"Her name's Ann Michael, not just Ann," he clarified. "I don't like people calling her 'Ann' and she doesn't like it either."

Ann Michael is a social media influencer, amassing more than half a million followers on TikTok alone (and nearly just as many on Instagram as well).

In a recent viral video, Ann Michael showed her TikTok followers what she's packing to bring to the 2026 Super Bowl.

“Pack with me for the Super Bowl. I’m so excited,” Ann Michael gushed as she showed off her millennial pink suitcases. “I have this adorable Away luggage. It’s seriously so cute, [and] we’re going with a huge bag this time—maybe even the carry-on too.”

“We’re starting with jeans. This might be criminal, but I have more jeans than the amount of days. Now, we’re just throwing in some tops,” she said.

Somewhat bafflingly, for as many jeans as she packed, she only packed two pairs of pajamas.

She also packed a bunch of workout wear, six pairs of shoes, toiletries, makeup and several purses and jackets.

“This bag is all ready to be zipped up. She’s a heavy one [and I have this] cute luggage tag that says, ‘Go Pats 10,’" she said. "I’m going to put on there. Now, the big bag is done, [and] I’m just going to throw a few things in [my] carry-on.”

In addition to all that, she also packed a carryon with a Harry Potter book, a mini mahjong game, a book of Christian devotionals, a journal, a Patriots hat and needlepoint supplies. (She also documents making her custom needlepoint luggage tags for her and Drake!)

Ann Michael is also an avid baker. In December 2025, she started a "Bakemas" video series in which she baked something different every day for 25 days leading up to Christmas, per Boston.com. In early 2026, she took her skills to NBC Boston with her show Beyond Bakemas. Of all of her sweet treats, she says that her cinnamon roll snickerdoodles are Drake's favorites.

How long have Drake Maye and his wife been together?

The couple have been together for more than a decade, which is sort of crazy when you consider the fact that Drake is just 23 and Ann Michael is just 22. That's because these two go way back—they were middle school sweethearts!

In an October 2024 Instagram post marking their ninth anniversary, Ann Michael wrote, "9 years with you and it keeps getting better everyday❤️ I couldn’t imagine my life with out [sic] you as my best friend. I love you more than you know!"

On TikTok, she posted a video of her and Drake through the years set to "So High School" by Taylor Swift and captioned it "So Middle School*."

The couple got engaged in January 2025 and tied the knot that June at the Grandfather Golf and Country Club in North Carolina on June 21, 2025.

And yes, Drake is well aware that he married Ann Michael when they were both quite young, and he doesn't care what the world thinks about it.

“My teammates have the right to whatever they choose but I would definitely advise them to eventually get married,” he said in a pre-Super Bowl press conference. “It’s one of the best things I’ve experienced in my life. There’s no better feeling than coming home to a wife that loves you and cares for you.”

He added, “I know my teammates, some of them are experiencing different parts of their life. I chose to get married young, and I don’t regret it one bit.”

Yes, she did! Ann Michael and Drake Maye both went to University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with Ann Michael beginning her higher education in 2021. Kraft Wasn't Selected For the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class

Earlier this month, it was announced that Kraft, who has owned the Pats since 1994, did not receive enough votes from the 50-person selection committee to be included in the Class of 2026, ESPN reported. He wasn't the only longtime member of Patriots Nation to receive the snub: Bill Belichick, who coached the team for 24 seasons before parting ways with the organization in 2024, was also snubbed. He won eight Super Bowls during his coaching career.

In response to the snub, Kraft made it clear that his focus is on winning on Super Bowl Sunday.

"What matters to me is we win Sunday," Kraft shared during an interview on CNBC's Squawk Box. "That's a function of how the team we're invested in and organize [is judged]."

Kraft Has a Friend in Kendall Jenner

Back in January, Kraft took to Instagram to send a message to model and reality starlet Kendall Jenner, after it was reported that she bet $1 million that the Patriots would win the Super Bowl.

"I don't believe that thing about the Kardashian curse," Kraft said. "We've been underdogs plenty of times, and we've done okay. Let's do it together."

Lindsey Vonndid suffer an injury in a crash during the women’s downhill event that took place in Italy on Sunday, Feb. 8. Vonn, 41, was just 13 seconds into her run when her right shoulder clipped a gate, sending her body tumbling in mid-air. The athlete was airlifted to a nearby hospital where she underwent a medical evaluation. Now, we have an update.

"Lindsey Vonn sustained an injury, but is in stable condition and in good hands with a team of American and Italian physicians," the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team said in a statement posted on X.

We can also confirm that Vonn underwent surgery on Sunday.

"In the afternoon, she underwent orthopedic surgery to stabilize the fracture sustained in her left leg," the hospital said in a statement, according to Reuters.

Vonn's family, including her sister, Karin Kildow, were in the crowd to watch Vonn's history-making run. They were left completely shocked when Vonn went down.

"That definitely was the last thing we wanted to see. It happened quick," Kildow said on the NBC News broadcast. "So when that happens you’re just immediately hoping she’s okay. It was scary because when you start to see the stretchers being put out, that is not a good sign."

"I know she put her whole heart into it and sometimes, just, like, things happen,” Kildow continued, adding, "It’s a very dangerous sport. And there are a lot of variables at play. I don’t really know exactly what happened. It did look like a pretty rough fall. We’re just hoping for the best."

Vonn's wipe out on February 8 marks her second crash in two weeks While. competing in the women’s World Cup in Switzerland, on Friday, January 30, Vonn was airlifted to a hospital after that crash, and soon learned that she'd torn her ACL.

Vonn received clearance from her medical team to compete in the Olympics despite her injury.

"I know what my chances in these Olympics were before this crash, and even though my chances aren’t the same now, there is still a chance. And as long as I have a chance, I will not lose hope. I will not give up! It’s not over yet," she wrote on Instagram on February 3.

That spirit made it a perfect fit for Liquid Death's unforgettable Super Bowl commercial, which aired during Super Bowl LVI in 2022. Rather than leaning into traditional beer-commercial tropes, the ad flipped expectations entirely.

Set to a sound-alike studio cover of "Breaking the Law," the commercial depicts children partying wildly in slow motion, mirroring the exaggerated chaos of classic alcohol ads. The twist, of course, is that the kids aren't drinking beer at all; they're chugging cans of Liquid Death water. The final moment lands the joke, revealing an approving adult cracking open her own can followed by a reveal of her pregnant belly.

Grunge praised the ad for capturing the rebellious energy of the song while subverting it with humor, calling the pairing a perfect match between a classic metal anthem and a brand that markets water as if it were dangerous contraband.

More than four decades after its release, "Breaking the Law proved it could still shock, entertain, and connect with a massive audience, earning its place at the top of Super Bowl advertising history.

It occurred on the Jazz Cruise aboard Celebrity Cruises’ Summit during an eight-day cruise that left Fort Lauderdale, Fla. on Jan. 27 with stops in the Bahamas and San Juan.

Peplowski was found dead in his cabin after he failed to show up for a scheduled performance, per TMZ.

The jazz musician’s death recalls a similar tragic situation that occurred two years ago.

Alternative rock musician, actor and DJ Mojo Nixon died on Feb. 7, 2024, also at the age of 66, onboard the annual Outlaw Country Cruise, where he had appeared multiple times both as a performer and co-host, per Variety.

Best known for the 1987 novelty hit “Elvis Is Everywhere,” Nixon had performed the previous night, had breakfast with bandmates and friends and was later found in his cabin. His family said Nixon died from a cardiac event.

In the case of Peplowski, no cause of death has been announced but he had been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a form of blood cancer, in 2021.

His death was announced onboard the cruise ship to “a lot of gasps and then silence,” according to TMZ, before the night’s main concert.

In a post on Instagram, Michael Lazaroff, executive director of Signature Cruise Experiences, publicly announced Peplowski’s death.

“We are sad to report that our dear friend Ken Peplowski died yesterday. Ken was a beloved member not only of The Jazz Cruise family, but of the larger international jazz community as well."

“He was a great musician, but he was also one of the very best entertainers ever,” he added. “I do not know any musician who respected the bandstand more than Ken. He was always prepared, love performing with his fellow musicians, and, man, could he play!”

Similarly, Nixon’s death two years ago was announced by his family in a statement on Facebook .

“August 2, 1957 — February 7, 2024 Mojo Nixon. How you live is how you should die. Mojo Nixon was full-tilt, wide-open rock hard, root hog, corner on two wheels + on fire…,” his family said. “Passing after a blazing show, a raging night, closing the bar, taking no prisoners + a good breakfast with bandmates and friends.

“A cardiac event on the Outlaw Country Cruise is about right… & that’s just how he did it, Mojo has left the building,” the statement continued. “Since Elvis is everywhere, we know he was waiting for him in the alley out back. Heaven help us all.”

“Now that I’m in the NFL, I’m just trying to model my game after myself," he said. "There’s things you try to take from players. But I wouldn’t say I’m trying to model my game after anybody anymore. I’m at the stage now where I’m an NFL quarterback and trying to make a name for myself.”

If you’re already thinking ahead to summer travel—or even glancing at plans tied to the 2026 World Cup—there’s a subtle trend worth noting. According to Forbes, new airline booking data shows fewer Europeans are locking in trips to the U.S. for next summer, even as organizers remain confident the tournament will still deliver a massive economic boost.

According to Cirium, a global aviation analytics firm, airline bookings from Europe to the U.S. for July 2026 are down 14.22% compared to last year. The sharpest drops are coming from major gateway cities including Frankfurt, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris, Munich and Athens. The data reflects tickets booked through online travel agencies between early October 2025 and the end of January 2026.

Zooming in specifically on World Cup timing, bookings from Europe to U.S. host cities for June 2026 are down about 5%, according to Cirium, while demand from Asia is down 3.6%. South America, meanwhile, is essentially flat. That matters because FIFA has advised host cities to expect roughly a 50/50 split between domestic and international visitors.

So what’s behind the hesitation? It’s not currency. According to Forbes, the U.S. dollar is down 12% against the euro compared to last year, making American trips more affordable—not less. Cirium spokesperson Mike Arnot told Forbes, “It is difficult to ascertain with specificity what may be depressing demand. It could be anyone of these factors, and a combination of all of them.”

Some European governments have also updated travel advisories following recent unrest in Minneapolis. Ireland advised citizens to “exercise caution in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, where tensions are high following recent ICE activities.” Germany warned that “demonstrations sometimes lead to violent clashes with immigration and security authorities” and urged travelers to “be vigilant and stay away from crowds where violence might occur.”

Still, U.S. tourism officials are pushing back on any suggestion that the World Cup itself is at risk. Erik Hansen of the U.S. Travel Association told Forbes, “The truth of the matter is that registrations for [World Cup] tickets far exceed the tickets that are available,” adding that some coverage has been “alarmist and inaccurate.”

That said, interest in the tournament itself hasn’t cooled. According to FIFA, more than 500 million ticket requests were submitted during the FIFA World Cup 2026 Random Selection Draw application period, underscoring just how intense global demand remains for matches across host cities.

The gap between ticket interest and current flight bookings helps explain why tourism officials aren’t sounding alarms yet. Many fans appear committed to attending but haven’t locked in travel plans—a pattern that isn’t unusual for large, multi-city events where accommodations, visas and flight prices often come together later.

Because the promise ring is typically a precursor to an engagement ring, most girlfriends will wear it on the ring finger of their left hand, just like an engagement ring. However, this is not a rule that you have to follow. 

Another trendy way to wear a promise ring is on a pinky finger. Kind of like the pinky promise you may have made with a friend as a child, it could have a unique meaning to you on the pinky. Others opt for the ring finger of their right hand or the middle finger of their left hand.

Travolta welcomed his kids with late wife, Kelly Preston, who died from breast cancer in 2020 at age 57. The pair also shared a third child, their firstborn son, Jett, who tragically died at the age of 16 in 2009 after suffering a seizure during a family vacation in the Bahamas.

Benjamin was born nearly two years after Jett's death, and recent reports revealed that he is alleged to be the biological child of Riley Keough, daughter of Lisa Marie Presleyand granddaughter to Elvis and Priscilla Presley.

The claims were made in a lawsuit filed by Priscilla's former business partner Brigitte Kruse, who alleged that Travolta and Preston used Keough's eggs to conceive Ben, and that Keough was paid between $10,000 and $20,000 and received an old Jaguar as part of the agreement.

However, neither Keough nor Travolta have confirmed that Ben is the biological child of Keough. Priscilla's attorney, Marty Singer, has previously condemned the claims made in Kruse's lawsuit, accusing the plaintiff of having "demonstrated that there is no bar too low, no ethical line that they are unwilling to cross in an effort to cause further pain to Priscilla Presley and her family."

"These recent outrageous allegations have absolutely nothing to do with the claims in this case," her attorney further claimed, calling the allegations made in the suit, "shameful."

As a preventative cardiologist at Vital Heart & Vein, Dr. Patrick Kee, MD, Ph.D has too often seen people discover that they have high blood pressure only after a crisis, like a heart attack, happens to them.

"We call hypertension the 'silent killer' because it works in the shadows, damaging your vascular system for years without a single outward symptom," Dr. Kee tells Parade.

Unfortunately, a heart attack is not the only scary event or issue that can happen as a result of hypertension. That's why he describes the 2025 American Heart Association and American College of Cardiology blood pressure guidelines as "transformative."

"Managing blood pressure is no longer just about avoiding a heart attack," Dr. Kee says. "It's about protecting your brain from dementia and your kidneys from failure."

He adds that managing blood pressure numbers is one of the most important modifiable risk factors for protecting your health and longevity. But how?

The good news: There are many tools to help you achieve and maintain healthy blood pressure numbers. Lifestyle habits, such as reducing salt intake, are usually first-line treatments for elevated blood pressure. Yet, sometimes, you may benefit from blood pressure medication.

"Hypertension is a formidable opponent, but under the 2025 guidelines, it is a manageable and preventable condition," he explains. "Through accurate detection and committed change, you have the power to protect your heart, your mind and your future."

That sounds like a good foundation for a plan to prevent hypertension from getting in the way of a life you love. Dr. Kee shares how to tell when it's time to start blood pressure medication, using the most up-to-date guidance. Here's what to know before your next doctor's appointment.

What Your Blood Pressure Numbers Mean

Before digging into the specifics on what blood pressure readings warrant discussing medication, it's helpful to understand what the numbers even mean.

Dr. Kee cites the latest AHA blood pressure guidelines, which state:

Blood pressure category

Important note: "If your systolic and diastolic numbers fall into different categories, you are designated to the higher category," Dr. Kee explains. "For instance, 135/92 is stage 2 hypertension."

Now, you may look at the chart above and do a double-take. Previous guidelines put the target for healthy blood pressure at 130/80 mm Hg. Now, that's stage 1 Hypertension.

"This '20 is the new 130' sentiment is driven by evidence that lower targets maximize protection against cognitive decline, stroke and total mortality," he reveals. "These categories are designed to trigger intervention earlier, preventing irreversible vascular damage before it escalates."

When To Go on Blood Pressure Medication, According to a Cardiologist

Generally, cardiologists will recommend medication (or at least discuss the option) if you have stage 1 hypertension (130–139 mm Hg/80–89 mm Hg). Yet, Dr. Kee emphasizes that cardiologists like himself avoid a one-size-fits-all approach to blood pressure management. They take a lot into account, including your risk factor for hypertension.

"We now use the PREVENT calculator, a tool that estimates your 10-year risk of total cardiovascular disease—including heart failure and kidney function, which older calculators ignored," he explains. "Crucially, this tool is now used for adults starting at age 30."

Here's a general idea of what's probably going through your doctor's mind as they outline your personalized treatment plan for blood pressure:

• Stage 1 hypertension + high risk: If you have stage 1 BP (130–139/80 9) AND a PREVENT risk 7.5% or more, diabetes, chronic kidney disease (CKD), or prior heart disease, Dr. Kee says your team will advise you to go on medication right away and make lifestyle changes.
• Stage 1 hypertension + low risk: "If your risk is less than 7.5%, we recommend a 3- to 6-month trial of lifestyle interventions first," he explains. "If your BP remains at or above 130/80 after this period, we start medication to prevent target organ damage."
• Stage 2 hypertension (≥140/90): Dr. Kee says it's best to start medication right away, regardless of your PREVENT risk score.

Now, importantly: A doctor won't diagnose hypertension based on one high reading. "A single high reading in a doctor’s office is a signal for investigation, not an automatic diagnosis," Dr. Kee says. "Blood pressure is highly variable and sensitive to your environment."

For instance, you might experience the "white-coat effect" (doctor's office-induced stress). Caffeine and recent exercise can also increase blood pressure. If you get a high reading, the doctor may have you take your blood pressure again later in the visit or ask you to monitor it at home to pinpoint potential patterns.

Strategies for Lowering Blood Pressure Naturally

Medication is a valuable tool for lowering your blood pressure, but it's usually not the first option a cardiologist will reach for.

"Non-pharmacological therapy is the foundation of all management," Dr. Kee notes. "For many, these changes can lower blood pressure as effectively as a first-line medication."

He says you can lower blood pressure through lifestyle habits like:

• Following a DASH eating pattern (lots of fruits and vegetables, whole grains and low-fat dairy)
• Lowering sodium intake (ideally 1,500 mg or under, about one teaspoon daily)
• Logging regular physical activity (150 minutes or moderate-intensity or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity cardio, plus two days of resistance training per week)
• Maintaining a healthy weight
• Abstaining from alcohol use

Sometimes, your team will suggest medication. Dr. Kee says that the first four recommendations are usually:

• Thiazide-type diuretics
• Calcium channel blockers (CCBs)
• ACE Inhibitors
• Angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs)

"For stage 2 patients, the 2025 guidelines prefer a single pill containing two medications," he adds.

Remember, the goal is safety, not shame about your body or lifestyle. "Think of medication as a biological shield," Dr. Kee says. "It is not a sign of failure, but a strategic tool to keep your blood vessels young and protect your heart, brain and kidneys."
