Pop-Tarts Is Getting Its First-Ever Line of Super Stuffed Pastries

Wed, 03/25/2026 - 8:01am

If your favorite part of eating a Pop-Tart is the filling, you're really going to love its new release.

The beloved brand of toaster pastries has dialed into fans' wants and needs, appeasing some with the debut of its higher-protein recipe about five months ago, and now, it's catering to the other half of cravings with a "Super Stuffed" Pop-Tart that's packed with twice the amount of smooth and gooey filling when compared to the original. Sounds too good to be true, doesn't it? Well, the brand says otherwise, noting the creation is only a reality because so many people asked for it.

"Fans of Pop-Tarts have always loved our filling — so much so that they’ve spent years asking for more of it," Leslie Serro, vice president of marketing for Pop-Tarts, part of Mars Snacking, explained in a statement on Wednesday.

"Our all-new Pop-Tarts Super Stuffed toaster pastries deliver exactly that, while upgrading the snacking experience in a Crazy Good way," Serro added, suggesting it's "the ultimate treat bursting with more of what fans love to bring joy and comfort to any moment."

Pop-Tarts Unveils Super Stuffed Toaster Pastries With 50 Percent More Filling Than the Original

Pop-Tarts' new Super Stuffed line takes the toaster pastries fans love and amps up the flavor with even more filling pumped inside the classic pastry. Leaving fans to enjoy the same flaky crust and layer of icing as is expected, just with double the amount of filling inside—and that's not hyperbole.

According to the March 25 press release, Pop-Tarts Super Stuffed toaster pastries are "packed with 50% more filling" when compared to the original Pop-Tarts Frosted Strawberry toaster pastries. Each box contains five individually wrapped toaster pastries.

The New Line Includes 3 Debut Flavors

Pop-Tarts' new Super Stuffed toaster pastries will debut in three flavors inspired by some already popular flavors among fans, including Strawberry Blast, Molten Lava Cake and Cinnamon Caramel.

  • Pop-Tarts Super Stuffed Strawberry Blast: The classic, just super stuffed! Each bite is jam-packed with the sweet and tart strawberry-flavored filling fans love and finished with icing and rainbow sprinkles.
  • Pop-Tarts Super Stuffed Molten Lava Cake: Pure chocolatey heaven in the form of a rich chocolate-flavored pastry that’s been stuffed with an extra-generous dose of fudgy filling and finished with sweet icing.
  • Pop-Tarts Super Stuffed Cinnamon Caramel: This crave-worthy blend of warmth and sweetness features an indulgent, gooey cinnamon-caramel filling wrapped in a cinnamon pastry crust and completed with sweet icing.

So, for those who eat the pastry solely for what's on the inside, Pop-Tarts original line still has one up on the new Super Stuffed packs, and that's simply variety (currently, the brand produces over one dozen flavors of original Pop-Tarts, and that's not counting what's been discontinued).

When and Where Will the New Pop-Tarts Super Stuffed Toaster Pastries Be Released?

The brand expects all three varieties to be on store shelves nationwide this April (prices may vary).

Pop-Tarts Super Stuffed Strawberry Blast and Pop-Tarts Super Stuffed Molten Lava Cake flavors will be available at most major retailers nationwide, wherever Pop-Tarts are sold. However, Pop-Tarts Super Stuffed Cinnamon Caramel will be launching exclusively at Walmart.

‘90s Rocker Discusses Potential Band Breakup Amid 2026 Tour

Wed, 03/25/2026 - 8:00am

Sevendust drummer Morgan Rose gets real about the almost heartbreaking decision the band faced nearly two years ago.

The musician, who was among the original founders alongside bassist and backing vocals Vince Hornsby and rhythm guitarist John Connolly, confessed that they had discussions about stepping away from the music scene as a group.

During his guest appearance on Stan Bicknell’s podcast, the Sevendust member recalled the time when they weren't touring actively.

According to him, there were talks about considering winding things down and possibly retiring as a band.

At the time, they were strongly considering releasing their final album. He also confessed to getting emotional and even “cried a few times thinking about it."

Interestingly, Rose revealed the dramatic change within their plan and instead of calling it quits and gearing up for their farewell tour, Sevendust saw a spark of hope and chose to go all-in.

"And then some other things happened, and we decided, 'You know what? Instead of parking the car here, why don't we just put it all the way into drive, like all the way in, and let's tour harder than we've ever toured and just burn the car out,'” he told Bicknell, as cited by Metal Injection. “Like, 'Let's tackle things that we haven't done.' So that happened. Just overnight, it was a decision that went from 'We're gonna retire' to 'No, no, no. We're gonna actually put the afterburner on now instead.'"

Lo and behold, Sevendust is still alive and kicking and is set to release their 15th studio album, ONE.

View this post on Instagram

Scheduled to drop on May 1 via Napalm Records, this will follow their 2023 album Truth Killer.

On the other hand, Sevendust’s longtime drummer also thanked the fans and the community for their unwavering support.

"We've had so many people that we've met,” Rose said, adding, “The Sevendust community is a very close thing. We did not have the luxury of a major label or the major label money, so we grinded it from the beginning and then got really mistreated in the middle of our career, like horribly mistreated.”

Despite the setbacks and challenges the band faced, the community stood strong by their side and they eventually found a trustworthy ally who could help them get back on track.

“And the people started coming back a little more and more and more, and it just became this thing where it's, like, 'Oh, man. I've known these people from being out there so much.' And when you overtour yourself, you see these people a lot,” he furthered.

In addition to their upcoming album, Sevendust is booked and busy with their U.S. ONE Tour this year.

The tour will kick off on April 16 in Illinois and wrap up in New Jersey on May 23.

Joining them as special guests are the metalcore band Atreyu, rap-metal band Fire From The Gods and hard rock band American Adrenaline.

Nancy Guthrie Update: Savannah Speaks Out in First Interview Since Mom's Abduction

Wed, 03/25/2026 - 7:14am

Savannah Guthrie‘s mom, Nancy Guthrie, is still missing, going on eight weeks after the abduction from her Tucson, Ariz., home—and the Today co-anchor just spoke out in her first interview since her 84-year-old mom's kidnapping.

On Wednesday, March 25, the NBC morning show aired a preview of an interview with Savannah speaking to Hoda Kotb about the ongoing search for Nancy. The full sit-down will air on Thursday, March 26.

"Someone needs to do the right thing," Savannah declared with tears in her eyes and streaming down her face. "We are in agony. We are in agony. It is unbearable."

As the camera panned to Kotb, she too struggled to maintain her composure, as her friend and colleague broke down in front of her.

"And to think of what she went through," Savannah continued. "I wake up every night in the middle of the night, every night. And in the darkness, I imagine her terror. And it is unthinkable. But those thoughts demand to be thought. And I will not hide my face."

The devastated daughter added, "But she needs to come home now."

On March 21, Savannah and her siblings, Annie Guthrie and Camron Guthrie, sent a new public message with a desperate plea to supporters as the search for their mother began Week 8.

“We are deeply grateful for the outpouring from neighbors, friends and the people of Tucson. We are all family now. We continue to believe it is Tucsonans, and the greater southern Arizona community that hold the key to finding resolution in this case,” the message read.

It continued, “Someone knows something. It’s possible a member of this community has information that they do not even realize is significant. We hope people search their memories, especially around the key timelines of January 31 and the early morning hours of February 1, as well as the late evening of January 11.”

Nancy was last seen at her Catalina Foothills home on the evening of Jan. 31. Although the Pima County Sheriff's Department and the FBI have been searching and investigating since Feb. 1, no suspect has been named.

Nancy Guthrie Update: Reporter Says Blood Found Inside Home Matches Disturbing Scene Outside

Wed, 03/25/2026 - 7:14am

A new detail in the search for Nancy Guthrie is raising fresh questions after Ashleigh Banfield shared what she has been told about blood found inside Guthrie’s Arizona home. Speaking on the latest episode of her Drop Dead Serious show, Banfield said a source told her that blood was discovered just inside the front door—and that its pattern may match what investigators previously found outside. The detail, if confirmed, could offer investigators a clearer picture of what unfolded in the moments surrounding Guthrie’s disappearance.

"My source told me on day three that there was blood found inside the home. [A] second source of mine confirmed [there was] definitely blood inside the home. And that second source went further and told me that [when the] deputies arrived...they saw evidence that indicated that they needed to call in a more experienced team like homicide investigators," Banfield continued.

"We were told there was blood in the house, but I could never find out where. Where did those investigators see it?" Banfield said, before sharing that one of her sources gave her a "fascinating piece of data" about that blood.

The former NewsNation reporter said that the blood spatter inside the home appeared in droplets—in a similar pattern to what was seen outside Guthrie's front door. The Pima County Sheriff's Department has confirmed that the blood seen outside was, in fact, a match for Guthrie. She later added that the blood went "over the threshold and out the [front] door."

Authorities believe that at least one person entered Guthrie's home on Jan. 31 or on Feb. 1, taking her from her home in the middle of the night.

Back in mid-February, forensic pathologist Dr. Michael Baden spoke to Fox News Digital about the blood spatter and what he observed from the pattern outside Guthrie's home.

"Nancy Guthrie is bleeding from some area, either the hands or the face,” Baden told the outlet. “The nature of the blood spots with little pale centers or donut shapes are typical for drops that come from the nose or mouth, because they’re mixed with air."

"That means she’s coughing up blood or dripping from the nose. Otherwise, there would be a dripping from a cut from above, possibly from the hands or face," Dr. Baden added.

Guthrie has been missing for eight weeks. Her whereabouts are still unknown.

The ‘Most Beautiful’ Place in America Isn’t Yellowstone, the Grand Canyon, or Sedona—It Isn’t Even Outdoors

Wed, 03/25/2026 - 7:14am

When you think of the most beautiful place in America, your mind probably jumps to sweeping, cinematic landscapes, such as the towering cliffs in Big Sur, the vast expanse of the Grand Canyon, or the geothermal wonders of Yellowstone. These are the places that dominate travel lists and social media feeds for a reason. So when a recent ranking from Time Out crowned a quiet indoor space as one of the most beautiful places, not just in the U.S., but on Earth, it feels very surprising.

The Morgan Library & Museum in New York City is the surprising location that took a top spot on Time Out’s rankings. And honestly? The more you think about it, the more it makes sense.

Took a field trip to @The Morgan Library and Museum to see this gorgeous library #books #library #booklovers

♬ Dove Doll ver. - ♫ A Different Kind of Beauty

Unlike natural landmarks, the Morgan Library offers a kind of beauty that’s intentional, detailed, and deeply human. Originally built between 1902 and 1906 as financier J.P. Morgan’s private library, the space feels less like a museum and more like stepping into a work of art.

Inside, you’ll find soaring ceilings, intricate frescoes, rich wood paneling, and floor-to-ceiling bookshelves filled with rare manuscripts and historic texts. The collection itself includes more than 350,000 objects, from illuminated manuscripts to original literary works.

It’s the kind of place where every inch is thoughtfully designed, not just to impress, but to inspire and that’s what sets it apart from somewhere like Big Sur. While Big Sur’s beauty is raw and untamed, often described as one of the most scenic coastlines in the world , the Morgan Library is controlled, curated, and almost impossibly refined.

Visiting the Morgan Library

Walking into the Morgan Library feels like entering a hidden world tucked inside Manhattan. Despite being in the middle of one of the busiest cities on Earth, the space is quiet, almost reverent.

Visitors can explore both the historic library rooms and modern gallery spaces, which host rotating exhibitions, lectures, and events. There’s also a garden outside, which is a relatively recent addition that adds a softer, more accessible entry point to the experience.

It’s not a massive museum, which is part of its charm. You can spend a couple of hours here without feeling overwhelmed, taking in the architecture, the art, and the sheer atmosphere of the place.

@morganlibrarymuseum

After almost 120 years on view in the East Room of the Morgan’s historic library, Triumph of Avarice, the monumental tapestry that hangs above the fireplace, was removed in August 2025, and transported to the Textile Conservation Laboratory of the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, where it will undergo essential conservation work to help preserve the tapestry for years to come. Purchased by J. Pierpont Morgan, Triumph of Avarice has hung in the East Room ever since the library's completion in 1906. The 12 by 24-foot tapestry has had some conservation work done in 1984, also by St. John the Divine’s Textile Conservation Laboratory. Since then, it has been periodically surface cleaned and small damaged areas have been repaired in situ, but it is now in need of a full restoration. The tapestry will be cleaned using both wet and dry methods, and broken and stressed areas of the wool, silk, and metallic threads will be repaired and stabilized. It will receive a new backing system as well as a new hanging system. The tapestry has been replaced with a replica until the original returns in late 2026/early 2027. ♬ original sound - The Morgan Library and Museum Why It’s Worth It

Natural wonders like Big Sur are undeniably breathtaking, but they’re also expected. You go there knowing you’ll be impressed. The Morgan Library, on the other hand, surprises you. It challenges the idea that beauty has to be vast or outdoors to be meaningful.

There’s something powerful about a place that celebrates knowledge, art, and history with the same level of grandeur we usually reserve for nature. It feels intimate and personal, like beauty you can step into rather than just observe from a distance.

Surprisingly, I have to admit I agree.

It’s very difficult to compare the Morgan Library with places like Yellowstone or Big Sur but I absolutely think the Morgan Library deserves a place on this list. Especially as an avid reader, my own list of the most beautiful places on Earth would be full of stunning libraries.

Not only is the Morgan Library extremely picturesque, but if the question is which place leaves a deeper, more unexpected impression, the Morgan Library makes a strong case.

Jay-Z Reveals the Heartbreaking Moment With Daughter Blue Ivy That Left Him in Tears

Wed, 03/25/2026 - 7:10am

Jay-Zis speaking out. After stepping back from the spotlight for a year to fight a now-dismissed lawsuit, the Brooklyn mogul is revealing the private toll of those public allegations. In a raw sit-down with GQ, the 56-year-old admitted that during his "darkest moment," peace didn't come from a legal win. It came from a sports jersey. "Blue [Ivy] has this jersey with 'Jay-Z' on the back. She put it on one day," Jay-Z told the outlet. "She went to school with the 'Jay' [on her back]. I was just in the corner, like tears coming down. Seriously. To have that, it's priceless," he continued. "People can say that [they 'll always be there for you], but it's very rare that you're going to have to exercise it. And in the darkest moment for me, I got to see those sorts of things."

For a man who built an empire out of the Marcy Houses, the attempt to link him to the Sean "Diddy" Combs investigation in the December 2024 filing felt like a violation of everything he stands for. He notes that even during his roughest years, there were lines you never crossed. "Even when we were doing the worst things, we had those kind of rules. There was a line: no women, no kids. You hear those sayings, but those are the things that I took from the street. We lived and died by that. So it's strict for me, like it meant a lot to me."

"I was really heartbroken by everything that occurred," he said. "We're in a space now where it's almost like consequence is not thought about enough. Because everything is so instant, you know what I'm saying?"

He didn't hold back on the fury he felt, either. "That whole [lawsuit thing], that [expletive] took a lot out of me. I was angry. I haven't been that angry in a long time, uncontrollable anger. You don't put that on someone—that's a thing that you better be super sure."

The timing of the news felt calculated, dropping the night the family gathered for the Los Angeles premiere of Mufasa: The Lion KingBlue Ivy’s major film debut. The cameras caught a polished family on the red carpet, but behind the scenes, Jay-Z was grappling with the headlines and a firm refusal to take the easy way out.

"First of all, first I had to tell my wife. Let's back up. I know the weight that this is going to bring on our family. I can't do it. I would die," he said of his decision not to settle. Paying to make a problem go away wasn't an option while his children were watching. He even called up his partners at LVMH to tell them he was digging in his heels. "If I settled—make that thing go away. And for me, it would've been cheaper? Yes. Cheaper, quicker, move on with your life. I knew what was coming. I wasn't naive."

With the legal battles behind him and a defamation countersuit in motion, the man who once famously rapped about being a "business, man" has a new metric for success. These days, he's less worried about the boardroom and more focused on the morning school run.

"It gives everything meaning, everything," he said about his daily life with wife Beyoncé and children Blue, Rumi, and Sir. "I'll go cross-country, do what I have to do, and I'm back on the plane that night. I love taking them to school. I love picking them up. Everything means so much more."

Best Quince Spring Travel Essentials to Look Polished and Stay Comfy on Trips

Parade aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.

With a once-a-month travel schedule covering every type of climate, scanning the Quince app for new drops has pretty much become a daily ritual. When the notification hit that their spring collection had arrived, I immediately went looking for the pieces that embody the perfect travel staple: lightweight, layerable and capable of pulling double duty in a carry-on.

From water-repellent layers for unpredictable April showers to the return of their viral linen, these are the best spring Quince travel essentials to add to your cart this season.

Related: Quince is Dropping a Limited-Edition Color of Its Most Famous Carry-On

The ‘It’ Layer: Water-Repellent Windbreaker Jacket

Quince

This is the standout of the season. It offers a lightweight, breathable and water-repellent barrier for wet weather, but the monochromatic fabric and matching hardware give it a high-fashion edge. I’m already planning on packing this for an upcoming trip to Disneyland Paris to handle those mid-ride spring showers without sacrificing the "look."

The Dinner Essential: Organic Cotton Knit Blazer

Quince

While not technically new, this super-soft blazer is back in six colors and is the ultimate "casual, but not too casual" layer. The structured fit and cropped sleeves make it incredibly chic when thrown over a crisp shirt or a simple dress for dinner. At this price point, it’s an unbeatable way to look polished without the stiffness of a traditional blazer.

The Port-Day Uniform: European Linen Shirt Dress

Quince

I already swear by the pinstripe and black versions for Mediterranean cruise excursions, and now it’s back in spring-ready shades like sky blue mariner stripe and flax. It’s the definition of an "easy" piece—highly polished for a day in port but breathable enough for a long walk through the city.

The Capsule Core: Mongolian Cashmere Crewneck

Quince

This is the base of my travel capsule because of its sheer versatility (it even works as a chic wraparound scarf). This season’s upgrade features pill-resistant cashmere in beautiful muted tones like pale custard yellow and elk brown. It’s a year-round staple that stays in rotation from now through the fall.

The Structured Basic: Organic Cotton Poplin Long-Sleeve

Quince

A crisp poplin shirt is a travel must-have. The new spring colors—Delta Blue and Steel Gray Soho Stripe—are crafted from premium organic cotton, making them soft to the touch but structured enough to look "put together" the moment you step off the plane.

The "Polished" Lounge Move: European Linen Pants

Quince

These bestsellers are back in new hues like Bayberry Olive and Vintage Pink Chambray. They provide that ideal breathable, loose-fit crop that stays ultra-polished even in warmer climates. They are essentially the grown-up version of sweatpants for the savvy traveler.

The Genius Layer: Organic Heavyweight Fleece Hoodie Blazer Insert

Quince

If you own the Scuba Captain’s Convertible Blazer (or, as many commenters whisper, a Veronica Beard version), this zip-in taupe hoodie is the ultimate plane layer. It adds zero bulk under your blazer but gives you that "casual cool" look while keeping you cozy amid fluctuating cabin temperatures.

The Tech Upgrade: Italian Leather Phone Crossbody Case

Quince

This is the chicest way to keep your phone accessible while navigating TSA Pre-Check or tourist spots. It’s polycarbonate wrapped in Italian leather (making it drop-proof) with a convenient card slot that essentially replaces the clunky lanyards you usually see on cruise ships.

The Personal Item Contender: Transit Quilted Duffle Bag

Quince Duffle Bag

I was especially excited to see this new water-resistant weekender. It’s incredibly roomy, with a padded laptop sleeve, a detachable pouch for cables, and a luggage sleeve that snaps flat when not in use. It’s a prime contender for the "perfect personal item" that can still fit a few extra souvenirs on the return leg.

Officials Uncover One of the Systems Failures That Led to the LaGuardia Crash and Identify Heroic Pilots Killed

Wed, 03/25/2026 - 7:08am

The collision at LaGuardia Airport between an Air Canada plane and an emergency vehicle on the tarmac has been nothing short of a harrowing sequence of events. The biggest question surrounding the tragedy: How did this happen?

Since the crash killed two pilots and injured roughly 40 passengers, investigators have been working to uncover what caused the incident. Authorities recovered the cockpit voice recorder and flight data recorder—commonly known as the plane’s “black boxes”—and sent them to Washington, D.C., for analysis. While early reports highlighted an air traffic controller saying, “I messed up,” the incident cannot be blamed on human error alone.

Related: Most Stressful US Airports 2026: New Data Exposes the Fragility of US Aviation Amid the LaGuardia Runway Investigation

According to ABC 7 Eyewitness News, National Transportation Safety Board Chair Jennifer Homendy confirmed there were two people in the air traffic control tower at the time of the collision: a local controller and a controller in charge.

Homendy clarified during a press conference on March 24, 2026, that this staffing level is standard for LaGuardia’s midnight shift. While she acknowledged that fatigue can be a concern during overnight operations, she stressed it was not considered a factor in this case.

One key issue has emerged: LaGuardia’s runway safety system—which is designed to track surface movement of aircraft and vehicles—did not generate an alert. According to investigators, this was largely because some vehicles on the tarmac were not equipped with the necessary tracking technology, including the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey fire truck involved in the collision.

The analysis found that the system “did not generate an alert due to the close proximity of vehicles merging and unmerging near the runway, resulting in the inability to create a track of high confidence,” Homendy said.

The Pilots Killed in the Crash Were Officially Identified

The pilots were identified as Captain Antoine Forest and First Officer Mackenzie Gunther. According to People, both were early in their careers.

“It’s an absolute tragedy that we’re sitting here with their loss,” said Bryan Bedford, administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration. “My heart really goes out to their families.”

Forest had been with Jazz Aviation LP since 2022. The French-Canadian pilot reportedly learned English to improve his chances of becoming a commercial pilot.

“He flew his first plane when he was 16 years old,” his great-aunt, Jeannette Gagnier, told Toronto Star. “He was always taking courses and flying. He never stopped. It’s a very bad day for me.”

Gunther was a recent graduate (2023) of Seneca Polytechnic and joined Jazz Aviation shortly after.

“Seneca sends our deepest condolences to Mr. Gunther’s family and friends, and to his former colleagues and professors. He will be deeply missed,” the school said in a statement.

The institution also lowered its flags to half-mast on March 24 in his honor.

Several passengers have since called the pilots “heroes” for their actions in the moments before impact, crediting them with saving lives.

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/O7Q-Ua_8YA4

“I’m just so appreciative that they were able to save us, but I’m just so sad that they weren’t able to make it home to their families,” passenger Rebecca Liquori told NBC News. “I wouldn’t be here had it not been for the pilot acting quickly.”

William Shatner has something to say about the death of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, and it isn't just condolences.

Paramount+confirmed Monday that Starfleet Academy will end after its second season, which has already been filmed. The show debuted in January 2026 and drew a polarized response, with some fans dismissing it as too political. Its Rotten Tomatoes critics score sat at 87 percent, while the audience score landed at a dismal 51 percent. The show never cracked Nielsen's weekly top 10 streaming charts.

Shatner, who originated the role of Captain Kirk in the 1960s series that started it all, took to X with two posts that together made a pointed argument. Not only about this latest how, but about the franchise's entire reason for existing.

In the first, he went philosophical. 'Star Trek exists in more than one world,' he wrote, describing the show as a vehicle for both imaginative science fiction and the deeper, harder project of examining human nature. He cited the writers and designers who bring impossible futures to life, but said what he has always cherished most is the series' willingness to wrestle with 'the eternal human questions, the agonies, the ecstasies.' He closed with a direct expression of loss:'"It's with sorrow that I hear about the cancellation of the new Star Trek series.'

Star Trek exists in more than one world. It exists in the fantasy of science fiction - weird and wonderful things that play unimaginable possibilities of exploration and human endeavor. But it also exists in the fantasy of human beings, the perfection of human beings, the…

— William Shatner (@WilliamShatner) March 23, 2026

The second post had more edge. Shatner pointed to the original series' 1968 episode 'Plato's Stepchildren,' which featured what is widely cited as one of American television's first interracial kisses between his character and Nichelle Nichols' Lieutenant Uhura. 'During the first airing of my Star Trek series where a kiss was objectionable,' he wrote, 'many southern stations pulled the episode and condemned the show.' His conclusion was blunt: using today's language, that episode 'would absolutely be called 'woke DEI crap' because it went against 'norms' of society for its time. Not a lot seems to have changed.'

During the first airing of my Star Trek series where a kiss was objectionable; many southern stations pulled the episode & condemned the show. Using today’s vernacular it would absolutely be called“woke DEI crap”because it went against “norms” of society for its time. Not a lot…

— William Shatner (@WilliamShatner) March 24, 2026

Starfleet Academy had been a frequent target on social media from viewers who described it as too 'woke.' Shatner did not use the show's critics' language approvingly. He used their own words to argue that this brand of objection has a history, and not a flattering one.

Showrunners Alex Kurtzman and Noga Landau also released an open letter following the cancellation, addressing the criticism and reaffirming the show's connection to Gene Roddenberry's vision of a future built on tolerance and diversity.

With Starfleet Academy ending, there are currently no new Star Trek series in production, though two previously filmed seasons of Strange New Worlds have yet to air. The franchise's television future remains unsettled.

Shatner's posts made a simple case, that Star Trek has always been in the business of discomfort, and that the discomfort was the point.

Prince Harry Reveals His First Impression of Kate Middleton

Wed, 03/25/2026 - 7:01am

Prince Harry first met Kate Middleton years before she became the Princess of Wales, and his first impression of her said a lot about the relationship they would later enjoy.

In his book Spare, as reported by Hello! Magazine, Harry wrote that he found the then-girlfriend of his brother, Prince William, to be unlike anyone he had ever met prior. Harry, who wrote Spare in 2023, discussed the day he first met Kate, after he was invited to a party he didn't particularly want to attend.

He said the theme was "cringy," in retrospect. It was called "natives and colonials."

Harry revealed that she offered to help him find an appropriate costume. He called her "carefree, sweet and kind."

The Duke of Sussex admitted that he liked Kate and was hopeful she was a good match for his older brother. Ultimately, he stood alongside William at their wedding as his Best Man, and the trio had what appeared to be a close personal and professional relationship for many years.

However, in the years after Harry met the woman who would be his wife, Meghan Markle, his and Kate's relationship reportedly took a downward turn. The women reportedly experienced conflict in the weeks before Harry and Meghan's wedding over a disagreement over Princess Charlotte's bridesmaid's dress.

Markle later revealed the conflict was settled in a 2021 Oprah Winfrey interview. She stated Kate “brought me flowers and a note apologizing."

Per Reader's Digest, royal author Russell Myers said in his book William & Catherine: The Intimate Inside Story that Harry and Kate began to distance themselves from one another due to clashes with Meghan.

After Harry and Meghan left their roles as senior royals in 2020, the divide grew wider. The couple spoke out against the royal family, chronicling their experiences in several key television interviews, including the Oprah exclusive, leaving William and Kate to feel "wounded by the numerous accusations and the presentation of Harry and Meghan’s ‘truth,'" wrote Myers.

Today, Kate, William, Harry, and Meghan reportedly remain estranged. Their last public appearance together was at the funeral of Queen Elizabeth in September 2022.

Is ‘Survivor 50’ on Tonight? (March 25, 2026) Episode 5 Date, Time and Channel

Wed, 03/25/2026 - 7:00am

So far, Survivor50 has been fishing for blindsides that are bigger than the catches that Zac Brown brought in on last week's reward. Most recently, Mike White became the latest person voted off of the milestone season, as Christian Hubicki engineered a 3-2-1 vote to take out the White Lotus creator. It truly shows there's nowhere to hide — just in time for a double Tribal Council to force some people to finally show their cards.

Find out if Survivor 50 is on tonight, and how and when to watch Episode 5.

You can also watch Survivor live on streaming services that come with CBS, such as Hulu + Live TVFubo TV, and YouTubeTVParamount+ Premium plan starting at $8.99 per month.

Who was voted off in the last episode of Survivor 50?Mike White

Since Mike White last played Survivor, he not only gained a six-pack, but international notoriety and a few Emmy Awards to boot. But when the White Lotus creator came back to play for Season 50, he largely resorted to the same tactics that brought him great success in David vs. Goliath, namely using the persuasive skills that he's finessed from decades in Hollywood.

And, when he heard his closest ally and friend Angelina Keeley was in trouble, he did just that, trying to get his former castmate Christian Hubicki to take their side and get rid of his new ally, Emily Flippen. Initially, Christian took the bait, especially when Mike made the comparisons between Emily and his former number one Gabby Pascuzzi. But incidentally, Mike putting Christian in the nostalgic headspace of David vs. Goliath sealed his fate. Seeing how good he can be (which helped get Christian out in their original season), he put the wheels in motion to pull off an incredibly risky 3-2-1 vote.

And so, the man who came into this season wanting to wield "narrative warfare" took out one of the show's most accomplished writers, leaving half the tribe flummoxed and furious.

Mick Jagger Sings 9 Words About Dreams We All Need to Hear

Wed, 03/25/2026 - 6:37am

At 82 years old, Mick Jagger is still the most electrifying performer in rock and roll.

Watch any clip from his recent tours and try to explain it. The man moves across a stadium stage with the energy of a teenager, commanding an audience of 60,000 like he's playing to each one of them individually. He sings hit songs written decades ago—before many of his fans were even born—like he's performing them for the very first time. It almost feels impossible, but the "Start Me Up" singer has never really cared about what should or shouldn't be possible.

What's wild is how close he came to losing it all—more than once. He dropped out of college against his father's wishes. He was arrested and nearly sent to prison in the '60s. Jagger lost bandmates, lovers and some of the people closest to him in ways that would've broken anyone. There were even years when critics said he was finished. But through every single one of those moments, Mick Jagger held onto the one thing that kept him going—his dreams. That's why he's today's quote of the day.

Quote of the Day by Mick Jagger

"Lose your dreams and you will lose your mind."

These words come from "Ruby Tuesday," the 1967 Rolling Stones classic credited to the iconic Jagger/Keith Richards songwriting partnership. The song reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has become one of the most recognizable ballads in rock history. But this particular line has taken on a life far beyond the music. It's been quoted in graduation speeches, printed on dorm room walls and shared millions of times online. On the surface, the words may seem so simple but in reality, they are so powerful.

Because when you stop dreaming—when you let go of whatever it is that keeps you believing, reaching and getting back up in tough times—the things that make life worth living start to fade with it. Mick Jagger knew this at 23 when he first belted out the song. Almost 60 years later, he's still living by these words.

Deeper Meaning of Mick Jagger's Quote—Why Holding Onto Your Dreams Matters

What makes this lyric so enduring is that it was recorded and released during one of the Stones' most turbulent periods. In 1967, the Stones were at war with the British establishment. Jagger and Richards had been arrested on drug charges in a raid that many believed was orchestrated by the tabloid press. The trial became a national sensation and Jagger was sentenced to three months in prison. The sentence was later overturned on appeal, but not before it made headlines around the world.

In the middle of all of that—the court dates, the tabloid frenzy, the very real possibility that his career might be over—Jagger and the band released a song about a free-spirited woman who refuses to be chained to a life where nothing's gained and nothing's lost. "Lose your dreams and you will lose your mind," he sings.

These lyrics have inspired millions of listeners to never lose the passions and desires that make life worth living—to hold onto them or else life will start to slip away.

In 2026, Mick Jagger is shining brighter than ever. The Rolling Stones may have canceled their 2026 European tour plans late last year—reportedly because Keith Richards wasn't ready to commit to another grueling road schedule. But Jagger has made it clear he has no intention of stopping. He was spotted just weeks ago at the Vanity Fair Oscars party, arm in arm with Melanie Hamrick, hypnotizing dozens of photographers with his aura. There may have been hundreds of cameras flashing, but Jagger was the one who "Shined a Light" brighter than them all!

"The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it," Jagger once said, "but I don't want to be its prisoner either."

  • "People have this obsession. They want you to be like you were in 1969. They want you to, because otherwise their youth goes with you."

Inside the 'Sexy and Serene' New Vanderpump Hotel in Las Vegas

Wed, 03/25/2026 - 6:10am

It is official: The "Vanderpump-ification" of the Las Vegas Strip is reaching its peak. Caesars Entertainment just announced that The Vanderpump Hotel (the total reimagining of The Cromwell) is now officially accepting reservations for arrivals starting May 2026.

For those of us who have spent years watching Lisa transform Los Angeles and Las Vegas one pink cocktail at a time, this is the ultimate "boss move." This isn't just a restaurant or a lounge; it’s a 188-room boutique retreat designed entirely by Lisa and her partner Nick Alain in their signature "industrial romantic" style.

Here is everything you need to know about the most anticipated hotel opening on The Strip:

The Design: "Sexy Elegance"

Caesars

Forget the neon and gold of classic Vegas. Lisa’s vision for the guest rooms is all about serenity and "sexy elegance." Expect a soothing palette of moss-green and dusty lilac paired with soft textures and reflective furnishings that make the boutique rooms feel airy and expansive. According to Lisa, the goal was to create a "true retreat" that feels miles away from the chaos of the casino floor, even though you’re right in the heart of the action at Flamingo and Las Vegas Boulevard.

The ‘Vanderpump Alain’ Touch

The hotel will serve as a massive showroom for Vanderpump Alain, Lisa and Nick’s custom lighting and furniture line. Every fixture and furnishing has been hand-selected or custom-created for the property. You’ll also find Lisa’s signature meticulous attention to detail in the room amenities—and yes, her "cheeky British humor" is promised to be woven throughout the public spaces.

What’s Staying (and What’s New)

While the rooms are getting a total face-lift, you don't have to worry about your favorite stops disappearing.

  • The Food:GIADA (Giada De Laurentiis’ flagship) and Starbucks will remain open throughout the transformation.
  • The Late Night:Drai’s After Hours is staying put in its original home beneath the hotel.
  • The New Lounge: Lisa is debuting a bespoke cocktail lounge created exclusively for the hotel (details are still under wraps, but knowing Lisa, expect it to be a floral, velvet-drenched masterpiece).
  • The Pool: The 11th-story rooftop pool, Soleia, is currently undergoing renovations and will reopen specifically for hotel guests this May.
Building a Vegas Empire

The Vanderpump Hotel is the crown jewel in Lisa's rapidly expanding Vegas footprint, joining Vanderpump Cocktail Garden (Caesars Palace), Vanderpump à Paris (Paris Las Vegas), and the recently opened Pinky’s by Vanderpump (Flamingo).

For the opening weekend in May 2026, reservations at The Vanderpump Hotel (currently listed via Caesars as The Cromwell) are starting at approximately $419 per night for a standard King room. If you're looking to upgrade to one of the 21 signature suites designed by Lisa and Nick Alain, those rates are scaling closer to $850+ per night, depending on the view of the Flamingo Road and Las Vegas Boulevard intersection.

Keep in mind that as a boutique property with only 188 rooms, these "May Arrival" dates are expected to fill up quickly, especially given the fan base for Lisa's other Strip venues. The first available night currently listed on the site is May 29, so if you're looking to be among the very first to sleep under a Vanderpump Alain chandelier, you'll want to move "stat" before the opening weekend is entirely spoken for.

54 Years Ago Today, Classic '60s Sitcom Aired Its Final Episode—But It Wasn’t Actually Canceled

Wed, 03/25/2026 - 6:02am

It's been 54 years since Bewitched ended its eight-season run on primetime TV. The classic sitcom aired on ABC from Sept. 1964, to March 1972. Starring Elizabeth Montgomery as suburban housewife/witch Samantha Stephens, the beloved series featured Dick York, Agnes Moorehead, Dick  Sargent, Erin Murphy, and more.

The final Bewitched episode, titled  “The Truth, Nothing But the Truth, So Help Me Sam,” aired on March 25, 1972, on ABC. The storyline, about a truth spell Endora (Moorhead) places on Darrin (Sargent), was basically a remake of the Season 2 episode “Speak the Truth" and was about as far from a series finale as it could be. Bewitched signed off that season with no official goodbyes or resolutions—and that’s because the show was actually supposed to return that fall.

In an interview with Pop Entertainment, Murphy, now 61, said it was “not true” that the series was canceled by the network. “We were never canceled,” the actress said. “We were supposed to go on, but Liz Montgomery decided that she didn’t want to do another season. So we went off the air gracefully. We weren’t canceled. We all thought we were coming back.”

'Bewitched' could have gone on for 10 seasons

Murphy, who played Tabitha Stephens on the classic comedy series, told Fox News Digital that Bewitched actually had a multi-season renewal when the cast and crew went on summer hiatus after filming Season 8.

"We’d been picked up for two more seasons,” she said. “So we went on our hiatus thinking we were going to come back a month or two [later], and we never did. … They sent a letter to our house [stating] that they decided not to continue. So, I went to Girl Scout camp."

Because the series ended so abruptly, Murphy didn’t have memories of the finale.

“No, and the reason I have no special memories of the final episode is that it wasn’t supposed to be the final episode," she told ReMind magazine in 2025. “We all had contracts for two more years, our show had been picked up for two more seasons, and we went on hiatus like always, expecting to come back.  We all received telegrams and letters which explained that Liz had decided not to do the show anymore, and that we wouldn’t be coming back. The final episode was just like any other week of the show. None of us knew it was the final episode while we were filming it.”

A divorce put a  damper on ‘Bewitched’

Montgomery’s husband, William Asher, was one of the directors on Bewitched. By the time Season 8 rolled around, the Hollywood power couple’s marriage was on the rocks.

In an interview with Fox News Digital, Peter Ackerman, the son of Bewitched executive producer Harry Ackerman, claimed his father was given an ultimatum by  Montgomery in 1972.

“The network wanted to continue with the series [but Montgomery] would only do it if my dad would agree to basically fire her soon-to-be ex-husband,” Peter Ackerman alleged. “They had broken up at that point and hired this other fella who was directing that episode to be the new director. My dad said, ‘Liz, Bill Asher is my partner, I’m not going to do that to him.’ And she said, ’Well then, Bewitched is done.’“

Montgomery and Asher divorced in 1973 after 10 years of marriage.

1977 No. 9 Soft Rock Classic Was Written ‘Totally Out of Spite’ by Hard Rock Icon

Wed, 03/25/2026 - 5:50am

In 1977, Alice Cooper had a surprise soft rock hit with the song “You and Me.” The legendary shock rocker hit No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 on August 13, 1977, and remained on the chart for 21 weeks with the sentimental ballad about the simple moments in a loving relationship.

“You and Me” was the first single from Cooper’s 1977 album Lace and Whiskey, but it wasn’t his first ballad. Along with songwriting collaborator Dick Wagner, he previously penned “Only Women Bleed” and “I Never Cry,” which both hit No. 12 on Billboard.

Cooper, who was known for hard rock songs such as “No More Mr. Nice Guy” and “Welcome to My Nightmare,” once revealed that he recorded the trio of ballads as a clapback to naysayers.

“I did those songs totally out of spite,” Cooper told Creem magazine in August 1977.I kept reading so many interviews and articles that I said I was never considered musical. Best rock show they ever saw, but musically lacking. 'They aren't as good as ELP'. Of course not, we didn't want to be!"

"They kept saying I was a performer but didn't write anything,” he continued. “So I said, 'Oh yeah? Yeah? OH, YEAH? Wait till you hear this!' So Wagner and I wrote those ballads just to show we could write."

Cooper finally felt ‘mainstream’

Cooper had prior radio hits, most notably his breakthrough hit "School’s Out” in the early 1970s, but he admitted it was the ballads that brought his music to a mainstream audience.

“I think the ballads were [mainstream],” he told Where Ya At in an interview. “I think ‘Only Women Bleed’ and  ‘You and Me’ and ‘I Never Cry.' ... I mean, Frank Sinatra did ‘You and Me.’ Tina Turner did ‘Only Women Bleed.’ A lot of female artists did a lot of our songs. … I could name you like 20 or 30 different women that have covered Alice Cooper ballads. I wanted to write ballads that would really affect women."

In the Creem interview, Cooper described his ballads as "heavy metal housewife rock." He also joked that some of the easy listening fans may not have known who he was.

“Wouldn't it be shocking if some of them were so out of touch that they didn't know anything about Alice Cooper, and then they saw one of those grizzly pictures with a doll at one end of a sword with blood all over it. 'Well, that must be another Alice Cooper," he cracked in 1977.

Cooper went a step further than mainstream radio with “You and Me.” In 1978,  he guest-starred on The Muppet Showto perform the song as a duet with a Muppet character named Beakie.

During a 2015 appearance at the Edmonton Expo, Cooper explained that when he was invited on The Muppet Show, he told producers, "Yeah, I want to, but I really don't want to give up the Alice character, you know. Alice, the character, I don't want to soften it that much."

And then I said, ‘Well, who have you had on recently, you know?’ " Cooper recalled. "And they said, ‘Well, Christopher Lee, Vincent Price.’ And by that time I went, ‘Yeah, I'll do it.’ Because I figured, you know, if those guys can do the show, then of course I want to do the show.”

1977’s Sweetest Love Song Comes With a Surprisingly Dark Backstory

Wed, 03/25/2026 - 5:49am

In 1977, there was no escaping the Debby Boone song "You Light Up My Life."

The song spent 10 consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. It topped the chart in mid-October 1977 and held its position through December.

In a twist, according to a Rolling Stone readers' poll from 2011, "You Light Up My Life" was called one of the Top 10 Worst Songs of the decade. The sentimental tune was written as a love song, but Boone reportedly interpreted it as a song about her devotion to God.

The singer told Entertainment Weekly, "I can't say how many weddings I've sung that song at. I've had a lot of DJs over the years saying, 'I got so sick of playing that record.'"

The hugely popular track was written by Joseph Brooks for the 1977 film of the same name, earning an Academy Award for Best Original Song, a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song, and a Grammy Award for Record of the Year. The film You Light Up My Life starred Didi Conn, Joe Silver, Michael Zaslow, Stephen Nathan, and Melanie Mayron.

However, what few listeners knew was that years after the song became a hit, in a dark twist, Brooks would be convicted of an unspeakable series of crimes.

According to The New York Times, in 2009, Brooks, 71, was arrested on sexual assault charges. He reportedly lured over a dozen women into his apartment on the premise that he was casting them for a role.

Brooks was freed on bail, but took his own life in his New York City apartment in 2011. It was said he left behind a note saying he believed he would be cleared on all charges.

The family's legal problems continued when, in 2010, Brooks' son, Nicholas Brooks, was arrested after his girlfriend, Sylvie Cachay, was found strangled at a private Manhattan club. Brooks was charged with murder and is serving a sentence at the Green Haven Correctional Facility in Stormville, New York, per The Cinemaholic.

Brooks is eligible for parole in December 2035. Cachay's murder was documented in the Netflix series Homicide: New York in an episode titled "Soho Horror."

According to her official website, Debby Boone lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Gabriel Ferrer (son of actor José Ferrer and singer Rosemary Clooney). She remains active as a performer and has no ties to the aforementioned crimes.

If you or someone you know has been a victim of sexual assault, help is available 24 hours a day through RAINN's National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1-800-656-4673.
