In an Instagram update, the five-time Grammy winner gave fans a glimpse of her special day and true to form she doesn't call it a birthday but her “anniversary.”
“Anniversary weekend,” she captioned her post.

Before her weekend getaway, the award-winning singer, whose birthday fell on March 27, delivered a heartfelt message to her fans.
Carey announced that she is dropping a new orchestral version of her hit song “Nothing Is Impossible.”
"Lambs, Happy 3/27!! On my anniversary, I wanted to gift you something special as a thank you for the love you have always shown me,” the message reads as posted on her Instagram, adding "Nothing Is Impossible is a song that holds a very special place in my heart and knowing how much it means to you makes it even more so. 'Last Chance Kitchen' Spoilers: 'Top Chef' 23's First Two Chefs Battle Back
Top Chef: Carolinas finally sent its first two chefs to Last Chance Kitchen after sending the first two eliminated cheftestants straight home with no chance to battle their way back into the competition. So, which chef emerged victorious from the inaugural season 23 battle?
Spoilers ahead: This post discusses what happened on the first episode of Last Chance Kitchen for season 23. Don't keep reading if you don't want to be spoiled.

'Last Chance Kitchen's' First Face-OffThe first Last Chance Kitchen face-off came between Chef Nana Araba Wilmot of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, who was sent home last week, and Chef Brittany Cochran of Charlotte, North Carolina, who was sent home on the most recent Top Chef episode.
Ahead of the first battle, judge Tom Colicchio served them a delicious dish that consisted of braised red snapper with rosemary lemon vinaigrette and eggplant. He talked a lot about how he was classically French-trained, which, when he was younger, made him nervous to go back to his roots and cook Italian food. The ladies were excited, though obviously suspicious about why they weren't jumping right into their cook-off.
But Tom quickly explained that they were to prepare one plate of food that would showcase who they are as chefs and help them get back to basics.

Brittany made pan-seared halibut with grilled corn and tomato panzanella. Nana prepared pan-seared salmon with curry sauce and a tomato salad on top.
Tom liked both dishes, nobody put up a bad dish. He said of the food, "These are both really good. If you were cooking like this, you wouldn't be here right now," but in the end, he had to cut Brittany and kept Nana. Basically, it boiled down to Brittany not letting her bread chunks soak in all the delicious sauce because traditionally, that's what a panzanella salad does.

Nana Araba Wilmot: 1-0
Last Chance Kitchen drops on BravoTV.com immediately following each Top Chef episode on Monday nights at 10:45 p.m. ET, streaming the next day on Peacock.

What Were the Challenges on 'Top Chef' Season 23 Episode 4?Last year's winner Tristen Epps was on hand as the guest judge this week. The Quickfire Challenge tasked the chefs with creating a food flight using the Josh brand of wines as the inspiration. They had to use one red, one white and one rose and create a food flight, one dish to pair with each wine. They drew knives for their wine type and then had to split themselves into four groups of three that contained one of each wine type.
The groups were:
- Jennifer, Justin and Sieger
- Laurence, Rhoda and Sherry
- Anthony, Duyen and Jonathan
- Brittany, Oscar and Brandon
The winning team was the Blue Team (Jennifer, Justin and Sieger) with their egg dish flight. They won $15,000 to split.

The Elimination Challenge was based around traditional Southern side dishes: fried okra, hoe cakes, collard greens, potato salad, Charleston red rice, Hoppin' John and smothered cabbage.
They were tasked with each taking a side dish and turning it into an elevated main dish. They got to pick fresh, locally grown ingredients from nearby Deep Roots CPS Farm and were tasked with serving not only the judges' table but 40 other diners within a 90-minute window. Wow, that is tight.
The side dishes broke down thusly:
- Fried Okra: Sieger
- Hoe Cakes: Jonathan and Jennifer
- Collard Greens: Brittany and Anthony
- Potato Salad: Justin and Sherry
- Charleston Red Rice: Rhoda
- Hoppin' John: Laurence and Oscar
- Smothered Cabbage: Duyen and Brandon
Poor Brittany was using the steamer feature of the oven and discovered with about 19 minutes left to cook that her steamer wasn't on. Oof. She pivoted as best she could to a collard green wrap.
Related: Meet the Full Cast of ‘Top Chef’ Season 23
The best three dishes went to:
- Sieger with his braised okra and pork belly with seeded tempura for texture.
- Sherry with her marble potato salad with smoked trout, crispy potato chips and potato nage (nage is a light, aromatic broth).
- Laurence with his "Hoppin' Huang," a Chinese take on Hoppin' John with shitake mushrooms, butter beans and a cured egg yolk.
The winning dish went to Sieger—with OKRA, which regular Top Chef viewers know is one of Tom Colicchio's least favorite foods of all time and guest judge Tristen is also not a fan, so hats off to Sieger. He has immunity next week.
The three least successful dishes were:
- Anthony with his black eyed peas and ham fritter with braised collard greens and chadon beni sauce (a Caribbean sauce made with garlic, citrus, hot peppers and cilantro).
- Jennifer with her yeasted hoe cake with pot likker, butter beans, triple cream cheese and hot honey.
- Brittany with her collard green wrap with pork and fennel sausage inside on top of smoked tomato butter sauce.
Two of them (Anthony and Jennifer) got dinged for basically serving side dishes not main courses and both of their dishes were overly salty, while Brittany got dinged because her dish was just weird (but again, she had her issue with the steamer and had to pivot super last minute).
In the end, Brittany was sent home, which felt correct based on how the episode played out. But she's obviously a well-regarded chef and can maybe fight her way back from Last Chance Kitchen.
Top Chef airs Monday nights from 9:30 to 10:45 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo. All season 23 episodes will be supersized to 75 minutes.

The 'Exquisite' Book HGTV's Jenny Marrs Credits For Helping Her 'Fully Appreciate' Joy: 'We Are Back Home with Grateful Hearts'
Whenever HGTV's Jenny Marrs gives fans a small peek into her life behind the scenes, it always feels like a little gift. Not just because the Marrs' family seems pleasantly down-to-earth, but because she imparts something inspiring with almost every Instagram post. It's never preachy or anything, just a little something to think about as you go about your day.
Jenny and her fam recently took a spring break trip to the beach, and she brought along a great book to enjoy while the kids did their thing in the surf and sand. The Fixer to Fabulous star's beach read provided some inspiration for her own life, and she's passing it along to the rest of us.
The book in question is Theo of Golden by Allen Levi, which was published in 2023. Jenny calls the novel "exquisite" in a social media post that also shared photos of the fun her kiddos had during their vacation.
View this post on InstagramThere were a few lines in Theo of Golden that felt particularly poignant to the mom of five, particularly given the setting in which she was reading the book:
“It is another of life’s great mysteries that sadness and joy can coexist so compatibly with one another. In fact, I wonder if, on this side of heaven, either one can be complete without the other.”
The reason that passage resonated so deeply with Jenny is because her family was vacating in a spot they last visited with both sets of her kids' grandparents. She explained that it was during that getaway she and husband Dave became extremely concerned with his mom's dementia. She passed away in September 2025.
Related: Former HGTV Star Shares Her Top Tip for a Patio Refresh, and It's So Smart
What People Are SayingThe folks in the comments section of Jenny's post were full of compassion, with many noting what an impact that very same book had on them.
"It is a beautifully written book isn’t it?" wrote one person. "I’m listening to it now on Audible. Everyone needs to meet a Theo at some point of their lives. And everyone can learn from Theo… to look for the good in every person they meet."
Another comment also praised Theo of Golden.
"That was such a great book," they wrote. "Beautifully written and so profound."
May we all meet a Theo and, hopefully, be a Theo for someone in our lives.

1975 Hit Ranked Among 'Top Hard Rock Songs of the '70s' Got a 'Second Wind' Decades Later
If Foghat's 1975 classic "Slow Ride" has been more or less stuck in your head for years, you're definitely not alone. It might have peaked at #20 on the Billboard Hot 100 over 50 years ago, but it's still a major pop culture presence...partly because it lends itself so well to advertisements.
Songwriters take note: If you want your tune to be used in a bunch of car-related commercials, include the word "ride" in the title. "Slow Ride" has been featured in TV spots for Honda, Firestone, and Allstate (in a campaign encouraging slow driving, naturally), as well as Ace Hardware and others in the recent past. The song's "various uses in marketing" all helped to contribute to a sort of "second wind" in popularity, as Louder put it.
“Honda used it in a commercial, Guitar Hero brought in a whole new audience, various hamburger joints have used it,” Foghat drummer Roger Earl told the outlet. “And I don’t think Dave [Peverett, late Foghat frontman] would’ve been all that happy about that, because he was a vegetarian.”
Earl went on to note that, “oddly enough, 'Slow Ride' is as popular today as it was back then, probably more so."
"Even now, when there are 10,000 people out there screaming their heads off, it’s difficult not to get chills," Earl admitted. "I find that really gratifying, because it means that maybe the music we wrote back in the 70s actually means something and has stood the test of time. Hey, rock and roll is here to stay. Somebody else wrote that, didn’t they?”
It's no surprise that "Slow Ride" showed up on Ultimate Classic Rock's list of the “Top 50 Hard Rock Songs of the ’70s” in 2025, where it was ranked #38. (Years earlier, VH1 named it the 45th "Best Hard Rock Song" of all time, per Stereogum.) The track continues to attract plenty of listeners, too; at the time of this writing, "Slow Ride" has over 70 million streams on Spotify alone.
'Slow Ride' isn't really about drivingWhile car commercials might lead you to believe otherwise, "Slow Ride" isn't about driving at all, as Earl explained.
“Of course 'Slow Ride' is about sex,” he said. “All rock and roll songs are about sex, aren’t they? It’s either ‘I’ve just done it’ or ‘I’m thinking about doing it’ or ‘Thank you for letting me do it.’ It was inspired by women. We were very popular back then. It was the middle of the 70s, the band was doing really well and we had more money than sense.”
Thanks to "Slow Ride," the band made even more money...enough to buy Earl a Lamborghini, he added. (Maybe Lamborghini should try doing a "Slow Ride" commercial one of these days.)

Jenny McCarthy Opens up About the Devastating Health Issue That Caused ‘Six Months of Living Hell'
Jenny McCarthy is opening up about the devastating health issues that caused her to go through "six months of living hell."
The former model and TV host, 53, who rose to fame on MTV's Singled Out, is now known for her role as a judge on The Masked Singer. Married to New Kids on the Block alum Donnie Wahlberg, McCarthy has been living her best life... for the most part. But a horrific health issue stemming from “an infected root canal” that "wasn't cleaned out all the way" left McCarthy to go through an absolute nightmare.
In a preview clip published by Us Weekly of the upcoming episode of the “Heal Squad” podcast, hosted by Maria Menounos, McCarthy shared how the dental nightmare began.
“The last time I was here, I was literally on my way to the biological dentist because I had gone through six months of living hell,” she shared, noting that she got a jawbone infection with “three of these little toxic pools hiding underneath my wisdom teeth.”
To make matters worse, she started to have “growths on my eye,” which she describes as looking like the “nastiest whitehead, puss-filled eraser top.”
“I’m like, ‘What the heck is this?’ They’re like you’re not washing your eyes enough. I’m like bulls***,” McCarthy recalled.
View this post on Instagram What Did McCarthy's Doctor Tell Her?Soon, McCarthy's doctor figured out what the root of her issues was.
"The reason why you’re having constant infections, your body won’t heal, you’re oozing things, is because you have mold. You have mycotoxin poisoning,” her doctor told her, noting that the type of mold she has can cause seizures. “Mold releases this toxin in the dust particles, and what happens is most people … with good immune systems can handle it. People with weaker immune systems, people with leaky gut, candida, things I am already fighting [can ’t].”
Because she is antibiotic-resistant, her body couldn't fight off all those infections, despite taking a laundry list of antibiotics. Now, McCarthy is dealing with the infections by being "on a heavy-duty mold protocol."
To hear McCarthy's whole story, tune into her full episode of Heal Squad, which will be released on March 31.

Elizabeth Olsen Reveals The Thing She Hated Most About 'Multiverse of Madness'
Marvel Cinematic Universe actress Elizabeth Olsenrecently appeared during a panel at C2E2 and revealed what she hated the most about filming her most recent MCU movie, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Olsen, who plays Wanda Maximoff/the Scarlet Witch in the MCU, was introduced in Avengers: Age of Ultron, and she went on to have a massive influence on the franchise. After repeat appearances in all Avengers movies that followed, as well as Captain America: Civil War, Olsen starred in her own streaming series, WandaVision.
Throughout these many appearances, Wanda became all the more popular (and sympathetic, despite some villainous turns in her story). That made her demise in Multiverse of Madness incredibly controversial, to say the least. However, Olsen's recent comments during C2E2 suggest her biggest grievance with the movie wasn't the story.
Rather, during “The Scarlet Witch and Beyond: Elizabeth Olsen In Conversation” panel at C2E2, Olsen revealed that she hates scenes in which she has to be wet, and she spent a significant part of filming not only being soaking wet but also working under a series of uncomfortable circumstances, including dealing with massive fans blowing on set.

♬ original sound - eolsensourceWhile Olsen's complaint with Multiverse of Madness might have been with the water and wind, many fans are still frustrated with Wanda's story in the movie, which not only saw her repeating some of her massive mistakes from WandaVision that she had seemed to learn from, but also (seemingly) sacrificing herself to save the multiverse from the evil power of the Darkhold.
Wanda seemed to bring her own temple down on top of herself, thereby destroying herself and the Darkhold with her. However, many fans remain unconvinced that she is really dead in the MCU and are waiting to see whether she makes an appearance in an upcoming movie or show.
So far, she hasn't returned, even in Agatha All Along, which was essentially a sequel story to WandaVision, although she was mentioned many times in the show. New Avengers movies are coming, including Avengers: Doomsdayon December 18, 2026, and Avengers: Secret Wars on December 17, 2027, although Olsen isn't currently confirmed in either one.
Millie Bobby Brown Posts Rare Photo of Her Daughter
Stranger Thingsstar Millie Bobby Brownjust posted a rare photo of her daughter on Instagram, and fans can’t get enough of the absolutely adorable pic.
The 22-year-old actress and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, son of legendary rock icon Jon Bon Jovi, adopted the little girl last August, announcing their news in a sweet (photo-free) statement, “This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy. And then there were 3…Love, Millie and Jake Bongiovi.”
View this post on InstagramThe happy couple started their romance over five years ago and went public (sort of) in a 2021 Instagram post. Brown and Bongiovi tied the knot in May 2024. While the pair had an intimate family-only wedding, they held a larger, more public second wedding several months later in Tuscany.
In a November 2025 interview with British Vogue, Brown talked candidly about her (and Bongiovi’s) views on their daughter’s privacy, “For me, it’s really important to protect her and her story until she’s old enough to potentially one day share it for herself.”
The actress continued, “It’s not my place to purposefully put her in the spotlight unwillingly. If she chooses to share her personality one day with the world, like I did when I was young, that’s something we’d support. But right now she’s so little…As her parents, it’s our job to protect her from that.”
If you’re wondering just how seriously the Bongiovis take their little one’s privacy, the couple has yet to share her name. According to Brown, they’ll leave that decision to their daughter.
Even though she isn't a fan of public photos of her kiddo, Brown’s recent Instagram carousel includes a peek. One of the pics features a single teeny tiny hand resting on the family dog’s paw. And of course, fans assume those adorable fingers could only belong to one person—Brown’s daughter.
View this post on InstagramWhile fans can’t stop “Awwwing” over the sweet snapshot of the Enola Holmes star’s baby, it certainly wasn’t the only one Brown shared. The Instagram post also includes a sultry lace-clad selfie with her handsome hubby, a bouquet of fresh flowers, a blurred image from a night on the town, a Team USA jacket, and an on-the-farm pic with a portly pig. Captioned simply, “me and mii’s” fans clearly appreciate the look into life with Millie Bobby Brown.
Commenters sent love to the celeb mama, writing sweet sentiments such as “Millie Bobby Brown, you are my inspiration in life” and “So beautiful.”
The Law Jay Leno Has Been Pushing For Years Just Got Another Chance
Most people know Jay Leno as the guy who hosted The Tonight Show for over two decades. Fewer know he's been waging a quiet but persistent battle against California's emissions regulators—and it's all because of his cars.
75-year-old Leno's personal collection of classic and enthusiast vehicles, housed near his California home and estimated to be worth eight figures, puts him squarely at odds with a state that enforces some of the toughest emissions standards in the country.
For years, he's channeled that frustration into legislation. A series of bills bearing his informal stamp have become known around Sacramento as "Leno's Law," and after a setback in the California legislature, the latest version has found its way back to the State Senate, this time introduced by Senators Cortese and Grove.
The core of the debate comes down to who qualifies for an exemption. Right now, California draws a hard line at 1975—anything built before that year can potentially sidestep certain smog testing requirements, provided it's kept off daily commuter duty and reserved instead for parades, car shows, charitable events, and similar occasions. It's a narrow carve-out, and for collectors sitting on cars from the late '70s and early '80s, it's a door that's been firmly shut.
The new bill aims to push that door open. Under the proposed changes, the collector vehicle threshold would shift to any car at least 35 years old, with the cutoff creeping forward one model year at a time through 2032—eventually pulling vehicles built through 1986 into exemption territory. A 1981 model would be first in line if the legislation passes. Anyone newly exempt would also need to secure a certificate of compliance to qualify. The bill is deliberately narrow in scope. It won't flood California highways with vintage gas-guzzlers or meaningfully shift the state's emissions profile, but for collectors like Leno, that's more than enough reason to keep fighting for it.
MSC Is Sending Its Fan-Favorite Mega-Ship to the French Antilles for the First Time
If you’ve been looking for a reason to finally book a Southern Caribbean route, MSC Cruises just gave you a 22-deck-high incentive. The line just announced a major pivot for its Winter 2026-2027 season, redeploying its flagship MSC World Europa from the Middle East to the French Antilles.
Starting in November 2026, the ship will sail 7- and 14-night itineraries out of Martinique, Guadeloupe and Barbados—marking the very first time this specific class of ship has touched Caribbean waters.

View this post on InstagramFor travelers used to the standard "mega-ship" experience, the World Europa is a tangible level-up. The ship is built around a split-aft design—similar to the Oasis-class ships you might know—which opens up into a massive outdoor promenade. The showstopper here is "The Venom Drop @ The Spiral," an 11-deck-high stainless steel dry slide that acts as a literal (and very Instagrammable) shortcut from the upper decks down to the heart of the ship.
But the "wow" factors go beyond the adrenaline. The ship features 13 dining venues, including the "Chef’s Garden Kitchen," which houses the first hydroponic garden at sea where microgreens are grown and harvested right in the dining room. Parents will also find a massive win in the kids' department, with an 8,200-square-foot interior space designed in partnership with LEGO and Chicco—the largest in the MSC fleet.

While the ship was originally slated to spend the winter in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, this shift brings a "future of cruising" vibe to classic stops like St. Lucia, Grenada and St. Maarten.
If you were already booked on the MSC Seaview for this region, don't worry—you’ll still be sailing the same dates and route, just with a significant ship upgrade. As the line moves the Seaview to South America to make room, the World Europa is officially stepping in as the new "hero" of the Southern Caribbean.

Beloved ’70s Rocker Addresses Health Concerns
Legendary guitarist Keith Richards is opening up about how a long-standing health condition has changed the way he plays music, while also shaping a new outlook on his craft.
In a recent interview with Guitar World, the Rolling Stones icon shared that arthritis has affected his hands, making it harder to play the guitar the way he once did. Now 82, Richards admitted that he is no longer as fast as he used to be, but he has found ways to adjust and keep going.
“I’m not as fast as I used to be,” Richards said, explaining that age and physical limits have forced him to rethink his playing style. Despite this, he made it clear that his love for music has not faded.

Instead of seeing the condition as a setback, Richards described it as a learning experience.
“At my age, what I find most interesting about the guitar is you can compensate for certain disabilities and nimbleness and find other ways of getting around the problem,” he said. “And it teaches you another thing – you never stop learning with the damn thing. I love it, and it’s my friend forever.”
Richards revealed that arthritis has caused his knuckles to grow larger, which sometimes makes it harder for him to move his fingers on the guitar. However, he said the condition does not cause him pain, it simply requires adjustments.
“Well, I do have arthritis and very large knuckles,” he explained. “They don’t hurt, but it does get in the way sometimes.”
To cope, the guitarist has started using a wider fingerboard on his instrument. This small change helps him play more comfortably and continue performing despite the physical challenges.
Richards’ ability to adapt reflects the same creativity that made him one of rock’s most respected musicians. Known for his signature riffs and rhythm-driven style, he has spent more than six decades shaping the Rolling Stones' sound alongside bandmate Mick Jagger.
Even with his condition, Richards approaches each day with a sense of humor and determination.
“Honestly, I just look at my hands, and my hands look at me, and we say, ‘Well, let’s see what we can do today,’” he shared. “And that’s the way I play guitar.”
While Richards continues to adjust to his health condition, the Rolling Stones remain active. The band last toured in 2024 across North America to support their 2023 album Hackney Diamonds.
Richards’ son, Marlon, hinted that the group may already have enough material for another album. According to him, the band is motivated after recent success and is eager to continue creating.
However, large-scale touring plans appear to be on hold. Reports from earlier this year suggested that Richards was unable to commit to a long, demanding tour schedule due to the physical challenges associated with his arthritis.
A band representative told Variety in December 2025 that they would return to the stage “when they’re good and ready,” making it clear that retirement is not currently on the table.
For now, Richards seems content taking things at his own pace. In early 2026, he appeared relaxed and in good spirits in a New Year’s video message, showing fans that he is still very much engaged with life and music.
Even as arthritis reshapes his technique, Richards continues to find joy in the guitar that helped define rock music.

Disney Child Star Was Found Dead 58 Years Ago Today — Why No One Knew He’d Died for More Than a Year
Disney child star Bobby Driscoll’s Hollywood story came to a tragic end with his untimely death.
Born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on March 3, 1937, a young Driscoll was discovered by his barber at age 5 after his family relocated to California.
“My dad used to take me to a barber in Pasadena whose son was in the movies,” Driscoll recalled in a 1954 interview. “The barber liked me, so he spoke to his son and his son spoke to his agent and his agent spoke to a director who was arranging a tryout for a part with Margaret O’Brien in Lost Angel.”
After Driscoll landed the uncredited role in the 1943 film, he caught the attention of Walt Disney himself, becoming the first actor to sign a long-term contract with Walt Disney Studios when he was cast as Johnny in the 1946 live-action movie Song of the South. He went on to appear in subsequent Disney films So Dear to My Heart in 1949 and Treasure Island in 1950 before voicing the titular character in the 1953 Disney animated classic Peter Pan.
Driscoll—who won a juvenile Oscar for his performance in the 1949 RKO film The Window—was released from his Disney contract in 1953, effectively ending his partnership with the studio. He continued to act until 1960, booking small television parts and starring in the 1958 movie The Party Crashers.
Amid his career decline, Driscoll developed an addiction to heroin and had multiple run-ins with police. He was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia in October 1959, though he was later acquitted of the charge. The following year, he was taken into custody for assault with a deadly weapon, but the felony assault charges against him were later dropped.
In 1961, Driscoll was arrested twice within a matter of weeks—first in April for suspicion of burglary of cash and checks from a veterinarian’s office (the charges were ultimately dismissed) and then in May for cashing a stolen check and driving under the influence of drugs. He pleaded guilty to both of those charges, receiving a sentence of six months of drug addiction treatment at the California Institute for Men in Chino.
“I’m not really sure why I started using narcotics,” he told a reporter at the time. “I was 17 when I first experimented with the stuff. In no time at all I was using whatever was available, mostly heroin, because I had the money to pay for it.”
After completing his addiction treatment, Driscoll reportedly remained in California until his probation ended in 1964, working as a carpenter and maintaining his sobriety. He subsequently moved to New York City, where he struggled to find acting gigs due to his past substance abuse. By late 1967, he was no longer in contact with his family and friends.
On March 30, 1968, two children discovered Driscoll’s body on a cot in an abandoned New York apartment building. He was 31. A medical examiner determined Driscoll’s cause of death to be atherosclerosis, which is the hardening of the arteries. His heart failure was caused by his previous drug use.
Since there was no identification found on Driscoll’s body and no one in the area recognized him either, he was considered a John Doe and buried in an unmarked grave in New York City. More than a year passed before Driscoll’s family learned his fate. His mother, Isabelle, later publicly shared the news of her son’s death in 1971 leading up to the theatrical return of Song of the South.
“In October 1969, Bobby’s father was dying,” she told a reporter at the time. “He asked to see Bobby. I called Disney Studios and asked if anyone there knew where my son was.”
When Disney tried to track down Driscoll, fingerprint records confirmed his death. Despite the heartbreaking outcome, Isabelle was grateful her son was not on drugs when he died.
“He told us that he would straighten himself out. And we know he kept his promise,” she said. “Police reports state that he was clean at the time of his death. There were no traces of heroin in his body. There were no puncture marks on his arms, and no paraphernalia was found in his apartment.”
If you or someone you know is struggling with addiction, help is available 24 hours a day through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Hotline at 1-800-662-4357.
