Everything We Know About Ilia Malinin—From Dating Details to His Olympian Parents
If there's one Olympic athlete who has us glued to our TV, it's Ilia Malinin. On February 8, 2026, the 21-year-old figure skater—nicknamed "Quad God"—helped USA clinch gold in the figure skating team event, which was also his Olympic debut.
But despite all of the attention from reporters, Malinin quickly shifted the focus to his teammates. "It really came down to the energy, the support, the passion from my whole team, supporting me, cheering me on," he said after the event. "I really went out there and just decided, 'Okay, let the nerves down. You just really need to get into that zone and just let things happen.' And I'm proud of myself and proud of my team for all the work they've put into this. Without each other, we wouldn't have gotten this medal."
Two days later—on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026—Ilia returned to the ice for the Men's Short Program. It's basically the "first half" of the main event: While the scores are a huge deal, they’ll be combined with Friday's Free Skate scores to determine who walks away with the Olympic medals. Malinin skated to the "The Lost Crown" from the Prince of Persia game soundtrack and proved exactly why he is the favorite for individual gold. He finished the day in first place with a massive score of 108.16, beating out Japan's Yuma Kagiyama and setting himself up for Friday's free skate.
But while he's absolutely crushing it on the ice, everyone wants to know about Ilia's life off the ice. From his current relationship status to why he uses his mom's last name, here's everything we know about Ilia Malinin.

Does Ilia Malinin have a girlfriend? No, he's single by choice because he wants to put all of his energy and focus onto the Olympics. That means the only girls he's cuddling with are his two cats—Mysti and Miu Miu. "My cats can be very funny," he told Vulture. "They’re very chaotic at times, and they just run around at midnight while I’m trying to sleep. They jump into my room and start running around, jumping on the bed, jumping on things."
Is Ilia Malinin Russian? No, Ilia Malinin is American. He was born in Fairfax, Virginia, and has lived in the U.S. his entire life. Ilia's parents—Tatiana Malinina and Roman Skorniakov—were born in Russia and represented Uzbekistan in the 1998 and 2002 Winter Olympics. Does Ilia Malinin have TikTok?Yes, he does—and we love that he uses his platform to speak out about mental health. In one profound post, he writes, "In the age of the internet expansion, the role social media plays on mental health includes correlations of heightened anxiety, depression, loneliness, thoughts of self-harm, poor sleep quality, increased levels of psychological distress, and lower life satisfaction. The virtual world can be noisy, isolating, and cruel."
He continues, "Figure skating brings the extraordinary ability to connect deeply with an audience, both live and online. But a dark side emerges from the digital animosity masked as harmless opinion. As a byproduct of social media hostility, self-doubt fills the human mind. Self-hatred fills the human mind. All elite athletes and artists under a spotlight experience this in some capacity, yet may be fearful to speak out. But this part of reality needs to be uncovered too. Spread the word."

He first landed it in September 2022, shocking the skating world and earning the nickname "Quad God." While skating legends have attempted it, no one else has rotated and landed it cleanly in a sanctioned event.

Why does Ilia Malinin have his mother's last name?Ilia's parents were concerned that his dad's last name—Skorniakov—would be too difficult for Americans to pronounce, so they decided to give Ilia his mother's last name. No typos here: While her last name is Malinina, they changed it to the masculine version—Malinin—in Ilia's case.
How does Ilia Malinin pronounce his name?During interviews, Ilia pronounces his name "MA-li-nin." The emphasis is usually placed on the first syllable and the last two syllables rhyming with linen.
Is Ilia Malinin a natural blonde?Yes! But he also gets highlights that take his locks to platinum blonde.

Recall Issued for Chips Ahoy! Treats After Reported Mixing Issue
Make sure to always check your snack stash before diving in, especially when it comes to cookies. Recently, I had to give my Chips Ahoy! treats a second look. If you've been grabbing these sweet treats, pay attention because some products are part of a new recall that you need to know about.
Mondelēz Global recently expanded its voluntary recall of certain Chips Ahoy! Baked Bites Brookie products. The expansion adds a new code date and a couple more UPCs to the original recall announced in late December 2025. This is being done out of caution after a mixing issue caused small clumps of corn starch to form in the cookies. While no injuries or illnesses have been reported, these clumps could pose a choking hazard for young children, older adults or anyone with difficulty swallowing.
Which Chips Ahoy! Products Are AffectedTarget
The recall only includes specific Baked Bites Brookie products with certain best-by dates. These include:
- 22.4-ounce Baked Bites Brookie 8-count caddie with best when used by dates May 9, 10, 11, 12, 2026
- 2.8-ounce Baked Bites Brookie pouch with best when used by dates May 9, 10, 11, 12, 2026
- 7-ounce Baked Bites Brookie 5-count with best when used by dates May 10, 12, 18, 2026
- 1.4-ounce Baked Bites Brookie pouch with best when used by dates May 10, 12, 18, 2026
No other Chips Ahoy! or Mondelēz products are affected. These specific items were distributed to a limited number of retailers nationwide, so it's worth double-checking your pantry before enjoying a snack.

What You Should DoIf you have any of the recalled Chips Ahoy! Baked Bites Brookie, do not eat them. The safest options are to either throw them away or return them to the place of purchase. Consumers with questions can contact Mondelēz Global directly at 1-855-535-5948 Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. EST. The company and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration are working together to make sure this recall is communicated clearly and efficiently.
While recalls can feel stressful, it's worth taking a minute to check your cookies to keep yourself and your family safe. This situation is a good reminder that even our favorite sweet treats sometimes need a second glance before enjoying. By staying aware and following the recall instructions, you can still enjoy snack time safely.

'90s Folk Icon Announced as 2026 Headliner for 36th Annual Music Festival
The 36th annual Rocky Mountain Folks Festival is officially taking shape and organizers are leaning into nostalgia and legacy in a big way.
This week, the festival announced that Ani DiFranco, one of the most influential folk voices to emerge in the 1990s, will headline the 2026 edition of the event. The booking positions DiFranco as the marquee name for a festival that has spent more than three decades spotlighting socially conscious songwriting, acoustic traditions, and boundary-pushing artists.
DiFranco rose to prominence in the early '90s as a fiercely independent artist, founding her own label, Righteous Babe Records, and building a devoted following through relentless touring and deeply personal songwriting. Over the course of her career, she has released more than 20 studio albums and earned a reputation for blending folk, punk, and political commentary in ways that reshaped the genre for a new generation.
The 2026 Rocky Mountain Folks Festival lineup also includes a diverse slate of performers, pairing established acts with emerging talent to reflect the evolving landscape of folk and Americana music. Additional artists announced for the festival include Jesse Welles, Junior Brown, Steve Poltz, and Valerie June, underscoring the event’s continued commitment to both tradition and discovery.
Now entering its 36th year, the Folks Festival has become a fixture on the folk calendar, known for its intimate atmosphere and emphasis on lyrical storytelling. Organizers have described the 2026 lineup as a celebration of the genre's past, present, and future, making DiFranco's headlining slot a natural fit.
The Rocky Mountain Folks Festival runs from Aug. 7 to Aug. 9, 2026 in Lyons, Colorado. Tickets and camping passes are on sale now via Planet Bluegrass, and the event is for all ages. More details, including the full daily schedules, are expected to be announced in the coming months, but for longtime fans, the headliner reveal alone signals that the 2026 edition is shaping up to be a standout year.
Stop Asking 'What’s My Passion?'—Ask Yourself This Instead
In childhood, most of us were asked what we'd want to be when we grew up. We might have thought about how we enjoyed spending our time, or what we were naturally gifted at. We might've had a quick answer ready, or felt overwhelmed by the endless possibilities.
Well into adulthood, many individuals return to a similar line of questioning: How can I find my passion? After all, surely there must be more to these endless days of bills, meetings and laundry, right? What's my passion, anyway?
But Bill Burnett and Dave Evans, Stanford professors (the visionaries behind Stanford’s Life Design Lab) and authors of How to Live a Meaningful Life: Using Design Thinking to Unlock Purpose, Joy, and Flow Every Day, say that this particular question is the wrong one to ask yourself if you're looking for fulfillment.
"Research says that 80% of people can’t identify one singular passion," Burnett and Evans tell Parade. "And passion isn’t discovered first—it’s built over time through action, curiosity and engagement. Waiting to 'find' it keeps people stuck."
Below, the New York Times bestselling authors of Designing Your Life reveal the question(s) you should ask yourself instead of "What's my passion?" Plus, they warn against five common mistakes people make when trying to live more intentionally.
Related: I Can't Stop Thinking About This Happiness Hack From Denmark
The Question You Should Ask Yourself Instead of 'What's My Passion?'According to Burnett and Evans, "Ask 'What am I curious about enough to try next?' or 'What small experiments, prototypes, can I run to see what gives me energy?'"
It's about looking at life with an inquisitive lens and taking measurable steps to find the right path.
That being said, if you're someone who currently feels discouraged and stuck because you lack purpose or passion, don't lose heart.
"You’re not broken—you’re overthinking instead of prototyping," the authors say. "Meaning comes from doing, not from figuring it all out in advance. Start with small, low-risk prototypes, in the world with people, and let clarity follow action."

4 More Questions To Ask Yourself if You're 50+Feelings of dissatisfaction can arise at any moment of life. For people over 50 who are feeling unfulfilled, Burnett and Evans suggest asking themselves the following four questions:
- "What gives me energy and animates me now, not what worked 20 years ago?"
- "What ways of thinking do I want to keep, stop and start?"
- "Where can I contribute to the world—mentorship, service, etc.—using my natural creativity?"
- "What experiments and prototypes am I curious about and can’t wait to try?"

5 Common Mistakes People Make When Trying To Live More IntentionallyThere are some common mistakes people make when they're trying to figure out the meaning of their lives. Burnett and Evans encourage you to avoid the following five pitfalls:
- "Trying to think [your] way to clarity – insight comes from experience, not rumination.
- Believing there’s one 'right' life or purpose – we all have more than one life in us and there are multiple good lives available, stop looking for the unattainable 'perfect' one.
- Overcommitting too big, too early – set the bar low, prototype with what’s available, focus on learning and adaptability.
- Ignoring energy and engagement signals – meaning shows up as being absorbed and in the flow world.
- Confusing productivity with meaning – A busy life isn’t the same as a well-designed, meaningful one."

Jennifer Garner's Winter Olympics Video Is Taking Home Gold Online
Jennifer Garner is giving new meaning to the phrase "going for gold," with a little help from her kitchen.
The actress proved you don't need fancy and expensive equipment to have Olympic-level fun in a video shared on social media that's making fans love her even more than they already did.
The 13 Going on 30 actress became the internet's favorite Olympian, armed with a baking sheet and a snowy hill.
In a video upload titled "My Submission for Team USA 2026," she carved out a new competitive sport for herself, submitting "baking sheet sledding" for "your consideration."
"Baking sheets come in handy anywhere," she said as she stood on the hill, bundled up in a black winter jacket.
She then proved her point true, using the baking sheet in place of a sled to go down the hill, sort of. It wasn't graceful, and she didn't get very far, but she did have a lot of fun doing it, as evidenced by her enthusiastic smile at the end.
With the video set to 'Olympic Fanfare and Theme' by Berliner Philharmoniker, she even struck a triumphant pose at the end, arms raised in victory.
The 53-year-old even revealed who was cheering her on in the clip, writing, "(Thank you to the very sweet ladies in Central Park who let me join their fun 🛷☃️)."
Fans were delighted with her Olympic spoof, declaring that her outdoor endeavor earned her the gold online, writing, "I’m here for it go team JG 🔥🔥," as another expressed, "Jennifer goes for the GOLD!! 🏆🥇🏆🥇👏."
One called it "Priceless absolutely hilarious 👏🏻😎," with many emphasizing that it fits her wholesome vibe, as one noted, "Stay a kid at heart Ms. Garner. We live through your fun."
Others suggested that they "used cafeteria trays in college. ❤️," as another echoed, "This is a big thing on college campuses too ❤️."
Students have long borrowed cafeteria trays to slide down snowy campus slopes in a practice known as 'traying,' according to On Wisconsin Magazine. Other popular DIY sled alternatives when in a pinch include household items such as trash can lids, laundry baskets, and even air mattresses.
And the most important rule of all? Have fun, just like Garner!
For those who want to catch Garner's latest project, her Apple TV mystery thriller series, The Last Thing He Told Me, it begins streaming on Feb. 20, 2026.
New Forensic Review Reignites Debate Over Kurt Cobain’s Death: ‘This Is a Homicide’
Rock legend Kurt Cobain died more than 30 years ago, deeply shaking every Nirvana fan to their core. The cause that has long been accepted was suicide.
Today, however, new research, led by forensic specialists Bryan Burnett and Michelle Wilkins, is challenging that determination.
We should first note that Burnett and Wilkins are part of an unofficial private sector team of forensic scientists, and we should tread lightly before taking their research as gospel. Their findings, however, “revealed signs inconsistent with an instantaneous gunshot death.”
“This is a homicide,” The Daily Mail reported Burnett to have said. “We’ve got to do something about this.”
Burnett’s peer-reviewed paper explored 10 points of evidence, allegedly suggesting one or more people were present before Cobain’s death. The evidence collected went on to explain that Cobain was forced into a heroin overdose, shot in the head by someone else, then left alone with a forged suicide note.
“It looks like someone staged a movie and wanted you to be absolutely certain this was a suicide,” Wilkins said, referencing the scene.
Evidence she cited to the Daily Mail included organ damage Cobain suffered that could only have happened in an overdose, not a shotgun death. She also cited blood patterns that suggest Cobain’s body was moved.
"The receipt for the gun is in his pocket. The receipt for the shells is in his pocket. The shells are lined up at his feet," she said. "We're supposed to believe he capped the needles and put everything back in order after shooting up three times, because that's what someone does while they're dying. Suicides are messy, and this was a very clean scene."
A spokesperson for the King’s County Medical Examiner’s Office said they worked with local law enforcemnt to determine Cobain's death a suicide, but remain open to revisitng conclusions. The Seattle Police Department, however, is keeping the case closed.
"Our detective concluded that he died by suicide, and this continues to be the position held by this department," a spokesperson for the department said, per the Daily Mail.
View this post on InstagramOn April 5, 1994, an electrician found Cobain dead in his Seattle home. Authorities found a suicide note nearby. It was later concluded he died by suicide. He was 27 years old.
According to AOL, much of Cobain's estate was passed on to his daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, whom he shared with Hole lead singer Courtney Love.
Today, Frances is a visual artist and model.
I Tried Martha Stewart's Mom's Meatloaf, and It Tastes Like My Childhood
When it comes to meatloaf, most people prefer how they used to eat it growing up. Each meatloaf recipe is slightly different, and if it was your family's go-to comfort food, you probably had it the exact same way as a kid over and over. Martha Stewart is no exception.
She's shared the meatloaf recipe from her mom, Martha Kostyra (aka "Big Martha"), on her cooking shows and her website many times. According to MarthaStewart.com, Martha's mother regularly made her meatloaf while Martha was growing up. (She usually made it with ground chuck, but sometimes would swap in ground pork.)
So, Martha Stewart's meatloaf is pretty classic, starting with the traditional combo of onion, carrot and celery. Homemade breadcrumbs help lighten the meaty main dish a bit and the whole thing is topped off with a tangy ketchup-based glaze made with ingredients you probably already have in your fridge and pantry. It also makes a generous loaf, which is great for big families and/or people who like to make leftover meatloaf sandwiches.
This personal meatloaf recipe has become a fan favorite with Martha Stewart fans, thanks to its tender texture and delicious classic flavor. So, naturally, I had to try it myself. Meatloaf isn't a common food in my house these days, so I was curious to see how my family would react. Read on for all of the juicy details about what happened when I made Big Martha's meatloaf recipe in my kitchen.

Martha's mom's meatloaf has quite the following. "This is a delicious meatloaf. We loved all of the flavors in it," one person wrote in the online reviews. "My go-to recipe...always a huge hit with my family!" added another. A fellow fan called it the "best meatloaf E.V.E.R," adding, "my son loves it, my friends and their kids request it all the time. Flavorful, chock-full of vegetables, easy, moist....what's there not to like?"
Plenty of people chimed in with their own recipe tweaks. "The best I've ever made! I add ground turkey," one shared. Another fan revealed they add pork sausage, while someone else mentioned putting caramelized red onions on top, which sounds delicious.
All in all, though, meatloaf lovers really dig this recipe.

Bake the meatloaf until an instant-read thermometer registers 160°F when inserted in the middle of the loaf, which the recipe says should take about 90 minutes (more on that later). Before closing the oven, place a baking sheet on the rack below the meatloaf to catch any drips.

My Honest Thoughts About This MeatloafI haven't had meatloaf in years, and this was a total throwback to when my mom would whip it up on a busy weeknight. The taste is a classic, but Big Martha's recipe has a few twists for a slightly different flavor than most.
Courtesy Korin Miller
The taste of parsley comes through (in a good way), and the glaze adds a nice, sweet tang. But, of course, the glaze is only on top. In order to have that flavor throughout, you need to be strategic about your bites.
I cooked the meatloaf for the recommended 90 minutes, but it may have been too much time in the oven. While the meatloaf was delicious, it was on the drier side. Martha's mom's recipe recommends making sure the meatloaf is cooked to at least 160 degrees—mine said 190 degrees after 90 minutes. Yikes! That's something I need to keep an eye on in the future.
There's also a lot of everything in here: 2.5 pounds of meat, a cup of ketchup, three teaspoons of dried mustard, so make sure you have plenty of all of your ingredients in stock before starting this recipe. That said, also know that you probably will have leftovers, which is something I personally love.
What I appreciated the most was how easy this was to pull together. If you know you have a busy day coming up, you can prep this in advance and stick it in the oven when dinnertime is looming. And, of course, there's the nostalgia factor. What's not to love?

3 Tips for Making the DishAfter making this meatloaf in my kitchen, I have a few thoughts to share.
1. Keep an eye on itIt's easy to overcook meatloaf, and the recommended 90 minutes seemed a little too long to me. Have your meat thermometer ready and check on the loaf after an hour or so to make sure you don't go too far above the 160°F suggestion.
2. Play with the toppingsThe meatloaf provides a nice base, but you can really go to town with mix-ins or toppings. Try adding mushrooms or crumbled bacon to the mix or make a barbecue sauce-based glaze to go on top.
3. Let it restIf you try to slice the loaf before it's had a chance to cool, those slices could fall apart. Let it rest for 15 minutes or so before slicing and serving.

Law Enforcement Believes Nancy Guthrie's Kidnapper Is From Tucson
UPDATE: An individual has been detained in connection with the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie in Rio Rico, Arizona — roughly 60 miles south of Tucson.
Law enforcement officials reportedly believe Nancy Guthrie's kidnapper is from the Tuscon area, according to TMZ.
According to multiple law enforcement sources, the outlet claims, the current theory is that the alleged ransom notes were written by the kidnapper — and that they may contain clues to their whereabouts.
The exact wording of the ransom notes have not been released. However, the first ransom email received by local outlet KOLD allegedly demanded $4 million in Bitcoin by Thursday, Feb. 5 in exchange for Nancy’s safe return and $6 million by Monday, Feb. 9 if the first demand was not met.
KOLD also reported that the ransom note threatened serious consequences if the second deadline passed without payment. The initial ransom note was sent to KOLD, a second Tucson TV station, and TMZ.

On Friday, Feb. 6, a second ransom note was sent only to KOLD, who kept the details private out of respect for the family.
Because of who the ransom notes were sent to, law enforcement sources told TMZ they believe the writer was familiar with local TV stations, suggesting they may live in the Tucson area.
The abductor also allegedly promised to return Nancy to Tucson within 12 hours of receiving the $6 million ransom, meaning they would have to be within a 700-mile radius of the city.
On Tuesday, Feb. 10, the FBI released photos and videos of the alleged kidnapper that were taken by a camera on Nancy Guthrie's front door the morning of her disappearance on Feb. 1.
The FBI urges anyone with tips or leads to call 1-800-CALL-FBI in addition to the Pima County Sheriff’s Office number, 520-351-4900. A $50,000 reward is currently being offered to anyone with information leading to Nancy or the arrest of her kidnapper.
Nancy Guthrie is described as 5-foot-5 and 150 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.
'All My Children' Legend Susan Lucci Makes Candid Confession About Working With A-List Star
Soap icon Susan Lucci is looking back on the time when she worked with one of Hollywood’s now hottest stars,Michael B. Jordan, on All My Children.
Lucci was part of the ABC soap for the show’s entire run as Erica Kane from 1970 until it was canceled in 2011. Jordan got his acting break on All My Children, where he played Reggie Montgomery from 2003 to 2006.
On the recent episode ofBeverly Hills, 90210 star Jennie Garth’s podcast, I Choose Me, Lucci opened up about working with the Academy Award nominee. Garth kicked things off by mentioning some of the big stars that were on All My Children.
Two names that came up were Jordan and Amanda Seyfried, who both went on to have stellar careers. They were each nominated for Golden Globe Awards this year, and Jordan is nominated for an Oscar.
View this post on InstagramLucci revealed she remembered working with Jordan more because he played the stepson of the man Lucci’s character was involved with at the time.
“Michael B. Jordan. Really, Michael. Because Michael was the stepson of Jack Montgomery, and Erica and Jack had a long, long romantic history together. And so, I was working with Michael ... numerous times during the week. And he was 16,” she recalled.

The soap star went on to gush about Jordan as an actor and a human being, especially given how young he was at the time.
“Michael B. Jordan was 16 when he began on All My Children. I would just tell you, he was always so wonderful to work with. He was prepared, he was on time, he was committed, he was sweet, he was respectful to everyone around him — cast, crew, producers, everybody, you name it. But not nauseously so, you know, not phony baloney. He was authentically who he was. He was a genuinely terrific young man,” Lucci expressed.
Jordan wasn’t on All My Children very long, but his time on the soap made a significant impact on him as an actor. As Parade reported, Jordan revealed he learned about work ethic on the ABC soap.
Lucci is currently making the press rounds to promote her second memoir, La Lucci. The book focuses on the actress' time on All My Children, her life after the soap, and the loss of her husband, Hulmet Huber, who died in March 2022.

'EastEnders' Tackles Epilepsy With New Nugget Gulati Story
EastEnders has announced a new issue-led storyline, with one of the BBC soap’s central younger characters set to be diagnosed with epilepsy.
Upcoming episodes of the BBC soap will see Davinder “Nugget” Gulati (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) diagnosed with epilepsy following medical test prompted by his recent head trauma.
During the February 9, 2026 episode of the soap opera, viewers saw Nugget experience his first seizure after suffering several spells of disorientation and confusion since returning home from hospital last month.
As the storyline continues and further testing is carried out, Nugget is diagnosed with epilepsy, setting him on a challenging and emotional journey as he learns to manage the condition and adjust to its impact on his daily life.
The BBC soap is working closely with the Epilepsy Society to raise awareness and ensure the story is portrayed accurately and as sensitively as possible.
EastEnders Executive Producer, Ben Wadey, emphasized the importance of handling the storyline with care. “We are committed to portraying Nugget’s journey authentically and with sensitivity, so have sought advice from Epilepsy Society to ensure an accurate representation of the challenges a young person may face following their diagnosis”.
Clare Pelham, Chief Executive at Epilepsy Society also highlighted the importance of the storyline. “One in 100 people has epilepsy, yet many keep it hidden because of stigma. That’s why we were delighted when EastEnders asked for our advice on portraying Nugget’s epilepsy story accurately,” Pelham explained. “EastEnders has a powerful record of tackling tough issues. By showing what seizures are really like and how to support someone with epilepsy, Nugget’s story can spark conversations, reduce stigma, and help bring the condition out of the shadows”.
Over the years EastEnders has tackled various issue based storylines ranging from alcoholism, depression, teen pregnancy, to domestic abuse and drug addiction. Often partnering with third party organizations to ensure the storylines are handled with care.
EastEnders streams Mondays through Thursdays on BBC One in the UK and on BritBox in the United States.

Congressman Sparks Outrage as He Calls for Investigation into Bad Bunny's 'Pure Smut' Halftime Show
Fans are rushing to Bad Bunny's defense after a U.S. Congressman called for a formal investigation into his halftime performance at Super Bowl LX.
Bad Bunny's history-making performance at Sunday night's game has certainly drawn a significant amount of criticism—including a harsh review from Donald Trump—but one Tennessee lawmaker is taking his disapproval to the next level.
On Monday, Feb. 9, U.S. representative Andy Ogles requested a "formal congressional inquiry" into NBC and the NFL for their "prior knowledge, deliberate approval and facilitation" of what Ogles described as an "indecent broadcast" and "pure smut."
Ogles claimed in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that the performance included "explicit displays of gay sexual acts, women gyrating provocatively, and Bad Bunny shamelessly grabbing his crotch while dry-humping the air."
"And if that weren't outrageous enough," he continued, "the performance's lyrics openly glorified sodomy and countless other unspeakable depravities."
"These flagrant, indecent acts are illegal to be displayed on public airways," Ogles added.
"That's why I am requesting that the Energy and Commerce Committee launch a formal congressional inquiry," Ogles announced, while insisting, "American culture will not be mocked or corrupted without consequence."

— Rep. Andy Ogles (@RepOgles) February 9, 2026But many fans of the Puerto Rican rapper and singer quickly came to his defense in response to Ogles' claims, including one user who said Sunday night's performance was "nothing but a big happy party with a positive message of love and unity."

"Were you watching the wrong halftime show???" someone else wanted to know.
"This is reading like 1960s-era thinking. Of all the things you could focus on, this should be at or near the bottom of your list," another user pointed out, while many others agreed Ogles' request is a "waste of time and government resources."
One user posed the questions, "Does Andy think this is a good use of tax payer money? This is a serious issue facing citizens?"

9 Best Tubing Mascaras, Tested by Celebrity Makeup Artists
Parade aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.
The technological advances in makeup mean we don't have to put on the same stuff we wore in high school and hope for the best. Tubing mascara is such a game-changer in the beauty space. Not only is it often easier to apply and easier to take off than traditional mascara, but it can actually be a more skin- and eye-friendly choice, according to celebrity makeup artists. Parade spoke with four of them about the best tubing mascaras, and how to apply and remove the product for the most optimal results.
Kasey Spickard is a celebrity makeup artist in New York City who's worked with stars like Summer House's Ciara Miller. Jenepher Reynolds is the founder of the Jenn of Arch beauty brand and has worked with Norah Jones, among others. Natalia Malova is a New York makeup artist who's styled for fashion runways, Vogue covers and more. And as the co-founder of Glossed Finishing Studio and founder of The Bridal Beauty Team, Kate Johnson has worked with the Love Is Blindcast and more.
When it comes to tubing mascaras, all four of these makeup artists are big fans. Spickard notes how gentle the product can be for your lashes—especially on removal, since most formulas don't require a ton of scrubbing or harsh makeup removers.
If you want to make the switch from regular mascara to a tubing variety, these are the tried-and-tested brands to check out.

"Tubing mascara is a unique formula that uses polymers to wrap each individual lash in water-resistant tubes, rather than just coating them in wax and pigment like most mascaras," says Reynolds. She adds that the formula is engineered to help prevent smudging or flaking, and it's designed to easily slide off when you apply warm water to remove your makeup.

Spickard says you can apply a tubing mascara the same way you would a traditional one—they both come with similar applicator wands.
"Start at the roots and gently wiggle the wand upward through the lashes," adds Malova. She says you should apply it in light layers to achieve your desired look, explaining, "Tubing mascaras work best when you build them slowly rather than piling on too much at once."

According to Reynolds, tubing mascara can actually be "a better option" than traditional mascara, because there's less flaking or smudging that can irritate sensitive eyes. "It's also more gentle than waterproof mascara which can cause dryness and breakage of the lashes if used everyday," she adds.
She says you can even use tubing mascara on lash extensions because "it doesn’t break down the adhesive."
How To Remove Tubing MascaraReynolds says you can usually remove tubing mascara easily with just warm water.
"Splash your lashes or hold a warm, damp cloth over your eyes for a few seconds," she says, adding, "No rubbing or makeup remover needed."

Malova says this product "changed everything" when it was released. "It was one of the first true tubing formulas that makeup artists everywhere relied on because it didn't smudge, flake or transfer, and it removed cleanly with warm water."
Blinc introduced the product in 1995, according toNew Beauty. "To this day, it’s still a reference point for what a proper tubing mascara should do," says Malova.

Both Reynolds and Spickard picked this mascara for its lengthening properties. "It's right in the name: Liquid Lash Extensions, because it does just that," says Spickard. Reynolds adds that it doesn't budge when worn and "gives noticeable length ... for everyday wear and special occasions."
3. Best for Short Lashes: Hourglass Unlocked Instant Extension Mascara, $34Amazon
"The slim brush gets right to the base of shorter lashes and grabs even the tiniest ones," says Reynolds, adding, "It creates length without heaviness."
4. Best Drugstore: L'Oreal Paris Makeup Double Extend Tubing Mascara, $15Ulta
This two-step formula is designed with a nourishing and strengthening base coat that you then top with the lengthening formula. Reynolds says she likes this drugstore option because it's affordable but "performs just as well as many high-end options."
5. Best for Sensitive Eyes: Clinique Lash Power Tubing Mascara, $27Amazon
Reynolds says this mascara is "a great option if your eyes are easily irritated." According to the product description, it's ophthalmologist-tested for sensitive eyes and designed so even those with contact lenses can wear it.
6. Best Smudge-Resistant: Tarte Tartelette Tubing Mascara, $28Amazon
Recommended by both Malova and Spickard, this mascara is designed to stay put. Spickard calls it "one of my favorites," adding, "It resists transfer and smudging all day."
7. Best for Definition: Kevyn Aucoin The Curling Mascara, $32Amazon
Malova recommends this as a makeup artist favorite, saying, "It gives great definition and hold without looking heavy."
8. Best Non-Clumping: Milk Makeup KUSH High Roll Tubing Mascara, $29Amazon
Johnson loves the volume you can get from this mascara. "It delivers lush, dramatic lashes without clumps," she says. She especially loves how the hemp oil acts as a conditioner for your lashes as you wear it.
9. Best Natural: MERIT Clean Lash Lengthening Tubing Mascara, $26Amazon
Malova says this mascara is her go-to "for a softer, more natural look." Johnson also recommends this one, adding that it gives "clean, everyday length ... for that 'no makeup' makeup look that is so popular."

Jamie Campbell Bower Reveals What He Would Change About ‘Stranger Things’ Season 5
During a panel at Nashville Celebrity Comic Con 2026, Vecna/Henry Creel actor Jamie Campbell Bowerdiscussed the end of Stranger Things, including the one thing he would change about the final season.
When asked, "If you could change one thing about Season 5, whether it's your character or somebody else's, what would it be?" Bower quickly answered, "I would have killed everybody." Presumably, Bower was answering from the perspective of his character, Vecna, but the answer earned a laugh from the audience all the same.
@alainapinkneyMissed the @Stranger Things panel at @Nashville Celebrity Comic Con ? Here’s Part One of my BEST OF of #jamiecampbellbower from his Q&A panel with Jake Connelly aka Delightful Derek! Follow for more! #strangerthingsfan #strangerthingsedit #strangerthings #nashvillecelebritycomiccon
♬ Retro Sounds - DreamyBeatsThis question and Bower's response come within the larger context of the controversial conclusion of Stranger Things, which led to such mixed reactions that an entire conspiracy theory, Conformity Gate, was born. Yet, with very few exceptions, the actors have largely stayed away from commenting on either the quality of the finale or the negativity surrounding it.
One major exception would be Dr. Brenner/Papa actor Matthew Modine, who surprisingly revealed that he didn't like the Stranger Things finale in an Instagram comment. Steve Harrington actor Joe Keery didn't weigh in on whether the finale was good, in his view, but he did tell fans to "Let it go."
Outside of those comments, and actors like Caleb McLaughlinand Sadie Sinkaddressing whether they think Eleven is still alive, the Stranger Things stars haven't been all that vocal about the finale, despite the (particularly online) backlash.
Bower's comment, in addition to being funny, was a thoughtful way to navigate this territory, which ultimately didn't give away his personal feelings on the finale one way or the other.
Bower also shared some interesting insight into Henry/Vecna as a character at the same Nashville Celebrity Comic Con panel, revealing that he thinks there is a chance Henry may have had a change of heart and not turned totally evil had Eleven gone with him as he had asked after massacring the Hawkins Lab—although, he said so with a sense of humor, suggesting that Henry and Eleven could have gone to live on an island together.
Bindi Irwin’s Daughter Grace Carries on Mom’s Adventurous Childhood Tradition in Epic New Photo
Grace Warrior is the spitting image of her mom Bindi Irwin — and they even share the same unique special interest! Bindi’s mom Terri Irwin shared a new picture of her 4-year-old granddaughter recreating a picture of Bindi from when she was the same age, and it shows how adventurous this family is.
“I love this so much!” Terri captioned the post on Instagram. “First Bindi when she was little, and now Grace. Why does every kid love to pretend they’re driving a tractor?”
The first snap was taken some time in the early 2000s, as a young Bindi sits in the driver’s seat of a green John Deere tractor at their Australia Zoo home. She is dressed in a light pink shirt and hot pink pants, with a backward baseball cap on her head. She has a big grin as she holds the steering wheel with both heads, seemingly ready to take off and explore.

She looks like an angel in a newer John Deere green tractor, dressed in a blue shirt over pants and a long-sleeve shirt. The wind blows her hair as she smiles and holds the steering wheel, just like her mom once did two decades before. We’re seeing double and it’s pure sweetness!
Bindi commented on the sweet post of her and her daughter, “❤️❤️❤️.” Somebody else wrote, “Girl power! ❤️”
“Because it’s the coolest thing ever 🚜!” another person wrote, responding to Terri’s question in the comments. Hey, no arguments here!
Terri often shares the coolest moments of her only granddaughter, whom Bindi shares with husband Chandler Powell. In one post earlier this month, Terri shared an insight into what it’s like “growing up” at Australia Zoo. Grace looks like a Disney princess in a light pink dress as she handfeeds a kangaroo as the sun rises behind her. It’s like something out of a fairytale.
View this post on InstagramIn a May 2025 interview with Us Weekly, the wildlife conservationist reflected on her life and marriage to the late Steve Irwin. “I feel like I’ve had so much [love] and now in my life, I have so much love,” Terri told the outlet. “I have my wonderful kids. I’m a grandmother now, and I have such a great team around me.”
She added, “My life is very full and very rich and every day, I wish Steve was here, but I’m so lucky.”
