Country Star Orville Peck Drops Casey Wasserman's Agency in the Wake of Newly Released Epstein Files

This corner of the Marvel Universe has been reimagined into a shadow-drenched classic noir atmosphere, as eerie as it is theatrical. Cage plays Ben Reilly, a soured private investigator who gets his Spidey senses, brawls in bar fights, and comes unhinged in a way only Cage can pull off. In an interview with Esquire, he called the character “70 percent Humphrey Bogart, and 30 percent Bugs Bunny.”
In a move that echoes Godzilla Minus One and Godzilla Minus One: Minus Color, the studio is producing two versions of the series: one in black and white, to mimic the 1940s comics, per Esquire, and the other in True Color, reflecting the Marvel Comics that inspired it. The trailers were released in both versions as well. Watch them both -- it's a fun five-minute distraction you deserve right now.
“The truth is, they both work and they're beautiful for different reasons,” Cage told the magazine. “The color is super saturated and gorgeous. I think teenage viewers will appreciate the color, but I also want them to have the option. If they want to experience the concept in black and white, maybe that would instill some interest in them to look at earlier movies and enjoy that as an art form as well.”
Also in the cast are Lamorne Morris, Li Jun Li, Karen Rodriguez, Abraham Popoola, Jack Huston, and Brendan Gleeson, with Lukas Haas, Cameron Britton, Amanda Schull, and Andrew Robinson guest-starring.
Behind the lens, we have Oren Uziel (Mortal Combat, Escape Room) and Steve Lightfoot (Hannibal, Narcos) showrunning and executive-producing. Harry Bradbeer of Enola Holmes and Killing Eve fame directed the first two episodes. He's also an executive producer.
Spider-Noir premieres on MGM+ and Prime Video on May 27.

Abby Wambach Leaves Casey Wasserman’s Agency Amid Jeffrey Epstein Ties
Soccer legend Abby Wambach has publicly severed her relationship with the Wasserman Agency, the high-profile talent and sports-management firm founded by Casey Wasserman, after newly released documents linked him to Jeffrey Epstein's inner circle.
Wambach, a two-time Olympic gold medalist and one of the most recognizable figures in U.S. women's soccer history, announced her departure on Instagram, saying she had read Wasserman's email exchanges with Ghislaine Maxwell—Epstein's close associate and later convicted trafficker—as published in the Department of Justice's latest release of the Epstein files.
"I have left the Wasserman Agency," Wambach wrote, adding that she was following her "gut" and "values."
She emphasized her trust in her longtime agent of nearly 20 years, but said she could not remain under Wasserman's leadership.
"Casey should resign. He should leave, so more people like me don't have to," she wrote.

Wasserman has admitted regret over the correspondence, saying it occurred before Maxwell's and Epstein's crimes were known publicly and asserting that he never had a personal or business relationship with Epstein.
Wambach's decision to leave the agency marks one of the more high-profile defections from the agency and the first major departure from the sports world in response to the scandal. Her resignation follows similar exits by musicians, including Chappell Roan and others who have objected to Wasserman's inclusion in the released correspondence.

‘90s Music Star Details ‘Aggressive’ Cancer Battle and the Strict Change That Saved His Life
Montell Jordan is celebrating a major health victory, but the road to recovery was far more volatile than fans initially realized. The '90s R&B star, who confirmed he was cancer-free in December, has revealed new details about the "aggressive" return of the disease that tested his faith and forced a total lifestyle overhaul.
The "This Is How We Do It" singer opened up for the first time about the terrifying moment he learned his prostate cancer had come back, and the specific changes he credits with keeping him healthy today.
An ‘Aggressive’ RecurrenceJordan, 57, was first diagnosed with Stage 1 prostate cancer in early 2024. Following a routine PSA test, he underwent a radical prostatectomy and was initially believed to be in the clear.
However, nearly a year later, the situation took a dangerous turn. Follow-up scans revealed the cancer had returned, this time appearing in his lymph nodes as an "aggressive" Stage 2 prostate cancer.
The recurrence forced Jordan to undergo radiation treatment, a grueling process that he described as a "rollercoaster". But on Christmas Day 2025, he got the call he had been praying for.
“Christmas Day we found out that we are undetected, cancer-free,” Jordan said. “We're finally at an all-clear and I feel fantastic”.
He described the experience as a "surreal" moment, standing in his home surrounded by his children and grandchildren when the phone rang. "It's almost like it's still unbelievable that we're at this place right now, but we're just super, super grateful".

The Strict Lifestyle OverhaulNow a "two-time cancer survivor," Jordan admits he has no fear of another recurrence. Part of that confidence comes from a total overhaul of his daily habits.
The Grammy-nominated artist revealed he has cut sugar and dairy entirely from his diet and committed to a rigorous exercise routine to starve off potential illness. Crucially, he isn't doing it alone. His wife, Kristin, has adopted the same regimen to ensure he stays on track.
"Everything that we do, we have to do in tandem and in unison in order for it to last," Kristin explained. "We better take care of these temples that we have because we only get one, right?"
Jordan’s transparency is part of his broader mission to encourage men, specifically Black men, who are at higher risk for prostate cancer—to prioritize early detection and not fear the doctor's office.
"These lifestyle changes helped in our journey," Kristin added, "but they will help limit us from having other sickness or other issues further down the line".

I do think that would be the focus of her life. It would be: Is it Instagram post-worthy? And if not, it’s not even worth it.”
Whelchel, who played Warner for nine seasons on the hit series, recently hosted Collector’s Call on MeTV.
In addition to her work hosting Collector’s Call, Whelchel has dipped into reality TV. She was a contestant in Survivor: Philippines in 2012 and made it to the Final Tribal Council before being defeated. When Entertainment Weekly asked Whelchel if she would be returning for Survivor: 50, Whelchel said no.
“I was not contacted,” Whelchel told EW, explaining that she did the Survivor Quarantine Questionnaire several years back and made it clear she wasn’t interested. “I think one of the reasons is because you did do the COVID interview with me and I was very clear that I would never do it again.”

I Made Ina Garten's 'Easy Chocolate Mousse' and There's Just One Thing I Would Change
From her homemade ricotta cheese to her elegant potato galette and her viral brownie pudding, Ina Garten's fan-favorite recipes are well-loved and frequently tested here at Parade. We're drawn to the Barefoot Contessa's simple, sophisticated dishes that help us bring a little bit of Ina's elegance to our kitchens, so it was only a matter of time before we dug our spoons into Ina's Easy Chocolate Mousse.
Ina first shared her recipe for this timeless treat just a few years ago, but it quickly became a favorite amongst her most loyal fans. And I can see why. This dessert embodies everything that home cooks love about Ina's recipes: It’s simple, yet dinner party-worthy, and it's made with high-quality ingredients, like good chocolate, strong coffee, flavorful vanilla extract and plenty of booze.
It’s also easy to make the mousse look fancy and this is one dish that must be made ahead, which is a major plus for dinner parties and holiday gatherings. Top it off with homemade whipped cream because, after all, everything's better with whipped cream. In true Ina fashion, if you don’t have time to make whipped cream from scratch, store-bought would be fine, though we're not sure we can imagine Ina wielding a can of Reddi-wip.
After running across this recipe, I knew I had to give it a try in my kitchen, as I've done with plenty of Ina recipes in the past. So I gathered the ingredients and started mixing with the hopes of finding a new favorite chocolate mousse recipe. Would this one become my go-to for hosting and entertaining? What Is Ina Garten's Easy Chocolate Mousse?Kelly Vaughan
Ina Garten’s Easy Chocolate Mousse recipe first appeared in her 2022 cookbook, Go-To Dinners. She calls it a beginner-friendly recipe that serves four to five guests—presumably those that she hosts in the gardens of her East Hampton home. It’s a make-ahead recipe that’s perfect for at-home dinner parties and date nights because it’s so simple yet luxurious.

To make Ina Garten’s chocolate mousse, you’ll need a duo of bittersweet and milk chocolate, which gives the mousse its rich, complex flavor. You’ll also need freshly-brewed espresso or coffee, plus coffee liqueur (like Kahlúa), which enhances the deep chocolate notes. A little bit of vanilla and kosher salt helps to round out all the flavors.
To give the mousse its luxurious texture, Ina calls for using extra-large eggs (you'll use the yolks and whites separately). Be sure to check the carton in your fridge because using the wrong size can impact how this dessert turns out.
Finally, you’ll make a quick whipped cream with heavy cream and granulated sugar, which is folded into the chocolate and egg mixture to lighten everything up and make it ultra creamy.

How To Make Ina's Chocolate MousseKelly Vaughan
Start by grabbing a double boiler or DIYing one by adding a few inches of water to a small pot and placing a medium heatproof bowl (metal or glass) on top of the pot. If you're setting up your own double boiler, make sure the water doesn't touch the bottom of the bowl, which can cause the chocolate to burn.
Once you have your setup ready, add both chocolates and the brewed coffee to the bowl and bring the water to a boil. Heat just until the chocolate melts, stirring often. Once the chocolate is melted, carefully remove the bowl and stir in the Kahlúa and vanilla, then set aside to cool.
In the meantime, beat the egg whites and salt together until stiff peaks form. I used a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, but you can also use a hand mixer to do this.

Next, you’ll whisk the egg yolks into the chocolate mixture, then add the beaten egg whites in two batches (whisking the first batch, then folding in the remainder with a rubber spatula).

In the same bowl that you whipped the egg whites in, make a simple homemade whipped cream with heavy cream and granulated sugar. Once the ingredients form cohesive soft peaks, gently fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture. Divide the mousse among four to five small dessert bowls and chill for at least two hours or up to overnight.
When you’re ready to serve, garnish with sweetened whipped cream—which, of course, Ina has included a recipe for (but again, canned whipped cream will work perfectly fine).

Ina Garten's Easy Chocolate Mousse: My Honest ThoughtsKelly Vaughan
Making homemade chocolate mousse isn’t exactly a beginner-friendly task, and despite its "easy" title, Ina’s recipe is no exception. Her version follows several traditional steps for making chocolate mousse, including melting the chocolate in a double boiler, separately incorporating the egg whites and egg yolks, and making whipped cream.
Each of these steps is somewhat time-consuming, creates a lot of dirty dishes and requires the knowledge of some specific techniques. I do think the recipe title and cook level (“beginner”) are misleading and could ultimately lead a novice cook astray.
But let’s get to the important part—the rich, velvety and chocolatey dessert. When I first tasted the mousse from the mixing bowl before it set, I found it to be extremely rich and decadent—perhaps even too rich and decadent. But after it chilled in the fridge for a few hours and set, the mousse really impressed me.
The texture was perfectly airy and fluffy, while the flavor was still plenty rich and decadent (but not quite as overwhelming). The bonus whipped cream topping helped balance out all of that chocolatey richness, and I'd go so far as to say that for the most enjoyable eating experience, it’s not an optional garnish.
However, this chocolate mousse did taste quite boozy thanks to the addition of ¼ cup of Kahlúa; if you follow Ina’s math and divide this mousse between just four bowls, that amounts to an entire tablespoon of Kahlúa in each serving. Although I enjoy the flavor of the coffee liqueur, I found that it almost overpowered the chocolate mousse rather than enhanced it.
Overall, I did enjoy the chocolatey depth of this mousse, and it's one that I would make again. However, I'd probably tweak the recipe slightly so it wouldn't be quite so boozy, and I'd make sure to chill the mousse overnight to allow the flavors to mellow out a bit.
3 Tips for Making Ina's Chocolate Mousse1. Make sure to beat the egg whites to soft peaksThe beaten egg white mixture is key to achieving that airy, light mousse texture. Simply mixing the egg whites won't get the job done—make sure you beat them to soft peaks first for the absolute best mousse consistency.
2. Consider dialing back on the boozeAlthough the Kahlúa does give this chocolate mousse a uniquely boozy, coffee-infused flavor, I do think Ina's recipe calls for a bit too much. If I were to make this again, I’d probably reduce the Kahlúa amount by half. If you reduce the booze and find that you want more, you could always add some to the whipped cream topping.
3. Serve the mousse in smaller portionsWhile Ina’s recipe says it serves four to five, I think it could easily be divided into six portions. Four servings were extremely generous and quite rich, so it would be easy enough to make this recipe for a larger group without having to actually make more mousse.

A nationwide fan favorite fast food restaurant chain has just announced a major change it is implementing. Steak 'n Shake, which has nearly 400 locations throughout the U.S., shared the news via the social media site X, formerly Twitter, on February 12.
Steak 'n Shake declared it is "removing all microwaves from its restaurants. We expect every unit to be microwave-free by April 15."
The chain's statement continued, "Quality restaurants don't need microwaves. It is part of our journey to improve food quality and use traditional methods of cooking only. Eat Real Food." The tweet concluded with an American flagemoji.
Within a matter of hours, the tweet had accumulated over 50,000 "likes," had been shared over 5,000 times, and received around 1,500 comments.
"I didn't know yall was using microwaves in the first place," one person tweeted.
"Admitting you've been nuking our food for decades while preaching 'Eat Real Food' is the kind of toxic relationship energy I can't resist. See you in 10 minutes," quipped another X user.
Someone else tweeted, "Sweet!! Just curious, what exactly do you currently microwave in the process of making a steakburger, french fries and milshakes?"

The poster indicated that, at least at the Steak 'n Shake location where he had worked, the microwaves were used for mac and cheese, chili dishes, some burger prep, and breakfast prep.
The announcement was posted on the Steak 'n Shake Instagram page, as well. Most of the responses there were positive with people gushing over the chain's food or welcoming the change.
Microwaves aside, there was one customer suggestion that popped up frequently as people responded to the Steak 'n Shake announcement.
"Now if we could order from a real person and not a screen. Much more enjoyable experience when there was table service," one Instagram comment read.
A similar tweet read, "Also, how about bringing back employees to take orders again instead of using kiosks?"

David Boreanaz Takes Iconic Role in NBC’s ‘The Rockford Files’ Remake
The one thing that David Boreanaz is not good at doing is not working. The actor has had back-to-back series on the air since joining the cast of Buffy the Vampire Slayerin 1997, moving from that to Angel to Bones and, most recently, SEAL Team, and now he is adding one of the most sought-after roles of the pilot season to his resumé with the addition of The Rockford Files.
Variety just announced that Boreanaz will be starring in the iconic role of Jim Rockford in NBC’s remake of the series which starred James Garner as the private investigator, whose strapped finances make it necessary for him to live in a rundown trailer in Malibu, Calif.

The official logline for the contemporary remake of The Rockford Files states, “Newly paroled after doing time for a crime he didn’t commit, James Rockford returns to his life as a private investigator using his charm and wit to solve cases around Los Angeles. It doesn’t take long for his quest for legitimacy to land him squarely in the crosshairs of both local police and organized crime.”
The character description goes on to say Rockford is a “witty, world-weary and chronically broke private investigator whose charmingly gruff exterior masked a strong moral core.”
The original series, which premiered in 1974, won five Primetime Emmy Awards, including one for Garner as Lead Actor in 1977.

The pilot will film in Atlanta and in Los Angeles.
The Rockford Files, which aired on NBC from 1974-1980 and then as six made-for-TV movies on CBS, comes from writer Mike Daniels, producers Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly and Universal Television and will air on NBC and Peacock.

Disqualified Ukrainian Olympic Athlete Vladylsav Heraskevych Says 'Some Things Are 'More Important Than Medals'
Ukrainian skeleton racer Vladyslav Heraskevych was disqualified from competing in the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics after refusing to remove a custom helmet he planned to wear that honored Ukrainian athletes and coaches killed during Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The helmet, known as the "helmet of remembrance," featured portraits of more than 20 fallen compatriots—a tribute Heraskevych described as deeply personal and symbolic.
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation concluded that the helmet violated the Olympic Charter's prohibition on political statements or demonstrations on the field of play, and they asked Heraskevych to either change his equipment or adopt alternatives.
Heraskevych, however, stood his ground.
"They were killed, but their voice is so loud that the IOC is afraid of them," he wrote in an Instagram post. "I am convinced that we did not violate any IOC rules (the infamous Rule 50), and therefore we have every right to wear this helmet. Thanks to their sacrifice, we are alive today and can be part of these Olympic Games. And I sincerely believe that it is precisely because of their sacrifice that these Olympic Games can take place at all today. Even though the IOC wants to betray the memory of these athletes, I will not betray them."

Many social media users have begged the question: "How is honoring friends and countrymen who have been killed political?"
Another also asked, "When did honoring the dead become political?" with another agreeing, "Wild that it's a political statement to memorialize your friends and colleagues that were murdered."
Others, however, have added that "Heraskevych made it clear that sport does not exist outside politics and that remaining silent in the face of violence is also a choice."
"If the goal was to draw the world's attention, he achieved something far greater," one Instagram user commented. "Images of the helmet flooded newspapers and social media around the world and showed that the idea of neutrality collapses when basic values such as life, human dignity, and the condemnation of aggression are at stake... And he did so with an impact far greater than he would have achieved by simply competing in a sport that much of the world did not even know existed."
More social media users have expressed frustration surrounding an apparent double standard, as Russian, Israeli, and American athletes, for example, have commemorated fallen athletes and paid tribute to lost loved ones, as well, without disqualification.
Nevertheless, Heraskevych is being hailed as a hero and a champion for standing up for human rights and lives, even without an Olympic medal.
Don Henley Reveals The Eagles' Darkest Turning Point
Don Henley is reflecting on a turning point that nearly brought the Eagles to a permanent halt.
During a recent appearance on CBS Sunday Morning, Henley looked back on the aftermath of Glenn Frey’s death in 2016 and admitted there was a period when he wasn’t sure the band would continue at all.
“When Glenn passed, we didn’t know what to do,” Henley said, describing the weight of losing his longtime friend and co-founder.

Frey’s son, Deacon Frey, later joined the touring lineup, creating what Henley described as a sense of continuity during a difficult transition.

Henley said the band would not have continued without the support of Glenn Frey’s family, and that bringing Deacon into the lineup was about preserving the spirit of what they had built together. Since then, the Eagles have continued to tour to sold-out crowds, though Henley has also hinted that the band’s current run may eventually come to an end.

A counselor and coach for couples, individuals and families, Feinberg has put together some expert advice for you and your partner to think about if you are considering making such a life-altering transition.

There isn't a hard-and-fast timeline for moving in together. The most important wait, according to Feinberg, is however long it takes for you to really get to know your partner before cohabitating and exploring the way you each handle conflict. "That can take some time," she tells Parade. "It can help couples a lot to slow things down. The beginning of a relationship is usually free of conflict since you might feel in love or not really see things as clearly. Things can feel wonderful and easy. However, what happens when each person feels hurt, angry, disappointed, etc.?"
Knowing how your other half will respond to a disagreement—or an all-out fight—is vital to the overall success of a relationship. "It will help to wait to get to know one another and take your time in this way," she says.

"Assuming a couple has taken some time to understand how effectively they handle conflict, it is good to talk about expectations," Feinberg suggests.
Feinberg adds that an open discussion about what to expect when living together should include finances and who will handle what household chores, but it is imperative to have honest conversations about intimacy and other responsibilities as well. Be sure to set parameters about what kind of personal space you will or won't need to thrive in the relationship, be understanding and mindful about what will please your partner or set them off and be honest about your pet peeves and how you might react to the other person's idiosyncrasies.

Feeling emotionally secure with your partner (and vice versa) is a good indicator that you are ready to live together. "The right time might be when both people feel safe enough emotionally to express and share concerns and feelings openly," says Feinberg. "That will reduce fear and give a couple more confidence they can handle potential issues that come up when moving in together—and in general."

Jumping into sharing the same living space before you truly get to know your partner can absolutely damage a budding relationship, cautions Feinberg. This circles back to her warning that it is crucial to know how you communicate strong emotions like hurt, anger or disappointment with each other when you have a fight.
What's more, how you reconcile a disagreement as a couple is equally important. Being able to successfully establish respectful boundaries, reach a compromise or get past the surface argument to the bottom of the real issue behind why you are fighting are all positive signs that you and your partner have the tools to fight in a healthy way.
"If you can't resolve issues effectively when they come up—and haven't had practice at this—then it can cause relationship 'ruptures' that may not be easily repaired," Feinberg warns.

When you are able to feel safe enough emotionally and communicate effectively when challenging issues arise, you and your partner might be ready to co-sign a lease, says Feinberg.
However, there are other key factors to keep in mind as well when it comes to deciding if you are ready to share a bathroom with the love of your life. For instance, you should both agree about what the future holds for you as a couple—whether that is getting married or not. It's also important that you don't approach living together as a band-aid for problematic behavior, such as a lack of trust in your partner.
"Have realistic expectations of one another," Feinberg notes. "Lastly, if you feel consistently connected and secure, you might be ready to move in together."

Katie Couric Calls Out 'Inappropriate' Comments About Catherine O'Hara's Death
Katie Couric is giving one social media user a piece of her mind.
The journalist and former Today show anchor recently came across a post on Threads from someone theorizing about the death of Catherine O'Hara, who died unexpectedly last month at the age of 71—and Couric simply wasn't having it.
Just days after O'Hara's death was confirmed to have been the result of a pulmonary embolism, one user spoke out online to question the actress' death certificate, despite having no evidence or scientific reasoning to back up their claim.
The post read: "We wonder if Hollywood star Catherine O'Hara was vaccinated against covid. She died of an apparent embolism. This sounds like the symptom of many covid19 vaccine deaths. Unfortunately, we'll never know for sure as her body was cremated."
Couric then took it upon herself to directly call out the person who posted the misleading and speculative message, writing in reply, "This is a gross, disgusting and inappropriate post."
"Wish there was a vaccine for stupidity," she added.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office already determined that O'Hara's immediate cause of death was a pulmonary embolism, while underlying causes included a blood clot in the lungs and rectal cancer.
