‘Three’s Company’ Blonde Beauty Jenilee Harrison Is Stunning at 67 and Covered in Puppies in New Video
Jenilee Harrison replaced Suzanne Somers on Three’s Company, but the former actress is more comfortable surrounded by animals than actors!
Harrison, 67, kicked off her career as a cheerleader for the Los Angeles Rams. However, it was her role as Cindy on Three's Company alongside John Ritter and Joyce DeWitt that catapulted her to stardom. She later hit another '80s powerhouse series when she was cast on Dallas, on which she appeared from 1984 to 1986. While Harrison continued to make occasional appearances onscreen throughout the '90s, the blonde beauty stepped back from acting to focus on other pursuits, like her love of animals. And clearly, she's still into that. In a new Instagram post, Harrison shines as she celebrates the 18th birthday of one of her dogs, Andy Moo. Covered in pups, the former actress makes it clear that she's the ultimate dog lover.
"Happy 18th birthday to my beloved Andy moo. May the day bring you lots of snuggles, love, walks on the grass, and anything else your little heart desires. Help me wish Andy happy birthday today!" Harrison captions the video, which shows her and a friend draped in dogs.

Harrison posed for the June 1987 issue of Playboy. However, she was determined to do the photoshoot on her own terms.
"It was in my contract that, yes, I’ll do [Playboy], but I have to keep my clothes on," Harrison told Fox News Digital last year. "So I show up for this photo shoot in the Playboy building in Beverly Hills, and I go into the changing room to do my makeup and all that. And the photographer – a very famous photographer – comes in. He goes, ‘You’re all ready to go?’ And I said, ‘Well, yeah, where’s my wardrobe?’ And he looked shocked. He’s like, ‘Your wardrobe? No, we’re doing Playboy.’ And I said, ‘No, my contract says I’m wearing clothes.’ He was just shocked."
While the photographer was shocked, Harrison had to advocate for herself to make it clear she wouldn't be taking her clothes off.

Country Singer Lukas Nelson Sparks Romance Rumors With Latest Photo
Country singer Lukas Nelson—and, of course, son of music legend Willie Nelson—has been out on the road, on tour and hard at work. But recently he shared lots of photos and Instagram stories from a little downtime in Hawaii. One adorable new shot he posted on his socials with a certain new female friend is sparking romance rumors.
Over the past week or so, Nelson has shared several fun shots from his tour break—we've seen a big group of friends, sun, sand, surf, golfing, even a few sweet dogs and some puppies!
"Time off well spent…" Nelson captions the latest set of photos. "Now back to work!"
But a certain selfie of Lukas and a very pretty person hugging and goofing around in the mirror has fans a little curious. Immediately, comments on his Facebook and Instagram posts ignited with questions and speculation:
- "Did Lukas find his American Romance?! Ow oww!
- "Whose the girl? Let us down easy! 😍"
- "That’s his girlfriend"
- "Awww you two are so adorable ❤️"
There's currently no confirming or denying a new romantic interest from the country singer either way, but he's not exactly keeping his new friend private either. A little simple Internet sleuthing does tell us that Nelson's new friend is a Niche Models and Talent model named Kirra, who lives in Maui and has a great golf swing. A quick scroll through the Kirra Spalding Instagram shows us Nelson engaging on her latest, very beautiful selfies. Lots of heart eyes and fire emojis.

Lukas Nelson is currently touring to support his debut solo album, American Romance. Visit his website for dates, cities, and ticket information.
This 100-Year-Old Amusement Park Still Hasn't Lost Its Retro Charm
Before Six Flags or Walt Disney World was a twinkle in anyone's eye, in Elysburg, Pennsylvania people would travel across the country to visit Knoebels Amusement Resort, an amusement park that has endured since 1926. While some things have certainly changed since then, the overall vibe there still very much has an old-world charm. Not only are there vintage games and retro rides, but the park has stayed relatively affordable despite rising travel prices.
"People call us the carnival that came into town and never left," Brian Knoebel, the fourth-generation owner, operator, and manager of the park, told Blooloop in 2022.
@knoebelsofficialFor 100 Years, families have gathered beneath the trees of Knoebels Amusement Resort to laugh, ride, and pass down traditions that span generations. #knoebels100 #amusementpark
♬ original sound - KnoebelsIt's kind of the perfect description; the place is full of both retired and fully functioning vintage rides. Customers do not have to pay an entry fee, but rather buy ticket books or wristbands to make the experience as affordable and customizable as possible.
“We offer free entertainment and a free picnic area as well,” Knoebel told the outlet. “People come here because it reminds them of yesteryear. We are a traditional park where grandma and grandpa get more satisfaction out of watching their grandchildren ride the rides than in riding themselves."
He also noted how folks on fixed incomes can bring their own food, relax at picnic tables, and simply enjoy watching the littles have a blast without hefty admission fees.

52 Years Ago Today, Lucille Ball’s 23-Year TV Run Ended When Her Classic CBS Sitcom Was Canceled
In March 1974, Lucille Ball’s 23-year consecutive primetime TV run came to an end with the cancellation of Here’s Lucy. The beloved star’s third CBSsitcom aired its final episode, titled “Lucy Fights the System,” on March 18, 1974. In the episode, Ball’s Lucy Carter defends a middle-aged waitress, played by Mary Treen.
Here’s Lucy aired for six seasons on CBS and co-starred Ball’s real-life children, Lucie Arnaz and Desi Arnaz Jr. Ball herself made the decision to end the series.
In February 1974, The New York Times reported that Ball, a “Monday night fixture” on CBS for 23 years, voluntarily ended Here’s Lucy to focus on other career ventures. A spokesperson for the network described Ball as a “Monday night institution” for more than two decades. At the time, an insider noted that the comedy legend would “never retire” and would possibly consider returning to a new TV series “after a while.”

Lucille Ball made her sitcom debut in 1951Ball’s first sitcom was I Love Lucy, which co-starred her then-husband Desi Arnaz, and aired from 1951 to 1957. She then starred in the offshoot The Lucy Desi-Comedy Hour from 1957 to 1960 before jumping into her first full post-Desi role in The Lucy Show.
In the follow-up series, Ball played Lucy Carmichael, a widowed mother of two (Candy Moore, Jimmy Garrett) who shared a house with her divorced friend, Vivian Bagley (Vivian Vance), and son Sherman (Ralph Hart).
The Lucy Show aired for six seasons, from 1962 to 1968, but wasn’t originally meant to be a long-term series. In Geoffrey Mark Fidelman’s tell-all, The Lucy Book: A Complete Guide to Her Five Decades on Television, it was revealed that it “was never intended for [The Lucy Show] to go beyond one TV season” and that the show was simply “a stop-gap measure for the studio” to entice the network to invest in other Desilu productions.
Ball ended that show, too, but agreed to return to CBS if her kids could be a part of the new series. Thus, Here’s Lucy was born, and like Ball’s previous two sitcoms, it also went on for six seasons. There was magic in that number, as far as Ball was concerned.
In an interview with The Television Academy Foundation, Lucie Arnaz noted, “[The show lasted] six seasons. For the same reason, because that's enough for syndication.”
After Here’s Lucy ended, Ball appeared on a variety of TV specials for her signature network, but her final foray was actually on ABC.

Lucille Ball’s final sitcom was a failure—and she was devastatedTwelve years after Here’s Lucy ended, Ball, then 74, returned to TV for her final sitcom. Life With Lucy premiered on September 20, 1986, on ABC, and it only aired for eight episodes. The sitcom, which featured Ball as a grandmother, was the comedy legend’s first—and last—real failure.
During an appearance on The Late Show With Joan Rivers, Ball revealed that she “didn't have any idea” that she would “get chastised” for going back to TV.
“I got some lousy notices for coming back to work at all,” she said. “I can take critique about the show, I’ve done that for years, but to be critiqued for coming back at all, that threw me. I cried, my God, I cried. …I didn’t know that I could be that frightened and hurt.”
Taylor Frankie Paul Speaks Out in First TV Interview Since Alleged Domestic Violence Incident
Taylor Frankie Paul is addressing the recent headlines.
During a Wednesday, Mar. 18 appearance on Good Morning America, the upcoming Bachelorette told GMA's Lara Spencer that news of the ongoing domestic violence investigation into her feels like "the end of the world."
"It’s hard to see past this — I’m not going to lie — in this moment, it’s just so heavy," Paul said. "When your life is broadcasted out there in these headlines, it’s like the end of the world, that’s what it feels like — I’m not going to lie. I will say I’ve been here before and I got through it and I’ve shared my story and my light, and I’m hoping I can do that again."
Paul’s season of The Bachelorette is still scheduled to premiere on Sunday, Mar. 22 on ABC, but TMZ reports the network has hired a crisis public relations manager to handle the controversy surrounding her season.
"Honestly, it’s been a heavy time to see the headlines, especially during this time of The Bachelorette being released, and it’s supposed to be a really exciting time," Paul said. "I’m a person that will always speak my truth and that’s what I’m known for and so when the time is right, I will be. But right now just trying to be in the present moment and focus on this."
When asked about season 5 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives pausing filming due to the alleged incident, Paul replied, “I don’t call the shots with production … as far as I know it was [paused], but I don’t know for how long.”
As for her future on Mormon Wives, Paul admitted “it’s hard to see” beyond what’s happening in her life right now.

On Monday, Mar. 16, it was reported that production for Mormon Wiveshad been halted following an altercation between Paul and her ex-boyfriendDakota Mortensen.
“They are not filming,” a source told People of Mormon Wives. “Taylor has some pretty serious stuff happening regarding her past, and they will see what happens. Until that resolves, they are off.”
A spokesperson for the Draper City Police Department also confirmed to the outlet that there is an open “domestic assault investigation” regarding Paul and Mortensen.
The spokesperson confirmed “allegations have been made in both directions” and “contact was made with involved parties on [Feb] 24th and 25th,” but declined to share any further details.
TMZ also spoke to sources connected to both Paul and Mortensen, who offered conflicting stories regarding the alleged domestic violence incident.

Paul was previously arrested for alleged domestic violence in 2023 following an argument with Mortensen. She was given misdemeanor charges of assault, criminal mischief, and commission of domestic violence in the presence of a child, after she was accused of throwing a chair at Mortensen that hit her daughter.
Paul ultimately pleaded guilty to a single charge of aggravated assault, and the domestic violence charges were dismissed as part of the plea deal. She is currently serving a 3-year probation.

Everything You Need to Know About Buying Costco Cakes
When a big birthday or another special occasion is approaching and you need someone to bake you a cake as fast as they can, Costco is the place to go.
The fan-favorite bakery at the fan-favorite warehouse store is known for its seasonal sweets, like gooey Soft S'mores Cookies and the controversial Strawberries and Cream Bar Cake, but it also makes sheet cakes year-round that make the perfect birthday cake (or a great treat for another sweet celebration).
As you would expect, Costco's half-sheet cakes are massive enough to feed an entire block of people, with prices low enough to make you do a double-take. The half-sheet cakes have been the subject of Internet rants, rumors and raves over the years, with one Redditor recently declaring them "Beyond delicious — Rich, decadent, perfect." Or, more (in)appropriately, "So [expletive] delicious."
Intrigued? Before heading to your local warehouse to order, you'll want to keep a few things in mind (how much does a Costco cake cost, how and when to order, what's on the menu, etc.). We did the research and pulled together everything you need to know about Costco cakes in one handy spot.

All of Your Costco Cake Questions Answered 1. How Much Does a Costco Cake Cost?As you might imagine, the warehouse makes half-sheet cakes and sells them at a bargain. The cakes are $24.99 in-store, which is up from their $19.99 pre-pandemic price.
But if you add other store-bought cakes into the equation, you'll see that a Costco cake is a pretty good bargain. As a Redditor pointed out, "My regular grocery store charges $40 for a sheet cake that’s inferior to Costco's." It's also still cheaper than Walmart (around $28), BJ's (about $29.99) and Wegman's, where a half-sheet cake can cost a whopping $46.

2. How Far in Advance Do I Need to Order a Costco Cake?Customized Costco cakes aren't a last-minute situation. Rules can vary by location, but generally speaking, if you want a custom Costco cake, like adding a name or message for a special birthday cake, you need to order it at least 48 hours in advance.
3. Can I Order a Costco Cake Online? You have to order a custom Costco cake in person, and the experience feels straight out of the 1980s. Or, as one person opined earlier this year when X was still Twitter, "the 1800s," stating in a now-deleted tweet, "You write what you want on a piece of paper and put it in a box. Then nobody follows up, and you just show up and hope they made it? I tried to call to confirm, and they were like 'if you put it in the box, it will be there.'"
Snark aside, that's the exact process. There's an order form, a box—and a leap of faith. Many users assured Huber, "Girl, that cake will BE THERE. Have some faith," replied someone.

4. How Big Is a Costco Cake?Invite everyone you know. Costco half-sheet cakes, which measure 12 by 16 inches, are so massive they can feed 48 people. Don't have that many friends? More leftovers for you. Also, enjoy this piece-of-cake math: You pay less than $2 per slice. And make sure you've stretched before picking up one of these babies. Costco cakes weigh about 9.5 pounds.

5. What Kind of Designs Can I Get on a Costco Cake?Balloons for birthday cakes, the guest of honor's name, rainbows and teddy bears are among the fun ways to bring a wow factor to a Costco cake. Customers can choose from about 30 different cake designs. But keep in mind that if you don't choose from one of the Costco design options, you'll get a blank cake, as one TikToker found out the hard way.
@katelanterman#Costcofail Without explanation, Costco didnt decorate my son’s birthday cake so I had to do it at 9pm the night before his party. #nailedit BUT SERIOUSLY, you thought leaving it blank was a good idea??? Do the best you can offer and thats my problem after, but them leaving it blank was a horribly petty plan. I normally LOVE Costco, we still spent bought all of our party food there tonight because that was my plan and I didnt need the added stress of changing plans over this. I’ll still shop there, but i will NEVER order a custom cake again #cakefail And i hate my writing on it but at least its something
♬ original sound - Katelynn LantermanIf you're the DIY type, you can pick up a plain cake from the Costco bakery and get crafty. One of the perks of picking up a pre-made half-sheet cake (besides being able to get it the day of) is that the cake serves as a blank canvas. Let Costco do the baking and frosting, then you add your own sweet message to the birthday cake, plus personalized cake toppers and any other decorations.
6. Are Sheet Cakes My Only Costco Cake Option?Sheet cakes have a cult following, but the Costco bakery has many other sweet options. The Tuxedo Cake has been compared to "heaven." The bakery also has 10-inch round cakes that are perfect for smaller soirees. David’s Cookies Mile High Peanut Butter Cake is about 7 pounds of all the right stuff, like chocolate cake, fudge brownie pieces and peanut butter mousse. Honestly, it's hard to go wrong.

7. What Are My Flavor Options? In the U.S., Costco cakes can be chocolate or vanilla. The chocolate sheet cake includes chocolate mousse filling and chocolate buttercream icing. The vanilla is similar but, well, vanilla: A vanilla sheet cake filled with vanilla cheesecake mousse and white buttercream icing.
Carrot cakes used to be an option in U.S. Costcos, but no longer. If you're outside America you might have wider options. Australia Costcos let customers choose a raspberry filling, trendy sweet fill the bakery of South Korean Costco and the Costco bakery in France you might be tempted to pick up some celebratory profiteroles instead of cake.

8. This Thing Is Massive. Can I Freeze It?Leftovers are likely unless your party was a big one, but some Redditors report that freezing a Costco cake makes it even moister. To freeze it, one Redditor shared their go-to method: "The way we do it is to slice it, then you take a folded piece of parchment paper, put it around the knife and slide it into the cut you made. Keep doing it for all your slices, then freeze the cake. It makes it easier to remove a single piece and thaw it later."

Bonus: Costco Cake Urban LegendWhen we were deep-diving into the sweet world of Costco cake we ran across a funny urban legend. In 2015, a now-deleted story surfaced in The Inquisitr that a Costco baker decorated a cake with a three-legged dinosaur whose legs reportedly looked like "666," and a mom complained. Turns out, the mom's boyfriend wrote the article, and it was totally untrue. The Costco location in the story never heard a peep about demonic dinosaurs.
How to Properly Pack a Carry-On, According to a Flight Attendant
Packing a carry-on properly takes a lot of trial and error. There are tons of methods out there on how to decide exactly what to pack in your carry-on, strategies on the best possible ways to organize your clothing inside, and tips on fitting in things like shoes, accessories and toiletries.
I, personally, try to travel with just a carry-on as often as I can. I’ve been to over 40 countries, have lived out of a suitcase for a year on a Broadway tour and solo travel for leisure in the most budget-friendly way possible. While I’m definitely a pro when it comes to packing a carry-on, there is one demographic that I take a lot of advice from.
Without a doubt, the people who travel most in the world are flight attendants and pilots. Most of them practically live out of suitcases, so if there’s anyone to take advice from, it should be them. Over the years, many tips and tricks that I’ve learned about packing have come from flight attendants. Recently, I learned a new one that has changed the game for me when it comes to packing shoes.

Cover Your Shoes With Disposable Shower Capshttps://www.youtube.com/shorts/5eqP9QkOXWc
In a Youtube video created by Kat Kamalani, who is a flight attendant, she shares a few ways to “properly” pack a carry-on. For her very first tip, she shared that she always packs bulky items first–and for her, that usually means shoes. Since her shoes go in the bottom of her carry-on and they are likely to touch other things that she packs, Kamalani says that she always covers her shoes to protect them.
Now, how exactly does she do that? She goes to the Dollar Store, gets a container of disposable shower caps and uses them to cover each shoe individually. This way, the dirt and grime from the bottom of her shoes don’t get her clean clothes or other items in her carry-on dirty.
I used to pack my shoes last, and what I would do is face them bottoms-up in the suitcase, that way the bottom of the shoes only touched the inside cover of the suitcase. Now that I think of it, however, I think Kamalani’s method is a lot smarter.
Since shoes are harder and not as easy to manipulate, it’s probably better to have them at the bottom of the bag, and then you can layer packing cubes filled with clothing on top. Then, when you go to close the carry-on, it’s easier to manipulate the shape of a packing cube than it is to manipulate the shape of a shoe. Plus, covering the shoes with shower caps takes away any fear of contaminating the rest of your belongings.

Where Should You Put Dirty Clothes In A Carry-On?Staying on the topic of keeping things clean within your carry-on, one thing to think about is what to do with clothing items that get dirty during your trip. In Kamalani’s video, she shares that she brings a small trash bag with her in her carry-on. Then, she throws in any clothing items that get dirty as the trip goes on. She utilizes the inside zipper of her carry-on to shove the bag of dirty clothes in, that way it stays separate from everything else. If you don’t have an inner zipper in your carry-on, you can just secure the top of the trash bag and lay the dirty clothes on top of everything in your suitcase.
I am an avid user of compression packing cubes, and one of my favorite sets that I ordered from Amazon comes with small laundry pouches. I love this option because it keeps everything zipped away, organized and uniform. So, whether you want to opt for a packing cube set that comes with a laundry pouch, or go the disposable garbage bag route, both will keep your dirty clothes away from the clean ones!

1966 Ultimate Classic No. 1 Hit Ranked Among 'Greatest Love Songs' of All Time Became a Timeless Anthem
If there's any song that captures the raw, aching power of love, it's "When a Man Loves a Woman" by Percy Sledge.
Released in 1966, the timeless ballad has officially earned a spot on Amazon Music's list of Greatest Love Songs of all time, a testament to its enduring emotional pull and cultural legacy (not that it needed any more validation after all these decades). More than just a hit, the song has become a defining standard of soul music—one that continues to resonate across generations, even 59 years later.
A Song Born From HeartbreakWhat makes the track so powerful is its origin story. The song was written by Calvin Lewis and Andrew Wright, but Sledge himself helped shape its emotional core. Inspired by a painful breakup, he poured real-life heartbreak into the performance, transforming the song into something deeply authentic. Originally titled “Why Did You Leave Me Baby,” it evolved into the soul-stirring anthem we know today—one that feels as personal as it is universal.
Some of the lyrics tell the story of a man yearning for the love of a woman whom he describes loving unconditionally, even if she brings him "misery" or "plays him for a fool."
"Well, this man loves you, woman / I gave you everything I have / Tryin' to hold on to your heartless love / Baby, please don't treat me bad / When a man loves a woman / Down deep in his soul / She can bring him such misery / If she is playin' him for a fool / He's the last one to know / Lovin' eyes can never see / When a man loves a woman / He can do her no wrong / He can never want / Some other girl," he croons on the track.
Recorded at the famed Muscle Shoals studios in Sheffield, Ala., it was released by Atlantic Records in April 1966. Its success was immediate and major—the song shot to No. 1 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and R&B charts, making history as the first chart-topping hit to come out of Muscle Shoals.
Career-Defining SuccessWhile Sledge would go on to release other notable songs like “Warm and Tender Love” and “Take Time to Know Her,” “When a Man Loves a Woman” remained the cornerstone of his career. The track became:
- His signature song
- Atlantic Records’ first gold record
- A global hit that charted internationally
- A Grammy Hall of Fame inductee in 1999
- A Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit for two weeks, starting May 28, 1966
- Inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2005
- Ranked No. 53 on Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Songs of All Time list (2004)
Even decades later, the song found new life through reissues, film placements, and covers—including another chart-topping version by Michael Bolton in 1991.
A Love Song That Never FadesBeing ranked among Amazon Music’s greatest love songs only reinforces what fans have known for years: this is one of the most emotionally powerful recordings ever made. From weddings to movie soundtracks, “When a Man Loves a Woman” has remained a go-to anthem for romance. Its influence stretches far beyond its era, helping define what a love song should feel like—honest, vulnerable, and unforgettable.

New Study Has This to Say About Exercise During Pregnancy and Child Development
Research recently published in the journal JAMA Network Open may have found a link between maternal exercise before and during pregnancy and child development. The study authors examined how a mother’s physical activity could affect her child in the first three years of life. And the findings might surprise you!
You want the best for your kiddo. That’s why, as a parent, you do everything you can to nurture their growth and development. As many parents already know, this starts well before your due date. From prenatal vitamins to the best medical care, staying on top of your health is crucial during pregnancy. But what if you could do more?
The benefits of physical activity are pretty obvious. Provided your OBGYN hasn’t put you on bed rest, chances are they’ve encouraged you to get up and get moving. While power lifting and running a marathon aren’t exactly the most mommy-to-be-friendly pursuits, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) does note that healthy pregnant people can usually continue (or even start) a regular physical activity routine. Of course, you should always check with a medical professional first.
So what does this study have to say about exercise, pregnancy, and infants? Researchers analyzed data from the Japan Environment and Children’s Study and enrolled 38,219 eligible mother-child pairs in the project. Using the International Physical Activity Questionnaire, the article’s co-authors (from the Tohoku University Graduate School of Medicine and Tohoku University Hospital in Sendai, Japan) assessed the mothers’ physical activity levels before and during pregnancy. They also looked at the children's neurodevelopment (the development of the brain and nervous system) using the Ages and Stages Questionnaire Third Edition every six months from six months of age to three years.
A review of the data found a connection between higher maternal activity levels and increased child development in the first few years after birth. While the study didn’t show across-the-board results, it did find evidence of higher odds of growth in gross motor, fine motor, and problem-solving skills. The most notable result was an increase in motor function development between six months and one year.
If you’re wondering how or why exercise impacts child development, you aren’t alone. Even though this study found a connection, the processes underlying this benefit aren’t completely clear. But the article does explain that past research points to an aerobic activity-induced reduction in maternal inflammatory cytokines (signaling proteins released by the immune system) that could stimulate the fetal sensory system.
What’s the takeaway? If you’re trying to conceive or are already pregnant, talk to your doctor or healthcare professional about exercise ASAP.
Government Shutdown Threatens Airport Closures Across U.S.— Here's Which Ones Are at Risk
The idea of an airport simply closing is not something most travelers plan for. Weather delays, sure. Long security lines, always. But a government shutdown quietly putting parts of the nation’s air network at risk? That feels different. More uncertain. More disruptive in ways that don’t show up neatly on a departures board.
As Congress edges closer to another potential funding lapse, aviation officials are warning that some of the smallest airports in the country could face partial or full shutdowns. For travelers who rely on these regional gateways, especially in rural or remote areas, the ripple effects could be immediate and deeply inconvenient.
What Actually Counts as a “Small Airport” in the U.S.Not all airports are built the same. When officials talk about “small airports” in the context of a shutdown, they are typically referring to non-hub and small hub airports that serve fewer passengers and rely more heavily on federal staffing and funding.
These airports often see fewer than 0.25% of total U.S. passenger boardings annually. That might sound insignificant, but they play an outsized role in connecting smaller communities to the rest of the country. Think regional airports in places like the Mountain West, parts of Alaska, or rural stretches of the Midwest and Northeast.
Related: TSA Lines Are Hours Long as Spring Breaks Begin: Here's What to Do
Unlike major hubs, these airports often depend on federally staffed Transportation Security Administration checkpoints. During a shutdown, TSA workers are considered essential and must report to work, but the reality is more complicated. Without pay, staffing shortages can grow quickly, and smaller airports with fewer officers are the first to feel it. “We’re fully stretched and cannot maintain staffing if this continues.” states Acting Deputy TSA Administrator Adam Stahl, warning about smaller airport closures due to the government shutdown.
According to reporting from the New York Times, TSA has previously had to temporarily suspend screening operations at certain smaller airports during prolonged shutdowns due to staffing constraints.
How a Government Shutdown Impacts Air Travel InfrastructureA government shutdown does not ground planes outright, but it strains the systems that keep aviation running safely and efficiently.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) continues operations, as air traffic controllers are essential workers. However, many support roles, training programs, and administrative functions are paused. Over time, that creates bottlenecks in maintenance, oversight, and staffing pipelines.
TSA is where travelers feel the impact most directly. While agents remain on duty, they are not paid during a shutdown. Historically, that has led to increased absenteeism. During the 2018 to 2019 shutdown, for example, major airports experienced longer wait times, while smaller airports faced the possibility of closing checkpoints entirely.
Related: What Is the Fastest Way to Get Through the TSA Today?
According to TravelPulse, officials are now warning that similar conditions could once again force temporary closures or reduced hours at smaller U.S. airports, particularly those with limited staffing flexibility.
This creates a cascading effect. If a small airport cannot staff its security checkpoint, commercial flights cannot depart. Airlines may reroute passengers to larger airports, often hours away. For travelers, that can turn a simple trip into a logistical puzzle overnight.
Which Airports Could Be at RiskThere is rarely a definitive list of at risk airports released in advance, which is part of what makes this situation so unsettling. However, patterns from past shutdowns and current reporting point to certain types of airports being more vulnerable.
Airports that are most at risk tend to:
- Serve low passenger volumes
- Have limited TSA staffing pools
- Operate in remote or rural areas
- Offer only a handful of daily commercial flights
In previous shutdown scenarios, regional airports in states like Montana, Wyoming, Alaska, and parts of the Southeast have faced disruptions. Some airports have temporarily halted screening altogether, while others reduced operating hours significantly.
The uncertainty is the real issue. Airlines may not cancel flights immediately, but conditions can change quickly if staffing drops below required thresholds. For travelers, that means a flight that looks perfectly normal today could be impacted tomorrow.
What This Means for Your Travel PlansIf you are flying through a major hub like Atlanta, Chicago, or Los Angeles, you will likely still get where you are going. But you may encounter longer security lines, delays, or schedule changes. If your trip involves a smaller regional airport, it is worth paying closer attention.
I would personally take a few extra precautions right now:
- Check your departure airport classification. If it is a regional or non-hub airport, stay alert.
- Monitor airline communications closely. Changes may come with little notice.
- Build in extra time or backup plans. Especially if your trip involves connections.
- Consider alternate airports nearby. A slightly longer drive could save a canceled trip.
Travel is always a balance between planning and unpredictability. A government shutdown tilts that balance just a bit more toward uncertainty.

The Bigger Picture Travelers Should Keep in MindThere is something uniquely American about the vast network of airports that connect even the smallest towns to the global map. But that system depends on consistent federal support in ways most of us rarely think about. A shutdown exposes those hidden dependencies. It reveals how quickly convenience can give way to disruption, especially in places that do not have redundancy built into their infrastructure.
For travelers, this moment is less about panic and more about awareness. Flights are still operating. The system is still moving. But the margins are thinner. And if you happen to be flying out of a quiet regional airport where the security line is usually just a handful of people, it might be worth arriving a little earlier than usual and appreciating the simplicity while it lasts.
Rebecca Gayheart Steps Out With Daughters in First Appearance Since Eric Dane’s Death
Rebecca Gayheart attended a movie premiere on March 17 with her daughters by her side, marking their first public appearance since Eric Dane's death.
Gayheart, 54, and her daughters, Georgia Geraldin Dane, 14, and Billie Beatrice Dane, 16, walked the red carpet at the premiere of The Drama in Los Angeles.
Billie wore a two-piece white lace ensemble and styled her curly tresses in an updo. Georgia wore a form-fitting pink minidress. Gayheart wore a striped dress and carried a small bright pink and orange purse.

Gayheart shared a slight smile as she was photographed. Both Billie and Georgia maintained fairly serious facial expressions.
The trio walked the red carpet at the movie premiere nearly a month after Dane's death. He died on February 19 at the age of 53, less than a year after publicly revealing his amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) diagnosis.
Dane and Gayheart were officially still married at the time of his death. However, they had not lived together as a romantic couple in years.
As Us Weekly noted in February, Dane and Gayheart wed in 2004. They announced their split in 2017, and Gayheart filed for divorce in February 2018. However, they never officially divorced.
In December 2025, Gayheart wrote about their unique and sometimes difficult dynamic for The Cut. She had withdrawn her divorce petition, and she was a main source of support for Dane through his illness.
She wrote, "It's a very complicated relationship, one that's confusing for people. Our love may not be romantic, but it's a familial love."
View this post on InstagramAs for the divorce, Gayheart wrote, "We were about to and then we didn't." Despite never formally divorcing, she noted, "We haven't lived in the same home for eight years; he's dated other people, I've dated someone."
When Dane was diagnosed with ALS, Gayheart determined she would do "whatever" she could to help make his battle with ALS "better for him or easier for him."
"That's what you do. That's the right thing to do," she said.
On March 12, Gayheart spoke with Today. She shared she hopes Dane is remembered for "how he showed up for other people, and his advocacy for ALS and the good fight that he fought."
Gayheart added that Dane "simply refused to let this disease take away hope, his life, his ability to do things, his friendships, his relationships. He did not want his purpose stripped away by this disease."
Nick Viall and Natalie Joy’s Love Story: Marriage, Kids and Defying an 18-Year Age Gap
Bachelor alum Nick Viall and his wife, Natalie Joy, are taking their relationship expertise to TV with Age of Attraction. The Netflix series, which is now streaming, throws singles ranging from 22 to 60 into the dating pool, with one provocative twist: no one knows anyone else’s age. The point? To find out whether age really matters when it comes to love.
The show is a fitting social experiment for Nick and Natalie: The couple, now 45 and 27, respectively, have an 18-year age gap.
While Nick has admitted to having a “hard time” coming to terms with their age difference early on in their relationship—“What were people going to say?” he remembers thinking—he eventually let that fear go and embraced their compatibility. Now, he said, “Having Natalie in my life has been the best thing that's ever happened to me.”
Keep reading to learn more about the Vialls’ romance, including their bold first encounter and whether they have kids.
Who is Nick Viall’s wife?Nick is married to Natalie Joy, a former model turned healthcare professional who has since pivoted to co-hosting the podcast The Viall Files with her husband, as well and the new Netflix series Age of Attraction.
Natalie first entered Nick’s life in 2019, after he appeared in two seasons of The Bachelorette (2014 and 2015), one season of Bachelor in Paradise(2016) and, finally, The Bachelor (2017).
The two tied the knot on April 27, 2024, in a ceremony on Joy’s family farm in Georgia, just months after welcoming their first child.

What does Natalie Joy do for a living?Natalie dropped out of high school at 15 to pursue a career in modeling, but she ultimately returned to school and became a certified surgical technologist, meaning she’s worked in operating rooms assisting surgeons. (At one point, she worked for a reconstructive surgeon at the Georgia Institute for Plastic Surgery.)
These days, she’s best known as a co-host on Nick’s podcast, The Viall Files, and now as a co-host on the Netflix dating series Age of Attraction.
Did Nick Viall meet his wife on The Bachelor?Nope. After years of dating within Bachelor Nation, including a short-lived engagement to Vanessa Grimaldi in 2017, Viall ultimately found love off-screen.
“On the show, you’re feeling excitement and lust and chemistry, but real love is trust and security and the feeling that your partner knows who you are, which is all impossible to have on The Bachelor,” he told Esquire. “Real love isn’t possible in that environment, but real feelings are. Sometimes they turn into love, and sometimes they just get confused with love because of the general excitement level.”
How did Nick Viall and Natalie Joy meet?Like a lot of modern love stories, this one started with a DM—and a pretty bold one at that. “You’re unreal,” Natalie messaged Nick. That led to talking and texting, but given their distance—he lived in Los Angeles, she was in Savannah—they didn’t meet until the following month, on a trip to New York.
They spent the next 10 months seeing each other as much as they could—a weekend here, a weekend there—but it wasn’t exclusive, despite Natalie’s wishes, because Nick wasn’t ready.
“I feel like the reason I stuck around for so long is because I genuinely always knew it was him, and I just knew he would come around at some point,” Natalie told The New York Times. “Every time I was with him, I felt at home. I felt super safe and protected.”
Still, she wasn’t going to wait around forever, and Nick knew it. “I wasn’t fully giving her everything she deserved at the time,” he told the New York Times. “She wasn’t going to stick around for something that was less conventional. Which I obviously always respected about her and, you know, made me really have to think long and hard about what was important to me.”
In July 2020, he told her he loved her and wanted to be exclusive. By November, they were living together in Los Angeles.
What is the age difference between Nick Viall and Natalie Joy?Nick and Natalie have an 18-year age gap. While Nick admitted to feeling “self-conscious” about their nearly two-decade age difference at first, Natalie has never been fazed by it.
“I wasn't really the one who had any doubts or nervousness around it,” she said, explaining that age gaps are common in her family. ”It just wasn't anything that I wasn't used to. So I think, for me, that's just an easy thing to not really worry about.”
Now the couple is monetizing their age difference as co-hosts of Netflix’s Age of Attraction.
When did Nick Viall and Natalie Joy get married? The couple got married on April 27, 2024, in a romantic, multi-day celebration in Georgia, when their daughter was nearly 3 months old.
Although the celebration took place on a farm, it wasn’t without elegance. "I've always wanted to have a tuxedo black-tie event. And even though we're having [the wedding] on the farm, we're doing both," Nick said of the occasion. "...It's kind of like a Vogue on the farm kind of vibe."
Do Nick Viall and Natalie Joy have children?Yes, they share a daughter, River Rose, born Feb. 2, 2024, and are currently expecting twin girls.
"It's only added to my life,” Nick said of being a father. “It has only added more meaning and purpose and wonderful moments. I truly feel like I'm living the dream and it's been an incredibly fulfilling experience."
How many miscarriages has Natalie Joy had?The Vialls have been open about Natalie’s pregnancy losses, sharing that she experienced three miscarriages in 2025 alone.
On a January 2025 episode of The Viall Files, Natalie revealed that she was “actively miscarrying” while taping. “It has been the biggest heartbreak, I think, of my life," she said of the experience.
After her third miscarriage, Natalie sat out the podcast. “She's obviously at home resting, healing, both physically and emotionally,” Nick shared. “It's been a whirlwind and we're trying to get through it as a family. It's all very confusing how you're supposed to mourn something like this … but we appreciate your support."
After a series of losses, the couple revealed in February 2026 that they were expecting twins.
“It's surreal. It's a dream come true,” Natalie told E! News. “I can't believe I get to even say the words out loud that I'm pregnant and that I'm this far along and that I'm having twins. It's crazy to me. It feels like a fever dream.”

How long did Nick Viall and Vanessa stay together after The Bachelor?Nick and Vanessa got engaged on The Bachelor in 2017, but the relationship didn’t last. They split about five months after their engagement was televised in March 2017, ending their relationship in August.
Are Nick Viall and Natalie Joy still together?Yes, very much so. Gushing over his wife, Nick said, “I was grateful for the life I had before, but in every meaningful and measurable way, [Natalie’s] changed it in such great ways.”

"I do feel like as a woman, culturally, you're not allowed to say, 'I didn't want to have kids.' Because it's like, what's wrong with you?" she said. "I think as a man it's like, oh cool, you didn't want to have kids. Now, women are getting more free to make their own choices."

Pursue the things that fill you with joy, and surround yourself with loving people,” she told the publication. “Also, I do affirmations. I think they are very powerful. I work on strengthening my inner loving parent muscle, so I can be supportive and loving to myself. One of my affirmations is: ‘This is the best time of my life.’”
'70s Actor, With Golden Globe Award, Turns 75
Famed character actor Brad Dourif is celebrating a major birthday.
Dourif, who turned 75 on Wednesday, first rose to prominence in the 1970s with his breakout role in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Portraying the vulnerable Billy Bibbit, he delivered a performance that earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor and a win at the Golden Globe Awards for Most Promising Newcomer.
Bibbit's character has a stutter, which meant that Dourif had his work cut out for him in preparing for the role. "I kind of reverse-engineered it," he told The Guardian last year. "I started doing stutter exercises in public places where people were in a hurry and there were lines and people didn't have time for you, so it was a kind of stress situation."
The role instantly established Dourif as one of the most compelling actors of his generation. His ability to bring emotional depth and intensity to his characters set him apart and laid the foundation for a long and varied career. "I think the most extraordinary experience as an actor that I've had in film was Cuckoo's Nest,” Dourif shared. "When things get magical, there's no comparison."

(Photo by Michael Ochs Archives/Getty Images)Throughout the decades to follow, Dourif became known for taking on memorable supporting roles across film and television. He appeared in critically acclaimed projects like The Lord of the Rings trilogy, where he played the manipulative Gríma Wormtongue, and the beloved television series, Deadwood, earning an Emmy nomination for his performance as Doc Cochran.
He is also widely recognized for lending his voice to one of horror's most iconic characters. Dourif is the voice behind Chucky, in the Child's Play franchise—a role he has continued for decades and one that introduced him to a whole new generation of fans.
Despite often working outside the spotlight, Dourif's performances have consistently drawn praise for their intensity and originality. Whether in drama, fantasy or horror, he has built a reputation as one of Hollywood's most distinctive and reliable character actors.
As Brad Dourif turns 75, his legacy is defined by his remarkable ability to transform every role into something unforgettable.
Style Icon Sofia Coppola Breaks Down Her Aesthetic: Three Words, One Uniform, and the End of Wardrobe Anxiety
Sofia Coppola has spent thirty years perfecting a visual language that most designers would sell their vintage Birkins to replicate. From the sun-drenched haze of The Virgin Suicides to the neon-soaked loneliness of Lost in Translation, her DNA is the blueprint for every aesthetic currently fighting for oxygen on your feed.
But while the internet tries to deconstruct her vibe with a thousand tutorials, the Oscar-nominated director is handing over the keys to the kingdom. When asked to boil down the look that launched a million Pinterest boards, Coppola spoke to Elle and offered a simple, three-pronged North Star: “I like things that look pretty natural, soft, pretty girly.”
For anyone who has spent twenty minutes staring blankly at a closet full of clothes with nothing to wear, Coppola is offering the ultimate permission slip to stop trying so hard. Her secret to looking like the coolest woman in the room is a relentless, almost surgical commitment to a few perfect pieces.
On the three wardrobe items she simply cannot live without, she sticks to the classics that have anchored her look since the 90s: “Men’s button down and jeans. I have a uniform when I shoot so I don’t have to think. I love a classic Chanel jacket and a nice tshirt.”
This is the Coppola Code: the friction between a structured, legacy piece like a Chanel jacket and the casual, ease of a worn-in white tee. It’s a high-low mix that feels attainable because in so many ways it is. By leaning into a uniform, she’s hacked her own morning routine, freeing up her brain for the monitor while maintaining a look that stays immune to the expiration date of fast fashion.
Despite her reputation for being somewhat offline and elusive, Coppola is well aware that a new generation is currently raiding her archive for inspiration. Whether it's Coquette-core or the endless Soft Girl reels, her influence is everywhere, even if she isn’t the one hitting “post."
The source of her intel? It’s coming from inside the house. “My daughters sometimes show me stuff on TikTok and I’m flattered and happy that anyone is interested in what I’m into,” she admitted. It’s the classic Coppola response you’d expect from a woman whose personal style is a global currency. She isn’t chasing the algorithm; the algorithm is chasing her.
Coppola’s eye didn't develop in a vacuum. Her look is backed by an appreciation for fashion history, leaning on women who prioritized character over being on trend. Her fashion icons include a Mount Rushmore of chic: Anjelica Huston, former Vogue editor Diana Vreeland, ‘90s It-girl Tina Chow, supermodel Veronica Webb, and Lauren Hutton.
Nancy Guthrie Update: Why Investigators Keep Returning to Question Neighbors, According to Former FBI Agent
Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie‘s mom, Nancy Guthrie, is still missing more than six weeks after the abduction from her Tucson, Ariz., home—and a retired FBI agent recently explained why investigators keep returning to question neighbors of the 84-year-old.
In the March 17 episode of Brian Entin Investigates, NewsNation ‘s Senior Investigative Reporter Brian Entin spoke with former FBI special agent Steve Moore to get his perspective.
Recently, investigators asked Nancy's neighbors about people who recently moved out of the Catalina Foothills area and about several houses that are under construction.
“Obviously, it means they’re retracing steps,” Moore told Entin before using an analogy to further explain the situation. “Say you can’t find your car keys. You walk through the house or the apartment, you look for where you usually leave them, they’re not there. Then you have to go back, and you have to retrace, and you have to say, ‘Hey, what pants was I wearing?’ Or, ‘Where’s my purse?’ And you go to the second level."
He continued, "When you get down to the third or fourth level, these are things you don’t usually check. But you may start pulling cushions off couches, things like that. You’ll go in deeper and deeper and deeper."
To those wondering why the FBI didn't already ask neighbors these questions, Moore offered further insight.
Because the normal search yields your keys in about 20 seconds. The secondary search yields them in about two to five minutes," he said. "And if you start with undoing the couch cushions in your living room, you’ll never get to the bedroom where the keys are."
Moore concluded, "So they are now, obviously, to the point where they are pulling up cushions in the couch. And I think that would explain they are not actually at Day 2, though I understand completely why it seems that way. They are where they would have been if all normal searches didn’t work."
Nancy was last seen at her home on the evening of Jan. 31, with the Pima County Sheriff's Department launching its search on Feb. 1. As of writing, no suspect has been named.

How did Season 4 of The Lincoln Lawyer end?Season 4 of The Lincoln Lawyer was all about Mickey Haller’s fight to prove he was innocent of murder and that the body discovered in his car at the end of Season 3 was put there to frame him. Mickey’s made a lot of enemies during his career, so it takes him a while to figure out who was responsible. In the end, Alex Gazarian (Michael A. Goorjian) had Sam killed and framed Mickey but proving it wasn’t going to be easy.
When things looked the darkest, Mickey got help from his ex-wife Maggie, who put her life in San Diego on hold to join his legal team, and in the end, he was exonerated and got an apology from the District Attorney to clear his reputation.
But just like the surprise ending of Season 3 where Mickey was arrested for murder, Season 4 ended with another cliffhanger. Mickey was returning to his car after shopping for groceries when there’s a drive by aimed at him by the Armenian mob, and he’s pushed to safety by a woman named Emi, who he saw in the grocery and who tells him, “Actually, I’m your sister.”

Will there be a Season 4 of Paradise?Sadly, it doesn't seem so. Fogelman, the creator, has said in the past that he has a "plan for three seasons of the show."
Hoberg spoke about formulating the "three-season idea" in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, published in February 2026. "We knew we were in the bunker season one, and we knew we were going out and Xavier [Sterling K. Brown] was going to look for his wife [in season two]. We also knew that we were headed for a collision of two different worlds," Hoberg said.
In the same interview, Hoberg admitted, "We know what the end is, and it's an end that would make it very difficult to make a season four come afterward."
