Hailey finished her Father's Day tribute on Instagram Stories with a photo of her and her husband together. “Baby Daddy is very fine,” she wrote over the cute image of the couple.

Hailey's adorable Father's Day tribute came a week after she and Justin packed on the PDA when celebrating the New York Knicks' win. She posted a sweet video of the couple celebrating the win together.

Hailey and Justin welcomed Jack in August 2024. and have worked to keep him out of the public eye. Although the famous couple regularly post him on their social media, they always keep his face obscured.

"We don’t take him to a lot of places,” the model noted to Vogue. "We don’t want anyone to…. I mean, you’ve just got to see how invasive it all is. It feels mean to put a baby into that."

In that same Vogue interview, she spoke about her son being a "priority" and how motherhood changed her relationship.

"He is the most important thing to me,” she explained, adding that motherhood has “been my biggest teacher so far, the biggest teacher in my relationship. You see your partner so differently. I think you empathize with your parents a lot more. There’s so much perspective that comes with it.”

The Emotional Trigger Ian McKellen Used for an Upcoming Marvel Scene

Mon, 06/22/2026 - 11:42am

For many moviegoers, Ian McKellen's return as Magneto in Avengers: Doomsday is one of the most anticipated elements of Marvel's next crossover event. The role helped define an era of superheromovies, and the chance to see the X-Men veteran share the screen with Marvel's current generation has fueled months of excitement.

Now, the actor has shared a behind-the-scenes story that gives fans a small glimpse into the making of the film.

Speaking during a public appearance in Rome, McKellen discussed filming a sequence for Avengers: Doomsday and recalled being asked to channel intense emotion for a scene involving Magneto's powers. According to the actor, directors Anthony and Joe Russo encouraged him to think about something he strongly disliked in order to generate the necessary energy for the moment.

McKellen responded with a remark that drew laughter from the audience. He said he imagined destroying Mar-a-Lago while performing the scene, using that image to help create the emotional intensity required for Magneto's actions. The story quickly spread online as Marvel fans reacted to the veteran actor's candid description of the filming process.

The appearance also highlighted how significant Avengers: Doomsday has become for longtime comic-book fans. The film is bringing together characters from multiple corners of Marvel history, including the Avengers, the Fantastic Four and several actors associated with Fox's X-Men franchise. McKellen and Patrick Stewart are among the most recognizable returning faces.

For audiences who grew up with the original X-Men films, McKellen's participation carries strong nostalgia. His portrayal of Magneto dates back more than two decades and remains one of the defining performances in superhero cinema. The prospect of seeing that version of the character interact with heroes from across the Marvel multiverse has become one of the film's major talking points.

The actor's comments came fans continue to dissect every element from Avengers: Doomsday they can, no matter how small. A recent highly pixelated leaked scene that appears to show Doctor Doom facing off against the Avengers sent fans into overdrive.

While McKellen did not reveal any plot details, his story offered something many fans enjoy just as much: a reminder of the personalities behind the characters. As Marvel prepares one of its biggest crossover films to date, even a brief recollection from a veteran actor can become part of the conversation surrounding the return of some of the genre's most beloved heroes and villains.

1957 TV Performance on a 9-Million Viewer Show Helped Launch a Country Classic Voice

Mon, 06/22/2026 - 11:39am

Not every performance follows the path it was expected to take.

On June 22, 1957, country music legend Patsy Cline made one of her many appearances on the networked television program, performing two songs that helped define her early career: "Walkin’ After Midnight" and "Try Again."

At the time, Cline was still a rising talent, building a reputation one televised performance at a time on a show that brought country music into living rooms across America.

What made those appearances so significant wasn’t just the exposure. It was the timing.

Ozark Jubilee was one of the first major TV platforms to regularly showcase country music to a national audience, reaching more than nine million viewers at its peak. For artists like Cline, it was an opportunity to bridge the gap between regional fame and mainstream stardom.

"Walkin’ After Midnight," in particular, would go on to become the song that changed everything. Though it had already been recorded, Cline’s performances on television helped propel it into the national spotlight, eventually turning it into her first major hit and a defining moment in her career.

By the time she made her repeated appearances on Ozark Jubilee, Cline was quickly becoming known for her rich, emotional vocal style; one that would later make her one of the most influential voices in country music history.

Over the course of her time on the program, she appeared a total of sixteen times, steadily building the kind of visibility that few female country artists had at the time.

Cline’s rise was far from instantaneous. Like many of the era’s greatest stars, her success came through persistence, television exposure, and songs that slowly but surely connected with audiences beyond the country circuit.

Behind her growing fame was a voice that could shift effortlessly between heartbreak and strength. That emotional range would later define classics like "Crazy" and "I Fall to Pieces," cementing her legacy long after her life was tragically cut short in 1963.

Dusty May Departing Michigan for NBA in Blockbuster Career Move (Report)

Mon, 06/22/2026 - 11:38am

Michigan coach Dusty May is making the move to the NBA.

ESPN reports that May, who led Michigan basketball to the national title in 2026, is set to take the Dallas Mavericks' head coaching job. The outlet adds that, while he "had ruled out other college jobs this offseason," the NBA "has always been intriguing to May."

The Mavericks parted ways with Jason Kidd after a 26-56 season last year. The team has not made it to the playoffs in the past two seasons, which many attribute to the trade of superstar Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers in February 2025.

So now, May gets to work with an up-and-coming team centered around the 2025-26 NBA Rookie of the Year, Cooper Flagg, who averaged  21.0 points per game last season.

Across his two years in Ann Arbor, he led Michigan to a 64-13 record. And last season was highlighted by the team's big win against Connecticut in the national championship game. Three of the players he coached  — Yaxel Lendeborg, Morez Johnson Jr. and Aday Mara — are expected to be the first-round picks in the 2026 NBA Draft.

May and Michigan also agreed on a contract extension in April, with athletic director Warde Manuel telling fans during the title celebration that May will “be the leader of this basketball team for many years to come.”

“We reached an agreement on the terms, and we’re putting it on paper,” Manuel told The Athletic after the ceremony. “He’s going to be our coach. Dusty and I have a great relationship. We’ve been busy, and my staff has been working on it. It’s going to be on his desk this weekend.”

Before his time with the Wolverines, he was at Florida Atlantic, where he helped the team get to back-to-back NCAA tournaments, including a 2023 Final Four appearance.

1979 No. 1 Hit, One of the Best Female Duets of All Time, Became a Powerhouse Breakup Anthem

Mon, 06/22/2026 - 11:38am

More than 40 years ago, two of music's biggest stars joined forces for a powerhouse duet, and they ended up recording a masterpiece.

In 1979, Barbra Streisand and Donna Summer teamed up for their famous disco-era duet "No More Tears (Enough Is Enough)," which would end up making history as one of the most successful female duets of all time.

Written by Paul Jabara and Bruce Roberts, "No More Tears (Enough Is Enough)" was recorded by Summer and Streisand and released in October 1979. The song is a dynamic crossover track featuring powerful vocals from not just one, but two of music's most iconic voices, notably starting out as a slow orchestral ballad before launching into a powerful and upbeat disco track.

"No More Tears" debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 the same month of its release, and reached No. 1 by November 1979, becoming the first duet by two women to reach the chart summit. It spent two weeks at No. 1, while racking up 15 total weeks spent on the chart.

In 1980, "No More Tears" was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), signifying 500,000 units sold, before it was later upgraded to Platinum status in 1997, after reaching 1 million units sold.

The song is widely regarded as one of the most iconic female duets to ever be recorded, with VH1 ranking "No More Tears" at No. 3 on a roundup of the "Best All-Female Duets of All Time." Billboard also places the Summer-Streisand collab among the "40 Biggest Duets of All Time," ranking at No. 33.

1983 No.1 Rock Classic, Rumored as a Tribute to a Hollywood Icon, Became a Career-Defining Anthem

Mon, 06/22/2026 - 11:33am

By the time Def Leppardreleased their third studio album, they had already established themselves as hard rock heavyweights, but "Photograph" helped propel the band to new heights of fame. The enduring concert favorite has long been rumored to pay tribute to a Hollywood sex symbol.

"Photograph" was released in 1983 and landed at No. 1 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart for six weeks and No. 12 on the Hot 100 chart. It was released as the lead single of their album Pyromania, with the track becoming the catalyst for the band's success. Robert John "Mutt" Lang produced the track and was pushing the band to a more mainstream sound after “Bringin’ on the Heartbreak" was a relative hit.

Def Leppard were looking for their next big single for the album and went back to "Photograph," which was in the works for years. Fans can even hear guitarist Pete Willis on the track before he left the band and was replaced by Phil Collen. The track became legendary among fans for Collen's guitar solo, which he nailed after some guidance from Lang.

Among the track's successes, there's nee a long-standing rumor that has been dispelled over the years. According to American Songwriter, lead singer Joe Elliot told VH1 in 2013 that Lang came up with the lyrics.

“One day Mutt had the line, All I’ve got is a photograph. I said, ‘That’s a Ringo Starr song.’ He went, ‘Nobody will ever notice.’ I said, ‘It’s a photograph of something you can’t ever get your hands on, somebody that’s not here anymore,'" he explained.

What caused a stir was the track's music video that featured a look-alike actor who appeared to be Marilyn Monroe, Hollywood's biggest sex symbol. It led many to believe that the inspiration behind the lyrics was about her, with Elliot dispelling the rumors years later and calling her an "average" actor.

“Over the years it’s become exaggerated to Biblical proportions that ‘Photograph’ was written about Marilyn Monroe, because she was in the video. I don’t want to break anybody’s heart, here, but Marilyn Monroe was just another average actress to me. The song was about somebody that’s out of the picture. All I’ve got is a photograph, but it’s not enough," he said.

The singer would later admit that a poster of Monroe did have some influence, as he would see it on a daily basis. For Elliot, it instead became an analogy of dying young and "about somebody that’s the ultimate ‘you can’t have,’ because they’re not here anymore? Not because they’ve run off with your neighbor or your brother or your mate—they’re not here.”

Since its release, "Photograph" has become a Def Leppard staple and played as the closer for their concerts as the encore.

Southwest Airlines Announces Controversial New Partnership

Mon, 06/22/2026 - 11:30am

Southwest Airlines has a new partner in its quest to be more tech-savvy. It’s just the latest in a year of announced changes for the airline. This new move involves partnering with Amazon Web Services to change how the airline operates. The goal is to make interacting with the airline easier and more efficient.

What Does the New Partnership Mean for Passengers

The partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is aimed at improving the customer experience. By 2028, Southwest will change from a largely on-premises environment to a cloud-based, AI- and agency-enabled platform on AWS. The goal is to provide quicker, more flexible, and more reliable service to its customers.

Lauren Woods, Executive Vice President & Chief Information Officer at Southwest Airlines, said in a press release, "From Customer experience, to operations, to how we build the systems behind it—all of it is coming together in a way that helps our Teams move faster, make better decisions, and deliver for our Customers."

The goal is for the AI agents to help make things go more smoothly. While AI agents have been successful at doing specific tasks, they are still learning the ropes. Research shows that while they’re good at basic customer service, they struggle with tasks like fully autonomous, complex multi-step bookings. These often require a human touch that AI hasn’t yet mastered. So, it will be interesting to see how the change goes for Southwest.

Besides introducing cloud-based environments, Southwest is also modernizing its website. The airline is also using Kiro, AWS’s agile coding service, to modernize its procedures.

The website improvements are aimed at helping the airline move faster and automate tasks so that they take minutes, not hours, to complete.

A Year of Changes for Southwest Airlines

The AWS addition is just the latest in several changes Southwest Airlines has announced this year. The airline recently rolled back a policy requiring plus-size passengers to pay for an extra seat. Now, plus-size passengers can get an extra seat at the gate if one is available. They are still encouraged to book an extra seat if they think they need one.

Southwest also changed its seating policy in January, eliminating open seating and adopting an assigned seating model. Passengers can now choose their seats, including extra-legroom options, when booking.

In April, Southwest also announced a new limit on passengers, allowing only one lithium-powered portable charger per person. Each device must have a capacity of 100 watt-hours or less. Passengers must also keep the chargers with them or in a carry-on bag stored under the seat, not in the overhead compartments.

A Salesperson Knocked on His Door and Made Him a Promise—Dave Ramsey Says It's a Scam You Need to Know About

Mon, 06/22/2026 - 11:28am

There are few things as nerve-wracking as trying to figure out if an opportunity you've stumbled across is the real deal or an elaborate scam. That becomes even truer as we age, and our ability to identify the difference between a really good purchase and something that is too good to be true.

One person called into The Dave Ramsey Show recently to talk about how he fell into the latter category after being scammed by a solar energy company. Dave Ramsey had some really good advice for the man and anyone else planning to sign a contract anytime soon.

View this post on Instagram A Salesperson Showed Up at His Door With a Deal That Seemed Too Good to Be True

Ramsey posted a clip of his June 21, 2026, conversation on Instagram, featuring a man who called in for advice on a contract he had signed with a solar company. "I was scammed into making a long-term deal with them, and I was trying to find a way I can get out of it."

According to the man, a salesperson showed up at his house, promising the caller that he wouldn't have an electric bill if he signed up for solar, because the company would pay his electricity bills going forward. All the man would need to do is make a monthly payment for the solar panels and installation, which he says he confirmed by viewing the contract on the salesperson's iPad.

To sweeten the pot, the solar company's representative said the caller could walk away from the deal after five years if he decided it wasn't a good fit.

Ramsey quickly began asking questions about the interaction, including whether the man received a signed copy of the agreement after completing the online paperwork. "He said they don't give out paper copies," he responded.

Dave Ramsey Had a Warning for Everyone Who Signs Contracts

This scam is actually quite common, and the Federal Trade Commission (FCC) even has a section on its website dedicated to solar fraud, highlighting how Ygrene Energy Fund was found guilty of duping homeowners into taking out loans to finance clean energy systems. However, homeowners quickly learned they were trapped in unfavorable contracts that made it hard to sell their homes down the line, prompting the company to offer $3 million in monetary relief to customers it had worked with.

According to Ramsey, the first step in dealing with these types of scams is to avoid them in the first place. He advised the caller on his show to be wary of signing any contracts without getting a hard copy of the signed version and comparing it to the document you originally filled out.

Next, he told his caller to reach out to the FCC by visiting their website. "There are a couple of those deals that they have shut the solar companies down, or they've gone out of business, and they are releasing people from the liability of the finance contract."

If that doesn't work, Ramsey said the next step involves hiring an attorney. "I'm not a lawyer, but it will probably cost you some money to do this," he continued, adding that it will likely be worth the upfront cost thanks to the money he could save by getting out of the deal.

Ramsey's Followers Said They'd Seen This Before

The comments on Ramsey's posts are usually a mixed bag. However, it seemed like more people had experience with the iPad switch-a-roo and were a little more sympathetic to what the caller was going through.

"That’s the new way to scam people by having people sign a contract electronically and then say there’s not copy of agreement, I learned my lesson before signing printed and get your copy," one person wrote.

"These solar guys are pressuring old people into [an] unrealistic deal that's the scam, should be illegal," another person added.

Only time will tell as to whether this caller is able to get out of this contract, but for those who may be considering solar panels (or any other type of contracts), it's worth taking Ramsey's advice to avoid getting scammed by door-to-door salespeople who are offering you an opportunity that sounds too good to be true.

'Powerpuff Girls' Movie In Development at Warner Bros.

Mon, 06/22/2026 - 11:21am

The Powerpuff Girls are headed to the big screen.

According to Variety, Warner Bros. Pictures Animation announced on Monday, June 22, at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival in France, that a film is in the works.

However, they said that there's no official deal in place, which means no details on the movie's plot have been released.

The show followed three young girls, who were created by Professor Utonium by using a mixture of sugar, spice, and everything nice, using their superpowers to fight "crime and the forces of evil in the city of Townsville.

Powerpuff Girls first premiered in 1998 and continued for six seasons, finishing in 2005. The show created The Powerpuff Girls Movie, which hit theaters in 2002, but didn't have great success. Variety reports that it generated $16 million against an $11 million budget. In 2016, the show was rebooted.

There was also a live-action show that was ordered by the CW. The pilot, which starred Dove Cameron, Yana Perrault, and Donald Faison, was shot, but the show was canceled.

But, with this new movie, fans are beyond excited about the possibility.

"Townsville might be calling again! Even though it's still early days, the idea of a new Powerpuff Girls animated movie is sure to get longtime fans excited. Here's hoping the project gets the green light!," one person commented.

"Even without a confirmed greenlight yet, a Powerpuff Girls film sounds promising. If it happens, it could bring a fresh twist to a classic favorite while keeping the nostalgia alive," another person wrote. "That’s actually exciting news A Powerpuff Girls animated movie could be a fun comeback for Townsville’s heroes. Hopefully Warner Bros. gives it the greenlight soon so we can see Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup back in action!"

"This better come with the original chaos energy," a fan expressed.

This New Horror Novel Asks: What If ‘The Breakfast Club’ Ended Up in ‘Scream’?

Mon, 06/22/2026 - 11:19am

A new horror novel arriving June 23 is already drawing attention from readers who love both nostalgic slashers and modern horror twists.

In "Slasher Summer," author E. L. Chen imagines what happens when a group of friends who spent their teenage years acting out the roles from a cult slasher movie find themselves trapped in a real-life nightmare.

The novel, which was included on Penguin Random House's list of the biggest books arriving in June, centers on seven former friends who reunite years after high school at the remote cabin where a campy 1980s horror movie called Slasher was filmed.

View this post on Instagram

Back in their teenage years, each member of the group embraced a familiar archetype. There was the jock, the cheerleader, the goth, the stoner, the nerd and, of course, the Final Girl. But when they gather for what should be a fun reunion weekend, someone begins recreating the events of the fictional movie they once loved. Tires are slashed, communication is cut off and a masked killer appears.

The setup has earned comparisons to some beloved pop-culture touchstones. Author Ian Rogers described the novel as asking, "What if the cast of The Breakfast Club ended up in the world of Scream?"

Part of the appeal of "Slasher Summer" is the way it blends familiar horror-movie tropes with questions about identity and friendship. While the novel promises masked killers, isolated cabins and Final Girl mythology, the publisher notes that the story is also about the roles people play in high school and how difficult those labels can be to leave behind as adults.

Early reviews have been enthusiastic. Justine Pucella Winans called the book a "blood-soaked delight," while author Daphne Fama praised it as a "smart, disturbing homage to the slasher tradition."

The timing also feels right. Horror novels continue to be one of publishing's hottest categories, with readers embracing everything from traditional slashers to elevated psychological horror. "Slasher Summer" appears poised to appeal to both audiences, combining bloody set pieces with a mystery centered on a group of friends forced to confront their pasts.

Chen is already familiar to horror readers through novels including "Sweetside Motel," "Summerwood/Winterwood" and the upcoming "One of Us Is Already Dead." According to her publisher biography, her fiction has appeared in publications including Strange Horizons, On Spec and The Dark, and she lives in Toronto with her son and what she jokingly describes as a towering to-be-read pile.

For readers looking for a summer horror read packed with nostalgia, mystery and plenty of bloodshed, Slasher Summer arrives June 23.

Critics Call Award-Winning 2009 Novel 'Sag Harbor' the 'Perfect Summer Book'

Mon, 06/22/2026 - 11:10am

There's no shortage of worthwhile novels to pack for your next trip to the beach, be it a fast-paced thriller or a more uplifting romantic novel.

But even then, The New Yorker feels confident they might very well have found the ultimate to book to take with you on a summer beach trip, as detailed in a new story from the iconic literary magazine.

Speaking about some of their favorite books to read for the summer, The New Yorker's reporters specifically pointed to award-winning author Colson Whitehead's 2009 novel Sag Harbor as one of their favorite books to flip through for the season.

"I spent a weekend last summer in front of my air-conditioner reading Sag Harbor by Colson Whitehead, a coming-of-age story set in 1985," a reporter for the outlet shared. "That might be the perfect summer-in-New-York novel."

True to the magazine's description, Sag Harbor follows a Black teenager who spends the summer of 1985 in Sag Harbor, New York: a predominantly Black neighborhood in the mostly white-populated community of Long Island.

Touching upon themes of race, class, gentrification and differing cultures, Sag Harbor served as one of the earliest breakout successes for Whitehead, who would go on to numerous awards within the literary world in the decades to come.

Eight years later, Whitehead would win the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction for his 2016 novel, The Underground Railroad, as well as the National Book Award for Fiction for that same novel. In 2020, he won his second Pulitzer for his novel The Nickel Boys, becoming one of only four writers to ever win the prize twice.

In more recents year, the best-selling author has remained hard at work on his equally well-loved Harlem Trilogy, spanning 2021's Harlem Shuffle and continuing with 2023's Crook Manifesto. He is set to formally conclude the trilogy with Cool Machine on July 21 of this year.

Iconic music producer Clive Davis has died. He was 94.

Davis, who was hospitalized in May for an upper respiratory infection, "passed away peacefully from age-related illness … surrounded by his family and loved ones," his longtime publicist confirmed to USA Today on Monday.

In an Instagram post shared to his account by his family, he was referred to as an "iconic music legend whose vision, instincts, and relentless pursuit of excellence shaped the soundtrack of countless lives."

Davis, was known for working with a young Aretha Franklin and discovering Whitney Houston, among many other artists who became icons of music history. His eye for musicians spanned genres as he bolstered the careers and fame of Janis Joplin, Miles Davis, and later, artists like Alicia Keys and Jennifer Hudson, per The Times.

"We're good partners, we make a good team because we both love music," Houston said in an MTV interview. "I'm talking about music...with great melodies, standards that will last a lifetime through people."

When asked by Billboard this year to name a favorite Houston song, Davis instead talked about the thrill of her success on the charts, not being able to pick just one. As for her 1987 hit, "I Wanna Dance With Somebody," he told the outlet that he was "surprised and gratified" when it hit No. 1.

A staple of the music industry himself, he also became known for throwing legendary parties ahead of every Grammy Awards.

The life of Davis, which started in music law, was profiled in a 2017 documentary Clive Davis: The Soundtrack Of Our Lives. He was also depicted by Stanley Tucci in the biopic Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance With Somebody in 2022.

He was a native New Yorker, born in Brooklyn in 1932. Davis was married twice and is a father of four.

While his personal life largely stayed behind the scenes the years he was churning out hits including Houston's "I Will Always Love You" and Santana's "Smooth," he came out as bisexual in 2013.

“After my second marriage failed…I just found that I would open myself up to the possibility of a relationship based on the person and not on gender,” he said during an appearance at New York's 92nd Street Y. “It was frankly intimidating in the sense that the adage is true…nobody believes in it. You’re either gay or straight or you’re lying. You get tired of not making any progress.”

As for current musicians he may have had his eye on to work with in 2026, he told Billboard that Olivia Dean and Alex Warren came to mind.

'Love Island USA': What Does 'French Fries,' A New Code Word, Mean?

Mon, 06/22/2026 - 11:05am

The islanders on Love Island USA sometimes come up with code words to discuss bedroom activities. A couple took a new step, and another islander called it "french fries." Here is what it means and why that couple might be over.

Spoiler alert for Love Island USA Season 8 Episode 17!

What Does French Fries Mean on 'Love Island USA'? Trinity Tatum on 'Love Island USA'

Ben Symons/Peacock

The couples had fun before they slept in episode 17. Melanie Moreno and Sincere Rhea kissed passionately. Kenzie Annis was on top of Corbin Mims. The other islanders heard some noises and the girls talked about it in the morning in the dressing room.

"Which one of yous [sic] was doing french fries?" Trinity Tatum asked the ladies. Kenzie screamed. She and Bryce [Dettloff] said what they heard was more than kissing.

Kenzie continued screaming and fell to the floor. "I knew it was you," Trinity told her. The narrator Iain Stirling joked about the confusing term in the episode.

"Hello, I am Mystic Iain, and I foresee that, in approximately 30 seconds, millions of Americans will Google, 'french fries sex?'"

The code word "french fries" refers to a finger food, fingers are the most important part of decoding the conversation. Kenzie talked to Trinity about it later while doing yoga. Trinity said Kenzie and Corbin should go to the Hideaway next.

"We were probably doing a bit much, but I feel a strong connection with Corbin and we probably got a little carried away," Kenzie said in the confessional. But the same episode introduces Casa Amor, and that might tear the couple apart.

The women were dressed up and ready to give their partners a sexy dance. The men did the same, and then they got a text that they needed to sneak out for Casa Amor. The women went outside to find out the men weren't there, but they had a TV to watch them in Casa Amor.

New women for Casa Amor were dressed as different characters and danced on the men before they returned the favor. Corbin kissed Amora Cachee. He told Parmida Keshani to "go to work, baby" then kissed her. The Miami native said she is similar to Miami girls, and he was "in trouble."

The ladies were upset about this. "And put your tongue in your f---ing mouth," Trinity said. "'Cause you could have got sent the f--k home." Kayda Bosse agreed and said they should've picked him over Gabriel Vasconcelos.

The TV turned off after the Casa Amor girls finished dancing and before the men danced. "F--k Corbin," Kenzie said in the confessional. "F--k the relationship 'cause clearly it was not real. I'm too smart, I'm too beautiful, I'm too amazing for a sh-t sandwich like Corbin."

Kenzie told the islanders that she's never talking to him again. The villas are close enough for the islanders to hear each other. The ladies heard the Casa Amor women chanting "Casa" after the men danced.

Kenzie wanted to scream back at them. "F-ck you!" she and Kayda shouted back. The Casa girls heard it and looked worried. The episode ended with a teaser that 12 Casa Boys were going to meet the ladies. Kenzie is fired up and might make a new connection.

2008 Alt Rock Song Hit No. 1 and Made History With Digital-Only Release

Mon, 06/22/2026 - 11:05am

"I used to rule the world, seas would rise when I gave the word..." Couldn't agree more, Chris Martin.

Hey Coldplay fans, what's your favorite song by the band? It might be hard to pick.

Back in 2008, one of their catchiest tracks was released, quickly climbing to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 that week.

"Viva la Vida" would also win Coldplay a Grammy Award for Song of the Year, but not before making history with its chart success overseas.

Monday, June 22 marks 18 years since the beloved group landed its first-ever No. 1 hit in the U.K. thanks to the alternative rock thumper. It also became the first download-only song to become a chart-topper, since "Viva la Vida" wasn't released in a physical format in the country.

Coldplay routinely performs the number at its memorable, light-filled concerts, including the Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2016. "Viva la Vida" is instantly recognizable once the looping piano hook kicks off, as fans well know.

Last month, in honor of Spotify's 20th anniversary, the platform released a series of lists that detailed the most-played music in its history. Among these is the “Most Streamed Songs of All Time,” which highlights 20 of the top-performing tracks that have had music fans listening billions of times.

One of the songs that made the list is “Yellow” by Coldplay. Released in 2000, the track was the British rock band’s breakthrough hit, catapulting the four-piece — vocalist and pianist Martin, 49, guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman and drummer Will Champion — into international stardom. Since Spotify’s inception, the song has been streamed over 3.7 billion times, placing it at No. 15 in the list.

“Yellow” was the second single off the band’s debut album, Parachutes. While the song has become one of Coldplay’s most popular songs to date, it surprisingly never reached the top spot in the charts.

1991 Iconic Hit, Which Was Recorded in a Single Take, Was Never Sung Live by Its Lead Vocalist

Mon, 06/22/2026 - 10:57am

In 1990, Brian May had a song that he didn’t think would be possible for Queen’s lead singer Freddie Mercury. Yet, “The Show Must Go On” was recorded in one breathtaking shot.

Released in 1991 and credited to Queen, despite May being the one to pen it, “The Show Must Go On” is a heartbreaking look at Mercury’s private battle with AIDs. After being diagnosed in 1987, he refused to give up, and he continued to record for as long as he could.

However, May had his doubts. By the time the iconic track was ready, May admitted to Mercury that he may not have had the vocal strength to pull it off. What came next was a masterpiece. Mercury downed his shot of vodka and said, “I’ll f–king do it, darling,” before heading into the recording booth. The legend recorded it all in one take, surprising everyone, making it arguably his best performance in the recording booth ever.

When you start to look at the lyrics, you’ll see the message May was sharing as he wrote it. This song was specifically for Mercury, as the whole band knew that he was dying, but nobody wanted to speak about it. They would all speak through their music, and May offered Mercury a chance to share everything he was living through with one haunting song.

In an interview with Absolute Radio, May explained that there was something that spoke to him while he and the band were playing around with some chord sequences, “and the song just leapt into my head so vividly that I sort of questioned whether I’d heard it somewhere else. I could hear ‘The Show Must Go On’ so clearly in my head, and…when everybody had gone, I just put down a demo of it.”

In a bittersweet moment, Mercury would never get to sing the song live. He died six weeks after “The Show Must Go On” was released, at the age of 45. The first time this track would be played live would be on April 20, 1992, with Elton John performing the lead vocals. Paul Rodgers and Adam Lambert have since performed the track with Queen live.

While the last track released while Mercury was alive, it wouldn’t become his last song ever to be recorded. “Mother Love” gained that title, although it was released posthumously in 1995. Mercury recorded the first two verses before telling the other members of Queen that he was too tired to continue recording and that he would return the next day. That never happened, with May singing the final verse.

'The Boroughs' Star Denis O’Hare Shares His Best 'Revenge' Plot After Netflix Cancellation

Mon, 06/22/2026 - 10:45am

Netflix's decision to cut The Boroughs after one season left many of the cast feeling upset, even actor Denis O’Hare. While speaking about how much fans love the series, O'Hare gives his two cents on how they can get their own revenge against the platform.

Despite the Duffer Brothers' success on Netflix withStranger Things, their venture with The Boroughs was cut short. Deadline announced last week that the series was cancelled, despite rumors of possible second and third season renewals. While the series had rave reviews from audiences and a 97% Rotten Tomatoes score, the streaming platform felt its ratings weren't enough.

Following the news of the series cancellation, many of the cast members have come out to express their disappointment. O'Hare addressed it in an Instagram video uploaded on June 20. He spoke about how many fans loved the series and how many "related" to it.

“So, it’s Saturday, and I’m just thinking about the fact that Netflix canceled The Boroughs and how really bummed I am because it was such a great show. It was such a great show and people really seem to love it," said the actor.

“I’ve been astounded how many people have come up to me and talked about how much they like the show and not just like, you know, old people, but I’m talking about anybody, people who are, you know, in their 30s or 40s with kids. Everyone seemed to find something to relate to.”

The actor also added in the video a plan on how The Bouroughs fans can get back at Netflix. He suggested that fans "still have a couple of days before the end of Emmy voting" and they should spam it with votes for the now-cancelled series. Fans can vote for him or anyone in the cast, like Alfie Molina or Geena Davis.

“And vote for The Boroughs for Best Series and, you know, stick it to Netflix and let them know that they made a mistake, you know, because I think that would be sweet revenge. Anyway, I love the show, I miss it and, you know, whatever," he added.

O'Hare's co-star Davis spoke with The Hollywood Reporter to say she has no idea what happened to warrant a cancellation despite the series having been in the Top 10. She called it "rare" for a series not to be renewed with strong ratings, and added that the series creators were able to inform the cast before it became public.

Walmart's Plush Folding Sofa Is a Hosting Game-Changer, and It's Just $70 During Its Summer Deals Event

Mon, 06/22/2026 - 10:45am

Parade aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.

When furniture lovers look back on 2026, they may remember it as the year of the boneless couch. The trend has been taking off in a big way, as shoppers embrace the soft, unstructured loungers that basically blur the line between sofas and jumbo pillows. The Neche Corduroy Folding Sofa Bed offers a similar vibe in a more compact form.

That might be just the thing if you're looking to add extra seating to your home, but lack space for an actual sofa. This hybrid checks all of the boxes, combining classic style with unmatched support. Normally $160 at Walmart, the black, gray, and navy versions are now on sale for just $70. You can also score a white option for $90.

The beauty of the boneless design is that it's very much a set-it-and-forget-it situation. The product arrives tightly sealed in a single box. Simply break the seal to release the couch, which begins to expand in seconds. Give it a good pat and wait about 48 hours for it to reach its full form. There's absolutely no assembly required, a key reason people have gravitated to the trend.

The sofa also happens to be incredibly plush and supportive. It's the ultimate comfort ecosystem, with a headrest and lumbar pillow included for cushioning that feels great whether you're kicking back with a book or lying down for a nap. Both pieces conform to your natural shape, creating an almost personalized feel when you sit or recline.

Boneless structures maintain a sense of stability despite their lack of framework. This Walmart option is a great example, with thick shredded foam creating a firm and substantial base on which to relax. The material is covered with rich corduroy, known for its distinctive ribbed appearance. "This sofa bed is amazing," one shopper wrote. "It's incredibly comfortable and soft!"

"I really like this chair," another person said. "I wanted something I could easily move from room to room for my kiddo or dog and it's perfect. It's slightly heavy, but well worth it given how comfy it is since it's made of foam."
