Sherri Shepherd’s Daytime Talk Show Canceled After Four Seasons

Mon, 02/02/2026 - 8:11pm

The daytime television landscape is shrinking once again.

Debmar-Mercury has confirmed it will cancel Sherri, the popular talk show hosted by Sherri Shepherd, at the end of its current season.

In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter on Monday, February 2, Debmar-Mercury emphasized that the move was not a reflection of Shepherd’s performance or the show’s creative direction. “This decision is driven by the evolving daytime television landscape and does not reflect on the strength of the show, its production—which has found strong creative momentum this season—or the incredibly talented Sherri Shepherd,” they said. “We believe in this show and in Sherri and intend to explore alternatives for it on other platforms.”

Shepherd’s show debuted in 2022 and ran for four seasons, offering a familiar daytime format centered on celebrity interviews and pop culture conversations, airing primarily on Fox-owned stations across the country.

It’s safe to say many Sherri fans are devastated to hear the news, and took to social media to share their sadness.

“Daytime TV is ruthless. One minute you’re building an audience, the next minute poof,” one Threads user noted.

An X user shared, “Sad to hear about Sherri ending after four solid seasons!  Sherri Shepherd brought so much energy, humor, and realness to daytime TV.”

Another X user questioned, “So are we just not doing daytime tv anymore?”

Some seemed to be okay with the news, however.

“Sherri Shepherd wasn’t no good replacement for Wendy Williams anyways,” an X user shared, referencing Wendy Williams and her popular talk show, which went off air in 2022.

The cancellation arrived just hours after NBCUniversal revealed plans to end The Kelly Clarkson Show after seven seasons.

Host Kelly Clarksonaddressed the end of her own show directly on social media. “I have been extremely fortunate to work with such an outstanding group of people at TKCS, both in Los Angeles and New York,” Clarkson wrote. “There have been so many amazing moments and shows over these seven seasons. I am forever grateful and honored to have worked alongside the greatest band and crew you could hope for, all the talent and inspiring people who have shared their time and lives with us, all the fans who have supported our show, and to NBC for always being such a supportive and incredible partner.”

Later on Feb. 2, however, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos shared disturbing new details with Tom Llamas on NBC Nightly News.

“We believe she was taken out of the home against her will, and that’s how this investigation is moving," Nanos revealed, per Today.com.

He added, "I can’t think of the last time, where in the middle of the night, in someone’s bed, an 84-year-old woman disappeared on us,” he added.

Additionally, law enforcement officials told NBC Nightly News that they believe Nancy was harmed when she was abducted from her home.

On Monday evening, a rep from the Pima County Sheriff's Office told TMZ that investigators are looking at registered sex offenders in the area. They are also reviewing videos from cameras at Nancy's home, neighboring homes, local businesses and traffic lights.

Police did not indicate whether blood was found inside Nancy's home, if the residence was in a state of disarray from a struggle, or whether there was a force entry, per TMZ. The sheriff's office is reportedly working with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

As of writing, Nancy had not been located.

Travis confessed to his infidelity via Instagram Story on Saturday, Jan. 17.

“This is hard to write, but I owe the truth and I owe an apology. I was unfaithful to my wife. I had an affair and repeatedly broke her trust,” Travis wrote. “There is no excuse for what I did. This was my failure and my responsibility alone.”

“I know that words don’t begin to express the damage I caused or the depth of the hurt I’ve brought into her life, but I am truly sorry. I’m sorry for the pain, humiliation, and betrayal I caused my wife through my choices,” he continued. “I understand that an apology doesn’t repair what I broke, and forgiveness is not something I deserve or can ask for. I am taking responsibility by getting help and doing the work to change and become a more honest and accountable man, regardless of outcome. I ask for privacy and grace for Katie as she processes this in her own time.”

“We are working through this privately, seeking counsel both together and individually as we try to determine the best path forward for our family. I am also being supported by legal counsel,” she added. “This is not a quick or easy process, and it is not one I am taking lightly. Every decision about our future will be made slowly and carefully, with what is best for our family and our children as the highest priority.”

Gordon Ramsay's Hilarious Reason for Crying at His Daughter's Wedding Day

Mon, 02/02/2026 - 7:32pm

Gordon Ramsay was seen wiping away tears when he saw his daughter, Holly Ramsay, in her wedding dress for the very first time. Holly, who wed Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty on Dec. 27, 2025, shared the intimate father-daughter moment on Instagram, with fans instantly relating to the Michelin-star chef's emotions.

However, while appearing on The Jennifer Hudson Show on Jan. 29, Ramsay revealed the real reason behind his tears at his daughter's wedding—joking that it hit him how expensive Holly's dress was!

"I was very emotional," Ramsay told Hudson as the now-viral clip played. "I was crying 'cause I realised how expensive the dress was there. That's when it suddenly hit me."

He continued, "It's quite an emotional moment. We have six kids, three girls, three boys. Seeing your daughter there [in her dress] for the first time … You just see this little girl just transformed into this amazing lady, and it just gets you. Wow."

View this post on Instagram

Speaking with Vogue about her wedding, Holly shared that her famous father had a habit of tearing up whenever she discussed anything related to her big day. "Dad cries every time I talk about the wedding," she said, adding, "The other day I was asking him which car he and I would take to the church, and he welled up immediately."

She also revealed that, naturally, her dad was in charge of the food. "Dad has been extremely involved in the food," she shared, noting that Ramsay's team at his luxury London restaurant, Savoy Grill, helped plan her wedding menu.

On top of that, Ramsay also prepared a speech for his daughter's wedding. Speaking with the U.K. talk show This Morning, he shared he was "a hot mess."

"It's tough, honestly — I mean, being a dad with three daughters, you dream of that moment. That moment arrives, and you're just like a hot mess," he said, adding, "The speech was perfect. It went well. You got to find that sort of — you've got to be warm, emotional ... It was just a tough gig."

Grammys Leave Beloved Metal Guitarist Out Of 'In Memoriam Segment: 'They Suck'

Mon, 02/02/2026 - 7:30pm

You can spend twenty-five years as the celebrated guitarist of an era-defining metal band, tour the world to play in front of millions of fans, even win a Grammy award for Best Metal Performance...and the Recording Academy still won't air your name during the "In Memoriam" segment after your tragic death.

The Grammys have a notoriously poor track record with metal (Metallica lost the first Metal Performance Grammy to Jethro Tull in 1989). However, with the Recording Academy scheduling a star-studded tribute to Ozzy Osbourne during the Feb. 1 ceremony, metalheads hoped this would mean the Recording Academy would also recognize Brent Hinds, the Mastodon guitarist who died in a motorcycle accident on August 20, 2025.

That was not the case. As Post Malone, Slash, Duff McKagan, Andrew Watt and Chad Smith performed "War Pigs" in honor of Ozzy, images of late rockers appeared on the back screen: Ace Frehley (Kiss), Mick Ralphs (Bad Company), Rick Derringer, Chris Jasper (The Isley Brothers), Roy Thomas Baker, Clem Burke (Blondie) Brian James (The Damned), Jellybean Johnson (The Time), and David Johansen (New York Dolls).

The omission upset many because Mastodon a six-time Grammy-nominated band, having won Best Metal Performance in 2018 for "Sultan's Curse."

but Mastodon opened Back To The Beginning, the 2025 Black Sabbath/Ozzy Osbourne farewell concert. Earlier in the night, the 2026 Grammys awarded Yungblud with the Best Rock Performance for his cover of "Changes," which he performed at Back to the Beginning.

"BIG party foul Grammys for forgetting the MIGHTY Brent Hinds in the In Memoriam," wrote Mike Inez, bassist for Alice In Chains, on Instagram.

Brann Dailor, drummer for Mastodon and bandmate of Brent Hinds, added a series of fire emojis on Inez's post. Pearl Aday, daughter of Meatloaf, added that the Grammys "also failed to acknowledge my father the year that he passed." Gary Holt of Exodus/Slayer wrote, "LAME."

The rest of the comments were just as degasified: "The Grammys have disrespected hard rock and heavy metal since 1989. No surprises"; "They suck"; "Would have been a no-brainer to put him up on screen during the Ozzy tribute"; "such a great talent overlooked!"

Related: Mastodon Remembers Late Guitarist in Powerful Onstage Tribute: 'We Were Brothers to the End'

Bassist Pete Griffin (Dethklok, Stevie Vai) commented, "Fully agree. I keep saying I can't think of anyone else who inspired so many weirdos to pick up an instrument and make art. I miss him every day." He also called out the Grammys with his own post.

The Recording Academy keeps an updated database of "the artists, creators and music professionals we've lost over the years." The entry for Hinds doesn't feature a clear photo of him, though it does acknowledge his work with Mastodon.

Hinds and Mastodon parted ways in early 2025. Though Mastodon's statement said the split was mutual, Hinds later claimed he was "kicked out" of the group while disparaging his former bandmates.

Hinds died after his motorcycle collided with a BMW SUV in Atlanta, Georgia. A month after his death, the Atlanta Police Department shared a report, finding that Hinds was driving twice the speed limit and that he was at fault for the fatal crash.

Mon, 02/02/2026 - 7:24pm

Kanye West (now known as Ye) recently returned to the stage, marking his first concert in Mexico in 18 years, since the Glow in the Dark Tour in 2008.

The 48-year-old delivered a surprising moment after he was joined by his daughter, North West, whom he shares with ex-wife Kim Kardashian and delivered a stunning version of his 2014 track “Only One.”

Before the hype and attention surrounding his buzz-worthy two-night concert in Mexico, Collider released its list of the 25 Greatest Songs, further proving how the 22-time Grammy winner continues to shape modern music.

As the publication narrowed down the most exceptional and remarkable songs from roughly the last 25 years, Ye’s song “Runaway” claimed the top spot.

Released in 2010, the song appeared as part of his fifth studio album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and featured fellow rapper Pusha T.

The iconic intro became a recognizable signature as it opens with a high-pitched E piano note, repeated 15 times, creating a haunting, lonely tone.

Not only did it mark one of the album’s most memorable collaborations, but it also earned Ye various nominations for Video of the Year and Director of the Year for the 2011 BET Awards as well as a nod for International Video of the Year at the iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards 2011.

The 16-year-old song has stood the test of time and remains a benchmark for artistic risk-taking in hip-hop and music artistry.

Meanwhile, following the “I Wonder” hitmaker on Collider’s 25 Greatest Songs of the 21st Century list is LCD Soundsystem’s 2007 song "All My Friends," followed by The Killers’ “Mr. Brightside,” which became the Buffalo Bills and their fans’ (Bills Mafia) signature fourth-quarter anthem.

The list also includes "Pyramids" by Frank Ocean, "Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels)" by Arcade Fire, "Us” by Regina Spektor, "Umbrella" by Rihanna featuring Jay-Z, "Since I Left You" by The Avalanches, "Crazy in Love" by Beyoncé featuring Jay-Z, "Oblivion" by Grimes, "Wolf Like Me" by TV on the Radio, "Toxic" by Britney Spears, "Good Luck, Babe!" by Chappell Roan, "Heartbeats" by The Knife, "Swimming Pools (Drank)" by Kendrick Lamar, "Bad Romance" by Lady Gaga, "Casimir Pulaski Day" by Sufjan Stevens, "Seven Nation Army" by The White Stripes, "Run Away with Me" by Carly Rae Jepsen, "Bad Guy" by Billie Eilish, "Hey Ya!" by Outkast, "Electric Feel" by MGMT and lastly pop sensation Taylor Swift’s "All Too Well (10 Minute Version)" released in 2021.

Taylor Swift's 2021 Hit Ranked as Her Best Song Ever

Mon, 02/02/2026 - 7:13pm

Taylor Swift has once again reminded the world why she is one of the most influential songwriters of her generation.

According to a comprehensive ranking by Cosmopolitan editors, her 2021 extended track, “All Too Well (10-Minute Version),” claims the top spot as her best song ever. Fans of the singer, often called Swifties, are celebrating the recognition of what many have long considered a lyrical masterpiece.

Released originally on Swift’s 2012 album Red, the song was later reimagined for Red (Taylor’s Version) with a 10-minute expansion that reveals previously unheard verses.

According to Cosmo, critics and fans alike praise the extended version for taking the heartbreak, vulnerability and storytelling that made the original song iconic and elevating it to a whole new level.

As one Cosmopolitan editor put it, the track’s “gutting lyrics that many of us can relate to all! too! well!” and the power of the bridge cement its place at the pinnacle of Swift’s discography.

Unlike many pop songs that rely on catchy hooks and beats, “All Too Well” is a story-driven ballad that explores the emotional depths of a doomed relationship. Taylor Swift collaborated with her longtime songwriting partner, Liz Rose, to craft verses filled with vivid imagery, from scarves and autumn leaves to intimate coffee shop moments.

The extended version even includes references to moments in Swift’s life, yet it remains relatable to anyone who has experienced love and loss. One lyric perfectly encapsulates the sentiment:

“And you call me up again just to break me like a promise / So casually cruel in the name of being honest.”

“All Too Well (10-Minute Version)” isn’t the only track showing Swift’s growth. Her catalog spans from early hits like "Tim McGraw" and "Our Song" to introspective ballads such as “Mirrorball” and “Eldest Daughter.”

Songs like “August” capture fleeting summer romances with nostalgic charm, while tracks like “Delicate” reveal her trademark vulnerability in modern relationships. Critics highlight how she balances pop appeal with emotional depth, whether it’s through synth-driven anthems like “New Romantics” or piano-led heartbreak tracks like “Cornelia Street.”

Cosmopolitan editors note that ranking Swift’s songs was no easy task. Her 12 albums, vault releases and re-recorded hits show an evolution from teenage country prodigy to global pop icon. Yet, despite her commercial success and wealth, her lyrics remain deeply human, addressing themes of love, loss and self-discovery that resonate with fans across generations.

'80s Rock Legend, 75, Releases New Single and Fans Deem Him the 'Most Talented Artist in the Universe'

Mon, 02/02/2026 - 7:00pm

Fans were beyond thrilled when Peter Gabriel announced his new album, o\i, a follow up to his critically acclaimed 2023 album i/o...which is being released in the same unique style, with a single dropping on each full moon of the year. The first song, "Been Undone," came out on Saturday, Jan. 3...and over the weekend, February's first full moon brought listeners another "genius" new tune.

Titled "Put the Bucket Down," the song fits into a greater creative vision, as Gabriel, 75, explained.

“As a side project, I am working on a show with the brain as the central core and there are a number of songs, some on i/o and some on o\i that will be part of that," her said, per Louder. "This is one of those and it's a point in the narrative where we can both read and write thoughts and the person singing is not sure whether he has his own thoughts or not. Is he inside his own mind or inside someone else's?"

"The ‘bucket’ is all the crap that goes around our head all the time, so it is putting the bucket down to find your way forward," Gabriel continued.

"I started building rhythmic elements around, what I call, a lop-sided loop, and got quite excited. When we had the band play it, it really came to life so that feels good for me. The band and me working away is the bulk of the song, but when we were in the orchestral sessions, I asked John Metcalfe to come up with a part — it was scribbled out on the day in the studio — which is ridiculously simple, but it serves the song nicely," the musician added.

Commenters on YouTube were quick to rave about "Put the Bucket Down."

"Peter Gabriel, the most talented and innovative artist of the universe! Please, never put the creativity bucket down!!!" one person wrote, with a second adding, "Peter Gabriel is a God sent gift to humanity."

"Thank you Peter Gabriel for sharing your genius with us!" gushed someone else.

'Put the Bucket Down' is being released with a unique original artwork

As was the case with "Been Undone," "Put the Bucket Down" is being released with a new, original piece of art. This time around, the piece — called "Cosmic Spider/Web" — is by Tomás Saraceno and features the work of three different type of spiders.

“I'm delighted this month that we have an artwork created by Tomás Saraceno and 12 spiders who are credited with authorship on this," Gabriel said. "He's a really interesting artist and his Aerocene project was the first thing that I came across."

"This work, integrating with nature and co-creating with spiders is fascinating," he continued. "I think it's a beautiful thing and somehow there seems to be a connection with webs and nature and the brain, so for me, it fits right in."

All the songs on o\i will be available in “Dark-Side” and “Bright-Side” mixes, with “Bright-Side” mixes being released on every month’s new moon. Tchad Blake’s Dark-Side Mix of Put The Bucket Down will be released later this month.

SZA Offers Unique Explanation for Cher’s Luther Vandross Flub at the 2026 Grammys

Mon, 02/02/2026 - 6:41pm

SZA was just as confused as everyone else when Cher name-dropped Luther Vandross during her and Kendrick Lamar’s Record of the Year win at the 2026 Grammys.

Cher, 79, made waves during the Sunday, February 1, ceremony when she presented the Record of the Year category. She initially announced the winner as Luther Vandross rather than Lamar, 38, and SZA, 36, for their song “Luther,” which is inspired by the late singer.

SZA later reacted to the mix-up, explaining why Cher might have made the mistake.

“We share the frequency of the song, like, that’s his frequency that allowed us to win and that allowed us to be, like, memorable,” she told Entertainment Tonight in a video posted via Instagram on Sunday. “So, she’s not wrong and she’s from that era, so she probably really knew Luther Vandross.”

SZA added: “Of course her brain and her energy is connecting that energy to the energy that we’re sharing. We’re mooching off of what Luther already gave us. So, we’re grateful. … Thank you, Luther.”

In another clip from the interview, SZA laughed off the awkward moment, confessing, “I didn’t know what was going on.”

“A legend was speaking … that’s what I understood,” she said. “Cher was, you know, she was queening.”

Cher suffered through more than one blunder while presenting at the Grammys on Sunday. When she first appeared on stage, she received a Lifetime Achievement Award after she was unable to attend the Grammys Special Merit Awards on Saturday, January 31, to accept the accolade. Cher then made a heartfelt speech and subsequently attempted to exit the stage, seemingly forgetting that she still needed to present Record of the Year.

Once she returned, Cher failed to open the envelope to see which of the nominees won the category.

“And the Grammy goes to … Oh! They told me it was going to be on a prompter,” she said before removing the winner’s name from the envelope. “Oh, the Grammy goes to Luther Vandross. Oh, Kendrick, no, Kendrick Lamar!”

Cher was seen apologizing to Lamar, SZA and their collaborators as they came up to accept the award.

In reality, while Vandross did not take home the Grammy for Record of the Year, Lamar and SZA’s song “Luther” contains a sample of his and Cheryl Lynn’s 1982 rendition of “If This World Were Mine.”

Lamar paid tribute to Vandross—who died in July 2005 at age 54 from a heart attack—during his Grammys acceptance speech, explaining that the moment was “special” to him because the late singer is “one of my favorite artists of all time.”

“We know how much him and Cheryl Lynn poured into that record,” he added. “Luther forever.”

This Super Easy Recipe Will Get You Excited About Baked Chicken Again

Mon, 02/02/2026 - 6:23pm

Baked chicken has a reputation, and not always a good one. It is reliable, healthy and practical, but it can also be dry, bland and boring. After enough weeknights staring at the same pan of seasoned chicken breasts, it is easy to lose enthusiasm for this basic dish. That's exactly where I was when I came across a simple baked chicken recipe shared by cookbook author and food creator Matthew Bounds that looked easy but also sounded delicious.

What caught my attention about this honey mustard baked chicken wasn't just the short and simple ingredient list, but how quickly it came together. There are no complicated marinades or methods, just a few pantry staples that turn ho-hum baked chicken into something worth getting excited about.

One person commented on Bounds' video and said it reminded them of Alice Springs Chicken, a signature menu item at Outback Steakhouse. The dish features a grilled chicken breast topped with honey mustard sauce, sautéed mushrooms, crispy bacon and a blend of melted Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheeses. What could be wrong with that?

This recipe has a similar flavor, but this streamlined version is home-cook-friendly. How friendly? I made it in my kitchen and can confirm that it comes together with almost no effort and only two pans. It's a recipe you can make on a busy weeknight and still feel like you cooked something special.

For anyone stuck in a baked chicken rut, this recipe is a much-needed reset. Read on for my recipe review, plus everything you need to know make this dish at home.

Ingredients Needed for Honey Mustard Baked Chicken

Courtesy Angel Albring

The ingredient list for this honey mustard chicken is short. You'll need chicken, of course, but that can be just about any type you like—tenderloins, breasts or thighs all work. Thinner cuts cook faster and stay especially tender, making them ideal for busy nights.

Once you have decided the type of chicken you want, you'll need to grab salt and black pepper, honey mustard, cooked bacon and shredded cheese. Bounds also used garlic powder, onion powder and paprika, but the seasoning blend is flexible here. I looked at what I had in the cabinet and went with Lowry's seasoned salt and garlic powder.

The final layer is optional, but Bounds used crushed croutons for some crunch. I used gluten-free panko.

♬ original sound - Your Barefoot Neighbor How To Make Honey Mustard Baked Chicken

The process begins by arranging the chicken in a single layer in a baking dish, giving each piece enough space to cook evenly. Season generously with salt and pepper (and whatever seasonings you're using). Pour the honey mustard directly over the chicken, coating each piece.

Courtesy Angel Albring

Cover the dish and bake at 350°F until the chicken is almost cooked through and the sauce is thickened slightly. The exact timing will depend on the cut and size of the chicken you use.I used boneless, skinless tenderloins and cooked them for about 15 minutes.

Courtesy Angel Albring

Once the chicken is almost cooked through, but still a little underdone, crumble the cooked bacon over the top, then sprinkle with an even layer of cheese.

Finally, add the panko or crushed croutons, creating a textured topping that will crisp up as it finishes baking.

Courtesy Angel Albring

Stick the dish back in the oven and bake until the cheese is melty and bubbly and the topping turns golden. For me, this took about another 10 minutes.

What makes this method especially smart is its timing. By adding the toppings at the end, you give the chicken time to develop a rich flavor because the mustard has a chance to caramelize a bit. The last 10 minutes of cooking crisp up the breadcrumbs, melt the cheese and ensure that the chicken is cooked through.

My Honest Thoughts About This Honey Mustard Baked Chicken

Courtesy Angel Albring

The best part of this recipe? How easy it is to make. There's very little prep, no mess and no stress. From start to finish, it feels achievable even on nights when cooking feels impossible.

Flavor-wise, the balance is excellent. The honey mustard keeps the chicken juicy and adds some sweetness, while the bacon delivers a savory punch. The textural contrast between the tender meat and crispy topping is super comforting.

The only element I would change next time is the cheese. While it melts nicely and adds richness, it didn't elevate the dish as much as I expected. In fact, the chicken, honey mustard and bacon combination was so strong on its own that the cheese felt unnecessary.

I will make this again, but next time, I'll skip the cheese and let the honey mustard and bacon take center stage.

4 Tips for Making This Honey Mustard Baked Chicken1. Choose your chicken

Tenderloins or thin chicken breasts work best for quick, even cooking, but chicken thighs are a good excellent option for those who prefer dark meat.

2. Doctor the sauce

Honey mustard varies widely in sweetness and tang, so choose one you already enjoy. For more bite, add a small spoonful of Dijon mustard to the sauce.

3. Topping tips

If skipping the cheese, add the bacon and topping directly during the final bake for maximum crunch. For added flavor, mix a pinch of garlic powder or paprika into the panko before sprinkling it on.

4. Reheat it right

Leftovers store well in the refrigerator and reheat best in an air fryer. The microwave works in a pinch, though the topping will soften.

‘90s Hitmaking Rocker Wins First Grammy After Losing 34 Years Ago

Mon, 02/02/2026 - 6:02pm

Nuno Bettencourt finally got his Grammy.

The singer-guitarist of 1990’s hitmaking rock act Extreme won a Grammy on Feb. 1 as part of the ensemble of musicians who played on Yungblud’s cover of the Black Sabbath classic “Changes.” The track was recorded at the “Back to the Beginning” concert that served as a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath and also marked their final performances. Others featured on the recording include Anthrax bassist Frank Bello and Adam Wakeman II, who put in more than 20 years playing keyboards with Osbourne and Black Sabbath.

It was Bettencourt’s second nomination, but first win. His first nomination came with “More Than Words,” Extreme’s chart-topping hit that was nominated for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal, but they lost at the Grammys in 1992 to R.E.M.’s “Losing My Religion.” R.E.M. also won the Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album that year for Out of Time and Best Music Video Short Form, for “Losing My Religion.”

Bettencourt celebrated his long-awaited Grammy victory by posting a photo on his official Instagram account of himself shirtless, with an open jacket, posing with his new award.

Fans and even some fellow rockers, including Mötley Crüe guitarist John 5, were there to congratulate him in the comments.

“You should have won several of them a long time ago! Congratulations, Nuno 👏🙌🔥👑🤘🤘🤘 I’m so proud of you, and proud to be your fan !!! 👏🤘,” wrote one.

“If somebody deserves a Grammy is you. No doubt about it. Congratulations Nuno 💜,” added another fan.

For his part, Bettencourt spoke backstage at the Grammys about the new opportunities that are emerging for the new generation of rockers.

‘The biggest thing about the newer generation is to remember that with all the AI that’s happening, and everybody’s worried—don’t be. This is the biggest opportunity for rockers and rock’n’roll. Real music and real songs are true stories that touch you, there’s blood on the page and you put yourself on that page and nobody’s reproducing that,” he said, per Forbes.com.

“Imperfection is what rock’n’roll is all about. Everybody’s cleaning up the imperfections but this is where it lives. And if you can do it on stage, which is where rock’n’roll lives, AI ain’t messing with you.”

Meanwhile, Extreme is back together and touring this summer with Mötley Crüe and Tesla on the Return of the Carnival of Sins tour, beginning on July 17 and Burgettstown, Pa. and running through Sept. 25 in Ridgefield, Wash. The band is also set to play Monsters of Rock on April 5 in São Paulo, Brazil.

Kelly Clarkson Announces ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’ Is Ending

Mon, 02/02/2026 - 6:01pm

Kelly Clarkson just confirmed that her talk show The Kelly Clarkson Show will be ending after 7 years on NBC.

The singer-songwriter made the announcement on Monday, Feb. 2 via a post on her Instagram.

"I have been extremely fortunate to work with such an outstanding group of people at TKCS, both in Los Angeles and New York," Clarkson began her message. "There have been so many amazing moments and shows over these seven seasons. I am forever grateful and honored to have worked alongside the greatest band and crew you could hope for, all the talent and inspiring people who have shared their time and lives with us, all the fans who have supported our show, and to NBC for always being such a supportive and incredible partner."

"Because of all of that, this was not an easy decision — but this season will be my last hosting TKCS," she continued. "Stepping away from the daily schedule will allow me to prioritize my kids, which feels necessary and right for this next chapter of our lives."

"This isn't goodbye. I'll still be making music, playing shows here and there, and you may catch me on The Voice from time to time...you never know where I might show up next," she added. "But for now, I want to thank y'all so much for allowing our show to be a part of your lives, and for believing in us and hanging with us for seven incredible years."

The show will concluded after its seventh season, which is currently airing, but an exact date has yet to be announced.

In January, rumors began swirling that Clarkson would be ending The Kelly Clarkson Show following its current season.

“[Her show] is a lot to put on, and looking at the landscape across daytime television, it’s not sustainable anymore,” a source told Page Six at the time.

However, a rep for Clarkson denied the reports via a statement to Entertainment Weekly on Monday, Jan. 26.

“Rumor!” the rep said at the time, noting NBC “will advise directly if there is a show update.”

The rep added, “We are not even halfway through season 7!”

News of the talk show's ending comes just six months after Clarkson's ex-husband Brandon Blackstock died at the age of 48 from melanoma on Aug. 7, 2025.

The talent manager, who was the stepson of Reba McEntire, shared two children with Clarkson: daughter River, 11 and sonRemington, 9. Blackstock also had children Savannah and Seth from his previous marriage to Melissa Ashworth.

Maria Shriver Speaks Out After Donald Trump Announces Kennedy Center Closure

Mon, 02/02/2026 - 6:00pm

Maria Shriveris weighing in on Donald Trump's latest announcement involving the Kennedy Center.

Trump announced on Sunday, Feb. 1 that the historic Washington, D.C. venue would be closing down for a two-year period to undergo construction. The news comes less than two months after the president decided to add his own name to the respected landmark, which was designated as a living memorial to President John F. Kennedy after his 1963 assassination.

Shriver, one of JFK's nieces, took to social media on Sunday night to speak out against Trump's plans, insisting that the president is choosing to temporarily shut down the center as a result of numerous performers pulling out of events due to the center's name change.

While reposting Trump's original announcement post from Truth Social, Shriver speculated on Trump's thought process in coming to the controversial decision, writing on X, "Translation: It has been brought to my attention that due to the name change (but nobody’s telling me it’s due to the name change), but it’s been brought to my attention that entertainers are canceling left and right, and I have determined that since the name change no one wants to perform there any longer."

Shriver added: "I’ve determined that due to this change in schedule, it’s best for me to close this center down and rebuild a new center that will bear my name, which will surely get everybody to stop talking about the fact that everybody’s canceling… right?"

Shriver—who is the daughter of JFK’s sisterEunice Kennedy and Sargent Shriver—previously condemned Trump's decision to add his own name to the center that was named for her uncle, calling the change "beyond comprehension," "beyond wild" and "downright weird."

"Just when you think someone can’t stoop any lower, down they go…" she wrote via Instagram at the time.

In Trump's explanation for the closure, he claimed that the center is "tired, broken, and dilapidated," and "has been in bad condition, both financially and structurally for many years."

He expressed his plans to temporarily shut down the center in order to turn it into a "World Class Bastion of Arts, Music and Entertainment," while promising it will be "far better than has ever been before."

According to the president, the closure is expected to take effect beginning on July 4, 2026, in honor of America's 250th birthday.
