Country Music Legend's New Album Announced 24 Years After His Death

Sun, 06/21/2026 - 5:49pm

Country music legend Waylon Jennings is set to release a new album more than two decades after his death, giving fans another chance to hear previously unheard recordings from one of the genre’s most influential voices.

The upcoming album, Diamonds, was announced by Waylon’s son, Shooter Jennings, during an appearance on CBS Sunday Morning on Father’s Day. The project continues Shooter’s effort to bring unreleased material from his father’s archives to the public.

Physical editions and digital downloads of Diamonds will be available on Nov. 13, while the album will arrive on streaming platforms on Dec. 11. Fans have already received a first preview with the release of the title track, “Diamonds.”

The newly released song carries added historical significance because it features guitar work from the late Glen Campbell, creating a rare collaboration between two Country Music Hall of Fame artists.

According to Shooter Jennings, the recording was discovered while he was reviewing multiple archival sessions from his father’s collection.

“This track eluded me,” Jennings said in a statement. “I kept finding it across three different sessions while I was going through my father‘s work. At first, I was very confused because of the sound of the guitar as to what it was.”

The song was originally recorded on Dec. 28, 1978, during one of the most successful periods of Waylon Jennings’ career. It was written by Jennings and Campbell and remained unreleased for decades.

Diamonds follows the 2025 release of Songbird, the first album in a planned series of archival projects produced by Shooter Jennings. The Grammy-winning producer has dedicated years to organizing and restoring recordings left behind by his father.

During his CBSSunday Morning interview, Shooter explained that the project is about preserving the true story of Waylon Jennings beyond the public image often associated with the outlaw country movement.

“When somebody is gone, there tends to be…the public remembrance of them can be distorted. People can remember the outlaw part of this or fantasize what he was like, but he’s not here to represent himself,” Jennings said. “But what I felt was so important was you saw how much he loved music… He connected with those songs. All he cared about was music — it wasn’t about image, it wasn’t about money, or anything beyond wanting to be great at music and play music.”

Waylon Jennings remains one of country music’s most celebrated artists. A pioneer of the outlaw country movement, he scored 16 No. 1 hits and helped reshape Nashville by fighting for greater creative freedom for artists. His career included classics such as “I’m a Rambling Man,” “Luckenbach, Texas” and “Mamas Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys” with Willie Nelson.

Jennings died on Feb. 13, 2002, at age 64 due to complications from diabetes. Despite his passing, interest in his music has remained strong, leading to continued demand for archival releases.

The album will contain 12 tracks, including “Saturday Night Special,” “Wild & Blue,” “Lost Love Song” and “Words.” It also includes “I’m Tired,” featuring Waylon’s wife and fellow country star Jessi Colter.

As anticipation builds for Diamonds, country music fans will soon have the opportunity to hear another chapter from Waylon Jennings’ remarkable catalog, 24 years after his death.

It's been a long road for Guthrie this year as she's returned to Today while navigating her mother's disappearance. Before her big return in April, Guthrie sat down for an interview with her close friend and colleague, Hoda Kotb. In the interview, Guthrie shared that she was apprehensive, but hopeful, about returning.

“I don’t know if I can do it,” Guthrie said to Kotb. “I don’t know if I’ll belong anymore, but I would like to try. I would like to try.”

A 'Grease' Actor Almost Threw up on a Ride When Filming the Final Dance Scene

Sun, 06/21/2026 - 5:03pm

Grease has an iconic ending with the students of Rydell High School celebrating graduation. They went to a carnival and Sandy (Olivia Newton-John) debuted her leather look to Danny (John Travolta), who wore a letterman jacket.

The actors were allowed to enjoy some of the rides between takes. One of them almost got sick and was upset about another actor's teasing about it.

The cast reflected on making the final scene with Yahoo!Kelly Ward played Putzie of the T-Birds. He rode The Octopus with Barry Pearl, who played Doody, and Michael Tucci, who played Sonny.

"And 10 seconds into that, Michael started screaming, 'Let me off, let me off, I'm gonna throw up, I'm gonna throw up!'" Ward said. "And I said, 'Don't let him off, we can keep this going!' I thought he was kidding. But he did not like that at all. I, on the other hand, could have stayed on it all day."

Pearl also wasn't a fan of the spinning ride. "I just don't like that whipping around," the actor claimed. "And I'm yelling and screaming to the operator, 'Turn it off!' He thinks I'm having a good time. I can't remember if Michael wanted off too because I was too busy yelling at the operator to stop."

Olivia Newton-John Was Nervous About Sandy's Makeover

Sandy's big hair, red lips, and black outfit are the opposite of her dress and ponytail. Newton-John once told Vanity Fair that she wasn't confident about the new look.

"That was such a stretch, and something I was really worried about," she said. "But when it happened, it was just this amazing feeling. It was very freeing. Not just for Sandy, but for me as well."

The new look went against the type the actress was typically cast in for roles. "Because I was always the girl next door," she continued. "And then I got into that trailer with those guys and they put me into that outfit and the hair and I walked out to show Randal [Kleiser], and the whole crew turned around. And the look on their faces! I remember thinking, Oh my—I’ve been doing this all wrong."

The final song, "You're the One That I Want," was written later in the film-making process. Newton-John said John Farrar spent the night writing it before he played it for her in six in the morning. The duet reached No. 1 after 11 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This knocked Johnny Mathis and Deniece Williams’ "Too Much, Too Little, Too Late" out of the top spot.

Farrar also wrote Sandy's emotional ballad, "Hopelessly Devoted to You." The original song was the only Academy Award nomination the musical received.

The movie did show clips of the movie's characters enjoying the carnival. The actors having fun might also be why the final number is so memorable.

1983 Rock Song, Only No. 1 Hit for Beloved Rock Band, Remains a Classic 43 Years Later

Sun, 06/21/2026 - 4:55pm

More than four decades after its release, "Owner of a Lonely Heart" by Yes continues to stand as one of the most recognizable rock songs of the 1980s. The track not only became the band's biggest commercial success but also remains the only song in Yes' long career to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Released on Oct. 24, 1983, as the lead single from the band's album 90125, "Owner of a Lonely Heart" marked a major turning point for the legendary British progressive rock group.

While Yes had already built a strong reputation through acclaimed albums and songs such as "Roundabout," the band had never reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 until this single arrived.

According to Billboard chart records, "Owner of a Lonely Heart" debuted on the Hot 100 on Nov. 5, 1983, eventually climbing to No. 1, where it remained for two weeks. The song spent a total of 23 weeks on the chart, making it the most successful single in the band's history.

Tony Kaye, Bill Bruford, Chris Squire, Jon Anderson, and Peter Banks posed for a group shot.

The achievement remains especially notable because it is still the only No. 1 hit of Yes' career in the United States.

Founded in London in 1968, Yes became one of the most influential progressive rock bands of all time. The group earned praise for ambitious albums, complex arrangements and musicianship that helped define progressive rock throughout the 1970s.

By the early 1980s, however, the band underwent major changes. Guitarist and songwriter Trevor Rabin joined forces with bassist Chris Squire and drummer Alan White, helping steer the group toward a more radio-friendly sound.

That shift led to 90125, the album that introduced "Owner of a Lonely Heart."

The song was written primarily by Trevor Rabin, with additional contributions from Jon Anderson, Chris Squire, and producer Trevor Horn. Originally developed from Rabin's solo demo recordings, the track evolved during studio sessions into a polished blend of rock, pop, electronic elements and innovative production techniques.

Trevor Horn later recognized the song's commercial potential and pushed for its inclusion on the album. His production choices helped shape what would become one of the defining rock singles of the decade.

The finished track featured a distinctive guitar riff, layered sound effects, electronic textures, and a memorable chorus that quickly connected with listeners.

Its success extended beyond the Billboard Hot 100. The song also reached No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and finished as the No. 8 song on the U.S. year-end chart for 1984.

Even 43 years after its release, "Owner of a Lonely Heart" continues to receive recognition among classic rock fans and music writers.

In March 2026, American Songwriter included the track in its feature "4 Classic Rock Songs From 1983 That Still Shake the Ground We Stand On." The publication described the song as "such a good electronic rock song with a progressive pop edge to it."

Part of the song's lasting appeal comes from its ability to bridge different musical styles. While rooted in rock, it also incorporates pop hooks, electronic sounds and production techniques that helped it stand apart from many of its contemporaries.

The music video also played a significant role in expanding the band's audience. Frequently aired on MTV during the 1980s, the video introduced a new generation of listeners to Yes and showcased a refreshed version of the group.

Over the years, "Owner of a Lonely Heart" has been covered, remixed, sampled, and referenced across popular culture. Its influence has stretched well beyond its original release period, helping the song remain relevant long after its chart run ended.

For a band known primarily for progressive rock masterpieces, "Owner of a Lonely Heart" became something unique: a crossover hit that connected with mainstream audiences while preserving the creativity that made Yes famous.

Today, as the song passes its 43rd year, it remains a defining moment in the band's history. While Yes produced dozens of charting songs and sold millions of albums worldwide, no other single matched the commercial heights achieved by "Owner of a Lonely Heart."

We Asked 4 Child Psychologists What Parenting Style Is Best—They All Said the Same Thing

Sun, 06/21/2026 - 4:49pm

Spend enough time on #MomTok (not that one, but mommy content) and other parenting spaces on social media, and you know that there are so many labels for parenting styles. And honestly, sometimes it seems like the one that's trending changes more often than you needed to change your newborn's diaper back in the day.

Dr. Caitlin Slavens, BAACS, MC, R Psych, a psychologist, knows it can get out of control.

"I think sometimes parents end up so worried about whether they’re doing the 'right' style of parenting that they stop trusting themselves or [stop] responding naturally to their actual child," Dr. Slavens tells Parade.

Also, once upon a time—perhaps when your parents or grandparents were in the child-rearing trenches—there were only three (then later four) upbringing approaches.

"The original parenting styles stem from 1960s research, which identified three primary styles: authoritative, authoritarian and permissive parenting," states Dr. Holly Schiff, Psy.D., a licensed clinical psychologist. "Researchers later added a fourth style: neglectful/uninvolved parenting. These styles are generally defined by two main factors: warmth/responsiveness and structure/expectations."

These approaches can provide guidance, but they aren't "rules." You can still be a good parent without checking every parenting style box.

"Most parents aren't one parenting style all the time, anyway," Dr. Slavens says. "I think it’s more helpful to focus on raising kids in a way that helps them feel loved, safe and secure, while at the same time, also remembering that different kids need different things."

That said, there's one general method that child psychologists agree tends to lead to the best outcomes for kids. Below, they share what parenting style is best, and their takes on some other popular strategies. Plus, which ones to avoid.

The Best Parenting Style for Kids, According to 4 Child Psychologists

"Authoritative parenting tends to produce some of the healthiest long-term outcomes for children," Dr. Schiff states.

Dr. Slavens says that authoritative parenting blends warmth and connection with parameters and boundaries—no, these things are not mutually exclusive.

"Children know their parents will be emotionally supportive, but they also know there are limits and expectations," she tells Parade.

Two other child psychologists echo their sentiments.

"Authoritative parenting is the sweet spot between too controlling and too hands-off," says Dr. Cameron Caswell, Ph.D., host of the podcast "Parenting Teens with Dr. Cam" and an adolescent psychologist. "You have fair and reasonable expectations for your child, and they trust and respect you enough to actually want to meet them."

She adds that kids raised in authoritative environments know where the line is, why it's there and that you'll stay steady, even if they push back. Another psychologist says this parenting method builds skills kids will need for a lifetime.

"This style helps children learn how to regulate emotions, tolerate frustration, make decisions and recover from mistakes," Dr. Amy Todey, Ph.D., a psychologist, adds. "It teaches children that failure is survivable, relationships can withstand conflict, and discipline is ultimately about teaching rather than punishment."

What Is an Example of Authoritative Parenting?

Authoritative parenting works with kids and teens of all ages who benefit from connection, warmth and boundaries.

For example, a child may become angry when it's time to turn off their iPad and start crying.

"An authoritative parent might say something like, 'I know you’re frustrated. You were having fun, but screens are done for tonight,'" Dr. Slavens explains. "The parent isn’t shaming the child for being upset, but they also aren’t changing the boundary because the child is upset."

Dr. Caswell says your teen may want to go to a party without adult supervision. An authoritarian parent would shut it down ASAP without discussion, and a permissive parent will say yes and hope for the best. On the other hand:

"An authoritative parent says something like, 'I hear you, and I get why you want to go. I'm not comfortable with no supervision, and here's why. Let's figure out something that actually works,'" the psychologist shares. "The teen doesn't always get exactly what they want, but they feel heard, they understand your reasoning and the conversation doesn't end in a slammed door."

6 Other Parenting Styles That Can Be Beneficial 1. Gentle parenting

Dr. Slavens thinks gentle parenting gets misunderstood online.

"Gentle parenting is quite basic, being emotionally regulated and connected to your child, while still holding boundaries," she states. "The goal is to help kids learn how to regulate their emotions by being a strong, steady presence for them, despite whatever emotions the kids may be feeling."

2. Hybrid parenting

Dr. Slavens notes that many parents naturally end up parenting this way without labeling it.

"Hybrid parenting is taking pieces from different parenting approaches depending on the child, situation and stage of development," she explains. "For example, a parent may be very collaborative and flexible in some situations but more structured and firm in others."

She loves how reflective this approach is of real life, where parenting is rarely one-size-fits-all.

3. Lighthouse parenting

Dr. Todey explains that lighthouse parenting involves acting as a steady guide. Lighthouse parents aren't controlling every move, but they don't disappear completely.

"The parent serves as a stable emotional base while allowing children increasing independence as they mature," she states. "This approach is beneficial because it balances safety with autonomy. Children know support is available, but they are also trusted to navigate challenges, make decisions and build competence."

4. Beta parenting

Dr. Schiff says beta parenting is flexible and anti-perfectionist.

"It prioritizes child-led learning and independence instead of hovering," she states. "Routines do exist, but Beta parents pivot to accommodate the needs and joy of the moment, rather than rigid control and schedules."

5. Free-range parenting

Dr. Slavens describes free-range parenting as "more independence, responsibility and opportunities to figure things out on their own."

"This may look like letting kids walk to a friend’s house, solving peer conflicts independently or taking age-appropriate risks without adults stepping in immediately," she explains.

Related: Parents and Grandparents Who Raise Independent Kids Often Do These 6 Things, According to a Child Psychologist

6. Responsive parenting

"Responsive parenting is about reading what your teen actually needs in a moment and responding to that, instead of reacting to the surface behavior," Dr. Caswell explains.

She shares that this parenting style models stronger emotional regulation, so children and teens raised this way tend to develop these skills.

Related: 7 Phrases a Child Psychologist Is Begging Parents of ‘Challenging’ Kids To Stop Saying

6 Parenting Styles To Avoid1. Helicopter

Dr. Todey explains that helicopter parents are "overly involved in managing a child’s experiences, emotions, relationships or problems." They're quick to step in to prevent discomfort, failure or frustration. It's often done with love.

"While the intention is usually love and protection, over-involvement can unintentionally communicate to children that they are incapable of handling challenges on their own," she says. "Children build confidence through competence, and competence develops through failure, practice, struggle and recovery."

2. Snowplow parenting

Like a snowplow in a storm, Dr. Slavens says this parenting style involves removing obstacles in a child's path before they can counter them. Snowplow parents might fix friendship conflicts or prevent kids from dealing with natural consequences.

"Over time, some children start doubting their own ability to handle hard things because adults are always clearing the path for them," she states.

3. Authoritarian parenting

High on rules and low on warmth, Dr. Caswell notes that authoritarian parenting aims for obedience. Questioning the rules is a no-go.

"Teens raised this way often comply on the outside while quietly resenting it on the inside, and when they finally get out from under the rules, they have no internal compass to replace them with," she shares.

4. Tiger parenting

"Tiger parenting pushes hard for achievement, often at the expense of everything else," Dr. Caswell states.

She shares that the intention is often to do what is best for a child.

"But when performance becomes the primary way a teen feels valued, they learn to tie their worth to their results," she says. "That's a fragile foundation, and it tends to crack under pressure."

5. Permissive parenting

Permissive parenting is warm, but Dr. Todey says it lacks structure and accountability.

"Parents may avoid setting limits, struggle with consistency or prioritize keeping children happy over maintaining boundaries," she explains. "Children generally need more than emotional warmth alone—they also need guidance, structure and limits to feel secure and develop self-regulation."

She notes that children can struggle with frustration tolerance, responsibility and understanding appropriate expectations in relationships without boundaries from an early age.

6. Neglectful parenting

"Neglectful parenting is not giving your child attention, making yourself available or showing interest in your child," Dr. Caswell says.

Children raised by people using neglectful parenting learn to stop expecting support and to figure things out on their own.

"This makes them more vulnerable to seeking connection, validation and belonging anywhere they can find it, which isn't always somewhere safe," she points out.

Final Takeaways

There are so many labels for "parenting styles" these days: Beta, gentle, helicopter, etc. It can get confusing, and experts say that most parents don't fit one mold. However, they agree that some styles have more benefits than others. Here's what to keep in mind.

  • There are three original parenting styles. Authoritative, authoritarian and permissive parenting were introduced in the 1960s. Neglectful parenting came later.
  • Child psychologists believe authoritative parenting is the most beneficial parenting style. It blends warmth with boundaries. Think saying to a child who is upset that their iPad time is done, "I understand why you're upset—you love that show! But we're still shutting off screens for the night."
  • Certain parenting styles are best avoided. Helicopter and snowplow parenting control too much, often removing friction (and the chance to learn how to manage it) from a child's life. Authoritarian parenting seeks obedience but can breed resentment, while permissive parenting doesn't provide kids with the boundaries they need to stay safe.

I Finally Ordered Pipcorn From ‘Shark Tank’—Here’s My Honest Review

Sun, 06/21/2026 - 4:22pm

If you're a longtime fan of Shark Tank, you've probably noticed that some products seem to explode overnight after appearing on the show. A single episode can turn a small startup into a nationally recognized brand, sending thousands of customers to their websites within hours.

Over the years, viewers have watched companies from Scrub Daddy and Bombas to Tipsy Elves become household names after landing deals with the Sharks. The combination of national exposure and investment from successful entrepreneurs often gives these businesses a massive boost.

😋😋 SIGN UP to get delicious recipes, handy kitchen hacks & more in our daily Pop Kitchen newsletter 🍳🍔

However, not every company that appears on Shark Tank enjoys long-term success. Some businesses struggle to keep up with demand, while others fail to secure retail partnerships or run into operational challenges after the cameras stop rolling. Even companies that receive offers on the show don't always complete their deals after filming. As a result, many once-promising products eventually fade from the spotlight.

That's what makes Pipcorn such an interesting success story. More than a decade after its appearance on Shark Tank, the brand is still thriving and has expanded well beyond its original mini popcorn concept.

Curious to see whether the hype was justified, I finally placed an order and tried some of Pipcorn's most popular snacks. Here's what I learned about the company and why it continues to stand out in a crowded snack market.

What Is Special About Pipcorn? View this post on Instagram

Pipcorn was founded by siblings Jennifer and Jeff Martin after they discovered a unique variety of heirloom corn that pops into smaller, crunchier kernels than traditional popcorn. The company built its reputation around using heirloom corn sourced from family farms rather than the large-scale hybrid corn commonly used in snack foods.

According to the company, its products are made with simple ingredients, non-GMO corn and avocado oil, creating a snack that feels a little less processed than many of its competitors.

Pipcorn's mini popcorn's major selling point is the texture. The kernels are noticeably smaller than standard popcorn, which they claim means fewer hard hulls getting stuck in your teeth. The popcorn is said to have a light, crisp crunch that makes it easy to reach for another handful.

The company focuses on letting the natural flavor of the heirloom corn shine through instead of masking it with excessive seasoning. That simplicity is part of the brand's appeal and helps distinguish it from many heavily flavored snack competitors.

What Happened to Pipcorn After 'Shark Tank'? View this post on Instagram

Pipcorn appeared on Shark Tank in 2015, where Jennifer and Jeff Martin sought a $200,000 investment in exchange for 10 percent of their company. After negotiations with several Sharks, they ultimately accepted an offer from Barbara Corcoran.

The exposure from the show had an immediate impact. Reports indicate that Pipcorn received thousands of orders shortly after the episode aired, dramatically increasing demand for the product. The company expanded its operations, grew its retail presence and eventually broadened its product lineup beyond popcorn.

Today, the business operates under the name Pip's Heirloom Snacks and continues to sell a variety of corn-based snack products. The company remains one of the more successful food brands to emerge from Shark Tank, proving that the initial excitement around the product wasn't just a short-lived television moment.

While the original mini popcorn remains the company's signature product, Pipcorn has expanded considerably over the years.

Its current offerings include:

  • Mini Popcorn Kernels
  • Mini Popcorn (Sea Salt and Truffle)
  • Kettle Popcorn
  • Mini Popcorn Variety Packs
  • Cheese Balls (Real Cheddar and White Cheddar)
  • Cheddar Crunchies
  • Fries (Real Cheddar, Truffle and Fiery Cheddar)
  • Corn Dippers (Sea Salt, Chili Cheese and Lime)
  • Cinnamon Churro Twists

They also recently partnered with Cleveland Kitchen to bring limited-edition Pickle Balls and Kimchi Balls to the table.

The variety is impressive and gives customers several ways to try the brand beyond mini popcorn. If you're ordering for the first time, the sampler pack is probably the easiest way to experience multiple products before committing to larger quantities.

I Tried Pipcorn—Here's My Honest Review View this post on Instagram

For my first Pipcorn order, I decided to go all-in and try the variety pack. It included Mini Popcorn in Sea Salt and Truffle flavors, Cheese Balls in Real Cheddar and White Cheddar varieties, Cheddar Crunchies, Fries in Truffle and Fiery Cheddar, Corn Dippers in Sea Salt, Cinnamon Churro Twists, and a container of Pipcorn's Mini Popcorn Kernels for popping at home. Here's what I thought of each Pipcorn product.

Mini Popcorn Kernels

One of my favorite surprises was the container of mini popcorn kernels. I popped it on the stove using avocado oil and a little sea salt, and the results were magical. The homemade version tasted remarkably similar to the bagged Sea Salt Mini Popcorn, just a little fresher.

It was light, crunchy and packed with corn flavor. As an avid popcorn consumer, I can honestly say this variety will definitely become a regular family movie night treat in our house.

Mini Popcorn (Sea Salt and Truffle)

The Mini Popcorn lived up to the hype. The smaller kernels create a uniquely crunchy texture while allowing the natural corn flavor to shine through much more than traditional popcorn. I also appreciated the lack of thick, sharp hulls that can cut your gums or get stuck in your teeth.

Both flavors were well-seasoned without being overly salty, though the sea salt variety was my personal favorite because it let the heirloom corn flavor take center stage.

Cheese Balls (Real Cheddar and White Cheddar)

Courtesy Julie Andrews

I enjoyed both cheese ball flavors, but the white cheddar was the clear winner for me. It delivered that classic white cheddar flavor that snack lovers know and crave, while maintaining an incredibly crunchy texture.

The real cheddar version was also tasty, and the cheese seasoning reminded me a lot of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese powder in the best possible way. Still, the white cheddar flavor felt more balanced and memorable overall.

Cheddar Crunchies

Courtesy Julie Andrews

This was the one product that didn't quite win me over. While the crunchies were certainly crisp and crunchy, I found them a little too dense in texture. The cheddar seasoning also tasted different from the cheddar used on the cheese balls, which was disappointing because I preferred the flavor profile of the cheese balls. They weren't bad, but they were easily my least favorite item in the variety pack, and not a substitute for original Cheetos.

Fries (Fiery Cheddar and Truffle)

Courtesy Julie Andrews

The fries had a light, airy crunch that really won me over. The Fiery Cheddar variety packed some serious heat and reminded me of Hot Cheetos, but with a cleaner ingredient list and less greasy finish.

The truffle flavor, meanwhile, delivered exactly what it promised: lots of truffle flavor. Unfortunately, I tend to find strong truffle flavor overpowering, and that was the case here. However, if you're someone who loves truffle-forward snacks, this could easily become a favorite.

Corn Dippers (Sea Salt)

Courtesy Julie Andrews

The Sea Salt Corn Dippers were my absolute favorite snack from the entire order. As someone who has loved Fritos for years, these immediately checked every box for me. They had the perfect balance of corn flavor, crunch and saltiness, while somehow tasting cleaner, less greasy and more corn-forward than traditional corn chips.

In fact, I had a hard time putting the bag down once I opened it. These have officially become my new go-to corn chip, and now I'm eager to try the Chili Cheese and Lime versions.

Cinnamon Churro Twists

Pip Snacks

Coming in at a very close second place were the Cinnamon Churro Twists. These were unbelievably light, airy and crunchy. They reminded me of Taco Bell's iconic Cinnamon Twists, but without the oily aftertaste.

If I had one tiny critique, it would be that I wouldn't mind a little more cinnamon sugar coating. That said, they're delicious exactly as they are and were one of the most addictive snacks in the box.

Overall Thoughts View this post on Instagram

After trying Pipcorn for the first time, I can see why the company has maintained a loyal following long after its appearance on Shark Tank. I appreciate the brand's commitment to sustainability, heirloom corn and partnerships with small family farms. The clean ingredient lists and use of avocado oil are also major selling points for me.

Most importantly, nearly every snack delivered an impressive texture—light, airy, crisp and satisfying—with a wholesome corn flavor that feels distinct from anything else in the snack aisle. While not every product was a personal favorite, several of them, especially the Corn Dippers and Cinnamon Churro Twists, have earned a permanent spot on my snack shopping list.

I can confidently say I'll be ordering from Pipcorn again and look forward to trying some of the brand's seasonal and limited-edition releases in the future. (I'm looking at you, Dill Pickle Balls and Kimchi Balls.)

How to Order Pipcorn View this post on Instagram

The easiest place to buy Pipcorn products is directly from the company's official website, where you'll find its complete selection of snacks, bundles and seasonal offerings.

You can also use the company's store locator to find retailers that carry Pip's Heirloom Snacks in your area. Many grocery stores, like Whole Foods and Sprouts, specialty food shops like Thrive Market, and national retailers stock at least some of the brand's products.

After finally trying Pipcorn for myself, I can understand why it became one of the standout snack brands from Shark Tank. The heirloom corn gives the products a distinctive texture, the ingredients are refreshingly simple and the company has successfully expanded its lineup without losing the qualities that made the original popcorn popular.

While not every Shark Tank product lives up to the hype, Pipcorn appears to be one of the success stories that has earned its staying power.

Schwarzenegger is an Advocate for 'People Power"

Last year, Schwarzenegger shared a touching statement following the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

In an appearance at the Schwarzenegger Institute at the University of Southern California, the icon spoke candidly when asked by USC President Beong-Soo Kim about his reaction to the news of Kirk’s death, and the systems he feels are responsible for contributing to the tragedy.

Schwarzenegger noted that he hopes America can turn things around by harnessing its “people power.”

“The people can turn this around. The people have the ultimate power. People always say, ‘Well, what can I do? I’m just an individual,’ but each and every one of you in here can make a difference. You can show leadership,” he said, encouraging students from different parties to communicate and solve problems together. “How you don’t see the other side as the enemy, or to fight fire with fire, like they’re saying today, or to declare war on each other, as they’re saying today. You can show leadership, and you can get together and be this example. Because remember, the people’s power is the ultimate power. That’s what democracy is all about.”

There Are 3 Groundbreaking Alzheimer’s Treatments on the Horizon—a Neurologist Explains How They Work

Sun, 06/21/2026 - 3:25pm

Alzheimer’s disease is one of the biggest health threats of our time. According to the Alzheimer’s Association, an estimated 7.4 million Americans 65 and older are currently living with Alzheimer’s disease. Of the total U.S. population, one in nine people over age 65 has Alzheimer’s.

Currently, there is no cure for Alzheimer’s, but there are treatments that extend cognitive health and delay symptoms from progressing as quickly. Dr. Rudy Tanzi, PhD, a neurology professor at Harvard, director of the Genetics and Aging Research Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital and who is credited for discovering the first Alzheimer’s gene, explains that there are two prominent drugs currently being used for managing Alzheimer’s: Leqembi and Kisunla.

Dr. Tanzi explains that these drugs work by targeting and clearing amyloid plaques in the brain, which are a hallmark of the disease. They are given through IV infusions and have been shown to moderately slow cognitive decline in people with early-stage Alzheimer’s.

Related: 14 Specific Ways You May Be Able to Prevent Dementia, According to Neurologists

Dr. Tanzi notes that one major downside of these drugs is that they are very expensive, costing between $26,500 and $32,000 a year. “Part of the reason why they are so expensive is that people taking them must get brain scans every one or two months to make sure there is no swelling happening in the brain,” he explains.

Soon, these two expensive drugs may not be the only way Alzheimer’s is treated. There are a few groundbreaking new medical treatments that may soon become widely available, including one that Dr. Tanzi is helping develop.

Parade is committed to providing you with the latest research about Alzheimer’s. Keep reading to learn more about the groundbreaking new treatments on the horizon.

3 Alzheimer’s Treatments That May Soon Become Widely Available1. A preventive treatment that stops Alzheimer’s from ever developing

Wouldn’t it be great if there was a drug for Alzheimer’s that worked similarly to how statins work for lowering the risk of heart disease, halting the disease at the earliest warning bells before it progresses? This is exactly what Dr. Tanzi and his team of researchers have been working on for years.

Forty years ago, Dr. Tanzi discovered the first Alzheimer’s gene, the amyloid precursor protein, or APP for short. APP is a normal protein in the brain that everyone has, but inheriting a mutation of this gene is associated with a high likelihood of developing Alzheimer’s.

Related: What You Should Stop Doing By Age 65 to Prevent Alzheimer's, According to Neurologists

Now, Dr. Tanzi is helping develop a drug called gamma-secretase modulator, which works by shifting amyloid-beta production toward shorter peptides. This is important because longer peptides are more prone to aggregation and plaque formation, while shorter peptides are less likely to clump. These modulators change where gamma-secretase cleaves the amyloid precursor protein (APP), shifting production away from longer amyloid-beta forms toward shorter ones.

The logic, Dr. Tanzi explains, is that if someone has mutations of the APP gene (and therefore very likely to get Alzheimer’s), they can take a gamma-secretase modulator to stop the disease from progressing before it even starts.

Similarly, Dr. Tanzi notes that there is a blood test that can identify if someone has plaques and tau tangles in their brain (both associated with Alzheimer’s). “In a perfect world, everyone over 50 would get this blood test, and if they find out that a pathology for Alzheimer’s is brewing—because the pathology for Alzheimer’s forms an average of 22 years before symptoms—they can receive the drug as a preventative treatment,” Dr. Tanzi says.

Wondering when the drug will become available? “We got our go-ahead from the Food and Drug Administration in February and are starting trials now,” Dr. Tanzi says, adding that other pharmaceutical companies are also working on making similar drugs. With hope, it will become available within the next few years.

2. A device that improves blood flow to the brain

Another breakthrough Alzheimer’s treatment is external counterpulsation. Earlier this month, a study published in the American Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease & Other Dementias, showed that external counterpulsation significantly improved cognition in people with early-stage Alzheimer’s disease.

Dr. Arman Fesharaki-Zabeh, MD, PhD, an assistant professor of psychiatry and neurology at Yale School of Medicine, explains that external counterpulsation works by wearing a device that improves blood flow, oxygenation and vascular health in the brain. This is important because impaired vascular function is the second-most common cause of dementia, according to scientific research.

Last year, Cerezen, an external counterpulsation device, received CE certification under the European Union’s Medical Device Regulation, making it the first and only device certified under the new EU framework for Alzheimer’s. This new study continues to show its efficacy.

While promising, Dr. Fesharazki-Zabeh says that larger-scale studies on external counterpulsation need to be done to prove it really works. That is the only way it can move toward FDA clearance and become available.

3. Trontinemab, the newest amyloid-targeted therapy

As previously explained, current treatment for Alzheimer’s involves drugs that target and clear amyloid plaques in the brain. A major risk associated with taking Leqembi or Kisunla (the two primary amyloid-targeted therapy drugs for Alzheimer’s) is brain swelling. As Dr. Tanzi explained, that’s why people taking them need to get brain scans every one or two months.

Preliminary clinical trials on a new drug, trontinemab, show it may work just as well as existing drugs, but can be taken at a lower dose, which decreases this risk. Dr. Fesharazki-Zabeh says that trontinemab just moved into Phase 3, which is the final stage before FDA approval. But this stage can take more than two years, so it will still be several years before this treatment could become available.

As you can see, there are several exciting strides being made in Alzheimer’s prevention and treatment. But Dr. Tanzi and Dr. Fesharazki-Zabeh emphasize that there is a lot everyone can do to lower their risk—without expensive drugs.

Dr. Fesharazki-Zabeh points to 14 modifiable risk factors that can prevent or delay nearly half of all dementia cases. Some of these recommendations include treating hearing loss, managing high cholesterol, not smoking, being physically active, treating depression, minimizing alcohol, maintaining social relationships and treating vision loss. “Prevention is by far more effective than any treatment for Alzheimer’s,” Dr. Fesharazki-Zabeh says.

With this in mind, focus on what you can do to lower your risk. In the meantime, researchers will continue to be hard at work developing the latest treatments.

Kris Jenner Pens Sweet Father's Day Tribute—and Her Message to Rob Kardashian Stands Out

Sun, 06/21/2026 - 3:10pm

After recently revealing that her children are her "purpose on Earth," Kris Jenner, the ultimate momager, celebrated Father's Day with a sweet tribute to the dads in her family, sharing touching photos and a particularly heartfelt message to son Rob Kardashian.

The Kardashian-Jenner matriarch posted a carousel of photos featuring several familiar faces from the family, including Travis Scott, Tristan Thompson, Scott Disick, Kanye West, Travis Barker and Caitlyn Jenner. But it was her message to Rob that stood out among the sweet sentiments.

Kris Jenner Celebrated the Fathers Who Mean the Most to Her View this post on Instagram

Alongside the collection of family moments, Jenner thanked the fathers in her life for their "love, strength, guidance, support, and for always showing up for the people who love you most."

The post featured several snapshots of dads spending time with their children, highlighting the close-knit nature of the Kardashian-Jenner family. One image showed Travis Scott with daughter Stormi, while others included Tristan Thompson, Travis Barker and Scott Disick with their kids.

Jenner has long embraced her role as the family's matriarch, frequently celebrating major milestones and special occasions involving her children and grandchildren.

The Father's Day tribute also reflected the family's emphasis on co-parenting and maintaining strong family bonds, even among former couples and blended relationships.

Her Loving Words for Rob Kardashian Drew Special Attention

While Jenner's post honored many fathers, she reserved a special message for her only son.

"To my son, Rob. The love, patience and devotion you give Dream every day makes me so proud," she wrote. "She is so lucky to have you, and I am so lucky to call you my son."

Rob, who largely stepped away from the spotlight in recent years, has focused much of his attention on raising daughter Dream, whom he shares with ex Blac Chyna. Those close to the family have frequently described him as a devoted and hands-on father.

Jenner concluded her message by wishing all fathers "a beautiful day filled with so much love from the people who mean the most to you," punctuating the tribute with a heart emoji.

For fans, though, it was her loving words about Rob and Dream that provided one of the sweetest moments in the family celebration.

First-Of-Its-Kind 1988 Film Celebrated for Its 'Cinematic Achievement' on 38th Anniversary

Sun, 06/21/2026 - 3:03pm

On June 22, 1988, Who Framed Roger Rabbit was released. The film was a first-of-its-kind mashup of live-action footage and hand-drawn animation that interacted as though they lived in the same world, and fans are still in awe of its creativity and uniqueness today.

"As bad CGI and AI slop continue to infect the industry, this movie just continues to age like a fine wine," said one commenter on a reddit thread celebrating the beloved movie's 38th anniversary. Another agreed, writing, "I LOVE this movie and the special effects really hold up to this day."

Others celebrated the actors who brought both the human and animated characters to life, with one saying, "Bob Hoskins kills it as Eddie, Christopher Lloyd is horrifying as Judge Doom, and the animated cast is flawless. 10/10 no notes." Another added that Hoskins gave "one of the greatest performances of all time," while a third insisted he should have "been nominated for an Oscar" for it.

The noir-style film is set in 1947 Los Angeles, where humans and cartoon characters, known as “Toons,” coexist. The story follows tough private detective Eddie Valiant, played by Hoskins, as he investigates a scandal involving the Roger Rabbit, voiced by Charles Fleischer, and his glamorous wife Jessica Rabbit, voiced by Kathleen Turner. Lloyd expertly portrays the sinister Judge Doom, whose evil plans threaten the entire Toon community.

The comedy was directed by Robert Zemeckis and featured appearances from famous Disney and Warner Bros. characters that had never been brought together on screen before, like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Betty Boop, and many more.

Princess Diana Attended the Premiere

Upon its release, Who Framed Roger Rabbit was an immediate sensation, and was credited with helping spark Disney's animation renaissance. Princess Diana even attended the film's U.K. charity premiere, meeting Roger Rabbit and Hoskins at the event.

The PG-rated comedy grossed more than $351 million worldwide, making it the highest-grossing live-action/animated hybrid film ever, and received seven Academy Award nominations. It won Oscars for Film Editing, Sound Effects Editing, and Visual Effects, while animation director Richard Williams received a Special Achievement Academy Award for his work.

Today, the movie had a whopping 96% critic-rated Tomatometer score on Rotten Tomatoes, and an 85% fan-rated Popcornmeter score with more than a quarter-million ratings. Legendary film critic Roger Ebert described it as "not only great entertainment but a breakthrough in craftsmanship," likening it to great films like 2001, Close Encounters, and E.T.

‘Modern Family’ Actor Opens up About How Fatherhood ‘Broke’ His Heart Open

Sun, 06/21/2026 - 2:54pm

Modern Family actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson has opened up about the many ways fatherhood has changed his life.

The 50-year-old actor spoke to People exclusively at the 79th Annual Tony Awards on June 7 about his sons, Beckett Mercer, in July 2020, and Sullivan "Sully" Louis, in November 2022.

“Fatherhood broke my heart open in ways that I didn't expect,” the actor told the outlet. “And I just love my kids so much. I love being able to take them to the theater, share things with them that I love.”

Jesse is currently appearing in Jesus Christ Superstar in London as King Herod. He posted a photo on opening night of him with his two sons on the stage of the London Palladium.

Ferguson's family have previously stepped out to support their dad on stage. They were there to cheer him on when he appeared in the 2025 Shakespeare in the Park production of Twelfth Night, in which he starred as Sir Andrew Aguecheek.

The actor has been married to lawyer and producer Justin Mikita for 13 years. The pair met at the gym when Mikita was still a law student and Modern Family had just started.

When his son Beckett was born in 2020, he told People that he had always wanted to be a dad. "My husband's 10 years younger than me, so I sort of was waiting for his timeline to catch up with mine," Ferguson explained. "I think I would have done this 10 years ago, but whatever, it's fine. Better late than never."

He admitted that his beloved Modern Family character, Mitchell Pritchett, helped ease him into becoming a dad in real life. Ferguson has thanked his on-set relationship with Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, who played his on-screen daughter Lily, for teaching him to understand children.

"But there's a lot of downtime on set. For me, it was about having conversations and communicating with kids in a way that wasn't patronising, but also getting to know kids as people," he told Parents.

"It taught me a lot about meeting her where she was at...communicating with them through questions and just being open to their questions," he added

The 4 Birth Months Most Likely to Be the Favorite Aunt, Per Experts

Sun, 06/21/2026 - 2:38pm

Aunts play such a special role within a family. They can offer guidance without judgment, provide support during life’s biggest moments, and create memories that nieces and nephews carry with them for years to come. Whether serving as a trusted confidante, a source of encouragement, a family storyteller, or simply the relative who always knows how to make someone smile, great aunts have a beautiful ability to make younger family members feel loved, valued, and understood.

While wonderful aunts can be born in any month, astrology shows that certain birth months have qualities written in the stars for the role. From nurturing support and unwavering encouragement to wisdom, humor, and a talent for helping others grow, these four birth months make especially adored aunts.

Which Birth Months Make the Favorite Aunts?

Check for your birth month.

January - The Cool Aunt

People born in January make wonderful aunts because they provide dependable support and serve as dependable mentors and guides. Capricorns are so practical and responsible by nature; they lead by example and generously share the wisdom they have gained so others don’t have to make the same mistakes they did. (But if you do happen to make a mistake, you won’t be judged here!) Aquarians are always thinking ahead and enjoy encouraging younger generations to think for themselves, embrace their individuality, and see the world from a new perspective. Both signs know how to offer advice without being overly controlling and support without being overly critical. January-born individuals are the “cool aunts”, providing the perfect mix of reliable stability and unconventional wisdom by inspiring independence in their nieces and nephews.

June - The Playful Companion

People born in June make wonderful aunts because they are young at heart, yet emotionally dependable companions. Geminis have a youthful spirit; they are playful, spontaneous, fun-loving, and curious, which makes them easily relatable to younger family members. They also love to ask questions and share knowledge, making them great at encouraging a child's interests, hobbies, and education. If someone is shy, a Gemini will easily get them out of their shell and chatting! Cancers have such a nurturing nature that their home becomes a secondary safe haven where their nieces and nephews feel comfortable and loved. Whether providing freshly baked cookies, warm hugs, or simply a nonjudgmental space to be heard, Cancers know how to offer what others need to feel cared for and secure. June-born individuals have a special way of making their nieces and nephews feel both celebrated for who they are and supported as they grow.

CUTE!: These 4 Birth Months Have a Special Connection With Kids

August - The Family Cheerleader

People born in August make wonderful aunts because they have a gift for helping their nieces and nephews recognize their own potential. Leos are generous and encouraging, and they love celebrating the accomplishments of the people they love. Whether in the audience or on the sidelines, they show up loudly and enthusiastically as their loved ones’ biggest front-row supporters. Virgos show their encouragement in more hands-on, behind-the-scenes ways via practical guidance, thoughtful advice, and a sincere desire to help others reach their potential. They are the ones helping with homework, teaching valuable life skills, or offering encouragement when challenges arise. August-born individuals want their nieces and nephews to feel capable, supported, and  believed in.

RELATE?: Which Maya Angelou Poem Mirrors Your Soul, Based on Your Birth Month

November - The Confidante

People born in November make wonderful aunts because they foster relationships in which nieces and nephews feel comfortable being their true selves. Scorpios are fiercely loyal and perceptive, sensing what others are feeling before a word is even spoken. Because of this, they have a gift for making their loved ones feel seen, understood, and accepted in whatever state they might be in. Sagittarians are warm, funny, and adventurous, making them instantly comfortable and easy to be around. Being free-spirited and confident in their own skin encourages their nieces and nephews to do the same. Both signs encourage a sense of freedom through asking questions, sharing secrets, and offering sound advice. Serena Williams to Make Singles Comeback at Wimbledon

Sun, 06/21/2026 - 2:23pm

Serena Williams is making a singles comeback!

On Sunday, June 21, Wimbledon announced the tennis legend will compete in singles in the 2026 tournament after receiving a wild card entry.

Williams last played singles professionally at the 2022 U.S. Open, where she won two rounds before losing in the third round to Ajla Tomljanovic.

The 23-time Grand Slam champion began her comeback earlier this month with doubles appearances on grass, earning a wild card entry into the Wimbledon doubles draw alongside her sisterVenus. Now, she's shifting back to the version of the game where she has historically been most dominant: singles.

Speculation Williams was returning to professional tennis began in December 2025 when fans noticed the tennis legend had re-entered the list of players registered for the drug testing pool by the International Tennis Integrity Agency.

However, Williams denied the rumors shortly after they began, writing on X, “Omg yall I’m NOT coming back. This wildfire is crazy.”

The very next day, Serena applied for official retirement with the International Tennis Integrity Agency, meaning that she would no longer have to comply with random drug testing.

Shortly before her first retirement, Williams wrote an essay in Vogue about her decision to step away from tennis ahead of the 2022 U.S. Open. She purposely avoided using the word “retirement,” instead calling it an “evolution” away from the sport.

“I’m here to tell you that I’m evolving away from tennis, toward other things that are important to me,” Williams wrote at the time. “A few years ago I quietly started Serena Ventures, a venture capital firm. Soon after that, I started a family. I want to grow that family.”

William married Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian in 2017, and the two share daughters Olympia, 8, and Adira, 2.

Wimbledon 2026 will run from June 29 to July 12, with the qualifying rounds taking place between June 22 - 25.

1964 Hit That Helped Invent Hard Rock Became a Timeless Power Anthem

Sun, 06/21/2026 - 2:22pm

The Kinks are often called the underdogs of the British Invasion. Sharing airwaves and aesthetics with giants like The Beatles and The Rolling Stones in the 1960s, it’s easy to see why. But one listen to “All Day and All of the Night,” and it’s even easier to see how the English rockers helped invent hard rock.

Released in September 1964 as a standalone single and later featured on their second studio album, Kinks-Size (1965), the track is widely regarded by critics and musicians as a precursor to punk, metal, and hard rock. And now, more than five decades later, it remains a timeless power anthem and one of the greatest classic rock songs of all time.

“The one that started it was ‘All Day and All of the Night,’” Ray Davies, lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and primary songwriter for The Kinks, explained to Classic Rock. “The sounds on that one, if they were made today, would sound like Green Day or a metal band.”

The Kinks’ 1964 follow-up to their smash hit “You Really Go Me” broke the mold of typical pop through its use of driving chords, aggressive riffs, and visceral rebellious energy. Complete with direct, mildly sexual lyrics delivered with Davies’ gritty vocals, the song brought a new level of intensity to rock music that can still be heard in the generations of punk, hard rock, and metal bands that followed.

That signature sound actually has an interesting backstory. According to Far Out magazine, in the early ’60s, Davies' personal life had reached a tipping point, so he took out his rage on an amplifier with a razor blade.

“I had a little green amplifier, an Elpico, that was sounding crap,” he said. “I thought, I’ll teach it -- and slashed the speaker cone. It changed the sound of my guitar. Then, when I wired that amp up to another Vox AC30, it made it a lot, lot louder.”

The raw proto-punk roar he created with that damaged speaker became the track’s signature sound, and went on to inspire band after band, from Black Sabbath to Metallica, The Who to The Clash. In 2009, during the 25th anniversary celebration of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Metallica’sJames Hetfield even credited The Kinks as the band that started it all.

“We got completely schooled on early riff-rock by this man and his band – The Kinks,” Hetfield said of Davies.

According to Classic Rock, Ozzy Osbourne, Lou Reed, and more have publicly cited the song as the “jump-off point for punk and hard rock."

Peaking at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100, the track went all the way to No. 2 in the U.K. Still, the track’s legacy far outweighs its chart performance. Written in just a few days, the song was supposed to be another smash hit — a demand from producers to follow up the wildly successful "You Really Got Me."

“It’s more demanding. Maybe that was because we’d just come off a success with a number one single. So it was a bit cocky,” Davies said.

But it ended up being so much more. “All Day And All Of The Night" was a ferocious blast of rock’n’roll. It gave The Kinks their second major hit and cemented them in the U.S. as one of the key bands of the British Invasion,” Classic Rock wrote.

Heavily covered, most famously by the English rock band The Stranglers (who reached No. 7 in the U.K. with their 1987 cover), the track has even made its way into the hip-hop realm with 2 Live Crew sampling it for their 1988Miami bass hit, “One and One.”

For a band once overshadowed by TheFab Four and Mick Jagger, The Kinks sure left a massive footprint. And decades later, “All Day and All of the Night” still sounds loud, raw, and built for distortion.

We could listen to it all day, and, well, you know.

2010s Rock Band Announces New Music Amid Major World Tour

Sun, 06/21/2026 - 2:17pm

Beloved 2010s rockers I Prevail are teasing new music, revealing plans for a fresh single.

Speaking with Wall of Sound amid the Australian leg of the band's world tour, vocalist Eric Vanlerberghe announced that the Grammy Award-nominated musicians were gearing up to drop their latest single, "Paradise".

"It's got some singing. It's got some screaming. It's got some special... I don't wanna give too much away, but there's something cool we did with it, and I can't wait for people to hear it," he explained. "But, yeah, it's coming up quick, and I'm excited for people to see what we're cooking,"

When asked the question, Vanlerberghe said that the band decided not to include "Paradise" on their most recent album, 2025's Violent Nature, simply because it wasn't completed at the time of the release.

"Honestly, we wrote it after the record was done," he noted. "What's been great about this last few years is, in the past we would tour, tour, tour, and then go, 'Okay, we're gonna take some time off and work on a record,"

For the last few years, the band's bassist,  JonEberhard, has also served as a producer, meaning it was easier to work on new music on-the-go.

"So, as soon as 'Violent Nature' was out, we were already just keeping the muscle of creativity fresh and continuing writing," Vanlerberghe continued. "And we got stuff that I don't know if it'll ever come out, but it's just fun to create and write and keep that muscle flexing."

In May 2025, I Prevail parted ways with vocalist Brian Burkheiser, who handled all of the clean vocals for the band since their inception in 2013. Since Burkheiser's departure following a string of health struggles, Vanlerberghe has lead all of the singing.

I Prevail's breakout came in 2014 after they released a viral hardcore cover version of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space." On Oct. 21, 2026, the group unveiled their debut album, Lifelines, via Fearless Records.

After Australia, the band has tour stops across several cities in Europe before hitting the U.S. through the end of the year.
