At 85, Donna Mills has found a surprisingly lucrative new way to connect with her fans—and the eye-popping payday has the internet cheering her on.

The Knots Landing alum has made “many six figures” in less than a month on OnlyFans, according to CEO Andy Bachman on the Creators, Inc. podcast.

Mills joined the platform July 30, promising fans a more personal look at her life, and the response has been swift. “What a Queen,” one fan wrote on Threads started by Erika Jayne from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, while another declared, “I say get it girl, no matter the age.” Others admitted Mills’ success made them curious about checking out her page for themselves.

During her interview, Mills explained what led her to join OnlyFans. “They want to know me. They want to know what I do during the day when I’m home. They want to see my home. They want to know much more about my personal life than we ever experienced back in the ’80s and the ’90s, that the fans were cut off from.”

Mills made it clear that the usual OnlyFans content was “not what I’m about. Never was.” Instead, fans can view anything from makeup-free morning and evening routines to even one video of her stomping grapes with her bare feet.

Fans can’t get enough. Jayne’s thread in early Aug. stated: “Donna Mills has an OnlyFans at 80.” When RHOBH Lisa Rinna added that Mills was actually 85, Jayne replied, “I mean… how f—king amazing is that?? We need to get together soon, LOTS to discuss my friend.”

Reactions ranged from “Get that money Donna” to “Good for her.” On X, fans reacted with, “Donna Mills revealing her OnlyFans earnings at 85 is insane.”

When she decided to join OnlyFans, she told USA Today: “I’ve always appreciated the incredible support and encouragement I’ve received from my fans over the years. Social media has been a wonderful way to stay connected, but I’m excited to join OnlyFans because it offers the opportunity for a more personal and direct connection. It’s simply another platform to spend quality time with the people who’ve supported me throughout my career while staying true to who I am.”

Sara Evans is hitting the road again this winter for the The Holiday Road Tour. The country star will kick off her 10-city tour Dec. 2 in Cranston, Rhode Island, before wrapping up Dec. 18 in Des Moines, Iowa. Pit stops along the way include Albany, Green Bay, and Des Moines.

The Holiday Road Tour has become an annual tradition during the December holiday season for the singer-songwriter. The shows treat fans to classic Evans hits, like her chart-topping “Born to Fly” and “A Little Bit Stronger,” as well as holiday favorites, all performed with her live band.

North Carolina native Braden Hull, a former firefighter who’s quickly making his mark on Nashville, will be on hand for support.

Evans’ road to Nashville stardom began with a demo of Buck Owens’ “I’ve Got a Tiger by the Tail,” which caught the attention of legendary songwriter Harlan Howard back in the ’90s. She then signed with RCA Nashville and released her debut album, Three Chords and the Truth, in July 1997.

Though only a modest commercial success, the record and its neo-traditional country sound drew comparisons to Patsy Cline and earned Evans a ton of critical praise, with Rolling Stone calling it “Nashville’s most unjustly ignored debut.”

Shifting to a more contemporary country-pop sound for her next album, 1999’s No Place That Far, Evans scored her first No. 1 on the Billboard country charts with her title track, featuring Vince Gill. Evans then entered her superstar era in 2000 with Born to Fly, which went double platinum and produced the title track that earned CMA Video of the Year.

Riding the momentum, Evans released Real Fine Place in 2005, which debuted at No. 1 on the Top Country Albums chart. That success was repeated in 2011 with Stronger. In October 2023, she achieved a lifelong dream when she was officially inducted into the Grand Ole Opry.

Evans’ latest album, Unbroke, was released in June 2024, with breakout single “21 Days” and lead track “Pride” becoming fan favorites. The powerhouse vocalist is currently on the road performing shows coast to coast as she gets ready for the holidays.

Though the calendar may not say it’s officially autumn, Hallmark Channel fans know otherwise! ‘Tis the season for fall-inspired meet-cutes, complete with gorgeous foliage, cozy hay rides, and all the pumpkin lattes your heart desires.

On Saturday nights in September and the first half of October, Hallmark will premiere six star-studded “Fall Into Love” movies, including Lori Loughlin‘s highly-anticipated comeback. All of the movies previewed below will also be available to stream on Hallmark+ the day after their Hallmark Channel premieres.

September 5 — Haunted Harmony Mystery: Prelude to a Wedding Adam Fergus, Risteard Cooper, Tamera Mowry-Housley, and Marco Grazzini in Hallmark’s “Haunted Harmony Mystery: Prelude to a Wedding”

Tamera Mowry-Housley is back for her fourth movie in the Haunted Harmony Mystery franchise, along with Adam Fergus, Risteard Cooper, and Marco Grazzini.

Filmed in Ireland like the other three movies, Prelude to a Wedding sees Mowry-Housley’s character — music teacher, amateur crime solver and ghost whisperer Gethsemane Brown — get invited to play the violin at a wedding. But “she and Eamon find themselves involved in the death of a member of the bridal party,” per Hallmark’s synopsis.

We’re partial to Mowry-Housley’s own description of the flick in an August 29 social media post. She quipped in the caption, “I show up to a beautiful Irish wedding and someone ends up dead. 🫠 Classic. Good news is I have help. Bad news is my help is a ghost with unfinished business. Come solve this one with me.”

Haunted Harmony Mystery: Prelude to a Wedding premieres on Saturday, September 5 at 8 p.m. ET.

September 12 — Falling Into Place

In Falling Into Place, Alvina August returns to Hallmark for the first time since 2022’s A Second Chance at Love. She stars opposite Nathan Witte, who’s appeared in many Hallmark movies over the last decade, including June’s Texas Two Step with Brendan Penny and Heather Hemmens.

Longtime Hallmark actress Stephanie Bennett is a key member of this cast, too. According to Hallmark’s synopsis, August plays Kaia, “who returns home for her town’s fall festival as well as her high school reunion and spends the week with her childhood best friend, James, to complete their unfinished fall bucket list.”

Falling Into Place premieres on Saturday, September 12 at 8 p.m. ET.

September 19 — Garage Sale Mysteries: Murder Takes the Stage

Lori Loughlin is finally back at Hallmark, too! Seven years after facing the consequences of of a college admissions scandal that led to her Hallmark hiatus, the actress is returning to her long-running movie franchise, Garage Sale Mysteries, and Hallmark’s beloved series, When Calls the Heart (WCTH).

After Hallmark announced her return in December, the Full House alum made a brief cameo in WCTH‘s season 13 finale, teasing her return as Abigail Stanton in 2027. But Murder Takes the Stage marks Loughlin’s comeback in the mystery franchise’s 17th movie, reprising her role as antiques shop owner and amateur crime solver Jennifer Shannon. In the latest story, a member of Jennifer’s “true-crime book club is murdered during the group’s reenactment of the Lizzie Borden case,” per Hallmark’s synopsis, and the original cast is back to help.

Garage Sale Mysteries: Murder Takes the Stage premieres on Saturday, September 19 at 8 p.m. ET.

September 26 — Pumpkin Regatta Romance Mishael Morgan and Corey Sevier in Hallmark Channel’s “Pumpkin Regatta Romance”

In 2022, Morgan became the first Black actress to win a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Amanda Sinclair on Young and the Restless. But after a quiet exit from the soap earlier this year, she announced she was launching her own production company and a “new chapter” of her career.

Luckily for Hallmark fans, that includes her return to Hallmark with a new fall rom-com. She plays Nadine, daughter of a boat shop owner, and stars opposite another longtime Hallmark favorite, Corey Sevier, playing pumpkin farmer Ethan. According to Hallmark’s synopsis, “their fathers refuse to move past a disagreement” so the two “team up to heal the feud and revive the town’s Pumpkin Regatta.”

Pumpkin Regatta Romance premieres on September 29 at 8 p.m. ET.

October 3 — A Knight to Remember James Trevena and Julie Gonzalo star in Hallmark’s fall movie ‘A Knight to Remember’

Longtime Hallmark star Julie Gonzalo, who welcomed a second daughter this spring with WCTH star Chris McNally, will star in A Knight to Remember, based on Bryan Donovan‘s 2024 novel, “Her Knight in the Museum.” Gonzalo’s leading man is James Trevena, who most recently appeared in the January Hallmark movie Lost in Paradise with Lacey Chabert and Ian Harding. 

Hallmark’s synopsis says Gonzalo plays “practical museum conservator” Emily Porter, who’s restoring “a centuries-old statue of legendary knight Sir Griffin de Beauford,” played by Trevena. “One unexpected kiss brings him magically back to life and turns her carefully ordered world upside down,” the synopsis continues. “As Emily helps the chivalrous time-traveler navigate modern Chicago, pumpkin spice lattes, a Halloween Medieval Fayre, and an FBI investigation led by her ex-husband, she begins to rediscover the wonder and romance she thought she had left behind.”

A Knight to Remember premieres on Saturday, October 3 at 8 p.m. ET (Pssst! Keep your eyes peeled for a Chris McNally sighting in the movie!)

October 10 — The Spirit of Halloween Hallmark stars Kevin McGarry and Meghan Ory will star in ‘The Spirit of Halloween’

WCTH star Kevin McGarry and Chesapeake Shores alum Meghan Ory will scare up some romance in The Spirit of Halloween, which is an autumnal version of A Christmas Carol.

According to Hallmark’s logline, Ory plays “brilliant bridal designer” Everly Stone, who has “no patience for Halloween, especially the beloved fire-station bash that once left her heartbroken in front of everyone she knew.” Everly is visited by the spirit of her late mentor, who delivers a “glamorous warning.” Everly is then taken for an “unforgettable night by three mischievous spirits who reveal the joy she lost, the people she’s pushing away, and the future she might miss if she keeps hiding behind work and fear.”

McGarry plays Everly’s longtime friend, Beau Madison, who’s still “carrying a spark from their past” and, after seeing her past, present, and future, Everly has to “decide whether Halloween is the night that broke her heart or the one that can finally help it heal.”

When The Spirit of Halloween premieres on Saturday, October 10, at 8 p.m. ET, it will be the last of Hallmark’s 2026 “Fall Into Love” flicks before the network’s 17th annual Countdown to Christmas slate of holiday programming kicks off with Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story.

The anime multiverse is headed to Burger King by way of a new collaboration that fans say they’re “setting an alarm for.” Starting September first at participating Burger King restaurants, diners will be able to try a new limited-time menu inspired by Dragon Ball Super.

The nationwide launch will feature a Dragon Ball Super Power Up Pack, which includes:

Burger King teased the launch on Instagram ahead of time with a video highlighting the figurines alongside the caption, “Your next power-up is closer than you think…” Fans quickly jumped into the comments to share their excitement, writing, “I’ve never went to Burger King a day in my life…. Setting an alarm for this drop,” “Might have to skip a meal prep or two for this one,” and “I am ready to power up Burger King.” 

“Burger King really letting me have it my way,” declared another commenter, as others teased that they “don’t even care if it’s over 9000 calories,” and shared that they are “gonna be using my cheat days at BK. RIP to my diet for about a month.”

Def Leppard had finished Hysteria. Every song was written, recorded, and completed. Co-writer Mutt Lange was taking a break from the sessions when he started messing around with a chorus. The band was ready to go home. Lange insisted on just one more song. “Pour Some Sugar on Me” was written after the album was already complete. Joe Elliott later called it their ‘Beatles song’. VH1 even ranked it the No. 2 song of the entire decade. It peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100. It almost didn’t exist.

Pyromania in 1983 had sold more than 10 million copies in the US alone and made Def Leppard one of the biggest bands on the planet. The world waited four years for what came next. On New Year’s Eve 1984, drummer, Rick Allen lost his left arm in a car accident outside Sheffield, England. He was 21 years old. The band didn’t replace him. They waited.

Allen taught himself to play with a custom electronic drum kit that let his feet do what his left hand had done before. Four years of sessions. Four years of recording around a drummer rebuilding himself from scratch. That’s the album “Pour Some Sugar on Me” was accidentally added to at the very end.

The accident that created the song happened during a recording break. Mutt Lange had co-written every song on Pyromania and had already produced AC/DC‘s Back in Black — one of the best-selling albums in history. He wasn’t producing Hysteria, but he was in the sessions as a co-writer.

During a break, he started messing around with a chorus the way a man with his ear tends to do. The band was absolutely done. They’d written everything they had. Lange heard something worth keeping and insisted. “It was written almost by accident,” Elliott said later. “He still insisted that we do this song.” They recorded it after everything else was done. The last thing made became the most important thing on the record.

What it became surprised even the people who made it. “Pour Some Sugar on Me” peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 — never a No. 1. Chart position turned out to be the least interesting thing about it. The song found a life completely outside the album — in bars, saloons, sporting events, and nostalgia playlists. By the early 1990s it had become as much a fixture of American bar culture as it was of rock radio. It outlasted the glam era it came from by finding a completely different audience in the decade that followed. Hysteria sold more than 20 million copies worldwide. “Pour Some Sugar on Me” is the reason most people know it.

Elliott’s full quote says everything: “It became the most important song on the album, if not our career. Think of the most iconic Beatles song you can think of. That’s what it became for us.” What he means is a song that exists beyond its album. A song everyone knows regardless of whether they know anything else the artist made. “Pour Some Sugar on Me” is in that company. A Beatles song for a band from Sheffield who almost lost their drummer and then accidentally wrote the best thing they’d ever done after they thought they were finished.

Mutt Lange was taking a break. He started messing around with a chorus. The band was done. He insisted. They stayed. They recorded one more song. Def Leppard had finished Hysteria before “Pour Some Sugar on Me” existed. VH1 called it the No. 2 song of the decade. Joe Elliott calls it their Beatles song.

Some accidents are better than anything planned.

Kristen Welker became the latest target of President Donald Trump’s ire after he called for the FCC to “rebuke or punish” the NBC anchor over a comment about his record of endorsing political candidates.

Trump claimed Welker’s description of his endorsement record as “mixed” was deliberately inaccurate and said she would be “reported” to the FCC.

Trump went after Welker in a lengthy Sunday post on Truth Social, calling the Meet the Press moderator the “Unpopular ‘Hostess’” of what he now calls “Meet the Fake Press.” He accused her of mischaracterizing his endorsement record after she said he had seen “mixed results” in recent primary races.

The FCC has limited authority over news coverage, and its own website states that the agency “cannot prevent the broadcast of any particular point of view.” Democratic Commissioner Anna Gomez also pushed back on Trump’s demand, saying the agency has “no authority to punish journalists this administration doesn’t like.”

That didn’t stop the reaction online. One Threads user joked that FCC Chair Brendan Carr had just received his “Monday to do list,” while others mocked Trump for appearing to enlist a federal agency over a television segment.

Another commenter summed up the frustration more bluntly, writing, “My feelings are hurt, therefore the country’s feelings are hurt.” Others questioned why a journalist should face government scrutiny simply for making a comment Trump disliked, with one user writing that “criticism against him personally is not unlawful.”

The roast didn’t cool much on X. “So he’s using the power of the office to harass a journalist who reported facts? Fact – Trump nat’l approval is 33%. The % of republican voters is 43%. He doesn’t even carry his base,” one person wrote. Another person posted a photo of Trump along with the words: “Okay boomer.”

NBC also stood behind Welker, with a spokesperson telling CNN, “Kristen is one of the best in the business and we stand by her.” The network’s recent reporting backed up her characterization of Trump’s endorsement record, noting that six Trump-backed House and gubernatorial candidates lost their primaries earlier this month.

After more than a decade of dramatic family dynamics, Sister Wives has officially entered uncharted territory.

Following the painful unraveling of Kody Brown’s polygamist family, which saw Meri, Janelle, and Christine all walk away from their marriages, the series finds itself at a critical crossroads. With Kody and his legal wife, Robyn, now living a strictly monogamous lifestyle, long-time viewers are speaking up about the TLC franchise’s future.

Many fans argued on Reddit that the show’s core premise has completely run its course, insisting that the only way for Sister Wives to remain relevant beyond Season 21 is for producers to bring in a fresh cast or introduce a dramatic new twist. They claim that without major changes to the cast or storyline, the reality series should end.

One fan came up with a scenario they believe would give the long-running series a freshm new start. “IMO, the only way to save the show is for Kody to bring in new younger wives to the new McMansion so that Robyn can finally live the one-house polygamous lifestyle as the OG3 did in Lehi. Then, the OG3 wives could watch the episodes and make comments and comparisons to their experiences.”

A second Redditor wrote, “I hope season 21 is the end. Nothing can revive the show. However, if TLC still wants to milk it, they should release a few ‘Sister Wives Uncut: What We Didn’t Show You’ episodes.”

They continued, “They have a lot of content that didn’t make it into the show. Not sure how the contracts work, but probably they could do it with minimal pay or none. I’d offer the OG family a payday to comment on the unseen footage and let Kody and Robyn scream into the abyss.”

“I’m still dying to see the Christmas gift exchange group texts. I’d pay money to see how the kids roasted Robyn in it!” wrote a third viewer, about a family moment which was said to have completely distanced Robyn from Kody’s other children with his OG wives.

A fourth social media fan concluded, “TLC needs to re-evaluate and rebrand or shut it down. I don’t blame the adult children for distancing themselves from the show because it’s an absolute embarrassment the direction the show has went toward. Unfortunately the parents can’t carry the show themselves and the footage clearly shows it.”

For over a decade, viewers have stuck with the Brown family through every move, conflict, and milestone. But as the original vision of Sister Wives has completely faded into the background, fan patience is wearing thin. As Season 21 approaches, TLC stands at a critical fork in the road; risk letting the once-monumental series fizzle out, or deliver the bold twist fans are begging for to keep the magic alive.

Dolly Parton‘s death last week sent people back to that familiar typewriter clatter that opens “9 to 5.” Few remember that the song, and the movie that it shared a name with, began with real secretaries who once stood up in a room and admitted they had dreamed about killing their bosses.

The story starts in Boston in 1972, when Karen Nussbaum and Ellen Cassedy, both clerical workers at Harvard, founded a newsletter and grassroots group called 9to5, organizing women around the problems of low pay, no advancement, and daily disrespect. Nussbaum had met Jane Fonda through the antiwar movement, and the two stayed close as Nussbaum’s organizing work grew into a national labor group that would later fold into SEIU.

Fonda wanted to turn those stories into a film. Writer Patricia Resnick spent weeks shadowing secretaries at a Los Angeles insurance company to build the script, and the project’s turning point came at a meeting with roughly 40 office workers in Cleveland, where Fonda asked if anyone had ever fantasized about killing their boss. The room lit up with stories, and those stories became the movie’s revenge plot.

Before the movie existed, 9to5 was already staging its own real-life comedy. The group ran an annual Bad Boss contest, once naming a boss who made his secretary sew up his pants while he was still wearing them, then took the story to the press and eventually onto The Phil Donahue Show. It was that same appetite for public embarrassment that gave the film its comic engine.

Dolly Parton, then a country star with no film experience, was cast to widen the movie’s audience beyond Fonda and Lily Tomlin‘s built-in fan base. She wrote the title track on set, tapping her acrylic nails together to mimic the sound of a typewriter, a rhythm the record’s credits list as “nails by Dolly.”

Released December 19, 1980, “9 to 5” became the second-highest-grossing film of the year, trailing only “The Empire Strikes Back,” and pulled in more than $103 million. Parton’s song hit number one on the Hot 100, won two Grammys, and earned her an Oscar nomination.

The real 9to5 organization outlasted the movie. It pushed for laws including the Family and Medical Leave Act and the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, and its Seattle union local still operates today. In 2021, Parton reworked the song as “5 to 9″ for a Squarespace Super Bowl ad directed by Damien Chazelle, giving the anthem a second life for a generation working very different hours.

Parton died August 25 at 80, after what her publicist described as a brief illness. The women who inspired her most famous song, and the ones who have sung along to it in offices ever since, are the reason it never stopped sounding current.

As Larry David once joked in Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness, “If you visit England, don’t suddenly come home with an English accent.” For Brian Kelly, that joke has become something of an Internet calling card.

The former LSU and Notre Dame coach made his CBS Sports broadcasting debut Saturday, and while he kept his usual voice in the booth, fans quickly revived the infamous Southern accent he adopted after taking the LSU job.

Kelly barely had time to settle into his new role before social media started roasting him — from his broadcasting skills to the accent joke that has followed him for nearly five years.

Fans had plenty of material to work with. Some viewers simply couldn’t get past Kelly’s presence in the booth, with one calling him on X, “the most hated guy in college football,” while another declared him “the worst voice calling a game.” Others jabbed at his unusual financial situation, joking that he was “the highest paid announcer” even though his CBS paycheck was hardly the reason for his move out of coaching.

And, of course, the old accent jokes came roaring back, with one fan asking how many accents Kelly would imitate during the three-hour broadcast. “What accent did he use?” one person stated in the thread, with another person adding, “But did he do it with a Louisiana accent?”

Kelly was also noticeably animated in the booth, gesturing so much that one viewer joked, “Is he getting paid per hand gesture?”

Kelly’s move to the broadcast booth marks a major change for someone who spent more than four decades on the coaching side of college football, including his time at Notre Dame and LSU, before the Tigers fired him last October after a 5-3 start to the 2025 season. Kelly never reached the College Football Playoff during his LSU tenure, and the program subsequently hired Lane Kiffin to replace him.

For moviegoers of the ’80s and ’90s, few actors embodied Hollywood romance quite like Richard Gere.

Whether audiences first met him in American Gigolo, rooted for him in An Officer and a Gentleman or fell in love with Pretty Woman, Gere spent decades as one of Hollywood’s defining leading men.

Today, Aug. 31, the Oscar-nominated actor celebrates his 77th birthday, and his life looks very different from what it did at the height of his fame.

Born in Philadelphia in 1949, Gere originally attended the University of Massachusetts on a gymnastics scholarship before leaving college to pursue acting. After getting his start on stage in the early 1970s, he shot to stardom with 1980’s American Gigolo, before cementing his status as one of Hollywood’s biggest box office draws with films including An Officer and a Gentleman, Pretty Woman, Runaway Bride, Primal Fear and the Oscar-winning musical Chicago.

But while millions of fans still associate Gere with his romantic leading-man roles, his life today is centered less on Hollywood glamour and more on family.

In recent years, Gere and his wife, Spanish publicist Alejandra Silva, relocated their family to Spain, a move that has allowed them to spend more time near Silva’s relatives while embracing a quieter pace of life.

That quieter lifestyle hasn’t meant stepping away from acting. He has recently starred in Paramount+’s espionage thriller The Agency.

The series also arrived at an interesting moment in his personal life, as his eldest son, Homer Gere, began pursuing an acting career of his own.

While promoting The Agency in a June interview with Argentine outlet TN, Gere shared the advice he’s given Homer about entering the business.

“My son just started acting and I told him, ‘Look, this is a job. A really wonderful job, and very few can make a living with it. Most of the actors are out of work. So having this job, being working, is something wonderful, but it’s a job.'”

Outside of acting, the legendary leading man has spent more than four decades championing humanitarian causes. Through his Gere Foundation, he has supported human rights, refugee assistance, HIV/AIDS awareness, homelessness initiatives and environmental conservation. He is also one of Hollywood’s most prominent advocates for the Tibetan people, serving for decades as chairman of the International Campaign for Tibet and working closely with the Dalai Lama on efforts to preserve Tibetan culture and promote human rights. 

During the same interview, Gere reflected on how little fame has changed the way he views himself despite decades as one of Hollywood’s biggest stars. “I’m the same person as you,” Gere said. “I go through the same problems, the same joys, the same difficulties, the same happiness and the same unhappiness.”

According to a new press release shared with us over email, Chipotle is officially bringing back their beloved Pollo Asado, a fabled menu item that now utilizes a fresh recipe.

Featuring freshly grilled adobo chicken seasoned with garlic, Mexican spices and hand-cut cilantro, the flavorful combination is then topped with real lime for a tangy, citrusy, unbelievably delicious finish.

If that weren’t already exciting enough, Chipotle will also be rolling out its new Chili Lime Chips for an equally limited time this fall. Inspired by the heavily customized chip recipes shared by fans online, the new chips feature a unique balance between heat and citrus, paving the way to a side dish most diners won’t want to miss out on.

“Pollo Asado delivered strong results in testing, giving us clear evidence that guests were  excited about the new recipe,” said Fernando Machado, Chief Brand Officer. “At the same time, we saw guests hacking their Chipotle orders with packaged chips and asked ourselves: What would this look like done the Chipotle way?”

“Chili Lime Chips are our answer— with no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives and an ingredient list that doesn’t require a chemistry degree to understand,” Machado continued. “One menu item generated real momentum before going national; the other was inspired directly by how our fans eat Chipotle. Together, they gave us two compelling reasons to do something we’ve never done before and launch both at once.” 

“With this new recipe, we wanted to bring more brightness and dimension to Pollo Asado while preserving its savory, smoky flavor,” said Nevielle Panthaky, Senior Vice President of Culinary at Chipotle. “The citrus finish cuts through the smoky notes of the chicken and naturally complements the tangy, spiced seasoning of our Chili Lime Chips.”

The returning Pollo Asado officially arrives on nationwide Chipotle menus on August 31. On that same day, Chipotle Rewards members will gain exclusive digital access to the Chili Lime Chips, before the chips become available on all menus starting September 4.

There’s nothing quite like the first few cooler days of fall to make a warm cinnamon roll sound even better. Soft dough, plenty of cinnamon, and a swirl of cream cheese frosting are pretty much everything you could want with a hot cup of coffee on a slow weekend morning.

What’s less appealing is spending hours in the kitchen making them from scratch. But Costco has a new freezer find that delivers that warm, gooey experience in less than a minute, with no planning ahead or sticky kitchen required.

The new Sunshine Buns Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Frosting come fully baked and frozen, so there’s no waiting for dough to rise or even turning on the oven. Each 46-ounce bag contains 10 individually wrapped cinnamon rolls with frosting packets, making it easy to heat one at a time whenever the craving hits.

The package says they can go straight from freezer to fluffy in under a minute. Unwrap a bun, heat it in the microwave for 30 to 45 seconds, and add the cream cheese icing. For a slightly crispier roll, they can also be heated in an air fryer at 350°F for 10 to 12 minutes or in a conventional oven at 350°F for 20 to 25 minutes.

Costco is selling the 10-serving package for $14.99, although prices and availability can vary by warehouse. That works out to about $1.50 per cinnamon roll, which is a pretty sweet deal compared with picking one up at a coffee shop or bakery. It’s Costco item #2067648 if you want to check local availability.

And yes, commenters noticed the nutrition label. Each frosted bun has 530 calories, prompting @mom2wavy to write, “530 🤯 bugging.”

But cinnamon rolls aren’t exactly known for being diet food, and another commenter, @romecanfinance, came to their defense: “1 Cinnabon is 880 calories just in case y’all didn’t know.”

They’re right. According to Cinnabon, its Classic Roll clocks in at 880 calories. So at 530 calories, these frozen Costco cinnamon rolls are practically diet food by comparison. Ha!

More importantly, on a chilly fall morning, they offer all the cinnamon, cream cheese frosting, and warm-from-the-oven appeal without spending half the day baking.

In the caption, Spencer wrote the following heartbreaking message. “31 August. My least favorite day.” The post appears to have comments turned off.

He referenced the day his sister died after sustaining life-threatening injuries in a car crash in Paris, France, in 1997. Diana died alongside her reported boyfriend, Dodi al Fayed, and their driver, Henri Paul. Bodyguard Trevor Rees-Jones survived.

Beyond his social media tributes, Spencer frequently honors his sister’s legacy by sharing rare photos and personal memories of their childhood bond. Now, he is preparing to tell her full story on his own terms with his upcoming book, Swan Song: Diana, My Sister, set for release on Sept. 22.

“The aim of this book is to tell the truth about Diana from her brother’s perspective, just as I attempted to do when speaking at her funeral,” Spencer said in a press release, as shared by PEOPLE Magazine. “As with my eulogy, I want to speak on Diana’s behalf and do so in an openly positive way.”

Today, Princess Diana rests at the heart of Althorp Park’s Pleasure Garden on a serene island in the Round Oval lake. Her brother has often reflected on the comfort he finds in knowing her sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, have a tranquil, private refuge where they can come and go as they choose to honor their mother.

In 2017, Spencer told PEOPLE, “I never go to Diana with them. It’s very much their time there,” said Spencer. “But I think it’s very important for them to be there with her. It is, luckily, very tranquil here, and they can come and go as they wish whenever they want. And that’s very lovely for me to know that.”

When David Bowie released the album The Man Who Sold the World in 1970, it was considered a “transitional” album. Sales were initially poor, according to Ultimate Classic Rock, and the title track, which featured an ominous sound with distorted guitar and unsettling, ambiguous lyrics written by a young Bowie, went nowhere. At first.

A 1972 cover story for The History of Rock joked that The Man Who Sold the World “sold about five copies” in the UK and that “Bowie bought them.”

Bowie seemed to have mixed feelings on the music. In the same article, he was asked if there was any of his songs that he could have done better if he’d done them later, and he replied, “A lot of Man Who Sold The World, although that was one of the best albums I made. It was a whole traumatic period.”

Bowie soon became a glam rock god with the 1972 release of The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars, but it would be two decades before the song “The Man Who Sold the World” received mainstream attention in the U.S.

The revival for “The Man Who Sold the World” came in 1993 when Nirvana performed it in front of a live audience on MTV Unplugged. The haunting acoustic rendition of the song was one of lead singer Kurt Cobain’s last performances before his death in early 1994, becoming a posthumous gift for fans when it was included on the band’s Unplugged album. Nirvana’s “The Man Who Sold the World” became a commercial success due to heavy radio and MTV airplay.

Former Nirvana drummer Chad Channing told Songfacts he had introduced Cobain to the Bowie song a few years prior to Unplugged.

“We were in Boston and stopped by this record store, and I found this copy of The Man Who Sold The World. It was a cool copy – it had the poster in it and everything,” Channing recalled. “And those guys weren’t familiar with the record. And I inquired about, ‘What David Bowie do you like? Do you like David Bowie?’ And they’re like, ‘Well, the only David Bowie we’re familiar with is ‘Let’s Dance.’ I was surprised. I was like, ‘Really? Wow.’ I was like, ‘You’ve got to hear some early David Bowie, for sure.”

Channing later played the title track for Cobain, who was blown away.

Bowie was also blown away by Nirvana’s version of the song. In a video interview in the late 1990s, he said. “It’s a really sad rendition of course, because it’s so tied up with [Cobain’s] own life and death. So it takes on all these different shades for me.“

“Because I always sort of remember, fairly clearly, my state of mind when I was actually writing it,” Bowie shared. “Which I guess was as near to a mystical state as a 19-year-old could get into. And I remember it was at a time when I was sort of studying Buddhism. For my 15 minutes of Buddhism. So it’s interesting that it really had two mystical states—the time I wrote and recorded it and  the time when he recorded it again.”

Decades later, both versions of “The Man Who Sold the World” remain classics from the eras in which they were recorded, two different looks at the same song that get even better with age.

You know the feeling: you finally touch down somewhere wonderful, but instead of feeling ready to explore, you feel like you’re moving through airport fog. Between hormonal shifts, lighter sleep, early wakeups, and the general reality that your body no longer bounces back from a red-eye the way it did at 30, a “quick nap” can sound like common sense. But sleep experts say that first-day habit can backfire, and the reason has everything to do with how your body reads the clock in a new place.

The “Nap Trap” Is Real

It is the classic first-day vacation mistake: you check into your room after a long flight, close the curtains, kick off your shoes, and promise yourself you will just rest your eyes for 20 minutes. Three hours later, you wake up groggy, thirsty, confused about what day it is, and somehow more exhausted than before. That is the nap trap, and it is exactly the kind of well-meaning move that can make jet lag drag on longer than it needs to.

“One common mistake is taking a long nap as soon as you arrive,” says John Saito, MD, FAAP FCCP FAASM, Board Certified in Pediatrics, Pulmonary, and Sleep Medicine, of Pulmonary and Sleep Consultants in Fountain Valley, CA.  “While it may feel necessary after a long flight, sleeping during the local daytime can make it harder for your internal clock to adjust. Whenever possible, try to stay awake until close to your normal bedtime in the new time zone.”

Why Your Body Clock Needs a Hand

Your circadian rhythm is your body’s internal 24-hour timekeeper. It helps regulate when you feel sleepy, when you feel alert, when your digestion runs smoothly, and even when your body temperature naturally rises and falls. The problem is that this clock does not instantly update just because your plane landed in Paris, Rome, or Honolulu.

It takes its cues from the world around you, especially light and darkness. So when you nap through the local afternoon, you may feel like you are being sensible, but your brain may read that darkness and sleep as confirmation that it should stay on your old schedule.

That is why daylight matters so much. In a Journal of Biological Rhythms study focused on pre-flight adjustment for eastward travel, researchers found that people who advanced their sleep schedule and used morning bright light shifted their circadian timing more than those exposed only to dim indoor light. The research tells us that the right light at the right time can help nudge your body clock in the direction you want it to go.

Jet Lag Is More Than Feeling Tired

Jet lag is not just sleepiness with a passport. When your body clock is out of sync, your appetite, digestion, mood, and focus can all feel off. And, if you’re over 50, that can hit harder because sleep may already be lighter or more easily disrupted. Add a time-zone jump, cabin dehydration, airport stress, and a long nap at the wrong time, and your body has a lot to sort out.

That does not mean you have to white-knuckle your way through the first day. It means you want to be strategic. If you truly cannot keep your eyes open, a short nap can be better than falling asleep face-first at dinner, but the keyword is short. Set an alarm, keep it brief, and do not let a reset turn into a full afternoon sleep session, per the American Heart Association.

“Start living on local time as soon as you arrive,” Dr. Saito advises. “Get outside for appropriately timed daylight, exercise and eat meals according to the local schedule and try to stay awake until a reasonable local bedtime. The goal is to give your body consistent signals that help reset its internal clock.”

This is where women over 50 may already have useful body awareness: sleep is influenced by more than fatigue alone. Timing, meal patterns, light exposure, stress levels, caffeine, and the body’s ability to wind down all help regulate the sleep-wake cycle. Travel disrupts many of those cues at once, so the goal on arrival day is to reintroduce them in a steady, predictable way.

Your Day-One Game Plan

After you land, get outside if you can. Take a slow walk, sit near a sunny café window, or do something low-key that keeps you upright and exposed to local daylight. Eat at the local meal times, even if you are not wildly hungry. Drink water before you decide you “need” another coffee. Airplane cabins are dry, and dehydration can make jet lag feel heavier. Think twice about alcohol too, said the Mayo Clinic. A glass of wine may feel like a shortcut to sleep, but it can fragment sleep later, which is the last thing you need when your body clock is already asking questions.

Prep Starts Before You Leave

The smartest jet lag strategy begins before the suitcase is zipped. If you’re traveling across several time zones, try nudging your bedtime and wake time toward your destination by about 30 minutes a day for a few days before you leave. Eastward trips are often tougher because they require your body to fall asleep earlier than it wants to, so a little preparation can help. Also, do not start vacation already depleted if you can avoid it. A sleep debt does not magically disappear at baggage claim.

Once you arrive, think of the first day as a gentle reset, not a test of endurance. You do not have to conquer the city by noon or pretend you are not tired. You simply want to avoid sending your body the wrong message at the worst possible moment. Skip the long daytime nap, get some light, eat on local time, keep moving a little, and aim for a reasonable bedtime. That is not glamorous travel advice, but it works, says Dr. Saito, and it can save the first few days of a trip you have been looking forward to for months or even years.

At the beginning of the clip, “Pounds Hollow” played, featuring the following lyrics: “Off of Highway 1 tucked in the pines / We’re leaving all the city and the stress behind.” The track continued, “We’ll find a little spot in the shade / Where the memories are made down in Pounds Hollow.”

Amy explained, “I wrote that song when me and Tammy were in our argument, hoping that one day that everything would be all right.”

“Pounds Hollow is just this little place in Illinois,” she continued. “It was just a free place to go as kids, you know. Mama didn’t have a lot of money, raising five of us. So that was kind of like our family’s Kokomo.”

When a producer asked how many songs she has written, Amy said, “Probably 300.” She admitted, however, that the only lyrics she knows are to “Pounds Hollow” and another song titled “My P—y Tastes Like a McFlurry.”

“You gotta listen to the song. It’s a good song,” Amy insisted. “Amanda loves it. She said that’s her favorite one. Like, talking about my c—er’s your favorite song? OK.”

Some of the lyrics include: “My p—y like a McFlurry, don’t be in a hurry / If you want a taste, boy, better slow down, don’t worry / Sweet like summer with a little whipped cream.”

Her sister, Amanda Halterman, confirmed this, telling producers, “I thought it was good. You know, it’s got a nice little bop to it. And I know that she’s got to go in and put her vocals with it. I think it’s fine.”

Their sister, Misty Wenworth, however, wasn’t so sure about Amy’s music. “Have you heard Amy’s music? What do you think of it?” a producer asked, to which she whispered, “Ask me off camera.”

Meanwhile, Tammy Slaton revealed, “Actually, I like a lot of her music.”

Unfortunately, their brother, Chris Combs, wasn’t sold. “Look, I don’t have a problem with her passion. But if you use AI to do anything, you didn’t do it.”

Legendary musician Van Morrison has earned a plethora of awards and honors throughout his career, which has spanned more than six decades. Today, he celebrates his 81st birthday.

Born Aug. 31, 1945, in Belfast, Northern Ireland, the singer-songwriter began his professional music career as a teenager in the late 1950s, when he would play instruments such as the saxophone, guitar, and harmonica for local Irish showbands.

In 1964, he formed the R&B band Them, where he sang lead on the garage-rock classic “Gloria.” Morrison wrote the track when he was 18 years old, and it is reported that lyrics were often ad-libbed during live performances, which would stretch the song out to as long as 20 minutes.

The track was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1999 and has been covered dozens of times. Among those covers is perhaps the most notable of all — Patti Smith‘s “Gloria: Excelsis Deo,” recorded for her 1975 debut studio album Horses.

Smith’s reimagining of the song was ranked No. 97 on Rolling Stone‘s 2024 list of the “500 Greatest Songs of All Time,” while Collider named the song one of the “best classical rock songs” of all time.

Morrison has won two Grammy Awards over the course of his career.

In 1996, his 1989 hit “Have I Told You Lately” took home the award for Pop Collaboration With Vocals following the joint studio version with The Chieftains. Two years later in 1998, Morrison won his second Grammy, again in the Pop Collaboration With Vocals category, but this time for his work with John Lee Hooker on “Don’t Look Back.”

The singer is widely known by his nickname “Van the Man,” which he was given by Canadian-American rock band The Band. He acquired the nickname after guitarist Robbie Robertson shouted it out as Morrison left the stage after performing his song “Caravan” during The Band’s famous farewell concert, The Last Waltz, which was held at San Francisco’s Winterland Ballroom on Nov. 25, 1976, and filmed by Martin Scorsese.

At his 2016 knighthood, Morrison acknowledged the iconic nickname.

“Well, take your pick,” the “Brown Eyed Girl” hitmaker said when asked if fans could still address him as “Van the Man.”
