The Lincoln Lawyer has begun production on Season 5 of the high-stakes legal drama based on the bestselling novels by Michael Connelly, and Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), who got the nickname Lincoln Lawyer because he previously operated out of his Lincoln automobile, is once again a free man after having been exonerated of a murder for which he was nicely framed.

That said, there’s a new mystery for Mickey to tackle, as in the Season 4 cliffhanger, the Armenian mob attempted to assassinate him, and he was pushed to safety by a woman who claims to be his sister. Is she? Possibly. Season 5 will be based on Resurrection Walk, but since the rights to the character of Harry Bosch is owned by Prime Video, this new sister Emi (Cobie Smulders), a character that isn’t found in the books, could be filling the familial gap left by being unable to use Bosch.

When is The Lincoln Lawyer Season 5 release date?

Season 5 of The Lincoln Lawyer has just begun production, and is set to film from March 2 to July 9, 2026, so look for it in early 2027 if it follows the pattern of Season 4, which premiered on Feb. 5, 2026.

The fifth season will be inspired by the seventh book in The Lincoln Lawyer book franchise, Resurrection Walk, by Michael Connelly. 

How did Season 4 of The Lincoln Lawyer end?

Season 4 of The Lincoln Lawyer was all about Mickey Haller’s fight to prove he was innocent of murder and that the body discovered in his car at the end of Season 3 was put there to frame him. Mickey’s made a lot of enemies during his career, so it takes him a while to figure out who was responsible. In the end, Alex Gazarian (Michael A. Goorjian) had Sam killed and framed Mickey but proving it wasn’t going to be easy.

When things looked the darkest, Mickey got help from his ex-wife Maggie, who put her life in San Diego on hold to join his legal team, and in the end, he was exonerated and got an apology from the District Attorney to clear his reputation.

But just like the surprise ending of Season 3 where Mickey was arrested for murder, Season 4 ended with another cliffhanger. Mickey was returning to his car after shopping for groceries when there’s a drive by aimed at him by the Armenian mob, and he’s pushed to safety by a woman named Emi, who he saw in the grocery and who tells him, “Actually, I’m your sister.”

The political thriller, created by Dan Fogelman, has been renewed for a third and what will likely be its final season. Two weeks before the Season 2 finale, Paradise star Sterling K. Brown announced the renewal news in a video, "love actuallying" the camera like Link (played by Thomas Doherty) did earlier in the season.

When is the Paradise Season 3 release date?

No premiere date has been announced just yet, but judging by the timing of Season 2, it seems possible that Season 3 could arrive in 2027. The showed first premiered in January 2025 and returned for its second season in February 2026.

The Season 3 cast hasn't been confirmed, but the series stars Sterling K. What will happen in Season 3 of Paradise?

Fans will first have to tune in and see how Season 2 ends on March 30. Discussing what Season 2 is building towards, executive producer and writer John Hoberg teased in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, "It is setting up that there are a lot of things going on in two different places. And if I were a viewer, I would wonder if those two different things might come together at some point."

Will there be a Season 4 of Paradise?

Sadly, it doesn't seem so. Fogelman, the creator, has said in the past that he has a "plan for three seasons of the show."

Hoberg spoke about formulating the "three-season idea" in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, published in February 2026. "We knew we were in the bunker season one, and we knew we were going out and Xavier [Sterling K. Brown] was going to look for his wife [in season two]. We also knew that we were headed for a collision of two different worlds," Hoberg said.

In the same interview, Hoberg admitted, "We know what the end is, and it's an end that would make it very difficult to make a season four come afterward."

That includes Nancy Silverton in Los Angeles, a James Beard Award-winning chef known for her Italian cooking at Osteria Mozza. In Chicago, Jenner Tomaska brings a fine-dining background from Michelin-starred Esmé, while New York's Fariyal Abdullahi blends global influences shaped by her Ethiopian heritage and travels.

Elsewhere, Houston is represented by Justin Yu, a James Beard Award winner, and San Francisco by David Barzelay, whose restaurant Lazy Bear has earned two Michelin stars. Washington, D.C., adds a French-meets-Mexican perspective from chefs Isabel Coss and Matt Conroy.

The international lineup is just as strong, with chefs tied to cities like London, Tokyo and São Paulo. It's not just a celebrity chef name-drop situation. These are chefs whose restaurants people plan entire trips around.

If you pay extra to watch Prime Video without ads, that price is about to jump. Starting April 10, Amazon is raising the ad-free add-on from $2.99 to $4.99 per month, a 67% increase. The tier is also getting a rebrand: it's now called "Prime Video Ultra."

The extra $2 a month does come with some upgrades. Ultra subscribers will get up to five concurrent streams (up from three), 100 offline downloads (up from 25), Dolby Atmos audio, and exclusive access to 4K and UHD streaming. That last part is worth paying attention to, because 4K is being pulled from the standard plan entirely. If you want the best picture quality going forward, you're paying for it.

There's also an annual option at $45.99 per year, which saves about 23% compared to the monthly rate.

Here's where the math gets interesting. The ad-free add-on only works on top of an Amazon Prime membership, which costs $14.99 per month or $139 a year. That means watching Prime Video without commercials now runs roughly $19.98 a month, or close to $240 a year. Before January 2024, ad-free viewing was just included with Prime at no extra cost.

That changed when Amazon introduced ads to the baseline service in early 2024 and started charging $2.99 to skip them. The move prompted a class-action lawsuit from subscribers who felt blindsided by the change. A federal judge dismissed the case in July 2025, ruling that the addition of ads was a "benefit modification" authorized under Amazon's subscriber agreements, not a price increase.

Amazon isn't exactly struggling with the ad-supported model, either. Per the company's latest earnings report, Prime Video now has more than 315 million ad-supported viewers globally, up from 200 million in April 2024. Amazon's advertising revenue for 2025 hit $68.6 billion, a 22% jump year over year.

The price hike puts Amazon in the same neighborhood as its competitors. Netflix's ad-free plan runs $17.99 a month. Disney+ charges $18.99. HBO Max is $18.49. Amazon's all-in total of $19.98 is right in that range, though it's the only one that requires a separate membership just to access the streaming service in the first place.

According to a Reviews.org survey, U.S. consumers spent an average of $3,350 a year on streaming and connectivity in 2025. Nearly every major service raised prices last year, and Amazon is now following suit again.

The new pricing takes effect April 10. Current ad-free subscribers will be automatically moved to the Ultra tier at the higher rate unless they cancel.

The war comedy-drama was a TV success when it originally aired in 1972 and was created by Larry Gelbart. It was based on the first original spin-off series adapted from the 1970 film of the same name, and the 1968 novel by Richard Hooker. While characters come and go, how M*A*S*H handled the characters' departure is what got fans heated and going against CBS and 20th Century Fox. Radar O'Reilly (Gary Burghoff) is informed that Colonel Henry has all the requirements to be discharged from the army and head home.

The episode shows Colonel Henry phoning his family about the good news, and an emotional moment where Radar reveals to his comrade that he saw him as a father figure. He gifts Colonel Henry an engraved Rolex as a parting gift, and a party is later thrown in his honor, where the main characters gift him a tailored civilian suit to go home in.

Radar and Colonel Henry have another emotional sendoff, but it's later revealed by a shaken Radar that his plane was shot down over the Sea of Japan and there were no survivors. "Abyssinia, Henry" with a montage of the character throughout the three seasons.

The character's death was reported to have caused over 1,000 letters from fans either in support or hating the finale. Many felt Colonel Henry's death was "cheap," and Reynold's received personal letters from fans vowing to never watch the series again. At first, producers Gene Reynolds and Gelbart wrote handwritten letters explaining their decision that ties into the series's overall reality of war.

The M*A*S*H Season 3 finale also didn't sit well with executives, with CBS and 20th Century Fox openly showing their distaste for the character's sudden death. They even went as far as to air reruns of the episode without the final scene.

Stevenson ultimately left the series to pursue other interests, and his departure was announced before the episode aired. After the finale aired, he even appeared on an episode of Cher, parodying the plane crash that killed his character.

Karla Mosley is opening up about the unique experience of joining a brand-new soap opera. During a recent appearance on The Gatekeepers Podcast, the Beyond the Gates star discussed the differences between launching a new series, the writing that has impressed her most and a recent scene that left the crew saying ‘wow.’

Mosley appeared on the podcast alongside her co-stars Lauren Buglioli and Daphnée Duplaix, who play Vanessa McBride and Nicole Richardson Dupree on the CBS soap.

Discussing the differences between joining an established soap and launching a new one, Mosley said, “I think it's really nice to have new characters that the fans are also excited to meet.”

The actress also praised the show’s writing team, noting how impressed she has been with the way storylines are developed. “What has surprised me are some of the ways that the writers have brought certain characters back.”

She continued, “The way they'll circle back in a storyline in an unexpected way. The way that they tie up loose ends that you think are just sort of forgotten about. They're very intentional and that has really been so lovely to watch.”

Mosley also explained how the collaborative nature of acting can lead to unexpected moments on set.  “Sometimes the writing is so rich that sometimes I'll have an idea about a way a scene's going to go,” she said. “Then when I'm opposite the person, it just goes in a completely different way, which is, you know, the beauty of acting in general, but particularly when you have such care put into a script I might have questions going into a scene and then sometimes it'll just open up and It just is creating a world that I didn't expect we were going to walk into.”

Mosley also teased a recent scene she filmed with Buglioli that took an emotional turn, “Lauren [Buglioli] and I had some scenes recently and they just became much more emotional than I think either of us expected them to be,” she said. “Even the producers or the director, everyone was kind of like ‘wow.’ So those moments are really exciting as an actor.”

Twenty-one years ago today, the late Michelle Trachtenberg took center stage in a Disney coming-of-age film that would go on to become a nostalgic favorite for a generation.

Released in 2005, Ice Princess followed Trachtenberg as Casey Carlyle, a high-achieving student who discovers a passion for figure skating and must choose between the life she planned and the dream she didn’t see coming.

At the time, Trachtenberg was already a familiar face. She first rose to fame as a child star in Harriet the Spy before becoming widely known as Dawn Summers on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Ice Princess marked a defining moment in her transition into teen and young adult roles.

In the years that followed, Trachtenberg continued to build a varied career, appearing in films like EuroTrip and taking on one of her most memorable roles as Georgina Sparks on Gossip Girl—a performance that introduced her to a new generation of fans.

Tragically, Trachtenberg died in 2025 at just 39 years old as a result of diabetes mellitus complications. In the year since, fans and former co-stars have continued to celebrate her talent, versatility, and unmistakable screen presence.

"I’m not sure how it’s been a year," actress Sarah Michelle Gellar captioned an Instagram post on the anniversary of Trachtenberg's unexpected death.

"I’m one of the lucky ones who has over 30 years of memories with you."

She leaves behind a body of work that spanned decades and genres, including the fan-favorite Ice Princess. Even if it wasn't a big hit for Disney at the time, the movie has endured as a comfort watch, especially for those who grew up with its message about taking risks and believing in yourself.

Even married life can’t erase a celebrity crush. Bachelorette Season 1 star Trista Sutter has one that her husband, Ryan, says might’ve shaken things up.

In a new interview with PEOPLE Magazine, the couple sat down to discuss their successful 22-year marriage. The couple discussed their whirlwind courtship and marriage, and the secrets that keep them close when so many other reality show relationships fizzled.

“I did see us lasting forever, or at least I hoped," Trista revealed. She said that Ryan stood out because he "wrote me poetry. He was a professional athlete, and I love athleticism."

She added, "His eyes. He made me laugh. He made me feel safe. It just felt right. We had so much chemistry, and I could see him fitting into my life and him fitting into mine and us creating a life of our own together."

Ryan appeared to feel the same way towards Trista. He told PEOPLE, "I always said I'd marry her the day she chose me."

However, that doesn't mean that after more than two decades together and two children, Maxwell and Blakesley Sutter, Trista doesn't still keep her husband on his toes. He revealed that there is one man whom he believes could still win over his wife, a '90s film superstar.

Ryan revealed, "I always hesitate to say that, because Brad Pitt could write her a letter tomorrow saying, 'I’ve always liked you.' And she could be like, 'Peace out.'”

The couple acknowledges that their relationship isn’t always smooth sailing, but they remain deeply committed to each other and their family. Through the ups and downs, Ryan and Trista say their love and partnership have only grown stronger over the years.

"We’re like every married couple. We have the things that drive each other crazy, but it’s silly stuff," Trista revealed. "We try not to take life so seriously."

"We have fun, laugh, and joke around a lot. We’re very sarcastic. We also believe in setting yourself up for success, in the value of education, and putting in effort and working hard, and being grateful for what you have."

In your younger years, you might have been drawn to workouts that required an intense challenge. Training for races, military-inspired boot camps, and quick-paced team sports all test both the body and mind. Maybe you would still like to do those types of activities, but now they leave you sore for days and your body aching. 

Exercising should make you feel good, not leave you in pain for days afterward. To avoid sore joints or extreme fatigue, you might have had to change the way you exercise as you’ve aged, and that can make maintaining a healthy weight challenging.

“Weight gain is often driven by muscle loss due to injuries or lifestyle shifts that change how we train and how much we move,” says Cori Lefkowith, NASM-CPT, a certified personal trainer, owner of Redefining Strength and author of The STRONG System: Transform Your Mindset and Build Your Best Body At Any Age. “When strength training intensity decreases, muscle mass declines with it and daily calorie burn drops. Age plays a role, but changes in our training intensity and overall movement have a greater impact.”

On top of that, Lefkowith explains that metabolism changes slightly with age, which can lead to building muscle less efficiently. This, she says, can make it harder to lose fat.

Mallory Fox, NASM-CPT, a certified personal trainer and NASM master trainer, says that life circumstances can make exercise less likely for many people in their 60s and older. Experiencing a chronic illness, loss of a loved one or other changes can make having the desire and ability to exercise more challenging. 

One form of exercise that both trainers say can be especially beneficial for people 60 and older who want to lose weight is walking. But how much do you need to walk for it to make a difference?

General Tips for Losing Weight After 60

When it comes to losing weight after 60, Leftkowith’s advice boils down to three words: Protect your muscle. Muscle loss starts as early as 30, but it takes a sharp nosedive after 60, so it’s important to counteract that. According to scientific research, this loss in muscle is a fundamental contributor of disability in people over 60.

“Strength training is essential for maintaining metabolic health and lean mass, which helps you burn more calories even outside the gym. Pair it with adequate protein and a small calorie deficit for sustainable fat loss results,” Leftkowith says. Fox echoes this, recommending strength training at least two days a week if you’re 60 or older.

While strength training is important for protecting against muscle loss, walking can help with supporting cardiovascular health and contribute to weight loss by increasing calorie loss. And if you’re currently not doing any form of exercise, both trainers say it’s the perfect place to start.

“Walking is ideal for inactive older adults because it is low-impact, joint-friendly, requires no equipment and has numerous health benefits. Even short, consistent walks can stimulate calorie burn and build endurance safely. It’s also very easy to scale movement up, starting with walking from one room to another, to walking around the block, to walking longer distances,” Fox says.

Leftkowith adds to this, saying that even 10 to 15 minutes of walking is enough to improve circulation, support blood sugar regulation and begin rebuilding basic strength and endurance. “It also creates momentum and lays the foundation for adding strength training later on,” she says.

How Many Minutes per Day To Walk if You Are Over 60 and Want To Lose Weight

If you are 60 or older and want to lose weight by walking, Leftkowith recommends gradually working your way up to 6,000 to 8,000 steps a day, which typically takes between 60 and 80 minutes, plus includes normal daily movement (like walking around the house as you do chores or at the grocery store).

If 6,000 steps feels too challenging for you right now, Leftkowith recommends starting by committing to taking a 10-minute walk after each meal. “Even an extra 1,000 steps per day can make a meaningful difference,” she says.

To support your overall health, Fox says that the American Heart Association’s guidelines of getting 150 minutes of cardio-based exercise a week (roughly 30 minutes, five days a week), is great advice to follow. But weight loss, she recommends walking for at least 300 minutes a week (an hour five days a week or roughly 45 minutes every day).

“Every bit of movement counts. Any activity is better than none, and benefits increase with more consistency. Walking—paired with small dietary changes—remains one of the most powerful tools for healthy aging,” Fox says.

Leftkowith adds to this, emphasizing that it’s never too late to start. “Start with small, consistent habits and you’ll be amazed at how much your energy, mobility and quality of life can improve,” she says. Those are some great words to live by!

This asparagus caught my eye because of the thinner stalks that are always crisp but tender. Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper and roast in a 400°F oven for a tasty, simple side dish.

A Disease We Thought Was Gone

The turning point came in the mid-1950s with the introduction of the polio vaccine, one of the most successful public health interventions in history. Thanks to widespread vaccination campaigns, polio was nearly eradicated globally by the late 20th century.

During the 1940s and 1950s, polio outbreaks were among the most feared public health crises in the United States and around the world. At its peak, tens of thousands of children were paralyzed each year, and entire communities shut down pools, schools, and public gatherings to avoid infection.

• Even countries previously considered polio-free have reported environmental traces of the virus 

Health experts point to several factors behind the resurgence:

• Declining vaccination rates in some areas
• Global travel spreading the virus across borders
• Disruptions to healthcare systems in recent years

As a result, the CDC’s latest advisory reflects a growing concern: polio is no longer just a localized issue, it’s a global one again.

Messina will be joined in the France-set fourth season by the iconic Helena Bonham Carter. A newcomer with only two short film credits on her IMDb page, Marissa Long is understandably ecstatic about joining the cast of The White Lotus, as she relayed in a January Instagram post. "God is so good — I am in the middle of so many feelings and I’m unbelievably honored to be joining this with such incredible people...Thank you Mike White!!!!!!!!!! I’m speechless and cannot wait for this journey, feeling deeply blessed."

Actress-comedian Sandra Bernhard will also be checking into the hit HBO drama for its fourth season.

From Jennifer Coolidge to Parker Posey, it's not The White Lotus without a legendary comedienne in the mix and this season, that's looking to be Sandra Bernhard (Severance, Marty Supreme), who was announced as part of the cast in February. During a red-carpet interview with E! News at this month's Actor Awards, the Roseanne alum revealed that she had begged buddy Mike White to write a star-turning role for her for 25 years. "He loves me. We love each other. And he finally said, ‘This is it. This is the season.’"

Vincent Cassel

Given that season four will take place in France, it's only fitting for the show to feature some French star power: Say enchanté to Vincent Cassel, the César Award-winning actor behind 2008's Mesrine as well as fellow acclaimed flicks like La Haine, Read My Lips, Mon Roi,It's Only the End of the World and The Specials.

Unlike industry vets like Vincent Cassel and Helena Bonham Carter, their soon-to-be White Lotus co-star Caleb Jonte Edwards is a virtual unknown — his biggest acting credit to date is a guest role on the Australian crime drama Black Snow.

Canadian actor-slash-country musician Alexander Ludwig will also appear on the popular HBO program. The Vancouver native has been acting since he was a child, with early roles in The Seeker: The Dark Is Rising, Race to Witch Mountain and The Hungers Games. On the small screen, he's known for playing the legendary Viking Björn Ironside in the History Channel series Vikings and pro wrestler Ace Spade in the Starz drama series Heels.

AJ Michalka

Pop-music fans know recent White Lotus addition AJ Michalka as one-half of the sister act Aly & AJ, though the blonde beauty has also starred in several TV shows, including the ABCsitcomThe Goldbergs and its spinoff Schooled, as well as the Netflix animated series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power.

The Pakistani-American star already had a successful career in stand-up comedy and television (Franklin & Bash, SiliconValley) but he became a household name for his Oscar-nominated rom-com The Big Sick as well as his work in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Kingo.

Max Greenfield

Nanjiani will be joined by fellow TV funnyman Max Greenfield, beloved by sitcom fans for his Emmy-nominated performance as Schmidt in the FOX comedy New Girl. Aside from The White Lotus season 4, Greenfield's most recent credits include playing Dave Johnson in the CBS sitcom The Neighborhood and Lev Levenson in the Netflix sports comedy Running Point.

Charlie Hall

Acting should come naturally to cast newcomer Charlie Hall: His parents are Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Brad Hall, making him — like Sam Nivola andPatrick Schwarzenegger before him — the token nepo baby of The White Lotus season 4.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. vet Chloe Bennet has signed on for the fourth season of The White Lotus

The March casting announcement also included actress-singer Chloe Bennet, who previously starred as Daisy Johnson-slash-Quake in the ABC superhero drama series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. from 2013 to 2020. The 33-year-old actress reposted the news onto her Instagram, writing simply: "Insane."

Jarrad Paul

Actor-filmmaker Jarrad Paul will join Chloe and co. in the new White Lotus cast. The 49-year-old Miami native co-created series like the adult animated sitcom Allen Gregory, the FOX comedy The Grinder and the Netflix miniseries Huge in France.

Dylan Ennis

In February, British-French actor Dylan Ennis was added to the ensemble. According to Deadline, the recent LAMDA grad is believed to be playing a French local in season four, though it's unknown if his character will be working as a White Lotus staffer.

Parisian actor Corentin Fila will join the French contingency of The White Lotus season 4, as announced in early March. His credits include the 2018 film Being 17, for which he received a César nomination, as well as the Amazon Prime Video series Escort Boys.

And rounding out the cast is French-Finnish actress Nadia Tereszkiewicz, who was announced alongside Vincent Cassel and Corentin Fila. It is assumed that the 29-year-old performer — who has previously starred in films like Forever Young, Rosalie, Red Island and Heads or Tails? — will be playing a French local in the upcoming season.

Next, HBO Shares Big Update on the Future of ‘Industry’

Stranger Thingsstar Sadie Sink, who played Max Mayfield on the popular Netflix show, has just shared the new Spider-Man: Brand New Daytrailer on her Instagram account. Brand New Day, which will hit theaters on July 31, is the newest installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's (MCU) Spider-Man movies, which currently comprise Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home and Spider-Man: No Way Home.

In a post that contained no caption or other commentary from the actress, Sink shared the new trailer in full, and already, the post is flooded with comments speculating about Sink's character in the upcoming movie.

Sink, who does not appear in the trailer, is confirmed to be in Brand New Day, but her character continues to be a mystery. Many have guessed that Sink could be playing Jean Gray or Gwen Stacy, but that is entirely speculation at present—and the trailer didn't provide any hints about what her role in this story will be.

However, the trailer did offer significantly more insight into what this movie will entail for Peter Parker (Tom Holland). The most recent update on Peter came in Spider-Man: No Way Home, in which everyone's memories had to be wiped so that they never knew he existed, including his best friend, Ned (Jacob Batalon), and his girlfriend, MJ (Zendaya).

The new trailer begins with Peter watching a video of Ned and MJ together, suggesting that he is still keeping his distance, devastated to have lost them. That seems to be changing as well, though, as the end of the trailer shows Peter introducing himself to MJ as a neighbor (to which she hilariously responds, "Friendly neighbor").

The trailer also sees the return of the MCU's Bruce Banner/Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo)—although he, like everyone else, has no memory of Peter Parker/Spider-Man—and suggests that Peter is facing a number of new obstacles due to genetic mutations.

Moss filed for divorce from Armisen in September of 2010, citing “irreconcilable differences” in the California court documents. She listed the couple’s separation date as June 26, eight months after their wedding.

At the time, an anonymous source told People that “conflicting work schedules and long-distance relationship” had led to the split, but once Moss opened up about how “traumatic and awful and horrible” the marriage had been, that story fell apart. 

Two years after the divorce, Moss gave a damning interview to Page Six (via CBS News) about Armisen. “One of the greatest things I heard someone say about him is, 'He's so great at doing impersonations. But the greatest impersonation he does is that of a normal person.’ To me, that sums it up.”

For his part, Armisen made no attempt to defend himself. “I think I was a terrible husband, I think I’m a terrible boyfriend,” he told Howard Stern (via Huffington Post), who asked him to respond to Moss’s comments. "I want it all...fast," he explained. “I want to be married, I want to live together...and then somewhere around a year or two years, I get freaked out.
