brain. It wasn’t trying to sell a product; it was trying to scare viewers straight with one unforgettable visual you couldn’t unsee.
The imagery and message were so bold that generations of kids still remember it decades later, making it a true example of how a powerful commercial (even a public service announcement) can live rent-free in our minds long after the ad break ended.
2. "Where's the Beef?"—Wendy's (1984)Though Wendy’s doesn’t lean on its “Where’s the Beef?” motto in everyday ads anymore, its unforgettable 1984 commercial is a major reason the phrase became more than just a tagline; it became a pop-culture staple.
Featuring Clara Peller demanding to know “Where’s the beef?” over a tiny burger patty, the humorous spot didn’t just sell burgers—it became a catchphrase used in everyday conversation—even politics—cementing Wendy’s place in advertising history.
3. "The Choice of a New Generation”—Pepsi (1985)Pepsi’s “The Choice of a New Generation” wasn’t just selling soda; it was selling attitude. With high-energy visuals, bold fashion and the pulse of pop culture, the campaign made cracking open a Pepsi feel like joining a movement.
Backed by superstar powerhouses like Michael Jackson and Madonna, the ads blended music, style and swagger into something bigger than a soft drink. It wasn’t about quenching thirst—it was about claiming your vibe, your era and your voice. That tagline turned Pepsi into more than a cola; it became a cultural stamp for a generation that wanted to stand out, be heard and sip on something that felt undeniably now.

4. "I Heard It Through the Grapevine”—The California Raisins (1986)The California Raisins ad wasn’t just another ’80s food commercial; it was a full-blown pop culture moment. A troupe of claymation, sunglass-wearing raisins grooving to a rendition of the 1960's classic single “I Heard It Through the Grapevine” turned an otherwise humble snack into a soulful, dance-loving sensation, helping boost raisin sales and spawning albums, TV specials, toys and even a cartoon series.
What started as a quirky marketing idea in 1986 became one of the most memorable animated food mascots of the decade and produced a jingle and look that still makes Gen Xers smile decades later.
5. “Mac Tonight”—McDonald's (1987)This legendary McDonald’s ad wasn't just serving late-night burgers. Instead, it’s delivered the jazzy, moonlit charm of one smooth crooning pianist. “Mac Tonight,” with his crescent-moon face and slick shades, serenaded viewers with a catchy tune that made even nighttime cravings feel cool.
The playful combination of music, quirky animation and irresistible charisma turned this commercial into more than a promo spot. It actually became a cultural moment you found yourself humming, laughing at and sharing, cementing its place as a nostalgic favorite that still lights up memories decades later.
6. “Silly Rabbit—Trix Are for Kids!” —Trix (1987)Unlike most cereal commercials, this classic cereal ad wasn't just about selling fruity shapes and breakfast. This iconic placement was about the endless, comical struggle of one determined bunny, telling a story that set the tone for the brand for decades. No matter how hard he tries to sneak a bowl of Trix, that mischievous rabbit always got stopped cold by the iconic line, “Silly rabbit—Trix are for kids!”
The catchy hook and the goofy chase made this more than a commercial to sell ereal to kids. It became one of those commercials you couldn’t help but repeat, laugh at or quote to friends years later, earning its place as a nostalgic favorite that hops around in your memory.
7. “Mikey Likes It”—Life Cereal (1988)This memorable “Mikey Likes It” commercial showcased the hilarious, unexpected victory of one picky kid. No matter how skeptical his siblings were, Mikey’s unplanned approval of Life Cereal turned the table, sparking laughter and disbelief with every crunch.
The simple premise, the iconic line and Mikey’s genuine reaction made this more than a breakfast ad and instead made it a cultural touchstone. It became a spot you couldn’t help but quote, share and remember fondly long after the milk settled.
8. “Ecto Cooler”—Hi-C (1989)Fans of classic food marketing still light up when this commercial comes to mind, because it didn’t just sell a snack—it defined a generation. In just 30 seconds, the ad captured hearts with its catchy tune and unforgettable scene (you know the one), turning a simple product into a cultural touchstone.
For many kids of the ’80s, this commercial wasn’t just background noise or a moment to jump up and grab a snack from the kitchen. Instead, it was appointment TV, and it stuck with us for decades after. It’s the kind of moment that still gets shared on social media, sparking nostalgia and laughs from anyone who remembers humming that jingle long after the TV went off.
9. "L'Eggo My Eggo!"—Eggo Waffles (1989)Brought to shoppers by the brand that we knew and love, this placement started a movement that would transcend well past the '80s and '90s. Showcasing the pure, irresistible joy of breakfast in the hands of kids everywhere, the now-iconic “L’Eggo my Eggo” line perfectly captured that playful tug-of-war between parents and their little waffle lovers.
The catchy slogan, the buttery visuals and the mischievous scramble to snag the last Eggo, made this commercial a phrase and a moment you couldn’t help but mimic, laugh at or share, cementing its place as a crispy, nostalgic favorite in pop culture.
10. “Like a Prayer”—Pepsi (1989)Pepsi and pop culture fans will forever remember the "Like a Prayer" commercial as one of the most talked-about ads in music and advertising history. The 120-second spot paired Pepsi with Madonna at the peak of her superstardom, blending her controversial hit "Like a Prayer" with bold, cinematic visuals that sparked conversation around the world.
While the ad was ultimately pulled due to backlash over the song’s religious imagery, it still stands as a defining moment where a soda commercial crossed over into mainstream music culture, proving that an ad could be as headline-grabbing as the chart-topping artist in it. Not too shabby, if you ask us!

This Netflix Star Would Crash 'The Bachelor' — Just Don't Ask Him to Hand Out Roses (Exclusive)
When one season of The Bachelor wraps, the same question always follows: Who’s getting the next call? ABC hasn’t officially revealed who will lead the upcoming season yet, but one rising Netflix star says his phone actually did ring — and while he passed on handing out roses, he’s not ruling out a surprise appearance someday.
During an exclusive interview with Parade, Pierson Fodé opened up about being contacted by the long-running reality franchise and why he ultimately said no.
“I don’t know how high up this went, but I actually did get that phone call,” Fodé, 34, shared. “I was so honored that they even thought of me for that. But I was just like, ‘I’m so busy right now,’ and I think my first and foremost love is making movies.”
View this post on InstagramThe actor explained his schedule was packed with filming commitments, leaving little room for reality TV. “I just don’t have enough time right now. I’m exhausted,” he recalled telling them. Still, he admitted the door isn’t completely closed. “Deep down, I still really want to go do a surprise visit on one of the shows. I think it’d be really fun,” he said, adding that if he ever found himself with a rare break in his schedule, a guest appearance on a friend’s show is something he’d happily consider: “I think that’d be really fun and funny!”
Fodé’s connection to the franchise isn’t random. In Netflix’s romantic comedyThe Wrong Paris, released September 12, 2025, he stars opposite Miranda Cosgrove as Trey McAllen III, a charming cowboy bachelor at the center of a reality-style dating show. Cosgrove plays a hopeful contestant who signs up thinking she’s headed to Paris, France, only to discover she’s been sent to Paris, Texas instead.
View this post on InstagramThe role helped position Fodé as a rising rom-com lead and, as he revealed during a September 2025 appearance on Harry Jowsey’s Boyfriend Material podcast, is likely what first put him on The Bachelor’s radar. During that conversation, the Bold and the Beautiful alum said “either casting or one of the producers” reached out after seeing the trailer. He described it as a “very quick conversation” and said he ultimately passed because he was “so busy” filming. (At the time, Fodé was filming multiple projects, including Robert Zemeckis’ thriller The Last Mrs. Parrish opposite Jennifer Lopez.)
But while reality TV may not be in the cards right now, Fodé hasn’t exactly been slowing down. The former Disney star recently popped up on one of the year’s biggest broadcasts, appearing alongside the Backstreet Boys in a Super Bowl LX commercial for T-Mobile, where the group delivered a playful reimagining of their iconic hit “I Want It That Way.”
The updated version swapped the original lyrics for tongue-in-cheek references to streaming, travel, and other phone-plan perks, while Fodé made a blink-and-you-miss-it appearance holding his now-famous handmade sign.
