'Law & Order: SVU' Fan-Favorite is Returning to the Show

Tue, 02/10/2026 - 8:20pm

After unexpectedly leaving Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in late 2025, actor Octavio Pisano, who plays the character Detective Joe Velasco, is officially returning to the show for at least one episode.

On Feb. 10, Deadline exclusively reported the news that Pisano was on set for the show in New York City to film an episode for later this year. According to sources, his character is going undercover in the new storyline.

The surprising news comes after Pisano left the show in 2025, with no official reason reported. In May, it was announced that both Pisano and Juliana Martinezwouldn't be returning for the next season, and fans were forced to say goodbye to their characters. Pisano ended up appearing at the start of Season 27 to sort of wrap up his storyline, but since then, he hasn't been in the show.

Luckily, it seems like the writers of Law & Order: SVU and people at NBC changed their minds, as Pisano is officially back. While it's confirmed that he will appear in at least one episode, the total number of episodes isn't clear. It could be a quick one-off appearance or a story arc over multiple episodes.

Throughout the crime drama's long run, the show has said goodbye and hello to a long list of cast members, and there's no way to predict if your favorite character will be around a few seasons down the line.

View this post on Instagram

One key example of this is Kelli Giddish and her character, Sergeant Amanda Rollins. Back in late 2022, Giddish was a series regular when it was revealed that she would be leaving the show. While she didn't share why, many fans suspected it was because of budget cuts at NBC.

Although Giddish made appearances in Seasons 25 and 26, fans were left stunned when it was announced that she would be returning as a series regular in Season 27. Everyone welcomed her back with open arms, but the situation was a testament to how unpredictable a cast member's status can be.

With this in mind, fans of Pisano can be hopeful that maybe someday, sooner or later, the actor could be back as a main cast member on Law & Order: SVU.

Olympic Figure Skater Alysa Liu Wasn't Allowed to Keep Broken Gold Medal — Here's Why

Tue, 02/10/2026 - 8:19pm

Winning Olympic gold usually comes with a moment you want to freeze in time—but for Alysa Liu, that moment literally fell apart.

Just hours after helping Team USA capture gold in the figure skating team event at the 2026 Winter Olympics on Sunday, February 8, Liu revealed that her medal didn’t survive the celebration intact. While bouncing around in excitement, the 20-year-old said the medal unexpectedly separated from its ribbon and took on visible damage in the process.

“I was just jumping up and down, as one does to celebrate, and it just dropped,” Liu explained in an interview with Overtime posted the following day on February 9. “It just literally fell off of the ribbon. It got very scratched up… pretty dented.”

Surprisingly, Liu didn’t seem too bothered by the wear and tear—in fact, she liked the medal even more once it was off the ribbon. That’s when officials stepped in.

“I actually liked it when it was off the ribbon, but that’s not allowed,” she said. “I had to give it in. I was like, ‘Can’t you just fix this one?’ I’m attached. But it’s OK, I’m detached. Just like it was.”

Liu isn’t alone. Earlier the same day, U.S. alpine skier Breezy Johnson experienced a similar issue after winning gold in the women’s downhill. Johnson showed reporters how the medal had separated from its ribbon mid-celebration.

“Do not jump in them. I was jumping in excitement and it broke,” she said. “So there’s the medal, there’s the ribbon, and here’s the little piece that is supposed to go into the ribbon to hold the medal. Yeah, it came apart.” Johnson joked that she expected officials to fix it, adding, “It’s not crazy broken, but it’s a little broken.”

Germany’s biathlon team shared footage of Justus Strelowabruptly halting a celebration after his bronze medal fell to the ground, too.

On Monday, organizers addressed the growing concerns. Andrea Francisi, Chief Games Operations Officer for Milano Cortina 2026, confirmed officials are investigating. “We’re going to pay particular attention to the medals,” he said to PEOPLE, noting that the podium moment is “probably one of the most important moments for the athletes.”

Hasbro Just Made a Massive ‘Harry Potter’ Announcement

Tue, 02/10/2026 - 8:19pm

It has been 25 years since fans first met the boy wizard on the big screen, and now the next era of the wizarding world is officially under construction.

Hasbro announced a massive multi-year partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery on Feb. 10, confirming the company as the global master toy licensee for the upcoming HBO Original Harry Potter series.

The deal covers both the highly anticipated television reboot, slated for release in 2027, and the original film franchise, ensuring a mix of nostalgic collectibles and new interactive products.

The New Face of Magic

While the business deal ensures store shelves will remain stocked with wands and robes, the announcement cements the lineup of actors who will step into these iconic roles.

Leading the series is Dominic McLaughlin, a 12-year-old Scottish actor who has been cast as Harry Potter. McLaughlin, previously known for his role in the film Grow, faces the monumental task of redefining the character for a new generation.

He is joined by Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley, completing the new franchise’s central trio.

John Lithgow Takes the Lead

The announcement also solidifies the adult cast, bringing serious star power to the faculty table at Hogwarts. John Lithgow, the award-winning stage and screen veteran, is confirmed to play Albus Dumbledore.

Lithgow’s casting marks a significant stylistic shift for the Headmaster role, previously portrayed by Richard Harris, Michael Gambon, and Jude Law. Joining him are Nick Frost (Shaun of the Dead) as the half-giant gamekeeper Rubeus Hagrid and Paapa Essiedu (I May Destroy You) as the potion master Severus Snape.

Toys for a New Era

The partnership arrives as the franchise celebrates the 25th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Hasbro confirmed the new product line will launch in 2027 to coincide with the show’s premiere on HBO and HBO Max.

"The world of Harry Potter and its unforgettable characters align perfectly with our mission," said Tim Kilpin, President of Toys, Games, Licensing and Entertainment at Hasbro.

Fans can expect a range of "film and HBO Original series-inspired products," including action figures, role-play gear, and interactive plush toys.

What Happens Next

The HBO Original Harry Potter series is currently in production, with a release window set for 2027. While specific plot details remain under wraps, the seven-season adaptation is expected to be a faithful dedication to J.K. Rowling’s original novels.

From the packaging to the branding to the formula itself, this Five Below drop is a total dupe for Glossier's beloved Cloud Paint cream blushes. It doesn't even appear like Five Below is trying to hide the fact that it's inspired by Glossier. Honestly, it is pretty bold. You gotta respect it.

From the Five Below beauty brand Surface, the line's Glow With It Cream Blushes are a total dead-ringer for Glossier.

Just like Glossier, Five Below's Surface Glow With It Cream blushes are 0.33 ounces each. However, compared to Glossier, Surface's cream blushes retail for just $4. Glossier's Cloud Cream Blushes retail for $24. That is six times more expensive!

Surface's Glow With It cream blush comes in four gorgeous shades:

  • Fluff (light pink)
  • Bounce (warm apricot)
  • Flash (bright pink)
  • Midnight (berry)

Each blush adds a subtle pop of color to your cheeks. The formula is buildable, giving you customized control of the intensity. Once applied, the blush leaves a soft, dewy glow on the cheeks that looks beautiful on everyone.

While Glossier offers more shade options for its cream blushes than Surface does, this may be a first batch, and additional colors could be released later. You never know!

This latest release is part of Five Below's pivot into the beauty space in the form of affordable dupes. Five Below offers several other familiar makeup, haircare, and skincare items that look suspiciously similar to some highly coveted—but much more expensive—high-end favorites.

Bad Bunny Falls Short of Record for Most-Watched Super Bowl Halftime Show

Tue, 02/10/2026 - 8:09pm

Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny headlined the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show on Sunday in Santa Clara, California.

The 31-year-old artist delivered a visually stunning, career-spanning performance, transforming the field into the vibrant landscapes of Puerto Rico, including sugarcane fields, piragua stands and iconic jíbaros dressed in white.

The halftime show attracted an average of 128.2 million U.S. viewers from 8:15 to 8:30 p.m. Eastern Time, according to AP News. While impressive, it fell short of Kendrick Lamar’s 2025 record of 133.5 million viewers, placing Bad Bunny fourth in the most-watched halftime shows behind Lamar, Michael Jackson (133.4M, 1993) and Usher (129.3M, 2024).

The full global viewership tally is expected to be released in the coming days, but the U.S. numbers alone highlight the massive reach of Bad Bunny’s performance.

The Super Bowl LX broadcast itself averaged 124.9 million viewers across NBC, Peacock, Telemundo, NBC Sports Digital and NFL+, peaking at 137.8 million viewers in the second quarter; a record for NBC.

View this post on Instagram

SeattleSeahwks’ 29-13 victory over the New England Patriots didn’t break last year’s record of 127.7 million viewers set during the Philadelphia Eagles’ win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Despite not setting a new viewership record, the performance immediately boosted Bad Bunny’s global music presence. Apple Music reported a post-show surge, with 24 of his songs landing in the Top 100, nine tracks in the Top 25, and five songs in the Top 10.

“DTMF” reached No. 1, while the official halftime show playlist became the platform’s most-streamed setlist ever.

Bad Bunny’s set was more than a musical performance; it was a homage to Puerto Rican culture and Pan-American identity. Opening with sugarcane fields, the show paid tribute to Puerto Rico’s agricultural roots. Other elements included coconut stands, domino tables, taco vendors and piragua carts, symbolizing everyday life across the Caribbean and Latin America.

Celebrity appearances highlighted the show’s continental reach: Cardi B, Karol G, Young Miko, Jessica Alba, Pedro Pascal and Ronald Acuña Jr. all joined in, representing various Latin American countries.

Notably, a surprise wedding ceremony was officiated on stage, followed by a performance from Lady Gaga, who wore the flor de maga, Puerto Rico’s national flower.

Apple Music confirmed that Bad Bunny’s album Debí Tirar Más Fotos appeared on charts in 155 countries, reached the Top 10 in 128 territories and hit No. 1 in 46, including Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Germany, France and Spain.

The performance bridged language and cultural barriers, emphasizing that Bad Bunny’s appeal goes far beyond English-speaking audiences. Cities driving the surge included Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and Dallas.

The YouTube upload of the halftime show reached 61 million views by Feb. 10, while alternative streams, including Rumble, accumulated millions more.

Fans praised the blend of Puerto Rican pride, Latin American symbolism, and chart-topping music, cementing Bad Bunny’s halftime show as a cultural milestone, even if it did not surpass previous U.S. broadcast records.

Ikea’s Genius New Foldable Rack Comes in ‘Super Handy’ For Big Batch Baking Sessions

I love to bake, like, really love it. However the one thing that always trips me up is counter space. Somehow, the moment I'm truly in the zone, the kitchen shrinks by half. I've got cookies ready to go into the oven, another batch cooling, and suddenly there's nowhere to put a single baking sheet without playing a very stressful game of countertop Tetris. Every flat surface is spoken for, and I'm balancing pans like I live dangerously (I'd rather not).

When you're on a baking roll, the last thing you want is to slow down because there's no safe landing spot for hot trays. That’s usually the moment I start eyeing the stovetop, the table or, if I'm being really honest, the top of the washing machine if things get really desperate. It's such a small problem, but it totally breaks the rhythm when you're trying to move quickly between batches.

Ikea has a genius solution to this baking conundrum—the Svartabborre Foldable Baking Sheet Rack. It's $14.99 and, when unfolded, has four slots to place baking sheets. This gadget is so genius I can't believe I don't already own one, or even realized this kind of thing existed. The fact that its foldable for easy storage is just the icing on the cake.

You've got to love a vertical storage option that only occupies the counterspace of a single cookie sheet.

Ikea shoppers are loving this space-saving kitchen tool, and their reviews basically take the words right out of my mouth.

"Exactly what I needed for all day baking sessions where there's always several cookie sheets either cooling down or getting set up for the next round," says a customer in her review. "Saved a lot of counter space!"

Others note that it feels sturdy while still being compact.

"This is well made and easy to use and store away," wrote another shopper. "This is a must have when baking in a small space. Well done!"

I can't wait to put mine to good use with upcoming school bake sales and general recreational cooking making. If you often find yourself eyeing your washing machine as a makeshift cooling station for your baked goods, then this gadget was basically designed for you.

Even though he is turning 90 this July, Buddy Guy does not seem to be stopping his live performances anytime soon.

On Tuesday, the Chicago blues legend announced on X that he will be embarking on his Buddy Guy 90 Tour this summer to celebrate his 90th birthday. He is planning to headline venues across multiple cities, including Buffalo, Chicago, St. Louis, Nashville, Atlanta, New Orleans, San Antonio, Dallas, Los Angeles, Denver and more. The tour will kick off in Toronto on July 15, then conclude in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Sept. 18.

These Canada and United States dates are an addition to his Australia leg, which the "Mustang Sally" singer will be starting this April. Last year, Buddy Guy released his 20th solo album, Ain't Done with the Blues, last year.

Before his last major tour, which was the [Explicit] Right Farewell Tour, from February 2023 to 2024, Guy revealed that he was going to retire from long-distance touring, but then extended the tour to perform on his [Explicit] Right EncoreTour in 2025. In addition, he continues his annual residency at his Chicago club, Buddy Guy's Legends.

Back in August 2023, Guy revealed in an interview with Guitar Worldthat he wanted to retire from touring because he didn't "want someone coming away from my show thinking, 'He doesn't sound any good.'"

"I watched all the old guys like B.B. King, Howlin’ Wolf and Muddy Waters go until they got old,” Guy continued. “Often, when you watch older people playing shows, you think, ‘Man… they just don’t sound the way they did when they were younger.’ I remember listening to some of my heroes when they got older and thinking it wasn’t the same."

Buddy Guy speaks onstage at Variety Hitmakers 2025 on December 06, 2025 in Los Angeles, California.

Born George Guy, he has become an icon in the Chicago blues space, and has influenced multiple generations of musicians, including Eric Clapton, Keith Richards, Gary Clark Jr., John Mayer and many more. Originally from Louisiana, Guy began his career by performing with bands in Baton Rouge in the mid-1950s before moving to Chicago.

Since then, Guy has released more than 30 studio albums, which include his solo work, as well as collaborations with Junior Wells, his brother Phil and Memphis Slim. He has also won nine Grammy Awards and a Lifetime Achievement Award, as well as the National Medal of Arts and the Kennedy Center Honors. In addition, he has two books: [Explicit] Right I've Got Blues with Donald Wilcock in 1999 and his 2012 autobiography When I Left Home: My Story.

Cardi B Treats Herself to Lavish $500K 'Little Gift' Amid Stefon Diggs Breakup Rumors

Tue, 02/10/2026 - 7:46pm

If there’s one thing Cardi Bknows how to do, it’s redirect the narrative.

As chatter continues around her relationship with Stefon Diggs, the rapper decided to treat herself with a jaw-dropping Audemars Piguet watch valued at nearly $500,000, per E! News.

Cardi, 33, revealed the splurge in a Tuesday, February 9 Instagram video as celebrity jeweler Benny the Jeweler secured the timepiece onto her wrist. “A little gift for me from me,” she said in the clip, explaining that the watch was meant “to set myself up the proper way for tour.”

The purchase arrives just as she prepares to launch her highly anticipated Little Miss Drama Tour, her first in almost seven years.

View this post on Instagram

According to the outlet, the luxury piece features an 18-carat frosted gold case and bracelet, finished with 32 baguette-cut rainbow sapphires encircling the dial—perfectly on-brand for Cardi.

Fans were quick to leave their thoughts in the comments.

“Brah aint no way Diggs fumbled this and lost super bowl same day ,” one quipped.

Another theorized, “I feel like this was a gift for Stefon but she kept it for herself since he can’t act right lol.”

“Cardi you are that girl ok 🤞🏽real b!tchs make shyt happen you don’t depend on no man ,” said a third.

But it’s the timing of Cardi’s purchase that has fans talking. Just after Super Bowl LX on Sunday, speculation about her relationship with Diggs, 32, intensified after the two unfollowed each other on Instagram. The move came shortly after Cardi reportedly left the game early on February 8, before the New England Patriots’ 29–13 loss to the Seattle Seahawks was finalized.

The pair, who welcomed a baby boy together in November, have not publicly addressed the rumors or responded to Parade’s request for comment.

Off the field, Diggs has also faced mounting pressure. The wide receiver is currently embroiled in a civil lawsuit brought by a former associate who claims the athlete falsely accused him of stealing a luxury Ferrari—allegations the plaintiff says hurt his business. Diggs has not commented publicly on the suit.

He is also facing felony and misdemeanor assault charges related to a separate alleged December incident. His attorney has denied the claims, calling them “unsubstantiated, uncorroborated, and were never investigated—because they did not occur.”

Benefits of Ceramic Nonstick Cookware

When it comes to reliable cookware that doesn’t break the bank, ceramic nonstick offers loads of value. It heats evenly, cleans up quickly and is an easy choice among home cooks for everyday use as well as anyone on a budget. While it’s best to retire them once the nonstick surface is scratched, their lifespan can be extended by using wooden or silicone utensils and avoiding direct contact with metal.

Whether you’re using this saucepan as an impromptu frying pan for scrambled eggs in the morning or for sauces and soups as its intended, you can count on consistent performance every time. Pro tip: skip the dishwasher and stick to a simple hand wash with soap and a non-abrasive sponge to help protect the nonstick finish.

Hitting shelves on Wednesday, February 11, you can expect to find the entire mini ceramic cookware collection available in multiple colorways, with the mini sauce pan hitting shelves in Grey and Teal. Easily our favorite of the bunch, the teal colorway brings a pop of bright color to any kitchen, making it a fitting upgrade for spring.

If you spent the early 2000s roaming the mall with a flip phone in your pocket and a questionable playlist on your iPod, this might hit you right in the feelings. The soft gray T-shirt features a lineup of dancing Julius monkeys across the chest and comes in inclusive sizing from XXS–3X. If you ever owned a Paul Frank wallet, hoodie or notebook or begged your parents for one, this shirt will feel extremely familiar.

Paul Frank wasn't just a brand back then; it was a whole identity. Julius the Monkey appeared on tees, bags, pajamas and accessories at stores like Nordstrom and Urban Outfitters, becoming a defining symbol of early-2000s style. The brand blended pop art, skate culture, and irony in a way that felt rebellious yet accessible, which is exactly why it stuck. Seeing Paul Frank pop up at Target now taps directly into that shared nostalgia and Y2K obsession happening all over again.

Shoppers are already feeling emotional about it. One review notes that it felt nostalgic to see Paul Frank back at Target after shopping there decades ago, noting how special it was when the retailer carried these designers. That sentiment feels spot-on. This tee isn't just about fashion, it's about remembering a time when getting dressed was fun and didn't take itself too seriously.

At $12, the Target price point makes the throwback even sweeter. You don't have to commit to a full Y2K wardrobe to enjoy the nostalgia. It's the kind of easy, low-risk buy that pairs well with jeans or cargo shorts, or layered under a cardigan for a subtle look. Whether you lived in Paul Frank back in the day or just admired it from afar, this tee feels like a small time capsule you can actually wear.

'90s Sitcom Star Joins 'The White Lotus' for Season 4

Tue, 02/10/2026 - 7:01pm

The White Lotus is continuing its tradition of unexpected, conversation-starting casting choices. HBO's Emmy-winning anthology series has officially added Sandra Bernhard to the cast for Season 4, according to Variety.

While details about her character remain tightly under wraps—standard procedure for series creator Mike White—the casting is certainly noteworthy given Bernhard's long-standing reputation for fearless performances and sharp-edged humor.

Season 4 of The White Lotus is currently in development and will follow the same anthology format that has defined the series since its debut in 2021, with a new location, new ensemble cast, and a fresh exploration of privilege, power, and interpersonal chaos. HBO has not yet announced a premiere date or filming location for the upcoming season.

Bernhard has become a household name over the years, though she is especially well known to television audiences for her recurring role on Roseanne, where she joined the cast beginning in Season 4. She played Nancy Bartlett, Roseanne Conner's outspoken, unapologetically confident friend, a character who became a fan favorite during the show's peak years in the early 1990s.

Nancy's storyline—including her relationship with Jackie Harris—was notable at the time for pushing network television toward more open and nuanced LGBTQ+ representation. Bernhard appeared on Roseanne throughout the series' original run until the end of the series, appearing in the final episode in 1997.

Beyond Roseanne, Bernhard has built a decades-long career across stand-up comedy, television, film, and music, often leaning into characters that challenge social norms and expectations. That sensibility makes her a natural addition to The White Lotus, a series known for embracing performers who bring a distinct point of view to its ensemble storytelling.

Season 4 will follow the critically acclaimed third season, which continued the show's awards momentum and cultural relevance. With Bernhard now in the mix, fans can expect another sharp, unpredictable chapter when The White Lotus returns.

Why '90s Music Is Seeing a Sudden Resurgence at the Winter Olympics

Tue, 02/10/2026 - 7:00pm

If you've been tuning into the figure skating competition at the Winter Olympics, you may be wondering why music from three decades ago is making a sudden resurgence.

As the international multisport event, also known as Milano Cortina 2026, unfolds, viewers and supporters are being transported to the '90s during one component.

Ricky Martin may have made headlines at the 2026 Super Bowl after making a guest appearance during Bad Bunny's halftime show, but his '90s-era hit was also dominating the XXV Winter Olympic Games.

In fact, his 1995 song, "Maria," was heard blasting through the speakers at the rhythm dance event by three separate teams.

Rolling Stone notes that while Finland, Sweden and Spain's decision to go with Martin's song was a pure coincidence, the fact that the '90s were making a comeback was more deliberate, as rhythm dance set this year's theme as "The Music, Dance Styles and Feeling of the 1990s."

This meant that all the nostalgic music chosen would pay homage to the decade that became the soundtrack of millennials' lives, all while creating a lively atmosphere, once they navigated all the red tape due to copyright issues.

And though Martin was a popular choice, many '90s icons got their moment to shine, as well.

Laurence Fournier Beaudry and Guillaume Cizeron skated to Madonna's hit "Vogue," while Madison Chock and Evan Bates opted for a Lenny Kravitz medley consisting of “American Woman,” “Fly Away,” “Always on the Run” and “Are You Gonna Go My Way.”

Honoring the dance-pop category of the early '90s was Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier, whose musical choices included a mash-up of “Supermodel (You Better Work)” by RuPaul and “I’m Too Sexy” by Right Said Fred.

Marking their Olympic debut, Emilea Zingas and Vadym Kolesnik took to the ice with "Poison" and "Something in Your Eyes" by R&B group Bell Biv DeVoe.

Earning their highest score of the season, Christina Carreira and Anthony Ponomarenko performed to La Bouche's "Sweet Dreams" and "100% Pure Love" by CrystalWaters.

Of course, the era was defined by the rise of boy bands and girl groups, with British duo Lilah Fair and Lewis Gibson, opting for a Spice Girls tribute consisting of "Wannabe," "Who Do You Think You Are?" and "Spice Up Your Life," with Ginger Spice's (Geri Halliwell) signature Union Jack Dress included.

Meanwhile, Charlène Guignard and Marco Fabbri from Italy made everybody jump out of their seatswith Backstreet Boys' classics, “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” and “That’s the Way I Like It.”

The Backstreet Boys, fresh off their highly-successful Las Vegas Sphere residency, are seemingly having a major moment now, with their '90s hits used in two Super Bowl commercials for T-Mobile and Coinbase.

Other '90s artists heard at the Winter Olympics included Eiffel 65, Will Smith, Destiny's Child and Jennifer Lopez.

The Winter Olympics are airing now through Feb. 22.

The next event is the figure skating ice dance, free dance event, which falls on Wednesday, Feb. 11 at 7:30 p.m. CET.

All-Female '90s Rock Band Announces 2026 Tour Dates 25 Years After Splitting Up

Tue, 02/10/2026 - 7:00pm

Fans were pretty bummed when pioneering grunge/alt-rockers L7 broke up in 2001, nearly 10 years after their hit song "Pretend We're Dead" climbed the charts. But the all-female band reunited in 2014, due to popular demand, and now they're rocking harder than ever.

As announced over a couple of recent Instagram posts, L7 has a super busy summer ahead. First up, in June, the group is hitting the road with Australian punk rockers Amyl and the Sniffers, making stops in Toronto on the 4th and Montreal on the 5th before playing Colorado's iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre on the 17th.

Then, in July, L7 is heading to Belgium with Joan Jett, Chris Isaak, The Raveonettes and about a million other acts for the Sjock 50 festival, which takes place on the 10th, 11th and 12th.

Commenters on L7's post about the Sjock fest appearances were definitely excited.

"I might need to hop in the road case for this one," one person joked, with a second adding, "Best news of the year!"

"What a lineup!" raved someone else.

Yoko Ono is a fan of L7

As co-founding L7 member Donita Sparks explained in an interview with Life of the Record about the making of Bricks Are Heavy (1992), Yoko Ono was genuinely enthusiastic when the band for permission to sample her vocals on the track "Wargasm."

"I, at the time, was listening to Plastic Ono Band’s Sometime in New York City, I think is the name of it," Sparks said. "And a friend of mine and I were really just really jamming on that record for a while and really digging it. So I was like, Oh man, I'd love to sample Yoko for ‘Wargasm,’ cause her vocals are so passionate and so just off the rails in expressiveness. And we reached out to her to see if we could use that and she said yes. And then my management said, 'Hey, Yoko, Ono's gonna call you. She wants to talk to you.' And I was just like, 'What?' I was like, 'Oh my God.' You know, like, what am I gonna say to Yoko Ono?”

Luckily, Ono was understanding when Sparks got a little tongue-tied.

"And she called me and I was pretty nervous and I didn't have much to say. And I said, 'I'm sorry, I'm not talking that much. I'm kind of nervous.' And she was just very cool and very supportive of our band and what we were doing. And she had encouraging things to say and it was cool getting the nod from her. And you know, she liked the lyrics and she thought it was a cool song."

'Single's Inferno' Panel Left Speechless With Go Eun's Final Pick

Tue, 02/10/2026 - 6:51pm

Contestants on Single's Inferno have the tough task of finding a match on the Netflix dating show. They started on a beach with limited food where they can't learn anyone's age or job. The only way to get closer to each other is to take someone to paradise, a hotel that has a delicious menu, a pool, and luxurious beds. Kim Go Eun was one of the most popular girls in season 5, and her final choice turned the lively panel silent.

Who Did Kim Go Eun Choose on Single's Inferno? Woo Sung Min and Kim Go Eun

Netflix

Kim went to paradise with Woo Sung Min first, and they talked every chance they had in the inferno. It seemed like there was no hope for anyone else until episode 10. Game changer Jo I-Geon was one of the last singles to join the cast. He took Kim to paradise a second time, and she was more flirtatious with him in the pool. They returned to paradise, and Jo kept teasing her and tried to make her jealous of Lee Ha Eun. After all, she kept talking to Woo and Shin Heyon Woo.

Shin, Jo, and Woo stepped forward for Kim in the finale. That wasn't surprising, but what Kim said was for Cho Kyu hyun, Jung Han hae, Lee Da hee, Hong Jin kyeong, and Kim Jin young. Kim said she was a different version of herself with each man, and decided which one she liked best. Kim and Cho predicted she would pick Jo. "The person that I would like to leave inferno with is Woo Sung min," she said.

"What?" Lee asked. Jung fell to his knees on the ground, Hong's jaw dropped, Cho blinked repeatedly. "Personally, I got goosebumps," Lee added. "Why?" Woo and Kim walked away holding hands. They went to paradise once, and she went to paradise twice with Jo. Woo joked about walking back to paradise.

"I know this must've been tough for you physically and mentally, but you pulled through," Woo told Kim before her choice. "Let it just be the two of us for now on." The panel agreed that Woo focused on Kim the entire season, and that might've helped her make a decision. They agreed that season 5 is one of the best of Single's Inferno so far, with all the unpredictable love triangles.

Savannah Guthrie's Mom: Activity in Bitcoin Account as FBI Swarms Annie Guthrie's Neighborhood: Reports

Tue, 02/10/2026 - 6:50pm

Hours after the FBI released photos and videos of a subject who may be related to the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, TMZ's Harvey Levin confirmed there's been activity in a Bitcoin account that was part of an unverified ransom note. Levin was live on CNN when he revealed the account activity, though he did not disclose how much money was transferred.

A short while later, KGUN 9, the station that was sent the second unverified ransom note, confirmed this information.

"KGUN 9 can confirm there is activity in the bitcoin account listed in the ransom email," read a message on X posted on the official KGUN 9 account. "The activity is less than $300."

At least one of the unverified ransom notes demanded $6 million in Bitcoin be transferred by Monday, Feb. 9 at 5 p.m. local time. There had been no movement in the account by the deadline, however.

Former Hostage Negotiator Dan O’Shea told Fox News that missing the deadline didn't "mean the end of the story," but, rather, "would be the next chapter."

Also on Tuesday evening, the FBI and other law enforcement officials have been going door-to-door in Annie Guthrie and Tommaso Cioni's neighborhood. According photos and videos posted to X by media covering the case, officials could be seen knocking on doors, questioning residents in the area, and searching the backyards of some of the homes around the Guthrie-Cioni residence.

News Nation's Brian Entin also said that the "FBI’s elite hostage rescue team is in Tucson," according to sources.

This story is developing.

Rock Icon Says He’s ‘Hanging Up the Mic’ After 50 Years

Tue, 02/10/2026 - 6:47pm

After nearly five decades as one of rock’s most recognizable voices, Lou Gramm says he’s preparing to step away from the stage for good.

The legendary singer, best known as the original frontman of Foreigner, revealed on the Rock and Roll High School podcast that he plans to retire from touring after releasing one final solo album in 2026. Gramm, 75, said the decision is about timing, health, and wanting to enjoy life beyond the road while he still can.

“I’m going to hang up my microphone and my cord,” Gramm said, explaining that he plans to tour for a few months in support of the upcoming album before calling it a career.

The singer’s farewell comes after a remarkable run that began in the mid-1970s, when his soaring vocals helped turn Foreigner into one of the most successful rock bands of all time. As the voice behind classics like “Cold as Ice,” “Hot Blooded,” “Jukebox Hero,” and the chart-topping “I Want to Know What Love Is,” Gramm helped sell more than 80 million records worldwide.

During the interview, Gramm reflected on his journey from small-town Rochester, New York, to global superstardom, as well as the personal challenges he’s faced along the way, including surviving a life-threatening brain tumor in the 1990s that forced him to relearn how to speak and sing.

Despite those obstacles, Gramm has continued performing into his 70s, appearing with Foreigner’s current lineup and fronting his own band. But now, he says, the focus is shifting toward family, home life, and longtime passions like his classic car collection.

“I want to still be able to do the things I love while I’m in good health,” he said.

Gramm’s final album, titled Released, drops March 27, 2026. The first single, "Young Love," debuted on January 27. The album will be followed by what he says will be his last stretch of live dates, bringing one of classic rock’s great voices to a close.
